- 1:03Speaker 2: You guys, I'm so excited for my Patreons episodes this
- 1:07Speaker 2: weekend because there is lots of Juicy Scoop to discuss
- 1:11Speaker 2: and you go to heathermcdonald.net and you join the Juicy
- 1:14Speaker 2: Scoop because I know you're like, Heather, you have not
- 1:16Speaker 2: talked about Kenya on Real Housewives of Atlanta, the reunion
- 1:20Speaker 2: of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, my time with Sutton.
- 1:23Speaker 2: Like I have so much scoop, but it's going to
- 1:26Speaker 2: be on the Patreon because I have such a with
- 1:30Speaker 2: one of your favorites and here we go. Hello and
- 1:33Speaker 2: welcome to Juicy Scoop. I have one of our return favorites,
- 1:37Speaker 2: but he's a busy man. And you might remember him
- 1:40Speaker 2: from being on our show that we talk about still
- 1:42Speaker 2: so much, Chelsea Lately. But of course he is hilarious.
- 1:47Speaker 2: It's Josh Wolfe, Father of the Year. What are your
- 1:52Speaker 2: other special names?
- 1:53Speaker 3: You have so many specials. I'm here for the fun,
- 1:55Speaker 3: four stories.
- 1:56Speaker 2: Yes.
- 1:56Speaker 3: It's the first time You haven't said Josh Woof.
- 2:00Speaker 2: You know I have a problem with certain words. I know.
- 2:04Speaker 2: Bathing suit.
- 2:05Speaker 3: You nailed it.
- 2:06Speaker 2: Thank you.
- 2:07Speaker 3: Yeah, you nailed it.
- 2:08Speaker 2: I'm trying. I'm growing up finally. So happy you're here.
- 2:12Speaker 2: Fresh off the plane from Vegas, which is your home base.
- 2:15Speaker 3: I absolutely love living in Las Vegas.
- 2:18Speaker 2: I love to hear that.
- 2:19Speaker 3: It's my favorite place I think I've ever lived. But
- 2:22Speaker 3: I have started gambling maybe a little more than I.
- 2:26Speaker 2: At the actual casinos?
- 2:27Speaker 4: Oh, yeah.
- 2:28Speaker 2: What kind of thing do you like to gamble?
- 2:30Speaker 3: I like to sit and pull slots.
- 2:32Speaker 2: Oh, okay.
- 2:33Speaker 3: I love to sit.
- 2:34Speaker 2: And do you set a limit, like $ 100, and then
- 2:36Speaker 2: I'm out no matter what?
- 2:39Speaker 3: No, I'm not that strict with myself. If I leave
- 2:45Speaker 3: with like $ 500, I'll leave the house and I'll go, okay,
- 2:49Speaker 3: this is what I'm gambling tonight. But I'm way up.
- 2:53Speaker 2: Good.
- 2:54Speaker 3: I'm way up. I can't gamble as much since Jacob
- 2:57Speaker 3: had his little issues, but Beth and I will go out.
- 3:00Speaker 3: We have a nice dinner.
- 3:01Speaker 2: And how is Jacob doing?
- 3:02Speaker 3: He's doing very well. He's sober.
- 3:04Speaker 2: Right. That's Josh's co-host son.
- 3:09Speaker 3: He travels with me. He opens for me.
- 3:10Speaker 2: And now he does stand-up too. And when did he
- 3:13Speaker 2: start doing stand-up? Because he was more on your shows
- 3:16Speaker 2: and stuff before he actually was doing stand-up, right?
- 3:18Speaker 3: About two years ago. About two years ago. I threw
- 3:23Speaker 3: him on stage. I told him, I said, hey, we
- 3:25Speaker 3: were in Austin.
- 3:26Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 3:26Speaker 3: And I was like, hey, you're on in five minutes.
- 3:29Speaker 3: And he was like, what? I go, oh, you're hosting
- 3:30Speaker 3: this weekend. And he was freaking out. And he was like,
- 3:33Speaker 3: what should I do? And I said, just tell, you're
- 3:35Speaker 3: a great storyteller. Just tell some stories. They already, it's
- 3:39Speaker 3: like when you bring your kids, they know them and
- 3:41Speaker 3: like them already.
- 3:41Speaker 2: Yeah. Right?
- 3:42Speaker 3: I said, you can't lose. This is a home game.
- 3:46Speaker 3: It doesn't even matter if you're funny. They're going to like,
- 3:48Speaker 3: because they've heard so much about you.
- 3:50Speaker 2: Right.
- 3:50Speaker 3: They're going to want to see you. He walked on stage.
- 3:53Speaker 3: He got a huge ovation.
- 3:54Speaker 2: Yes.
- 3:55Speaker 3: And it was his first set. And he stumbled around.
- 4:00Speaker 3: But but he was like, I love this.
- 4:01Speaker 2: It's so great, you know, and it's because Drake helps
- 4:05Speaker 2: me with the business.
- 4:07Speaker 3: Yes.
- 4:08Speaker 2: And goes on the road and, you know, like but he,
- 4:12Speaker 2: you know, is not thirsty at all. And so like
- 4:16Speaker 2: so we're home and we brought all the master stuff.
- 4:19Speaker 2: and we were watching The Last Day, and he takes
- 4:23Speaker 2: one of the chairs, because we brought the chairs, and
- 4:25Speaker 2: he brings it in the living room, and he goes,
- 4:27Speaker 2: I'm just going to watch it in this master's chair
- 4:29Speaker 2: and pretend. And I go, oh, let me film that.
- 4:33Speaker 2: And I'm like, this is such a funny video, and
- 4:35Speaker 2: I'm like, point of view, your parents went to the
- 4:36Speaker 2: masters and you didn't. And these are all his ideas
- 4:39Speaker 2: and stuff, and I'm like, well, can I tag you?
- 4:41Speaker 2: He's like, no, that's fine, that he doesn't want to.
- 4:44Speaker 2: And so... He like had us dying laughing. He like imitates,
- 4:49Speaker 2: you know, Peter imitates Peter's his uncle. And I'm always like,
- 4:53Speaker 2: would you ever think about it? You know, because I'm
- 4:56Speaker 2: so jealous that you have Jacob because I'm like, it
- 4:59Speaker 2: would be so fun to like have him do a
- 5:01Speaker 2: little bit.
- 5:02Speaker 3: We'll see.
- 5:03Speaker 2: We'll see if he, he says he's not, he does
- 5:05Speaker 2: not want to be like an actor or stand up
- 5:07Speaker 2: or anything, but you never know.
- 5:08Speaker 3: But when we were in Vegas and we saw you
- 5:11Speaker 3: and you said his name, the place goes crazy.
- 5:13Speaker 2: Oh, yeah. But it kind of embarrasses him a little bit.
- 5:16Speaker 2: Like I'm like, I wanted him to go out in
- 5:18Speaker 2: the audience and like do the Q & A. And
- 5:22Speaker 2: he was like, no. But in baby steps, it's like
- 5:24Speaker 2: more and more and more. I think he's starting to
- 5:26Speaker 2: be like, OK. But, you know, of course, it's a
- 5:29Speaker 2: craft and you got to work on it. I don't
- 5:30Speaker 2: want it to be. But I love a Nepo podcaster. Listen,
- 5:36Speaker 2: I like let's I want to be the first to
- 5:38Speaker 2: have NEPO podcasters. I won't be the first to have
- 5:42Speaker 2: a NEPO, but I might be the first female stand
- 5:45Speaker 2: up to have a NEPO stand up.
- 5:48Speaker 3: You just started NEPO channel.
- 5:49Speaker 2: Yes. But I want it because, you know, even with
- 5:52Speaker 2: with Joan Rivers, you know, Melissa, she I was like,
- 5:56Speaker 2: did you ever think of doing stand up? And she
- 5:59Speaker 2: she's like, yeah, but I mean, you imagine what the
- 6:02Speaker 2: news would be if I went and did a set
- 6:04Speaker 2: at the Melrose Improv and all of that. And I'm like, yeah,
- 6:08Speaker 2: you're right. It would have been awful. But I said
- 6:12Speaker 2: to her, I go, but you should like, you have
- 6:15Speaker 2: such a unique experience. I'm like, you're the only person
- 6:18Speaker 2: on this earth that had a mother that was that
- 6:21Speaker 2: big of a standup. Who's a girl. Like there's, there's
- 6:24Speaker 2: plenty of people who was like, dads were standups. I'm like,
- 6:27Speaker 2: but you're the only one. Like, what was that like
- 6:30Speaker 2: to be at like your private school? And the night
- 6:31Speaker 2: before your mom was on the tonight show when everyone
- 6:34Speaker 2: was watching it and she did a bit about you.
- 6:36Speaker 2: And she just kind of was like, I don't know.
- 6:38Speaker 2: I still think she should explore it more. I think
- 6:41Speaker 2: it should be a TV show. Like, I think it's
- 6:42Speaker 2: so unique and such a unique experience. And I say
- 6:46Speaker 2: that to the boys too. Like, I was like, when
- 6:49Speaker 2: they were writing their essays, I go, I know, I
- 6:51Speaker 2: know it shouldn't be about me. I go, but you really,
- 6:55Speaker 2: you two are the only people on earth. The only
- 6:59Speaker 2: people on earth That have a mom that's a headlining
- 7:02Speaker 2: stand-up that's my age. Now, the Ali Wongs and even
- 7:05Speaker 2: Christina Pazinski, they have younger kids. Those kids will all
- 7:09Speaker 2: be writing those same essays. But my kid, no, my
- 7:13Speaker 2: kid is the only one.
- 7:14Speaker 3: Jacob is old enough now. But here's what he's up against.
- 7:19Speaker 3: So on one hand, people are like, well, he started
- 7:21Speaker 3: on third base and he's nepo baby. And this is
- 7:24Speaker 3: all true. He gets 90 minutes of stage time a week.
- 7:28Speaker 2: Yeah. That's a lot.
- 7:29Speaker 1: Yes.
- 7:30Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 7:30Speaker 3: So he definitely gets a start on third base. But
- 7:32Speaker 3: you know what people don't understand is they expect him
- 7:35Speaker 3: to be way funnier than he could possibly be two
- 7:38Speaker 3: years in.
- 7:39Speaker 2: Right.
- 7:39Speaker 3: So the expectations for him are way higher. He doesn't
- 7:43Speaker 3: get to suck like we all did.
- 7:45Speaker 4: Right.
- 7:45Speaker 3: In obscurity. He has to suck in front of large crowds.
- 7:50Speaker 2: The first time I did stand up. So I got
- 7:52Speaker 2: my start living in L.A. I was 22. 22, yeah, 22, 23.
- 7:58Speaker 3: Had you done like improv and?
- 8:01Speaker 2: Just, yes, in high school and stuff, but I didn't
- 8:03Speaker 2: pursue it in college. And so I took a standup
- 8:07Speaker 2: class at the end of the standup class.
- 8:08Speaker 3: Judy Carter?
- 8:10Speaker 2: No, it was another girl named Judy, but it wasn't
- 8:12Speaker 2: Judy Carter. This Judy looked like the lady in like,
- 8:15Speaker 2: come into the light. I think she was just, I
- 8:18Speaker 2: think she was playing on her name that it was Judy. Yeah.
- 8:21Speaker 2: I took up, my friend gave me in the magazine
- 8:23Speaker 2: learning annex and she's like, you are going to this class.
- 8:26Speaker 2: But I went to the, to the, like a Radisson
- 8:29Speaker 2: or something in Santa Monica, took the little class. And
- 8:34Speaker 2: for the first time I realized, oh, like as long
- 8:37Speaker 2: as you set it up, the people don't know, have
- 8:39Speaker 2: to know that I'm imitating my teacher. They don't have
- 8:41Speaker 2: to be in the class with me, whatever. I got
- 8:43Speaker 2: like how, so I took the little class and she
- 8:47Speaker 2: probably charged me more than the other people. Cause like
- 8:49Speaker 2: I had like my mom's Louis Vuitton from like a
- 8:52Speaker 2: rich client gave a tour and I was like trying
- 8:53Speaker 2: to be bougie and like had a decent car. But
- 8:55Speaker 2: so then, and at the end of it, like my
- 8:58Speaker 2: family came, everyone was so excited. I wore a pantsuit,
- 9:01Speaker 2: like a Paula Poundstone, like what the fuck? I'm 23. Anyway.
- 9:04Speaker 2: So I did it. I just found the tapes and
- 9:07Speaker 2: I'm going to put it on legacy box and start
- 9:08Speaker 2: sharing this stuff.
- 9:09Speaker 3: Wait, are you in your pantsuit?
- 9:11Speaker 2: Oh yeah. It's kind of flattering pantsuit. But anyway, So like,
- 9:16Speaker 2: why am I like, I'm young, whatever. So after that,
- 9:19Speaker 2: you know, my family, I did great. I mean, for
- 9:22Speaker 2: a first time, it was a very positive experience.
- 9:24Speaker 3: How much time?
- 9:24Speaker 2: I tell people try to have a positive first time experience.
- 9:26Speaker 3: How much time did you have to do?
- 9:28Speaker 2: I think we did. Everyone was doing like eight minutes
- 9:30Speaker 2: or something.
- 9:30Speaker 3: That's a lot. First time.
- 9:32Speaker 2: Yeah. But you'd practice it in the group, in the class.
- 9:35Speaker 2: And so then after that, my sister's like, oh, I
- 9:39Speaker 2: know this guy at Omnipop.
- 9:42Speaker 3: I remember Omnipop.
- 9:43Speaker 2: So I get the number. And somehow I get him
- 9:46Speaker 2: on the phone and I'm like, yeah, I've done like
- 9:49Speaker 2: three times, whatever. And I remember what he said. He goes,
- 9:54Speaker 2: my advice to you is that nobody should see you
- 9:58Speaker 2: for two years. Well, nowadays. that's like an impossibility. Everybody
- 10:02Speaker 2: tapes themselves. Everybody puts it on TikTok. But I also
- 10:05Speaker 2: love that people can make money doing other things besides
- 10:08Speaker 2: stand-up and being creative. But in that case, I'm like,
- 10:12Speaker 2: I always kind of remember that. And I think that's...
- 10:15Speaker 2: a great thing. So then I didn't pursue an agent
- 10:18Speaker 2: or anything for a couple of years. Then I thought
- 10:20Speaker 2: it was really good advice.
- 10:21Speaker 3: In comedy, which is so weird, your first impression, people's
- 10:24Speaker 3: first impression of your comedy is usually what sticks forever.
- 10:28Speaker 3: So if they saw you one time 10 years ago
- 10:32Speaker 3: and you sucked, they're going to be like, nah, Josh sucks.
- 10:35Speaker 2: I remember there was a pretty cute girl that did
- 10:37Speaker 2: a lot of hosting and she was very nice.
- 10:39Speaker 3: What was her name?
- 10:40Speaker 2: I don't remember anybody's names, but I'll remember their jokes
- 10:43Speaker 2: and stuff. Yeah, from here. And so she was cute. So, like,
- 10:47Speaker 2: if you were young and cute, like, you'd kind of
- 10:49Speaker 2: get some attention. But you know, like, who was good
- 10:52Speaker 2: and who was bad. If I say this joke, you
- 10:54Speaker 2: might remember. And it was just, I remember, like, going,
- 10:57Speaker 2: this joke sucks. But then years later, she did get better.
- 11:01Speaker 2: But I was always thinking that guy was right. But
- 11:03Speaker 2: it was, I'm Irish and I'm Dutch, so I get
- 11:07Speaker 2: drunk and I drive into a windmill.
- 11:10Speaker 3: Yeah, I know.
- 11:11Speaker 2: Because there was a time where everybody did jokes of like,
- 11:13Speaker 2: I'm half Indian and I'm half this.
- 11:14Speaker 3: Which means I'm, yeah.
- 11:16Speaker 2: Which I'm half Jew, I'm half Catholic. I don't know.
- 11:18Speaker 2: That was like probably one of these Judy classes probably
- 11:21Speaker 2: told you how to do it.
- 11:22Speaker 3: Can I tell you something?
- 11:23Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 11:24Speaker 3: So when- I guess.
- 11:26Speaker 2: The girl's like listening to that right now. That was me.
- 11:30Speaker 3: We were, so I was struggling for money and Joey
- 11:33Speaker 3: Diaz called me and he goes, hey, Josh Wolf. He said,
- 11:36Speaker 3: Univision is doing a, They're putting people on TV, Spanish comics.
- 11:41Speaker 2: Wait, I think.
- 11:42Speaker 3: I did this too.
- 11:43Speaker 2: Wait, was this like right after Chelsea ended? Was this
- 11:45Speaker 2: like 10 years ago?
- 11:47Speaker 3: This is way early.
- 11:48Speaker 2: Oh, way early. Okay, continue.
- 11:49Speaker 3: And he was like, but you got to be Spanish.
- 11:51Speaker 3: And I go, okay. He was like, told them you
- 11:52Speaker 3: were half Jewish, half Cuban.
- 11:54Speaker 2: Oh, that's good. That's believable.
- 11:56Speaker 3: He was like, so write some jokes. So I did
- 11:58Speaker 3: half Jewish, half Cuban jokes. I was like, I'm half Jewish,
- 12:01Speaker 3: half Cuban. That means half my family are lawyers and
- 12:04Speaker 3: the other half are clients. And people were like, yay!
- 12:07Speaker 3: I did five minutes of being half Cuban, half Jewish.
- 12:10Speaker 3: They were like, do you have any more? And I
- 12:11Speaker 3: was like, no, that's all I got. But for a
- 12:14Speaker 3: long time, there were a lot of Hispanic comics in
- 12:18Speaker 3: town who thought I was Cuban. I finally had to
- 12:20Speaker 3: tell them. I was like, yeah, that's not.
- 12:22Speaker 2: I remember I was like, I'm going to go out
- 12:24Speaker 2: there and I'm going to say I'm Jewish, too, like
- 12:27Speaker 2: Irish and Jewish. And my name's Heather McStein. That's a
- 12:30Speaker 2: really bad joke. And I never said it, but I
- 12:32Speaker 2: was just thinking of dumb things like that.
- 12:34Speaker 3: First of all, you're the first person I've ever met
- 12:36Speaker 3: that did a learning annex class.
- 12:38Speaker 2: Really? Yes. Well, you're valuable to me.
- 12:40Speaker 3: I did a class, not a class, but I did
- 12:42Speaker 3: a training session at a Radisson when I was in
- 12:45Speaker 3: college to learn how to be a karaoke DJ.
- 12:50Speaker 2: What's the secret?
- 12:51Speaker 3: Well, this- I'll tell you something. I have never been
- 12:56Speaker 3: touched by more 50-year-old women when I was 21.
- 12:59Speaker 2: Oh, so you started to do the job. You got it,
- 13:02Speaker 2: and then you did the job.
- 13:03Speaker 3: In the class.
- 13:04Speaker 2: Oh.
- 13:04Speaker 3: It was in the class. So we were there for
- 13:09Speaker 3: a weekend in Dallas.
- 13:11Speaker 2: Oh, like an intensive.
- 13:12Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 13:12Speaker 2: It was like today's master class. Like an Oprah's master class.
- 13:16Speaker 2: And so we all went.
- 13:19Speaker 3: And so we all, they, they made you like, you know,
- 13:21Speaker 3: what's your spiel? Who are you going to be on
- 13:22Speaker 3: the mic? You know? And, uh, at 21, apparently 50
- 13:27Speaker 3: year old women were, I was the type. I had
- 13:32Speaker 3: more sex with 50 year old women that weekend.
- 13:36Speaker 2: Really?
- 13:37Speaker 3: I could not, I went back, I was in college.
- 13:39Speaker 3: So I went back to college to tell my friends,
- 13:42Speaker 3: I was like, I had sex with a 50 year old.
- 13:44Speaker 3: They were like, what? I was like two of them.
- 13:47Speaker 3: Two separate 50-year-olds. It was, by the way.
- 13:50Speaker 2: And now you always have sex with a 50-year-old because
- 13:52Speaker 2: they're married.
- 13:53Speaker 3: That's true. It's a little different now because both of
- 13:55Speaker 3: our bodies match up.
- 13:56Speaker 2: So, okay, let's, you were talking about the masters. Oh.
- 14:01Speaker 2: So there was, okay, you know, the whole thing with
- 14:03Speaker 2: the guy that won, Rory. So, you know, there is
- 14:07Speaker 2: a lot of juice about him. Well, he was filed
- 14:12Speaker 2: for divorce from the wife.
- 14:13Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 14:14Speaker 2: And then got, And then got back with her. And
- 14:18Speaker 2: so there's rumors of what happened and I'm working on
- 14:21Speaker 2: it because I know that's all my Juicy Scooper women
- 14:25Speaker 2: want to know is what is the scoop about the
- 14:28Speaker 2: guy that won? Not the trials and tribulations of what
- 14:31Speaker 2: got him there and where he's actually practicing putting. We
- 14:34Speaker 2: want to know why they filed and then they got
- 14:37Speaker 2: back together. And I just want you guys to know
- 14:39Speaker 2: I'm working on it. It'll be on the Patreon this Friday.
- 14:42Speaker 3: I will tell you, I watched the... I watched, obviously. Yeah.
- 14:46Speaker 3: And I did comment to Beth because I said, Beth,
- 14:48Speaker 3: you should watch this. This is history for this guy.
- 14:51Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 14:51Speaker 3: She didn't obviously care, but we were both watching. And
- 14:55Speaker 3: the intensity of the hugs that he gave compared to
- 15:00Speaker 3: the hug he gave his wife was so different. Like
- 15:05Speaker 3: he is just hugging and crying with some people. And
- 15:09Speaker 3: with his wife, he almost gave her like.
- 15:10Speaker 2: A three pack. I know. I was like, is it
- 15:12Speaker 2: because of her big hat? Like, it was an odd thing.
- 15:15Speaker 2: It felt real subdued. Well, he hugged Justin Rose's wife
- 15:19Speaker 2: extremely long.
- 15:20Speaker 3: Yes!
- 15:20Speaker 2: What was that about?
- 15:22Speaker 3: Way, way longer than his wife.
- 15:24Speaker 2: And then people were like, stop reading into it. It's
- 15:25Speaker 2: just because they, he felt sorry that, uh, I, my
- 15:29Speaker 2: whole life when I'd be watching games and stuff, like,
- 15:32Speaker 2: you know when they play, uh, do football games? When
- 15:34Speaker 2: I was a little girl, like, the football would be
- 15:36Speaker 2: on right on Thanksgiving.
- 15:37Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 15:37Speaker 2: And I remember, I was just.
- 15:38Speaker 3: The football?
- 15:39Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 15:40Speaker 2: But I remember thinking, oh, God, I wouldn't want to
- 15:42Speaker 2: be the wife. That like, you know, has to go
- 15:46Speaker 2: like as if they do Thanksgiving that day. But I
- 15:48Speaker 2: was just like, oh, I wouldn't want to be the
- 15:49Speaker 2: wife that like, you know, has to deal with this
- 15:51Speaker 2: husband if he loses. You know, I'm always thinking about
- 15:53Speaker 2: the wives. And so then he was like, oh, no,
- 15:57Speaker 2: he's so close to Justin and Justin's been playing for
- 16:00Speaker 2: a long time. It was strange.
- 16:05Speaker 3: You could give Justin Rose's wife that hug. If the
- 16:09Speaker 3: hug you gave your wife wasn't so much less intense
- 16:13Speaker 3: or long.
- 16:13Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 16:14Speaker 3: And it was like somebody you were like your college
- 16:17Speaker 3: friend you'd seen. You're like, hey, a couple of pats
- 16:19Speaker 3: on the back. It's kind of crazy.
- 16:20Speaker 2: It was.
- 16:21Speaker 3: I'm Darman, and this is What Happens Next.
- 16:24Speaker 4: Each week on the show, I sit down with extraordinary
- 16:27Speaker 4: people who have faced tremendous setbacks and yet somehow have
- 16:32Speaker 4: found a way to turn them into their greatest strengths.
- 16:35Speaker 3: Life is one long lesson of chaos.
- 16:38Speaker 2: I'm heading to the Emmys and I have police complaints
- 16:40Speaker 2: filed against me.
- 16:41Speaker 3: When your free will was about to be taken from you,
- 16:43Speaker 3: what would you do if it was given back?
- 16:46Speaker 4: Where did that need come from where you thought that
- 16:49Speaker 4: you had to succeed in order to feel loved?
- 16:51Speaker 3: He said, I have a work dad. I need a
- 16:53Speaker 3: home dad. What happens next? When I came in, he
- 16:55Speaker 3: started crying. Everybody in life encounters hardships.
- 16:58Speaker 4: What defines them is not those hard moments that they
- 17:02Speaker 4: go through.
- 17:03Speaker 3: It's about what happens next.
- 17:04Speaker 2: I decided to risk it all.
- 17:06Speaker 3: I realized how valuable every day was. You're worth the work. Listen, Dara,
- 17:10Speaker 3: I'm not going to pull punches.
- 17:11Speaker 2: You can use your voice even if it's shaped.
- 17:13Speaker 4: The stories are different, but the impact is the same.
- 17:16Speaker 4: Only one question matters. What happens next?
- 17:27Speaker 2: Okay, let's talk about some other weird stuff that's going on.
- 17:30Speaker 2: As you know... the origin flight. The girls went into
- 17:35Speaker 2: space and everyone jumped on the same bandwagon of you're
- 17:40Speaker 2: not astronauts. This was an 11 minute ride for rich people.
- 17:45Speaker 2: And it just seemed very out of touch. And Katy
- 17:50Speaker 2: Perry's speech, someone compared it to a funny video where
- 17:55Speaker 2: they're like, as she was talking about, we, we may
- 17:58Speaker 2: have gone to space, but we were meaning to take
- 18:01Speaker 2: up space. The speech went on and on. It reminded
- 18:03Speaker 2: me of like the Bridesmaid speech from the actual movie Bridesmaid.
- 18:07Speaker 2: Somebody cut it like that, which was very funny. And
- 18:09Speaker 2: she just said so many asinine things. And then Gail's like,
- 18:15Speaker 2: you know what was beautiful? It was after we got
- 18:18Speaker 2: to the space part or whatever and looked down at Earth,
- 18:21Speaker 2: then finally we've been asking Katie to sing this whole
- 18:25Speaker 2: time that we've been practicing being astronauts. And finally she
- 18:29Speaker 2: started to sing, you know, what a wonderful world. And
- 18:33Speaker 2: that's what was, that was the best part of coming back.
- 18:35Speaker 2: Like the whole thing. So then people get in there.
- 18:37Speaker 2: And of course the conspiracy theories, they never really went
- 18:40Speaker 2: up there. Well, I think they did. I mean, I
- 18:44Speaker 2: think we can say they did, but so the little
- 18:46Speaker 2: pod lands and, and because what it appears that Somebody
- 18:54Speaker 2: started to open the door and then was told, no,
- 18:57Speaker 2: Jeff Bezos is supposed to open the door, you know,
- 19:01Speaker 2: and have that moment. And so but because of that,
- 19:04Speaker 2: they were like, did this even really happen? I do
- 19:06Speaker 2: think it really happened, but I do think they had
- 19:08Speaker 2: this thing planned out. Of course. Let me be the one,
- 19:11Speaker 2: the man that opens the door. This is my fiance
- 19:14Speaker 2: in there. Like she invited all her best friends. I'm like,
- 19:17Speaker 2: this is just another version of my best friend's fucking
- 19:20Speaker 2: a guy with a jet. This is all that is.
- 19:23Speaker 2: Who's available to go to Cabo this weekend? Fire to
- 19:28Speaker 2: the jet. We got the table service. We got the
- 19:32Speaker 2: table service. Who wants to meet me at Dre's or whatever?
- 19:36Speaker 2: And so it's the same thing. It's like she probably
- 19:38Speaker 2: asked a bunch of people. Oprah didn't want to do it.
- 19:41Speaker 2: Kim Kardashian didn't want to do it. Oprah gave it
- 19:43Speaker 2: to gail whatever she picked and then there were like
- 19:45Speaker 2: a couple other people that were special but nobody knows
- 19:48Speaker 2: their story because we got obsessed with like katie and
- 19:50Speaker 2: gail so then gail comes out and she's just like
- 19:52Speaker 2: i'm so shocked at like why there's so much hate
- 19:56Speaker 2: i don't get it you know space is important and
- 19:59Speaker 2: You know, you can have two things at the same time.
- 20:01Speaker 2: You can be exploring space and be doing this and
- 20:04Speaker 2: also be concerned with the people that can't buy eggs.
- 20:07Speaker 2: Like it shouldn't be one or the other.
- 20:08Speaker 3: They weren't exploring space. It was like an extended Six
- 20:12Speaker 3: Flags ride.
- 20:13Speaker 4: Yes.
- 20:13Speaker 3: It was like they put them in the slingshot and
- 20:15Speaker 3: shot them up and then they fell down. Here's the thing.
- 20:19Speaker 3: There was nothing scientific about it. There was no science.
- 20:22Speaker 3: They weren't learning new things. It was rich people shit.
- 20:25Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 20:26Speaker 3: And this is not the right time for rich people shit.
- 20:29Speaker 3: It just isn't. And Gail, I'm sorry. She bothers the
- 20:34Speaker 3: fuck out of me. She bothers. I mean, she's basically,
- 20:37Speaker 3: she's used to going on rides like this.
- 20:39Speaker 2: She's the Nepo friend.
- 20:40Speaker 3: Yes. This is her whole career is just getting.
- 20:44Speaker 2: But she is likable on the Good Morning America. And
- 20:47Speaker 2: she has been a great friend to Oprah. And Oprah's
- 20:50Speaker 2: been a great friend to her. But I, last night,
- 20:54Speaker 2: people did an article and it came up on my
- 20:56Speaker 2: Instagram about like the backlash, whatever. And I wrote, you know,
- 21:01Speaker 2: this went over about as well as Oprah's GoFundMe for
- 21:05Speaker 2: the Maui fires. Like it just isn't, just stop. Don't
- 21:11Speaker 2: try to change her minds. It just was a big turd.
- 21:15Speaker 3: If they had said something, if they leaned away from
- 21:18Speaker 3: astronaut space science.
- 21:20Speaker 1: Yes.
- 21:21Speaker 3: And just been like, what a crazy opportunity that we
- 21:24Speaker 3: get to do this.
- 21:26Speaker 2: Or just be like, how great that my friend is
- 21:27Speaker 2: fucking Jeff Bezos. I get to go, I get to
- 21:30Speaker 2: be one of the girls that gets to go to
- 21:32Speaker 2: space and like all you bitches can, and then you
- 21:35Speaker 2: can flash their cash and do a little twerk and
- 21:38Speaker 2: be like.
- 21:39Speaker 3: Fuck off.
- 21:40Speaker 2: You wish you were me.
- 21:42Speaker 3: We're trying to lift women up. Fuck you. It has nothing,
- 21:46Speaker 3: this is not lifting up women in science or in space.
- 21:49Speaker 3: You're rich people who knows the third richest person in
- 21:53Speaker 3: the world.
- 21:53Speaker 2: Right.
- 21:54Speaker 3: Who gets to send people to space? By the way,
- 21:57Speaker 3: I would love for Jeff Bezos. I'd be on the
- 22:00Speaker 3: short list of just Jeff Bezos shit. That would be
- 22:02Speaker 3: real cool.
- 22:03Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 22:03Speaker 2: Like, I mean, you know, I said I don't really
- 22:05Speaker 2: want to go. But sure. If all of a sudden
- 22:08Speaker 2: I got cozy with Lauren Sanchez, which let me tell you,
- 22:13Speaker 2: I was DMing her too a couple of years ago.
- 22:17Speaker 2: But before she even got with him. Because someone's like,
- 22:19Speaker 2: you know what? Lauren Sanchez is up. She's like a
- 22:21Speaker 2: helicopter person. So I went on her, started following her.
- 22:24Speaker 2: And I was like, oh, this is kind of interesting.
- 22:25Speaker 2: And then, of course, then when she got with Jeff Bezos,
- 22:28Speaker 2: you know, I was like, oh, you should come on
- 22:30Speaker 2: Juicy Scoop and blah, blah, blah. Like, come on. I
- 22:33Speaker 2: was trying to get in there like Kris Jenner before
- 22:35Speaker 2: Kris Jenner. I wanted to be friends. I wanted to
- 22:38Speaker 2: be friends. I'm still scared to go to space. But
- 22:41Speaker 2: now that they've got, like, it'll just become one of
- 22:42Speaker 2: those things that, like, you know, people are scared of
- 22:44Speaker 2: self-driving cars. Eventually, there's going to be a lot of
- 22:49Speaker 2: self-driving cars and some people are not going to be
- 22:51Speaker 2: afraid to get in them anymore. And this is going
- 22:54Speaker 2: to be normal too.
- 22:55Speaker 3: I do think it was, I mean, look, you know,
- 22:57Speaker 3: you heard the recording of them screaming when the parachute.
- 23:00Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah.
- 23:01Speaker 3: I think that's nitpicking a little bit as somebody who
- 23:04Speaker 3: screams when he gets scared. I'm a jazz, I'm a
- 23:07Speaker 3: jazz hander. So like, like that kind of stuff I
- 23:09Speaker 3: think is nitpicking. But the whole thing was so tone deaf.
- 23:13Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 23:13Speaker 3: Like, I mean, people are like, the egg thing, by
- 23:17Speaker 3: the way, I can't hear another word about how expensive
- 23:20Speaker 3: eggs are.
- 23:21Speaker 2: I know. I'm kind of.
- 23:22Speaker 3: I get it. We all get it.
- 23:24Speaker 2: But I thought the eggs were expensive because there was
- 23:26Speaker 2: like a. Bird flu. Right.
- 23:27Speaker 3: Yeah. That's why.
- 23:29Speaker 2: It's not another reason, right? We're still coming off of that?
- 23:32Speaker 3: I don't know. I don't know where we're at with
- 23:35Speaker 3: the bird flu, but initially the eggs went up because.
- 23:38Speaker 2: Of the bird flu.
- 23:38Speaker 3: Yeah. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 23:39Speaker 2: I just think it's like something that people can throw
- 23:41Speaker 2: around like no matter what you do.
- 23:44Speaker 3: Do you think it would have been if he had
- 23:45Speaker 3: been like, okay, I know this is– and I never
- 23:48Speaker 3: am big on telling people how they can spend their money.
- 23:51Speaker 3: You spend your money however.
- 23:52Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 23:52Speaker 3: But what if he had been like, I am going
- 23:54Speaker 3: to fund this, but then I'm going to take this
- 23:58Speaker 3: equal amount of money and I'm going to put it
- 24:00Speaker 3: towards whatever.
- 24:01Speaker 2: I mean, I think he really does give a lot
- 24:03Speaker 2: of money to things. It's never going to be enough
- 24:05Speaker 2: for some people. It's like when somebody like a Kylie Jenner,
- 24:08Speaker 2: you know, gives– $ 100, 000 to a charity. Well, $ 100, 000 out
- 24:12Speaker 2: of a billion, oh, just shut up. It's a lot
- 24:14Speaker 2: of money, though. Right. It's just never going to be enough.
- 24:17Speaker 2: And so it's like, yeah, if this is something that
- 24:20Speaker 2: he wants to do and she gets to do it,
- 24:23Speaker 2: it's like, you know, like I said, it's the girl
- 24:27Speaker 2: with the, you know, the guy with, you have the
- 24:29Speaker 2: rich boyfriend.
- 24:30Speaker 3: Can you imagine marrying a billionaire?
- 24:32Speaker 2: I've hung out with some girls that are married to billionaires. And?
- 24:36Speaker 2: One is great. And one, it was very challenging to act,
- 24:41Speaker 2: to have to pretend like I wanted to talk to him.
- 24:44Speaker 2: And then they broke up. I mean, they broke up,
- 24:46Speaker 2: but like, it was like, yeah, you know, actually I was,
- 24:50Speaker 2: I was staying, I stayed at their houses, their house
- 24:53Speaker 2: a couple of times in La Quinta. And then they,
- 24:57Speaker 2: it was such an uncomfortable fight that I felt like
- 25:00Speaker 2: I was escaping, you know, like a mean dad at
- 25:03Speaker 2: a slumber party. Like it was just tension, even though
- 25:05Speaker 2: the house was like 8,000 square foot. And I was like,
- 25:09Speaker 2: I'm not going to stay the day. I'm going to leave.
- 25:10Speaker 2: And then that's when I left and then went to
- 25:15Speaker 2: this open house and then saw a lot. And then
- 25:19Speaker 2: I was like, why don't we get our own house here?
- 25:22Speaker 2: And then I don't have to act like I'm interested
- 25:26Speaker 2: in talking to this dick.
- 25:28Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 25:29Speaker 2: Because I was the girl. I was the Lauren Sanchez friend.
- 25:32Speaker 2: I mean, I'm just like, we could all admit there
- 25:35Speaker 2: we've all been that girl where you have to be like,
- 25:37Speaker 2: isn't he the greatest? Isn't he the sweetest? Oh, you're
- 25:40Speaker 2: so funny. And like, you're just like, and then every
- 25:43Speaker 2: time you go back, it's like the house looks a
- 25:45Speaker 2: little less nice. The stuff is like a little less fun.
- 25:49Speaker 2: And you're just like, oh, fuck it. Like this isn't
- 25:51Speaker 2: worth it.
- 25:51Speaker 3: If you're single, if you're single and someone is a billionaire,
- 25:55Speaker 3: how much leeway are you giving them for being a,
- 26:00Speaker 3: on the asshole spectrum. You're giving them a lot.
- 26:03Speaker 2: You're giving them a lot, at least the first couple times.
- 26:07Speaker 2: But that's the thing. Sometimes with those people, the friendships
- 26:13Speaker 2: don't last because everything gets old if they're really not
- 26:18Speaker 2: interesting people. I'm sure Jeff Bezos is interesting and fun.
- 26:22Speaker 2: I mean, I'm not saying he's not, but we've all
- 26:26Speaker 2: had to act like Because you're literally with your friend
- 26:29Speaker 2: and you're like, she's literally taking one for the team.
- 26:32Speaker 2: We all get to go to Cabo because our friend
- 26:34Speaker 2: is with that.
- 26:35Speaker 3: If you're sending me to space, I have to laugh
- 26:37Speaker 3: at your jokes.
- 26:38Speaker 2: A hundred percent. And be like, he's the sweetest. And he's, where's,
- 26:44Speaker 2: you know, where's the groomie? Like, you know, you have
- 26:46Speaker 2: to be like that. You know, you're not seeing her, Mr. Bezos.
- 26:52Speaker 2: You know, like.
- 26:53Speaker 3: You really do.
- 26:53Speaker 2: It's a lot of effort.
- 26:55Speaker 3: When people pay for vacations.
- 26:57Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 26:58Speaker 3: You have to.
- 26:59Speaker 2: Oh, you've been there.
- 27:00Speaker 3: Yeah. Yeah. But, you know, when people pay for vacation also,
- 27:04Speaker 3: there's a certain amount of latitude.
- 27:06Speaker 2: There's a little bit of a court jester situation. 100%.
- 27:09Speaker 3: 100%.
- 27:10Speaker 2: Of course.
- 27:10Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 27:11Speaker 2: The latest on Blake and Justin. Okay. A couple things.
- 27:18Speaker 2: They just came out with the Times 100 most influential. Yeah.
- 27:22Speaker 2: And Blake is on there. Now, the thing about this is.
- 27:25Speaker 3: Define influential then.
- 27:26Speaker 2: Well, they have like a couple categories where it's like artist, politics, whatever.
- 27:33Speaker 2: And it seems like someone has to like nominate you.
- 27:36Speaker 2: So it's like another actor would nominate you. Like Ali
- 27:39Speaker 2: Wong must have gotten it before. And then she nominated
- 27:43Speaker 2: Nikki Glaser, which I think is a good, you know,
- 27:46Speaker 2: like big year. Yeah. But then some of them just
- 27:50Speaker 2: are like, you know, whatever. There's not really even any
- 27:54Speaker 2: quote-unquote influencers. It's just a weird thing. It's just a
- 27:56Speaker 2: magazine to get people to read.
- 27:58Speaker 3: Is it something that PR people can buy?
- 28:00Speaker 4: Oh, yeah.
- 28:01Speaker 2: I mean, all this stuff you can buy. And the
- 28:03Speaker 2: same with the Most Handsome Men and whatever people magazine.
- 28:07Speaker 2: But what's interesting is that she got it, and she
- 28:10Speaker 2: has never been more disliked in her entire life. And
- 28:14Speaker 2: in the article, they bring up the fact that that
- 28:18Speaker 2: she was just so wonderful because in 2019, she and
- 28:22Speaker 2: her husband donated to the NAACP. And that, I believe
- 28:29Speaker 2: that was right after they got a lot of bad
- 28:31Speaker 2: press for getting married on a plantation. But it's 2025.
- 28:41Speaker 3: Yeah, your one highlight is six years ago you gave
- 28:44Speaker 3: to the NAACP.
- 28:46Speaker 2: Yeah. I only know this because my friend, Zach Peter,
- 28:50Speaker 2: has been covering this a lot, and I noticed his post,
- 28:53Speaker 2: and he highlighted that part. Oh, boy. And I'm like, oh,
- 28:56Speaker 2: my God. And so, yeah, I mean, and re- Also,
- 29:01Speaker 2: there was a time where Ryan Reynolds recently was in
- 29:04Speaker 2: some magazine. It was the same type of thing. They
- 29:06Speaker 2: brought up some really old story. So, yeah, it's all
- 29:10Speaker 2: a machine. Everyone's getting it. Everyone is just turned off
- 29:13Speaker 2: by this. But the other thing is she's doing Simple
- 29:18Speaker 2: Favor 2 with Anna Kendrick. And they were doing the press.
- 29:23Speaker 3: Did they shoot this? Did they shoot that? pre all
- 29:28Speaker 3: of this shit going down.
- 29:29Speaker 2: Well, definitely. Yeah. So I think it was done and
- 29:32Speaker 2: like in the can and then this came out. Now,
- 29:35Speaker 2: I liked the first one, but the first one was
- 29:37Speaker 2: like eight years ago. And so they're taking... some photos
- 29:40Speaker 2: on this press thing and I did not realize how
- 29:43Speaker 2: tiny Andrew Kendrick is so she's wearing these little heels
- 29:46Speaker 2: and I mean and then Blake I didn't realize how
- 29:49Speaker 2: tall she was and she's also wearing these tall boots
- 29:52Speaker 2: and then someone's like oh of course she'd wear these
- 29:54Speaker 2: high boots so she could make Anna feel smaller I'm
- 29:57Speaker 2: like I don't, like, come on. Now, some things you
- 30:00Speaker 2: just don't think about. You put an outfit together, you
- 30:02Speaker 2: maybe don't know what she's wearing. They're looking like they're nice,
- 30:06Speaker 2: but it looks a little awkward, whatever. But, yeah, so
- 30:11Speaker 2: that's just still going on. There isn't that many things.
- 30:14Speaker 2: It's just the updates are just people that are really
- 30:18Speaker 2: going deep dive. Like, there's this other girl I follow,
- 30:21Speaker 2: and Ryan Reynolds said in an interview that he... lit
- 30:27Speaker 2: his elementary school on fire.
- 30:30Speaker 3: What?
- 30:31Speaker 2: Yes.
- 30:31Speaker 3: As a child?
- 30:32Speaker 2: As a child. And then joked, it's fine, I can
- 30:35Speaker 2: say it now because, you know, the statutes of limitations
- 30:39Speaker 2: have passed. So this girl went into the deep dives
- 30:44Speaker 2: and been doing the deep dives for a long time
- 30:47Speaker 2: and found this elementary school that was actually caught on fire.
- 30:52Speaker 2: in Canada that corresponds with his age.
- 30:56Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 30:57Speaker 2: And that there really is no statute of limitations. And
- 31:02Speaker 2: all of this is alleged, alleged, alleged. Don't sue me, whatever.
- 31:05Speaker 2: I'm just telling you what I see on the internet.
- 31:07Speaker 2: I don't know. But I guess there's no statute of
- 31:11Speaker 2: limitations in Canada when it comes to arson. That's it.
- 31:14Speaker 3: A couple of things. I don't know if you know this,
- 31:17Speaker 3: but a long time ago when I was trying to
- 31:20Speaker 3: sell a TV show, I did a table read and
- 31:24Speaker 3: Ryan Reynolds played my brother.
- 31:27Speaker 2: Was this about your life?
- 31:28Speaker 3: Yes.
- 31:29Speaker 2: Okay. Tell everybody real quickly.
- 31:31Speaker 3: It was, it was, it was during two guys, a
- 31:33Speaker 3: girl and a pizza place.
- 31:35Speaker 2: Which he was a star of.
- 31:36Speaker 3: Yeah. And so that whole cast. So, um, what's her name? Phillips.
- 31:41Speaker 2: So you'd written the script. You had a pilot. We, we,
- 31:43Speaker 2: this was like, obviously if you get to this level,
- 31:46Speaker 2: it's quite promising at this point.
- 31:48Speaker 3: We, we did the table read. It was for ABC.
- 31:51Speaker 2: Okay.
- 31:51Speaker 3: So we just took the whole cast.
- 31:52Speaker 2: It was about your life.
- 31:53Speaker 3: It was about my life.
- 31:54Speaker 2: As a young dad.
- 31:56Speaker 3: Yes.
- 31:56Speaker 2: With three kids.
- 31:57Speaker 3: Okay. So, so I, that was when I look back
- 32:01Speaker 3: on that, I'm like, but I was like, well, this
- 32:03Speaker 3: young guy is pretty funny.
- 32:06Speaker 2: He has a very funny, distinct way of like delivering
- 32:12Speaker 2: and like, Kind of like the way, you know, Matthew
- 32:15Speaker 2: Perry delivered every line in Friends. I remember taking an
- 32:18Speaker 2: acting class and this guy goes, I see, I'm going
- 32:20Speaker 2: to just imitate Matthew Perry. Like, I'm just going to
- 32:23Speaker 2: follow the image. And even before Lisa Kudrow became Lisa Kudrow,
- 32:28Speaker 2: she came home from Vassar and her brother was friends
- 32:32Speaker 2: with John Lovitz. And she went to a Groundlings show
- 32:34Speaker 2: and she's like, I think I want to do that.
- 32:37Speaker 2: And she literally started watching sitcoms and kind of, she's
- 32:39Speaker 2: like so brilliant. She sort of studied the, like Keenan
- 32:44Speaker 2: talks about too, because he was engineering major. There is
- 32:46Speaker 2: a math to comedy. There is a cadence to comedy
- 32:51Speaker 2: that you can kind of study. You've got to be
- 32:53Speaker 2: inherently funny, but there is some work you can do.
- 32:56Speaker 2: And I feel like he kind of fit this, he's
- 33:00Speaker 2: gotten it, but now that they're getting such, there's so
- 33:04Speaker 2: many people that are, not feeling Blake and Ryan. Now
- 33:07Speaker 2: you're seeing that comedy. It's just getting like an old shtick.
- 33:10Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 33:11Speaker 2: But once you saw it 15 years ago, it was
- 33:15Speaker 2: really probably banging, banging.
- 33:17Speaker 3: This kid's got something.
- 33:19Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah.
- 33:19Speaker 3: For sure.
- 33:20Speaker 2: Continue, yeah. I.
- 33:22Speaker 3: My most hated type of person is a bully.
- 33:25Speaker 2: Uh-huh.
- 33:25Speaker 3: And they both seem like bullies.
- 33:27Speaker 2: Yes.
- 33:28Speaker 3: And that is like the biggest problem. I think when
- 33:31Speaker 3: they go to the press or when they set out
- 33:34Speaker 3: in public, No matter what they say at this point,
- 33:38Speaker 3: they're just seen as bullying this dude. And so even
- 33:43Speaker 3: when they're doing something good now, it's got this haze
- 33:46Speaker 3: over it of they're just doing it because they're trying
- 33:50Speaker 3: to look good. Anytime I see anything that they do,
- 33:54Speaker 3: any interview, all I can think of, oh, this is
- 33:57Speaker 3: just to try to look good. I think they need
- 33:59Speaker 3: to disappear for a while. That's the only thing that's
- 34:02Speaker 3: going to help them out. It's to go away. But
- 34:04Speaker 3: every time they try to defend themselves, they look terrible.
- 34:08Speaker 3: And he's the most likable person in the world.
- 34:13Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 34:13Speaker 3: So to make him look like an asshole, I want
- 34:16Speaker 3: a prediction from you.
- 34:17Speaker 2: Okay.
- 34:18Speaker 3: Do Ryan and Blake make it as a couple?
- 34:22Speaker 2: Well, months ago when this started, I said the only
- 34:26Speaker 2: way out of this for her is to say... My
- 34:32Speaker 2: husband got jealous because of our communication.
- 34:36Speaker 3: That's Beth's theory.
- 34:38Speaker 2: And I, after being married for 10 years to this guy,
- 34:41Speaker 2: I know how he works. I placated him and being
- 34:44Speaker 2: like jealous. The guy's fucking creeping me out. He's been
- 34:47Speaker 2: hitting on me. And that made him mad, which kind
- 34:50Speaker 2: of turned her on that. He like defended her. They,
- 34:53Speaker 2: he made fun of him in the Deadpool. They went
- 34:56Speaker 2: for it, all of it. And then when she thought,
- 35:00Speaker 2: or got word from the PR person that it looks
- 35:03Speaker 2: like they were doing a smear campaign because there was
- 35:05Speaker 2: a lot of bad press right after it came out
- 35:07Speaker 2: where people talking about, she was like a bitch on
- 35:09Speaker 2: set and didn't look people in the eye, blah, blah, blah.
- 35:11Speaker 2: So then, and then they, they went for it. They're like,
- 35:14Speaker 2: fuck them. And then Ari Emanuel, his, his firm or whatever,
- 35:19Speaker 2: William Morris, whatever it was, supposedly, you know, well did
- 35:24Speaker 2: let him go, fired him, Justin. Allegedly, He was a
- 35:30Speaker 2: guest on a podcast recently, a live podcast show. And
- 35:35Speaker 2: he admitted to that.
- 35:36Speaker 3: What do you mean allegedly? That should be on.
- 35:38Speaker 2: I know, but it's like, I just want to say it.
- 35:40Speaker 3: Okay.
- 35:41Speaker 2: Okay. So he was on a live podcast, a big one.
- 35:47Speaker 2: And it never, they, they've taped it, but they never
- 35:50Speaker 2: put it out. But people in the audience heard it
- 35:52Speaker 2: or whatever. And where he said it. yeah, I'm, I'm
- 35:56Speaker 2: team Ryan and Blake. We fired that asshole. Like right
- 35:59Speaker 2: when the first thing came out, when everybody was anti-Justin.
- 36:03Speaker 2: And since then, I think he has stepped down or
- 36:06Speaker 2: he's just like, he doesn't have the level that, you know,
- 36:08Speaker 2: because of this, but they try to like get that away.
- 36:12Speaker 2: So all these things are true in that, you know,
- 36:16Speaker 2: they just, they, they just went the wrong route and
- 36:19Speaker 2: they didn't, they didn't realize how damaged it would be.
- 36:21Speaker 2: So my thing is, When I first thought it that way,
- 36:24Speaker 2: she could say he, he said, and this is, and
- 36:28Speaker 2: people have husbands or wives that later on, they're like, God,
- 36:32Speaker 2: I didn't, I didn't want to get into this legal
- 36:35Speaker 2: thing with the gardener, but like my husband was so
- 36:37Speaker 2: pissed or whatever. And you just went along with it.
- 36:40Speaker 2: So I'm like, it could have been that she just
- 36:42Speaker 2: went along with it. That's what she would have had
- 36:44Speaker 2: to do real early on. Now I'm like, no, I
- 36:48Speaker 2: do think they're going to make it. I do. You do?
- 36:51Speaker 3: I don't think they're going to make it.
- 36:53Speaker 2: Okay, no, I take it back. I don't think they're
- 36:57Speaker 2: going to make it. Hold on, hold on, hold on.
- 36:58Speaker 3: This is what's going to happen. Okay, okay, okay, okay.
- 37:01Speaker 2: They're going to stick through this for the next year
- 37:03Speaker 2: and a half until it ends, if it goes that far.
- 37:06Speaker 2: Because by like August, they got to start doing the depositions,
- 37:09Speaker 2: which means the Taylor Swifts come and all these people
- 37:12Speaker 2: are going to have to like, and the Bradley Coopers
- 37:15Speaker 2: and share their text messages. Oh, the young girl that
- 37:19Speaker 2: played her, she supposedly, what I heard, I have not
- 37:22Speaker 2: checked myself, she has removed all the photos from her
- 37:26Speaker 2: Instagram with Blake. So she was all on Blake's side
- 37:29Speaker 2: and blah, blah, blah. And that was a weird thing
- 37:31Speaker 2: that they were so close because they never had a
- 37:32Speaker 2: scene together. There was a big age difference and she
- 37:35Speaker 2: was spending the night and she was lending her jewelry
- 37:37Speaker 2: and all this other stuff. To kind of get her
- 37:40Speaker 2: on her side.
- 37:40Speaker 3: That seems to be their MO.
- 37:42Speaker 2: Right, is to gather the friends.
- 37:44Speaker 3: But they do it months out in advance. They seem
- 37:48Speaker 3: to be, when you look at it, they seem to
- 37:50Speaker 3: really plan ahead for these attacks. So it's not like, oh,
- 37:54Speaker 3: you're my new friend from a week ago, but can
- 37:57Speaker 3: you vouch for me? They go months and months and
- 38:00Speaker 3: then six months later ask you, oh, by the way,
- 38:04Speaker 3: you're on my team, right?
- 38:06Speaker 2: And also the other thing is when she did my
- 38:09Speaker 2: favorite movie, The Town. Yes. About hot Boston.
- 38:12Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 38:13Speaker 2: My favorite, Ben Affleck.
- 38:15Speaker 3: You love that accent, don't you?
- 38:16Speaker 2: I love the Ben Affleck because it was like he
- 38:18Speaker 2: was a criminal.
- 38:19Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 38:19Speaker 2: But he was a really good boyfriend.
- 38:21Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 38:22Speaker 2: Okay. So she was like the townie. Yeah.
- 38:26Speaker 3: Oh, yeah.
- 38:26Speaker 2: That he was still screwing. So the rumor is, you know,
- 38:30Speaker 2: that they had something going on in real life.
- 38:33Speaker 3: Blake and Ben.
- 38:33Speaker 2: Yes. And in people are digging up old stuff. She says, I,
- 38:40Speaker 2: you know, right off the bat, we did the sex
- 38:42Speaker 2: scenes and everything to get us comfortable. And there's interviews
- 38:47Speaker 2: of him saying, oh, Blake and I drive around at
- 38:50Speaker 2: 2 a.m. in the morning to like so I can
- 38:52Speaker 2: show her the town. And this is when he's married
- 38:54Speaker 2: to Jennifer Garner. So there's that. Then there was when
- 38:59Speaker 2: she did the Green Lantern is when she got with,
- 39:03Speaker 2: or they say they didn't, but that's where they met.
- 39:06Speaker 2: He was with Scarlett Johansson. She was with someone else.
- 39:09Speaker 2: So the other theory is 10 years into marriage, four babies,
- 39:17Speaker 2: maybe he's spending way too much time with Wolverine. And
- 39:19Speaker 2: she's like, starts to do her flirty stuff. And, oh,
- 39:24Speaker 2: promise no teeth and all these kind of things when
- 39:26Speaker 2: they're going back and forth. And he's not interested. yeah
- 39:31Speaker 2: and and she's he's not interested and but then still
- 39:37Speaker 2: the messages and everything she plays that to get the
- 39:40Speaker 2: husband jealous Ryan and then gets him so jealous and
- 39:45Speaker 2: mad and nasty that he goes after so she kind
- 39:48Speaker 2: of gets it both She got rejected and then told
- 39:50Speaker 2: the boyfriend, I mean, told the husband, like, he's awful
- 39:54Speaker 2: and he's been, you know, harassing me and all this stuff.
- 39:56Speaker 2: But it doesn't make any sense because she grabbed, there's
- 40:00Speaker 2: another scene where she grabbed the Simple Favors package. And she's,
- 40:05Speaker 2: there's scenes where she's biting his lip, Justin Baldoni's, and
- 40:08Speaker 2: tying it. So I don't personally believe there was any
- 40:12Speaker 2: sexual harassment on set by Justin Baldoni.
- 40:16Speaker 3: I don't think there's any doubt that there wasn't.
- 40:18Speaker 2: Now tell your story. Tell me what you think or
- 40:21Speaker 2: what your wife Beth thinks.
- 40:23Speaker 3: Beth 100% thinks that Ryan was jealous.
- 40:26Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 40:26Speaker 3: Just like you said.
- 40:27Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 40:28Speaker 3: And I was like, how that dude would be jealous
- 40:31Speaker 3: of anybody? But she was like, and she thinks that
- 40:34Speaker 3: Blake seems like the type of person that would love
- 40:37Speaker 3: to lean into that and get the husband all fired up. Right?
- 40:41Speaker 2: I said he read the text on the kid's iPad.
- 40:43Speaker 3: Very possible.
- 40:44Speaker 2: Kid's iPad is... has been a problem in marriages for years.
- 40:48Speaker 3: Sure.
- 40:49Speaker 2: Because someone's cheating or someone's reading the text. It just
- 40:52Speaker 2: happened on the first episode of The Valley, season two
- 40:54Speaker 2: last night.
- 40:55Speaker 3: Heather.
- 40:56Speaker 2: Brittany says, Jack Scott cruises iPad and saw my text
- 41:00Speaker 2: because they were separated still and could get with other people,
- 41:04Speaker 2: but it made him go insane. It's the kid's iPad.
- 41:07Speaker 2: So that's what I think. Go on.
- 41:08Speaker 3: My iPad.
- 41:09Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 41:10Speaker 3: Jacob didn't, when he was like 15, he forgot that
- 41:15Speaker 3: he had set up all our devices and that every
- 41:19Speaker 3: picture that he took on his phone went to my iPad.
- 41:22Speaker 3: I had his dick pics on my iPad.
- 41:24Speaker 2: How old was he?
- 41:24Speaker 3: He was like 15.
- 41:25Speaker 2: And he's sending dick pics? 15 or 16.
- 41:27Speaker 3: I was like on my iPad, Heather. I'm on my iPad.
- 41:33Speaker 3: And I was like, do you know how alarming it
- 41:35Speaker 3: is to like see a picture of somebody else's dick
- 41:38Speaker 3: on your, I was just like, what the fuck? And
- 41:41Speaker 3: then I recognized the, the Ikea desk. In his room,
- 41:47Speaker 3: behind the dick. And I was like, oh, I built
- 41:49Speaker 3: that desk and that dick. Like, those are both— I' m responsible for.
- 41:53Speaker 2: Both of those. At least it wasn't popping up on
- 41:55Speaker 2: the Beth thing. Well, then— And, like, then she's cheating
- 41:58Speaker 2: with someone who also has an Ikea desk. And you're like,
- 42:00Speaker 2: if you're going to cheat with me, could you cheat
- 42:02Speaker 2: with someone a little richer? Like, why are you dealing
- 42:06Speaker 2: with an Ikea desk?
- 42:07Speaker 3: Here's a rumor I did want to ask you about. Yes.
- 42:09Speaker 3: And I'm so glad that you brought this up. Beth,
- 42:12Speaker 3: because Beth.
- 42:13Speaker 2: Oh, wait, wait. We're going off because I know people
- 42:15Speaker 2: are going to be mad. So finish your prediction.
- 42:18Speaker 3: Oh, my prediction is there's no way that they make
- 42:21Speaker 3: it through. I think they both.
- 42:23Speaker 2: But do they not make it through five years from
- 42:25Speaker 2: now or they don't make it through in the next
- 42:26Speaker 2: 18 months?
- 42:27Speaker 4: No, no, no.
- 42:28Speaker 3: It falls apart over the trial.
- 42:30Speaker 2: Okay.
- 42:31Speaker 3: Because I think what they love more than each other
- 42:36Speaker 3: is who they are in the world. And I think
- 42:38Speaker 3: the longer the trial goes on, the more they fight
- 42:41Speaker 3: with each other because the more they get bashed in public.
- 42:45Speaker 3: I think it's really hard for him because he's been
- 42:49Speaker 3: America's and Canada's sweetheart forever. He's such a charming, likable dude.
- 42:55Speaker 2: I also think he's kind of insecure about his looks now.
- 42:58Speaker 4: Yes.
- 42:58Speaker 2: Because he's not as cute. He's getting older. I did
- 43:01Speaker 2: see a picture of him where I was like, oh. Yeah,
- 43:04Speaker 2: because Justin Baldoni is like 10 years younger, very fit.
- 43:08Speaker 2: different different style everything and you know and there's been
- 43:14Speaker 2: scenes where he's like made a big deal out of
- 43:16Speaker 2: like the other guy's ass and like just being like.
- 43:19Speaker 3: Question what about so Beth brought something up to me
- 43:22Speaker 3: she was like have you heard because she was like
- 43:24Speaker 3: I hope they you and Heather talk about this yeah
- 43:26Speaker 3: ask her have you heard about the Ryan Reynolds making
- 43:29Speaker 3: out with dudes and all and that kind of rumor
- 43:33Speaker 3: about him.
- 43:33Speaker 2: I haven't heard him make out with dudes, but there's
- 43:35Speaker 2: obviously there's always a room. There's always a room about
- 43:38Speaker 2: any guy married or not that might be gay, especially
- 43:42Speaker 2: when you're an actor.
- 43:42Speaker 3: So she said there are like multiple occasions where he's
- 43:48Speaker 3: like to other guys, wouldn't it be funny if we
- 43:50Speaker 3: made out right now?
- 43:52Speaker 2: Hilarious.
- 43:53Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 43:54Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 43:55Speaker 3: Like, and she, I was like, one, she said, yeah,
- 43:57Speaker 3: I was, I was, she did. She said, I, saw
- 43:59Speaker 3: it on a video and then I started to research it,
- 44:02Speaker 3: but it would make, because I've always, I mean, no proof,
- 44:07Speaker 3: but if you were like, you had to bet your life,
- 44:10Speaker 3: if Hugh Jackman was straight or gay, I'd be like, Ooh,
- 44:14Speaker 3: I'd have to lean gay. So the fact then she
- 44:17Speaker 3: was like Ryan Reynolds. And I was like, Oh, this
- 44:19Speaker 3: makes sense. Why they're so close.
- 44:23Speaker 2: Yeah, but now everyone always thought Hugh Jackman was, you know, gay.
- 44:27Speaker 2: But he's now with this girl Sutton Strack. Not Sutton Strack.
- 44:30Speaker 2: She's from Beverly Hills. Sutton Foster. And that seems like
- 44:35Speaker 2: a real relationship. And that seems to be why his
- 44:37Speaker 2: wife of all those years left. Yeah. But, you know. I,
- 44:43Speaker 2: I don't know. There's so many, I find it fascinating.
- 44:45Speaker 2: That's why I, when people, I have taken a little
- 44:48Speaker 2: break from talking about it, but just more and more
- 44:51Speaker 2: comes up and it's just like, in some ways I
- 44:54Speaker 2: feel like they're perfect for each other. Like they're, they're
- 44:57Speaker 2: two like sociopaths that get together. I remember my sister
- 45:01Speaker 2: said that she's a criminal defense attorney and she said,
- 45:03Speaker 2: and I've said this a bunch on the shows, you
- 45:05Speaker 2: don't want to get two sociopaths together that might hate
- 45:10Speaker 2: you because then it's like worse. And I think, I
- 45:14Speaker 2: don't know if they're, but there's something, there's something that
- 45:17Speaker 2: is very similar about them. And then they have a
- 45:19Speaker 2: common enemy and this was an explosion. And I don't
- 45:24Speaker 2: think they thought it through all the, you know, I
- 45:27Speaker 2: don't think they really thought, okay, what is, I think
- 45:29Speaker 2: they were riled up there. There are people who are like,
- 45:32Speaker 2: we're going to fucking get them. This is an amazing
- 45:34Speaker 2: evidence of the text messages from the PR person. And
- 45:37Speaker 2: they never really thought, because we've all had those moments
- 45:39Speaker 2: where you're like, fuck that. Like, they took my idea
- 45:42Speaker 2: and da-da-da-da. And then you, like, have to take a
- 45:44Speaker 2: minute and you're like, what will this look like in
- 45:47Speaker 2: the press? How far would it go? Everything that I've
- 45:51Speaker 2: said and done on this podcast is going to be
- 45:53Speaker 2: brought up against me, da-da-da-da.
- 45:56Speaker 3: This is why I don't think they'll make it.
- 45:57Speaker 2: The fact that you don't think about it. Like, they
- 45:58Speaker 2: just did not think about it. Because now Justin and
- 46:01Speaker 2: his Wayfair producing partner, who I guess has all the
- 46:04Speaker 2: money in the world, they're not going to just go, okay,
- 46:07Speaker 2: give us 500 grand and we call it a day.
- 46:10Speaker 2: No way. It's going to have to be like 400
- 46:12Speaker 2: million or forget it.
- 46:13Speaker 3: This is why I don't think they'll make it. When
- 46:14Speaker 3: you bring up, not sociopaths, but whatever they are, they
- 46:17Speaker 3: do seem to have the same kind of narcissistic trait, right?
- 46:21Speaker 2: Right.
- 46:22Speaker 3: I think they've always been like untouchable and, and America's sweethearts.
- 46:27Speaker 3: And we love these people. And I think they've, they
- 46:31Speaker 3: love that so much as that starts to crumble. They're going,
- 46:35Speaker 3: I think, start to fight with each other.
- 46:37Speaker 2: Like, yeah, you made me do that. That's right. That's right.
- 46:40Speaker 3: He'll be like, you fucking, you told me that he
- 46:42Speaker 3: was blah, blah, blah. And she was like, well, I
- 46:44Speaker 3: didn't tell you to make fun of them in Deadpool.
- 46:46Speaker 3: And I think that's where the cracks start to happen.
- 46:49Speaker 3: Because at the end of the day, I think her
- 46:52Speaker 3: career for acting and new roles, especially with all the
- 46:56Speaker 3: stuff coming out about how she is on set and
- 47:00Speaker 3: trying to take control, I think it'll be harder for her.
- 47:04Speaker 3: He's box office great.
- 47:06Speaker 2: Do you imagine, though, the next time she's on set,
- 47:07Speaker 2: like if it was me, I'd be like, did I
- 47:10Speaker 2: look at everybody in the eye? I'd be like, having
- 47:12Speaker 2: my person, make sure you tell me every person, like
- 47:15Speaker 2: you're a vice president. Every person's name. Oh, the girl
- 47:18Speaker 2: that's emptying the bags of chips. Hi, Melissa, is your
- 47:21Speaker 2: dog okay?
- 47:22Speaker 3: Paying for the wrap party.
- 47:24Speaker 2: Oh my God, I'd be like, whose dog needs an operation?
- 47:28Speaker 2: Whose mortgage needs to be paid?
- 47:29Speaker 3: Do you need new teeth?
- 47:30Speaker 2: I need press like Keanu Reeves. Tell me what I
- 47:33Speaker 2: need to do to like, Ugh, and it would just
- 47:35Speaker 2: be exhausting.
- 47:36Speaker 3: I don't think she gets another chance on set for
- 47:39Speaker 3: a long time. She's not... Her name isn't bringing people...
- 47:43Speaker 3: It isn't bringing eyeballs. He will have another shot because
- 47:47Speaker 3: he's fucking really good. And he brings eyeballs. And he
- 47:51Speaker 3: actually can get people to a theater, which is crazy.
- 47:54Speaker 3: But he may have to disappear for a little while. Yeah, yeah.
- 47:56Speaker 3: He's just not as.
- 47:58Speaker 2: But if there's another Deadpool, I don't think the 15-year-old
- 48:01Speaker 2: boys care that he and his wife bullied... No. They
- 48:05Speaker 2: don't care.
- 48:06Speaker 3: And the comic book nerds don't care. And frankly, I
- 48:09Speaker 3: like the movies. I probably wouldn't go to the theater.
- 48:11Speaker 3: But yeah, I'm with you. But I'm with you. I
- 48:14Speaker 3: think if it goes to trial, I don't think... I
- 48:18Speaker 3: think the cracks in the armor start. I think they
- 48:20Speaker 3: make it through the trial.
- 48:21Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 48:21Speaker 3: Because it'll look really bad if they don't. But.
- 48:25Speaker 2: It's a long way off, though, if they don't settle.
- 48:27Speaker 2: It's a long way off.
- 48:28Speaker 3: How far off do you think?
- 48:29Speaker 2: It's like all the way, like, spring of 26th. It's
- 48:33Speaker 2: the trial date to start because.
- 48:35Speaker 3: How does Diddy go to trial sooner on criminal case
- 48:39Speaker 3: than this gets with civil?
- 48:40Speaker 2: Because I guess, you know, there's just... The attorneys are whatever.
- 48:45Speaker 2: I don't know why. It just is. That's the date.
- 48:48Speaker 2: I don't know why it's so far off.
- 48:50Speaker 3: I can't wait. Because they're just going to be repeating
- 48:53Speaker 3: old news until then.
- 48:55Speaker 2: Yeah, so that's why. Okay, so Amy Lee... would from
- 49:00Speaker 2: the SNL sketch. Someone said she was crying about something. No,
- 49:04Speaker 2: I wasn't crying because of that. I also saw that
- 49:06Speaker 2: the girl who played her, which I said when I
- 49:08Speaker 2: had Chris on, that's the girl that's going to suffer
- 49:11Speaker 2: the most. Like, fuck, why did I do this? And
- 49:14Speaker 2: I also said now anybody that was like getting their
- 49:17Speaker 2: teeth ready to do a TikTok video is probably not
- 49:20Speaker 2: going to. So I'm like, she's one line, you know, she's,
- 49:24Speaker 2: she's doing good. The girl, Amy, but she's supposedly she,
- 49:29Speaker 2: that actress sent her flowers. I don't know if that's true.
- 49:31Speaker 2: I don't like a daily mail thing, but when I
- 49:34Speaker 2: had Chris on, on Tuesday, I said, SNL did a
- 49:38Speaker 2: parody about Chelsea Lately.
- 49:40Speaker 3: I remember.
- 49:40Speaker 2: So thank you to the Juicy Scooper who found it
- 49:43Speaker 2: because it's very hard to find the YouTube stuff of
- 49:45Speaker 2: Chelsea Lately.
- 49:46Speaker 3: It's very good.
- 49:47Speaker 2: They scraped it all when the show ended. This one
- 49:52Speaker 2: was called Helga Lately.
- 49:53Speaker 3: I remember.
- 49:56Speaker 2: And it was Kate McKinnon is acting like You know,
- 50:01Speaker 2: instead of just saying we're going to do a parody
- 50:03Speaker 2: of Chelsea lately, but I mean, it's the purple, it's everything,
- 50:05Speaker 2: it's the music. They have, who is the guy that
- 50:09Speaker 2: plays in Portlandia?
- 50:11Speaker 3: Fred Armisen.
- 50:12Speaker 2: So he's playing Chewy. And then they have a guy
- 50:18Speaker 2: being like a flamboyant gay guy. They have, I thought
- 50:22Speaker 2: they had someone doing Lonnie Love, but no, it was Keenan,
- 50:25Speaker 2: Keenan Kell just being like a comedian. And not Keenan Kell, Keenan, what's?
- 50:29Speaker 3: Keenan Thompson.
- 50:30Speaker 2: Keenan Thompson. And then just some girl that they'd, so
- 50:34Speaker 2: then they would do all the, they'd be like, like
- 50:37Speaker 2: whatever Swedish. And then you just hear like, you know, vodka,
- 50:41Speaker 2: my vagina, my vagina, like just making fun of this, like, oh,
- 50:45Speaker 2: such low hanging fruit. These, these idiots on E right.
- 50:48Speaker 2: And then he's in the chair. being chewy but he
- 50:53Speaker 2: just sort of like looks like deformed like i was
- 50:56Speaker 2: like this is and but nobody's really laughing like the
- 51:00Speaker 2: audience isn't like yeah they literally did this sketch for
- 51:03Speaker 2: themselves because they were probably so probably this is what
- 51:06Speaker 2: i think happened okay writer a the writer's room is
- 51:09Speaker 2: there and they come by.
- 51:12Speaker 3: The way what year what year this was still when
- 51:14Speaker 3: we were on olympic Yes. Yeah, okay, okay, okay.
- 51:17Speaker 2: Yes, but it was like a solid year and a
- 51:19Speaker 2: half or two in.
- 51:21Speaker 3: I think maybe even a little more because I think
- 51:23Speaker 3: we had started to really get ratings and people were,
- 51:28Speaker 3: like I think it was more than two years in
- 51:30Speaker 3: because I think she had really started to take off
- 51:33Speaker 3: at the time.
- 51:33Speaker 2: Yeah. And I just know that they just are like,
- 51:37Speaker 2: oh my God, like how are they, who is watching
- 51:39Speaker 2: these idiots? And so this is what I think happened.
- 51:42Speaker 2: One of the writers that did stand up which is
- 51:45Speaker 2: why a lot of people started to hate us, is
- 51:48Speaker 2: it was just the best place to be a standup.
- 51:51Speaker 2: And she would always say, Josh is going to be
- 51:54Speaker 2: at the Chicago Improv, whatever. And then, but also some
- 51:59Speaker 2: of us that weren't really headliners before were now able
- 52:03Speaker 2: to get these gigs on the weekends that we could
- 52:05Speaker 2: do it. And so I'm like, I'm sure these bitter,
- 52:09Speaker 2: you know, male writers were like, fuck this dumb show.
- 52:14Speaker 2: It's so stupid. And who is this girl that just
- 52:17Speaker 2: talks about sex and vagina and dah, dah, dah, dah.
- 52:20Speaker 2: And that's of course how it got written, you know,
- 52:22Speaker 2: out of jealousy, whatever. And, um, so anyway, I saw
- 52:26Speaker 2: it and it really, and then they did like the
- 52:28Speaker 2: Swedish Kardashians and like the audience is like not laughing.
- 52:33Speaker 2: And so there's, there's like 200 comments. And the first
- 52:37Speaker 2: And they're all from like 11 years ago, okay? And
- 52:40Speaker 2: so the first comments are all like, oh, this Swedish was,
- 52:43Speaker 2: it's all Swedish people being like, this is pretty good,
- 52:46Speaker 2: or that's not really the right word for that. Like
- 52:48Speaker 2: it was, and then like the rest are like, oh
- 52:50Speaker 2: my God, these people don't get that this is like
- 52:52Speaker 2: a parody of Chelsea Lately that was on E. Like
- 52:54Speaker 2: it's so, it was fun. Do you remember her being upset?
- 52:58Speaker 2: Because I remember.
- 52:59Speaker 3: I don't remember her being upset. I think she was.
- 53:03Speaker 2: Good about it. I think she kind of just didn't
- 53:05Speaker 2: acknowledge it, which is what you should do.
- 53:07Speaker 3: But I do think when SNL, if you're in the
- 53:12Speaker 3: entertainment business and you get spoofed, it's almost to me
- 53:16Speaker 3: like an honor.
- 53:16Speaker 2: Oh, yeah.
- 53:18Speaker 3: And I understand this woman. I didn't see the sketch
- 53:20Speaker 3: about her teeth. Did you see it?
- 53:23Speaker 2: Just a little clip of it. Was it terrible? No,
- 53:25Speaker 2: it was just a small part. She kind of said
- 53:27Speaker 2: the parody was white POTUS and they did all the
- 53:31Speaker 2: Trump stuff. And then, so she was like, if it
- 53:34Speaker 2: was all political, why include me and my looks and,
- 53:39Speaker 2: you know, that kind of a thing. Yeah, I get it.
- 53:42Speaker 2: Someone in the comments said she has summer teeth. Summer
- 53:44Speaker 2: here and summer there. I never heard that. I've never
- 53:47Speaker 2: heard that. Whatever.
- 53:48Speaker 3: But she has to know, I mean, she's lived with
- 53:51Speaker 3: those teeth It's also, it's like Lauren Bacall.
- 53:55Speaker 2: Right, exactly.
- 53:55Speaker 3: It's what Michael Strahan. He said, I'm never going to
- 53:59Speaker 3: fix this gap. This is what makes me Michael Strahan.
- 54:02Speaker 2: Right.
- 54:02Speaker 3: And so those teeth are what will also get her roles.
- 54:07Speaker 2: Well, I mean, I honestly think all of this was good.
- 54:09Speaker 2: And I honestly think it was good that she did
- 54:13Speaker 2: share her feelings. It just made her that much more authentic. Yeah.
- 54:16Speaker 2: The only way to be authentic a sustaining personality or
- 54:20Speaker 2: star now is all being authentic. Obviously that's why people
- 54:24Speaker 2: are not enjoying the girls in space and why they're
- 54:27Speaker 2: not enjoying Blake, Blake Lively.
- 54:29Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 54:30Speaker 2: They, but her being like all sad about it. Yeah,
- 54:33Speaker 2: of course. Anybody that just is on a high and
- 54:36Speaker 2: then sees that, that someone's doing something that you're sensitive
- 54:40Speaker 2: about it. She's being honest. And she, she even said,
- 54:42Speaker 2: I don't, I have no ill will against the actress
- 54:45Speaker 2: who played me. I'm just saying like, it wasn't that funny.
- 54:47Speaker 2: And like, Could you have done something else? No, because
- 54:50Speaker 2: looks are what you do. Like, that's what we do.
- 54:53Speaker 2: And apparently, you know, SNL is not apologizing for it,
- 54:57Speaker 2: which is what they shouldn't. You just go to the
- 54:59Speaker 2: next show. You just don't bring it up. You don't apologize.
- 55:02Speaker 2: But I'm sure no one will ever do her again.
- 55:04Speaker 3: Did you watch, you watched this season of White.
- 55:07Speaker 4: Lotus, right?
- 55:08Speaker 2: Oh, yeah. I loved it. Well, I didn't love it.
- 55:11Speaker 2: I love the first one the most, Hawaii.
- 55:14Speaker 3: Yeah, I love Hawaii.
- 55:14Speaker 2: And then, of course, the second one got good second half. Yeah.
- 55:17Speaker 2: This one I thought was really slow on the get-go. Like,
- 55:20Speaker 2: I'd oftentimes fall asleep.
- 55:21Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 55:22Speaker 2: But I love when it's so rare now that a
- 55:25Speaker 2: show is pretty universal so that I can talk about
- 55:29Speaker 2: it and everyone's kind of getting it and that it's
- 55:31Speaker 2: once a week. So for that, I love it. And
- 55:34Speaker 2: I thought it was still great. I thought like Parker Posey.
- 55:36Speaker 2: I mean, I thought everybody acting was great.
- 55:38Speaker 3: Amazing. There were some things. This is the first season, though,
- 55:42Speaker 3: where some things just didn't add up. I was like, well,
- 55:44Speaker 3: that didn't kill you.
- 55:45Speaker 2: This guy killed my dad. So I'm in Hong Kong
- 55:47Speaker 2: now at 55. Like it doesn't make that story never
- 55:51Speaker 2: made sense to me. It seemed like a throwaway.
- 55:53Speaker 3: So I don't know what drugs Mike White has taken,
- 55:57Speaker 3: but there isn't a drug in the world that I
- 55:59Speaker 3: don't recognize my brother giving me a handjob. Right. That
- 56:03Speaker 3: is like, that is like the crazy, that was the craziest.
- 56:06Speaker 3: And then the discussion they had was don't do that again. Okay.
- 56:10Speaker 3: Like that's the, well, we're fighting for like 10 years.
- 56:13Speaker 3: Every time I see you, I'm punching you in the face. Like.
- 56:16Speaker 3: And by the way, I'm a people pleaser too. That
- 56:18Speaker 3: doesn't mean I'm giving my brother a handjob so he's happy.
- 56:22Speaker 2: That blew me away. Okay, I thought that was actually
- 56:26Speaker 2: kind of brilliant and funny. How? Because it was just funny,
- 56:29Speaker 2: because it made no sense. Because it made no sense.
- 56:32Speaker 2: So to say, I said, I'm like, I go, yeah,
- 56:35Speaker 2: so he was a people pleaser. I'm like, my sons
- 56:37Speaker 2: won't even wash each other's plate, let alone finish each
- 56:40Speaker 2: other off.
- 56:41Speaker 3: What a crazy excuse to give your brother a handjob.
- 56:44Speaker 3: And somebody was like, well, he was blackout drunk.
- 56:46Speaker 2: Okay.
- 56:47Speaker 3: Here's the deal. When you're blackout, you may not remember
- 56:49Speaker 3: what's happening, but you recognize human beings.
- 56:52Speaker 2: But how brilliant is it, though, that he did introduce
- 56:56Speaker 2: the most taboo storyline that got everyone talking? Because that's
- 57:01Speaker 2: the thing. It's like he got everyone talking.
- 57:03Speaker 3: Yeah, he did.
- 57:04Speaker 2: And you pick an actress that's not your typical yacht
- 57:06Speaker 2: girl dating an older guy.
- 57:08Speaker 3: I love that, by the way.
- 57:08Speaker 2: Like all that kind of stuff. So I do think
- 57:12Speaker 2: he's brilliant.
- 57:12Speaker 3: Who do you think comes back? who's the repeat guy
- 57:16Speaker 3: for the next season? Is it Greg again?
- 57:18Speaker 2: I think they'll like bring someone from like the Hawaii season. Oh,
- 57:22Speaker 2: for somebody like, or, or the, the, or people were
- 57:26Speaker 2: saying like, it would be great if like from the
- 57:27Speaker 2: Italian season, if the girl that clearly the kids were
- 57:32Speaker 2: clearly the trainer, her personal trainers, like if all of
- 57:35Speaker 2: a sudden she shows that like she's divorced and she's
- 57:37Speaker 2: with her trainer. Like, I think that's a way to get,
- 57:40Speaker 2: that's what, if I was the HBO exec, and I
- 57:43Speaker 2: could give any notes to Mike White, I'd be like,
- 57:45Speaker 2: do that because then everyone goes back and watches... all
- 57:49Speaker 2: of them again.
- 57:50Speaker 3: Yeah, that actually is smart.
- 57:51Speaker 2: To remind themselves and like, you know, and what's the
- 57:53Speaker 2: connection and trying to figure it out. So I think
- 57:56Speaker 2: there'll be like a couple surprises like that.
- 57:58Speaker 3: I did think the relationship between the three women was
- 58:01Speaker 3: brilliantly written. I thought that was brilliantly written. And how
- 58:05Speaker 3: they interacted and the roles that they thought they played
- 58:08Speaker 3: in the relationship. I thought that was like so human
- 58:11Speaker 3: and so real. And even though nothing happens in a
- 58:15Speaker 3: lot of those, it's like to me like the I
- 58:18Speaker 3: would say that about The Sopranos. I'm like, nothing happened,
- 58:21Speaker 3: but I could still watch it because it's so well-written.
- 58:24Speaker 2: Yeah, when it's just so good and sucked in, everyone's
- 58:26Speaker 2: watching it. I think it's great.
- 58:27Speaker 3: Would you want to be on White Lotus? Is that
- 58:29Speaker 3: the show out of all the shows on right now?
- 58:31Speaker 2: Well, you know, I talked to Jennifer Coolidge right before.
- 58:34Speaker 2: We didn't know she was going to die. And I
- 58:36Speaker 2: remember I talked to her on the phone and I
- 58:39Speaker 2: was just like, I can't believe I'm talking to you. And.
- 58:44Speaker 2: And then I don't know, I could never gotten hold
- 58:45Speaker 2: of her afterwards, but whatever. And she listens to Juicy
- 58:48Speaker 2: Scoop and she's like, you're kind of like a little genius,
- 58:50Speaker 2: the things that you think about and you figured out
- 58:53Speaker 2: a lot of shit. And she was like- Good voice
- 58:55Speaker 2: on that one. So then I go, how do you feel? Like,
- 58:58Speaker 2: this is like amazing. And she's like, you know what?
- 59:01Speaker 2: I wasn't, I didn't want to do that. I go, why?
- 59:04Speaker 2: Why wouldn't you want to do the first one? She goes,
- 59:06Speaker 2: because it was COVID and I was fucking fat and
- 59:09Speaker 2: they wanted me to do it. me to go to
- 59:10Speaker 2: Hawaii and be in a bathing suit. And she's like,
- 59:12Speaker 2: I'm like, ah. And then this girl that she's friends
- 59:15Speaker 2: with that I remember from back in the day was like,
- 59:18Speaker 2: you're crazy. You call Mike White right now and you
- 59:21Speaker 2: say you're going to do this. But that was the
- 59:23Speaker 2: whole genius is that he was like, what can we film?
- 59:27Speaker 2: during COVID and we can just go here and everyone
- 59:30Speaker 2: can be isolated. We can film this thing. But in
- 59:33Speaker 2: her mind, she was like, not like feeling it. And,
- 59:38Speaker 2: you know, so that, that's like a great lesson to learn. Like,
- 59:41Speaker 2: You should never like let some insecurity or where you're like.
- 59:45Speaker 3: For sure.
- 59:47Speaker 2: But yeah, I also think I'm fine if we do
- 59:50Speaker 2: full soap opera and she comes back as like her sister.
- 59:53Speaker 3: Oh, you go twin sister? Drake Ramore or whatever from Friends?
- 1:00:01Speaker 2: She comes and she's, you know, and also because I
- 1:00:05Speaker 2: believe Jennifer has, you know, gotten some work done since then.
- 1:00:09Speaker 3: Has she?
- 1:00:09Speaker 2: Yeah, everyone has. A little bit. I think so. Nothing
- 1:00:12Speaker 2: wrong with it. A little facelift, a little eye bleph, whatever.
- 1:00:16Speaker 2: Eye bleph? That's where you, like, if you have, like,
- 1:00:20Speaker 2: where your lid starts to come down, only certain eyes
- 1:00:24Speaker 2: have it. And so, anyway, I think she does. And
- 1:00:29Speaker 2: I think she could come as... Whatever.
- 1:00:34Speaker 3: A cousin or a sister?
- 1:00:36Speaker 2: Yeah, like a sister or something.
- 1:00:38Speaker 3: And she marries Greg again and she kills Greg?
- 1:00:40Speaker 2: Yeah, and she doesn't have to be that character. She
- 1:00:43Speaker 2: could be a whole other character with a different voice
- 1:00:45Speaker 2: and everything.
- 1:00:46Speaker 3: Beth and I, so going into the last episode, we
- 1:00:49Speaker 3: wrote down what we thought was going to happen.
- 1:00:51Speaker 2: How cute. And what was the result?
- 1:00:53Speaker 3: Not close.
- 1:00:54Speaker 2: Oh, neither of you.
- 1:00:55Speaker 3: I thought that the old guy was going to kill
- 1:01:00Speaker 3: Walton Goggins. Not the other way around. I thought he
- 1:01:03Speaker 3: was going to come and kill him. And that was
- 1:01:05Speaker 3: my guess. Or that the guard who did end up
- 1:01:09Speaker 3: shooting him, I did think he was going to shoot somebody.
- 1:01:11Speaker 3: But I thought he was going to shoot one of
- 1:01:13Speaker 3: the Russian guys. And Beth was way off. But I
- 1:01:18Speaker 3: like Shows like that where you can kind of.
- 1:01:20Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:01:21Speaker 3: No.
- 1:01:21Speaker 2: That's what I'm saying. Like it's just like there's so
- 1:01:23Speaker 2: few shows that like have that people are into all
- 1:01:27Speaker 2: watching and there's watch parties and stuff like that. There's
- 1:01:30Speaker 2: so many shows to watch and there's just so few
- 1:01:33Speaker 2: that are like a hit.
- 1:01:34Speaker 3: And there's so few now that make that you feel like, oh,
- 1:01:37Speaker 3: I got to watch it when it comes out.
- 1:01:39Speaker 2: Right.
- 1:01:39Speaker 3: I can't wait till the next day because then I
- 1:01:41Speaker 3: can't be on social media at all.
- 1:01:44Speaker 2: Right.
- 1:01:44Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah.
- 1:01:45Speaker 2: Like when we were coming home from something and I'm like,
- 1:01:47Speaker 2: don't look at your phone, don't look at your phone.
- 1:01:49Speaker 2: We're going to like watch it tonight.
- 1:01:50Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:01:52Speaker 2: Okay, a couple more topics. I filled you in on
- 1:01:54Speaker 2: the Karen Reid.
- 1:01:55Speaker 3: Yes.
- 1:01:56Speaker 2: Now that you are from Boston.
- 1:01:58Speaker 3: From Western Massacre.
- 1:01:59Speaker 2: Okay, I have to tell this theory about Karen Reid
- 1:02:02Speaker 2: that I just read.
- 1:02:03Speaker 4: Okay.
- 1:02:03Speaker 2: That someone put like in the comments somewhere. So the
- 1:02:08Speaker 2: guy had what appeared to be bite marks on him
- 1:02:14Speaker 2: and there was a what part of his body like
- 1:02:18Speaker 2: arms and there was a dog that was like I
- 1:02:23Speaker 2: think they put him down like right after this happened
- 1:02:27Speaker 2: because they all think that the people in the house
- 1:02:29Speaker 2: were covering for somebody or something and the dog had
- 1:02:35Speaker 2: like disciplinary problems so this person wrote this theory they
- 1:02:39Speaker 2: said why are they trying to pin the murder of
- 1:02:41Speaker 2: this cop on a, on a human. This is what
- 1:02:47Speaker 2: they thought. The dog attacked him and maybe no one
- 1:02:52Speaker 2: saw it or whatever. And he went running out, like
- 1:02:55Speaker 2: to get away from the dog, to try to get
- 1:02:58Speaker 2: in the car. She doesn't see that he's come out now.
- 1:03:02Speaker 2: He sees her leaving. So he starts to kind of run,
- 1:03:04Speaker 2: like be like, Hey, slips and falls. It was a
- 1:03:07Speaker 2: very snowy night, hits his head. and then is left
- 1:03:11Speaker 2: and dies. And nobody in the house knew that he.
- 1:03:14Speaker 3: What are the wounds?
- 1:03:16Speaker 2: There's so much.
- 1:03:17Speaker 3: Are they saying what he died from? Like, what are
- 1:03:20Speaker 3: the wounds on his body? Does he have a head injury?
- 1:03:23Speaker 2: Yeah, there's head injury. There's so much evidence. But right now,
- 1:03:26Speaker 2: they're going into the second trial. And a lot of
- 1:03:30Speaker 2: the things, what I said previously, is when there's a
- 1:03:34Speaker 2: mistrial and they do it again, it usually favors the prosecution, unfortunately. Mm-hmm. And,
- 1:03:42Speaker 2: you know, the judge is now saying a lot of
- 1:03:44Speaker 2: things I'm not going to allow in this trial that
- 1:03:48Speaker 2: they're trying to get in. That was, I think, valuable
- 1:03:51Speaker 2: to the first trial in her defense. Just like conversations
- 1:03:56Speaker 2: and pointing out certain cops that may have had an
- 1:04:00Speaker 2: issue with him that was in the house. Basically, her
- 1:04:03Speaker 2: theory was like, He went in the house and they
- 1:04:08Speaker 2: beat him up and he like either stumbled out or
- 1:04:10Speaker 2: they threw him out on the front. You know, and
- 1:04:15Speaker 2: then the other theory is, no, she either backed into
- 1:04:19Speaker 2: him because she was pissed and left or she backed
- 1:04:21Speaker 2: into him, didn't realize it, left, was kind of drunk,
- 1:04:25Speaker 2: went home, passed out, woke up in the morning, realized
- 1:04:27Speaker 2: he wasn't home, was like, is this fucker still drinking
- 1:04:29Speaker 2: at the house, went back to the house and then
- 1:04:31Speaker 2: saw him lying in the snow?
- 1:04:33Speaker 3: I mean, here's the unfortunate truth. is that, like, if
- 1:04:40Speaker 3: in that first trial they didn't have absolute evidence either way,
- 1:04:46Speaker 3: there's so much court of public opinion. Do you know
- 1:04:50Speaker 3: what I mean? Like, I don't know how you find
- 1:04:52Speaker 3: 12 people who have, especially in Boston.
- 1:04:55Speaker 2: Well, that's what happened, but that's what happened with the
- 1:04:57Speaker 2: Menendez brothers.
- 1:04:58Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah.
- 1:04:59Speaker 2: They did the first trial, you know, mistrial. They did
- 1:05:02Speaker 2: it again, and... Then they were like, we are winning
- 1:05:07Speaker 2: this one. We already lost the OJ. And then they
- 1:05:11Speaker 2: didn't allow all the testimony of the first, which is
- 1:05:13Speaker 2: why people think they should have another resentencing. And our
- 1:05:16Speaker 2: DA is saying no. He doesn't think so. But a
- 1:05:19Speaker 2: judge has said yes, I will accept hearing a resentencing
- 1:05:27Speaker 2: plea or something. Yeah. That would get them out.
- 1:05:30Speaker 3: So is there damage on this woman's car? Was there damage?
- 1:05:33Speaker 2: Yes, there was. And she was saying, but the damage
- 1:05:37Speaker 2: could have been from a previous thing that happened. And
- 1:05:41Speaker 2: then there's also, they believe the defense that a lot
- 1:05:45Speaker 2: of evidence and things were tampered with because there was
- 1:05:49Speaker 2: this cover up with all these cops. And then these
- 1:05:52Speaker 2: particular town has a reputation of a lot of like
- 1:05:57Speaker 2: corruption and stuff. of Bostonian cops.
- 1:06:00Speaker 3: Oh man.
- 1:06:01Speaker 2: I mean, she, anyway, I also heard she's a juicy scooper.
- 1:06:04Speaker 3: Oh, is she?
- 1:06:04Speaker 2: Karen Reed.
- 1:06:06Speaker 3: That would be amazing. How have you got her on her?
- 1:06:08Speaker 2: I a hundred percent don't. If I was on the jury,
- 1:06:13Speaker 2: there's no way I would say you're guilty because I
- 1:06:16Speaker 2: don't know who did it, but I don't think even
- 1:06:21Speaker 2: if she, even, even if I had a thought that
- 1:06:24Speaker 2: she may have backed into him and whatever and left,
- 1:06:29Speaker 2: I still feel like there isn't enough evidence to know
- 1:06:31Speaker 2: either way. But there's no way she intentionally, in my opinion,
- 1:06:35Speaker 2: no way she intentionally got pissed and backed into him
- 1:06:39Speaker 2: and let him die. So for me, there's no premeditation.
- 1:06:43Speaker 3: Was there marital issues?
- 1:06:45Speaker 2: Just like they had a real boozy night and they
- 1:06:48Speaker 2: were boyfriend and girlfriend and there was flirtation going on
- 1:06:52Speaker 2: and there was maybe some infidelity on both sides. But
- 1:06:55Speaker 2: then they also were kind of like, a pretty cohesive
- 1:07:00Speaker 2: unit because he, his, he inherited, not inherited, but he
- 1:07:04Speaker 2: got custody of a sibling who'd passed. So he had
- 1:07:08Speaker 2: like two kids that he was raising and she was
- 1:07:10Speaker 2: very step mom-ish and they had like a nice situation going.
- 1:07:14Speaker 2: But when you really explore the marriage, yeah, there was,
- 1:07:17Speaker 2: you know, Oh, text message found and flirting and we
- 1:07:20Speaker 2: broke up this one week and whatever.
- 1:07:22Speaker 3: Is there, in order to get a new trial and
- 1:07:24Speaker 3: I don't know what, I don't know enough about it.
- 1:07:25Speaker 3: Do you have to have new evidence?
- 1:07:27Speaker 2: No, it's just that the jury said we can't come
- 1:07:30Speaker 2: to a decision.
- 1:07:31Speaker 3: So you don't need new evidence to have a new trial.
- 1:07:35Speaker 2: Well, no, if you got convicted.
- 1:07:37Speaker 3: No, in a mistrial. So there's a mistrial to get
- 1:07:40Speaker 3: another trial as the prosecution get another trial. You don't
- 1:07:43Speaker 3: need new evidence. You just need a new jury.
- 1:07:45Speaker 2: You need a new jury. But yeah, but then you
- 1:07:48Speaker 2: kind of get to do it again.
- 1:07:50Speaker 3: And you get to see the holes in your case.
- 1:07:52Speaker 2: Exactly.
- 1:07:54Speaker 3: It's fucked up, though. Same judge. Because it's fucked up
- 1:07:57Speaker 3: that they would not allow.
- 1:07:58Speaker 2: Certain- I don't know. That's a good answer. I think
- 1:08:01Speaker 2: it might be a different judge. I'm sure there's going
- 1:08:03Speaker 2: to be a million people correcting me. I'm not following
- 1:08:07Speaker 2: everything on earth, people. All right, Josh, let's wrap it up.
- 1:08:12Speaker 2: Tell everybody all the fun places to find you guys.
- 1:08:16Speaker 3: Every Monday night, I have a residency in Vegas at
- 1:08:20Speaker 3: Kimmel's Comedy Club. It's the most fun I have because
- 1:08:24Speaker 3: I can do whatever I want. Jacob and I are
- 1:08:26Speaker 3: on the road. We're at ComedianJoshWolf.com. I just shot my
- 1:08:30Speaker 3: second comedy music special, which is like my favorite thing.
- 1:08:35Speaker 3: It's called the Campfire Special. But I love playing the
- 1:08:37Speaker 3: guitar on stage.
- 1:08:38Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:08:38Speaker 3: And the songs are so ridiculous and so silly and
- 1:08:41Speaker 3: so fun. And we had a lot of amazing guest
- 1:08:45Speaker 3: singers come stop by because I shot it in Nashville.
- 1:08:48Speaker 3: So that'll be out over the summer. And then ComedianJoshWolf.com.
- 1:08:51Speaker 3: I'm in Michigan this... coming month and I'm in Ohio.
- 1:08:55Speaker 3: I'm in a bunch of different places. But the shows
- 1:08:57Speaker 3: are amazing. Jacob and I he does like 15 minutes
- 1:09:02Speaker 3: and I do like 60. And then we do a
- 1:09:04Speaker 3: Q & A, which is a ton of fun. Then
- 1:09:06Speaker 3: we do some music.
- 1:09:06Speaker 2: Yeah, the clips are great too. So everyone follow you.
- 1:09:09Speaker 3: I appreciate it. And I love coming down here. Mostly,
- 1:09:13Speaker 3: I just like coming down and reconnecting with you. I've
- 1:09:16Speaker 3: known you for so long.
- 1:09:18Speaker 2: When you used to run the union.
- 1:09:20Speaker 3: I've known you for so, so very long. I've known
- 1:09:23Speaker 3: you when people used to be like, is that your?
- 1:09:27Speaker 3: I'm like, no, no, no. Because when people used to
- 1:09:30Speaker 3: think when I first started dating Beth, they were like,
- 1:09:32Speaker 3: is that that comedian? I was like, no, that's not that.
- 1:09:35Speaker 2: Yeah, because Beth and I look like we could be related.
- 1:09:37Speaker 2: They were like, is that that comedian?
- 1:09:38Speaker 3: I'm like, no, that's not Heather. But we've known each
- 1:09:41Speaker 3: other for so long. And so I couldn't be happier
- 1:09:43Speaker 3: for you and your success.
- 1:09:44Speaker 2: And you too.
- 1:09:45Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:09:45Speaker 3: And I loved seeing you guys at the Master's. You
- 1:09:49Speaker 3: guys were definitely there for different reasons. He probably had
- 1:09:51Speaker 3: a golf boner the entire time.
- 1:09:54Speaker 2: He's so excited right now. He is golfing at Riviera.
- 1:09:58Speaker 2: His friend invited him to celebrate the friend's birthday. And
- 1:10:03Speaker 2: he had all the master bags set up like a
- 1:10:06Speaker 2: real housewife. He got gifts for everybody.
- 1:10:09Speaker 3: He brought gifts for everyone?
- 1:10:10Speaker 2: Yeah, everyone got like a hat. And everyone got a towel.
- 1:10:14Speaker 2: I go, is this for a sweaty golfer? Is this
- 1:10:15Speaker 2: to like clean your thing? Everyone got a towel. Everyone
- 1:10:19Speaker 2: got a hat. And then I go, oh, let me
- 1:10:22Speaker 2: film this. And he goes, no, because my friend follows you.
- 1:10:24Speaker 2: Don't post it yet. How cute is that? So, yeah,
- 1:10:28Speaker 2: it really was fun for him. And he has all
- 1:10:30Speaker 2: the clothes and he looks cute. And it was. I
- 1:10:33Speaker 2: had very low expectations. I was like, how am I
- 1:10:35Speaker 2: going to watch golf for three days? And it was
- 1:10:37Speaker 2: so fun. I loved it.
- 1:10:38Speaker 3: It's because it's a, it's like a thing.
- 1:10:41Speaker 2: It was super fun.
- 1:10:42Speaker 3: Yeah. But the food there wasn't the, was not the best.
- 1:10:45Speaker 2: No, I loved the food.
- 1:10:46Speaker 3: When I went with my dad, the food was not great.
- 1:10:48Speaker 2: Oh, well the food was fun and great. And you know, yeah,
- 1:10:51Speaker 2: I liked, I just liked it. And like, I liked
- 1:10:54Speaker 2: the walking. I liked the sitting. I liked it all.
- 1:10:56Speaker 3: My dad, not a super, you know, guys from, our
- 1:11:01Speaker 3: dad's generation that's super emotional.
- 1:11:03Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:11:04Speaker 3: And I brought him on his bucket list was going
- 1:11:07Speaker 3: to the masters. And a couple of years ago I
- 1:11:08Speaker 3: got to bring him there and we, the whole day
- 1:11:11Speaker 3: he didn't really talk. He just watched golf. Yeah. It's
- 1:11:15Speaker 3: didn't talk. And there were days, there were times cause
- 1:11:17Speaker 3: we couldn't have our phones.
- 1:11:18Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:11:18Speaker 3: Right. Lose them. And I was like, what? I was like,
- 1:11:21Speaker 3: you can't walk off, dude. I can't, you have to
- 1:11:23Speaker 3: stay near me. And we didn't talk for most of
- 1:11:25Speaker 3: the day. So I was like, is he having a
- 1:11:27Speaker 3: good time? And we walked out of that first day.
- 1:11:31Speaker 3: He gave me the deepest hug. And he said.
- 1:11:36Speaker 2: Just like he was roaring, giving it to Justin's wife.
- 1:11:40Speaker 3: But he was like, thank you so much for this.
- 1:11:42Speaker 3: And it was such a.
- 1:11:44Speaker 2: That's so awesome.
- 1:11:45Speaker 3: It was such a great memory. Just being there, not
- 1:11:49Speaker 3: only because of the Masters, but to be able to
- 1:11:52Speaker 3: do that for him was so crazy.
- 1:11:54Speaker 2: And then you got these tickets because you were on
- 1:11:57Speaker 2: a big, you were on a rise to be a
- 1:11:59Speaker 2: big TV star.
- 1:12:00Speaker 3: Yeah. I was, I'm not getting those tickets now, but.
- 1:12:04Speaker 2: That's what's so good about all those opportunities that came,
- 1:12:07Speaker 2: whether it was hanging out with a friend and the
- 1:12:10Speaker 2: rich billionaire, you know, boyfriend, husband.
- 1:12:13Speaker 3: Shoots you up in space.
- 1:12:14Speaker 2: Right. Or whatever it is. I'm like, I would always
- 1:12:18Speaker 2: be like, I don't know how long this is going
- 1:12:20Speaker 2: to last. You should take advantage of these opportunities and,
- 1:12:23Speaker 2: And not ever just be like, eh, I'm too tired
- 1:12:25Speaker 2: or I'm burnt out. Like, go, go, and go. Because, yeah,
- 1:12:29Speaker 2: it's important that you do these things in life.
- 1:12:32Speaker 3: Absolutely. And did Drake want to go? Was he jealous?
- 1:12:35Speaker 4: Yes.
- 1:12:36Speaker 3: Because he's a golf guy, right? Yes.
- 1:12:38Speaker 2: I mean, he was happy for us, but he was, yeah,
- 1:12:40Speaker 2: he was jealous. And it's like, someone's like, would you
- 1:12:43Speaker 2: go again? And I go, yeah, like if the opportunity
- 1:12:45Speaker 2: comes up again and we are able to do it,
- 1:12:48Speaker 2: it would be very fun to take him because he
- 1:12:50Speaker 2: would have such a great, appreciation and be excited for it.
- 1:12:54Speaker 3: Did he say, why is mom going? She doesn't even
- 1:12:55Speaker 3: like golf.
- 1:12:56Speaker 2: Well, I'm the connection of why we went. So it's like,
- 1:13:00Speaker 2: without Heather Goodtime, nobody eats.
- 1:13:03Speaker 3: And how were the outfits of the people watching the Masters?
- 1:13:08Speaker 4: Classy.
- 1:13:08Speaker 3: Some people dressed. Some people, I was like, oh, they
- 1:13:11Speaker 3: came dressed for this.
- 1:13:12Speaker 2: Dressed. Like, I just remember this one lady had, like,
- 1:13:14Speaker 2: these really big green, like, very spashable, like, Gucci glasses.
- 1:13:19Speaker 2: You could tell she was, like, really wealthy. But No,
- 1:13:21Speaker 2: all the outfits I thought were really, really classy. Once
- 1:13:25Speaker 2: in a while you'd see just like an outfit that
- 1:13:28Speaker 2: just didn't work, but it was like really rare. Like,
- 1:13:31Speaker 2: you know, like I got someone wearing like a Kiss t-shirt.
- 1:13:33Speaker 2: You're like, what are you doing? That was like one
- 1:13:35Speaker 2: in like thousands. Like most everybody had like golf tire
- 1:13:39Speaker 2: on and like pretty nicely dressed and like a little
- 1:13:42Speaker 2: more conservative, but put together. And that's, it was just
- 1:13:45Speaker 2: very nice.
- 1:13:46Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:13:47Speaker 2: Well, thank you, Josh. Love you.
- 1:13:49Speaker 3: Love you. Thank you so much for having me.
- 1:13:52Speaker 2: One reward.
- 1:13:53Speaker 3: Endless choice. Skip the hassle, reward the easy way.
