- 0:17Speaker 1: Here is my baby, the beautiful and the gorgeous Wow
- 0:22Speaker 1: beatre me. We are here to do a recap of
- 0:29Speaker 1: Love is Blind Season ten, Ohio, Oh Hio. And the
- 0:35Speaker 1: funny thing is that we have talked about covering Love
- 0:38Speaker 1: is Blind since we started our podcast, like four years
- 0:41Speaker 1: ago or yeah, one million years ago, however long it's been.
- 0:44Speaker 1: But this is actually the first time we are doing it,
- 0:47Speaker 1: and I'm exina me too.
- 0:50Speaker 2: It's like finally airing at a time where we don't
- 0:53Speaker 2: have anything else going on, yeah, because every time it's aired,
- 0:56Speaker 2: we've had.
- 0:56Speaker 1: Like plaithfill or so many things yeah.
- 0:58Speaker 2: Or whatever, and so we gotten sidetracked by all the trash.
- 1:02Speaker 2: But now we're in it.
- 1:04Speaker 1: We are committed, honey, We are committed, and so we're
- 1:07Speaker 1: going to be covering the first six episodes, which dropped
- 1:11Speaker 1: last Tuesday. I think the next three are dropping today
- 1:16Speaker 1: or tomorrow, and we'll cover those next week. I think
- 1:19Speaker 1: there's going to be four drops all together, including the reunion.
- 1:23Speaker 1: So for the next month or so, we're going to
- 1:25Speaker 1: be dipping our raccoon talons into the Love is Blind
- 1:30Speaker 1: Ohio pond, and I'm excited. Before we get into the recap, though,
- 1:34Speaker 1: we do have to issue you a disclaimer, and truly
- 1:37Speaker 1: this is going to apply to this recap because.
- 1:40Speaker 2: We ain't shit.
- 1:41Speaker 1: Nope, we are insulting.
- 1:43Speaker 2: We're rude.
- 1:44Speaker 1: If somebody's ugly, I'm probably gonna say it. If somebody
- 1:48Speaker 1: acts ugly, I'm probably going to verbally attack them with
- 1:52Speaker 1: no decorum.
- 1:53Speaker 2: And I don't care. Neither does Beatrice. And so if
- 1:56Speaker 2: you're like one of them.
- 1:58Speaker 1: Sensitive people to hear you, little diaper bitch baby, you
- 2:03Speaker 1: might want to find you that's wow.
- 2:04Speaker 2: Wow.
- 2:05Speaker 1: You might want to find yourself another dumpster. But if
- 2:08Speaker 1: you're ready to meet a whole mess of available singles

- 2:18Speaker 1: to this dumpster.

- 2:58Speaker 1: the analytics because I can't be ours, but whatever you do.
- 3:01Speaker 2: Helps, and so thank you in.
- 3:04Speaker 1: Thank you now. I also want to say just at
- 3:06Speaker 1: the top of this, I watch a lot of Love
- 3:09Speaker 1: is Blind reactors. Wow, and these really yeah, these reactors
- 3:14Speaker 1: go through like seen by scene by see. The are
- 3:18Speaker 1: meticulous and I love that. But I do want to
- 3:22Speaker 1: say that it's not gonna be what this is.
- 3:24Speaker 2: This is gonna be facts. Yeah, we're gonna talk about people,
- 3:28Speaker 2: but it's gonna be vibes.
- 3:29Speaker 1: Yeah, it's gonna be it's gonna be vibes and are
- 3:32Speaker 1: feeling about what we are watching. So if you want
- 3:35Speaker 1: some of that meticulous recapping, I would like to recommend
- 3:39Speaker 1: Roxy says and also Tammy Talks. I think both of
- 3:43Speaker 1: those ladies. Tammy Tammy is talking and she's talking some
- 3:48Speaker 1: shit and I love Tammy. I love Roxy as well,
- 3:50Speaker 1: and they cover each episode one at a time, so
- 3:53Speaker 1: we're gonna be bunching. I know they're working harder.
- 3:56Speaker 2: They are working hard. God, I guess you was a week.
- 4:00Speaker 2: This is what we can do.
- 4:00Speaker 1: So we're doing what we can do. But if you
- 4:02Speaker 1: want more, then go see those beautiful ladies.
- 4:05Speaker 2: And that's great.
- 4:06Speaker 1: Okay, that's great, well, I mean truly yeah, Okay, Well,
- 4:10Speaker 1: so without further ado, let's just talk about Ohio a
- 4:15Speaker 1: little bit, the state, the state, because I don't know
- 4:21Speaker 1: about you or if any of you have noticed it,
- 4:23Speaker 1: but like anytime there's a really bigin on my six
- 4:27Speaker 1: hundred pound life, and they're always like real big of course,
- 4:31Speaker 1: but like they have also bad attitudes. Bad attitude begins. Yeah,
- 4:37Speaker 1: in my experience, they tend.
- 4:39Speaker 2: To come from Ohio. Wow, or Washington, my people Washington
- 4:44Speaker 2: or Ohio.
- 4:44Speaker 1: I don't know what's going on in Ohio.
- 4:46Speaker 2: It's a bunch of white people concentrated in an area, yes,
- 4:49Speaker 2: with bad attitude with meth, Yeah, with a lot of meth.
- 4:53Speaker 1: So like, Ohio is an interesting choice for a place
- 4:57Speaker 1: to like go and do your Love is Blind show, I.
- 4:59Speaker 2: Think there running out of places?
- 5:01Speaker 1: How can you?
- 5:02Speaker 2: I feel like they've done like a bunch of the
- 5:03Speaker 2: major metroplexes, like Houston. It's season ten.
- 5:08Speaker 1: It is fifty states in our beautiful contrail.
- 5:12Speaker 2: So where are you gonna go?
- 5:13Speaker 1: To?
- 5:13Speaker 2: Nebraska?
- 5:14Speaker 1: You go anywhere Heney, go to Rhode Island. You can
- 5:17Speaker 1: go to Montana. I'd love to see some people up
- 5:19Speaker 1: there in Montana.
- 5:20Speaker 2: Montana, some big strap and cowboys.
- 5:22Speaker 1: You know, I love you know, I love a car.
- 5:25Speaker 2: Like, there's like a lot of places you could go.
- 5:27Speaker 1: But like usually with Love is Blind, we're focusing on cities.
- 5:31Speaker 1: We're going to Denver, We're going to Chicago, We're going
- 5:34Speaker 1: to Houston, right but.
- 5:36Speaker 2: With this season, we're just in Ohio.
- 5:39Speaker 1: We'll see what we can get because there's not a
- 5:41Speaker 1: concentration of awesome people in just one city, RIGHTO.
- 5:44Speaker 2: We've got to look at the whole state. We have
- 5:45Speaker 2: to scrounge from every corner of the state.
- 5:48Speaker 1: And scrounge they did. They got in that barrel, God
- 5:52Speaker 1: bless they got in that barrel. They swam to the bottom,
- 5:56Speaker 1: they scraped the muck. They brought it up and said,
- 5:59Speaker 1: these are our contestants.
- 6:01Speaker 2: Love is blind love is mid Can we just.
- 6:05Speaker 1: And I'm I'm gonna be I'm gonna be nice here
- 6:07Speaker 1: are you? Yeah?
- 6:08Speaker 2: Okay, because who am I this thirty year old woman
- 6:11Speaker 2: on the internet.
- 6:14Speaker 1: Like I I'm not going to be super mean, but
- 6:17Speaker 1: I just want to say that.
- 6:19Speaker 2: In terms of the men, there's only one good looking.
- 6:23Speaker 1: Man one one who Vic?
- 6:26Speaker 2: Okay, yeah for sure.
- 6:31Speaker 1: No, Alex is just he's so he's repugnant because of
- 6:34Speaker 1: his attitude. Yeah, if you had a good attitude, if
- 6:36Speaker 1: you had some integrity, I would like Alex. But like
- 6:38Speaker 1: all of these men are so basic.
- 6:41Speaker 2: They're so basic, they have like no real jobs. Well
- 6:46Speaker 2: one that's like he's a professor.
- 6:48Speaker 1: He's a professor, honey dick Vic. The rest of them
- 6:51Speaker 1: are like trying to be chefs or they're selling dumpsters
- 6:54Speaker 1: and that's cool. I'm sure you make many selling commercial numbers.
- 6:56Speaker 1: But I'm just like, but it's not even that, it's
- 6:58Speaker 1: like the audacity of the average male women too. I'm
- 7:04Speaker 1: like that's a fact. That is a fact as well.
- 7:08Speaker 1: Look like with Breezy coming through saying like how stare
- 7:13Speaker 1: these men who are mid ugly? Oh reject me? And
- 7:17Speaker 1: I'm just like I'm just like bree girls, Breezy is
- 7:22Speaker 1: that your name is Breezy, you might want to chill
- 7:25Speaker 1: out a little bit because it's going to draw comparisons
- 7:28Speaker 1: to your own esthetics and you're not going to come
- 7:30Speaker 1: out on the right end of that for sure. But
- 7:33Speaker 1: I was just like, I don't know what I was thinking. Yeah,
- 7:37Speaker 1: I was just like hoping some of these.
- 7:39Speaker 2: People, I'm like, damn, all right, Okay, that's what we
- 7:42Speaker 2: got working with Chop.
- 7:46Speaker 1: Chop.
- 7:50Speaker 2: And let me also issue a.
- 7:52Speaker 1: Warning if you're on Love Is Blind, I just want
- 7:55Speaker 1: to ask you now not to watch this because there
- 7:58Speaker 1: I'm not going to have any big old hypocrite. I'm
- 8:04Speaker 1: an old lady. I have apennions, and so they give
- 8:08Speaker 1: your sensitive Love Is mid move On castmates of Love
- 8:12Speaker 1: Is Mid.
- 8:13Speaker 2: Move On, just get out of here.
- 8:15Speaker 1: So I just wanted to establish that about Ohio.
- 8:18Speaker 2: Well, without further ado, let's introduce all of the characters
- 8:22Speaker 2: on this season, and we don't. We don't get to
- 8:25Speaker 2: meet every single person, Like there were some other kooky
- 8:28Speaker 2: characters on here, but like they weren't even featured in
- 8:32Speaker 2: even the first episode because nobody wanted to date them,
- 8:35Speaker 2: which I think is really funny. So we're just gonna
- 8:38Speaker 2: cover the main people that end up getting paired up
- 8:40Speaker 2: with other people in the pods. To start with the women. Yes,
- 8:46Speaker 2: we have Amber, who is thirty four. She is a
- 8:50Speaker 2: nurse practitioner, and she is an aries.
- 8:52Speaker 1: Oh she has.
- 8:53Speaker 2: A country bumpkin with a kid, and she wants a
- 8:57Speaker 2: family man obviously because she's got a kid. And she
- 9:01Speaker 2: ends up getting engaged. Should I say who they get
- 9:04Speaker 2: engaged to? Or should we wait? Let's wait? All right,
- 9:07Speaker 2: so it's a surprise.
- 9:08Speaker 1: My first impression of Amber at first, I was a
- 9:11Speaker 1: little put off by her because her personality is kind
- 9:14Speaker 1: of quirky. Yeah, but the more we get to know her,
- 9:16Speaker 1: I actually quite like her. She is certainly fucking accomplished
- 9:21Speaker 1: for thirty four being a nurse practitioner. She's got a
- 9:24Speaker 1: master's while juggling having a child.
- 9:27Speaker 2: Yep. My only reservation about.
- 9:30Speaker 1: This is, how are you going to have like a
- 9:32Speaker 1: whole child that hasn't met this person and then you're
- 9:36Speaker 1: gonna introduce them and you're gonna marry him and say, Hi,
- 9:40Speaker 1: this is your new dad.
- 9:41Speaker 2: Well, like she starts off being like, I haven't introduced
- 9:45Speaker 2: any of the men that I've dated previously to my
- 9:48Speaker 2: kid because her kid's only like seven years old or
- 9:50Speaker 2: something like that. So she takes it very seriously. She
- 9:53Speaker 2: doesn't want to introduce a man into her kid's life
- 9:55Speaker 2: if they're just gonna up and leave her for someone chippy.
- 9:58Speaker 2: And that's fine, that's respectful. But then you go on
- 10:00Speaker 2: love and you can think some random dude and you
- 10:05Speaker 2: ultimately go to bank him and Cabo later.
- 10:07Speaker 1: On multiple times with a.
- 10:11Speaker 2: Seapop. We'll get there. We'll get there with telegraphing. So
- 10:14Speaker 2: it's like, it's just a little odd to me, but
- 10:16Speaker 2: I do agree with your sentiments. I think she is
- 10:19Speaker 2: probably one of the most genuine people on this show.
- 10:23Speaker 2: And that's let's not say it a lot. Say Next,
- 10:27Speaker 2: we have another generic white girl, Ashley. I warned you,
- 10:33Speaker 2: Barbie Ashley. Yes, Barbie, she's thirty four. Also, she is
- 10:39Speaker 2: a claims manager whatever that means. And she is a virgo.
- 10:43Speaker 2: She says it herself and her dad said it as well,
- 10:46Speaker 2: that she's got a bad picker. She ignores red Flags
- 10:50Speaker 2: Sugar because we'll see who she gets engaged to. And
- 10:54Speaker 2: she also wants everybody to know that sex is very
- 10:56Speaker 2: important to her. She loves hes. That's how she establishes
- 11:00Speaker 2: her love connection is by fucking a lot. And she
- 11:04Speaker 2: really wants a guy. She really wants a guy with
- 11:07Speaker 2: good hygiene. She wants everybody to know that. That's the
- 11:11Speaker 2: baseline is in Hell.
- 11:12Speaker 1: I know the bars in Hell, but please clean your
- 11:15Speaker 1: dick and if you do that, you're eligible. Yeah.
- 11:18Speaker 2: No, wonder you got a bad picker.
- 11:20Speaker 1: Ean your dick and balls. If you could brush your
- 11:22Speaker 1: teeth every now and again.
- 11:24Speaker 2: We're good. Yeah. Then next we have another generic white girl,
- 11:29Speaker 2: Brianna aka Breezy. She's also thirty four. She is a
- 11:34Speaker 2: senior merchant, whatever the fuck that means. And she is
- 11:37Speaker 2: a leo, which is kind of funny because I'm a
- 11:39Speaker 2: leo just like you. Yeah, And she's settled a lot
- 11:44Speaker 2: in the past for a lot of medium ugly guys
- 11:46Speaker 2: and they left her and she just doesn't understand why
- 11:48Speaker 2: they would have left her because they're all medium ugly, Like,
- 11:51Speaker 2: I've settled for you, you ugly fucking piece of shit. So
- 11:54Speaker 2: do she stay with me? What's wrong with me?
- 11:58Speaker 1: Right?
- 11:58Speaker 2: And now she's on love.
- 12:00Speaker 1: There's a lot that's wrong with you, and we're going
- 12:02Speaker 1: to get into it.
- 12:03Speaker 2: You're annoying. Next, we have Brittany and she's thirty three.
- 12:08Speaker 2: I guess there was two Brittany's on this season, but
- 12:11Speaker 2: we didn't get to see the other one because she
- 12:12Speaker 2: wasn't relevant. So this is Brittany. W she's thirty three.
- 12:15Speaker 2: She's a registered nurse, so she's accomplished, and she's an
- 12:18Speaker 2: Aquarius and apparently from her previous relationship, it broke her
- 12:24Speaker 2: heart so bad that she took a vow of celibacy. Wow,
- 12:28Speaker 2: she's closing that Poonnanni up. And she wants a hard
- 12:32Speaker 2: working man that she can open her legs. No that yeah,
- 12:39Speaker 2: so that's why she's on Love Is Blind. Sorry. Next,
- 12:44Speaker 2: we have Christine who's thirty one. She's the speech language pathologist,
- 12:51Speaker 2: so also an accomplished woman, and she is a Scorpio
- 12:55Speaker 2: so sexy. Yeah, and she is Christian. She's been praying
- 12:59Speaker 2: for her and she wants like the quintessential, like super
- 13:05Speaker 2: Bowl house. She wants everybody to party at her home,
- 13:08Speaker 2: and she wants everybody to love everybody. She loves to
- 13:12Speaker 2: come over and hang out and have drinks and hang
- 13:13Speaker 2: out with her mean and she wants to be a
- 13:16Speaker 2: dried wife.
- 13:16Speaker 1: Basically, Okay.
- 13:18Speaker 2: And then we have Emma, who I think is the
- 13:20Speaker 2: youngest girl that we've had here. She is twenty eight.
- 13:25Speaker 2: She is in retail merchandising aka she works at like
- 13:29Speaker 2: the Tjmax and she is also in airees. She has
- 13:33Speaker 2: an interest. She's got probably the most interesting backstory. So
- 13:36Speaker 2: she was adopted from China at the age of three.
- 13:39Speaker 2: She has no idea who her birth family is whatsoever.
- 13:43Speaker 2: She's also had over ten surgeries, I think just on
- 13:47Speaker 2: her arm for her birthmarks that she has. She's got
- 13:50Speaker 2: birthmarks all over her body and apparently they have a
- 13:54Speaker 2: very high risk of becoming melanoma, so she's had to
- 13:56Speaker 2: have them all removed. So she's got a ton of
- 13:58Speaker 2: scars emotion.
- 14:00Speaker 1: And physically emotionally to be sure.
- 14:02Speaker 2: Yeah, and so she's vulnerable and she wants a man
- 14:05Speaker 2: who will love her inside and out. Sure. Then we
- 14:09Speaker 2: have Jessica, who's the oldest one.
- 14:13Speaker 1: She's the oldest one.
- 14:14Speaker 2: Yeah, she's thirty nine. She is an infectious disease doctor,
- 14:18Speaker 2: which I'm just like accomplished women up and down except
- 14:21Speaker 2: for work. For real, all these men now, and I'm
- 14:23Speaker 2: looking at all these I know, job titles make these
- 14:26Speaker 2: men are booty yeap there, but.
- 14:28Speaker 1: Just what I'm saying, that's what I am saying.
- 14:31Speaker 2: So anyway, Jessica thirty nine, infectious disease doctor. She is
- 14:34Speaker 2: a Libra and she is recently divorced. Apparently she had
- 14:40Speaker 2: like a bad breakup or something. She also, I read
- 14:42Speaker 2: online has missophonia, so.
- 14:44Speaker 1: You can really, oh, okay, interesting, And then we have
- 14:47Speaker 1: the last two. You didn't mention her eyelashes. Oh, I
- 14:50Speaker 1: just want to come right out that she does that.
- 14:52Speaker 1: She's one of those women who wear them all the time.
- 14:56Speaker 1: And I just want to put out a public service
- 14:59Speaker 1: announcement and give women permission to put down the lashes.
- 15:04Speaker 1: It's it's time to put down the lashes now. Some
- 15:06Speaker 1: of you, you don't have any eyelashes, and I get it.
- 15:08Speaker 1: And you try the mis scaret and I still can't
- 15:10Speaker 1: see them, and I get it. And maybe you want
- 15:12Speaker 1: to go to a lash tech and that's fine. But
- 15:13Speaker 1: like these big lashes that people can identify as fake ass,
- 15:19Speaker 1: cheap ass Walgreens lashes are doing nobody, I mean, any favors.
- 15:24Speaker 2: And you're talking you're talking.
- 15:25Speaker 1: About an infectious disease doctor accomplished. You make baseline pretty
- 15:32Speaker 1: why are we doing the eyelashes? And the makeup is
- 15:35Speaker 1: the makeup, but I mean, just I don't get it.
- 15:37Speaker 2: I don't get it. I want it to stop.
- 15:39Speaker 1: We go to we go to Cancun or Cabo or
- 15:42Speaker 1: wherever we're going, and she's still clash.
- 15:45Speaker 2: I'm like, aren't you hot? Aren't they peeping?
- 15:48Speaker 1: But people have their crutches, Yep, they do, and this
- 15:51Speaker 1: is her crutch, yes, or eyelashes. It's just preposterous and
- 15:57Speaker 1: it's absurd.
- 15:58Speaker 2: It is absurd, And I'm like, why are you spending
- 16:00Speaker 2: money on like the falsees from Walgreens? Like why don't
- 16:03Speaker 2: you go and get like lash extensions where they like
- 16:06Speaker 2: surgically put in one little lash at a time and
- 16:09Speaker 2: it makes it look natural, full and beautiful. You could
- 16:12Speaker 2: do that, you got money, Yeah, but no, we're gonna
- 16:14Speaker 2: do a Walgreens ones. Okay, you make your choices. So
- 16:17Speaker 2: the last two girls that we have that we'll see
- 16:19Speaker 2: throughout these episodes, we have Kia and Tyler's Yeah, and
- 16:24Speaker 2: neither one of these get engaged. We'll get to it
- 16:26Speaker 2: later by the man that they were all hung up on.
- 16:31Speaker 2: But Kia is thirty one. She's a marketing director, she's
- 16:34Speaker 2: a Leo, which makes sense. And then we have Tyler
- 16:37Speaker 2: who's thirty three, a sales leader and she's a Gemini,
- 16:42Speaker 2: which also makes sense.
- 16:43Speaker 1: That does make sense because Tyler stays tripping.
- 16:47Speaker 2: Uh huh the entire time pretty much. And then we
- 16:51Speaker 2: have the mid ass, booty ass hobo guys that they've
- 16:56Speaker 2: picked up across the state of Io. So we have
- 17:01Speaker 2: Alex h who's thirty one. He's in financial sales. I see, yeah, whatever,
- 17:07Speaker 2: I think these are all fake ass titles.
- 17:09Speaker 1: I do as well, because he refers to himself as
- 17:11Speaker 1: a soccer coach.
- 17:12Speaker 2: Yeah, so it's.
- 17:13Speaker 1: Probably like teaching soccer to some little league or whatever,
- 17:17Speaker 1: probably for.
- 17:18Speaker 2: Like fifteen dollars an hour. And he's a piscs which
- 17:21Speaker 2: is kind of surprising to me. But at the same time,
- 17:24Speaker 2: Serial Killer vibes toxic pisce SCEs totally. And he was
- 17:29Speaker 2: drafted by Minnesota United for soccer or something, and he
- 17:34Speaker 2: wants everybody to know that he was like in the
- 17:35Speaker 2: top five. He was in the top five pick. He
- 17:38Speaker 2: was going to be a professional soccer player, but then
- 17:41Speaker 2: his pro sports career was cut short because he fucked
- 17:45Speaker 2: up his knee or something. He had to have four
- 17:47Speaker 2: knee surgeries, which is terrible. Yes, okay, I get it.
- 17:51Speaker 2: I understand for men, especially who are like big into
- 17:53Speaker 2: sports and stuff, like when you can't go and live
- 17:56Speaker 2: your dreams as a football player or soccer player or
- 17:58Speaker 2: whatever and you get in this way and you can't
- 18:01Speaker 2: go on to have a career, I get it. But
- 18:04Speaker 2: Alex mm hmm is the type of guy that will
- 18:07Speaker 2: hold on to that until he dies. He's got nothing else,
- 18:11Speaker 2: nothing else. He peaked in college, yep, he peaked when
- 18:14Speaker 2: he was at the top of his game as a
- 18:16Speaker 2: soccer player, which was years ago, and he cannot get
- 18:19Speaker 2: over it. And he still sees himself through the lens
- 18:22Speaker 2: of a successful athlete. He's talking about the kind of
- 18:26Speaker 2: women that successful athletes tend to draw, and you know,
- 18:30Speaker 2: and then these athletes find themselves at thirty five and
- 18:33Speaker 2: they look around at the women that they committed to
- 18:36Speaker 2: and they're like, oh, she's older too, and I'm like, oh,
- 18:38Speaker 2: I don't really want that, and I'm gonna go get
- 18:40Speaker 2: a younger version. Like he's talking like this about this
- 18:44Speaker 2: kind of stuff with Ashley, yep, and Ashley is so
- 18:48Speaker 2: attracted to him. Ashley is so attracted to him, and
- 18:52Speaker 2: I'm like, literally, why he's so insecure. He's so immature,
- 18:58Speaker 2: He's going to continue to lose hair, He's going to
- 19:01Speaker 2: become more.
- 19:01Speaker 1: And more insecure. He's just about banging the backs out
- 19:04Speaker 1: of bitches.
- 19:05Speaker 2: Yep, And you're stupid.
- 19:06Speaker 1: If you go with him. I just couldn't stand him well.
- 19:10Speaker 2: And like, he's also one of those white guys that
- 19:12Speaker 2: has tribal tattoos. So I'm just like, please get out
- 19:16Speaker 2: of here. If you have to talk about your soccer career,
- 19:19Speaker 2: your failed soccer career one more time, I'm gonna screak.
- 19:22Speaker 1: Oh David Beckham, wasn't that good?
- 19:23Speaker 2: Oh my god?
- 19:24Speaker 1: Oh okay, David Beckham, wasn't that good?
- 19:26Speaker 2: But you're great. You were great. I can get a
- 19:28Speaker 2: job anywhere.
- 19:29Speaker 1: I'm still good.
- 19:29Speaker 2: Yeah, okay. Next, we have Chris, who's thirty three short stack. Yes,
- 19:34Speaker 2: military man. He's an account executive at the Bank of
- 19:39Speaker 2: America or something. He's also a pisces. He's a military vet.
- 19:43Speaker 2: He got drafted to not drafted, he got stationed to Vietnam. Yeah,
- 19:50Speaker 2: he gets stationed in Kuwait for like nine months or something.
- 19:54Speaker 2: He's an ex military dude. He's short.
- 19:57Speaker 1: He's kind of a Napoleon, and so therefore he's camp
- 20:00Speaker 1: insating like a lot of short men do. Now, some
- 20:02Speaker 1: short kings don't do that. Some short kings are like what,
- 20:05Speaker 1: I'm sure, but I got it all going on and
- 20:07Speaker 1: we buy it. But this Chris guy, he's compensating a
- 20:11Speaker 1: little bit. He's taken ice plunges every morning. I'm like
- 20:15Speaker 1: a triathlete, bitch, Like I'm an athlete. Like he really
- 20:18Speaker 1: needs you to know, like how plugged into fitness and
- 20:22Speaker 1: goals he is. He's tiresome. Yes, he's annoying, and he's little.
- 20:26Speaker 1: He is, Oh god, bless we love that.
- 20:33Speaker 2: It's fine. And then we have Connor, another generic white guy.
- 20:37Speaker 2: He's thirty two. He's an account management also a pisces.
- 20:41Speaker 2: There's a lot of psycho pisces men over here, and
- 20:45Speaker 2: Connor is boring to me. I'm like, I mean, every
- 20:48Speaker 2: time I see him, I forget.
- 20:50Speaker 1: I'm like, I don't even see him, Like what am
- 20:53Speaker 1: I looking at?
- 20:53Speaker 2: Generic?
- 20:54Speaker 1: Very very generic, super blessed. I'm sure there's something in there.
- 20:59Speaker 1: It's probably rage, mayo, mayonnaise, mayonnaise and overconfidence. But like, yeah,
- 21:06Speaker 1: he's turbo boring and for some reason, a couple of
- 21:10Speaker 1: the chicks really like him and he's their number one,
- 21:13Speaker 1: And I'm like, wow, why what's going on in this
- 21:17Speaker 1: guy over here across the glass from you? Is like
- 21:20Speaker 1: something you think is so fantastic. It's not love is Mid,
- 21:24Speaker 1: That's all I'm saying.
- 21:25Speaker 2: Next we have DeVante, speaking of Mid, who's thirty two.
- 21:30Speaker 2: He's a lone officer.
- 21:31Speaker 1: This man is not attractive.
- 21:33Speaker 2: He's a sagittarian.
- 21:34Speaker 1: I'm just gonna say that because as we go along
- 21:37Speaker 1: we can all comment on the absolute audacity this man
- 21:41Speaker 1: has for his ultimate partner, Like this man is.
- 21:46Speaker 2: Girl.
- 21:47Speaker 1: Sorry.
- 21:47Speaker 2: Then we have Jordan who's thirty four. He's also an
- 21:51Speaker 2: account executive of something at the Lanchan sellers exactly.
- 21:58Speaker 1: Right.
- 21:59Speaker 2: And he's also a which is And he's also another
- 22:03Speaker 2: like generic white guy. He's a little bit more husky.
- 22:06Speaker 2: He's got like a sense of humor, a little bit
- 22:08Speaker 2: of a dad bob bit.
- 22:10Speaker 1: He does have more of a personality than I think
- 22:13Speaker 1: anybody else except maybe Vic.
- 22:15Speaker 2: Yeah, he does have a little bit more of a personality.
- 22:17Speaker 2: He seems a little bit more genuine, and it matches
- 22:19Speaker 2: what the person he ends up pairing up with. But
- 22:22Speaker 2: we'll see how their relationship will to millions of lasting.
- 22:26Speaker 2: He also loves dogs, and that's pretty wow shocking. Then
- 22:31Speaker 2: we have Kevon or Kevin however you pronounce it. He's
- 22:36Speaker 2: thirty two. He's a realtor. He's a scorpio. He's also
- 22:39Speaker 2: a fucking player ass bitch, and he dates two different people,
- 22:44Speaker 2: but that ends up with nobody because.
- 22:46Speaker 1: He really a player ass bitch. I think I'm saying
- 22:48Speaker 1: he is a TMU Will Smith. He is the absolute
- 22:54Speaker 1: definition of basic for sure. Yea. He calls himself a
- 22:58Speaker 1: good communicator. He can not complete a sentence that isn't
- 23:02Speaker 1: some sort of like, oh my god, you're so amazing,
- 23:04Speaker 1: You're phenomenal, You're a floor in bloom and I just really,
- 23:08Speaker 1: oh god, he's really the worst cringe.
- 23:11Speaker 2: Yes. Then we have Mike, who's thirty. He's a sales
- 23:16Speaker 2: manager at the office depot and he.
- 23:19Speaker 1: Is at the Caesars Pizza.
- 23:22Speaker 2: He's a Taurus. And actually I fucked this up with
- 23:24Speaker 2: the other generic white guy at the beginning. Alex. He's
- 23:28Speaker 2: the one that left New Jersey Mike.
- 23:30Speaker 1: Oh okay, he's the one that Jersey Mike's Jersey Mike
- 23:33Speaker 1: Jersey Mike.
- 23:33Speaker 2: Okay, Jersey. Mike left New Jersey to go to beautiful
- 23:38Speaker 2: Ohio for the opportunities because he probably couldn't get a job.
- 23:42Speaker 2: He seems nice enough, but then he gets paired with
- 23:45Speaker 2: somebody that I'm just like, she don't even like him,
- 23:49Speaker 2: she just wants to go to Cabo, and it kind
- 23:51Speaker 2: of upset me because I feel like he probably would
- 23:53Speaker 2: have gotten along with some of the other girls. I
- 23:56Speaker 2: don't know. Then we have Steven, who's thirty two. He's
- 24:01Speaker 2: in finance or something. He's also a sagittarius and he's
- 24:04Speaker 2: a fucking freak. He's a weirdo. Yeah, he doesn't get
- 24:08Speaker 2: engaged to anybody, shocker because he's kind of a perv.
- 24:14Speaker 1: Well, he gives everybody the eck and full transparency. There
- 24:18Speaker 1: are some allegations going around the internet about Stephen being
- 24:23Speaker 1: sexually inappropriate with some of his previous partners. He has
- 24:27Speaker 1: sent cease and assists to those partners, and I think
- 24:31Speaker 1: to other people who are talking about it, we are
- 24:33Speaker 1: just some fat raccoons with wigs on. We ain an
- 24:36Speaker 1: be sitting here talking about Steven other than to say
- 24:38Speaker 1: he sucks.
- 24:39Speaker 2: He's a weirdo.
- 24:40Speaker 1: Yeah, I'm glad we only saw him for two episodes
- 24:43Speaker 1: me too.
- 24:43Speaker 2: He was bizarre and then last but certainly not Lease.
- 24:46Speaker 2: We have Big Dick Vick, who's thirty four. He's a
- 24:50Speaker 2: professor in public policy, so he is educated. He's intelligent.
- 24:54Speaker 2: He's six foot three. He's also a virgo. So I'm
- 24:58Speaker 2: just like E. When I was straight, I'd be like, Heyvig.
- 25:02Speaker 2: He's got long, beautiful hair. He seems really cool. He's
- 25:07Speaker 2: also a Christian. I think he seems very chill. He's like,
- 25:11Speaker 2: not here for the drama. I think he's probably the
- 25:14Speaker 2: only man here that's actually here for love.
- 25:16Speaker 1: I think, so. I hope it works out. We'll see
- 25:19Speaker 1: what happens. But I liked Fix so much.
- 25:21Speaker 2: I liked absolute favorite. He's also originally from like the
- 25:24Speaker 2: Bronx or something, and then made it his way to
- 25:27Speaker 2: Ohio for some reason, and he's teaching at one of
- 25:30Speaker 2: the colleges there, so I think he's cool. He's probably
- 25:33Speaker 2: my favorite. Dude. Agreed, all right, so let's get into
- 25:36Speaker 2: the episodes.
- 25:36Speaker 1: Okay, starting with episode one, I would imagine.
- 25:39Speaker 2: Yes, episode one, so we got introduced to all of
- 25:41Speaker 2: the characters. That was pretty much the majority of the episode.
- 25:45Speaker 2: And then we start off in the Pods and this
- 25:47Speaker 2: is like the only time we see Vanessa and Nick
- 25:50Speaker 2: Lache for like six episodes. They're like not in the
- 25:53Speaker 2: show after this, But we start dating around and everyone
- 25:58Speaker 2: is super superficial, very generic. The only thing that I
- 26:03Speaker 2: thought was interesting was the conversations between Emma and Steven,
- 26:08Speaker 2: because this is where we see Stephen for the creepo
- 26:12Speaker 2: weirdo that he actually is. So Emma's like torn between
- 26:18Speaker 2: the generic white dudes Stephen Connor and Mike. And then
- 26:22Speaker 2: she has a conversation with Stephen where she's like opening
- 26:25Speaker 2: up about her scars, which is really traumatic and terrible.
- 26:28Speaker 2: She's opening up about being adopted and like not knowing
- 26:31Speaker 2: her birth family and blah blah blah, and Steven responds
- 26:36Speaker 2: by asking her about her first kiss and when she
- 26:39Speaker 2: lost her virginity, like a total fucking weirdo.
- 26:43Speaker 1: Yeah, he was very strange. That whole encounter was vibrationally off,
- 26:50Speaker 1: and you could tell that Emma was feeling that from him,
- 26:53Speaker 1: like she answered some of his inappropriate questions, which I
- 26:57Speaker 1: thought was interesting and kind of a mark of a
- 26:59Speaker 1: younger woman who like doesn't know how to navigate a
- 27:02Speaker 1: clearly toxic man. Hopefully she learns over time, but ultimately
- 27:06Speaker 1: she did tell him like, I don't really like this
- 27:08Speaker 1: conversation and I don't really want to talk about this, But
- 27:10Speaker 1: what I would like to comment on is Emma. Generally,
- 27:14Speaker 1: as she was featured in episode one, but also episode two,
- 27:17Speaker 1: it was like really Emma heavy.
- 27:20Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 27:20Speaker 1: Every single conversation that Emma had with Mike and then
- 27:25Speaker 1: with Connor and Steven about her childhood, Like when we
- 27:29Speaker 1: started out learning about her story, I was intrigued. I
- 27:32Speaker 1: was like, Oh, this is very interesting and how she
- 27:36Speaker 1: came through her surgeries and how that affected her. And
- 27:39Speaker 1: she kind of talks to Stephen a little bit about
- 27:42Speaker 1: being bullied and not really having intimate relationships with people
- 27:45Speaker 1: because of how they treated her. So when she was
- 27:48Speaker 1: initially sharing with us her background, I was like, Oh,
- 27:51Speaker 1: this is so interesting, what an interesting character she is.
- 27:54Speaker 1: But then she talked about it again with the next guy,
- 27:58Speaker 1: and then she talked about it again with the next
- 28:00Speaker 1: and she seems to need to always talk about it,
- 28:04Speaker 1: and I understand it because it's clearly tied to her identity.
- 28:09Speaker 1: But at the end of like episode two, I was like,
- 28:14Speaker 1: stop talking about that. So much like stop making that
- 28:18Speaker 1: who it is that you are. You're a beautiful young woman,
- 28:21Speaker 1: you have a lot going for you. There's other things
- 28:23Speaker 1: happening in your life besides that. I just felt like
- 28:25Speaker 1: a lot of trauma dumping. Yeah, and I know we're
- 28:28Speaker 1: like we're in a speed race to marriage, but it
- 28:31Speaker 1: just I was exhausted.
- 28:32Speaker 2: I was over it.
- 28:33Speaker 1: I'm like, Emma, go away, I'm sorry, God bless go
- 28:36Speaker 1: away though.
- 28:37Speaker 2: Well, and to me, it was like kind of cringe
- 28:39Speaker 2: because I think in episode one, she was talking about
- 28:41Speaker 2: how like her previous relationship, like the guy like was
- 28:45Speaker 2: not emotionally available for her, and so anytime she would
- 28:48Speaker 2: try to have like serious or deep conversations with him,
- 28:52Speaker 2: like he would just like laugh it off, or he
- 28:53Speaker 2: would just not care, or he would give her like
- 28:55Speaker 2: dumb responses similar to what Stephen gave her in the Pods.
- 29:00Speaker 2: But then she's proceeding to tell this story to every
- 29:02Speaker 2: dude almost like for me, the vibe was she was
- 29:06Speaker 2: trying to test them, trying to see how they would
- 29:08Speaker 2: react to it. And I'm just like, girl, chill, this
- 29:10Speaker 2: is love is blind on Netflix. You're gonna pod, You're
- 29:13Speaker 2: gonna get married or get engaged to some dude in
- 29:16Speaker 2: like six days, like it's not we don't need to
- 29:19Speaker 2: do this.
- 29:20Speaker 1: Over and over and over and over again, and sometimes
- 29:22Speaker 1: with the same dudes. Yeah, we're talking about it again.
- 29:25Speaker 1: And then there was the other theme with Emma, and
- 29:27Speaker 1: I'm focusing on it because it was such a big
- 29:30Speaker 1: part of episode one and two.
- 29:32Speaker 2: But it was the.
- 29:34Speaker 1: Subject of children and her not knowing whether she wants
- 29:38Speaker 1: to have kids, right, and she was very transparent, which
- 29:42Speaker 1: I think you need to be with her potential partners,
- 29:45Speaker 1: these three guys, and she's like, you know, I'm not
- 29:47Speaker 1: sure if I want to be a kid. I mean,
- 29:49Speaker 1: if I want to if I want to have a kid.
- 29:52Speaker 1: I don't really know my own personal medical history. Obviously
- 29:56Speaker 1: I've had some medical issues. I don't know what I
- 29:58Speaker 1: would pass down to another kid. I'm just not quite
- 30:00Speaker 1: sure that I want children. And that became kind of
- 30:04Speaker 1: a feature conversation, specifically with Mike, because every time we
- 30:09Speaker 1: saw them together, he's like, yeah, but I really I
- 30:11Speaker 1: want a whole football team worth of kids. I want
- 30:14Speaker 1: multiple children. My dream is to be a dad.
- 30:16Speaker 2: That's all they want.
- 30:18Speaker 1: For me, Mike. If that's my main goal, and I
- 30:22Speaker 1: meet Emma in the Pods and she tells me, yeah,
- 30:24Speaker 1: I don't really think I want to have children, Like
- 30:26Speaker 1: that's a non starter. We don't need to keep talking. Yeah,
- 30:29Speaker 1: we seem like a lovely person and everything, but I
- 30:31Speaker 1: need to find somebody who's more aligned with my core values.
- 30:34Speaker 2: Yea. But for whatever.
- 30:35Speaker 1: Reason, Mike persists in courting Emma, and Emma continues to
- 30:40Speaker 1: talk about how she doesn't necessarily want to be a mom.
- 30:43Speaker 1: It was just like weird to me, Like Mike, she
- 30:46Speaker 1: said she didn't want to Why are you trying to
- 30:48Speaker 1: coerce her into wanting to be a mom?
- 30:50Speaker 2: Didn't you find that strange? Yeah, I was a little odd.
- 30:53Speaker 2: And Connor was the same way. Like Connor was very
- 30:55Speaker 2: but he was more expressive and like this is a
- 30:58Speaker 2: hard boundary, Like this is why I want to find
- 31:01Speaker 2: a woman because I want to have children with her.
- 31:03Speaker 2: So if you're not gonna want to have kids, maybe
- 31:05Speaker 2: we're not the right people for each other or something
- 31:08Speaker 2: like that. But Mike was a little bit pushy. Maybe
- 31:10Speaker 2: it's because he wanted to go to Cobo too, Maybe
- 31:12Speaker 2: because nobody else was dating Mike and Emma was the
- 31:15Speaker 2: only one expressing any kind of interest to him, and
- 31:18Speaker 2: so maybe both Emma and Mike are using each other
- 31:21Speaker 2: for a free trip to Cobbo.
- 31:22Speaker 1: Maybe I wouldn't put it past either of them.
- 31:24Speaker 2: Yeah, And then also in episode one, we have the
- 31:28Speaker 2: beginning of the love triangle between Kavon and Kea and Tyler,
- 31:33Speaker 2: and this starts ramping up in future episodes, but like
- 31:37Speaker 2: already in the beginning, you can tell this is why
- 31:39Speaker 2: I think Kavon's kind of a player, because he was
- 31:41Speaker 2: totally playing the field with both Kia and Tyler. To
- 31:46Speaker 2: his credit, he was upfront about that. He was like,
- 31:50Speaker 2: sort of, I'm interested in two women. But then he
- 31:53Speaker 2: would go on these like weird monologues about each of
- 31:58Speaker 2: them at the same time, and you talk about how final,
- 32:00Speaker 2: nominal and amazing they are. You're superstar, god right, You're
- 32:07Speaker 2: so amazing. You're a flower that blooms. You're a beautiful
- 32:09Speaker 2: and amazing love it, I love you whatever. Like he's
- 32:12Speaker 2: so weird with how he's trying to I don't even
- 32:16Speaker 2: know what the word is.
- 32:17Speaker 1: I don't think he knows how to make deeper connections.
- 32:20Speaker 1: I think he thinks he's being romantic, and all he's
- 32:23Speaker 1: really doing is performing an approximation of a connection. He
- 32:27Speaker 1: does not know how to communicate, He does not know
- 32:29Speaker 1: what he wants. I don't think he's a player. I
- 32:32Speaker 1: think he is wishywashy. I think he's like, well, I
- 32:35Speaker 1: really don't know. I kind of like Tyler because of
- 32:38Speaker 1: all this stuff, and I like Kiya because she seems
- 32:40Speaker 1: chilling cool. And so he keeps vacillating back and forth
- 32:45Speaker 1: between these two women, and I'm just like a lot
- 32:48Speaker 1: of us women have met guys like this who just
- 32:51Speaker 1: can't be pinned down or can't make a commitment. Couldn't
- 32:54Speaker 1: be me, though, No, couldn't be me.
- 32:56Speaker 2: They all want to be They were ready to marry me.
- 32:58Speaker 2: Let me tell youself, she's a superstar.
- 33:00Speaker 1: I'm just saying, like, we've all met some guy like this,
- 33:02Speaker 1: and I'm just like, cut the shit already for real
- 33:05Speaker 1: and tell us how you really feel and who you
- 33:07Speaker 1: really like. But I don't think he even knew, which
- 33:10Speaker 1: is why he continued to tell both of these women
- 33:13Speaker 1: what he thought they wanted to hear.
- 33:14Speaker 2: Yes, so that way he could just keep him on
- 33:16Speaker 2: a string until maybe he would figure it out eventually.
- 33:20Speaker 2: And then at the end of episode one, we have
- 33:22Speaker 2: Vic proposing to Christine already. So even though it was
- 33:25Speaker 2: a very Emma heavy episode, Christine and Vic ended up
- 33:29Speaker 2: developing a pretty deep connection with each other, and so
- 33:32Speaker 2: he proposed to her. She accepted, obviously, and then that
- 33:35Speaker 2: gets us into episode two.
- 33:37Speaker 1: Did Christine pray for him or pray for them? I
- 33:40Speaker 1: think there was a scene.
- 33:41Speaker 2: Where they did right before the proposal. Yeah, that was
- 33:44Speaker 2: that was pretty. She offered the prayer and he was like, absolutely,
- 33:47Speaker 2: so she prayed, then he proposed, and then the next
- 33:50Speaker 2: episode they meet each other for the first time, and
- 33:52Speaker 2: this was so sweet. I was like, y'all got some
- 33:55Speaker 2: chemistry between you. They went up to each other all
- 33:58Speaker 2: slow and sol and she's looking hot in her little
- 34:02Speaker 2: black drey He's looking all dapper. He's a tall drink
- 34:06Speaker 2: of water. Yes, and Christine's is like beautiful blonde and
- 34:10Speaker 2: he's just gorgeous. I don't know both of them. I am like, yes,
- 34:14Speaker 2: I could see it. So they make out and they're
- 34:17Speaker 2: happy with each other. He says she's beautiful. She's like,
- 34:20Speaker 2: oh my god, you're so handsome. And then of course
- 34:22Speaker 2: they have to talk about like race a little bit,
- 34:24Speaker 2: so he asks her. I think he was the one
- 34:27Speaker 2: that asked her like, are you okay?
- 34:28Speaker 1: Well, I don't know that we established that Vick was
- 34:30Speaker 1: African American and she is white. I don't know if
- 34:32Speaker 1: we said that. Well you saw the picture. But yeah,
- 34:36Speaker 1: so that's an issue, and she does ask about it.
- 34:38Speaker 1: Is that in the preview though?
- 34:40Speaker 2: The preview, for well, when they first met each other,
- 34:43Speaker 2: they did have a little conversation, like when they sat
- 34:45Speaker 2: on the couch after making out a little bit. I
- 34:48Speaker 2: think he was the one that asked her like, are
- 34:50Speaker 2: you okay? And she's like, of course, I've dated all
- 34:53Speaker 2: colors of the rainbow. That's right.
- 34:55Speaker 1: They did have sort of an initial conversation, which is
- 34:58Speaker 1: entirely appropriate. For sure, let's have this conversation. I want
- 35:02Speaker 1: to see this conversation on my screen. These are the
- 35:05Speaker 1: issues that you're going to have to navigate. Let's not
- 35:07Speaker 1: pretend that they're not happening. Like DeVante, for it's not
- 35:10Speaker 1: pretending that he's having a crisis of identity. And so
- 35:13Speaker 1: the fact that they address it is awesome. And then
- 35:16Speaker 1: I think they continue to have a conversation because we
- 35:18Speaker 1: see it in the preview.
- 35:19Speaker 2: Yeah, and I think they have more of a conversation
- 35:21Speaker 2: when they go meet the families too, it seems like
- 35:23Speaker 2: because I think Christine in particular is like worried about
- 35:27Speaker 2: whether or not he's going to be okay with like
- 35:29Speaker 2: having a white wife and what that would mean and
- 35:33Speaker 2: blah blah blah.
- 35:34Speaker 1: So that they're going to raise children, and so the
- 35:36Speaker 1: culture and the identity and all of that comes into place.
- 35:39Speaker 1: So we have to have these conversations, of course, But
- 35:41Speaker 1: like at first Blush, when they first meet, the chemistry
- 35:45Speaker 1: is there.
- 35:46Speaker 2: The vibes are vibing.
- 35:48Speaker 1: They are into it, and I love thee love it.
- 35:51Speaker 2: I was actually really happy, and I was watching it
- 35:54Speaker 2: with your daughter, my wife, and we were both like, ooh,
- 35:57Speaker 2: theyre's spicy. Let's watch more of them. But of course
- 36:00Speaker 2: we're not gonna get.
- 36:01Speaker 1: No, they don't even go to Cabo. We'll talk about it,
- 36:04Speaker 1: we will talk about it.
- 36:05Speaker 2: Also, what happened in episode two, we have Emma who
- 36:07Speaker 2: is trying to figure out which generic white guy she
- 36:12Speaker 2: is crushing on the most, and she decided she decided.
- 36:16Speaker 1: Are there any white guys that are not generic to
- 36:18Speaker 1: in this Love is mid No, they're all generic too,
- 36:23Speaker 1: because keep saying yeah, yeah, I mean I think I
- 36:27Speaker 1: think I think DeVante is a generic mixed.
- 36:30Speaker 2: Guy, totally generic guy in general.
- 36:33Speaker 1: Literally Vic is the only non generic guy and maybe
- 36:37Speaker 1: Jordan with the seapap Jordan.
- 36:44Speaker 2: But yeah, so Emma wants to focus on two generic
- 36:47Speaker 2: white guys Jersey, Mike and Connor, and so she's like
- 36:51Speaker 2: talking with them, and Connor seems like totally not into
- 36:54Speaker 2: her really because he's also talking to Breezy at the
- 36:58Speaker 2: same time and he's developing a connection with her. Mike
- 37:02Speaker 2: has no other prospects other than Emma, so of course
- 37:06Speaker 2: he's putting all of his eggs in that basket.
- 37:08Speaker 1: And Emma prefers Connor interestingly, even though Connor's not giving
- 37:13Speaker 1: her a lot except for respect. He's definitely respectful versus
- 37:16Speaker 1: somebody like Steven for sure. Like there's not a lot
- 37:18Speaker 1: of energy there, no, not a lot of emotional connection there,
- 37:22Speaker 1: but for some reason, Emma is like.
- 37:23Speaker 2: In love with him.
- 37:24Speaker 1: I can see it with him.
- 37:25Speaker 2: It's bizarre. But then she has this like really intimate
- 37:29Speaker 2: conversation with Mike about like her scars and stuff. I
- 37:33Speaker 2: think she talks about having children, and this is where
- 37:37Speaker 2: she gets into the whole like genetics thing. So like
- 37:40Speaker 2: one of the major reasons why she doesn't really want
- 37:42Speaker 2: to have kids is she doesn't want to pass on
- 37:45Speaker 2: her genes to her kids because what if her kids
- 37:48Speaker 2: end up getting cancer or whatever because of all of
- 37:51Speaker 2: her birthmarks and stuff, Like, she just couldn't live with
- 37:53Speaker 2: herself if she did that. And Mike's like, I totally
- 37:57Speaker 2: respect that, and I get that, but like, what if
- 37:59Speaker 2: we adopt to kids though, what if we.
- 38:02Speaker 1: Got gene testing? Yeah, just constantly pushing, Like why why
- 38:06Speaker 1: are you pushing so hard? If you have to push
- 38:08Speaker 1: that hard, just stop and find somebody else.
- 38:10Speaker 2: And then he says, but you know I can relate
- 38:12Speaker 2: to you, though, because I was a premature baby myself, and.
- 38:16Speaker 1: The same thing, the same thing.
- 38:18Speaker 2: I almost died and I came back to life and
- 38:22Speaker 2: now I'm here and now I want to have kids,
- 38:23Speaker 2: and I don't care if I passed that on to
- 38:25Speaker 2: my children, So you shouldn't care about passing on your
- 38:28Speaker 2: bad jeans to your kids. So let's have kids together.
- 38:31Speaker 2: It's so weird, it is. And then we have Jordan
- 38:35Speaker 2: developing a connection with Amber, which is surprising to everybody
- 38:39Speaker 2: but also to him because he said, at the beginning
- 38:43Speaker 2: of love is blind, like when he auditioned for it
- 38:45Speaker 2: and everything that if he encountered a woman with a child,
- 38:49Speaker 2: that would be a deal breaker, Like he's straight up
- 38:52Speaker 2: a was like, no, I don't want to be a stepdaddy.
- 38:55Speaker 2: I don't want to be a pappy. I don't want
- 38:57Speaker 2: a child in the mix of it. But then he
- 38:59Speaker 2: got involved with Amber in the Pods and he was
- 39:02Speaker 2: developing a really intense connection with her, so much so
- 39:05Speaker 2: that he's back in the men's quarters bacon chocolate chip
- 39:09Speaker 2: cookies for her, and he ultimately proposes to her at
- 39:12Speaker 2: the end of episode two.
- 39:13Speaker 1: What do you think about that?
- 39:15Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 39:15Speaker 1: How do you have such a hard and fast rule
- 39:17Speaker 1: and then immediately chuck it? Is it because nobody else
- 39:21Speaker 1: wanted Jordan?
- 39:22Speaker 2: I could see that. But he also said something like
- 39:26Speaker 2: Amber was talking to him about his or her child
- 39:29Speaker 2: and how it would be a privilege for her to
- 39:32Speaker 2: introduce a man into her kid's life, and how he
- 39:36Speaker 2: was starting to warm up to that idea of like
- 39:38Speaker 2: being involved in it. And Amber had said to Jordan
- 39:42Speaker 2: that her kid has a really good relationship with her dad.
- 39:45Speaker 2: Her dad's involved in her life, so like you wouldn't
- 39:48Speaker 2: have to fill the dad role, you would just be
- 39:50Speaker 2: like an extra, you just kind of be there as
- 39:52Speaker 2: like a supportive figure. And Jordan started warming up to
- 39:57Speaker 2: that idea. I could see that, but maybe he he's
- 40:00Speaker 2: just desperate because nobody wants to fucking with the seapath
- 40:02Speaker 2: except for Amper.
- 40:05Speaker 1: She doesn't know yet though, that he needs a seapath
- 40:08Speaker 1: because she hasn't seen him.
- 40:09Speaker 2: I know, which is crazy talking about catfish. Yeah, So
- 40:12Speaker 2: ultimately he proposes to her and she accepts and they
- 40:15Speaker 2: meet in the next episode, and then in the end
- 40:17Speaker 2: of episode two, we have this love triangle kind of
- 40:22Speaker 2: blowing up between Kevon, Tyler, and Kia, and this is
- 40:26Speaker 2: where Tyler establishes that she really likes Kevn, but he's
- 40:32Speaker 2: not really feeling it. And then I think Tyler was
- 40:35Speaker 2: the one that broke up with him first.
- 40:37Speaker 1: Yes, she walked off and she's like, I'm out of
- 40:40Speaker 1: here because I want to be somebody's undeniable choice. And
- 40:45Speaker 1: he's equivocating and he's wishy washy and he's mealy mouthed
- 40:48Speaker 1: and so peace out and so she begins to leave
- 40:51Speaker 1: and production stops her and says, isn't this what you
- 40:55Speaker 1: always do? Though? Yeah, you always just leave. Don't you
- 40:57Speaker 1: want to do something different? She's like, you're right. So
- 40:59Speaker 1: she walks back in and she's like, redo.
- 41:02Speaker 2: That's episode three. That's right, it is the Redo. And
- 41:05Speaker 2: then she crashes out to Kavon about it in the
- 41:08Speaker 2: Pods and she's just like, I just want to be
- 41:10Speaker 2: someone's first choice. I don't know why nobody chooses. I
- 41:13Speaker 2: want to be someone's first choice. And then Cavon, yeah,
- 41:16Speaker 2: like a freaking idiot, do you.
- 41:17Speaker 1: Want to say sound No, No, go ahead, I'll say it
- 41:19Speaker 1: after you say something, I'm.
- 41:19Speaker 2: Just gonna say. Kavon is like, I choose you, Tyler.
- 41:23Speaker 2: You're my number one choice because you're phenomenal and you're
- 41:25Speaker 2: amazing and lovely and a flower that blooms. I just.
- 41:32Speaker 1: I there's an old commercial from back in the seventies
- 41:36Speaker 1: or something like that eighties, and the tagline was never
- 41:40Speaker 1: let them see you sweat. In other words, don't show
- 41:44Speaker 1: your weakness and your vulnerability to somebody else, and certainly
- 41:49Speaker 1: to somebody that we we can't trust yet or whatever.
- 41:52Speaker 1: And so like when she's confessing these deep desires of self,
- 41:58Speaker 1: like I just want to be seen. I want to
- 42:00Speaker 1: feel like somebody's undeniable choice. I want somebody to love
- 42:04Speaker 1: me and find me to be worth it. Like that's
- 42:07Speaker 1: core identity psychological issues. Yeah, you need therapy, and you
- 42:14Speaker 1: do she I do think she needs therapy because she's
- 42:16Speaker 1: an accomplished woman as well. For sure. She became a
- 42:21Speaker 1: director in her design firm before the age of thirty
- 42:25Speaker 1: years old. And she talks about her accomplishments and she's
- 42:29Speaker 1: really good at what she does. But she's so willing
- 42:32Speaker 1: to chuck it all and move to Cincinnati or whatever
- 42:35Speaker 1: where he lives with his mother. I think for this
- 42:38Speaker 1: team Will Smith and I'm like, what are you talking about.
- 42:42Speaker 2: You've got everything going for you. Further Moore, you're beautiful.
- 42:46Speaker 1: There's so and she's still pouring out her vulnerabilities and
- 42:51Speaker 1: her weaknesses and her innermost parts to this guy who
- 42:55Speaker 1: does not deserve that, and he doesn't care, also doesn't
- 42:59Speaker 1: know how to have. It's like a treasure you're giving
- 43:02Speaker 1: somebody and he's like, yeah, that's great. He doesn't know
- 43:04Speaker 1: how to take care of her, but she so needs
- 43:06Speaker 1: to be taken care of that she'll just tell anybody.
- 43:08Speaker 1: And I just want I want women in particular like
- 43:11Speaker 1: to stop doing that. These men are not emotionally intelligent enough.
- 43:17Speaker 1: They are not intelligent and intelligent enough. They don't deserve
- 43:20Speaker 1: all of these beautiful parts of yourself. And so I
- 43:24Speaker 1: just I was embarrassed for Tyler. I was like, you're
- 43:26Speaker 1: doing too much, Tyler, calm down a little bit. But
- 43:29Speaker 1: at the same time, I could see where it was
- 43:32Speaker 1: coming from, and she was wasting it on Kivan.
- 43:35Speaker 2: I agree completely, And it's something that I've been seeing
- 43:39Speaker 2: like in my friend groups and stuff like that, and
- 43:42Speaker 2: like even in my own family, Like I have a
- 43:44Speaker 2: cousin who's like so sprung for this guy that she's dating,
- 43:49Speaker 2: and every time she'll tell me about it, and I'm like,
- 43:52Speaker 2: he's such a loser, And I tell her because he's like,
- 43:56Speaker 2: it's literally my age and I'm not going to give
- 44:01Speaker 2: too many personal details. Yes, but he's my age. My
- 44:04Speaker 2: cousin's younger than me. And I'm like, why are you
- 44:07Speaker 2: going after this dude who like he won't be in
- 44:10Speaker 2: a relationship with her because he's afraid of commitment, but
- 44:13Speaker 2: is totally fine banging her.
- 44:16Speaker 1: Of course, And it's just like the oldest time. But
- 44:19Speaker 1: she's young, I know, and she doesn't know it. Now
- 44:22Speaker 1: talk to her when she's forty and she's been through
- 44:25Speaker 1: a few scenarios like this, and you have the wisdom
- 44:28Speaker 1: acquired with age. But like Tyler is thirty, so she's
- 44:33Speaker 1: I mean to me, she's quite young. She doesn't have
- 44:36Speaker 1: the worldly experience of relationships like or enough of them
- 44:39Speaker 1: to understand her own value, and so she's just offering
- 44:42Speaker 1: it desperately to this guy across a wall who does
- 44:46Speaker 1: not deserve it, and it's really embarrassing, and I'm just
- 44:50Speaker 1: wondering what she's gonna think when she watches it back.
- 44:52Speaker 2: I hope she cringes and is like and learns from
- 44:55Speaker 2: it and realizes, oh wow, I was simping over this
- 44:57Speaker 2: dude who was giving me the exact same spece. She's
- 45:00Speaker 2: literally getting to Kiya, which.
- 45:01Speaker 1: Is a stupid bum ass speech. You know, you're pretty
- 45:04Speaker 1: like a flower in bloom and the constellation in the sky.
- 45:07Speaker 1: I'm like, And a few times she actually looks at
- 45:10Speaker 1: the camera, are you like what the reel is? Is
- 45:13Speaker 1: this happening right now? It is happening. He doesn't deserve
- 45:16Speaker 1: you walk away, which she ultimately does.
- 45:19Speaker 2: She does, but in this episode and episode three, she
- 45:23Speaker 2: is trying to give him one more chance because the
- 45:27Speaker 2: producers convinced her to stay, and she also realized, I'm
- 45:30Speaker 2: not gonna get paid if I leave early, So I'm gonna.
- 45:33Speaker 1: Need more followers on the IG, I need on the TikTok,
- 45:37Speaker 1: I need more clout.
- 45:39Speaker 2: So I'm gonna go back crash out to Kavan and
- 45:41Speaker 2: he's gonna give me a bum ass speech and I'm
- 45:43Speaker 2: going to believe it for now because she is totally desperado.
- 45:48Speaker 2: Then we also have connections between I mean, how about Kiya.
- 45:53Speaker 2: She's not in this one, well she is.
- 45:55Speaker 1: She's still dating him at the same time as Tyler.
- 45:58Speaker 1: Like as soon as Tyler leaves, he has a date
- 46:00Speaker 1: with Kia. Yeah, yeah, yeah, I know it comes to
- 46:02Speaker 1: a head I think in the next episode, but like
- 46:04Speaker 1: I'm just wondering, and I kind of want to workshop
- 46:07Speaker 1: it with you, Like what is her motivation here? Because
- 46:09Speaker 1: she seems like a really cool chick, Kia. Yeah, oh,
- 46:12Speaker 1: Kia seems like a really cool chick. She seems to
- 46:15Speaker 1: enjoy her conversations with Kevan, Like I never got the
- 46:20Speaker 1: impression that she actually really liked him, like she was
- 46:23Speaker 1: really into him, and I was wondering what her motivation was,
- 46:28Speaker 1: Like we just mentioned with Tyler, maybe she wanted to
- 46:31Speaker 1: stay around for the IEG, for the GRAM, for the talk,
- 46:34Speaker 1: And I'm kind of getting that vibe from Kia as well.
- 46:37Speaker 2: I don't know my vibe was the opposite. I thought
- 46:39Speaker 2: she did actually like Kevon. I feel like Kia was
- 46:43Speaker 2: the type of person, or is the type of person
- 46:45Speaker 2: that likes a fixer upper, so like maybe I can
- 46:48Speaker 2: change him, maybe like he's not perfect, Like maybe I
- 46:50Speaker 2: can change him, and maybe he'll like change for me
- 46:53Speaker 2: because I'm so amazing, Because I think Kia is a catch. Oh.
- 46:57Speaker 2: I think she's super smart. I think she's a comp
- 47:00Speaker 2: I think she's emotionally intelligent. I think she's a really
- 47:03Speaker 2: awesome person, Like she would make a great wife. Kevon
- 47:06Speaker 2: does not deserve either of these women. I don't know
- 47:08Speaker 2: what any of them there so out of his league,
- 47:12Speaker 2: it's insane. But I think Keo was like hopeful. I
- 47:16Speaker 2: think she was optimistic. And then when it comes to
- 47:19Speaker 2: a head and she realizes the back and forth between
- 47:23Speaker 2: Kia and Tyler and Kevon and everything, then she realizes like, oh,
- 47:27Speaker 2: he ain't shit.
- 47:28Speaker 1: Well, but she stays in it, And that's kind of
- 47:30Speaker 1: what I'm getting at and it is in the next
- 47:33Speaker 1: episode that we kind of drill down into it. But like,
- 47:35Speaker 1: tell us what you think if you're watching on YouTube,
- 47:37Speaker 1: Like what did you think about Kia? Like did you
- 47:39Speaker 1: think like Keia was really into Kevan? Did you think
- 47:42Speaker 1: that Kia was just kind of drawing it out so
- 47:46Speaker 1: she could get camera time, which I think like two
- 47:48Speaker 1: things can be true at once, But I want to
- 47:50Speaker 1: know what everybody else thinks.
- 47:51Speaker 2: Yeah, let us know in the comments below. But in
- 47:54Speaker 2: episode three, we also had DeVante and Brittany that were
- 47:57Speaker 2: getting closer in their stupid, dumbass relationship. And this is
- 48:00Speaker 2: where we realize, or we come to know that Davante's
- 48:04Speaker 2: grandpa Devo.
- 48:05Speaker 1: His name is Devot because I don't want to be
- 48:07Speaker 1: associated with a cultural name like Davante. Why that's the question. Oh,
- 48:13Speaker 1: because he has a problem with identity that he doesn't
- 48:16Speaker 1: like to be called to DeVante. He doesn't like to
- 48:17Speaker 1: be called DeVante. He likes to be called Devot.
- 48:20Speaker 2: And I'm just like, Okay, Divo the Diva's just probably
- 48:23Speaker 2: slairs being sent up, flags being waved and they're red.
- 48:27Speaker 2: They are red. So Divo the Diva, Deviante his grandpa
- 48:34Speaker 2: dies I shouldn't laugh right here. It's not funny. His
- 48:37Speaker 2: grandpa died during filming, and he was informed about this
- 48:42Speaker 2: by the producers, and the producer's like, do you want
- 48:45Speaker 2: to leave and go be with your family because that's
- 48:47Speaker 2: a normal thing to do in morning, because your grandpa
- 48:50Speaker 2: just died, And DeVante's like, you know what, No, I'm
- 48:53Speaker 2: gonna stay because my grandpa would have really wanted me
- 48:56Speaker 2: to be here. Sure, so I'm gonna stay. So then
- 49:00Speaker 2: he tells Brittany about it, and Brittany, being a lovely person,
- 49:04Speaker 2: is holding space for him. She checks up on him regularly.
- 49:08Speaker 2: They're developing kind of an intimate connection. Devo is like
- 49:12Speaker 2: falling in love with her or something, or maybe he's
- 49:14Speaker 2: trauma bonding, I don't know, and they're getting closer. Then
- 49:18Speaker 2: we also have let's see Emma, who is still torn
- 49:22Speaker 2: between the two generic white guys Mike and Connor. But
- 49:27Speaker 2: Connor and her in particular have really big differences with
- 49:31Speaker 2: kids because Connor his non negotiable is having kids. So
- 49:36Speaker 2: you're even a little bit wishy washy peace out And
- 49:39Speaker 2: he basically tells her that, but Emma's still like, but
- 49:41Speaker 2: I love you though I want to be with Connor.
- 49:45Speaker 2: He's my number one He's my number one guy. Then
- 49:49Speaker 2: we have Jordan and Amber meeting after the proposal, so
- 49:53Speaker 2: after the cookies and everything, and this was weird.
- 49:58Speaker 1: What did we think of the reveal for Jordan and Amber?
- 50:02Speaker 2: My vibe was that this was awkward.
- 50:04Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 50:05Speaker 2: I felt like Jordan thought he hit the jackpot with Amber,
- 50:08Speaker 2: but then Amber looked at him.
- 50:09Speaker 1: And was like, em well, and let's just rewind it
- 50:14Speaker 1: a bit, because at some point when they were in
- 50:16Speaker 1: the pods, Amber said something about him like, well, as
- 50:19Speaker 1: long as you're not like sixty in fat, and then.
- 50:24Speaker 2: Jordan was just lying there.
- 50:25Speaker 1: He's like, yeah, no, I mean I'm six, I'm not
- 50:27Speaker 1: sixty or anything yic. So she might have a preference
- 50:33Speaker 1: for non husky individuals. And so when we have the reveal,
- 50:38Speaker 1: I don't know about you, but I could kind of
- 50:39Speaker 1: see it on her face, huh, And I could sniff
- 50:42Speaker 1: it in the energy that she was just like, oh,
- 50:44Speaker 1: he's kind of husky though. But they embrace and it's
- 50:51Speaker 1: a little awkward, but we've seen worse. It's not terrible.
- 50:54Speaker 1: She's open to it.
- 50:56Speaker 2: Yes, and she also says later on in the episode
- 50:58Speaker 2: She's like, I kind of like a hussy. So I'm like, okay,
- 51:01Speaker 2: well maybe you're into that. And he's not like super
- 51:04Speaker 2: infini fat, he's not six hundred pounds.
- 51:08Speaker 1: He's not James k From six hundred pounds life.
- 51:10Speaker 2: For sure, So it's like he's like a Jack Black,
- 51:13Speaker 2: you know, and like maybe if he's funny and stuff,
- 51:15Speaker 2: it makes up for I don't know whatever. Their vibe
- 51:18Speaker 2: was weird though. Then we have Alex and Ashley, who
- 51:22Speaker 2: are also growing closer in the pods, and these people
- 51:27Speaker 2: they're conversations.
- 51:28Speaker 1: It's so vacuous. It's just a surface level sexual it's lusty.
- 51:36Speaker 1: There's nothing of substance, there's no deeper connection.
- 51:40Speaker 2: There is a deeper connection. They bonded over the book
- 51:43Speaker 2: The Alchemists.
- 51:44Speaker 1: Oh yeah, that was Paul's a really profound book. And
- 51:47Speaker 1: I just didn't know that, like what I was looking
- 51:49Speaker 1: for was only fifteen feet away from me. It's amazing.
- 51:53Speaker 2: Have you read that book. I've never read it.
- 51:55Speaker 1: I read it twenty years ago.
- 51:56Speaker 2: Is it profound or I read it because.
- 52:00Speaker 1: Because it was Madonna's favorite book at the time, and
- 52:02Speaker 1: I was like super into Madonna, like during the Frozen years. Yeah,
- 52:06Speaker 1: so I read it. I liked it, but I mean.
- 52:08Speaker 2: But it's not like no world changing.
- 52:11Speaker 1: I wouldn't say so, but there were there were themes
- 52:14Speaker 1: in there that were profound. Okay, but these two vapid.
- 52:18Speaker 2: The way they were talking about.
- 52:20Speaker 1: It, vacuuous ding dongs.
- 52:23Speaker 2: I mean, that would be the book for them.
- 52:24Speaker 1: Let's just say that.
- 52:25Speaker 2: Okay, yeah, fair, that makes sense. But they ultimately grow
- 52:29Speaker 2: closer or whatever, however close you can get. When you're
- 52:32Speaker 2: like two superficial fucking.
- 52:34Speaker 1: They're just both masturbating on their side. They're masturbating in
- 52:37Speaker 1: their pods.
- 52:38Speaker 2: This is what it is.
- 52:40Speaker 1: That's what it feels like to me.
- 52:41Speaker 2: That's totally what it is. Because they're like flirting a lot,
- 52:44Speaker 2: and she's talking about how much she loves getting digged down,
- 52:46Speaker 2: and he's like, oh my god, it's so fucking hot.
- 52:49Speaker 2: And then he ultimately proposes her right because he's in
- 52:53Speaker 2: love with her and wants to go to Coppo of course,
- 52:56Speaker 2: see all the batties, of course. And then they meet
- 53:00Speaker 2: up after their proposal as well. And you know, Ashley
- 53:04Speaker 2: is pretty stuff.
- 53:05Speaker 1: You know, she's she's like she's statue West. She's got hair,
- 53:09Speaker 1: is beautiful, long blonde hair, beautiful eyes, very pretty yet and.
- 53:13Speaker 2: Like Alex, if he just doesn't speak.
- 53:16Speaker 1: Objectively, is a handsome let me speak as the resident
- 53:19Speaker 1: had a resexical yeah in the room. I know you
- 53:22Speaker 1: have your lesbian space, lesbian clarity, but like I would say,
- 53:25Speaker 1: like if I didn't know about him, he's definitely tall,
- 53:28Speaker 1: dark and handsome. He's athletic, but like without being super
- 53:33Speaker 1: fucked up in a buff like that, Like he's a
- 53:35Speaker 1: handsome person objectively, but like you said, the minute he
- 53:39Speaker 1: opens his mouth, it's all about him. Yeah, it's all
- 53:42Speaker 1: about his soccer. It's all about how great he is
- 53:47Speaker 1: and how he can do whatever he wants and get
- 53:49Speaker 1: whatever woman he wants.
- 53:50Speaker 2: And I'm like shut ah. And then when we saw
- 53:54Speaker 2: the tribal tattoos in compo, I was like I'm done.
- 53:57Speaker 1: I cannot take it.
- 53:58Speaker 2: I can't do it. And then the last thing that
- 54:00Speaker 2: happens in episode three is Emma like confessing her love
- 54:04Speaker 2: basically to Connor, and she's like, you're my number one.
- 54:07Speaker 2: I love you so much and we've like developed such
- 54:09Speaker 2: a good connection and Connor straight up is like, M
- 54:13Speaker 2: sorry about it, but I got a stronger connection with
- 54:17Speaker 2: Busted Breezy with busted Breezy, you got stop what? And
- 54:24Speaker 2: then we get into episode four. We have episode four,
- 54:28Speaker 2: Emma goes back to the women's quarters and totally crashes
- 54:32Speaker 2: out because Connor dumped her, which I'm just like, girl,
- 54:36Speaker 2: it's not that deep.
- 54:40Speaker 1: Seriously.
- 54:42Speaker 2: Then she also tells Mike about it, which I thought
- 54:45Speaker 2: was pretty cringe.
- 54:46Speaker 1: Well, but when she talks to Mike, she refers to
- 54:49Speaker 1: Mike as his number one insofar, she's like, I broke
- 54:53Speaker 1: it off with my number two when you had been
- 54:55Speaker 1: telling everybody and the camera that Connor was your number one.
- 54:58Speaker 1: You lie an asshole. He's lying over here and.
- 55:02Speaker 2: This I know. I'm like, that's so dubious. So when
- 55:05Speaker 2: Mike watches this back, he's gonna be like, Okay, it
- 55:08Speaker 2: was the second choice the entire time. Yep, you were
- 55:11Speaker 2: my dude, and you took it. Then we also have
- 55:14Speaker 2: Chris military Man and Jessica Shortstack doctor. They apparently in
- 55:20Speaker 2: these three episodes we didn't get to see much of it.
- 55:23Speaker 2: They developed an intense connection. He proposed to her and
- 55:28Speaker 2: confessed his love and then they also meet after their proposal,
- 55:31Speaker 2: And what did you think about their meeting?
- 55:34Speaker 1: I thought that they seemed both of them happy with
- 55:39Speaker 1: the other person, likely too physically attracted, and super happy
- 55:44Speaker 1: to see each other, and so I was hopeful. Jessica
- 55:47Speaker 1: in particular seemed quite sprung so into it, and Chris
- 55:52Speaker 1: was as well. But like, because I saw the preview, Yeah,
- 55:55Speaker 1: I just wonder how attracted to her he really was.
- 55:58Speaker 2: I see, And I hadn't seen the preview when I
- 56:00Speaker 2: was watching me, so I was going totally blind. Me too,
- 56:02Speaker 2: me too, you know. So when I'm watching this episode,
- 56:04Speaker 2: I'm like, Oh, they're really cute, Like they probably have
- 56:07Speaker 2: an instant connection because she thought he was so handsome.
- 56:10Speaker 2: She loved how he was a short stack because she's
- 56:13Speaker 2: also a short stack. She's like, you're perfect, You're so cute,
- 56:16Speaker 2: and she's beautiful, and he thought she was pretty and everything,
- 56:19Speaker 2: and they made out and I'm like, Okay, they got
- 56:21Speaker 2: instant connection. But then in the preview, he's like going
- 56:25Speaker 2: back to breezy for some reason, he calls a bro
- 56:28Speaker 2: and a dude. I don't get it.
- 56:30Speaker 1: With his butts because she's giving off some masculine energy,
- 56:33Speaker 1: I don't get it as well. My only thought was like,
- 56:37Speaker 1: you could only wish to land a woman like Jessica. Yeah,
- 56:42Speaker 1: we've got doctors up in this season. These women are
- 56:45Speaker 1: here and they're professional alls and you nondescript analysts and
- 56:50Speaker 1: account specialists whatever that fucking means. Should be so lucky
- 56:55Speaker 1: as to end up with a woman like Jessica. But
- 56:58Speaker 1: he's not going to appreciate it. Garan no guarantee, he's
- 57:01Speaker 1: not gonna appreciate. He's gonna fuck it up.
- 57:04Speaker 2: And the other thing that's kind of looming over their
- 57:06Speaker 2: heads is their age difference, because Jessica's like thirty nine
- 57:10Speaker 2: and Chris I think he's like thirty three, so there's
- 57:12Speaker 2: like a five or six year age gap there. And
- 57:15Speaker 2: Chris had talked about like possibly wanting kids, and that
- 57:18Speaker 2: was a reservation that he had in the pods with
- 57:21Speaker 2: his connection with Jessica, was like, I don't know, like
- 57:23Speaker 2: if I want to pick her because I might want
- 57:25Speaker 2: to have kids and she doesn't any at all.
- 57:28Speaker 1: So well, she was kind of open to it, though
- 57:30Speaker 1: she wasn't like an absolute no on it, and she
- 57:32Speaker 1: can still have children.
- 57:34Speaker 2: But he was like kind of focused on the age
- 57:36Speaker 2: difference a bit because I think he was also torn
- 57:38Speaker 2: between Breezy. I think he was having a connection with her,
- 57:42Speaker 2: but he ultimately chose Jessica and proposed to her, and
- 57:46Speaker 2: then it seems like he's gonna have second thoughts once
- 57:49Speaker 2: they're all in Cabo and they're drunk, and after they fucked,
- 57:51Speaker 2: and after they fuck, of course he got that nut
- 57:54Speaker 2: clarity or something. Then in this episode, this is where
- 57:57Speaker 2: the love triangle between Kia and Tyler and Keevon comes
- 58:01Speaker 2: to a head. So Kia gives Tyler a watch as
- 58:06Speaker 2: a gift, So, like everybody gives each other gifts or whatever,
- 58:09Speaker 2: she gives him a watch. And this is something about
- 58:11Speaker 2: her grandpa, right.
- 58:13Speaker 1: Her pop, her dad, her dad who passed when she
- 58:16Speaker 1: was fifteen years old, Yes, who loved watches.
- 58:18Speaker 2: Yes, And so it's a very meaningful, very sweet, sentimental.
- 58:23Speaker 1: Gift, potentially manipulative. I don't know.
- 58:26Speaker 2: Maybe if you're if you're Dahlia and you're sussing it out.
- 58:29Speaker 1: I'm just wondering, it's a little, a little that's a
- 58:32Speaker 1: bit much, don't you think?
- 58:33Speaker 2: Well, I guess, I don't know. I thought it was
- 58:36Speaker 2: like she was developing in connection with him, and she
- 58:38Speaker 2: was like, this is a very special thing. It means
- 58:41Speaker 2: that you're really a special person, and I want to
- 58:43Speaker 2: be with you or whatever. Keevan's like, that's really cool,
- 58:47Speaker 2: you're phenomenal or whatever. But then he like, I think
- 58:50Speaker 2: he tells her I'm having a connection with Tyler or something.
- 58:53Speaker 2: Then he goes and talks to Tyler.
- 58:55Speaker 1: While he's telling her about Tyler, she keeps interrupting him.
- 58:58Speaker 1: That's right, like I'm giving you this watch because like
- 59:00Speaker 1: you need to take your time, Like I know you're
- 59:01Speaker 1: already really vibing with Tyler, but like you need to
- 59:05Speaker 1: think about it. We've got time, you can figure it out, like,
- 59:07Speaker 1: don't rush it, right, And then they make it official,
- 59:10Speaker 1: so he's like, you're my girlfriend, Kia. She's like, oh
- 59:13Speaker 1: my god, we're official.
- 59:15Speaker 2: That's amazing. And then he she leaves the pod.
- 59:17Speaker 1: And immediately comes Tyler.
- 59:20Speaker 2: Back, and then they're having a conversation. I think at
- 59:24Speaker 2: some point Tyler learned about his connection with Kia. She
- 59:29Speaker 2: confronts him about it, and he's like, well, yeah, like
- 59:31Speaker 2: I have a connection with her, but I also have
- 59:33Speaker 2: a connection with you because you're both phenomenal, amazing strong women.
- 59:37Speaker 2: And then this is where Tyler's like, naw, dude, I'm out,
- 59:41Speaker 2: this is bullshit. Well, he tells.
- 59:43Speaker 1: She tells him, you need to make a decision, and
- 59:47Speaker 1: in that encounter, he chooses.
- 59:50Speaker 2: Her and he toos.
- 59:52Speaker 1: She tells him, I'm expecting you to get up on
- 59:55Speaker 1: your knee and proposed to me tomorrow. You need to
- 59:58Speaker 1: be very clear about what's going to happen, and so
- 1:00:00Speaker 1: she actually leaves that session, giving him the impression that
- 1:00:05Speaker 1: he's gonna propose the next day and that she'll probably accept.
- 1:00:08Speaker 1: Little does he know, she's about to bounce and she's
- 1:00:11Speaker 1: not coming back.
- 1:00:12Speaker 2: And thank god, Tyler. Honestly, finally, this is why I
- 1:00:15Speaker 2: thought Kevon was a bit of a player, because he's
- 1:00:17Speaker 2: made it official now with two ladies.
- 1:00:19Speaker 1: Yeah he's doing that.
- 1:00:20Speaker 2: Yeah, HEA's boyfriend. But then now he's like, Tyler, I
- 1:00:24Speaker 2: choose you. I choose you, and ultimately she ghosts him.
- 1:00:29Speaker 2: I think at the end of this episode it was
- 1:00:31Speaker 2: so fucking awesome because he goes back to the pod
- 1:00:34Speaker 2: expecting that she'll be there and she ain't.
- 1:00:36Speaker 1: Tyler, Tyler, Tyler, where are you at? Tyler?
- 1:00:40Speaker 2: Awesome? It's so great. And then we have DeVante proposing
- 1:00:44Speaker 2: to Brittany. They don't meet in this episode yet, but
- 1:00:49Speaker 2: I'm just like, how did we go from Grandpapy died
- 1:00:52Speaker 2: to We're going to propose to Brittany.
- 1:00:55Speaker 1: I want to go to Cabo.
- 1:00:56Speaker 2: That it's gotta be That's all it is. It's got
- 1:00:59Speaker 2: to be that. And then Emma is like, you know,
- 1:01:03Speaker 2: after Connor dumped my ass, I'm sure that Mike is
- 1:01:06Speaker 2: the one.
- 1:01:08Speaker 1: I spent him all along, actually the entire time, I'm.
- 1:01:13Speaker 2: Just like, girl, you're so stupid. She gives Mike like
- 1:01:17Speaker 2: a box of her mom's like Christmas letters. I guess
- 1:01:20Speaker 2: she used to write a little letter about her and
- 1:01:24Speaker 2: her siblings or something cool every Christmas.
- 1:01:26Speaker 1: I thought that was cool.
- 1:01:27Speaker 2: That was very sweet, like every year that they grow up,
- 1:01:29Speaker 2: Like she'd write about how they're changing, right.
- 1:01:32Speaker 1: What happened in the year, the things that are going
- 1:01:35Speaker 1: on with the family and with Emma. I just thought
- 1:01:37Speaker 1: that was a really interesting novel idea.
- 1:01:40Speaker 2: I loved that. I thought that was really sweet and
- 1:01:42Speaker 2: like something you can keep forever. And so she gives
- 1:01:44Speaker 2: him this box again, another very sentimental, intimate gift. Mike is,
- 1:01:48Speaker 2: of course very appreciative, because I think he's a genuinely
- 1:01:51Speaker 2: nice dude. I think he's just on this show, probably
- 1:01:54Speaker 2: for Klou or probably because he wants to go to
- 1:01:56Speaker 2: Cobbo or something like.
- 1:01:57Speaker 1: He seems nice and what's his sign again?
- 1:01:59Speaker 2: Do you let me pull it up?
- 1:02:01Speaker 1: Is he one of them Pisces?
- 1:02:02Speaker 2: No, bitch, she's a Taurus.
- 1:02:04Speaker 1: He is a Taurus. That's what you give him the
- 1:02:07Speaker 1: benefit of the doubt.
- 1:02:08Speaker 2: What I think Taurus men are probably pretty cool. Well
- 1:02:11Speaker 2: Taurus women are, aren't they? Sure? Okay, so yeah, Mike
- 1:02:17Speaker 2: is very appreciative. He also gives her like a sentimental
- 1:02:21Speaker 2: well not really sentimental. He gives her a love is
- 1:02:23Speaker 2: Blind scrap book.
- 1:02:25Speaker 1: It's not sentimental at all, although it's kind of cute
- 1:02:28Speaker 1: that a man would be interested in scrap booking.
- 1:02:30Speaker 2: That's why I thought it was kind of cute. And
- 1:02:33Speaker 2: then we have Connor, who just dumped Emma. He goes
- 1:02:36Speaker 2: to propose to Breezy, and when they were in the pods,
- 1:02:40Speaker 2: I was thinking, you know what, maybe you guy's got
- 1:02:42Speaker 2: a cool connection because they're both kind of obnoxious, especially Brie.
- 1:02:46Speaker 2: She's very obnoxious. And they talk a lot, and they
- 1:02:48Speaker 2: banter and they kind of bicker in like a cute
- 1:02:50Speaker 2: little way. And he talks about this like, I want
- 1:02:54Speaker 2: you to annoy me for the rest of my life,
- 1:02:56Speaker 2: Will you marry me? And she's like, oh my god,
- 1:02:59Speaker 2: yeah a million times yes, Connor. And then they meet
- 1:03:06Speaker 2: in this episode as well, so he had a lot
- 1:03:07Speaker 2: of people meeting in this one. And what did you
- 1:03:11Speaker 2: think of their initial meetup?
- 1:03:14Speaker 1: Well, I think Connor went into it a bit insecure
- 1:03:18Speaker 1: because I think he had mentioned that he hadn't.
- 1:03:20Speaker 2: Been exercising, like he wasn't in the best shape. Yeah,
- 1:03:23Speaker 2: he's a little fluffy.
- 1:03:24Speaker 1: He didn't necessarily feel the best about himself, so he
- 1:03:27Speaker 1: was a little concerned about that. And then we've got breezy.
- 1:03:30Speaker 1: He's like overconfident, big loud energy. I thought that she
- 1:03:35Speaker 1: was disappointed. Probably I thought so too. I think she
- 1:03:38Speaker 1: was disappointed, but that, like Amber, she was willing to
- 1:03:43Speaker 1: give him a chance. But in that reveal encounter, I
- 1:03:46Speaker 1: felt like she overpowered, overwhelmed. Did she tell him he
- 1:03:51Speaker 1: was sweaty or was that Devonda? I'm sorry, okay, but
- 1:03:54Speaker 1: like he looked sweaty, he looked uncomfortable. He was just
- 1:03:57Speaker 1: like a weird reveal to me.
- 1:03:59Speaker 2: See, Like I thought that they could have like some connection.
- 1:04:02Speaker 2: I did feel like she was disappointed by his appearance,
- 1:04:05Speaker 2: but I felt like he was fine with it, Like,
- 1:04:07Speaker 2: I thought she looked pretty in her dress, and I
- 1:04:11Speaker 2: don't know, I thought they looked good when they sat
- 1:04:14Speaker 2: together and they were like kind of making out and stuff.
- 1:04:16Speaker 2: I'm like, okay, I could, I could see a world
- 1:04:17Speaker 2: where this would work. But then in the preview, I mean,
- 1:04:21Speaker 2: she's simping over Chris, so it's it's hopeless. And then
- 1:04:26Speaker 2: episode five, we have Davante and Brittany meeting up after
- 1:04:29Speaker 2: their proposal. Honey, and this was peak, this was fucking awesome.
- 1:04:34Speaker 2: So the doors open up and Britney is beautiful. Honey's
- 1:04:40Speaker 2: a snack.
- 1:04:41Speaker 1: She is as arguably the most esthetically like a beautiful woman,
- 1:04:48Speaker 1: dark out of hers she's curvy, banging body.
- 1:04:52Speaker 2: I mean, she's gorgeas. Then we have Davante Hillsbury Don
- 1:05:00Speaker 2: literally feels very dope boy. Yeah, Pilsbury dope boy.
- 1:05:03Speaker 1: He's fucked up hair, fucked up hair, head and everything.
- 1:05:07Speaker 2: He's like, shirt's not even typed in bullshit. Man, Like
- 1:05:12Speaker 2: this dude is mid on a good day, oh yeah,
- 1:05:15Speaker 2: on a good day.
- 1:05:16Speaker 1: Oh yeah.
- 1:05:17Speaker 2: So he gets paired with this bombshell. Brittany of course,
- 1:05:21Speaker 2: is like gross down, She's like she says that the
- 1:05:24Speaker 2: camera is something like, he's a bit sweaty, and he's
- 1:05:27Speaker 2: a bit chubby. He's not like the normal vibe that
- 1:05:30Speaker 2: I go for. But you know, like we all get
- 1:05:32Speaker 2: fat one day, so.
- 1:05:33Speaker 1: It's fine, just like and then DeVante to the camera says, well,
- 1:05:38Speaker 1: I've never dated a person of color, a person of color,
- 1:05:41Speaker 1: or a woman of a woman a woman of color.
- 1:05:44Speaker 1: And then he says something like, yeah, I've never dated
- 1:05:46Speaker 1: something like that.
- 1:05:49Speaker 2: Yikes. And then he also said something like, I when
- 1:05:52Speaker 2: I matched up with her, I matched up with the
- 1:05:55Speaker 2: type of person I thought that she would be like
- 1:05:58Speaker 2: AKA white.
- 1:06:00Speaker 1: Well, yeah, because her name's Brittany. Because they talked about like, yeah,
- 1:06:03Speaker 1: my mom wanted to name me Lilliana. Yeah, then you
- 1:06:06Speaker 1: would have known I was hispatic if my name was
- 1:06:08Speaker 1: Lilliana or something like that. It was just like the
- 1:06:10Speaker 1: internalized racism I know. For DeVante was off the charts.
- 1:06:16Speaker 1: And nobody's given him appropriate home training about like how
- 1:06:21Speaker 1: to be decent to other people, like saying that I've
- 1:06:24Speaker 1: never dated something like that. Wild already says to me
- 1:06:29Speaker 1: that you're dehumanizing or depersoning Brittany, like you're why reducing
- 1:06:35Speaker 1: her down to the color of her skin, which is
- 1:06:39Speaker 1: a little darker than your skin, I guess, but like
- 1:06:42Speaker 1: you also have melanin within you as well. You're obviously
- 1:06:46Speaker 1: mixed race. What the fuck are you banging on about,
- 1:06:49Speaker 1: big boy?
- 1:06:50Speaker 2: And it's so weird. It's like it's one thing to
- 1:06:52Speaker 2: have preferences, Like it's one thing to like, I prefer
- 1:06:55Speaker 2: to date people in this kind of category or whatever.
- 1:06:58Speaker 2: It's another to be so like repulsed by under their race.
- 1:07:04Speaker 2: He is so not into her whatsoever, and like, to
- 1:07:07Speaker 2: be fair, she's not into him either.
- 1:07:10Speaker 1: Yeah, but she's gonna end up trying to make concessions
- 1:07:12Speaker 1: for him that are completely unwarranted. But it's like wild,
- 1:07:16Speaker 1: he's one of those guys who says this is my
- 1:07:18Speaker 1: preference though, in order to cover up bigotry.
- 1:07:21Speaker 2: Yeah, for sure.
- 1:07:22Speaker 1: It's really sad because I think Brittany seems like such
- 1:07:26Speaker 1: a lovely person. Yeah, And I think, like my vibe
- 1:07:29Speaker 1: is that she's going into it in good faith, Like
- 1:07:32Speaker 1: she bought her wedding dress before she even came on
- 1:07:35Speaker 1: to love is mid, Like she's really wanting to get married.
- 1:07:39Speaker 1: She's had this vow of celibacy. She wants to preserve
- 1:07:41Speaker 1: herself for her future husband, like she's into it. She
- 1:07:44Speaker 1: wants to find a guy, and then she gets stuck
- 1:07:46Speaker 1: with Divante, who hates himself so much that he's got
- 1:07:51Speaker 1: leftover hate for her.
- 1:07:53Speaker 2: It's wild to me, it's unfortunate, it's sad, Brittany. And
- 1:07:56Speaker 2: even though Brittany made the fat comment, which I did
- 1:07:59Speaker 2: laugh at, and she called him and sticky and sweaty
- 1:08:04Speaker 2: as well, which was pretty great because he was chopped
- 1:08:07Speaker 2: a pair. Even though she said all that, she said,
- 1:08:09Speaker 2: I'm gonna make the best of it because I fell
- 1:08:12Speaker 2: in love with his personality, because love is truly blind,
- 1:08:16Speaker 2: and we're gonna put it to a test. So she's
- 1:08:18Speaker 2: she is coming at it with good faith and also
- 1:08:20Speaker 2: wants to go to Cabo and doing it for the grab.
- 1:08:24Speaker 2: Davante is just racist, so I think so, I mean,
- 1:08:28Speaker 2: I actually think so. It's kind of how it feels.
- 1:08:31Speaker 2: Then we have let's see Kevon so Keevon got ghosted
- 1:08:36Speaker 2: by Tyler, which was fucking awesome. He was not expecting that.
- 1:08:40Speaker 2: So then he goes back to the guy's quarters and
- 1:08:42Speaker 2: of course all the guys are like, dude, you doudged
- 1:08:44Speaker 2: a bullet. Bro about it. You're such a fucking cat.
- 1:08:49Speaker 2: You judged a fucking bullet. And so then he goes
- 1:08:53Speaker 2: from the men's quarters back to the pods to go
- 1:08:56Speaker 2: and propose to Kiya. So he got dumped by Tyler,
- 1:09:00Speaker 2: and now it was like, Kia, you're the one.
- 1:09:02Speaker 1: And he was showing up to propose to Tyler. Yeah,
- 1:09:05Speaker 1: and so he's immediately just gonna propose to Kia.
- 1:09:07Speaker 2: Now, player, That's what I'm saying. Player. And this was
- 1:09:10Speaker 2: also peak cinema because this is where like he tries
- 1:09:14Speaker 2: to confess his love to her or whatever, and Kia
- 1:09:17Speaker 2: goes on a very intelligent rant based and says, essentially
- 1:09:22Speaker 2: I'm paraphrasing because I'm not as smart or as gorgeous
- 1:09:25Speaker 2: as Kia. But she's like, you know, Kevin, I think
- 1:09:30Speaker 2: you're not ready for shit. You're not ready for a relationship.
- 1:09:33Speaker 2: I don't know why you even came on this show.
- 1:09:35Speaker 2: You're stupid. Basically, She's like, you need to figure your
- 1:09:39Speaker 2: shit out, get your shit together before you ever try
- 1:09:43Speaker 2: to come back into a relationship. Peace out.
- 1:09:46Speaker 1: I'm not interested by poor Kevaan's like, huh, what the
- 1:09:52Speaker 1: fuck just happened?
- 1:09:53Speaker 2: Got dunk by two? Oh my god. Queen behavior art
- 1:09:56Speaker 2: I love it, honestly, queen mannerism. I thought that was great.
- 1:09:59Speaker 1: Yeah, I loved it as well.
- 1:10:00Speaker 2: And she made a reference to the watch that she
- 1:10:02Speaker 2: gave him or something like maybe that'll help you in time,
- 1:10:06Speaker 2: like get your shit together. I don't know what she
- 1:10:08Speaker 2: said because it was so intelligent and I'm not doing
- 1:10:12Speaker 2: it justice.
- 1:10:12Speaker 1: It felt like she planned it. It felt like she knew.
- 1:10:15Speaker 1: I personally don't think she was ever super into him.
- 1:10:19Speaker 1: I think she was like, maybe this was one of
- 1:10:21Speaker 1: the primary or only connections that she had, so she
- 1:10:24Speaker 1: was working the connection. But she could obviously see that
- 1:10:28Speaker 1: Tyler was spiraling the entire time, so she knew what
- 1:10:31Speaker 1: was happening. She deduced that Tyler was dating Kevan, and
- 1:10:36Speaker 1: so I think she was behind the scenes just a
- 1:10:38Speaker 1: little bit orchestrating what she would do, and she wanted
- 1:10:41Speaker 1: to do like a boss move, which she did, and
- 1:10:45Speaker 1: irrespective of her motivation, I was here for it. I
- 1:10:48Speaker 1: loved it so much because Kevin sucks.
- 1:10:50Speaker 2: And he was totally trying to propose to somebody so
- 1:10:53Speaker 2: he could go to Cabo like everybody else, I guess,
- 1:10:55Speaker 2: but it's like.
- 1:10:56Speaker 1: He wants somebody to help him take care of his
- 1:10:58Speaker 1: mom on pay his bills or something, but.
- 1:11:00Speaker 2: Dude, grow up. I'm thirty man, Like, what are you doing?
- 1:11:05Speaker 2: So I did appreciate that. That was really fucking funny
- 1:11:08Speaker 2: that Kevon had two women wrapped around his finger and
- 1:11:10Speaker 2: both of them dumped his ass. Amazing. So the last
- 1:11:15Speaker 2: couple to become coupled is Mike and Emma, So Mike
- 1:11:20Speaker 2: and s Mike's like, I love you so much, Emma,
- 1:11:26Speaker 2: and Emma's like, you were always my number one. He
- 1:11:28Speaker 2: proposes they meet up. They meet up, and this was
- 1:11:32Speaker 2: kind of an interesting interaction because this is, like, I think,
- 1:11:36Speaker 2: the first time we saw Emma's scars, So they're pretty
- 1:11:39Speaker 2: extensive on her arm, and I'm not like shames the
- 1:11:41Speaker 2: first time he did we saw them? I don't think
- 1:11:44Speaker 2: we did.
- 1:11:44Speaker 1: We saw them the entire time. Then I wasn't paying
- 1:11:47Speaker 1: yeah that she was in the pod the entire time.
- 1:11:50Speaker 1: She was sleeveless for the most part the entire time,
- 1:11:52Speaker 1: so I clocked them right away. They were extensive.
- 1:11:55Speaker 2: Look, so this is the first time I guess I
- 1:11:57Speaker 2: saw him on display like that, and I was worried
- 1:12:01Speaker 2: for her because I'm like, what if Mike says some
- 1:12:03Speaker 2: shit about her scars. He didn't say anything. Then we
- 1:12:06Speaker 2: write it down, No, for real, don't we do read
- 1:12:09Speaker 2: it don with our pitchforks. But Mike says something interesting
- 1:12:13Speaker 2: where he says, yeah, I'm most beautiful or whatever. But
- 1:12:16Speaker 2: I've never been with an Asian. I've never been with
- 1:12:18Speaker 2: a person of color, and I'm like, Okay, what are
- 1:12:20Speaker 2: all men doing? M hmm, what are we doing here?
- 1:12:24Speaker 2: So I feel like she's attracted to Mike, but Mike
- 1:12:28Speaker 2: is not attracted to her.
- 1:12:29Speaker 1: I don't know. I felt like when Mike mentioned it
- 1:12:32Speaker 1: it had a different ring than when DeVante brought it up.
- 1:12:36Speaker 1: It was more of a perfunctory kind of the way
- 1:12:38Speaker 1: that Vic and Christine did it, like just like, yeah,
- 1:12:41Speaker 1: we have a different race. She's not a race that
- 1:12:43Speaker 1: I would normally date, but I'm into it. I love
- 1:12:46Speaker 1: her anyway. Like there wasn't the weight of what we
- 1:12:49Speaker 1: felt with Davante personally.
- 1:12:52Speaker 2: I don't know. The way he said it was kind
- 1:12:55Speaker 2: of just like hmm, interesting.
- 1:12:57Speaker 1: I mean he noticed it, but I mean, for right now,
- 1:13:00Speaker 1: I don't think it's an actual issue. It's something that
- 1:13:03Speaker 1: anybody would notice when they met and or dated a person,
- 1:13:06Speaker 1: which is fair, but we'll see how he handles it
- 1:13:08Speaker 1: going forward. What I thought was kind of weird was
- 1:13:13Speaker 1: when he was questioned about the scar, and I am sorry,
- 1:13:15Speaker 1: I don't know if it's this episode or the next one,
- 1:13:17Speaker 1: but like when he's questioned about the scar, whether that's
- 1:13:19Speaker 1: on camera or whatever, he's like, yeah, I was like whatever,
- 1:13:22Speaker 1: I didn't really notice it. I was just focused on her.
- 1:13:24Speaker 1: She's a beautiful girl, and that's wonderful. But it kind
- 1:13:29Speaker 1: of smacks as like I don't see color. It kind
- 1:13:32Speaker 1: of smacks as like, but I'm not looking at this
- 1:13:35Speaker 1: part of her that is so important to her life.
- 1:13:41Speaker 2: Like this is this is the badge.
- 1:13:43Speaker 1: That I wear because I have been through so much
- 1:13:46Speaker 1: fucking shit. Yeah, And for you to say like, yeah,
- 1:13:48Speaker 1: I didn't even see it's it's fine, I don't care
- 1:13:50Speaker 1: about it, it kind of invalidates this beautiful part of
- 1:13:53Speaker 1: her that she was sharing with him all the while.
- 1:13:56Speaker 1: And so for me in that moment, it was a
- 1:13:57Speaker 1: bit of a red flag. Yeah, I'm just I'm just
- 1:14:01Speaker 1: holding the flag up.
- 1:14:02Speaker 2: I don't know. It was kind of given, you know
- 1:14:04Speaker 2: what I mean. Yeah, I totally know what you mean,
- 1:14:06Speaker 2: because it was kind of giving to me, like that's
- 1:14:08Speaker 2: the response that you give when you're trying to be nice,
- 1:14:11Speaker 2: when you're maybe put off by it or like uncomfortable
- 1:14:16Speaker 2: by it. And like, I don't want to get into
- 1:14:19Speaker 2: a whole conversation about like scars and stuff like that. Like, obviously,
- 1:14:23Speaker 2: Emma's a beautiful woe. She made that her story. She
- 1:14:25Speaker 2: did make that her story. Her scars are extensive, there's
- 1:14:29Speaker 2: no doubt about that. And I think that's not the
- 1:14:31Speaker 2: only place she had them removed, so like she's got
- 1:14:34Speaker 2: them everywhere. I feel like Mike was just being nice.
- 1:14:38Speaker 2: I feel like Mike is just put off and like
- 1:14:40Speaker 2: not attracted. That's my vibe. And I that's sad.
- 1:14:44Speaker 1: That is sad. It makes me feel bad about.
- 1:14:46Speaker 2: That, and I feel bad. But also Emma was lying
- 1:14:50Speaker 2: to him and saying you're my number one and I
- 1:14:52Speaker 2: love you.
- 1:14:52Speaker 1: That's true.
- 1:14:53Speaker 2: She wanted to be with Connor.
- 1:14:54Speaker 1: Yeah, but that's just sad because she has been in relationship.
- 1:15:00Speaker 1: So she describes it where like people have dismissed and
- 1:15:04Speaker 1: devalued her because of her condition, Like this is a
- 1:15:09Speaker 1: theme in her life that she's very protective around, you know,
- 1:15:12Speaker 1: and she's protecting her She's trying to protect herself by
- 1:15:14Speaker 1: not divulging a lot of the information, and so just
- 1:15:18Speaker 1: to have that happen again with Mike would really suck.
- 1:15:22Speaker 1: But maybe it's not going to happen. But I just
- 1:15:24Speaker 1: like zooming out looking at Emma and looking at Mike.
- 1:15:28Speaker 2: Here again we.
- 1:15:28Speaker 1: Have a situation where this woman is so fucking far
- 1:15:31Speaker 1: out of his league. He looks like a gelatinous lumberjack.
- 1:15:35Speaker 1: He looks like he was fashioned out of wax in
- 1:15:37Speaker 1: the form of a lumberjack with a beard, and everything
- 1:15:40Speaker 1: I mean is, yes, is he a real person?
- 1:15:42Speaker 2: He's so gelatinous, generic, And then here she is.
- 1:15:46Speaker 1: She is so stunning, and I'm just like, oh God,
- 1:15:50Speaker 1: why do we have to end up with Mike. But
- 1:15:53Speaker 1: I mean, Emma has her own issues which I registered earlier,
- 1:15:57Speaker 1: and then like in the Pods too, let's not forget
- 1:15:59Speaker 1: she talked about like maxing out or credit.
- 1:16:01Speaker 2: Card yeah, and just being.
- 1:16:04Speaker 1: Very impulsive and a lot of different She's kind of
- 1:16:06Speaker 1: an immature young woman, kind of. I just my prediction
- 1:16:10Speaker 1: is this is not going to end with not at all.
- 1:16:13Speaker 1: But still I like Emma more than I like Mike.
- 1:16:16Speaker 1: That's fair, And I'm not a massandrist am I coming
- 1:16:18Speaker 1: off that way a little bit.
- 1:16:19Speaker 2: No, not at all. I love if anybody, if anything,
- 1:16:22Speaker 2: were misogynists, are from the people on.
- 1:16:25Speaker 1: Our You're internalized the mistogyny because you don't like Olivia.
- 1:16:29Speaker 2: Plus okay, whatever, So everybody's paired up. Now we're gonna
- 1:16:35Speaker 2: go and go to Cabo and also Malibu for some reason.
- 1:16:40Speaker 2: So we have talk about it. A few of the
- 1:16:42Speaker 2: couples going to Cabo, all of them except for one.
- 1:16:45Speaker 2: All of them except for Vic and Christine. Vic and
- 1:16:48Speaker 2: Christine are going to be a Malibu.
- 1:16:50Speaker 1: This is the couple that I'm really interested in. I
- 1:16:52Speaker 1: want to know about Christine and Vic.
- 1:16:54Speaker 2: I don't understand why they don't get to go to
- 1:16:56Speaker 2: Cabo with everybody else and get drunken party and make
- 1:16:59Speaker 2: a bunch of drama and fight like I want that. No,
- 1:17:02Speaker 2: they get to have their own beautiful resort in Malibu.
- 1:17:04Speaker 2: But I'm like, why do they stay in the States
- 1:17:08Speaker 2: and everybody else gets to go international? So I'm up
- 1:17:11Speaker 2: on then, Tony. There was several articles out and some
- 1:17:17Speaker 2: of them are probably bullshit. Okay, some of them are
- 1:17:20Speaker 2: like whatever, But the consensus was Netflix apparently didn't have
- 1:17:25Speaker 2: the money to send all of the couples to Cabo,
- 1:17:28Speaker 2: because this is the most couples that they've had in
- 1:17:31Speaker 2: a season. Allegedly, other people also said that Vick and
- 1:17:36Speaker 2: Christine are boring and that they're not going to be
- 1:17:39Speaker 2: very drama malicious, and so they stayed in Malibu because
- 1:17:42Speaker 2: they're not.
- 1:17:42Speaker 1: Going to make then you would send them to Cabo.
- 1:17:45Speaker 2: I don't know. I don't know. My theory is that
- 1:17:48Speaker 2: somebody's got a criminal record or something, or doesn't have
- 1:17:51Speaker 2: a passport or something.
- 1:17:52Speaker 1: Yeah, and I've seen that said that somebody because they
- 1:17:55Speaker 1: talked about it in the pods, like they talked about
- 1:17:57Speaker 1: their childhood, and we really didn't cover that, and we
- 1:17:59Speaker 1: don't they need to. But one of the things they
- 1:18:01Speaker 1: had in common was their drug charges. Drug charges and
- 1:18:05Speaker 1: like their previous shenanigans as teenagers, and so I'm just
- 1:18:09Speaker 1: wondering if some of those charges are sticking or something.
- 1:18:13Speaker 1: I don't know how that works since I'm not a criminal. Yeah,
- 1:18:16Speaker 1: maybe somebody couldn't travel to Mexico and so they had
- 1:18:19Speaker 1: to go to Malibu, But I don't know.
- 1:18:21Speaker 2: That's wild. It was really bizarre.
- 1:18:23Speaker 1: It's not because Netflix can't afford it, I know, trust me, but.
- 1:18:27Speaker 2: Like several like news agencies reported that that's a story
- 1:18:30Speaker 2: that Netflix is putting it because they don't want to
- 1:18:33Speaker 2: highlight the fact that somebody's got some charge, somebody's got
- 1:18:35Speaker 2: a criminal, or somebody doesn't have a passport or something.
- 1:18:39Speaker 2: It was bizarre. So they're out Malibu at some resort.
- 1:18:43Speaker 2: Everybody else gets to go to Cabo, and we have
- 1:18:46Speaker 2: like the first basically like the first night in Cabo,
- 1:18:49Speaker 2: and it's just the individual couples at this point, like
- 1:18:52Speaker 2: nobody's met each other yet. But you have Chris and Jessica.
- 1:18:55Speaker 2: They're fucking They're making out eyelashes, they're racking her eyelashes
- 1:19:01Speaker 2: are all up and down. His dick Davante is totally
- 1:19:05Speaker 2: repulsed by Brittany because she's a woman of color. He's like,
- 1:19:09Speaker 2: I can't thought she was gonna be white. I don't
- 1:19:11Speaker 2: care her name is Brittany. I thought she was gonna
- 1:19:13Speaker 2: be white. I don't know what I'm gonna do here.
- 1:19:16Speaker 2: We have Jordan and Amber, who are still kind of awkward,
- 1:19:19Speaker 2: but they're starting to like warm up to each other
- 1:19:20Speaker 2: because they're, yeah, they're having fun. Then we have motherfucking
- 1:19:27Speaker 2: Alex and Ashley, who we had to spend like fifteen
- 1:19:31Speaker 2: solid minutes watching them flirt with each other on the
- 1:19:36Speaker 2: couch and I was cringching.
- 1:19:39Speaker 1: Some like stop it this instan both of you.
- 1:19:42Speaker 2: Every five seconds, Alex says the same line, Man, your
- 1:19:45Speaker 2: eyes are dangerous. Don't look at me like that. That's
- 1:19:48Speaker 2: so dangerous, Like you don't want to know what I'm
- 1:19:51Speaker 2: gonna do to you because you keep looking at me
- 1:19:53Speaker 2: like that. And then she's like yes, sir.
- 1:19:56Speaker 1: And Christine Christine Ashley is just yeah, I'm very much
- 1:20:02Speaker 1: into sex and I just can't wait to discover sexually,
- 1:20:07Speaker 1: discover work with I'm just ready to crack. I'm just like,
- 1:20:13Speaker 1: this is the porn already, we're leading up to a porn.
- 1:20:15Speaker 2: Seat can't And so they're like basically fingering and hand
- 1:20:20Speaker 2: dropping each other under the blanket on the couch. We
- 1:20:23Speaker 2: have Connor and Breezy who are like flirting in bed.
- 1:20:25Speaker 2: They're about to have some drunk sex. Mike and Emma
- 1:20:28Speaker 2: are really awkward. They're just like two kids at a
- 1:20:31Speaker 2: sleepover in a bed because they're glad that they're in Cabo.
- 1:20:35Speaker 2: And then we have Jordan who brought a seapap and
- 1:20:38Speaker 2: that's how the episode. The next episode opens up is
- 1:20:42Speaker 2: like the next morning, what everybody? Episode six? This is
- 1:20:45Speaker 2: the last one, and the next morning, everybody is fucked
- 1:20:49Speaker 2: except for Brittany and DeVante, but we'll get to that.
- 1:20:51Speaker 2: But we start off with Jordan and Amber who are
- 1:20:54Speaker 2: like videoing themselves on their iPhones and they're like, yeah,
- 1:20:58Speaker 2: we fucked multiple times last night with and without the
- 1:21:01Speaker 2: seapep on, like stop, have some decorum. And then we
- 1:21:09Speaker 2: have Alex and Ashley, who have of course fucked multiple times.
- 1:21:15Speaker 2: That's all they have between like that's all they that's
- 1:21:17Speaker 2: literally only have And I think Alex is only fucking
- 1:21:19Speaker 2: her out of pity because we learn in this episode
- 1:21:21Speaker 2: that he's like not even attracted but to Ashley.
- 1:21:25Speaker 1: I thought he liked her the reveal and when they
- 1:21:29Speaker 1: were in Coppo and all the dangerous eyes and everything,
- 1:21:32Speaker 1: and so he just gets in he nuts and then
- 1:21:35Speaker 1: he's not into her anymore.
- 1:21:38Speaker 2: I don't know. I think he just wanted to get
- 1:21:40Speaker 2: his rocks off. But then, like we get into the
- 1:21:43Speaker 2: rest of the episodes, we have everybody meeting up. So
- 1:21:46Speaker 2: they meet up for dinner or something. I think it's
- 1:21:48Speaker 2: Connor's birthday or whatever, so they're celebrating his birthday. All
- 1:21:52Speaker 2: the couples are peered up together. They get to put
- 1:21:54Speaker 2: names to faces, and it's really interesting, especially for the
- 1:21:58Speaker 2: people that got dumped, like Emma who got dumped by
- 1:22:03Speaker 2: Breezy and Breezy who was interested in Chris, but I
- 1:22:08Speaker 2: think Chris had told her I'm not into you, I'm
- 1:22:12Speaker 2: into Jessica, And so she sees him paired up with.
- 1:22:14Speaker 1: Oh my god, Jessica because it's awesome, that's the perfect
- 1:22:16Speaker 1: matchup for you. Internally, Yeah, she's praging well.
- 1:22:20Speaker 2: And Breezy is also upset because while they're all meeting
- 1:22:24Speaker 2: each other for dinner, everybody's very superficial and like just
- 1:22:28Speaker 2: keeping it to small talk. And she's like, what the
- 1:22:31Speaker 2: FuG We had all these intimate conversations in the pods together,
- 1:22:35Speaker 2: we got like really deep. Why aren't we like honoring
- 1:22:39Speaker 2: that connection, like especially with like me and Chris, Like
- 1:22:42Speaker 2: why is which is called for?
- 1:22:44Speaker 1: Why isn't Chris chasing me right now and wanting to
- 1:22:47Speaker 1: have a private conversation and which he spills his heart
- 1:22:49Speaker 1: out to me?
- 1:22:50Speaker 2: And she's like, legit, upset about it. She keeps talking
- 1:22:53Speaker 2: about that, and she keeps bringing up Chris so, like
- 1:22:56Speaker 2: she talks about it with Connor privately after dinner. She's like,
- 1:22:59Speaker 2: I just think it's so weird that like Chris wouldn't
- 1:23:01Speaker 2: talk to me. He had such an intimate connection in
- 1:23:04Speaker 2: the Pods, and Connor is now becoming disillusioned. Sure, he
- 1:23:09Speaker 2: was like all in with Breezy for some reason in
- 1:23:12Speaker 2: the Pods, I think so I think he was all
- 1:23:14Speaker 2: in when they met. He's like, Oh, she's really cool
- 1:23:16Speaker 2: and pretty and like she's a bro and she's also hot.
- 1:23:20Speaker 2: I don't know, it'll be great. And then now he's
- 1:23:22Speaker 2: hearing from Breezy that he was a second choice, he
- 1:23:26Speaker 2: wasn't her first choice.
- 1:23:27Speaker 1: And also she's really interested in having a download with
- 1:23:31Speaker 1: Chris and like getting some closure. And he's like why
- 1:23:34Speaker 1: because for me, like as soon as I made the
- 1:23:36Speaker 1: decision that I didn't want to be with Emma, I
- 1:23:39Speaker 1: was just like, yeah, it's a no go. You know,
- 1:23:41Speaker 1: I've got another person that I'm focusing on, God bless,
- 1:23:44Speaker 1: but like we're not going to be a thing. So
- 1:23:46Speaker 1: it was very easy for him to disconnect. So why
- 1:23:48Speaker 1: is Breezy having such a hard time? Why does she
- 1:23:51Speaker 1: need to hear these things from Chris?
- 1:23:54Speaker 2: So much because she's in love with Chris and she's
- 1:23:57Speaker 2: not attracted to Connor.
- 1:23:58Speaker 1: It's the that's the second one.
- 1:24:00Speaker 2: First, that's what I think it is. And then we
- 1:24:02Speaker 2: also have Brittany when she meets everybody, she realizes that
- 1:24:06Speaker 2: all of the girls have gotten fucked, They've gotten railed
- 1:24:10Speaker 2: by celibacy.
- 1:24:12Speaker 1: So why is that a big deal? The problem for
- 1:24:14Speaker 1: Brittany is the fact that he doesn't want to fuck exactly,
- 1:24:18Speaker 1: why don't you want to fuck me? I ever in
- 1:24:20Speaker 1: all of my life met a man who didn't want
- 1:24:23Speaker 1: to get with this, So what is the problem? And
- 1:24:25Speaker 1: so I think that Davante is actually triggering in her
- 1:24:30Speaker 1: some insecurities that maybe she's not aware of and or
- 1:24:33Speaker 1: she's been hiding. But like his rejection of her is
- 1:24:36Speaker 1: like wait a minute, okay, so off fuck you? Then yeah,
- 1:24:39Speaker 1: like she gets all crazy, but she.
- 1:24:40Speaker 2: Does go on no that she totally does get all crazy.
- 1:24:43Speaker 2: Throughout the episode, She's like trying to be more affectionate
- 1:24:46Speaker 2: to Davante. She's getting upset because every morning when they
- 1:24:50Speaker 2: wake up in Cabo, he's like already out of bed.
- 1:24:53Speaker 2: He's like on the porch reading like an old man.
- 1:24:56Speaker 2: He's like not interested and even like giving her a
- 1:24:59Speaker 2: little pick in the morning, Good morning, babe, what's up?
- 1:25:01Speaker 1: Just like walking by, like at the pool or in
- 1:25:04Speaker 1: a crowd. He doesn't even acknowledge her.
- 1:25:06Speaker 2: Well, Like there's one scene where she's like in her
- 1:25:09Speaker 2: bikini and they're like in the hot tub together and
- 1:25:11Speaker 2: she's like straddling him and he's so repulsed with his big,
- 1:25:15Speaker 2: old dough body and you have this beautiful sorry, but
- 1:25:19Speaker 2: it's like you look like that and you're repulsed by
- 1:25:24Speaker 2: busty Brittany.
- 1:25:25Speaker 1: I mean sidebar as a lesbian, as the resident lesbian
- 1:25:30Speaker 1: voice for America, Like when you look at Brittany, are
- 1:25:33Speaker 1: you like, damn.
- 1:25:34Speaker 2: She's beautiful. Yeah, she's curvy, she's got a nice body.
- 1:25:38Speaker 2: She's an RN so she's smart, like and I'm just like.
- 1:25:42Speaker 1: She's got a sense of humor, she's engaged.
- 1:25:45Speaker 2: Yeah, Like there's so much that she's there's so much.
- 1:25:48Speaker 2: Am I wrong? No, you're not at all? And I'm like, dafante,
- 1:25:51Speaker 2: what is wrong with you? Dude? Like this is probably
- 1:25:53Speaker 2: the prettiest girl you'll ever get in your life. Your life, yes,
- 1:25:56Speaker 2: your life, who was like in love with you and
- 1:25:58Speaker 2: was willing to overlook your sweaty fatness and yet.
- 1:26:02Speaker 1: And your racism and your fucked up hair for real,
- 1:26:06Speaker 1: and that your clothing choices and they're fatty that your
- 1:26:09Speaker 1: grandfather died and you stayed at Love is Blind.
- 1:26:12Speaker 2: And well Grandpa would have wanted that that was his time.
- 1:26:15Speaker 1: Way put it in his will.
- 1:26:17Speaker 2: Please find your wife at Love's Middle. And so Brittany
- 1:26:22Speaker 2: is having a bit of a crisis, and honestly I
- 1:26:25Speaker 2: would too if, like I had heard from all the
- 1:26:28Speaker 2: other girls in Cabo, like they're all getting sucked multiple times.
- 1:26:34Speaker 2: Amber is fucking a guy with the sea pap stop it.
- 1:26:40Speaker 2: And Defonte won't even touch her, you like, won't even
- 1:26:43Speaker 2: initiate a kiss.
- 1:26:45Speaker 1: I've never had a hickey, And Brittany says, well, I'll
- 1:26:48Speaker 1: give you a hickey, and he's like, I don't want
- 1:26:50Speaker 1: a hickey.
- 1:26:52Speaker 2: He's disgusted, literally disgusted by her. And so I don't
- 1:26:56Speaker 2: blame her for having a crisis of self. And then
- 1:27:00Speaker 2: everybody does these like stupid booty ass excursions and then
- 1:27:03Speaker 2: they come back to the pool or whatever and they
- 1:27:05Speaker 2: play never have I ever, and then they all kind
- 1:27:07Speaker 2: of just disperse and talk amongst each other, and this
- 1:27:10Speaker 2: is where Alex is on the prowl. Because Alex reveals
- 1:27:15Speaker 2: to everybody that he is not attracted to girls like Ashley.
- 1:27:19Speaker 2: He doesn't normally go for girls that look like her
- 1:27:23Speaker 2: aka white and tall and skinned, blonde, light blonde feature,
- 1:27:29Speaker 2: likes dark features, he likes curvy girls. He does say that,
- 1:27:33Speaker 2: and he's like, Brittany is my ideal type. And so Brittany,
- 1:27:37Speaker 2: who is already desperate and crashing out because Davante won't
- 1:27:41Speaker 2: fuck her, she feels lonely, Alex is like scarre so
- 1:27:47Speaker 2: he goes over to talk to her and shoot his
- 1:27:50Speaker 2: shot with her, and he basically says that He's like, yeah.
- 1:27:53Speaker 1: Like you're really attractive, Like I noticed like DeVante is
- 1:27:56Speaker 1: not really giving you what you probably need, and like
- 1:27:59Speaker 1: I totally get it because I'm in a relationship as well,
- 1:28:01Speaker 1: and I don't know if, like I'm actually attracted already, yeah,
- 1:28:05Speaker 1: because like my tastes run toward exactly what you are,
- 1:28:09Speaker 1: as it turns out, and so like I feel like
- 1:28:11Speaker 1: we're in the same situation, right, Brittany. And Brittany's like
- 1:28:15Speaker 1: clocking him into the camera. She's like, oh, he's got
- 1:28:18Speaker 1: some dark energy. Yes, I'm worried about you, Ashley.
- 1:28:22Speaker 2: Oh god, I really hope that Brittany doesn't fall for
- 1:28:25Speaker 2: his stupid shome like worried that she will. I'm wordy too,
- 1:28:29Speaker 2: because she's desperate.
- 1:28:30Speaker 1: But yeah, I'm just gonna I'm gonna believe in our
- 1:28:33Speaker 1: girl Brittany because she clocks his dark energy. She calls
- 1:28:36Speaker 1: it out on camera. I think she has like loyalty
- 1:28:40Speaker 1: to her girls and to Ashley. I'm just gonna hope
- 1:28:43Speaker 1: that she doesn't do that, because Alex does not deserve it.
- 1:28:46Speaker 2: No, Anytha does Ashley, who is so sprung over Alex
- 1:28:49Speaker 2: and Ashley. She is smart, she knows, and she saw
- 1:28:54Speaker 2: his conversation with Brittany and she tries to confront him
- 1:28:57Speaker 2: about it later and he totally man explains the whole thing.
- 1:29:00Speaker 2: I mean, I don't know.
- 1:29:00Speaker 1: I'm a very dynamic person, so maybe somebody would take
- 1:29:03Speaker 1: it as flirting, like I don't think it wasn't that
- 1:29:05Speaker 1: it was actually flirting with anybody, but you know, like
- 1:29:08Speaker 1: I've got all.
- 1:29:08Speaker 2: This riz yeah and stuff like that.
- 1:29:10Speaker 1: I don't know what to do with it. I'm sure
- 1:29:12Speaker 1: somebody would be intimidated by all the shit I got
- 1:29:15Speaker 1: going on. And I'm just like, oh my god, let
- 1:29:17Speaker 1: me ask you this. Did it seem to you like
- 1:29:21Speaker 1: somebody had talked to Ashley about what Alex had done
- 1:29:26Speaker 1: with Brittany, Because it almost felt like somebody said, hey,
- 1:29:29Speaker 1: he was flirting with Brittany, and maybe it was Brittany.
- 1:29:31Speaker 2: I kind of feel like it was Brittany. Maybe Britney
- 1:29:33Speaker 2: told her, because Brittany brought up Ashley in her talking
- 1:29:36Speaker 2: head after her conversation with Alex and was like, I'm
- 1:29:39Speaker 2: worried about her because I know she's really into him,
- 1:29:43Speaker 2: and now he's over here talking to me about how
- 1:29:45Speaker 2: he's attracted to me. I kind of.
- 1:29:46Speaker 1: Feel like Brittany I wouldn't be surprised.
- 1:29:48Speaker 2: I'm hoping she did that because I'm hoping she's a
- 1:29:51Speaker 2: girl's girl and she doesn't just like try to steal him,
- 1:29:54Speaker 2: not like Ashley would be missing out on a prize
- 1:29:58Speaker 2: of a man like Alex because he sucks ask And
- 1:30:00Speaker 2: then we also have Breezy talking to Chris privately at
- 1:30:04Speaker 2: the pool because you know she's having some second thoughts
- 1:30:07Speaker 2: because I think she thinks Chris is more attractive than Connor,
- 1:30:11Speaker 2: which was like, when you pair the two of them,
- 1:30:12Speaker 2: I'm like they're.
- 1:30:13Speaker 1: Interchangeable, one half a dozen of the other.
- 1:30:16Speaker 2: I'm just like, I don't see what she sees. But
- 1:30:20Speaker 2: she seems really attracted to Chris for some reason.
- 1:30:23Speaker 1: Well because he does ice plunges and so do I, right,
- 1:30:25Speaker 1: But Connor doesn't want to do ice plunges, right.
- 1:30:28Speaker 2: His vigor for life is so attractive. They're like so
- 1:30:31Speaker 2: active and do things like I do things too, and
- 1:30:34Speaker 2: like we could do things together. And Chris is like, yeah,
- 1:30:36Speaker 2: you're like really cool, and he gives her a side rug.
- 1:30:40Speaker 2: You're really cool, dude. I'm like, are you into her?
- 1:30:43Speaker 2: Maybe he is. He also says something weird like, uh,
- 1:30:48Speaker 2: Connor seems like a very submissive man for you. Oh yes,
- 1:30:52Speaker 2: that's right, Like you need a more dominant man. And
- 1:30:55Speaker 2: of course Breezy is like instantly wet. She's like, oh
- 1:30:57Speaker 2: my god, yeah, I need a don at nass so bad.
- 1:31:02Speaker 2: I'm sorry. It's two hours of like I can't, I'm
- 1:31:05Speaker 2: losing my mind. Then we have Brittany at the end
- 1:31:10Speaker 2: of this episode confronting Davante on the fact, like why
- 1:31:13Speaker 2: don't you want to FuG me? Do you even want
- 1:31:15Speaker 2: to touch me? You want to finger me? At least
- 1:31:17Speaker 2: a little bit touches my love language.
- 1:31:20Speaker 1: I would really appreciate if you could at least touch
- 1:31:23Speaker 1: me just a.
- 1:31:24Speaker 2: Little bit so I know that you're not completely repulsed
- 1:31:27Speaker 2: by me. And Davante kind of crashes out a little
- 1:31:29Speaker 2: bit and he's like, well, but I don't want to
- 1:31:31Speaker 2: be like staying in bed all day. We're hearing Cobo
- 1:31:35Speaker 2: at this beautiful resort and you're just like laying in
- 1:31:37Speaker 2: bed like a lazy piece of shit, so bedrotting, Like
- 1:31:41Speaker 2: I want to get up and have my tea and
- 1:31:43Speaker 2: watch golf. Sure, Like okay, dude, yeah he sucks.
- 1:31:47Speaker 1: And also like when I'm quiet and just trying to
- 1:31:50Speaker 1: stay calm, he says that, I'm like, okay, calm, why,
- 1:31:54Speaker 1: Like what about this environment is making you want to
- 1:31:58Speaker 1: pop off that you're trying to be calm by being quiet.
- 1:32:01Speaker 1: I didn't understand that.
- 1:32:03Speaker 2: It's Britney's race.
- 1:32:04Speaker 1: He's a racist and it was kissing me off. Did
- 1:32:07Speaker 1: you have an ounce of melanin? Like, oh my god,
- 1:32:10Speaker 1: I thought you were gonna be a white chick. And
- 1:32:12Speaker 1: I'm mad that's what it feels like.
- 1:32:15Speaker 2: And then we get to the preview for I think
- 1:32:17Speaker 2: the rest of the season or just the next couple
- 1:32:19Speaker 2: of episodes. I don't know, it seemed like it was
- 1:32:21Speaker 2: the rest of the season. But we have Breezy visiting
- 1:32:24Speaker 2: Connor's disgusting bachelor pad. That's a complete fucking mess.
- 1:32:29Speaker 1: Connor, What is happening with you? Dumpster sales guy?
- 1:32:32Speaker 2: You were in your thirties, you live in.
- 1:32:34Speaker 1: A dumpster That's disgusting.
- 1:32:38Speaker 2: Then we have Christine and Vic that are in Malibu
- 1:32:41Speaker 2: by themselves. She's asking him a very important question about
- 1:32:44Speaker 2: if he's okay having a white woman be the mother
- 1:32:48Speaker 2: of his kids, and he kind of hesitates a little bit,
- 1:32:51Speaker 2: so I really hope that's not like a deal breaker
- 1:32:53Speaker 2: for him. We have Ashley and Alex going to dinner
- 1:32:57Speaker 2: with Ashley's dad, which I loved because he's gonna clock out.
- 1:33:02Speaker 2: Oh my god, he clogs him so hard.
- 1:33:04Speaker 1: Yep.
- 1:33:05Speaker 2: He says something like, you need to convince me that
- 1:33:07Speaker 2: you're genuinely in love with my daughter, and Alex tries
- 1:33:10Speaker 2: to be like, yeah, I really love her and actually
- 1:33:13Speaker 2: a flower and bloom. Seriously, ashley dad is like, Nope,
- 1:33:18Speaker 2: not good enough, right baste, and then Ashley cries about it.
- 1:33:23Speaker 2: Then we also have Jordan, who is nervous about being
- 1:33:26Speaker 2: in Amber's kids' life, like as a father figure or whatever,
- 1:33:32Speaker 2: and then it looks like he leaves or tries to
- 1:33:36Speaker 2: like break up with her, I don't know. We also
- 1:33:39Speaker 2: have Jessica asking Chris to just like, I don't know,
- 1:33:43Speaker 2: text me more like it seems like you don't text
- 1:33:46Speaker 2: me a lot, and Chris is like, I'm not a
- 1:33:48Speaker 2: big texter. Meanwhile, he's literally blowing up Breezy's phone textinger
- 1:33:53Speaker 2: while she's in bed with Connor.
- 1:33:55Speaker 1: Wild Breeze, he's little man.
- 1:33:59Speaker 2: They're the it's always the little ones, a little diabolical
- 1:34:03Speaker 2: little gnomes around. Breeze's also reconsidering her relationship with Connor,
- 1:34:10Speaker 2: probably because he's a dumpster goblin and she's not into it.
- 1:34:13Speaker 2: And he's also fat. He's not fat, no I know,
- 1:34:17Speaker 2: but compared to Chris, who's athletic and does things.
- 1:34:20Speaker 1: He's skinny fat like he's skinny fat like he's skinny,
- 1:34:23Speaker 1: but he's not in shape. He's got no muscles. Did
- 1:34:25Speaker 1: you see his legs the offense, No, let's stop right there,
- 1:34:28Speaker 1: go on.
- 1:34:29Speaker 2: I did see his legs. Maybe Breezy saw them and
- 1:34:32Speaker 2: was like yuck, stop, But it does seem like Connor
- 1:34:39Speaker 2: kicks Breezy out so like it seems like they were
- 1:34:42Speaker 2: doing the trial, were.
- 1:34:43Speaker 1: Not with his actual legs because he could they're not.
- 1:34:48Speaker 2: Straying starting up. He kicks her out, and Breezey's like
- 1:34:53Speaker 2: what the fuck? She probably goes and bangs Connor, bangs
- 1:34:56Speaker 2: Chris the other generic white guy, and then we have
- 1:34:59Speaker 2: the in four weeks. So I'm excited about this. This
- 1:35:03Speaker 2: is where I love Love is Blind. It's so good
- 1:35:06Speaker 2: when they visit, like the families and the houses and.
- 1:35:09Speaker 1: The relatives, the dads who can clock the players.
- 1:35:13Speaker 2: So good.
- 1:35:14Speaker 1: Yeah, I'm interested to see what Vic's sister, who by
- 1:35:17Speaker 1: the way, protected their mother from a domestic abuser. Like,
- 1:35:22Speaker 1: I want to see this woman come in and clock
- 1:35:24Speaker 1: what's going on with Christine because if there's anything under
- 1:35:27Speaker 1: the hood with Christine, I think that sister's going to
- 1:35:29Speaker 1: get to it.
- 1:35:30Speaker 2: I think so too. I'm intrigued.
- 1:35:32Speaker 1: What about you guys? Are you enjoying it?
- 1:35:34Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 1:35:35Speaker 1: Are you watching?
- 1:35:36Speaker 2: Recap is long? No?
- 1:35:37Speaker 1: I mean it has to be because we were covering
- 1:35:39Speaker 1: six episodes and stuff like that. The next time, I
- 1:35:41Speaker 1: think our recap's going to cover three episodes. So it'll
- 1:35:44Speaker 1: be shorter, probably not as long. And then I think
- 1:35:46Speaker 1: the next installment is two episodes and then a reunion. Yeah,
- 1:35:50Speaker 1: I want to say, and I want to see the weddings. Yeah,
- 1:35:53Speaker 1: but we're just having fun. It's a good time. A
- 1:35:55Speaker 1: lot of these are train wrecks. It's happening in Ohio
- 1:35:59Speaker 1: and all that note, I would like to conclude by saying,
- 1:36:02Speaker 1: I'm sorry, Ohio. I bet a lot of you listening
- 1:36:04Speaker 1: and watching you're from Ohio. I've got great friends from Ohio.
- 1:36:08Speaker 1: I've been to Ohio and there are parts of Ohio
- 1:36:12Speaker 1: that are actually stunning and beautiful their courtside. The Midwest
- 1:36:15Speaker 1: is pretty, honey. People underrate the Midwest. Oh Ohio's great.
- 1:36:20Speaker 1: I didn't mean to offend anybody, but I'm just saying,
- 1:36:24Speaker 1: some of these, all.
- 1:36:25Speaker 2: Of these dudes, all of them, all of it.
- 1:36:29Speaker 1: Of these dudes mid af basic af.
