- 0:43Speaker 4: Welcome, Welcome, Welcome. You're listening to the Sports Shock Show.
- 0:48Speaker 4: I am the Sportshock Wing Gandy. Good morning to you
- 0:53Speaker 4: out there and listening lane. We are a couple of
- 0:57Speaker 4: days from Christmas, and what a Christmas present we got
- 1:02Speaker 4: this weekend yesterday, so many good football games all around
- 1:07Speaker 4: to watch. People showed up and showed out in a
- 1:13Speaker 4: lot of games. Long weekend with the college football playoffs.
- 1:18Speaker 4: Alabama started off on Friday night as they went to
- 1:24Speaker 4: Texas am M and defeated them a lot of conversation
- 1:28Speaker 4: about that. Today, Big Kenny the funny Man himself, Commanchi
- 1:32Speaker 4: Greg is in the building. Happy Kwanza, Comanchi Greg and
- 1:38Speaker 4: Happy Honekah Bad producer to you all in the building today.
- 1:45Speaker 4: I got that wrong?
- 1:45Speaker 3: Was it better? I think you got it?
- 1:48Speaker 4: Right.
- 1:48Speaker 3: I think you got it right.
- 1:50Speaker 6: Oh he celebrates a hybrid honeker. It's like as Aa
- 1:56Speaker 6: Kwanza hybrid.
- 1:58Speaker 4: But it is the season two be jolly Monday Night
- 2:02Speaker 4: football the forty nine ers, and it's gonna be a
- 2:06Speaker 4: tight race. The thing about the last couple of weeks
- 2:08Speaker 4: is not so much about who's in. Everybody will be
- 2:12Speaker 4: trying to get that first round by so a lot
- 2:16Speaker 4: of times you start looking at games about this time
- 2:19Speaker 4: of year and think there's nothing gonna be watched. But
- 2:22Speaker 4: there's something on a lot of games teams that there's
- 2:25Speaker 4: a lot of teams up there with ten, eleven, twelve wins,
- 2:29Speaker 4: but no one has set themselves apart to say they
- 2:32Speaker 4: have won that by for the playoffs. The Jake Paul
- 2:38Speaker 4: Anthony Joshua fight happen over the weekend as well. We
- 2:43Speaker 4: got coaches throwing water bottles fifty cent performing in games.
- 2:49Speaker 4: The Cowboys. Let's start right there, Comanche, since we are
- 2:55Speaker 4: on your holiday.
- 2:56Speaker 3: Funny, I'll do this.
- 2:59Speaker 4: Ya, people do this? Can we can we move the light?
- 3:02Speaker 4: You're blocking yourself a little bit? What is this here?
- 3:04Speaker 1: Now?
- 3:04Speaker 4: You don't need to see? Only have one eye though
- 3:10Speaker 4: I only have one eye. I can barely see you
- 3:14Speaker 4: over there.
- 3:14Speaker 3: It's the rhythm. They got to keep the chemistry.
- 3:17Speaker 2: Okay, there you go, there you go, Thank you sir.
- 3:21Speaker 6: See the watery eyes and the frustrated look the Cowboys.
- 3:25Speaker 3: No, no, it is I gotta ask why people. It
- 3:29Speaker 3: is what it is.
- 3:30Speaker 4: But they are playing on Christmas Day. It's the only
- 3:34Speaker 4: game on Christmas Day. I think they're playing the Commanders
- 3:38Speaker 4: with three games, which you set up before the season,
- 3:41Speaker 4: and you would imagine why this day was set. I
- 3:45Speaker 4: still believe the NFL. You call me old school or whatever, traditionalist.
- 3:51Speaker 4: I think you could have left Christmas alone. First of all,
- 3:58Speaker 4: I think that third You're not game should already be over.
- 4:02Speaker 4: Everybody should be on the same weekend loop and Christmas
- 4:08Speaker 4: Day was okay to keep missing. You end up with
- 4:13Speaker 4: the Cowboys Commanders as one of the games, correct, Yeah,
- 4:17Speaker 4: and in that neither one of the teams, so it's
- 4:21Speaker 4: not even a game to watch. Do you shut down
- 4:25Speaker 4: Dak Prescott?
- 4:26Speaker 3: Really?
- 4:26Speaker 4: What's my question? Short week? You only got two games
- 4:30Speaker 4: to go. You're not going to the playoffs, do you?
- 4:36Speaker 4: Unless he has some kind of career he started one
- 4:39Speaker 4: hundred games in a row, do I just take Dak
- 4:42Speaker 4: Prex Scott out this game. You know it's a slippery slope,
- 4:47Speaker 4: I guess because you because now you're bringing load management
- 4:50Speaker 4: to the NFL, which is something that I mean, whether
- 4:53Speaker 4: a team is in the playoffs or not, you don't
- 4:55Speaker 4: see teams normally do that. A team like the Bengals,
- 4:59Speaker 4: Joe burn is still going to play even though the
- 5:01Speaker 4: Bengals are out Well, Joe Burrow missed, but he could
- 5:07Speaker 4: still they could. I mean if they shut him down
- 5:11Speaker 4: that I guess it wouldn't really be a big deal,
- 5:14Speaker 4: but for him to still be out there, so I'm
- 5:18Speaker 4: not well, I could see that the Cowboys would still
- 5:22Speaker 4: put Dack out there. They're still going to I mean,
- 5:25Speaker 4: these guys are still going to play whether they're in
- 5:27Speaker 4: the playoffs and can you survive Dak tearing is acl
- 5:31Speaker 4: And I'm one of those people you can never tell when.
- 5:34Speaker 4: But with that statement, is it okay? That okay, we
- 5:39Speaker 4: do what you want. Don't yell at Jerry Jones, because
- 5:44Speaker 4: that's the thing. Five minutes after the game goes on,
- 5:47Speaker 4: people are saying, see this is what Jerry problem is.
- 5:50Speaker 4: He still got and it's like, well, don't don't come
- 5:55Speaker 4: at me.
- 5:59Speaker 6: Get comfortable with load management in the NFL, or be
- 6:04Speaker 6: comfortable with your half a billion dollar quarterback tearing something
- 6:09Speaker 6: in game sixteen of seventeen weeks when.
- 6:13Speaker 4: They know they knew it in week eleven that this
- 6:17Speaker 4: was a wash for the season.
- 6:19Speaker 3: And there it's a Patrick Mahomes. He was playing when.
- 6:22Speaker 6: They they knew they ain't really have nowhere to go,
- 6:24Speaker 6: and they let him in there. And now he told
- 6:26Speaker 6: us what a cl mcl I understood, Michael Parsons.
- 6:30Speaker 3: They were battling for first place. That made sense.
- 6:33Speaker 7: But we always told even growing up when you played football,
- 6:37Speaker 7: you know you're not supposed to be out there the sphere.
- 6:42Speaker 3: It's different. When is it different because there's there's money.
- 6:47Speaker 3: I never know.
- 6:47Speaker 4: I never known well well, but that was a societal thing.
- 6:52Speaker 2: That was a society.
- 6:53Speaker 4: Every three everybody was okay, we all played through jobs.
- 7:00Speaker 3: Okay.
- 7:01Speaker 4: Then you came in where not only is the wife
- 7:05Speaker 4: get ninety days for having the kid, the husband need
- 7:10Speaker 4: sixty days just the bond. I got a bomb in
- 7:14Speaker 4: with my shirt off. You came in with my pet died.
- 7:18Speaker 4: I'm gonna need a month, paulternative. You change society. Now
- 7:21Speaker 4: you can't just keep going back and forth.
- 7:23Speaker 3: And that's all I'm saying.
- 7:25Speaker 4: You change society. So all I was asking when I
- 7:27Speaker 4: was watching this, which is a good point. That's why
- 7:32Speaker 4: our generation was trained. But in the last twenty five
- 7:36Speaker 4: years of life, we moved away from this idea. I
- 7:41Speaker 4: believe that should play it out, play it out, But
- 7:44Speaker 4: I understand that's an old because soon as it happens,
- 7:48Speaker 4: all they're gonna report on in the next day.
- 7:51Speaker 3: Give me the stephen A boys.
- 7:53Speaker 4: And yes to day as if the situation wasn't pullug.
- 7:58Speaker 6: But enough Jerry Jones, I'm gonna say his name. I'm
- 8:03Speaker 6: gonna say.
- 8:04Speaker 4: It because everybody's just the phrase, say what everybody's taking
- 8:08Speaker 4: that Jerry Jones had zero business putting Dak Prescott.
- 8:13Speaker 2: He makes a half a billion dollars a season.
- 8:16Speaker 4: They weren't even going to the concession stand. Why was
- 8:20Speaker 4: he in the game, Because Jerry Jones has a plantation
- 8:24Speaker 4: owners mentality.
- 8:26Speaker 2: What he had you heard me, You heard me?
- 8:30Speaker 3: Is that.
- 8:31Speaker 4: I mean, I would say that's about nine eight percent
- 8:35Speaker 4: of what the whole hour of that show would be.
- 8:39Speaker 4: And I'll hurt and I will Yeah, he got hurt
- 8:42Speaker 4: if he got heavy but now it's.
- 8:44Speaker 2: About me in the playoffs.
- 8:45Speaker 7: Now that they missed the playoffs again, that's what the
- 8:47Speaker 7: hour and the handsaw about.
- 8:48Speaker 4: So now I'm gonna compound not making the playoffs with
- 8:53Speaker 4: now the guy I think is my franchise quarterback playing
- 8:58Speaker 4: in an insignificant game against another team. If you think
- 9:02Speaker 4: Jade and Daniels didn't just get shut down the other
- 9:08Speaker 4: day for the same reason, he's not going to rehab
- 9:12Speaker 4: to get back to this season. No, no, no, he's not.
- 9:17Speaker 4: It's the same thing I said with Tua. Yes, it's
- 9:20Speaker 4: fifty to fifty. Did they shut two of down because
- 9:24Speaker 4: they shut him down for the reasons? For other reasons
- 9:28Speaker 4: they swept it under. He had a bad game. He
- 9:31Speaker 4: was six for ten, Well that's sixty percent. You only
- 9:34Speaker 4: let me throw the ball ten times, So what stat
- 9:37Speaker 4: in that game? You only gave me ten passes?
- 9:40Speaker 2: Hey, baseball, that's baden six hundred.
- 9:43Speaker 4: So it's the same thing. So are you shutting to
- 9:46Speaker 4: a down because of bad performance? You're shutting him down
- 9:49Speaker 4: because you don't want to get him hurt for next
- 9:51Speaker 4: season for you, or are you shutting him downcause you
- 9:53Speaker 4: don't want him to get him to hurt. So when
- 9:55Speaker 4: you try to trade him, I would say, it's the
- 9:57Speaker 4: last two things.
- 9:58Speaker 2: I will take a seat.
- 10:03Speaker 6: But but you're still putting them out there. You're putting pressure
- 10:08Speaker 6: on these athletes and now and and the only reason
- 10:11Speaker 6: I'm really really concerned about it is because of the
- 10:17Speaker 6: word attached to it, to the NFL. Load management is
- 10:22Speaker 6: everywhere else in professional sports. Not because anybody's injured, not
- 10:26Speaker 6: because anybody's in danger of being injured, just because I played.
- 10:31Speaker 3: Two games already, move for a third.
- 10:35Speaker 2: Now.
- 10:35Speaker 7: Cowboy fans probably, yeah, probably decided when Michael Parson not
- 10:41Speaker 7: gonna get to finish the season because he didn't get
- 10:43Speaker 7: to finish with y'all. But Green Bay will be able
- 10:46Speaker 7: to Unlike the Cowboys, They're gonna find a solution. They're
- 10:49Speaker 7: gonna keep going knowing that Parsons wasn't in there. And
- 10:55Speaker 7: that's the thing I'm talking about Cowboy fans is like.
- 10:57Speaker 3: I'm one of those people. I still don't.
- 10:59Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, I've heard it. I've heard it all week.
- 11:03Speaker 4: And those are not those are just centical non sports
- 11:10Speaker 4: barbershop people, barbershop people, those people who are sitting there
- 11:13Speaker 4: looking at other teams. Jerry Jones chaining Michael Parsons. I
- 11:17Speaker 4: thought was a solid move. It's a solid move. That
- 11:24Speaker 4: was their season. No, it was not. The defense actually
- 11:27Speaker 4: pays better now our defense will still been bad with him,
- 11:33Speaker 4: can't stop the run. We played better, But everybody does
- 11:39Speaker 4: this in a trade. Oh look at this and look
- 11:41Speaker 4: at that. Well, the ramifications of that is a couple
- 11:45Speaker 4: of years away.
- 11:46Speaker 6: It's not instantaneous and and for me, but bad producer. Again,
- 11:53Speaker 6: it's not just cowboy fans.
- 11:54Speaker 4: You want me to go down to cowboy fans level,
- 11:56Speaker 4: I'm gonna stay up here.
- 11:58Speaker 6: He gonna he gonna Obama you. When you go low,
- 12:01Speaker 6: he's gonna go high. But just the thing, I just
- 12:04Speaker 6: don't understand the fan period. The fans desire to have
- 12:08Speaker 6: it both ways. I'm okay with baseball and soccer and
- 12:13Speaker 6: basketball playing when they want to because they know they body.
- 12:16Speaker 6: But the football player, this man got a dislocated shoulder.
- 12:20Speaker 6: You want him to wrap it up and play the
- 12:22Speaker 6: last two insignificant games.
- 12:24Speaker 3: Is what injury does Dak have?
- 12:26Speaker 8: That?
- 12:26Speaker 4: Okay, we need to shut him down. Well, I don't
- 12:29Speaker 4: know that he has any And that's the thing. It's
- 12:32Speaker 4: about it, It's about his incentives. Package, because if they
- 12:35Speaker 4: told you as a fan, he start one more game,
- 12:38Speaker 4: he gets another ten million, and then you would be
- 12:40Speaker 4: sitting here saying, no, Jared need to shut him down.
- 12:46Speaker 3: That's how fans are.
- 12:47Speaker 4: The teams might do that anyway, and we don't know
- 12:50Speaker 4: any of their we don't know certain players in the centives,
- 12:53Speaker 4: and they get shut James in the modern day format.
- 12:56Speaker 4: As we go to commercial, I would sit that down.
- 13:01Speaker 4: We'll be back more to Sports Jock Show right after
- 13:03Speaker 4: this ship.

- 16:13Speaker 2: it to a completely different level this year where we
- 16:15Speaker 2: highlight an accolade that has taken their game to the
- 16:18Speaker 2: next level.
- 16:40Speaker 4: Take this, for example, your brother's welcome back to this spot,
- 16:44Speaker 4: Shock Shower.
- 16:44Speaker 3: I'm the sport Shock Wayne game. The good morning to
- 16:47Speaker 3: you out there and.
- 16:48Speaker 4: Listening land interesting conversation doing the breakod morning, Big Kenny COMANCHI,
- 16:53Speaker 4: Greg Bad producer, one of you out some of you
- 16:56Speaker 4: out there may be listening to Who're talking about Dak
- 17:00Speaker 4: Prescott and I was just something that hit me yesterday
- 17:03Speaker 4: once they were officially out and we were talking about
- 17:06Speaker 4: something like the NBA versus the NFL. Still today, as
- 17:14Speaker 4: much as you would like to believe the NFL sells
- 17:18Speaker 4: you teams, the NBA sells you players. Now the NFL
- 17:26Speaker 4: is starting to move towards that. But people are more
- 17:29Speaker 4: team based than they are player based.
- 17:36Speaker 3: You don't.
- 17:38Speaker 4: Necessarily run out and give up your tickets to a
- 17:41Speaker 4: football game based on somebody not being on the field. Yesterday,
- 17:47Speaker 4: the Steelers played the Detroit Lions. Well, TJ. Watt, who
- 17:52Speaker 4: is the biggest salary on the Stellers, the biggest name
- 17:56Speaker 4: on the Stellers. The viewership of that game is not
- 18:00Speaker 4: going to decrease because TJ. Watt is not playing. It's
- 18:06Speaker 4: the Stealers versus the Lions. In the NBA, it is
- 18:13Speaker 4: affected that way. You tell somebody that Anthony Edwards is
- 18:19Speaker 4: not going to play here in Atlanta in a couple
- 18:21Speaker 4: of weeks, they start adjusting their costs. They start, you know,
- 18:28Speaker 4: if they get enough time, they might cancel their whole
- 18:30Speaker 4: drive over their trip. See if I can sell the tickets.
- 18:34Speaker 4: Because I only bought this. I'm not a Timberwoolves fan
- 18:38Speaker 4: or a Hawks fan. I came to see Anthony Atwa
- 18:43Speaker 4: was play. People were not Bulls fans. That's not how
- 18:48Speaker 4: the man himself airing this. He was selling arenas as
- 18:52Speaker 4: him didn't matter.
- 18:54Speaker 9: You know.
- 18:54Speaker 4: That's why when the Wizards didn't matter where he was,
- 18:57Speaker 4: people wanted to watch him. Lebron James has the same effect.
- 19:03Speaker 4: Steph Curry has that same effect, But the NFL is
- 19:09Speaker 4: their team. They sell you a team brand. Major League
- 19:15Speaker 4: Baseball used to sell you players over the last twenty years,
- 19:19Speaker 4: they're start selling you teams more. That's why you don't
- 19:23Speaker 4: necessarily unless you follow a team. No, we used to
- 19:26Speaker 4: know the star players more for teams that I watched
- 19:31Speaker 4: the Oakland A's to see Koseko and Mark McGuire. I
- 19:36Speaker 4: watched the Pirates or the Giants to watch Barry Bonds.
- 19:40Speaker 3: Didn't.
- 19:40Speaker 4: I wasn't a Giants fan, but I wanted to see
- 19:43Speaker 4: Barry Bonds. I wanted to see Ricky Henderson still a
- 19:46Speaker 4: base or Dwight Gooden pitch.
- 19:50Speaker 3: That is more.
- 19:51Speaker 4: Now it's more team. So I was just wondering as
- 19:56Speaker 4: a cowboy, and everybody has this with these big loaded
- 20:00Speaker 4: Kyler Murray was shut down, but Arizona Cardinals because I
- 20:04Speaker 4: think they have decided to go to in another direction.
- 20:07Speaker 4: I don't need to putting him back out here. I
- 20:09Speaker 4: was just ride with Jakobe, right, He's just standing on
- 20:14Speaker 4: the sideline. Ain't nothing wrong. What are you looking for
- 20:16Speaker 4: some bandage or you know, some kind of.
- 20:19Speaker 2: Boot neck brad.
- 20:21Speaker 4: They just they just don't want to play him anymore.
- 20:26Speaker 4: It's the same situation as to it like as far
- 20:28Speaker 4: as like if we're going to trade him or whatever, Yes,
- 20:31Speaker 4: we don't really know, So the safest bet is to
- 20:33Speaker 4: put him in the garage. You ain't got no film
- 20:36Speaker 4: on it in the last I mean, that's what back
- 20:38Speaker 4: in the day it used to be.
- 20:41Speaker 3: You don't need that.
- 20:43Speaker 4: It's always it's always five or six desperate. The New
- 20:47Speaker 4: York Jets have to look in the bringing in tour.
- 20:52Speaker 4: They have to look in to bring in in Kyler
- 20:54Speaker 4: Murray versus what they feel is in the draft. They
- 20:59Speaker 4: have to the Raiders have to look. You got four
- 21:02Speaker 4: or five teams that have to look. They don't have
- 21:04Speaker 4: another choice in the matter. The guy to come and
- 21:09Speaker 4: see is there first? Or do I roll the dice.
- 21:14Speaker 4: That's how Russell Wilson and what's the guy named the
- 21:18Speaker 4: little backup to running around justin fields ended up in Pittsburgh.
- 21:24Speaker 3: You gotta look bad, producer.
- 21:29Speaker 4: In one of those two quarterbacks most likely will be
- 21:31Speaker 4: in a Jets uniform if available, and I wouldn't be
- 21:34Speaker 4: mad at the Jets. I would go draft the young
- 21:37Speaker 4: kid from Notre Dame to running back and put them
- 21:41Speaker 4: behind one of those two guys, feeling like he can
- 21:43Speaker 4: bring the balance. So all they have to do is
- 21:46Speaker 4: manage the game. There in the middle of their career.
- 21:50Speaker 4: We're gonna run the ball and find not a bad plan.
- 21:56Speaker 3: Not a bad plan.
- 21:57Speaker 4: We will see how everything starts shaping college football. Shame
- 22:02Speaker 4: on you, Thank you Oregon, Thank you, oh miss for
- 22:10Speaker 4: letting the world see we got to get past this fairness. Yeah, everybody,
- 22:21Speaker 4: we want the twelve best team.
- 22:22Speaker 2: Twelve best.
- 22:25Speaker 4: James Madison in Twulane. They didn't just louse. They was outmatched.
- 22:30Speaker 4: They was physically. I kept thinking, this cannot be the
- 22:33Speaker 4: James Madison that I saw played Georgia State. I know
- 22:37Speaker 4: you're not sending these guys out there to Oregon. Underneath
- 22:40Speaker 4: this bus saw I thought maybe I had went to
- 22:44Speaker 4: the wrong Georgia State game. Teammate of mine is the
- 22:47Speaker 4: head coach down there. Deal McGhee went to Auburn with me.
- 22:50Speaker 4: He's the head coach. I told him I was gonna
- 22:52Speaker 4: come out to a game. He told me, man, come see.
- 22:55Speaker 4: But I was thinking maybe I went to see Jerry Madison,
- 23:01Speaker 4: because when I saw you send them, you couldn't be
- 23:04Speaker 4: sending the team I saw to play the Organ Ducks,
- 23:10Speaker 4: the team that changed uniforms during halftime. Them guys, they
- 23:14Speaker 4: come out in the second half. You think something wrong
- 23:16Speaker 4: with your TV. I could have sworn they was in
- 23:19Speaker 4: yellow that for thirty What is this line? Don't you
- 23:23Speaker 4: come and you watch Orgona until you see Oregon, you
- 23:25Speaker 4: be confused. Sometimes I've never seen a team. They're rotating everything.
- 23:32Speaker 2: You got on.
- 23:33Speaker 4: You'll come out in yellow and white and they come
- 23:36Speaker 4: out in all green, and then halftime they come out
- 23:39Speaker 4: in yellow and white.
- 23:40Speaker 2: You're like, we playing ourselves.
- 23:42Speaker 4: It is something to watch, and you send them out
- 23:44Speaker 4: there underneath that bus. Saw don't look at this score.
- 23:48Speaker 4: The score was like fifty one to zero. And then
- 23:50Speaker 4: the guy took all his players out and then James
- 23:54Speaker 4: Madison scored. People were mad that organ didn't cover like
- 23:58Speaker 4: it was like fifty one years it was. It was
- 24:01Speaker 4: like forty eight thirteen. Yes, and then old boy he
- 24:06Speaker 4: called like, okay, that's enough and then they got a touchdown.
- 24:10Speaker 4: Old mouth man didn't tak enough of beatificial lamp.
- 24:16Speaker 2: Now we'll be back Worstock show right after this.
- 24:30Speaker 9: Don't Go Away four of the Sports Jos Show, with
- 24:33Speaker 9: Wayne Gandidias coming up next.
- 24:37Speaker 12: Nobody had to tell your grandparents not to drive all
- 24:40Speaker 12: using their typewriters.
- 24:43Speaker 2: Why should it be any different for us kids? And
- 24:45Speaker 2: our cell phones. Distracted driving was the cause of more
- 24:48Speaker 2: than three thousand deaths in twenty twenty two. Come on,
- 24:52Speaker 2: we're smarter than this. Let's put down the phones and
- 24:55Speaker 2: focus on the roads. Drive safe, everybody, don't drive distract.

- 26:44Speaker 15: And Andy.
- 26:48Speaker 3: In the razo.
- 26:56Speaker 13: Just Esse.
- 27:11Speaker 4: Jesse, Jesse, Jesse, Welcome back to this sport Shock show.
- 27:18Speaker 4: I'm the Sports Shock Wayne. Can the good morning to
- 27:20Speaker 4: you out there? Happy Holidays to you. It is Monday
- 27:24Speaker 4: night football. The forty nine ers who will be going
- 27:28Speaker 4: to Indy Indy has the win out to have any
- 27:31Speaker 4: chance of making the playoffs. Philip Rivers is supposed to
- 27:35Speaker 4: start this game the forty nine ers, whether it's Brock Perdy,
- 27:39Speaker 4: Matt Jones. Matt Jones will be one of those guys
- 27:41Speaker 4: that could be in a Jets uniform or a Raider
- 27:45Speaker 4: uniform where you sit there and you think, Okay, the
- 27:50Speaker 4: young kid, like I said, from Notre Dame to running back,
- 27:53Speaker 4: grab him, give he is the Christian McCaffrey of this draft.
- 28:00Speaker 4: Matt Jones. Get him a run game, Get him a
- 28:04Speaker 4: run game, Get him a run game, and see what
- 28:08Speaker 4: Matt Jones can do. Or do I go draft whoever?
- 28:11Speaker 4: These unknown quarterbacks? I don't even know Carson Beck, who's
- 28:14Speaker 4: the highest rated uh NFL Bernando Mendoza, the Heisman Trophy
- 28:20Speaker 4: winner projected that's the number one pick. And even before
- 28:24Speaker 4: he won the when he was going to Kenny, send him,
- 28:26Speaker 4: send him to get Matt Jones, Mac Jones, Matt Jones.
- 28:29Speaker 3: But I was going to ask you real quick when
- 28:31Speaker 3: you brought Jeremiah Love, is it is?
- 28:35Speaker 2: Are we are?
- 28:36Speaker 4: Is it okay now to draft a running back? Number one?
- 28:40Speaker 4: It was always okay, you're talking to old lineman? Is
- 28:48Speaker 4: a special ka Johnna Carter I played with Kajana. The
- 28:52Speaker 4: only thing johna issue was when he was at Penn State.
- 28:58Speaker 4: The holes were too big, and it hurt him when
- 29:04Speaker 4: he got to the league. It's not good for your
- 29:07Speaker 4: O line to be Everything just was open. He was
- 29:13Speaker 4: always running the ball back like it was a kick return.
- 29:16Speaker 11: And in.
- 29:20Speaker 2: College you can create a five six yard.
- 29:29Speaker 3: Ali allie alie as Madden called it.
- 29:32Speaker 4: So you're watching it, it's like, hit the hole, hit
- 29:35Speaker 4: the hole. All y'all go to he should hit the
- 29:36Speaker 4: hole and it's like, yeah, you should have hit that
- 29:38Speaker 4: big hole in the pros the hole.
- 29:40Speaker 3: I'm telling you.
- 29:40Speaker 2: You say there, like what hold you're talking about sports jock.
- 29:44Speaker 4: It was a moment that the d tackle and the
- 29:47Speaker 4: linebacker were about nine inches separated. That's the hole in
- 29:53Speaker 4: the NFL, right, that was the hole. Hit it that
- 29:57Speaker 4: little gap, it's the whole Go up in there and
- 30:02Speaker 4: get that. And because John Carter wasn't he never could
- 30:05Speaker 4: change like that. But he had all the skill set.
- 30:08Speaker 4: Nice guy loved to play with him, fast, those kind
- 30:12Speaker 4: of things, and he battle through injuries. But I never
- 30:16Speaker 4: thought there are one or two special backs. Gent was
- 30:21Speaker 4: a good pick b Jeon robertson those guys. You have
- 30:27Speaker 4: to get those guys when they are getting there. Kyle
- 30:34Speaker 4: Pitts even here for Atlanta, he was not the wrong
- 30:38Speaker 4: pick as far as what he had displayed.
- 30:42Speaker 3: He's just lazy.
- 30:43Speaker 2: We need to play at Florida every time's all time.
- 30:46Speaker 4: He needed some some of that old school Mike Dick
- 30:49Speaker 4: where you could actually send your veterans over there and
- 30:51Speaker 4: slap him in practice and just start a fight with him.
- 30:54Speaker 4: But he can't do that anymore. They cover it and
- 30:56Speaker 4: you get suspended, which is crazy. I don't know how
- 30:58Speaker 4: you get suspended for a fight in practice. But since
- 31:01Speaker 4: y'all have the sides, y'all need a view. So but
- 31:05Speaker 4: when those once you just hope I can get them
- 31:07Speaker 4: and motivate them. So when I watched the Love Kid,
- 31:11Speaker 4: he looks like a top ten running back. He looks
- 31:14Speaker 4: like a guy that man if I can get him
- 31:16Speaker 4: to keep doing that. But that's the role that might
- 31:23Speaker 4: not be five or six, but there is least the
- 31:26Speaker 4: first the guy who leads the country in rushing and
- 31:29Speaker 4: stuff like that. You gotta look at this person. You
- 31:32Speaker 4: can't if you sitting there because the run game, as
- 31:34Speaker 4: you can see is still there. They fools you because
- 31:40Speaker 4: one or two guys can control the traffic themselves. Everybody
- 31:45Speaker 4: thought they were gonna find this quarterback that could do that,
- 31:48Speaker 4: and that's not true. It's just not true. Now with
- 31:52Speaker 4: the college situation, as I said, one thing, I'll say this,
- 31:55Speaker 4: and this is no criticism, this is just what the
- 31:57Speaker 4: facts are. The big Power four that they call them
- 32:02Speaker 4: now even when they were the Power five those conferences
- 32:06Speaker 4: we recruit the Sun Belt. The Sun Belt loses their
- 32:12Speaker 4: best players. They look right now, they're scouting tape and
- 32:19Speaker 4: if you were the top tight end at App State,
- 32:24Speaker 4: you're on your way to Florida.
- 32:28Speaker 3: That's what they do.
- 32:29Speaker 4: That's what a lot of you talk to the Sun
- 32:30Speaker 4: Belt coaches. They're upset because they have become the breeding ground.
- 32:38Speaker 3: That's where you go.
- 32:40Speaker 4: That's why, and that's one of the only good things
- 32:42Speaker 4: about the whole transferred portal.
- 32:45Speaker 2: Now you don't have to just go shine at App State.
- 32:49Speaker 4: At app State, in two years you be running the
- 32:52Speaker 4: ball for Georgia in the SEC Championship and the commentator
- 32:56Speaker 4: will be saying, you know, he's a transfer from app State.
- 33:00Speaker 3: And that's just when it is.
- 33:01Speaker 4: It can play in that like, I'll go to Appstate
- 33:05Speaker 4: play for two years sometime to tell.
- 33:07Speaker 6: You you, yesterday I'm watching I think it was uh
- 33:13Speaker 6: Arizona State play. Uh it's basketball? Was it Kansas somebody?
- 33:23Speaker 6: Like the Arizona State played yesterday? They had a kid
- 33:26Speaker 6: on Arizona State who declared for one team in twenty
- 33:33Speaker 6: twenty two, I believe it was. And he's been to
- 33:39Speaker 6: four schools, like he declared for one undeclared, declared for
- 33:44Speaker 6: another undeclared, and then went to uh CAL State Northridge
- 33:50Speaker 6: and played. And now he's at Arizona State. And you've
- 33:56Speaker 6: been in like two years in college basketball for four teams.
- 34:01Speaker 4: And that's you know, well, thinking about it. The Diego Poppya,
- 34:03Speaker 4: the quarterback from Random Miill. He went from JUCO two
- 34:08Speaker 4: years ago to being a Heisman candidate two seasons ago
- 34:13Speaker 4: he was a JUCO player. Yeah, that fast, And that's
- 34:17Speaker 4: just gonna be how it is. Kinnessaust State here locally
- 34:22Speaker 4: one whatever that conference you whatever they want or whatever,
- 34:27Speaker 4: the American Conference, whatever something they want. Trust me, two
- 34:30Speaker 4: or three of those guys gone, they gone, They're somewhere else.
- 34:35Speaker 4: Whoever they are two or three main players or somewhere else.
- 34:38Speaker 4: Hopefully Auburn came and got two or three of them.
- 34:41Speaker 4: That's what you do, you go, pops, now. But I
- 34:46Speaker 4: said all that to say, you could really tell a
- 34:48Speaker 4: difference between Oregon and Ole Miss playing against Tulane and
- 34:56Speaker 4: James Madison, and it just quickly made me like, this
- 35:00Speaker 4: is what the whole thing is. Why Notre Dame isn't
- 35:02Speaker 4: there because you just felt like Notre Dame being in
- 35:06Speaker 4: the place of either one of those two teams probably
- 35:09Speaker 4: would have defeated Old Miss or defeated Oregon, but those
- 35:14Speaker 4: other two teams they didn't. They looked like a homecoming
- 35:18Speaker 4: game for Old Miss. It looked like a homecoming.
- 35:22Speaker 2: Game or organ looked like how Old Miss used to
- 35:24Speaker 2: get beat.
- 35:25Speaker 4: Old Miss used to get beat. So college, let's not
- 35:29Speaker 4: go with that. Let's be fair. Well, you missed the
- 35:33Speaker 4: window on that. Now it's about the twelve best team.
- 35:36Speaker 6: And now when you say it's about twelve best teams,
- 35:39Speaker 6: I keep thinking back to our dearly departed correspondent Sterling
- 35:43Speaker 6: Stewart Junior, who used to as an athletic director, say
- 35:49Speaker 6: that sometimes we got to take these bumps and bruises
- 35:52Speaker 6: for our program to be recognized.
- 35:54Speaker 3: Now.
- 35:55Speaker 6: I saw the James Madison Oregon game, and Oregon Oh
- 36:00Speaker 6: Miss have beaten teams as bad as they beat those
- 36:04Speaker 6: people in these playoff games, and they were teams that
- 36:09Speaker 6: didn't need the notoriety, teams that didn't need the visibility.
- 36:14Speaker 6: So now when you talk about a tu Lane, I
- 36:18Speaker 6: was surprised to see Tulane playing Oh Miss. I've known
- 36:21Speaker 6: tu Lane for decades, never seen them on this stage.
- 36:25Speaker 6: James Madison the same way, never seen them on this stage.
- 36:28Speaker 6: And they lost, but they received what some people who
- 36:32Speaker 6: are fans and staff and players of this program will
- 36:36Speaker 6: consider very valuable visible.
- 36:38Speaker 3: No whatever, but we're not.
- 36:40Speaker 6: We're past that though, you saying those days are over,
- 36:43Speaker 6: that the visibility only matters to you if you need it.
- 36:47Speaker 4: The rest of the sport could do without that. Either
- 36:50Speaker 4: you get your program to play big boy football or
- 36:53Speaker 4: you don't. Yeah, but all that pacifying, that, that feel
- 36:56Speaker 4: good story, that stuff is over.
- 36:59Speaker 7: Yeah, they trying to basically, they trying to create that
- 37:02Speaker 7: Cinderella in football. This is not d NCAA sixty four.
- 37:06Speaker 7: You're not gonna get It's not James Madison basketball. You
- 37:09Speaker 7: can have two or three players to make a difference football.
- 37:11Speaker 7: You got eighty something we need. I'm saying maybe.
- 37:15Speaker 6: Because of how the recruiting, because it used to be
- 37:18Speaker 6: you see us on that stage now when someone comes from.
- 37:21Speaker 4: But now I'm totally plugged in. And that's what and
- 37:24Speaker 4: that's what I'm saying, that is that is the old
- 37:27Speaker 4: model and that model is gone.
- 37:29Speaker 6: Just like keeping the quarterback in in week sixteen when
- 37:33Speaker 6: you know you're not going to the playoffs, we need
- 37:35Speaker 6: to change that.
- 37:36Speaker 4: Yeah, even in your schedule of your regular season, you
- 37:39Speaker 4: have to find you can't play. We'll give you one
- 37:42Speaker 4: of those little cupcakes. The next people need to be
- 37:46Speaker 4: somebody of substantial capability. You gotta pay meat and potato. Yeah,
- 37:51Speaker 4: you gotta play people that.
- 37:55Speaker 2: Have a chance. It can't be you can't have too
- 37:58Speaker 2: many of those not the chance games anymore.
- 38:02Speaker 3: And you don't necessarily have to be undefeated like a
- 38:05Speaker 3: lot of times to be ranked. How you have.
- 38:09Speaker 4: Bama was the only undefeated team. Everyone else had at
- 38:13Speaker 4: least one loss. So it's going to be more competitive.
- 38:16Speaker 4: It's just like, just get the most wins. It doesn't
- 38:19Speaker 4: have to be like you have to beat everybody by thirty.
- 38:22Speaker 4: Just have the most wins and you'll have a chance
- 38:25Speaker 4: at the end and then the people you may lose to.
- 38:27Speaker 2: For the smaller schools.
- 38:28Speaker 3: Now there's the exposure.
- 38:30Speaker 4: Was when there were not money flying around, right, money
- 38:35Speaker 4: flying money flying around. Now money changes thing. We'll be
- 38:39Speaker 4: back more to sports shop shows right after this.
- 38:44Speaker 2: One thing that you got is one munkey, don't stop,
- 38:47Speaker 2: no shoulder. If you want to do baby, go ahead
- 38:51Speaker 2: and walk.
- 38:52Speaker 1: Out of the don't one thing that you Gottam Milton's
- 38:56Speaker 1: one munkey, don't stop, no shoulders.
- 38:59Speaker 2: J't boll Way.

- 42:18Speaker 2: That's who it is, a Bank of Americas.
- 42:22Speaker 4: All that other stuff don't really matter anymore, uh NFL action.
- 42:27Speaker 4: Yesterday the Stealers beating the Lions yesterday, twenty nine, twenty
- 42:33Speaker 4: four game in which Pittsburgh, for a lot of people,
- 42:36Speaker 4: they thought they were gonna lose. Now they have moved
- 42:40Speaker 4: up to nine and six. The Lions have to win
- 42:43Speaker 4: their last two and hope that green Bay loses their
- 42:47Speaker 4: last two. Now green Bay does play, I want to
- 42:50Speaker 4: say Baltimore is coming week. Yes, Baltimore has to win
- 42:56Speaker 4: that game. A lot of things happened yesterday with the
- 42:58Speaker 4: Stellers winning this game. Now the Steelers just have to
- 43:01Speaker 4: win one of their last two games and they win
- 43:04Speaker 4: a division this week. They'll play the Browns the last game,
- 43:09Speaker 4: and if they win against the Browns it makes the
- 43:12Speaker 4: last game against the Ravens Nolan void. They will win
- 43:16Speaker 4: that division and have a home playoff game the Lions.
- 43:23Speaker 4: It was a good game. It was really a really,
- 43:25Speaker 4: really good game. Yesterday came down to literally the last
- 43:29Speaker 4: play of the game. DK Metcalf. The biggest story out
- 43:34Speaker 4: of that DK Metcalf and how that will affect the
- 43:38Speaker 4: Stellers this week. You should look up the video. He
- 43:41Speaker 4: goes over and gets in a fan face, which I
- 43:47Speaker 4: know that's hard to imagine in a football arena, but
- 43:51Speaker 4: the fan is behind the Steeler bench. DK Metcalf walks
- 43:55Speaker 4: what looks to be a good ten yards reach is up,
- 44:00Speaker 4: shoves the fan kind of threw a little punch at him.
- 44:05Speaker 4: The fan even clapped after DK did it. Why because
- 44:09Speaker 4: I can take this to court. He wished me a
- 44:13Speaker 4: merry Christmas with y'all just hold out to about the meal,
- 44:19Speaker 4: about Valentine's Day and everybody gonna get something. You know
- 44:24Speaker 4: I could for Christmas because you saw me, Mama, that
- 44:28Speaker 4: one was for you, but I just took that was
- 44:31Speaker 4: for the family.
- 44:32Speaker 2: For Christmas.
- 44:33Speaker 3: We gonna get a million, minimum, three hundred thous. I'm
- 44:35Speaker 3: a Lions fan.
- 44:36Speaker 1: I just I just was.
- 44:38Speaker 3: Of course, of course I am. No I want that'd
- 44:41Speaker 3: be underneath my I'm a Lions.
- 44:42Speaker 4: Fan because I'm gonna go to court lying behind my
- 44:45Speaker 4: neck at my back, just and the trauma. I can't
- 44:49Speaker 4: even go to football game anymore because the trauma of
- 44:53Speaker 4: me seeing the football make me.
- 44:56Speaker 21: I'm sorry, did somebody say driving by for Shortsfield every time,
- 45:05Speaker 21: every time we see a terrible towel.
- 45:08Speaker 4: He said the word terrible. It's filtering into my dreams.
- 45:13Speaker 4: But DK, definitely we will see. Someone asked me about
- 45:18Speaker 4: it because I was watching the game, and truly, if
- 45:23Speaker 4: we wasn't in the Christmas spirit, you know, in the
- 45:25Speaker 4: Christmas we don't really like to do brutal oceans. But
- 45:30Speaker 4: no reason, there's no words. I was doing the Stiller
- 45:35Speaker 4: podcast last night, locked on Steller's Still a swad show.
- 45:39Speaker 4: You can go to YouTube and watch it, and I
- 45:42Speaker 4: basically said, it was all of first and foremost all
- 45:45Speaker 4: about the distance. It's one thing to be an arena,
- 45:49Speaker 4: and now with all these new arenas, the fans are
- 45:52Speaker 4: not right behind you. There have been some venues in
- 45:56Speaker 4: college where the fans are handing you a time to
- 46:00Speaker 4: wipe your sweat. That's how close they are. But you
- 46:03Speaker 4: can see DK walking over. The whole thing is the
- 46:08Speaker 4: guy that he punched says that he didn't like being
- 46:13Speaker 4: called by his government name, which is the decarious or
- 46:21Speaker 4: something that the Kaitlin and and and if you want
- 46:27Speaker 4: to be mad at anybody, be mad at your parents
- 46:30Speaker 4: for coming up with the Kaitlin. I'm saying, I'm just
- 46:34Speaker 4: calling you. Mama named him Clay. I'm gonna call him Clay,
- 46:37Speaker 4: and I'm just calling you with your mamma name you.
- 46:39Speaker 2: But you want to swing on me? But living with
- 46:42Speaker 2: how your whole life, It's been funny.
- 46:44Speaker 7: I've seen you like, bring in, bring on someone I guess,
- 46:47Speaker 7: and you call them by their real name, and then
- 46:49Speaker 7: first there is shocked, and then they were like, oh
- 46:51Speaker 7: that is my name. You like Algae and something. A
- 46:54Speaker 7: couple of guys you go. But I'm just saying the
- 46:56Speaker 7: shock that you hear this is the reason why you're mad.
- 46:59Speaker 7: And you went and pulled this fan and you're about
- 47:02Speaker 7: to catch a fine because he said you're real.
- 47:05Speaker 6: But now but now, in all seriousness, I joke about
- 47:12Speaker 6: being able to take this to court, But I can't
- 47:14Speaker 6: take this to court now. Had you swung on me
- 47:17Speaker 6: and I went to extra mile and fell out my
- 47:19Speaker 6: seat over the railing, Oh you're to the ground. Now
- 47:22Speaker 6: it's on you and the Pittsburgh Stealers because y'all don't
- 47:26Speaker 6: ford for y'all in constructed this place all hazard lee
- 47:30Speaker 6: and now you got these unruly.
- 47:33Speaker 2: Savage players just attacking fans and nobody did anything to help.
- 47:37Speaker 6: And what does the NFL have to do to make
- 47:40Speaker 6: sure that nobody else, not not decarrious, not anybody gets.
- 47:46Speaker 3: The urge to go grab a fan and punch them.
- 47:49Speaker 4: He's gonna get fine, and he's gonna get suspended a game.
- 47:54Speaker 4: Y'all can afford that?
- 47:56Speaker 3: Excuse me?
- 47:56Speaker 4: I said, what if I figured I can afford that
- 47:59Speaker 4: and punch me somebody else you can afford what to
- 48:03Speaker 4: get suspended for a game? I'm saying, what happens when
- 48:06Speaker 4: the player when that's the only penalty that suspended a
- 48:10Speaker 4: game means no game check. Yeah, okay, so you just
- 48:14Speaker 4: gave up two three, four hundred thousand dollars. Hold on,
- 48:19Speaker 4: he gave like two million, So I can't get I'm
- 48:22Speaker 4: just saying I.
- 48:24Speaker 2: Can't get that.
- 48:25Speaker 6: So you're hoping that I can't get that back in
- 48:28Speaker 6: the playoffs? In the NBA player like who was the.
- 48:32Speaker 3: I know you won't get it back in the playoffs.
- 48:33Speaker 6: I'm saying when the player, when the player through the ball,
- 48:36Speaker 6: what was his name through the basketball and he joked,
- 48:42Speaker 6: I'll just get it back in the NBA playoff. That
- 48:44Speaker 6: was his mentality, Like this is not really going to
- 48:46Speaker 6: cost me. Well, he got fined, he got fined if
- 48:49Speaker 6: he gets suspended for a game. Right now, getting fined
- 48:54Speaker 6: and suspended for a game, what what happens when you
- 48:57Speaker 6: run into a player that figures it?
- 48:59Speaker 3: Don't to me.
- 49:01Speaker 6: If all I'm losing is a game check. I done
- 49:04Speaker 6: played sixteen of these games at three million dollars a game,
- 49:08Speaker 6: I can give up this one.
- 49:10Speaker 2: Okay. Security was walking over there with him also in
- 49:13Speaker 2: the So.
- 49:14Speaker 6: The NFL doesn't have to go any further with a
- 49:18Speaker 6: multi game suspension.
- 49:20Speaker 3: I wouldn't.
- 49:21Speaker 4: What I saw was a fine okay, and a suspension. Okay,
- 49:26Speaker 4: so you get double the money penalty, No, whatever the
- 49:30Speaker 4: fine is they have. Remember in the CBA, you have
- 49:34Speaker 4: amounts you.
- 49:35Speaker 6: Can't I'm saying, so there's five hundred thousand, say that's
- 49:39Speaker 6: the for punching a fan.
- 49:40Speaker 4: Five hundred thousand plus a game check would be five
- 49:42Speaker 4: hundred thousand. It'd be something seventy five.
- 49:45Speaker 6: Thousand, seventy five thousand plus a game check. And that's
- 49:49Speaker 6: that's it. And then whatever I got to deal with
- 49:52Speaker 6: in court with this.
- 49:53Speaker 4: Man, then whatever that is, as far as if he
- 49:56Speaker 4: sues you, and then you will be on a list
- 49:59Speaker 4: that if this infraction happens again, like four games or
- 50:03Speaker 4: six games.
- 50:04Speaker 6: Okay, So that's where that's the part I'm looking for,
- 50:08Speaker 6: because it makes it sound like each time I pay
- 50:11Speaker 6: my fine, my record gets reset and I don't have
- 50:14Speaker 6: to account for that.
- 50:15Speaker 4: Okay, So never it's it's always cumulative, okay, and these
- 50:20Speaker 4: these kind of infractions are cumulative, uh, through your whole career.
- 50:27Speaker 4: So things reset as the season right resets and some
- 50:34Speaker 4: things just carry on. Okay, this is a carryout like
- 50:38Speaker 4: Draymond all the stuff that he's done, right, and that's
- 50:43Speaker 4: what that takes. That that's taken into consideration. Okay, We'll
- 50:46Speaker 4: be back more the Sports Shock Show right after this.
- 50:49Speaker 4: That later you might be sad that you played yourself
- 50:51Speaker 4: because you stepped up, just muffed out and it's just
- 50:54Speaker 4: one limit you got snuffed out.
- 50:56Speaker 3: Because Ryman is serious.
- 50:57Speaker 2: I'm I'm like.

- 53:00Speaker 2: And now back to the Sports Job. Wayne Gamdy.
- 53:05Speaker 1: Center cord on sports News Gossip, blah blah blah.
- 53:32Speaker 4: One of the meanest and the Welcome back to the
- 53:35Speaker 4: sport Shock Show. I'm the Sports Shock Win Gamdy. Good
- 53:38Speaker 4: morning to you out there and listening land. We were
- 53:40Speaker 4: just talking about DK Metcalf of the Stellers and and
- 53:42Speaker 4: we will find out hopefully quickly with the NFL. So
- 53:47Speaker 4: when the Steelers go into practice on Wednesday, uh, they
- 53:50Speaker 4: will already understand whether he will be available for the
- 53:54Speaker 4: Cleveland Browns or not. I know Big Kenny mentioned the
- 53:57Speaker 4: Desmond Bine. The only thing with Desmond Bine was that
- 54:00Speaker 4: was out on the court against an opponent. It's not
- 54:04Speaker 4: like Desmond bang took the ball over to the stands
- 54:07Speaker 4: and hit a fan.
- 54:09Speaker 3: He was out there.
- 54:10Speaker 4: So that's why a lot of times those things can
- 54:13Speaker 4: only be a fine. If DK had done na on
- 54:17Speaker 4: NBA violence is okay, well no, no, he he got
- 54:21Speaker 4: ejected for that act and he got fined. If DK
- 54:25Speaker 4: had swung on the field, We've seen players get ejected
- 54:28Speaker 4: and get a fine. You going over to the sideline
- 54:32Speaker 4: interacting with a fan is a whole nother situation. So
- 54:37Speaker 4: it'll be interesting. Could it be two games?
- 54:39Speaker 3: Sure?
- 54:41Speaker 4: So as a stealer fan, you had to hope that
- 54:43Speaker 4: it's just one game and a fine towards DK. But
- 54:48Speaker 4: you could tell it's just a bad situation for him,
- 54:51Speaker 4: and for the most part, didn't look like any of
- 54:54Speaker 4: his teammates even saw what was going on because it
- 54:57Speaker 4: was a tense moment in the game late in the
- 55:00Speaker 4: first half. I want to say it was when this
- 55:02Speaker 4: happened where you would imagine, how did you even hear
- 55:05Speaker 4: the fan?
- 55:06Speaker 6: I was going to ask you when I saw that yesterday.
- 55:08Speaker 6: I was going to say, from a coaching perspective, maybe
- 55:11Speaker 6: even from a teammate perspective, where do you.
- 55:14Speaker 3: Rate dkse focus?
- 55:16Speaker 2: Man?
- 55:16Speaker 6: How you even over there talking to somebody in the
- 55:20Speaker 6: stands when it's really I mean, you know it's serious
- 55:24Speaker 6: over here.
- 55:24Speaker 4: Well, I think this is what teams remember. DK Metcalf
- 55:29Speaker 4: was projected to be a first rounder. He had the
- 55:31Speaker 4: talent of the first rounder, but he went maybe the
- 55:35Speaker 4: third or fourth round when he came out correct.
- 55:39Speaker 3: Something like that. It went to old miss, right, Yeah,
- 55:42Speaker 3: went to old miss.
- 55:44Speaker 4: You know a lot of people couldn't understand based on
- 55:46Speaker 4: his speed and size and all that what happened. Okay,
- 55:49Speaker 4: second round, but it was more of an attitude thing,
- 55:52Speaker 4: and maybe that's what it is that they noticed right
- 55:55Speaker 4: there about him.
- 55:58Speaker 7: Go ahead, Remember a couple of weeks ago I was
- 56:01Speaker 7: talking about like the Steelers this picking up a Jalen
- 56:04Speaker 7: Ramsey DK Metcalf. That's not like type of Steeler go
- 56:07Speaker 7: out to pick up that high end or that high
- 56:10Speaker 7: profile type of pre agency. Even Steeler fans they if
- 56:17Speaker 7: Steller fans travel, they would have protected him. He wouldn't
- 56:20Speaker 7: even had to do that. Old steel fans, they would
- 56:22Speaker 7: have handled that situation for him in the in the
- 56:26Speaker 7: stands if they felt like that he was being targeted
- 56:29Speaker 7: by the fan. But I'm just just these type of players,
- 56:32Speaker 7: these high profile It's just the Steelers organization has really changed.
- 56:36Speaker 7: Have you have you do you really think that in
- 56:38Speaker 7: the last couple of years with trying to win for
- 56:41Speaker 7: Mike Tomlin right now, we're gonna win right now and
- 56:44Speaker 7: just instead of being the Steelers just growing and building
- 56:48Speaker 7: that team.
- 56:49Speaker 4: I think that a lot of teams are changing. There's
- 56:52Speaker 4: still a way of the kind of player they would
- 56:55Speaker 4: be looking for in twenty twenty five doesn't exist. A
- 56:58Speaker 4: lot of times, you don't have that anymore. You don't
- 57:03Speaker 4: even have You won't even have guys coming from college hungry,
- 57:07Speaker 4: they won't have the same story. They won't have that.
- 57:11Speaker 4: I got drafted with five hundred dollars in mind bank
- 57:16Speaker 4: account I didn't which I didn't even have. I just
- 57:21Speaker 4: had an old savings account that my mom started when
- 57:24Speaker 4: I was five or six years old, So I had
- 57:26Speaker 4: never even had official bank account. Nobody will have that
- 57:31Speaker 4: story anymore. Nobody just to go and be on scholarship
- 57:38Speaker 4: teams are now collectively paying guys. Each player out there
- 57:41Speaker 4: is getting thirty five forty thousand dollars just to be
- 57:44Speaker 4: on the team. So nobody will even have that kind
- 57:47Speaker 4: of story. So where would the Stillers start finding these
- 57:50Speaker 4: overlooked mindset kind of guys. That's what you have to realize.
- 57:58Speaker 4: So you start having to deal with personalities and things
- 58:02Speaker 4: high profile, and I don't know, I think the Stills
- 58:03Speaker 4: I've always dealt with, from Plexico to Antonio Brown to Anthony,
- 58:08Speaker 4: They've always George Pickens. They've always had a receiver that
- 58:12Speaker 4: was wired a little different that Mike Tomlin had had
- 58:17Speaker 4: the manage, So this is not his first having to
- 58:19Speaker 4: manage somebody with that kind.
- 58:22Speaker 20: Of you know.
- 58:23Speaker 6: So because you forget that, mister big Check, mister big
- 58:27Speaker 6: Chess started.
- 58:31Speaker 3: Forget Hall of Fame.
- 58:35Speaker 2: Mister Chess was very humble. He was like before all
- 58:39Speaker 2: the way he is.
- 58:40Speaker 3: I think he's always been like.
- 58:42Speaker 7: He made, but he wasn't flamboyant until I remember he
- 58:46Speaker 7: went live and all that, and then he just decided
- 58:50Speaker 7: to internet made him.
- 58:51Speaker 2: He got the name smoke to he was INBGH that
- 58:55Speaker 2: was and Leveon Bell that was.
- 58:59Speaker 4: That was Garrett Blunt and Antonio Brown after his first
- 59:04Speaker 4: season became a b So. I don't know what you're
- 59:08Speaker 4: trying to lay. He was just he said, and we
- 59:11Speaker 4: kicked that kicker on the return. That yeah, that's that's
- 59:14Speaker 4: at about two years in though the rookie.
- 59:17Speaker 3: He's a rookie. We did that.
- 59:21Speaker 4: So but but d k uh, it's in a little
- 59:27Speaker 4: trouble and that's a black eye that the Stellers and
- 59:32Speaker 4: I don't know. It's on a one year contract, two
- 59:34Speaker 4: year contract DK. Yeah, he had just signed an extension.
- 59:37Speaker 4: I think it was like for four years. Okay, so
- 59:40Speaker 4: they have to ride with him for a little while.
- 59:43Speaker 4: But that was definitely an emotional and you could tell
- 59:45Speaker 4: even when he came back the next two or three
- 59:47Speaker 4: play dropped the easy slant ball. Uh, it was still
- 59:50Speaker 4: on his mind that man, I am messed up, and
- 59:53Speaker 4: it's still on his mind.
- 59:56Speaker 2: This is not just over.
- 59:58Speaker 3: When I walked back to the bench.
- 1:00:00Speaker 6: And I always start to wonder, and this is just
- 1:00:04Speaker 6: me projecting onto someone like a DK Metcalf. You would
- 1:00:07Speaker 6: imagine that that was first year, first mid season, DK.
- 1:00:14Speaker 6: He's been in the league. Now, how many years? Eight?
- 1:00:17Speaker 3: Yes? Yeah, I think this is year seven.
- 1:00:22Speaker 2: Yes, he would think you'd learned to.
- 1:00:24Speaker 4: Block it out by now, DK, You on you with
- 1:00:26Speaker 4: your second team. Now you think you to learn to
- 1:00:30Speaker 4: block it out by now. But man and blue hair,
- 1:00:32Speaker 4: and listen, listen, listen.
- 1:00:35Speaker 6: What I'm saying is this, we live in an error
- 1:00:39Speaker 6: where people go into the stadium and not only do
- 1:00:42Speaker 6: they have on blue hair, but no shirt and it's
- 1:00:45Speaker 6: fourteen degrees and he's standing up there with his shirt off,
- 1:00:49Speaker 6: in his blue hair, and he calling You would DK say,
- 1:00:52Speaker 6: people be calling them from the stands, and you block
- 1:00:55Speaker 6: all of that out and you play the game, because,
- 1:00:57Speaker 6: as you said earlier off air, you got to learn
- 1:01:01Speaker 6: to let some of that stuff slide. You have a
- 1:01:04Speaker 6: different mission right now, and now this is reverberating throughout
- 1:01:09Speaker 6: the league. And you could have saved yourself all that
- 1:01:11Speaker 6: trouble by controlling yourself after a huge win.
- 1:01:14Speaker 4: This is what the Steelers have to answer questions about
- 1:01:16Speaker 4: twenty nine twenty four stealers over the Lions. Everything the
- 1:01:20Speaker 4: Steelers want is in their hands and their control. Everything
- 1:01:23Speaker 4: the lions want is in Green Bay's hand. We'll be
- 1:01:27Speaker 4: back with more to Sportshock Show right after this with
- 1:01:30Speaker 4: a big smile on a patient looking real good, spelling,
- 1:01:34Speaker 4: real nice and sweet.
- 1:01:36Speaker 2: You know I'm out on the road doing my music.

- 1:02:21Speaker 22: Choosing to buy a gun was not a decision I
- 1:02:23Speaker 22: took lightly, but with everything going on, I really wanted
- 1:02:26Speaker 22: to feel like I could protect myself. I hadn't thought
- 1:02:29Speaker 22: about the danger of an unlocked gun in my own
- 1:02:31Speaker 22: home too.
- 1:02:32Speaker 2: Me aware your napkins, not that drawer unless anyone needs
- 1:02:38Speaker 2: a gun.

- 1:03:24Speaker 1: Is it just.
- 1:03:28Speaker 14: The I'm a doing.
- 1:03:30Speaker 2: Yeah, I'm gonna go on the way.
- 1:03:32Speaker 4: You may Vegan, Welcome back to the sportshok Show. I'm
- 1:03:35Speaker 4: the Sports Shocks Wayne Candy. Good morning to you out
- 1:03:38Speaker 4: then listening land. Glad to be here with you. Monday
- 1:03:40Speaker 4: night football tonight the forty nine Ers at Indie. Both
- 1:03:43Speaker 4: of these teams need this victory. Indie needed to keep
- 1:03:47Speaker 4: their playoff hopes alive. Forty nine Ers are trying to
- 1:03:51Speaker 4: get the best record they can to try to host
- 1:03:55Speaker 4: the game, maybe win the division. I don't know, or
- 1:03:59Speaker 4: this he to win it already the division?
- 1:04:02Speaker 2: No, it's forty.
- 1:04:04Speaker 4: They just well, I know they both have solidified their playoff,
- 1:04:08Speaker 4: but I think the division is still up for forty
- 1:04:11Speaker 4: right now.
- 1:04:12Speaker 3: Seattle. Seattle has the lead.
- 1:04:15Speaker 4: Okay, so a lot still on the line for the
- 1:04:18Speaker 4: forty Niners are both in And I saw you over
- 1:04:21Speaker 4: there bickering with commands you Greg. Just so you'll know
- 1:04:25Speaker 4: and understand, right about the Cowboys statement he said, and
- 1:04:30Speaker 4: you thought he was hating on Mike Tomlin. I just
- 1:04:33Speaker 4: want you to know this before we bring in a
- 1:04:35Speaker 4: new year. The Cowboy fans are better fans than the
- 1:04:41Speaker 4: Falcon fans. They as delusional, hold on as delusional as
- 1:04:50Speaker 4: the Falcon. The Cowboy fans are thirty years removed from
- 1:04:54Speaker 4: a championship. The Falcon fans, I think that being a
- 1:04:59Speaker 4: fan and it's optional. I bump into them all the time,
- 1:05:05Speaker 4: and they're like, I'm not going to the game anymore,
- 1:05:08Speaker 4: I'm not watching. I'm not a Falcon fan anymore. And
- 1:05:11Speaker 4: then as soon as they're win to no, I wasn't
- 1:05:14Speaker 4: at the barber shop. But I'm just saying, that's just
- 1:05:16Speaker 4: shot talk. We just you know, I don't do Our
- 1:05:18Speaker 4: feelings are hurt and we're little upset and we know
- 1:05:20Speaker 4: we could do better.
- 1:05:21Speaker 2: That's just like you know, you think your kid could do,
- 1:05:23Speaker 2: but that's worse.
- 1:05:24Speaker 4: No, you just the best parent is the one who
- 1:05:27Speaker 4: recognizes what their kids strength and weaknesses are.
- 1:05:31Speaker 3: They could get them some help.
- 1:05:32Speaker 2: We recognize them.
- 1:05:33Speaker 4: But you know, you just know, y'all don't stay. You
- 1:05:36Speaker 4: just gotta stay humble. No, humble has nothing to do
- 1:05:39Speaker 4: with it. Humble doesn't make you a good fan.
- 1:05:43Speaker 2: We look good yesterday. Humble doesn't make you a good fan.
- 1:05:47Speaker 2: Falcons long way to go.
- 1:05:48Speaker 6: The Falcons fans are those parents that, uh, when little
- 1:05:53Speaker 6: black Tony get arrested, be screaming, not my baby.
- 1:05:58Speaker 3: He would never but they know, look black Tony Wood
- 1:06:03Speaker 3: all the time he do.
- 1:06:04Speaker 2: I don't know. He always doing the same stuff. And
- 1:06:07Speaker 2: then when he got around with.
- 1:06:11Speaker 6: A certain you you know, when he left the house,
- 1:06:14Speaker 6: he was going to be with folks he ain't had
- 1:06:16Speaker 6: no business being with.
- 1:06:17Speaker 3: That's what he do.
- 1:06:19Speaker 4: The Falcons fans constantly denying that their team is who
- 1:06:23Speaker 4: their team is.
- 1:06:24Speaker 2: They always tell you that it could be better.
- 1:06:27Speaker 6: If it just wasn't for that principal at the school,
- 1:06:29Speaker 6: if it wasn't for them people always hating on him
- 1:06:31Speaker 6: down there at the police station, he wouldn't be in.
- 1:06:34Speaker 4: That You were not hating. Just to make sure I
- 1:06:38Speaker 4: finished that conversation, you were not hating. You was actually
- 1:06:41Speaker 4: recognizing an epiphany of how hard it is for somebody
- 1:06:46Speaker 4: to continue to have a record where they don't have
- 1:06:49Speaker 4: a losing season. It's what you were kind of conveying me. Yes,
- 1:06:54Speaker 4: that with the foul with the game. It is like
- 1:06:58Speaker 4: you started the idea that it does take even though
- 1:07:03Speaker 4: it seems like nothing. It is hard to continue to
- 1:07:06Speaker 4: say I never had a losing something. I was going
- 1:07:08Speaker 4: to ask, like, why are people try to diminish y'all
- 1:07:13Speaker 4: diminishing that about he just can't keep winning.
- 1:07:16Speaker 2: I've heard y'all.
- 1:07:17Speaker 3: Say that that that didn't come for me. I don't
- 1:07:20Speaker 3: know whatever you thinking right now. That didn't come for me.
- 1:07:24Speaker 2: And let me say this, I.
- 1:07:25Speaker 3: Said, hold on, I will own what I said.
- 1:07:28Speaker 4: I said, writing on this idea that we're just going
- 1:07:32Speaker 4: to have a winning season kind of creates complacency. This
- 1:07:38Speaker 4: idea of averageness, that's.
- 1:07:42Speaker 3: What it creates.
- 1:07:44Speaker 4: And I would say, will will will I am. I
- 1:07:46Speaker 4: was reading something about him though day. He was talking
- 1:07:48Speaker 4: about how this idea in our society that finding work
- 1:07:54Speaker 4: life balance is something to boast about about finding how
- 1:07:59Speaker 4: they work path and that's not what makes you great. No,
- 1:08:04Speaker 4: that's not what makes you great. Finding a balance of Okay,
- 1:08:08Speaker 4: I gave enough time to know if you want to
- 1:08:10Speaker 4: be you have to be obsessive. So he says he
- 1:08:13Speaker 4: works nine to five, and he works five to nine.
- 1:08:16Speaker 4: He works when it's time to work, and it worked
- 1:08:18Speaker 4: take all day.
- 1:08:19Speaker 3: That's what they do. He's not looking to balance it
- 1:08:21Speaker 3: off with life.
- 1:08:26Speaker 4: So what Mike Tumlin a lot of times has found
- 1:08:29Speaker 4: himself in in the twenty years he's been there nineteen
- 1:08:32Speaker 4: is this almost good old boy, good job. And you
- 1:08:40Speaker 4: do that long enough to anybody you keep you never
- 1:08:45Speaker 4: add weight to the bench. You'll never get stronger if
- 1:08:52Speaker 4: all you're ever gonna do is put a little one
- 1:08:54Speaker 4: sixty five on there, and that's just far. Either you're
- 1:08:57Speaker 4: gonna have to at least increase the reps. But if
- 1:09:00Speaker 4: all you're gonna do is a set of ten, then
- 1:09:04Speaker 4: that's all you're gonna ever do. And now let me
- 1:09:07Speaker 4: say you don't have to add weight or do more reps.
- 1:09:11Speaker 4: But you can't just keep doing the same thing or
- 1:09:14Speaker 4: you become complacent and you never get the results that
- 1:09:18Speaker 4: you keep seeking.
- 1:09:19Speaker 6: And now that's that complacency can be harmful to a
- 1:09:25Speaker 6: guy who's already throwing up one sixty five for a
- 1:09:29Speaker 6: set of reps. But you take a team like the Jets.
- 1:09:34Speaker 6: They wish they could boast of a winning season. That's
- 1:09:37Speaker 6: all I was saying for decades, and that's why they
- 1:09:41Speaker 6: keep losing because they want to just be winning a season. Yes, well,
- 1:09:46Speaker 6: I'm saying if you.
- 1:09:48Speaker 4: Got no thing mean with the Dion thing with Colorado,
- 1:09:53Speaker 4: Oh you know they won one game?
- 1:09:54Speaker 3: Man, he got them before. What the hell does that?
- 1:10:00Speaker 2: What's next? Okay? Now what now?
- 1:10:06Speaker 6: You can build on a win. To go from zero
- 1:10:10Speaker 6: wins to four wins is improvement. You don't stop there.
- 1:10:15Speaker 6: You keep building. But for the team that steals zero wins,
- 1:10:18Speaker 6: I'm not knocking your four wins.
- 1:10:20Speaker 3: That's my point.
- 1:10:21Speaker 6: I'm not gonna knock your four wins when all I've
- 1:10:23Speaker 6: known is zero wins. People talk about Mike Tomlin like
- 1:10:27Speaker 6: you just say it. It's a feat to have a
- 1:10:31Speaker 6: winning season that many years in a row, because not
- 1:10:34Speaker 6: every NFL team can say that.
- 1:10:36Speaker 4: But that's for me. That's averageness. And if you stay
- 1:10:40Speaker 4: on that page too long, you become an average team.
- 1:10:42Speaker 4: What does the Stealers become over the last decade? An
- 1:10:44Speaker 4: average team? They haven't won a playoff game since twenty sixteen.
- 1:10:48Speaker 4: They are an average team. How do we get in
- 1:10:51Speaker 4: the playoffs and win a playoff game?
- 1:10:53Speaker 3: The goal.
- 1:10:55Speaker 4: Is to first and foremost, regardless of your record, be
- 1:10:59Speaker 4: the Jets, be the Jets, or beat the Jags. But
- 1:11:07Speaker 4: don't Okay, we ain't win a four game, you ain't
- 1:11:10Speaker 4: go to the playoffs either. That's how the player thinks
- 1:11:15Speaker 4: right now. I'm not a fan, So y'all have a
- 1:11:16Speaker 4: different The player looks. Did you go to the playoffs
- 1:11:20Speaker 4: or not? So no matter if you was eight and eight,
- 1:11:25Speaker 4: whatever your record, and you went home with me, that's it.
- 1:11:35Speaker 4: The first goal isn't a let's win a couple of games.
- 1:11:38Speaker 4: The first thing in there is win the division your
- 1:11:43Speaker 4: first goal, because if I win the division, that means
- 1:11:46Speaker 4: I go to the playoffs, not let's win a couple
- 1:11:50Speaker 4: of games. Oh man, we were two and fourteen last year. Man,
- 1:11:54Speaker 4: if we can get the five wins, what is that?
- 1:11:58Speaker 4: What is that?
- 1:11:58Speaker 3: Still? Not the playoffs? Not playoffs? We just won five games.
- 1:12:04Speaker 4: That's the average mindedness that you try to when I
- 1:12:07Speaker 4: got to change the culture, your coaches say that I
- 1:12:10Speaker 4: gotta change. It's kind of like, what's difference having a
- 1:12:14Speaker 4: long term playing like, Okay we won two games, okay
- 1:12:17Speaker 4: we won five and now and a year.
- 1:12:20Speaker 6: I was speaking from a fan. I was speaking from
- 1:12:22Speaker 6: a fan's point of view. For him to say that
- 1:12:26Speaker 6: he was hate No, Mike Tomlin is again, like you said,
- 1:12:31Speaker 6: it's not easy to have winning seasons back to back
- 1:12:35Speaker 6: to back to back as a fan, as a Jets.
- 1:12:38Speaker 3: Fan, I can appreciate that in Pittsburgh.
- 1:12:41Speaker 6: Now as a player, it might not make a hill
- 1:12:43Speaker 6: of beans to me, but I bet you the people
- 1:12:45Speaker 6: that are betting parlays and all of that can appreciate appreciate.
- 1:12:49Speaker 7: It a little Falcon fan. We didn't have back to
- 1:12:51Speaker 7: back winnings. Is Bryan Swith came along with back to
- 1:12:53Speaker 7: back winning season with nobody in the playoffs. It's fruitless.
- 1:13:01Speaker 7: It's fruitless. Everybody can't make the playoffs.
- 1:13:05Speaker 2: See that I'm saying.
- 1:13:09Speaker 6: And this is this is I think sometimes when you
- 1:13:12Speaker 6: start assessing success again from people who have never put
- 1:13:17Speaker 6: the helmet on, we armchair quarterbacking and those things.
- 1:13:22Speaker 2: That we take pride in.
- 1:13:25Speaker 6: My team got the first pick of the draft and
- 1:13:28Speaker 6: we got the number one player in college football, but
- 1:13:31Speaker 6: that also means that my team was trashed last season, But.
- 1:13:34Speaker 7: That's that's something you accepted though. I mean, that's where
- 1:13:39Speaker 7: that's where you get. You like, Okay, even though we
- 1:13:41Speaker 7: were trash, we're gonna get the best player.
- 1:13:44Speaker 6: So I'm saying fans, fans take pride dealing with the best,
- 1:13:49Speaker 6: separate set of criteria.
- 1:13:52Speaker 4: And that's my point, as I'm saying one or two
- 1:13:55Speaker 4: of those years for Mike Tomlin was cool, right fielding
- 1:14:00Speaker 4: a whole reputation on that. It's not seen to be
- 1:14:03Speaker 4: where you've kind of fallen into. Well, at least we
- 1:14:08Speaker 4: didn't have a losing season. Well, at least we ain't
- 1:14:11Speaker 4: had a losing season. At least we ain't had a
- 1:14:14Speaker 4: losing season. Well at least we ain't had. But none
- 1:14:18Speaker 4: of that ends with some kind of winning.
- 1:14:22Speaker 6: Yeah, and again I'm watching, I'm watching, I'm watching.
- 1:14:29Speaker 4: That's like, that's like a basketball team trying to tell
- 1:14:32Speaker 4: you they went forty two and forty.
- 1:14:39Speaker 2: Yeah, and I'm saying, well, you still went home, you
- 1:14:41Speaker 2: were still twelve, and you ain't winning.
- 1:14:44Speaker 4: You didn't go the goal. I'm just trying, as you said,
- 1:14:49Speaker 4: I'm just taking into the player right right and setting
- 1:14:52Speaker 4: a goal of walk. No coaches ever no matter what
- 1:14:55Speaker 4: our record is, coming there talking about, well, hey, we
- 1:15:01Speaker 4: ain't gonna have a losing season, though.
- 1:15:05Speaker 3: That's not the speed. Who is this guy?
- 1:15:09Speaker 4: We even tried to win and I'm not even saying
- 1:15:12Speaker 4: you get in there and say you're gonna win the
- 1:15:14Speaker 4: super Bowl. But the first goal is that we got
- 1:15:18Speaker 4: to figure ou how to win this division and then
- 1:15:21Speaker 4: everything else plays itself. Averageness of that's cute, that's a
- 1:15:26Speaker 4: cute story, Mike Tellman. But when the last time Mike
- 1:15:30Speaker 4: Tumban won a playoff game, that's what the Steller fans
- 1:15:36Speaker 4: have gotten frustrated that it has been a decade since
- 1:15:39Speaker 4: something like that has happened.
- 1:15:43Speaker 2: And we'll be back more to Sports Jock Show right
- 1:15:45Speaker 2: after this sometimes, but I don't give up. I believe
- 1:15:50Speaker 2: right you staying just mad you will never be as
- 1:15:53Speaker 2: nice as I am. And Black Game star.
- 1:15:57Speaker 9: John go awayne board of the Sports Josh Show with

- 1:17:11Speaker 23: Wayne Gaddy, goat, goat, go show this Shugaray, We're gonna

- 1:17:26Speaker 3: And you know we don't give up because welcome back
- 1:17:30Speaker 3: to the sports Shop Shop.
- 1:17:31Speaker 4: I'm in the sports shop, Winge Candy, Real quick, Big Kenny,
- 1:17:35Speaker 4: you had something. And I know the bad producer on
- 1:17:37Speaker 4: that last topic before I give the birthdays, that producer
- 1:17:40Speaker 4: over here steam coming out of his ears. I know
- 1:17:42Speaker 4: it's a little chilly in here. Uh, but you can
- 1:17:44Speaker 4: see the smoke from his ears. Which one of you
- 1:17:47Speaker 4: want to go?
- 1:17:48Speaker 3: Real quick?
- 1:17:49Speaker 4: Bad producer can go go ahead. I'll yield to the now.
- 1:17:53Speaker 4: My spirit, my spirit is clear, my mind is go ahead,
- 1:17:56Speaker 4: it's free.
- 1:17:56Speaker 2: I'm clear.
- 1:17:57Speaker 7: I just don't understand how we just gonna get ain't
- 1:18:00Speaker 7: on the man doing a good job. I mean he
- 1:18:03Speaker 7: did his job. I mean he didn't go out and lose.
- 1:18:06Speaker 7: He's not losing. And then you got coaches who losing
- 1:18:09Speaker 7: records and keep ten, fifteen to twenty years. That's I
- 1:18:12Speaker 7: don't get it. But I'm all right, I'm fine. I
- 1:18:14Speaker 7: mean it's just to this come. I just heard Greg
- 1:18:17Speaker 7: say what he said, and then and then the whole
- 1:18:20Speaker 7: we spent a whole segment and a half on about
- 1:18:22Speaker 7: his team, about how they wish they could just win,
- 1:18:25Speaker 7: and I wish my teamer had a winning seasons all
- 1:18:29Speaker 7: the time.
- 1:18:29Speaker 4: I had a coach like the Cowboys. Don't if he
- 1:18:33Speaker 4: wish they could win. I'm just saying I wish cowboys
- 1:18:37Speaker 4: do not wish they could win. The Cowboys want to
- 1:18:40Speaker 4: win a championship. The failure in them is that, regardless
- 1:18:45Speaker 4: of who's in a Cowboy uniform, they always sell you
- 1:18:49Speaker 4: that they're gonna win the super Bowl. But they do
- 1:18:52Speaker 4: not go into the season with this, we're just gonna
- 1:18:55Speaker 4: be nine and eight. The stewers don't either. Excuse me,
- 1:18:58Speaker 4: that's what the Steelers have and laying their head on
- 1:19:01Speaker 4: this kind of comfortable. And nobody on this show that
- 1:19:04Speaker 4: I've heard yet has put Mike Toumblin down. So I
- 1:19:08Speaker 4: don't know whether Greg has your your earphones tuned different
- 1:19:13Speaker 4: and you're.
- 1:19:13Speaker 3: Hearing another language. I don't remember.
- 1:19:16Speaker 4: Did you criticize Mike tombanks ago? I said, if you
- 1:19:21Speaker 4: stay on that page too long, then you'll find yourself
- 1:19:25Speaker 4: just on that page. I gave as many examples as
- 1:19:32Speaker 4: if you only run a mile, that's just all your conditioning,
- 1:19:37Speaker 4: you go for that fifth lap and be like, ohoh
- 1:19:39Speaker 4: I couldn't make it.
- 1:19:40Speaker 2: Yeah, you ain't never went to the fifth lap. I
- 1:19:42Speaker 2: wish I just ran the four right and.
- 1:19:46Speaker 4: Eventually staying like Mike Tumblin will get you fired. If
- 1:19:49Speaker 4: he had had that Super Bowl in his pocket, he
- 1:19:52Speaker 4: would have been fired by now. He would have been
- 1:19:57Speaker 4: fired by now. Not because he's a bad coach, because
- 1:20:01Speaker 4: he's not doing anything more.
- 1:20:05Speaker 3: Than what he's already done.
- 1:20:07Speaker 2: Marvin Lewis stayed with the Bengals for all those years.
- 1:20:10Speaker 4: It's it's and that's different. It's different because the Bengals are.
- 1:20:15Speaker 2: But he was winning.
- 1:20:17Speaker 3: No, they weren't.
- 1:20:18Speaker 2: I mean he was staying right. He was staying right there.
- 1:20:23Speaker 3: Like twice.
- 1:20:23Speaker 4: But he kept his job. I can call him my
- 1:20:25Speaker 4: boy Willy Anderson. He'll tell you they were not winning.
- 1:20:27Speaker 4: They were not winning twice. Marve Lewis kept his job
- 1:20:31Speaker 4: because the owner is cheap and did not want to
- 1:20:34Speaker 4: have to pay to get anybody else. Always, okay, if
- 1:20:42Speaker 4: you do some research, you'll you'll figure out for yourself.
- 1:20:44Speaker 4: But I can't do it for you. He don't need,
- 1:20:51Speaker 4: we don't need.
- 1:20:54Speaker 2: That's your spirit, your spirit.
- 1:20:55Speaker 4: You keep your spirit. Birthdays real, quick, spirit, get right.
- 1:21:02Speaker 4: Samuel Jackson seventy seven years old. Keifer Sutherland is fifty nine,

- 1:22:10Speaker 4: Surya is eighty years old?
- 1:22:13Speaker 3: Is Diane Sawyer? Is your mic back on? Kenny. I
- 1:22:15Speaker 3: know you've be touching it.
- 1:22:16Speaker 2: I can work for him. I can work.
- 1:22:21Speaker 10: Right.
- 1:22:25Speaker 4: Let's see how long case one? Don't touch it because
- 1:22:28Speaker 4: everything because you know what messes up when you touch it.
- 1:22:32Speaker 4: See there you go touch don't touch it one one
- 1:22:38Speaker 4: right there, don't nobody and now it's not staying Comanche, Yeah,
- 1:22:44Speaker 4: it's not. It's mu snail.
- 1:22:49Speaker 2: Okay, Well, I guess it's.
- 1:22:51Speaker 6: Never it's never been touching it makes it go out,
- 1:22:55Speaker 6: touching it to make it come back, because it does.
- 1:22:58Speaker 6: There you go before I go out. If I could
- 1:23:01Speaker 6: clock in real quick. Okay, Jordan Sparks, we want to
- 1:23:05Speaker 6: make sure we get her out the white I think
- 1:23:09Speaker 6: because we were off last Monday. We have someone who
- 1:23:14Speaker 6: turned a hundred. Dick Van Dyke is one hundred years old.
- 1:23:18Speaker 6: He's still alive.
- 1:23:20Speaker 4: Because People People Magazine did the turning one hundred before
- 1:23:25Speaker 4: the birthday, but he made it made years old the
- 1:23:31Speaker 4: Dick and Van Dyke show way way way back in
- 1:23:34Speaker 4: the day when it was black and white.
- 1:23:37Speaker 3: Yeah, he had a seventy year career on the Pratt Falls.
- 1:23:39Speaker 3: That's awesome.
- 1:23:40Speaker 4: Uh, Big Kenny clogging in on Jordan's Sparks the bad producer.
- 1:23:44Speaker 3: Thanks.
- 1:23:45Speaker 4: For some reason, we're criticizing Mike Tumblin when I'm saying
- 1:23:48Speaker 4: that average coaches get fired people, that's.
- 1:23:53Speaker 2: I don't think Mike Toms That's all I'm saying.
- 1:23:55Speaker 7: I don't look at him as I look at him
- 1:23:57Speaker 7: as a top tier NFL coach.
- 1:24:00Speaker 4: Okay, if you say so that they get fired too,
- 1:24:05Speaker 4: they get fired to we see some really great coaches,
- 1:24:07Speaker 4: they get to walk away. Listen to me, Mike Tomlin
- 1:24:09Speaker 4: would get fired tomorrow from the Steelers and get hired
- 1:24:11Speaker 4: somewhere else. Mike Tomlin has been in an organization that
- 1:24:17Speaker 4: the only thing that has kind of saved him is
- 1:24:20Speaker 4: that the Stellers don't like to change coaches. But nobody
- 1:24:24Speaker 4: is going to stay on a job only being nine
- 1:24:27Speaker 4: and eight or eight and eight. They're not organization is
- 1:24:31Speaker 4: only going to stay in that frame. We see coaches
- 1:24:34Speaker 4: every year they go. We've seen Ohio State coaches get
- 1:24:39Speaker 4: fired for only losing one game.
- 1:24:41Speaker 3: One game, and that's when I'm thirty three and three,
- 1:24:47Speaker 3: Oh man, you gotta go, man, you get it, And.
- 1:24:51Speaker 6: That I was looking for the the root reason why
- 1:24:56Speaker 6: you were so upset that a Tomlin would be critiqued,
- 1:25:00Speaker 6: not fired, critique when we've seen coaches get straight up
- 1:25:04Speaker 6: fired after the third game of the season for losing
- 1:25:08Speaker 6: by seven points to their rival and nobody speaks up
- 1:25:12Speaker 6: with nobody.
- 1:25:14Speaker 4: Yesterday was me read lip reading Mike Tomlin that he
- 1:25:19Speaker 4: was telling defensive coordinator Trail Austin in that last couple
- 1:25:23Speaker 4: of minutes or so, uh, play to win. Because Mike
- 1:25:28Speaker 4: has gotten so into that try not to lose, that
- 1:25:32Speaker 4: he don't forgot play to win. Sometimes it's I know
- 1:25:37Speaker 4: that's a fine line, but there's a moment where you
- 1:25:41Speaker 4: just play to win the way Dan Campbell plays, and
- 1:25:45Speaker 4: sometimes he gets a little too far with it, but
- 1:25:48Speaker 4: that is a philosophy that I'm really I'm gonna try
- 1:25:53Speaker 4: to win, I'm gonna lose trying to win. And that's
- 1:25:57Speaker 4: why people even are okay dealing with him when he fails,
- 1:26:00Speaker 4: because in their mind they see him, Oh Andy.
- 1:26:05Speaker 2: Work, that worked.
- 1:26:07Speaker 4: We'll be talking about it for next three seasons, but
- 1:26:10Speaker 4: we'll be we'll be back more to sports Jock show
- 1:26:12Speaker 4: it after this when they want to just made.
- 1:26:15Speaker 6: Kick their feet ups.
- 1:26:15Speaker 2: You listen to some good music, just loud like the
- 1:26:20Speaker 2: black and see the next cash.
- 1:26:21Speaker 9: Right, John Boy, Wayne Boord of the sports Josh Hill
- 1:26:26Speaker 9: with Wayne Gantidias coming up next.
- 1:26:31Speaker 22: Choosing to buy a gun was not a decision I
- 1:26:33Speaker 22: took lightly, but with everything going on, I really wanted
- 1:26:36Speaker 22: to feel like I could protect myself. I hadn't thought
- 1:26:39Speaker 22: about the danger of an unlocked gun in my own
- 1:26:41Speaker 22: home too.
- 1:26:43Speaker 3: Me aware your napkins, not that drawer.
- 1:26:47Speaker 2: Unless anyone needs a gun.
- 1:26:51Speaker 22: Now I always locked my gun to keep everyone safe.
- 1:26:54Speaker 22: Visit infamilyfire dot org to learn how to store your
- 1:26:57Speaker 22: guns more securely. Brought to you by Brady in the Council.
- 1:27:02Speaker 2: And now back to the Sports John Wayne Gammy.
- 1:27:07Speaker 1: Player's lounge have been given full access to the players
- 1:27:13Speaker 1: lounge on the Sports Jack Show with Wayne Gangy.
- 1:27:33Speaker 4: Okay, moms A, welcome back to this Sports Shock show.
- 1:27:39Speaker 3: I'm in the Sports Shock Wayne hand.
- 1:27:41Speaker 4: I wish you were here in the studio with me
- 1:27:44Speaker 4: out there just to see the bad producer and his aura,
- 1:27:50Speaker 4: his vibration right now on the Mike Tomlin, it just
- 1:27:54Speaker 4: amazes me with him. His biases are so blinding that
- 1:28:01Speaker 4: he doesn't even want to have the conversation. Like he
- 1:28:04Speaker 4: represents what politics has become. To me, why I don't
- 1:28:08Speaker 4: really get on politics because people are so blind that
- 1:28:12Speaker 4: he takes us actually analyzing Mike Tomlin as criticizing Mike Tomblin.
- 1:28:19Speaker 6: And now and now this this is my part, is
- 1:28:23Speaker 6: he's not beyond criticizing people. He just doesn't want Mike
- 1:28:27Speaker 6: Tomlin criticized because he's a black head coach.
- 1:28:30Speaker 3: Correct.
- 1:28:31Speaker 6: We can criticize all we want, but anytime we criticize
- 1:28:36Speaker 6: anyone black, especially a head coach or someone in a
- 1:28:40Speaker 6: position of what he perceived leadershipower leadership, then he's upset.
- 1:28:45Speaker 6: Now these people can be booboo garbage trash all the time.
- 1:28:51Speaker 3: We don't.
- 1:28:51Speaker 2: We don't put our stuff out, just keeping it. Use
- 1:28:54Speaker 2: a lot, use a lot. Stop.
- 1:28:57Speaker 4: This is my problem, which sports and society as a whole,
- 1:29:02Speaker 4: everybody wont it both ways? You want to be away,
- 1:29:05Speaker 4: to come out and say that dude deserves this and
- 1:29:08Speaker 4: he doesn't deserve that. You want to be critical until
- 1:29:11Speaker 4: someone who's actually earned criticism comes along and is your color.
- 1:29:16Speaker 3: You can't talk about them. You can't bring up their shortcomings.
- 1:29:20Speaker 6: You can't bring up the fact that they failed or
- 1:29:22Speaker 6: that they made a poor decision, or that they did
- 1:29:24Speaker 6: something that they should not have done.
- 1:29:27Speaker 4: You are racist and you are one sided in your opinions.
- 1:29:33Speaker 4: Now that's cool. I'm saying, be that way, be cool,
- 1:29:36Speaker 4: how you be cool, But stop playing like you not.
- 1:29:40Speaker 4: That's all I'm saying. Call the spade the spade pun intended.
- 1:29:46Speaker 4: Just be the way you are and be cool with that.
- 1:29:49Speaker 4: I would rather know for me and against me off
- 1:29:54Speaker 4: the top, that's what. That's all I'm saying, y'all, y'all
- 1:30:00Speaker 4: against the man.
- 1:30:00Speaker 7: I mean, this guy, man, I've heard in the last
- 1:30:03Speaker 7: couple of weeks. I'm just saying, in the last couple
- 1:30:05Speaker 7: of weeks, it's just like, oh, if Tomlin don't do this,
- 1:30:08Speaker 7: it was like we're waiting on him to fail to
- 1:30:10Speaker 7: finally get fired.
- 1:30:11Speaker 4: He said, terminated. You haven't heard anything over the last
- 1:30:14Speaker 4: couple of weeks. Every time we heard the last couple
- 1:30:17Speaker 4: of minutes, I've heard what you said. I'm just listening.
- 1:30:21Speaker 4: I'm just playing all of it back. I mean, Mike
- 1:30:24Speaker 4: Tomlin is just you know, because if Raheem Morris was
- 1:30:28Speaker 4: a black wasn't a black coach, you'd be hollering for
- 1:30:31Speaker 4: him to get fired after the first loss. Speaking of racism, ESPN,
- 1:30:38Speaker 4: Ryan Clark says that Searon moore firing is going to
- 1:30:45Speaker 4: hold back black hirings. Why is that notion still the story?
- 1:30:54Speaker 3: Well, the guy, mind me, you keep looking at black
- 1:30:56Speaker 3: coaches like as a whole, like Eddie black coach. That's higher.
- 1:31:00Speaker 3: It's a it's a.
- 1:31:03Speaker 4: They have to represent every black person, every black coach
- 1:31:08Speaker 4: at any every black player. It's and then when they
- 1:31:11Speaker 4: get fired, it's a referendum on black coaches. Regardless of context,
- 1:31:18Speaker 4: you deserve to get fired.
- 1:31:19Speaker 2: But what about the coach fired?
- 1:31:23Speaker 7: Is that another college coach did the same thing, but
- 1:31:25Speaker 7: it wasn't all on the ESPN.
- 1:31:28Speaker 3: He got fired.
- 1:31:29Speaker 7: No, I'm talking about the Miami of Ohio University coach
- 1:31:31Speaker 7: in the same week.
- 1:31:32Speaker 4: First of all, slow hold on, slow down. First of all,
- 1:31:36Speaker 4: bad producer. I've told you since we've been doing radio,
- 1:31:40Speaker 4: your biases is what makes your reporting lack. Whatever a
- 1:31:49Speaker 4: coach does that Michigan will always sound like louder than
- 1:31:56Speaker 4: somebody at Ohio University. That that that makes no sense
- 1:32:06Speaker 4: at at for you to even try to summarize where
- 1:32:10Speaker 4: the Michigan head football coach having an infraction versus somebody
- 1:32:17Speaker 4: at Ohio University where none of us know a great
- 1:32:23Speaker 4: player or the logo. So come on, and you said
- 1:32:29Speaker 4: that profile he got the two people are different.
- 1:32:35Speaker 6: So and he got caught having an inappropriate relationship with
- 1:32:39Speaker 6: a staff member, and then he went to that staff
- 1:32:42Speaker 6: member's house and broke in and kidnapped them and uh
- 1:32:48Speaker 6: trespassed and got a felony assault and all of that,
- 1:32:51Speaker 6: he did the exact same thing. No, okay, I'm saying,
- 1:32:54Speaker 6: there's apples and there's oranges. Two of them may have
- 1:32:59Speaker 6: been fruits, but they were different type of fruit. The
- 1:33:03Speaker 6: fact that we got fired for having inappropriate relationships, that's
- 1:33:07Speaker 6: apples to apples, But then me going and breaking in
- 1:33:10Speaker 6: somebody's house and stalking and all of that other stuff
- 1:33:13Speaker 6: did not equate to what the other guy did. Nobody
- 1:33:17Speaker 6: came forward to say, hey, this guy is stalking me
- 1:33:19Speaker 6: and I feel unsafe that That's That's where the Sharon
- 1:33:23Speaker 6: More thing really got out of hand, was with him
- 1:33:27Speaker 6: assaulting this person that he was in the relationship with
- 1:33:31Speaker 6: and breaking into their home.
- 1:33:33Speaker 4: That's that's a whole different thing entirely. You can't equate
- 1:33:37Speaker 4: the two because one is black and one is white.
- 1:33:40Speaker 4: And that's what I'm saying. You would like to make
- 1:33:43Speaker 4: them the same thing. That's what And who was it
- 1:33:46Speaker 4: that said it that you said was gonna affect the
- 1:33:49Speaker 4: hiring Ryan he's racist.
- 1:33:52Speaker 2: He's racist as well, because you would like to believe
- 1:33:56Speaker 2: that the only reason people.
- 1:33:58Speaker 6: Would what you're saying is right, that Sharon Moore got
- 1:34:02Speaker 6: fired would affect sports Jock getting hired, because the people
- 1:34:05Speaker 6: who hire football coaches would look at sports Jock and
- 1:34:09Speaker 6: just assume.
- 1:34:10Speaker 3: All black men are immoral.
- 1:34:12Speaker 6: All black men would cheat on their wives, then stalk
- 1:34:14Speaker 6: their side chicks, and then break into their homes.
- 1:34:17Speaker 4: That's what you're saying, is that that's why you wouldn't
- 1:34:20Speaker 4: hire these people because you think they'd be a Sharon Moore.
- 1:34:24Speaker 2: Sharon Moore was an immoral man period. The fact that
- 1:34:28Speaker 2: his skin was black doesn't change his character. You would
- 1:34:32Speaker 2: like for it to mean more, but it don't.
- 1:34:35Speaker 4: At the end of the day, he was just a
- 1:34:37Speaker 4: dude that was in moral He was lacking in character
- 1:34:42Speaker 4: and not that shouldn't that shouldn't affect anybody else that
- 1:34:46Speaker 4: looked like him, or come.
- 1:34:47Speaker 2: From his hometown, or wear the same jersey and none
- 1:34:50Speaker 2: of that.
- 1:34:51Speaker 6: And that's what racism is, is that you blanket cover
- 1:34:54Speaker 6: everybody with the same characteristics because they look alike.
- 1:34:59Speaker 2: That's it.
- 1:35:00Speaker 6: That's exactly what racism is. And Ryan Clark is one
- 1:35:03Speaker 6: of the most racist people in the country.
- 1:35:05Speaker 4: And producer it just you do yourself when you you're
- 1:35:08Speaker 4: already jaded, and for you to try to compare those
- 1:35:12Speaker 4: two situations. The Ohio University head football coach has been
- 1:35:17Speaker 4: let go uh they found out that he had been
- 1:35:20Speaker 4: dating one of a student students, and that's about it
- 1:35:27Speaker 4: what they And they also claim there's no drinking on
- 1:35:31Speaker 4: campus or whatever.
- 1:35:32Speaker 2: That's just coaches.
- 1:35:33Speaker 6: But we've all got right, am I right, we've all
- 1:35:36Speaker 6: got on campus while we were coaching.
- 1:35:39Speaker 3: But they have released him. Uh there.
- 1:35:42Speaker 4: There hasn't been any kind of threat to kill himself
- 1:35:46Speaker 4: or the student or the wife or like a wrongful
- 1:35:51Speaker 4: termination to Yeah, so that's about it. I've never Yeah,
- 1:35:56Speaker 4: I don't. It'd be surprising if do you have a
- 1:35:59Speaker 4: clause that made it a student? Well, there was uh
- 1:36:02Speaker 4: there there or does she work? There was nothing official
- 1:36:05Speaker 4: in the as far as dating a student that very school,
- 1:36:09Speaker 4: the school, but the stories that he he didn't know
- 1:36:12Speaker 4: she was a student and then when he found out,
- 1:36:15Speaker 4: he broke it off. But there were other other, uh,
- 1:36:20Speaker 4: other factors aside from that, but it wasn't any The
- 1:36:23Speaker 4: police didn't arrest him for breaking and entering.
- 1:36:26Speaker 2: No, he didn't do any of that, okay, right.
- 1:36:29Speaker 6: So and so for Ryan Clark and for people who
- 1:36:32Speaker 6: think like him, that's a racist statement. And you you
- 1:36:36Speaker 6: based it off the fact that you yourself think that
- 1:36:40Speaker 6: all black men should be judged on what other black
- 1:36:43Speaker 6: men do because we are just black.
- 1:36:45Speaker 4: We are we are quick to try to find what
- 1:36:48Speaker 4: was unfair about what happened, rather than why, like why
- 1:36:53Speaker 4: was Sharon more fired? Not like where were they being
- 1:36:58Speaker 4: unfair to Sharon mor Right? Twenty eight twenty four The
- 1:37:01Speaker 4: Patriots beat the Ravens. Do you guys imagine Lamar Jackson
- 1:37:08Speaker 4: pulling an Andrew Luck? Andrew Luck a couple of years ago,
- 1:37:12Speaker 4: been about five six now decided to retire after dealing
- 1:37:17Speaker 4: with so many injuries. Can you see that being the
- 1:37:20Speaker 4: storyline for LJ. Not exactly and not exactly Andrew Luck.
- 1:37:27Speaker 4: I would say Carson Palmer, in which they will just
- 1:37:31Speaker 4: go home and hope they get traded. Yeah, last night,
- 1:37:37Speaker 4: another injury pulling him out of the second half. We
- 1:37:40Speaker 4: got hurt in the first half. And it just has
- 1:37:43Speaker 4: been a title way for the young man. And you
- 1:37:46Speaker 4: can see the frustration, you can see the limitations, even
- 1:37:50Speaker 4: when the commentators it's like it's been something that has
- 1:37:53Speaker 4: been poignant. He's very conscious. You could tell when he's
- 1:37:58Speaker 4: scrambling about three or four steps he is kind of
- 1:38:03Speaker 4: negotiating with his own body. Should I go into turbo
- 1:38:08Speaker 4: mode or should I just stay right here? And you know,
- 1:38:13Speaker 4: like speed right, Like he's trying to figure out which
- 1:38:16Speaker 4: one in situations and he can get frustrated. He has
- 1:38:21Speaker 4: been dealing with different aches and pains, and when I
- 1:38:24Speaker 4: saw it last night, I was just thinking, Man, I wonder,
- 1:38:28Speaker 4: can it just be so much at some point for
- 1:38:31Speaker 4: him always having to negotiate and fix his body up
- 1:38:37Speaker 4: to try to play, and because now it's actually playing
- 1:38:40Speaker 4: out to where it's limiting him on the field, and
- 1:38:44Speaker 4: then we reset, shuffle the cards. He starts the next
- 1:38:48Speaker 4: season back like he's ready, and then two three weeks
- 1:38:52Speaker 4: in it's something and you let him be able to
- 1:38:55Speaker 4: pull out his cape anymore.
- 1:38:57Speaker 3: And usually when we have.
- 1:39:00Speaker 6: Nagging injuries, we do our best to limit the activity
- 1:39:05Speaker 6: on that spot. I got a tennis elbow, so I'm
- 1:39:07Speaker 6: gonna limit my plan. But if all I want you
- 1:39:10Speaker 6: to do is get better, to we hurt you again.
- 1:39:12Speaker 7: Question, then, do you think maybe if he wasn't playing
- 1:39:15Speaker 7: in that AFC North, which is one of the toughest
- 1:39:18Speaker 7: division to brew just how they play football in that
- 1:39:21Speaker 7: I think that he would he have those many injuries
- 1:39:24Speaker 7: or would it be a possibility I mean probably have
- 1:39:28Speaker 7: that thought that you're thinking that he maybe I'm gonna
- 1:39:31Speaker 7: pack it in.
- 1:39:32Speaker 2: I'm just ready to go oh on the vision.
- 1:39:36Speaker 7: I don't know that, but you I mean you playing
- 1:39:39Speaker 7: in that division as a running quarterback, the type of
- 1:39:42Speaker 7: quarterback that's his style. Yeah, I'm saying, but if he
- 1:39:44Speaker 7: was in another division where he didn't have to change,
- 1:39:47Speaker 7: don't change the style. But I'm saying that that North
- 1:39:50Speaker 7: is known for hard nose football and you know defense, and.
- 1:39:54Speaker 3: So what comfort? What division? You want to send him to?
- 1:39:58Speaker 4: AFC East? Who n f C East properly n f
- 1:40:01Speaker 4: C eas with the Commanders and the Eagles Cowboys? Now,
- 1:40:06Speaker 4: why would I want to send them and let the
- 1:40:07Speaker 4: Eagles run him down the worst?
- 1:40:10Speaker 2: It's like Proverbs.
- 1:40:14Speaker 7: Gets one team in the East defense.
- 1:40:20Speaker 4: The Commanders play great defense, but I mean the East
- 1:40:23Speaker 4: is more for I mean the Giants or even decent.
- 1:40:26Speaker 3: The East is not known for offense.
- 1:40:32Speaker 4: You've been better off sending him out there with the
- 1:40:33Speaker 4: forty nine ers in that division is known more for
- 1:40:36Speaker 4: you know, high flying.
- 1:40:38Speaker 3: I know, once again you let your bias for Dallas
- 1:40:41Speaker 3: drag you into hold.
- 1:40:43Speaker 2: Send them in Dallas.
- 1:40:44Speaker 10: You know.
- 1:40:49Speaker 4: We'll be back sending the Dallas to lost.
- 1:40:57Speaker 12: Well like smash and loss from the dats what's holes
- 1:41:01Speaker 12: in your marauds?
- 1:41:02Speaker 2: Cats a jot, shake them there like the Right.

- 1:41:17Speaker 24: skip to clear our minds and elevate our performance.
- 1:41:20Speaker 2: But what do you do to keep your head in
- 1:41:22Speaker 2: the game?
- 1:41:22Speaker 24: Because being your best isn't just about taking care of
- 1:41:25Speaker 24: your body, It's about taking care of your mind and

- 1:41:46Speaker 14: hopping on one foot, or maybe juggling cats while riding
- 1:41:49Speaker 14: the unicycle? Sounds ridiculous, right, but guess what? That's exactly
- 1:41:54Speaker 14: what texting while driving is like. Your human brain only
- 1:41:57Speaker 14: has the capacity to focus on one thing at a
- 1:41:59Speaker 14: time when you're behind the wheel. Gip driving your undivided attention.

- 1:42:13Speaker 5: And now back to the sports John Wayne Gandy, its
- 1:42:26Speaker 5: win logne say you can see a sports jaint. I'll
- 1:42:41Speaker 5: sing even the big chany welcome back.
- 1:42:45Speaker 4: To the Sports Shock Show. I'm in the Sports Shock
- 1:42:47Speaker 4: Wayne Gainty. Good morning to you out there listening laying
- 1:42:50Speaker 4: the barbaducer. You have me laughing inside. I've been trying
- 1:42:53Speaker 4: to follow you sometimes and you uh. But Lamar Jackson
- 1:42:57Speaker 4: style for him to be great is a style that
- 1:43:00Speaker 4: will bring him into contact with the defense a little
- 1:43:04Speaker 4: more so. The only way to reduce his physical I
- 1:43:09Speaker 4: guess punishment would be his style would have to change
- 1:43:13Speaker 4: where he's more pocket guy that throws the ball. But
- 1:43:18Speaker 4: his his MVP style is being a dual threat where
- 1:43:24Speaker 4: he runs, he throws, and both of those kind of things.
- 1:43:28Speaker 4: I don't know I can find a division. And then
- 1:43:30Speaker 4: at this point in his career, after being hurt so much,
- 1:43:35Speaker 4: every defense is going to attack him to try to
- 1:43:39Speaker 4: get little hits on him. Ye put a spout, So
- 1:43:43Speaker 4: That's what I'm saying. So when you talk about a division,
- 1:43:46Speaker 4: where would I send him where that is not that's
- 1:43:48Speaker 4: going to follow him nowhere, no matter where he goes.
- 1:43:54Speaker 4: You can't hide from that big can you say? We
- 1:43:55Speaker 4: had some comments today here some.
- 1:43:58Speaker 6: Comments online from our loyal online listeners. We got Todd
- 1:44:02Speaker 6: Bowl and said Merry Christmas, Happy New Year, and war Eagle.
- 1:44:06Speaker 6: Uncle Charlie says, so sit back down the rest of
- 1:44:10Speaker 6: the games and get paid for doing nothing while he's
- 1:44:14Speaker 6: not a US congressman, and he says good morning, Happy holidays.
- 1:44:20Speaker 6: Jared Lloyd wants to know, can the Jets take Geno back?
- 1:44:28Speaker 2: And I'm for what?
- 1:44:29Speaker 6: And he just says he wants to get them the
- 1:44:31Speaker 6: hell out of Vegas. Uncle Charlie said a man in
- 1:44:37Speaker 6: Pittsburgh was acting like he got beat like Rodney King.
- 1:44:44Speaker 3: But I told him you gotta sell it. Also, Jared
- 1:44:48Speaker 3: Lloyd wants to know.
- 1:44:49Speaker 6: He says, we've known this fool for decades and you
- 1:44:52Speaker 6: would think that he would learn something, but not, He's
- 1:44:55Speaker 6: not going to learn anything. Then my camera went out
- 1:44:58Speaker 6: for a little while. Uncle Ay said that the bad
- 1:45:01Speaker 6: producer was holding his ground. Whoa wait, and then he said,
- 1:45:04Speaker 6: Big Kenny has been redacted because my camera went black
- 1:45:07Speaker 6: for about five minutes. The second and he said in
- 1:45:11Speaker 6: the VP he made sure to get that part and
- 1:45:13Speaker 6: the bad producers still standing, and then mister Lloyd wanted
- 1:45:17Speaker 6: to know can we just cut his mic off for
- 1:45:20Speaker 6: the rest of the days Early Christmas present to the listeners.
- 1:45:23Speaker 4: Well, Todd Bowling war ego to you, my brother, Let's
- 1:45:28Speaker 4: hope we have better season next year.
- 1:45:31Speaker 3: The Uncle Charlie.
- 1:45:33Speaker 4: Unfortunately, that's the time of the year Dak might play
- 1:45:37Speaker 4: on Christmas just because the NFL and the pressure and
- 1:45:40Speaker 4: those kinds of things. Jerry might be having Bobblehead do
- 1:45:44Speaker 4: all day. Where's the game. It's in Washington, Oh okay.
- 1:45:49Speaker 4: But so sometimes you have to check the boxes. And
- 1:45:53Speaker 4: I'm not saying set Dak down. I'm saying, but all
- 1:45:56Speaker 4: that is on the table now when you look at
- 1:45:59Speaker 4: it based on and what you think you're going to
- 1:46:01Speaker 4: do with him. And we gave two examples there of too,
- 1:46:05Speaker 4: tagle Leoa. We gave to the example of Kyler Murray.
- 1:46:09Speaker 4: And a lot of people will be facing that, especially
- 1:46:12Speaker 4: in Week eighteen, of who and what to do with
- 1:46:18Speaker 4: their starting quarterback, their franchise tag player, things like that,
- 1:46:24Speaker 4: because there's nothing to actually win out of that game
- 1:46:29Speaker 4: between Dallas and the Washington Commanders.
- 1:46:34Speaker 3: And again.
- 1:46:36Speaker 6: Is the football viewing public the foot I would call
- 1:46:39Speaker 6: him the casual football fan, just stuck in that old model.
- 1:46:44Speaker 6: Nothing is like it used to be in football. Everybody
- 1:46:48Speaker 6: wants the football player to be like they've been in
- 1:46:51Speaker 6: the days of all. They want him to be the
- 1:46:52Speaker 6: legendary football player, but they want to change everything.
- 1:46:56Speaker 3: I hate it.
- 1:46:56Speaker 4: I hated this time of the year. I'm giving you,
- 1:46:59Speaker 4: I'm giving you player locker room talk. I hate it
- 1:47:03Speaker 4: this time of the year. Most of my career, this
- 1:47:06Speaker 4: was the time of the year was like the toughest games.
- 1:47:09Speaker 4: You're sitting there and I'm gonna play two more games
- 1:47:11Speaker 4: of meaningless football. Yeah, it is one of the toughest
- 1:47:17Speaker 4: things to get up for. You could sit here and
- 1:47:21Speaker 4: a lot of people, you know, some of you out there,
- 1:47:24Speaker 4: y'all are so caught up on the dollar signs because
- 1:47:27Speaker 4: maybe that's how you get motivated. But nobody is sitting
- 1:47:31Speaker 4: around and the idea of how much money they make.
- 1:47:35Speaker 4: That's not how we sit in the locker room. Really,
- 1:47:40Speaker 4: we're trying to figure out and ask God, you please
- 1:47:44Speaker 4: get us through these two next Sundays without any injury
- 1:47:49Speaker 4: because man, they would come like preseason, and this was
- 1:47:53Speaker 4: definitely how I felt when I was my first five
- 1:47:56Speaker 4: years with the Rams. Typically by Thanksgiving we were out
- 1:48:00Speaker 4: of the playoff picture. You got like five games where
- 1:48:04Speaker 4: you're sitting there, you know, and CYA, that's all what
- 1:48:08Speaker 4: we would say the last four or five weeks to
- 1:48:11Speaker 4: see why A meaning.
- 1:48:13Speaker 3: That when the coaches and the owner and the GM
- 1:48:16Speaker 3: turn on this film, you ain't the problem.
- 1:48:23Speaker 4: But it's a terrible situation to be sitting there playing
- 1:48:27Speaker 4: football that way. It really really is, because the fruit
- 1:48:33Speaker 4: is all about making it to the playoff and when
- 1:48:36Speaker 4: that switch happens, you don't want You almost want a
- 1:48:40Speaker 4: little minor injury to get you out of that. And
- 1:48:43Speaker 4: so I'm saying, why didn't In football, since there's only
- 1:48:46Speaker 4: fifty three people on the roster and only forty seven dress,
- 1:48:51Speaker 4: there really isn't any depth. It's not like, you know,
- 1:48:55Speaker 4: there's there's not five more linemen on the team that
- 1:48:58Speaker 4: can come out and play. And all I'm asking is.
- 1:49:01Speaker 3: Why one guy that can come in for either me
- 1:49:06Speaker 3: or the right tackle. That's it.
- 1:49:07Speaker 4: That's all that's on the squad. So based on if
- 1:49:11Speaker 4: you got to reach some kind of incentive. Now that's
- 1:49:14Speaker 4: put on hole because now you're not even running those
- 1:49:17Speaker 4: plays or you know, you need twelve more catches in
- 1:49:21Speaker 4: the next two games. But now y'all doing some other
- 1:49:24Speaker 4: stuff because it's not Now. You gotta hope that they
- 1:49:29Speaker 4: That's what Antonio Brown up there, taking his shirt off
- 1:49:33Speaker 4: when he's with THEE.
- 1:49:35Speaker 3: When he was that's what happened with him.
- 1:49:36Speaker 4: He thought they were not going to give him the ball,
- 1:49:39Speaker 4: and then pretty Tom threw him the first couple of balls.
- 1:49:42Speaker 4: He was trying to get him his incentives, but he
- 1:49:46Speaker 4: felt like the coordinator was phasing him out.
- 1:49:49Speaker 3: He busts a gasket sometimes.
- 1:49:53Speaker 4: Because he got so many conspiracies in his head, just
- 1:49:56Speaker 4: like he thinks somebody was attacking him and now he
- 1:49:58Speaker 4: was defending himself.
- 1:50:00Speaker 6: We've all thought somebody was attacking us and decided to
- 1:50:03Speaker 6: defend Am I right, Am I right?
- 1:50:06Speaker 3: We don't all done that.
- 1:50:08Speaker 4: Uh if as your skit of being the anti whatever,
- 1:50:12Speaker 4: like little comments like that, Allegedly those are the things
- 1:50:16Speaker 4: where mister Lloyd is saying, you haven't learned anything at
- 1:50:20Speaker 4: least on the mic.
- 1:50:21Speaker 3: Now what you do out of here, we don't know.
- 1:50:23Speaker 4: Maybe you will imply you're a different person, but on
- 1:50:25Speaker 4: the mic you you still sound like someone who is racist, sexist,
- 1:50:32Speaker 4: uh and fun uninformed.
- 1:50:36Speaker 2: We'll be back with more than sports jock shows after this.
- 1:50:53Speaker 9: Don't go a Wayne Born of the sports John Hill
- 1:50:55Speaker 9: with Wayne Gamdidias coming up next.

- 1:52:01Speaker 17: The sports shot dot com. And now back to the
- 1:52:06Speaker 17: sports John Wayne Gandy.
- 1:52:09Speaker 1: Now it's time for the school board when we put
- 1:52:13Speaker 1: a spin on light and sports and how they intermingle
- 1:52:17Speaker 1: on the Sports Jack Show with Wayne Gandy.
- 1:52:41Speaker 4: No way, you'll welcome back to the Sports Shot Show.
- 1:52:44Speaker 4: I'm the Sports Shot Wayne Candy. You know I'm gonna
- 1:52:47Speaker 4: wish you a merry Christmas at the end. Uh So,
- 1:52:49Speaker 4: I gotta get all my ocean candidates out the way
- 1:52:53Speaker 4: right now, right now, you know, So y'all can chime in.
- 1:52:56Speaker 4: Brandon Aiyuk are the forty nine ers filming himself going
- 1:52:59Speaker 4: one hundred four miles per hour and put it on
- 1:53:02Speaker 4: social media?
- 1:53:07Speaker 2: Thoughts?
- 1:53:08Speaker 3: Why would you film yourself?
- 1:53:14Speaker 4: Oh?
- 1:53:14Speaker 3: That's definitely.
- 1:53:15Speaker 4: Can they use that in forty yeah? Can they use
- 1:53:19Speaker 4: that in the and for for use it for what?
- 1:53:23Speaker 4: Can the sheriff office police officer use that as evidence?
- 1:53:27Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 1:53:28Speaker 3: It wouldn't it be evidence evidence anyway?
- 1:53:36Speaker 4: The Jake Paul Anthony Joshua Fight, the spectacle. It seems
- 1:53:40Speaker 4: that I didn't watch it, so I don't know. I
- 1:53:44Speaker 4: just read that Jake Paul got his jaw broken in
- 1:53:48Speaker 4: two places, and oh two places, Okay, Anthony Joshua heavyweight.
- 1:53:52Speaker 4: He was about thirty pounds heavier than Jake Paul, right,
- 1:53:56Speaker 4: I think it was like two fifteen versus two forty five,
- 1:54:00Speaker 4: which and van the hold the field. That was always
- 1:54:03Speaker 4: how he fought. It's always somebody twenty twenty five pounds
- 1:54:06Speaker 4: a lot of times heavier than him. So that don't
- 1:54:08Speaker 4: mean you can't win. Did any of you watch that?
- 1:54:12Speaker 3: No, No, I didn't watch it. I just I didn't
- 1:54:16Speaker 3: even know what was happening.
- 1:54:17Speaker 2: I heard Saul. I thought it was old or something.
- 1:54:20Speaker 2: I didn't realize it was still going on. I thought
- 1:54:23Speaker 2: that had happened like in the summer.
- 1:54:25Speaker 3: Oh it was. It was Friday.
- 1:54:28Speaker 4: Yeah, he was gonna fight Tank Davis. But then, yeah,
- 1:54:32Speaker 4: all that stuff happened. So then Anthony Joshua was kind
- 1:54:35Speaker 4: of like a last minute replacement to make the fight
- 1:54:41Speaker 4: happen because it like the it had already been marketed
- 1:54:43Speaker 4: and they reserved the place and all that.
- 1:54:45Speaker 2: So oh, Anthony came in and said, hey, I ain't
- 1:54:48Speaker 2: got nothing.
- 1:54:48Speaker 4: And that's that's a different idea. I'm gonna fight someone
- 1:54:53Speaker 4: like eighty pounds heavier than the guy was gonna fight
- 1:55:00Speaker 4: Davids like one sixty. Yeah, it's a bit away, and
- 1:55:06Speaker 4: I just decided to go get a guy this two forty.
- 1:55:09Speaker 20: Man.
- 1:55:10Speaker 4: That's a big, big difference. The Alabama game. Fifty cent
- 1:55:14Speaker 4: came out right Alabama, Texas, A and M. He came
- 1:55:17Speaker 4: out wrapped a little quick rap performance, right man, man
- 1:55:25Speaker 4: typically something like that. It wasn't a halftime show. It
- 1:55:27Speaker 4: was like came out of the.
- 1:55:29Speaker 3: Tunnel half dam for fun. Name was this Alabama? Who
- 1:55:34Speaker 3: brought him? Or Texas and M?
- 1:55:37Speaker 2: There was Oklahoma?
- 1:55:38Speaker 3: I mean Oklahoma. I'm sorry, Oklahoma, all right. I don't know.
- 1:55:43Speaker 3: I didn't I didn't see this game. I didn't. I
- 1:55:44Speaker 3: didn't know he performed who.
- 1:55:47Speaker 2: Stars or HBO sponsored or somebody. You don't give me that.
- 1:55:51Speaker 3: I don't know who it was that bought him there.
- 1:55:54Speaker 6: I just thought that that was a unique spot to
- 1:55:57Speaker 6: put him in and for that demographic fan base. When
- 1:56:03Speaker 6: we have conversations about race, nothing says the color line
- 1:56:08Speaker 6: has been blurred quite like fifty being at Oklahoma Alabama game.
- 1:56:15Speaker 4: During the playoffs to come out just out of the tunnel,
- 1:56:18Speaker 4: to be on some eye. What's going on? All my
- 1:56:20Speaker 4: in words and beat words, everybody being on some yeah,
- 1:56:26Speaker 4: and they all know the words. Everybody you saw ma'mo
- 1:56:30Speaker 4: and Pat Paul like me.
- 1:56:33Speaker 3: So we have come a little bit.
- 1:56:34Speaker 2: We've come a little bit. The average who they wasn't
- 1:56:38Speaker 2: calling him Curtis Jackson, Well that's what I was.
- 1:56:40Speaker 4: One of them call him fy fy Mama, it's fitty
- 1:56:43Speaker 4: And she was like, boy, I know clock to T.
- 1:56:47Speaker 3: Well.
- 1:56:47Speaker 2: The average commercial is, uh, you don't know nothing about
- 1:56:50Speaker 2: no fitty know fitty break time is three minutes.
- 1:56:53Speaker 7: So to give him a minute thirty seconds and come
- 1:56:55Speaker 7: back in on the intro instead of a minute thirty two.
- 1:56:58Speaker 4: I mean, something like that you just typically haven't seen
- 1:57:01Speaker 4: on especially on the college landscape, where you cut to
- 1:57:04Speaker 4: some kind of performance, just shows you how entertainment in
- 1:57:08Speaker 4: the world.
- 1:57:09Speaker 3: Of sports is really, reallyss.
- 1:57:12Speaker 4: They're going to try to plug it at any cause
- 1:57:15Speaker 4: this wasn't even like we're saying, this is not we
- 1:57:18Speaker 4: cut away to a performer somewhere up in the breezeway.
- 1:57:23Speaker 4: This is him walking out on the field like the
- 1:57:26Speaker 4: game over almost kind of mindset because I've been playing
- 1:57:31Speaker 4: like basketball arenas or somewhere. They had cut away and
- 1:57:34Speaker 4: they got somebody set up in the parking somewhere else.
- 1:57:39Speaker 4: But to be walking out on the field just shows
- 1:57:42Speaker 4: you how sports and entertainment truly are combining. The head
- 1:57:46Speaker 4: coach up there, Cooley for Georgetown, through the water bottle,
- 1:57:51Speaker 4: they have suspended him. Emotions is a thing, ain't it.
- 1:57:57Speaker 3: It wasn't even the way you hit a kid hit
- 1:58:01Speaker 3: a kid, but he hit a kid that's like family
- 1:58:04Speaker 3: to him, So that's different.
- 1:58:06Speaker 4: But we've all hit kids like family to What's not
- 1:58:10Speaker 4: where he threw it like you're going to hit somebody.
- 1:58:13Speaker 4: He was trying to throw it further into the stands
- 1:58:16Speaker 4: and he just has a horrible arm and it flipped
- 1:58:18Speaker 4: across and hit.
- 1:58:22Speaker 3: It was horrible. It was a horrible It didn't go
- 1:58:25Speaker 3: anywhere that he wanted it to go.
- 1:58:27Speaker 6: But the thing that kept jumping out to me is
- 1:58:31Speaker 6: that athletes, coaches, sports staff have not have now started
- 1:58:37Speaker 6: to display the emotion.
- 1:58:39Speaker 3: It's not like they hadn't been emotional before.
- 1:58:41Speaker 6: We've all had feelings, but they're willing to display them
- 1:58:44Speaker 6: in ways that are uncharacteristic for this exercise.
- 1:58:50Speaker 4: W NBA players have authorized for the players Union to strike.
- 1:58:56Speaker 4: I don't know when the CBA works out, but to me,
- 1:58:59Speaker 4: young ladies and women, uh, you're rolling the dice that
- 1:59:04Speaker 4: you can bring your fan base back. As the four
- 1:59:07Speaker 4: of us even said, it's not necessarily. We will watch
- 1:59:11Speaker 4: you and enjoy you and appreciate the greatness of you.
- 1:59:14Speaker 4: But I don't know that we're sitting here would be
- 1:59:18Speaker 4: paying attention.
- 1:59:20Speaker 3: Too.
- 1:59:21Speaker 4: I don't know, you know if the noise will be
- 1:59:23Speaker 4: enough for people. And this is just from the basis
- 1:59:27Speaker 4: that it seems like the owners of the w n
- 1:59:31Speaker 4: b A put up with a lot for a lot
- 1:59:35Speaker 4: of years, and then as soon as you get a
- 1:59:39Speaker 4: little success, you forgot all them nights. I'll let you
- 1:59:42Speaker 4: sleep on that cot in my guest room. Remember that,
- 1:59:47Speaker 4: Remember that you had no gas money. And I don't
- 1:59:51Speaker 4: know what that means. But I'm talking about somebody that
- 1:59:54Speaker 4: you looked out.
- 1:59:54Speaker 3: And carrying you.
- 1:59:55Speaker 23: Now.
- 1:59:56Speaker 2: Yes, I'm.
- 1:59:58Speaker 4: Looking now they want I've been looking out for you.
- 2:00:02Speaker 4: I've been looking at I left a key under the mat.
- 2:00:06Speaker 4: I knew you wasn't qualified for that project. Now you're
- 2:00:10Speaker 4: saying you need the code to the gate. Miles Jack
- 2:00:16Speaker 4: charged with deadly conduct. I won't know what Mile Jack.
- 2:00:19Speaker 4: He tried to jump out of a jumped out of
- 2:00:22Speaker 4: the second story window. Are y'all watching too much TV?
- 2:00:28Speaker 4: Too many action movies?
- 2:00:30Speaker 9: Right?
- 2:00:31Speaker 13: Is that? How?
- 2:00:31Speaker 4: That sometimes what you're thinking, like they're not even coming.
- 2:00:35Speaker 4: But I'm saying they're not even coming here to get
- 2:00:37Speaker 4: you for like a big crime. They're coming here just
- 2:00:44Speaker 4: something that you probably been able to talk.
- 2:00:46Speaker 3: Your way up.
- 2:00:47Speaker 2: And that weed not smelling them.
- 2:00:50Speaker 3: No broke your leg.
- 2:00:52Speaker 2: I got I got, I got the weed. Okay, thanks sir.
- 2:00:59Speaker 3: We were just.
- 2:01:01Speaker 2: But to police. I'm out the wind now. But everybody
- 2:01:07Speaker 2: made like that.
- 2:01:08Speaker 6: Let me say that that that's just goes to show
- 2:01:11Speaker 6: people jumping out of windows and things like that which.
- 2:01:14Speaker 3: Turned off the fifty Just turn out power force after
- 2:01:19Speaker 3: police after police come to your.
- 2:01:21Speaker 6: And if you want to take anything from them shows,
- 2:01:24Speaker 6: take the part where they bail out.
- 2:01:27Speaker 2: They always bail out.
- 2:01:28Speaker 6: They always got a savvy lawyer to come down and
- 2:01:30Speaker 6: get them out without breaking any bones.
- 2:01:32Speaker 2: And we are in the ocean. The truth is he
- 2:01:37Speaker 2: will throw your in the ocean. It's time to wrap
- 2:01:41Speaker 2: things up. On The Sports Judge Show with Wayne canny
- 2:02:15Speaker 2: when you're the times of the ocean, get to sport.
- 2:02:17Speaker 2: Shout just a minute to Ben.
- 2:02:18Speaker 4: We'd like to thank you for today's viewership and for
- 2:02:22Speaker 4: those that have watched us all year.
- 2:02:24Speaker 3: We appreciated.
- 2:02:25Speaker 4: Any men in any segment, any hour, come at you,
- 2:02:28Speaker 4: Greg Vig, Kenny bad Producer, Thank you for your contribution
- 2:02:32Speaker 4: to today's show us the holiday season, Christmas is here,
- 2:02:36Speaker 4: Hanukah and everything else. I hope you'd be safe out there.
- 2:02:41Speaker 4: I usually, you know, let things slide by for the holidays,
- 2:02:47Speaker 4: but this year I'm gonna break that tradition, you big dummy.
- 2:02:50Speaker 4: DK metcalf Man. We got places to go. We're trying
- 2:02:55Speaker 4: to win. We're trying to win a division. We're trying
- 2:02:57Speaker 4: to host of a home playoff game, maybe against the Texans,
- 2:03:01Speaker 4: or bring the Chargers out of that nice comfy so
- 2:03:05Speaker 4: far into the cold winner of Pittsburgh and just give
- 2:03:08Speaker 4: myself a chance. You're a number one receiver and now
- 2:03:14Speaker 4: you're the number one knucklehead on the team. Are you
- 2:03:18Speaker 4: way over there talking to a dude You don't even
- 2:03:21Speaker 4: know what's going on. You don't even know this dude,
- 2:03:25Speaker 4: God did a guy that don't You don't even know,
- 2:03:27Speaker 4: get your attention cost you probably a good two hundred
- 2:03:32Speaker 4: and fifty three hundred thouss. I know some of y'all
- 2:03:37Speaker 4: like to just brush that, like that's not for three
- 2:03:39Speaker 4: hundred thousand dollars to talk to a guy you don't know.
- 2:03:42Speaker 3: That's a lot of money.
- 2:03:44Speaker 6: I talk.
- 2:03:47Speaker 3: For half.
- 2:03:48Speaker 2: I talked to you for half.
- 2:03:51Speaker 4: The suspension I would imagine is looming and just the
- 2:03:54Speaker 4: black eye on the organization. The bad producer was trying
- 2:03:57Speaker 4: to defend Mike Tumblin, and I would defend Mike Toumblin
- 2:04:01Speaker 4: as well. Like he said, I didn't even know what
- 2:04:04Speaker 4: DK because nobody else did it. When they asked Mike
- 2:04:07Speaker 4: Tumblin at the press conference, what do you think about
- 2:04:09Speaker 4: the DK Metcalf incident?
- 2:04:11Speaker 2: What happened?
- 2:04:13Speaker 4: Yeah, even though they're choking, dude, what yeah about way
- 2:04:17Speaker 4: twenty minutes ago, twenty minutes.
- 2:04:20Speaker 3: You was out there calling third and four in the blitz.
- 2:04:24Speaker 2: Oh okay, because.
- 2:04:25Speaker 4: I missed it.
- 2:04:26Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, you back there choking to dude.
- 2:04:27Speaker 2: Man, let me see your camera. You got it on
- 2:04:32Speaker 2: your phone.
- 2:04:33Speaker 3: Let me look at this.
- 2:04:34Speaker 4: All around the country already sent me the link DK
- 2:04:37Speaker 4: Metcalf too far into the league really no time since
- 2:04:40Speaker 4: uh little league should have been the last time you
- 2:04:44Speaker 4: got upset because somebody called you by your real name?
- 2:04:50Speaker 2: What's that?
- 2:04:51Speaker 3: I don't even know. I went right back.
- 2:04:53Speaker 4: I read it and went right back to DK. If
- 2:04:58Speaker 4: you want to ask me, I would have been asking
- 2:04:59Speaker 4: you why you got nine Piersons in your head? Hey,
- 2:05:02Speaker 4: I got some other stuff. Whatever your name, you're not
- 2:05:05Speaker 4: responsible for that. You didn't name yourself that. I don't
- 2:05:09Speaker 4: even know how you can be sensitive about a name
- 2:05:11Speaker 4: that you didn't give yourself. Somebody else named me that,
- 2:05:18Speaker 4: but from the sports jock show. Throw him in the ocean, knucklehead,
- 2:05:29Speaker 4: y'all know me. I hate when you just give up
- 2:05:31Speaker 4: that good money and I'll see some good old money
- 2:05:34Speaker 4: that he could have split between the four of us
- 2:05:37Speaker 4: got a new car.
- 2:05:38Speaker 3: Imagine he's giving them enough money to get us a
- 2:05:41Speaker 3: new car.
- 2:05:41Speaker 2: All four of us could have got a new car.
- 2:05:43Speaker 6: And on your way down Land on Branday night, you
- 2:05:47Speaker 6: because he got a brand new car and Finna messing up.
- 2:05:52Speaker 4: Happy holidays, Merry Christmas, and we hope you are safe
- 2:05:56Speaker 4: and loved as the holidays come upon you.
- 2:05:59Speaker 3: From this horse talk show.
- 2:06:01Speaker 2: Peace m
