- 0:21Yeah, but the checking is way back.
- 0:24Just taking a little longer than expected, I guess, but then
- 0:26he'll be back in a few, be back in a few days.
- 0:28So everybody that misses him, you'll see him pretty soon.
- 0:31And in the meantime, you have to still settle for just Josh and
- 0:34I, and hopefully you're happy with that because today we're
- 0:38covering the Week 13 waiver wire kids and streamers, and we're
- 0:43going to have a lot of spicy names because listen, we only
- 0:47talk about spicy names. But the spice levels are off the
- 0:51charts. Price level off the charts.
- 0:53But before we get into it, just wanna wish everybody had happy
- 0:57holidays. We're recording this shortly
- 0:59after Christmas. So I hope everybody had a good
- 1:01Christmas. If you don't tell a big

- 1:05celebrate. Just quality time with family
- 1:08and friends and loved ones. And I know that I still have to
- 1:12catch up on sleep. I feel like I have to not catch
- 1:15up on food, like whatever the opposite of that is.
- 1:18Yeah. Yeah.
- 1:21What's the What did you guys do that was fun?
- 1:23Um, we closed on our first house.
- 1:26I mean, not, not holiday related, but the day after
- 1:28Christmas we, we bought a house. So that's pretty, pretty
- 1:32exciting stuff. Everybody here who's listening,
- 1:34if you're very nice, Santa put you on the nice list and then
- 1:38you get a house. Yeah, that is, that is how that
- 1:40works. I guess I've been really nice
- 1:41this year, so. You've been very nice and all
- 1:44the viewers have said so so. Congrats, Yes, that's a super
- 1:48exciting. It's also exciting for all our
- 1:50fans because now we're closer to having Kevin and Jake come visit
- 1:54me for more in person podcast sessions.
- 1:57Maybe we do an all night sash or something crazy.
- 2:00You know, let's see, We'll see what we can come up with A yeah.
- 2:03So that's a win for everyone. And first one, second furniture.
- 2:07Josh is going to be in Montreal visiting, Yeah.
- 2:10So before he moves into the new house.
- 2:12So we're going to have some in person content.
- 2:14We have to plan some stuff and maybe.
- 2:17We have to do something fun. Yeah, something funny.
- 2:19You know, we've never, I'll say we haven't recorded in person,
- 2:22the three of us, since we started YouTube and stuff.
- 2:26So that's crazy. Yeah, we never done it in person
- 2:28video. We'll have to figure out how to
- 2:29do in person video for all three of us.
- 2:31Yeah, actually get a camera. We do our first step for our
- 2:35first ever live episode or something you.
- 2:37Know that could be really fun. That could be could be something
- 2:40to throw out there. You know, we'll see if people
- 2:42are interested then let us know in the discord or in the
- 2:45comments anywhere and we can make this happen.
- 2:48That would be really fun. So many ideas but if you guys
- 2:51have ideas let us know. And yeah, YouTube comments in
- 2:53the discord, shoot us a message and we got a little over a week
- 2:58to prepare so looking forward. To that, yeah, we could do it.
- 3:01We can do it. We can do it.
- 3:03All right, but we. Right before we get into it,
- 3:06just reminded everybody for listening on Spotify, Apple,
- 3:10wherever, click the follow button for the Mega Management

- 3:19So that would be really fun. And if you're watching on
- 3:22YouTube, listen, subscribe, comment, like all that good
- 3:27stuff. If there's one other thing that
- 3:29I forgot to mention, do that too.
- 3:30And the the best place to be during the holiday season is the
- 3:34banker management fantasy hockey discord.
- 3:36So if you're not already in there, join the community.
- 3:38It's a lot of fun. We're literally everyday talking

- 3:44keeper leagues, all that good stuff.
- 3:45So join the. Fun making, making friends for
- 3:48life. Making friends for life.
- 3:49We had the Bangor Management League.
- 3:51People were so hyped about like just like playing in the league
- 3:55together in the middle of the season.
- 3:56They just literally did draft a week ago.
- 3:58Yeah, it's off and running. So and they're running the same,
- 4:02the same like settings that we use in our league of records.
- 4:05So now this podcast even more tailored for them because they
- 4:09have exactly the same settings. So no, it's it's, it's fun stuff
- 4:13happening in this world all the time.
- 4:15Lots of nice holiday messages going around.
- 4:17So definitely get in there. It's a great place to.
- 4:19Be we talked about starting Bangor management leagues for
- 4:21next year, but they just got too excited.
- 4:23They were like, we want one this year, so we're gonna make yeah.
- 4:26So that was pretty funny. I love it.
- 4:29All right, now that all that is done, let's get into the meat
- 4:32and potatoes of the week 13. We.
- 4:36Have any more meat and potatoes please?
- 4:39Are you? Are you a Turkey guy or a ham
- 4:41guy or what are you? Definitely not a ham guy.
- 4:47No, I mean, we have everything. It's with my wife's family.
- 4:51So like the the Christmas Eve we go to her uncle's house and he
- 4:53has a massive buffet and then the Christmas Day her parents
- 4:56host and there's a massive buffet and there's.
- 4:58Always a massive. Buffet just say let's just say I
- 5:00don't go to bed hungry. Enough.
- 5:02I saw this quick Terra posted her.
- 5:04She made like a roasted Turkey for Christmas and it looks
- 5:06amazing. I can't say that bleeping
- 5:09amazing. I look, I love all meat.
- 5:14I'm a meat kind of guy but the but ham is where my heart lies.
- 5:19On that note, let's dive into our Week 12 choices.
- 5:24Alright, this was uh, not not our best.
- 5:27I'll say I still think that some of the the guys we recommend,
- 5:30like all the guys recommended here have season long hold.
- 5:32But yeah, season long hold guys don't have every week an amazing
- 5:35week. So things happen.
- 5:36Let's get into it. Yeah.
- 5:37So first we had Ryan O'Reilly big win, actually.
- 5:39Three games played, one goal, four assist, five points.
- 5:42Nashville just on fire. O'reilly's on fire.
- 5:44He's over a point per game on the past month, still under 40%
- 5:47owned. So spoiler alert, you're going
- 5:48to hear him again on our list this week.
- 5:50But this was a huge win for us. Then we had Josh Norris this guy
- 5:55somehow while being a point came on the season, he finds a way to
- 5:57always disappoint us when I know on the pod it's crazy.
- 6:01He doesn't disappoint you if he's on your team, but on the
- 6:03pod he thought he just knows when he's one of the top three
- 6:06of the week and and doesn't show up or gets injured.
- 6:09SO3 games played one goal, 061 point were counted that as an L
- 6:13and then we had Elise Lindholm similar vein as Norris where we
- 6:16still love them as season long holds, but didn't have this best
- 6:19week. Three games played, only one
- 6:20assist. I will say though, one of his
- 6:22games seven shots on goal in total ten shots in those three
- 6:25games for Allison home. That's insane.
- 6:27The average is less than two shots a game.
- 6:29So if your league has points for shots, if your league has a
- 6:32shots category and this came out of nowhere and helped you, you
- 6:34know we're still going to count as we're keeping ourselves
- 6:36honest. But I don't think it was that
- 6:38bad of a week to own a lifeline home.
- 6:40So that brings us to 21 and 9 on the season.
- 6:42Still liking where we're at, but let's let's pick it up for this
- 6:45week. So we get back more in the win
- 6:47column and let's dive into another interesting week.
- 6:49This is like the inverse of the holiday week where every team
- 6:52plays a ton of games. So there are no two game teams
- 6:55this week. Now you have to drop for
- 6:58four-game teams. First of all there's a 5 game
- 7:00team and that is Carolina. So the classic Monday, Tuesday,
- 7:03Thursday, Saturday, Sunday, and then there's a bunch of
- 7:07four-game teams so I'm not going to mention all of them.
- 7:09The busy nights are interesting this week.
- 7:10Instead of the regular Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday, we've got
- 7:12Monday, Wednesday, Saturday, and then there's a bunch of teams
- 7:15that play on two off nights. So not going to go through all
- 7:17of those, but there's a lot of potential here for streaming
- 7:20with so many teams playing so many games.
- 7:23So let's dive into our top ten points, guys under 40% owned.
- 7:27As always, Kevin, start us off with.
- 7:30Just a little preface, little profile, Che.
- 7:33Yeah, like Josh just mentioned, all these guys are less than 40%
- 7:37owned. So I would say these guys are
- 7:39going to be relevant for your deeper leagues.
- 7:41Anything deeper league is like 12 is a minimum 12 team league,
- 7:4414 team league for sure. But if you're in A10 team league
- 7:47or an 8 team league, or you're starting line is pretty shallow
- 7:49or you're only starting like one or two of every position, there
- 7:53might be guys on your waiver wire that are better than the
- 7:55names were about to list. So just do your due diligence.
- 7:58Like just because we list the guy that's like 5% owned that
- 8:01has a really good upside this week, doesn't mean there's not
- 8:03like a guy that's like 57% owned or like 43% on your waiver wire
- 8:07that we wouldn't want more than that.
- 8:08So just their due diligence. If you have any questions, you
- 8:11can always drop them in the discord.
- 8:12We're happy to answer them. But these are our top top ten
- 8:15names for guys that are less than 40% of them that are shoe
- 8:18in to get you points this week. And we're going to start off
- 8:21with #10. At #10 we just mentioned that he
- 8:25burnt us every time we put him in the top 3.
- 8:27So now he's not going to burn us because we put him at #10 and
- 8:29that his Chash Norris of the Buffalo Sabres currently line 2
- 8:32power play one only three games this week.
- 8:34But look, this guy's point per game over the season.
- 8:37We know the sample size is small because he was out for a lot of
- 8:39it, but this is a guy that I'm just happy to have on my team
- 8:42and a deeper league for the rest of the season.
- 8:43So feels as long as he's under 40% feels hard not to mention.
- 8:47Him listen, we keep mentioning him, we have to check the
- 8:50ceiling with Josh Norris and not get too ahead of yourself like I
- 8:53tend to do sometimes. But wow, his deployment is this
- 8:58is line 2PP1. We wish she was playing with
- 9:00tagged. I feel like that's like the next
- 9:02level 4, even better deployment and production.
- 9:05But even line 2 like it's just he's getting good minutes.
- 9:10He's a goal scorer guys like he's shooting percentage is 24%
- 9:14right now on the season, which is pretty, pretty high and the
- 9:16power plays clicking Buffaloes on a roll their winning games.
- 9:19They once again beat the Ottawa Senators, who have yet to beat
- 9:22them since the Josh nor still and cousins swap.
- 9:25They played three times and the. Senators have won.
- 9:27Three games, even though I feel like Norris has only played
- 9:29maybe one of those games. So either way, I think Buffalo
- 9:33is kind of on the up and up like people are.
- 9:35This is becoming a little bit of a wagon right now.
- 9:37So you kinda want pieces attached to this and I think
- 9:39Josh Norris is an easy entry point, especially given the you
- 9:42can stream him this week. Yeah, I will say that with
- 9:45Buffalo, like it feels like they do this every year.
- 9:47You know, they always go on some crazy win streak of like 10
- 9:50games or something, and then for some reason the wheels just fall
- 9:53off and they miss the playoffs. So we'll see what happens.
- 9:56Look, we're all the difference in the division is not usually
- 9:58this bad though. That's true.
- 10:00There's a lot more space the whole conference, right?
- 10:02There's just from top to bottom, there's like a difference in
- 10:05like 5 point, something crazy like that.
- 10:06So there's definitely a lot of space to be made for any team
- 10:10that wants to go on a run and take a spot in the playoffs.
- 10:13And they fired the GM. They're looking like maybe
- 10:15they'll make some good moves. We'll see.
- 10:18Going to give him the benefit of the doubt until he screws up.
- 10:20So now it could be a fun time in Buffalo.
- 10:23But just keep in mind this has happened before.
- 10:26And just something to know. What Josh Norris though, is that
- 10:28last year he's always kind of had the reputation of being a
- 10:31guy that has a high point ceiling because he's a good goal
- 10:34scorer and also hits those banger categories.
- 10:37But this season he's not really hitting the banker categories.
- 10:39I feel like he just has so much injury history that he's just
- 10:41trying to not lay the body down that much because in the past
- 10:44he's he's been averaging like 2.4 hits a game.
- 10:47This is not even averaging one hit a game.
- 10:49So I'm, I don't know if that like is something that develops
- 10:52throughout the season or if it's just kind of like not part of
- 10:55this game anymore. I'm leaning more to that side.
- 10:57But that doesn't change the fact that, like, he's still a
- 10:59valuable player for fantasy. Yeah.
- 11:02OK, let's go to. #9. #9 we have Anthony Mantha of the Pittsburgh
- 11:08Penguins line 2 power play 1 four-game week this week.
- 11:12Main reason he's on this list is because he's power play one on
- 11:15Pittsburgh who's currently a top five power play in the league.
- 11:18Look, Matt does not the best player on the power that power
- 11:20play unit. He's the worst one.
- 11:21And the second of getting Malcolm comes back, he gets
- 11:23bumped off and he loses all value.
- 11:25But look, you have a four-game week and you can grab a guy on
- 11:28one of the top five power plays in the league.
- 11:30I think it's an easy stream to pull off.
- 11:33Yep, literally is all about the P1 exposure.
- 11:35So if by the time you're listening to this for some
- 11:39reason it's not power plant anymore, I'm not interested
- 11:41anymore at all. But given these still there and
- 11:43Malkin is still out, like he has upside and his minutes fluctuate
- 11:47a lot. Like he's been on people one
- 11:49ever since the Malkin injury. But like some games he's playing
- 11:5119 minutes, some games he plays 14 minutes.
- 11:53So still a lot of volatility there, but it doesn't change the
- 11:57fact that like he can have multi point games very easily.
- 12:00So interested third, third ranked power play in the league
- 12:03right now, 4 game week. There's a lot of things to like.
- 12:07Yeah. OK, let's go to. #8.
- 12:11And #8 we have Chandler Stevenson of the Seattle Crack
- 12:14in line. One power play, 1 centre for
- 12:17this team, three-game week. I know they're not the most
- 12:20exciting team offensively, defensively in any way, but what
- 12:24Stevenson's been doing is just notable.
- 12:26You kind of have to you have to, you know, shout out, shout out a
- 12:29guy who's playing like that and has that deployment, even if
- 12:31it's on an unexciting team. So I like him as a stream,
- 12:34especially if you're in a face off win league.
- 12:36He's a great at face off. So you have that kind of floor
- 12:38of getting getting good face officer regardless of if the
- 12:41points keep coming. But there's another guy on this
- 12:44list coming up who's also on his line and the two of them
- 12:47together have been kind of popping off lately.
- 12:49So I won't spoil it, but it's definitely an interesting
- 12:51pickup. Yeah, we'll go too further in
- 12:53depth here, but even on teams like Seattle where it feels like
- 12:57everything is doom and gloom all the time and they have no
- 12:59offensive capabilities, lines get hot.
- 13:02And when lines get hot, we want pieces of it.
- 13:04And this is lined up. Everybody's kind of like easily
- 13:06accessible. You're getting access to a power
- 13:08play one off waivers, which is always what you're looking to
- 13:11do. Yeah, and they have four games
- 13:13the week after this, so if he has a solid week, you just hold
- 13:16on to him for another week. Yep, OK.
- 13:20At #7. We've got Matt Zuccarello of the
- 13:24Minnesota Wild line one power play 1 four-game week.
- 13:27I had a lot of options this week on who to I know I was going to
- 13:29put someone from Minnesota. And there's other guys who have
- 13:32been hotter than Zuccarello in the past few weeks.
- 13:34There's you know, you've got Marcus Johansson's been hot,
- 13:37Tarasenko's been hot, they've had, you know, Ryan Hartman's
- 13:41been hot. But at the end of the day, you
- 13:42got to go with who has the best deployment and that is
- 13:44Zuccarello. And I just believe in that the
- 13:47deployment is a better indicator of future success than past
- 13:52successes. So for that reason, I would go
- 13:54Zuccarello over any of those other wild guys if you have the
- 13:57choice and four-game week. So it's an easy, uh, he should
- 14:00get you some good points. He's playing 18 minutes at
- 14:02night. He has exposure to Kaprizov
- 14:03boldly. So you're getting a guy that's
- 14:06playing with the best players on this team and that's why you
- 14:08kind of want him over like a Johansson or Hartman.
- 14:11Like Josh just said, they have an exceptional power play right
- 14:15now when he's a feel like he's settling in still.
- 14:18I think Zuccarello could be a great pick and he is, I would
- 14:21say a little bit more one-dimensional where you're not
- 14:24really getting a lot of category coverage, but the points upside
- 14:26is really there and that's what you kind of want with this.
- 14:28His shooting percentage is also like super low.
- 14:32So he's still shooting only 6%. So he's due for some goals,
- 14:35guys. Pretty much what that means.
- 14:38Yeah, OK, let's go to the next one with #6 at number six,
- 14:44another one of our friends who let us down last week, but we're
- 14:47coming back for more. We've got Elias Lindholm of the
- 14:49Boston Bruins still line one power play, one only three-game
- 14:52week this week before games the week after that.
- 14:55And this is just a similar to Josh Norris where like what he's
- 14:58been doing season long is just too impressive to be under 40%
- 15:02owned. And with the deployment he has,
- 15:04getting to play with Pasternak or Geeky or both on any given
- 15:07night. And that power play is a top
- 15:08five power play in the league somehow.
- 15:11So So yeah. So it's a this is a no brainer
- 15:13like long term pickup. Yeah, like he might not have
- 15:17delivered last week, but that doesn't mean in the future he's
- 15:19not gonna be a solid player to own.
- 15:21The only downside with him is that he's a pure C in, you know,
- 15:25a fantasy format that doesn't have an abundance of
- 15:28availabilities for percies. I feel like everybody's already
- 15:31got 2 studs and all these other guys just kind of like their
- 15:34roster percentage gets so low because of it.
- 15:37But random, you know, playing with pass or not, has the best
- 15:40playoff schedule. You know, in weeks 21 to 2223,
- 15:44he's got a 444. So that's in the lead playoff
- 15:46schedule, exposure to elite level talent, and him himself
- 15:50can have great games too. I just think this is a number
- 15:53brainer. This is a case you pick up if
- 15:54you're in a deeper format like 14 teams and he's still
- 15:57available, I doubt it. But if he's still available,
- 16:00like you pick him up and you hold the whole season and I
- 16:02think come playoff time you'll be happy you did.
- 16:05Yeah. OK, let's go to. #5.
- 16:10At #5 we have Jackson Blake of the Carolina Hurricanes line 2
- 16:14power play. One.
- 16:15There are two reasons that this guy is on this list and so high
- 16:18on this list. The first reason is Carolina
- 16:20place five times next week. That is an insane number of
- 16:23games in a week. That's the most amount of games
- 16:25that you can ever have in a week and no other team plays five
- 16:28times. So number one reason is a
- 16:29schedule. Number two reason is Seth Jarvis
- 16:31is injured and that leads to Jackson Blake being on power
- 16:33play one. Look, Carolina does not have a
- 16:35good power play. I don't think Seth Drive is
- 16:37being injured and Blake coming on is going to make it better.
- 16:39If anything it'll definitely make it worse, but you have that
- 16:42deployment on A5 game week, you have to at least take a look at
- 16:44that. Yeah, absolutely.
- 16:47And I think Blake is one of those guys that, you know, we
- 16:50looked at like either getting a big jump from the Jarvis injury.
- 16:53The biggest jump might be from like, like maybe he's not going
- 16:56to have the 55 deployment, but as long as he's in the top 6,
- 16:59like he's viable. But that power play 1, the power
- 17:01has been struggling in Carolina. Like it's not one of the best by
- 17:04far, which is one of the issues with drivers that we talked
- 17:07about. It's just doesn't have any power
- 17:08play points on the season either.
- 17:10But I think Blake getting exposure there and he's the type
- 17:12of player that takes a lot of shots too.
- 17:14I think he can be a very viable not only streamer but potential
- 17:17hold until drivers comes back. Yeah, OK, let's go to #4 at #4
- 17:26we have someone I previously alluded to, which is Eli
- 17:29Tolvanen of the Seattle crack in line one power play, one with
- 17:33his bud Chandler Stephenson. Only three games this week, four
- 17:35games the week after. Not only is he on fire points
- 17:38wise, but he is also a banger beast.
- 17:41He shoots, he hits, he blocks from a forward.
- 17:44That's really great to have from a forward who gets points.
- 17:46That's even a bigger bonus. So that's why he's higher than
- 17:50Stevenson on the list is because I trust his points more and he
- 17:54has that bangers floor as well. The Bangalore Tolan is honestly
- 17:58really nice because he's been a player in the past that he has
- 18:01that power forward archetype where he can be a double double
- 18:03on a certain weeks and you want exposure to the guys like like
- 18:07that in bangers leagues because that's how you win
- 18:08championships. Picking up guys that are like
- 18:10less than 10% owned that have a double, double and points upside
- 18:13and power play when exposure. This is a rare opportunity to
- 18:16get in on the guy that like has all of that going for him.
- 18:19And I'm not saying it's going to last forever, but while it's
- 18:21hot, he's very valuable. Yeah.
- 18:25OK, let's get into our big top recommendations for this week.
- 18:30Let's start with. #3. At #3 we have Ryan Leonard of
- 18:37the Washington Capitals line 2 power play, 1, four-game week
- 18:40this week, 4 game week next week.
- 18:42So great schedule coming up these next two weeks.
- 18:44He came back from injury early, had one multipoint game and he's
- 18:49got that bangers floor as well. He's shooting, he's hitting, and
- 18:52it seems like the the Sky's the limit with Leonard.
- 18:55We'll see if he can keep that properly on deployment when
- 18:57Wilson is back. I think that he will.
- 19:00I think it's going to be Ovechkin, Wilson, Strome,
- 19:03Leonard and Chicken as the five, but it's not like completely
- 19:07secured. But I'm very curious to see what
- 19:11Leonard can do rest of season, especially if he keeps that
- 19:13deployment. This was a crazy situation
- 19:15because Leonard was like one of those guys that was like 2 high
- 19:18roster early in the season because just for his name and
- 19:20potential, like people were rostering him when he was not
- 19:22doing anything for fantasy and then was like the last week of
- 19:27the 1st week of December and the few last weeks in November he
- 19:30popped off. He was like averaging a point
- 19:33per game. He was shooting, he was hitting.
- 19:35Then he gets hurt. They tell us he's out for a
- 19:38month, He's back in two weeks. First team back.
- 19:40He gets a multipoint game averaging 18 minutes a night
- 19:43playing Power Play 1. I think this could be an all
- 19:47there still a lot of risk with the situation because, you know,
- 19:50the deployment is very volatile and you don't know what
- 19:53Washington's going to want to do.
- 19:55But if he keeps like the best deployment here and you know,
- 19:59Wilson is also not back yet. So when he's back, we'll have to
- 20:01see how everything shakes out. But this could be like a really
- 20:04solid pickup for rest of season, even in your even in your
- 20:09shallower leagues. Like if he's basically 80% of
- 20:11Tom Wilson, you're going to want that guy on your team.
- 20:14So I'm not saying that's what he's going to be.
- 20:16I still think he has a lot of room to grow.
- 20:18But all the guys were gonna mention in this top three have a
- 20:21four games this week and four games in next week.
- 20:23So you know that you can pick them up for two weeks and be
- 20:25happy with it and. I think Ryan Leonard is like a
- 20:28sneaky. People are excited when it's
- 20:29like a rookie that has potential, so I think he's fits
- 20:33everything there. Yeah, exactly.
- 20:35Why does the rookie who has potential, you just don't know
- 20:38what they can do. So it could be nothing or it
- 20:40could be the next steal of the season.
- 20:42So that's why it's always exciting to kind of like a
- 20:44lottery ticket, you know? So exactly so.
- 20:46But he's getting the opportunity here.
- 20:47If he keeps that power play on deployment, I'm very interested.
- 20:52OK, let's go to. #2. #2 we have Mason Marchment of the Columbus
- 20:58Blue Jackets currently line one power play 2, but I could see
- 21:01him getting bumped up to power play 1 within the next game.
- 21:04So that's definitely really interesting.
- 21:07Four games this week, four games next week.
- 21:08As Kevin mentioned. And obviously we had talked
- 21:11about him in our news episode. We talked about how he just got
- 21:13traded to Columbus. We're saying we're not running
- 21:15to pick him up or anything like that.
- 21:17Look, we were trying to pick him up, but yeah, exactly.
- 21:20Still not running. But but look, you put up three
- 21:23goals in his first two games as a Columbus Blue Jacket,
- 21:25including two power play goals while on power play 2.
- 21:28They're probably is not anywhere near locked down.
- 21:30It's been pretty awful. I'd be very surprised if he
- 21:32doesn't get a shot of her play 1.
- 21:34I just don't see how what else the guy has.
- 21:36Like you don't go trade for a guy, he comes in and puts up two
- 21:39power play goals, your team struggling on the power play and
- 21:41then you don't put him on power play 1.
- 21:43So I listed him as probably 2 right now because that's what
- 21:45he's listed as, That's what he played his games as.
- 21:47But like I said, I wouldn't be surprised if by the time this
- 21:49comes out he's on power Play 1. The only thing I want to say
- 21:52with Marshman is I'm very interested in Marchman.
- 21:55I arguably could have put him as #1 on this list.
- 21:59He's #2 for us right now, but he's the type of guy that I just
- 22:04want to, I don't want to like hype him up and then shoot him
- 22:06down. But it's like we've seen this
- 22:08with guys like Marshman before. It's like the change of
- 22:11situation or like a catalyst for change happens.
- 22:15And guys like this succeed like super quickly.
- 22:18They're like high on the momentum and everything.
- 22:20And then it kind of like dies down pretty quickly.
- 22:22And then they're just like they stagnate at a level that is not
- 22:26super valuable, let's say. So I think Marchman has that in
- 22:29his range of outcomes. I would say that's the most
- 22:31likeliest outcome, but given the situation, given Columbus, given
- 22:35the lines, like he has a lot of opportunity here.
- 22:38So there's a world where he settles in as like line one
- 22:41power play 1, averaging 2.5 shots a night, maybe a shot or
- 22:45shot a hit or a hit and a half a night with, you know, the P1 and
- 22:49averaging like .25 power play points.
- 22:51Like that's not outside of the range of outcomes.
- 22:54And I want to expose it to that. I want to take A chance on that
- 22:56for the rest of the season because that would be very
- 22:59valuable for fantasy. A guy that like, hovers around
- 23:01the double double, he's basically like going to be a
- 23:03more label Eli Tolvanen. Pretty much, yeah.
- 23:06Like they're kind of similar where Kelvin will hit a lot
- 23:08more, but we talked about that being streaky and inconsistent.
- 23:12Marshall Nephilim has more reliability on his side.
- 23:14I think he's a better player too.
- 23:17I'm very excited about this and I don't know if it's just
- 23:20because they own Jet Grieves, but I and a couple of the
- 23:23Columbus guys, but I'm I, I think Columbus should be better
- 23:26than what they're doing. Like if you look at all the
- 23:29metrics, like I was doing some research the other day, like
- 23:31Jade Green is a top ten goal in terms of like saves above
- 23:33expected and they just. Always means that the Usually
- 23:37that means that the goalie is good, but the team is bad.
- 23:39But that's what I'm saying exactly.
- 23:40So I just feel like this is not a situation where they're
- 23:43choking third period leads like consistently guys.
- 23:46It's like a huge problem. They're talking about firing the
- 23:49coach because it's happening so often.
- 23:51But the goaltending is not the issue.
- 23:54I feel even Elvis has some good games in him.
- 23:56But when the team figures their stuff out, I think they can have
- 24:00a lot of success. And it's more of a defensive
- 24:02thing than an offensive thing, I think, even though offence is
- 24:04way more volatile. But I think they're going to
- 24:06figure it out and I think once they do, they can be like a wild
- 24:09card team. So I'm I'm really interested on
- 24:13Columbus assets rest of season. A lot of them are by those right
- 24:16now. And I think we might be, you
- 24:17know, a catalyst for the team as a whole to have more positive
- 24:22success moving forward. So I'm very.
- 24:23Interested. Yeah, yeah.
- 24:25And then you throw in the four, four-game week, this weekend,
- 24:28next week, and it makes it such an easy pickup because it's like
- 24:30worst case scenario, just streamed him for two weeks,
- 24:32raised a really good schedule. Didn't drop solid centres with
- 24:35Santillian Monahan like both of them are very capable.
- 24:37Both could be line 1 centres. They have a star on All Star
- 24:41winger with Marchenko, who's still a major bylaw.
- 24:43So if you're listening to this huge bylaw, we're doing bylaw so
- 24:46high on the next episode. So if you're listening to this
- 24:48on Sunday morning, Monday morning, Balotelli, we're not
- 24:52going to mention Marchenko again because we just did an episode
- 24:55on him, but he's still a major bi lo and I really want to
- 24:57acquire him. I think a lot of Columbus assets
- 25:00right now are going to be at their floors and we're going to
- 25:02see a bump in production very soon.
- 25:04Yeah, yeah, no, I love it. That's why he's so, that's why
- 25:07he's #2 I still think #1 is, is a clear #1.
- 25:10Over he's been, too. Hot.
- 25:11That's it. It's just you can't like bank on
- 25:13the potential versus the guy who's been doing it.
- 25:15So let's dive into number one at #1 we have rhino Riley of the
- 25:20national predators. He did us a good last week, so
- 25:23we're running it back line. One power play 1, four-game week
- 25:26this week, 4 game week next week.
- 25:28Over a point per game for over a month.
- 25:30I know the pure C position is super deep, but there's no
- 25:33reason this guy should be under 40% roster.
- 25:34It just does not make any sense. Do I believe that Nashville has
- 25:38suddenly solved all their issues, Is gonna be the best
- 25:40team ever, offensive and have great, you know, fancy
- 25:43production? Absolutely not.
- 25:45But you ride the hot hand. He's been doing amazing.
- 25:48And like, the way I see it is worst case, you stream him and
- 25:51he gets you a bunch of points over the next few weeks, then he
- 25:53cools down and drop him. Best case, you stream, gets you
- 25:55a bunch of points, then you sell him high, and then you're
- 25:58laughing. So either way, you got to pick
- 26:00this guy up. If you can afford a pure C,
- 26:02there's a no-brainer. Yep, and even even if Nashville
- 26:06becomes bad again, which we do think that happens, like they
- 26:09can't continue on this run, the does not mean that you don't
- 26:13stream for, you know, production of week 13 and then deal with
- 26:16the situation afterwards. Whether he's still good to keep
- 26:18them, you trade him or you just cut him and move on.
- 26:21It's like a low risk move. And I really do think, like Josh
- 26:23said, like there's no reason why Ryan really should be less than
- 26:2640% owned still. Yeah, OK, let's get to our top
- 26:30five bangers of this week again, 40% owned and yeah, let's let's
- 26:36dive in with. An extra banger for geeky, but
- 26:39let's dive into #5. #5 we have someone who is very popular on
- 26:46this list. He's been doing so well in
- 26:48bangers that he's being mentioned even though he only
- 26:50has three games this week and that is Emil Heineman of the New
- 26:52York Islanders. On the season, he's averaging
- 26:54over two shots, over three hits, almost four hits and he's
- 26:58chipping in points here and there.
- 26:59Horvat is going to come back at some point.
- 27:01That should boost Heinen's points potential.
- 27:02But again, we're here for bangers and those are
- 27:05guaranteed. So I love him.
- 27:07And I mean, if anyone been listening to the party should
- 27:09just be rostered already in in your league by you a while ago.
- 27:13But if he's not, then you should grab.
- 27:14Him, he's a he's a will Will Cooley light.
- 27:17It feels like he's just, you know, he's got the shot, he's
- 27:20got the high level of hits and he's been doing it throughout
- 27:22the whole season. So we know it's reliable and
- 27:24we've seen him go through stretches where he's averaging
- 27:26like a really high points threshold.
- 27:28I think as you're listening to this Horvat is back.
- 27:30I think he's going to be in line rushes during the during the
- 27:35weekend. He was planning on returning
- 27:37Saturday the 20 the 27th. So listening you're listening to
- 27:41this on the 28th. I think he's going to be back
- 27:44and I think we're going to see better days ahead for Emil
- 27:47Heineman like we're having fans. So we knew how good he could be,
- 27:51but I did not expect this level of, you know, fantasy player for
- 27:54for hockey now that he's on the Islanders.
- 27:57But the owners love their their goons a little bit too.
- 27:59I feel like we we tribute, we attribute like that kind of
- 28:02power. Ford Architect Nashville.
- 28:03It's like city, like everybody's good at hits, but the islands.
- 28:08Islands like them, old and rough.
- 28:11And tough and shaved with no beard.
- 28:13Pretty much. Exactly.
- 28:14Pretty much. But I lot so they're free of
- 28:16that. But yeah, Heinen's great.
- 28:18Let's go to the next one with #4 #4 we've got Boone Jenner of the
- 28:24Columbus Blue Jackets, 4 game week this week and next week.
- 28:27He, you know, used to be a go to bangers beast.
- 28:31He has had injury issues. He had slowed down a bit bumping
- 28:34around the lineup, but his back cats have been looking good
- 28:37again. You know he's got 2.3 shots in
- 28:39the season, 2.1 hits, 1.1 blocks, He's winning some
- 28:42faceoffs from a winger position and he's chipping in points as
- 28:46well. So I really like this is
- 28:48reminding me of the boon of old and kind of why he was a staple
- 28:52own in bangers leagues. I really wanna, I really want to
- 28:56have exposure to Boone Jenner now.
- 28:57Like these banger categories guys are insane.
- 29:00And the fact that he's like better than not at getting you
- 29:03points, I think as well, like it used to be that, you know, he
- 29:06had way better employment when Nashville didn't have all these
- 29:08young guys on the roster. So now he's not he's not the
- 29:11sorry, Columbus just talked about Nashville, But when
- 29:14Columbus had all these young guys on the not on the roster.
- 29:17So that's less of his job right now.
- 29:19It's more of like being a leader, being a captain in the
- 29:21locker room is different when he's on the ice.
- 29:23But I think right now he's cemented his role into like,
- 29:26he's always good at shots, hits, blocks, face offs, like, and
- 29:29he's just better, a better version of Sean Corelli back in
- 29:32the day when I used to love owning him on Columbus.
- 29:34Yeah, he's 114. That was getting me shots.
- 29:37It's blocks, face offs. And I almost beat Jake in the
- 29:41playoffs one week, one year, two or three years ago.
- 29:44I think 3 years ago when I had the game of his life, he had
- 29:47like two goals and a Shorty and whatever.
- 29:49And I almost said, yeah, overcoming all my injuries at
- 29:52that point. But alas, I'm not reminisce too
- 29:55hard. Uh, pick up.
- 29:56Booger. That was a good year.
- 29:57That was another classic. Josh Wynn.
- 29:59Yeah, we can move on. OK, let's go to #3 at #3 we have
- 30:06Sean Walker, the Carolina Hurricanes.
- 30:07The main reason he is being mentioned is again, because they
- 30:10have five games this week. So it's just any, even though if
- 30:13they're guys who are like slightly better bangers, the
- 30:16fact that he gets those two extra games over most players is
- 30:18just too much to to not be interested in.
- 30:21He's averaging 2.2 shots, 1.6 hits, 1.5 blocks, 20 almost 23
- 30:26minutes time on ice per game. So yeah, it's really just the
- 30:30five game week and a bangers guy.
- 30:31Not much to say here other than that just volume.
- 30:34Because I mean, Sean Walker, I feel like he's gone through
- 30:36phases of of viability and fantasy this season.
- 30:40But you're able to pick up a defenseman that has five games
- 30:44this week that averages over two shots a game that is also good
- 30:48at bangs. Like over over a hit and a half
- 30:50of hits over head and a half over a block and a half of what
- 30:55am I trying to say? Over 1 1/2 mission blogs.
- 30:58Over 1.5, hit some blogs and over two shots and five games, I
- 31:03think this is a no brainer pick up.
- 31:04If you're in a bangers categories league, I think it's
- 31:06no brainer even if you're not in a category league and you're in
- 31:09a bangers points league. I think he still has a lot of
- 31:11value this week, yeah, just to make sure you can fit in your
- 31:14roster every day. So due diligence that you're not
- 31:17picking up a defenseman for a week or a slate of games that
- 31:20you're already full of defenseman, you know?
- 31:22Invention. Yeah, for sure.
- 31:24OK, let's go to. #2. And #2 we've got another guy
- 31:29who's going to be a classic on here all season.
- 31:31ECV Trending of the Minnesota Wild 4 game week this week
- 31:35averaging 1.3 shots, 4.7 hits. He's just a pure hits guy. 4
- 31:40game week. If you need the hits, take
- 31:42training and you'll be happy. I hate this guy but yes you if
- 31:46you need the hits, pick him up and you'll be.
- 31:47Happy you put up like 9 hits a game against Kevin last week it.
- 31:50Was it was 15, you had like a ten hit game, you had like 8 hit
- 31:53game. And I was just like losing my
- 31:54mind because I'm one of the best hits teams in our in our league
- 31:57of record. So that category is like not
- 31:59even a thought for me because I have so many studs.
- 32:01But it was also the week that the Rangers had two games
- 32:03instead of sort of like 3 or 4 or 5.
- 32:06Um, so like all my guys like Julian Shoji could not pull
- 32:09enough wait for Yakov Trenin who had four games that dropped like
- 32:1240. Yeah, yeah.
- 32:15Alright, let's go to. Number one.
- 32:19At #1 we have my best friend from back in the day.
- 32:22I discovered this guy before he popped off her fantasy.
- 32:26I invented him and that his Jeremy Lozon of the Vegas Golden
- 32:29Knights. 4 game week this week, 4 game week next week.
- 32:32Averaging 3.3 hits, 1.6 blocks and over 2 Pimms if your league
- 32:37counts that. He's a banger's beast.
- 32:39I think he's a lot. He was forgotten a lot because
- 32:41out for most of the season, but with two four-game weeks coming
- 32:44up and the banks that he's been doing, he's a no-brainer pickup
- 32:46and could last on your team all season.
- 32:48Yeah, we had some people mentioned Discord, they were
- 32:49surprised they didn't see those on our on the previous weeks
- 32:52episode. But he was like just coming back
- 32:54from injuries. So we didn't want to recommend
- 32:56somebody. And then he also had issues
- 32:57where like he's potentially been out of the lineup.
- 33:00It's like they're going to scratch him.
- 33:01Then he's like banged up. So you don't know if it's like
- 33:03injury related or like actual performance related.
- 33:06But he's not he's not the same guy.
- 33:08Like he's the same guy that he was on Nashville except with
- 33:11less minutes. So that's why it's like it's a
- 33:12little scarier. It is here because you know that
- 33:14he could have a game with 13 minutes and that just means that
- 33:17he's on the bottom of the lineup and is always susceptible to
- 33:19being scratched. But I think I think he's a
- 33:22phenomenal. He's a bangers beast because he
- 33:24broke the hit record 2 years ago last year.
- 33:28Two years ago. It's it's, it's honestly insane.
- 33:31And you're able to pick up this guy off waivers, he's going to
- 33:33get you almost two blocks, almost four hits, whatever I was
- 33:37gonna say before the shots, blocks, hits, whatever I was
- 33:39saying, yeah. But no, no, she's great.
- 33:43OK, let's go to our top three quantity goalies of the week.
- 33:46These are guys are going to get you at least two starts under
- 33:4840% owned. This week was a lot easier than
- 33:51the past week because every team actually plays as opposed to
- 33:53only having two or one games. So we got some good
- 33:57recommendations here. So let's start with. #3.
- 34:00At #3 We've got a guy who again always pops up on this list,
- 34:03Jake Allen of the New Jersey Devils.
- 34:05They have two back to backs this week, which means he's
- 34:07guaranteed 2 starts. One of the back to backs is
- 34:09Toronto, Columbus and the other is Utah, Carolina if he gets the
- 34:12Utah of that one, and then either Toronto or Columbus.
- 34:15I'm very happy with both those matchups.
- 34:17And New Jersey should be on the up and up with a lot of their
- 34:20injured guys coming back. They had the break to, you know,
- 34:22maybe like get, you know, more healthy.
- 34:25They're gonna have some practices in as a whole healthy
- 34:28team. So it can only get better for
- 34:30New Jersey essentially. And this is going to be
- 34:32quantity, but could also be quality.
- 34:35I think New Jersey as a whole is on the on the up and up right
- 34:38now. You know, Jack Use just came
- 34:39back, Timo just came back. I think the team is still, you
- 34:42know, getting some, getting some stuff under their feet, whatever
- 34:45that expression is. Yeah, exactly.
- 34:48Getting some stuff under their feet.
- 34:51Put that to the list of danger management vocabulary.
- 34:54But alas, alas is my word of the of the episode.
- 34:57And you haven't realized already like Jake Allen, I think 2
- 35:01back-to-back, you know, getting two starts.
- 35:03He also is sometimes better than Markstrom, I think.
- 35:06Yeah. So he has it in the range of
- 35:08outcomes that he can pull away with this if the team is winning
- 35:10with him and not with Markstrom. So that's always nice to nice to
- 35:14have like your back pocket when you're picking up a goalie.
- 35:16And yeah, I think both of these back to backs are are nice like
- 35:20Carolina does not intimidate me the way that.
- 35:22They used to intimidate now for now, especially with drivers
- 35:25out. Yep.
- 35:27OK, let's go to. #2. At #2 Here's an interesting one.
- 35:31We've got Connor Ingram of the Edmonton Oilers.
- 35:34They play Winnipeg, Boston, Philly next week and it seems
- 35:38like he might be taking the starting job in Edmonton because
- 35:41you know, when you trade Sue Skinner for a guy who
- 35:43immediately goes to your IR, leaves an open spot, and then
- 35:46Calvin Pickard just has shown that he's not the guy.
- 35:48Connor Green comes in, has two solid games back-to-back starts,
- 35:51which is why I'm leaning towards him being the starter.
- 35:53And I mean, we'll see how he does recording on Saturday.
- 35:57So we'll see how he does tonight.
- 35:58If he has another good game, then I think I'm confident to
- 36:01say he'll get two of these three starts if he gets lit up.
- 36:04Since they're playing Calgary, that's probably a bad look.
- 36:07So I could see Picard getting the next one.
- 36:08But right now, everything's pointing towards Ingram being
- 36:11the starter for Edmonton until Jerry comes back.
- 36:14Yep and listen, Picard we know is not that guy.
- 36:17He's just not that guy. Um, and Ingram was one of the
- 36:20worst goalies in the NHL this season, which is crazy because
- 36:24now he gets brought it to the big leagues and is actually
- 36:26succeeding in small sample size, but it's always a different
- 36:29game. We just mentioned that all the
- 36:31time, like the performance you have the AHL like yeah, you
- 36:34definitely want you're going to play well, but the fact that
- 36:36they're playing not good is not necessarily like a down in the
- 36:40world that's. Completely like it's, I find
- 36:42with like like players, if you can't do all the HL, think it
- 36:45would be shocking if you do all the NHL, but with goalies, I
- 36:47just think it's just so different because you're like,
- 36:50it's also relevant on the team in front of you, right?
- 36:51You're playing HL players. You're also playing with HL
- 36:54players. So it's I don't think it's as
- 36:57black and white. So I'm not super surprised he's
- 37:00doing this well. I'm not.
- 37:01I didn't expect him to do this well either.
- 37:02But games like. That's it.
- 37:04Like it's kind of just like if he gets it, he's the starter on
- 37:07Edmonton, which is a very nice place to be when Connor McDavid
- 37:10is playing in God Mode. Carmen David averaging like 2.5
- 37:13points per game for the last month, yeah.
- 37:16It's a good time to be McDavid owner.
- 37:18Yeah. Anna Dryside, owner.
- 37:19Yeah, wouldn't it be crazy to have both of those guys on the
- 37:21one team in fantasy? Would be crazy.
- 37:23Yeah, it would be crazy if only we had somebody that that little
- 37:26roster like that. Yeah, after acquiring every
- 37:30first round pick, I will. I will say though, it was funny
- 37:34was we just saw David Thomas Becket wasn't.
- 37:37Yeah, even waved it was. No turn.
- 37:38Contract terminated. Contract terminated and you know
- 37:40what the difference between having his contract terminated
- 37:43and contract wave was that I think.
- 37:44Is .5 mil yeah. They saved 1.2 mil by
- 37:49terminating his contract on the cap.
- 37:51If they would have just waved him they have. 1.15 step means
- 37:55they really needed that extra 0.05.
- 37:58Kevin, why do they really need that extra calf?
- 38:00Room. Well, because they have a
- 38:01contract on their roster right now for a goalie as twice as
- 38:04expensive as the guy they needed who's also not on the ice.
- 38:08Another another banger. Like, I don't know, just.
- 38:13OK, let's move on. Just debating.
- 38:15Answers why have you treated a second round pick for him to
- 38:17pick up the contract that was twice as expensive as towards
- 38:19Better for Stuart Skinner but injury prone anyway, yes.
- 38:23OK, let's go to number one at #1 We have Alex Lyon of the Buffalo
- 38:29Sabres. They play Saint Louis, Dallas,
- 38:31Columbus, too easy and one hard team, but line seems to be
- 38:34running away with a starting job.
- 38:35Buffaloes on a crazy win streak. And look, we said earlier in the
- 38:39episode that the wheels could fall off at some point, but when
- 38:42they do these wind streaks, you want their guys, you want their
- 38:44goalies, you want their scorers. And there's, I really like Lion
- 38:48was really good at the start of the season, then kind of like
- 38:51had Colton Ellis and UPL kind of fighting him for the job and so
- 38:55playing less. He had a couple of bad games,
- 38:57but now he's back to being amazing.
- 38:58So it's not like this came out of completely nowhere.
- 39:01Good schedule. He's going to get the quantity.
- 39:02So I really like Lion as a pickup.
- 39:04And I feel you might be trade bait like Lion or I feel you
- 39:07liner UPS is getting traded one of them.
- 39:09You know, analysis. The one.
- 39:11The one. Out no I.
- 39:12Think I don't think he's trade value.
- 39:14Because he doesn't have trade value.
- 39:15But I also saw like a report, maybe this is the old GM.
- 39:19I actually forget who said this, but they were just basically
- 39:21like cold analysis. Like we wanna get him more
- 39:23playing time, pretty much. OK.
- 39:25So I'm like, OK, like, that means you're the guys gotta get
- 39:28out of here. Yeah, because we're not gonna
- 39:31see, you know, that. I mean, the new GM pretty much
- 39:34said like first order of business, I need to get rid of
- 39:36this three goalie situation. So, you know, someone's going.
- 39:40It's just tough with how well Alex Line is playing and the
- 39:43team is actually winning and they have a chance at playoffs.
- 39:45I just don't see him being the one getting traded.
- 39:47I think it's more likely that it's UPL or Colton Ellis.
- 39:50So, but it's interesting. It's a little possible upside.
- 39:54If he gets treated to some contender or something like that
- 39:56then that could be nice. Even if.
- 39:58You don't get traded. Feel like it's good for him
- 40:01because it means less competition for starts and like
- 40:03that means even if his play falters you won't get like
- 40:06replaced so easily. Absolutely.
- 40:09That was in the back of my mind when picking up goalies.
- 40:11Yeah, exactly. It's always like I like the
- 40:13stream, but is there a potential that something happens and this
- 40:15while I'm randomly holding him that makes, you know, like Kevin
- 40:18randomly had Stuart Skinner and he got traded to Pittsburgh.
- 40:20Like in that case it was a downgrade.
- 40:21It was alright, but but like that stuff happens, you know,
- 40:24you stream a guy and then you get lucky with the timing and
- 40:27especially with value goes. Up with with fantasy teams that
- 40:30tend to GO0G like I think all of us we always go 0 goalie pretty
- 40:33much except Josh this year but. Never again.
- 40:37I mean, it's just one of those things that like when you go to
- 40:40your GP or your goalie room is already not the best, you have
- 40:42so much quality in front of you on your forwards and defensemen
- 40:45that when I'm making goalie streams, not only for the week,
- 40:47I'm always trying to pick up guys that have long term upside.
- 40:50Because if the situation turns in your favor, it's like so much
- 40:53extra value. So absolutely, especially on
- 40:56these streamer shows, I really like to to keep that in mind.
- 40:59Yeah, OK. Let's go to our top three
- 41:01quality goalies. These are guys are going to have
- 41:03one good match up this week. Again under 40% owned.
- 41:06Let's start with. #3. At #3 we have Sam Ursin of the
- 41:10Philadelphia Flyers. He's playing against either
- 41:12Vancouver or Calgary on that back-to-back.
- 41:15Last week we recommended Ersin because he had an easy
- 41:17back-to-back and a lot of people were Downing like Arsene numbers
- 41:20have been awful. He's sucks, why should we pick
- 41:23him up? I would never pick this guy up.
- 41:24And I was like, I hear you. I don't think he's good, but
- 41:28Philly has been solid defensively and these matchups
- 41:30are super easy and what happens? He plays against Chicago and has
- 41:33an amazing game. So look, bad goalies are bad,
- 41:37but sometimes if it's good team playing bad team, that's enough
- 41:39to overcome a bad goalie. So look, I'm not saying he's
- 41:42gonna have another amazing game, but Vancouver and Calgary are
- 41:46two of the least scary opponents.
- 41:47And like I said, Philly has been rolling, so I like him as a
- 41:50pickup. And also, you have to keep in
- 41:51mind that like, there's just so much volatility when it comes to
- 41:53goalie already that you're never going to be able to predict
- 41:57perfect goalie stats or perfect wins, even in matchups that seem
- 42:01so lopsided going into it. Like I remember we recommended
- 42:04Jonathan Quick recently, and I feel like he had two easy
- 42:07matchups and the Rangers got shut out in one of them and they
- 42:10lost. They lost both games that he
- 42:11played, and that's very surprising for Jonathan Quick.
- 42:14Like Vancouver of all teams, shut them out.
- 42:17So yeah, it's just sometimes you can happen and but.
- 42:21You gotta do the process. Yeah, exactly.
- 42:24OK, let's go to #2 and #2 we have Yonis Johansen.
- 42:29I looked it up. That's how you pronounce it,
- 42:31Kevin. And I know you didn't realize
- 42:32that, but, uh. If only somebody will probably
- 42:34illness your hands in for like 17 years.
- 42:37Yeah, exactly. So don't worry, I got to the
- 42:39bottom of it for you. But yeah, you only see answer
- 42:42the Tampa Bay Lightning. They're playing Anaheim and LA.
- 42:45And I know these don't seem like your classic easy matchups, but
- 42:48Anaheim, even though they're doing well in the standings, I'm
- 42:51not particularly scared of them playing a goalie against them.
- 42:54And LA actually cannot score a goal to save their lives.
- 42:57They I think over the past month, two months, and then you
- 43:01count on one hand the amount of games where they've scored more
- 43:03than two goals. So, so it's really, really bad
- 43:07offensively in LA. The only reason that team is a
- 43:09float is because of Darcy Kemper.
- 43:11So, so I really and Tampa's rolling also so so I like
- 43:14Johansson here. Yep, everything you just said I
- 43:17Ditto. Nice, then let's go.
- 43:20Said too. I did.
- 43:22Oh yeah, I didn't work. Just no, I think it's just
- 43:24Ditto. I really yes.
- 43:28There we go #1. At #1 we have honestly one of my
- 43:32favorites to recommend as a quality goalie start.
- 43:35He appears here anytime this team has a back-to-back and that
- 43:37is Casey De Smith of the Dallas Stars.
- 43:39They're playing Boston and Chicago this week.
- 43:41Like Boston, not the easiest match up.
- 43:43Chicago is the easiest match up. But I'm not particularly scared
- 43:46of either. And it's just it's Dallas.
- 43:48Dismiss the solid goalie. It's Dallas.
- 43:50I think that's that's all I got to say.
- 43:52Dallas, baby. That makes me think of that
- 43:54Office episode where they're they're playing.
- 43:56Dallas. Dallas.
- 43:59That was a good episode. I think that was agreed comes
- 44:02in. Is that the episode?
- 44:03No, that was the. It's the episode where they're
- 44:05doing like the garage sale type thing in the office, like
- 44:07warehouse and like, you know, Dwight's doing his like trading
- 44:11a paper clip all the way. Up to something it is.
- 44:14It is like $13 and 14 rules. Actually, exactly, yeah.
- 44:19What's the episode where they talk about they do like a
- 44:22role-playing for Cowboys? I think everybody get.
- 44:25Fired or in Savannah? Savannah Creed comma.
- 44:29Suspect. Yeah, he's like, OK, I'll be
- 44:31right back if you see. Like her Rush I love.
- 44:34That OK, Yeah. I hope we have a lot of office
- 44:37fans in the community that would make me happy.
- 44:39Yeah, I mean, that's pretty popular show, so I feel like we
- 44:42have a good shot. But yeah, that wraps up our Week
- 44:4613 waiver wire Targets and streamers episode.
- 44:50We got 10 points guys, 5 bangers guys, three guys for multiple
- 44:54goalie stars, 3 guys for quality goalie starts, one of them being
- 44:58Dallas, but she made it this far.
- 45:02We really appreciate it guys, the communities growing.
