  Speaker 2: But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to each
• 1:28
  Speaker 2: one for the prophet of all. For to one is
• 1:31
  Speaker 2: given the word of wisdom through the spirit, to another,
• 1:35
  Speaker 2: the word of knowledge through the same spirit to another,
• 1:39
  Speaker 2: Faith by the same spirit to another, gifts of healings
• 1:43
  Speaker 2: by the same spirit to another, the working of miracles
• 1:47
  Speaker 2: to another, prophecy to another, discerning of spirits to another,
• 1:53
  Speaker 2: different kinds of tongues to another, the interpretation of tongues
• 1:58
  Speaker 2: but one and the same spirit works all these things,
• 2:03
  Speaker 2: distributing to each one individually as he wills again. First Corinthians,
• 2:11
  Speaker 2: Chapter twelve, verses seven through eleven. We are continuing our
• 2:18
  Speaker 2: study of the nine gifts of the Holy Spirit. We

  Speaker 2: have discussed each one, and we have detailed several in
• 2:29
  Speaker 2: our previous segments. We now have come to one of
• 2:35
  Speaker 2: those gifts that today has been highly questioned by modern
• 2:41
  Speaker 2: psychology and medicine. This is the gift of the discerning
• 2:48
  Speaker 2: of spirits. Now, discerning means to be able to distinguish
• 2:55
  Speaker 2: between a particular type of person or event, and this
• 3:05
  Speaker 2: would include being able to determine or distinguish what type
• 3:12
  Speaker 2: of spiritual influence are we facing now. It is important
• 3:19
  Speaker 2: to notice that in this definition there is a small
• 3:25
  Speaker 2: s written in scripture for the word spirits. It is plural,
• 3:33
  Speaker 2: but there are small esses. This simply means that we're
• 3:39
  Speaker 2: not referring to the Holy Spirit of God. There's only
• 3:46
  Speaker 2: three forms of spirits existing. These three kinds are classified
• 3:54
  Speaker 2: as either God's Holy Angels, our own human spirit, or
• 4:02
  Speaker 2: demonic spirits. What happens in this particular gift of the
• 4:08
  Speaker 2: Holy Spirit, you will receive supernatural discernment. It will be
• 4:15
  Speaker 2: insight in knowledge involving these three kinds of spirits. Now,
• 4:22
  Speaker 2: many of the times this gift will be used to
• 4:26
  Speaker 2: fully expose what is really going on and operating behind
• 4:32
  Speaker 2: the scenes with someone. Here is how this gift will
• 4:37
  Speaker 2: come into play with each one of these types of spirits.
• 4:44
  Speaker 2: Let's look first at demonic spirits. With demonic spirits still
• 4:52
  Speaker 2: being allowed to roam in the air and interact with
• 4:56
  Speaker 2: us to some degree in this life, we really need
• 5:01
  Speaker 2: this gift in full operation today just to handle this
• 5:07
  Speaker 2: one type of evil spirit. As you know, many times
• 5:13
  Speaker 2: demons can literally enter into a person's body if they
• 5:20
  Speaker 2: have the appropriate legal rights to be able to do so.
• 5:25
  Speaker 2: But once they are in someone's body, they will then
• 5:29
  Speaker 2: try and hide and not show themselves. They know that
• 5:35
  Speaker 2: if they get caught and exposed on the inside of
• 5:38
  Speaker 2: that person's body, they risk that person either finding Jesus
• 5:44
  Speaker 2: if they are not saved yet, or if it is
• 5:48
  Speaker 2: a Christian. This person will then seek out deliverance from
• 5:53
  Speaker 2: another believer. Since some demons are very good at hiding
• 5:59
  Speaker 2: on the inside of us once they enter in, God
• 6:04
  Speaker 2: needs to activate this gift through some of his own
• 6:08
  Speaker 2: believers so they can detect when a demon is on
• 6:13
  Speaker 2: the inside of someone and expose its presence. Once the
• 6:18
  Speaker 2: demon has been exposed, then you can set the person
• 6:22
  Speaker 2: free for deliverance. But the first thing to be able
• 6:27
  Speaker 2: to do is to discern and detect that the demons
• 6:32
  Speaker 2: are already inside that person in the first place. There
• 6:39
  Speaker 2: are several ways that this type of discernment can work
• 6:44
  Speaker 2: in this realm. First, the people who have this gift
• 6:49
  Speaker 2: in operation from the Holy Spirit will sometimes be able
• 6:54
  Speaker 2: to actually see the demons manifested through a person's eyes.

  Speaker 2: Sometimes the demons just cannot help themselves, and they sometimes

  Speaker 2: will rise up and show themselves through a person's eyes.

  Speaker 2: They will literally be looking directly at you through this
• 7:16
  Speaker 2: person's eyes. When you see this kind of a manifestation happen,
• 7:21
  Speaker 2: what you will see is pure hate and pure evil
• 7:25
  Speaker 2: looking at you. You'll be able to tell that this
• 7:29
  Speaker 2: is not the person they are residing in. This kind
• 7:34
  Speaker 2: of look can also be caught on camera, and sometimes
• 7:39
  Speaker 2: demons sometimes show themselves when that person is getting their
• 7:45
  Speaker 2: picture taken. Again, you do need this gift of discerning
• 7:51
  Speaker 2: of spirits from the Holy Spirit to be able to
• 7:54
  Speaker 2: see this when it happens, but it is very easily
• 8:00
  Speaker 2: seen by the people who do have this gift in
• 8:03
  Speaker 2: full operation from the Holy Spirit. Another way that the
• 8:08
  Speaker 2: Holy Spirit will help you to desern and sense demons
• 8:12
  Speaker 2: in someone is through either a sense of smell or
• 8:16
  Speaker 2: a sense of feeling. Some people will get a real
• 8:20
  Speaker 2: sick feeling in their stomach, like they want to throw
• 8:24
  Speaker 2: up or vomit when they either see or get around
• 8:28
  Speaker 2: someone who has a demon on the inside of them.
• 8:32
  Speaker 2: I have been told that there are people who have
• 8:38
  Speaker 2: special giftings on the inside that they can tell by
• 8:43
  Speaker 2: the Holy Spirit. This is always one of the means
• 8:47
  Speaker 2: that they know when they are sensing a demon on
• 8:51
  Speaker 2: the inside of someone else. Other people will be able
• 8:56
  Speaker 2: to literally smell their presence. Their smell is extremely noxious
• 9:02
  Speaker 2: and toxic. The people who have this kind of gifting
• 9:06
  Speaker 2: say it is the worst smell they have ever experienced.
• 9:11
  Speaker 2: What the Holy Spirit is doing with this kind of
• 9:14
  Speaker 2: gift is really pulling back the curtains in the spiritual
• 9:19
  Speaker 2: realm so that he allows you and I to either see, feel,
• 9:26
  Speaker 2: or smell the demons in the person that they are
• 9:31
  Speaker 2: residing in. Then, once the demons have been exposed as
• 9:36
  Speaker 2: being on the inside of that person, then you can
• 9:40
  Speaker 2: actually move in to set that person up to be
• 9:45
  Speaker 2: delivered and set free, and they will be open to it.
• 9:52
  Speaker 2: Another way you can pick up a demon being on
• 9:55
  Speaker 2: the inside of someone is just through a strong inner
• 9:59
  Speaker 2: knowing or a strong sensing from the Holy Spirit. You

  Speaker 2: may not be able to see them in the person's
• 10:07
  Speaker 2: eyes when they do come up and manifest, or feel
• 10:11
  Speaker 2: them or smell them, but you can get a strong
• 10:14
  Speaker 2: inner knowing or a strong sensing from the Holy Spirit
• 10:19
  Speaker 2: that this person does have demons on the inside of them.
• 10:26
  Speaker 2: Now there's also God's angels. These are not evil spirits,
• 10:35
  Speaker 2: they are good spirits. The Bible tells us that God's
• 10:39
  Speaker 2: angels are also spirit beings that are sent to be
• 10:44
  Speaker 2: ministering spirits to us, and throughout history, God's angels have
• 10:50
  Speaker 2: appeared to people many times. The Bible is full of
• 10:55
  Speaker 2: these kinds of stories, from the Virgin Married to the
• 10:59
  Speaker 2: Book of Daniel, to the apostle John in the Book
• 11:03
  Speaker 2: of Revelation, just to name a few. However, the Bible
• 11:07
  Speaker 2: also warns us that Satan and his demons can appear
• 11:12
  Speaker 2: to us as angels of life. As a result, you
• 11:16
  Speaker 2: will need proper discernment from the Holy Spirit. If an
• 11:21
  Speaker 2: angel were ever to appear to you, many false beliefs
• 11:27
  Speaker 2: that are available and functioning today have been able to
• 11:34
  Speaker 2: experience demons that deceive them into believing they were angels
• 11:41
  Speaker 2: of life. These are examples where good angels have been
• 11:49
  Speaker 2: able to bring about something that will change a life,
• 11:56
  Speaker 2: that it will bring glory to the Lord Jesus Christ.

  Speaker 2: If an angel were all of a sudden to appear
• 12:06
  Speaker 2: to you, the first thing you will need to do
• 12:11
  Speaker 2: is properly tested. First John tells us exactly how to
• 12:18
  Speaker 2: do this. Here is the verse, beloved, do not believe
• 12:23
  Speaker 2: every spirit, but test the spirits whether they are of God,
• 12:29
  Speaker 2: because many false prophets have gone out into the world.
• 12:33
  Speaker 2: By this you know the spirit of God. Every spirit
• 12:38
  Speaker 2: that confessed that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh
• 12:43
  Speaker 2: is of God. And every spirit that does not confess
• 12:48
  Speaker 2: that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is not
• 12:52
  Speaker 2: of God. And this is the spirit of the Antichrist,
• 12:57
  Speaker 2: which you have heard was coming and is now already
• 13:02
  Speaker 2: in the world. First John four, Versus one through four.
• 13:08
  Speaker 2: What this means is that you directly asked the angel
• 13:13
  Speaker 2: to identify who his Lord and Master is. If he
• 13:19
  Speaker 2: says that it's Jesus Christ, then you ask him to
• 13:23
  Speaker 2: confess that Jesus Christ has come to the earth in
• 13:29
  Speaker 2: the flesh. If the angel cannot make this direct confession
• 13:33
  Speaker 2: to you that Jesus Christ has already come to our
• 13:36
  Speaker 2: earth in the flesh, then you are dealing with a
• 13:40
  Speaker 2: real life demonic spirit masquerading as an angel of life.
• 13:46
  Speaker 2: At this point, you should command the demon to leave
• 13:50
  Speaker 2: you in the name of Jesus Christ. In addition to
• 13:55
  Speaker 2: the test that we just spoke of, you could also
• 13:58
  Speaker 2: receive a strong discerning of spirits direct from the Holy Spirit.
• 14:03
  Speaker 2: You will immediately sense that something is not right with
• 14:08
  Speaker 2: this angel, and you will then pick up a strong
• 14:13
  Speaker 2: inner knowing that this is not an angel from God.
• 14:18
  Speaker 2: If it is an angel from God, you should feel
• 14:21
  Speaker 2: a sense of peace and comfort coming in from the
• 14:25
  Speaker 2: Holy Spirit as he bears witness that this is one
• 14:31
  Speaker 2: of God's angels. Lastly, we are to discern our own
• 14:37
  Speaker 2: human spirit. In addition to angels and demonic spirits, the
• 14:42
  Speaker 2: third kind of spirit that this gift will refer to
• 14:46
  Speaker 2: is just our own human spirit. For instance, someone could
• 14:52
  Speaker 2: have a bad spirit of pride that's in them. It
• 14:56
  Speaker 2: will not be demonic, and it will not give this
• 14:59
  Speaker 2: person person this kind of bad experience. It will just
• 15:05
  Speaker 2: be his own natural spirit he perhaps has not actually
• 15:12
  Speaker 2: matured in the way of following the Lord. As we
• 15:17
  Speaker 2: are totally capable of having bad kinds of spirits build
• 15:23
  Speaker 2: up in our system without the help of any kind
• 15:28
  Speaker 2: of demonic spirit. We can feed the wrong material into
• 15:34
  Speaker 2: our human spirit and that will produce bad results, but
• 15:40
  Speaker 2: they are not necessarily demonic.
• 15:44

  Speaker 2: and swindlers. Pedophiles are especially good at seducing some of

  Speaker 2: the family members so they can then work themselves into
• 17:04
  Speaker 2: getting closer to some of their younger children. That is
• 17:09
  Speaker 2: why parents especially have to keep a sharp eye on
• 17:13
  Speaker 2: any new people who come into their immediate circle of influence.

  Speaker 2: You want to be sure that the gift that the
• 17:23
  Speaker 2: Holy Spirit manifests for you to always keep yourself open
• 17:29
  Speaker 2: and sensitive to anything that the Holy Spirit may want
• 17:33
  Speaker 2: to transmit through you and about others that may be
• 17:39
  Speaker 2: influencing your life. God the Father is very protective of
• 17:46
  Speaker 2: his own children, and he will not hesitate to have
• 17:50
  Speaker 2: his Holy Spirit give you major warnings if you ever
• 17:56
  Speaker 2: start to cross paths with a bad or evil spirit
• 18:02
  Speaker 2: who is either targeting you or any of your close
• 18:05
  Speaker 2: friends or family members for some kind of evil acts.
• 18:12
  Speaker 2: And that is today's reflection on the word.
