- 0:02Speaker 1: Here's your host, Alex Garrett. Well, one thing that I
- 0:09Speaker 1: did not know about my dad was that January twenty
- 0:15Speaker 1: first was always a spiritual birthday for him when we
- 0:20Speaker 1: were and I'm saying this for a reason, when we
- 0:23Speaker 1: were in the ambulance on the way to the hospital
- 0:27Speaker 1: in March of twenty twenty three. I know I've talked
- 0:29Speaker 1: about him a lot this week on social media because
- 0:31Speaker 1: you know, we're honoring him this week, but he told
- 0:37Speaker 1: me that his birthday was biologically April nineteenth, so today
- 0:47Speaker 1: he would have been eighty eight years old. And if
- 0:50Speaker 1: you want to know why I talk news, because well,
- 0:52Speaker 1: my dad raised me on the news channels. He'd always
- 0:55Speaker 1: had me listening to either Sports with Howie Rose and
- 0:58Speaker 1: Sam Rosen and Kenny Albert, or he slip over and
- 1:02Speaker 1: listened to Curtis Leewad Nine's Eventy. I mean, all of
- 1:07Speaker 1: this podcast is a mixture of what I've been raised
- 1:09Speaker 1: on from both sides of my family. And I just
- 1:13Speaker 1: thought I mentioned that on my dad's eighty eighth birthday.
- 1:17Speaker 1: I'll got into more of what's burning up my soul
- 1:20Speaker 1: because there was more intel leaks that I haven't even
- 1:25Speaker 1: got to. I mean, why I ran now knows by
- 1:28Speaker 1: the way, Israel's plan to attack them through the New
- 1:32Speaker 1: York Times is anonymous source story is preposterous. Did you
- 1:40Speaker 1: read this the other day? Because I did, and I
- 1:43Speaker 1: immediately called, well, you know, my buddy Lou loves his sports,
- 1:47Speaker 1: but he also loves to talk to this kind of stuff.
- 1:49Speaker 1: The New York Times came out speaking of my rand
- 1:53Speaker 1: the other day saying Trump wave. This was Wednesday night.
- 1:55Speaker 1: Trump waved offers really strike after division's emerged in his administration?
- 2:00Speaker 1: Is your developed plans for attacking Iranian nuclear facilities that
- 2:04Speaker 1: would have required US assistance? But some administration officials had doubts,
- 2:13Speaker 1: so you piggyback off the story today where they're in
- 2:16Speaker 1: nuclear negotiation negotiation with Iran? Is that why the trauma
- 2:20Speaker 1: administration wave Israel law? But then I think further. The
- 2:29Speaker 1: Times clearly stated that this was all anonymous sources leaking
- 2:33Speaker 1: to the press. War plans again, attack plans again. I
- 2:42Speaker 1: want to see more people escorted out of the Pentagon
- 2:45Speaker 1: if these leaks continue. Secretary of Hexeth, President Trump, these
- 2:51Speaker 1: leaks are damaging natural security. It looks about as bad,
- 2:55Speaker 1: and I know that nobody's died from this, but it's
- 3:00Speaker 1: as bad as the Afghan san ntrol which killed the
- 3:03Speaker 1: actual thirteen Americans. But the weakness is showing because you
- 3:09Speaker 1: have leakers that need to be escort out of the Pentagon,
- 3:13Speaker 1: not just one day out of the week. And these
- 3:17Speaker 1: leakers are damaging our national security. The signal chat damages
- 3:23Speaker 1: our security. Yes, it's awful that Goldberg was let in
- 3:29Speaker 1: there and that he got access to this, that's number one.
- 3:35Speaker 1: But as I mentioned before, Goldberg leaking this whole chat.
- 3:41Speaker 1: Now this these leaks have to stop because if they don't,
- 3:50Speaker 1: our national security risk is going to elevate. And one
- 3:54Speaker 1: thing I want to mention on this podcast that I
- 3:57Speaker 1: haven't yet, but I want to put it in on
- 3:59Speaker 1: the air. Here is the simple fact that I love
- 4:04Speaker 1: talking sports. I love it. It's a great distraction and
- 4:09Speaker 1: it's something that makes me passionate. But you know what
- 4:11Speaker 1: also makes me passionate the national security of our country.
- 4:16Speaker 1: If these leaks continue, if national security is always at risk,
- 4:22Speaker 1: God forbid. I say this, going to a sports game
- 4:25Speaker 1: may not be a luxury we get to enjoy to
- 4:30Speaker 1: go to these games is because we are kept safe.
- 4:34Speaker 1: These leaks are not keeping us safe. So I I
- 4:38Speaker 1: rank national security of our country above what Aaron Judge
- 4:44Speaker 1: and Juan Sota we're talking about in the post. It's
- 4:49Speaker 1: great Judges, Hinholmers and SODA's going over five, great entertainment.
- 4:52Speaker 1: It's going to be a white hot summer for baseball
- 4:55Speaker 1: in New York. But we don't need it to be
- 4:58Speaker 1: a white hot summer of security risks because there are
- 5:01Speaker 1: people in the Pentagon leaking over and over again. How
- 5:07Speaker 1: is The Times getting this information exposing our ally Israel's
- 5:12Speaker 1: plan and making Iran aware at the same time that
- 5:16Speaker 1: there are plans against them. Isn't that a national security risk?
- 5:22Speaker 1: I don't know you email me alex at ALEKXTRINWSC dot com.
- 5:26Speaker 1: Do we not care about security anymore? And I mean
- 5:29Speaker 1: this from the campus level, where anti Semitism still runs
- 5:34Speaker 1: rampant to this exposing of Israel's plans, which I think
- 5:43Speaker 1: there's an agenda there to dry An under mine Israel,
- 5:47Speaker 1: which some could view as antisemitic because who runs the
- 5:50Speaker 1: country Jewish leaders. It goes beyond just a state thing.
- 5:57Speaker 1: It goes beyond it's a personal thing. When Israel is
- 6:02Speaker 1: undermined for me anyway, I'm about for you but I
- 6:07Speaker 1: don't think people in the MADRIDI who want to see
- 6:11Speaker 1: Israel fail are exactly pro the Jewish state, pro Jewish people.
- 6:22Speaker 1: There might be some radical, pro free Palestiners in there
- 6:26Speaker 1: that we don't know about, but they're sure as hell
- 6:30Speaker 1: mentioned as anonymous sources because they're the ones that are
- 6:33Speaker 1: telling the times. Hey, guess what, Israel wanted to attack
- 6:37Speaker 1: Iran and we stopped them on this Holy Saturday and
- 6:49Speaker 1: a weekend where Easter and Passover cross over. I just
- 6:55Speaker 1: would like a few days where we can get the
- 6:59Speaker 1: news that is more spiritual in nature and more unified
- 7:05Speaker 1: in nature, because there is a warfare going on, not
- 7:09Speaker 1: only against America but against yes, the Jewish people, a
- 7:19Speaker 1: spiritual warfare going on. Clearly, these leaks are not just leaks.
- 7:25Speaker 1: There's some sort of I don't even want to call
- 7:32Speaker 1: it spiritual warfare, but there's a warfare there too that
- 7:37Speaker 1: we must combat. And you know, we combat it by
- 7:39Speaker 1: taking the unity that is Eastern and Passover on the
- 7:43Speaker 1: same weekend and applying that spiritual unity into unity in
- 7:50Speaker 1: the Pentagon, into unity with Israel, into unity on our
- 7:54Speaker 1: college campuses. And one last thing, a reminder that in
- 8:02Speaker 1: seventeen seventy five. On April nineteenth, Paul Revere had his
- 8:06Speaker 1: midnight ride which led to the historic Battle of Lexington
- 8:10Speaker 1: and Concord, which the Yankees, if you will, were victorious
- 8:15Speaker 1: over Britain. And of course it was the big start
- 8:19Speaker 1: to the March toward America two fifty, which is next
- 8:22Speaker 1: year the countdown is officially on as this was the
- 8:26Speaker 1: beginning of our fight for independence in the units of America.
- 8:30Speaker 1: So I guess betting I'm wearing the Yankees talking about
- 8:33Speaker 1: those Yankees and those patriots that started it all back
- 8:37Speaker 1: on April nineteenth, seventeen seventy five. They sure did have
- 8:41Speaker 1: one leg up for our country, didn't they. That's all
- 8:44Speaker 1: for now, and happy birthday, Pops.
