- 0:05Speaker 1: Ready for the World Series? Yeah, World Series is set.
- 0:08Speaker 1: Brewers race. It's going to be a good one. Best
- 0:11Speaker 1: team in the National League versus the best team in
- 0:13Speaker 1: the American League. I don't want to hear anything about
- 0:15Speaker 1: small markets, which everyone's going to talk about for the
- 0:18Speaker 1: next while going forward. Let's just enjoy the best two
- 0:22Speaker 1: teams in baseball with the best records are going to
- 0:25Speaker 1: the World Series. And we get to watch them. And
- 0:28Speaker 1: they're kind of images of each other. Both have great pitching.
- 0:30Speaker 1: Both have great Defense, both can bunt. They both steal bases.
- 0:35Speaker 1: They both, I mean, some of them, they have power,
- 0:37Speaker 1: but it's not the tremendous power of a Yankees or
- 0:39Speaker 1: a team like that. They're just good baseball. They're managed
- 0:44Speaker 1: by baseball guys, baseball lifers. It's going to be a
- 0:47Speaker 1: great World Series.
- 0:49Speaker 2: And people actually watch it. I think the viewership for game,
- 0:53Speaker 2: I think it was a most watched LCS, yeah, most
- 0:57Speaker 2: watched LCS game. Telecast on any network since 2018. NLCS,
- 1:06Speaker 2: 7,533,000 viewers on Fox and FS1.
- 1:15Speaker 1: Yeah, it's a big number. It's a big number. But that,
- 1:18Speaker 1: I mean, listen, that was Dodger driven. What you worry about,
- 1:20Speaker 1: and I don't even want to talk about this, is
- 1:22Speaker 1: the Brewers and the Rays are smaller markets. So people
- 1:26Speaker 1: are going to say, oh, no one's going to watch
- 1:28Speaker 1: them because... But if you watch these teams, you might
- 1:31Speaker 1: enjoy the game, you might enjoy baseball, and you might
- 1:34Speaker 1: meet some new stars. Jackson Churrio, Bryce Terang, Junior Caminero,
- 1:38Speaker 1: Yandy Diaz, Jonathan Aranda, Drew Rasmussen, the Miz. Most people
- 1:43Speaker 1: have heard about the Miz if you watch baseball. But,
- 1:46Speaker 1: you know, Trevor McGill. There's a lot of people on
- 1:48Speaker 1: these teams that people haven't heard of. So tune in.
- 1:50Speaker 1: You might find your new favorite player on a team
- 1:52Speaker 1: that you might not expect. The Rays have great uniforms.
- 1:55Speaker 1: The Brewers have great uniforms if you're into that kind
- 1:57Speaker 1: of thing. They both have great skits. The Brewers have
- 2:00Speaker 1: their slide out in left field when they hit a
- 2:02Speaker 1: home run. The Rays have Rays in right center, and
- 2:04Speaker 1: they have a DJ Kitty that plays tunes there. So
- 2:08Speaker 1: there's a lot of really cool things about this matchup,
- 2:11Speaker 1: and it's not just on-the-field stuff. It's off-the-field stuff, too,
- 2:14Speaker 1: that matters.
- 2:15Speaker 2: You know what's beautiful? Foul Territory's heading to the World Series.
- 2:20Speaker 2: We're going to the World Series. We're going to be
- 2:22Speaker 2: at Milwaukee, games one and two. We're doing a little
- 2:25Speaker 2: pop-up experience. Sports fans? Come on out and we'll be
- 2:30Speaker 2: able to relive all the iconic moments of the World Series.
- 2:33Speaker 2: We'll be able to hang out with Alana. KP's going
- 2:36Speaker 2: to be there. Kevin Pillar. And obviously, we're in Milwaukee,
- 2:39Speaker 2: so we're bringing a Milwaukee Brewers legend. Corey Knabel. Not me,
- 2:44Speaker 2: if you thought it was going to be me. Friday,
- 2:46Speaker 2: October 23rd. And Saturday, October 24th. I mean, it's... Like,
- 2:53Speaker 2: you have to go. When I talk about it the
- 2:55Speaker 2: other day, talk about cities that have... a World Series
- 3:00Speaker 2: in it, whether they're starved for the World Series or
- 3:02Speaker 2: they're not, the city just is like pulsing. This is
- 3:06Speaker 2: a free event. Like, free event. Come in, hang out.
- 3:10Speaker 2: It's like the pregame party for the game. And everybody knows,
- 3:14Speaker 2: even if you're not in college anymore, pregame is sometimes
- 3:18Speaker 2: more fun than the actual game. Now it's time to
- 3:20Speaker 2: charge the.
- 3:23Speaker 1: Mound.
- 3:26Speaker 2: Charge the mound. Sponsored by MLB 9 Innings. 26, and
- 3:32Speaker 2: we're just going to talk about what's happening. The World
- 3:36Speaker 2: Series preview is always fun for me, except for when
- 3:41Speaker 2: people are like, well, it shouldn't have been this team,
- 3:43Speaker 2: shouldn't have been that team. AJ, you said it. These
- 3:46Speaker 2: are the two best teams. These are the two best
- 3:48Speaker 2: teams that probably nobody saw coming, especially after the Rays
- 3:53Speaker 2: played their entire season in Steinbrenner last year. And then
- 3:57Speaker 2: essentially the whole team comes back and now look. So
- 4:01Speaker 2: maybe there was a little more to that than what
- 4:04Speaker 2: we really led into.
- 4:07Speaker 1: Yeah, I don't know about that. I just think they
- 4:09Speaker 1: played better. I mean, last year they had better years
- 4:12Speaker 1: out of guys this year than they did last year.
- 4:14Speaker 1: They avoided some of the major injuries. I know that
- 4:16Speaker 1: they lost like McClanahan and some of the other guys,
- 4:18Speaker 1: but they avoided a lot of the major injuries. And
- 4:20Speaker 1: they just played better. I mean, yes, there's something to
- 4:22Speaker 1: being in the trop every day. playing at the Trop
- 4:25Speaker 1: and knowing you're going to play and have it 72
- 4:28Speaker 1: degrees every day? Absolutely. But I don't know that that–
- 4:31Speaker 1: I mean, yes, we're going to look and say, oh,
- 4:33Speaker 1: Steinbrenner playing at Steinbrenner was a difference, but I don't
- 4:36Speaker 1: want to give it that. I mean, the Yankees, the
- 4:38Speaker 1: Red Sox, they were just better. The Blue Jays, they
- 4:40Speaker 1: were better last year, and those teams also played better.
- 4:42Speaker 1: The Rays were the best team. At home, they were
- 4:44Speaker 1: the best team. If you've been at the Trop, it's
- 4:45Speaker 1: a great place, great home field advantage. It's an awesome place.
- 4:49Speaker 1: It's different, and it's one of the few places that's
- 4:51Speaker 1: completely different than any other stadium in baseball. And they
- 4:55Speaker 1: take advantage of it. They play their game there. The fans,
- 4:57Speaker 1: as we saw last night, were rowdy. So it's a
- 5:00Speaker 1: nice home field advantage. But to say last year they
- 5:03Speaker 1: didn't do this because they were at Steinbrenner, sure, you
- 5:05Speaker 1: can throw some of that on it. But at the
- 5:07Speaker 1: end of the day, they just played better this year.
- 5:09Speaker 2: Experience, AJ. Experience in the postseason. How much do you
- 5:15Speaker 2: think it matters? Because there's only three guys on both
- 5:19Speaker 2: rosters that have ever played in a World Series. Do
- 5:22Speaker 2: you think it matters, or is it It doesn't matter
- 5:24Speaker 2: because both teams don't have many guys.
- 5:28Speaker 1: I mean, well, the Brewers have more guys in the Rays,
- 5:30Speaker 1: I think. Yanni Diaz, longest tenured. The Brewers have been
- 5:33Speaker 1: in the postseason every year.
- 5:34Speaker 2: I mean World Series.
- 5:37Speaker 1: No, you've already been in the postseason. The World Series
- 5:40Speaker 1: isn't any different than any other postseason game. I don't know.
- 5:42Speaker 1: It's not any different. I played in the World Series.
- 5:44Speaker 1: It's not a big deal. It's the same thing. It's
- 5:46Speaker 1: the same game. I mean, yeah, there's a little bit
- 5:49Speaker 1: more media involved. But if you've been in the LCS,
- 5:52Speaker 1: if you've been through the playoffs this many times, it's
- 5:55Speaker 1: not that big of a deal. I mean, it's just
- 5:56Speaker 1: a couple more media members when you go into the
- 5:58Speaker 1: interview room. Other than that, it's the same game.
- 6:04Speaker 3: This is the call of the Australian rubber bird.
- 6:06Speaker 1: Snap!
- 6:08Speaker 2: Snap!
- 6:09Speaker 3: This is the call of the Alaskan chili bird.
- 6:12Speaker 1: Kiki-kiki-kiki-kiki, geez, it's cold.
- 6:13Speaker 3: Kiki-kiki-kiki-kiki, geez, it's cold.
- 6:15Speaker 1: Geez, it's cold.
- 6:16Speaker 3: And this is the call of the marathon mascot bald eagle, Max.
- 6:20Speaker 2: Hi, it's Max.
- 6:21Speaker 1: Hello.
- 6:22Speaker 2: Did you know you could save up to a dollar
- 6:23Speaker 2: a gallon with the Marathon Rewards app? No.
- 6:26Speaker 3: Thanks for the call. Marathon, where fun runs on full.
- 6:30Speaker 3: Available at participating marathon locations. Terms and conditions apply. See
- 6:32Speaker 3: MarathonRewards.com for details.
- 6:35Speaker 4: AJ, how much time did you have off before game
- 6:38Speaker 4: one of a World Series from the end of the LCS?
- 6:41Speaker 1: I think we had five or six days. All right,
- 6:44Speaker 1: so what factor will that.
- 6:46Speaker 4: What factor is that going to play in? This is eight.
- 6:47Speaker 4: I mean, this is over a week. Personally, having seen it,
- 6:51Speaker 4: there's a little bit of rust, but that gets shaken
- 6:54Speaker 4: off pretty quickly. And the other factor would be, you know,
- 6:58Speaker 4: for the most part, a young kid is going to
- 7:00Speaker 4: start in game one and how he deals with it.
- 7:03Speaker 1: I don't think that's a problem. I think they know
- 7:05Speaker 1: what they're doing. I hate that excuse, Carl, more than anything,
- 7:09Speaker 1: because if a team plays well, they say, oh, we
- 7:12Speaker 1: were rested and ready to go, and if a team loses–
- 7:15Speaker 1: It started with the 2006 Tigers, I'm not going to lie.
- 7:19Speaker 1: That team, they played terrible against the Cardinals, and they
- 7:22Speaker 1: made a bunch of mistakes and threw some balls away.
- 7:25Speaker 1: Like Fernando Rodney, I remember, made some PFP mistakes. And
- 7:28Speaker 1: then after the World Series, like, oh, we were off
- 7:30Speaker 1: too long, and the Cardinals played all the way through.
- 7:34Speaker 1: I hate that excuse because the year before, we swept
- 7:37Speaker 1: the DS. We won in five in the LCS, and
- 7:40Speaker 1: then we swept the World Series, and we had time
- 7:43Speaker 1: off in between all of them because– Before the DS,
- 7:45Speaker 1: the Angels went five, and then when we swept them,
- 7:48Speaker 1: the other team went six. The Astros went six games.
- 7:51Speaker 1: So we had all kinds of time off, and it
- 7:53Speaker 1: was great. I was like, man, this is amazing. We
- 7:55Speaker 1: had days off. I can walk around Chicago, enjoy everybody
- 7:58Speaker 1: being like, man, you guys are in the World Series.
- 7:59Speaker 1: Go get them. So I hate that excuse, Carl. I
- 8:02Speaker 1: don't think it should matter. Just be ready to play.
- 8:05Speaker 1: That's it. And I don't have any doubt in my
- 8:06Speaker 1: mind that Pat Murphy will have these guys ready to play,
- 8:09Speaker 1: as will Kevin Cash.
- 8:10Speaker 4: Yeah, I don't doubt it either. But what you guys
- 8:13Speaker 4: are great at, all players, AJ, Kratzy, it doesn't matter
- 8:17Speaker 4: who you are. If you're on the Dodgers and you
- 8:20Speaker 4: win a World Series, they will tell you that nobody
- 8:23Speaker 4: believed in them. Or they'll create some chip that they
- 8:28Speaker 4: mysteriously have on their shoulder. It doesn't really matter the circumstances. However,
- 8:33Speaker 4: if the Brewers go into game one, Kratzy, and Mizorowski
- 8:37Speaker 4: walks three in the first inning... they will assign it
- 8:41Speaker 4: to we haven't played in eight days. I agree with
- 8:44Speaker 4: the simplistic view of it's a game. It's a World Series.
- 8:47Speaker 4: If you're not ready to play in game one, then
- 8:49Speaker 4: when are you ever going to be ready? But it's
- 8:52Speaker 4: a thing. It will be a thing if, in fact,
- 8:54Speaker 4: they come out and don't play crisply, where the Rays
- 8:57Speaker 4: will have two days off. And after a media day
- 9:00Speaker 4: where everybody gets blinded by the light, they'll be on
- 9:03Speaker 4: the field trying to maintain the consistency that they've just
- 9:07Speaker 4: established in this LCS against the guardians and pretty much
- 9:11Speaker 4: have had like both teams through the course of the
- 9:13Speaker 4: entire season. It will be a thing.
- 9:17Speaker 2: It'll be talked about based on the result. It'll be
- 9:20Speaker 2: talked about based on the result. You think Aaron Ashby
- 9:22Speaker 2: wanted to play three days after he threw three innings
- 9:25Speaker 2: to close out game four. I don't care how nasty
- 9:28Speaker 2: he was or how much in control he looked like
- 9:30Speaker 2: he was like he threw three innings. These dudes needed
- 9:34Speaker 2: a break. They needed a break. Like who would have
- 9:36Speaker 2: had the advantage of, if the guardians had made it
- 9:39Speaker 2: in the way that they were pitching their bullpen, like
- 9:41Speaker 2: the break is useful, no matter what happens. If you
- 9:45Speaker 2: have two days break, you're not sitting there like, well,
- 9:47Speaker 2: I didn't even have time to think about how big
- 9:50Speaker 2: a world series is like, no, like that doesn't, that's
- 9:53Speaker 2: not how you, you get into it and it's another
- 9:56Speaker 2: game and the adrenaline gets going and, me, to people
- 10:02Speaker 2: who say that, it was because of rust. I need
- 10:05Speaker 2: you to say that before the game. This team looks rusty.
- 10:08Speaker 2: How do you know? Well, because they haven't played. Not, well,
- 10:11Speaker 2: they lost so they looked rusty. Say what you think
- 10:14Speaker 2: it is before the game and then we'll go and
- 10:17Speaker 2: we'll evaluate what you thought as the game went on. Right.
- 10:21Speaker 1: All right.
- 10:22Speaker 4: So AJ, let's, let's go over. You guys did a
- 10:24Speaker 4: good job last night. A great job on the post
- 10:26Speaker 4: game show. I saw quite a bit of that actually,
- 10:28Speaker 4: knowing I was doing this today with you guys. And
- 10:31Speaker 4: oftentimes you go to sleep and you wake up and
- 10:33Speaker 4: you have some thoughts that you didn't get to share
- 10:35Speaker 4: last night, whether it be the post game or, or during.
- 10:38Speaker 4: So what, what did you wake up and say to yourself?
- 10:41Speaker 4: Either this is the headline going into this World Series,
- 10:44Speaker 4: or I wish we had talked more about this last
- 10:48Speaker 4: night as we look forward to Brewers and, of course,
- 10:51Speaker 4: the Rays.
- 10:53Speaker 1: How excited I am I get to go to a
- 10:54Speaker 1: World Series in Tampa Bay for the first time. In 2008,
- 10:58Speaker 1: I didn't go because we lost to the Rays in
- 11:01Speaker 1: the DS with the White Sox. And then in 2020, obviously,
- 11:06Speaker 1: I did get to go to the World Series, but
- 11:08Speaker 1: it was in Texas, so it was a little bit weird.
- 11:11Speaker 1: uh so i'm gonna get to go to the world
- 11:13Speaker 1: series in my home state uh for the first time
- 11:17Speaker 1: um because when the marlins have been in it uh
- 11:19Speaker 1: 97 i was in hawaii playing in winter ball in
- 11:22Speaker 1: 2003 i was in uh i was still playing and
- 11:25Speaker 1: we had lost to the yankees so again i didn't
- 11:27Speaker 1: think it was a good look to go after i
- 11:28Speaker 1: just lost so i'm excited to get to go to
- 11:30Speaker 1: a world series in my home home state carl and
- 11:33Speaker 1: uh Just want to see the drive for you.
- 11:35Speaker 4: Is that like, is this a car ride now? Is
- 11:38Speaker 4: that what this means to you?
- 11:39Speaker 1: It's a two hour, two hour ish drive depending on traffic.
- 11:42Speaker 1: So yeah, it's a drive, but it's worth it because again,
- 11:45Speaker 1: I used to try to, I used to go to
- 11:47Speaker 1: the world series every year. I used to try to,
- 11:48Speaker 1: when my son was a little bit younger, we used
- 11:50Speaker 1: to go and we have some friends that would go
- 11:52Speaker 1: with us. And we haven't gone the last couple of
- 11:55Speaker 1: years because of schedules. So now I'm going to be
- 11:58Speaker 1: like Randy or Rosa Raina and Tyler Glass now and
- 12:00Speaker 1: Alejandro Kirk and just sit there and, Be a fan,
- 12:04Speaker 1: except I hope they don't show me on TV. So
- 12:06Speaker 1: I'm going to ask my Fox people, please don't show me.
- 12:07Speaker 1: Maybe I'll be down in the truck or something so
- 12:09Speaker 1: they don't see me. But it'll be good to catch
- 12:11Speaker 1: up and see everybody and just have a good time
- 12:14Speaker 1: and enjoy a World Series game between the two best
- 12:16Speaker 1: teams in baseball. I can't reiterate that enough, Carl. The
- 12:19Speaker 1: two best teams in baseball are playing for the championship,
- 12:22Speaker 1: which neither one of them have ever won. So we're
- 12:24Speaker 1: going to crown a new champion, even though there's no
- 12:27Speaker 1: parody in baseball.
- 12:29Speaker 4: Kratzy, you have a thought that you didn't share last
- 12:32Speaker 4: night other than you have the ability to maybe go
- 12:35Speaker 4: and watch it on TV now and be comfortable, or
- 12:37Speaker 4: maybe you're going to go to one of these games?
- 12:39Speaker 2: I'm not going to go to one of these games.
- 12:43Speaker 2: My parents' 50th anniversary is this weekend, so I won't
- 12:46Speaker 2: be in Milwaukee, so there's that. But I would love
- 12:50Speaker 2: to go to one of these games. I think it
- 12:51Speaker 2: would be electric environment, both in the dome. I love
- 12:55Speaker 2: dome games, so it's extra loud. The biggest thing... that
- 13:00Speaker 2: I take away from last night is how the teams
- 13:04Speaker 2: that have advanced have on paper been the best teams.
- 13:10Speaker 2: And rarely do you see that happen. They play out
- 13:13Speaker 2: that way. But when it does happen, you say, why
- 13:16Speaker 2: did the other team fall short? Why did the, why
- 13:19Speaker 2: the guardians fall short? And I think they just had,
- 13:22Speaker 2: just didn't have quite enough of a team or, or,
- 13:27Speaker 2: Was it the Rays pitching? We kind of talked about
- 13:29Speaker 2: it in our pre-show meeting. Like, I'm interested to see
- 13:33Speaker 2: where this goes. Is it the Rays pitching or was
- 13:35Speaker 2: it the fact that the Guardians just don't have enough
- 13:38Speaker 2: offense like they haven't had for the last decade since
- 13:41Speaker 2: they've been at the World Series?
- 13:43Speaker 1: Agreed.
- 13:44Speaker 4: Yeah, I mean, I think there's a few people. I
- 13:46Speaker 4: don't know where you guys fell on this, but when
- 13:49Speaker 4: we came out with the bracket and the Red Sox
- 13:53Speaker 4: were battling the Yankees and then the Rays had to
- 13:55Speaker 4: deal with them, once they disposed of the Yankees, it
- 13:58Speaker 4: felt a foregone conclusion. It never felt like the Guardians
- 14:01Speaker 4: were in that series, even though they won the two games.
- 14:04Speaker 4: To me, it just didn't feel that way. And now
- 14:06Speaker 4: I think they get the ultimate test because this is
- 14:09Speaker 4: literally like, you know, this is battling your twin brother.
- 14:13Speaker 4: This is looking in the mirror. There are so many
- 14:16Speaker 4: aspects of these teams, including players that once played for
- 14:19Speaker 4: the other, that reflect each other's strengths and maybe their
- 14:24Speaker 4: potential weaknesses. And we'll talk much more about that with
- 14:28Speaker 4: our next guest. Ken Rosenthal is going to join us.
- 14:30Speaker 4: Game-changing swings, momentum-shifting pitches, trout at the plate, Kershaw on
- 14:35Speaker 4: the mound, and the new generation of fireballers. It's led
- 14:38Speaker 4: by Paul Skeens. Prove your stats, experience perfect contact and
- 14:41Speaker 4: clutch moments like never before in MLB 9 Innings 26.
- 14:46Speaker 4: Go to your phone's app store today to download MLB
- 14:49Speaker 4: 9 Innings 26. What do you think?
- 14:56Speaker 2: Well, our team does need some heat on the mound,
- 15:00Speaker 2: but we also need some power on the plate and
- 15:02Speaker 2: someone reliable in the infield.
- 15:04Speaker 3: I say we take Jimmy.
- 15:08Speaker 2: Yes!
- 15:11Speaker 1: Yes!
- 15:11Speaker 2: Yes!
- 15:12Speaker 1: Yes!
- 15:14Speaker 2: Maybe next year, guys.
- 15:19Speaker 1: Well, Kratz, I already told you I'm going to Games
- 15:21Speaker 1: 3 and Games 4 in Tampa. But Friday, Tampa Bay
- 15:23Speaker 1: and Milwaukee, 8 p.m. Eastern. Saturday, 8 p.m. Eastern also.
- 15:27Speaker 1: Seageek's the spot to get your tickets. Sunday's an off day,
- 15:30Speaker 1: so everyone can travel, get to Tampa Bay, enjoy God's country.
- 15:35Speaker 1: Get your tickets on Seageek. I know this for a fact.
- 15:38Speaker 1: The tickets in Milwaukee are a hot, hot commodity. So
- 15:42Speaker 1: get them now.
- 15:43Speaker 2: And that's what everybody's saying, how expensive the tickets are.
- 15:46Speaker 2: Here's what's great about SeatGeek is even with the prices
- 15:50Speaker 2: where you're like, whoa, that's a super high price, they'll
- 15:54Speaker 2: show you of the tickets that are available what you
- 15:57Speaker 2: can get if it's a good deal. Now, is it
- 16:00Speaker 2: a good deal compared to a spring training game, compared
- 16:04Speaker 2: to a July 3rd game?
- 16:06Speaker 1: No.
- 16:07Speaker 2: But it's a good deal compared to what you're going
- 16:10Speaker 2: to get.
- 16:10Speaker 1: And you know what?
- 16:11Speaker 2: If you're in Milwaukee, look on SeatGeek.com. for the three
- 16:15Speaker 2: games in Tampa. You might actually be able to fly
- 16:17Speaker 2: down to Tampa and go, I'm going to pay for
- 16:22Speaker 2: my flight, watch three games, and I'm going to go to,
- 16:27Speaker 2: and I'm going to save money more than I would
- 16:29Speaker 2: have if I had gone to one game in Milwaukee.
- 16:34Speaker 1: Yeah. Stay away, Milwaukee fans. Stay away. Because in Florida,
- 16:39Speaker 1: we try to keep everyone within our state. So if
- 16:42Speaker 1: you want to come down, that's great. Spend your tourist
- 16:43Speaker 1: dollars down in Florida.
- 16:45Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 16:46Speaker 1: We accept your dollars. We accept your dollars. But keep
- 16:49Speaker 1: your cheesehead stuff out of Florida because we don't really
- 16:53Speaker 1: like the cheeseheads down here. We like the bears.
- 16:56Speaker 2: And it'll be nice. It'll be nice. Nobody likes the bears.
- 16:59Speaker 1: The weather's awesome. By the way, the weather here is
- 17:02Speaker 1: awesome right now.
- 17:03Speaker 2: So.
- 17:04Speaker 1: Actually, I take it back. It's 140 degrees, so SeatGeek
- 17:07Speaker 1: doesn't cover your weather, but it will cover your tickets.

- 17:14Speaker 1: always do. Green means great deal. Red means think about it.

- 17:23Speaker 1: sure you click the link in the description to download
- 17:25Speaker 1: the app and have the code automatically added to your
- 17:27Speaker 1: account so you can use it later. nothing makes me
- 17:38Speaker 1: prouder than to say the team that beat my white
- 17:40Speaker 1: socks gets put in a grave so good night cleveland
- 17:43Speaker 1: guardians it was a nice year 85 wins jason kipnis
- 17:48Speaker 1: no sorry not sorry that your team lost uh you
- 17:51Speaker 1: were already counting your take your chickens uh to go
- 17:53Speaker 1: to the world series but it's not happening kip sorry
- 17:56Speaker 1: as much as we like you and the guardians and
- 17:58Speaker 1: Steven vote. And actually a lot of the guardians people
- 18:00Speaker 1: are awesome. So don't take it too. I love Sandy Alomar.
- 18:04Speaker 1: I love Kate Smith. I love, uh, Jose Ramirez. I mean,
- 18:07Speaker 1: I love a lot of the guardians people. That was
- 18:09Speaker 1: just more of a being in the division for my,
- 18:12Speaker 1: most of my career, you know, you learn to not
- 18:14Speaker 1: like certain teams and that's the way it should be. Uh,
- 18:16Speaker 1: with the guardians, listen, they won 85 games. They won
- 18:19Speaker 1: the division the last weekend of the year. Um, I
- 18:24Speaker 1: don't know what to say about the Guardians because they
- 18:26Speaker 1: didn't have a 20 home run guy. They didn't have
- 18:28Speaker 1: 70 RBI guy, 75 RBI guy. They didn't have a
- 18:32Speaker 1: 300 hitter. There's so many things offensively challenged this team was,
- 18:37Speaker 1: but they could really pitch. And the pitching carried them.
- 18:39Speaker 1: I just wish at some point, they did a nice
- 18:41Speaker 1: job going to get Joe Adele and Nathaniel Lowe. I
- 18:44Speaker 1: just wish at some point they could figure out how
- 18:46Speaker 1: to find some hitters because think how good they'd be
- 18:48Speaker 1: if you have Gavin Williams, Parker Messick, Tanner Bybee, and
- 18:52Speaker 1: you could add like, I don't know, Junior Caminero and
- 18:55Speaker 1: Yandy Diaz to the offense, that'd be a pretty good team.
- 18:59Speaker 2: Well, Yandy's got to be kept around there for sure.
- 19:04Speaker 2: But look at the two balls that were hit in,
- 19:09Speaker 2: let's see, it was Tommy Pham and Junior Caminero. Both
- 19:15Speaker 2: balls were every other park, it's supposed to be a
- 19:19Speaker 2: home run. We're in a day and age where it
- 19:21Speaker 2: is home run or bust. To me, the Guardians need
- 19:24Speaker 2: to find, not necessarily, oh, we got to find that
- 19:27Speaker 2: power guy. We need him. Like, where is that guy?
- 19:30Speaker 2: It's how do we enhance what we have because of
- 19:36Speaker 2: our park? Look, there's guys on this team that can
- 19:39Speaker 2: hit home runs. Chase DeLauder can hit home runs. The
- 19:42Speaker 2: ball can fly out to right field. But we saw
- 19:45Speaker 2: two cases in a short postseason stretch of games in Cleveland.
- 19:50Speaker 2: that the ball doesn't always travel. It's a tougher place
- 19:53Speaker 2: to hit homers. I don't care what history says. I
- 19:56Speaker 2: don't care what, like recently, this is what's going on
- 19:59Speaker 2: and it's, it can be a problem. So they have
- 20:02Speaker 2: to figure out just like Colorado has to figure out, well,
- 20:05Speaker 2: how do we get pitching in Colorado? Well, there's, It's
- 20:09Speaker 2: what you have to deal with. You have to learn
- 20:11Speaker 2: through it. And that's where I think the Guardians need
- 20:13Speaker 2: to find that, just the same way as they found
- 20:16Speaker 2: their goldmine in pitching.
- 20:21Speaker 1: Yeah, but I don't know how you develop hitters. I
- 20:22Speaker 1: think teams have had a much easier time finding pitching
- 20:25Speaker 1: than they have hitting. And I think that's where the
- 20:28Speaker 1: problem lies. Listen, is Stephen Kwan a nice player? Absolutely.
- 20:31Speaker 1: Can he help you win? Absolutely. Jose Ramirez, Hall of Famer, obviously.
- 20:35Speaker 1: But when you go around their infield, Travis Vazana has
- 20:37Speaker 1: to take another step. Obviously, Chase DeLauder has to take
- 20:39Speaker 1: the next step, right? Who plays first for him? And
- 20:42Speaker 1: are they going to bring back Nathaniel Lowe or try
- 20:44Speaker 1: someone else there, right? Center field, Petey Halpin, is he
- 20:48Speaker 1: a long-term answer, right? Is Rocio the answer? He plays
- 20:51Speaker 1: a nice shortstop, but he led the team in RBIs
- 20:53Speaker 1: out of the nine hole because of opportunity. So they
- 20:56Speaker 1: have a lot of things. They have nice pieces, but
- 20:58Speaker 1: can they take the next step? And then can they
- 21:00Speaker 1: supplement us?
- 21:01Speaker 2: Go outside.
- 21:01Speaker 1: I don't know who the free agents are. Again, I
- 21:03Speaker 1: don't know the answer to this because I haven't dug
- 21:04Speaker 1: into it because we're not in the offseason yet. Can
- 21:06Speaker 1: they go out and sign a big-time first baseman to
- 21:09Speaker 1: come in and hit 30 for them? Think how much
- 21:10Speaker 1: that would change. Do you run Austin Hedges and Patrick
- 21:13Speaker 1: Bailey back there again as catchers because Bailey had a
- 21:16Speaker 1: nice little run for a month or so where he
- 21:18Speaker 1: figured out how to hit for a little bit? Is
- 21:20Speaker 1: that the answer to catcher? You just can't have too
- 21:22Speaker 1: many positions on a field where guys aren't doing it offensively. Yes,
- 21:26Speaker 1: you can have one or two. The Rays have one
- 21:27Speaker 1: or two that aren't dynamic offensively, but then the other
- 21:31Speaker 1: seven guys make up for it. Can the Guardians figure
- 21:33Speaker 1: that out enough? And if, God forbid, Jose Ramirez doesn't
- 21:37Speaker 1: have the greatest year ever every single year like he
- 21:39Speaker 1: did this year, can you have enough offense to make
- 21:42Speaker 1: it work? The reason they were good in the postseason,
- 21:44Speaker 1: Jose Ramirez figured it out.
- 21:46Speaker 4: The biggest challenge for these teams, guys, is that the
- 21:49Speaker 4: Brewers and Rays have unfortunately ruined it for teams that
- 21:54Speaker 4: would say we can't spend money or we don't have
- 21:56Speaker 4: the money. Because when you look at those two teams
- 21:58Speaker 4: now that are in the World Series, they do have
- 22:00Speaker 4: enough power. They have enough small ball. They certainly have
- 22:03Speaker 4: enough starting pitching. The bullpens are great. Like it can
- 22:06Speaker 4: be done on a budget. And the problem for the
- 22:09Speaker 4: Indians now into the Guardians, for the most part, with
- 22:13Speaker 4: the exception of maybe the mid to late 90s, which
- 22:16Speaker 4: you guys are familiar with, the superstar names aren't there anymore.
- 22:22Speaker 4: except for Jose Ramirez, and Jose Ramirez could have gone elsewhere.
- 22:26Speaker 4: So how the Guardians and Chris Antonetti get back to
- 22:31Speaker 4: whatever it was that was successful in the 90s that
- 22:34Speaker 4: I think it had to do with the great pitching,
- 22:37Speaker 4: it had to do with the Baergas and the Bells
- 22:39Speaker 4: and the Loftons and the Martinuses and the Alamars, like
- 22:42Speaker 4: all of those, but they don't have those names. And
- 22:46Speaker 4: that's why that series that we just witnessed never felt
- 22:49Speaker 4: like It was a series. And the Rays are not
- 22:53Speaker 4: the Yankees. They're not the Dodgers. They're not the Phillies.
- 22:56Speaker 4: They're not the Braves. They don't come at you and
- 22:58Speaker 4: you look at them and be like, oh my God,
- 23:00Speaker 4: we can't compete. We don't belong in the same field.
- 23:03Speaker 4: But when you collectively look at them, it certainly felt
- 23:06Speaker 4: like they were two different leagues playing. And by the way,
- 23:10Speaker 4: the Guardians and Rays are in the same league. So
- 23:13Speaker 4: it felt to me they were missing so much unless
- 23:18Speaker 4: it was the Rays peaking at the right time. But
- 23:21Speaker 4: the Rays won 98 games during the regular season for
- 23:23Speaker 4: a reason. And as you know, in Chicago and elsewhere,
- 23:27Speaker 4: it came down to the very last week which team
- 23:29Speaker 4: was going to win the Central. So the series played
- 23:33Speaker 4: out the way it felt like it should have played
- 23:34Speaker 4: out to me. I thought it was a five-game series.
- 23:37Speaker 4: I was surprised it went six.
- 23:41Speaker 1: I can't argue. I didn't think it was going to
- 23:43Speaker 1: go that long either. I thought it would be over
- 23:45Speaker 1: rather quickly, and credit to the Guardians for getting it
- 23:47Speaker 1: to six because they did. They won two of the
- 23:51Speaker 1: first three. They beat Rasmussen, and then Gavin Williams shoved
- 23:54Speaker 1: in game three, and they were up 2-1, and you're thinking, wow,
- 23:56Speaker 1: this might not go back to Tampa. And then Tampa,
- 23:57Speaker 1: over time, their depth took up. Again, it goes back
- 23:59Speaker 1: to this for pitching. Okay. You start seeing these guys.
- 24:03Speaker 1: Kate Smith finally was vulnerable. Gattis was finally vulnerable. These
- 24:07Speaker 1: guys who they'd seen over and over and over again
- 24:10Speaker 1: because the starters go two innings. When you have a
- 24:12Speaker 1: guy like I talked about, Parker Messick, who has been
- 24:15Speaker 1: one of your best starters all year. Let him, let
- 24:16Speaker 1: him eat. Maybe he figures it out. I don't know,
- 24:18Speaker 1: but you see these guys over and over again. Eventually
- 24:20Speaker 1: it wears you down. You can't just keep doing this.
- 24:23Speaker 1: We say this every year in baseball team with a
- 24:25Speaker 1: starting pitching usually wins.
- 24:27Speaker 2: No doubt.
- 24:27Speaker 4: Hey fellas, first time, long time. Kevin Long is back.
- 24:31Speaker 4: Apparently going to speak with the Mets tomorrow, but a
- 24:33Speaker 4: coaching staff position per a source. He was fired as
- 24:36Speaker 4: the Philly city coach last week. He was of course
- 24:38Speaker 4: the Mets hitting coach. The last time the team reached
- 24:40Speaker 4: the world series, he is, He's close with Juan Soto
- 24:43Speaker 4: from his national days, that according to Mike Puma with
- 24:46Speaker 4: the New York Post. Let's start with that theory, Kratzy.
- 24:51Speaker 4: I've worked for years with Eduardo Perez. You know, the
- 24:56Speaker 4: notion that a hitting coach can make a significant difference
- 25:00Speaker 4: and Long has had a long run of success. You
- 25:04Speaker 4: tell me the idea that he might go back to
- 25:07Speaker 4: New York. Are we putting Band-Aids on here? Is this
- 25:10Speaker 4: a fix?
- 25:10Speaker 2: What do you make of it? I think he's a
- 25:13Speaker 2: tremendous hitting coach and I think his reputation precedes him.
- 25:16Speaker 2: I think it's also okay to say, you know what,
- 25:20Speaker 2: maybe he stayed a little too long in Philly or
- 25:22Speaker 2: they just needed a new voice. Both, both things can
- 25:26Speaker 2: be very true. And in my opinion, you go, Kevin Long,
- 25:30Speaker 2: you won world series in New York. You did in Washington.
- 25:33Speaker 2: You did in, you went to the world series in
- 25:36Speaker 2: New York. Like, I think it's fine. I think he
- 25:40Speaker 2: should be the best available if you have a shot
- 25:42Speaker 2: at going to get him.
- 25:45Speaker 1: What about you, H? I love Kevin Long, except for
- 25:48Speaker 1: the fact that he big-legged me to come on the
- 25:50Speaker 1: show a couple times. But other than that, I love
- 25:51Speaker 1: Kevin Long. He's great. I love him. I love talking
- 25:56Speaker 1: to him. I love the way he teaches hitting. We've
- 25:58Speaker 1: sat down and had many talks about hitting. And certain
- 26:02Speaker 1: coaches out there don't like Kevin Long because he talks
- 26:04Speaker 1: hitting different than certain people that just got fired in
- 26:07Speaker 1: other cities. You know, he does drills that are different.
- 26:11Speaker 1: He's helped a lot of people. Kratz knows who I'm
- 26:12Speaker 1: talking about, by the way. It's either here or there.
- 26:16Speaker 1: But Kevin Long is awesome. He knows how to talk
- 26:18Speaker 1: to guys. He knows how to get guys going. He
- 26:21Speaker 1: knows what's right, what needs to be said. He's been
- 26:24Speaker 1: doing it for so long. If you can't get along
- 26:26Speaker 1: with Kevin Long and figure out something from him, then
- 26:29Speaker 1: you're just not really trying that hard because he knows
- 26:31Speaker 1: how to teach hitting and he knows how to get
- 26:33Speaker 1: you to hit.
- 26:34Speaker 2: And it's not just one way. It's multiple ways to
- 26:38Speaker 2: be successful in the big leagues.
- 26:44Speaker 5: AJ, in this post season, there is a chance for
- 26:48Speaker 5: a fan base to get very excited to witness either
- 26:51Speaker 5: their first ever world series title or a world series
- 26:54Speaker 5: title that hasn't been in a long time.
- 26:57Speaker 2: Right?
- 26:57Speaker 5: So if you're a fan out there and you're going, man,
- 27:00Speaker 5: some things never change. No, in baseball, it can turn around,
- 27:03Speaker 5: but here's what really doesn't change. Mint Mobile, $ 15 a
- 27:07Speaker 5: month on your wireless bill. It's been there since we
- 27:11Speaker 5: started talking about Mint Mobile, and it will continue.
- 27:14Speaker 1: It's still there, and like you said, Scott, it's never
- 27:16Speaker 1: going to change. The coverage is great. It's unlimited plans
- 27:20Speaker 1: for $ 15 a month. People complaining about how stuff is expensive.
- 27:24Speaker 1: Mint Mobile, still the same. $ 15, great coverage for a
- 27:27Speaker 1: great price.
- 27:28Speaker 5: Go to mintmobile.com slash territory. That's mintmobile.com slash territory for
- 27:34Speaker 5: $ 15 a month. $ 45 upfront payment required, equivalent to $ 15
- 27:38Speaker 5: a month. New customers on first three-month plan only. Taxes
- 27:41Speaker 5: and fees extra. See Mint Mobile for details.
- 27:44Speaker 4: Hi, check out our latest merchandise, foulterritoryshop.com. Lots of brewers, Rays, T-shirts.
- 27:50Speaker 4: Got to be hats in there. All sorts of gear,
- 27:53Speaker 4: garb for the World Series for you to wear and
- 27:56Speaker 4: represent the team you think is going to win. Brewers
- 27:59Speaker 4: and Rays tease. So it looks like this sort of
- 28:03Speaker 4: goes back to the Rosenthal conversation about copycat league, etc.
- 28:07Speaker 4: It makes sense that teams are plucking guys from organizations
- 28:11Speaker 4: that have had success. It looks like the Brewers assistant GM,
- 28:14Speaker 4: according to Bob Nightingale, has been with the Brewers since 07,
- 28:17Speaker 4: is now a serious candidate for the Houston Astros general
- 28:20Speaker 4: manager position. vacancy you guys both both played so tell
- 28:24Speaker 4: me the Astros or seem to be a little bit
- 28:27Speaker 4: unique in the ownerships um I don't know desire to
- 28:32Speaker 4: be involved and that of course is Jim Crane who
- 28:35Speaker 4: I know and respect and like but it I'm not
- 28:39Speaker 4: sure about autonomy in the Astros organization but you get
- 28:42Speaker 4: in other organizations because Kratz has given me the best
- 28:46Speaker 4: facial expression I'll go to.
- 28:48Speaker 2: You uh Man, I love Jim Crane. I do. My
- 28:54Speaker 2: little month and a half that I was there, I
- 28:55Speaker 2: really respected the way he's done things. I think he
- 28:58Speaker 2: probably holds a standard that I think is probably unreachable
- 29:03Speaker 2: just based on the fact that James Click gets fired
- 29:06Speaker 2: after winning a World Series. Dana Brown gets a beleaguered
- 29:10Speaker 2: team with a below average pitching staff to the playoffs.
- 29:16Speaker 1: I think.
- 29:17Speaker 2: These GMs have done a tremendous job. And so for
- 29:21Speaker 2: Matt Klein, who I really respect from the Brewers organization,
- 29:24Speaker 2: if that's the case, hopefully he gets some latatimi.
- 29:31Speaker 1: Hi, fellas.
- 29:32Speaker 4: Per Front Office Sports, I don't know if you know this,
- 29:34Speaker 4: but tickets to get into Game 1 of the World Series,
- 29:36Speaker 4: Jeff kind of just referenced it in Milwaukee, higher than
- 29:39Speaker 4: the entry price. price for the Super Bowl. World Series
- 29:43Speaker 4: Game 1, 2809. Super Bowl was 2,600.
- 29:48Speaker 1: That's aftermarket. But, I mean, it's been a long time.
- 29:52Speaker 1: It's been 1982, and they're passionate fans in Milwaukee. So
- 29:55Speaker 1: good for them. But, yeah, I've heard this. It's crazy.
- 30:00Speaker 2: Timeless ticket.
- 30:02Speaker 4: Are you spending $ 2, 809 to get in, AJ?
- 30:04Speaker 1: You're going.
- 30:05Speaker 4: Are you forking over $ 2, 809?
- 30:06Speaker 1: No, I got a credential, Carl. I don't need $ 2, 809.
- 30:11Speaker 1: And I know these people. I know people at Fox.
- 30:13Speaker 1: There's this company called Fox that I work for. There's
- 30:15Speaker 1: this company called Fox that I work for that usually
- 30:19Speaker 1: comes through. They might not be the great seats, but
- 30:20Speaker 1: I'll be in the building. And I don't think they're
- 30:22Speaker 1: going to be $ 2, 800, but maybe.
- 30:27Speaker 2: Nick, you're correct. I'm not paying $ 2, 800 unless AJ is
- 30:30Speaker 2: paying for it.
- 30:33Speaker 1: I'm not paying that. Like I said, I got my credential.
- 30:36Speaker 1: I got a credential. I'll go by myself.
- 30:38Speaker 4: You talked about the ratings. Will the ratings be great
- 30:41Speaker 4: for this World Series? Not that that's a barometer for anything.
- 30:45Speaker 4: Will people watch this World Series, or will it take
- 30:47Speaker 4: a game six and seven?
- 30:51Speaker 1: People should watch. I don't know if they will just
- 30:53Speaker 1: because everyone says they– Don't want the Dodgers to win,
- 30:56Speaker 1: but then the Dodgers and Yankees and Red Sox are out,
- 30:58Speaker 1: and then nobody watches. So I don't understand why everyone
- 31:01Speaker 1: says they want this, but then nobody watches. So do
- 31:04Speaker 1: you not watch when there's not one of these teams?
- 31:06Speaker 1: So if you're one of those people saying it, tune
- 31:09Speaker 1: in and watch.
- 31:10Speaker 2: I agree.
- 31:12Speaker 4: And the only way they're going to become popular is
- 31:14Speaker 4: to have them play in World Series, and people will
- 31:16Speaker 4: watch and say, I like their style of play.
- 31:18Speaker 1: I want to watch them more.
- 31:33Speaker 4: We had Anthony Rizzo on yesterday on Dirt for the
- 31:36Speaker 4: Dugout as we slapped some hands. We've had Adam Wainwright on.
- 31:39Speaker 4: We've had David Ross and Dustin Pedroia. We went through managers.
- 31:43Speaker 4: We had Cora and Boone. We had Buck Showalter, Dusty Baker.
- 31:47Speaker 4: A little later on, actually, today, I'm going to do
- 31:49Speaker 4: another one of those with... with Justin Musil about baseball recruiting.
- 31:54Speaker 4: I'm going to find out what in the heck goes
- 31:55Speaker 4: into baseball recruiting. You guys probably are aware of this stuff.
- 31:58Speaker 4: I am unfamiliar with it. He used to work for
- 32:00Speaker 4: the Brewers organization, my co-host for three or four years
- 32:05Speaker 4: in their front office. And I'm looking forward to finding
- 32:07Speaker 4: out when you have a high school age kid or
- 32:09Speaker 4: even younger, what goes into getting them prepared to play
- 32:13Speaker 4: at the next level. We're going to do that around
- 32:15Speaker 4: five o'clock Eastern time. Thanks everybody for watching on Marquee.
- 32:20Speaker 4: For AJ and Pratsy, I'm Carl Ravitch. We'll see you tomorrow.
- 32:27Speaker 4: What was it like in the days leading up to AJ,
- 32:31Speaker 4: a world series? Like what are some of the things
- 32:33Speaker 4: that go through your mind? Is it all about ticket gathering?
- 32:37Speaker 4: What are you thinking at this stage? Oh, you just
- 32:40Speaker 4: wanted to get there. Um, you just want to get
- 32:42Speaker 4: the games to, to be played really. Um, All that
- 32:46Speaker 4: stuff is taken care of most of the time because
- 32:48Speaker 4: you have to buy the tickets at the beginning of
- 32:49Speaker 4: the postseason.
- 32:51Speaker 1: It's easy. No, I asked you at the beginning of
- 32:53Speaker 1: the postseason. You said you didn't want any. Sorry, I
- 32:55Speaker 1: can't get any more. So that part's easy. There are
- 32:58Speaker 1: some flights that you get involved, but most of the
- 33:00Speaker 1: time at this point with the Internet, people can take
- 33:02Speaker 1: care of themselves. The thing is you just want to
- 33:05Speaker 1: get there. You just don't want anyone to get hurt
- 33:07Speaker 1: in the simulated games you're playing, and you just want
- 33:09Speaker 1: the games to get there. Because everywhere you go, Someone
- 33:12Speaker 1: says something to you, hey, man, good luck in the
- 33:13Speaker 1: World Series. I'm so excited. I haven't seen a World
- 33:15Speaker 1: Series in this long and da-da-da-da-da, 1882. And for the Rays,
- 33:19Speaker 1: you know, you guys really need to win because you
- 33:21Speaker 1: guys have never won one. So it's just get the
- 33:23Speaker 1: games here and get ready because you just, as a player,
- 33:25Speaker 1: you want to play.
- 33:28Speaker 2: And you're used to coming to the ballpark every single
- 33:31Speaker 2: day and, like, you want to get there early and
- 33:34Speaker 2: you're coming for inter-squad. you're coming for live SIM games,
- 33:39Speaker 2: all that stuff. You get your work in, but it
- 33:41Speaker 2: doesn't quite have that same feel. And exactly what AJ said.
- 33:46Speaker 2: It's like, you want that. You want, like you're craving that.
- 33:52Speaker 4: It's a good crave. And the idea that we're, we're
- 33:55Speaker 4: literally like 10 days away from the end of the
- 33:57Speaker 4: season with an unknown, what, what happens after, I think
- 34:00Speaker 4: we should all relish the next 10 games fellas. And, uh,
- 34:03Speaker 4: And here's one as we say goodbye here on the show.
- 34:06Speaker 4: This was shown on the Jumbotron. I don't know if
- 34:08Speaker 4: you saw it, but our good buddy Danny Wexelman posted it. Derek,
- 34:13Speaker 4: thank you for the ticks. I'm sorry. I think we
- 34:17Speaker 4: should stay just friends.
- 34:20Speaker 2: Hmm.
- 34:21Speaker 4: So the ticks thing, the tick plan didn't really work,
- 34:24Speaker 4: did it there?
- 34:27Speaker 1: He tried. He shot a shot.
- 34:30Speaker 2: He got put in the friend zone.
- 34:32Speaker 1: He's He shot a shot. Shoot or shoot.
- 34:37Speaker 4: Shoot or shoot. They're going to keep shooting. So I'm
- 34:39Speaker 4: not sure that Derek's going to be put in his place.
- 34:41Speaker 4: I think he's going to keep shooting. But the tickets
- 34:43Speaker 4: didn't work. It was cheaper.
- 34:45Speaker 2: It was in Tampa. The tickets were cheap. So it
- 34:48Speaker 2: was in Tampa. At least he didn't buy Milwaukee tickets.
- 34:51Speaker 2: And she said, you're still in the friend zone. Heck
- 34:55Speaker 2: of a place to go, though. We've got a chance
- 34:57Speaker 2: to watch a championship.
- 34:59Speaker 4: Good for them. Good try, fella.
- 35:01Speaker 1: Good try.
- 35:02Speaker 4: All right, guys, that was fun. I apologize for any
- 35:04Speaker 4: of the technical issues that I was dealing with. I'm
- 35:06Speaker 4: going to get on the phone with my Wi-Fi provider,
- 35:09Speaker 4: but thanks very much for hanging in there.
- 35:13Speaker 1: No problem. Thank you. All right, boys. Adios, everybody.
