Transcript
- 0:04Hey everybody, I'm just gonna do a quick news segment for everybody since we're
- 0:08having an off week, so I just want to do some quick news.
- 0:12And our first news story comes to us from the Roddenberry archives, and if
- 0:20you have not seen this yet, I strongly recommend going to Roddenberry dot x
- 0:25dot io and they have created virtual walkthroughs of a lot of sets and it's
- 0:33pretty cool. So this is the the Enterprise from the Cage and you can
- 0:40kind of look around and see around on here. It's pretty neat. We
- 0:45also have other sets on here, so look at that. That's one of
- 0:50the newer sets. It's a pretty fun little thing. Um. They've got
- 0:56just literally hundreds and hundreds of them. You can just scroll through through and
- 1:00find a bunch of them. And they've got chips, they've got um you
- 1:07can see the outside of different ships from different episodes. That's pretty fun.
- 1:11So yeah, if you go to Roddenberry dot x dot io, they're all
- 1:15there and it's it's pretty neat. So yeah. Um. Then our other
- 1:23news story comes to us from in Gadgets, and for those of you who
- 1:30have been waiting for Star Trek games, some new Star Trek games are coming
- 1:36pretty soon. Let me show you this. So here we go in gadget.
- 1:42We are going to be getting on May twenty third, a Telltale esque
- 1:48narrative adventure set in the TNG timeline. So that's pretty cool. It's called
- 1:53Star Trek Resurgence again May twenty third, its launching. This will be available
- 1:59on basically all the main consoles PS four or five, Xbox one, Xbox
- 2:05X, Xbox Series C, or s PC and in the Epic Game Store.
- 2:10It's not seeing it on switch, but there you go. This is
- 2:14the same company who did The Walking Dead and The Wolf among us. It
- 2:17looks pretty fun. So yeah, I know a lot of people are very
- 2:22excited about this all. Look at this, Look at this. We've got
- 2:30people commenting, uh loompa Fett. This is a new new caller. Yes,
- 2:36everybody loves Dan. He is the favorite. We have done the marketing
- 2:38numbers and he is the favorite. Absolutely. I think it's because he brings
- 2:44in all the dogs. And then our last news story comes to us from
- 2:47space dot com. And if you like playing board games, a new one
- 2:52is coming from Funco Games called Star Trek Cryptid. It will be released sometimes
- 2:59this summer. Is what they're saying. It's going to be basically their take
- 3:04at a home style escape rooms type thing. It's come in this June.
- 3:08It's just full of different puzzles that you can play because you can see like
- 3:13there's like a little Dacoders and all that. There's all these neat little pieces.
- 3:16So there's just a bunch of puzzles that you play as you. Apparently
- 3:20the point is to climb the corporate ladder of Starfleet, so you're trying to
- 3:25get a higher rank and that's how you win the game. I don't see
- 3:30a price point for this game just yet, so as soon as we know
- 3:32that, we will let you know. But if you're into board games like
- 3:37I am, this could be a fun game for you. But yeah,
- 3:42so I just wanted to do that quick news segment for you guys, just
- 3:45to give you something. We'll be back next week. We're working on some
- 3:47fun stuff for you guys, and I hope to see you guys next week.
- 3:52Have a great day. Bye. This is Captain Benjamin Cisco of Deep
- 3:58Space nine and Space God to the Bajorans. I have a mission for you.
