- 1:08Speaker 3: I was walking up the hill today to work.
- 1:09Speaker 4: The sweat was fair peessing off there it was pearsing
- 1:13Speaker 4: off me, kid a keezy, you're looking a bit shambock
- 1:16Speaker 4: today Big Night?
- 1:16Speaker 5: Was it just to let everyone know that Jason's in
- 1:19Speaker 5: a horror of the mood. So just gonna get that
- 1:21Speaker 5: out of the way early, Okay. So just if you're
- 1:24Speaker 5: listening and you're thinking, wow, Jason's a bit off, Yes, correct,
- 1:26Speaker 5: he's a horror of the mood and he's taking it
- 1:29Speaker 5: out on other people. I'm actually not shambala Jason. I'm
- 1:31Speaker 5: in a great mood. I've been painting all day out
- 1:33Speaker 5: in the sun. It's been a very productive day and
- 1:36Speaker 5: I came in here in high spirits.
- 1:37Speaker 3: Yeah, great to say.
- 1:38Speaker 1: And you're not gonna let jas get you down. Now
- 1:40Speaker 1: you're trying not to get good.
- 1:41Speaker 4: I'm totally don't let me get you down, because, yeah,
- 1:44Speaker 4: I'm the same man. I'm having a great old day
- 1:46Speaker 4: man wondering the city, had a nice lunch with my wife.
- 1:50Speaker 3: I'm fizzhing.
- 1:51Speaker 4: I am absolutely fizzing for the show.
- 1:55Speaker 3: Speaking of which, what's happening on it, Mogi?
- 2:01Speaker 7: What's happening on the Big Show with Old Movie?
- 2:04Speaker 1: Well, she is an absolute monster and absolutely humongous show.
- 2:10Speaker 1: Today we will be putting our very first entrance into
- 2:15Speaker 1: the drawer for the Magic Round competition. We want to
- 2:19Speaker 1: go over to Magic Round in May this year to
- 2:21Speaker 1: see the Wires play along with every other team except
- 2:24Speaker 1: for one alongside that, Jace, you have a problem giving
- 2:28Speaker 1: bad reviews, man, I do. Actually, yeah, we might talk
- 2:32Speaker 1: about that or now. I don't know if everyone was
- 2:35Speaker 1: listening to the show out there yesterday, but Jace got
- 2:37Speaker 1: a beautiful compliment from a mad woman and it sounds
- 2:40Speaker 1: like it might have happened again. Okay, And coming up
- 2:47Speaker 1: next we'll be talking about weird investments for nerds easy.
- 2:51Speaker 1: I don't know if we've got a sting for it.
- 2:52Speaker 5: No, it's not for nerds. It's just a big pole,
- 2:55Speaker 5: not even a big pole really, just interesting. Does anyone have,
- 2:58Speaker 5: like any things that they've invested in that they've got
- 3:00Speaker 5: away in the cupboard safe keeping earning value?
- 3:03Speaker 8: You know?
- 3:03Speaker 4: Yeah, Game of two has money obviously, h yees hey.
- 3:10Speaker 2: The Hdiarchy Big Show weekdays from four on Radio Hodarky.
- 3:14Speaker 4: Yes, indeed, green day there on the Radio Hodarky Big
- 3:17Speaker 4: Show this Thursday, the afternoon. The time is fourteen minutes
- 3:21Speaker 4: past four o'clock. Now on the Big Show, we try
- 3:23Speaker 4: and change it up every now and then, you know,
- 3:26Speaker 4: put something different into the show.
- 3:28Speaker 3: Keep ourselves bright.
- 3:29Speaker 4: And alert and interested, cutting edge, cutting edge stuff. And
- 3:32Speaker 4: Keezy he's been working on this idea.
- 3:36Speaker 3: For a long time.
- 3:37Speaker 4: He's been putting it in the Chat for about the
- 3:38Speaker 4: last three weeks. And it's a new segment called Kesy's
- 3:43Speaker 4: Wacky Investments.
- 3:44Speaker 5: No, it's not, it's not at all what this is.
- 3:47Speaker 1: Originally it was nerd shit with me, Keasey.
- 3:51Speaker 5: What this is is yesterday we had Liam Dan, business
- 3:54Speaker 5: editor at Large for The Herald, and we're talking about
- 3:56Speaker 5: stocks and property, and you know, with the tumultuous time
- 4:00Speaker 5: in the marketplace to the market in the entire world,
- 4:03Speaker 5: investments can be it can be nervous, especially with stuff
- 4:06Speaker 5: like Kiwi Saber going up and down and all over
- 4:08Speaker 5: the place. Same with stocks. And then I said, what
- 4:10Speaker 5: if you're investing in alternative sort of stuff. Yes, for example,
- 4:14Speaker 5: I said Lego and he said, oh, I've got a
- 4:17Speaker 5: friend that does that, and it's yeah, Lego can be
- 4:18Speaker 5: a very good investment. And then I came out and said, well,
- 4:20Speaker 5: actually I the other day purchased a Lego set as
- 4:24Speaker 5: well for the for the sole intention of it going
- 4:27Speaker 5: up in value, right, okay, And you guys massively turned
- 4:31Speaker 5: on me so didly and down. Actually it was really
- 4:32Speaker 5: horrible flipped things on me there.
- 4:35Speaker 1: It's hard though, when you get a nerd in the room,
- 4:38Speaker 1: because you also did say kesy because it was a
- 4:40Speaker 1: decision that you made with your wife there, and you
- 4:43Speaker 1: said that your major consume with his investment is that
- 4:47Speaker 1: one night you would come home hammered and get it
- 4:49Speaker 1: out of the box and play with it. Did you
- 4:51Speaker 1: say that one hundred percent?
- 4:53Speaker 4: I said that that is the issue because with those
- 4:56Speaker 4: sort of investments, part of it is is that you
- 5:00Speaker 4: brand new and you don't touch it right, correct, and
- 5:02Speaker 4: you wrap it up. You and your wife had some
- 5:04Speaker 4: fierce discussions about how you are going to store it.
- 5:08Speaker 5: Look, yes, we one hundred percent did. The way this
- 5:11Speaker 5: happened is and look, most people listening right now will
- 5:14Speaker 5: be like, God, you're stupid, why are you doing this?
- 5:18Speaker 5: Whereas some people that do know I am in my
- 5:21Speaker 5: mid thirties and when I was a child, Pokemon stuff
- 5:25Speaker 5: was like what my entire life was based around. Now
- 5:27Speaker 5: that I'm in my mid thirties, everything with Pokemon on
- 5:30Speaker 5: it from when I was a kid is worth a
- 5:31Speaker 5: billion dollars. So they made a limited edition giant Lego
- 5:36Speaker 5: set of Pokemon that was limited edition and you had
- 5:39Speaker 5: to buy it straight away. And I said to my
- 5:41Speaker 5: wife as a joke, we should invest in this again.
- 5:45Speaker 5: I sit in an alarm to go off when the
- 5:47Speaker 5: set released online and I texted her. I was like, hey,
- 5:50Speaker 5: so if you actually want to do this thing, we'd
- 5:52Speaker 5: have to buy it right now, no pressure, I don't care.
- 5:54Speaker 5: And then she goes, yeah, stuff, let's do it. Let's see.
- 5:57Speaker 5: And so we bought it and it's huge, and it's
- 5:58Speaker 5: in our living room right now, this giant box. The
- 6:02Speaker 5: issue is I have to store it and not touch it.
- 6:04Speaker 3: And you know what I mean, Like, how much money
- 6:06Speaker 3: are we talking here?
- 6:07Speaker 5: Twelve hundred dollars twieve hundred dollars.
- 6:10Speaker 1: New Zealand dollars correct, Wow, one hundred percent.
- 6:13Speaker 5: It's a huge. It's the biggest investment that I've never
- 6:17Speaker 5: bought anything for the sole purpose of trying to make
- 6:19Speaker 5: money off. Yeah, but my excuse was I everything that
- 6:24Speaker 5: is now worth thousands of dollars I used to have
- 6:26Speaker 5: as a kid, and now I don't know where any
- 6:27Speaker 5: of it is. And people are making money off it,
- 6:30Speaker 5: and so I was like, stuff, this is my chance
- 6:31Speaker 5: to maybe make some money off this franchise.
- 6:34Speaker 1: Well, people will be. I'm just filthy that I didn't
- 6:37Speaker 1: know about it.
- 6:38Speaker 3: I'll give you twelve fifty for it now, Keezy.
- 6:41Speaker 5: No, Jason, absolutely not. There are sets right now seventy five,
- 6:46Speaker 5: absolutely not. And it came with a bonus little set
- 6:49Speaker 5: that you only got for pre ordering it, and that
- 6:50Speaker 5: alone is worth three hundred bucks. So I'm I'm in
- 6:54Speaker 5: the greenie.
- 6:54Speaker 1: You are killing that, bro. Yeah.
- 6:56Speaker 4: And then you chuck in your or you're in your
- 7:00Speaker 4: house investments or your apartment blocks and stuff.
- 7:03Speaker 5: I'll we bring it this back.
- 7:06Speaker 4: Yeah, you must be you know what I would thinking
- 7:10Speaker 4: the next time we have a big show, Carry night,
- 7:13Speaker 4: old money bags investment boy keys, he's going to play.
- 7:19Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 7:19Speaker 5: And plus the huge inheritance of getting when my parents
- 7:22Speaker 5: sell the plantation, that's why, right, Yeah. And so to
- 7:26Speaker 5: be honest, it's a chup change.
- 7:27Speaker 4: It is because they've got like fifteen plantations around them,
- 7:30Speaker 4: just dotted around, don't they. I have no idea must
- 7:34Speaker 4: I'm quite intrigued by this.
- 7:36Speaker 1: Well, I am interested to know what other sorts of
- 7:38Speaker 1: things people yeah.
- 7:39Speaker 5: And because this because I was actually chating about it
- 7:42Speaker 5: on my gaming podcast and I was like talking about
- 7:44Speaker 5: how it would be funny to actually buy one, and
- 7:46Speaker 5: so I just floated it with my wife and she said, yeah, kay,
- 7:48Speaker 5: let's do it. I was like, okay, sweet, So now
- 7:50Speaker 5: we are Lego investors. We're going to buy a little
- 7:52Speaker 5: storage box, put it in that, and then maybe sell
- 7:55Speaker 5: it in five years. So I've got no idea, but
- 7:58Speaker 5: I think it's funny regardless.
- 8:00Speaker 4: You think your lever will hold out that long? What
- 8:02Speaker 4: do you mean or just with the Bezi's and stuff.
- 8:06Speaker 5: Oh if not, my wife can still sell it.
- 8:08Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, that's true.
- 8:09Speaker 5: I'm just trying to build generational wealth here.
- 8:10Speaker 8: Man.
- 8:11Speaker 5: Yes, I could give it to my grandkids. They could
- 8:13Speaker 5: sell it.
- 8:14Speaker 1: You know what it sounds like to me, Jason. I
- 8:17Speaker 1: don't know for sure, but it sounds like Kezy is
- 8:19Speaker 1: passing off this off as an investment when really it's
- 8:22Speaker 1: a present for little baby Keezy.
- 8:24Speaker 5: It's not a present for baby Keys. By the way,
- 8:28Speaker 5: what have you invested in anything weird like that? Three
- 8:30Speaker 5: four eight, three flickers of text. You can win fifty
- 8:32Speaker 5: bucks straight away thanks to toledos.
- 8:34Speaker 3: He's Queens to the Stone Age, The.
- 8:39Speaker 2: Hold Aching Big Show with Jason, Mike and Kezy. Tune
- 8:42Speaker 2: in week days at four on Radio hold.
- 8:44Speaker 3: Ikon Hin Pearl Jam.
- 8:46Speaker 4: There on the Radio Hodarky Big Show this Thursday afternoon.
- 8:50Speaker 4: Now keep your phones handy because coming up next, by
- 8:54Speaker 4: the way, is your chance to get in the drawer
- 8:55Speaker 4: to join the fellers at Magic Round and Brizzy.
- 8:59Speaker 5: That's right, first cuticle will be playing inside the next
- 9:02Speaker 5: thirty minutes. When you hear it, I'll wait one hundred
- 9:04Speaker 5: Hodarchy Boom, get yourself in the drawer. We'll do a
- 9:07Speaker 5: bit of a blitz. I think we'll put a few
- 9:08Speaker 5: people in.
- 9:09Speaker 3: Yeah, I think so. That's a great idea.
- 9:11Speaker 5: W'ch hadding interesting investments, not stocks, not real estate, none
- 9:15Speaker 5: of that boring stuff. Interesting stuff that you've got tucked
- 9:18Speaker 5: away in the cupboard there. This is after I convinced
- 9:20Speaker 5: my wife somehow that we should invest in a limited
- 9:22Speaker 5: edition lego Pokemon set. Now this is on the back
- 9:26Speaker 5: of and people my age will know this. Someone sold
- 9:29Speaker 5: a Pokemon card from the nineties the other day for
- 9:32Speaker 5: sixteen million New Zealand dollars or something. Maybe it was
- 9:35Speaker 5: US dollars.
- 9:36Speaker 8: Wow.
- 9:37Speaker 5: This is a card that I didn't have that exact one,
- 9:39Speaker 5: but I had very similar ones and it was worth
- 9:42Speaker 5: sixteen mil. It's ridiculous how much these things have skyrocketed
- 9:46Speaker 5: and value.
- 9:47Speaker 3: I'm not sure.
- 9:50Speaker 6: What.
- 9:50Speaker 4: Well, it's just, you know, I don't know that I
- 9:53Speaker 4: could have really afforded it.
- 9:55Speaker 3: Really I shouldn't have spent sixteen mil on it?
- 9:57Speaker 5: But odd did you buy it?
- 9:58Speaker 1: Yes? What card?
- 9:59Speaker 3: Was it? Padden?
- 10:02Speaker 5: So on three four eight three. You've got people to
- 10:04Speaker 5: text through interesting things that they have invested in that
- 10:08Speaker 5: they hopefully plan to make money on, and it's great.
- 10:11Speaker 5: This is a this is an interesting one too. My
- 10:13Speaker 5: wife got a first edition Harry Potter set and when
- 10:16Speaker 5: we cleared out her parents' house, the very first print
- 10:19Speaker 5: of the Harry Potter books are worth an absolute bomb. Now,
- 10:21Speaker 5: it's crazy. They donated the books to the local library.
- 10:24Speaker 5: A year later, the set was worth one hundred thousand dollars. Wow,
- 10:28Speaker 5: it's because what it is is those things that people
- 10:31Speaker 5: my age grew up with and now we're you know,
- 10:34Speaker 5: we're able to afford it now that we've been working
- 10:36Speaker 5: for ten plus years, all those things go up massively
- 10:39Speaker 5: in value. It's crazy.
- 10:41Speaker 4: Yes, It's crazy that would pass you off, wouldn't it
- 10:43Speaker 4: if you donated it to a library and it's worth
- 10:45Speaker 4: one hundred k one hundred percent.
- 10:47Speaker 5: Hamish is invested in vinyls car Lego as well at
- 10:51Speaker 5: late nineties Honda Tornio. He's he's going to park that
- 10:55Speaker 5: up for a few years and then sow that off
- 10:56Speaker 5: for a bomb.
- 10:57Speaker 4: You will make sure it's not on the street and
- 10:58Speaker 4: will have a moji on his hands and get.
- 11:00Speaker 1: Toed And exactly right. I mean I put my I
- 11:04Speaker 1: bought my equa about five years ago. I don't know
- 11:08Speaker 1: what it's worth now. Well, actually I docks you're aqua.
- 11:12Speaker 1: But the thing with the count sold.
- 11:14Speaker 5: It, it's not a good investment because like if you've
- 11:17Speaker 5: been a.
- 11:17Speaker 1: Very very very good investment.
- 11:20Speaker 5: But what I was going to say, what I was
- 11:21Speaker 5: gonna say is because there's so many aqua aquas aqua,
- 11:25Speaker 5: you know you need limited a run sort of sort
- 11:28Speaker 5: after stuff. Not that it's not sort of entirely sought
- 11:30Speaker 5: after because it gets stolen so much.
- 11:31Speaker 3: And it's got brown leather seats.
- 11:33Speaker 5: Totally. It wasn't that your teeter Glenn invests in whiskey barrels.
- 11:37Speaker 5: Oh yes, I've heard of people doing that.
- 11:39Speaker 9: You buy a barrel of whiskey, yeah somewhere, Oh so
- 11:44Speaker 9: with whiskey in it, correct, sell the whiskey off because
- 11:48Speaker 9: the whiskey goes up and value the older it is
- 11:51Speaker 9: big red. Here, he's got to signed Richie mccare head
- 11:53Speaker 9: gear that he gave to Wow, that'll be worth a bit.
- 11:55Speaker 9: I don't know if I can ever part with it,
- 11:57Speaker 9: so it is hard to say if that is worth
- 11:59Speaker 9: something or not.
- 12:00Speaker 1: Well, the thing about it is it's only decided, like
- 12:02Speaker 1: all of this stuff, if someone's stupid enough to buy.
- 12:05Speaker 3: It, right, Yes, as long as.
- 12:07Speaker 1: As a buy that's right. So the market decided. So
- 12:10Speaker 1: somebody could go along and be absolutely desperate for that
- 12:13Speaker 1: Richie McCaw headgear and be willing to pay anything for it.
- 12:17Speaker 1: A huge market.
- 12:18Speaker 4: Besides, what about fellas, We you know, sign some stuff
- 12:22Speaker 4: and then in ten you know, and we bet it off,
- 12:26Speaker 4: and then in ten years someone could buy it off
- 12:28Speaker 4: the person that bought it off us for like ten
- 12:32Speaker 4: times the value that they paid for it.
- 12:34Speaker 1: Like what so when we do our backbone T shirt
- 12:37Speaker 1: and we signed them for free, you're saying that it
- 12:39Speaker 1: could be ten times that.
- 12:41Speaker 3: Well in like ten years time.
- 12:42Speaker 5: What's ten times zero? I can't my brain isn't working.
- 12:47Speaker 5: Another interesting one here, and this is you know, this
- 12:51Speaker 5: is just it makes sense, you know, especially Warriors jerseys. Yeah,
- 12:56Speaker 5: a Warriors jersey from the first year or that first
- 12:58Speaker 5: sort of thing is worth a fortune. Now, same with
- 13:01Speaker 5: the Warriors jersey from the two grand final years. Those
- 13:04Speaker 5: those are worth like up to almost at one thousand dollars,
- 13:07Speaker 5: that's right.
- 13:07Speaker 1: But at the end of the day it is one
- 13:08Speaker 1: thousand dollars. But there is someone's retiring on a thousand.
- 13:14Speaker 5: But if you bought that and you bought a few
- 13:15Speaker 5: of them, and you bought it for one hundred and
- 13:17Speaker 5: fifty bucks, and then you sold it for a thousand, like,
- 13:19Speaker 5: that's still pretty good.
- 13:20Speaker 1: Yeah, but at that price range. Yet you just want
- 13:22Speaker 1: to keep it, don't. You'd rather have it ondred percent,
- 13:24Speaker 1: you know, I would. Times might get tough times. I
- 13:27Speaker 1: remember I was holding on to the one and two
- 13:30Speaker 1: dollar notes when they discontinued those. Ja you remember those, man,
- 13:33Speaker 1: I do, And I thought, I'll hold on to these
- 13:35Speaker 1: and they'll have a collector's value to them. Anyway, I
- 13:38Speaker 1: was on the doll and I took them down to
- 13:40Speaker 1: the shop to spend them, probably as a part of
- 13:43Speaker 1: the money that I wanted to spend on siggings, but
- 13:47Speaker 1: they were no longer legal tender. Yeah.
- 13:50Speaker 5: Right, So I want to say I've never didn't even
- 13:51Speaker 5: know we had those one dollar and two dollar note
- 13:54Speaker 5: Nah did we actually have those?
- 13:55Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 13:56Speaker 1: Man, we did.
- 13:57Speaker 4: I'm really interested in this in these whiskey barrus, but
- 14:00Speaker 4: I could see a few issues potentially happening.
- 14:03Speaker 1: You might like this other guy as well. Here he
- 14:04Speaker 1: invested in an ounce of booger sugar.
- 14:10Speaker 5: I don't even know what's booger sugar.
- 14:12Speaker 1: Don't tell you off here? Okay.
- 14:15Speaker 2: The Hdichy Big Show was Jason, Mike and Kyzy tune
- 14:19Speaker 2: in four.
- 14:20Speaker 10: On radio, Welcome back the Big Show, Magic Crown, three bit,
- 14:27Speaker 10: Let's put another mad busted on the bench And.
- 14:31Speaker 3: So it begins, fellas, So it begins.
- 14:34Speaker 5: What's magic ground? I hear you ask?
- 14:36Speaker 3: I didn't hear that?
- 14:37Speaker 1: What you know?
- 14:39Speaker 5: Do someone texted in it?
- 14:41Speaker 3: Maybe it is the best.
- 14:43Speaker 5: Weekend of the entire year. It is in May. You
- 14:46Speaker 5: fly over to Brisbane there you didn't go to sun
- 14:48Speaker 5: Corps Stadium three nights in a row and watch eight
- 14:51Speaker 5: games of NRL. Every single team is in Brisbane. It's
- 14:53Speaker 5: set for one. It's all at Suncorp Stadium. Caxton Street's
- 14:56Speaker 5: just up there. There's a million pubs. It is a
- 14:58Speaker 5: day full of it tro jerseys and rugby league awesomeness. Yes,
- 15:02Speaker 5: that's my favorite week end of the year.
- 15:04Speaker 4: It's great stuff and you want to be a part
- 15:06Speaker 4: of it. Easy and good a logan, your mad bastard.
- 15:08Speaker 3: How's life mate?
- 15:10Speaker 8: How are you fellers?
- 15:11Speaker 3: Yeah?

- 17:35Speaker 4: Canberra player? What did you say, Melmaninger, melman Inger, there's guns.
- 17:44Speaker 2: The Hdarchy Big Show weekdays from four on Radio Hodkies.
- 17:49Speaker 4: Indeed the white stripes there on the radio Hoo Donkey
- 17:51Speaker 4: Big Show this Tuesday afternoon. Next Talk TV, What's on
- 17:57Speaker 4: the Telly with Mike Minogue.
- 18:03Speaker 3: Yeah, that's right.
- 18:06Speaker 1: Last night I watched episode one of season two of
- 18:09Speaker 1: wolf Hall. Wolf Hall. Never heard of it the first
- 18:14Speaker 1: season came out. It must be five or six years ago,
- 18:18Speaker 1: based on a book. It's set in England and it's
- 18:23Speaker 1: about Henry the Eighth and his sort of more. It's
- 18:28Speaker 1: more it's set in the court of Henry the Eighth,
- 18:30Speaker 1: but its focuses on I think his name is Thomas Cromwell,
- 18:34Speaker 1: who starts out as a son of a smithy and
- 18:36Speaker 1: then works his way up into the.
- 18:37Speaker 3: King's favor, slides his way up there, he does his.
- 18:42Speaker 1: The actor is Mark Rylance, who was a huge actor
- 18:47Speaker 1: in theater over in the UK and this was his
- 18:50Speaker 1: first TV role, which have then led him to be
- 18:52Speaker 1: at a whole deluge of different things. Steven Spielberg's The BFG.
- 18:58Speaker 1: He played the BFG. He's brilliant Bridge of Spies I
- 19:02Speaker 1: think was another one that's in. He's very, very good.
- 19:04Speaker 1: The first season that's absolutely magnificent, brilliant drama. Four episodes
- 19:08Speaker 1: something like that, And it's taking them so long to
- 19:11Speaker 1: do a second season because I've been waiting for the
- 19:12Speaker 1: next book to be written. So he started that last
- 19:15Speaker 1: night dull as shit. God, it was boring. Oh no,
- 19:19Speaker 1: but I think it'll get better. I'm just hoping that
- 19:21Speaker 1: it's going to get better. It was just really like
- 19:23Speaker 1: things were happening, but everything was just played on exactly
- 19:26Speaker 1: the same note, just just kept on going there and
- 19:31Speaker 1: I got really annoyed with it in the end, but
- 19:32Speaker 1: I'm going to stick with it. And so far, one
- 19:35Speaker 1: buzzy out of a possible five buzzies. That's our Neon
- 19:39Speaker 1: and it's wolf Hall first season. Highly highly highly recommend.
- 19:43Speaker 1: You simply must Yeah, great stuff. I didn't really watch
- 19:46Speaker 1: a lot of it.
- 19:47Speaker 4: Finished off Murdop the Dynasty, Oh you did, Yes, What
- 19:50Speaker 4: a piece of work they are, what it's set.
- 19:53Speaker 3: You know, it amazes me. These people have.
- 19:56Speaker 4: Got billions and billions of dollars and it's never enough.
- 20:01Speaker 4: They're not happy, No, they're not content within themselves because
- 20:04Speaker 4: they need more billions and billions of dollars, more billions.
- 20:08Speaker 1: It's about seeing the ideas, right, I don't even it's
- 20:10Speaker 1: not about the money. Yes, it's about having these big
- 20:12Speaker 1: plans and seeing them come to fruition. So power, isn't
- 20:16Speaker 1: it the halls of power?
- 20:17Speaker 3: It is power. It is all about power. But it's
- 20:20Speaker 3: a kind of tragic tale in a way.
- 20:22Speaker 4: Oh, a family kind of disintegrating for billions and billions
- 20:28Speaker 4: of dollars.
- 20:29Speaker 5: Totally. That's on Netflix, right, Yes, I watched the second
- 20:33Speaker 5: half and have now completed the new Louis Theroux documentary
- 20:36Speaker 5: on Netflix Inside the Manisphere, like infuriating to watch, especially
- 20:43Speaker 5: for my wife, because it's about this new trend on
- 20:45Speaker 5: social media of hyper masculinity and basically saying like the
- 20:51Speaker 5: man's job is to go out and earning, the woman's
- 20:53Speaker 5: job is to be at home with the kids. However,
- 20:56Speaker 5: all these guys that are on these podcasts and Instagram
- 20:58Speaker 5: channels and stuff are also the big fans of and
- 21:01Speaker 5: they insist on a one way monogamous relationship. So they're
- 21:05Speaker 5: allowed several partners, but their wife has only allowed them.
- 21:09Speaker 1: Yes, And it's just.
- 21:10Speaker 5: It's crazy because these guys are really like motivational and
- 21:12Speaker 5: they're like you've got to get up, you've got to
- 21:14Speaker 5: get out there, you've got to earn your money, blah
- 21:15Speaker 5: blah blah blah. And you're like, okay, cool, this is good,
- 21:17Speaker 5: this is motivational. Then they just veer off to this
- 21:19Speaker 5: weird anti women, anti everything everything. We're all in the matrix,
- 21:24Speaker 5: and I was just like, oh my god. But it's
- 21:27Speaker 5: not just annoying because Louis Threw is there asking just
- 21:31Speaker 5: the hardest questions and to their face the stuff you're thinking,
- 21:35Speaker 5: he just asked them, he doesn't care. It is equal
- 21:38Speaker 5: parts infuriating but also really entertaining because Louis is just
- 21:41Speaker 5: so goddamn good. I recommend it. It's like four Busy documentary,
- 21:46Speaker 5: a four busy Netflix documentary.
- 21:48Speaker 1: It's interesting to me that stuff, and it's interesting. It's
- 21:51Speaker 1: sort of Andrew takes and all those sort of.
- 21:53Speaker 5: All those people, and it's really interesting because they just
- 21:56Speaker 5: say stuff like, yo, you know, all the women I've met,
- 21:59Speaker 5: you know, they don't want to go out and have
- 22:01Speaker 5: their own careers and stuff. They just want a man
- 22:02Speaker 5: to look And I'm like, all the women you've met
- 22:03Speaker 5: are all OnlyFans models, and these people that you surround yourself.
- 22:07Speaker 5: You know, it's just just yeah, it is.
- 22:10Speaker 3: Grace is now listen. Coming up after five o'clock.
- 22:14Speaker 4: We talked to Mania Stewart about a number of things. Actually,
- 22:17Speaker 4: he's about to go on that big trip the Wellness Retreat.
- 22:21Speaker 5: The Wellness Retreat tomorrow. Also, he was at Lincoln Park
- 22:23Speaker 5: last night, so I'll be looking to get a review
- 22:25Speaker 5: from Maniah. Also, Punk Sun is going on Sunday away
- 22:29Speaker 5: to Vietnam on a holiday. Yes, howdy Jay, You've been

- 23:09Speaker 4: for yours and mine eight out of ten.
- 23:11Speaker 1: Yours is shocking.
- 23:13Speaker 5: Why do you get to rate everything?
- 23:15Speaker 3: It's just how I am?
- 23:16Speaker 1: Why are you the rate everything I look at.
- 23:18Speaker 4: These days, it's all buzzies in terms of you know,
- 23:21Speaker 4: marking it out of buzzies and you watch it over eighth.
- 23:25Speaker 4: I gave mine an eight years eight buzzies out of ten.
- 23:28Speaker 5: It's good stuff, fellas.
- 23:29Speaker 8: Hey.
- 23:30Speaker 5: A lot of people texting and saying, oh, saying oh
- 23:33Speaker 5: did I miss the Magic Ground draw you know, and

- 24:22Speaker 7: What gives you that impression?
- 24:24Speaker 1: Well, it's just there.
- 24:25Speaker 3: The stings are disappearing.

- 24:40Speaker 5: his work that he's very touchy pointed out.

- 24:46Speaker 7: work ethic.
- 24:46Speaker 8: Jass.
- 24:47Speaker 1: So it alone place.
- 24:49Speaker 4: When Mogi came up to the other days, he got,
- 24:51Speaker 4: oh bloody, yeah, Pug sounds flown.

- 24:59Speaker 1: Yeah, but is soft in the head. Get that a lot.
- 25:03Speaker 5: The reason we got you in here, Pugs, is just

- 25:09Speaker 5: chat about the fact that you are going to Vietnam.

- 25:14Speaker 5: It's your first big holiday since I've known you, you know,

- 25:20Speaker 7: Yeah, that was the last bag one that wasn't work related?
- 25:22Speaker 7: Was Japan forgot that? Twenty three?
- 25:26Speaker 1: Twenty four?
- 25:27Speaker 3: How did you about that?
- 25:29Speaker 1: You know, bro?
- 25:31Speaker 5: Sorry, I've flown the coop.
- 25:32Speaker 3: Now obviously obviously paks hand.
- 25:34Speaker 1: I've been to Vietnam.
- 25:36Speaker 4: And I thought wise Vietnam. I am Vietnam.
- 25:40Speaker 5: Now you don't even need to go now what is that?
- 25:46Speaker 3: I can't remember?
- 25:47Speaker 4: Actually, I think that's thank you or hello, one of
- 25:50Speaker 4: the other something like that.
- 25:52Speaker 1: Just check it out.
- 25:53Speaker 8: That was it?
- 25:54Speaker 4: You know what it's like when you go traveling parks,
- 25:57Speaker 4: even one showing advice you left right, and I know
- 26:00Speaker 4: that old keys he's been pistering you do there's a
- 26:04Speaker 4: do that or whatever? You know, he hasn't even been there,
- 26:10Speaker 4: but I have been there. I don't know if you
- 26:12Speaker 4: know that.
- 26:13Speaker 7: You yes, yeah, right.
- 26:16Speaker 4: A lot of people bang on about vaccines, right, you
- 26:19Speaker 4: know you've got to get your vaccines before you got
- 26:21Speaker 4: cric cetera. Don't worry, man, don't worry about it. It's
- 26:24Speaker 4: a scam. Just trust your body.
- 26:26Speaker 1: I've already it's big farmer, man, it's.
- 26:28Speaker 3: Totally big farmer ripping you off. Just trust your body.
- 26:33Speaker 1: You look like a fool, yeah, totally sucker.
- 26:36Speaker 3: So don't bother.
- 26:37Speaker 7: We probably should have had this youn like weeks ago
- 26:38Speaker 7: because obviously I'm leaving three days and so I've already
- 26:41Speaker 7: got them.
- 26:41Speaker 5: Yeah, because you want your what you got hippee?
- 26:44Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 26:44Speaker 5: What else have you got? Yeah? What's the other one
- 26:47Speaker 5: you've got? Titness?
- 26:48Speaker 7: Yeahs you didn't go rabies? Didn't go rabies?
- 26:51Speaker 1: Okay?
- 26:52Speaker 4: Oh, there's a lot of dogs over then people go.
- 26:54Speaker 4: You know a lot of them are crazy and wild,
- 26:55Speaker 4: they're cute as man, and you love dogs.
- 26:59Speaker 7: Yeah yeah, okay.
- 27:00Speaker 3: You now also money? What are you doing with money?
- 27:02Speaker 4: Because a lot of people say get a wise card
- 27:04Speaker 4: or something like that so you can get your money
- 27:05Speaker 4: out overseas.
- 27:06Speaker 3: That's bullshit.
- 27:08Speaker 4: Just get all the money you're going to spend that
- 27:11Speaker 4: you're planning to spend in Vietnam, get it all out
- 27:13Speaker 4: before you go over there, put it in your bum
- 27:15Speaker 4: bag and just carry it around with you.
- 27:17Speaker 5: Are you getting your bum bag?
- 27:19Speaker 7: I've got a bag to walk around with. It's not
- 27:23Speaker 7: bum related. Okay, Well you're got to get a bum bag, James.
- 27:26Speaker 1: Have you got any dong lying around?
- 27:28Speaker 5: Oh?
- 27:28Speaker 4: I've got a few dong if you need it.
- 27:31Speaker 5: And you've got to seriously he's right. You want to
- 27:33Speaker 5: put the dong in your bum because that's because you
- 27:37Speaker 5: don't want to get pickpocketed.
- 27:39Speaker 4: Yeah, and the last thing you need, you know, is
- 27:41Speaker 4: to go and put your card in there and it
- 27:42Speaker 4: gets chewed up.
- 27:43Speaker 3: Machines over there are shocking bastards, and that's.
- 27:46Speaker 5: If it does happen. Though, you reach into your bum
- 27:48Speaker 5: bag and you pull out your dog, you've.
- 27:50Speaker 4: Got your dong on your bum.
- 27:53Speaker 8: Now.
- 27:54Speaker 4: Food, of course, Vietnam favorite famous for its food.
- 27:58Speaker 7: Yeah, I really excited for some, you know.
- 28:02Speaker 4: And the temptation is to go to sort of the
- 28:04Speaker 4: cleaner sort of areas and eat there, you know, because
- 28:08Speaker 4: of your sort of European upbringing. Go to the filthiest,
- 28:12Speaker 4: most disgusting spots you can find on the side of
- 28:15Speaker 4: the street.
- 28:15Speaker 3: There there will often be dogs around, dead carcasses and stuff.
- 28:18Speaker 4: You are guaranteed you get the best fuck while you're
- 28:22Speaker 4: doing that.
- 28:22Speaker 7: Do you think I should go to places that have
- 28:24Speaker 7: lots of people or rather stick to the like lesson nine,
- 28:28Speaker 7: Go find some real like secretive sort of spots, no
- 28:31Speaker 7: one's there.
- 28:31Speaker 4: The filthier the better, and the emptier the better, and
- 28:35Speaker 4: the emptier the better.
- 28:36Speaker 5: Yeah, yeah, like you find an empty, filthy stare, you
- 28:40Speaker 5: order a fur, you pull your dong out of your bum,
- 28:43Speaker 5: and it's going to be the best meal of your
- 28:45Speaker 5: honestly your life thus far.
- 28:46Speaker 3: Totally.
- 28:46Speaker 5: Man, You're gonna love it.
- 28:47Speaker 3: Yeah, I think are there any concerns you have?
- 28:50Speaker 8: No?
- 28:51Speaker 7: But if you if you know any good spots like
- 28:53Speaker 7: to go, that's good.
- 28:56Speaker 11: Well, literally, Vietnam advice will double for Vietnam.
- 29:06Speaker 5: It's next to Vietnam. Wanted another spot.
- 29:09Speaker 3: It's the poor man's Vietnam.
- 29:11Speaker 5: What that's racist? Sin chows? Hello, by the way, Yeah,
- 29:18Speaker 5: is that enough advice for you? The pugs? You need
- 29:21Speaker 5: more advice?
- 29:22Speaker 8: Well?
- 29:22Speaker 4: If I could actually able to mate that spent a
- 29:24Speaker 4: lot of time there, Do you mind if we give
- 29:25Speaker 4: him a call next and you can have a chat.
- 29:27Speaker 3: With him as well?
- 29:27Speaker 8: Yeah?
- 29:28Speaker 7: Sure, King?
- 29:28Speaker 5: Who's that?
- 29:29Speaker 3: Well you'll find out, Keezy.
- 29:32Speaker 2: Sorry, the Hilarchy Big Show was Jason, Mike and Kezy.

- 29:46Speaker 4: Thinking about, you know, giving you we've just been giving
- 29:49Speaker 4: you advice about Vietnam, and we.
- 29:50Speaker 3: Thought, my god, what about des Dale?
- 29:52Speaker 4: Giddy because I'm pretty sure Des has spent a fair
- 29:54Speaker 4: amount of time in Vietnam. So we gave him a
- 29:57Speaker 4: card and said would he mind giving you some of advice.
- 30:00Speaker 4: He's on the low line now I believe good ideas.
- 30:03Speaker 3: How's live here?

- 30:32Speaker 5: that makes me dirtyz.
- 30:34Speaker 4: This listen, we've got pucks out in the studio with us. Mate,
- 30:38Speaker 4: he's going to Vietnam next week for three weeks. You've
- 30:41Speaker 4: got any advice for the young fellow, a man of
- 30:43Speaker 4: your experience.
- 30:44Speaker 8: Oh, James, you're not going to know your ma. But
- 30:48Speaker 8: I tell you what bloody beautiful ones.
- 30:52Speaker 1: Chees.
- 30:53Speaker 7: No, I'm really excited, so shut up.
- 30:57Speaker 8: The food's bloody good. But you've got to be careful
- 31:01Speaker 8: as well. Right over there, mate, when you're traveling and Asia.
- 31:07Speaker 5: Well, and just any specifically or just anywhere really in
- 31:10Speaker 5: the world.
- 31:11Speaker 8: Gotta be careful, I mean, but you're right, because it's
- 31:15Speaker 8: a little bit different, really, a little bit different.
- 31:18Speaker 5: Yeah, in a good way, in a good way.
- 31:20Speaker 8: You've gotta be careful because.
- 31:22Speaker 7: Have you got any recommendations for just you know, keeping
- 31:25Speaker 7: safe over there?
- 31:27Speaker 8: You've got to rub her up, James. You gotta rub
- 31:30Speaker 8: her up, mate. And can I say you rep it once?
- 31:33Speaker 8: Rep it twice?
- 31:34Speaker 1: Yeah, twice?
- 31:35Speaker 8: That is what I always did anyway.
- 31:38Speaker 7: No, but like sorry, is I think like layering up?
- 31:41Speaker 4: Yeah, that's bloody good advice. Actually, Pats, given your inclination.
- 31:48Speaker 8: Early we were over there and I was giving it
- 31:51Speaker 8: to Charlie. Mate, we were over there and I was
- 31:54Speaker 8: absolutely given it to Charlie.
- 31:56Speaker 1: Charlie.
- 31:56Speaker 8: It was a boyfriend of mine at the time. Mate.
- 31:59Speaker 1: All right, right, well.
- 32:00Speaker 8: One thing leads to another and next thing. You know, mate,
- 32:03Speaker 8: you got the drip.
- 32:05Speaker 1: All right, We got that sort of safety covered. DearS.
- 32:08Speaker 1: What about personal safety?
- 32:09Speaker 8: Oh no, you're a very peaceful perod people. You don't
- 32:13Speaker 8: have to worry about them too much. Mate. Just keep
- 32:15Speaker 8: your wits about your pegs, just keep your way right,
- 32:19Speaker 8: all right?
- 32:19Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 32:20Speaker 8: Too pissed up because I know what you're like. You're
- 32:22Speaker 8: a mad dog on the old fire water of the James,
- 32:25Speaker 8: aren't you. Well, you can't help yourself. You get a
- 32:28Speaker 8: couple of drinks and and there's a couple of more
- 32:30Speaker 8: before you know you're blacked down again.
- 32:32Speaker 7: Here you I don't know we heard that one DearS, but.
- 32:37Speaker 3: I gave him a call. Your party the other.

- 33:50Speaker 6: Brother, Yeah, lost my voice in the moshpit at Lincoln
- 33:53Speaker 6: Bark last night.
- 33:54Speaker 8: To go Yeah. Right.
- 33:55Speaker 5: So the reason we got you on and there's a
- 33:57Speaker 5: few things we need to tackle. First of all, you
- 33:59Speaker 5: are one of the biggest Lincoln Park punishes. You're the
- 34:01Speaker 5: second biggest Lincoln Park punisher. I know. Was it a
- 34:04Speaker 5: childhood sort of dream going to see them last night?
- 34:07Speaker 8: Yeah? It was. I wouldn't have minded seend them with Chester.
- 34:10Speaker 6: But the New Girl's pretty good. The thing is, you know,
- 34:13Speaker 6: you're in the marsh Perk hell.
- 34:15Speaker 3: For Leather as you know, Jesse, Yeah, totally man.
- 34:18Speaker 6: And then but then they play some of the new
- 34:20Speaker 6: stuff and everyone just sort of stops and just sways
- 34:22Speaker 6: around for a bit.
- 34:24Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 34:25Speaker 1: Well, Heavy as the Crown was one. We had a
- 34:28Speaker 1: few spies at the gig last night and I and
- 34:32Speaker 1: they said that during that song they looked over and
- 34:34Speaker 1: saw you and you just had tears streaming down your face.
- 34:37Speaker 1: You were absolutely loving it.
- 34:39Speaker 6: Yeah, all there was about twenty well they sawn twenty
- 34:43Speaker 6: thousand people in that thing, just angsty teenagers all tagging
- 34:47Speaker 6: straight there.
- 34:47Speaker 8: You had been a Lincoln Bark.
- 34:48Speaker 1: Fan minute I did. Well, I saw them with Chester
- 34:51Speaker 1: in twenty thirteen, and I'll tell you what, just going
- 34:55Speaker 1: and seeing them with this new singer would have been sacrilegious.
- 34:57Speaker 1: I thought. I thought any real fan of the band
- 34:59Speaker 1: would not go and see them with this one.
- 35:00Speaker 3: Yeah, that's why I didn't go. Man, Yeah, James singing.
- 35:05Speaker 6: Too young and twenty fifth about it was only about ten.
- 35:09Speaker 5: Yeah, right right. Look, the other reason we've got you
- 35:11Speaker 5: on and I is that you and Jerry tomorrow heading
- 35:13Speaker 5: over to heading over to Australia for your wellness retreat.
- 35:17Speaker 5: Can you can you just explain what? What is wellness?
- 35:20Speaker 1: What is well?
- 35:21Speaker 6: Yeah, you've got me on the wrong day to explain
- 35:23Speaker 6: that that I couldn't tell you.
- 35:25Speaker 3: Tell me are you doing the show tomorrow?
- 35:29Speaker 8: No?
- 35:31Speaker 3: Are you doing the show on Monday?
- 35:36Speaker 8: And that to me fellas as well as yeah, there you.
- 35:39Speaker 5: Go, So what is it like? What are you doing
- 35:41Speaker 5: yoga and stuff? Because Jason's under the impression that you
- 35:43Speaker 5: just got you're just getting on the purse the whole time.
- 35:45Speaker 6: No, James, we wouldn't do that kind of thing.
- 35:47Speaker 8: Mate.
- 35:47Speaker 6: We've got yoga book, the Beach Front Yoga. We've got
- 35:50Speaker 6: a breathwork workshop, right and then and then the words
- 35:54Speaker 6: are kicking off at three.
- 35:56Speaker 1: Yeah, I need you need to do a bit of
- 35:57Speaker 1: breath work after being exhausted from yoga, won't you?
- 36:01Speaker 5: Yeah, But the thing is breath work for man. I
- 36:04Speaker 5: was just punching dirries though I know what he's doing here.
- 36:07Speaker 3: Is he on the daries? Is he?
- 36:10Speaker 5: Well you can probably hear it. Are you on the darries?
- 36:12Speaker 8: Man?

- 42:07Speaker 2: The Hurdiarchy Big Show weekdays from four on Radio Hdarchy.
- 42:11Speaker 4: Supergrass There on the Radio Hodarchy Big Show this Thursday evening.
- 42:16Speaker 4: The time is twelve minutes past six o'clock. And last night, Fellas,
- 42:21Speaker 4: I ordered Uber eats. My wife, as you know, is
- 42:23Speaker 4: doing a play at the moment, and often, you know,
- 42:25Speaker 4: when I come home from which she will have.
- 42:27Speaker 3: Cooked the meal.
- 42:28Speaker 4: And I've been a bit of a lazy ass of that.
- 42:30Speaker 4: I've just been getting takeaways. And I don't usually get
- 42:33Speaker 4: Uber eats. I usually because I'm in the CBD. Now,
- 42:36Speaker 4: I just go out on the town and I find
- 42:38Speaker 4: somewhere and I buy it, and I buy it in
- 42:43Speaker 4: the CD. But last night I just couldn't be asked.
- 42:47Speaker 4: Now what I'm about to tell you was a shockingly
- 42:50Speaker 4: true story.
- 42:51Speaker 5: Because I'm already annoyed because you are so close to
- 42:54Speaker 5: so many things. I know, you're literally a five minute walk.
- 42:57Speaker 4: I know, but I've done it every other night, Giezy.
- 43:01Speaker 4: But that night last night, I was just ah. And
- 43:03Speaker 4: I've been doing a lot of walking that day anyway,
- 43:05Speaker 4: so I was pretty tired. I was pretty pooped. So
- 43:08Speaker 4: I ordered some mob eats and it's like blah blah, blah,
- 43:13Speaker 4: that's great. And then it's like such and such is
- 43:15Speaker 4: on his way.
- 43:16Speaker 5: So I said blah blah, and then it said such
- 43:18Speaker 5: and such.
- 43:18Speaker 3: You know it's been picked up. He's on his way.
- 43:21Speaker 3: I'm not great.
- 43:22Speaker 4: And so I'm sitting there and then when he's about
- 43:24Speaker 4: a minute away from the apartment, yeah, I go okay,
- 43:28Speaker 4: and I go down onto the out the front door
- 43:31Speaker 4: the apartment.
- 43:32Speaker 1: I'm just picturing you that you're picking up the phone.
- 43:34Speaker 1: You see this is a minute away, and then you
- 43:36Speaker 1: say to yourself, okay, okay, here we go.
- 43:41Speaker 4: I do actually yeah, because I said to him, you know,
- 43:44Speaker 4: I'll wait out the front so he doesn't have to
- 43:46Speaker 4: go through the pilavora of trying to find my apartment.
- 43:48Speaker 4: So I was standing on the pavement one minute ago
- 43:51Speaker 4: and then I get I literally get a message from
- 43:53Speaker 4: him and he says, sorry, mate, wrong turn. I'll be
- 43:55Speaker 4: another teen And I'm like, well, that seems like a
- 43:59Speaker 4: long time for a wrong ten. I went all good, mate,
- 44:02Speaker 4: walk back up to the apartment. Ten minutes goes and
- 44:06Speaker 4: he's about a minute away. I go down again out
- 44:09Speaker 4: onto the pavement.
- 44:10Speaker 3: And are you like okay, No, I didn't say that
- 44:14Speaker 3: that time.
- 44:15Speaker 4: So I'm standing on the pavement and he says I'm
- 44:17Speaker 4: here and I went, okay, oh yeah, moved it.
- 44:23Speaker 3: I kid you not.
- 44:24Speaker 4: He goes where are you? And I said in front
- 44:28Speaker 4: of the apartment. This is such and such, right, this
- 44:31Speaker 4: is the such and such feeling.
- 44:32Speaker 3: Yeah, and he went, oh, okay. Nothing for two or
- 44:37Speaker 3: three minutes.
- 44:37Speaker 5: Had you looked at your phone at the map at
- 44:38Speaker 5: that point?
- 44:39Speaker 8: Yeah?
- 44:39Speaker 4: I was looking at the map, but he just sort
- 44:41Speaker 4: of parked up somewhere and I couldn't quite figure out.
- 44:43Speaker 3: What he was doing.
- 44:44Speaker 4: Right, So two or three minutes past, no response, and
- 44:48Speaker 4: I went all good and he went, yes, sorry, mate,
- 44:52Speaker 4: my Google Maps is packed up.
- 44:54Speaker 1: And I went okay, good. One and then a few.
- 44:59Speaker 4: More minutes past and I said, hey, are you coming?
- 45:02Speaker 4: And he said where are you? And I said in
- 45:05Speaker 4: front of my apartment and I shit you not. He
- 45:08Speaker 4: said where's your apartment? And I said the address I
- 45:13Speaker 4: sent you and he went all right, see you in
- 45:18Speaker 4: a few minutes.
- 45:19Speaker 5: What did you say?
- 45:19Speaker 4: I went, okay, okay, getting Iffan and Jiffin at the stage.
- 45:27Speaker 1: Is it bugging you?
- 45:28Speaker 3: It was bugging me, I'm telling.
- 45:32Speaker 8: You was what happened.
- 45:34Speaker 4: It's true, and then he goes, I'm in front of
- 45:37Speaker 4: the apartment and I said, no, you're not, because I'm
- 45:40Speaker 4: standing in front of the.
- 45:41Speaker 3: Apartment and I can't see you.
- 45:44Speaker 4: And he goes, oh okay, and I said where about it?
- 45:48Speaker 4: Whereabouts on the road? Are you on our street? And
- 45:51Speaker 4: he said I'm at the top and I said the
- 45:55Speaker 4: apartments down the bottom and he went, oh yeah, sorry
- 45:59Speaker 4: mateo Maps is crapping out. And I was like, right,
- 46:04Speaker 4: few more, few more minutes past, I kid you not,
- 46:08Speaker 4: and I'm going looking at it, looking for a car
- 46:11Speaker 4: because I've got this, you know, number plate and stuff.
- 46:14Speaker 4: And I went are you coming?
- 46:17Speaker 3: And I shit, you not.
- 46:19Speaker 4: He said I'm in the park and I was like,
- 46:25Speaker 4: why are you in the park and he said that's
- 46:28Speaker 4: where my Google Maps took me. And I said why
- 46:32Speaker 4: would my apartment be in the park and he went yeah, sorry,
- 46:37Speaker 4: I'll find you. And then he went, oh, hang on,
- 46:40Speaker 4: I see you stay there. And then he came and
- 46:43Speaker 4: he delivered my pad tie and he was, oh, sorry mate.
- 46:46Speaker 4: It was a bit of a disaster, just an absolute shambles.
- 46:50Speaker 4: But you know the ridiculous thing about it, good pad
- 46:52Speaker 4: tie by the way, fellers, Yeah, it wasn't.
- 46:55Speaker 3: Hot, but the microwave for a while it was okay. Uh,
- 47:01Speaker 3: you know, the ridiculous thing, and this is what I
- 47:02Speaker 3: do all the time.
- 47:03Speaker 4: I still gave him a five star review because I
- 47:07Speaker 4: can't bring myself to go.
- 47:09Speaker 3: He was useless and a complete idiot.
- 47:14Speaker 1: Well, you know, even now and again, you run into
- 47:17Speaker 1: those sorts of blokes and you go, you know, I've
- 47:19Speaker 1: never met this bloke, but there's something about him. He
- 47:21Speaker 1: reminds me of me.
- 47:22Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 47:22Speaker 2: Maybe the wold Aching Big Show with Jason, Mike and Kezy.
- 47:28Speaker 2: Tune in week days at four on Radio hold.
- 47:30Speaker 3: Age Black Crows.
- 47:31Speaker 4: There on the radio Hodarchy Big Show this Thursday evening.
- 47:36Speaker 3: The time is six twenty four and this, God, it's
- 47:39Speaker 3: a beautiful night.
- 47:40Speaker 1: Isn't it, Fellers, certainly is.
- 47:41Speaker 5: Jason got that sun.
- 47:42Speaker 3: But right now it's time for.
- 47:48Speaker 6: This.
- 47:49Speaker 1: This is crazy.
- 47:52Speaker 5: Usually it'd be what's on the news of me Kezy,
- 47:54Speaker 5: but something's wrong with the system keeps deleting our stuff.
- 47:57Speaker 5: So the stings disappeared. I don't know if that's something
- 47:59Speaker 5: to do with you guys. The first has fallen a
- 48:00Speaker 5: part of the scenes, but I know that you guys
- 48:03Speaker 5: don't like the segment. So it's what Jase does.
- 48:05Speaker 1: I wouldn't say that I hate it.
- 48:10Speaker 5: Well, then why we do?
- 48:12Speaker 1: I just surpise it really because it's you've got to
- 48:17Speaker 1: have your own thing, keys, and I think it's to
- 48:19Speaker 1: work on. It doesn't mean it can't be great. Well,
- 48:21Speaker 1: it means it's so far it's been you know. Okay,
- 48:24Speaker 1: well how about that? All right, give me another chance today?
- 48:26Speaker 1: This is gonna be the best what's on the news
- 48:27Speaker 1: of the keysy. I think the only way to do
- 48:29Speaker 1: it is you've got to do it every single day
- 48:30Speaker 1: for the rest of the year. Ah, okay, take to
- 48:33Speaker 1: leave it all right?
- 48:35Speaker 5: Here we go. This is gonna be the best one
- 48:36Speaker 5: we've ever done.
- 48:39Speaker 1: What's on the news with me.
- 48:46Speaker 5: Pugs found it?
- 48:49Speaker 1: Is that the news?
- 48:50Speaker 5: No no, no, I was just saying, have you found
- 48:52Speaker 5: this thing? And it's back now?
- 48:53Speaker 1: Fuel rhinos? What do you mean lyrics? Don't they all did? God?
- 49:01Speaker 5: All I said was one we just get on like
- 49:03Speaker 5: I'm trying.
- 49:04Speaker 1: We've got all of these animals.
- 49:06Speaker 3: If they just got to do with rhino's hearing, I
- 49:09Speaker 3: will be fuman.
- 49:10Speaker 5: Rhinos have been reintroduced to the Kiddie Pat Valley National Park.
- 49:16Speaker 5: What for the first time in over forty years. Kidney Port,
- 49:20Speaker 5: it's k I D E p O. Wow, What did
- 49:23Speaker 5: you think?
- 49:24Speaker 3: I said nothing.
- 49:28Speaker 5: The last and we're specifically talking about white.
- 49:30Speaker 1: Rhinos racist racis.
- 49:36Speaker 5: The last rhino there was killed in nineteen eighty three.
- 49:40Speaker 5: White rhino poaches, obviously killing them for their meat, but
- 49:49Speaker 5: mostly for their horns. Yeah, for the ivory to make
- 49:52Speaker 5: rhino power.
- 49:53Speaker 3: I reckon rhino would be really tough, magie.
- 49:57Speaker 1: You gotta get it from the right place. Certainly the
- 50:00Speaker 1: white rhino, of course, a great colonizer of Africa. Well
- 50:03Speaker 1: a rhino. Yeah, shock and burstards.
- 50:09Speaker 5: Two southern white rhinos were transported to the park, the
- 50:12Speaker 5: first of eight rhinos that have been specifically bred to
- 50:15Speaker 5: reintroduce them.
- 50:16Speaker 1: You watch or get gentrified. Now all the locals have.
- 50:20Speaker 8: To move out.
- 50:21Speaker 5: Some white rhinos have moved in.
- 50:23Speaker 1: Yes, snobby bursts.
- 50:27Speaker 5: Uganda once had around seven hundred white would.
- 50:32Speaker 1: Mogi?
- 50:33Speaker 5: I would If there was one nearby, I'd probably have
- 50:35Speaker 5: a gander it it. Yes, Uganda once had around seven
- 50:39Speaker 5: hundred white rhinos, but they became extinct in the wild
- 50:42Speaker 5: due to poaching and instability.
- 50:46Speaker 4: They can't have become extinct because here they.
- 50:49Speaker 5: Are again they've been wiped out, but Kenya donated some
- 50:54Speaker 5: and specifically bred them because as they're endangered in Kenya
- 50:56Speaker 5: as well, specifically bred them to reintroduce them to your Ganda,
- 51:01Speaker 5: specifically in the Kiddie Port Valley National Park.
- 51:04Speaker 1: What yah, careful? Careful? I think what I'm finding with
- 51:08Speaker 1: all of these news items is that it has makes
- 51:11Speaker 1: no difference to me.
- 51:13Speaker 3: Yes, there's a very deep I don't care factor to it.
- 51:17Speaker 1: Yeah, and it's whether it's happened or not. I just
- 51:21Speaker 1: get on with my life regardless.
- 51:23Speaker 3: It's by the bye to me easy.
- 51:25Speaker 5: What do you want me to hit you with some
- 51:26Speaker 5: real hard hitting stuff that's going to affect your life?
- 51:29Speaker 1: Well, just something that's interesting would be good. But they
- 51:33Speaker 1: already were there, just not one hundred miles from where
- 51:37Speaker 1: they already were. You see what I'm saying, Kenya, And
- 51:41Speaker 1: now they've gotten a track. Now there's somewhere else. White
- 51:45Speaker 1: rhinos go for a ride on a truck. I mean,
- 51:47Speaker 1: I don't know why I would care about that.
- 51:49Speaker 5: Yeah, to be honest, if there was an article about
- 51:51Speaker 5: whe roders going for a ride on a truck, whole
- 51:53Speaker 5: segments on thin Eyes Man, Okay, give me another chance tomorrow.
- 51:57Speaker 1: I look forward to it.
- 51:58Speaker 2: The whole Rocky Big Show weekdays from.
- 52:01Speaker 3: Four on Radio hote Oasis. There on the Radio Hodarky
- 52:04Speaker 3: Big Show this Thursday evening.
- 52:08Speaker 1: Fellas bird Shit Chris, which is the name of my
- 52:12Speaker 1: cat and also the childhood nickname of Keyesy.
- 52:15Speaker 5: Not my childhood. It was one week in high school.
- 52:19Speaker 5: Everyone remembers it though it's that time.
- 52:22Speaker 1: Jase. I don't know if you've heard about this, but
- 52:23Speaker 1: this bird shad all over again.
- 52:25Speaker 5: It's not the story. The story, so you're getting you
- 52:28Speaker 5: get it. This is by the bye.
- 52:29Speaker 1: Do you mind? Men, I'm trying to tell this you
- 52:30Speaker 1: about bird shit Chris. Okay, kill your cat, you go.
- 52:34Speaker 1: We were meant to have it d sex today. It's
- 52:37Speaker 1: just put to get outside and play. Yeah, we've had
- 52:40Speaker 1: it for a couple of a couple of oh geez,
- 52:42Speaker 1: almost three months now wow. And but before we can
- 52:45Speaker 1: let it out you have to do sext and because
- 52:47Speaker 1: otherwise the local times get a hold of them. Yes
- 52:50Speaker 1: you know what I'm saying.
- 52:51Speaker 8: I do.
- 52:52Speaker 1: So anyway, I was on the phone to the vet
- 52:55Speaker 1: yesterday booking it in and booked it in for this
- 52:59Speaker 1: morning ten past eight you have to leave it with
- 53:01Speaker 1: the vet all day long because they go on a
- 53:03Speaker 1: general anesthetic and then they get d sex.
- 53:06Speaker 5: They get their sex deed, that's not what that means,
- 53:12Speaker 5: de sext. It means they get for the female cat.
- 53:16Speaker 5: How does it work? Do they they they remove the ovaryagow. Yeah,
- 53:21Speaker 5: and then you get them back at the end of
- 53:23Speaker 5: the day. They're a bit woozy, as you can imagine. Yes,
- 53:25Speaker 5: So then they have to stay inside for another ten
- 53:27Speaker 5: days after that. Oh wow, So because you can't because
- 53:32Speaker 5: the big problem with them is they don't realize that
- 53:35Speaker 5: they should take it easy. Like they don't put their
- 53:37Speaker 5: feet up and just watch a bit of tally. They're
- 53:39Speaker 5: just still running around, you know, like mad bastards. Anyway,
- 53:42Speaker 5: I go to get the cat this morning to take
- 53:45Speaker 5: it to the vet.
- 53:46Speaker 1: Gone burger. Oh no, you can't find it anywhere. Look
- 53:51Speaker 1: in the bat It was outside with my daughter. But
- 53:53Speaker 1: she's just the cat just loves staying in the garden.
- 53:56Speaker 1: Doesn't go out on the footpath, doesn't go to the neighbors.
- 53:59Speaker 1: Nothing like that. Gone absolutely gone not And it's not
- 54:02Speaker 1: usual places. I'm walking up and down the street, can't
- 54:04Speaker 1: find it at all, and it's done a runner for
- 54:07Speaker 1: the first time, and I think to myself, I remember back,
- 54:10Speaker 1: you see, and when I was on the phone to
- 54:12Speaker 1: the vet, I can remember looking over and the cat
- 54:17Speaker 1: was underneath the dining room table and was looking at
- 54:21Speaker 1: me and listening in on my conversation with the vet.
- 54:25Speaker 1: And every time I'd look over at the cat bird
- 54:28Speaker 1: ship Chris, that would quickly turn its head away and
- 54:30Speaker 1: pretend it was yes and just nothing going on, just
- 54:33Speaker 1: start looking at its claws on one of its paws, yes,
- 54:36Speaker 1: really investigating them.
- 54:38Speaker 5: Really, but cats can't, I mean, how is your cat?
- 54:42Speaker 5: They can't understand English anyway?
- 54:44Speaker 1: Well they do, though, don't they? Because for example, if
- 54:47Speaker 1: you say to a cat, here, bird ship, Chris, here,
- 54:50Speaker 1: bird ship, Chris, got to reno that cat? You have
- 54:53Speaker 1: to the cat, then it comes.
- 54:55Speaker 3: Over and then it comes around.
- 54:56Speaker 5: Yeah, because you was like beckoning it. You know, it's
- 54:59Speaker 5: not because it does you're speaking, but you're saying that.
- 55:01Speaker 1: It makes sense that a cat now understands beckoning beckoning, yeah,
- 55:07Speaker 1: because it understands the words. So as soon as it
- 55:10Speaker 1: heard desext ovaries birch at Chris under the knife, generally anesthetic,
- 55:20Speaker 1: all that sort of stuff. Yeah, yeah, that's it to itself.
- 55:22Speaker 1: I'm out of here, I'm out of here. And then
- 55:26Speaker 1: so eventually managed to track it down. It was halfway
- 55:28Speaker 1: down Ponsonby Road had a knapsack over its back.
- 55:33Speaker 2: The whole arching Big show with Jason, Mike and Kezy.
- 55:36Speaker 2: Tune in week days at four on Radio Hold Ikey.
- 55:46Speaker 4: Let you go, you mad bastards. That's a big show
- 55:49Speaker 4: down undusted for your Thursday night. Make sure you tune
- 55:51Speaker 4: in tomorrow. By the way, the Friday Trouble is back baby,
- 55:54Speaker 4: and it's good. What's the podcast outro clip today?
- 55:57Speaker 3: Kezy?
- 55:58Speaker 5: Today's podcast ultro clip isn't It was about how Jason's
- 56:01Speaker 5: in a her of a mood.
- 56:04Speaker 1: What I like is that you've got a new shirt on.
- 56:06Speaker 3: That's not a new ship.
- 56:08Speaker 5: That's a brand new ship. I've never seen that ship,
- 56:17Speaker 5: so goddamn.
- 56:18Speaker 1: Two things. One is that you get off by you've
- 56:21Speaker 1: got a new shirt, and then the other thing is
- 56:23Speaker 1: you've had you've had.
- 56:29Speaker 3: I have not had a here.
- 56:33Speaker 1: And it's crazy.
- 56:34Speaker 7: But also why it doesn't matter that, yes, you've got
- 56:36Speaker 7: a new shirt, it's not I just don't get it.
- 56:39Speaker 1: I'm not even going to indulge you bastards.
- 56:44Speaker 3: Moogie you guys, I'm coming over dinner.
- 56:46Speaker 1: I've got a dinner party tonight. Man, one of the
- 56:49Speaker 1: actors on the box is coming over and a mate
- 56:52Speaker 1: from down Dunedin. Do you know Tim Foley? Yes, Tom
- 56:58Speaker 1: Foley us at the moment he's come is we're going
- 57:00Speaker 1: a little movie there and yeah, so we'll be having
- 57:05Speaker 1: I told I told my wife last minute, right, so
- 57:08Speaker 1: God knows what she's going to put on the table?
- 57:10Speaker 4: Good lord, Keysy, what's.
- 57:18Speaker 1: Curry fresh? Little fresh? Number?
- 57:21Speaker 4: Was that?
- 57:22Speaker 1: Jason?
- 57:22Speaker 3: What are you having for dinner?
- 57:24Speaker 5: My wife ticks through. We don't have any plans. She's
- 57:26Speaker 5: what do you want for dinner tonight?
- 57:28Speaker 1: Lamb chops?
- 57:28Speaker 5: Yeah, she's got the same. She just always suggests lamb
- 57:31Speaker 5: lamb chops, like you with your portmants.
- 57:33Speaker 3: Yeah, does she really?
- 57:36Speaker 1: It's like me with the portman's.
- 57:38Speaker 11: Yeah.
- 57:38Speaker 5: She's obsessed with lamb chops.
- 57:40Speaker 1: Isn't that odds? Who's obsessed with lamb trop That is
- 57:43Speaker 1: the weirdest thing. We used to have lamb chops a
- 57:45Speaker 1: lot when I was a kid. My mother would cook
- 57:47Speaker 1: the but Jesus out of them. You get a very
- 57:50Speaker 1: well and the part that I liked was that the
- 57:52Speaker 1: fat would be really toasted and fried, you know, caramel
- 57:56Speaker 1: out of it. Yes, I like that, But the rest
- 57:58Speaker 1: of it would have shriveled up into a tiny morsel,
- 58:00Speaker 1: you know, there are an annoying bit of meat.
- 58:05Speaker 5: Instead, we're having roast lamb rump.
- 58:08Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 58:08Speaker 5: What are you doing tonight, Jose? What are you eating
- 58:10Speaker 5: a beg it with salami and cheese on it?
- 58:13Speaker 1: Yes? And avocado. I can't be asked.
- 58:18Speaker 5: That's okay. Bachelor Life's money on a new ship man.
- 58:22Speaker 3: That's why. Now listen.
- 58:25Speaker 4: Make sure you check out the podcast, Make sure you
- 58:27Speaker 4: check out the Instagram account.
- 58:28Speaker 3: Talk tomorrow.
- 58:29Speaker 1: She let a bite
