- 0:05Everybody welcome you, Ellie Vogel.
- 0:07And people are like, what are you drinking?
- 0:08Like, how are you painting so much?
- 0:10You know, I'm picking a skull job.
- 0:11Your sun sign is the tip of the iceberg.
- 0:13We can appreciate ourselves and value our own opinions.
- 0:16So many of us have that where we have something unique and special,
- 0:19but we don't value it.
- 0:20But so many people, their entire life is spent healing.
- 0:23When are they going to live?
- 0:24The more you own something in yourself,
- 0:27the more people sense the authenticity and the confidence,
- 0:30and they follow your energetic lead.
- 0:33I might as well live.
- 0:36Hi, Shafelas.
- 0:37Welcome to another episode of Caller Tati.
- 0:40Today, I have an amazing guest.
- 0:42She's an artist, she's a life coach,
- 0:46and she can read your astrology sign.
- 0:48I can.
- 0:49Everybody welcome you, Ellie Vogel.
- 0:51Hi, thank you so much.
- 0:53Thanks for having me.
- 0:54I'm good.
- 0:54I'm so excited.
- 0:55I'm so happy you're here.
- 0:57Welcome to Miami.
- 0:58Thank you.
- 1:00What did you come to Miami for?
- 1:01Exactly.
- 1:01We have an event tonight.
- 1:02I'm actually hosting a live podcast.
- 1:06Oh, that's awesome.
- 1:06Yeah.
- 1:07So, and then we figured it might as well,
- 1:08Faperine, you know?
- 1:10Yeah.
- 1:10Definitely, it was so funny, because you texted me.
- 1:14I was like, over a week ago to schedule a time to film a podcast.
- 1:20And I have been following you for a really long time.
- 1:25I realized my old account followed your account.
- 1:28My old account got deleted, because it couldn't log back in.
- 1:33And then when I got a new account, I had to refall everybody.
- 1:35But when you started your art, I was like, wow, her art is so different.
- 1:40It's beautiful.
- 1:41That's so cool.
- 1:41Like, you don't know who was behind the screen, you know?
- 1:44Like, you said you love art.
- 1:46I love art.
- 1:47You're like, you're really like an artist.
- 1:49You just, like, you went to arts.
- 1:51You went to a fashion design.
- 1:52You put together outfits and stuff, right?
- 1:55Like, I know that.
- 1:57So, you have, you're the true kind.
- 1:59I mean, I definitely always had an artistic side.
- 2:02A more, like, left brain than right brain,
- 2:05where it's like, those are the things that make me happy.
- 2:08Those are the things that, I don't know, I guess,
- 2:12not just bring me joy, but they get me through life.
- 2:15Yeah.
- 2:15Also, you're an Aquarius.
- 2:16So, you're not.
- 2:17You're not.
- 2:18We're gonna get there.
- 2:19Did you look into my birthday?
- 2:21I, of course, I did.
- 2:22That's why I was late.
- 2:23I was being just joking with you.
- 2:25There's a lot of traffic.
- 2:26But, no, I saw, like, you're automatically
- 2:30unconventional, different, and yeah, like, okay.
- 2:33Cool.
- 2:34So, yeah, Ellie, yeah.
- 2:36I want to get into everything.
- 2:40Art, astrology, life coaching.
- 2:44Your first true passion that you have showcased
- 2:48on social was art.
- 2:50Yeah.
- 2:51And how did you get into that?
- 2:53I always, like, I always considered myself an artist
- 2:58and defined myself by that.
- 3:00Even before I took it seriously as a career,
- 3:05like, I did AP Art in high school,
- 3:08and it was just something that was, like, so ingrained internal.
- 3:11And me, like, I remember when we were dating,
- 3:13me and my husband, like, I told him that,
- 3:15like, I'm an artist, and he was, like, what?
- 3:18Like, what does that even mean?
- 3:19I'm like, I don't know, I just, like, that's like me.
- 3:22And then I did the regular conventional path.
- 3:25I got a degree in special ed,
- 3:26because everyone said you need to be, you know,
- 3:29responsible and do the right thing.
- 3:31And that was what my mother said I have to do.
- 3:34So, of course, we listen, we're good kids.
- 3:36And then I just, I started on this teaching journey,
- 3:40and while it was beautiful, and I enjoyed it,
- 3:43it wasn't me, like, I wasn't clicking.
- 3:46Like, this was one part, the career.
- 3:48And then I was here.
- 3:49And like, they were, they weren't talking to each other.
- 3:51Like, they were completely separate.
- 3:53And I felt so hungry, and thirsty, and alone, and gray,
- 3:58and just uninspired, and long story short,
- 4:01ended up in my therapy session.
- 4:03And she's like, what are you really like doing?
- 4:05And I said, I really like painting.
- 4:07And she's like, so paint, like, go home and paint.
- 4:10And I was like, I never wanted to look at it
- 4:12after 12th grade, after APR.
- 4:13So I was like, what am I going to do?
- 4:14This is not practical.
- 4:15I'm never using this.
- 4:16Ignore it.
- 4:18Forget about it.
- 4:19And I remember even in seminary going to the spot,
- 4:22and walking around and asking the artist there,
- 4:24like, practically, like, new yada, like, how,
- 4:26how do you make money?
- 4:27Like, what, what, how do you eat?
- 4:30And it was just such a, like, not typical.
- 4:33Nobody was doing this.
- 4:34Like, nobody was challenging the industry.
- 4:38Like, no, it's not, like, artist star.
- 4:40If you can't do it, especially your mother,
- 4:42you're, you're, you know, like, it's not happening.
- 4:44So she's had to go home and paint.
- 4:46So I did.
- 4:47I actually listened to her advice.
- 4:49And when Nassau came home from my rev one day,
- 4:53the paintings that I started before he left
- 4:55were, were completed.
- 4:56And he was like, you're a complete freak of nature.
- 4:59And I was like, why?
- 5:00Like, you can't, like, you can't do this.
- 5:02Like, you, you just think you're normal.
- 5:04And he's like, no, and also like the efficiency
- 5:08and like, how the perfection that you have in your hand,
- 5:10he's like, it's really, really cool.
- 5:12And like, he really gave me like a new perspective.
- 5:14I didn't see myself like that.
- 5:16I was like, I just thought I was regular.
- 5:17Like, and I think that's so many of us have that,
- 5:20where we have something unique and special,
- 5:22but we don't value it, because we just,
- 5:23we're like, we're too in it to see it, you know?
- 5:26And he was always from day one.
- 5:27Like, such my number one fan pushed me, pushed me, pushed me.
- 5:31I would never be able to have done it without him ever.
- 5:34Like, he supported us through financially, emotionally.
- 5:38Like, there was almost no way for us to do it.
- 5:41Like, I ended up leaving my special ed job,
- 5:44and I burnt the bridges.
- 5:46Like, I had to go get another certification
- 5:48to continue being a special ed teacher.
- 5:50And I was like, if I go do that,
- 5:52then I'm just gonna have too much comfort.
- 5:53I'm like, I'm not, I'm not.
- 5:54Like, it's done.
- 5:55It's over.
- 5:56And in 2015, 2016 was when I really put all my eggs
- 5:59into this art basket, and I committed,
- 6:01and I was like, if I'm gonna do this,
- 6:02I'm gonna do it all the way.
- 6:04And I used Instagram as like my virtual store to begin with.
- 6:07And I decided I made like a mental no,
- 6:10I was like, I'm posting every single day.
- 6:12Because if I post, then it shows that my store's open.
- 6:14Yeah.
- 6:15And it's like object permanence.
- 6:16If you're there, they're there.
- 6:17If you're not there, no one's there.
- 6:18And so I really, in order to post every day,
- 6:21I had to create the content.
- 6:23My content was painting.
- 6:24So I forced myself backwards to paint,
- 6:26or else I wouldn't have anything to post.
- 6:28Right.
- 6:29And Instagram, that you need an audience.
- 6:31Then to the day, we all like artists really want
- 6:33to paint for themselves.
- 6:34But like, if your audience doesn't like what you're painting,
- 6:37then you're not really doing anything.
- 6:39You're not selling.
- 6:39So it's like you have to find that sweet spot
- 6:41between what they want, what you want.
- 6:45So like I found through them speaking,
- 6:48through them telling me what they liked
- 6:50and what they didn't like, I found my voice.
- 6:52And yeah, one thing led to the next.
- 6:54And then I ended up getting on to it being on Instagram.
- 6:57I didn't love being on Instagram at first.
- 6:59I happened to be shot more shy than they come across
- 7:04and very private, but I had to be there.
- 7:07And it was almost like God told me like,
- 7:10no, this is your place.
- 7:11Like this is where your tough get is going to happen.
- 7:13And the road has just been so interesting.
- 7:17And like just so many things have come up through the art.
- 7:20It's so fascinating, because again,
- 7:23you started showcasing your art
- 7:26when Instagram was still relatively new.
- 7:29Yeah.
- 7:29And people were not, like the influencer era did not start yet.
- 7:34Like people were bloggers and then the bloggers
- 7:37started morphing into influencers,
- 7:40but they were still called bloggers.
- 7:42And it was kind of like the first wave of power
- 7:49showing what social media can do
- 7:53and how it can influence.
- 7:55And I'm sure you've gotten like really great feedback
- 7:58from women, men, kids, how you inspire them
- 8:04to like maybe pursue more art in their life
- 8:07because art is not just something that's a talent,
- 8:11but it's also therapeutic and it's so true.
- 8:14Right, it's so true what you're saying.
- 8:16Like so many people messaged me like,
- 8:18oh, I was never into art before,
- 8:19but like your page got me into it.
- 8:21And it's true because we grow up
- 8:23in this like religious society.
- 8:24Like we're not so cultured, like you know what I mean?
- 8:27And especially we're cultured and food holidays
- 8:31going to school and dressing a certain way.
- 8:34That's our culture.
- 8:35Exactly, if fashion we can get culture there.
- 8:38But like when it comes to our like for sure for me,
- 8:40I could speak for myself, like I was definitely not.
- 8:42Like I went to Bay Siaco,
- 8:44if I was just a regular girl and like my parents were not,
- 8:47like there was no extra money for any art classes
- 8:52or anything to just like we weren't like just indulging
- 8:56in our talents.
- 8:58And so yeah, so when I started on this art journey,
- 9:02I was exploring myself and I got,
- 9:04it took my audience with me and my husband also like he,
- 9:07he never knew that he wasn't art either.
- 9:09Meanwhile, like we're both artists.
- 9:10Like do you guys paint together?
- 9:12No, he's not a painter, but he's like you,
- 9:14like he's just eccentric, different, like gets art,
- 9:17but like doesn't actually do it, you know what I mean?
- 9:19I mean I paint, I used to paint a lot.
- 9:22That's so fun.
- 9:22I had paintings in my parents' house.
- 9:23That's awesome.
- 9:24And I told my mother when they moved out of their old house,
- 9:26I'm like, just get rid of it.
- 9:27She's like, are you kidding me?
- 9:29I am not throwing your art effort.
- 9:30I remember.
- 9:31And I'm like, okay, put it in a storage unit.
- 9:35And I guess let it collect dust until somebody wants it.
- 9:37But when I moved to New York after I got divorced,
- 9:41I was living in LA and I moved to New York
- 9:44right after I got divorced,
- 9:45I had the biggest urge to just buy these massive canvases
- 9:50in my little studio apartment and just paint
- 9:52like the craziest things I've ever painted in my life.
- 9:54That's so fun.
- 9:56And some of them I kept and I shipped them here to Miami.
- 10:01And I think it was like kind of like different phases
- 10:05and moods that I had,
- 10:07because some of them looked like really funny and like funky
- 10:11and then some of them looked really dark,
- 10:13like girl you need like an antidepressant.
- 10:16Like it was interesting because it was like kind of showing
- 10:19like different phases of like my post divorce life.
- 10:22Like there was a lot of anger and then there was a lot of
- 10:25but it's amazing.
- 10:26And then there was like this like refresh button
- 10:30that was hit and where it's like, you know what?
- 10:33Like I dealt with all the trauma.
- 10:36Not that it was like Uber traumatic,
- 10:38but there is like a level of trauma that everybody goes through
- 10:42after a divorce, whether it was like minor or very major.
- 10:46But art is definitely something that I look at as medicine
- 10:50and therapy.
- 10:52And yeah, I've been through every single therapy session
- 10:56and then I leave and I'm like, okay,
- 10:58no, because it's like you're in the present
- 11:02and it's like it's a body situation.
- 11:04It's like it's so mad like it's, you know, you're getting rid
- 11:07it's amazing or art did that to me too.
- 11:09Like I didn't even realize how much I needed to release.
- 11:12And then when I started painting like I was like a machine
- 11:15and people were like, no, you're psychotic.
- 11:17Like what are you drinking?
- 11:19Like how are you painting so much?
- 11:21I'm like, yeah, it's called trauma.
- 11:22But what's interesting, what I always notice about your artwork
- 11:25and maybe I'm just one of those people
- 11:27who pay really close attention to detail,
- 11:30I have noticed your color palettes that you use
- 11:34and the strokes that you use.
- 11:36They're very soft.
- 11:39The colors use are like a lot of purples,
- 11:42a lot of light blue, a lot of like yellowish tones.
- 11:44You pay attention, I love that.
- 11:46It was like, everything is just very, what's the right word?
- 11:51I know what you mean.
- 11:52Yeah.
- 11:52And I feel like looking at your artwork,
- 11:55it's like you could be painting something
- 11:56that isn't necessarily like a soft moment
- 11:59where like it's like a mother holding her baby
- 12:01but it could be like more of like a Judaic inspired piece
- 12:05but like you still add that like level like serenity
- 12:08and like peace and form.
- 12:10Yeah, which is very interesting.
- 12:12It is very interesting.
- 12:13I know, I don't know why I do that.
- 12:14Like you have a painting of like the hotel
- 12:17and it's like a very soft painting of the hotel.
- 12:19That's the only way I can just survive it.
- 12:21It's almost like when you have like a vision in a dream.
- 12:24Yeah, where it's just like airy and just like.
- 12:26I know what you mean.
- 12:27And I kind of describe this as like a handwriting.
- 12:30Like everyone's handwriting is different
- 12:32and you don't know why you do it but you just do it.
- 12:34So that's with my style of painting.
- 12:36Like the brush strokes are, they have like a force.
- 12:38There's like a freedom to them
- 12:40and then there's like a softness.
- 12:42I don't mean to do it.
- 12:43Comes out and I'll tell you something funny.
- 12:45I notice many times when I'm on Instagram,
- 12:47I can see people try to copy the handwriting.
- 12:50Interesting.
- 12:51And I'm like, no, no, do your own
- 12:52because it's yours coming through.
- 12:54It's your soul speaking.
- 12:55Don't copy mine.
- 12:56Does a bother you if somebody tries to copy?
- 12:57No, I just, I find it unfortunate.
- 12:59No, it bothers me if people copy the actual picture.
- 13:02Like I worked hard to come up with that whole idea.
- 13:05Like don't do that, that's wrong.
- 13:07But if you're copying my strokes, I just feel bad.
- 13:09Like no, get into your own zone.
- 13:12Like learn your own message, your own thoughts.
- 13:14You know what I mean?
- 13:15Yeah.
- 13:16That's the type of art to paint.
- 13:18My favorite type of art to paint?
- 13:20I don't know.
- 13:20I happen to love like floral.
- 13:22I love it.
- 13:23Yeah, I love flowers.
- 13:24I'm such a grandma.
- 13:25It's so hard though.
- 13:27Like unless you're doing something abstract,
- 13:29I love like, I love nature.
- 13:30Anything like animals, flowers, birds.
- 13:33Like I love painting that.
- 13:35Yeah.
- 13:36If I painted an animal,
- 13:37it's gonna look like a five-year-old drew it.
- 13:40Ha ha ha ha ha.
- 13:42So, yeah.
- 13:43Yeah, Ellie, you are an artist.
- 13:46You also read astrology.
- 13:49I do.
- 13:49And I don't know about anybody who's watching here,
- 13:52but growing up, we did not talk about astrology.
- 13:55It was, like in Beciacle,
- 13:57but if you started talking about your astrology time,
- 13:59people are like, oh my god, that's a vultus on wrong.
- 14:02Like what are you talking about?
- 14:04I've never opened my marriage.
- 14:05And like till this day,
- 14:07I have no idea what it means to be an Aquarius.
- 14:09And I remember when I married my first husband,
- 14:13somebody made a comment to be like,
- 14:14oh, what's his sign?
- 14:16I'm like, he's a Leo.
- 14:17And I don't remember if they were like trying to like,
- 14:19hold back, like saying something negative,
- 14:22but I'm just like, I don't know
- 14:25if I'm gonna like, listen to somebody
- 14:27based on like astrology signs.
- 14:29Maybe I should of, but like, maybe I should of.
- 14:32Can you explain like the importance or any relevant
- 14:38of it?
- 14:38I don't have because I don't think that you can know
- 14:41so much about just one sign.
- 14:43First of all, your, what your son sign
- 14:45is the tip of the iceberg.
- 14:46So wait, so we're gonna talk about me?
- 14:48We're gonna talk about you.
- 14:49Okay, we're gonna talk about me.
- 14:50It's just one, like you're an Aquarius son,
- 14:53but that almost means nothing
- 14:55because there's so much more that meets the eye
- 14:57within your whole birth chart.
- 14:59So if you do wanna know if you're compatible with somebody,
- 15:01you can, you just have to do a full birth chart reading
- 15:04to see all the placements and where they match up together.
- 15:07You know what I mean?
- 15:07Like when me and Nisanal got engaged,
- 15:10I was like, I went on Google because I was like,
- 15:12oh, let's just see what happens.
- 15:13Right.
- 15:14And I put in Pisces and Leo, I'm a Leo.
- 15:16Sorry.
- 15:17It's okay, we're not married.
- 15:19I don't know, like, you have like preconceived ideas,
- 15:23but everyone's so different.
- 15:24And my point is, first of all, that like,
- 15:26because we are all, you know, cooked up in a different way,
- 15:29that's how we can have infinite personalities.
- 15:31No one's the same.
- 15:32And it's like, you know, people are like,
- 15:33well, how could you believe in astrology?
- 15:35There's only 12 months there's only,
- 15:36but no, every single planet, it depends on what house it is,
- 15:40what sign, that's what gives you your unique recipe,
- 15:43your unique, like, set the stamp of your soul, you know what I mean?
- 15:48And so I put into Google, I was like, Pisces and Leo,
- 15:51like, do we match up?
- 15:52And everyone was like, no, like one star, like, don't do it.
- 15:56It's the worst, like, maybe it'll be good for a minute.
- 15:59Like, is there any truth to that?
- 16:02Yeah.
- 16:03So there is.
- 16:04I freaked out.
- 16:05I was like, what do I do now?
- 16:06Like, it's like, I'm a lion, he's a fish.
- 16:08The lion eats the fish, dumb, like, it's over.
- 16:11So it doesn't last long.
- 16:12So it's so funny, because I mean,
- 16:14I've been told by people, like, don't read, like, okay,
- 16:18I mean, I'm one of these old school people.
- 16:19I still love reading, like, Harper's Bazaar on Chavez.
- 16:22Like, that's literally like my vote, Harper's Bazaar, like,
- 16:26Chavez is like the time where like, I'm not really reading.
- 16:29I'm more looking at like the ads in the photos.
- 16:31Yeah, I'm not really like the biggest reader,
- 16:32I mean, like, whatever.
- 16:34Audio books are like more my thing.
- 16:36Same, same.
- 16:37Or someone can read to me, that's fine too.
- 16:39But I always like to read, like, the astrology portion.
- 16:44I don't know if they still do it, but like,
- 16:46growing up, I always read it.
- 16:47And I'm like, oh, my God, it knows me.
- 16:49And I'm just like, wait, it could be the most generic stupid
- 16:52thing that they wrote.
- 16:53And somehow I can like, relate to it.
- 16:56But like, everyone loves your brain wants to like, find the thing,
- 17:00you know?
- 17:01I know I'm gone.
- 17:02Oh, really?
- 17:03Yeah, we're like girls, like, we just like, oh, like stupid,
- 17:05you know, like, but there is so much truth.
- 17:09Like, like, Kate, can I just pull, should I pull up yours?
- 17:11Yes, tell you.
- 17:12I don't see that there's like a real.
- 17:13Someone told me, like, maybe I should ask if it's good or not,
- 17:17because you're like, if it's not good, you don't want to hear it.
- 17:19Nobody has like good or bad.
- 17:20It's like potential.
- 17:21It is what it is.
- 17:22OK, so you come across, everyone has a rising sign.
- 17:25It's how we come across to the world.
- 17:27So even though you're an Aquarius, you come across to the world,
- 17:31like a Capricorn.
- 17:32What does that mean?
- 17:32So it means that you are someone who is serious, capable, grounded.
- 17:39And you have like an intimidating aura to you, even?
- 17:42Hell yeah.
- 17:42Hell yeah.
- 17:43And they assume, people assume that, like, you're the boss.
- 17:47Like, you know what you're doing, OK?
- 17:50Sometimes though, you learn early that love or, like,
- 17:55whatever respect comes through responsibility.
- 17:59And so sometimes you have to, like, you can, like,
- 18:05overcarry things or, like, do too much
- 18:08to just, like, compensate for that.
- 18:10And you have to learn that you don't need a truck.
- 18:13You don't need to earn your right to exist.
- 18:14Like, you're just, you could just, you could soften more
- 18:17and, like, relax, OK?
- 18:19Now, your son's an Aquarius in your second house.
- 18:21We all have dip 12 houses.
- 18:22What?
- 18:23Whoa, OK, houses.
- 18:25So houses.
- 18:25So we all have 12 houses.
- 18:27Everyone in their chart.
- 18:28That's your chart's 12, right?
- 18:30The quotient had 12.
- 18:31It all goes back to, like, Torah.
- 18:33There's 12 sput-in, right?
- 18:35So there's 10.
- 18:36I'm, like, so not familiar with this.
- 18:38So this is, like, so new to me.
- 18:40Yeah.
- 18:40So when you said, like, oh my gosh, like, it's so taboo.
- 18:42Like, how do we talk about this?
- 18:44Like, we never, when we weren't allowed to.
- 18:45It's against Torah.
- 18:47No, it is Torah.
- 18:48Like, it's the most Torah.
- 18:50It's from the Torah.
- 18:51I'm saying when back in the day, everybody
- 18:53looked at the stars to know everything.
- 18:56So we just don't have the knowledge.
- 18:57And once the knowledge was, was, I guess, like,
- 19:00fizzled away from us.
- 19:01The Rebanim said, like, don't use it
- 19:02because we just didn't know enough.
- 19:05So, like, don't, you know what I mean?
- 19:07And it really, like, even Khannoflanar al-Pidarko,
- 19:10I don't remember which rub this was.
- 19:12But, like, maybe I think the villain of Gone
- 19:14said Khannoflanar al-Pidarko.
- 19:15And this is what he meant.
- 19:16Look at your kid's star sign, because then you can really
- 19:19know exactly how to give to which what, you know, everyone.
- 19:23Everyone's so new on.
- 19:24So we all have 12 houses.
- 19:26And there's also 12 signs.
- 19:29And wherever the signs land in that specific house
- 19:31will give that sign its own potency, its own, you know,
- 19:36feel and, like, recipe, whatever.
- 19:38So you can be in Aquarius all day long,
- 19:40but you're in Aquarius in the second house, which means
- 19:42you're going to be a different kind of Aquarius
- 19:44than someone that's in Aquarius in their ninth house.
- 19:46Because ninth house is the house of Sagittarius.
- 19:47You are in the house of Taurus.
- 19:49So you value money a lot.
- 19:52It's important to you.
- 19:53OK, second house.
- 19:55Second house is all about possessions and money and value
- 19:59and self-worth.
- 20:01So you're here to redefine what security looks like.
- 20:04You think differently about money and success.
- 20:07And you're not meant to follow the traditional path
- 20:10because they just exist, because you're in Aquarius.
- 20:13Aquarius is our unconventional.
- 20:15They're forward thinking.
- 20:16So you're taking money and switching it up, OK?
- 20:20Now you light up when you build something that's yours.
- 20:22And also the capricorn rising is somebody that's very
- 20:25serious and like, you're going to do something.
- 20:27You're going to see it till the end.
- 20:28So you have that plus the second house in Aquarius.
- 20:31You have Hashem puts certain co-hosts and certain tools
- 20:34in everyone's chart to do what they're supposed to do.
- 20:36So you're going to see a theme in your chart that
- 20:39makes sense for you.
- 20:40You know what I mean?
- 20:41It's very, very cool.
- 20:43Sometimes you could detach from your own worth
- 20:47or you undercharge or undervalue.
- 20:49And you need to learn the concept of self-worth
- 20:53in this lifetime so that you can really
- 20:55build the vessel and attract and claim
- 20:58for yourself true wealth.
- 20:59My husband's going to love this.
- 21:01Yeah.
- 21:02He's going to be like, well, do it with me.
- 21:03You see?
- 21:04I told you.
- 21:05Yeah, exactly.
- 21:06Well, you needed him.
- 21:07He's giving you that.
- 21:09Like, he's teaching you stuff for yourself.
- 21:10Well, it's so funny because now that I'm thinking about it,
- 21:13my husband and I were really opposites in most things.
- 21:17And when people say opposites attract,
- 21:22my husband and I were like, I think on the core values
- 21:28and foundation of our lives, we very much click on.
- 21:31But everything else that doesn't say really matter,
- 21:35we are so different, same, same, same.
- 21:40Literally, I was laughing when I heard the podcast
- 21:42with you and Zoli.
- 21:43I was cracking up because there's so many similarities.
- 21:46Like, it was just, yeah, I'm like, they should be friends.
- 21:51And now one more thing, I'm just going
- 21:52to go through the first three.
- 21:53And then the rest we could do later, because your moonsign,
- 21:56we all have our inner world.
- 21:58So our moonsigns are inner world.
- 22:00It's how we emote.
- 22:01So your moonsign is in Sagittarius.
- 22:03So you're a Sagittarius moon, but it's in your 12th house.
- 22:06So it's like 12th house is a little hidden.
- 22:08It's like, it's unseen.
- 22:09It's more mystical.
- 22:12So your emotional world is vast, but it's hidden.
- 22:16You feel deeply, but privately, you need solitude.
- 22:20And you need inner freedom to feel, OK, you are intuitive.
- 22:24You're emotionally wise beyond your words.
- 22:26And you absorb the collective emotions easily.
- 22:30You may sometimes escape, though, instead of feel.
- 22:33It's easier the 12th house people look at that.
- 22:35I escape half the time.
- 22:36Yeah.
- 22:37And you may sometimes like idealize pain or spiritualize it
- 22:43instead of processing it, OK?
- 22:45And your growth happens when you realize that your emotions
- 22:48aren't meant to be solved.
- 22:50They're just meant to be viewed.
- 22:53They're waves.
- 22:53They come and go.
- 22:54It's OK.
- 22:55And they're just meant to be honored and express safely.
- 22:59And yeah, there's so much more.
- 23:01There's like, it's so crazy that you're saying all this
- 23:03because I think half the things that you talk about,
- 23:06my husband and I talk about.
- 23:07Yeah.
- 23:07Without even realizing it.
- 23:09Right, right.
- 23:10So a lot of times, that means you're aligned.
- 23:12Because when you're on the right path,
- 23:13you're going to feel certain things that are supposed to come up.
- 23:16But like, OK, so you don't know the true terminology
- 23:19of the stars big deal, you know what I mean?
- 23:21But it's cool to just, first of all, have the validation.
- 23:24And it gives you so much permission
- 23:26when you see what's in your chart.
- 23:28And like, you have these ideas.
- 23:30We have these whispers.
- 23:32And we don't take ourselves seriously.
- 23:34Like, ah, who am I?
- 23:35Like, really, please, come on.
- 23:36Like, oh, that was just a thought, like, no.
- 23:38But then you see it in your chart and you're like, wait, what?
- 23:40I'm supposed to do this.
- 23:42Like, it makes you, like, just, it amplifies everything, you know?
- 23:46I just love doing that for people, like, giving them so much permission.
- 23:49Like, no, go for it.
- 23:50It's so funny.
- 23:51Because one thing that my husband and I
- 23:54are pretty different on is how we view our self-worth.
- 23:59And it's not a secret.
- 24:02But sometimes I have to tell my husband.
- 24:03I'm like, yes, you're amazing and you're talented.
- 24:06But like, sometimes, like, we need to just, like, cool it.
- 24:09It's OK to be a little humbled sometimes.
- 24:11And then when I do something and I, like, to him, which is, like, something
- 24:15like amazing, whether it's in business or whatever, I'm just, like, whatever, little me.
- 24:18I'm like, I feel like I'm still a kid.
- 24:21And he's like, no, like, should be proud of it.
- 24:23I'm like, whatever.
- 24:24Like, it's not like the biggest deal.
- 24:26Like, he'll try to tell me to, like, be more proud of myself.
- 24:29And I'll tell him, like, you need to calm down, like, take us see, bro.
- 24:34But, um, yeah, it's, like, it's so interesting.
- 24:37Yeah, we have to do a reading on him totally.
- 24:40I would, now that, like, you told me what I heard about myself, I can only imagine
- 24:44what you're going to say about him and I'm like, yeah, that's, that's accurate.
- 24:47Totally.
- 24:48So astrology and Judaism, when you started reading people's signs, did you get any sort
- 24:56of backlash on it?
- 24:57Yeah.
- 24:58But I think that also, first of all, the more you own something in yourself, the more
- 25:03people sense the authenticity and the confidence and they follow your energetic lead.
- 25:10So the more I owned it for me, the less lashback I've gotten.
- 25:14But in the beginning, the couple, the last couple of years, for the way I was into this
- 25:17in some 19 years old, since I found out about it, I was like, done, I'm hooked.
- 25:22Like, I don't, I'd never know anyone's name when I meet them.
- 25:26But like, tell me your, your birthday, I'll never forget.
- 25:28Like, I'll never forget.
- 25:30It's freaky.
- 25:31How did you even get into it?
- 25:32I don't know.
- 25:33I do it stupidly, like through Google.
- 25:34Like when I was 19.
- 25:35Yeah, I just like Google something.
- 25:37I was like, this is so cool.
- 25:38I just want to figure it out.
- 25:39I'm a super curious person.
- 25:41I'll go down any rabbit hole and I'll never come out for the next 12 hours.
- 25:44And so I did that.
- 25:45And then I would, I wrote down like all my friends and like their birthdays and I saw
- 25:49how like, it started really matching up.
- 25:50I was like, something's here.
- 25:52And when I was very, very young, like, even like four or five, I always thought like,
- 25:56like numbers were interesting, like patterns were very cool to me.
- 25:59Like different situations.
- 26:01I was always wondering why things were coming up.
- 26:04I was always also like looking out for just pattern recognition because like I had to
- 26:09learn that very fast, like how people are acting, why they're acting a certain way.
- 26:13I was always trying to like, you know, control my environment and make sure that I was safe.
- 26:19And so I was always trying to learn about people if somebody was this way, then that means
- 26:24that they're going to end up this way.
- 26:27And so I was into all different personality things just to understand my parents got divorced
- 26:31when I was 12 years old.
- 26:32And before that, it was not pretty.
- 26:35Like it was really, really, really messy and it was scary and it was like, it was like
- 26:38a movie.
- 26:39You know those movies where like you're just here yelling and that was how I grew up.
- 26:43So I was always trying to figure out people.
- 26:48And then when I figured out, when I finally stumbled into astrology, I was like, wow,
- 26:53like now it all makes sense.
- 26:54Like I could use this, like I could run with this.
- 26:57And I'm also somebody that's extremely hyper vigilant and I can go into a room and like
- 27:03know it in a second just because just from just from a trauma person, like just from safety.
- 27:09And so then when I got astrology, it became my superpower.
- 27:12I was like, oh my gosh, like this isn't readable.
- 27:15And I kept it to myself.
- 27:16I didn't tell anybody because it was just too weird, especially in our culture and nobody
- 27:19knew what I was talking about.
- 27:21And then the older I got, the more I realized, like, no, we really, we couldn't, we
- 27:24could use this.
- 27:25Like this is incredible.
- 27:27And I would tell my friends and my family and I would convert everybody like on the side,
- 27:31you know?
- 27:32And then just one day I realized like, no, I just need to start talking about this.
- 27:36Like the world is ready.
- 27:38And if they're not, I'm going to be, I'm going to make them.
- 27:40And I was very insecure about it and people did give me backlash and they were like, no,
- 27:44it's not Torah.
- 27:45What are you doing?
- 27:46And I started like fighting with them in DMs and I'm like, you know what?
- 27:49Effort.
- 27:50Like you don't get it.
- 27:51You don't get it.
- 27:52I'll talk to the people that do.
- 27:53I mean, I have never heard of like the first-dollar streetings all day long.
- 27:56Well, it sounds like, I mean, we grew up pretty much like in the same mainstream BCOCOL
- 28:02mentality and go in LA, right?
- 28:04Yeah, but BCOCOL is of at least.
- 28:06In LA is very stark.
- 28:07OK.
- 28:08The tights with the fastest button and if you go to college, right after high school, like
- 28:11really.
- 28:12Good luck finding a shidda.
- 28:13Oh, I didn't know.
- 28:14Oh, like when I skipped 12th grade and I didn't go to seminary, it was like, crazy.
- 28:18Oh my gosh.
- 28:19So I went straight from 11th grade to college.
- 28:21And I was supposed to go to a seminary.
- 28:24Glad I didn't go to the one I was supposed to go to.
- 28:27But it was not unheard of because there
- 28:32were a couple of girls that were a year
- 28:35at the grade above me that also skipped 12th grade.
- 28:39And either went to seminary or college.
- 28:42But I went from a super like Lake Woody environment
- 28:47where it was like, no, like you graduate 12th grade.
- 28:51Go to BJJ or Hadar.
- 28:53And then like, you know, like, like Michela was not even
- 28:57an option.
- 28:58It was modern.
- 28:59I'm serious.
- 28:59Oh my god.
- 29:00Like, there were a couple of girls from my grade who
- 29:02wanted to go there.
- 29:03And like, the school was like not a fan of it.
- 29:05I think they would have great recommendation letters
- 29:07for that.
- 29:08I do not know this.
- 29:09Oh, no, no, no.
- 29:10Because I went to Darcebina.
- 29:11So my late girls were like, you know, I thought that L.A.
- 29:16Well, that's you that's like the more modern high school.
- 29:19So like, these alcohol was like, like the Ula girls
- 29:22and these alcohol worlds, like they didn't really mesh.
- 29:24Like, sometimes they do, but like it wasn't like a thing.
- 29:27Got it.
- 29:28Like, yeah, I mean, I had friends in, in Ula,
- 29:33but like, two different worlds, two different worlds.
- 29:37Like, you're caught going to a movie theater in base alcohol?
- 29:40Like, you're out.
- 29:41Wow.
- 29:42You're talking to boys?
- 29:43You're out.
- 29:45Wow.
- 29:45Like, you want to like, not dress out to me as like,
- 29:48someone's going to have a spy on you.
- 29:50Like, really?
- 29:51Like, whatever.
- 29:52Not here to like, bash any school.
- 29:56But there's a reason why I left after 11th grade.
- 29:58Oh, my gosh.
- 30:01Oh, my gosh.
- 30:02But it's interesting about each of us
- 30:04in our own respect as we both got to a point in our lives
- 30:10where we don't really care what other people think, right?
- 30:15And it's such a beautiful thing.
- 30:17It's so beautiful.
- 30:18Dangerously, it's amazing.
- 30:20It's so freeing.
- 30:21It's so freeing.
- 30:22And I almost wish people would just
- 30:27get a taste of it.
- 30:28Like, there are people out there who
- 30:30are so afraid of what their neighbors are going to say,
- 30:33and what their mother is going to say.
- 30:36And they're so worried about everybody else
- 30:38that they put themselves last.
- 30:39I know.
- 30:40And listen, I'm not going to like be like,
- 30:41oh, just think for yourself, it's amazing.
- 30:44Like, there's obviously a reason why it's so terrifying.
- 30:46You know what I mean?
- 30:47And I tried to break it down because this is something
- 30:51that I thought about for a while.
- 30:52And I cared so much about what everybody thought for so long.
- 30:55And I was trying so hard to be everybody's version
- 30:59of what they wanted me to be.
- 31:00And then I broke it down, slowly, slowly.
- 31:03I realized I was doing it for me.
- 31:06I was doing it selfishly.
- 31:08I was doing it because I wanted to make sure
- 31:10that I would have a place on their table so that ultimately,
- 31:14I wouldn't be alone.
- 31:16So the truth is, and then to the day, we're just human.
- 31:19And like, we don't want to be feel abandoned.
- 31:21And that's the real reason of why we're so scared
- 31:23to go be our own human.
- 31:26I think a lot of people are very afraid of,
- 31:30could at the end of the day, whether you live in the five
- 31:33towns, you live in, I don't know, a community
- 31:37where it's pretty tight knit.
- 31:38Everybody knows everybody.
- 31:40People are afraid of stepping out, not
- 31:44of just their comfort zone, but something
- 31:46that isn't accepted or a community is not used to.
- 31:52I just don't know who made up the rules.
- 31:53So once I speak to the rulemaker, then I'll deal with it,
- 31:56and we'll have a conversation.
- 31:57But until then, I'm sorry, but I'm not subscribing,
- 32:01because why should I?
- 32:03That's what I want to know.
- 32:04You know what I mean?
- 32:05But it's not just like...
- 32:06Like, people come onto my podcast,
- 32:07they're like, am I allowed to say this?
- 32:09I'm like, who are you asking?
- 32:11Right.
- 32:13I was also like, podcasts are meant to be unfiltered.
- 32:15They're not meant to be.
- 32:17We're so used to like having rules.
- 32:18Like, there's always like a person authority, like...
- 32:20Well, when you grow up in a world where everything is a rule book
- 32:24and you're not really supposed to question why you do this,
- 32:28why you wear this, like, it's just ingrained in you.
- 32:31And so I agree, they know we're all civil.
- 32:33But that's where a lot of the guilt comes from.
- 32:35It's like, no, but like, I grew up a certain way.
- 32:38So if I grew up a certain way, and I don't even know why
- 32:40I'm doing this, or saying this, or going here, whatever,
- 32:44like, you feel like it's not, it's not,
- 32:48it's not like the norm.
- 32:50Right.
- 32:50It's where we're all like, totally after an hour.
- 32:53We're all a little brainwashed.
- 32:54We're all brainwashed.
- 32:55No, and like, that's just the reality.
- 32:57Like, we all, especially if you grew up in like,
- 33:00very mainstream, like, from like, black hat community,
- 33:04like, like, doing something that isn't done,
- 33:10and you being like a pioneer to do it.
- 33:13It's the scariest thing in the world,
- 33:14but then you slowly see people just like pick up on it.
- 33:19Yeah.
- 33:19And then now it's like becoming a game
- 33:22that everyone wants to make different.
- 33:23Yeah.
- 33:24No, but like, I would, like, play with my brain.
- 33:27I was like, okay.
- 33:28So what would happen if you go out a little like,
- 33:31so, okay, fine, so you wanted to see it at the table,
- 33:33but first of all, I realized that I never really had
- 33:35a seat at the table, like, you know what I mean?
- 33:37And then I was like, okay, so if these people
- 33:39are really not my people, and I feel so alone,
- 33:42even when I'm with them.
- 33:43So I'm kind of dying, and I'm dead.
- 33:46So going out and doing my own thing
- 33:48will be so scary that I'll die.
- 33:50So I'm basically dying twice.
- 33:52I might as well live.
- 33:54Okay.
- 33:54I actually posted a great clip last night
- 33:59in my stories.
- 34:01It's this attorney.
- 34:03He's like my favorite attorney on TikTok and Instagram.
- 34:07His name is James Sexton.
- 34:08I don't know if you know who he is.
- 34:09He's a divorced attorney.
- 34:10Yeah, of course.
- 34:11He's great.
- 34:11He's like great.
- 34:12He's great.
- 34:13So he had a great clip on TikTok, and he reposted it.
- 34:17And he was saying how long story short,
- 34:21in 100 years from now, everyone we know
- 34:23and love is gonna be dead.
- 34:25Like what you do now is going to be not very relevant.
- 34:30It doesn't exist unless you're inventing electricity
- 34:34or like doing something that is so monumental.
- 34:37Like maybe people will read about you in a history book,
- 34:40but like you being true to yourself
- 34:43and like doing what you love, it's not gonna hurt anybody.
- 34:47It's not gonna affect anybody.
- 34:48Exactly.
- 34:49But people are so in their brains.
- 34:51Yeah.
- 34:52Thinking, oh my god, like even though like I'm doing
- 34:55something that's not authentic, like I'm so free
- 34:58to like what someone's gonna say.
- 34:59Nobody, I wanna say nobody.
- 35:02Most people are not obsessed with other people
- 35:05as much as you are obsessed with yourself.
- 35:07And also the feeling for me of just being doing the wrong thing
- 35:10and feeling just so untrue to myself
- 35:12and lying to myself every single day was just too,
- 35:16it was too bad.
- 35:17Like it felt so gross.
- 35:18Like I couldn't do it anymore.
- 35:20So you have to feel your feelings.
- 35:22You have to know what you're thinking inside.
- 35:24Like so many of us are just pushing it away so far
- 35:26that we don't even know what we're even feeling.
- 35:29You know what I mean?
- 35:30Do you recall at like what age or what stage in your life
- 35:33you started feeling like I need to just break out
- 35:36of this little shell that I'm in?
- 35:37Well, I always felt it on some level
- 35:40because I started, when I started special ed,
- 35:42I knew that I was doing the wrong thing.
- 35:45And so yeah, I think that like the,
- 35:47the GPS was always telling us like make a user
- 35:50and make a user and make a user and it's up to you
- 35:51to decide when you're gonna actually listen or not.
- 35:54Yeah.
- 35:55Yeah.
- 35:56I think that that form of finding yourself
- 35:59is part of the process of healing.
- 36:04And there are plenty of people who are on these healing journeys.
- 36:10But so many people, their entire life is spent healing.
- 36:15When are they gonna live?
- 36:16And when do people start living?
- 36:18When do people go from the healing phase
- 36:21or do you believe that healing is just like always
- 36:24a work in progress?
- 36:27No, I happen to, so that's why I don't feel like I'm so much
- 36:31and even though I'm a coach,
- 36:32I'm not part of the healing community
- 36:34because I just don't believe in all of that.
- 36:37I find that a lot of times the ends of becoming a crutch
- 36:39and you're kind of in school
- 36:41and you're not actually on the field experiencing life.
- 36:43So yeah, you have to remember who you are,
- 36:47you have to release the things that are holding you back,
- 36:49but then you have to go and rise, you have to live.
- 36:52You can't just be just constantly in the state of healing
- 36:56because really you're lying to yourself, you're not living.
- 36:58Right, I mean, I know some people
- 37:01who are just consistently healing and it's always a journey.
- 37:05And it's like, at what point does trauma?
- 37:09And it could take years and it may take a lifetime,
- 37:12but there's always like, it's a decision.
- 37:15People who wanna ponder on the trauma
- 37:20or do they actually want to like,
- 37:23Hashem will help you on any part of your journey.
- 37:27So like if you want to actually live and live your best life,
- 37:29you have to just, I really believe you,
- 37:31you have to pray for you, you have to dab and pray for you,
- 37:32you have to be like, Hashem, just help me.
- 37:34So yeah, there might be that a certain times
- 37:36you have to release certain things or certain things will come up,
- 37:38but then you have to be able to live your life.
- 37:41Otherwise, you're just, what are you doing?
- 37:43Like, it's annoying.
- 37:44Right, right.
- 37:45I mean, I've heard Ayahuasca does wonders, I haven't done it.
- 37:48I haven't done it either, I'm too scared.
- 37:49Me too, I think I'm gonna talk to God if I did it.
- 37:52And I don't wanna talk to God,
- 37:53cause he'll be like, girl, we gotta talk.
- 37:55And I'll be like, I don't wanna, but I'm, no.
- 37:58You're gonna be fine.
- 37:59It's so funny, my husband keeps telling me,
- 38:00he's like, you have to try it, you have to try it.
- 38:02And I'm like, I don't know if I want to,
- 38:05cause I'm afraid of like realizing certain things
- 38:10or like, you could find a part of myself
- 38:12that I don't want to know.
- 38:14Like there's certain things I don't want to know in this world.
- 38:16You could also do Ayahuasca without doing Ayahuasca.
- 38:18Like if you go into certain meditations,
- 38:21you go into certain states, like you also see things.
- 38:24Like we all have the power to be psychic beings,
- 38:29we're just not, we're not rising enough in ourselves
- 38:34to let ourselves go there.
- 38:36But like everyone's like, oh, this mccable,
- 38:38he's such a dad, it's like, we put people
- 38:40on such pedestals, but we don't realize our own power
- 38:42that we have, we have so much in ourselves.
- 38:44So I don't think you need Ayahuasca to do that,
- 38:46but it's one modality, it's a tool to get there.
- 38:49I've done breath work before.
- 38:50Okay.
- 38:51Definitely made me trip like bad.
- 38:54Yeah, yeah.
- 38:55To a point where like I like snapped out of it
- 38:57and I was like, oh my God.
- 38:59Oh my God, right, I'm here, okay.
- 39:01Like I went to a breath work class with Mayor Kay.
- 39:04Oh, you did?
- 39:05I did.
- 39:05I'm on the beach.
- 39:07And it was like really nice.
- 39:09And I remember like he was, you know, talking whatever
- 39:11and I'm like really trying to focus
- 39:12and I like cannot focus with these things.
- 39:14And I'm like not like a girl who's like
- 39:16into these like breath work things.
- 39:18I'm not either.
- 39:19I invited me to come and I said, okay, like let's,
- 39:21like I'll give it a go.
- 39:22Why not check it out?
- 39:23And what was so funny is like, okay, I'm like doing it.
- 39:27And then like he starts talking.
- 39:28And he's like, think of something that made you really happy.
- 39:33And like the most random memory came up in my brain.
- 39:37It was with me and my grandparents
- 39:40like on like my like eighth birthday.
- 39:42So where like you need me from that.
- 39:44And like, I remember like we were at Toysa Russ
- 39:46and I remember my grandmother just like
- 39:48talking to me and like it was just like a very like pure memory.
- 39:54But it was like so embedded in the back of my brain.
- 39:57I was like, oh my God.
- 39:58And then he was asking questions like, you know,
- 40:01when was like you felt like the most safe or most happy?
- 40:04Wow.
- 40:05And I was just like these weird memories.
- 40:07And then I'm like, okay, like after like snap out of it,
- 40:09like I don't know if I want to go back there.
- 40:11Like I'm good.
- 40:12Like we're good.
- 40:14I never that a breath work.
- 40:15I never have to try it.
- 40:16I know I have to try it.
- 40:17I just I'm like you like I don't know if I'll be able to like really be in the zone.
- 40:20Like he has to be very good.
- 40:22So what's interesting is you can actually do breath work on your own.
- 40:27And a lot of times when I'm getting a facial,
- 40:30I will start doing like the breath work exercises.
- 40:33That's cool.
- 40:34Mid facial and I am like tripping balls in a facial.
- 40:38And I like and then like I'll like jump and like the lady like the
- 40:43Esthetician will be like are you okay?
- 40:44Yeah.
- 40:45Yeah.
- 40:46And like and I'll text my husband.
- 40:47I'm like I did bro.
- 40:48I just had the craziest trip feel like what happened but it's honestly for anyone watching.
- 40:54Try to do breath work mid facial.
- 40:55Oh, I'm going next week.
- 40:56It's amazing.
- 40:57I have to like there's like a sequence of like how you inhale and exhale.
- 41:00And like your brain just starts like working.
- 41:03It's magic.
- 41:04And I'm like I feel like I got a two for one because I'm like I'm getting my face done
- 41:08and then I'm getting my brain done.
- 41:10That's so cool.
- 41:11That's so crazy.
- 41:12Wow.
- 41:13Yeah.
- 41:14So something, something which I always find interesting and back to the conversation
- 41:24we were we were having about not caring.
- 41:27Yeah.
- 41:28You know, it's not just about like your personality and and what you do for work but
- 41:35it's also like socially community wise.
- 41:40When we start talking about dating marriage children, there's like kind of this expectation
- 41:45for people to do everything kind of cookie cutter.
- 41:50And socially we're expected to be a certain way emotionally we all obviously feel very
- 41:56different.
- 41:57Right.
- 41:58So do you have any words of advice being that you're a life coach on how to maybe get
- 42:07through the dating process, figuring out if you want to have kids in a certain time
- 42:13because there's a lot of social pressure.
- 42:16Yeah.
- 42:17So when we were messaging each other before, you know, we solidified filming this.
- 42:23You wanted to get into, you know, I do want to get married children.
- 42:29So like I have a friend, I'll just tell you I have a friend and she's an incredible
- 42:34business owner and she has a few kids and she was telling me she lives in a community
- 42:40that's very cookie cutter like you say or it comes across that way where there's so many
- 42:45supposed to and she's telling me how she she feels of pressure to have another kid but
- 42:50she comes home, she's out of the house, she comes home at six every day and her kids
- 42:54are being raised basically not with her and okay, that's that's how it is.
- 43:00It's life.
- 43:01It's hard.
- 43:02There's pressures.
- 43:03Whatever.
- 43:04And she wasn't even saying that she wants to have another kid because her soul yearns
- 43:08for another Nishama.
- 43:09She was just saying she feels pressure.
- 43:10I'm like, don't do it.
- 43:12I'm like stop, like don't, like what, why would you do that?
- 43:17Like you're the society community is not waking up for your baby at night.
- 43:22Like it's they're not going to be there for you.
- 43:25Like there's absolutely no reason.
- 43:27What would I say to people?
- 43:28I would say like think about the end result.
- 43:31Think about when it's done already.
- 43:33How are you going to be?
- 43:34How do you feel when that happens?
- 43:35Are you going to feel resentful?
- 43:36Are you going to feel happy?
- 43:38What's it going to bring to you?
- 43:39Because if the feelings are true, then go for it.
- 43:41What's your intention?
- 43:42Intention is the biggest thing.
- 43:43The energy that we have behind what we're doing will give our, give whatever we're doing
- 43:48the ammunition.
- 43:49Right?
- 43:50So if we're buying a house because our sister or our brother or our friend just bought
- 43:54a house and now we need one, the house is not going to have the true muzzle.
- 43:57But if you're buying a house because you want to host more, you want to, you know, you
- 44:00feel that your soul really can really live and flourish in a beautiful space.
- 44:05Go for it.
- 44:06You need it.
- 44:07So the intention behind what we do is so, so, so important.
- 44:10And we, so many of us aren't even thinking about anything.
- 44:14We're like automatic robots.
- 44:16So think about the end result.
- 44:17Think about how you're going to be when it's already done.
- 44:19And do you like that?
- 44:20Is that, it doesn't make you happy?
- 44:22Are you going to feel good if you're married at 21?
- 44:25And then you can't really go on vacation with your friends because you're married now.
- 44:29Like I get that you want to have the white dress and like the wedding and it's so cool
- 44:31and fun.
- 44:32But like after, guys, it's an eight hour party, Max, and it's honestly like the wedding.
- 44:37It's like it's a party.
- 44:38You want to have a party.
- 44:39Go through yourself an amazing 20, 21st birthday party.
- 44:42Totally.
- 44:43Like right.
- 44:44Don't get married for the party.
- 44:45If you want to be married and you've dreamt about being married, like me since you're
- 44:4712 years old and when your uncle got married, you cried because you were so jealous.
- 44:49And like you really just want to be married.
- 44:52Then get married at 21.
- 44:53You know what I mean?
- 44:54Like we're all so different, but like you really have, don't do something because your
- 44:57friends is doing it.
- 44:58Yeah.
- 44:59We don't all have to go to the bathroom together.
- 45:00Like you'll live by yourself.
- 45:01Right.
- 45:02Right.
- 45:03Oh my God.
- 45:04Now you're bringing me back to the time where it's like I never understood that concept of like
- 45:08when all the girls go to the bathroom together, it's like if someone needs to go pee, like
- 45:12let them go pee.
- 45:13Like why does it happen?
- 45:14Why do they have to have it?
- 45:15I'm so surprised.
- 45:16Like I always think like we were born alone.
- 45:18You come out of the womb alone.
- 45:19Like you're not coming out of the womb with your friends.
- 45:21Like nobody knows what they're doing.
- 45:22We don't know where we're going.
- 45:23We're all alone.
- 45:24And then we're going to die alone.
- 45:25Like I'm sorry, but like even if you really want to go with somebody, probably you're
- 45:28going to end up going on yours.
- 45:30So like not in a morbid way, but like in a very true way.
- 45:33Like why are we doing the middle with everybody when we're, you know what I mean?
- 45:37Like yeah.
- 45:38No, I think what people depend on a lot is like validation, community, which there is
- 45:44a level of, in like a social sense, like you need it.
- 45:48You need it to live.
- 45:49You need it to be sane.
- 45:51Like even like in the past couple of weeks, like I told my husband, like I need to go to
- 45:56shul because like shul is like where I'm mostly socialized.
- 45:59Like we don't live in a community where I have like, I have friends, but like not like
- 46:01tons of friends because Brickle is just not, it's not like Miami Beach, not like, you
- 46:06know, Bell Harbor, Bay Harbor Island, it's not, there's not like a huge Jewish community
- 46:10there.
- 46:11Um, partly that's why I like it because I kind of have my space.
- 46:15But like, you still need to have, that's how I am going to lie.
- 46:19So, you know, I, I think that like there is a very important aspect in being part of
- 46:25a community and having friends and a social life.
- 46:28And you know, I think if people are way too eccentric and they're way too out of the
- 46:32box, like some people might be like, Oh, like you're like an interesting character.
- 46:36Like it depends on like how eccentric and like what you're doing and how you present
- 46:40yourself and how you act and 100%.
- 46:42I know what you mean.
- 46:43Yeah.
- 46:44But in our minds, we should all be doing things because we were choosing it not because
- 46:48anybody else is choosing it, you know, yeah, I, it's, it's always an interesting topic
- 46:56when my husband and I discuss this sort of thing where it's like, we always wonder, it's
- 47:01like, why do people really care so much what other people think?
- 47:04Like, why it's not our business to know what other people think, right?
- 47:08If somebody is like, you problem, that's right.
- 47:09And also like, even like on Instagram, like people, right, like mean comments on like
- 47:14my clips, like, especially like these like 21 year old boys who like just got out of
- 47:18the show.
- 47:19Like, you have to like, you have to not, you have to not read those.
- 47:22Yeah.
- 47:23Those, those were, whatever, sometimes I respond, so like to have fun, like, I know me
- 47:27too.
- 47:28I can't help it.
- 47:29Like, sometimes like I like to troll the back and troll, you know, but it's like stupid
- 47:35wasted energy.
- 47:36But no, I'm with you.
- 47:38Yeah.
- 47:39So with, you know, I'm gonna go back on astrology because I wanted to ask you something
- 47:43and then we got into a whole long conversation.
- 47:46So there's meaning behind birthdays and we all have signs.
- 47:51Yes.
- 47:52Is there any connection to what somebody is named?
- 47:56Yeah.
- 47:57100%
- 47:58And is there a connection from the name to the birthday totally?
- 48:02And I don't know why that is.
- 48:03I mean, like, we have Nivua, I could tell you like specifically with my son, Alicia,
- 48:08when he was born, I just had this like urge to call him that.
- 48:12And then I checked out his name.
- 48:13We have a book of names at home.
- 48:15It's in Hebrew.
- 48:16So, probably can't recommend it, but it's a psychotic book and it's like so on.
- 48:20And I was reading his name and it said like all these cool things about him and how he's
- 48:24such a leader and he, you know, he's there, they'll be very good in business one day and
- 48:29like all these things.
- 48:30Okay.
- 48:31Then I checked out his birthday.
- 48:32He's born June 8th.
- 48:33Same thing.
- 48:34Like literally the same and then he, when he was born, he had like a lot of problems like
- 48:40so many, like just a lot, like tongue tie and he had tubes in his ear.
- 48:44He couldn't, he couldn't talk.
- 48:46He couldn't eat.
- 48:47He couldn't, everything he couldn't hear, everything was like a, like a problem.
- 48:51And the whole time while even till today, he's four and a half, even till today, I always
- 48:56think about what his name means and what his birthday.
- 48:58And I'm like, no, this kid's a giant.
- 49:00Like I'm raising a giant.
- 49:02Like I have to, isn't that crazy?
- 49:04Like I'm raising him backwards almost because I know that he's going to be beyond.
- 49:08Like I don't care about what the IEP says.
- 49:10I don't care about like, no, like it's like Einstein.
- 49:14Like that's how he was raised too.
- 49:16So like I do believe 100% that your name and your birthday, it matches up.
- 49:21It's like, it's your soul.
- 49:22It's your soul's, it's your soul's message.
- 49:24Right.
- 49:25Because what's interesting is when I, right before I was marrying Zoli, a friend of mine
- 49:31told me to come with her to like a very big rubber and see if the name's matched up.
- 49:36And I'm like, girl, I don't really know if I'm going to be able to do it.
- 49:38Off on this Reba's cup of tea, but sure, I'll come with you.
- 49:42I love it.
- 49:43I love how open you are.
- 49:44You know why?
- 49:45Because I'm like, if I get blessed and it works fantastic, if it doesn't, oh well.
- 49:49Okay.
- 49:50I love that.
- 49:51It doesn't hurt.
- 49:52I love that.
- 49:53So I went with her to this Reba.
- 49:54And I was like, okay, like obviously got to like dress appropriate, like whatever.
- 49:59And I gave him the name.
- 50:02And he's like, oh, your name is Hava Ora.
- 50:06It's your, what's your husband's name?
- 50:08And like, he's like, you saw a lot and like, nothing is wrong.
- 50:10He's like, that's it.
- 50:11Yeah.
- 50:12I'm like, it can't be that bad.
- 50:13Like, he's in the show.
- 50:14It's not like, uh, Moshe, it's the, like, there must be, there must be like a part of
- 50:21a name that I can work with because the previous one didn't work.
- 50:24And I think someone did say that my previous husband's name was a good match for me.
- 50:28So I'm like, I want to refund, but he was like, he's like, it's a good name.
- 50:33And then this, Reba was like, okay, it's your second marriage, okay, um, do you have kids?
- 50:39No.
- 50:40Does he have kids?
- 50:41Yes.
- 50:42Okay.
- 50:43And like, he was going through like everything and I'm like, okay, so like, do I have your
- 50:46approval?
- 50:47He's like, yeah, it's good.
- 50:48And I'm like, is it good because you're just saying it because we're already engaged and
- 50:51we're going to get married in like two weeks or like, it's good because like, it actually,
- 50:55it's good.
- 50:56And I also, and I believe I actually gave him our Hebrew birthdays and like he, it's
- 51:01crazy.
- 51:02You just, you know, but you think that it's magic.
- 51:05It's not.
- 51:06It's a science.
- 51:07They're doing it based off of every single letter, the way it's shaped, what the letters
- 51:11represent.
- 51:12There's an every olive base holds an energetic frequency.
- 51:15So when you put it together in a certain way, how does it all mesh up together?
- 51:18They just know that.
- 51:19So they see it so clearly.
- 51:20You know, we could all learn it.
- 51:22Um, birthdays also, they know the number of the time, like they, that you can understand
- 51:26based on, if you know it so well, where the rising, where the moon was, where, you
- 51:30know, if you can memorize these things, I'm not.
- 51:33I didn't, but like, you, people do it, you know, yes, I, I totally agree with you.
- 51:39It's funny.
- 51:40There's one pussuck.
- 51:41Now I'm getting all like, whatever here.
- 51:44There's always one pussuck, um, actually we say it during Abdullah.
- 51:49I don't know what it is, but ever since I was a kid, I just always like, made sure to
- 51:54say it and enunciate it, like, who dim, heisa, or asim, khabas, asim, my middle name
- 52:00is, my middle name is, oh, but I, it sounds stupid, but I never really put the two to
- 52:06two together.
- 52:07Oh, wow.
- 52:08That is part of my name.
- 52:10Oh, wow.
- 52:11And I say it every Saturday night, and whenever Zoli makes up, I'm like, you need to give
- 52:16me like a full minute to, like, let me say this out loud and he finds it, like, so
- 52:21funny.
- 52:22Zoli, you realize that that's part of my name, and for some reason, I just really connect
- 52:27with it.
- 52:28That's so cool.
- 52:29Right.
- 52:30So it's, it's there.
- 52:31We don't know.
- 52:32We just don't realize what everything is spiritually, but we're spiritual beings before
- 52:35we're physical beings.
- 52:36And like, yeah, we, we know things.
- 52:38Absolutely.
- 52:39We just know.
- 52:40Like, women's intuition.
- 52:41We just know.
- 52:42Yeah.
- 52:43So cool.
- 52:44Okay.
- 52:45So we're going to start wrapping up, but I definitely want to leave our viewers off
- 52:50with some of your wisdom.
- 52:53That's nice.
- 52:54What permission do you want women to take for themselves, you know, as, as we're getting
- 53:02older, as girls are getting married, what is something that they should be allowed
- 53:07to let themselves do?
- 53:10What permission?
- 53:11Huh.
- 53:12I have to think I, I for sure know this, but I, I want people, I want women to remember
- 53:20really who they are, like not what everyone's telling you to be, but like when you close
- 53:25your eyes at night, and when you think to yourself, oh, in another life, I would love
- 53:28to do that.
- 53:29Like, yeah, that, no, no, make it this life.
- 53:31Like that's what I give yourself permission to do that.
- 53:34And is there any beliefs you wish you can unlearn?
- 53:39Yes.
- 53:40So many.
- 53:42And the way to, I don't know what the beliefs are because there's so many of them, but
- 53:46the way I unlearn them is by, I put on these, like, cool, like affirmation podcasts before
- 53:52I go to sleep at night, and before I wake up in the morning, like as I'm, and you're like
- 53:55in, you're like in that half, like, zone, like in that beta state, that's when the, you
- 54:00can really rewire your subconscious brain.
- 54:02And my subconscious brain is so full of caca, like I don't even know how to say, like there's
- 54:08just so much, like who do you think you are?
- 54:10And like, you know, you should stay little, you should, you should, you should be humble,
- 54:14like so many things that are in there, like, and that you really have to, you, there's
- 54:19no way to really stop the music because it's always going.
- 54:24So you just have to change the tune and the way you do that is by rewiring your subconscious
- 54:28brain.
- 54:29Yeah.
- 54:30It's interesting because I think I had to unlearn so much, not just from my, like, upbringing
- 54:37and, and being in like a certain type of school, but on, like, unlearning, like, you have
- 54:44to be liked, you have to feel validation to have, like, self worth, you have to, and it's
- 54:50not that we learned that that's what you need, but it was almost like, well, how else am
- 54:55I going to get that?
- 54:56Like how else am I going to feel validated if other people don't?
- 54:59Well, I'm going to go validate myself, and especially for girls who are young and in
- 55:03high school, like, there's social pressure, there's things that, you know, they, they
- 55:10feel they need in order to, like, get through life.
- 55:15And I think as everyone gets older, we start to realize, like, we don't really need that
- 55:19sort of validation.
- 55:20Like, the validation that comes from ourselves, and like, we can appreciate ourselves and
- 55:24value our own opinions and value what we want out of life.
- 55:28I also think that the more about, the more you need something, when it becomes a need,
- 55:33when you're just trying to get validation from other people, Hashem will keep pushing it
- 55:36away, because then you're working from an empty cup, and no matter how much you fill
- 55:40it, there's holes.
- 55:41So the water's just going to keep filling out, because you're just going to need the next
- 55:44dopamine hit, and you're going to need the next, you know, the next void to be filled.
- 55:47So like, that's what I realized for myself in my life.
- 55:50Like the more I would close up my holes, and then start, you know, patching up whatever
- 55:55and put in my own, get high on my own supply, and really love myself totally and completely
- 56:02externally of everybody, and I even had to let some people go, because I realized that
- 56:06they really weren't serving me, and I realized that it's better to be alone than to be with
- 56:12people that are making me go further from my truth, and then you just really fill up
- 56:17yourself with your own love, every single person that comes in gets so attracted to you,
- 56:22because you're vibing so high, and you know, you don't need anything from them.
- 56:27Everything that they're giving you is just a cherry on top.
- 56:30You're good automatically, you're good, you're good forever.
- 56:33That's when Hashem will send you the validation, that's when you'll get what you want.
- 56:36When you absolutely, positively, don't need it.
- 56:39Yeah.
- 56:40What's interesting is what you said was, it's better to be alone.
- 56:43Yeah.
- 56:44So I always say this, it's always better to be alone than want to be alone.
- 56:49So whether you're in an unhealthy relationship, or you have friends that don't serve you
- 56:57well, or maybe you're in a community that doesn't serve you well, sometimes it will hurt
- 57:03you so much more than actually just being on your own.
- 57:07Exactly.
- 57:08And it's okay to be on your own, but I mean, I'm not going to talk about me and my post
- 57:14divorce life, but it was so hard for me to be alone.
- 57:17Yeah.
- 57:18And also it's like, I always have this need to do things for somebody, and it's like,
- 57:23oh my god, like, Shob is like, who am I cooking for?
- 57:26Like what?
- 57:27I have to like invite like 10 people over, and like I had to not use friends, but in order
- 57:32for me to like feel this certain level, like happiness within myself, I needed to like
- 57:36be validated by having guests over Friday night and shop stay, but Hashem was showing
- 57:40you that a certain part of your soul needed to be healed in this way.
- 57:43And then I got used to being alone, and then I loved it, and then I got married, I don't
- 57:47like Zoli, you're going to go to New York this week for a week, right?
- 57:49I could use my alone time, I love being alone.
- 57:54What is one truth women should stop apologizing for?
- 57:59I think one truth that women should stop apologizing for is this concept of feeling selfish,
- 58:07because I think that in our from world, a woman is valued by how much Chesa she does,
- 58:12and how much she's giving to others, and what she's doing, and who, and you know, when
- 58:17where it's again, it comes back to intention.
- 58:20What's the intention behind it?
- 58:21Because if you feel burnt out, and if you if your cup is not full and you really can't
- 58:25pour into somebody else's, then by going and doing more and more, you're actually like
- 58:33totally being selfish.
- 58:35That's the ultimate selfish because you're trying to get more validation, to be more
- 58:39like to be one at a, when the end of the day, maybe, maybe you should say no, you know,
- 58:44that will make you more for yourself, and even though it seems selfish, it's the most
- 58:49not.
- 58:50It's the most self-love that you can give yourself in the moment.
- 58:51I want women to know this so badly, like that, you know, we really just have to think
- 58:57first, and it's like, it made a nearly mealy, right?
- 59:00It made a, it made me laugh at me money, but that comes second.
- 59:04We first have to know who we are for ourselves.
- 59:07It's so funny, because I always tell this to my mother, and I think my mother is at that
- 59:11point in her life where she's like, you know, I raised nice kids.
- 59:16Your adults, you can make Yantif, and I agree with her.
- 59:19Like, there, there comes a point where mothers, sisters, wives, they need a break.
- 59:28They don't always need a host, they don't always need to be there for everybody, and sometimes
- 59:32it's okay to like take a seat, chill out, you don't always have to host every Friday night.
- 59:38You don't always have to, you know, go do extra chasad, and get yourself burnt out,
- 59:44and then you can't be the best person to wait for yourself.
- 59:46And we think that's the only way that we're going to become more altruistic, more better,
- 59:51you know, better people.
- 59:52Like, it's okay to say, no, sorry, I'm not interested in hosting people.
- 59:56And I have learned in the past year, like, if I feel like I can't be like the best wife
- 1:00:05for, like, my husband, and not give him the attention he needs, because I barely talked
- 1:00:10to him during the week.
- 1:00:11And Chavis is literally the only time where we have, like, real conversations, like, even
- 1:00:14during the week.
- 1:00:15Like, his phone.
- 1:00:16That's true.
- 1:00:17So, like, for him to not get my full attention, and like, we can have, like, a proper,
- 1:00:22you know, conversation over a nice office meal, like, I don't want to not give that to
- 1:00:26him, because I feel like I have to go, you know, sacrifice myself for people in the
- 1:00:31community.
- 1:00:32You were just like, okay, come for a Friday night dinner, like, no, I'm going to put
- 1:00:35him first.
- 1:00:36I'm going to put me first.
- 1:00:38And when you build, when you build that healthy foundation at home, and like, once you
- 1:00:44know, like, you have boundaries with other people, I feel like that people also look at
- 1:00:50you and be like, oh, like, I respect that totally.
- 1:00:52Totally.
- 1:00:53Totally.
- 1:00:54I love that.
- 1:00:55Okay.
- 1:00:56Yally, it was so nice having you on Caller Tati.
- 1:00:59This was so much fun.
- 1:01:01This was great.
- 1:01:02I enjoyed it every minute.
- 1:01:03I knew I would.
- 1:01:04I'm going to have to have my husband's birthday situation, astrologize.
- 1:01:11I don't know how the word is.
- 1:01:13Send it my way.
- 1:01:14We'll get it taken care of.
- 1:01:15I feel like I should write down things that I'm going to predict, and we'll see if I'm
- 1:01:18right.
- 1:01:19Oh, them.
- 1:01:20All right.
- 1:01:21Bye, bye.
- 1:01:22Bye, guys.
- 1:01:23We'll see you next time.
