- 1:00Monday.
- 1:01All righty.
- 1:02So we're going to go right to it with Liberty and Justice for All, as Malcolm says, we're welcoming back Joel Skalson and Joel Skelson.
- 1:08Welcome back to the National Security Hour.
- 1:10And we wanted to have you on.
- 1:11We haven't had you on in a while.
- 1:13Again, if you don't know who he is, I don't know where you've been, but he has the World Affairs Brief.
- 1:18And his uncle Cleance Gaussian wrote the book, The Naked Communists.
- 1:23So Joel, why don't you open it up for us?
- 1:25Welcome back.
- 1:26You know where we are.
- 1:27We haven't spoken since this uh this war against Iran is going on, so why don't you start us off?
- 1:33Thank you.
- 1:35Well, thank you.
- 1:35It's good to be with you guys.
- 1:37Um the big news, of course, is uh Trump's uh message, 20-minute uh message.
- 1:44We uh he requested all the national networks give him time for special broadcast to the nation, and most were hoping he would announce that some deal had been made with Iran to end the war.
- 1:54Not only was there no peace deal, but not even a specific news or any specific news that would give us any hope that Trump was going to end the war in two or three weeks, as he claimed this week.
- 2:04Trump bragged that the U.S.
- 2:05is quote winning bigger than ever, the entire speech.
- 2:09In my opinion, was yet another litany of boastful statements on how much of Iran's military had been destroyed and how Trump has killed most of its leaders.
- 2:18He even manufactured a claim that all the gold star families of the 13 U.S.
- 2:23military dead had pleaded with him to quote finish the job, leading to my suspicion that this speech was primarily an attempt to confront the growing public dissatisfaction with the war.
- 2:35And he also lashed out at our European allies and NATO for not joining in this questionable war, which has caused so much damage to Europe's economy.
- 2:44Trump should be reminded that Europe is suffering more than this in this war than the U.S.
- 2:50as much of their supplies of oil and fertilizer had been blocked with the closure of the Strait of Hormos or Moose.
- 2:58So, you know, the the motives for the war keep changing.
- 3:01Um at first, you know, it was to stop Iran from uh getting a nuclear weapon, then it was we're going to stop uh all their ballistic missile production.
- 3:10Um then we're gonna have you know stop it from closing the Strait of Hormuz.
- 3:16And of course, the reason that they closed the Strait of Hormuz is that uh after destroying a good deal of their infrastructure, military infrastructure in particular, that's the only really big card that Iran had left to play was make the world pay for the global shutdown of the oil economy by closing the Strait of Hormuz.
- 3:38And it's uh been very difficult for Trump to try to open that strait or claim that he's gonna do so.
- 3:45Anyway, that's my introduction to this war.
- 3:47It's uh it's an unconstitutional war.
- 3:49It was uh it's clearly a fully uh declared war on a country, but it hasn't been declared by Congress, and that's illegal according to the Constitution.
- 3:59Um so this is a real problem.
- 4:02Trump's uh approval rating, and the nation has gone down 17 points because of this war, and a lot of the MAGA crowd uh feels strongly and rightly so that Trump has betrayed his major promises never to get us into never-ending wars again, which weren't in the interest of the United States.
- 4:23Instead, this was done on the behest and the of Israel, Netanyahu promising Trump quite uh deceptively that this was going to be an easy one-week war.
- 4:36And Trump's advisors are very displeased that Trump bought into it.
- 4:40Dr.
- 4:41Mike, I'll let you go first, sir.
- 4:43Joel, do you have any idea what his own advisors were telling him?
- 4:47Well, actually, a lot of uh rumors in the White House say that Stephen Miller is really running the show.
- 4:53He's of course very, very pro-Israel in all of his things.
- 4:58Um I think there's some truth to that, but I'll tell you, most of the so-called advisors, uh, like uh Secretary of War um Higgseth and Marco Rubio are really lightweights in foreign policy.
- 5:12Uh, these people really are more loyalist to Trump than giving them any uh information.
- 5:18In fact, Tulsi Gabber, the director of national intelligence, basically said or capitulated and said, you know, she had been very critical of Trump uh in his wars uh before she became, and then when she was put on the spot in Congress about uh whether or not you've expressed your personal opinions about being against this border, Donald Trump, and she says, Well, I buried my personal opinions when I took the job.
- 5:43In other words, I'm just a yes man to the president.
- 5:46And he says there's an imminent threat for Iran, and so that's exclusively the determination of the US president to determine it.
- 5:54That is simply not true.
- 5:56It's not the exclusive determination of the president.
- 6:00He should rely on professionals to indicate whether or not there's an imminent threat to the United States uh with war.
- 6:08You know, Iran doesn't even have missiles that can reach the United States.
- 6:11We keep being told that there are sleeper cells within the United States, we will have no major or significant attacks from any sleeper cells to justify that assessment.
- 6:22Joe, let me ask a question.
- 6:24Uh are you surprised at what's going on with happen with within Iran striking back the way they did.
- 6:32It's kind of surprising, right?
- 6:34I don't think these guys had proper intel, whether it was from the Mossad or the CIA.
- 6:38What's your opinion?
- 6:41Well, they did have very, very good intel.
- 6:44I mean, Iran has lost all of their military production facilities.
- 6:47They can no longer build drones, they can't build uh missiles, they can't do any of that because all those facilities have been destroyed, and most of their nuclear uh facilities as well.
- 7:00Still, the knowledge base is still there, even though they've taken out top uh Iranian professors at the university level, they've already relayed all of their nuclear knowledge to lower people within the nuclear industry who are still alive.
- 7:16So you haven't really destroyed, as even Iran has said, uh, the ability of uh Iran to reproduce these systems later on, once the war is over.
- 7:27And uh is U.S.
- 7:29and military intelligence was very precise.
- 7:31They've hit almost every thing they could possibly find, including tunnel entrances to many of these huge stockpiles, but Iran has dug out of those tunnels, and they have many other tunnels leading off auxiliary tunnels leading away from the main storage tunnels to launch sites out in the middle of the desert that don't even show up as a silo because they're covered with sand until the missile emerges from them.
- 7:56And so they've been able to continue to shoot missiles, mostly targeting the U.S.
- 8:02allies in the area in Bahrain, uh, UA United Arab Immigrants and um and Qatar uh and Saudi Arabia, of course, and destroying U.S.
- 8:13aircraft there.
- 8:14They've destroyed uh uh AWACS aircraft at the Saudi base and uh even hit Diego Garcia a couple of times.
- 8:22And so Iran has um substantial missile forces that we don't know whether or not they still exist or not.
- 8:33And that's the the big question for the Trump administration is uh can Iran outlast us?
- 8:39Because we're running out of interceptor missiles against these things.
- 8:43That's why a lot of the missiles from Iran are reaching their targets in Iran and around Qatar and others where we have U.S.
- 8:50military bases who have and Kuwait that have run out of patriot missiles and that could no longer intercept these things.
- 8:57And then go ahead.
- 9:00I'm sorry, sir.
- 9:01Go ahead.
- 9:02Iran also has some new weapons like the 23 uh 5 missile, which is a rocket-boosted missile that goes up and then turns on a jet engine and loiters for up to 20 or 30 minutes, waiting to see an aircraft.
- 9:17One of those missiles recently uh uh damaged an F-35.
- 9:21You know, it's stealth aircraft, but once one of these missiles with his sophisticated optical sights picks up an aircraft flying in the vicinity within 20 miles, they can go in and and hit it.
- 9:34So an F-35 was hit in the tail feathers.
- 9:37It was not destroyed, it did land.
- 9:40But this is a new technology that is very, very dangerous to American aircraft.
- 9:46You know, the one thing of the phone side, Mike, go ahead.
- 9:49Okay, and the point of uh intelligence failure.
- 9:52I think what we have is a uh the infield.
- 10:00Failure has come not so much from the guys and the women who are doing the work every day, but from the fact that they've gotten no education in terms of an empire, uh the Persian Empire that was that's 2,000 years old.
- 10:15I haven't heard a single American speak yet, as if he had any cognizance of how the Iranians think.
- 10:22And or even able to use a comparison for the Iran-Iraq war or something like that to draw one from there.
- 10:29It just seems this is another instance where the decrepit counterproductive American educational system is part of the reason we're not making much headway.
- 10:42We don't understand the enemy.
- 10:45Well, that you make a very good point.
- 10:47The only one that I would say that does understand this is John Meersheimer, political science department of Chicago University, who has made some very interesting interviews.
- 10:56Now, he's taking the point of view, which you know cannot be proven, but he he feels that Iran is winning the war because they can outlast the U.S.
- 11:06In other words, they can continue to shoot missiles and degrade all of the allies and damage their economies, including their oil infrastructure longer than the U.S.
- 11:17can stand to shoot down those uh drones and missiles with their multimillion dollar interceptors, which we have nearly run out of.
- 11:26And uh, you know, China is clearly taking note of this.
- 11:30We have limited supplies of these sophisticated weapons, defensive weapons, and that they can easily overwhelm them.
- 11:37You know, China's preparing, for example, to hit the U.S.
- 11:40aircraft carriers if they challenge their invasion of Taiwan with over a salvo of a thousand anti-ship missiles.
- 11:48Now, no aircraft carrier is going to be able to shoot down even a small portion of that many anti-ship missiles if they do this.
- 11:56Iran has not used that.
- 11:57I think a lot of their missiles have been degraded because of the uh attacks on things.
- 12:05But I, you know, nobody knows how many they still have left.
- 12:09And so that's the issue that uh, you know, Mirscheimer was bringing up is that if they can outlast the U.S.
- 12:15Um, you know, Donald Trump is going to have trouble, and he is having trouble making uh getting them to make a deal.
- 12:22And I talked a lot in last week's World Affairs Brief about how one-sided his 15-point plan for negotiation, basically wanting everything, including the oil, the uh say, and who is the next leader of Iran.
- 12:36I mean, you're absolutely right, uh, Mike, that uh there's no way that you understand the Persian culture going back uh, you know, two, three thousand years if you think that you're going to get them to submit to complete Western domination.
- 12:51Um, it's it's just it's a farcical, it's almost like a comical cake.
- 12:56Here's the leader of the supposedly the strongest power on earth.
- 13:01And uh he speaks as if these people were just um, you know, just Johnny come lately to the international political scene.
- 13:11I think he looks at them like they're Haiti, Mike, to be honest with you.
- 13:15Yeah.
- 13:16It could well be, Colonel.
- 13:18But it's it's it's just a shame when you don't have people who can tell you what they're doing.
- 13:23Well, why would they want why would they want to vent anything?
- 13:26To Joel and to you, Mike.
- 13:28I mean, they were in a in a negotiation, some kind of a negotiation with the Omani there, and and we attack them.
- 13:36And I think, you know, for uh credibility, whatever you want to call it.
- 13:40It was so badly damaged that they now they just one-upped us and said, No, no, no, we're not dealing with you.
- 13:46We know you we we can't trust you.
- 13:47You don't have any integrity.
- 13:49Joel, and I mean, that's obvious, isn't it?
- 13:52I mean, you have an Omani trying to do a deal, and then we attack them.
- 13:55Come on, that's ridiculous.
- 13:57Yes, that's the reason that uh, and I've got a quotation in in this upcoming World Affairs Brief uh about that.
- 14:06And um, let's see.
- 14:08It comes from Al Jazeera, Iran's foreign minister Abbas Origachi said in an interview with Al Jazeer that messages have been exchanged with the U.S.
- 14:18during the U.S.
- 14:19Israeli war with Iran, but stressed this does not amount to negotiations, adding that Iran has never had a good experience negotiating with Washington.
- 14:28Meanwhile, human rights groups and Palestinian leaders have condemned Israel's approval of the law, allowing the death penalty for Palestinians convicted of deadly attacks.
- 14:38But uh, what they're basically saying is that um we don't trust the U.S.
- 14:43You attacked us during negotiations.
- 14:45That's uh you know, proof that we can't trust you.
- 14:49You'll be negotiating with us and attempting to stab us in the back.
- 14:53Uh I wouldn't trust and I wouldn't trust them as as anybody around the globe looks at us.
- 15:00You have to say, you know, what kind of a country is this?
- 15:02Where's the integrity?
- 15:03Guys, we're coming down to the last two minutes plus.
- 15:07But Joel, I I am very upset about that.
- 15:10I mean, I'm not a pro-Iranian guy, but I believe that we should have been on the table.
- 15:16And I think also now they are to the point of even pointing out we don't want to hear from Kushner or Whitkoff.
- 15:24We don't want to see them anywhere around here.
- 15:26I mean, if you're going to send anybody in, it better be somebody else.
- 15:29Well, that's right.
- 15:30And that's why any negotiation now is with uh Rubio and who's the other guy.
- 15:37Um, in any case, you know, those are lightweights too.
- 15:41You know, these are not real professional negotiators who know how to be, you know, diplomatic.
- 15:46Trump's himself, the Iranians have said you've insulted us for so long, you know, that we simply don't have any respect uh for what you say.
- 15:56I think the world stages looking at it.
- 15:59You know, this diplomacy fought or spoken of in social media on a daily basis, is just it's you know, it's not the level of what we were used to years ago, you know, having people like James Baker or somebody, you know.
- 16:15And uh, at least the Russians still have Lavrov, and he's one of my favorites.
- 16:19He's a stalwart, you know.
- 16:21He's the old school Soviet straight faced, smoke a cigarette, have a drink.
- 16:26Let's get in the room and talk about it, you know.
- 16:31Well, that's right, but he still is a Soviet, so you've got to.
- 16:34I see this.
- 16:36I said he's the old school Soviet, you know.
- 16:39All right, let's take the break now.
- 16:40We'll go right back.
- 16:41Guys, we got to go to the break.
- 16:43You know what that means.

- 20:10Well, Joel Skalson and Dr.
- 20:12Mike.
- 20:12Remember 8 p.m.
- 20:13Monday, 8 p.m.
- 20:14every Monday, the National Security Hour with Dr.
- 20:16Mike and Joel Skelson.
- 20:18Mike, let you open up this section and uh start of the force.
- 20:22Yeah, I I think you were as we watch this thing unfold.
- 20:27It's still I've said it a couple times, and I don't know if I said it to you, Joel, but I think sometimes we're stuck in the in what I would call the cult of World War II.
- 20:37Uh send the carrier test groups, send the Marines.
- 20:42And it's it's there doesn't seem to be much knowledge about what those ships or those Marines are going to face when they get there.
- 20:54It almost seems like if we can get uh flotillas like we had against Japan and Marines like we had against Japan, uh we're gonna win.
- 21:04And we don't know the enemy.
- 21:08You know, at least we had quite a few people in the government in in 1940 that had served in Japan or with Japanese people, or even had gone to Harvard with them.
- 21:20It's uh it's entirely different now.
- 21:24And then I just don't think we're we're a modern power, they say, but our our mind work in terms of military affairs very often seems strikes me as very World War II is well, that's even being generous, uh, Mike.
- 21:40Uh in my opinion, there's no way you're gonna do a land invasion of Iran with their million man arms, uh, armed forces, you know, with uh uh 3,000 uh 82nd airborne or 5,000 marines, it's just token.
- 21:58Um what he what Trump is planning on doing is doing a couple of strikes, occupations of islands like Carg Island, etc.
- 22:07to try to deny uh or to open the Strait of Hormuz, but there's no way he's gonna do an invasion.
- 22:13In fact, the Russians have even agreed to let the Chechen armies come in and fight for Iran, and they saw that.
- 22:22I saw that.
- 22:24Well, these guys are really hardened fighters.
- 22:26They're tough.
- 22:27These are no pushover.
- 22:29Now, you notice we haven't heard anything, anything about the Kurds that were supposedly going to invade on our behalf out of Northern Syria.
- 22:39Uh what happened to that?
- 22:41They haven't even confronted the Iranian military yet.
- 22:45So this is a major uh proposition.
- 22:48You're going to have to, you know, I my prediction is we're not going to outlast Iran's ability to shoot missiles.
- 22:55All right.
- 22:56We're going to run out of munitions or at least interceptor munitions first.
- 23:00That means Trump is going to have to uh declare victory or pulling out and saying we've done our duty, we've done our job, etc.
- 23:08We've destroyed their nuclear thing, we've destroyed their missile uh capability, and and they have it.
- 23:14But I don't think you're going to be able to conquer Iran unless you go in and occupy.
- 23:19And the Iranians simply are not going to tolerate for someone like Donald Trump running their country.
- 23:24The Venezuelans gave in even because Donald Trump, in fact, did not occupy, and they've they're kind of playing Trump along as if they are letting him run the country as long as he throws in money and materiel to help their oil industry, but they're planning on rebelling against that at some point when China and Russia make their move against the United States.
- 23:46So we haven't really won in Venezuela.
- 23:49Um but I want to make one uh run point about the administration's continuing harp on the initial object objective in going after Iran that we will stop them from having a nuclear weapon.
- 24:03Let us never forget the supreme hypocrisy of going to war with Iran over the issue that it might someday have a nuclear weapon.
- 24:13When Trump completely allowed North Korea, a true existential enemy allied with Red China to further develop both their nuclear weapons and their long-range ballistic missiles aimed at the United States.
- 24:27Not only did Trump not threaten to go to war with North Korea, as he claimed he was going to defang them either diplomatically or militarily, but he failed.
- 24:36He became so enamored with the flattery of Kim Yong-un that he esteems him as quote, his good friend to this very day, and exchanges letters with his new pen pal.
- 24:47Why is it that I'm the only commentator in the world to bring up this brazen hypocrisy and contradiction?
- 24:55This should be obvious to any TV talking head or secretary of war that parrots the notion that Iran must never have a nuclear weapon.
- 25:04I mean, you've let North Korea have nuclear weapons and ballisticness.
- 25:08I mean you don't know.
- 25:08Very good point, Joel.
- 25:10That's a very good point.
- 25:11Absolutely.
- 25:12100%.
- 25:15In further oblivion to reality, Trump went so far as to say our enemies are losing.
- 25:20And America has been for five years under my presidency, is winning and now winning bigger than ever.
- 25:26Well, America's real enemies, that is China, Russia, and North Korea losing.
- 25:30Apparently, he doesn't see any of these as real enemies.
- 25:34Otherwise, he wouldn't have lifted all sanctions on Russian oil sales to other countries.
- 25:39Now giving them 110 per barrel to boost their war effort in Ukraine, nor Iranian oil on its way to China.
- 25:48Perhaps perhaps Trump thinks this will ingratiate him to Xi Jinping when they meet in April.
- 25:56You know what's amazing?
- 25:57He gave India a pass to buy the oil from Russia.
- 26:02They were paying on the black market 28, now they're paying what, 82, 85.
- 26:07So it cost more.
- 26:08But remember last year, India flipped oil, meaning titled paperwork, right?
- 26:14Yeah.
- 26:15And made 18 billion dollars in flipping oil, whether it was Kazakhstan title or Russian whatever.
- 26:22You know, and then get to Europe.
- 26:24Yeah.
- 26:24Yeah, exactly.
- 26:25And then why can't we buy Russian oil?
- 26:28Why can't we have Iranian oil?
- 26:30But he's letting everybody get a pass.
- 26:31So we have to pay at the pump because winning to Donald Trump is a dollar and 10 cents more per gallon on the East Coast of just uh, what is it?
- 26:4290, what is it, 96 per 96%, I guess, with the 10% X uh uh X ethanol?
- 26:50So I don't think a dollar 10 cents more since he became the president is winning.
- 26:55I mean, that's just common sense.
- 26:58Well, actually, there's no reason for the U.S., which we don't import foreign oil to be raising the prices.
- 27:05But you see, oil producers are greedy people, and they're gonna charge the international rate of oil even though we don't import international oil.
- 27:15They're charging refiners 100 plus dollars a barrel for the oil that we pump out of the ground in the U.S., even though they don't have to.
- 27:23Now you say these people have no morals, and they don't.
- 27:26I mean, they're not supporting uh any effort at all to keep the United States war.
- 27:31And that's why, for example, the diesel is so much more expensive in the U.S.
- 27:35than it is when it used to be.
- 27:37Remember, you guys are old enough to remember when diesel was always cheaper than gas.
- 27:41That's right.
- 27:42That's right.
- 27:42And a lot of people went to diesel because of that, and now it's more expensive.
- 27:46And why?
- 27:47Because we are exporting most of our diesel that we produce, not only to Europe, who uses mostly diesel instead of gasoline for cars, but also Latin America.
- 27:57We're subsidizing their price of uh of oil by shipping our refined diesel products, and that's why ours are more expensive here.
- 28:06So this is not an America-first regime by any means.
- 28:09It's it's a pro- Oh, thank you very much, Mr.
- 28:11Skelson.
- 28:12Thank you for reminding us because we feel the same way.
- 28:15I don't feel anything America first.
- 28:17If anything, it's MIGA, you know, make Israel great again.
- 28:22That's that's the way I look at it now.
- 28:24And I don't want to say, and I don't want to, I don't want anybody to think I'm anti-Semitic.
- 28:28I'm just saying it like it is, and I think a majority of the country is on that side.
- 28:32Well, let's go right now to Joel Kent.
- 28:35Uh Mr.
- 28:36Skelson, Joel Kent came out against this, and uh he's been on every almost every talk.
- 28:43He's even been on the uh show with us, and he's been on one of our colleagues of the National Security Hour.
- 28:49What's your take on Joe Kent?
- 28:53Well, Joe Kent actually was critical of uh I mean, I'm sorry, he was he went along with Donald Trump and his threats against Iran and the nuclear things in order to get his position, which he did in the administration.
- 29:07Then he became a loyalist.
- 29:10And uh uh for a long while, and now he decided, you know, I'm finally gonna have to break with this because there is no imminent threat from Iran, and he's right, there was no.
- 29:21But, you know, he he lost a little bit of credibility by me by going along with Donald Trump uh in the beginning and uh and pandering to the president.
- 29:30And I I can't really complain because almost everybody in that administration has to do that, or they lose their job.
- 29:36I mean, this is a total yes man ship administration.
- 29:40Um it was interesting that John Meersheimer, I watched an interview, he he had, and he said, you know, the only people who are right in this turn out to be the deep state.
- 29:56You know, had the adult wasn't uh
- 30:00Threat to Israel, but Israel has been so aggressive as so aggressive in expanding their borders or trying to expand their borders to the greater Israel, which includes uh Iran.
- 30:12You know, Netanyahu even admitted, I guess it was Mir Scheimer who said, you know, no, it was uh Jeffrey Sox is who said, uh, you know, I have been telling everybody for 30 years, Benjamin Nietzsche has been wanting to take over Iran and destroy it.
- 30:29And he said, but I was wrong.
- 30:31Netanyahu came out yesterday and he said, I dreamed 40 years ago of taking Iran out, and now I'm getting my wish, thanks to the United States of America.
- 30:42And he Well, you know, that that gentleman that was talking to Maria Botarromo, uh, one of the uh princes there, royal family members of the Khalifa family in Qatar said the same thing.
- 30:55He says, But Maria, have you ever seen Netanyahu with his map of the Greater Israel?
- 31:01He says, Come on now, take a look at that.
- 31:05Yeah, you see, uh, Israel has a real, you know, they're not satisfied with just Israel have a right to exist.
- 31:13They don't satisfied with Israel alone.
- 31:16They want all the Palestinian land and they want a lot of the Arab nations around them.
- 31:20They're gonna take now the southern uh third of Lebanon up to the Latani River.
- 31:26They made that an open declaration.
- 31:27We're never gonna leave it anymore.
- 31:29That means 600,000 people who have been evacuated from the area are never going to be allowed to come back to their homes.
- 31:37Well, Mike, what do you say to that?
- 31:39Uh it's it's not surprising.
- 31:41And I just wanted to add to Joe's point, which was exactly right, is how they control us.
- 31:47But look at what they're they're their surrogates and their billionaires in this country are doing, trying to put people in jail or knock them off the air if they say something critical of the Israelis.
- 32:00And no one comes out in the Congress and says that's not right.
- 32:03They just go along with it.
- 32:06Um we're so controlled by a puny, irrelevant country.
- 32:13And that whole argument about having a right to exist, you know, no country has a right to exist.
- 32:19It has a right to exist if it can defend itself, if it has a workable economy, and if it has a population that's you know, generally amiable to each other.
- 32:29And if it doesn't aggress on the fundamental rights of its neighbors, right.
- 32:34In other words, it's not an unconditional right to exist when we are aggressing against the fundamental rights of our neighbors.
- 32:41That's exactly you lose the right to exist when you are an aggressor.
- 32:45And that's why, you know, Germany, when they were defeated, lost their right to exist.
- 32:50They were invaded and taken over by the West.
- 32:53And fortunately, it came out uh well for them and for Japan.
- 32:57I mean, some better things happen, but uh that's not going to happen in the future.
- 33:02I mean, we're going to see tremendous dislocation in World War III when Russia and China finally unleashed their military might against the United States military and decapitate us.
- 33:14Now, I don't think they're going to win this war, but I don't think that we're going to come out of World War III like we did in World War II.
- 33:21Uh I see complete internacene warfare of evil fighting against evil, and you won't even know who the good guys and the bad guys are after World War II.
- 33:31I mean, after World War III, without electricity and without world trade again, it's just going to be a nightmare of existence.
- 33:43Well, it's it's hard to understand for me to understand uh how an adult can behave like Trump does.
- 33:53Uh it is uh he he's supposedly a well-educated man, a rich man, and yet he doesn't seem to have a light touch in regard to anything.
- 34:06And uh, you know, I used to have a professor that said, you know, uh insincerity costs you nothing.
- 34:15And if if you and I guess that's the that's one of the keys to being a good diplomat is always being the gentleman, even in in with people you you disagree with, but we don't seem to have anybody like that.
- 34:28Mike, Marco Rubio's any not anything close to being a secretary of state.
- 34:32You know, he's just put in there and he's a placemat until they can until they can get him to, you know, 2000, whatever year it is that Trump's out of there if Trump lasts that long, you know.
- 34:44Joel, do you see any mental uh issues with Trump as he speaks or as he moves?
- 34:52Do you see anything that would say he may be having early dementia?
- 34:58Well, I see a chronic lack of self-control is what I see.
- 35:03Yes.
- 35:03Um, you know, Donald Trump does have some health problems.
- 35:06He's got some swollen ankles, he's got some bruising on his skin, which's not coming from shaking hands with people, as he claims.
- 35:14Uh he does have some cell health problems.
- 35:16He is just a junk food addict, cannot stop eating junk food, and uh he's deteriorating, but he has a mental lack of self-control that when you match that with an insurmountable ego that he has, the uh the arrogance of the man, you know, he talks about when's I can't wait till Venezuela puts up a statue of me.
- 35:42He's talking about uh, you know, name you know, naming the Kennedy Center the Trump Center.
- 35:48And in fact, he in Melania went to the Trump Center for a recent concept, he got booed by a good portion uh of the audience and things.
- 35:56But the man's ego simply knows no bounds.
- 35:59He's continually bragging about our great military.
- 36:02But I'll tell you, conservatives, including myself, are going to rue the day when World War III happens and our hundreds of thousands of military are killed on military bases and in missile silos at the first strike of Russia and China against us.
- 36:18And will they remember that Donald Trump failed to protect them?
- 36:21Will they remember that Donald Trump lavished praise on Putin and Xi Jinping and Kim Yang-un, the ones who are real existential enemies?
- 36:29I doubt that they will.
- 36:31They'll simply view these people as the tyrants that they are, and they are tyrants, they are an evil empire against our own evil empire, but I'm afraid there are no good people left in the world as leaders to uh you know, give us uh, you know, the true direction.
- 36:47And I speak as a there's no there's no more time on this uh segment.
- 36:53We're gonna go right to the break and come back for the final segment with Joel Skalson and Dr.

- 38:42Okay, we're back for the final segment with Jill Scalsen and Dr.
- 38:46Mike and Colonel Mike on the national security hour.
- 38:48I want to open it up real quick with Joel.
- 38:50He said at the end there, he was talking about when our military gets hit by Russia and China in World War III.
- 38:58Joel, remember we had that uh around the world in 80 days balloon, fly over America, and it was a Chinese spy balloon.
- 39:06But you know, they took it for like a nonchalant.
- 39:08The military didn't react, they didn't shoot it down, you know, they were flying over military bases, and now we discover that a lot of the people with and around the military bases are finding that the Chinese are buying land and you know, front groups and whatever, you know, real estate groups, shell companies.
- 39:26What do you want to say to the American people on the national security hour?
- 39:30How serious this is to our national security?
- 39:34Well, and as a matter of principle, no country that is declared an existential enemy of this country should be allowed to buy land or corporations or anything in this.
- 39:43You really ought to be a citizen to have to own property within the nation.
- 39:47But what's really happening is, you know, they build this, you know, this farmland.
- 39:52So what can they do with farmland?
- 39:54Well, it's the agricultural, large agricultural buildings that they put on that farm.
- 40:00Land that could house swarms of drones.
- 40:03And there's uh, you know, highly suspicion among our military that those drones will do swarm attacks on our military.
- 40:10You know, our military aircraft at military bases have no are generally not parked out in hangars, but out in open aprons on the tarmac.
- 40:20And they're very, very susceptible to drones like those AWACs, very expensive aircraft were in Saudi Arabia that were hit by uh Iranian drones.
- 40:30So I am very worried about uh Chinese purchasing of lands that absolutely not ought not to be allowed.
- 40:36In fact, if I were president, uh I would have cut off trade with uh Red China, probably within a year, let them wind down because the Americans are 80% dependent on consumer products from China.
- 40:48But we've really got to stop the flow of Western funds to China, which is building up their military um bases and uh and their equipment, which are mammoth.
- 41:01I mean, the amount of uh military equipment being built in China just dwarfs American industry, and they have overtaken us in our Navy and they're quickly overtaking us in uh air power as well.
- 41:14They continue to steal a lot of technology from the United States, and a lot of it comes through Israel.
- 41:19I'm one of the few journalists that have documented how the U.S.
- 41:22permitted Israel to share U.S.
- 41:26military technology with China that we gave to Israel.
- 41:30And uh this is one of the ways in which the deep state, which has always been building these existential enemies, they need World War III to drive us into a uh militarized global government.
- 41:40And they've been building these enemies through Israel.
- 41:43Israel has been sharing U.S.
- 41:45military technology with the would you would you say, Joel, that that is an ally?
- 41:52I mean, think about that for a second.
- 41:54Well, they're an ally of the deep state.
- 41:56They're allies of the of the globalist conspiracy against American sovereignty.
- 42:02And uh, you know, in general, uh the the real problem with the Holocaust, even though it was somewhat exaggerated.
- 42:10I mean, the Nazis really did go out and kill Jews and persecute Jews and things, but the numbers were somewhat exaggerated.
- 42:17The big problem was that it created this image or this uh safe haven around Jews that you could never criticize, uh even though many Jews were involved in the globalist conspiracy, like Henry Kissinger.
- 42:32Um, you know, who did great damage to the American, you know, giving uh away Taiwan's seat on the UN to China and giving China a seat on the Security Council with veto power right after the Vietnam War, where they had supplied Vietnam with all the weapons that killed American soldiers.
- 42:51I mean, you talk about treason.
- 42:53Kissinger ought to be hung in effigy, you know, for what he did to the United States as part of the globalist conspiracy.
- 43:01But you see, you cannot criticize Jews because of the Holocaust.
- 43:06It has become a protected class.
- 43:08And uh, you know, and that's why in my work, you know, I criticize the globalists because that includes the Jews that are participating in that, like the Kissinger's and the George Soros and others that are betraying uh international sovereignty.
- 43:24Uh but you get crucified today if you criticize uh Israel or Jews, as you know.
- 43:31Yes, really serious problem, right?
- 43:32Go ahead, Mike.
- 43:33Yeah, Joel, I wanted to ask you if you thought that let me prepare this by saying that.
- 43:40I I've been surprised by the number of officers, serving officers and retired officers and uh once once in a while enlisted people uh speaking out against the president and his orders.
- 43:54And uh I the only thing I can think of is that that the uh the whole DEI thing has been more effective within the military than I would have thought after four or five years it would have been.
- 44:09And I and I also see that you know, so many of the generals that are outspoken against Trump are also ones who were sent off training.
- 44:24And I and I just wondered what you thought.
- 44:26Is that my imagination or is there a lot of people?
- 44:28No, no, it's absolutely correct.
- 44:30You have to remember that with the globalist and deep state control of our government, including during the administration of Donald Trump, though they're they're kind of laying low, taking notes and watching what's going on.
- 44:44But prior to Donald Trump, they controlled and they still do control, by the way, the entire National War College system.
- 44:51All of the people who are headed for general officers, whether admirals or generals in the Marine Corps, Army, et cetera, go through the National War College curriculum, and they're all taught by globalists, mostly from George Washington, not George Washington.
- 45:09The other university and um in in the DC area.
- 45:12Uh Georgetown.
- 45:14Georgetown.
- 45:14George, yeah.
- 45:15Georgetown is full of globalist professors, and those are the ones chosen to teach almost all of the military officers go through the war.
- 45:24Very few of them come away unaffected by them.
- 45:28Uh part of this is because the yesmen in the military, you know that you're never going to make general unless you say yes to what goes on in the uh uh Army war colleges, and uh it's infested the naval institutes uh uh and in West Point.
- 45:45All of these organizations have been infiltrated with uh globalists pushing the um the globalist point of view.
- 45:52And so it's no surprise to me.
- 45:54The other thing so much is we're we have developed a such a yesmanship uh feeling in the military.
- 46:02You know, it's not just a matter of saluting the officers, you know, even the military is bought into the fact that you cannot criticize an open civilian president.
- 46:10Now we believe in civilian control of the military, that's true.
- 46:14But that does not mean that the military can't openly protest when the civilians are doing something against, like MacArthur did.
- 46:23Uh, and you know, in uh in World War II and uh and like Patton did.
- 46:31You should be able to speak out.
- 46:33You have to ultimately submit to civilian control, but the military ought to be able to lobby the public when something is being taught to them or pushed on them that is not in the best interest of this nation.
- 46:45Yeah, I I also I think it has a lot to do with retirement.
- 46:49You know, they want to get to where the number is that they can retire, you know, and they can get a job somewhere sitting on a board or you know, in uh Alexandria or Arlington or Tyson's Corner at a defense contract or shop so they can talk to their uh their pay their co-patriots in the uh military who are still left.
- 47:11And that's that's a big thing.
- 47:13That revolving door, whether it's you know, on Capitol Hill or or at the Pentagon, we you know, nobody should be able to lobby anything for at least 15 years, you know.
- 47:22This way everybody's out of position.
- 47:25It's ruined our country.
- 47:26It's really ruined our country, Joel.
- 47:28You look at Dick Cheney working for Halliburton, knew nothing about the oil industry.
- 47:32This was typical revolving door.
- 47:34You got to work at you know, six figures or seven figures at a uh big oil company while you're waiting to be come back into the government as vice president to George W.
- 47:46Bush, where he ran that administration during nine.
- 47:48Oh, yeah, he was the boss, no doubt.
- 47:50Now, Halliburton, if uh correct, I saw numbers where they were with the uh Iraqi war.
- 47:56They they claimed that they made something like 32 billion during that time, Halliburton.
- 48:00Yeah, it wouldn't surprise me.
- 48:02Yeah.
- 48:03And originally, wasn't that brown and root back in the LBJ days?
- 48:07Yeah, sure.
- 48:07Brown and root, yeah.
- 48:08And then there's uh all of the spook uh, you know, Hamilton and uh other type that that uh, you know, uh does private domestic say uh surveillance for the U.S.
- 48:22government so that they, you know, can't claim that they're not doing it.
- 48:26But you know, there's a lot of corruption going on.
- 48:28Trump people are now engaging in insider trading.
- 48:31Oh, it's terrible.
- 48:32The anti-Trump media has been making the most of this week's revelations that members of the insider trading on oil futures, knowing in advance what Trump was going to announce, uh making a lot of money, and including Hexat, who made the trades in his own name.
- 48:51He's such an amateur that he didn't even hide it through going through VOC.
- 48:55You know, that'll happen when you drink a lot of beer.
- 48:58That'll happen when you drink a lot of beer.
- 49:00At 6 50 a.m., there was a massive amount of short positions were placed on the price of oil, knowing that it would drop due to the announcement that Trump was made gonna be making within the hour, putting off his attack on Iranian oil and electric infrastructure.
- 49:15So, you know, this kind of corruption, of course, has gone on in all administrations.
- 49:20In fact, members of Congress, most of them who are unprincipled, become very, very wealthy.
- 49:25Look what happened to AOC and other people.
- 49:28Uh Nancy Pelosi and uh many of these people have become very wealthy through insider trading.
- 49:34There's probably not a more scurvy organization on the face of the earth than the Senate and the Congress of the United States.
- 49:40It's uh Yeah, with almost a few notable exceptions, like Thomas Massey and Randall and with few explodes.
- 49:48Yeah, but I mean, as a whole.
- 49:52They supported the influx of uh of uh uh people into this country that we didn't know who they were, what they came from, or where they're what they were going to do.
- 50:00When they got here.
- 50:01It's an amazing thing.
- 50:04And again, it's it's the devastation of our education system.
- 50:09Because kids don't grow up with respect for their country or what it's accomplished.
- 50:13They grow up basically taught by people who hate it.
- 50:18Many, many of them are.
- 50:20Well, that's what happens when you have government control over education.
- 50:23Absolutely, Joel.
- 50:24Education should be competitive.
- 50:27The public, you can have public schools, but they ought to be totally user-fee based, so they don't compete with private.
- 50:33Then people can take their money and educate where they can.
- 50:36And if you have a public education system to give minimum literacy, it ought to be limited to just that.
- 50:43Maybe the first five grades in elementary school, we teach reading, writing, arithmetic, and fine, that's it.
- 50:48Everything else then is private there.
- 50:51Nobody can complain that they can't start off in society because they know how to read, write, and and uh and do arithmetic.
- 50:59But boy, from then on, forget about the social studies and this indoctrination and uh all of the things that have dumbed down American society for so many years.
- 51:09You know, you wonder when you speak of the academies.
- 51:12These are not unintelligent kids.
- 51:15And I wonder when they're if it I wonder when they're faced.
- 51:20I keep thinking of the of the professor that published such a defamatory book at Robert again about Robert E.
- 51:26Lee four or five, six years ago now.
- 51:29Yeah.
- 51:30I wonder if there was any kid in his class who stood up and said, listen, this is not this is not true.
- 51:36This is not right.
- 51:38Well, they probably didn't know, Mike.
- 51:39That's why they didn't stand up.
- 51:41They didn't know anything, you know.
- 51:42Although a lot of these kids do, Colonel, a lot of these kids do come out of pretty good schools before they get to West Point.
- 51:49Well, well, let's just if it starts so early that you don't talk back.
- 51:53Well, let's let's just look at you know, this you know, bringing in these foreign students, India and China, for example.
- 51:59They say, you know, oh, it they have this great elementary school education, you know, by the sixth or eighth grade, an Indian student can code, and you know that we need them, you know, they're brilliant to come in with an H1B visa.
- 52:12An example, and the reason I'm saying it is I just read today that we have an Indian uh now promoted to uh she's 10 years with the uh department of labor.
- 52:22They promoted her to CIO, chief information information officer.
- 52:27And when you look at her resume, uh, or her um transcript, she graduated from an average university in India when there wasn't even AI, but they promoted her based on her knowledge of AI.
- 52:45And you when you look at her resume and you look you look at the average American kid, anybody could have got that job.
- 52:51Yeah, you know what I mean?
- 52:53But but then we get this thing about oh, we need them, you know.
- 52:56Uh, our guys can't do that work, or our students.
- 52:59Yeah, our students paying a hundred grand, and they can't even work for their own government.
- 53:04Yeah, and it's jumped a line, H1B.
- 53:06Oh, they're much, much smarter than us.
- 53:08Oh, they're you know, they needed why do you why would you promote that?
- 53:12We we are just what Trump is doing with visas and what Trump is doing with India and China.
- 53:19I mean, I don't know.
- 53:21If I was if I was an American kid, I'd be right in the street.
- 53:25I'll tell you that young kid today, paying the school and having to pay all that stuff, you know.
- 53:30Well, the worst thing has been his doubling the amount of Chinese students who are allowed to come into our top universities to 600,000 a year.
- 53:37Those are all mostly Chinese spies that are taking this information and going back and joining the workforce in China.
- 53:47What else are they going to do?
- 53:48Right.
- 53:49That's right.
- 53:50He's got a 600,000 uh group of intelligence collectors.
- 53:55Right.
- 53:56Or errand runners, or people who appear at rallies if he comes to the country.
- 54:02It's uh it's like the man is an idiot sometimes.
- 54:07Guys are coming down to the last couple of minutes.
- 54:09Boy, this went fast, Mike and Joel.
- 54:10Thank you for coming on again.
- 54:12Uh, want to wrap it up?
- 54:13Who wants to wrap it up?
- 54:14Go ahead.
- 54:16Let Joel go.
- 54:17He just did his uh report this week, and we'll be interested to read it when it comes out.
- 54:21Yeah, the World Affairs, the World Affairs Brief is going to cover Trump's speech and uh you know how this war is is going to end or terminate.
- 54:30And I don't think it's going to end well.
- 54:31Trump is going to be very hard-pressed in order to be able to declare a victory here.
- 54:36Now he'll do it.
- 54:37He never admits air, he never admits that he fails.
- 54:40So he'll make up some excuse to say this is a win, but I think he's going to have to back out of this war sooner rather than later because of the damage to the global economy, the damage to his reputation over this war.
- 54:52This has tainted global Donald Trump more than any other thing is uh with his own constituency, this war.
- 55:00Now, they're sticking with Trump because they got no other place to go.
- 55:03Yeah, and that's the problem when you have a strong leader in the conservative movement, is there's a vacuum created for anyone, you know, in there's nobody else in the shadows except JD Vance, and don't trust JD Vance because of his you know sponsorship by Peter Thiel and uh and uh and other globalist connections and the way that he was able to write a book while he was going to law school, which is anybody who goes to law school knows you have no time to write a book.
- 55:33Um but in any case, um I'm worried about uh the conservative movement because of the damage that Donald Trump will do it.
- 55:41Uh, he's a person that frankly I have to admit now uh I used to distrust, now I despise him because he's an arrogant maniac now who's just flipping and changing his mind constantly, whether about terrorists, which has been put on hold now at the Supreme Court, but now with war, he keeps flipping and changing his mind about who's the enemy and who's not.
- 56:03All right, my bet, my bet is uh Hexet goes under the bus by September.
- 56:08That's my bet.
- 56:09And uh I think we have to do a little quick promo before I close.
- 56:15If you haven't looked at the Constitution Party online, Joel is with the Constitution Party, Colonel Mike is give it a look, and because it's the real conservative party.
- 56:26So we want to thank you, Joel Stagus, for coming back on and joining us on the mission.
- 56:30The National Security L is the tip of the spear in the epic battle to defend the United States of America, and we say we mean that.
- 56:37Joel, thank you, everybody.
- 56:39Have a happy holiday.
- 56:42All right, see you next week.
