- 0:34Speaker 2: Jacob Miseerowski.
- 0:35Speaker 3: What heritage is that?
- 0:37Speaker 2: You know?

- 0:45Speaker 1: I do not know any of the family there.
- 0:47Speaker 2: So too far, it's too far.
- 0:49Speaker 1: So I couldn't even play for the national team. I
- 0:51Speaker 1: don't think. Oh do they have a national They do? Wow,
- 0:55Speaker 1: they made it, not this one but the one before
- 0:57Speaker 1: the WBC.
- 0:58Speaker 2: You should go, Bro put them.
- 1:00Speaker 1: I'm on the mat to be sick. Yeah.
- 1:02Speaker 2: Okay, So before we get started, Bro, we are in
- 1:07Speaker 2: the Fister Hotel, and you know, walking in, I was
- 1:12Speaker 2: a little scared, you know, walking in. It's daytime and
- 1:14Speaker 2: I'm scared in the rooms. Is this your first time
- 1:18Speaker 2: in the Fister?
- 1:18Speaker 1: It is my first time?
- 1:19Speaker 2: Do you feel how'd you feel walking in?
- 1:21Speaker 1: I felt like I was walking on like the Titanic
- 1:23Speaker 1: or something like that. Like I felt like I was
- 1:25Speaker 1: back in the nineteen seventies, sixties.
- 1:28Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean probably before that, but that that. This
- 1:31Speaker 2: is We need to get through this, you know, so
- 1:34Speaker 2: I can feel safe again. But have you ever have
- 1:38Speaker 2: you ever encountered any ghosts or anything? I have not.
- 1:42Speaker 1: No. I grew up in the Midwest, so there's not
- 1:44Speaker 1: you know much there.
- 1:46Speaker 2: Okay, did you ever watch like Ghostbusters or anything?
- 1:49Speaker 1: Bro? Yeah? Yeah all the time.
- 1:50Speaker 3: And did that's creepy out or you loved it?
- 1:52Speaker 1: I loved it? He was funny.
- 1:53Speaker 2: So if here, if this say they asked you to
- 1:57Speaker 2: go on the show? Yeah, would you go?
- 1:59Speaker 1: Yeah? I want to. I want to see something.
- 2:02Speaker 2: You want you?
- 2:02Speaker 1: I want one of these cameras just to topple over,
- 2:05Speaker 1: just play. I just want to see something.
- 2:07Speaker 2: See. I don't have time for that would ruin my life.
- 2:12Speaker 2: You know, it wouldn't just ruin just the second. Like now,
- 2:16Speaker 2: I'm thinking it's going to be everywhere, you know, and
- 2:18Speaker 2: I can't.
- 2:19Speaker 3: I can't go about life like that.
- 2:20Speaker 2: But it is what it is, Okay, So I want
- 2:23Speaker 2: to get started with the first game. It's called make
- 2:25Speaker 2: the call. Joe Adell got three right, all right, So
- 2:28Speaker 2: what we're going to show is a pitch and you
- 2:31Speaker 2: have to guess if it's a striker ball. And this
- 2:34Speaker 2: is the a BS Era. You know, with the a
- 2:36Speaker 2: BS Era, everything's going to be close, so you have
- 2:39Speaker 2: to guess if it's a striker ball. If you're wrong,
- 2:42Speaker 2: you got to answer one of these questions.
- 2:45Speaker 1: Okay. Can I also just start that the Brewers are
- 2:48Speaker 1: really big on the pitchers, not challenging anything, and it's
- 2:51Speaker 1: all through the catchers, So that means you should should
- 2:54Speaker 1: be that should be answering a lot some.
- 2:57Speaker 3: Good questions in here.
- 2:58Speaker 2: So all right, can we run the tape please?
- 3:04Speaker 1: I got shrike. I got that being top corner. That
- 3:06Speaker 1: was that was a quick trigger. I mean, yeah there
- 3:09Speaker 1: you go. Oh wow, yeah, good for you. See that's
- 3:13Speaker 1: where I live. I live the top rail. So these
- 3:15Speaker 1: are so if you're going bottom away I might be
- 3:18Speaker 1: in trouble.
- 3:19Speaker 2: Okay, So that was that was one? Okay, So can
- 3:23Speaker 2: we run Pitch two? Oh?
- 3:26Speaker 1: I think that's a ball. I think that's up.
- 3:29Speaker 2: Yeah, Joe, I'm telling you down a down away.
- 3:33Speaker 1: I'm answering about a billion questions.
- 3:35Speaker 2: All right, So you're two for two. Joe went, oh
- 3:39Speaker 2: for two, and then he got the last three. Right,
- 3:41Speaker 2: So let's see. Uh, let's see which way you go.
- 3:43Speaker 2: Pitch three.
- 3:46Speaker 1: Oh, I think that's a ball. I.
- 3:49Speaker 2: Oh, you can't retract.
- 3:51Speaker 1: I'm going ball. I think it tails out a man.
- 3:56Speaker 1: That isn't a lot more zone than I thought. I
- 3:59Speaker 1: thought that was on corner. All right, here we go,
- 4:02Speaker 1: let's go this blue one? There you go? Oh okay,
- 4:08Speaker 1: what is your weirdest baseball ritual? Okay? So during every
- 4:13Speaker 1: game when I pitch, YEP, I only chewse one piece
- 4:17Speaker 1: of gum the whole game.
- 4:18Speaker 2: The whole game, the whole game. So why is that
- 4:22Speaker 2: you're in there for a long time? I don't choose them.
- 4:24Speaker 2: You're chewing one piece of gum.
- 4:25Speaker 1: So I get two hours?
- 4:27Speaker 2: Yes, and there's a thousand pieces in there.
- 4:29Speaker 1: There's more than that.
- 4:30Speaker 2: Yeah, so it runs out of flavor. You just I
- 4:33Speaker 2: just keep chewing is and that's just something like I
- 4:36Speaker 2: don't know what if you, if you? What if you?
- 4:39Speaker 2: I mean, I don't know that this is a real
- 4:40Speaker 2: thing for you. But we're just gonna throw it out there.
- 4:42Speaker 3: You give up five and two innings, you're still chewing
- 4:46Speaker 3: this thing.
- 4:46Speaker 1: Still chewing it. So okay, So funny. I was in
- 4:50Speaker 1: triple A and I changed my piece of gum the
- 4:52Speaker 1: next inning give up like a grand slam a basic
- 4:56Speaker 1: Like it just kind of started with that, and like
- 4:59Speaker 1: I was like, screw it, I'm never doing that again
- 5:02Speaker 1: in the same piece.
- 5:02Speaker 2: They didn't have anything to do with the clothes or
- 5:04Speaker 2: anything else.
- 5:05Speaker 1: Piece of gum. Yeah, the sugar free oh you go
- 5:09Speaker 1: sugar free. Yeah, the the it lasts like the structure
- 5:13Speaker 1: of the gum.
- 5:14Speaker 2: Oh okay, okay, So the sugar one.
- 5:16Speaker 1: Like breaks down, it kind of gets like, you know, weird,
- 5:19Speaker 1: but like the sugar free one stays like a solid
- 5:22Speaker 1: piece of gum.
- 5:23Speaker 2: And and you tried all of them, and did you
- 5:26Speaker 2: have the most success with with the sugar free?
- 5:28Speaker 3: Is that how you landed on?
- 5:29Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 5:29Speaker 2: Okay, okay, okay, good for you for you sugar But
- 5:33Speaker 2: I mean we're all weird. Yes, exactly in our own way. Okay,
- 5:37Speaker 2: so let's go pitch four.
- 5:38Speaker 1: Please, that's the eyeball, that's that's all.
- 5:43Speaker 3: It's got to be a ball.
- 5:45Speaker 1: He caught that bad. Wow.
- 5:48Speaker 2: All right, two for four, Now you can only tie
- 5:52Speaker 2: mister Joe we Pokemon.
- 5:54Speaker 1: Do you think your player comp would be? And why? Okay?
- 6:02Speaker 1: I don't know. I think like, uh, well, you're gonna
- 6:07Speaker 1: have to help me. The charge aard or Charmander char
- 6:12Speaker 1: million charts are right, so i'd be a char million
- 6:16Speaker 1: the middle, the middle evolved, not not the big charge
- 6:19Speaker 1: aard yet?
- 6:20Speaker 3: So why char million?
- 6:22Speaker 1: Just because like you, you got that future of being
- 6:25Speaker 1: a big started.
- 6:28Speaker 2: You got out there yet. Okay, so you're you you
- 6:30Speaker 2: were what was it, charm charge aard char million?
- 6:34Speaker 1: Char what uh charm Charmander, char million charge Charmander.
- 6:39Speaker 2: Yeah, and now you're I took one step up char million? Okay, okay,
- 6:46Speaker 2: so mister char million, Okay, So pitch five.
- 6:51Speaker 1: The one, Yeah.
- 6:54Speaker 2: That has to be there.
- 6:55Speaker 3: It looks like a strike to be but we're about
- 6:57Speaker 3: to find out.
- 6:59Speaker 1: Oh wow, well I warned jobs.
- 7:07Speaker 2: You did say it. You did say it. You started
- 7:12Speaker 2: off so hot, I did.
- 7:13Speaker 1: I did would you rather give up your ulcer appearance
- 7:18Speaker 1: or your Pokemon binder. Oh wow, wow, that's a tough question.
- 7:23Speaker 2: That's a tough question.
- 7:25Speaker 1: I think I gotta go Pokemon binder.
- 7:28Speaker 3: Pokemon Binder.
- 7:29Speaker 1: That experience of being at the Altar game was insane.
- 7:32Speaker 3: All right, we'll talk about that.
- 7:35Speaker 2: I don't want to get too too much into that
- 7:38Speaker 2: just yet, so let's switch gears. Thanks for playing the game.
- 7:40Speaker 2: You are currently in uh second place. Well, there's only
- 7:47Speaker 2: been two.
- 7:47Speaker 1: Not bad, not bad last.
- 7:50Speaker 2: Technically, but all right, so I want to talk a
- 7:54Speaker 2: little bit about it was either your last started to
- 7:56Speaker 2: start before against the Yankees, Bro, you threw seven of
- 7:59Speaker 2: the fastest pictures pitches by a starting picture in mob history.
- 8:03Speaker 3: Were you just feeling good?
- 8:05Speaker 1: Okay? To be honest, I felt like absolute shit? Really, dude,
- 8:09Speaker 1: I felt awful in that bulletin.
- 8:10Speaker 2: Why did you feel awful because you weren't throwing like
- 8:13Speaker 2: hitting your spots? Oh had my.
- 8:15Speaker 1: Spots, and like my arm was kind of just like
- 8:18Speaker 1: hanging a little bit in that bullpen. It was kind
- 8:20Speaker 1: of just like kind of going through the motions to
- 8:22Speaker 1: get myself warm in that bullpen. And all of a sudden, yeah,
- 8:25Speaker 1: I stepped on in the field and first batter steps up,
- 8:28Speaker 1: you know, just kind of jumped out and was so.
- 8:30Speaker 2: You didn't you didn't even really like you were just
- 8:33Speaker 2: like whatever, I'm just gonna throw it.
- 8:35Speaker 1: Yeah, that's I was kind of I honestly was sitting
- 8:37Speaker 1: in the dugout just like just ask myself, how the
- 8:41Speaker 1: hell I'm gonna do this?
- 8:42Speaker 2: Okay, So when you feel good, then what.
- 8:44Speaker 1: I don't know. I never feel good.
- 8:46Speaker 2: You feel bad and you're doing it. You never feel good,
- 8:49Speaker 2: but you're throwing a one hundred and three.
- 8:51Speaker 1: I guess like it's it's such such a weird feeling
- 8:55Speaker 1: to like go in that dugout. There's so much stress
- 8:58Speaker 1: going on in my head of like oh god, I
- 9:01Speaker 1: can't mess this up and like all this and you're
- 9:03Speaker 1: kind of like I overthink everything. So maybe it's not
- 9:06Speaker 1: feeling terrible, but it's not like up to what I'm
- 9:10Speaker 1: thinking my standard should be in a way.
- 9:13Speaker 2: Do you know how hard it is to hit one
- 9:14Speaker 2: hundred miles an hout? Like just I mean, you barely
- 9:17Speaker 2: see it.
- 9:18Speaker 1: I can't hit ninety, but gos.
- 9:21Speaker 2: Okay, so what's that? What's the hardest you think you
- 9:23Speaker 2: can actually throw a ball.
- 9:25Speaker 1: I think that hundred, one hundred and four, one hundred
- 9:28Speaker 1: and five, I think I could touch five.
- 9:30Speaker 3: You think you could touch one hundred and five? I
- 9:31Speaker 3: mean I had to feel really bad that day.
- 9:35Speaker 2: Oh my gosh, So you think you can hit one
- 9:38Speaker 2: hundred and five? Like, do you think like in a
- 9:41Speaker 2: couple of years, hopefully what I'm done planned that people
- 9:44Speaker 2: are just gonna be doing this all the time.
- 9:47Speaker 1: I don't think so. I think I think it'll be
- 9:50Speaker 1: more common for a starter to be touching one hundred.
- 9:53Speaker 1: But I don't think you'll have many guys sitting one hundred.
- 9:57Speaker 3: Yeah, sitting on a hundred.
- 9:58Speaker 2: Have you seen your Baseball savant page? No, it's all red,
- 10:01Speaker 2: it's all dark.
- 10:02Speaker 1: Kay.
- 10:02Speaker 3: I didn't know if you looked at it.
- 10:03Speaker 1: No, I don't.
- 10:04Speaker 2: Okay, Yeah, I mean they get you know, fans love
- 10:08Speaker 2: that type of stuff.
- 10:09Speaker 1: Look at that it's all red. Okay, that's pretty good.
- 10:13Speaker 1: I'd say that's decent.
- 10:14Speaker 2: I mean, yeah, I mean you know what it.
- 10:16Speaker 3: I mean, like, good for you.
- 10:19Speaker 2: We have Paul Schemes on here and uh last year
- 10:24Speaker 2: and he started as a catcher and you started as
- 10:26Speaker 2: a catcher.
- 10:27Speaker 3: When did you catch him? When'd you stop catching.
- 10:29Speaker 1: Uh I caught through like basically all of like elementary
- 10:33Speaker 1: and middle school, and I stopped catching probably my freshman
- 10:38Speaker 1: or sophomore year of high school. Oh okay, and so
- 10:42Speaker 1: I started getting scholarships from different schools and.
- 10:45Speaker 2: All that from catching though, from pitching.
- 10:47Speaker 1: From pitching. Yeah yeah, And uh.
- 10:50Speaker 2: So would you go like we played seven six innings
- 10:53Speaker 2: then right, yeah, you would go like whatever, you would
- 10:56Speaker 2: go catch five innings and then close or something. No.
- 11:01Speaker 1: So usually when I caught, then I caught the whole game,
- 11:04Speaker 1: and then I'd pitch like, you know, the next game
- 11:07Speaker 1: or whatever it would be.
- 11:08Speaker 3: You throw a lot of guys out.
- 11:09Speaker 1: I had a few. Yeah.
- 11:12Speaker 2: So when you when you made the transition to pitching,
- 11:15Speaker 2: did you hit anymore, because just looking at you, there's.
- 11:18Speaker 3: No way that you really were.
- 11:19Speaker 1: No.
- 11:20Speaker 2: I wasn't.
- 11:20Speaker 1: No, that's no disrespect, no, no, no, it's long swing. Yeah,
- 11:24Speaker 1: it's just uh no, I I basically dropped it.
- 11:28Speaker 2: Okay, So you just pitched when you got to the
- 11:30Speaker 2: high school, and you didn't play a position or nothing.
- 11:33Speaker 1: I mean I played outfield a little bit, but that
- 11:35Speaker 1: was just because our outfield sucked and needed players.
- 11:39Speaker 2: Did you play any other sports?
- 11:40Speaker 1: No, just baseball once high school hit I mean I was,
- 11:44Speaker 1: I was, you know, multiple sports. I played basketball, football,
- 11:47Speaker 1: a little bit of soccer like growing up. But where
- 11:50Speaker 1: you're from again, kse, Kansas City.
- 11:52Speaker 2: Kansas City, and like, do they swim and stuff there?
- 11:55Speaker 2: I figure you look like a swimmer or something.
- 11:56Speaker 1: And there are there are like pools and stuff around.
- 11:59Speaker 1: But no, it's not. It's not big.
- 12:01Speaker 2: Okay, So Kansas City and you just hung out? Okay,
- 12:05Speaker 2: good for you, I mean, is what it is? So
- 12:07Speaker 2: I do I do have a question if you could
- 12:13Speaker 2: make a five pitch arsenal only using one of your pitches,
- 12:18Speaker 2: and you can use other guys pitches around the league. Okay,
- 12:24Speaker 2: who okay, so let's start with fastball.
- 12:26Speaker 1: I think I gotta go with my fastball.
- 12:28Speaker 2: Your fastball, okay, let's go with a slid air sweeper,
- 12:32Speaker 2: whichever situation.
- 12:33Speaker 3: You want to use.
- 12:35Speaker 1: I really like skins.
- 12:36Speaker 3: Skins is sweeper.
- 12:37Speaker 1: Yeah, okay, thing's gross, It's okay.
- 12:39Speaker 2: So your fastball skiens this slider sweeper situation.
- 12:45Speaker 1: Yeah. Curveball, kershaw, can it be former U?
- 12:50Speaker 2: But yes, that that would grows.
- 12:54Speaker 1: Another big curve. Honestly, I really like ever McGill's knuckle
- 13:01Speaker 1: curve big Yeah, So.
- 13:04Speaker 2: So McGill's curveball, you're a fastball, schemes a sweeper. What
- 13:09Speaker 2: about a sinker or splinker or whatever you want to
- 13:13Speaker 2: call it? Sinker?
- 13:14Speaker 1: Yeah, show hey throws one. That one's gross. I'm trying
- 13:22Speaker 1: to think about a good sinker. I'm blanking on that splitter.
- 13:27Speaker 1: Oh you can go forkball too, but that's different. There'd
- 13:31Speaker 1: be more change up.
- 13:32Speaker 3: Okay, so.
- 13:34Speaker 2: Let's go.
- 13:35Speaker 1: Let's go show his showy sinker.
- 13:37Speaker 2: Okay, show hay sinker splinker situation, not Yamamoto.
- 13:41Speaker 1: I like Yamamoto, but I think I like shows a
- 13:43Speaker 1: little better.
- 13:44Speaker 2: Okay, show hayes uh sinker splinker? Okay, what about and
- 13:49Speaker 2: just change up, just straight up change.
- 13:50Speaker 1: I think I gotta go with the ghost fork from
- 13:53Speaker 1: the guy with the mets. The Why am I blanking
- 13:55Speaker 1: on his name? Oh yeah, there you go saying, so
- 14:00Speaker 1: it's a ghost ghost fork whatever? Yeah? Yeah, and that thing.
- 14:06Speaker 2: So you got change up from senga mm hmm, show
- 14:11Speaker 2: hay splitter. Yeah, mcguil's curveball. H Scheins is sweeper and
- 14:19Speaker 2: then you're fast. Well that sounds like a good picture
- 14:21Speaker 2: to me.
- 14:21Speaker 1: That sounds decent.
- 14:23Speaker 2: I mean, it's pretty much pretty much what you are anyway.
- 14:26Speaker 2: So all right, I want to start with, uh, you know,
- 14:29Speaker 2: kind of the rise of you. I know, when you're
- 14:32Speaker 2: in Triple A, you got the call, but you blocked it.
- 14:37Speaker 3: What happened?
- 14:38Speaker 1: Okay, So we just got into Norfolk, Virginia and the
- 14:43Speaker 1: night before when we flew in, it was just trudential downpour,
- 14:48Speaker 1: just raining like crazy, and they ended up pulling our
- 14:51Speaker 1: bags off and our bags just got absolutely soaked. Okay,
- 14:55Speaker 1: you know, because you're in Triple A. Yeah, they don't
- 14:57Speaker 1: care about your so uh, you know, we go back
- 15:01Speaker 1: to the hotel room. Everything's soaked where I mean I
- 15:04Speaker 1: had socks hanging in above vents. Me and my roommate
- 15:07Speaker 1: had all the hangers out, and we're just hanging all
- 15:09Speaker 1: of our shirts everything. And yeah, we just go We
- 15:13Speaker 1: went to bed and it's like it was like six
- 15:17Speaker 1: thirty in the morning, and like at the night before,
- 15:20Speaker 1: we got in at like ten or eleven o'clock at night,
- 15:23Speaker 1: and I was like I'm not oh at least yeah,
- 15:27Speaker 1: and I was like I'm not answering this phone call,
- 15:29Speaker 1: like it could have been anyone, and I'm just declining
- 15:32Speaker 1: and then all of a sudden, how many calls?
- 15:33Speaker 2: Was it?
- 15:34Speaker 1: Two miscalls? I answered on the third one, yeah, and
- 15:37Speaker 1: I answer it and he didn't. Rick Sweet, our manager
- 15:41Speaker 1: goes mans, you better answer your phone. This is the
- 15:46Speaker 1: most important phone call of your life. And I'm like, hey, Rick,
- 15:51Speaker 1: how are you doing? And he's like he's like, well,
- 15:54Speaker 1: I had some good news, but you know, you decided
- 15:57Speaker 1: to put it off and you're going to the show,
- 16:00Speaker 1: so pack your bags.
- 16:01Speaker 2: Really? Oh wow? Okay?
- 16:02Speaker 1: So it was sick.
- 16:03Speaker 2: Yeah, So and then you came up whatever in your
- 16:07Speaker 2: first start, you had five innings of no hit ball.
- 16:14Speaker 3: Exit early because you had a cramp.
- 16:16Speaker 2: What was cramping?
- 16:17Speaker 1: So my calf started cramping up and then I ended
- 16:19Speaker 1: up rolling my ankle coming up the mount. So I
- 16:22Speaker 1: hit the spot where the other picture like plants and
- 16:26Speaker 1: so there's like a divot, okay, And I was trying
- 16:28Speaker 1: to work out the cramp of my calf and try
- 16:30Speaker 1: to push it down and get it out, and then
- 16:31Speaker 1: all of a sudden, just rolling over.
- 16:34Speaker 2: So were you were you? I mean, I obviously you
- 16:36Speaker 2: were pissed about it, right, yeah? Yeah, I mean so,
- 16:38Speaker 2: I mean, how if you didn't cramp like how long
- 16:42Speaker 2: you think you could have.
- 16:43Speaker 1: Went inning or two? I was. I was already at
- 16:46Speaker 1: like eighty ninety pitches, so I was at the end.
- 16:50Speaker 2: And then your second start you went six innings and
- 16:53Speaker 2: it was perfect. And uh so tell me about that, like.
- 16:57Speaker 1: How did you fill the terrible Honestly, again, just stressed
- 17:01Speaker 1: out of my mind, just like worried about everything. But no, honestly,
- 17:06Speaker 1: those two were a blur and kind of didn't feel
- 17:10Speaker 1: like anything, like you kind of just were floating at
- 17:12Speaker 1: that point. Yeah, so but no, Yeah, then give up
- 17:16Speaker 1: the home run to give my first hit.
- 17:19Speaker 2: Yeah, that's all right. So you know you own the
- 17:22Speaker 2: longest no hit streak between your first two starts of
- 17:26Speaker 2: five innings and then the six innings and having so
- 17:29Speaker 2: much success as char Million, Right you were Charmandermander. Then
- 17:36Speaker 2: you go five innings, no hits, six innings.
- 17:39Speaker 3: Perfect. You got to Charmander yeah pretty quick. Right.
- 17:44Speaker 2: Are there any lessons that you've learned or anything so far?
- 17:47Speaker 2: I mean, because it's been pretty much nothing.
- 17:50Speaker 3: But success for you.
- 17:51Speaker 1: I think the biggest thing is like staying humble. Having
- 17:55Speaker 1: Freddie Peralta on our team was a huge help. Like
- 17:59Speaker 1: him and Big would pull me aside. And you know
- 18:01Speaker 1: big Brandon woodruf okay, Sorr, yeah, yeah big.
- 18:06Speaker 3: I know he was a big woo Okay, got it.
- 18:08Speaker 2: I see him calling him better.
- 18:10Speaker 1: Yeah. But now having those two pulled me aside and
- 18:16Speaker 1: just you know, just talk with me and just have
- 18:18Speaker 1: me understand, like, you know, the success isn't going to
- 18:21Speaker 1: last forever. Like when something does hit the fan, you
- 18:24Speaker 1: got to be able to adapt and recover from it.
- 18:27Speaker 1: And so I think that helped a lot.
- 18:29Speaker 2: Now as Freddy's gone, what do you feel like you've
- 18:31Speaker 2: lost as a as a mentor? Do you feel like
- 18:35Speaker 2: you've lost anything as a mentor? Would you lose obviously
- 18:38Speaker 2: in the rotation, he's a you know, a front line
- 18:39Speaker 2: starter of course. You know, how did that really kind
- 18:42Speaker 2: of affect you guys?
- 18:43Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean we're a really young staff, and so
- 18:46Speaker 1: I think I think that was the biggest loss was
- 18:48Speaker 1: just that mentor in the clubhouse, just being like kind
- 18:52Speaker 1: of the chill guy that like you went over and
- 18:56Speaker 1: asked the most random questions too, and Freddie would be
- 19:01Speaker 1: polite and just answer in a calm fashion and just
- 19:04Speaker 1: like give you a straight answer, and it's like question, Yeah,
- 19:07Speaker 1: it could be anything. It could be you know how
- 19:09Speaker 1: many outs are in any and Freddie would be like, hey,
- 19:11Speaker 1: miss there's three, but no, it's that's what we're missing.
- 19:16Speaker 1: And like it sucks that it's gone, but like happy
- 19:18Speaker 1: for Freddy to have the success that he's happened. But no,
- 19:22Speaker 1: it's it's good, all right, all right.
- 19:24Speaker 2: So, and then I want to go a little bit
- 19:26Speaker 2: into obviously you did what you did, and then you
- 19:29Speaker 2: became an All Star, and there was a little criticism
- 19:34Speaker 2: about you being an All Star. How did you handle that?
- 19:38Speaker 1: I mean, I think as good as I can. I mean, obviously,
- 19:41Speaker 1: like I think there's guys in the league that deserved
- 19:44Speaker 1: it a little bit more than I did in my
- 19:45Speaker 1: five games. But you know, at the same time, if
- 19:48Speaker 1: when they called, I'm not gonna say no, Like you
- 19:51Speaker 1: can't say no to it, and you know, you never
- 19:54Speaker 1: know if you can get another one. So it's kind
- 19:56Speaker 1: of one of those situations that I was like, I
- 19:59Speaker 1: gotta take it. And so obviously, yeah, there was BackFlash
- 20:02Speaker 1: with it, like, but I think I handled the best
- 20:06Speaker 1: I could.
- 20:07Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean, and you you're showing why it wasn't
- 20:10Speaker 2: luck that exactly? Yes, yes, So and then you took
- 20:13Speaker 2: your fame, which you how was the experience?
- 20:14Speaker 1: It was? It was so cool, it was it was insane.
- 20:18Speaker 1: We walked, you know, the red carpet, did all that,
- 20:21Speaker 1: she got all dressed up my fiance. So, no, it
- 20:26Speaker 1: was it was really cool to you know, have the
- 20:27Speaker 1: family there and have all the support through it all.
- 20:31Speaker 2: Nice and uh and you did an in game interview
- 20:33Speaker 2: with Ken right. Do you think you could do an
- 20:37Speaker 2: in game interview pitching?
- 20:39Speaker 1: No? Are you saying like with a mic during an inning?
- 20:42Speaker 2: During the inning? Because I think Liam Hendricks did it. Yeah,
- 20:46Speaker 2: do you think you could do that?
- 20:47Speaker 1: Dank Kersha'll do it too.
- 20:49Speaker 3: I don't know.
- 20:49Speaker 1: I think Kirshall did did do it? Uh, No, there's
- 20:53Speaker 1: not a chance. Is your brain going to My brain
- 20:56Speaker 1: is off and I am just focused on who's up
- 20:59Speaker 1: at the plate and all that. So are you cussing
- 21:01Speaker 1: yourself out all the time? All the time? Yeah, do
- 21:04Speaker 1: not pay the camera over to me. You're gonna see
- 21:06Speaker 1: enough forort coming out of my mouth.
- 21:07Speaker 2: So, and I want to talk a little bit about
- 21:10Speaker 2: you and Willie William Contraras.
- 21:13Speaker 3: I know that's your guy.
- 21:14Speaker 2: Obviously one of the best catchers in the league, one
- 21:16Speaker 2: of the smartest catchers in the league, just.
- 21:19Speaker 3: All in all through great player.
- 21:22Speaker 2: I know, I think you've said before that you guys
- 21:24Speaker 2: have like a little unspoken communication situation. How did that develop,
- 21:30Speaker 2: especially with you being so young and him being you know,
- 21:32Speaker 2: somewhat of a veteran.
- 21:33Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean I think it was just one of
- 21:35Speaker 1: those things that you kind of just listen to him,
- 21:37Speaker 1: you know, he you kind of look at what he's
- 21:41Speaker 1: doing and go out and play off of that. Like
- 21:43Speaker 1: there's countless times where we'll sit in that box. He'll
- 21:47Speaker 1: sit there and just watch the hitter and just like
- 21:49Speaker 1: look up at you guys, and just it'll be six
- 21:52Speaker 1: seconds and I'm like, dude, I need the pitch, Like
- 21:55Speaker 1: what are we doing? Like, and he's like, he's like, chill, chill,
- 22:00Speaker 1: And then all of a sudden, it'll be two seconds
- 22:01Speaker 1: and he'll go fastball and it's.
- 22:02Speaker 2: Like, oh, there you go.
- 22:05Speaker 1: You gotta be ready. So it's but no, I mean,
- 22:07Speaker 1: he kind of trusted me to be able to do it,
- 22:11Speaker 1: and so it was kind of one of those things
- 22:12Speaker 1: that we kind of just rolled with and it you know,
- 22:14Speaker 1: it worked.
- 22:14Speaker 2: So so when I've seen it, most of the time
- 22:17Speaker 2: you throw a pitch. You know, it has a little
- 22:19Speaker 2: lob coming back boom, and sometimes he throws that thing
- 22:23Speaker 2: ninety eight back at you. What does that mean that?
- 22:26Speaker 2: I mean, I'm obviously I don't want to, you know, anything,
- 22:29Speaker 2: but I didn't know if that meant like, hey, come on,
- 22:31Speaker 2: let's go.
- 22:32Speaker 1: Yeah, that's pretty much. It's pretty much you know, figure
- 22:34Speaker 1: out okay, you know, and.
- 22:37Speaker 2: When did you learn that that's what that meant?
- 22:39Speaker 1: Pretty much the first game, because uh so the first
- 22:42Speaker 1: time I got it was against his brother at my
- 22:46Speaker 1: debut and I missed a spot by like a couple
- 22:50Speaker 1: of balls and his brother took a hard swing and
- 22:52Speaker 1: hit a hard foul ball down the line and William
- 22:55Speaker 1: gets a ball from the parent just rifles it at me,
- 22:58Speaker 1: and I'm like, I'm like, dude, what the hell? And
- 23:00Speaker 1: you would go back in the dug and it's like
- 23:01Speaker 1: hit your spot next time and I won't fire at you,
- 23:04Speaker 1: and it's like it's like, okay.
- 23:06Speaker 2: So that's I mean, And that's I feel like that's
- 23:08Speaker 2: really really important because like if a catcher doesn't do
- 23:12Speaker 2: that and he doesn't pay attention to those little details,
- 23:15Speaker 2: then he's I ain't gonna say he's not doing his job,
- 23:18Speaker 2: but he's not controlling the game right exactly, and he's
- 23:21Speaker 2: he definitely controls against back there, So I do want
- 23:25Speaker 2: to keep going a little bit. And here in Milwaukee
- 23:27Speaker 2: you got Bryce and Yelly. Are there any names nicknames
- 23:32Speaker 2: for those guys?
- 23:33Speaker 3: Just Y Bryce?
- 23:35Speaker 1: Bryce?
- 23:36Speaker 3: Bryce is like it's one syllable, so.
- 23:37Speaker 2: You can you know, yeah, okay, So having those guys,
- 23:43Speaker 2: you guys won ninety seven games, so you're almost having
- 23:46Speaker 2: those guys. How do they kind of lead you guys?
- 23:50Speaker 1: I think it's again just the like no dumb questions.
- 23:53Speaker 1: I think it's just uh, you know, Yelly's been around
- 23:56Speaker 1: forever and you know, won an MVP and all that,
- 23:59Speaker 1: so you kind of just follow his role. It's like,
- 24:02Speaker 1: that's that's the leader. He kind of do what he
- 24:05Speaker 1: says the main guy. Yeah, ok yeah, you know Bryce
- 24:09Speaker 1: is right there with him too, of course, but but no,
- 24:12Speaker 1: it's it's just one of those things that you kind
- 24:14Speaker 1: of just like monkey see monkey do kind of thing
- 24:18Speaker 1: and just roll with it. And you're like, you're like, okay,
- 24:20Speaker 1: that's how we play this game.
- 24:22Speaker 2: So you see the culture.
- 24:23Speaker 3: Of course, what about and then you brought in Kyle Harrison.
- 24:27Speaker 1: Who has been disgusting.
- 24:29Speaker 3: Yeah, he's been following.
- 24:30Speaker 2: I mean even when he was with the San Francisco
- 24:33Speaker 2: you guys got to face all yeah, we got to
- 24:35Speaker 2: face him. And then now he's coming over here. What
- 24:38Speaker 2: has he brought to you guys?
- 24:40Speaker 1: Honestly, really calm and just a guy that's going to
- 24:44Speaker 1: go out and just shove every five days. So it's
- 24:47Speaker 1: been it's been an awesome you know, one two with
- 24:50Speaker 1: me and so it's you know, it's like it's honestly
- 24:53Speaker 1: like if you see like me and himm are gonna
- 24:55Speaker 1: line up, it's like, oh, we got two wins in
- 24:57Speaker 1: the series. So it's it's it's really cool.
- 25:00Speaker 2: Nice and I want to uh, yeah, here's he's five
- 25:02Speaker 2: and one. He's got a one seven, he's.
- 25:05Speaker 1: Down to one.
- 25:09Speaker 2: I do want to talk a little bit about Pat Murphy.
- 25:11Speaker 2: He's awesome, Yes, all right, he's a great human being
- 25:15Speaker 2: as your manager.
- 25:16Speaker 3: How is it?
- 25:16Speaker 1: He's electric, He's uh, there's a lot of of random
- 25:20Speaker 1: jokes that he throws out there, and you know, they'll
- 25:24Speaker 1: they'll just be sitting in a clubhouse and he'll walk
- 25:26Speaker 1: in and just yell from across the room like something random.
- 25:29Speaker 1: It's just given everyone so it's a it's funny, it's good.
- 25:34Speaker 2: Uh. And then do you know that he he cares,
- 25:37Speaker 2: he cares pancakes in his pockets? What is what is that?
- 25:42Speaker 1: He just needs a middenning snack?
- 25:44Speaker 2: I guess what do you mean?
- 25:45Speaker 1: Pancakes though, literally like you'll have your hoodie pocket. He'll
- 25:49Speaker 1: just slide pancakes like little pancakes, little mini pancakes, actual pancake,
- 25:56Speaker 1: actual pancakes. Now you don't take them from pat. You
- 25:58Speaker 1: don't know where they've been.
- 26:00Speaker 2: You won't take a piece.
- 26:01Speaker 1: Oh no, no, no, I'm good. He's had random stuff.
- 26:04Speaker 1: He had to have pancakes. Actually in k C to
- 26:07Speaker 1: start the year. He had a turtle.
- 26:09Speaker 3: He put a turtle in it.
- 26:10Speaker 1: Put a turtle in his pocket. There's a live like
- 26:13Speaker 1: a live living turtle like tortle.
- 26:15Speaker 2: What was he doing around?
- 26:18Speaker 1: Yeah, that's what that's He.
- 26:19Speaker 3: Had a turtle in his pocket.
- 26:20Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 26:21Speaker 3: And then he eats pancakes in his pocket.
- 26:23Speaker 1: Pancakes.
- 26:24Speaker 3: I think he had bacon, bacon.
- 26:26Speaker 1: There's bacon at one point, I don't know, there was
- 26:28Speaker 1: random snacks. What it's weird, it's weird, but he's he's
- 26:32Speaker 1: the man.
- 26:32Speaker 2: I mean, I know he's the man great ship.
- 26:36Speaker 1: You need your mid game snacks dehydrated, fueled.
- 26:39Speaker 2: So if you had if you have a snack you
- 26:42Speaker 2: know in your pocket, that's not sugar freedom, what would
- 26:46Speaker 2: it be?
- 26:46Speaker 1: I think I go with those uh those like power
- 26:49Speaker 1: waffles in the dug out. Do you guys have those
- 26:52Speaker 1: the little honey one?
- 26:53Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 26:53Speaker 1: Those are delicious?
- 26:54Speaker 3: Okay?
- 26:54Speaker 2: So do you eat during like when you.
- 26:56Speaker 1: Put that's been a new thing with the cramps is
- 26:59Speaker 1: I've tried to get Yeah, keep going with it.
- 27:02Speaker 3: On your start day? Do you eat it? Are you
- 27:06Speaker 3: like kind of.
- 27:07Speaker 1: I can't I eat a breakfast? And then that's about it.
- 27:11Speaker 1: I get you know, you get anxious, youet nervous going
- 27:14Speaker 1: into it, and it's like, oh I can't eat and
- 27:15Speaker 1: then all of a sudden you go in the clean
- 27:17Speaker 1: the lunch room and you're like none of this looks
- 27:20Speaker 1: good and then like you grab a PPMJ or something little.
- 27:23Speaker 3: And so or do you talk or now you're not talking?
- 27:26Speaker 2: I love to talk talk.
- 27:27Speaker 1: If I sit there by myself, I will stress myself
- 27:31Speaker 1: out and I won't be able to pitch. Like, so
- 27:33Speaker 1: I have to like sit around and chat and like, yeah,
- 27:37Speaker 1: so you sit.
- 27:37Speaker 2: Around, talk and then at what point does your because
- 27:42Speaker 2: you're I'm not saying you're not focused, but at what
- 27:44Speaker 2: point do you like?
- 27:45Speaker 3: Okay, that's enough talking.
- 27:47Speaker 1: I got to focus right about when I start getting
- 27:50Speaker 1: like loose and warming up to about an hour before
- 27:52Speaker 1: the game.
- 27:52Speaker 3: Like six o'clock, yeah, or whatever time it is.
- 27:54Speaker 1: Yeah, we have a six forty so five. When you
- 27:58Speaker 1: start your stuff, yeah, then I kind of to like
- 28:00Speaker 1: put headphones in lock in and don't really do anything.
- 28:03Speaker 3: What do you listen to in your headphones?
- 28:05Speaker 1: I'm big into like the like alt rock and heavy rock.
- 28:09Speaker 1: So like I'm listening to like Pantera.
- 28:11Speaker 2: I don't know any of those people.
- 28:12Speaker 1: No, no idea.
- 28:14Speaker 3: Do you play any instruments or anything?
- 28:16Speaker 2: I don't know. So, so is it is rock? It's
- 28:20Speaker 2: not the screaming and stuff.
- 28:21Speaker 1: Right, I'm into the screaming stuff. I like the scream, like, yeah,
- 28:26Speaker 1: Pantera's big scream heavy metal man, and so like, I
- 28:31Speaker 1: don't know.
- 28:32Speaker 2: So you have that plant. Oh it's in your headphones.
- 28:34Speaker 2: It's not in the in the weight room.
- 28:36Speaker 1: No, no, no headphones. I don't put everyone else to that.
- 28:39Speaker 1: I know that's not like.
- 28:40Speaker 2: Nah, man, We've I've experienced that that the screaming and.
- 28:46Speaker 3: Everybody left the weight room.
- 28:47Speaker 2: You know when that when that's kind of going on,
- 28:49Speaker 2: it kind of scares some people.
- 28:50Speaker 3: Yeah, you know it is so but you love it.
- 28:53Speaker 2: I love it? Yeah, all right, what are they saying? Words?
- 28:56Speaker 1: Yeah, there's yeah, yeah, there's words to it, and like
- 28:59Speaker 1: you know, when they're screaming, there's just screaming a word
- 29:02Speaker 1: or something. Yeah. Yeah. So it's like there's actually lyrics
- 29:06Speaker 1: to the to the song.
- 29:07Speaker 3: And you know all the lyrics.
- 29:08Speaker 1: I mean you understand them. I mean I might find
- 29:11Speaker 1: a new song and not really know them, and then
- 29:13Speaker 1: you have to go and read what the lyrics are
- 29:15Speaker 1: actually actually are I.
- 29:16Speaker 2: Want to talk about, you know, the Charmander Charmilian Charizar situation.
- 29:24Speaker 2: You you love Pokemon? I do, yes, And you always
- 29:29Speaker 2: have loved Pokemon growing up?
- 29:30Speaker 1: Yeah, you know I had a game boy grown up?
- 29:35Speaker 3: Did you have a color?
- 29:36Speaker 1: I was? It was clear? It was like so it
- 29:38Speaker 1: was like a white clear Okay, so I can see
- 29:41Speaker 1: all the internals and stuff. So it's kind of cool.
- 29:43Speaker 2: Okay, Okay, So and then you had Pokemon and I'm
- 29:47Speaker 2: assuming you played that all yeah.
- 29:49Speaker 1: Yeah, started with the silver game, and you know that's
- 29:53Speaker 1: where I fell in love with Pokemon, so it was cool.
- 29:56Speaker 2: And you have your book? How many how many cards
- 29:58Speaker 2: are in your book? Oh uh?
- 30:00Speaker 1: So I have this binder that's like about half the
- 30:06Speaker 1: size of me, and it holds like fifteen hundred.
- 30:08Speaker 3: Cards, and you have a field.
- 30:11Speaker 1: It's not filled.
- 30:12Speaker 2: No, no, no, no, okay, but I have.
- 30:14Speaker 1: I have that binder and I have like two other ones,
- 30:16Speaker 1: so I probably have around thousand, two thousand. Yeah, there
- 30:22Speaker 1: you go.
- 30:22Speaker 3: That's it right there.
- 30:23Speaker 2: Yeah, and you you just got all your cards in it,
- 30:26Speaker 2: so you just rip packs all the time.
- 30:27Speaker 1: Yeah, we yeah, I love it.
- 30:29Speaker 3: And that's where you spend spend your money is ripping packs.
- 30:31Speaker 1: Yeah, that and doing that other stuff.
- 30:33Speaker 2: Yeah. Okay, So where and I got the you know,
- 30:39Speaker 2: where would you go with that book to where like
- 30:43Speaker 2: everybody's going crazy like, oh my gosh, miss looking at
- 30:46Speaker 2: his collection? You know, where would you go with that?
- 30:49Speaker 3: Or do you just keep it at home?
- 30:51Speaker 1: It mostly just stays at home. I mean that binder
- 30:53Speaker 1: is way too big to actually bring to a card
- 30:55Speaker 1: shop or a card show.
- 30:57Speaker 2: So you don't fight then, cause you so back in
- 31:00Speaker 2: the day, you could drop this car and they would
- 31:02Speaker 2: drop that car.
- 31:03Speaker 1: No, there's a whole game to all those cards go
- 31:05Speaker 1: to a game.
- 31:06Speaker 2: Do you play the game?
- 31:07Speaker 1: I don't play the actual card game. I play like
- 31:11Speaker 1: there's a there's one on like the phone. So there's
- 31:13Speaker 1: like a TCG pocket which is like Pokemon's like quick
- 31:17Speaker 1: quicker game of the sort. So then there's Pokemon Go
- 31:21Speaker 1: and stuff like that.
- 31:22Speaker 2: So you play games now or no, not a ton, but.
- 31:25Speaker 1: Like that quick Yeah, like the quicker kind of like
- 31:29Speaker 1: takes like ten minutes for around.
- 31:31Speaker 3: Would you play that on your start day?
- 31:33Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 31:33Speaker 3: Oh okay, so that keeps your mind not going great?
- 31:37Speaker 1: Yeah? Yeah, okay, so something's keeping me busy. Like I
- 31:41Speaker 1: can't just sit there with my thoughts.
- 31:44Speaker 2: All right, so I do want to make a give
- 31:47Speaker 2: me some comps. Right, we have Charizard? Who would be
- 31:51Speaker 2: Charizard in the MLB. I mean.
- 31:57Speaker 1: You kind of gotta go with like one of the
- 32:00Speaker 1: big aces. So I mean that you could go Schemes
- 32:03Speaker 1: or Garrett Coole. No, but like I feel like I
- 32:06Speaker 1: feel like to be a big flamethrower. You gotta be
- 32:09Speaker 1: like that's charge.
- 32:10Speaker 2: Aard Okay, charge are is Schemes? Yeah?
- 32:14Speaker 1: Or Garrett Cole or something like that.
- 32:16Speaker 2: Yeah, Okay, what about Pikachu.
- 32:18Speaker 1: I think you gotta go show hey, Like that's the.
- 32:20Speaker 2: Face Pikachu, like the face.
- 32:22Speaker 1: You're saying, like if someone comes up to you and
- 32:24Speaker 1: it's like what Pokemon, do you know you're like Pikachu.
- 32:27Speaker 2: Yeah, so that's show that show hey.
- 32:29Speaker 3: That's fair, that's fair. What about Snorlax.
- 32:33Speaker 1: Oh, I don't know, there's not.
- 32:36Speaker 2: What what what powers does snore Snolax have?
- 32:39Speaker 1: Snorelax is like a really strong and like slow Pokemon.
- 32:45Speaker 1: So it's like it's hard to camp an MLB player
- 32:48Speaker 1: because there's no one that's like strong and lazy slow.
- 32:53Speaker 2: I wouldn't call it lazy, but slow. Definitely, there's some
- 32:56Speaker 2: there's gotta be some big.
- 32:58Speaker 1: There has to be some big bats.
- 32:59Speaker 2: Yeah, us I'm thinking like.
- 33:03Speaker 3: Solaire, that's a good one. Big big.
- 33:06Speaker 1: You can also go with like cal Rawley, Calra, big backstop,
- 33:10Speaker 1: big strong backstop.
- 33:11Speaker 2: Yeah, thank you cal Okay so h yeah, Alonzo you
- 33:17Speaker 2: know yeah, but you know what I'm saying. But I
- 33:21Speaker 2: think I think cal makes you know, he's like.
- 33:24Speaker 1: The big backstop and like he's stopping it just exactly.
- 33:29Speaker 2: I don't know this Pokemon ninja Ninja Ninja, what.
- 33:34Speaker 1: Is like is like a like a frog ninja combo
- 33:38Speaker 1: frog ninja. Yeah, like it's really quick like speedy guys.
- 33:42Speaker 1: So like you could go like an outfielder or like
- 33:45Speaker 1: a fast guy on the bases, Like you could be
- 33:48Speaker 1: in the category of like you're faster than me, you
- 33:54Speaker 1: don't have to run.
- 33:55Speaker 2: Oh what about like Chandler Simpson.
- 33:57Speaker 3: There you go, that'd be so Chandler Simpson is grid Ninja.
- 34:01Speaker 3: Somebody's really fast.
- 34:02Speaker 2: Boom okay, uh Gingar gang Guar, Gang Guar, Gang.
- 34:08Speaker 1: Guar, gang Guards. So gang Guard is like, uh another
- 34:12Speaker 1: really big powerful like ghosts Pokemon. So like who that
- 34:18Speaker 1: could be in the category again with Snorela likes and
- 34:20Speaker 1: be like that could be Pete.
- 34:21Speaker 2: He's big. Yeah, it's bigger you know who I was thinking.
- 34:25Speaker 2: I don't I have no idea who Gangar is, but
- 34:27Speaker 2: somebody who's big and sneaky, like I say, Wan Soto.
- 34:33Speaker 2: The reason why I say Wan is because he's still
- 34:35Speaker 2: forty least you did okay that you know, like that's
- 34:39Speaker 2: that's a sneak attack. I don't think he's over there.
- 34:43Speaker 2: Yeah you know, but he's this big strong homers. I
- 34:47Speaker 2: don't know, but it's you that's a good com Okay, okay,
- 34:51Speaker 2: so we're going. Uh so charge are Skins or Garritt Cole?
- 34:55Speaker 3: I hope they hear this.
- 34:58Speaker 2: Pikachu show, Hey Snorlax, Cole, Kyle Raley, Grid Ninja right, Chandler,
- 35:06Speaker 2: and then gang Gar gang Gar is is one. So okay,
- 35:11Speaker 2: So for good close, I got a couple more things.
- 35:14Speaker 2: Uh uh. We have whiteboards under your under your side
- 35:19Speaker 2: over there. We face each other five times, not a
- 35:23Speaker 2: big sample size, but there's one at bat in game
- 35:26Speaker 2: three of the of the NLCS. We got to go through.
- 35:30Speaker 2: I want to go through and see if you remember.
- 35:32Speaker 1: Uh. Okay, to be honest, I am so bad at this.
- 35:36Speaker 1: I don't watch a game. I don't watch nothing.
- 35:40Speaker 2: It's a game. So I don't remember this either. I
- 35:44Speaker 2: mean I remember, but I don't remember. You know what
- 35:46Speaker 2: I'm saying, all right? So first pitch I'm going.
- 35:55Speaker 1: I mean simple, gotta be right.
- 35:57Speaker 2: Heater, Yeah, gotta be a heater. Heater somewhere down the middle.
- 36:02Speaker 3: Let's see it.
- 36:04Speaker 1: Oh, slider both wrong?
- 36:06Speaker 3: Wow, home, show some respect to the kid.
- 36:09Speaker 1: Okay. Yeah, William had a plan.
- 36:11Speaker 2: We were on it. Okay, so we go slider.
- 36:17Speaker 1: Uh.
- 36:17Speaker 2: First pitch. Oh you came out of you came out
- 36:19Speaker 2: of the bullpen.
- 36:20Speaker 1: Here you did.
- 36:20Speaker 2: I want to ask about that. How was that coming
- 36:23Speaker 2: out of the bullpen? It was a different for you?
- 36:25Speaker 1: It was different. It was different. But you know, like
- 36:30Speaker 1: that was probably appearance number four at that point because
- 36:35Speaker 1: I made two against the Cubs the series before.
- 36:39Speaker 2: But just in general, like you like it or don't
- 36:41Speaker 2: like it.
- 36:41Speaker 1: I don't mind it.
- 36:42Speaker 3: It's not a different your throws, your routine off.
- 36:44Speaker 1: Yeah, But I mean at the same time, I kind
- 36:46Speaker 1: of like it, kind of like the sped up Like
- 36:49Speaker 1: you know, with starting you kind of sit there and
- 36:51Speaker 1: you just think about everything. You're looking at the whole
- 36:54Speaker 1: light up to where coming out of the bullpen, it's like, oh,
- 36:57Speaker 1: here's your three guys, this inning, go get home. So
- 37:00Speaker 1: it's like there's there's a difference with it and like
- 37:02Speaker 1: you kind of get sped up and in a good way.
- 37:06Speaker 2: Yeah, you appreciate both, Yeah, exactly. Okay, So that was
- 37:09Speaker 2: first pitch, slider. We're over one. Let's go next pitch.
- 37:13Speaker 2: I'm gonna go.
- 37:14Speaker 1: With it has to be fastball, I think so too. No,
- 37:28Speaker 1: back to the slider. We must have something on your movie.
- 37:31Speaker 2: Yeah, I don't know what it is, but it works.
- 37:35Speaker 2: It works. So you go slider slider. Now it is
- 37:40Speaker 2: O two.
- 37:41Speaker 3: I mean, dude, at some point you got to do it.
- 37:45Speaker 2: I think I go curveball, curveball. All right, let's see it.
- 37:50Speaker 1: I think we drop it in. I think I missed ball.
- 37:54Speaker 1: Slider again, one two count to one two count. You've
- 37:57Speaker 1: thrown three sliders. I mean, don't break what's what's.
- 38:04Speaker 2: You got to do it again?
- 38:05Speaker 1: Well, I think it's gonna be a fastball.
- 38:07Speaker 3: Okay, all right, let's see it. Let's see it.
- 38:13Speaker 1: Well, yank slider again? Right right, you're.
- 38:15Speaker 2: Right, yes, okay, So it is a to to count.
- 38:22Speaker 2: That is for sliders in a row. I mean, at
- 38:26Speaker 2: some point you gotta do it. You gotta you gotta
- 38:30Speaker 2: throw it at some point.
- 38:32Speaker 1: Here we go hereter, come on, show us the hitter.
- 38:37Speaker 2: There it is, oh ball to abs Okay, so you
- 38:44Speaker 2: knew it to look at that hop. I know the
- 38:46Speaker 2: hop That means go sit down, buddy, go sit down.
- 38:52Speaker 3: Okay.
- 38:52Speaker 2: So hey, you're only throwing ninety nine. That means you
- 38:55Speaker 2: felt good.
- 38:56Speaker 3: That means you feel good that day. Good for you.
- 38:59Speaker 2: Okay, So before we before we close this year.
- 39:04Speaker 3: It's new.
- 39:06Speaker 2: I'm trying stadium food. Oh gosh. And we did the
- 39:10Speaker 2: Korean Korean style corn dog in h in Anaheim.
- 39:18Speaker 1: That sounds good.
- 39:18Speaker 2: Actually, I gave it a seven. It wasn't it was decent.
- 39:24Speaker 2: We're going, uh, cheese curds here, Yes, you have to
- 39:28Speaker 2: in Wisconsin, Wisconsin.
- 39:31Speaker 3: I used to call it Wisconsin.
- 39:33Speaker 2: You know, being from the South, you don't. We don't.
- 39:36Speaker 2: We don't pronounce our words correct. So now we got
- 39:40Speaker 2: some brut crew cheese curds.
- 39:44Speaker 1: A little pepper in there. What we got?
- 39:47Speaker 2: They look good though, they're nice and brown?
- 39:49Speaker 1: Oh yeah, nice gold?
- 39:50Speaker 3: Yeah, So all right you want to here, we're going.
- 39:54Speaker 2: Let's yeah, this is my first time ever having a
- 39:57Speaker 2: cheese curd. So what they say the sauce was sour
- 40:00Speaker 2: cream aoli? I guess winning room right or win in
- 40:04Speaker 2: the fister.
- 40:14Speaker 1: A little squeak to it. No, that means you've got
- 40:16Speaker 1: good cheese. M it's not bad.
- 40:22Speaker 2: No, it ain't bad. If you're in this kind of thing.
- 40:27Speaker 2: If I like cheese curds, I would probably like this. Yeah,
- 40:32Speaker 2: I don't know that I like cheese curds.
- 40:35Speaker 1: So you gotta try the cheese curd without the fried
- 40:39Speaker 1: they're different. It's different again, just a block. It's literally
- 40:43Speaker 1: just a block of cheese, and they're like squeaky and it's.
- 40:45Speaker 3: I don't think I've ever in my life had just
- 40:47Speaker 3: a block of cheese.
- 40:47Speaker 1: Have you ever had squeaky cheese before?
- 40:50Speaker 3: No, I've had string cheese.
- 40:52Speaker 1: That's only the cheese in your mouth. It like squeaks. No, dude,
- 40:58Speaker 1: that means it's good. That means it's fresh.
- 41:01Speaker 2: I'm gonna keep holding it because I don't have anywhere
- 41:04Speaker 2: else to put it down. But where you gonna write up?
- 41:09Speaker 1: I give it a solid it's probably six or seven.
- 41:13Speaker 2: I think I'm gonna go. If I like cheese, I
- 41:20Speaker 2: will probably give it something a little bit higher.
- 41:23Speaker 3: But I think it's a I'm gonna go with the six.
- 41:29Speaker 2: But it is good for what it is. That makes sense.
- 41:32Speaker 1: You know what you're expecting, and I think it delivered. Yeah.
- 41:35Speaker 2: I think. I think if you're in the cheese curds,
- 41:40Speaker 2: they would be good. But I'm not so you know,
- 41:42Speaker 2: like you said, yes, Winning Room or Milwaukee or wherever
- 41:48Speaker 2: you else, You're I'm gonna get through this, m hm.
- 41:54Speaker 1: I don't think. I don't think it's a sex for him.
- 41:57Speaker 2: I ain't gonna know where to put it down, man,
- 41:59Speaker 2: can't even Okay, So before I let you go, man,

- 42:38Speaker 3: been together for a while and same time.
