A son in Marshall County is facing serious charges after allegedly strangling his 36-year-old mother, leaving her unconscious and stealing her phone to prevent help. Deputies found bruising and a neck scratch, leading to warrants for domestic violence strangulation and second-degree elder abuse. After fleeing the scene, Busbin was finally apprehended on August 18 by a K-9 deputy, taken into custody, and now held on a $60,000 bond as legal proceedings begin.
