- 3:03Speaker 1: And thank you in.
- 3:06Speaker 2: Thank you.
- 3:07Speaker 1: Okay, So, Beatrice, I have to ask you, did you
- 3:12Speaker 1: have any takeaways from this wonderful episode, Season seven, episode
- 3:16Speaker 1: five of Sister Wives.
- 3:17Speaker 2: I mean, I've watched this episode like probably three times,
- 3:21Speaker 2: and I I don't remember because like I've watched it
- 3:24Speaker 2: in the past and then like I watched it a
- 3:26Speaker 2: couple times for this podcast to try and like remember
- 3:29Speaker 2: what the fuck happened in it, But like I went limp,
- 3:33Speaker 2: you know, like Janelle like gets fat shaved again, she
- 3:36Speaker 2: climbs a mountains.
- 3:37Speaker 1: She can't win, honey.
- 3:38Speaker 2: And then it's like we see all the older kids
- 3:40Speaker 2: in their lives and like I honestly don't give.
- 3:43Speaker 1: They have hopes and they have dreams for their future.
- 3:46Speaker 1: Five years in the future. Literally them achieved their dreams
- 3:51Speaker 1: at all at all, which is fine. Yeah, but I
- 3:53Speaker 1: am bored.
- 3:54Speaker 2: I'm so bored.
- 3:55Speaker 1: Yeah, I've got no takeaway. I mean, really that have
- 3:58Speaker 1: nothing to say other than let's get into the episode. Yeah,
- 4:00Speaker 1: Season seven, episode five entitled.
- 4:03Speaker 2: Growing Up Polygamists because apparently we don't have an episode four.
- 4:06Speaker 1: It's not just every season, bitch, it's every episode we
- 4:10Speaker 1: have to talk about how we're polygamous. Guess what We've
- 4:13Speaker 1: been with you on this journey for lo these many years.
- 4:16Speaker 1: For real, we know you are polygamists. You don't have
- 4:19Speaker 1: to tell us anymore. We don't have to discuss it
- 4:21Speaker 1: amongst the children anymore. You don't have to go out
- 4:23Speaker 1: to various people in the mall and stuff and tell
- 4:25Speaker 1: them you're polygony.
- 4:26Speaker 2: Yeah, I'm so tired, sick of it. We have a
- 4:30Speaker 2: forty five minute long episode where we ask each and
- 4:32Speaker 2: every one of the eldest children except for Leon, I,
- 4:35Speaker 2: guess if they're gonna be polygamists? And no splash, Leon's
- 4:38Speaker 2: the only one that wants to yeah, but they don't
- 4:40Speaker 2: end up being one no, and neither do the other
- 4:43Speaker 2: older kids because none of them are interested in that bullshit,
- 4:46Speaker 2: And it's just like, why do we have to spend
- 4:48Speaker 2: time about this? But before we even get to that,
- 4:50Speaker 2: we start with poor Janelle, who's going to the gym
- 4:54Speaker 2: again because she's meeting up with her trader and she's
- 4:57Speaker 2: gonna get weighed again on Nash Television, and this time
- 5:02Speaker 2: it's after supposedly thirty days of her eating clean and
- 5:07Speaker 2: working out and like doing everything right.
- 5:11Speaker 1: Which she hasn't done. And she admits, like, I'm busy, bitch.
- 5:16Speaker 1: I got kids, I'm running people around, I got my
- 5:19Speaker 1: own busy, I got real estate, I got all these
- 5:21Speaker 1: things that I'm trying to do. And so the last
- 5:23Speaker 1: thing that's on my Mormon mind is like, how do
- 5:27Speaker 1: I eat clean and lose weight? So she's showing up
- 5:29Speaker 1: to the appointment knowing that it's not going to be
- 5:32Speaker 1: a great day for the scale. And I was just
- 5:35Speaker 1: thinking to myself, Beatrice, I just remember being your age.
- 5:38Speaker 1: What are you forty two?
- 5:40Speaker 2: Wow? Twenty nine?
- 5:43Speaker 1: My baby's twenty I remember being twenty nine years old
- 5:45Speaker 1: and thinking by the time I'm my age in my
- 5:49Speaker 1: fifties that I'm not going to care about how much
- 5:52Speaker 1: I weigh. I'm not going to care about like how
- 5:55Speaker 1: I look because I'm going to be so happy with
- 5:59Speaker 1: myself It's not gonna matter anymore. Well, news flash, here
- 6:02Speaker 1: you are. I'm like Janelle trying to rock climb and
- 6:06Speaker 1: mountain climb and getting on scales in front of a camera,
- 6:10Speaker 1: trying to prove to myself that I'm still valid and worthy.
- 6:13Speaker 1: I'm like, Janelle, you don't need to be doing this.
- 6:15Speaker 1: Why is this a humiliation ritual every other episode? For Janelle,
- 6:20Speaker 1: it just doesn't want to do it. She's like literally crying.
- 6:23Speaker 2: I know, it's sad, and she like even says like
- 6:25Speaker 2: Cody never says anything to her about her weight, like
- 6:28Speaker 2: he's never like shamed her, which I'm just like, I
- 6:31Speaker 2: don't know how much I believe about that. But maybe
- 6:34Speaker 2: he's all into her body YadA yaudi, and maybe he
- 6:36Speaker 2: was just shaming Christine for hers I don't know, but
- 6:39Speaker 2: it's like, Janelle, you really don't have any reason to
- 6:42Speaker 2: like feel so much shame, unless like there's something in
- 6:45Speaker 2: you that wants to change your body, and that's fine.
- 6:47Speaker 2: Like if you want to go to the gym, and
- 6:49Speaker 2: like she's talked about it, she likes going to the gym,
- 6:51Speaker 2: she likes her fitness. She wanted to make her own
- 6:53Speaker 2: Mormon Jim and everything, so like she's passionate about it,
- 6:56Speaker 2: but like to be repeatedly way on National TV, is
- 7:01Speaker 2: just like another thing like I just can't give. I
- 7:03Speaker 2: would never.
- 7:04Speaker 1: I feel bad, and I feel bad, and I wish
- 7:07Speaker 1: that she could be a part of that lifestyle and
- 7:11Speaker 1: enjoy the benefits of all of that without like having
- 7:13Speaker 1: to hop on a scale and being so wetted to
- 7:16Speaker 1: the number in terms of what her success is. And
- 7:20Speaker 1: it's like she's in her forties and she has the urge,
- 7:24Speaker 1: it feels like to just be happy. And she even says,
- 7:26Speaker 1: like why can't I just be fat? Like I think
- 7:28Speaker 1: it's like time for me to accept that I'm just
- 7:30Speaker 1: a fat person and that's okay. Like she's this close
- 7:33Speaker 1: to just accepting herself for who she is, which is
- 7:36Speaker 1: a beautiful, wonderful, intelligent person. And I so related to
- 7:40Speaker 1: her because I'm ten or fifteen years older now than
- 7:44Speaker 1: she was then and I'm still not there. Yeah, And
- 7:46Speaker 1: as women, we all struggle with this, and I just
- 7:49Speaker 1: feel really bad for her.
- 7:51Speaker 2: Yeah, And it's like at the same time, it's like
- 7:53Speaker 2: Janelle's saying this, like, well, maybe I should just be
- 7:55Speaker 2: resigned to the fact that I'll be like fat forever.
- 7:57Speaker 2: But then at the same time, it's like she wants
- 8:00Speaker 2: to work hard and she's really passionate about doing this,
- 8:03Speaker 2: but she also knows that she's not doing everything that
- 8:06Speaker 2: she needs to be doing to like get to the
- 8:09Speaker 2: goal that she wants to get to. And so it's
- 8:11Speaker 2: like this weird, like vicious cycle that she's in of
- 8:14Speaker 2: like being mean to herself and like feeling shame about
- 8:19Speaker 2: her bad habits. But it's like, just get to the
- 8:22Speaker 2: point where you're fine with where you're at. If you're
- 8:24Speaker 2: fine with where you're at, that's great, Like you don't
- 8:27Speaker 2: need to put pressure on yourself to be any which way.
- 8:29Speaker 2: And like I don't know why she's even doing this,
- 8:31Speaker 2: Like maybe she felt insecure about seeing herself on TV,
- 8:35Speaker 2: because like even sometimes when I'm watching the podcast, I'm like,
- 8:37Speaker 2: look at myself on this camera and I'm like, god, damn,
- 8:40Speaker 2: really well because it's the angle and stuff, Like I'm
- 8:43Speaker 2: just wondering if she's looking at herself on the footage
- 8:46Speaker 2: and feeling bad about her image, and maybe that's why
- 8:49Speaker 2: she's feeling compelled to like work out, like try to
- 8:52Speaker 2: do this stuff. Like I don't know what's going on
- 8:54Speaker 2: with Janelle, but it's like she gets on the scale,
- 8:57Speaker 2: she gained four pounds, which is like really not that
- 8:59Speaker 2: big of a deal, Like, no, she gained four pounds
- 9:01Speaker 2: after a month, and she feels really shitty about herself.
- 9:04Speaker 2: And then her trainer like gets on.
- 9:06Speaker 1: Her about it a second, but he tries to use symbolisms,
- 9:11Speaker 1: I have the tiger bullshit, Like they go and sit
- 9:15Speaker 1: down in the little cafe and he's like, write down
- 9:17Speaker 1: one word that is acting as an obstacle to your
- 9:21Speaker 1: weight loss right now. And I don't want to see
- 9:22Speaker 1: it or anything, but I want you to write it
- 9:24Speaker 1: down and I want you to keep it with you,
- 9:26Speaker 1: and you know, just like fine, whatever. And this is
- 9:30Speaker 1: what makes me wonder whether this isn't actually about her
- 9:34Speaker 1: love of fitness, her wanting to lose weight and having
- 9:38Speaker 1: her own fitness goals, rather whether this is about production
- 9:42Speaker 1: like production is or the family or coony like making
- 9:46Speaker 1: her create this particular style of content that she absolutely
- 9:50Speaker 1: hates and I just wish she didn't have to do it.
- 9:53Speaker 2: I'm just like, there could have been so many other
- 9:55Speaker 2: things she could have made content about, like her going
- 9:57Speaker 2: to her job or something, or like talking about work,
- 10:00Speaker 2: and I don't know anything other than getting on a
- 10:03Speaker 2: scale repeatedly for everybody to judge her for her lack
- 10:07Speaker 2: of progress or whatever. Like I just I don't know,
- 10:10Speaker 2: I felt bad she. I think we get to a
- 10:14Speaker 2: point where she climbs a mountain. I think it's the
- 10:16Speaker 2: trainer's idea or something. But before we even get to that,
- 10:19Speaker 2: then we bop on over to the older kids, where
- 10:21Speaker 2: we have to like go on a montage with each
- 10:24Speaker 2: and every one of them. Why are we doing this again,
- 10:27Speaker 2: I don't know, to talk about the fact that they
- 10:28Speaker 2: grew up polygamist and are you going to be a
- 10:31Speaker 2: polygamist yourself?
- 10:32Speaker 1: And also it's better that we moved from Utah to
- 10:35Speaker 1: Las Vegas. We love Vegas because the kids in the
- 10:39Speaker 1: beginning were very unhappy, especially Hunter, especially Maddie and also
- 10:45Speaker 1: Leon and they all wanted to get out of there
- 10:47Speaker 1: as soon as possible. But now two years later, the
- 10:51Speaker 1: Browns seem really interested in conveying that the kids are thriving.
- 10:56Speaker 1: They're super happy and they've got goals man five years.
- 11:00Speaker 1: And so first we go to Logan and I always
- 11:03Speaker 1: love to spend time with Logan. I like him because
- 11:07Speaker 1: in the last season or so, like, we didn't have
- 11:09Speaker 1: a whole lot of time with him. And so we
- 11:11Speaker 1: go to his home that he's sharing with roommates, and
- 11:16Speaker 1: we get to meet his roommates. We learned that Logan
- 11:19Speaker 1: is single, but he's been kissing up on honey.
- 11:23Speaker 2: Oh, he's been sucking hardcore.
- 11:24Speaker 1: Do you think he's he's he literally said banging.
- 11:31Speaker 2: He said he's so much more liberal than his dad,
- 11:34Speaker 2: who believes in court. It like this dude is fucking I.
- 11:36Speaker 1: Don't think so. I thought he's kissing. I think he's
- 11:38Speaker 1: playing the field. I think he's starting to explore his options.
- 11:43Speaker 1: We meet a bunch of Logan's friends. They're all cute
- 11:47Speaker 1: or whatever, little kids from the university, and they all
- 11:50Speaker 1: tell us what they think about polygamy. It seems like
- 11:52Speaker 1: this is a great family. Logan seems fabulous. I don't
- 11:56Speaker 1: have any problem with it at all. And I'm yeh snoring.
- 12:03Speaker 1: I don't care.
- 12:04Speaker 2: It's so boring and it's like always the same thing.
- 12:06Speaker 2: Like every single person that they interview that's not polygamist
- 12:11Speaker 2: is always like, yeah, they seem like nice people, but
- 12:13Speaker 2: I would never live this lifestyle ever.
- 12:15Speaker 1: And it's like shocker, dug rinse sound repeat.
- 12:18Speaker 2: It's like the same thing over and over again. And
- 12:22Speaker 2: then we interview Logan and we're like, are you gonna
- 12:24Speaker 2: be polygamists? And he's like, hmmm, probably not.
- 12:28Speaker 1: Maybe, I mean maybe if I find myself, you know,
- 12:32Speaker 1: with somebody and it happens or something, I'm open to it,
- 12:36Speaker 1: I guess, but probably.
- 12:37Speaker 2: Not, probably not at all. And then like we hear
- 12:40Speaker 2: from Cody and the wives and stuff like we have
- 12:43Speaker 2: to also hear from the parents and their thoughts, and
- 12:46Speaker 2: Cody's like, well, yeah, of course it's a question for
- 12:48Speaker 2: like all of our kids and whether or not they're
- 12:50Speaker 2: gonna live polygamy. But we always give them the choice,
- 12:53Speaker 2: and of course we'd be happy if they lived it,
- 12:56Speaker 2: but also we're fine if they don't.
- 12:57Speaker 1: It's like, okay, don't care, ill I don't get And
- 13:01Speaker 1: then we go to Aspen. Yeah, and we do the
- 13:03Speaker 1: same thing with Aspen. She's a part of a sorority,
- 13:07Speaker 1: she's loving it, and we meet her sorority friends, saying
- 13:11Speaker 1: they go out to play pinball and pizza. Yeah, And
- 13:16Speaker 1: Aspen tells us that she does not think that she
- 13:18Speaker 1: could be a polygamist. She does want to become an educator, however,
- 13:22Speaker 1: and she wants to have children because she is known
- 13:25Speaker 1: from a very young age that all she wants is
- 13:27Speaker 1: like babies, kids and everything, which did make me take
- 13:31Speaker 1: a moment in the Year of Our Lord twenty twenty
- 13:33Speaker 1: five to be so grateful that Aspen and Mitch are
- 13:38Speaker 1: pregosa and they're going to have a baby. And I
- 13:40Speaker 1: think she's going to be a wonderful mother.
- 13:43Speaker 2: Definitely, because she's had so many years of practice being
- 13:45Speaker 2: the mom af her siblings and stuff. And then we
- 13:49Speaker 2: go to Maddie who's horseback riding.
- 13:52Speaker 1: And she's going like on a double date with a
- 13:54Speaker 1: short case.
- 13:56Speaker 2: I was kind of surprise.
- 13:57Speaker 1: I was a little man, so we a little bit.
- 14:01Speaker 2: I was like, Okay, it's interesting, but she's dating this guy.
- 14:05Speaker 2: And then we meet her other generic friends and of
- 14:07Speaker 2: course Mattie's like, I will never be a plugmissive said
- 14:10Speaker 2: that from day one. We knew this, and I don't know.
- 14:15Speaker 2: I was looking at Maddie's hair. Yeah, and I'm just
- 14:18Speaker 2: like this hair, it was a different time it was
- 14:23Speaker 2: and she's young, so like whatever. Yeah, I'm wondering if
- 14:26Speaker 2: she meets Caleb shortly after this.
- 14:28Speaker 1: I'm wondering, is she talking to Caleb because this is
- 14:30Speaker 1: senior year of high school, right, And I think that
- 14:33Speaker 1: they met when she was seventeen years old, so at
- 14:36Speaker 1: somebody's funeral, right, I think I didn't his brother just
- 14:40Speaker 1: die this past summer.
- 14:41Speaker 2: I think it was.
- 14:42Speaker 1: I think that's when she met Caleb.
- 14:44Speaker 2: I think she's.
- 14:45Speaker 1: Talking to him right now.
- 14:46Speaker 2: I mean, she's gotta be, but that she's like pretending
- 14:48Speaker 2: that the short King is your boyfriend and that they're
- 14:50Speaker 2: so into each other. But they don't look like they're
- 14:52Speaker 2: into each other.
- 14:54Speaker 1: Mattie's not acting like she's into the short King. This
- 14:57Speaker 1: short King is like, oh, we're dating for sure, Like
- 15:00Speaker 1: of course he'd say that we are not dating. Yeah, yeah,
- 15:03Speaker 1: absolutely not.
- 15:04Speaker 2: And he's like, Maddie had a crush on me, and
- 15:06Speaker 2: she's like, no, he had a crush on me, yeah,
- 15:08Speaker 2: because you're so desirable. We get it. Gross. And then
- 15:11Speaker 2: we go over to mkeelty.
- 15:14Speaker 1: God, I love her. I sent you a picture. Should
- 15:17Speaker 1: we put it up right now. I don't know, I
- 15:19Speaker 1: just paused it, and I'm just like, oh mchelt, michelse
- 15:22Speaker 1: so sweet summer child. Kelt.
- 15:25Speaker 2: Well, she's always been annoying. I'm just gonna see that
- 15:29Speaker 2: from right here. And she goes Minnie golfing with her
- 15:33Speaker 2: generic friends and she talks about how she will never
- 15:37Speaker 2: live polygamy. She actually wants to be single and live
- 15:41Speaker 2: in San Francisco, and she.
- 15:42Speaker 1: Was born, she was born to be a fashion designer.
- 15:48Speaker 1: And so I'm gonna move to San Francisco and I
- 15:51Speaker 1: don't need a man at all, and I'm gonna foster
- 15:54Speaker 1: three children within five years. And that's my calling. To
- 16:00Speaker 1: be a teenager again.
- 16:02Speaker 2: It's actually really funny.
- 16:03Speaker 1: What did you want to be as a teenager?
- 16:05Speaker 2: Oh god, I wanted to be a neuroscientist. I'm like,
- 16:08Speaker 2: I'm going to be a neurosurgeon. I'm going to be
- 16:10Speaker 2: a researcher. Get my PhD.
- 16:12Speaker 1: That's cool though, Yeah, do you know what I wanted
- 16:16Speaker 1: to be?
- 16:17Speaker 2: What? A singer? No? A stripper?
- 16:20Speaker 1: I wish, Oh my god, I would have killed it
- 16:23Speaker 1: what I was just married to young or else I
- 16:25Speaker 1: would I would have rocked it out, hoodie, I wanted
- 16:27Speaker 1: to be a pastor.
- 16:28Speaker 2: Oh my god. Well that's sweet though, and it you
- 16:31Speaker 2: kind of didn't for Patreon. Yeah yeah, but oh that's cute.
- 16:37Speaker 2: I always wanted to be like a pastor. I always
- 16:40Speaker 2: wanted to be in a church. Well that's cool. Yeah,
- 16:42Speaker 2: it's better than like a fashion designer in San Francisco
- 16:45Speaker 2: fostering three kids.
- 16:46Speaker 1: Well, everybody has to have a dream.
- 16:48Speaker 2: It's kind of funny. I mean, if like somebody interviewed me,
- 16:51Speaker 2: or like even my sister, because she had big dreams too,
- 16:54Speaker 2: like as a teenager, I would have totally cringed. I'm
- 16:56Speaker 2: sure they all watched this stuff back and it's like,
- 16:58Speaker 2: oh my god, I'm cringe. But like, look, Mickeldye's a
- 17:02Speaker 2: girl who knows what she wants. Sure, it's just kind
- 17:04Speaker 2: of funny to me that she like wanted to be
- 17:06Speaker 2: a big league fashion designer and then she ends up
- 17:08Speaker 2: working at a pawn.
- 17:09Speaker 1: Shop and meeting Tony.
- 17:12Speaker 2: Too many tackles, dropping out of college and meeting Tony.
- 17:16Speaker 1: Yeah, well he's a chess master, a grandmaster. I don't
- 17:19Speaker 1: know what he is, but he's a master of something.
- 17:21Speaker 2: God.
- 17:22Speaker 1: So and they've got a million children, So I hope
- 17:24Speaker 1: they're happy.
- 17:25Speaker 2: It's great. Yeah, And then we have like a little
- 17:28Speaker 2: scene at the end with the family talking about how
- 17:30Speaker 2: they're going to go on another why RV trip.
- 17:34Speaker 1: So it's a spring break for all the regular regular kids,
- 17:38Speaker 1: so not the university kids. And they thought it would
- 17:41Speaker 1: be a great idea to get two RV's and one van, yeah,
- 17:46Speaker 1: and take all the rest of those kids to somewhere
- 17:49Speaker 1: in Missouri to visit with some Christian weirdos who are
- 17:54Speaker 1: also polygamists, and are polygamists based on their biblical belief
- 18:00Speaker 1: that and so they're very curious. The Browns are very curious,
- 18:02Speaker 1: like why you guys aren't Mormon like your regular Christians?
- 18:05Speaker 1: Why are you polygamous? So they want to make this
- 18:07Speaker 1: entire trip so that they can continue to platform and
- 18:11Speaker 1: proselytize polygamy.
- 18:14Speaker 2: And you have to bring all of the children who
- 18:16Speaker 2: don't want.
- 18:17Speaker 1: To go, don't want to go, and nobody wants to go.
- 18:20Speaker 2: You could at least leave the older teenagers. They can
- 18:22Speaker 2: stay home on their.
- 18:23Speaker 1: Own, hang out with their friends.
- 18:25Speaker 2: And stuff like party and the cold As Act.
- 18:27Speaker 1: Does nobody remember No Vu And what a disaster that was.
- 18:32Speaker 1: Our poor girl Mary had like charted the entire thing
- 18:35Speaker 1: and every little attraction they were going to see, and
- 18:37Speaker 1: Cody bitch the entire time. Everybody was upset the entire time.
- 18:42Speaker 1: And now we're going to do it again to go
- 18:43Speaker 1: to Missouri, but this time we're going to make the
- 18:46Speaker 1: kids research their own stops that way they can have fun.
- 18:50Speaker 1: And this was like Christine's idea, I think, where she's like,
- 18:52Speaker 1: I want the kids to like be excited about the
- 18:55Speaker 1: trip that they don't want to go on at all,
- 18:57Speaker 1: that we're dragging them onto. We're gonna go to some
- 18:59Speaker 1: heritage hills in Amarillo, Texas.
- 19:04Speaker 2: And they're going to take four fucking days to drive
- 19:06Speaker 2: to miser and I'm just like, I'm misering. And I
- 19:10Speaker 2: would have been a total moody ass teenager.
- 19:13Speaker 1: Thank God, Yes, I'd be like, I hate you ball.
- 19:15Speaker 1: I would have been making life miserable for my parents for.
- 19:18Speaker 2: Sure, one hundred percent. And I think that's like the
- 19:21Speaker 2: next episode, but we're not gonna get to it because
- 19:23Speaker 2: we're gonna start season twenty soon after this. Yeah, And
- 19:27Speaker 2: then the end of this episode is Janelle climbing a
- 19:31Speaker 2: hill that they call a mountain and she's wearing a
- 19:35Speaker 2: weight vest, and this is supposed to be symbolic for
- 19:38Speaker 2: the fact that she needs to get over her procrastination,
- 19:42Speaker 2: bullshit and the mountain that is herself.
- 19:45Speaker 1: Listen, Beatrice. The weight vest was exactly twenty five pounds,
- 19:49Speaker 1: which is the amount that Janelle has lost. And the
- 19:53Speaker 1: problem with Janelle is that she never looks back to
- 19:56Speaker 1: take stock of everything she has accomplished. And so her
- 19:59Speaker 1: train like, okay, well, then wear this weight then, since
- 20:03Speaker 1: it didn't happen, and since you don't care, and so
- 20:05Speaker 1: he makes her wear the weight vest all the way
- 20:08Speaker 1: to the top of the mountain. She doesn't want to
- 20:09Speaker 1: do it at first. She's like, I really would rather
- 20:12Speaker 1: be doing anything else, Taurus, But she she's a Taurus.
- 20:16Speaker 1: She puts on that vest. She knows the cameras are on.
- 20:18Speaker 1: I would have just kicked him right in the ball
- 20:21Speaker 1: and driven away, honey. I would have been like bye.
- 20:24Speaker 1: But she puts on the vest and she hikes up
- 20:28Speaker 1: to the top of the mountaine. And in her pocket
- 20:31Speaker 1: is that word that she wrote down that he told
- 20:33Speaker 1: her to write down in the cafe, that one word
- 20:36Speaker 1: that signifies what is obstructing her weight loss. And she
- 20:40Speaker 1: takes it out and the word is procrastination. Yeah, very Toriian,
- 20:45Speaker 1: very Taurus. So she rips it up at the top.
- 20:48Speaker 1: I wondered, are you littering? Yes, I mean you're supposed
- 20:52Speaker 1: to leave it on the mountaintop, but like, are you literally?
- 20:54Speaker 1: That's not okay?
- 20:56Speaker 2: Yeah, it's lame.
- 20:57Speaker 1: But anyway, so she makes it to the top, and
- 20:59Speaker 1: that's great. Also a sense of accomplishment, which is intoxicated.
- 21:04Speaker 1: I don't care at all, and I don't like her trainer. Yeah,
- 21:09Speaker 1: I feel like he's stupid.
- 21:10Speaker 2: Well, some people have read it. I was looking back
- 21:13Speaker 2: in the archives, were actually shipping them like I wanted
- 21:17Speaker 2: them to date and stuff.
- 21:18Speaker 1: Now I'm interested, which I'm just like, Okay, I guess
- 21:20Speaker 1: see that a little bit of chemistry. Do you think
- 21:23Speaker 1: he would have liked all that body? Addiyati? I mean,
- 21:29Speaker 1: but she's awful pretty.
- 21:31Speaker 2: She is very pretty.
- 21:32Speaker 1: Yes, yeah, maybe I was like, I.
- 21:35Speaker 2: Kind of like that. It would have been cool to
- 21:36Speaker 2: like have Janelle have like a little affairs.
- 21:38Speaker 1: I would have left.
- 21:39Speaker 2: It would have been so great. It would have been
- 21:40Speaker 2: exactly what Cody deserves. Yes, but alas she climbs a mountain,
- 21:45Speaker 2: she feels accomplished and weren't bored.
- 21:48Speaker 1: Been bored this whole time, making the best out of
- 21:51Speaker 1: it that we can.
- 21:52Speaker 2: But we're born bory. And then we have the preview
- 21:55Speaker 2: where they end up going on that RV trip, and
- 21:58Speaker 2: of course everyone's uptight because they have to spend time
- 22:01Speaker 2: with each other.
- 22:02Speaker 1: Nikes.
- 22:02Speaker 2: This family actually hates each other behind their scenes, but
- 22:05Speaker 2: they're pretending like they're enjoying this trip together. And Garrison
- 22:09Speaker 2: gets all triggered by Isabelle or something and there's a
- 22:12Speaker 2: big old fight and I don't care.
- 22:15Speaker 1: Yeah, I literally don't care.
- 22:16Speaker 2: And then they meet these weirdo Christian polygamists to Missouri,
- 22:21Speaker 2: and I'm sure that's going to be so much fun
- 22:23Speaker 2: to watch when we come back from the Rewines after
- 22:25Speaker 2: season twenty. But that's it.
- 22:28Speaker 1: So you're Christian and you're polygamist, and you're saying it's biblical.
- 22:33Speaker 1: So you're saying it's Old Testament because David had many wives.
- 22:37Speaker 1: It's just all bad. Polygamy is bad. Yeah, Polygamy is
- 22:41Speaker 1: for men. Polygamy is meant to subjugate women and exploit children.
- 22:45Speaker 1: And I'm sick of seeing a bunch of polygamists, I
- 22:48Speaker 1: gotta say. And at least now in season twenty and
- 22:51Speaker 1: season nineteen, season eighteen, Cody is at least admitting it.
- 22:53Speaker 1: And now we have Christine in her book, which by
- 22:56Speaker 1: the way, month of October we're going to be going
- 22:58Speaker 1: through on Patreon. But Chris is admitting that polygamy is
- 23:02Speaker 1: bad and harmful. But I'm just like, I really don't
- 23:05Speaker 1: want to see another sect of polygamy. Platform done, TolC.
- 23:09Speaker 2: But we're gonna, We're gonna and we're probably gonna cover
- 23:13Speaker 2: Seeking Sister Wife, right because that's also.
- 23:16Speaker 1: Talk about that. We have a lot going on right now,
- 23:18Speaker 1: Special Forces. Yeah, Sister Wives season twenty Welcome to Platform,
- 23:24Speaker 1: of which we have probably two to three more episodes, Yeah,
- 23:27Speaker 1: and Seeking Sister Wives.
- 23:29Speaker 2: Yeah, which I mean we have to cover.
- 23:31Speaker 1: Right, Yes, like we have to you kidding about, But
- 23:36Speaker 1: I think we're probably going to cover it after platfeels done.
- 23:39Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 23:39Speaker 1: I think the Gen Pod, so y'all yeah watching and listening,
- 23:43Speaker 1: not you Patreon because you guys get everything else.
- 23:45Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 23:45Speaker 1: I think the Gen Pod definitely wants Seeking Sister Wives, Yeah,
- 23:49Speaker 1: but I don't think we can manage to do all
- 23:52Speaker 1: of that.
- 23:52Speaker 2: Yeah, at the same time, No, it's a lot, Yeah,
- 23:56Speaker 2: because I work and stuff and sorry, yeah, she's busy.
- 24:00Speaker 2: She's cooking a lot, like pleasing her man and stuff.
- 24:04Speaker 2: So like we are gonna cover it. It's just gonna
- 24:07Speaker 2: be delayed.
- 24:08Speaker 1: It's probably going to be delayed until after plathfils.
- 24:11Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 24:12Speaker 1: So if plathfl ends on episode twelve and this week
- 24:15Speaker 1: is episode ten, yeah, then we're just going to do
- 24:18Speaker 1: like a shorty recap of where we are and then
- 24:22Speaker 1: start from there.
- 24:22Speaker 2: Is that we're gonna yeah for Seeking System, so we
- 24:24Speaker 2: will cover it. Keep an eye out for it. It's
- 24:26Speaker 2: just gonna be delayed because we're busy ass bitches.
- 24:28Speaker 1: We gotta going on.
- 24:29Speaker 2: We gotta like going on going on, so stay tuned
- 24:33Speaker 2: for that.
- 24:33Speaker 1: Yes, yeah, Now is there anything else that we need
- 24:36Speaker 1: to say to these beautiful raccoons before we get up
- 24:38Speaker 1: on out of your Beatrice?
- 24:40Speaker 2: Well, if you love our podcast, please I beg you
- 24:43Speaker 2: go to your favorite podcast platform and leave us a
- 24:45Speaker 2: glowing five star review. It costs to nothing and it
- 24:49Speaker 2: really helps us grow the pod and we really appreciate it,
- 24:51Speaker 2: so thank you so much.
- 24:52Speaker 1: Normally we would be back later this week to talk
- 24:55Speaker 1: plathfill but I am going on Vicas, so next week,
- 24:58Speaker 1: we're gonna have Plath, the Sister Wives twenty and also
- 25:02Speaker 1: special Forces. We don't know how we're going to distribute
- 25:05Speaker 1: that throughout the week next week, but we'll let you know,
- 25:07Speaker 1: so stay tuned for that. And until that, please do
- 25:10Speaker 1: not forget that we have nothing but love for you,
- 25:13Speaker 1: and
- 25:14Speaker 2: Please and bye bye y
