- 0:20Speaker 1: Mayby.
- 0:21Speaker 2: We welcome bless a semester the True Grum Podcast. I
- 0:22Speaker 2: don't care, here's to say hasty. All right, we're back,
- 0:26Speaker 2: and this week we are going to Arkansas because we
- 0:28Speaker 2: did determine at some point Arkansas was southern enough.
- 0:34Speaker 3: Arkansas has always been southern, is it? Yeah? Are you
- 0:37Speaker 3: sure it's just right above Louisiana? Of course it is.
- 0:39Speaker 2: I know that. But it is next to Oklahoma, too,
- 0:41Speaker 2: which is southern. We think, yeah, it's Oklahoma's southern. Oh no,
- 0:45Speaker 2: it gets real marky up there.
- 0:47Speaker 3: I don't think Arkansas's southern.
- 0:49Speaker 2: I feel like Oklahoma could almost.
- 0:51Speaker 3: Be like I mean, Arkansas's hillbilly or whatever.
- 0:54Speaker 2: I think southern Arkansas is hill billy.
- 0:57Speaker 3: What do you think? You don't think Bentonville and all
- 0:59Speaker 3: that up there?
- 1:00Speaker 2: No, this uppity Walmart people absolutely, Oh, come on, the
- 1:06Speaker 2: Bentonville or the uh it has all the uppity Walmart people.
- 1:10Speaker 2: You think that look looked down upon us peasants shopping
- 1:14Speaker 2: there for their rollbacks in there.
- 1:19Speaker 3: And their new inlets.
- 1:21Speaker 2: Yes, yes, we have an a new outlet because attitude
- 1:27Speaker 2: don't work like Amazon, alet funcks you over as well.
- 1:31Speaker 2: So we have two outlets because this will be our
- 1:35Speaker 2: third one. If you don't know, an aulet is like
- 1:37Speaker 2: a little monitor for you put it on the baby's
- 1:39Speaker 2: foot and it monitors their breathing.
- 1:41Speaker 3: And their oxygen and heartbeat.
- 1:44Speaker 2: Oxygen and heart rate. So we had the original one
- 1:47Speaker 2: and then then because you know, we thought it'd be fun,
- 1:50Speaker 2: we had two hundred two, so we had two outlets
- 1:52Speaker 2: going at one time because of you know, the paranoia
- 1:55Speaker 2: being new parents. Now, because of some sort of bullshit
- 2:03Speaker 2: government overreach, I will say, they had to take those
- 2:08Speaker 2: off the market. So now the two old ones we have,
- 2:12Speaker 2: they no longer support because the government.
- 2:14Speaker 3: Made them like revamp everything.
- 2:16Speaker 2: Revamp everything, apply for FDA whatever, bullshit, and get that approved.
- 2:24Speaker 2: So now there's a new one. But I guess they
- 2:25Speaker 2: were they weren't allowed to do anything with the old ones.
- 2:27Speaker 2: Then it was because it didn't follow whatever, So partially
- 2:31Speaker 2: their fault. But they also did that shitty thing with
- 2:33Speaker 2: the camera too. But here I am still giving them money.
- 2:36Speaker 2: So now we've ordered a new outlet, so this would
- 2:38Speaker 2: be our third one.
- 2:40Speaker 3: But sock, we've got three cameras and three socks.
- 2:43Speaker 2: Now, yes, so cameras suck.
- 2:46Speaker 3: And the only thing that's going to work. Is the
- 2:48Speaker 3: new sock.
- 2:48Speaker 2: The sock is. The sock is good. Those socks that
- 2:51Speaker 2: we have are still work.
- 2:52Speaker 3: The cameras good.
- 2:54Speaker 2: Camera sucks when it. I'm not supporting their cameras too.
- 3:00Speaker 2: I'm only doing this because I need because the problem is, huh.
- 3:03Speaker 3: Just like that don't support their original sock.
- 3:05Speaker 2: And you know they don't support the original sock. I
- 3:07Speaker 2: don't support their cameras. The reason being is because the
- 3:10Speaker 2: baby is one month old, we have gone this long
- 3:12Speaker 2: without the sock. However, he has developed kind of some
- 3:17Speaker 2: reflux I would say is the spitting up. It's a
- 3:22Speaker 2: new situation for him. So we are going to see
- 3:26Speaker 2: a chiropractor. Now, don't you worry, guys. Okay, they're not
- 3:30Speaker 2: going to be like popping the baby. They're not going
- 3:33Speaker 2: to be like cracking him and stuff that. They just
- 3:36Speaker 2: kind of move them and stretch them and whatever I've
- 3:41Speaker 2: seen it done on it's all the rage. And then
- 3:44Speaker 2: we got our good old Louisiana backwoods coon as miracle
- 3:50Speaker 2: medicine coming in the Yes, so that has worked on
- 3:56Speaker 2: all the children. If they've ever had any type of
- 3:58Speaker 2: gas or it's something forty fifty years, they've been putting
- 4:02Speaker 2: this whole tincture together and it works really well. So
- 4:05Speaker 2: our pediatrician with our first one recommended it and it's
- 4:10Speaker 2: been or with the second one because he was kind
- 4:12Speaker 2: of callicky. It was it's a colic medicine, so you know,
- 4:18Speaker 2: it worked, and the doctor said it was fine. We
- 4:21Speaker 2: don't ask many questions past that, like it's fine, yes.
- 4:25Speaker 3: Us if you want to know, we're not going to
- 4:26Speaker 3: put it out there.
- 4:27Speaker 2: Yes, so anyway, so well, no, it doesn't matter. It's
- 4:30Speaker 2: do du puis dupois or whatever dupe. If you don't
- 4:34Speaker 2: know how to spell that d u p o i
- 4:37Speaker 2: s old fashioned pharmacy. You gotta call it in. Even now,
- 4:40Speaker 2: they don't even have the online ordering.
- 4:42Speaker 3: Now you gotta talk to them here tomorrow.
- 4:44Speaker 2: You gotta talk to them. They'll put it in the
- 4:45Speaker 2: mail that day. Anyways. And then the other person that
- 4:49Speaker 2: has fucked us over is or me personally, is Amazon
- 4:53Speaker 2: with their kindle situation. So the kindles work perfectly fine.
- 4:58Speaker 2: I have a kind So here's what i I'm upset.
- 5:00Speaker 2: If you're a reader out there, the reason I'm upset
- 5:03Speaker 2: about the kindle is because this was my mom's kindle.
- 5:06Speaker 3: It's old.
- 5:07Speaker 2: It's like, how many ever years old? Well, Amazon, it
- 5:10Speaker 2: works perfectly fine. Amazon sends on an email last week
- 5:14Speaker 2: They're like, oh, hey, we're glad you've enjoyed this kindle
- 5:18Speaker 2: for the last fourteen to eighteen years. It's like they
- 5:21Speaker 2: wanted to make sure and put that in there, be like,
- 5:23Speaker 2: you're being ridiculous. You should have upgraded by now. Anyways,
- 5:27Speaker 2: it's a sentimental kindle to me, so that's why I
- 5:31Speaker 2: am upset about it. But also it still works. So
- 5:34Speaker 2: they were like, okay, well you've got an upgrade. Your
- 5:36Speaker 2: starting May twenty eight years is no longer going to
- 5:38Speaker 2: be supported. Here's a twenty percent off coupon fuck you,
- 5:43Speaker 2: fuck your dead mom, fuck your couch, buy a new
- 5:48Speaker 2: Kindle and everything. So I did break down and bought
- 5:52Speaker 2: the new one because we are going on a trip
- 5:54Speaker 2: and I don't want I do enjoy.
- 5:55Speaker 3: Your now I want to talk to me on that trip.
- 5:58Speaker 2: Yeah, I do reading. I do enjoy reading. Off the case,
- 6:00Speaker 2: I feel like I do more of it. So that's
- 6:02Speaker 2: our tech drama, not that anybody asked anyways. Speaking of
- 6:09Speaker 2: I was going to do that section on like what
- 6:11Speaker 2: books I'm reading. So currently I'm reading Wild Dark Shore.
- 6:14Speaker 2: Oh god, I dropped my phone. Can you keep talking
- 6:16Speaker 2: while I get down and get it?
- 6:17Speaker 3: Well, would you like me to talk about how you
- 6:19Speaker 3: dropped your phone and you're getting it right now?
- 6:21Speaker 2: Okay, I'm back. So guys, it's like eleven o'clock at night.
- 6:25Speaker 2: We don't have time to edit this.
- 6:26Speaker 3: So this is just it is.
- 6:28Speaker 2: It is what it is. I was trying to find
- 6:30Speaker 2: my good Reads I remember so I could update. No,
- 6:34Speaker 2: I don't want to verify my email right now. Oh.
- 6:36Speaker 2: I read or I listened to That's Not My Name
- 6:39Speaker 2: by Megan Lawley. It is a I enjoyed it had
- 6:43Speaker 2: I did not see the ending coming. That was like
- 6:45Speaker 2: a big, big shock to me. Maybe I'm an idiot,
- 6:48Speaker 2: but I didn't see it coming. But the only problem
- 6:50Speaker 2: is it's got it's like a young adult one, so
- 6:52Speaker 2: it's got teenagers, and I don't like stories with teenagers
- 6:56Speaker 2: because I think they're just I'm like, you're a teenager,
- 6:59Speaker 2: you're annoying anyways. And then I have been working on
- 7:02Speaker 2: reading The Frozen River for it's been since January. So
- 7:08Speaker 2: it's not that it's a bad book. It's just like
- 7:11Speaker 2: it's historical fiction and I'm just I'm just having a
- 7:15Speaker 2: hard time getting into it. But I'm so, I'm just
- 7:17Speaker 2: slowly slugging away at that one. Now I'll eventually finish it.
- 7:20Speaker 2: And then I finished What Happens in Amsterdam. That one
- 7:25Speaker 2: was okay, it was just too much like lovey dovey
- 7:27Speaker 2: romance for me. And then the other one I finished
- 7:30Speaker 2: was as Showgirls Rules for Falling in Love. Now that
- 7:32Speaker 2: one was better. I enjoyed that one. That was a
- 7:34Speaker 2: little bit different. I did like that one. So I
- 7:37Speaker 2: gave that one four stars. I think maybe i'd say
- 7:42Speaker 2: three and a half, but you got to you gotta
- 7:44Speaker 2: pick you the three or four on good Reads. So
- 7:46Speaker 2: that's the reading updates. Do you remember I said I
- 7:48Speaker 2: was going to do that.
- 7:49Speaker 3: I don't know if I'm going to do it at
- 7:50Speaker 3: the beginning though, Yeah, Oh you're going to do it
- 7:53Speaker 3: at the end.
- 7:55Speaker 2: No, I'm doing it at the beginning. It can fast forward. Okay,
- 7:59Speaker 2: We're we're at the point. Now we're about to start
- 8:01Speaker 2: their actual punch.
- 8:02Speaker 3: Well what do I do? I got to sit here and.
- 8:04Speaker 2: Listen to it though, So maybe you should know what
- 8:06Speaker 2: I'm reading?
- 8:07Speaker 3: Why what if it's what if I.
- 8:08Speaker 2: Instead of a Showgirl's Rules for Falling Love. What if
- 8:10Speaker 2: I was reading Ten Ways to Kill Your Spouse, wouldn't
- 8:14Speaker 2: you want to be involved with that? No, wouldn't you
- 8:17Speaker 2: want to be aware?
- 8:18Speaker 3: No? I want it to be a surprise.
- 8:22Speaker 2: Anyways, I'm sure that's a book.
- 8:24Speaker 3: I don't need the anxiety leading up to it. Yeah,
- 8:27Speaker 3: so we have blood pressure issues. Just just surprise me. Yeah.
- 8:31Speaker 2: So anyway, So it is eleven o'clock a night, so
- 8:33Speaker 2: we are, but we are making it through. The problem
- 8:36Speaker 2: is is that these children, I tell you what, guys,
- 8:38Speaker 2: they're just we we get We've took them. So we've
- 8:42Speaker 2: been walking three miles every night, and we took them.
- 8:46Speaker 2: The two bigger ones, they walked probably at least a mile,
- 8:50Speaker 2: I would say of it at there at the end,
- 8:52Speaker 2: the two year old she cannot because she'll just run
- 8:54Speaker 2: into the street and kill herself. So she and then
- 8:57Speaker 2: she threw a tip or tantrum or pick up glass
- 9:01Speaker 2: or whatever. Anyways, so I ran. We got them real
- 9:05Speaker 2: tired and stuff, and so we got home. They did
- 9:07Speaker 2: stroller dinners to remember dinner on the stroll of my
- 9:10Speaker 2: new thing. So the two crashed. But the two year old,
- 9:16Speaker 2: when she gets overtired. She just can't, so then she
- 9:19Speaker 2: she needed extra help going to sleep. And then then
- 9:21Speaker 2: we you know, we have this newborn over here that's
- 9:23Speaker 2: like hit or miss. Yes, he did sleep seven hours
- 9:27Speaker 2: last night, so I can't complain anyways, he sleeps seven hours,
- 9:31Speaker 2: I'll say he sleeps seven hours. I have to wake
- 9:34Speaker 2: up and put the passy back in his mouth to
- 9:36Speaker 2: like getting back to sleep. But I did not actually
- 9:39Speaker 2: have to wake up and like get a bottle and feeding.
- 9:41Speaker 2: So I am having to wake up and put the
- 9:43Speaker 2: passy in a couple times at night. But that's just
- 9:46Speaker 2: part of the system to extend instead just feeding them
- 9:50Speaker 2: right when they wake up, you're supposed to try to
- 9:52Speaker 2: extend them to connect those sleep cycles, and so we
- 9:55Speaker 2: seem to have connected quite a few last nights. That's
- 9:58Speaker 2: good anyways. So, yeah, it's eleven o'clock at night, but
- 10:04Speaker 2: we are on Patris eleven o'clock. I know, I want
- 10:08Speaker 2: all of you to know. It's eleven o'clock at night.
- 10:11Speaker 2: It's eleven twenty four at night. Okay, we have Patreon,
- 10:16Speaker 2: you get the episodes twenty four hours early in ad free,
- 10:19Speaker 2: and then we also do our Shoot the Pooh which
- 10:21Speaker 2: We try to do weekly, which is just us doing whatever.
- 10:24Speaker 2: You just heard more of this, but like for like
- 10:26Speaker 2: forty five minutes so and it could really go off
- 10:29Speaker 2: the rails. We do try to cover some sort of
- 10:31Speaker 2: true crime documentary or something normally and then rate review,
- 10:35Speaker 2: subscribe on wherever you get your podcast, and then we
- 10:39Speaker 2: have Facebook, Instagram and TikTok. I do true crime documentary recommendations.
- 10:46Speaker 2: I do what we're having for dinner every night. That's
- 10:49Speaker 2: just like something that I've started doing. And sometimes I
- 10:54Speaker 2: put books on there. Stu doesn't do anything on there,
- 10:56Speaker 2: is not on the I am not he is not
- 10:59Speaker 2: on the TikTok. So anyways, so that is everything. I guess. Well,
- 11:05Speaker 2: if you have been, if you're annoyed by small talk,
- 11:08Speaker 2: this is where you're gonna want to start listening because
- 11:11Speaker 2: I'm giving you some time. You're pushing the fast forward
- 11:14Speaker 2: fifteen seconds, thirty seconds. Here we go. Let's get into
- 11:17Speaker 2: our case out of Arkansas, Aransas. Yeah, you can't say
- 11:23Speaker 2: I didn't help you out there with that, letting you
- 11:26Speaker 2: know when the.
- 11:26Speaker 3: Case was it.
- 11:29Speaker 2: I'm not gonna do that. I'm Stuart. It's eleven twenty
- 11:33Speaker 2: six at night, Okay, I'm trying to get this out.
- 11:37Speaker 2: I was gonna try to get it out today, but
- 11:39Speaker 2: it's obviously going to be past midnight when this actually
- 11:41Speaker 2: gets fish stebb Well finished recording and posted. So all right,
- 11:47Speaker 2: So Casey Best Best Best. Crowder was born February twenty fourth,
- 11:53Speaker 2: nineteen eighty nine, what Stuart, same year as Taylor Swift
- 11:59Speaker 2: in Pine Blow of Arkansas, to Marty Bluff to Marty
- 12:03Speaker 2: and Melinda. Is pine Bluff down down south? They had
- 12:07Speaker 2: some accents. Is it down south Arkansas?
- 12:12Speaker 3: You're asking me questions? I don't know.
- 12:14Speaker 2: I thought you actually like you knew you're like Pine.
- 12:15Speaker 3: Bluff, like I think my buddy like you're personally I
- 12:19Speaker 3: think my buddy Chris was born.
- 12:20Speaker 2: And raising well all right, Well, they had some pretty
- 12:23Speaker 2: thick accents, so I'm guessing maybe maybe it's down closer
- 12:27Speaker 2: to the Louisiana line. So anyways, so she attended school
- 12:32Speaker 2: in Pine Bluff. For her whole life, she was really
- 12:35Speaker 2: active in her church. She went to first Christian Church,
- 12:39Speaker 2: Disciples of Christ Stuart. She was an active member of
- 12:42Speaker 2: the youth group there.
- 12:43Speaker 3: It sounds like one of them places with them guitars
- 12:45Speaker 3: in it.
- 12:47Speaker 2: Oh, No, a first Christian. No, No, absolutely not no, No,
- 12:52Speaker 2: I'm pretty sure. The sounds like hymnals to me, Like
- 12:57Speaker 2: do you do you got the pews in the back
- 12:59Speaker 2: of the pews is the hymnals? You pull them out,
- 13:03Speaker 2: you sing them, You don't clap things like that. If
- 13:08Speaker 2: you're wondering why Stew's saying this, because I grew up
- 13:11Speaker 2: in a very what are you doing?
- 13:15Speaker 3: What are you doing? My I don't know why my iPad?
- 13:22Speaker 3: My iPad is updating? Oh so all the text messages
- 13:25Speaker 3: from the last week or danging right now.
- 13:27Speaker 2: All of a sudden, he just started he just took
- 13:29Speaker 2: his iPad, just shoved it down to the sun, started
- 13:31Speaker 2: stuffing a blanket on, something like, what the fuck are
- 13:33Speaker 2: you doing? You're a girlfriend callers?
- 13:35Speaker 3: Yeah, she's texting me.
- 13:37Speaker 2: And then he didn't tell me what he acts like
- 13:38Speaker 2: he was trying to hide a secret or something.
- 13:40Speaker 3: Anyway, No, every time I turn it on, it doesn't.
- 13:42Speaker 2: I don't know what you All you had to do
- 13:44Speaker 2: was say, I just turned it on. It's updating, and
- 13:45Speaker 2: it's dinging, and it's gonna make a bunch of noise,
- 13:47Speaker 2: so I'm trying to hide it. Yes, that's all you
- 13:49Speaker 2: had to stay and said, you just stared at me
- 13:50Speaker 2: like I caught you doing something you didn't couldn't come
- 13:52Speaker 2: with the live vest.
- 13:53Speaker 3: I thought you would figure it out after a couple
- 13:55Speaker 3: of seconds.
- 13:56Speaker 2: No, it's eleven twenty eight at nights.
- 13:58Speaker 3: You just got locked up in a brain for okay.
- 14:01Speaker 2: So the reason Stu was saying that because I grew
- 14:03Speaker 2: up in a very religious household. But we were assemblies
- 14:06Speaker 2: of God. So he makes fun of because we were
- 14:07Speaker 2: that guitar We were the guitar folks. We did a
- 14:11Speaker 2: lot of loud music in town. We were frowned upon
- 14:15Speaker 2: by the Baptist of course. Anyways, she was part of
- 14:18Speaker 2: the school choir and she also played softball and was
- 14:23Speaker 2: really good at it. So she okay, where was I at? Sorry?
- 14:29Speaker 2: All right? So on August twenty sixth, two thousand and six,
- 14:31Speaker 2: it was a Saturday evening and Casey was headed out
- 14:34Speaker 2: to hang out with her friend Brian. Now, her parents
- 14:37Speaker 2: weren't worried at all. Casey was a very responsible teenager,
- 14:40Speaker 2: like we just said, very involved a church. She was
- 14:44Speaker 2: played sports like, just all around good kid anyways, and
- 14:49Speaker 2: they knew her friend Briann, so nothing to worry about there.
- 14:52Speaker 2: They were just happy that she was actually hanging out
- 14:54Speaker 2: with someone other than her stupid boyfriend Adam. You know
- 14:57Speaker 2: these teen girls damn Adam. Yes, she had spent you
- 15:02Speaker 2: know with spending every waking minute with Adam. So they're
- 15:04Speaker 2: just like, hey, I'm glad you're going to your friend's
- 15:06Speaker 2: house and doing something besides getting going Stewart what stop anyways,
- 15:12Speaker 2: because she spent Anyways, So Casey was gonna go be
- 15:17Speaker 2: gone overnight, and so when her mom got up in
- 15:22Speaker 2: the morning on Sunday to head to church with her
- 15:24Speaker 2: three younger brothers, she was surprised when she received a
- 15:28Speaker 2: call from Casey because it was like super early in
- 15:31Speaker 2: the morning. I think around like five is five thirty am,
- 15:34Speaker 2: and so like, if your teenage daughter has gone overnight,
- 15:38Speaker 2: the odds of them waking up at five thirty is
- 15:41Speaker 2: is low. If I would be concerned that she had
- 15:44Speaker 2: been up the whole night, that would be more likely
- 15:46Speaker 2: of a thing. But wasn't. She was surprised to get
- 15:50Speaker 2: the call, but she wasn't like too concerned about her
- 15:53Speaker 2: or anything like that. So she gets a call. Casey
- 15:56Speaker 2: said that she had run out of gas and that
- 15:58Speaker 2: she was around doing dumas dumas Arkansas. Dumbass Arkansas spelled
- 16:04Speaker 2: d u m a. It's dumas, I believe is how
- 16:08Speaker 2: they pronounced it, dumas Arkansas. So Casey told her mom,
- 16:13Speaker 2: you know, she described where she was. She said she
- 16:15Speaker 2: was near a hospital and then there was also a
- 16:17Speaker 2: gas station just not too far away, so she wasn't
- 16:20Speaker 2: like out there in the middle of nowhere. There was
- 16:22Speaker 2: businesses and things like that. Her mom tried to get
- 16:26Speaker 2: her to go to the hospital, get to get some help,
- 16:28Speaker 2: but Casey said that she would be fine. She just
- 16:30Speaker 2: keep walking to the gas station and she had some
- 16:33Speaker 2: cash on her. So her mom said that she offered
- 16:36Speaker 2: to come pick her up. But I don't think that's
- 16:39Speaker 2: true because as we as we go through this, I
- 16:43Speaker 2: watched an episode of See No Evil for this, So
- 16:47Speaker 2: is it what's going on?
- 16:48Speaker 3: I don't know. I've still got stuff coming in from
- 16:50Speaker 3: five days ago.
- 16:51Speaker 2: Okay, anyway, so stud's just doing weird shit over there
- 16:54Speaker 2: with this iPad an't even paying attention. Didn't get a
- 16:57Speaker 2: comment about dumbass Arkansas. Nothing there.
- 17:00Speaker 3: Well, I got the eye contact when you said dumb ass.
- 17:04Speaker 2: Yes, I was referring to you all right, sure you
- 17:09Speaker 2: were so anyway, so she said that she she said
- 17:12Speaker 2: that she would offer to pick come pick her up,
- 17:13Speaker 2: but Casey didn't want her to do that. So her
- 17:15Speaker 2: mom hung up and headed to church with the three boys.
- 17:18Speaker 2: And then around nine o'clock that morning, she calls in
- 17:21Speaker 2: to check with Casey before they headed into church. Well,
- 17:25Speaker 2: Casey doesn't answer her because this is this point, it's
- 17:27Speaker 2: been like three hours or whatever, so she should have
- 17:28Speaker 2: gotten gas and she should be on her way. Now
- 17:31Speaker 2: I'm getting mill oh God to do we got to
- 17:34Speaker 2: cancel the podcast. So anyway, so she calls her around
- 17:40Speaker 2: nine o'clock, doesn't get an answer from that, and she
- 17:44Speaker 2: thinks she thought maybe that this is where the mom
- 17:47Speaker 2: first said she offered to come in the documentary. And
- 17:50Speaker 2: I'm not trying to blame the mom or anything that,
- 17:52Speaker 2: I'm just saying there was some I think the mom
- 17:55Speaker 2: started making it sound better than it was when then
- 17:57Speaker 2: in actuality she didn't. I think she probably was like,
- 18:00Speaker 2: I've told you fifty million times to make sure and
- 18:02Speaker 2: put gas in your car, like you know, but that's
- 18:04Speaker 2: her Okay, yeah, you got murdin.
- 18:07Speaker 3: Yes.
- 18:08Speaker 2: So anyway, she said that she thought maybe she was
- 18:10Speaker 2: upset for her not going to pick her up or
- 18:12Speaker 2: going to help her, and so that she was ignoring
- 18:15Speaker 2: her calls or something as what the mom thought. She
- 18:17Speaker 2: still wasn't concerned at this point because again, she's in
- 18:20Speaker 2: this small little town or Arkansas, She's near all these businesses,
- 18:23Speaker 2: near this hospital, like, you know, what could go wrong.
- 18:27Speaker 2: So later that day churches out. She calls again and
- 18:30Speaker 2: she still can't get a hold of Casey. So she
- 18:32Speaker 2: calls her friend Brian, and she said that she hasn't
- 18:36Speaker 2: seen Casey, which is strange because Casey was supposed to
- 18:40Speaker 2: be spending the night with Brian. So there was some
- 18:42Speaker 2: sort of lie, some fucker going on. Now where Casey
- 18:46Speaker 2: was when she called about running out of gas, It
- 18:48Speaker 2: wasn't too far from the boyfriend, Adam's house, so that's
- 18:51Speaker 2: where the mom's like, okay, never mind, she didn't actually
- 18:53Speaker 2: go stay with Brian. She went and stayed the night
- 18:55Speaker 2: with her boyfriend and has run out of gas somewhere
- 18:59Speaker 2: over there by him. So she was she's so now
- 19:05Speaker 2: that she thinks the boyfriend's of all, she's not. She's
- 19:08Speaker 2: becoming a little bit concerned, but not too much. Well,
- 19:11Speaker 2: Casey's dad works it does like shift work or whatever,
- 19:15Speaker 2: so he had worked his like noon to midnight shift.
- 19:18Speaker 2: So all that time Casey's mom is like trying to
- 19:21Speaker 2: call a Casey everything like that and can't get a
- 19:24Speaker 2: hold of her. So by the time he gets home
- 19:26Speaker 2: at midnight, the dad she's in a full on panic mode.
- 19:29Speaker 2: She's like, this is I'm seriously concerned. Haven't heard from her?
- 19:33Speaker 2: Last ar heard was she ran onto gas. So as
- 19:35Speaker 2: soon as the husband finds out about it, he like
- 19:38Speaker 2: he goes into high gear. He's like, Okay, well we've
- 19:41Speaker 2: we've got to go look for her, because he's like,
- 19:44Speaker 2: this isn't normal. She should have been home or contacted
- 19:48Speaker 2: us by now. Remember it is two thousand and six,
- 19:51Speaker 2: so they have cell phones, but it's not like today's world.
- 19:54Speaker 3: Can't find my phone.
- 19:56Speaker 2: Yeah, man, it's been twenty years. That's crazy. It's twenty
- 19:59Speaker 2: twenty six. Do it's twenty twenty six that it is
- 20:06Speaker 2: getting old?
- 20:07Speaker 3: You are?
- 20:08Speaker 2: Yeah, baby, Jessica's.
- 20:09Speaker 3: Getting older, Yes she is. She Sam edges you, Stuart,
- 20:15Speaker 3: why do you.
- 20:15Speaker 2: Need to talk about things like that? What she's twenty eight?
- 20:19Speaker 2: I know, just a spring chicken, old chicken, just a
- 20:23Speaker 2: young young little lass lassie lass lasses boy.
- 20:27Speaker 3: Right. Anyways, Casey's mom and dad hop in the car.
- 20:31Speaker 3: They head over to Dumas at around one am, and
- 20:35Speaker 3: they had to wear.
- 20:36Speaker 2: Casey described around one am. Yes, Dumas or however you
- 20:43Speaker 2: pronounce it is about forty five minutes from Pine Bluff.
- 20:47Speaker 3: Yes, I have that.
- 20:48Speaker 2: Okay, Oh okay, I put that in there.
- 20:52Speaker 3: I guess that's one less sentence I have to read.
- 20:55Speaker 2: Well, you're not good at it anyway, so damn.
- 20:59Speaker 3: They had to wear. Casey described her car running out
- 21:02Speaker 3: of gas, and to their surprise, they do find her
- 21:05Speaker 3: car there, but there's no sign of Casey.
- 21:07Speaker 2: Yeah, because they weren't expecting to find the car they
- 21:09Speaker 2: thought she had she was mad at him, or maybe
- 21:11Speaker 2: she just like decided she was mad or yeah, like
- 21:14Speaker 2: they didn't expect. They were really concerned once they saw
- 21:17Speaker 2: the car there, because I like, okay, something really bad happened.
- 21:20Speaker 3: Yes, hopefully it's not terrible. They immediately called nine to
- 21:24Speaker 3: one one and police show up and get a rundown
- 21:26Speaker 3: of what Casey's last movements that they knew were. They
- 21:30Speaker 3: find out that she was going to walk to the
- 21:32Speaker 3: Exon station, which was about a half mile away, so
- 21:35Speaker 3: they had that way to see if anybody had seen her.
- 21:38Speaker 3: They interviewed the clerks, but nobody remember seeing her that
- 21:41Speaker 3: morning and it would have been around five thirty in
- 21:44Speaker 3: the morning.
- 21:44Speaker 2: Well, they were thinking it would have been around five
- 21:46Speaker 2: thirty because that's when she called them all, so the
- 21:48Speaker 2: people who worked at I was thinking about this. I
- 21:50Speaker 2: was like, well, they asked the people at night, but
- 21:51Speaker 2: the people at night would have been the five thirty
- 21:53Speaker 2: am shift, Like, that's not a Most people work the
- 21:56Speaker 2: night shift till whatever time, and then the NORDON people
- 21:59Speaker 2: come in on like six or something like that.
- 22:01Speaker 3: So they are able to obtain the security footage and
- 22:05Speaker 3: they never do see Casey arrive at the gas station.
- 22:09Speaker 3: At this point, they call in an amber alert and
- 22:11Speaker 3: Casey's mom decides that she's going to stay in Dumas,
- 22:14Speaker 3: which is about forty five minutes from Pine Bluff. I've
- 22:17Speaker 3: heard that, and she's going to help search for her
- 22:20Speaker 3: daughter there. The next morning. They are able to get
- 22:23Speaker 3: the state police and the FBI involved very quickly, and
- 22:26Speaker 3: they put together a search party to look for Casey.
- 22:29Speaker 3: They are unable to find Casey or any clues as
- 22:32Speaker 3: to her whereabouts during that search, however.
- 22:35Speaker 2: Yeah, because the dad did you know, she had the
- 22:37Speaker 2: three younger brothers. So the dad went back home to
- 22:39Speaker 2: but the mom got a hotel there to be involved
- 22:43Speaker 2: with the searches and things like that. Now, with no
- 22:46Speaker 2: sign of Casey, they turned to video surveillance in the areas,
- 22:49Speaker 2: so they start with this McDonald's to see if maybe
- 22:51Speaker 2: she had gone in there, like was walking, stopped in,
- 22:54Speaker 2: got some breakfast everything because it was on the way
- 22:57Speaker 2: to the gas station. Because personally, that's what I would
- 22:59Speaker 2: have done, especially if I was seventeen with that metabolism.
- 23:04Speaker 2: You know, I used to go for I used to
- 23:07Speaker 2: eat that all the time. Was in the morning. We
- 23:09Speaker 2: would get breakfast at McDonald's and I always get like
- 23:12Speaker 2: two hash browns and a doctor pepper. And you know,
- 23:15Speaker 2: if I've ever hungover, which it hasn't, it's been a
- 23:18Speaker 2: long time, but when I'm hungover, that's like really hits
- 23:22Speaker 2: a spot for me. Those ass and.
- 23:26Speaker 3: A real doctor get from Walmart. The same for you.
- 23:30Speaker 2: No, no, there's nothing like a McDonald's hash brown stew get.
- 23:35Speaker 3: From the Walmart and they're on the air fire great.
- 23:38Speaker 2: No, I mean they're okay, but they're not a McDonald's
- 23:41Speaker 2: hash brown although they McDonald's has gotten real, real proud
- 23:45Speaker 2: of their hash browns. Let me tell you. I'm like,
- 23:47Speaker 2: come on, guys, get on. It's like it's not that special.
- 23:51Speaker 2: It's not worth like two fifty each, Like it's crazy.
- 23:54Speaker 2: You have to get the deal to make it worth it.
- 23:56Speaker 2: They used to be a dollar. They're not that anymore.
- 23:58Speaker 3: They're like to get the pack from Walmart for like
- 24:00Speaker 3: two dollars.
- 24:02Speaker 2: Yes, you can, but it's still not the same. The
- 24:05Speaker 2: home made hash runs I make are really good when
- 24:07Speaker 2: I actually do the whole potato in the shredder and
- 24:10Speaker 2: do all the steps. Anyways, that's neither here there. Actually
- 24:13Speaker 2: I make a really good hashbun remely. The once I
- 24:15Speaker 2: made with the parme I looked. I saw a video
- 24:17Speaker 2: on how to make it with the parmesan cheese and
- 24:19Speaker 2: it make it stick. Those were really good. It's just
- 24:23Speaker 2: a lot of work.
- 24:23Speaker 3: You know. I haven't eaten yet.
- 24:24Speaker 2: Right yeah, oh yeah, you he hasn't eaten dinner yet
- 24:29Speaker 2: because we did. You know, dinner on the strolls too,
- 24:33Speaker 2: if you will, you know, trademark trademark, we're trademarking that
- 24:39Speaker 2: dinner on the stroll. So where was I? Oh, yeah,
- 24:44Speaker 2: so she didn't stop at the McDonald's. They look at
- 24:46Speaker 2: the footage, she's not there or anything that. They also
- 24:48Speaker 2: look at the hospital cameras that were facing the highway,
- 24:51Speaker 2: but it was like the hospital camera was facing the door.
- 24:55Speaker 2: It had a small view like a like a side view.
- 24:58Speaker 2: The camera would catch some of the highay. Nothing really
- 25:01Speaker 2: pointed towards the highway. It was all these local businesses
- 25:03Speaker 2: had it pointing, you know, because they cared about what
- 25:05Speaker 2: was happening at their Yeah. So at the time though
- 25:10Speaker 2: the hospital one was pointing, it was dark out so
- 25:13Speaker 2: they couldn't see anything but like lights passing by. So
- 25:17Speaker 2: that wasn't really helpful whatsoever. So this did not but
- 25:22Speaker 2: they there was nothing they could find anywhere that indicated
- 25:26Speaker 2: Casey had walked had made it to that gas station.
- 25:30Speaker 2: Now with this information, they believe that Casey never actually
- 25:32Speaker 2: left her vehicle, that she must have gotten into a
- 25:34Speaker 2: vehicle with somebody else. But was this someone else someone
- 25:38Speaker 2: she knew, or was it a stranger or did something
- 25:40Speaker 2: someone like abductor Now their next step was to go
- 25:43Speaker 2: and talk to the boyfriend Adam, who they believe she
- 25:46Speaker 2: spent the night with instead of her friend Brian. Now,
- 25:49Speaker 2: they arrived at his home and he walks them through
- 25:51Speaker 2: Saturday night. He said that Casey came over that they
- 25:54Speaker 2: went to Sonic and grabbed some food, which that Sonic
- 25:57Speaker 2: is was on that path too, so that'll come up
- 26:01Speaker 2: them looking at the Sonics footage as well. So they
- 26:05Speaker 2: got some food, they hung out and then she spent
- 26:07Speaker 2: the night. He said that they made out. Is that all, adam? Now,
- 26:13Speaker 2: as they continue talking to him, he admitted that they
- 26:16Speaker 2: smoke some pot. He's like, well, actually, we smoked some
- 26:19Speaker 2: pot and we made out, is what he said. Asked
- 26:21Speaker 2: him when she left, and he said around five am,
- 26:24Speaker 2: and he had given her some gas money, which does
- 26:27Speaker 2: follow what she said. She called her mom. She said
- 26:29Speaker 2: she had some cash for gas. Now, he said that
- 26:32Speaker 2: around that time she was leaving, his friend Jimmy came
- 26:36Speaker 2: over to see if he wanted to go fishing, and
- 26:39Speaker 2: he declined. Now, Jimmy was with another friend named Jay,
- 26:43Speaker 2: and they did say they didn't tell us how old
- 26:45Speaker 2: Jimmy was, but they did say Jay was like forty
- 26:47Speaker 2: five years old hanging out with these like Casey's seventeen
- 26:50Speaker 2: years old. So the boyfriend's around a little bit older
- 26:54Speaker 2: than that. And then we got this forty five year old.
- 26:57Speaker 3: Jay come then come hang out and fish with Jimmy.
- 27:00Speaker 2: Was a co worker, so that's where I saw. I
- 27:02Speaker 2: was like, okay, well that's how that age gap could happen,
- 27:04Speaker 2: because like your co workers, Like my best coworker is
- 27:12Speaker 2: a sixty something year old woman, So me and her
- 27:15Speaker 2: are best buds at work, Like.
- 27:17Speaker 3: You get together, you're not going to do that anything outside.
- 27:21Speaker 2: Well, but if we were, if we were, if we
- 27:25Speaker 2: had a common thing, like I've talked about go and
- 27:27Speaker 2: play bingo with their Yeah what she goes and plays
- 27:33Speaker 2: bingo and they drink whatever whither, they're like, daddy, let me,
- 27:37Speaker 2: you need to like go do this stuff. So anyway,
- 27:40Speaker 2: so and then like I have other and then I
- 27:44Speaker 2: have someone that's probably like that that she probably thinks me.
- 27:46Speaker 2: There's another girl that's like twenty something that I've told
- 27:48Speaker 2: you about that was my cue cubicle mate. And so
- 27:51Speaker 2: me and her were we're I would always talk at
- 27:54Speaker 2: work and everything about everything. So it's like you have
- 27:56Speaker 2: these age gaps when you're there your coworker, because the
- 28:00Speaker 2: real world isn't like schools. You know you don't get
- 28:03Speaker 2: people all your same age. Well, well, everybody acts like
- 28:06Speaker 2: schools like search great preparation for like life. It's not
- 28:10Speaker 2: at all. There is never a time after school that
- 28:13Speaker 2: you were just in a room with people the same
- 28:15Speaker 2: age as you. You are in a room with you
- 28:19Speaker 2: are working with people that are all different ages, all
- 28:21Speaker 2: different backgrounds, everything like that. It's not it's not. I'm
- 28:25Speaker 2: just saying it's not what they make it sound like
- 28:27Speaker 2: that school's like this this huge thing that makes you
- 28:30Speaker 2: help you be social and everything, because trust me, I
- 28:34Speaker 2: was a product of the public school system, and I
- 28:37Speaker 2: panic when I see somebody I know out in public.
- 28:40Speaker 2: Do you yes, yes, I mean do.
- 28:44Speaker 3: I I mean you panic when you see somebody Like.
- 28:47Speaker 2: If I see someone, I'm like, oh god, I'm having
- 28:48Speaker 2: to talk to them, Oh god, Or I have to
- 28:49Speaker 2: make small talk. I'm not good at that. But I
- 28:52Speaker 2: am good at it, but I think i'm not.
- 28:55Speaker 3: But yeah, that's what I said with sarcasm.
- 28:58Speaker 2: Anyway, So oh, I thought you were really being like,
- 29:01Speaker 2: I'm like, you know that I don't want to see
- 29:03Speaker 2: anybody I know.
- 29:04Speaker 3: Out about the school, but not being a good Oh
- 29:08Speaker 3: good for uh.
- 29:09Speaker 2: Okay, I really feel like we've we've gone off. We
- 29:12Speaker 2: have so anyway, so that was my That was my
- 29:14Speaker 2: explanation though why Jay would be so much.
- 29:17Speaker 3: Older Jimmy probably somewhat older than.
- 29:20Speaker 2: Yeah, there's like a connector, like it's not just some
- 29:23Speaker 2: forty five year old man hanging out with a bunch
- 29:25Speaker 2: of teenagers like he's a creep or something.
- 29:27Speaker 3: Guessing Jimmy was in his late twenty We don't know,
- 29:30Speaker 3: it's probably yeah, most likely. Yes, I'm theorized. Okay, I'm
- 29:35Speaker 3: spitballing since you brought it up and talked.
- 29:37Speaker 2: About it, bro Okay, I was just trying to help
- 29:39Speaker 2: the people out.
- 29:40Speaker 3: With this new information about Jimmy and Jay. Police go
- 29:44Speaker 3: and track them down to interview them about seeing Casey
- 29:47Speaker 3: that day. They first picked to Jimmy and he does
- 29:49Speaker 3: tell them that they passed by a case He's vehicle
- 29:52Speaker 3: at around seven o'clock that morning, which was confirmed by
- 29:55Speaker 3: some video footage from the Sonic where they got their
- 29:58Speaker 3: meal from that was pointing towards the road. There is
- 30:02Speaker 3: a bit of confusion because Jimmy says that they didn't
- 30:05Speaker 3: stop at Casey's vehicle. However, when they interviewed Jay, he
- 30:09Speaker 3: tells the same story, except he says that they went
- 30:11Speaker 3: up to the gas station to see if they could
- 30:13Speaker 3: help if they could find Casey, and then went back
- 30:16Speaker 3: and checked the vehicle out. Jay went on to say
- 30:19Speaker 3: when they couldn't find Casey, they headed back to Adam's
- 30:22Speaker 3: house and let him know that Casey's vehicle was on
- 30:24Speaker 3: the side of the road. Adam called Casey, but it
- 30:27Speaker 3: went straight to boy smail. So they just proceeded to
- 30:30Speaker 3: go fishing for the rest of the day and not
- 30:33Speaker 3: look for Casey.
- 30:34Speaker 2: What a great boyfriend? Really just ten out of ten
- 30:38Speaker 2: Just she's her car is abandon on the side of
- 30:42Speaker 2: the road. It's not there. Maybe he thought her parents
- 30:45Speaker 2: came picked up and she was in trouble, you know that,
- 30:48Speaker 2: That's what That's partially what I was thinking, Like he's like, oh,
- 30:51Speaker 2: I need to leave her alone. She's in trouble because
- 30:52Speaker 2: she wasn't supposed.
- 30:53Speaker 3: To be here. I'd be throwing a text and be like, hey,
- 30:55Speaker 3: what's up. Police have really nothing else to hold the
- 30:58Speaker 3: guys for. Oh, they let them go to continue to
- 31:02Speaker 3: investigate Casey's disappearance.
- 31:05Speaker 2: Okay, So days go by with no new leads, and
- 31:07Speaker 2: they continue to search for Casey, continue having search parties,
- 31:11Speaker 2: everything like that. Now, in September second, two thousand and six,
- 31:14Speaker 2: a National Guardsman was searching the woods about four miles
- 31:18Speaker 2: from where Casey's vehicle was located, and he comes upon
- 31:20Speaker 2: a body. Investigators are called out to the scene as
- 31:23Speaker 2: well as a crime scene unit, and it's clear that
- 31:25Speaker 2: the manner of death is a zip tie around her neck.
- 31:29Speaker 3: That is just yeah.
- 31:30Speaker 2: The investigator and he was from like the state or FBI.
- 31:35Speaker 2: He's like, I've never seen anything like do like any
- 31:40Speaker 2: anybody do that to somebody. I mean, I've heard I
- 31:42Speaker 2: feel like I've heard that happen before, But he said
- 31:45Speaker 2: he'd never seen anything.
- 31:46Speaker 3: I don't think it was a thing back in two
- 31:48Speaker 3: thousand and six. I think more people have been murdered
- 31:51Speaker 3: that way here in the last few years though, because
- 31:54Speaker 3: I have heard of it more.
- 31:55Speaker 2: Yeah, it must be the new the new things do okay,
- 32:00Speaker 2: just gonna keep going so we don't get ourselves in trouble,
- 32:02Speaker 2: all right. So it's they find the zip tie, so
- 32:04Speaker 2: that's clear that that's the manner of death. Then she
- 32:07Speaker 2: was then disposed of in the woods. Now, during the autopsy,
- 32:10Speaker 2: they were unable to determine whether she was sexually assaulted
- 32:13Speaker 2: or not. Her underwear were ripped, but there was no
- 32:16Speaker 2: indications that she was sexually assaulted. So it sounds like
- 32:19Speaker 2: maybe the person intended to do that and maybe something
- 32:23Speaker 2: happened or they you know, changed their mind or panicked
- 32:28Speaker 2: or something like that. At the end, now that they
- 32:31Speaker 2: know what has happened to Casey, they go back and
- 32:34Speaker 2: review a little bit some more of the camera footage
- 32:37Speaker 2: because now they know someone someone picked her up at
- 32:41Speaker 2: that from there and that now they're going back, they're like, okay,
- 32:44Speaker 2: we know she didn't just run off or anything, that
- 32:46Speaker 2: someone has actually kidnapped and murdered her. So they have
- 32:52Speaker 2: they focus the camera angle. They focus on the camera
- 32:55Speaker 2: angle from the sonnet because that's their best bet at
- 32:57Speaker 2: seeing any but any cars passing on the road. Now
- 33:02Speaker 2: they aren't able to tell what these vehicles are because
- 33:04Speaker 2: again it's like the sonic camera is pointing at the
- 33:07Speaker 2: sonic just the very tip top of the camera angle
- 33:11Speaker 2: is just this little sliver and it's not even the
- 33:13Speaker 2: full cars you can see. It's like the bottoms you
- 33:16Speaker 2: can see most of the car, but like even the
- 33:18Speaker 2: hoods of the car are cut off, Like that's all
- 33:20Speaker 2: they have to go on is like trying to figure
- 33:22Speaker 2: out something from this, but it is down from where
- 33:24Speaker 2: they know where Casey's car was, So any cars that
- 33:27Speaker 2: passed they they are trying to figure out who they who,
- 33:31Speaker 2: what kind of car it is, so they can, you know,
- 33:33Speaker 2: do more investigation on those cars. So they do see
- 33:37Speaker 2: that there is a it looked like a white truck.
- 33:42Speaker 2: It had like some sort of black markings on the side.
- 33:45Speaker 2: It wasn't words or anything, it was like a design
- 33:48Speaker 2: on this side. They see the truck pass by the
- 33:52Speaker 2: Sonic and then three minutes later it turns around and
- 33:56Speaker 2: it comes back. So they're like, okay, was this a
- 33:59Speaker 2: person who pass by Casey? So because then passed back by,
- 34:03Speaker 2: so the vehicle was headed towards Casey. Then they cut
- 34:07Speaker 2: the vehicle comes pass back. Well the way that it
- 34:09Speaker 2: was going again, the direction it was going was where
- 34:11Speaker 2: her body was towards where her body was dumb, So
- 34:14Speaker 2: they're like, maybe this vehicle has something to do with it.
- 34:19Speaker 2: So they focus in on this truck, but they need
- 34:21Speaker 2: to determine what type of truck it is, because again
- 34:24Speaker 2: it's very blurring and everything that. So they take a
- 34:26Speaker 2: picture the best they can get. They run around to
- 34:28Speaker 2: all the car dealerships in the area and they say, hey,
- 34:31Speaker 2: do you recognize this vehicle or anything like that, because
- 34:34Speaker 2: that is a pretty good ideal to go and to
- 34:36Speaker 2: ask car dealerships because they spend all day looking at vehicles.
- 34:40Speaker 2: And so they get to the Chevrolet dealership and he
- 34:42Speaker 2: RECOGNI recognized it as a two thousand model truck, so
- 34:47Speaker 2: they at least have that to go on now. So
- 34:50Speaker 2: now that they have the type of vehicle they are
- 34:51Speaker 2: looking for, they go around the cameras around town and
- 34:54Speaker 2: we're able to spot the vehicle again passing by a
- 34:57Speaker 2: Dollar General. Again, the Dollar General camera is actually inside
- 35:00Speaker 2: the store and it's pointing out the door and the
- 35:05Speaker 2: glass was clean enough, which is a miracle at a Dolge. Yeah,
- 35:09Speaker 2: because you know, if you walk going a Dollar General, like.
- 35:12Speaker 3: Depends on where to go. I've been in some pretty
- 35:13Speaker 3: nice ones that are claim what the exception they got
- 35:16Speaker 3: their ship there?
- 35:17Speaker 2: They have ship all in the fucking aisles.
- 35:20Speaker 3: You can't burns down, and you're in the back of
- 35:23Speaker 3: the store.
- 35:23Speaker 2: You're just it's like it's like I don't understand who's
- 35:26Speaker 2: running the Dollar Generals or if this is like their
- 35:30Speaker 2: their system, because it's just piled in the in the aisles,
- 35:34Speaker 2: just piled all their socks.
- 35:35Speaker 3: Like we're cart full of shit.
- 35:38Speaker 2: Just you go around the corners, it's just there. Yeah,
- 35:41Speaker 2: it's like anyway, So they were able to see the
- 35:44Speaker 2: vehicle again again that truck is passing, is going towards
- 35:48Speaker 2: where uh her body was uh placed. And so now
- 35:54Speaker 2: they really feel like whoever was driving this truck had
- 35:58Speaker 2: something to do with or they really wanted to talk
- 36:00Speaker 2: to them about Casey and if they saw her that day.
- 36:04Speaker 3: With this truck being such a common vehicle, they didn't
- 36:08Speaker 3: really have much else to go on. So the police
- 36:10Speaker 3: were like, hey, what if we set up a roadblock
- 36:13Speaker 3: on Sunday, which was the same day that Casey was abducted.
- 36:19Speaker 3: They wanted to see if this person possibly drove this
- 36:22Speaker 3: route similar schedule on a Sunday and lo and behold,
- 36:27Speaker 3: they couldn't believe their luck when they did find a
- 36:29Speaker 3: man with two kids driving in this truck. They saw
- 36:33Speaker 3: on camera. His name was Kenneth Osborn and he said
- 36:36Speaker 3: that he drove that road every Sunday taking his daughter
- 36:39Speaker 3: to the nursing home where she worked. He said he
- 36:42Speaker 3: would have been driving that same route last Sunday as well.
- 36:46Speaker 3: They asked Kenneth to come in and talk to investigators.
- 36:48Speaker 3: They found out that he was an over the road
- 36:50Speaker 3: truck driver and that his wife was deceased, so he
- 36:54Speaker 3: was raising his two children on his own. Noble fella,
- 36:58Speaker 3: Oh not something, Wait a minute, he did have a
- 37:01Speaker 3: sexual assault charge in his history.
- 37:03Speaker 2: However, didn't read all the way through a noble fella
- 37:10Speaker 2: raising his children that.
- 37:12Speaker 3: He that he's some guy might just them off on.
- 37:15Speaker 2: Okay, but why is he a noble for doing that?
- 37:17Speaker 2: That's basic? This is this is the thing that women
- 37:19Speaker 2: get annoyed with. This is basic. If a mom, if
- 37:23Speaker 2: a husband died and the mom took over for you
- 37:26Speaker 2: would not say no, You would not have no fucking
- 37:29Speaker 2: lie to me. Don't look at me in the face
- 37:31Speaker 2: and lied to me. Men can do the most basic
- 37:34Speaker 2: shit for the children, and women think and ever or not.
- 37:38Speaker 2: It is also women are the culprits. Think that they're
- 37:41Speaker 2: just like going above me. Oh my god, you take
- 37:43Speaker 2: the kids to school every day. Wow, what a great dad.
- 37:46Speaker 2: It's like the moms are over there all on the line,
- 37:48Speaker 2: like ninety nine percent of the people dropping with the
- 37:50Speaker 2: kids off as the mom and everybody cared gives two
- 37:52Speaker 2: shits about it. So it's not noble that he took
- 37:55Speaker 2: care of his two children. That was his that's his
- 37:58Speaker 2: baseline of what he's supposed to do if his wife died.
- 38:02Speaker 3: Stu, I'll just throw some bad out there, see if
- 38:05Speaker 3: you'd rise to it.
- 38:06Speaker 2: Oh please. Anyways, so they asked him about his actions
- 38:12Speaker 2: that day, and he tells them that he took his
- 38:15Speaker 2: daughter to the nursing home and then headed home after that.
- 38:18Speaker 2: He never mentions so the way that he was driving
- 38:21Speaker 2: the first way that would have been heading home from
- 38:26Speaker 2: dropping her off, so he should have never came back
- 38:29Speaker 2: the other way, so he never mentions coming back. So
- 38:32Speaker 2: his truck clearly went that way and then turned around
- 38:34Speaker 2: and came back.
- 38:36Speaker 3: So he headed back towards the nursing home.
- 38:38Speaker 2: Yes, I think so.
- 38:40Speaker 3: So he was driving like he was leaving.
- 38:42Speaker 2: The nursing like he was headed home, yes.
- 38:45Speaker 3: From dropping the daughter off. Yes. And then the U
- 38:47Speaker 3: turn they saw he would have been heading back to
- 38:49Speaker 3: the nursing home.
- 38:50Speaker 2: Well, yes, he would have just been headed back in
- 38:51Speaker 2: the opposite direction of what he came in so anyway,
- 38:55Speaker 2: So he never mentions making a U turn that day
- 38:58Speaker 2: or anything like that. But again, he could have just
- 39:00Speaker 2: if he does this every week, it may have not
- 39:02Speaker 2: stood out. I mean, I don't know if I would
- 39:03Speaker 2: have remembered exactly what I did if it's a routine
- 39:06Speaker 2: thing that you do. So they're kind of like, hey,
- 39:09Speaker 2: we actually saw on the camera that you turned around
- 39:12Speaker 2: and came back. He's like, oh yeah, He's like, I
- 39:15Speaker 2: completely forgot. I had reached down. I thought I had
- 39:17Speaker 2: more cigarettes. I didn't, so I turned around and went
- 39:20Speaker 2: back to get some and then headed home. Problem was
- 39:24Speaker 2: he only went the one direction they never saw. They
- 39:27Speaker 2: watched the cameras he he did as you turned, headed
- 39:30Speaker 2: back that direction, and then never came he if he
- 39:32Speaker 2: was going home, he would have got the cigarettes. They
- 39:34Speaker 2: would have seen him pass a third time.
- 39:35Speaker 3: Where I was going to get the cigarettes from.
- 39:38Speaker 2: Uh. I think he was just gonna go to that
- 39:39Speaker 2: gas station that probably that ex on or whatever. So
- 39:44Speaker 2: he never mentions that he he went anywhere else, and
- 39:48Speaker 2: they should have seen him a third time, not just
- 39:51Speaker 2: the two times that he drove by. Stu's asking questions,
- 39:55Speaker 2: I don't know if he went to the exon to
- 39:56Speaker 2: but I just made that up. I don't. I just assumed.
- 39:59Speaker 2: I'm making assumptions like you whatever. You No, they don't
- 40:05Speaker 2: have cameras wherever you went. They didn't have cameras where
- 40:08Speaker 2: he went to get cigarettes. They never mentioned it. If
- 40:10Speaker 2: they looked, they didn't mention it. They're focusing on the
- 40:13Speaker 2: fact that he said he was headed he went home
- 40:18Speaker 2: after getting the cigarettes, but he never passed that way.
- 40:20Speaker 2: They also know that he went in front of the
- 40:22Speaker 2: Dollar General, which was nowhere near headed towards his home,
- 40:25Speaker 2: and he never mentioned that either. So things just aren't
- 40:29Speaker 2: adding up with him, and so they're really thinking like
- 40:33Speaker 2: maybe he had something to do with this or something
- 40:35Speaker 2: like that. So all of this again is circumstantial, so
- 40:38Speaker 2: they need they let him go. They continue to look
- 40:40Speaker 2: into his story. They were able to get his cell
- 40:42Speaker 2: phone records and he actually pinged near Casey's vehicle around
- 40:45Speaker 2: seven am, and then thirteen minutes later he pinged near
- 40:49Speaker 2: where her body was found due he did not ping
- 40:53Speaker 2: near his home during this time that he said he
- 40:55Speaker 2: was headed back home. So anyways, as word got around that,
- 41:00Speaker 2: so now they're really like, Okay, this guy's this guy's
- 41:04Speaker 2: our guy or whatever he's He's got his cell phone
- 41:07Speaker 2: and that's like four miles away. I don't know how
- 41:09Speaker 2: all the cell phone towers were, but he being near
- 41:11Speaker 2: the cell phone tower near where her body was found.
- 41:15Speaker 2: The fact is is that he didn't he said one
- 41:17Speaker 2: story and then none of us. He could have said
- 41:19Speaker 2: I went back into town, I drove like this, but
- 41:21Speaker 2: he never did said any of that. He said he
- 41:23Speaker 2: went got his cigarettes and then went back home. So
- 41:26Speaker 2: as word gets out that Kenneth was a suspect, a
- 41:29Speaker 2: coworker of his daughters comes forward. Now she said that
- 41:33Speaker 2: she saw Kenneth that morning. She waved at him in
- 41:37Speaker 2: his truck, which she said if she ever saw him,
- 41:40Speaker 2: he was always super friendly. And it was weird to
- 41:44Speaker 2: her because he actually didn't wave back at her like
- 41:46Speaker 2: she waves and she's like it's stuck out to her,
- 41:48Speaker 2: like wow, he's just looked at me and just yeah,
- 41:51Speaker 2: didn't interact whatsoever. And so she also said that she
- 41:55Speaker 2: saw a girl in the passenger seat slumped over like
- 41:58Speaker 2: to the side, leaning against the door. Now, she said
- 42:02Speaker 2: initially she thought it was his daughter. However, when she
- 42:05Speaker 2: got to work that day, the daughter was already there,
- 42:08Speaker 2: so she was confused by this. But of course, but
- 42:11Speaker 2: you know, she didn't think. She didn't think, oh, wow,
- 42:15Speaker 2: Kenneth old Kenny over there, he abducted a girl and
- 42:20Speaker 2: went to go murder like. It didn't cross Yes, it
- 42:23Speaker 2: didn't cross across her mind that this it just but
- 42:26Speaker 2: she did remember it stick standing out to her that
- 42:28Speaker 2: he didn't wave at her.
- 42:29Speaker 3: She doesn't watch a bunch of crime shows like.
- 42:32Speaker 2: Yeah, Like I would have totally been like, oh my god,
- 42:35Speaker 2: I saw.
- 42:35Speaker 3: Your dad with some chick in the truck slumped over.
- 42:38Speaker 3: What's up that about?
- 42:40Speaker 2: Is he seeing someone? Yeah? I totally would have been like, oh,
- 42:46Speaker 2: I would have been on like full on Nancy uh
- 42:51Speaker 2: Grace or Nancy Drew. I would have been investigating. I
- 42:55Speaker 2: would have been trying to get some information from I
- 42:58Speaker 2: would have been I did wouldn't want to come front
- 43:00Speaker 2: her directly in case she was involved. It was like
- 43:02Speaker 2: one of those weird situations. I'd be just nonchalantly just
- 43:05Speaker 2: throughout the day, just trying to ask a few questions, see.
- 43:08Speaker 3: If we're if the daughter tried to bring you a
- 43:10Speaker 3: cup of coffee or teeth and she had never done
- 43:14Speaker 3: such a thing. Before he'd be like, eh.
- 43:16Speaker 2: Yes, I would have been completely like, it would have
- 43:19Speaker 2: consumed my It would have if this had happened to me,
- 43:23Speaker 2: this is what happens to me. This would have consumed
- 43:25Speaker 2: my entire freaking day.
- 43:27Speaker 3: I would and then I would have been collateral damage
- 43:32Speaker 3: because she would have been talking to me and it
- 43:33Speaker 3: would have consumed my entire day.
- 43:36Speaker 2: This is and then all of a sudden, as as
- 43:39Speaker 2: hardcore as I was about it, I'll drop it and
- 43:42Speaker 2: move on to the next thing.
- 43:43Speaker 3: And then I'll ask you about it, and you'll be like,
- 43:44Speaker 3: why are you still talking about.
- 43:45Speaker 2: It's like when I was opening that bakery. I'm sure
- 43:48Speaker 2: it'll happen again. It'll be fine.
- 43:51Speaker 3: The bakery, the home bakery.
- 43:52Speaker 2: Remember I bought all this stuff? Yes, I mean yeah.
- 43:57Speaker 2: And then now we're I lose.
- 43:59Speaker 3: Five dollars on the scratch off at the end of
- 44:01Speaker 3: the world. She buys sixty dollars worth of home business
- 44:04Speaker 3: stuff that never gets on box.
- 44:06Speaker 2: And it's like, listen, I've got a lot of I've
- 44:08Speaker 2: got a lot of dreams and not a lot of times.
- 44:11Speaker 3: Do ok. I know you're pushing fifty now.
- 44:14Speaker 1: Stewart now says you, says you pushing fifty, pushing fifty
- 44:24Speaker 1: in the rear view mirror.
- 44:25Speaker 2: More like for you, motherfucker. It is now twelve oh
- 44:29Speaker 2: four am, it is Friday.
- 44:32Speaker 3: And you still ain't put the podcast out. Jesus Christ. Now,
- 44:36Speaker 3: with this information, police are able to arrest him for
- 44:39Speaker 3: the kidnapping and the murder of Casey. They brought him
- 44:43Speaker 3: into the interview and it did take several hours. Boy,
- 44:47Speaker 3: that was a marble mouth right there. It did take
- 44:50Speaker 3: several hours, but he did eventually confess to killing Casey.
- 44:55Speaker 3: He claims he didn't mean to kill her and that
- 44:57Speaker 3: he put the zip tie on her neck to try
- 44:59Speaker 3: and control but then she started to die.
- 45:03Speaker 2: Now there's like no, Now, there's some controversy about this case.
- 45:08Speaker 2: I was looking in I was looking into it. There
- 45:14Speaker 2: was a very extensive post on Reddit that someone had
- 45:17Speaker 2: written out of a lot of information about why whatever.
- 45:21Speaker 2: You're watching the interview and the police are talking about.
- 45:24Speaker 2: They're like, so you put the zip tie around her neck,
- 45:27Speaker 2: didn't you? And he's like yes, Like they're they're leading
- 45:32Speaker 2: the the him. He was in there for several hours
- 45:35Speaker 2: and everything like that. So do I think he did it?
- 45:39Speaker 2: I don't know. I don't like, I'll be honest with you,
- 45:41Speaker 2: I don't know. I don't know.
- 45:43Speaker 3: You think it was a coer.
- 45:45Speaker 2: It looked seemed like it was coerced, and then uh
- 45:48Speaker 2: it was.
- 45:49Speaker 3: It was.
- 45:49Speaker 2: It was just like a lot of they never really
- 45:52Speaker 2: the show never talked about it, and I couldn't find
- 45:56Speaker 2: any more information. They never really talked about Jimmy and
- 46:00Speaker 2: Jay because actually, did we not put that in? Did
- 46:03Speaker 2: I don't put that in there? She called Jimmy around
- 46:08Speaker 2: seven o'clock or around the time that they thought that
- 46:11Speaker 2: she went missing. She called him several times to try Okay,
- 46:15Speaker 2: I don't know how I missed it, but you didn't
- 46:19Speaker 2: she because they kind of they didn't never really go
- 46:21Speaker 2: into Jimmy and Jay in the show. They just talked
- 46:23Speaker 2: about how it was weird how she called him a
- 46:25Speaker 2: couple of times, like maybe asking trying to get it
- 46:29Speaker 2: help or whatever him did, like maybe her boyfriend wasn't
- 46:31Speaker 2: answer the phone, so she called Jimmy to try to
- 46:34Speaker 2: get help. So they never really explored that, like what
- 46:38Speaker 2: why Jimmy and Jay were like, we don't know. I
- 46:42Speaker 2: couldn't find anything. It's like the police never looked into
- 46:44Speaker 2: it that they didn't talk about it on the show. Nothing.
- 46:47Speaker 3: They ever talked about finding any hairs or anything in
- 46:50Speaker 3: the truck of no caneths that belonged to her.
- 46:53Speaker 2: No. So I don't know if there was more information
- 46:56Speaker 2: and it just wasn't public knowledge or something like that
- 46:59Speaker 2: is all I was saying. Think is all I could
- 47:00Speaker 2: think that they heard about at the trial.
- 47:03Speaker 3: Row roade it because they already had a sexual assault charge.
- 47:05Speaker 2: Yeah, and I yeah, so I don't know. He did
- 47:08Speaker 2: look sketchy as fuck. I'll just tell you that, all right.
- 47:10Speaker 3: Okay, sketchy as fuck with a previous sexual assault charge, gilt.
- 47:16Speaker 3: We got a dad girl.
- 47:18Speaker 2: Yes not yes, guilty. So anyways, I will just preface
- 47:24Speaker 2: that that we I felt like there was a lot
- 47:27Speaker 2: to be left, and I couldn't find any more information online.
- 47:29Speaker 2: I looked. It seemed to.
- 47:31Speaker 3: Be very Are you gonna write Kenneth and find out?
- 47:34Speaker 2: No, stewart'st with you? Anyways?
- 47:39Speaker 3: It's one of them things where you might just not
- 47:41Speaker 3: drop it.
- 47:42Speaker 2: I just I am going to drop it. I'm too tired.
- 47:44Speaker 2: I got too many kids to be warned about this.
- 47:46Speaker 2: Don't like this, Okay, I'm sorry, Kenny. If you didn't
- 47:49Speaker 2: do it and you're in jail now.
- 47:52Speaker 3: In twenty thirteen, Kenneth was convicted of murder and he
- 47:55Speaker 3: was sentenced to thirty years and then he got an
- 47:58Speaker 3: additional ten years for the kidnap. Now, as Kara was saying,
- 48:03Speaker 3: there is some controversy around the interrogation, and so will
- 48:09Speaker 3: this guy get a new trial one day?
- 48:10Speaker 2: No, he already did his appeal. He lost. But part
- 48:14Speaker 2: of the reddit posts that that the person put through
- 48:18Speaker 2: are put together was possibly there was more in the
- 48:23Speaker 2: trial that maybe we weren't privy to that they didn't
- 48:26Speaker 2: release that they were where because someone convicted him of.
- 48:32Speaker 3: They said he'd done it, Yes, they said absolutely.
- 48:35Speaker 2: Yes, so but there was like questions like if he
- 48:39Speaker 2: was if he had sexual assault in his history, like
- 48:41Speaker 2: why didn't he did he like panic when she died.
- 48:44Speaker 2: I'm guessing what they're thinking is that he saw her
- 48:48Speaker 2: stop to help or stop to help, you know, and
- 48:52Speaker 2: then whenever she resisted, he must have hit her or
- 48:55Speaker 2: something like that. He did have a few look like
- 48:57Speaker 2: defensive wounds, but he said it was from the dog
- 49:00Speaker 2: or something like that. And then they think that he
- 49:03Speaker 2: went out there and then she he put that tip
- 49:06Speaker 2: tie around her neck to controller and then she died
- 49:09Speaker 2: and then he he just you know, didn't go through
- 49:13Speaker 2: with it. And so that's why it looked like her
- 49:16Speaker 2: underwear had been ripped, but she hadn't actually been sexually assaulted.
- 49:19Speaker 2: So that's the theory, the going theory. So there wouldn't
- 49:22Speaker 2: have been.
- 49:23Speaker 3: Any type of forensic material, yes.
- 49:26Speaker 2: Forensic material for that, but like if she had scratched him,
- 49:29Speaker 2: shouldn't there be something under her fingernails? Like, I don't know,
- 49:34Speaker 2: there's just a.
- 49:34Speaker 3: Lot of cuestions. I don't know what's going on outside
- 49:36Speaker 3: of Pine Bluff, Arkansas.
- 49:37Speaker 2: No, and then the apparently the police departments, well it
- 49:41Speaker 2: was in dumas dumbass dum doo, miss Arkansas. Apparently very
- 49:47Speaker 2: corrupt police department there. I'm just saying, that's just what
- 49:50Speaker 2: I read on Reddit.
- 49:54Speaker 3: Got their own little thefdom going on.
- 49:57Speaker 2: I guess that's where the name comes from. Reddit. I
- 50:00Speaker 2: read it on Reddit.
- 50:02Speaker 3: Get it. I have no idea it's called reddit. Reddit
- 50:06Speaker 3: is too hard for me to navigate.
- 50:07Speaker 2: So what Oh, I love Reddit. They there's just so many,
- 50:11Speaker 2: so much information. That's where I go. That's where people
- 50:13Speaker 2: get down and dirty with the truths. Do people start
- 50:18Speaker 2: really telling their stories. They're on Reddit anyway, so that
- 50:22Speaker 2: is our case. Did Kenny do it? We don't know.
- 50:26Speaker 3: That's what they say though, but it's twelve or six.
- 50:28Speaker 3: Does Cara care?
- 50:29Speaker 2: It's twelve ten, So I don't care anymore Kenny. Sorry anyways, No,
- 50:34Speaker 2: but it was very I felt bad for the mom
- 50:36Speaker 2: because in the episode she was really hard on herself
- 50:39Speaker 2: because she's like, I should have dropped everything and went
- 50:41Speaker 2: and picked up. So I know that's just like probably
- 50:44Speaker 2: just I can't even imagine living all of that.
- 50:45Speaker 3: She even made it there in time?
- 50:48Speaker 2: Well, no, but she so there was people like people
- 50:50Speaker 2: were questioning on the reddit board like why would she
- 50:54Speaker 2: call it five thirty and not go tell seven? Well,
- 50:55Speaker 2: it's probably because it was dark. She's not going to
- 50:57Speaker 2: take off. She's seventeen year old. Girls, she's not going
- 50:59Speaker 2: to take off. Don't care where you're at. At five
- 51:00Speaker 2: thirty in the morning, it's gonna be especially it was August,
- 51:04Speaker 2: end of August. That's summertime, so it's starting late, staying
- 51:09Speaker 2: light later. But it's dark in the morning, so I'm
- 51:12Speaker 2: sure she was waiting from five thirty in her car
- 51:15Speaker 2: and she was gonna wait till daylight. She's not gonna
- 51:16Speaker 2: go take off walking in the dark on the side
- 51:18Speaker 2: of the road, you know, to go get gas. And
- 51:21Speaker 2: so yeah, so the mom. I felt bad for the
- 51:24Speaker 2: mom because she just was really just blaming herself. But
- 51:27Speaker 2: she said, I just thought she was in this like
- 51:29Speaker 2: small little town in Arkansas. She said, there was the
- 51:33Speaker 2: gas station was right there. She was like a real
- 51:35Speaker 2: like responsible girl, she said, I've just really thought she
- 51:38Speaker 2: could take care of herself and she would be fine. Like,
- 51:41Speaker 2: who would have ever thought.
- 51:43Speaker 3: That this would happen. I think mom would even made
- 51:44Speaker 3: it there before she got abducted though, forty five minute drive. Yes,
- 51:49Speaker 3: well when did she get abducted?
- 51:51Speaker 2: But she wouldn't have got but she's she got abducted
- 51:54Speaker 2: around seven am. It was around seven o'clock because that's
- 51:59Speaker 2: when he would have been driving by now is what
- 52:04Speaker 2: they believe was around seven am. That she wouldn't yes anyway,
- 52:08Speaker 2: So all right, well that is our case for week.
- 52:10Speaker 2: Stud Please tell me you have your y'all need Jesus.
- 52:12Speaker 3: Ready, I always have you.
- 52:13Speaker 2: At twelve twelve am, okay.
- 52:17Speaker 3: Man steals bud light truck, leads deputies on chase by
- 52:24Speaker 3: Emily Jones, published March twenty seven, twenty twenty six, Florida.
- 52:29Speaker 2: Not Florida, Florida.
- 52:33Speaker 3: Evansville, Indiana. A man led officials on a chase Friday
- 52:37Speaker 3: afternoon after stealing a bud light truck. Official say forty
- 52:40Speaker 3: one year old Randall Baker stole the truck at around
- 52:43Speaker 3: three pm from a liquor store on North Governor Street,
- 52:47Speaker 3: and he was heading westbound on Diamond Avenue near Resurrection
- 52:51Speaker 3: and drive. You know where that is, Karl, No, I don't,
- 52:54Speaker 3: they say.
- 52:54Speaker 2: I'm just shocked that this crime is happening at three pm.
- 52:57Speaker 2: That is still a responsible hour to be that normal
- 53:00Speaker 2: people are out and about like this is nonsense that
- 53:03Speaker 2: happens at midnight.
- 53:04Speaker 3: Well, you're not delivering beer to liquor stores at midnight, though,
- 53:07Speaker 3: so you could be. If you're going to steal a
- 53:09Speaker 3: look a bud light truck, you gotta do it during
- 53:13Speaker 3: working hours. They say. Baker refused to pull over and
- 53:17Speaker 3: led police on a chase into Posey County. The pursuit
- 53:20Speaker 3: continued west towards wad Wade Wadesville, and then went northbound
- 53:26Speaker 3: on State Road one sixty five Carol toward Poseyville. In
- 53:30Speaker 3: Posey County.
- 53:31Speaker 2: I said, oh, Posey, Posey's.
- 53:35Speaker 3: At SR one sixty five in high school. Road deputies
- 53:38Speaker 3: used stop sticks to try and stop, like.
- 53:40Speaker 2: You're given us the road names, like we don't care.
- 53:42Speaker 3: Well, that's what's in the story. The people from that
- 53:45Speaker 3: area might care. They'd be like, oh, yeah, that's just
- 53:48Speaker 3: down yonder.
- 53:50Speaker 2: The people from Poseyville, Indiana right now.
- 53:54Speaker 3: Okay, they got country folk up there too. But they
- 53:57Speaker 3: say that's when Baker hit a sheriff Patrovia and then
- 54:00Speaker 3: crashed into a field. According to the presslar release, Baker
- 54:03Speaker 3: also refused to get out of the truck and deputies
- 54:06Speaker 3: had to use pepper ball rounds to get him out.
- 54:11Speaker 3: That's the good stuff. It's where they shoot them them
- 54:13Speaker 3: rounds at you. That burst with the pepper spray and
- 54:17Speaker 3: Baker was taken to the hospital for minor injuries from
- 54:20Speaker 3: the crash. Authority say his blood alcohol content was point
- 54:24Speaker 3: one zero three, which is over the legal limit. The
- 54:27Speaker 3: deputy whose car was hit was not hurt. Baker is
- 54:30Speaker 3: facing attempted murder, auto theft, criminal reckness, recklessness with a
- 54:36Speaker 3: deadly weapon, resisting law enforcement, reckless operation of a tractor trailer,
- 54:41Speaker 3: and driving while in talking.
- 54:43Speaker 2: One zero three. I feel like that's like, that's not
- 54:46Speaker 2: drunk enough to do those types of shenanigans.
- 54:50Speaker 3: Is the legal limbit?
- 54:51Speaker 2: You're only at point one.
- 54:52Speaker 3: Maybe he can't handle his liquor.
- 54:54Speaker 2: You think he drank some of the bud light in
- 54:56Speaker 2: the vehicle.
- 54:57Speaker 3: You think.
- 55:01Speaker 2: It might have just been a bit of point seven.
- 55:03Speaker 2: Whenever he started, he could have been completely so like
- 55:06Speaker 2: basically sober when he started.
- 55:08Speaker 3: Just drank too fast and then just anyways, there's a
- 55:14Speaker 3: guy that belongs in dumbass Arkansas.
- 55:16Speaker 2: Yes, all right, well that is our case for this week.
- 55:21Speaker 2: It is now twelve fifteen, so.
- 55:24Speaker 3: Your episode really late now.
- 55:27Speaker 2: Yes, it's very late. It was supposed to go out
- 55:30Speaker 2: on Wednesday on Patreon, on Thursday, everywhere else. You know
- 55:33Speaker 2: the drill. We're late. I'm sorry, I'll apologize. I'll do
- 55:36Speaker 2: it again.
- 55:38Speaker 3: You'll fail us again.
- 55:39Speaker 2: I'll fall again. I'll apologize. Someone will get mad at me.
- 55:42Speaker 2: It's fine?
- 55:44Speaker 3: Is it fine? Or well? It hurts your feelings.
- 55:48Speaker 2: It annoys me because I'm like, I'm trying, people trying.
- 55:52Speaker 2: It's very difficult to coordinate. We literally have no help
- 55:55Speaker 2: with these children. We are a one two person show.
- 55:59Speaker 3: At this point, would you like me to get in
- 56:01Speaker 3: an ol pair.
- 56:03Speaker 2: I'm at this point. I'm like, fucking sign me up.
- 56:05Speaker 2: I'll just deal with the fallout of our marriage falling
- 56:08Speaker 2: apart when you ultimately have an affair with the old
- 56:11Speaker 2: pair and try to murder me.
- 56:14Speaker 3: It's fine if you're gonna pick the old pair and
- 56:17Speaker 3: it's gonna be a dude, and I'm gonna be the
- 56:19Speaker 3: one that gets murdered.
- 56:22Speaker 2: No, I don't. That seems like a lot of work.
- 56:25Speaker 2: What having an affair, planning your demise, It just seems
- 56:30Speaker 2: like a lot. And then I'll probably go to prison. Yeah,
- 56:35Speaker 2: and then we have nobody to watch these children. You'll
- 56:38Speaker 2: be dead. I'll be in prison.
- 56:40Speaker 3: You don't think I can get out of it?
- 56:42Speaker 2: No, anyways, all right, I would never get.
- 56:47Speaker 3: Caught though, Oh I would finger you.
- 56:52Speaker 2: All Right, I gotta go. This is a ridiculous. It's
- 56:54Speaker 2: now twelve sixteen. All right, we will see you next time.
- 56:59Speaker 2: By everyone, say bye bye.
- 57:02Speaker 3: Don't you know it's bad to be superstitious? By nothing else.
- 57:11Speaker 3: It's working and my hand is.
- 57:14Speaker 2: Really hurting, and I'm sick of this worry.
- 57:20Speaker 3: By my cana
