- 0:00Speaker 1: This is the Ben and Ashley I almost famous podcast
- 0:03Speaker 1: with iHeartRadio.
- 0:06Speaker 2: HII everybody, It's Trista and I'm jumping in here for
- 0:09Speaker 2: an almost famous podcast. I'm so excited because I love
- 0:16Speaker 2: our guest today. She's a fan favorite, of course, and
- 0:19Speaker 2: she's one of my favorites too, Daisy Kent soon to
- 0:23Speaker 2: be soon to be Daisy? What what were you? Will
- 0:26Speaker 2: you change your last name?
- 0:28Speaker 3: Yeah? What will it be here?
- 0:35Speaker 2: How are you beautiful? It's so good to see you.
- 0:38Speaker 3: I am so good. It's so good to talk to you.
- 0:40Speaker 3: I've missed you.
- 0:42Speaker 2: I know I miss you too. So if you guys
- 0:45Speaker 2: don't know this, I'm sure you do because you are
- 0:49Speaker 2: almost famous fans. And all of our almost famous fans
- 0:52Speaker 2: know all about our like spinoff podcast, and Daisy has
- 0:56Speaker 2: one of those. It's called Dirty Rush. How are you
- 0:59Speaker 2: are you loving the podcast? Are you loving doing it?
- 1:02Speaker 3: I am loving it. It's so much fun and it's
- 1:04Speaker 3: crazy hearing all of the stories. We just recorded one
- 1:08Speaker 3: where it was like completely anonymous, so we didn't even
- 1:10Speaker 3: talk to the people that are going to be on it.
- 1:13Speaker 3: So I'm excited to hear that because they wanted to
- 1:15Speaker 3: keep it like very anonymous. So it's interesting because everyone
- 1:21Speaker 3: on it is usually anonymous, and so they're saying all
- 1:24Speaker 3: this like very like all these things that in a
- 1:28Speaker 3: sorority you're like not supposed to talk about. So it's
- 1:30Speaker 3: been really cool.
- 1:32Speaker 2: Oh you see, I want to listen. Yes, I know
- 1:39Speaker 2: I've talked about We've talked about me being on it.
- 1:41Speaker 2: I did talk to Jen Fessler I don't know last
- 1:44Speaker 2: week and love her so much. Fun. You and Gia
- 1:50Speaker 2: and Jen are such a good trio. It makes me jealous,
- 1:53Speaker 2: Like I'm like, why didn't you guys ask me to
- 1:55Speaker 2: do it? I want to do it.
- 1:58Speaker 3: We'll have to have you on.
- 2:00Speaker 2: Well, you know, and Blakesley will be graduating high school
- 2:05Speaker 2: next year.
- 2:06Speaker 3: Yeah, is she going to be in a sorority?
- 2:08Speaker 2: Well, I don't know, that's what I mean. So if
- 2:11Speaker 2: you're if you're still doing the podcast, which you will be,
- 2:14Speaker 2: I will definitely be having lots of feels and feelings
- 2:19Speaker 2: and thoughts about the sorority rush process.
- 2:23Speaker 3: Yeah, sure, yeah, I will.
- 2:26Speaker 2: I will. Okay. So Ben and Ashley recently read some
- 2:29Speaker 2: of their journals from their time in the mansion, and
- 2:33Speaker 2: this episode will be you and I reading from our journals.
- 2:39Speaker 2: Which is so funny. I don't. I know, I have
- 2:44Speaker 2: multiple journals, but I only I only looked for one
- 2:48Speaker 2: of them. It was this one. It is it was
- 2:51Speaker 2: actually what we gave guests at our wedding. So it's
- 2:55Speaker 2: a little picture of Brian and I and it says
- 2:57Speaker 2: dream on it.
- 2:58Speaker 3: Thank you.
- 2:59Speaker 2: It's it's pink, of course, and it was like I
- 3:03Speaker 2: was like, oh, I love a journal. So we gave
- 3:06Speaker 2: everybody journals. Everyone else probably threw them away, but I
- 3:09Speaker 2: of course kept mine.
- 3:11Speaker 3: Yeah, I love that. That's so cute. What a great idea.
- 3:15Speaker 2: I mean, you know who doesn't love a journal? So
- 3:19Speaker 2: so I found mine and you found yours. Do you
- 3:22Speaker 2: have one or multiple? What was your journal experience like
- 3:26Speaker 2: on the show?
- 3:27Speaker 3: I just have my one, and it's like, comeful, amazing.
- 3:34Speaker 2: I mean that's what you want from a journal, right,
- 3:36Speaker 2: like they're actually this one. Well I do have more,
- 3:40Speaker 2: but there is another. I have another one of these.
- 3:43Speaker 3: Yah know.
- 3:43Speaker 2: I had a bunch left over that I kept stuff
- 3:48Speaker 2: about Max when he was a baby, and I filled
- 3:50Speaker 2: probably like ten pages. So it makes me sad because
- 3:54Speaker 2: I'm like it's all blank, you know, so filling up
- 3:58Speaker 2: your entire entire journal is very well done, girl, Yeah,
- 4:02Speaker 2: very well.
- 4:03Speaker 3: I was like, because I feel like when you're on
- 4:05Speaker 3: the show, you don't. I mean, you have producers and
- 4:07Speaker 3: like the friend or like the girls that you make
- 4:09Speaker 3: friends with, but a lot of the times you're like
- 4:11Speaker 3: alone with your own thoughts. I used to journal all
- 4:13Speaker 3: the time, so the show actually got me back into journaling,
- 4:17Speaker 3: which is fun because like this whole crazy life experience
- 4:20Speaker 3: I've had since the show, I have it all journaled,
- 4:23Speaker 3: which is really fun to look back on it.
- 4:26Speaker 2: And honestly, it's therapeutic for me. Like that's why I
- 4:29Speaker 2: journaled during the show when I was on the Bachelor,
- 4:31Speaker 2: and I'm pretty sure I journaled during the Bachelor too,
- 4:36Speaker 2: But it was very therapeutic to be able to just
- 4:39Speaker 2: write my thoughts down. And also, like, I wrote a book,
- 4:43Speaker 2: and I'm not bringing this up because I'm like, you know, saying,
- 4:45Speaker 2: go read my book. But in my book, I want.
- 4:48Speaker 3: To read your book.
- 4:49Speaker 2: Oh thanks. It's about gratitude and and one of the
- 4:53Speaker 2: like scientific findings I found was that if you write
- 4:58Speaker 2: things down, if you're if you're having hard time with something,
- 5:01Speaker 2: if you write something down, and really if you throw
- 5:04Speaker 2: it away. But in this case, just the journal, just
- 5:07Speaker 2: writing it down and getting it off your mind so
- 5:09Speaker 2: you can actually focus on the present. I felt like
- 5:13Speaker 2: was very therapeutic for me in a way, for me
- 5:16Speaker 2: to like deal with my feelings and feel like I
- 5:18Speaker 2: was talking to someone even though I wasn't talking to
- 5:21Speaker 2: another sermon.
- 5:22Speaker 3: But you know, I feel like it makes you like
- 5:25Speaker 3: comprehend things more.
- 5:27Speaker 2: Yeah, I totally agree. I agree. Okay, do you want
- 5:31Speaker 2: to go first or do you want me to go first?
- 5:33Speaker 3: I don't care.
- 5:34Speaker 2: I can go first, Okay, go for it. So Daisy
- 5:37Speaker 2: is going to read her journal entry well else he
- 5:40Speaker 2: was on the Bachelor, So.
- 5:42Speaker 3: I thought it'd be fun to read the first journal
- 5:45Speaker 3: entry that I did, because yep, I feel like everyone's
- 5:48Speaker 3: always wondering, like what's it like like when you first
- 5:50Speaker 3: show up? And I feel like this really shows it
- 5:52Speaker 3: and like what I was thinking. Okay, So this was
- 5:56Speaker 3: on September fifteenth, that's so two years ago. I think
- 6:00Speaker 3: I just have somethime, okkay, and I like titled each
- 6:03Speaker 3: of the journal entries and so I see it did yeah,
- 6:06Speaker 3: and so I said, and so it begins. That was
- 6:08Speaker 3: the title of this. Willie picked me up in a
- 6:11Speaker 3: black suv. The driver's name was Willy. He had a
- 6:14Speaker 3: lot of sacks and I ate butterscotch candies the whole
- 6:17Speaker 3: way there. The drive took four hours because there was
- 6:21Speaker 3: so much traffic in la. He told me about marrying
- 6:25Speaker 3: his wife and how it was so unexpected. We arrived
- 6:28Speaker 3: at the hotel and it was really fast. Everyone brought
- 6:31Speaker 3: my bags up and gave me some info and left.
- 6:34Speaker 3: They took my phone the second week gone inside, which
- 6:36Speaker 3: I wasn't expecting. I asked them if I could call
- 6:39Speaker 3: my mom, and so I called her and my dad
- 6:42Speaker 3: and said goodbye. But it was literally so fast I
- 6:44Speaker 3: thought I would have longer to talk to them. It
- 6:46Speaker 3: hit me then now that this process is really starting.
- 6:50Speaker 3: I met Steph, my producer, which made me feel a
- 6:53Speaker 3: lot more calm. And it's really cool because I'm still
- 6:56Speaker 3: like super super close to Steph. Tomorrow they said I
- 7:00Speaker 3: do promo shoots. I don't even know what that means
- 7:04Speaker 3: and I don't have a frim key. They let me
- 7:07Speaker 3: out in I can't go anywhere. I wonder what is
- 7:10Speaker 3: going through my family's minds and my friends. I have
- 7:13Speaker 3: a good feeling about this. I have a good feeling
- 7:16Speaker 3: about how this is going to go. But I just
- 7:19Speaker 3: wonder what they all think about me right now. I'm
- 7:23Speaker 3: feeling like I haven't caught my breath since I got here.
- 7:25Speaker 3: It's also crazy because I've never met this person before
- 7:29Speaker 3: and he could possibly be my husband. I want to
- 7:32Speaker 3: send pictures to my family about everything going on. It's
- 7:36Speaker 3: crazy and I won't be able to tell my family
- 7:38Speaker 3: and friends all of this until the end. But I
- 7:41Speaker 3: could just go home tomorrow. We don't really even know
- 7:44Speaker 3: it's day two tomorrow.
- 7:45Speaker 2: And wow.
- 7:47Speaker 3: Also, picking out outfits is really hard without all your friends.
- 7:50Speaker 3: I'm figuring out good night. I guess I'll let you
- 7:54Speaker 3: guys know how tomorrow goes.
- 7:57Speaker 2: That's so cute. Oh my god, it's so true because
- 8:02Speaker 2: I feel like you. I mean, even if you've watched
- 8:06Speaker 2: the show, you really don't know like how it all
- 8:08Speaker 2: goes down. And those little moments are like you learning
- 8:12Speaker 2: about how, oh you think you're going to be able
- 8:15Speaker 2: to have this long journ up conversation with your parents
- 8:17Speaker 2: and say goodbye, and I'm you know you really just
- 8:19Speaker 2: basically they're like, Okay, here's the phone, Okay, say goodbye. Okay,
- 8:23Speaker 2: maybe now we need the phone. Back.
- 8:24Speaker 3: It's literally like so fast and there's nothing like it too.
- 8:28Speaker 3: That's why I think a lot of times people don't
- 8:29Speaker 3: understand because you literally I remember when I was in
- 8:35Speaker 3: like at the finale and I had to turn on
- 8:38Speaker 3: my phone because they needed some like information from something,
- 8:44Speaker 3: and so I had to turn on my phone to
- 8:46Speaker 3: like get it. But they were like had it in
- 8:48Speaker 3: like the envelope sealed and then they open it handed
- 8:50Speaker 3: it to me and I turned it on and all
- 8:53Speaker 3: I saw was a text for my mom, and it
- 8:55Speaker 3: was like, I miss you so much, thinking about you
- 8:58Speaker 3: every day. I love you, and I'm remember just seeing
- 9:00Speaker 3: that I like popped up right when I needed it,
- 9:02Speaker 3: and I was like, oh my gosh. But besides that,
- 9:05Speaker 3: I didn't see my phone at all.
- 9:07Speaker 2: So how are you feeling reading that back? Does it
- 9:11Speaker 2: put you back into that space?
- 9:14Speaker 3: Honestly, it's like I just think about I had such
- 9:17Speaker 3: a positive experience. At times it was like really hard,
- 9:21Speaker 3: but I think like reading it it just makes me
- 9:24Speaker 3: think that like everything happened for a reason and kind
- 9:27Speaker 3: of just like validates it. And like last night I
- 9:29Speaker 3: was like going through like reading some of it and
- 9:31Speaker 3: I was like, oh my gosh, even all the stuff
- 9:33Speaker 3: that I haven't about, like learning about myself like a
- 9:37Speaker 3: ton I write how like all the producers and everyone
- 9:40Speaker 3: told me that I was like kind of pushing like
- 9:43Speaker 3: things that have happened to me in the past, whether
- 9:46Speaker 3: it was like medical or like in a relationship, like
- 9:48Speaker 3: pushing it aside and being like, oh, like this is
- 9:50Speaker 3: like totally okay that this happened. And they were all like,
- 9:53Speaker 3: it's not okay that that happened, Like you need to
- 9:56Speaker 3: start understanding that, like this doesn't normally happen to people.
- 10:00Speaker 3: And so I think they helped me like accept like
- 10:03Speaker 3: a lot of things and realize like the purpose kind
- 10:07Speaker 3: of behind like everything that had happened in my life.
- 10:10Speaker 3: So it is really cool to look back at that
- 10:12Speaker 3: part too.
- 10:13Speaker 2: What would you say to her now that that younger Daisy,
- 10:17Speaker 2: if you had the.
- 10:18Speaker 3: Chance, I would tell her to feel everything. I think
- 10:22Speaker 3: I think I've well, I think I've always felt everything,
- 10:24Speaker 3: but I think I know I didn't. I think I
- 10:26Speaker 3: like numbed a lot of it. And I was like
- 10:29Speaker 3: I was like, this is okay that this happened, and
- 10:31Speaker 3: like it just happened to me because but then like
- 10:34Speaker 3: realizing like no, it's not okay like that certain things
- 10:37Speaker 3: happened and it's okay to be mad and angry about
- 10:39Speaker 3: them and like work through that.
- 10:43Speaker 2: Totally feel everything, because you can only get better by
- 10:47Speaker 2: feeling it, you know, even the bad stuff. That's how
- 10:50Speaker 2: I think.
- 10:59Speaker 3: Yeah, when I was reading my journal, I this fell
- 11:05Speaker 3: out of it and I was like, oh my gosh.
- 11:08Speaker 3: So my dad wrote me this and he like sealed
- 11:11Speaker 3: it with wax and he was like, open it like
- 11:14Speaker 3: when you really need it. And I remember I was.
- 11:18Speaker 3: I opened it right before I was like going in
- 11:21Speaker 3: and walking out of the limo because I was like
- 11:22Speaker 3: freaking out. I was like, okay, I'll probably read it
- 11:24Speaker 3: like later on. But I opened it and he just
- 11:27Speaker 3: said Daisy Bob because they called my dad calls me
- 11:31Speaker 3: Bopper because when I was like little, that was my nickname.
- 11:34Speaker 3: But he said, he said, Daisy Bob, you have all
- 11:37Speaker 3: you need with and all things are possible through love.
- 11:40Speaker 3: Thank cute.
- 11:42Speaker 2: That is really sweet.
- 11:45Speaker 3: Yeah, And I forgot about that until last night when
- 11:48Speaker 3: I like opened it up and I was like, whoa.
- 11:51Speaker 2: Oh, that's a treasure you need to like hold on,
- 11:54Speaker 2: like frame it or yeah, you know right, that's such
- 11:58Speaker 2: a treasure. How have you changed since that moment, since
- 12:03Speaker 2: writing that passage.
- 12:05Speaker 3: I think like so much. I'm definitely the thing that
- 12:10Speaker 3: the show helped me the most with, I think is confidence,
- 12:12Speaker 3: because not that I was very insecure before, but there
- 12:16Speaker 3: were definitely a lot of things like I was insecure
- 12:19Speaker 3: and like worried about, especially regarding all my medical things.
- 12:23Speaker 3: And I think the show, like it really helped me
- 12:27Speaker 3: like become confident and also showed me like to trust myself,
- 12:31Speaker 3: because I think so often when you're like in relationships
- 12:35Speaker 3: and when you're doing anything, you always look from validation
- 12:38Speaker 3: from like your family and your friends because they're the
- 12:40Speaker 3: people closest to you. But I think it really taught
- 12:42Speaker 3: me like more so to trust myself and understand myself more.
- 12:48Speaker 3: If that makes sense.
- 12:49Speaker 2: Yeah, completely, completely makes sense. And I love that you
- 12:54Speaker 2: that you experienced that because you should feel confident. You're
- 12:57Speaker 2: a beautiful, powerful woman, and yeah, you should feel all
- 13:01Speaker 2: of those feelings.
- 13:03Speaker 3: Thank you. I can't wait to hear yours.
- 13:06Speaker 2: Oh boy. Okay, so this was and it says October
- 13:14Speaker 2: question mark. So we have no idea and this is
- 13:18Speaker 2: two thousand and two.
- 13:19Speaker 3: Okay.
- 13:20Speaker 2: I did a lot of writing and you know what's funny.
- 13:24Speaker 2: The title for this is the beginning of our love story.
- 13:30Speaker 2: I love that this was just I think I just
- 13:35Speaker 2: wrote about Ryan in this one. I might have even
- 13:39Speaker 2: if memory serves me right, I feel like I might
- 13:42Speaker 2: have taken the elements that I wrote in my other
- 13:45Speaker 2: journals and just like wrote one specific journal about me
- 13:49Speaker 2: and Ryan in this one.
- 13:50Speaker 3: So that's cool.
- 13:52Speaker 2: Okay, So this says my day with Ryan could not
- 13:55Speaker 2: have been better. We started at the firehouse, meeting his friends,
- 13:58Speaker 2: sliding down the poole, writing in the track and bucket,
- 14:01Speaker 2: then moved to the wedding deck at the top of
- 14:03Speaker 2: Veal Mountain for sunset, and onto his house to meet
- 14:06Speaker 2: Barb and Bob, my in laws now and Natasha, his
- 14:10Speaker 2: husky at the time the fire station started. The started
- 14:13Speaker 2: the kisses in the top of the bucket with Jake,
- 14:16Speaker 2: his friend Jake's verbal suggestion. And then at sunset and
- 14:21Speaker 2: Ryan met one of my number one criteria good kisser.
- 14:28Speaker 3: That is key.
- 14:30Speaker 2: That's day. We toasted at sunset. I said to a
- 14:36Speaker 2: beautiful day with a beautiful man, and he said to
- 14:39Speaker 2: living life and taking chances. And actually that so my mom.
- 14:44Speaker 2: I don't know if you've heard of sticks furniture, It's
- 14:46Speaker 2: like this furniture that you can get like like they
- 14:50Speaker 2: will put quotes into the wood, like burn it into
- 14:54Speaker 2: the wood and like kind of created. However, you it's
- 14:56Speaker 2: like kind of like whimsical and hand painted anyway, So
- 15:01Speaker 2: living life and taking chances is actually burned onto one
- 15:04Speaker 2: of the pieces of furniture. After we had our sip,
- 15:07Speaker 2: he wanted to risk something he had been dying all
- 15:10Speaker 2: day to kiss me, and they would kill him his
- 15:12Speaker 2: friends if he didn't. So we kissed our first real kiss.
- 15:16Speaker 2: Because at this point it was just like like a
- 15:19Speaker 2: peck or you know whatever.
- 15:20Speaker 3: It wasn't like a kiss really, and you were at hometowns.
- 15:25Speaker 2: We were at hometowns.
- 15:27Speaker 3: And you would only like each other on the cheek.
- 15:30Speaker 2: I mean, so he had kissed me like on the lips,
- 15:34Speaker 2: but it wasn't like it wasn't real, Like it wasn't
- 15:38Speaker 2: it was just like a not an afterthought. But I
- 15:41Speaker 2: feel like he felt like, oh, but you know, I
- 15:44Speaker 2: just have to do this, or I felt like, oh,
- 15:46Speaker 2: I'm coming in for a kiss, but he wasn't really ready,
- 15:49Speaker 2: and you know, laying the groundwork going into the show,
- 15:55Speaker 2: I was called every name in the book because I
- 15:57Speaker 2: was the girl like choosing the guys and the first
- 15:59Speaker 2: person who had done it, and so every you know,
- 16:02Speaker 2: I didn't want to look like a slut and like
- 16:06Speaker 2: going in and kissing all these guys, So I was
- 16:08Speaker 2: very conscientious about not kissing everybody. Yeah, okay, so and
- 16:15Speaker 2: at that moment everyone else disappeared. I didn't want it
- 16:18Speaker 2: to end, although I also didn't want to go too fast.
- 16:21Speaker 2: It was picture perfect, the stuff that dreams are made of,
- 16:24Speaker 2: and who could forget it was on the wedding deck
- 16:30Speaker 2: after our first After that moment, I bonded with the family,
- 16:35Speaker 2: including Natasha. What a beautiful dog. We joked in the
- 16:38Speaker 2: car that my pants looked similar to something he could
- 16:40Speaker 2: see his mom in. It couldn't have been a more
- 16:43Speaker 2: foreshadowing beat because we walked in and Barb and I
- 16:46Speaker 2: were practically twins. It was hilarious. They seemed genuinely impressed
- 16:50Speaker 2: and satisfied that Ryan was happy. But not until they
- 16:52Speaker 2: left it Ryan and I really get to connect. We
- 16:54Speaker 2: cuddled on the couch and the best part we had
- 16:57Speaker 2: our first passionate kiss.
- 17:00Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 17:03Speaker 2: I could have stayed in that moment forever. He was
- 17:07Speaker 2: the best kisser ever. Those lips, I can hardly stand it.
- 17:11Speaker 2: The day was absolute perfection, even without the note. Ryan
- 17:15Speaker 2: handed me a letter under the table, explaining his feelings
- 17:20Speaker 2: and telling me that he was falling in love. I
- 17:22Speaker 2: read it to Lisa, who was my exec producer. Yeah,
- 17:27Speaker 2: she cried the fact that he didn't watch the show
- 17:30Speaker 2: endears me to him even more. He asked me what
- 17:32Speaker 2: I would do with my last name after I got married,
- 17:35Speaker 2: and said, Trista Setter sounds pretty good, too cute.
- 17:39Speaker 3: Oh my gosh, that's so cute. Do you still have
- 17:43Speaker 3: the letter he wrote you?
- 17:46Speaker 2: Oh? Yes, Oh yes, that's in my safe.
- 17:50Speaker 3: That is so special.
- 17:52Speaker 2: Yeah, have the letter. I have all of his poems,
- 17:54Speaker 2: I save everything. So yeah, yeah, I mean it just
- 17:58Speaker 2: brings back the best memory is like, you know, obviously
- 18:02Speaker 2: it was such a weird way to meet my husband,
- 18:07Speaker 2: and he is so not the person to be on
- 18:12Speaker 2: the Bachelorette. Yeah, so not the person. I love that though, Yeah,
- 18:16Speaker 2: totally so Like reading my words just takes me right
- 18:22Speaker 2: back to it. And I cherished this cherishing.
- 18:24Speaker 3: I love that. That's so cool that you documented all
- 18:28Speaker 3: of it.
- 18:29Speaker 2: I mean I tried it. Actually, it's funny because I'm
- 18:34Speaker 2: pretty sure that oh it's funny because I kept reading.
- 18:39Speaker 2: On November twenty second, I said, wow, has time passed?
- 18:43Speaker 2: The one moment in life when I should have recorded
- 18:46Speaker 2: every step is left to my memory. I'm like, damn it,
- 18:51Speaker 2: I didn't. You know, you get so busy as the
- 18:54Speaker 2: lead that you like it, you just don't have a
- 18:56Speaker 2: lot of time to write. Yeah, even though I wanted
- 18:59Speaker 2: to write all the time, I just I was bad
- 19:02Speaker 2: about it. So anyway, I love that I have. I
- 19:05Speaker 2: have that moment at least, you know.
- 19:07Speaker 3: That is awesome. That's like so special.
- 19:11Speaker 2: Oh gosh, I mean really and and you know, like
- 19:14Speaker 2: looking back, it all worked out clearly and it always
- 19:21Speaker 2: does as it should. And I feel like I wish
- 19:26Speaker 2: because my biggest regret from the show is not telling
- 19:30Speaker 2: him when I was actually developing feelings because I didn't
- 19:36Speaker 2: want to show all my cards because of what had
- 19:38Speaker 2: happened to me on The Bachelor, Like I got to
- 19:40Speaker 2: the you know, the final rose ceremony, thought he was
- 19:43Speaker 2: legitimately going to propose and got my heart broken, and
- 19:46Speaker 2: so when I became the lead, I was like, well,
- 19:48Speaker 2: I don't want to show all my cards because what
- 19:51Speaker 2: if he says something that like is a total deal breaker,
- 19:54Speaker 2: like the last day. Because we've only known each other
- 19:56Speaker 2: for six weeks, you know, so I really were not
- 20:00Speaker 2: opening up as much. So I wish I if I
- 20:03Speaker 2: could go back and tell that Trista, that version of
- 20:07Speaker 2: myself and anything, it would be to just feel all
- 20:12Speaker 2: the feelings and express those feelings, especially to him.
- 20:15Speaker 3: So anyway, that's so special. Well you can have you
- 20:19Speaker 3: like gone, But has he read your journals of like
- 20:22Speaker 3: what you wrote about him?
- 20:24Speaker 2: I feel like possibly, maybe, but I don't know that
- 20:29Speaker 2: we've ever like sat down. Yeah, you know, yeah, maybe
- 20:35Speaker 2: he'll just watch this. He'll just listen to this podcast
- 20:37Speaker 2: and be like, oh I got to I got to read.
- 20:39Speaker 3: Yeah, he just got Did he watch the show when
- 20:42Speaker 3: it was airing?
- 20:44Speaker 2: He started to He had like viewing parties in bail
- 20:48Speaker 2: with like, you know, a bunch of people, and I
- 20:54Speaker 2: think the first episode he was like, Okay, I can't
- 20:57Speaker 2: do this. I can't watch her like with other guys.
- 20:59Speaker 2: You know, we were engaged at the time, so he
- 21:01Speaker 2: was like, I really don't need to watch this at all.
- 21:06Speaker 2: So he watched like I think maybe the first maybe
- 21:09Speaker 2: the second episode, and.
- 21:10Speaker 3: Then yeah, he didn't watch the rest.
- 21:13Speaker 2: Yeah, not necessary. I feel like there is something to
- 21:19Speaker 2: these journal entries. We need to do more of this,
- 21:22Speaker 2: like have more people come on the show. I would
- 21:25Speaker 2: love to do like a little spin off of just
- 21:28Speaker 2: having people come and really reconnect with the person that
- 21:33Speaker 2: they were on the show and like what they would
- 21:35Speaker 2: tell that person because I feel like people learn, you know,
- 21:39Speaker 2: from their experiences. That would be so cool to learn
- 21:43Speaker 2: about what everyone learned, you know, and what they, you know,
- 21:47Speaker 2: truly were feeling in the moment, because once you get
- 21:52Speaker 2: off the show, I feel like, you know, it kind
- 21:55Speaker 2: of gets jumbled up in your mind, like it gets
- 21:57Speaker 2: recreated because of what other people are telling you they
- 22:00Speaker 2: saw and you know that sort of thing. So I
- 22:03Speaker 2: love just getting into that moment with everybody. Anyway, thank
- 22:08Speaker 2: you so much for sharing your journal entry.
- 22:12Speaker 3: It was so fun to hear yours too.
