Transcript
- 0:00Welcome to World View Matters, discussing controversial issues, discerning current events,
- 0:10defending biblical Christianity.
- 0:13No topic, off limits.
- 0:16And now, here's your host, David Firazzo.
- 0:19Hey guys, welcome to the show.
- 0:21We are talking again with the busy mom, Heidi, St. John, and we're thankful to hear her
- 0:28voice again and just have her contribute to World View Matters.
- 0:31Heidi, good to connect with you there on the West Coast.
- 0:34Hey my friend, it's great to be here.
- 0:37Thanks for having me back, always exciting talking to you.
- 0:40Yeah, it's fun.
- 0:41We did some radio last week.
- 0:42You were a co-hosting, or you were hosting guest hosting a show.
- 0:46And was it Portland?
- 0:47Yes, so the Portland Seattle rush hour traffic time, we got to do that for a couple of
- 0:53hours.
- 0:54So it was a lot of fun.
- 0:55I enjoyed it.
- 0:56You were a good host or peace in the podcast.
- 0:58Yeah, it is.
- 0:59Well, let's jump right into things today since we're limited on time, and we have a lot
- 1:02of topics.
- 1:03You were recently talking about target and boycotts.
- 1:07Or buycotts.
- 1:10Supporting businesses that you agree with their values, they agree with yours, and boycotting
- 1:14those businesses like target, Disney, whoever else, share a little bit about that for our listeners
- 1:20for our viewers.
- 1:21Yeah, well, I mean, the statistics are in, right?
- 1:25The fourth quarter earnings are coming in.
- 1:27Third quarter earnings have already been looked at for target and Disney and a lot of these
- 1:32other vote corporations, Bud Light.
- 1:34And guess what?
- 1:35You guys, your boycotts are working.
- 1:37That's what I want people to know.
- 1:38I heard a lot of people say it doesn't matter.
- 1:41We're never going to impact their bottom line.
- 1:42We're absolutely impacting their bottom line to the point where the target CEO took to
- 1:48the news the other day to try to defend it and then blatantly lied.
- 1:53He said that it wasn't true that they were putting tech friendly swimming suits out
- 1:56in front of children and promoting sexual ideology.
- 1:59He said it wasn't true that they had partnered with a satanist who was promoting target's
- 2:05pronoun merchandise.
- 2:07All of those things are verifiably true.
- 2:11So the fact that the CEO has to take to the news and lie about whether or not these boycotts
- 2:16are impacting them tells you that they're absolutely working.
- 2:19So let's talk more about what target was doing.
- 2:22Boycotts might work because they see the bottom line, the dollar.
- 2:26And they're going to make some changes when it comes to their stores.
- 2:28It's not going to change their worldview necessarily or their corporate policies, but
- 2:32it will change what they're putting out there in front of kids.
- 2:36And Heidi, I believe since about 2012, they have, they've had an LGBTQ section in their
- 2:42stores and online.
- 2:44And recently, I mean, last year or even earlier this year, they had some transgender pair
- 2:49of familiar.
- 2:50So have you heard that that stuff is going away?
- 2:55So I don't think it's going to go.
- 2:56I mean, they haven't learned their lesson entirely and listen to targets gotten themselves
- 2:59into a pretty bad spot because there are a lot of people like me who is like, listen,
- 3:04I don't like going into that store anymore.
- 3:05As soon as they said, you know, we're going to open up our bathrooms to whatever you identify
- 3:10as you don't have, there's no safeguards in place for young girls or women or children
- 3:15that go into these bathrooms with grown men who have a delusional fantasy that they
- 3:20are women.
- 3:21So the target lost my business when they made that decision, but they have compounded
- 3:27their financial woes by really promoting their pride wear, right?
- 3:32You go, I mean, they've ruined the month of June, right?
- 3:34So you walk into target in the month of June and the take pride hashtag is there, but
- 3:39they really, really, really hurt themselves.
- 3:42I think this year because they started promoting not just homosexual behavior and trying to
- 3:47encourage little children to wear, you know, t-shirts and shoes and bags and buttons that
- 3:54promote homosexuality.
- 3:56This year they went so far as to promote what they call tuck friendly swimming wear for
- 4:02boys.
- 4:03So, so there are some things to say look like girl swimming suits, but they're designed
- 4:06to hide the genitals of young boys to tuck them under so that these young boys can pretend
- 4:12to be girls.
- 4:13It's shocking.
- 4:14It's disgusting.
- 4:15And it's backfiring because parents, I think, finally, were like, oh, hey, yeah, no,
- 4:20we don't, we don't want to do that.
- 4:21And so everybody knows that target's doing this.
- 4:23So for them to say they're not doing it is laughable at this point because we've all been
- 4:28into their stores and videotape it.
- 4:31And it's getting out there, fortunately, and it is making a difference.
- 4:34So boycotts, work, friends, just don't ever give up on that.
- 4:39And I want to talk a little bit about what else is coming up because of the delusion.
- 4:44This just leads to some more demonic ideas, activity, and one of them is the idea that
- 4:50men can be pregnant.
- 4:51They're now doing uterus transplants for transgender women, which is a man that's getting a uterus
- 4:59so that he can try to have a baby.
- 5:01But Jeff, bring up that photo of the, there it is, the glamour cover.
- 5:05Heidi, do you see this?
- 5:06Yeah.
- 5:07Yeah, I just put that, I just put that on my Instagram.
- 5:10Okay.
- 5:11So you can talk.
- 5:12Now this is where we are.
- 5:13I don't know who Logan Brown is, but look at the lies.
- 5:16Remember Oprah had the so-called first pregnant man on her show.
- 5:20She contributed big time to the delusion.
- 5:22What are your thoughts, Heidi?
- 5:23Well, it's disgusting, right?
- 5:25So the guy who's on the cover of Glamour Magazine that you guys were just showing, his
- 5:29name's Logan Brown, he has a brand new book out that they're marketing to children called
- 5:33in my daddy's belly, where he talks about his pregnancy, her pregnancy, really.
- 5:40Because newsflash, this isn't actually that, this is not actually that amazing.
- 5:44This is a biological woman who gets pregnant.
- 5:47Yeah.
- 5:48That's the story.
- 5:49That's the literal story.
- 5:50Big, fat, hairy deal.
- 5:51There's the headline.
- 5:52Women have babies, right?
- 5:54Right.
- 5:55You know what should be the headline?
- 5:57This woman is injuring her unborn child by taking male hormones while she's pregnant.
- 6:04That should be the headline.
- 6:05The headline should be that her little baby in utero is awash in transgender and cross-sex
- 6:12hormones.
- 6:13We are talking about injuring an unborn developing child right now in his or her mother's womb,
- 6:19and this crazy person thinks that she is a man.
- 6:23Obviously, she's not a man because newsflash men don't get pregnant.
- 6:28Men can't have babies.
- 6:29Men don't have periods.
- 6:30I saw another, what we've done is, you know, in the erasing of truth, we're not talking
- 6:37about truth anymore because truth is however you feel, David.
- 6:39It's whatever you, it's whatever you feel.
- 6:42And so we need to get back to talking about what is demonstrably true and what is demonstrably
- 6:47real.
- 6:48There is a real biological difference between men and women.
- 6:52Gender, there's no place in biology for gender.
- 6:55Gender exists only in the mind, right?
- 6:57We need to get back to talking about what is real.
- 7:00And then go back to the conversation about how we define truth in this culture because
- 7:06the very fact that we are allowing mental illness to be seen as real.
- 7:11I mean, the guys, what do you do with the guy who says he's a dinosaur?
- 7:14Do we then go, well, you know, hey, you are a dinosaur.
- 7:18Why can't I identify as something I'm not and then get money from the federal government?
- 7:23Oh, wait, I can.
- 7:24I can do that because we have moved away from objective truth now.
- 7:29And I think you're right, David, we can go back to Oprah Winfrey, who back in the 80s
- 7:34started telling everybody that she had found her truth.
- 7:37Well, guess what?
- 7:38There is no your truth in my truth.
- 7:39There is only the truth, something's either true or it's wrong.
- 7:43There are facts and there are feelings that, unfortunately, in this country right now,
- 7:47we're leaning more toward telling people that their feelings are actually fact.
- 7:51What a time we're living and it's amazing.
- 7:53That's right.
- 7:54That's right.
- 7:55I think of the year before Target came up with their restroom policy and changed that.
- 7:59I think that was 2017.
- 8:01The year 2016 Oxford dictionaries word of the year was post truth.
- 8:07Post truth Oxford dictionary that year.
- 8:09Anyway, I want to mention, I follow GAB and get their newsletters from Andrew Torba.
- 8:16And they are encouraging people to embrace what they call a parallel economy, which supports
- 8:22family-owned small businesses that share your values.
- 8:26Isn't that how we should be shopping and consuming all of our lives?
- 8:31When you know a corporation has gone woke or demonic and does not share your values,
- 8:39unless there's only one or two and there's a few to choose from, there are alternatives
- 8:44out there.
- 8:45And where you get your coffee or your groceries or where you get your clothes or whatever
- 8:48else.
- 8:49Your thoughts on that, the parallel economy that Christians, conservatives, independents,
- 8:54people just are just our good citizens and patriots want to say you want to say.
- 8:58Common sense.
- 8:59Exactly.
- 9:00There's something.
- 9:01How about we start putting our money where our values are?
- 9:03This is exactly why we see these boycotts are working, right?
- 9:07Because Target is not getting the money that it used to get because people are like,
- 9:10you know what, hey, you do you, you want to put out tech-friendly swimwear and put homosexual
- 9:15agendas in front of our children?
- 9:17That's fine.
- 9:18You can go ahead and do that.
- 9:19It's a free country, but we're going to vote with our wallet and not come into your
- 9:23store.
- 9:24And the same thing is true.
- 9:25When you guys find companies that are actually doing good things, try giving these people
- 9:29your money.
- 9:30And I understand, you can't boycott everything, right?
- 9:33That's the, I think people say, well, you can't boycott everything.
- 9:36So why are we boycotting anything?
- 9:38Well, we're doing what we can.
- 9:41And so I love public square.
- 9:42I've been working in public square for a while now.
- 9:44I had their CEO on my podcast.
- 9:47And they're doing a great thing by just trying to open up an alternate economy for people
- 9:51who are really tired of giving money to organizations who then turn around and injure
- 9:56the culture.
- 9:57And so that's, that's why I have such a huge beef with Walt Disney and Disneyland Disney
- 10:04plus all of these organizations are actually hurting children.
- 10:08And when we give them our money, that's how they do it.
- 10:11So they're taking the money that we're giving them, hardworking Americans who are sick and
- 10:15tired of the garbage that's floating around in the culture and the lies that are being
- 10:18pushed on our children.
- 10:19And I think that's really been the breaking point for most parents.
- 10:24When you just go, you know, you guys want to, you know, you want to do your weird sexual
- 10:27fetishes and, you know, dress up as women, whatever.
- 10:30But when you start telling children that biological realities are no longer realities, when
- 10:35you start promoting this stuff to children as if it were real, now we have a really serious
- 10:41problem.
- 10:42And we've got to start addressing it.
- 10:43If we don't, and if we don't, it's going to continue to get worse.
- 10:47We call that's where you get the term, bud lighting, right?
- 10:50It's a verb now.
- 10:51You can be bud lighted.
- 10:52If you bud light someone, you just sent them into financial into a financial tailspin.
- 10:58I for one would like to see target go out of business.
- 11:01And I got a dream day.
- 11:02But you want to hear it?
- 11:03I got.
- 11:04Yes.
- 11:05Yes.
- 11:06No.
- 11:07My dream.
- 11:08Here's my dream.
- 11:09My dream is that target would go out of business.
- 11:10In spectacular fashion.
- 11:11Like I want to see them gone like Kmart is gone, right?
- 11:13So target will go out of business in spectacular fashion and then we'll come in and we'll put
- 11:17homeschool resource centers in all the empty target buildings.
- 11:20I got a dream.
- 11:21That's funny.
- 11:22By the way, we didn't mention that.
- 11:24First of all, they would never acknowledge why they went on a business.
- 11:27I don't think.
- 11:28But tell us about the homeschool recent or center real quick.
- 11:30We mentioned it last time you were on for our listeners or viewers that are just seeing
- 11:34you here.
- 11:35What is that all about?
- 11:37Well, the homeschool resource center was started by my husband and myself back in 2017,
- 11:41really in a response to Barack Obama's ridiculous bathroom mandates, right?
- 11:46That mandated that little girls would now be unsafe in public school restrooms.
- 11:52And we've been doing homeschool, homeschool co-ops for years and years, but we opened up
- 11:56a full time homeschool resource center where parents can come.
- 12:00And if you're homeschooling your child and you just say, listen, I can handle everything,
- 12:03but chemistry.
- 12:04Awesome.
- 12:05We have a chemistry tutor for you.
- 12:07We have all kinds of classes teachers come in here and they are independent contractors.
- 12:11And basically we open up our space and we allow tutoring to happen here five days a week.
- 12:17So right now we have 700 students, a little over 700 students at the homeschool resource
- 12:21center, over 100 classes that are being offered.
- 12:25We're bringing back the trades again.
- 12:26We're teaching children automotive and woodworking.
- 12:30All the things that are actually wait for it, really useful in the real world.
- 12:35And so while your kids are going off to, you know, Washington State University and they're
- 12:39getting a degree in lesbian dance theory and then they come out and can't get a job,
- 12:43we are working with parents and students here to give them real life skills and to shore
- 12:49up the classes where parents are just like, you know, I just either can't teach, I don't
- 12:53feel like I can teach that or I don't want to teach it.
- 12:56And so if you come to Heidi St. John or to my husband here at the homeschool resource center
- 13:00and say, Hey, I've got a child is going to be in eighth grade next year.
- 13:04These are where I feel weak.
- 13:06Our job is to come alongside and remove every obstacle for homeschooling so that parents
- 13:11can pull their kids out of these broken institutions and take again ownership and responsibility
- 13:18for the education of their children.
- 13:19It's really exciting.
- 13:20People can find that that firmly planted family dot org.
- 13:25Awesome.
- 13:26Firmly planted family dot org and we've got to take a break.
- 13:29But one time we should do a show on the useless classes and degrees and things that people
- 13:35can study in college.
- 13:37We should do that sometime, Heidi, but we got to take a quick break.
- 13:39We'll be right back with Heidi St. John on World View Matters.
- 13:43Today's show is brought to you by Harbinger's Daily.
- 13:46World news biblically understood.
- 13:49Stay informed at Harbinger's Daily dot com.
- 14:00So I want to just thank Stephen from Seamy Valley, California who sent in a donation to
- 14:05World View Matters.
- 14:06We are a nonprofit and we could use your support, Mike from Oshkosh, Wisconsin, Nancy from
- 14:12Sherwood, Wisconsin, and Randy from Green Bay.
- 14:15We have listeners and viewers from New York, California.
- 14:18We're starting to grow the audience.
- 14:20So thank you.
- 14:21One reason we want to tell you about this is because we want to get you one of these mugs
- 14:24for a special campaign that we're doing right now between now and Christmas.
- 14:28You can help support the show and production costs of World View Matters with either a $25
- 14:33or a month donation or a one time gift of $200, we'll send you this mug.
- 14:40And it says, World View Matters on one side and the other side, it says, keep speaking
- 14:45the truth about things that matter.
- 14:46Okay, right back to Heidi St. John, before we talk about the university campus and what's
- 14:51going on there a little bit with the idiocy, the wokeness and the anti-semitism and everything
- 14:56else, Heidi, I wanted to bring up this book cover that we didn't get a chance to really
- 15:00touch on earlier.
- 15:02In my daddy's belly, the miracle of male birth, I know you've got something to say about
- 15:07this.
- 15:08Well, it's no miracle at all because there is no such thing as male birth.
- 15:12It actually just makes me laugh, right?
- 15:14The miracle of male birth, that's like me saying, the miracle of Santa Claus, everybody,
- 15:19Santa Claus, you know, and we all know that Santa Claus isn't real.
- 15:24And it's not real that men can have babies.
- 15:27This is a woman.
- 15:28That's why I said, I mean, to me, I feel like the headline needs to read that this woman
- 15:34is injuring her unborn child because she has a mental illness and she's putting her child's
- 15:39health at risk in order to participate in this delusion.
- 15:43And instead of coming alongside this woman and trying to help her with her unborn baby,
- 15:47Glamour Magazine is putting her on the front of their magazine and making it some sort
- 15:51of transgender hero.
- 15:53It's disgusting.
- 15:55It's sad to watch and shame on Glamour Magazine, I mean, all I'm sorry, but all of the wonderful
- 16:00women's awards are now going to men and people keep talking about the patriarchy.
- 16:04I'm like, you want to hear the pay, you want the patriarchy?
- 16:07There it is.
- 16:08That's the patriarchy.
- 16:09The patriarchy is on the cover of Glamour Magazine right now and looking at all these
- 16:13men who are competing against women in sports.
- 16:15So women wanting to willing to give up the most precious thing they have, which is their
- 16:21ability to create and nurture a little human being inside of them.
- 16:26And we're willing to flood our bodies with cross-sex hormones, injure unborn children in
- 16:31the name of woke ideology and transgender so-called medicine.
- 16:36It's a shameful time for the country.
- 16:38And I frankly think we need to see more and more people speaking the truth.
- 16:41But David, you and I both know this is the problem.
- 16:44We have moved away from objective truth.
- 16:47And now we believe that your truth is your truth and my truth is my truth, which of
- 16:51course, is a lie.
- 16:53Speaking of Glamour, a transgender model was named 2023 Woman of the Year.
- 17:00So in other words, a man, step aside, ladies, step aside, get off the podium, ladies in
- 17:07sports and in beauty contest, Glamour names, a man, transgender model, woman of the year.
- 17:14This is, it's demonic.
- 17:16It is a delusion.
- 17:17And guys, just keep spreading the truth about this because God doesn't change.
- 17:22Jesus is the same yesterday, today and forever.
- 17:25And the Bible doesn't change.
- 17:26Truth doesn't change.
- 17:27But let's get over to the University campus now, Heidi, because I got a little note from
- 17:34Christopher Rufo, he's been talking about this for quite some time.
- 17:39And he went on Varnie and company to discuss academia's response to the recent demonic
- 17:45Hamas terror attacks on Israel.
- 17:48And Stuart Varnie asked Chris Rufo, if the violent, anti-Semitic pro-Hamas demonstrations
- 17:54on American campuses were a sign of entrenched liberalism.
- 17:59And here's what Rufo said.
- 18:00And I want to get your response, Heidi St. John quote, it's a few steps further than liberalism.
- 18:07And the classic sense was the idea that you have a respectful civil discourse.
- 18:11We've now basically imported violent third world ideologies onto American campuses.
- 18:18American left wing activists and even many professors at prestigious universities have
- 18:23been cheering on the Hamas terror attacks against Israel.
- 18:28This is all part of a longstanding 50 year process of the capture of our educational institutions.
- 18:35We're seeing it for the first time in all of its fully exposed hideousness.
- 18:40But this is merely just the tip of the iceberg.
- 18:44And quote from Chris Rufo, Heidi St. John, your response.
- 18:47Well, I think what he's just done is expose the lie of multiculturalism, right?
- 18:53The left loves multiculturalism and they are making a moral equivalence between Hamas
- 19:00and the IDF going and defending its own people.
- 19:04Israel has every right to defend itself.
- 19:06And what we're going to see, the thing that's really frightening, David, about this,
- 19:09is that I believe, you know, I think some people will disagree with me,
- 19:13but I believe that that's what's happening on our southern border.
- 19:15I think we have, we have basically have an invasion happening on our southern border.
- 19:19And the ridiculous ideology in the left says, oh, these people just want to come here.
- 19:24They're a religion of peace.
- 19:25No, they're not.
- 19:26They see you as an infidel, right?
- 19:28I love, I saw a guy on the news the other day, you know, talking about how he just loves Palestine.
- 19:33Clearly gay, he was holding up a sign that said, queers for Palestine.
- 19:36I just want to go, who's going to tell this guy the truth?
- 19:39Who's going to tell him you go over there?
- 19:41And they're going to throw you off a rooftop, you ding dong.
- 19:44What is that?
- 19:45What does that mean?
- 19:46They kill homosexuals.
- 19:48That's, that's their point.
- 19:49That's what they do.
- 19:50Yeah, that's exactly what they do.
- 19:51Yeah, that's exactly what they do.
- 19:53And here's this guy standing up in front of a whole bunch of people.
- 19:56The University of Seattle, you know, queers for Palestine.
- 20:01Well, guess what?
- 20:01Palestine is not for you.
- 20:03So it's ridiculous.
- 20:05What we've done is we've lied to people, gets back to, you know, the realities of life again.
- 20:09The experiment by the radical left in multiculturalism that believes that all the cultures just want to get along.
- 20:16They were all the same, that we all value the same thing.
- 20:19We do not all value the same thing.
- 20:23And believe me when I say that the religion of Islam is not a peaceful religion, these, and this is why you see them trying to form a caliphate again.
- 20:31They want to, they want to kill you if you disagree with them.
- 20:35It's either be converted to Islam or you're an infidel and we're going to kill you.
- 20:40And if the way that what's happening in Israel is not going to come here to the United States, we don't understand the nature of the war we're in.
- 20:46Well, it's, it's here.
- 20:47It just hasn't manifest yet, you know, in the natural, it's here.
- 20:51I mean, we've had open borders and millions have come across and we have no idea where they have gone in the country.
- 20:59Heidi, you said something interesting about, you know, queers for Palestine, strange bedfellows.
- 21:04We've, we've got the Black Lives Matter Global Network Foundation marching in the Palestine, pro Palestine parades.
- 21:12And so you're thinking, okay, now we've got the Marxists and supposedly the ones that support Black Lives, but they don't support all Black Lives.
- 21:20And if we got the LGBTQ in some of them report, it's really crazy what these are all coming together.
- 21:28But if you note the common denominator, it is a anti Christian, anti Judeo Christian worldview, your thoughts.
- 21:35Yeah, that's absolutely what it is.
- 21:37I mean, this is a spiritual battle from son up to son down.
- 21:39I believe that we are coming to the end of the church age and things are really ramping up.
- 21:44And we see this in our United States government right now.
- 21:47Mike Johnson, the new speaker of the house is being openly mocked now by the legacy media, openly mocked by the former speaker of, for the United States, Jen Socky,
- 21:58who's making fun of him and mocking him, he's being mocked by Bill Mar, not because of his policy positions.
- 22:05This is really important, everybody lean in, he's not being mocked because of his policy positions.
- 22:09He's not being mocked because he wants to lower the national debt or secure the southern border.
- 22:14He's being mocked because he's a Christian, full stop.
- 22:18They're making fun of him because he is a Christian.
- 22:21And I have been saying for years, and I think the handwriting is on the wall, we are going to see the full blown persecution of Christians in this country.
- 22:28If we do not wake up and begin again to get back to the founding of this country, this country was founded on Judeo Christian values.
- 22:34We are not the same as the people in the Middle East.
- 22:37This experiment and multiculturalism now has come home to roost in Rashida, to leave.
- 22:42And Ilhan Omar and so many people now who are seated in positions of authority in this country,
- 22:48openly hate Christians and it is open season on Christians right now in the United States.
- 22:54I know persecution is on the rise.
- 22:56I mean, look at the pro-life pregnancy centers that have been bombed or attacked, you know,
- 23:00arson and all kinds of other things.
- 23:02Heidi, I had a guest on Tony Garoulet with radical truth and he was talking about the Muslim brotherhood, Hamas and Islam.
- 23:09And one of their leaders even says we start with the Saturday worshipers, meaning the Jews,
- 23:13and then we're going after the Sunday worshipers, meaning the Christians.
- 23:16So this is out there.
- 23:18It's just that we're a little naive and ignorant over here.
- 23:21I want to go back to Mike Johnson, though, because Heidi is not exaggerating friends because House Democrats responded to him.
- 23:28And it's like, here's what they put out.
- 23:30Welcome to the Republican era of not even pretending that they aren't forcing their religion on Congress and the American people.
- 23:38This is a slippery, dangerous slope to theocracy.
- 23:42Dun, dun, dun.
- 23:44Heidi, you're, they're thinking, okay, just because he's an open Christian,
- 23:48meaning he supports the biblical worldview on all the issues, right?
- 23:51And they're saying, oh, he wants to force jam that down our throat.
- 23:55It's not the case at all, but that's what they're putting out.
- 23:58Well, I mean, look at, look at the, look at the words that they're using.
- 24:01Theocracy, you know, I don't know a single Christian who wants a theocracy.
- 24:06Actually, Christians are the only ones who are saying, hey,
- 24:09everybody can have a seat at the table.
- 24:11We're not trying to force you to believe what we believe.
- 24:13But we do know that there is a moral underpinning.
- 24:16And that's what this is all about.
- 24:17This is a spiritual battle from son up to son down.
- 24:20Mike Johnson doesn't want a theocracy anymore than Heidi St. John wants a theocracy.
- 24:25Because in the United States, we have what's called freedom of religion.
- 24:28So you can choose to do what you want to do.
- 24:31But we commit things from a particular worldview.
- 24:34And our worldview says that we are to love one another.
- 24:38Our worldview says that we have that we have a gospel that says there's hope
- 24:42beyond the current world that we exist in.
- 24:44But they're not we're not forcing you to become a Christian.
- 24:47And this idea that somehow Mike Johnson would want to institute a theocracy and force people
- 24:52to become Christians goes against Christianity.
- 24:55That's not what he wants to do.
- 24:57Also, I think it's really important that we we talk very openly about the terminology that
- 25:02they're pegging Christians with starting with Christian nationalism, right?
- 25:06Because what they're trying to do is make Christians seem like they're unreasonable people
- 25:10who want to force our religion on other people.
- 25:13Nothing could be further from the truth.
- 25:15This is a lie from the pit of hell.
- 25:17And also if Christian nationalism means, I don't even know what that word means.
- 25:21They made it up.
- 25:22But if Christian nationalism means I love Jesus, then I love my country.
- 25:25Well, then that's what I am.
- 25:27I must be a Christian nationalist because I love the Lord Jesus.
- 25:30I love people as myself, which is the greatest memory.
- 25:33Love the Lord your God and then love your neighbor.
- 25:36This is how Christians are called to live.
- 25:38And this is how those of us who are walking with Jesus do live.
- 25:41And I would put Mike Johnson in that category.
- 25:44Listen, they're making fun of them because for lots of reasons,
- 25:47but also because he has covenant eyes on his phone.
- 25:50And he and his son routinely talk with each other about their desire to remain free
- 25:57from pornography addiction.
- 25:59And what did he get on the floor of the House of Representatives for that?
- 26:01He got made fun of what an amazing time to be a Christian in this country.
- 26:05You mentioned Christian nationalism, right?
- 26:07And if you can't be a solid Christian and still be proud of your country,
- 26:14there's a problem.
- 26:15But people are even afraid to say, yeah, I'm thankful for America.
- 26:18We're exceptional because they've since January 6th,
- 26:21they've floated the domestic terrorist label on Christians, conservatives,
- 26:26mega Republicans, and they're trying to lump everybody together.
- 26:30So they have a common enemy, those who believe in freedom,
- 26:32the biblical worldview, religious freedom, of course, the Constitution,
- 26:36which the left is trying to shred, but hiding.
- 26:40Yeah, we're, believe it or not, out of time already.
- 26:43I knew with you, come on, we could do three hours, maybe next time.
- 26:48Thanks for your time.
