- 0:03Speaker 1: This is a podcast called twenty fives stuck and they
- 0:09Speaker 1: were a whist So, yeah, it's too bad, but what
- 0:12Speaker 1: did you expect. It's a podcast called twenty five Whistles
- 0:16Speaker 1: twenty wine wheels.
- 0:19Speaker 2: For those watching on video wondering why I'm doing funny faces,
- 0:22Speaker 2: Reid does the video. Since Eddie left the show, Read
- 0:26Speaker 2: also takes pictures during the show, so I do a
- 0:28Speaker 2: bunch of poses so he can have the pictures for
- 0:32Speaker 2: promotional stuff. But the poses aren't real during the show
- 0:35Speaker 2: because he's got to run video now. They as they
- 0:38Speaker 2: used to be, you know what I mean. They used
- 0:39Speaker 2: to be pictures of me actually like I don't know, performing.
- 0:42Speaker 2: Now their pictures of me acting like I'm performing, so
- 0:45Speaker 2: he can run video.
- 0:45Speaker 3: Thank you.
- 0:46Speaker 4: They're plantids the lands, Yes, thank you.
- 0:50Speaker 2: All right. This is a big episode because it is
- 0:52Speaker 2: episode sixty nine. Nice. Nice Season one, Episode sixty nine,
- 0:57Speaker 2: twenty five whistles. That's a lot more whistle and we
- 1:00Speaker 2: thought boys, it's a lot of whistles. So this show
- 1:04Speaker 2: brought to you by Draftking sports book and official sports
- 1:06Speaker 2: betting partner of the NBA. Download the DraftKings app and
- 1:09Speaker 2: use the code Bobby Sports to get in on the action.
- 1:13Speaker 2: Burt Kreischer is coming up on a little bit actor comedian.
- 1:16Speaker 2: He has a new movie coming out tomorrow called The Machine.
- 1:19Speaker 2: If you hear me refer to it as today, do
- 1:21Speaker 2: I in the interview?
- 1:22Speaker 4: Yeah, okay, that's okay.
- 1:24Speaker 2: Just know that we were initially gonna put this out Friday,
- 1:26Speaker 2: but now we're like, let's put out a day earlier
- 1:28Speaker 2: because everybody rocks. They deserve this, They deserve episode sixty nine.
- 1:33Speaker 4: So he'll come on.
- 1:34Speaker 2: We'll talk about him always taking a shirt off in public,
- 1:36Speaker 2: how that happened, wait, it first started on stage, and
- 1:39Speaker 2: how people want him to do in public. But he's
- 1:41Speaker 2: super funny. I hope you stay and you listen that long.
- 1:44Speaker 2: Everybody good, We're good. I know Kevin's good. Freaking Celtics won.
- 1:47Speaker 2: I told you they would, and I hit my bet, Yeah, Parlay,
- 1:50Speaker 2: I hit both of them. Everybody counting those smiles. There
- 1:53Speaker 2: is a segment coming up to where I'm really upset
- 1:54Speaker 2: because I bet a bunch of the Lakers. We recorded
- 1:57Speaker 2: this on Tuesday. The segment we're gonna air later, and
- 1:59Speaker 2: I say it's Tuesday. I just want to capture how
- 2:01Speaker 2: disappointed I was with life. In me and the Lakers
- 2:04Speaker 2: and my bank account all at the same time. So
- 2:06Speaker 2: that is a segment we purposely recorded so you could
- 2:08Speaker 2: hear it, and we'll do it coming up before the
- 2:10Speaker 2: final thoughts. But your thoughts down three to one Celtics, Kevin,
- 2:15Speaker 2: you gotta get the one before you get the two,
- 2:16Speaker 2: three or four your thoughts.
- 2:17Speaker 5: Yeah, agreed. I'm not even remotely excited yet until they
- 2:21Speaker 5: get a win tonight. If they get a win tonight,
- 2:23Speaker 5: I will be excited. I'll be like, Okay, there's a chance,
- 2:26Speaker 5: there might be a chance.
- 2:27Speaker 2: I think to say that you're not remotely excited will
- 2:31Speaker 2: be false because remotely means not at all. It means
- 2:36Speaker 2: there's no center of excite and there is, there's a
- 2:40Speaker 2: base for your excitement. You're excited to hopefully be excited.
- 2:44Speaker 2: Oh that's the heap because if they win, you'll be excited.
- 2:47Speaker 2: How exciting is that that you could be excited again
- 2:49Speaker 2: if your team's only one game down.
- 2:51Speaker 5: Yes, yes, so yeah, I'm excited to get excited. So
- 2:54Speaker 5: there's a little excitement in there, so I guess not remotely,
- 2:57Speaker 5: but they need to win Tonight's very small excited and
- 3:00Speaker 5: then very very very minimal excitement. I watched the game
- 3:03Speaker 5: the other night and I had zero reaction energy, probably
- 3:06Speaker 5: for the first three quarters. I was watching like game
- 3:08Speaker 5: one of eighty two regular season because I didn't want
- 3:10Speaker 5: to put any emotion into it, and it turned out great.
- 3:13Speaker 5: So that's that's the game plan.
- 3:14Speaker 2: I'm putting a lot of emotion and not having emotion.
- 3:16Speaker 2: I know how that feels. Yes, yes, so there's emotion,
- 3:19Speaker 2: but it's really hard to do that thing where you
- 3:21Speaker 2: don't have emotion. Yes, so I hope they win. I
- 3:24Speaker 2: do believe they will win again. The line is, I mean,
- 3:27Speaker 2: they're such a favorite back in Boston. At one point
- 3:30Speaker 2: it was like nine or ten. It's at eight now
- 3:32Speaker 2: because it's starting to adjust from it being just a
- 3:35Speaker 2: crazy favorite again. They're gonna win here at home. Here's
- 3:39Speaker 2: the thing, you're not saying this. I'm not a fan,
- 3:43Speaker 2: so I can say whatever. There's no jinx if you're
- 3:44Speaker 2: not a fan. I think they're definitely gonna win tonight.
- 3:46Speaker 2: I thought that the whole time. If they go to
- 3:49Speaker 2: Miami and win that game, it's over. They will not
- 3:52Speaker 2: lose Game seven. It's oh if they So they'll win tonight.
- 3:57Speaker 2: Don't get so excited though. If they win, they'll be
- 4:01Speaker 2: the first team to ever come back from three in
- 4:04Speaker 2: NBA playoff history. And what will be annoying for people
- 4:07Speaker 2: like me is to have to hear Boston's done it
- 4:08Speaker 2: in two sports and only Boston's done it. Now, I
- 4:11Speaker 2: am rooting for the Celtics because I'm rooting for you,
- 4:13Speaker 2: and they don't have an interest in this.
- 4:15Speaker 4: So my interest is your interest and.
- 4:18Speaker 5: I appreciate that very much. At worked the other night.
- 4:20Speaker 4: I will take it. They will win. They will just win.
- 4:26Speaker 2: That's it.
- 4:27Speaker 4: We'll talk about the bet in a minute.
- 4:30Speaker 2: I think their coach is getting a little he's getting
- 4:33Speaker 2: beat up a little too much.
- 4:34Speaker 4: The vogue thing now do.
- 4:35Speaker 2: Is to beat it is to beat up a first
- 4:38Speaker 2: time coach that's in over his head. And if true, okay,
- 4:43Speaker 2: but thinking they're like, we gotta fire them.
- 4:45Speaker 4: Think of all he's learned from this run.
- 4:48Speaker 5: Now, Miami had their flight delayed three hours.
- 4:53Speaker 4: And that's great, but listen, think of that Mozilla whatever.
- 4:55Speaker 3: His name is.
- 4:55Speaker 2: Yeah, think about all he's learned from this. You're gonna
- 4:58Speaker 2: invest all this in him with the full season, he's
- 5:01Speaker 2: gonna go. Let's say he gets beat in game six
- 5:03Speaker 2: at the Eastern Conference Finals or game seven Eastern Conference Finals,
- 5:08Speaker 2: and you're like, well, I guess he just wasn't a
- 5:09Speaker 2: guy who couldn't get our players to perform. But the
- 5:14Speaker 2: year you invested in him, when he didn't perform, he's
- 5:17Speaker 2: been able to learn so much and you're gonna cut
- 5:20Speaker 2: that now. I know you don't like him, Well, you
- 5:24Speaker 2: don't like what he's done so far, and I think
- 5:26Speaker 2: you've been. I think you.
- 5:30Speaker 3: Have been.
- 5:32Speaker 5: You have the toxicity and you from other people talking
- 5:34Speaker 5: about it, Yeah, I see a lot of it, but
- 5:36Speaker 5: I'm more so on the players than him. And even
- 5:39Speaker 5: before last last game, I talked about the players not
- 5:42Speaker 5: showing any energy, and then even in the first half
- 5:44Speaker 5: of last game, they didn't really show much. Came out
- 5:45Speaker 5: in the second half and he called time out. It's
- 5:47Speaker 5: just simple things like calling a timeout when he go
- 5:49Speaker 5: on a.
- 5:50Speaker 4: Nine zero run, like absolutely, and you know he's probably
- 5:52Speaker 4: learned now.
- 5:53Speaker 5: And he did that last game and look what happened.
- 5:55Speaker 2: It's like sending somebody to score for three and a
- 5:56Speaker 2: half years because you're gonna hire them to do a
- 5:58Speaker 2: job and you're like, ah, a man, they didn't quite
- 6:01Speaker 2: make the grades. I wanted a screw it, I'm gonna
- 6:05Speaker 2: stop paying for their education and not hire them.
- 6:07Speaker 4: You get half a year, you just invested three and
- 6:08Speaker 4: a half years, and the finish it up. Let's see
- 6:10Speaker 4: what's up.
- 6:10Speaker 2: Give him nut, let's hige him for a little bit.
- 6:12Speaker 2: You spend all this time of money on them. He's
- 6:15Speaker 2: got this entire education now. Also, Tatum's just not that.
- 6:19Speaker 2: Tatum's that guy. But Tatum's not that guy because he's
- 6:23Speaker 2: not a vocal leader he is. His personality is not
- 6:27Speaker 2: to be. I'm that dude.
- 6:29Speaker 4: Follow me. Let's go.
- 6:31Speaker 6: Now.
- 6:31Speaker 2: He's gonna play really well except for his fourth quarters.
- 6:33Speaker 2: Except for the last game I've been I don't think
- 6:35Speaker 2: he made a bucket except for he'd been five five
- 6:38Speaker 2: five shots in the last game in the fourth quarter.
- 6:41Speaker 4: Oh yeah, five field goals.
- 6:42Speaker 3: So I don't know.
- 6:43Speaker 2: I just wouldn't fire him. I don't care what happens.
- 6:45Speaker 2: I'd give him one more year regardless.
- 6:46Speaker 5: Yeah, no, I agree with that. You can't not after
- 6:48Speaker 5: one year, No any of the Brad Stevens guys. So
- 6:50Speaker 5: Brad Stevens sign him the extension. He's gonna keep him around.
- 6:52Speaker 2: They did sign the extension this year, but people are like,
- 6:54Speaker 2: who cares fire him one more year regardless of what happens.
- 6:57Speaker 5: Yeah, big Missoula guy, And I'm not.
- 7:00Speaker 2: I'm a big guy.
- 7:01Speaker 4: Off.
- 7:02Speaker 2: If you're gonna give somebody a year and you know
- 7:05Speaker 2: they're new, they're gonna do things that new people do,
- 7:10Speaker 2: They're gonna have pressures put on them they've never had,
- 7:12Speaker 2: and they're probably gonna screw up. But the question is
- 7:14Speaker 2: can they learn from those screw ups and do it
- 7:16Speaker 2: better in year two? Not even your two? Give them
- 7:18Speaker 2: a year and a half.
- 7:20Speaker 5: I think it's such a So many coaches are being
- 7:22Speaker 5: fired now in the NBA too, We're like, really really,
- 7:24Speaker 5: So it's just just I think it's.
- 7:26Speaker 4: A Rockey FENIXX.
- 7:29Speaker 2: I mean, look at Quinn Snyder who went down to
- 7:31Speaker 2: Atlanta and really turned them around quickly, and people are like,
- 7:34Speaker 2: why would you take that job knowing that these other
- 7:36Speaker 2: jobs are gonna come open? I think he took that
- 7:38Speaker 2: job because he knew what he could do. So good luck,
- 7:41Speaker 2: thank you. I hope you win.
- 7:43Speaker 4: If you win tonight, it's all on game six.
- 7:45Speaker 5: Gabe Vincent is out now, by the way, Really yeah,
- 7:48Speaker 5: I mean he had twenty nine A couple of games ago,
- 7:49Speaker 5: so fingers crossed.
- 7:51Speaker 2: Hey, thanks, are looking enough. Don't get excited though I
- 7:56Speaker 2: don't know.
- 7:57Speaker 4: Okay, we're here, we got a lot to do.
- 8:00Speaker 2: Let's do the tittles saddle first name the tittle tattle.
- 8:06Speaker 1: Okay.
- 8:08Speaker 2: You know what I've become obsessed with is buying personalized
- 8:11Speaker 2: golf balls. Used to back in the day, I mean
- 8:15Speaker 2: even a year ago. You go and you go, I'm
- 8:16Speaker 2: gonna write this funny thing on a golf ball, and
- 8:19Speaker 2: it would take three weeks or so to get to you,
- 8:20Speaker 2: four weeks, five weeks, six weeks, put a picture on it,
- 8:22Speaker 2: six to eight weeks. And you're like, why I would
- 8:24Speaker 2: even want to care to order that, because it's gonna
- 8:26Speaker 2: be like seventy bucks and then it's gonna take eight weeks.
- 8:28Speaker 2: I'm not even gonna remember buying it. I'm excited to
- 8:30Speaker 2: have it now and then so you just don't do it. Well, Now,
- 8:33Speaker 2: this is not a commercial. I'm not gonna say where
- 8:35Speaker 2: I get MP from. I found a site that ships
- 8:36Speaker 2: them off in like five days.
- 8:38Speaker 5: Really, so yeah, they are arkansaft for you.
- 8:42Speaker 2: I can buy those already, but you can put like
- 8:44Speaker 2: your own pictures and your own words on them. I
- 8:46Speaker 2: guess unless it's like s my d, you probably can't
- 8:49Speaker 2: do that. I don't know if you can or not,
- 8:51Speaker 2: but it's it's probably like an NFL jersey, right you
- 8:53Speaker 2: can't put you know, penis on it. So but I
- 8:57Speaker 2: haven't tried, but that would be hilarious. I put penis
- 9:00Speaker 2: on it.
- 9:02Speaker 5: Balls and a ball.
- 9:04Speaker 3: Oh yeah.
- 9:04Speaker 2: I wonder if there are rules, because it's not like
- 9:06Speaker 2: it anyway. There's a sight and they get it to
- 9:08Speaker 2: you in like a week, and so I ordered. Why
- 9:12Speaker 2: I got to the site was I had ordered some
- 9:15Speaker 2: OU balls for my father in law, and what had
- 9:19Speaker 2: happened was the Ou Reds and the Arkansas Reds are
- 9:22Speaker 2: the same red to meet some color blind. And I
- 9:25Speaker 2: grabbed the OU balls and played with them, and I
- 9:27Speaker 2: was like, God, dang, this is gonna be a gift.
- 9:28Speaker 2: And now I've just played with these balls, I've lost
- 9:30Speaker 2: some of them, and you can't give I'm not gonna
- 9:31Speaker 2: give them. One little sleeve had a whole box. So
- 9:34Speaker 2: I got to order some more. So I found this side.
- 9:35Speaker 2: I went to it and I was like, well I
- 9:37Speaker 2: do this, let me see how long it takes get
- 9:38Speaker 2: the picture once. So I took a headshot of me
- 9:40Speaker 2: some of the new ones I did. I just put
- 9:41Speaker 2: it on, put my head on there, and they came
- 9:43Speaker 2: quick and they're hilarious. So I just ordered some more.
- 9:47Speaker 2: I have a whole box of them to put my
- 9:48Speaker 2: wife's head on. She doesn't no yet, she doesn't play.
- 9:50Speaker 2: I'm gonna play with them, my Caitlin balls.
- 9:54Speaker 4: I'm probably gonna put some Stanley Bulder again.
- 9:56Speaker 2: I'm not even to tell you the site because this
- 9:57Speaker 2: is not a commercial, but that's become my new obsession.
- 10:00Speaker 2: And it's not that much more like seven bucks more?
- 10:01Speaker 5: Oh really?
- 10:02Speaker 2: Yeah, so you can get a noodle with your head
- 10:04Speaker 2: on it, like twenty bucks a box.
- 10:06Speaker 3: That's awesome.
- 10:07Speaker 5: Promo code Bobby's Balls promo.
- 10:09Speaker 2: Nice play with Bobby's ball, all right, tittle tatlemy Lebron
- 10:15Speaker 2: is already talking about whether or not he's going to
- 10:17Speaker 2: retire this offseason, and looking back, who is the most
- 10:20Speaker 2: annoying athlete that you've had go back and forth in
- 10:23Speaker 2: junior retirement?
- 10:24Speaker 4: Well, Aaron Rodgers recently was pretty annoying.
- 10:28Speaker 2: I don't want recency bias to take me over, So
- 10:30Speaker 2: I'm gonna go Brett Farv because that one was that
- 10:34Speaker 2: was this is stupid over and over again, and they
- 10:36Speaker 2: were like tracking them with a helicopter and it was
- 10:39Speaker 2: the worst. And I liked far fine. I didn't dislike FARV.
- 10:42Speaker 2: I just became annoyed with that same little song and dance.
- 10:45Speaker 2: It's just so weird when Rogers started doing it too.
- 10:49Speaker 2: Also because of the other parallels, the Packers basically the
- 10:53Speaker 2: same stats. FARV also went to the Jets. Yeah, I
- 10:58Speaker 2: played with the Jets pro It's so oh, that's that's bizarre.
- 11:01Speaker 2: He's like bizarro FARV. But I'm going FARV and I'm
- 11:04Speaker 2: also rooting for Aaron Rodgers and the Jets. You know,
- 11:06Speaker 2: we had a little ankle ankle deal.
- 11:08Speaker 5: Yeah, I saw that.
- 11:09Speaker 2: Listen, ankle, this a calf and I think it's nothing.
- 11:11Speaker 2: It was from the version of the story that I
- 11:13Speaker 2: heard that I think has changed a bunch. They were
- 11:15Speaker 2: doing some conditioning and he like pull He's on the
- 11:17Speaker 2: side of the field and they just took pictures of him.
- 11:19Speaker 2: They really didn't know what was up, and they were
- 11:21Speaker 2: like Aaron Rodgers injured, and then Lazard was out too,
- 11:24Speaker 2: and they were like Lizard's hurt. I think he got
- 11:26Speaker 2: kicked in the balls or like punching the ball. So
- 11:29Speaker 2: it wasn't even a real injury promo code Lazard's balls.
- 11:34Speaker 2: But that's gonna be such a storyline the Jets.
- 11:36Speaker 5: Yeah, they're gonna find anything they can.
- 11:38Speaker 2: One it's New York. Two it's Aaron Rodgers, and those
- 11:43Speaker 2: two things by themselves already get a lot of press together.
- 11:48Speaker 2: Oh man, I'm rooting for him, though I usually hate
- 11:51Speaker 2: these situations. I'm rooting for Rogers to do it again,
- 11:54Speaker 2: all right, but I go Brett far most annoying retirement
- 11:57Speaker 2: of all time.
- 11:58Speaker 4: Next.
- 11:58Speaker 3: Okay.
- 11:58Speaker 5: Current head coach openings include the Bucks, Sons and seventy
- 12:01Speaker 5: six Yers. We talked about a little bit if you
- 12:02Speaker 5: were an NBA coach, which one would you choose.
- 12:05Speaker 2: It wouldn't be a Milwaukee because I don't want to
- 12:07Speaker 2: live in Milwaukee. The city's actually great, except in winter.
- 12:10Speaker 2: I don't like cold. I was actually surprised at how
- 12:12Speaker 2: awesome Milwaukee was. We did like four days there for
- 12:16Speaker 2: American Idol. We did one of our stops there or
- 12:19Speaker 2: was it basically open auditions and so I would just
- 12:22Speaker 2: go out with camera and they knew some of the
- 12:24Speaker 2: people they wanted me to talk to, but some I
- 12:26Speaker 2: would just go and find and make them sing and
- 12:29Speaker 2: but we'd spend all afternoon and all night in Milwaukee
- 12:31Speaker 2: just doing normal stuff. It was an amazing city, but it.
- 12:35Speaker 4: Would just be too cold. I don't want to go
- 12:37Speaker 4: to Milwaukee.
- 12:37Speaker 2: Who knows how long Giannis is going to be there anyway,
- 12:41Speaker 2: but I just want to want to go to Milwaukee. Now, Philadelphia,
- 12:43Speaker 2: same want going to Philadelphia's cold, and they'll beat me up.
- 12:49Speaker 2: I'm not a cup out for Philadelphia. I liked Philadelphia again.
- 12:53Speaker 2: I don't want to live anywhere cold. Philadelphia's sports media
- 12:59Speaker 2: seems real tough. I think if you get to choose,
- 13:03Speaker 2: that's a great job to get if it's the job
- 13:04Speaker 2: you get. But if you're making me choose, I ain't
- 13:07Speaker 2: going anywhere cold, And am I going anywhere where? The
- 13:12Speaker 2: team's kind of like, I don't know, are they gonna
- 13:13Speaker 2: be here? Is hardly going to be here? Does embiid
- 13:16Speaker 2: want to stay? Is he don't want to go to
- 13:17Speaker 2: the Knicks. I don't like that with Superstars. So I'm
- 13:20Speaker 2: going to Phoenix because one on a cold, two they
- 13:24Speaker 2: have a new owner. There's gonna be like a celebrity himself.
- 13:27Speaker 2: Young guy wants to win three. They all most have it.
- 13:33Speaker 2: There's thin but with Booker and Durant and then doesn't matter.
- 13:38Speaker 2: You go aiden you want to go, you can list.
- 13:40Speaker 2: They're about a player and a half away from being
- 13:45Speaker 2: really unstoppable in the West. I mean, Denver's so good,
- 13:49Speaker 2: but it's Denver and than everybody else in the West.
- 13:53Speaker 2: But Phoenix could be that that can they beat Denver team?
- 13:58Speaker 2: And I think they can if they've got just one
- 14:00Speaker 2: and a half more guys. Meaning, give me another quality starter,
- 14:03Speaker 2: give me a three guy not playing the three, but
- 14:05Speaker 2: give me a number three guy, and then give me
- 14:08Speaker 2: a good bench player that can just shoot. Give me
- 14:10Speaker 2: a shooter. They can need to some of those minutes.
- 14:12Speaker 2: Probably a two or three as well, because I mean
- 14:15Speaker 2: Katie and Booker play the whole game, every game. So
- 14:18Speaker 2: I'm going to Phoenix. I like Phoenix. Phoenix is awesome.
- 14:21Speaker 2: And if I haven't mentioned yet, it's not cold. Yes
- 14:23Speaker 2: spig factor there, Yes, next, all right?
- 14:25Speaker 5: Leave I Stadium just got approved in San Francisco to
- 14:27Speaker 5: host a super Bowl in twenty twenty six. There's one
- 14:29Speaker 5: location you could go to a super Bowl. Where would
- 14:32Speaker 5: it be?
- 14:32Speaker 2: To talk about super Bowls? I sound a little loud
- 14:35Speaker 2: of touch, but they're not fun. They kind of suck.
- 14:38Speaker 2: Now I'm gonna say that, And I understand I've been
- 14:40Speaker 2: pretty blessed in being able to go to a couple,
- 14:43Speaker 2: But I also think everybody should go to one if they can.
- 14:45Speaker 2: You have to go to one just to understand what's
- 14:48Speaker 2: happening and understand that it ain't that cool. I kind
- 14:53Speaker 2: of I'm be honest with you, I kind of compared
- 14:54Speaker 2: to being rich. I always like, if I'm rich, I'm
- 14:57Speaker 2: fixed all my problems. Nope, there's stuff I have to
- 15:00Speaker 2: worry about that I used to when I was poor.
- 15:02Speaker 2: But no, you're just it's you're more of the same person.
- 15:06Speaker 2: You're just more of it, and if you're going crazy,
- 15:08Speaker 2: you're crazier. There are times where I'm like, oh my god.
- 15:11Speaker 2: It's not even the money part. It's the pressure of
- 15:14Speaker 2: the performing, the ratings, that everything that comes with it,
- 15:17Speaker 2: because nobody just gets money with nothing else attached to it.
- 15:20Speaker 4: Unless you win the lottery.
- 15:21Speaker 2: You don't just get money because someone's like, ah, you
- 15:24Speaker 2: have a great smile, here's some money. But unless you
- 15:28Speaker 2: get there, you don't really realize it. Nothing really is different.
- 15:32Speaker 2: Like I can pay my bills. But I'm I'm going
- 15:36Speaker 2: I go crazy, Like I'm just like, what's that? I'm
- 15:38Speaker 2: so tired sometimes and I'm not whining, becau it's awesome.
- 15:40Speaker 2: I wouldn't try to finenthing in the whole world because
- 15:42Speaker 2: I get to do this stuff like this, right something
- 15:44Speaker 2: with super Bowl you have to go to go oh yeah, okay,
- 15:49Speaker 2: it's pretty cool. How about that.
- 15:51Speaker 4: I don't want to do this again.
- 15:52Speaker 5: Did you go days in advance or just that day?
- 15:54Speaker 5: Do you remember both?
- 15:57Speaker 3: One of them?
- 15:57Speaker 2: We flew in day to Miami, flew in and we
- 16:01Speaker 2: watched Drew Brees beat Peyton Manning. I believe that is
- 16:07Speaker 2: that Super Bowl. But then we went to Indy and
- 16:10Speaker 2: we went before. My thing is though, I'm not interested
- 16:14Speaker 2: in the parties, and unless you're like a big time celebrity,
- 16:17Speaker 2: you can't even get in. So I couldn't get into
- 16:20Speaker 2: a lot of the parties, and I didn't want to
- 16:21Speaker 2: even try to get in or go because that's just
- 16:23Speaker 2: not my thing. Like I'm not cut out for social anything.
- 16:27Speaker 2: Maybe that's why I'm not good at being rich, because
- 16:29Speaker 2: I don't like any of that stuff. I'd just like
- 16:31Speaker 2: to be able to pay my bills and make sure
- 16:34Speaker 2: my dogs can have surgery. Now, I'm good. Like that's
- 16:37Speaker 2: the part of it.
- 16:38Speaker 4: It's cool.
- 16:39Speaker 2: So i'd go if we were in a little rock
- 16:44Speaker 2: then only have a stadium there for a super Bowl
- 16:46Speaker 2: or an NFL team. I'd go through a mountain pine.
- 16:49Speaker 3: I like it.
- 16:51Speaker 2: But it's like prom to big build up and you
- 16:54Speaker 2: go and you're glad you win and you have a story,
- 16:57Speaker 2: but it's like it's okay, goes super Bowl.
- 17:01Speaker 3: I don't know. I'm good.
- 17:02Speaker 2: It didn't matter where it is unless it's like a
- 17:03Speaker 2: home win and they want me there. Like La had
- 17:05Speaker 2: been cool because it's inside Dome school and he was
- 17:07Speaker 2: cool because of Dome.
- 17:08Speaker 4: Miami was cool because of the weather. Remember they head of
- 17:10Speaker 4: New York and ended up being.
- 17:11Speaker 2: Okay, but that's freaking crazy to put one in New
- 17:14Speaker 2: York open air stadium.
- 17:16Speaker 5: Yeah, I'm interested to see you in San Francisco too,
- 17:18Speaker 5: because it rains there a lot.
- 17:20Speaker 2: It's cold. Temprecisco is oddly cold.
- 17:22Speaker 5: Yeah, exactly.
- 17:22Speaker 2: We did Breaking Bobby Bone in San Francisco and you
- 17:25Speaker 2: think California warm, No, it's way it's out way up there. Yeah,
- 17:28Speaker 2: and it's cold. Scrape it can be anyway. Yeah, so
- 17:31Speaker 2: I just so everybody knows Super Bowls overrated, but I
- 17:33Speaker 2: hope you get to go once. I didn't have to
- 17:35Speaker 2: pay for any of it, so oh oh no, I
- 17:37Speaker 2: didn't pay I was only gonna pay for that. No way,
- 17:38Speaker 2: I must spend a kind of money.
- 17:40Speaker 5: Okay, that makes sense.
- 17:41Speaker 2: Yeah, No, I went for in Indy. I was doing
- 17:47Speaker 2: a show on Fox Sports Radio and it was Rodick
- 17:51Speaker 2: and I and they were like, hey, we'd love for
- 17:52Speaker 2: you guys to go up and do the Super Bowl
- 17:56Speaker 2: press row, the radio row. And I was like, but
- 17:59Speaker 2: I don't want to take everybody. I don't want to
- 18:01Speaker 2: have to be and they were like, you don't have to.
- 18:03Speaker 2: You can literally have a really good spot and you
- 18:05Speaker 2: can just interview whoever you want. They built us a
- 18:07Speaker 2: huge stage. There was one of the bigger ones there.
- 18:09Speaker 2: We kind of felt like, wow, we got over dressed.
- 18:12Speaker 2: Is what it felt like. You show up to a
- 18:13Speaker 2: party overdressed. They built us this huge stage. Everybody else
- 18:15Speaker 2: is at tables, like really known personalities who I admire,
- 18:19Speaker 2: and we're like king dingling up on the throne. It
- 18:22Speaker 2: was awkward for me, and so we took lunchbox two
- 18:25Speaker 2: all three of us went. Lunchbox was kind of like
- 18:29Speaker 2: it was Andy and I and then Lunchbox was the
- 18:31Speaker 2: guy that would run and get guests or I mean
- 18:35Speaker 2: he was basically kick off Kevin.
- 18:36Speaker 5: Nice but not kick off Kevin. Oh god, no, come
- 18:40Speaker 5: on the show.
- 18:41Speaker 2: Yeah, that's when he yelled at Warren Sapa. Warren Sapple
- 18:43Speaker 2: was like, get out of my face. And then Miami
- 18:46Speaker 2: we just went because Andy had tickets in the suite.
- 18:51Speaker 2: It was like, dude, let's just go.
- 18:53Speaker 3: So we went.
- 18:53Speaker 2: Yeah, it's good. That's a good part. All right, what else?
- 18:54Speaker 3: All right?
- 18:55Speaker 5: Last one here. Tom Brady was seen giving advice to
- 18:57Speaker 5: the top four quarterbacks in the draft this year. What's
- 18:59Speaker 5: the best career advice you've ever received?
- 19:02Speaker 2: Oh, it's good, I'm gonna go worst. First, I was
- 19:07Speaker 2: with a guy who does radio, or did for thirty
- 19:12Speaker 2: years or so, and I was probably in my twenties,
- 19:16Speaker 2: like twenty four to twenty five. This was just starting
- 19:18Speaker 2: to work for me, and he said, hey, let me
- 19:22Speaker 2: give you some advice. He said, you just need to
- 19:23Speaker 2: lay low and stay out of the way if you
- 19:25Speaker 2: want to keep your job, because if you're squeaky at all,
- 19:28Speaker 2: those are the first people to go and now I
- 19:30Speaker 2: remember having that moment where I was like, man, maybe
- 19:34Speaker 2: he's right, and every instinct of mine is wrong because
- 19:38Speaker 2: he's been doing it for like twenty five or thirty years.
- 19:41Speaker 2: It didn't last long until I was like, there's no web,
- 19:43Speaker 2: never gonna survive landlow. Worst advice I ever got was
- 19:46Speaker 2: laylow now if you just want to be steady. But
- 19:52Speaker 2: even then, if you ain't making way more money than
- 19:56Speaker 2: they're making, you ain't making him way more money than
- 19:58Speaker 2: they're spending, you ain't gonna keep your job.
- 20:00Speaker 5: Now when you say laying low, do you mean like
- 20:02Speaker 5: stay out of the way or all that.
- 20:04Speaker 2: Don't get in trouble, don't rock the boat, don't say
- 20:07Speaker 2: anything controversial, don't pick fights, Like just laylan, do a
- 20:10Speaker 2: pretty good job. If you laylan, do a pretty good job,
- 20:12Speaker 2: you're gonna get in trouble, you're gonna keep your job.
- 20:15Speaker 2: And I was like, I'd rather roll the dice and
- 20:16Speaker 2: try to be the greatest ever and flame out then
- 20:20Speaker 2: just being yeah, pretty good. So that was the worst
- 20:23Speaker 2: advice I ever got, and I'm glad I didn't live
- 20:25Speaker 2: by it. But I think he was coming from a
- 20:27Speaker 2: good place when he told me that because he was
- 20:29Speaker 2: able to lay low on being radio for thirty years.
- 20:33Speaker 2: Best advice I ever got was I was thinking about
- 20:35Speaker 2: going on Dancing with the Stars. There were a couple
- 20:38Speaker 2: offers at the same time to me of two different shows.
- 20:41Speaker 2: One was a competition show where I would host it
- 20:44Speaker 2: on a cable network so not a network show, and
- 20:47Speaker 2: one was Dancing with the Stars on a network network,
- 20:52Speaker 2: which was ABC. But I wasn't hosting it. I was
- 20:54Speaker 2: just one of twelve or thirteen, and I'd never watched
- 20:59Speaker 2: Dancing with the Stars as far as like sitting down
- 21:00Speaker 2: to watch the show. I'd seen clips or I never
- 21:03Speaker 2: watched Dancing with the Stars. I didn't really know what
- 21:05Speaker 2: happened there except you dancing got a score. I never
- 21:08Speaker 2: danced in my life. It wasn't interesting to me as
- 21:10Speaker 2: far as watching it or following it because I didn't
- 21:12Speaker 2: care about dance. I'd never danced, and I was like,
- 21:14Speaker 2: I don't want to go on the show because it's
- 21:16Speaker 2: all like at the time, I thought, I saw losers
- 21:19Speaker 2: they go on the show that have like been famous
- 21:21Speaker 2: before and this is their last hurrah. So I called Charlemagne,
- 21:25Speaker 2: who goes by Charlemane, the god the breakfast club in
- 21:28Speaker 2: New York City, who's probably, professionally speaking, one of my
- 21:32Speaker 2: closest friends. Professionally like or closest people. We don't talk
- 21:37Speaker 2: as like Buddy is a whole lot. But if I'm
- 21:39Speaker 2: in New York or he's here, or we have quite
- 21:41Speaker 2: we hitch other ball. He goes to my wedding like
- 21:43Speaker 2: that's like my dude, I trust him with everything. When
- 21:45Speaker 2: I got in trouble, before I got fined the million bucks,
- 21:47Speaker 2: when everybody else was hitting me up, going dude, oh
- 21:50Speaker 2: my god, he just sent me a page full of
- 21:53Speaker 2: laughing emojis because he was like, dude's gonna be fine.
- 21:55Speaker 2: You're kidding me. You may have to pay a bunch
- 21:57Speaker 2: of money, or the company, well, they ain't fire it.
- 21:59Speaker 2: But he was like, he's he keeps it extremely real
- 22:01Speaker 2: with me, so it doesn't matter if he says something
- 22:02Speaker 2: good or bad, like I trust that that's his truth.
- 22:04Speaker 2: He's telling me his truth. And so I called him
- 22:06Speaker 2: and I said, hey, man, think about doing Dancing with
- 22:09Speaker 2: the Stars. Have this offer, but have this other offer.
- 22:12Speaker 2: I said, but I don't want to go and dance
- 22:13Speaker 2: with the stars if it's going to be like I'm
- 22:15Speaker 2: gonna be lame. He said, do you think the dancing
- 22:18Speaker 2: part's lamb? I said, well, I don't know how to
- 22:20Speaker 2: do it. He said, okay, let's remove that. He said,
- 22:23Speaker 2: so what's lamb about it? I said, I don't know.
- 22:25Speaker 2: If I go on there, like who's on that show? Arkle,
- 22:28Speaker 2: who's on that show? People you know? And he said, okay,
- 22:31Speaker 2: but if you look to see the people that were
- 22:32Speaker 2: on that show going the opposite direction, like Kim Kardashian
- 22:34Speaker 2: was on that show, Michael Strahan was on that show
- 22:36Speaker 2: when he was turning his career into media. Wendy Williams
- 22:40Speaker 2: was doing that show before she blew up. He said,
- 22:41Speaker 2: don't take and just look at what everybody else tells
- 22:44Speaker 2: you to look at. Look at also, and you know,
- 22:49Speaker 2: invest a little bit of time and seeing if there
- 22:51Speaker 2: are any people that are trying to do what you're
- 22:52Speaker 2: doing with it.
- 22:53Speaker 4: And he goes, and there are.
- 22:54Speaker 2: He said, I thought about that show forever, but I
- 22:56Speaker 2: can name like four or five people that use that
- 22:57Speaker 2: show on win in the upb direction. And I was like, dang.
- 23:00Speaker 4: He's like, yeah, it's a platform, go get it.
- 23:04Speaker 2: Do you ever dance?
- 23:05Speaker 1: No?
- 23:07Speaker 2: He danced.
- 23:07Speaker 1: No.
- 23:07Speaker 2: We don't get kicked off anyway. So I did it
- 23:10Speaker 2: obviously one But that was the best advice I ever
- 23:13Speaker 2: got as far as career advice. So probably given a
- 23:18Speaker 2: pretty good avice to I wish I could think of
- 23:19Speaker 2: some I think I might be in the hole with
- 23:21Speaker 2: him though. That's pretty good advice for me. And so
- 23:23Speaker 2: that was it. And the show that they offered me
- 23:25Speaker 2: failed after one season. Really yeah, I can tell you
- 23:28Speaker 2: what it was off.
- 23:28Speaker 5: The air, Okay, well, yeah, did you feel like that
- 23:30Speaker 5: propelled your the Dancing with the Stars career or like
- 23:33Speaker 5: got you more opportunities or just got your name out
- 23:36Speaker 5: there more your face your.
- 23:38Speaker 2: I feel like that since I won, it showed the
- 23:41Speaker 2: power of the platform we have. I feel like it
- 23:50Speaker 2: opened the doors to people going, oh, you won, you
- 23:56Speaker 2: must be a really good Like there was just a
- 23:58Speaker 2: respect with executives, not because they're dancing, but figuring out
- 24:04Speaker 2: how to win this show, right. And I don't think
- 24:08Speaker 2: it made me anymore whatever famous is, because I'm just
- 24:11Speaker 2: that's famous is not really a thing anymore. There are
- 24:14Speaker 2: just certain areas that you're just more known. Because fame
- 24:17Speaker 2: is so fractured, there are people that you may think
- 24:21Speaker 2: is famous because you follow on my TikTok, or you
- 24:23Speaker 2: watch their show on Car and Truck Network, or it's
- 24:27Speaker 2: like if you're passionate about something and somebody's really good
- 24:29Speaker 2: at and known for it, to you, they're famous. But
- 24:31Speaker 2: there are people my wife loves, I've never even heard
- 24:34Speaker 2: of them, and they're famous to her. So the fame
- 24:37Speaker 2: thing doesn't even exist. I don't go out anymore and
- 24:41Speaker 2: go I wonder if people are looking at me. Now
- 24:43Speaker 2: sometimes I'm quickly reminded that people are looking at me
- 24:46Speaker 2: when they're recording me and my wife having dinner.
- 24:48Speaker 4: That stuff's always weird.
- 24:49Speaker 2: Yeah, but it's not like fame where you're like, mm,
- 24:53Speaker 2: they know who's here.
- 24:54Speaker 4: It's not at all.
- 24:56Speaker 2: Even some of my friends that are pretty big country stars,
- 24:59Speaker 2: they're like, yeah, it's just weird because we can go
- 25:01Speaker 2: places and people that don't listen to country that they
- 25:02Speaker 2: don't give a crap, they don't know, they'll never know.
- 25:05Speaker 2: So no, I don't think it may. I just don't
- 25:06Speaker 2: think fame's a real thing anymore. I think there's notoriety
- 25:11Speaker 2: and then there's fame. I think I have some notoriety,
- 25:14Speaker 2: but the fame part of it, you got to hit
- 25:17Speaker 2: real hard to have fame, and I don't think I've
- 25:18Speaker 2: ever hit that. So I made a lot of money
- 25:22Speaker 2: off that show. Could you make ten grand the first check?
- 25:26Speaker 3: Week one?
- 25:26Speaker 2: You don't get paid and I may say some of
- 25:28Speaker 2: this wrong week two because they don't kick anybody off
- 25:32Speaker 2: week one. If you survive week two, you get ten grand.
- 25:36Speaker 2: Then it's like ten ten, ten, twenty twenty, twenty fifty.
- 25:40Speaker 2: It's something like that build up. But you just make
- 25:42Speaker 2: it to the final episode, you get full pay. There's
- 25:44Speaker 2: no like you one. You get money.
- 25:46Speaker 4: Everybody making the final episodes is getting like another fifty
- 25:48Speaker 4: grand or so.
- 25:49Speaker 5: Oh okay, So.
- 25:51Speaker 4: I made I make good money off of it, But
- 25:53Speaker 4: it was to me that was just it was.
- 25:55Speaker 2: The challenge of winding that thing when I was not
- 25:58Speaker 2: good at it, and it showed me it doesn't matter
- 26:00Speaker 2: what it is. I can just I can attack it,
- 26:02Speaker 2: learn as I go, pivot when I need to, and
- 26:06Speaker 2: be successful. So this isn't And Mike and I lived
- 26:09Speaker 2: together in a crappy apartment in las Man is wild times.
- 26:14Speaker 5: Yeah, i'd never seen an episode of that show either,
- 26:16Speaker 5: and then went and saw every episode You dance.
- 26:18Speaker 2: It was a while. I think back about that and
- 26:19Speaker 2: is wild times because it's NonStop work and do that show.
- 26:25Speaker 2: I would do the radio show towards some on the weekends,
- 26:28Speaker 2: and I was dancing twelve hours a day, and then
- 26:30Speaker 2: Mike was always on call because if I had a
- 26:33Speaker 2: hour and a half, we'd run to the radio station
- 26:36Speaker 2: and record something.
- 26:37Speaker 4: It's brutal, but it was really it's amazing, and.
- 26:39Speaker 5: Even when you weren't rehearsing, you were like writing down
- 26:41Speaker 5: the steps, trying to learn all the dances, trying to
- 26:43Speaker 5: just memorize.
- 26:44Speaker 2: It sucks so bad, Like I was really bad at
- 26:46Speaker 2: that show. And sometimes my feelings get hurt. People like, oh,
- 26:49Speaker 2: you suck, But then I remember I do, so I
- 26:51Speaker 2: did suck. People are like, man, you're terrible, like they're
- 26:53Speaker 2: insulting me that they are trying to insult me. There'll
- 26:56Speaker 2: be some of these Dancing with the Stars articles that
- 26:57Speaker 2: come up. They're like worst ever and they're like by bones,
- 27:01Speaker 2: and I'm like, you know what, you can suck. You
- 27:03Speaker 2: know what. They're right, they're right because I think that too.
- 27:05Speaker 2: I don't like when somebody else says it because it's.
- 27:07Speaker 3: Up every year.
- 27:07Speaker 5: They're like, oh, not another Bobby Bone. Situation.
- 27:09Speaker 2: Yes, why they changed the rules after I won the show?
- 27:14Speaker 2: They changed Well, if I was a diehard fan, I
- 27:17Speaker 2: get it. It'd be like somebody coming to the NFL
- 27:18Speaker 2: who wants to play quarterback but he has three arms
- 27:21Speaker 2: and he can throw from either Side're like, well, this
- 27:23Speaker 2: is odd and he's got an advantage and it's not
- 27:26Speaker 2: his faulty has this advantage was born. I just came
- 27:29Speaker 2: from a place where the platform is huge.
- 27:30Speaker 4: And are our people are loyal. I'm loyal to them,
- 27:32Speaker 4: They're loyal to me. It's amazing. Love it anyway.
- 27:34Speaker 2: That's enough?
- 27:35Speaker 3: Is that it?
- 27:35Speaker 5: That's it?
- 27:35Speaker 3: All right?
- 27:36Speaker 2: Thank you?
- 27:37Speaker 5: His name ever the tunnel Tunnel up.
- 27:43Speaker 2: A reminder of the twenty five whistles brought to you
- 27:44Speaker 2: by Draft King sports book. Download the Draft Kings app
- 27:47Speaker 2: used to code Bobby Sports to get in on the action.
- 27:50Speaker 2: So hey hates two own horn? Dude, dude. But when
- 27:54Speaker 2: I miss I'll let you know too. This isn't one
- 27:56Speaker 2: of those shows. It's like only celebrating the wins. I
- 27:58Speaker 2: will be upset about my law and you'll hear that
- 28:00Speaker 2: later on. But I didn't tell you guys to bet
- 28:03Speaker 2: that one. I told you to beut this one. So

- 28:30Speaker 2: So I didn't get to watch that live. I watched
- 28:32Speaker 2: clips or watch little pieces of it while I was
- 28:34Speaker 2: working with the opera in between. But thank you very much,

- 28:52Speaker 2: Now I screw that. I can't do it. I'm gonna
- 28:54Speaker 2: go Celtics money line, even though it's not gonna pay
- 28:56Speaker 2: that well, it pay fine, Celtics money line, and I'm
- 29:00Speaker 2: going with the over two fifteen point five.

- 29:07Speaker 4: on the train.
- 29:07Speaker 2: We're two two and We're hot Celtics money line over
- 29:11Speaker 2: two fifteen point five and then counter your smiles and

- 30:06Speaker 3: What's up, man, Bobby Bones. I am a fan, buddy.
- 30:11Speaker 2: There is no way let me say this because I'm
- 30:14Speaker 2: a massive fan of yours.
- 30:17Speaker 6: Intimate stuff about you. I'm a fan and I know
- 30:19Speaker 6: intimate stuff about.
- 30:20Speaker 2: Okay, listen, let's start with this, because here's what I
- 30:23Speaker 2: want to say about you, Bert, is that my wife
- 30:27Speaker 2: tells me that everything's not a bit, because I think
- 30:30Speaker 2: everything is a bit that I either do on this
- 30:32Speaker 2: show or on a stage. She goes, everything's not a
- 30:34Speaker 2: bit with you sharing such personal information about your life
- 30:37Speaker 2: in certain places.
- 30:38Speaker 4: Are you ever told hey, is ain't a bit? You
- 30:41Speaker 4: can't do all this all the time?
- 30:43Speaker 3: Yeah? Yeah.
- 30:43Speaker 6: My daughter had this said something absolutely hilarious to me.
- 30:49Speaker 6: I can't even reference what it's in regards to but
- 30:51Speaker 6: she said something absolutely hilarious to me. That is one
- 30:54Speaker 6: of the worst things you could say to another person.
- 30:55Speaker 6: And I put it in my last special razzle dazzle and.
- 30:58Speaker 3: She saw it.
- 30:59Speaker 6: She goes, yeah, you gotta take it out. I was like,
- 31:00Speaker 6: what she's like, that was a secret. These are some
- 31:03Speaker 6: things are secret, dad, And so I offer her ten
- 31:06Speaker 6: grand and she turned it away, and then I got
- 31:09Speaker 6: to one hundred grand I talk, maybe one hundred thousand
- 31:11Speaker 6: dollars for this bit.
- 31:12Speaker 3: She's like, Dad, when you die, I get all your money.
- 31:15Speaker 2: Wait was it already up and then you took it
- 31:17Speaker 2: or was it just done?
- 31:19Speaker 6: It was posted So the way Netflix works, you send
- 31:22Speaker 6: in your final watch McCall and then they got to
- 31:24Speaker 6: upload it to the server.
- 31:25Speaker 3: They had to take it off the server and re
- 31:27Speaker 3: edit the special.
- 31:29Speaker 2: For one hundred thousand dollars, she would, Man, that's okay,
- 31:32Speaker 2: I like it good.
- 31:33Speaker 4: I don't feel so.
- 31:34Speaker 6: All, but hey, everything is fair game to me to
- 31:36Speaker 6: a fault, to a fault, and I forget that. Not
- 31:39Speaker 6: everyone's like that, you know, so like like, uh, my wife,
- 31:44Speaker 6: I have I have pill for that poor woman's life.
- 31:46Speaker 6: I mean, I talked about her giving birth, I've talked
- 31:48Speaker 6: about her farting at intimate times of love. I've talked
- 31:52Speaker 6: about I've talked about everything in that woman has rolled
- 31:55Speaker 6: with it.
- 31:56Speaker 4: Is she funnier than you?
- 31:58Speaker 3: No?
- 31:59Speaker 4: Oh okay, Wyfe's funnier than I am.
- 32:01Speaker 2: And it's like it sucks because she doesn't even care
- 32:03Speaker 2: to be public.
- 32:04Speaker 4: She doesn't want to be public.
- 32:05Speaker 2: She she's better at what I get celebrated for so
- 32:08Speaker 2: when I go home, I'm not even the most talented
- 32:10Speaker 2: at what I do for a living.
- 32:11Speaker 3: I'll tell you something, Bobby.
- 32:12Speaker 6: I was at dinner one time, and you know, like
- 32:14Speaker 6: they always say that all the all the ladies, I
- 32:16Speaker 6: bet you're the funny one at home, and Leanne's like,
- 32:19Speaker 6: I am the funny one. I said to her, in
- 32:21Speaker 6: front of everyone, I said, do you have any idea
- 32:22Speaker 6: how insulting that is. My comedy has paid for our lifestyle,
- 32:27Speaker 6: the house that we're throwing, this dinner party, in your car,
- 32:30Speaker 6: our cell phones, her college. To think that you're the
- 32:34Speaker 6: funny one at home is a slap in the face
- 32:36Speaker 6: to what I do for a living.
- 32:38Speaker 2: Woman, But does she really feel that way?
- 32:40Speaker 4: Then she stops saying it.
- 32:42Speaker 6: No, no, no, she so Leanne's funny in her own
- 32:46Speaker 6: I'll tell you what. Here's the interesting part. Leanne and
- 32:49Speaker 6: Georgia are the two Jimmy crickets in our life. Like
- 32:54Speaker 6: they witness funny stuff and they'll point it out. I'm
- 32:57Speaker 6: not good at knowing what's funny, and neither is Isla
- 33:01Speaker 6: and I lived like a really untethered life, and George
- 33:05Speaker 6: and Idol will point it out like my closing bit
- 33:06Speaker 6: for Razzle Dazzle about the Escape Room. I was on
- 33:09Speaker 6: stage and I think in Jersey and Georgia just called
- 33:14Speaker 6: from college. When a college student calls, you answer no
- 33:16Speaker 6: matter what. I'm on stage. She's what are you doing?
- 33:18Speaker 6: I said, I'm on stage. She said, hey, are you
- 33:20Speaker 6: telling the the escape room bit? And I was like, no,
- 33:23Speaker 6: that's not I don't have it. It's not a bit
- 33:25Speaker 6: you should tell that. And I was like, really, she
- 33:27Speaker 6: I can't remember that. Papa than Nana into the wall
- 33:30Speaker 6: and I was like, oh, and the room laughs.
- 33:31Speaker 3: Right.
- 33:32Speaker 6: She walked me through this bit and I was not
- 33:35Speaker 6: telling it, and it became my closer.
- 33:37Speaker 2: Does she ever improve it? My wife will improve jokes
- 33:41Speaker 2: for me. I will go what about this? And she's
- 33:43Speaker 2: like what if you said this here? And I'm like,
- 33:45Speaker 2: I get so offended, but then it's always better. Does
- 33:47Speaker 2: your wife ever do that with you?
- 33:49Speaker 6: Yeah, there's a joke I have right now about my wife.
- 33:51Speaker 6: My wife's family is UH is real redneck and she
- 33:55Speaker 6: was like, there she has two cousins who are married
- 33:58Speaker 6: and UH and they was saying, they go they they can't,
- 34:02Speaker 6: but they ain't blo. That's how they defend it, and
- 34:06Speaker 6: it's it's I turned into a whole bit and it's
- 34:08Speaker 6: doing well. And then it didn't do well at the
- 34:10Speaker 6: store the other night. And Leanne I gets in the car.
- 34:12Speaker 6: She has great comic instincts and she goes, it's too mean.
- 34:15Speaker 6: You're being too mean, Like you need to like, you
- 34:18Speaker 6: need to soften it, like they're my family. You gotta
- 34:20Speaker 6: pretend like you like them, and it's just coming off mean.
- 34:23Speaker 6: She's really Leanne is really insightful in business, in instincts,
- 34:27Speaker 6: in like like I mean, she I did a series
- 34:31Speaker 6: called The Cabin on Netflix. She went through and watched
- 34:36Speaker 6: every edit and gave notes. I couldn't even watch the thing.
- 34:39Speaker 6: I get so embarrassed and so but Leanne did that.
- 34:42Speaker 6: She goes through everything with the fine tooth comb. She
- 34:44Speaker 6: edits all my specials. She like sits in the edit
- 34:47Speaker 6: bay and goes and she'll she's brutal. She'll be like,
- 34:51Speaker 6: get to the funny, Get to the funny. Why are
- 34:53Speaker 6: we thanking omaha? Get to the funny.
- 34:56Speaker 3: Just get to it, dude.
- 34:58Speaker 2: People because media so fractured, famous so fractured, what do
- 35:02Speaker 2: you mean his fame anymore? But do people recognize you
- 35:05Speaker 2: now as the guy on TikTok who has a podcast,
- 35:08Speaker 2: more than the guy that does stand up or more
- 35:10Speaker 2: than the guy that has TV shows. Like, do you
- 35:12Speaker 2: ever just get you're the guy I'll watch on TikTok?
- 35:15Speaker 3: Yeah, I get that.
- 35:15Speaker 6: I actually get that a lot. You're the kool Aid guy.
- 35:18Speaker 6: Oh I saw you on TikTok. You're the guy that. Yeah,
- 35:20Speaker 6: you're the naked guy on TikTok.
- 35:21Speaker 3: I get.
- 35:22Speaker 6: It's crazy, especially when you see grown men that do
- 35:24Speaker 6: it and you're like, are you on TikTok? Like I
- 35:28Speaker 6: have a TikTok, but I like, I have a TikTok
- 35:31Speaker 6: that I use, but I have a team that just
- 35:33Speaker 6: posts my videos to it, Like I don't. I'm not
- 35:35Speaker 6: on I'm on Instagram, Like I'm an old man. I'm
- 35:38Speaker 6: on Instagram and my daughters have burner accounts, and so
- 35:41Speaker 6: I have a burner account on TikTok and my daughter's
- 35:43Speaker 6: Burner account showed up in my feed and I gave
- 35:46Speaker 6: it to my assistant. I was like, look at it.
- 35:48Speaker 6: Tell me if there's something I.
- 35:49Speaker 3: Need to know.
- 35:52Speaker 4: I once out of somebody.
- 35:53Speaker 2: I was in a meeting and greet and they were like, hey,
- 35:55Speaker 2: I could add on clear glasses, and they said, hey,
- 35:58Speaker 2: is there any way you would go get your normal
- 35:59Speaker 2: glasses and put on And I saw I could take
- 36:01Speaker 2: a picture with you, and I was like, that's kind
- 36:02Speaker 2: of weird.
- 36:02Speaker 3: So I did it.
- 36:03Speaker 2: But I was thinking about you before this interview. Do
- 36:05Speaker 2: people ever go, hey, would you take your shirt offs?
- 36:07Speaker 2: So I get a picture with you with your shirt off?
- 36:11Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 36:11Speaker 6: Oh, last night were at the Lakers game and uh,
- 36:14Speaker 6: and these fans were we were in a box and
- 36:17Speaker 6: it was like and it was a bunch of very famous,
- 36:19Speaker 6: like the most famous comedians in the world, and these
- 36:22Speaker 6: fans were one of We're taking pictures and then they're
- 36:24Speaker 6: like looking at me and they're going, take your shirt off?
- 36:27Speaker 6: And I'm like, can't I just be standing next to
- 36:31Speaker 6: the Can I just be on route Mount Rushmore instead
- 36:34Speaker 6: of having like, like take your shirt off?
- 36:38Speaker 4: And how often do you do it?
- 36:40Speaker 3: Though?
- 36:40Speaker 2: Because you still I saw you hitting in a golf
- 36:42Speaker 2: ball at one of these events and you took a
- 36:44Speaker 2: shirt off hit the golf ball like you still like
- 36:46Speaker 2: I have to as well at times I have to
- 36:48Speaker 2: do it.
- 36:49Speaker 4: But are you starting to do it less and less?
- 36:51Speaker 3: No? I don't.
- 36:52Speaker 6: I definitely, there is a line, but like you know,
- 36:56Speaker 6: it's addictive. It's like you ever wake up.
- 36:58Speaker 3: In the morning, You're like, I'm not drinking tonight, and then.
- 37:01Speaker 6: After you work out and you get through your day,
- 37:04Speaker 6: and then at like four o'clock, you're like, I want
- 37:06Speaker 6: a drink because it's that first drink. That first drink
- 37:09Speaker 6: is the one that tickles you. That's what's taking your
- 37:11Speaker 6: shirts off. Like it's like it really tickles me, Like
- 37:14Speaker 6: it makes me like you rip it off, and there's
- 37:16Speaker 6: always a big pop whenever you rip it off, and
- 37:19Speaker 6: it it just whatever I'm about to do, it adds
- 37:22Speaker 6: to it. It makes it just a little bit better,
- 37:25Speaker 6: like a little sprinkle, a little sprinkle of fairy dust.
- 37:29Speaker 2: Let's talk about the movie The Machine.
- 37:31Speaker 4: A couple of things that I want to say.
- 37:33Speaker 2: First is it's a question about comedy movies because there
- 37:36Speaker 2: aren't as many. I mean, back at ten years ago,
- 37:39Speaker 2: twenty years ago, we lived for them old school. I mean,
- 37:42Speaker 2: we can just list them all. It was one after
- 37:43Speaker 2: the other, and it's what I look forward to. Why
- 37:46Speaker 2: is there a void of these movies like yours The Machine?
- 37:50Speaker 4: But where are the comedy movies?
- 37:53Speaker 3: I think it has to do with price point.
- 37:55Speaker 6: In all honesty, is that what happened is there was
- 37:58Speaker 6: a heyday of comedy movies because they can make it
- 38:00Speaker 6: at a great price point. And so like these early
- 38:02Speaker 6: events fall on Owen Wilson, Will Ferrell, those movies were
- 38:07Speaker 6: all made for like for like. I was just kind
- 38:09Speaker 6: of a conversation about this last night, for like thirty million,
- 38:12Speaker 6: I think fifty million, and the early ones, the beginning ones,
- 38:16Speaker 6: the ones that we're like, are are we the ones
- 38:18Speaker 6: we loved? And you can always make money back people
- 38:21Speaker 6: are going to theaters, and then as streamers started to
- 38:22Speaker 6: show up, you couldn't make money back on the price
- 38:25Speaker 6: point that these guys needed to make their money right,
- 38:28Speaker 6: And so I think it was just a thing of
- 38:30Speaker 6: price point. So they made the machine for I think
- 38:33Speaker 6: twenty million, because they can. I think what it is
- 38:36Speaker 6: is you need. I think Hollywood got scared off. Wokee
- 38:38Speaker 6: culture scared everyone off a little bit because I mean
- 38:41Speaker 6: some of what they would say in these old comedies
- 38:43Speaker 6: is absolutely atrocious.
- 38:45Speaker 3: Now you watch it, you're like, whoa paging doctor? Who?
- 38:49Speaker 3: And so?
- 38:51Speaker 6: But but what I think is happening now is there's
- 38:54Speaker 6: a bunch of comics that have gotten platforms on their
- 38:57Speaker 6: own through podcasting and stand up And I think if
- 39:01Speaker 6: I'm hoping, if the Machine does well, it'll be proof
- 39:04Speaker 6: in the pudding that you can make a comedy with
- 39:07Speaker 6: Tim Dillon, Burt Christ or Mark Norman, Jay Big, j Okerson,
- 39:12Speaker 6: all of these great comics, Tom Segura, Joey Diaz, you
- 39:17Speaker 6: can make it for thirty million dollars and make money back.
- 39:19Speaker 6: That's why I'm being serious when I say this. If
- 39:22Speaker 6: you're listening, go out to the movies this Saturday, this
- 39:25Speaker 6: Sunday tonight, go out to the movies and support comedy,
- 39:29Speaker 6: live comedy in supporting this movie, because if this pops, Dude,
- 39:33Speaker 6: that opens the floodgates for everyone, because every studio will
- 39:35Speaker 6: throw twenty million out of comic and let them make
- 39:39Speaker 6: their thing.
- 39:40Speaker 2: The Machine opens May twenty fifth, and it's only in theaters.
- 39:45Speaker 2: And so, but this was a bit that you used
- 39:48Speaker 2: to do in your because I've seen a couple different
- 39:52Speaker 2: versions of it. Did the bit did the story improve?
- 39:56Speaker 2: Like did you learn how to tell it better? Or
- 39:58Speaker 2: did the first time you go out? Did you just
- 40:00Speaker 2: tell it as not even a joke? Like how did
- 40:02Speaker 2: this start? And can you let the guys here on
- 40:04Speaker 2: the show who don't know the story kind of know
- 40:05Speaker 2: what it's about.
- 40:06Speaker 6: Yeah, when I was twenty two years old, I got
- 40:08Speaker 6: Bob with the Russian mafia and we robbed the train
- 40:10Speaker 6: and we robbed my class.
- 40:12Speaker 3: And it sounds ridiculous.
- 40:14Speaker 6: The first time I ever told it was on Loveline
- 40:17Speaker 6: and it was a kid from my class calling in
- 40:20Speaker 6: to doctor Drewer saying, hey, why don't you tell him
- 40:22Speaker 6: about the time he robbed your class in Russia? And
- 40:24Speaker 6: I just that time, I just told it, just facts,
- 40:28Speaker 6: like yeah, and then as I told it, I tell
- 40:31Speaker 6: it on other radio shows. It's like piece by piece
- 40:34Speaker 6: and it would get better as you improve it. Just
- 40:37Speaker 6: little things that either you remembered or you were like, oh,
- 40:41Speaker 6: I don't need to share all of that. And then
- 40:43Speaker 6: I told her on Rogan and I never told her
- 40:45Speaker 6: on stage. I told her on Rogan and Rogan's like,
- 40:47Speaker 6: you need to tell this on stage. I was like, man,
- 40:49Speaker 6: I'm not gonna It's not a stage story. And he
- 40:51Speaker 6: on his podcast is the early beginnings of Rogan. He
- 40:55Speaker 6: told all his fans you are to go out to
- 40:57Speaker 6: his shows, you are to chant the machine until he
- 40:59Speaker 6: tells from this day forward, this man is only to
- 41:02Speaker 6: be known as the Machine Chant the Machine until he
- 41:05Speaker 6: tells it. That weekend in Columbus, the audience would not
- 41:08Speaker 6: stop and they were like, come on, Bert, you well
- 41:11Speaker 6: fake laugh. You gotta do it, Bert, you gotta do it.
- 41:13Speaker 6: And so that first weekend I told it and it sucked.
- 41:18Speaker 6: It was twenty minutes long, and it sucked for a
- 41:21Speaker 6: solid year. Bobby like, it sucked so bad that at
- 41:28Speaker 6: one point I was like, this isn't gonna work. And
- 41:30Speaker 6: then one night I found the fix. The fix was
- 41:33Speaker 6: the tag at the end of the joke. I don't
- 41:35Speaker 6: know's it's dirty, so I'll save it. But I used
- 41:39Speaker 6: to think the end of the joke was tonight you
- 41:40Speaker 6: party with us, but it wasn't. For whatever reason, the
- 41:43Speaker 6: audience dictates how a story goes. And once I found
- 41:46Speaker 6: the end, I saw I changed my comedy entirely, Like
- 41:51Speaker 6: everything clicked in an instant, and the end was if
- 41:55Speaker 6: that be this is Russia, right, that's the end. Because
- 41:58Speaker 6: then the audience started with a plowed and go it's over,
- 42:01Speaker 6: You're done, And man, it changed the way I did
- 42:05Speaker 6: stand up. It changed so much. I was trying to
- 42:08Speaker 6: be like a Dame Cook rip off like I was. Look,
- 42:11Speaker 6: all of us were. Dame was so impressive, and I
- 42:16Speaker 6: wanted to be young. I wanted to be cool. I
- 42:18Speaker 6: want to talk about drugs and edgy stuff. And then
- 42:21Speaker 6: all of a sudden I told that story, and I realized,
- 42:23Speaker 6: a good story is a good story. I can tell
- 42:24Speaker 6: a story about my daughter, I can tell a story
- 42:26Speaker 6: about my dad. I just tell a story about my wife,
- 42:28Speaker 6: about just the simplest stuff.
- 42:30Speaker 3: And it changed.
- 42:31Speaker 6: I mean it changed literally the way I did everything.
- 42:34Speaker 6: If you look at like the Machine, that the first
- 42:37Speaker 6: it's it's on Netflix right now. That's that you can
- 42:40Speaker 6: see hints of old Bert when you go to Secret Time.
- 42:43Speaker 6: That is after I learned how to tell the machine,
- 42:45Speaker 6: and that is that is that is who I am today.
- 42:49Speaker 2: So run the plot of the movie here, so because
- 42:51Speaker 2: and is it exactly like the story. I mean, you
- 42:54Speaker 2: got some fun and you got got a guy from
- 42:55Speaker 2: Star Wars in the movie too, so you got the
- 42:57Speaker 2: yeah to do that. Do the plot here, just so
- 43:01Speaker 2: we know what we're getting into here.
- 43:03Speaker 6: Okay, I'll tell you this is the interesting part is
- 43:06Speaker 6: I went to sell it to the legendary I pitched
- 43:09Speaker 6: some two other movies and he bought those movies. He's like,
- 43:11Speaker 6: all right, which one you want to make? And I
- 43:13Speaker 6: was like, well, if you're telling me I can make
- 43:14Speaker 6: a movie, i'd want to make the Machine. And he's like, yeah,
- 43:16Speaker 6: why didn't you pitch that. I was like, I don't know,
- 43:18Speaker 6: so I'm afraid it would be good. And I get
- 43:19Speaker 6: kidnapped by the Russian mafia and he was.
- 43:21Speaker 3: Like, sold, that's our movie. That's our movie.
- 43:25Speaker 6: So the movie is a reimagining of that bit, my
- 43:29Speaker 6: viral bit that's like eighty million views that this movie
- 43:33Speaker 6: is a reimagining of that.
- 43:34Speaker 3: So it's the story is me and my.
- 43:37Speaker 6: Father played by Mark Hamill aka Luke Skywalker from Star Wars.
- 43:41Speaker 6: Me and my father get kidnapped by the Russian mafia
- 43:43Speaker 6: and we get taken back to Russia by the mafia
- 43:46Speaker 6: to atone for the crimes of my past. For me,
- 43:50Speaker 6: So the story of me robbing the train. I did
- 43:52Speaker 6: something really wrong on that and now I got to
- 43:54Speaker 6: go back to Russia and pay for that. And it
- 43:57Speaker 6: really is what I love about this movie and what
- 43:59Speaker 6: I loved about the It's an old school action comedy,
- 44:04Speaker 6: you know, like uh like Midnight Run, Like Midnight Run
- 44:08Speaker 6: is just a good story that happens to be funny.
- 44:11Speaker 6: You uh, A Romancing the Stone that's a good story
- 44:15Speaker 6: that happens to be funny, like uh, the Last Boy Scout.
- 44:19Speaker 6: Like there's great action comedies that like I love that genre.
- 44:23Speaker 6: Straight comedies are man that is a tough that's that
- 44:27Speaker 6: you got a nod to those guys like leave It
- 44:29Speaker 6: to Waiki, that guy that does the thing. But like,
- 44:35Speaker 6: so it's an action comedy. It's me and Mark Camill
- 44:37Speaker 6: when we get kidnapped by Russia mo Offian and it's
- 44:39Speaker 6: just a wild ride.
- 44:40Speaker 4: So then let me ask this be one of my
- 44:42Speaker 4: final questions.
- 44:42Speaker 2: I would be afraid that somebody in Russia would actually
- 44:46Speaker 2: if you are offensive to Russian mobsters, which why wouldn't
- 44:49Speaker 2: you be It's hilarious that someone would like hack your
- 44:52Speaker 2: crap just to show you you don't mess with Russia.
- 44:57Speaker 3: Let's not put that in the universe.
- 44:58Speaker 2: Bobby, I'm I'm freaking out. I'll be like, I mean,
- 45:03Speaker 2: there's I start talking about North Korea. Once I stopped
- 45:05Speaker 2: mid sentence and I was like, you know what, I'm good.
- 45:07Speaker 2: I almost I just don't want to deal with the
- 45:09Speaker 2: hackers of North Korea trying to get into my life.
- 45:12Speaker 6: So I'll tell you what, I live pretty clean, I do.
- 45:15Speaker 6: I mean I don't have I don't have many secrets.
- 45:17Speaker 6: I mean there's I'm sure I do have a few.
- 45:19Speaker 6: I'm sure once they hack your main frame, you're like, oh,
- 45:21Speaker 6: I get a lot of secrets.
- 45:22Speaker 3: I get a lot of secrets.
- 45:23Speaker 6: But if if, if Putin takes it upon himself and
- 45:27Speaker 6: he goes, this is my mission, I'm gonna ruin this kid.
- 45:29Speaker 3: This kid, I'm fifty. What am I talking about? I
- 45:31Speaker 3: guess to him, I'm a kid.
- 45:32Speaker 6: Then I think this movie will do very well at
- 45:34Speaker 6: the boss.
- 45:36Speaker 2: Okay, I think it's very funny. I good luck, good
- 45:40Speaker 2: luck to you. Would you ever go to Russia and
- 45:43Speaker 2: promote this?
- 45:44Speaker 6: So I tried. I tried, and my wife put the
- 45:47Speaker 6: kebash on it. I was like, yo, let me take
- 45:49Speaker 6: a screener to Putin. You know, I'm not I'm not
- 45:54Speaker 6: bigging the news. And so I didn't realize they were kidnapped,
- 45:57Speaker 6: they were arresting journalists. My wife's I was like, yeah,
- 46:00Speaker 6: I'm just gotta rush before it's bad, and she's like, no,
- 46:04Speaker 6: they're they're locking up journalists and I was like, but
- 46:07Speaker 6: I'm not a journalist, I'm just a comedian.
- 46:09Speaker 3: And they're like, they're trading for an arms dealer.
- 46:11Speaker 2: In a heartbeat, yeah, they're poison you quick that. You
- 46:15Speaker 2: know though, while you get bumped all of a sudden,
- 46:17Speaker 2: you're poisoned. That's what they do over there.
- 46:18Speaker 4: Or you jump out of me, right.
- 46:19Speaker 6: I know I watched that. I was on Netflix. Did
- 46:22Speaker 6: you watch that on Netflix?
- 46:23Speaker 2: I've watched on the news.
- 46:25Speaker 4: I don't know what do you watch on Netflix?
- 46:26Speaker 6: There's a whole documentary about about the people getting knocked
- 46:29Speaker 6: off by by Bobby.
- 46:31Speaker 3: Why are we even talking about this? We're put in
- 46:33Speaker 3: the universe, Bobby.
- 46:34Speaker 5: I'm gonna telling you how I feel.
- 46:35Speaker 2: That's what I would be scared about.
- 46:37Speaker 6: Okay, let inside Bobby, keep that inside you the guy
- 46:41Speaker 6: in an orgy going should we work condoms?
- 46:46Speaker 3: You know what? You're right?
- 46:47Speaker 4: And I am that, Bobby?
- 46:48Speaker 3: Can I ask you something?
- 46:49Speaker 2: I don't know?
- 46:50Speaker 3: How come I don't I don't do your show more often.
- 46:52Speaker 3: I don't.
- 46:53Speaker 2: You never offered up to come on the show, so
- 46:55Speaker 2: I don't know that.
- 46:56Speaker 6: I'm a fan. I'm a fan. I'm a fan and
- 46:58Speaker 6: I always wonder why I never do this.
- 47:00Speaker 4: You've never said, hey, can I come on the show?
- 47:02Speaker 4: Not one time? So how do I know that you
- 47:04Speaker 4: want to come on the show If I never know?
- 47:05Speaker 2: How come you never had me on the podcast because
- 47:07Speaker 2: I've never said, hey, can I be on the podcast?
- 47:09Speaker 3: Can you? Will you be on my podcast?
- 47:11Speaker 2: No, this is not real life on a we're on
- 47:13Speaker 2: the air, and so we do fake stuff like you
- 47:15Speaker 2: invited me to your podcast and then I hit you
- 47:16Speaker 2: up afterward and you're like now here talking about pr
- 47:19Speaker 2: person and they go, oh, he's busy.
- 47:20Speaker 5: Exactly what happens.
- 47:22Speaker 6: I'm gonna put it in you. I'm gonna make this happen.
- 47:23Speaker 6: I'm gonna make this happen. I want you to be
- 47:25Speaker 6: a cast bear.
- 47:26Speaker 4: Okay, look, this is fun. It's a fun bit, right,
- 47:29Speaker 4: fun bit, we're having fun.
- 47:31Speaker 3: Mart's funny.
- 47:35Speaker 2: He did take a shirt.
- 47:36Speaker 3: All right, there we go, look at these Look at
- 47:38Speaker 3: these delts, Bobby, I'm jack dang, dude, you are jacked. Yeah, yeah,
- 47:42Speaker 3: I'm gonna testosterone? Are you said?
- 47:44Speaker 2: I know I'm asking a real question because I did
- 47:45Speaker 2: not expect you to have By the way, he got
- 47:47Speaker 2: the muscles on his neck at a level that I've
- 47:49Speaker 2: never seen them.
- 47:50Speaker 3: Are you lifting I benched to eighty five this morning?
- 47:54Speaker 2: One time or multi time?
- 47:56Speaker 3: Yeah? One time?
- 47:58Speaker 4: I mean I could do two twenty five. Like, So,
- 48:00Speaker 4: I don't know, Bobby.
- 48:03Speaker 6: Let's do a little boys weekend. You come out to
- 48:05Speaker 6: LA will work out? I have you on my cooking show.
- 48:06Speaker 3: Will me up with?
- 48:10Speaker 4: This is never gonna happen?
- 48:11Speaker 2: I would love to Yes, The answer is yes.
- 48:14Speaker 3: It's a bit, right, A bit, Bobby, It's not a bit.
- 48:17Speaker 2: Okay, listen, everybody go watch the machine. I don't know
- 48:21Speaker 2: to say, but yeah, I'll be over. Heck, I'll be
- 48:23Speaker 2: over today. It's a bit so there he is, Hey, Bert,
- 48:28Speaker 2: I go watch the machine?
- 48:32Speaker 3: All right?
- 48:32Speaker 2: Burt Krasher super funny. And I did text him, did
- 48:36Speaker 2: you guys leave that in the interview where he gives
- 48:38Speaker 2: the first part of the number, let me take that out?
- 48:40Speaker 4: Oh you did?
- 48:42Speaker 2: Got it? So at the end of the interview he's like, hey,
- 48:46Speaker 2: text me, I'll prove to you. Did you leave the
- 48:48Speaker 2: part where he's like, come do my podcast? And so
- 48:53Speaker 2: I was like, okay, fine. So he gives me his
- 48:55Speaker 2: number and then he texted me, and that text I
- 48:58Speaker 2: was like Hey, ude, it's funny. He's like, yeah, great,
- 49:01Speaker 2: come on podcast, and I was like, okay, well, you
- 49:04Speaker 2: finish all your press and if you hit me back
- 49:05Speaker 2: in a few weeks and you still want it, we'll
- 49:07Speaker 2: definitely talk about it. I just wanted to feel pressured
- 49:09Speaker 2: because he said it on that that I had to
- 49:12Speaker 2: go on this podcast, which is really good, by the way,
- 49:14Speaker 2: really popular. So there's that bark crashure. Thank you for
- 49:16Speaker 2: coming on the show. That's pretty cool. The chase for

- 50:07Speaker 2: Okay, Patrick Mahomes was talking about quarterbacks getting paid into him.
- 50:14Speaker 2: He says legacy and winning rings and not money are
- 50:19Speaker 2: the most important thing. And I can absolutely agree with
- 50:23Speaker 2: That's how I feel about this, and I say that
- 50:27Speaker 2: even too would like this show and creating something. There
- 50:32Speaker 2: are times where I take the money that I have
- 50:35Speaker 2: been paid in my contract and when my other people
- 50:37Speaker 2: can't get paid. I'm just making a comparison to what
- 50:39Speaker 2: NFL players can do and will do, and maybe we'll
- 50:41Speaker 2: see Patrick Mahomes do this. I pay them form my salary.
- 50:45Speaker 2: I just go, Okay, you don't want to give them,
- 50:46Speaker 2: I don't tell them. There are people over the years
- 50:48Speaker 2: that I've just been like, they need a raise, just
- 50:51Speaker 2: take it from my salary. It's like taking lower money
- 50:55Speaker 2: so other people on the team can make money. And
- 50:57Speaker 2: if my homes starts to do that, I go like,
- 51:01Speaker 2: that's for for real, real, I do believe my fund.
- 51:03Speaker 4: Patrick Mahomes is pretty authentic guy. But he's also making.
- 51:08Speaker 2: Well four hundred fifty million bucks in that deal, So
- 51:11Speaker 2: it's easy to say that when you make a four
- 51:12Speaker 2: hundred fifty million bucks. But also I don't know what
- 51:14Speaker 2: he's done, so he may who knows, But I do
- 51:17Speaker 2: believe him. And it's hard to believe somebody that was
- 51:19Speaker 2: making half a million bucks and they go up, money's
- 51:20Speaker 2: not important, But it's like easy to say when you
- 51:22Speaker 2: make half a million bucks.
- 51:24Speaker 4: No, half a billion bucks. Yeah he does to make more,
- 51:28Speaker 4: yeah for sure, like yearly. Yes, So I believe him.
- 51:33Speaker 2: People were giving them a hard time, and I will
- 51:35Speaker 2: say that it's hard to believe somebody when they say
- 51:37Speaker 2: money's not the most important thing, that they're making half
- 51:39Speaker 2: a billion dollars. But Patrick Mahomes seems like a pretty authentic,
- 51:44Speaker 2: genuine dude who wants to win, and I see him
- 51:47Speaker 2: as a guy. They would go, all right, restructure this
- 51:51Speaker 2: part of the deal I'll take a little. Tom Brady
- 51:53Speaker 2: did that, Yeah, he sure, because he wanted titles. Tom
- 51:56Speaker 2: Brady's a ring guy. Ye at least later on. And
- 51:59Speaker 2: you know what, easy to be a ring guy after
- 52:01Speaker 2: you have all your money and your wife's got a
- 52:02Speaker 2: billion dollars too. Okay, what do you want me to do?
- 52:06Speaker 2: He did say, take less of I take less of
- 52:08Speaker 2: this contract so I can pay other people. So I
- 52:11Speaker 2: think you'll see my homes do that later if he's
- 52:13Speaker 2: not already talking about doing it, especially situationally.
- 52:19Speaker 4: Like if it's like for a specific player.
- 52:21Speaker 2: Like Kelsey, I don't think he's gonna go, Hey, guys,
- 52:24Speaker 2: here's the thing. I just woke up this morning. Fill
- 52:25Speaker 2: in generous, take ten mili out, do whatever you want
- 52:27Speaker 2: with it. That probably gonna happen. But it feels like
- 52:30Speaker 2: specifically to get somebody that he wants or keeps somebody
- 52:32Speaker 2: that he wants. I could definitely see him doing that.
- 52:34Speaker 2: Way you think about the new fair catch ule, I
- 52:37Speaker 2: get it.
- 52:37Speaker 5: I'm not surprised by it. And then I understand why
- 52:40Speaker 5: players are mad it's gonna take jobs away, and that
- 52:41Speaker 5: kind of sucks. Like the NFL is going towards that route.
- 52:44Speaker 5: Where taking the concussions out, which I understand. I don't
- 52:47Speaker 5: like it because I like watching the kickoff. I like
- 52:49Speaker 5: watching the kickoff return.
- 52:51Speaker 2: But they got to say, face, let me read you
- 52:52Speaker 2: the article and then I'll give you my feelings.
- 52:55Speaker 4: Which is the accurate feeling to have.
- 52:58Speaker 2: Of course, of course, Tuesday, NFL owners approved their proposal
- 53:02Speaker 2: that will allow teams that fair catch kickoffs and safety
- 53:06Speaker 2: kicks behind the twenty five yard line to spot the
- 53:08Speaker 2: ball at the twenty five yard line. The rule will
- 53:11Speaker 2: go into effect for one season on a trial basis.
- 53:16Speaker 2: For example, if you fair catch it on the nine,
- 53:24Speaker 2: you don't have to stay on the nine. You go
- 53:26Speaker 2: to the twenty five. So everybody knows exactly what's going
- 53:29Speaker 2: on here. League officials said the kickoff plays generate the
- 53:33Speaker 2: highest rates of concussions.
- 53:34Speaker 4: They go through all the stats. Players are upset.
- 53:37Speaker 2: This will take the play out of the game and
- 53:38Speaker 2: ultimately lead to some player losing their job as core
- 53:40Speaker 2: special teamers.
- 53:43Speaker 4: Do away with the kickoff completely.
- 53:45Speaker 2: There's no need how many times does something actually happen
- 53:50Speaker 2: on the kickoff versus how many times are the people
- 53:52Speaker 2: getting injured? And what about that time that could just
- 53:55Speaker 2: be another offensive play. I'd rather see an offensive play
- 53:58Speaker 2: than a kickoff return.
- 54:01Speaker 5: You but I love it.
- 54:03Speaker 2: Let's go, let's go skip Bayless.
- 54:07Speaker 5: Those that small amount of times you do see something
- 54:09Speaker 5: makes it so exciting.
- 54:13Speaker 3: Fun of me.
- 54:13Speaker 2: If they didn't wear helmets, that would be so fun.
- 54:15Speaker 2: There's a lot of things that would look spectacular. And
- 54:18Speaker 2: when they could kill receivers across the middle, you know,
- 54:20Speaker 2: or when they could rock quarterbacks, yeah, that was fun. Yes,
- 54:25Speaker 2: it's fun to see, but it sucks whenever somebody gets hurt.
- 54:28Speaker 4: It's valuable.
- 54:30Speaker 2: And when everyone's like, we can't believe quarterbacks they can't
- 54:32Speaker 2: even be touched, I'm like, I get it.
- 54:33Speaker 4: That's annoying. However, the more annoying thing.
- 54:35Speaker 2: Is that if you have a franchise quarterback and he's
- 54:37Speaker 2: out for three or four games and you'll lose three
- 54:38Speaker 2: or four games, and then the ratings are down, and
- 54:40Speaker 2: then they're like, well, that's not football. Well you never
- 54:43Speaker 2: played real football either, idiot, not you, Kevin, anybody somebody
- 54:48Speaker 2: who never played it down is like, oh, like real
- 54:50Speaker 2: those should be playing real football.
- 54:52Speaker 4: Where they just get why don't you play real football?
- 54:55Speaker 3: Fat boy?
- 54:56Speaker 4: You never played it?
- 54:58Speaker 2: You can tell it so I say, no kickoffs at all.
- 55:01Speaker 2: You just started the twenty five give me another offense.
- 55:02Speaker 5: To play, No, because it even said ninety nine point
- 55:08Speaker 5: three percent of kickoffs did not have one concussion of
- 55:12Speaker 5: the entire year, so point seven.
- 55:15Speaker 2: Yeah, okay, so out of every two hundred kick offs,
- 55:17Speaker 2: you got one player with a concussion that's probably effect
- 55:20Speaker 2: on the rest of their life.
- 55:21Speaker 4: Two hundred kickoffs.
- 55:23Speaker 5: Yeah, he's making a lot of money doing it too.
- 55:25Speaker 2: Nope, not kickoff returners. You're talking about right league meimbah?
- 55:27Speaker 5: Yeah, five hundred grand two or two fifty. I think
- 55:29Speaker 5: it is what it is.
- 55:30Speaker 2: Okay, cool, and then let's built that and a half
- 55:31Speaker 2: because of fees, taxes, agent fees.
- 55:34Speaker 4: Yes, it's a lovely life to play in the NFL.
- 55:36Speaker 2: Be awesome. Whish I could do that which had the
- 55:37Speaker 2: athletic kickoffs are stupid. I think they're exciting and I
- 55:41Speaker 2: want football to be around, and they're gonna have to
- 55:42Speaker 2: do things to make sure football stays around for a
- 55:44Speaker 2: long time.
- 55:45Speaker 5: What about like the was it you have no XFL.
- 55:47Speaker 2: I look at everything long term. You know, I'm a
- 55:49Speaker 2: long term investment guy. You're gonna keep doing this stuff
- 55:52Speaker 2: that it's kind of fun occasionally, but also it's pretty dangerous.
- 55:58Speaker 2: Then eventually they're gonna have to cut it in where
- 56:00Speaker 2: they're gonna have cut the game. You have to start
- 56:02Speaker 2: trimming these corners.
- 56:04Speaker 5: That's a big corner.
- 56:05Speaker 2: The kickoff urn.
- 56:05Speaker 4: Nobody cared, most of them going like they're matern them.
- 56:08Speaker 5: But when they do, it's so fun.
- 56:09Speaker 2: Is it? Felt like most of them kick and onside
- 56:11Speaker 2: kick I don't give you that bull crab.
- 56:13Speaker 4: Those never work.
- 56:14Speaker 5: Remember how many Devin Hester in the Super Bowl Open?
- 56:16Speaker 2: Yeah, remember the five thousand people you can't name that
- 56:20Speaker 2: returning to kick off to the twenty one or to
- 56:23Speaker 2: the eighteen Zach you can't name.
- 56:26Speaker 5: But you're talking to a guy whose name is kickoff Kevin.
- 56:28Speaker 2: Though we have changed his name.
- 56:29Speaker 5: Yeah, my great point, Thank you, dang, what is it?
- 56:32Speaker 5: Is it a fair catch?
- 56:35Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 56:35Speaker 4: We can be kickoff jack off Kevin.
- 56:38Speaker 2: No, no, no, no, I like, uh listen, it's kickofs are fun,
- 56:46Speaker 2: but at the risk of having eventually different people in
- 56:53Speaker 2: government going, oh that's grand stand the NFL concussions because
- 56:57Speaker 2: eventually it's gonna happen again. And look at this rate.
- 57:00Speaker 2: Just cut that cut that almost meaningless stuff to save
- 57:03Speaker 2: the stuff that really matters. And kickoffs are boring to
- 57:06Speaker 2: me anyway.
- 57:06Speaker 5: You just want to see one hundred and eighty or
- 57:08Speaker 5: something in every game.
- 57:09Speaker 4: Let's make the field here we go, let me, let
- 57:14Speaker 4: me put in some new rules.
- 57:16Speaker 2: I get it.
- 57:17Speaker 4: The league mus think there's something to it.
- 57:18Speaker 2: They're gonna try for a year, and if it's so stupid,
- 57:19Speaker 2: they'll they'll turn it back and people can get crushed.
- 57:22Speaker 4: What about punts?
- 57:24Speaker 5: Those are crazy, but they're fine.
- 57:29Speaker 2: Yeah, And I guess the different it's different with what
- 57:34Speaker 2: the people can do on a punt versus a kickoff,
- 57:36Speaker 2: because a kickoff you're kind of running down nobody in
- 57:39Speaker 2: front of you. You run as fast as you can, as
- 57:40Speaker 2: hard as you can. We're a punt. You got different situations.
- 57:43Speaker 2: You got linemen, you got you know, you have the
- 57:47Speaker 2: gunners obviously on the sides who're trying to go, but
- 57:48Speaker 2: they even have people trying to stop them from the
- 57:50Speaker 2: gay push them out of balance. So punts are different
- 57:53Speaker 2: in that it's not just run colyde a little strategy
- 57:58Speaker 2: to a punt.
- 57:58Speaker 5: Yeah, and now there's the r where you can't just
- 58:00Speaker 5: lay a guy out trying to return.
- 58:02Speaker 4: I wish it was so fun.
- 58:06Speaker 2: But those rules too were met with the same feeling
- 58:08Speaker 2: that you have right now about kickoffs at one point, but.
- 58:12Speaker 5: You don't even have you won't even have a return anymore.
- 58:15Speaker 2: But how many returns are there anyway? I feel like
- 58:17Speaker 2: kickoffs there is waste of time anyway because most of
- 58:19Speaker 2: them aren' even returned anymore period that I don't just
- 58:21Speaker 2: checking back at the end zone and I just wasted
- 58:24Speaker 2: I don't know two minutes.
- 58:25Speaker 4: Now we're going back to commercial.
- 58:27Speaker 5: That part I hate. Yeah, you're the commercial part.
- 58:30Speaker 2: Thank you. Let me do this Lakers segment that we did,
- 58:33Speaker 2: and then we'll do final thoughts. So I'm gonna throw
- 58:35Speaker 2: this to a segment we recorded on Tuesday after the
- 58:37Speaker 2: Lakers lost to the Nuggets Monday night, and it's stupid.
- 58:39Speaker 2: All this is stupid, and so enjoy a stupid segment.
- 58:42Speaker 3: Here you go.
- 58:43Speaker 2: Okay, so recorded this on Tuesday, so by the time
- 58:45Speaker 2: you hear this, it'll be Friday most likely. But I
- 58:47Speaker 2: don't want to lose my vigor because I was watching
- 58:50Speaker 2: the Lakers last night and they lost by the way
- 58:52Speaker 2: the first half, and I knew not to think they
- 58:55Speaker 2: were gonna win, but I did feel pretty good about
- 58:57Speaker 2: it in the first half, was like, okay, they were
- 59:00Speaker 2: at ten in the second quarter, and so I turned
- 59:03Speaker 2: it off for a little bit, just was a good man,
- 59:06Speaker 2: good ish husband had some work to do too. Turned
- 59:08Speaker 2: it back on the fourth quarter and they were either
- 59:12Speaker 2: up one or down one in the early fourth quarter
- 59:14Speaker 2: something like that. So I'm like, oh, I dang, like,
- 59:17Speaker 2: let's go. And so I'm watching the game and I'm like,
- 59:19Speaker 2: you know what. I looked at the line and it
- 59:22Speaker 2: was Lakers plus one and a half in game, in game,
- 59:25Speaker 2: Lakers plus one and a half, and they're playing in LA,
- 59:28Speaker 2: and Lebron was just taking over the game because he
- 59:30Speaker 2: felt like he had to.
- 59:31Speaker 4: And I'm like, let's go. I'm in, I'm in. I
- 59:36Speaker 4: I bet a lot, I bet a lot. So I
- 59:38Speaker 4: took the Lakers plus one and a half. They lost
- 59:40Speaker 4: my two.
- 59:40Speaker 3: Yep.
- 59:41Speaker 2: So I took the Lakers plus one in a freaking half,
- 59:44Speaker 2: thinking there's no way one they're gonna lose, and two
- 59:47Speaker 2: the game was so close that they may lose by one.
- 59:50Speaker 2: But I have to stop betting NBA games. I'm so
- 59:55Speaker 2: bad at it. We don't know what's happening with the game.
- 59:57Speaker 4: Boston.
- 59:57Speaker 2: By the time this airs would be in the future
- 59:59Speaker 2: and we'll know what's happen happened, either the Celtics.
- 1:00:01Speaker 4: Are done or they're still in it.
- 1:00:04Speaker 2: But I have to stop betting, not on NBA games, period,
- 1:00:08Speaker 2: but betting a whole lot of money because I have
- 1:00:12Speaker 2: a feeling an endgame feeling on NBA games terrible.
- 1:00:16Speaker 5: It's yeah, it's the hardest one.
- 1:00:17Speaker 2: I was yelling. I was so into the game. My
- 1:00:19Speaker 2: wife's like, since when are you a Lakers fan? And
- 1:00:22Speaker 2: then I had I made up a stroya. I just
- 1:00:23Speaker 2: want to see Lebron war another ring, which wasn't true.
- 1:00:27Speaker 2: I would have liked to see Lebron wan another ring.
- 1:00:29Speaker 2: So I bet.
- 1:00:31Speaker 4: I bet that.
- 1:00:33Speaker 2: Lakers plus one and a half. They lost by two,
- 1:00:35Speaker 2: and then I also bet the over at two twenty
- 1:00:37Speaker 2: seven point five. And in that over, it was at
- 1:00:41Speaker 2: minus three hundred when I bet it, because it was
- 1:00:43Speaker 2: late in the game and I was like, there's no
- 1:00:44Speaker 2: way they're not going to hit this.
- 1:00:46Speaker 4: They freaking didn't hit that either.
- 1:00:50Speaker 2: It ended up a two twenty four four. Would you
- 1:00:52Speaker 2: take you got it at two twenty seven point five.
- 1:00:54Speaker 2: And so not only that the Lakers had a chance
- 1:00:57Speaker 2: because Schroeder missed a three from the corner, wide open, ye,
- 1:01:03Speaker 2: wide open, and then Patch Murray missed one from the top,
- 1:01:09Speaker 2: pretty open. And that final play when Lebron goes in,
- 1:01:13Speaker 2: they're running a well. First of all, they had the
- 1:01:15Speaker 2: inbounds that they didn't get to work, but then they
- 1:01:19Speaker 2: went down to play defense and stopped Denver and got
- 1:01:21Speaker 2: the ball back for one final possession, and I was like,
- 1:01:24Speaker 2: this is it, let's go, and Lebron kept it like
- 1:01:28Speaker 2: he should have. I'm surprised they didn't call a foul,
- 1:01:32Speaker 2: not because it was a foul, but because one, it's
- 1:01:34Speaker 2: Lebron two to extend the series or at least put
- 1:01:38Speaker 2: it in overtime, and you could have listen, it was
- 1:01:42Speaker 2: not a foul. I'm gonna say again, it wasn't a foul,
- 1:01:43Speaker 2: but you definitely if you nitpicked it could have called
- 1:01:45Speaker 2: that a foul. You can call anything close a foul
- 1:01:47Speaker 2: because they were body It's like holding in the NFL.
- 1:01:50Speaker 2: Some holds are way more obvious than others. But who
- 1:01:56Speaker 2: was this stripped the ball out? I'm trying to so, yeah,
- 1:01:59Speaker 2: so Jamal Lebron's coming through Mury hand right on the ball.
- 1:02:04Speaker 2: But at the same time, I think Gordon jumped up
- 1:02:07Speaker 2: and ended up blocking the shot. It was not a foul.
- 1:02:09Speaker 2: I'm not saying it as a foul, but there were
- 1:02:11Speaker 2: parts of him that hit Lebron in a non foul.
- 1:02:15Speaker 2: But that the reps, if they really wanted to, could
- 1:02:17Speaker 2: have called a foul. It wouldn't have been that controversy.
- 1:02:20Speaker 2: It would have been slightly like oh Lebron. But then
- 1:02:23Speaker 2: so I was surprised the NBA didn't.
- 1:02:24Speaker 5: Do that same. I was a little surprised if he
- 1:02:27Speaker 5: took it too. Also, I thought they're gonna take it three,
- 1:02:29Speaker 5: just because I didn't think they wanted to go to overtime.
- 1:02:31Speaker 5: For multiple reasons. The Lakers they look gassed.
- 1:02:33Speaker 4: I mean they just missed two threes.
- 1:02:35Speaker 2: Yeah, that three from the corner from when you we
- 1:02:39Speaker 2: were watching it, because shorders at the bottom of the screen.
- 1:02:42Speaker 2: It was from that right corner. He could he couldn't
- 1:02:45Speaker 2: have been more open. Yeah, I'd have put money on
- 1:02:47Speaker 2: me to hit that two.
- 1:02:49Speaker 4: Man, I wouldn't.
- 1:02:50Speaker 5: That wouldn't get a little too far.
- 1:02:52Speaker 2: But yeah, the Lakers are done, They're over and now
- 1:02:55Speaker 2: and again you're gonna hit his Friday, So who knows
- 1:02:57Speaker 2: what's gonna happen between now and then. But Lebron's going
- 1:03:00Speaker 2: I may retire. I don't know what I'm gonna do.
- 1:03:02Speaker 2: He's not retiring. He already told us what he's gonna do.
- 1:03:04Speaker 2: He's waiting for a son to play. His son's gonna
- 1:03:07Speaker 2: play one year. Next year at USC get drafted over
- 1:03:10Speaker 2: what he should get drafted, because they know where he goes.
- 1:03:13Speaker 4: Lebron's gonna go.
- 1:03:14Speaker 2: Lebron's already played his cards.
- 1:03:17Speaker 4: He's not retiring. He's not retiring. I like Lebron. The
- 1:03:21Speaker 4: reason I like Lebron two things.
- 1:03:23Speaker 2: One he met the hype, the impossible hype he met
- 1:03:28Speaker 2: and exceeded it. And two he's just not been in trouble.
- 1:03:34Speaker 2: Any of these athletes that are sixteen, seventeen, eighteen, nineteen
- 1:03:37Speaker 2: years old, that have all the access and all the
- 1:03:38Speaker 2: money usually along the way to make a couple of
- 1:03:40Speaker 2: real immature decisions that get them in trouble in some
- 1:03:44Speaker 2: way or the other. I don't care what sport it's
- 1:03:47Speaker 2: hard to be, or an actor that's fifteen sixteen, it
- 1:03:50Speaker 2: doesn't matter really. If you're a kid and you're giving
- 1:03:52Speaker 2: all the access and you have all this path Lebron's
- 1:03:56Speaker 2: been pretty good that we know of.
- 1:03:59Speaker 4: If he's been an alter boy, yeah, and I respect that.
- 1:04:01Speaker 5: Even Kobe and MJ had their troubles.
- 1:04:03Speaker 4: I respect that. So I like Lebron.
- 1:04:05Speaker 2: I'd like to say on one another ring didn't happen
- 1:04:07Speaker 2: this year, but wanted to come on because I'm so
- 1:04:09Speaker 2: fired up at the stupid bet because I just shouldn't
- 1:04:13Speaker 2: do it. I'm just I want to hold myself accountable.
- 1:04:16Speaker 2: If I had to put.
- 1:04:16Speaker 4: Like fifty bucks, I'd have been like, Okay, it was fun.
- 1:04:21Speaker 4: We to get it run. But I didn't.
- 1:04:22Speaker 3: I did.
- 1:04:22Speaker 4: I didn't.
- 1:04:22Speaker 2: I did.
- 1:04:23Speaker 4: I did a lie.
- 1:04:24Speaker 5: Can you say how much?
- 1:04:25Speaker 3: Or no?
- 1:04:26Speaker 5: That too much?
- 1:04:26Speaker 3: It was? It was.
- 1:04:31Speaker 4: Four figures wow.
- 1:04:34Speaker 2: Because I was like, this is easy money. There's no
- 1:04:39Speaker 2: such thing as easy money, not in the NBA. And
- 1:04:42Speaker 2: now I'm done with this segment. Now I just want
- 1:04:44Speaker 2: I'm angry, and I think by the time that Friday
- 1:04:46Speaker 2: comes around and we're doing the show, I'm not gonna
- 1:04:48Speaker 2: be as angry, not gonna be as irritated.
- 1:04:50Speaker 4: I'm not angry at anybody except myself. I just shouldn't
- 1:04:53Speaker 4: have done it. I can't do that.
- 1:04:54Speaker 2: NBA game, college football I'm STI gonna do that because
- 1:04:56Speaker 2: I still fel pretty good about that.
- 1:04:57Speaker 5: Now, did your wife have any idea when you do
- 1:04:59Speaker 5: these ton of bets?
- 1:05:00Speaker 2: She doesn't care? Okay, so no, sometimes I'll tell her,
- 1:05:04Speaker 2: or sometimes I can't help it. I'm like, I just
- 1:05:06Speaker 2: lost a lot of money.
- 1:05:07Speaker 4: It just like comes barreling out of me.
- 1:05:09Speaker 2: And she's like, well, then don't bet if it's gonna
- 1:05:11Speaker 2: bother you, and I'm like, well, to me, it's also
- 1:05:15Speaker 2: a competition that I can out smart the app. But no,
- 1:05:22Speaker 2: I mean she doesn't care because I'm as responsible as
- 1:05:24Speaker 2: could possibly be, and I watch out for any sort
- 1:05:26Speaker 2: of addiction because I was a big car player poker gambling.
- 1:05:30Speaker 2: Really yeah, I loved it and I was good at it,
- 1:05:33Speaker 2: and so I'm always on the lookout and I wasn't there.
- 1:05:35Speaker 2: But even then I stopped paying because I was like,
- 1:05:37Speaker 2: there's a place, there's an a healthy place that you
- 1:05:39Speaker 2: can get. And that's what we talk about it on
- 1:05:41Speaker 2: the show, like there's some numbers to call if you
- 1:05:43Speaker 2: have trouble with it. But it's betting for me is entertainment.
- 1:05:46Speaker 2: I just entertain myself lil too hard last night, a
- 1:05:48Speaker 2: little too much entertainment like drinking too much.
- 1:05:51Speaker 5: Yeah, exactly, I've done that plenty of times.
- 1:05:53Speaker 2: Yeah, I just entertained myself a little too much, irritated
- 1:05:56Speaker 2: that I couldn't beat the system. Yeah, all right, thank you,
- 1:05:59Speaker 2: thank you, thank you. That's all. Let's cut the clip
- 1:06:01Speaker 2: and go back to normal schedule programming. Okay, thank you
- 1:06:06Speaker 2: guys for being here, MICUs or anything I have not done.
- 1:06:08Speaker 3: That is good.
- 1:06:09Speaker 2: All right, thank you. On it's gonna be Tuesday before
- 1:06:14Speaker 2: we get the new one up because Monday's a holiday.
- 1:06:17Speaker 2: I don't know best guests ever in person, for sure.
- 1:06:21Speaker 2: We've had Dan Patrick obviously, in Rich Eisen and Colin
- 1:06:25Speaker 2: Cowherd as a guest, but they were all zoom. Kevin
- 1:06:27Speaker 2: Talarybody's coming up on Tuesday.
- 1:06:29Speaker 5: Two times Super Bowl champion, Logan Ryan NFL corner safety.
- 1:06:33Speaker 4: Kind of a hybrid all the American and college and markers.
- 1:06:36Speaker 5: Yeah, it's this is awesome.
- 1:06:38Speaker 4: He did almost an hour.
- 1:06:39Speaker 2: We talked about everything from what you know, speed of
- 1:06:41Speaker 2: the game from high school to college. We talked about
- 1:06:45Speaker 2: what it was like to be recruited as a four star,
- 1:06:48Speaker 2: what it was like when he was a three star,
- 1:06:49Speaker 2: and then somebody watched one game deemed him to a
- 1:06:52Speaker 2: four star and then how's life changed because somebody just
- 1:06:54Speaker 2: happened to see him and give him that fourth star,
- 1:06:58Speaker 2: and how everything changed after that, and then how he
- 1:07:00Speaker 2: gets drafted of the NFL.
- 1:07:01Speaker 4: We talked about Tom Brady.
- 1:07:04Speaker 2: Oh, I forget that.
- 1:07:04Speaker 4: There's so much New England in that for you.
- 1:07:06Speaker 5: Oh it was beautiful.
- 1:07:07Speaker 4: You had a personal boner too, not just a football one.
- 1:07:10Speaker 5: Oh, I sure did.
- 1:07:11Speaker 2: Dang, I didn't think about that.
- 1:07:12Speaker 5: The Belichick Yeah had Oh that was my favorite.
- 1:07:15Speaker 4: That's how we keep getting these Boston people on here.
- 1:07:17Speaker 2: I'm just like, man, Kevin's lining it up, like how
- 1:07:19Speaker 2: do we get the Boston mayor today? So yeah, that'll
- 1:07:23Speaker 2: be coming up on Tuesday's episode, which we will do
- 1:07:25Speaker 2: one next week for sure. Final thoughts.
- 1:07:27Speaker 4: Let's go around the room here and let's go over
- 1:07:29Speaker 4: to kick off Kevin first.
- 1:07:30Speaker 5: Kevin, Yeah, I'm gonna ask you a question to see
- 1:07:33Speaker 5: my fandom here, because you're a busy guy and a
- 1:07:34Speaker 5: big fan. You're always doing stuff at night, even during
- 1:07:36Speaker 5: the week, and you know tonight we can talk about
- 1:07:39Speaker 5: the game. And I am going to a concert. Concerts
- 1:07:42Speaker 5: start at the same time as a game. My a
- 1:07:44Speaker 5: bad fan for that, I will be watching on my phone.
- 1:07:47Speaker 2: I'm gonna say no, because you can have a phone
- 1:07:50Speaker 2: and it's three one, yes, okay, and you don't really
- 1:07:54Speaker 2: want to because if they lose them, I'm not watching.
- 1:07:57Speaker 3: No.
- 1:07:57Speaker 2: I don't want to watch after the loss anyway. So
- 1:08:01Speaker 2: I'm gonna say no, you're not a bad fan if
- 1:08:03Speaker 2: it's three to three. If it's game seven, you be
- 1:08:05Speaker 2: a terrible fanged Okay, if it's game six, i'd say,
- 1:08:11Speaker 2: pretty bad fan. Who cares? It's you down three to one.
- 1:08:15Speaker 2: You're probably not gonna come back and win the whole thing. Anyway,
- 1:08:18Speaker 2: Go have fun at the show. At least you can
- 1:08:20Speaker 2: do that and have fun. It's'd be a miserable losing
- 1:08:22Speaker 2: a freaking series.
- 1:08:22Speaker 3: You know.
- 1:08:23Speaker 5: Thank you?
- 1:08:23Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 1:08:24Speaker 4: Cool, That's all I would say.
- 1:08:25Speaker 2: Read our video guy, camera guy, extraordinary.
- 1:08:28Speaker 4: What do you have? H Do you think you're the
- 1:08:31Speaker 4: balls that have your face on it?
- 1:08:32Speaker 2: The golf balls? When you lose those and people find them,
- 1:08:36Speaker 2: do you think that they know that those are your balls?
- 1:08:38Speaker 4: Or do you think it's just like a super fan.
- 1:08:40Speaker 2: Just balls, unmistakable. I don't I don't, I don't know,
- 1:08:46Speaker 2: I don't care. Yeah, that's I didn't. I'd also assume
- 1:08:49Speaker 2: that everybody who sees that ball is going to know
- 1:08:51Speaker 2: that's me, because you kind of have to know what
- 1:08:54Speaker 2: I look like.
- 1:08:54Speaker 4: I could talked about fame earlier.
- 1:08:55Speaker 2: I don't think everybody who picks up a golf ball's
- 1:08:58Speaker 2: gonna be like, well, look at that. There is arkan
- 1:09:00Speaker 2: on Bobby Bones. I don't think that's a thing. So no,
- 1:09:03Speaker 2: I don't really worry about that. Maybe No, I don't
- 1:09:08Speaker 2: worry about that. Okay, Okay, is that it read?
- 1:09:10Speaker 3: That's it?
- 1:09:10Speaker 2: Thank you. I'm going to Utah because we're gonna go
- 1:09:13Speaker 2: watch the softball super Regionals. My brother in law is
- 1:09:16Speaker 2: the assistant head coach at the University of Utah, so
- 1:09:19Speaker 2: I've been over there for three years. But the programs
- 1:09:21Speaker 2: can play turned around first and they've ever hosted a
- 1:09:23Speaker 2: super regional, So we're gonna go route them on hopefully.
- 1:09:26Speaker 2: I think they're playing San Diego State, and I hope
- 1:09:31Speaker 2: they win go to the College World Series. It'd be
- 1:09:33Speaker 2: super cool. Yeah. As mom Patty Gasso has won two
- 1:09:37Speaker 2: national championships in a row at Oklahoma, going for a third.
- 1:09:40Speaker 2: They are unstoppable and so they'll play in a Super
- 1:09:44Speaker 2: Regional two that they'll probably win that easily and go
- 1:09:47Speaker 2: to the College World Series. I'm so into college softball.
- 1:09:50Speaker 2: Who knew?
- 1:09:51Speaker 5: What's you've been to softball and college baseball World Series?
- 1:09:55Speaker 5: Is there similarities differences?
- 1:09:58Speaker 2: The truth is the college soft All World Series is
- 1:10:00Speaker 2: much more fun, really more action. The bases are shorter,
- 1:10:05Speaker 2: they hit the ball more. They it's just more action.
- 1:10:09Speaker 2: You know, I love baseball, baseball slow, So the college
- 1:10:16Speaker 2: softball game there's just more going on. It's harder to
- 1:10:19Speaker 2: get somebody out again. The base paths are shorter, the mound,
- 1:10:23Speaker 2: the rubber, i should say, is shorter to the plate
- 1:10:26Speaker 2: and call it. Call it softball. It's just better. If
- 1:10:29Speaker 2: you're saying generic, straight up, what do you want to watch?
- 1:10:32Speaker 2: I'm gonna watch a baseball game all day long. But
- 1:10:33Speaker 2: if it's the college World Series and the college softball
- 1:10:35Speaker 2: World Series, like, there's a difference to in the vibes
- 1:10:38Speaker 2: of the games because of how the athletes. So it's
- 1:10:42Speaker 2: weird to watch a college softball game and they're down
- 1:10:44Speaker 2: three to one, but they have their.
- 1:10:44Speaker 4: Hats on the back and they're like, you can't everybody
- 1:10:47Speaker 4: dance out.
- 1:10:47Speaker 2: You can't everybody dance out and they're just full breaking
- 1:10:50Speaker 2: it down, and I'm like, dang, Like that's that's fun.
- 1:10:53Speaker 2: There's more fun that's had it in a college softball game.
- 1:10:56Speaker 2: You're allowed to smile, you're allowed like women rock dudes
- 1:10:59Speaker 2: are douche which you know they've got the die black on.
- 1:11:01Speaker 2: They gotta be serious. That's what makes it more fun
- 1:11:05Speaker 2: because of the environment there. The environment's like that in
- 1:11:07Speaker 2: the stands too a little bit. It's almost like the
- 1:11:08Speaker 2: Savannah bananas. But college softball it's that kind of thing,
- 1:11:11Speaker 2: except that's not exactly happening on the field. It's awesome,
- 1:11:15Speaker 2: I mean, but the College Baseball World Series is cool too.
- 1:11:18Speaker 2: Arkansas was playing in the SEC Tournament. They won walk
- 1:11:20Speaker 2: off home run last night against Texas A and M
- 1:11:21Speaker 2: second round. So SE tournament's weird though, because you go
- 1:11:26Speaker 2: way far, you've played a lot of freaking games, and
- 1:11:29Speaker 2: you're kind of tired going into hosting a regional college
- 1:11:32Speaker 2: baseball and then nobody ever wants to lose.
- 1:11:35Speaker 4: I'm telling you there, I'm telling you the absolute truth.
- 1:11:37Speaker 2: There are times where you don't want to lose, but
- 1:11:40Speaker 2: you ain't gonna try that hard to win because you
- 1:11:43Speaker 2: don't want to exhaust your best arms, knowing that that
- 1:11:46Speaker 2: SC tournament doesn't really matter that much, so.
- 1:11:49Speaker 4: I because I'll try to win. But we started a
- 1:11:51Speaker 4: picture that had like a four E R in that
- 1:11:52Speaker 4: game we didn't start the ace.
- 1:11:55Speaker 2: But also we came off a pretty you know, terrible
- 1:11:57Speaker 2: series against Vanderbilt. But as you can say of both, Okay,
- 1:12:01Speaker 2: I just have family in college softball and just my
- 1:12:05Speaker 2: heart and soul in college baseball. That's it.
- 1:12:08Speaker 5: I like it.
