- 0:00Speaker 1: Three things you need to know.
- 0:02Speaker 2: Well, all right, Monday morning, here we go, a brand
- 0:04Speaker 2: new week starts right now.
- 0:05Speaker 3: Thanks for starting with us. Ricky Sanchez has those three things.
- 0:08Speaker 4: I actually think.
- 0:09Speaker 5: I'm going to happily watch the Emmys this year because
- 0:12Speaker 5: it's been announced that Eugene and Dan Levy are going
- 0:14Speaker 5: to host Love. If you don't know who they are, obviously,
- 0:17Speaker 5: Eugene's been around for a while in the industry. Dan
- 0:20Speaker 5: and him both together were in Bleep's Creek. That's since
- 0:24Speaker 5: they can't actually say the word, but they're in Bleep's
- 0:27Speaker 5: Creek created it together. They're a father son duo, which
- 0:29Speaker 5: is pretty cool. They're going to They've already made history
- 0:32Speaker 5: as a first father and son to win Emmys in
- 0:34Speaker 5: the same year for their work on Bleep's Creek, so
- 0:37Speaker 5: now they're going to do that again. They're going to
- 0:39Speaker 5: be in the history books for being the first father
- 0:41Speaker 5: son duo to host the Emmys together, which is really
- 0:44Speaker 5: cool and really adorable. The Emmys are going to happen
- 0:47Speaker 5: September fifteenth on ABC.
- 0:48Speaker 4: You can watch them there.
- 0:50Speaker 5: We're getting another Tim Morton's that is planned for Middle Tennessee.
- 0:53Speaker 5: This is going to be the third Tim Morton's location
- 0:55Speaker 5: that's planned, this time in Donaldson. Earlier this year, Tim
- 0:59Speaker 5: More announced two Moundubliet locations were in the works. We
- 1:03Speaker 5: don't have any opening date yet for the one in Donaldson,
- 1:05Speaker 5: so I will keep you posted, but they are planning
- 1:08Speaker 5: a lot more locations here in Middle Tennessee. It seems
- 1:11Speaker 5: like this is the hot spot and the mecca for
- 1:13Speaker 5: all of these chain restaurants and coffee places in Vince.
- 1:17Speaker 3: I agree with You're getting all the in and outs
- 1:18Speaker 3: and everything. It's really blowing up.
- 1:20Speaker 4: Really wild.
- 1:21Speaker 5: And Craft is launching two new mac and cheese flavors.
- 1:24Speaker 5: So after receiving feedback that people wanted new, fun, different flavors,
- 1:28Speaker 5: they tried out twenty seven different ones. They used forty
- 1:31Speaker 5: different concepts to pick these two flavors.
- 1:33Speaker 4: Okay, so we're getting jalapegno and a ranch.
- 1:36Speaker 5: I like that. They started to roll them out across
- 1:38Speaker 5: the country so you can find them at any grocery
- 1:41Speaker 5: store that you can find Craft items typically and try
- 1:43Speaker 5: out Lapenno and rich Amricky Sanchez, and those are the
- 1:46Speaker 5: three things you need to know.
- 1:48Speaker 3: One s five of the River, Ricky Zach and manow
- 1:50Speaker 3: In the morning.
- 1:51Speaker 4: You're looking for plans this weekend.
- 1:52Speaker 5: The first color of the day on one oh seven
- 1:54Speaker 5: five the River is getting tickets to music City Brewers fast.
- 1:57Speaker 3: It's happening on Saturday.
- 1:58Speaker 2: Yeah, this Saturday Walk of Park. We got that right now.
- 2:01Speaker 2: For the first caller, we have this all week as well.
- 2:03Speaker 2: Six one, five, seven, three, seven, nine, one oh seven.
- 2:05Speaker 2: Gonna have like over forty breweries out there, live music.
- 2:09Speaker 3: He sucks all the stuff. First caller that day. If
- 2:12Speaker 3: you want it, it's yours one River, Ricky, Zach and
- 2:17Speaker 3: Mannow in the morning.
- 2:18Speaker 4: Morning, it's one of seven, five the River. Who's this?
- 2:21Speaker 3: Candace?
- 2:21Speaker 4: Candace? Where are you calling from?
- 2:23Speaker 6: Sarna?
- 2:24Speaker 5: Candace is Smyrna. It almost sounds like you're whispering. Candace.
- 2:28Speaker 7: No, sorry, I keep your voice.
- 2:31Speaker 6: I'm heading to school.
- 2:32Speaker 3: You gotta get you gotta get ready for what grade
- 2:34Speaker 3: do you teach?
- 2:35Speaker 4: Candace?
- 2:35Speaker 7: Second grade?
- 2:36Speaker 3: Okay, we just had a second grade teacher, I think
- 2:38Speaker 3: on Friday. For the first caller. It's such a great.
- 2:40Speaker 7: Age, Yes it is.
- 2:42Speaker 6: It's wonderful.
- 2:43Speaker 5: I also just love that you have a teacher voice,
- 2:45Speaker 5: because I think the number one thing that we get
- 2:47Speaker 5: asked all the time is like, oh, what's your radio voice,
- 2:50Speaker 5: which is just the same voice that we have.
- 2:52Speaker 7: Right, I've learned whispering gets more attention than writing your voice,
- 2:56Speaker 7: so wish that's.
- 2:57Speaker 3: A great tips.
- 3:00Speaker 2: You know, as a parent, I have two kids, I
- 3:02Speaker 2: wonder how I mean this goes without saying, but teachers
- 3:04Speaker 2: just have the superpower of getting a room full of
- 3:07Speaker 2: twenty kids to actually listen to them.
- 3:09Speaker 3: I can't get two kids to listen to me. So
- 3:11Speaker 3: I guess whispering is part of this.
- 3:12Speaker 7: Is they're the key. It says, if you can hear me,
- 3:16Speaker 7: touch your nose, and I'm telling you, it's better than hey, listen.
- 3:20Speaker 4: Yeah, all right, good tidbit.
- 3:23Speaker 7: It worked.
- 3:24Speaker 3: That's so smart.
- 3:25Speaker 5: All right, well, Candice, I know obviously you're going to
- 3:27Speaker 5: have a long week. Second grade is amazing and also tough.
- 3:30Speaker 5: So this weekend we're very excited to say you are
- 3:33Speaker 5: the first color of the day on one oh seven
- 3:34Speaker 5: five the River he gets to Music City first best.
- 3:37Speaker 1: Oh, my husband will love it.
- 3:39Speaker 2: Thank you so much, You're welcome, first caller of the
- 3:41Speaker 2: week technically, so congratulations.
- 3:43Speaker 7: Oh, thank you so much. I appreciate it.
- 3:45Speaker 4: You're so welcome.
- 3:46Speaker 2: You deserve fifty to sixty dranks after a long week
- 3:50Speaker 2: and second grade.
- 3:52Speaker 7: Oh well, I genuinely do appreciate it. That's so exciting
- 3:55Speaker 7: something to look forward to do at the end of
- 3:57Speaker 7: the week.
- 3:57Speaker 3: Yeah, we appreciate you, We really do.
- 3:59Speaker 2: You hang out on the line not only for listening,
- 4:01Speaker 2: but for for teaching as well, because that's a calling.
- 4:03Speaker 3: Hang on, so we get some info from you. Okay,
- 4:05Speaker 3: you sweetheart.
- 4:08Speaker 4: That was nice.
- 4:09Speaker 3: That was great. I love that We're gonna have these
- 4:11Speaker 3: again tomorrow and all week. I'm blushing.
- 4:12Speaker 4: I was gonna say this spot like Kevin's face right now.
- 4:16Speaker 1: Ricky is Zach and Mano in the morning on the river.
- 4:21Speaker 3: We're here Friday.
- 4:22Speaker 2: About this time, Ricky mentioned upcoming confrontation face to face
- 4:26Speaker 2: with her old high school bully.
- 4:28Speaker 4: One of them.
- 4:28Speaker 5: Yeah, because she's dating my dad.
- 4:30Speaker 3: That's true.
- 4:31Speaker 5: And I was at a wedding that they were also
- 4:33Speaker 5: at and sitting at the same table.
- 4:36Speaker 3: All right, we're gonna get the full report here.
- 4:38Speaker 2: How it went Ricky and her old high school bully
- 4:40Speaker 2: who happens to be dating her dad.
- 4:42Speaker 3: All true?
- 4:43Speaker 4: Yep, can't make this up.
- 4:45Speaker 3: Promise so many minutes.
- 4:46Speaker 2: We'll play Hozier after Taylor and then get the story
- 4:47Speaker 2: from Ricky on the River.
- 4:49Speaker 1: Ricky is Zach and Mano in the morning on the river.
- 4:54Speaker 2: All right, this is an exciting one. Gather around the radio.
- 4:56Speaker 2: This is like straight from Jerry Springer or so. Then
- 4:58Speaker 2: I just loved this story so much. It's one O
- 5:01Speaker 2: seven to five the river. Ricky set the table for
- 5:03Speaker 2: us again wedding this weekend.
- 5:05Speaker 4: So this weekend I was at a wedding. It was
- 5:07Speaker 4: a big deal obviously because two of my.
- 5:08Speaker 5: Favorite people were getting married, but also a big deal
- 5:10Speaker 5: for me personally because I was going to for the
- 5:14Speaker 5: first time be in the same vicinity of my dad
- 5:18Speaker 5: and his girlfriend. Which doesn't sound that strange for most people,
- 5:21Speaker 5: but my dad is dating a girl who I went
- 5:23Speaker 5: to high school with who used to bully me.
- 5:26Speaker 3: Totally true, one.
- 5:27Speaker 4: Hundred percent factual.
- 5:28Speaker 5: My dad dates younger, which is whatever, but he chose
- 5:31Speaker 5: my bully this time. So they've been dating for like
- 5:34Speaker 5: two years at this point, we've never spent time together
- 5:37Speaker 5: all in one area. Because I just feel like that's
- 5:40Speaker 5: kind of strange.
- 5:41Speaker 2: I know you were worried about that, Like before the holidays,
- 5:44Speaker 2: we were like, oh, it is Ricky going to come
- 5:45Speaker 2: face to pace with the bully.
- 5:46Speaker 3: But that really didn't happen. It didn't happen until this weekend.
- 5:48Speaker 4: I think on purpose it didn't happen.
- 5:50Speaker 5: So this weekend there was no avoiding it, and especially
- 5:53Speaker 5: no avoiding it because we were all sitting at the
- 5:54Speaker 5: same table at the wedding. Yeah, which makes sense. I
- 5:58Speaker 5: mean you would put a dad in the daughter kid
- 6:01Speaker 5: together at a table. So I was wondering if anything
- 6:04Speaker 5: was going to be said or done. I was really
- 6:06Speaker 5: hoping that nothing would, because obviously a wedding is not
- 6:09Speaker 5: the time or the place for us to be having
- 6:10Speaker 5: conversations about something like this. And I will say I
- 6:14Speaker 5: am very proud of myself because I have grown so
- 6:18Speaker 5: much when it comes to things like this. I was
- 6:20Speaker 5: completely unbothered, unfazed. We all got along, It was all
- 6:24Speaker 5: totally fine. I didn't speak much to her except for
- 6:28Speaker 5: when we were all kind of in groups, and I
- 6:30Speaker 5: think that was also on purpose on her end, which
- 6:34Speaker 5: is fine, and.
- 6:35Speaker 4: I was totally cool with that.
- 6:37Speaker 5: There were like two moments where the two of us
- 6:39Speaker 5: were left alone, and it was very awkward and very strange,
- 6:42Speaker 5: but we made it through and nothing got dicey.
- 6:45Speaker 3: Or rude or your mom or anything.
- 6:48Speaker 4: No, let me tell you what I'm not gonna do.
- 6:50Speaker 2: I tell you what would do younger, less mature Ricky
- 6:53Speaker 2: have done in that situation.
- 6:54Speaker 4: I would have started it off with what the heck.
- 6:56Speaker 3: Is going on?
- 6:57Speaker 4: Why are we doing this?
- 6:59Speaker 5: And I would have felt like I needed to say
- 7:00Speaker 5: something yeah, when sometimes you just don't.
- 7:02Speaker 4: And that comes with.
- 7:03Speaker 5: Growth and maturity. And here I am now very proud
- 7:05Speaker 5: of myself. But at the end of the day, nothing
- 7:07Speaker 5: bad happened. Everything was great. We had such a good
- 7:10Speaker 5: time AJ and I at the wedding. He was also
- 7:13Speaker 5: very sweet and very kind, and I highly suggest having
- 7:16Speaker 5: someone in your life to share with who can do
- 7:19Speaker 5: things like this. He was like, do you want a
- 7:21Speaker 5: code word where like if you're uncomfortable, mart, we can walk.
- 7:24Speaker 4: Away things like that.
- 7:25Speaker 5: Like he always was trying to make sure that I
- 7:27Speaker 5: felt good and I felt comfortable, which also helped me
- 7:30Speaker 5: feel comfortable.
- 7:30Speaker 2: If you're proud of yourself, I'm proud of you too,
- 7:33Speaker 2: that's that's great.
- 7:34Speaker 3: I know Zach wanted you to like get in a
- 7:35Speaker 3: fistfight or some of them with that shocker didn't happen.
- 7:37Speaker 3: Can I just ask last thing, what was your code word.
- 7:39Speaker 3: Did you guys have a code word?
- 7:40Speaker 5: We didn't make one up. I was like, it's gonna
- 7:41Speaker 5: be fine, Age, It's gonna be fine. Everything's okay. He
- 7:44Speaker 5: asked me like four times though, Yeah, which, like I said,
- 7:46Speaker 5: just made me feel better that I knew somebody had
- 7:48Speaker 5: my back.
- 7:48Speaker 3: If necessary, you demonstrated growth.
- 7:51Speaker 1: Thank you, Three things you need to know?
- 7:53Speaker 2: Are you ready for a brand new week? You better be,
- 7:55Speaker 2: because it's here. Happy Monday friends. Thank you for starting
- 7:58Speaker 2: with us.
- 7:58Speaker 3: Rick, He's got those three things one way to.
- 8:00Speaker 4: Get people hyped out.
- 8:01Speaker 5: Lots of dating rumors floating around right now. It looks
- 8:04Speaker 5: like Sabrina Carpenter and her boyfriend, actor Barry Kyogan may
- 8:07Speaker 5: have broken up. Neither of them have confirmed or denied
- 8:10Speaker 5: this rumor, but there's been stories that the couple is
- 8:12Speaker 5: very on and off, partially because of Barrie's party lifestyle,
- 8:16Speaker 5: which then kind of leads to a little wonderings of
- 8:21Speaker 5: if there's cheating going on or anything like that. Also
- 8:24Speaker 5: kind of makes sense because her latest single, Please Please Please,
- 8:27Speaker 5: talks about not wanting to be embarrassed by the person
- 8:30Speaker 5: that she's with little and yes, it's being said that
- 8:34Speaker 5: he is quite the party animal and gets pretty out
- 8:36Speaker 5: of hand when he's you know, out at these parties.
- 8:39Speaker 5: So we'll see if they actually say anything about it
- 8:42Speaker 5: themselves to confirm or deny this. And now for something
- 8:45Speaker 5: a little more positive on the dating rumors, it looks
- 8:48Speaker 5: like singer Doja Cat and Joseph Quinn from Stranger Things
- 8:52Speaker 5: are dating. They were seen out about holding hands, getting cozy,
- 8:55Speaker 5: you know, all that good stuff. If you remember, Doja
- 8:58Speaker 5: Cat reached out to Joseph of Quinn's cast Made and
- 9:01Speaker 5: Stranger Things and said, you need to hook us up,
- 9:04Speaker 5: like that's right?
- 9:05Speaker 3: That was the little man.
- 9:06Speaker 1: Yes.
- 9:07Speaker 5: He had then posted and shared the dms and it
- 9:09Speaker 5: ultimately led to a little bit of arguments, a little
- 9:12Speaker 5: tension between.
- 9:13Speaker 4: Doja Cat and Noah Shaft. But it looks like it
- 9:17Speaker 4: all worked out for Dojo because she.
- 9:19Speaker 5: Has met him and it looks like they're having a
- 9:20Speaker 5: good time, so good for her. Home Run Derby X
- 9:23Speaker 5: is happening at First Rise in Park next weekend. This
- 9:26Speaker 5: is really cool so you can see MLB Legends, softball stars,
- 9:29Speaker 5: local Middle Tennessee participants. They're all going to be competing
- 9:32Speaker 5: in this home run competition. The event is happening Saturday,
- 9:35Speaker 5: August thirty first, from five thirty to nine pm. You
- 9:37Speaker 5: can buy tickets on their website.
- 9:39Speaker 3: Very cool.
- 9:39Speaker 4: I'm Ricky Sanchez and those are the three things you
- 9:41Speaker 4: need to know.
- 9:41Speaker 3: Thank you, Ricky.
- 9:42Speaker 2: Back into the Tunes with Benson Boone right up to this,
- 9:44Speaker 2: We're all going to learn something together.
- 9:46Speaker 3: Zax Fax on the River next.
- 9:48Speaker 1: Ricky, Zach and Mano in the morning on one seven.
- 9:53Speaker 2: Our buddy Zach is out this week, but before he left,
- 9:55Speaker 2: he recorded some facts for us because everybody loves Zach's
- 9:58Speaker 2: Fax on one oh seven the River.
- 10:00Speaker 3: What you got? Do you know the word that everybody
- 10:02Speaker 3: says whenever they're taking a photo and.
- 10:04Speaker 6: They say say jeez, yeah, it used to be say
- 10:07Speaker 6: prunes because it was back in the day because whenever
- 10:11Speaker 6: people would smile, they would want their mouth like tighter
- 10:14Speaker 6: instead of like a big teethy smile, so they would
- 10:16Speaker 6: say say prune frud.
- 10:17Speaker 3: I can kind of see that coming back with like
- 10:19Speaker 3: duck lips and stuff. Yeah, so that's what it used
- 10:21Speaker 3: to be, and that's your fact of the day.
- 10:23Speaker 5: Prunes.
- 10:23Speaker 4: I'm gonna get myself in the camera right now. Runes.
- 10:26Speaker 3: You look cool, Prunes.
- 10:28Speaker 4: No, I don't like it.
- 10:29Speaker 3: I don't like it.
- 10:31Speaker 1: Ricky is zach and Manno in the morning.
- 10:36Speaker 4: Is it okay to beat your kids at games?
- 10:39Speaker 5: It's Ricky zach Amano in the morning on one O
- 10:41Speaker 5: seven five the River. I'm asking this because I don't
- 10:43Speaker 5: have any kids, Kevin, you have two. Our boss has
- 10:46Speaker 5: a kid, and I was having a conversation with our
- 10:49Speaker 5: boss and he was just laying into the fact that
- 10:53Speaker 5: he beat his kids so bad at mini golf, and
- 10:56Speaker 5: he was so proud of you, so proud of himself.
- 11:00Speaker 5: As he said, his kid was talking smack and He's like,
- 11:01Speaker 5: I had to put him in his place and I
- 11:03Speaker 5: beat him.
- 11:03Speaker 4: At mini golf, and I was like, let the kid win.
- 11:06Speaker 3: No mercy.
- 11:07Speaker 5: I just don't know what that's like though, because I
- 11:09Speaker 5: don't have kids, So I'm wondering is it okay to
- 11:10Speaker 5: beat your kids at games?
- 11:12Speaker 2: My wife, My wife and I have talked about this.
- 11:14Speaker 2: I really do have my own opinion on this. I'll
- 11:16Speaker 2: share that in a minute, but I'd love to hear
- 11:17Speaker 2: from smothers as well. Six one five, seven, three seven,
- 11:20Speaker 2: nine one oh seven. Where do you stand on it?
- 11:22Speaker 3: Are you like Jonathan just no mercy whatsoever?
- 11:25Speaker 2: Joe hold meg let us know six, one five, seven,
- 11:27Speaker 2: three seven, nine, one oh seven.
- 11:29Speaker 1: Ricky is Zach and Mano in the morning on one
- 11:33Speaker 1: seven five the River.
- 11:34Speaker 5: So Frankie and Murphysboro, welcome to one oh seven five
- 11:37Speaker 5: the River.
- 11:38Speaker 4: How many kids do you have, Frankie?
- 11:40Speaker 1: Three?
- 11:40Speaker 4: Three kids?
- 11:41Speaker 5: Is it okay to beat your kids at games like
- 11:43Speaker 5: fun activities?
- 11:44Speaker 7: Absolutely?
- 11:45Speaker 3: Yes, I agree with you. Frankie.
- 11:47Speaker 4: Oh okay, Well, how old are your kids? Frankie nine,
- 11:50Speaker 4: seven and five, and you're okay beating the five year
- 11:53Speaker 4: old at games?
- 11:54Speaker 1: They've got the word uh huh.
- 11:56Speaker 3: I do think Frankie, maybe you can relate to this.
- 11:58Speaker 2: But when my son he's when he was younger, I
- 12:01Speaker 2: would let him win stuff and he would take it
- 12:03Speaker 2: real hard if he would lose. But then we got
- 12:05Speaker 2: to a certain point where it was like, all right,
- 12:06Speaker 2: he's not a baby anymore.
- 12:07Speaker 3: We gotta beat him, we gotta teach him.
- 12:09Speaker 7: My dad me. I grew up at Chuck E Cheese
- 12:12Speaker 7: and my dad showed me no mercy in air hockey.
- 12:14Speaker 7: So tradition continues.
- 12:17Speaker 5: Your dad is just like our boss Jonathan. Then he
- 12:19Speaker 5: just no mercy, no holding back. He's like, I'm just
- 12:21Speaker 5: gonna play you like I would play any.
- 12:23Speaker 3: Of my friends.
- 12:24Speaker 5: Absolutely.
- 12:25Speaker 7: I mean I think you have to teach them they
- 12:27Speaker 7: can't always win.
- 12:29Speaker 2: Yeah, we have noticed with some of our friends, the
- 12:32Speaker 2: kids whose parents beat them at games, board games, whatever
- 12:35Speaker 2: it might be, they are the most graceful in defeat. Now,
- 12:39Speaker 2: like if the parents have been, you know, showing no
- 12:41Speaker 2: mercy for years, the kids understand it.
- 12:43Speaker 3: At this point.
- 12:44Speaker 7: Yeah, I mean I think there's sometimes like you can
- 12:46Speaker 7: do it. But on the whole, I do not let
- 12:48Speaker 7: my kids win.
- 12:49Speaker 3: That's great. I think it's good. Frankie.
- 12:50Speaker 4: All right, Frankie, thank you so much for your opinion.
- 12:52Speaker 7: Have a great day, y'all do Thank you.
- 12:54Speaker 4: Bye.
- 12:55Speaker 3: Let's get one more opinion. Heather in Nashville.
- 12:57Speaker 7: What do you think, absolutely it is absolutely to beat
- 13:00Speaker 7: your child. I didn't even wait, whoa whoa whoa whoa.
- 13:02Speaker 2: Whoa wo in game games clarified games not just beat
- 13:06Speaker 2: your child?
- 13:07Speaker 3: Uh yeah, not only is it okay, I think it's necessary.
- 13:10Speaker 7: I really really do. Honestly, even when she was little,
- 13:14Speaker 7: I didn't let her win in candy Land or Shoots
- 13:16Speaker 7: and Ladders. I'm sorry, but I don't agree with a
- 13:19Speaker 7: participation trophy. I'm not gonna let my kid win. You
- 13:22Speaker 7: gotta win on your own, Heather.
- 13:23Speaker 4: Do you gloat when you win? To you sound like
- 13:26Speaker 4: someone who would gloat, You'd be like, ha ha beat you. Absolutely,
- 13:31Speaker 4: I sensed it. I felt it.
- 13:32Speaker 2: Well yeah, not only I mean, are you teaching invaluable
- 13:35Speaker 2: life lessons?
- 13:35Speaker 3: But it still feels good to win.
- 13:37Speaker 4: What do you have good after you beat your kids
- 13:39Speaker 4: at games? I do, Kevin, it doesn't matter a win win, Heather, thank.
- 13:45Speaker 3: You for calling.
- 13:46Speaker 4: I have a great day, love.
- 13:48Speaker 2: If anybody's on the other side of the six one five, seven,
- 13:50Speaker 2: three seven, nine one seven, I'm.
- 13:52Speaker 4: In shock and awe right now.
- 13:54Speaker 3: Yeah, maybe eat my.
- 13:55Speaker 2: Kids if you're playing them in anything, Ricky, I would
- 13:57Speaker 2: feel terrible doing that.
- 13:59Speaker 1: Ricky is and manno in the morning on the river.
- 14:04Speaker 5: You know, I am shocked at the amount of people
- 14:06Speaker 5: that are agreeing with our boss about this topic.
- 14:09Speaker 2: All these calls all across the board saying yes, it's
- 14:11Speaker 2: okay to beat your kids at games.
- 14:13Speaker 5: Jimmy and Murphy's Boro, what do you think is it
- 14:14Speaker 5: okay to beat your kids at games?
- 14:16Speaker 4: Hey?
- 14:17Speaker 8: Honestly, I have a seventeen year old, a fourteen year old,
- 14:21Speaker 8: and a seven year old, and for me. They have
- 14:23Speaker 8: to lose. They have to tap into that emotion if
- 14:27Speaker 8: I'm losing. If they always win, and they're not gonna
- 14:30Speaker 8: know what it's like to feel that that sweet feeling
- 14:32Speaker 8: when they do win it.
- 14:33Speaker 4: So that's what I do.
- 14:35Speaker 5: Okay, Jimmy, did you wait till a certain age to
- 14:37Speaker 5: start beating them at games?
- 14:39Speaker 4: Or was it always that way?
- 14:41Speaker 8: Really? When they were like three or four years old,
- 14:43Speaker 8: it was always fun. So I kind of let them
- 14:45Speaker 8: win then. But as they get older and they're more
- 14:48Speaker 8: into school and they don't really deal with real life situations,
- 14:52Speaker 8: you know, I really start to get a little more
- 14:54Speaker 8: aggressive and beat them at things, you know, and I
- 14:57Speaker 8: do fish, pump and yell out loud.
- 15:01Speaker 2: Well, Jimmy, that day will come when they start beating
- 15:03Speaker 2: you at everything.
- 15:04Speaker 8: You're right, and I hope to take care of me
- 15:06Speaker 8: when I'm in my.
- 15:09Speaker 5: Yeah, it sounds like you're a great dad, and I'm
- 15:11Speaker 5: sure that they will.
- 15:12Speaker 8: H Thank you, guys. I appreciate it. Have a good day.
- 15:14Speaker 1: Yeah, you two, Jimmy, Ricky, Zach and Mano. In the mornings,
- 15:23Speaker 1: game time.
- 15:25Speaker 4: Oh, I see what you did there, Kevin.

- 15:48Speaker 2: today it's gonna be about green characters. There's lots of
- 15:50Speaker 2: them out there. A little quiz on green characters. And

- 15:54Speaker 3: You gotta get three out of five rights, three out
- 15:56Speaker 3: of five. He's lost.
- 15:58Speaker 4: He's doing on we normally do you at three?
- 16:00Speaker 3: Hey, I woke up today. I just I felt a
- 16:02Speaker 3: little aggressive.
- 16:03Speaker 4: So yeah, now I'm just finding out about this.
- 16:06Speaker 3: We're going forth three out of five of these to
- 16:08Speaker 3: get the tickets.
- 16:08Speaker 2: Call us right now six, one, five, seven, three seven, nine,
- 16:10Speaker 2: one oh seven if you want to play the Green
- 16:12Speaker 2: Game for Green Day on the River, We're doing it next.
- 16:15Speaker 1: Ricky, Zach and Manno in the morning.
- 16:18Speaker 4: On Lisa in Nashville.
- 16:21Speaker 5: Good morning, It's Kevin Mano's Game of the Day on
- 16:24Speaker 5: one O seven five river.
- 16:28Speaker 4: Are you ready to play Kevin Mano's Game of the Day?
- 16:31Speaker 7: Yes, I am, all right.
- 16:32Speaker 2: You gotta get three out of five of these to
- 16:34Speaker 2: Lisa for tickets to see Green Day. There're gonna be
- 16:37Speaker 2: questions about green characters, green people. Okay, alrighty, the Green
- 16:41Speaker 2: Game starts right now.
- 16:42Speaker 3: To Lisa.
- 16:44Speaker 2: Everyone's favorite ogre. We'll be back in theaters for a
- 16:47Speaker 2: fifth movie in twenty twenty six.
- 16:49Speaker 3: Who is that ogre?
- 16:51Speaker 7: Shrek?
- 16:52Speaker 4: Okay, that was an easy one.
- 16:54Speaker 3: Started easy, started easy, We're easing in.
- 16:57Speaker 2: It made news when what Green can Andy mascot swapped
- 17:01Speaker 2: out boots for sensible flats.
- 17:06Speaker 8: That's find of easy.
- 17:10Speaker 7: Candy, you said, green candy. Yeah, I really don't know.
- 17:20Speaker 2: It was the green eminem okay, and people were outraged
- 17:24Speaker 2: that they made her get rid of her boots.
- 17:26Speaker 4: It was a big deal. But that's okay, that's okay,
- 17:28Speaker 4: you're still in it.
- 17:29Speaker 2: You wouldn't like me when I'm angry is a quote
- 17:31Speaker 2: associated with What Marvel.
- 17:33Speaker 4: Character Nice Nice do there?
- 17:38Speaker 3: You need one more to win? A little green gown
- 17:40Speaker 3: named Disgust is a character in What Animated.
- 17:43Speaker 8: Movies inst out.
- 17:46Speaker 4: Nice job.
- 17:48Speaker 3: You only needed four questions to do it. You went
- 17:50Speaker 3: tickets to see Green Day.
- 17:52Speaker 5: Yes, awesome PLESA hang on the line, Okay, we gotta
- 17:55Speaker 5: get some info from you, all right, thank.
- 17:57Speaker 8: You, Thank you.
- 17:58Speaker 3: Green Day. Giodis August thirtieth. It's gonna be a great show.
- 18:01Speaker 3: They always put on a good show. We're gonna play
- 18:02Speaker 3: the Green game again tomorrow, gonna switch up. It's gonna
- 18:05Speaker 3: be a little different to me. Different vibes, green vibe.
- 18:07Speaker 4: Green vibes all the way, different game.
- 18:10Speaker 2: Three things you need to know a few minutes past
- 18:12Speaker 2: eight o'clock on this Monday morning, Thank you for being here.
- 18:14Speaker 3: Ricky Sanchez has those three things.
- 18:16Speaker 5: Olympia Noah Lyles and football player Tyreek Hill are beefing
- 18:20Speaker 5: right now and it's quite the experience. So Tyreek claimed
- 18:24Speaker 5: on a podcast that he could beat the gold medalists
- 18:27Speaker 5: in a race.
- 18:28Speaker 3: Oh really, bord nolliles, the fastest man.
- 18:31Speaker 1: In the world.
- 18:32Speaker 5: No won the golds for one hundred meters race at
- 18:33Speaker 5: the Olympics this year. Now, Noah has said some choice
- 18:36Speaker 5: things about Tyreek, like that he doesn't know his name
- 18:39Speaker 5: and that he's irrelevant. He's clout chasing all these things.
- 18:42Speaker 5: Now the two have been going back and forth about
- 18:44Speaker 5: racing each other to see who is fastest. No word
- 18:46Speaker 5: on if this is gonna happen, if it ever does,
- 18:49Speaker 5: but if it does, I will let you know because
- 18:51Speaker 5: I think that's gonna be great to Yes, I hope
- 18:53Speaker 5: it does, gonna be great to watch. This is a
- 18:55Speaker 5: quick BNA update for Concourse b So there's a bunch
- 18:58Speaker 5: of upgrades happening to Concourse be at BNA. So in
- 19:01Speaker 5: the meantime, they're going to be renumbering the concourse. So
- 19:04Speaker 5: make sure that if you are going there that you
- 19:06Speaker 5: are like keeping an eye on all the signs because
- 19:09Speaker 5: you may think you know where you're going, but everything
- 19:11Speaker 5: is kind of being restructured right now. All of the
- 19:14Speaker 5: actual work is taking place overnight, so you shouldn't see
- 19:16Speaker 5: any issues or delays or anything like that during the day,
- 19:19Speaker 5: but just pay attention to the new signage so that
- 19:21Speaker 5: you know where you're going, don't get lost.
- 19:23Speaker 2: Do you do that thing at the airport, like before
- 19:25Speaker 2: you get on the flight, you walk to your gate
- 19:26Speaker 2: just to make sure it's there, and then you go
- 19:28Speaker 2: eat or do.
- 19:29Speaker 3: Whatever to waste. You just have to see it first
- 19:31Speaker 3: before you sit.
- 19:31Speaker 5: Down, so I gotta know how far it is from
- 19:33Speaker 5: where I want to sit. You know, there's a place
- 19:35Speaker 5: that's right next to it. To make my life a
- 19:37Speaker 5: little easier. I always do that every time egg prices
- 19:39Speaker 5: have gone up for a third consecutive month. So prices
- 19:42Speaker 5: climbed nineteen point one percent in July compared to the
- 19:46Speaker 5: same month last year.
- 19:47Speaker 4: Obviously not great.
- 19:49Speaker 5: They're saying that the reason is the Avian influenza, also
- 19:51Speaker 5: known as the bird flu. So we're hoping that obviously
- 19:54Speaker 5: everything will kind of balance out again. But if you
- 19:56Speaker 5: go to the grocery store and you see egg prices
- 19:59Speaker 5: are really high, that's why. Or if you're like me,
- 20:01Speaker 5: where I don't even realize because I don't look at
- 20:03Speaker 5: the prices, and then I leave and I go, how
- 20:04Speaker 5: did I spend so much money? And then you have
- 20:07Speaker 5: to look back, it's all because of that. So hopefully
- 20:09Speaker 5: everything balances out soon. I'm Ricky Sanchez, and those are
- 20:12Speaker 5: the three things you need to know.
- 20:14Speaker 1: Ricky, Zach and Mano in the morning on the river.
- 20:18Speaker 5: What's something that people pretend to like but secretly hate.
- 20:22Speaker 5: It's Ricky Zach and Mano in the morning on one
- 20:24Speaker 5: oh seven five the River. I have this full list
- 20:27Speaker 5: of things that people have said to answer this question,
- 20:30Speaker 5: and some of them makes sense to me, and some
- 20:32Speaker 5: of them I'm shocked by.
- 20:33Speaker 3: So things like people are basically pretending to like, this
- 20:36Speaker 3: is no way you they can like it.
- 20:37Speaker 4: In your opinion, yeah, but they but they pretend like
- 20:40Speaker 4: they do.
- 20:41Speaker 3: I have one in my mind, but I'm hesitant to say.
- 20:43Speaker 4: You seem very hesitanting in front of.
- 20:45Speaker 9: You, Ricky, because I feel like this might not go
- 20:47Speaker 9: over well. But going do you want to share going
- 20:50Speaker 9: to weddings? I know you don't have a wady coming up,
- 20:54Speaker 9: but I don't really like going to weddings. But I'm
- 20:56Speaker 9: sure yours is gonna be great. Six one five, seven, three,
- 20:58Speaker 9: seven nine seven. What's something you think people are just
- 21:01Speaker 9: pretending to like they secretly hate us?
- 21:04Speaker 1: Oh, Man, Ricky, Zach and Manno In the morning on the.
- 21:10Speaker 2: River minutes ago, Ricky asked things people just pretend to
- 21:15Speaker 2: like they actually secretly hate them, but to pretend they
- 21:18Speaker 2: like them.
- 21:18Speaker 3: I said, going to weddings, And I'm sorry, I know
- 21:20Speaker 3: you have a wedding coming out, but you know they
- 21:22Speaker 3: can be It's a lot of work.
- 21:24Speaker 2: And it's a lot of money. The money you'll make
- 21:26Speaker 2: small talk with people. And I don't like to dance
- 21:28Speaker 2: and stuff, but I'm really looking forward to your wedding.
- 21:30Speaker 5: I'm shocked that you say you don't like to dance,
- 21:32Speaker 5: because you dance in the studio quite often, not.
- 21:34Speaker 4: Well, but you do it.
- 21:36Speaker 3: I don't like to dance in front of a lot
- 21:38Speaker 3: of people because I can't. Okay, you and Zach whatever,
- 21:41Speaker 3: you watch me.
- 21:42Speaker 4: You're comfortable with us. I like that that works.
- 21:44Speaker 5: I saw this like list of people on Reddit that
- 21:46Speaker 5: were just going in on things that people pretend to
- 21:49Speaker 5: like but secretly hate, and I'm shocked by a lot
- 21:51Speaker 5: of these because they don't bother me. Oh okay, so
- 21:54Speaker 5: like this list has having the restaurant staff sing happy
- 21:58Speaker 5: birthday to you.
- 21:59Speaker 3: I don't like when people saying heavy, even if it's friends.
- 22:01Speaker 3: I don't like it.
- 22:01Speaker 5: It makes me feel like I love it Happy birthday. Okay,
- 22:05Speaker 5: I don't mind it at all. I don't mind it
- 22:07Speaker 5: at all. But see I love it, but pretend to
- 22:10Speaker 5: hate it.
- 22:11Speaker 4: Stop up, you don't.
- 22:12Speaker 3: Need to sing. But I am sharing a lot right now.
- 22:16Speaker 5: This says four to five dollars coffee my four to
- 22:19Speaker 5: five dollars coffee is delightful, But.
- 22:21Speaker 2: Doesn't it drive you crazy? You're spending that much money
- 22:22Speaker 2: on a couple of coffee.
- 22:23Speaker 4: Everything is expensive. Now, there's not much that we could
- 22:26Speaker 4: do about it.
- 22:26Speaker 3: Yeah, okay, all right, you.
- 22:27Speaker 4: Gotta just accept your point.
- 22:29Speaker 5: Workplace small talk I know you hate, Yeah, you hate it,
- 22:34Speaker 5: you hate any kind of small talk.
- 22:35Speaker 4: I kind of love it.
- 22:36Speaker 5: I feel like it's a revealing Wow, the way that
- 22:38Speaker 5: somebody reacts to a question, it's very revealing. And then
- 22:41Speaker 5: I get to know who they are, and then I
- 22:43Speaker 5: get they go into categories. I have categories of people
- 22:46Speaker 5: that I work with.
- 22:46Speaker 3: I would rather jump out the window than have to
- 22:49Speaker 3: do any of that.
- 22:50Speaker 5: There's also school plays, which I don't have to go
- 22:53Speaker 5: to school plays, so I.
- 22:54Speaker 4: Can't relate to that one.
- 22:56Speaker 5: No comments, okay. And LinkedIn. People can't believe that people
- 23:01Speaker 5: are so excited to talk about their work. I think
- 23:03Speaker 5: LinkedIn is fun.
- 23:03Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 23:04Speaker 2: I have friends, like professional friends that their only social
- 23:07Speaker 2: media that they do is LinkedIn.
- 23:08Speaker 3: Yeah, they love it.
- 23:09Speaker 4: I see, now they're wrong with this. So this list
- 23:11Speaker 4: just is crazy to me.
- 23:12Speaker 5: But if you're something that you think that people pretend
- 23:15Speaker 5: to like but secretly hate.
