Church Fire Amid Graffiti Arrest | Oakland News
A San Francisco Seventh-Day Adventist church went up in flames Monday, just weeks after a man arrested for hateful graffiti was on home detention nearby. Though the suspect, Sadat Mousa, was released on bail and under monitoring, officials now say there’s no evidence linking him to the fire — which destroyed upper levels and collapsed the roof. Firefighters contained it by nightfall, and authorities suspect an accident, especially since scaffolding covered the building. Mousa’s court date for the graffiti charge is July 17th.
