- 4:26[SPEAKER_05]: This is the hot line on a drill 40 WAT and good afternoon.
- 4:30[SPEAKER_05]: You want to what a great show.
- 4:31[SPEAKER_05]: We had yesterday with Anthony Constantino, Mr. Constantino, not Anthony as they call him down the street.
- 4:37[SPEAKER_05]: But he's come on.
- 4:40[SPEAKER_05]: Anyway, it's just watching the interview that he did over on Channel 7's digital desk.
- 4:46[SPEAKER_05]: I thought he did a good job on that.
- 4:47[SPEAKER_05]: You know, he had a couple mistakes.
- 4:49[SPEAKER_05]: I asked him where he was born.
- 4:54[SPEAKER_05]: you know i thought it was pretty good interview as was the one a couple weeks earlier we'd like to be as far as i'm concerned i feel my obligation to fairness and last management tells me otherwise okay i thought we did a good job now don't forget the harvest festival as weekend over at the fairgrounds the elix duffy fairgrounds right up the street for more i'm sitting uh... friday saturday and sundy friday for the nine saturday twelve to nine and sundy twelve to four
- 5:22[SPEAKER_05]: They got rides, they got fenders, they got live music, they got all sorts of things, and they got the devil's brew, beer, I don't know who's selling it, I don't know what kind of beer it is even.
- 5:35[SPEAKER_05]: That's on a need to know basis incidentally.
- 5:38[SPEAKER_05]: So anyway, harvest festival this weekend, and looks like fairly good weather.
- 5:44[SPEAKER_05]: and put on by community broadcasters as well as the city of water town parks and recreation department great people there no doubt about it although as with most city events they don't like it publicize them so I'll do it for them okay yeah you
- 6:02[SPEAKER_05]: 755 1240 the phone well actually somebody from their was supposed to come in sand yet lined it up by and guess who next that one oh my god i was looking you know i know we're not supposed to mention other media and everybody gets mad to competitive business but then there was there was a cartoon or meme or something on water town posts this one it was kind of kind of harsh towards the ex city manager and all that you know
- 6:31[SPEAKER_05]: most people are read all of that, but still it's something, wow, wow.
- 6:36[SPEAKER_05]: Other things going on in the news, let's see, of course, that national news, international news.
- 6:46[SPEAKER_05]: The plane fly Dubai, the, I'm not saying, for people who can't afford to be on the Emirates airline with the fancy
- 6:54[SPEAKER_05]: This is a little less, more of a commuter amount.
- 6:57[SPEAKER_05]: Anyway, a lot of people on the plane going from Dubai to Tel Aviv.
- 7:01[SPEAKER_05]: Those are places in the Middle East.
- 7:03[SPEAKER_05]: And remember the flight crew, copilot, they say, right to come in here, the plane and crash it.
- 7:12[SPEAKER_05]: He stabbed the regular pilot and put the plane into a dive.
- 7:23[SPEAKER_05]: I'm told by aviation experts, that's enough to induce a involuntary bowel movement.
- 7:28[SPEAKER_05]: But wow, and fortunately, the passengers and others said, let's roll and they took back the plane and it landed safely and everybody's okay.
- 7:41[SPEAKER_05]: I was watching, it was a lot of coverage over on Fox, but I'd see an end this morning, they weren't talking, they were talking about it all the three-year-old sexual assault at Cornell.
- 7:51[SPEAKER_05]: Oh my god, Cornell, how could that happen?
- 7:53[SPEAKER_05]: They're woke down there.
- 7:54[SPEAKER_05]: They don't sexually assault anyone if they did.
- 7:56[SPEAKER_05]: But anyway, um, yeah, that's a thing.
- 8:00[SPEAKER_05]: Taken over the cockpit.
- 8:01[SPEAKER_05]: Remember the flight over Shanksville?
- 8:04[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, wasn't it?
- 8:07[SPEAKER_05]: Same thing where the guy said, let's roll.
- 8:11[SPEAKER_05]: I thought it was.
- 8:12[SPEAKER_05]: My memory is doing so well.
- 8:16[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
- 8:21[SPEAKER_05]: I didn't know this was a part of New York politics, still recently, but I followed it in other cities where it's routinely abused.
- 8:27[SPEAKER_05]: The idea of matching funds for political campaigns, because campaigns are so expensive.
- 8:32[SPEAKER_05]: The government, you know, get a $25 donation, they match it to the tune of $250.
- 8:38[SPEAKER_05]: And I hate to say it.
- 8:44[SPEAKER_05]: I hate to say it.
- 8:47[SPEAKER_05]: But we probably shouldn't be taking that.
- 8:52[SPEAKER_05]: Mark Walls, it is bragging about it, so is that Tammy?
- 8:55[SPEAKER_05]: Tammy, now but one, if you're nice people, I like them, but holy cow, you know, one thing for the Democrats to be on welfare, but the Republicans too, standing at the trough, swerping up the money, they don't even need the money, they're going to get reelected anyway, but this matching funds, can you imagine if someone proposed matching funds for our city elections?
- 9:21[SPEAKER_05]: And if Cliff only raised 50 bucks he got 500 wouldn't, there would be outrage to the outrage.
- 9:29[SPEAKER_05]: Remember how much outrage it was about whether anybody gets medical benefits or pay raise or something like that to do their job?
- 9:40[SPEAKER_05]: We've, you know, batted enough said, but matching funds, those candidates are on welfare.
- 9:51[SPEAKER_05]: They're going to get elected but they're on welfare period.
- 9:55[SPEAKER_05]: Um, I guess all of our troops are out of Iraq.
- 9:58[SPEAKER_05]: That's good.
- 9:59[SPEAKER_05]: Let's get them out of Jordan and everywhere else too.
- 10:03[SPEAKER_05]: I'm, I'm for Fortress America.
- 10:06[SPEAKER_05]: I build a, when we used to have a moat called the oceans around us.
- 10:12[SPEAKER_09]: Yeah.
- 10:15[SPEAKER_05]: We need to do that again.
- 10:17[SPEAKER_05]: What else is going on?
- 10:20[SPEAKER_05]: aren't currently being considered for the Nobel Peace Prize a Canadian prime minister or that'll that'll take off from oh let's see prison population dropping in New York I guess we got less through the criminals what else
- 10:49[SPEAKER_05]: Well, I don't know what else, what other issues?
- 10:52[SPEAKER_05]: Well, here's something I disagree with.
- 10:54[SPEAKER_05]: And I thought Mr. Constantino did a good job on the show.
- 10:57[SPEAKER_05]: I thought he handled the hostile questions from Channel 7 pretty well, too.
- 11:03[SPEAKER_05]: Man, their questions are like, long and secure to us.
- 11:08[SPEAKER_05]: There's something he said for brevity.
- 11:12[SPEAKER_05]: But anyway, one of the things the Constantino is putting out is in a donate his entire salary to the family of a wounded veteran.
- 11:19[SPEAKER_05]: How about a saving puppies, a abuse puppies?
- 11:24[SPEAKER_05]: Or, you know, well, first respond to who got shoved in a restaurant.
- 11:28[SPEAKER_05]: Have I, I don't care what you want?
- 11:29[SPEAKER_05]: No, you should take the money if you want to donate things private,
- 11:40[SPEAKER_05]: That doesn't send the right message to voters who are struggling, they do need the money.
- 11:46[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
- 11:49[SPEAKER_05]: When I give the money to some small businesses or something like that, not for profits.
- 11:55[SPEAKER_05]: They got all the money they need.
- 11:57[SPEAKER_05]: But I don't agree with that campaign tactic.
- 11:59[SPEAKER_05]: Now, about these debates, debates we call them, is a lot of dispute in the media.
- 12:04[SPEAKER_05]: They don't want to run stories saying that gender being won't compete in a debate because they want gender being, obviously, the fake media, fake news we call them.
- 12:15[SPEAKER_05]: But no, I think the gender being campaign has made a tactical decision to stay out of debates.
- 12:20[SPEAKER_05]: They figure, maybe they figure their head, maybe that's their calculus.
- 12:24[SPEAKER_05]: from their polling.
- 12:25[SPEAKER_05]: You know, they're both candidates, stood in this studio and told me to my face, our poll show on the head, I'm winning.
- 12:31[SPEAKER_05]: Well, somebody's wrong.
- 12:35[SPEAKER_05]: So anyway, I think the agenda being campaigner is to say, we're not gonna give the guy publicity.
- 12:42[SPEAKER_05]: You might take a little bit of a hit in a new story here and there about not competing, but the media will go along with it.
- 12:49[SPEAKER_05]: They'll use the excuse well we don't understand the format or we don't know who's sponsoring it.
- 12:55[SPEAKER_05]: Or he's too erratic a character, they'll use a lot of excuses, he should be on TV.
- 13:00[SPEAKER_05]: This is an open seat race, nobody knows either of the candidates.
- 13:04[SPEAKER_05]: So it's an open seat race and I think they should be right here, side by side, I don't care.
- 13:12[SPEAKER_05]: You know, I prefer a decor of the North Country, I certainly think I could moderate it.
- 13:19[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, I don't know.
- 13:20[SPEAKER_05]: I would say that maybe gender being and his people is, you know, he's got people that are spending campaigns all over the country.
- 13:29[SPEAKER_05]: I'm running it.
- 13:29[SPEAKER_05]: Maybe they feel we're ahead.
- 13:33[SPEAKER_05]: We'll write it out.
- 13:34[SPEAKER_05]: We'll take a couple of dings in the media for not competing, but they are the media.
- 13:38[SPEAKER_05]: It's not going to go too hard on us because they like us in the end.
- 13:42[SPEAKER_05]: They like us.
- 13:43[SPEAKER_05]: Yes.
- 13:44[SPEAKER_05]: So, um,
- 13:46[SPEAKER_05]: I think that's what's going to happen.
- 13:47[SPEAKER_05]: There probably will be no debates in the other races.
- 13:51[SPEAKER_05]: I mean, like, a tiny race, I've heard it.
- 13:53[SPEAKER_05]: I texted a Claudia, a tiny yes, we invited her on the show.
- 13:57[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, we haven't seen her in a while.
- 14:00[SPEAKER_05]: And I told her, I don't even know you're opponent.
- 14:02[SPEAKER_05]: I'm not saying any, I'm not saying I'm a big deal, but I'm a moderately important influencer and all of that.
- 14:11[SPEAKER_05]: And I can remet that one.
- 14:13[SPEAKER_05]: I don't even know who she
- 14:16[SPEAKER_05]: Senate 49, you know, that 49 district or whatever she is, she doesn't know what she's running for.
- 14:21[SPEAKER_05]: She's running for the Senate D seat in district 49.
- 14:24[SPEAKER_05]: She's not running for district 49.
- 14:28[SPEAKER_05]: Maybe it's semantics.
- 14:29[SPEAKER_05]: Maybe I'm a nut, but what is it with these people?
- 14:32[SPEAKER_05]: Are you going to get into politics at least?
- 14:34[SPEAKER_05]: No, what you're running for and make the sense to go talk to some of the influencers or all of that?
- 14:41[SPEAKER_05]: I can't even tell you their names.
- 14:45[SPEAKER_15]: But after noon you're on the air, I just want to say yesterday, great interview, I agree with most of what Mr. Constitino says, I cannot hold on his district if I could.
- 15:00[SPEAKER_15]: I would, what, once he's in Congress, and like says he run for another
- 15:16[SPEAKER_05]: no, you can't.
- 15:18[SPEAKER_15]: So I can't vote against Schumer and them guys.
- 15:21[SPEAKER_05]: Oh, Schumer.
- 15:22[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
- 15:22[SPEAKER_05]: I mean, he's running for Senator for him.
- 15:27[SPEAKER_05]: That's all of New York state.
- 15:28[SPEAKER_05]: Schumer will not be reelected in 28.
- 15:31[SPEAKER_05]: One or two things will happen.
- 15:34[SPEAKER_05]: AOC may run for Senator if she doesn't run for President.
- 15:39[SPEAKER_05]: And if she runs for Senate, she will be in.
- 15:42[SPEAKER_05]: And if not her or that other
- 15:46[SPEAKER_15]: congressman from New York City that's just a name one good thing she stands for a.o.c.a.a.a.a.a.a.a.a.a.a.a.a.a.a.a.a.a.a.a.a.a.a.a.a.a.a.a.a.a.a.a.a.a.a.a.a.a.a.a.a.a.a.a.a.a.a.a.a.a.a.a.a.a.a.a.a.a.a.a.a.a.a.a.a.a.a.a.a.a.a.a.a.a.a.a.a.a.a.a.a.a.a.a.a.a.a.a.a.a.a.a.a.a.a.a.a.a.a.
- 16:15[SPEAKER_05]: Why are they standing, why are they standing out in the street in the water, why don't they go up on the stairs next door?
- 16:21[SPEAKER_05]: I don't understand that, but that's another story.
- 16:23[SPEAKER_15]: They want the biggest, better shot of the waves.
- 16:26[SPEAKER_05]: Oh, I don't know.
- 16:26[SPEAKER_05]: I mean, standing at eight inches of water, big deal.
- 16:31[SPEAKER_05]: Well, AOC, I don't know.
- 16:34[SPEAKER_05]: I mean, if you want the standard Democratic line, she's good.
- 16:38[SPEAKER_05]: I mean, she repeats all the phrases.
- 16:41[SPEAKER_05]: She's getting better.
- 16:43[SPEAKER_05]: and uh... she had an upstate tour just and it she went to buffalo etica and Syracuse she said she loves Syracuse i wanted to come up here i'm not saying i obviously had like to it my business i think it would be good for business but if she what doesn't want to do that i would say i know there's a standing invitation from the town of pink me highway super intended to come to barns corners and uh... i'm sure she'd be well received there
- 17:11[SPEAKER_15]: I don't know.
- 17:13[SPEAKER_15]: I don't know.
- 17:14[SPEAKER_15]: I like what Mr. Kant's team of stands for, but I can't vote for him, but I'd like what he stands for and I hope he's in, uh, gifts into the Congress.
- 17:24[SPEAKER_05]: Okay.
- 17:25[SPEAKER_05]: Well, thank you.
- 17:26[SPEAKER_15]: Thanks, man.
- 17:28[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
- 17:29[SPEAKER_05]: No, I thought he, uh, a little different style and cadence and some people.
- 17:36[SPEAKER_05]: And obviously, uh, slowing down a little doesn't hurt, but no, I thought he was, uh,
- 17:41[SPEAKER_05]: You know, he stays on message, you know, some of it's transgender flaggy hallucinates about, I don't know where it is, where is it?
- 17:52[SPEAKER_05]: Anyway, says it's in front of gender beings campaign headquarters.
- 17:55[SPEAKER_05]: I don't even know where it is, but Democrats are all about transgender.
- 18:03[SPEAKER_05]: So whatever, but as far as AOC's upstate tour,
- 18:08[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, Buffalo, Ethica, and Syracuse, and just wearing a bill's sweatshirt at one point.
- 18:16[SPEAKER_05]: Maybe that's a start, but she needs to do more if she's going to ring great shade herself to upstick.
- 18:21[SPEAKER_05]: Funny thing, when Schumer ran in 99, he won the race against Demato.
- 18:27[SPEAKER_05]: He got the standard 32% in Jefferson County, but he worked at in subsequent years and did quite well up here.
- 18:34[SPEAKER_05]: so uh... she's got to do the same thing she's got to show up i think she'd be a big hit in barren scorners i think they'd love her down there they'd give her a ride in a snow plow take her over to tuggers uh... all sorts of things it'd be uh... an epic day in that little hamlet down there yeah okay well seven five five twelve forty the phone number if you'd like to give us a call to be on the show of shows today and uh... what else we got
- 19:06[SPEAKER_05]: Oh, boy, they're not too much else.
- 19:13[SPEAKER_05]: I see on news junkie, they've got that interview with Charlie Caprera up again.
- 19:17[SPEAKER_05]: I'm telling you that, you really should listen to it.
- 19:21[SPEAKER_05]: I mean, it's a really great insight into how to build a successful business and insight into sort of a legendary local business.
- 19:31[SPEAKER_05]: So, you know, whether you buy cars from cappers and not that sure business, there's a lot of fine dealers out there.
- 19:37[SPEAKER_05]: But it's very interesting to listen to, so go to news junkie and listen to that, okay?
- 19:44[SPEAKER_05]: All right.
- 19:45[SPEAKER_05]: You know, water?
- 19:46[SPEAKER_05]: What else you got to do?
- 19:48[SPEAKER_05]: If you're listening to this show, you obviously have free time in your hand, so come on.
- 19:52[SPEAKER_05]: Come on, man.
- 19:54[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
- 19:55[SPEAKER_05]: Come on.
- 19:56[SPEAKER_05]: Oh, what else have we got here?
- 20:04[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, we've talked about the great issues of the day.
- 20:11[SPEAKER_05]: Oh, to get that lawnmowered over on Massie Street yet.
- 20:16[SPEAKER_05]: Yep.
- 20:16[SPEAKER_05]: Thanks for that.
- 20:18[SPEAKER_05]: Thanks for that.
- 20:20[SPEAKER_05]: You know, we were pushing for that.
- 20:21[SPEAKER_05]: What was it?
- 20:22[SPEAKER_05]: What was the address again?
- 20:25[SPEAKER_05]: Three, twenty.
- 20:25[SPEAKER_05]: Three, twenty.
- 20:26[SPEAKER_05]: True.
- 20:26[SPEAKER_05]: Anyway, there's a house on Massie Street and overgrown, of course, the city come in and do it.
- 20:34[SPEAKER_05]: Well, good, good, good.
- 20:36[SPEAKER_05]: Well, we pushed a little on the hotline.
- 20:38[SPEAKER_05]: Hopefully we got it done for you.
- 20:41[SPEAKER_05]: Yep.
- 20:42[SPEAKER_05]: Okay.
- 20:43[SPEAKER_05]: All right.
- 20:44[SPEAKER_05]: That's our FedEx driver now salesman.
- 20:47[SPEAKER_05]: 755-1240 is the phone number.
- 20:49[SPEAKER_05]: If you'd like to give us a call, to be on the show of show is today.
- 20:52[SPEAKER_05]: Then what else we got?
- 20:58[SPEAKER_24]: Now that thing at Cornell.
- 21:00[SPEAKER_05]: That's a that's a that's a beautiful city first and obviously looking at some of the a video of it The university and all it's beautiful down it But they're crazy in that town So anyway they had a frat party or something a couple years ago and some chick went and Yeah, I don't know She had a Well, he got out of hand it shouldn't have happened and they were wrong to do it
- 21:28[SPEAKER_05]: I don't know whether they gave her roofies or prey to them or what they did.
- 21:31[SPEAKER_05]: I don't know what they were doing.
- 21:32[SPEAKER_05]: But the college investigated under Title IX and determined there was nothing and I guess a couple of the kids got expelled and it moved on.
- 21:43[SPEAKER_05]: But then a couple of years later, you know, when I'm sure this is what happened with that Casablanca case, you know, it was all settled and it was all pleaded out and then
- 21:54[SPEAKER_05]: People get to the, uh, in that case, it was a female BCI investor here, but they get to the so-called victim and they say, well, you can get, you know, you got to get justice out of this.
- 22:03[SPEAKER_05]: You were wrong.
- 22:04[SPEAKER_05]: You got to get money.
- 22:06[SPEAKER_05]: Now, I'd rather have money over justice any time.
- 22:09[SPEAKER_05]: It's not had a cup of that justice for breakfast and it wasn't very filling.
- 22:13[SPEAKER_05]: So, but anyway, it's come up again in a civil suit, now all of a sudden, the D.A.
- 22:19[SPEAKER_05]: of Tom Kins County under political pressure says he's reopening the investigation and going to present it to a grand jury of 23 souls were going to decide.
- 22:30[SPEAKER_05]: And the governor's weighing in and the attorney general and everybody's for the women all of that.
- 22:36[SPEAKER_05]: But at the time,
- 22:38[SPEAKER_05]: It was determined there was no issue with consent and it was, you know, whatever, no law was broken, even though what happened was wrong, taking advantage of the situation as we did.
- 22:52[SPEAKER_05]: But there are Cornell students, I believe, don't, you know, and they're all woke, so it was, you know, even though we think woke people are all about the women and all that they aren't, they like to get laid like everybody else, so that's what happened
- 23:08[SPEAKER_05]: And now it's become a political issue, maybe it'll die down after the election.
- 23:15[SPEAKER_05]: I don't know.
- 23:19[SPEAKER_05]: Here's something you've got to worry about.
- 23:20[SPEAKER_05]: New York is going to recommend workforce policies in the age of AI or SIS, the president calls it, artificial intelligence.
- 23:29[SPEAKER_05]: What does New York know about workforce anything?
- 23:36[SPEAKER_05]: They don't.
- 23:38[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, I could tell you some stuff about the state in New York and some of their agencies and it would curl your toes.
- 23:48[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, we're after doing it on the air.
- 23:53[SPEAKER_09]: Hey, man, Graham, it's gunna.
- 23:54[SPEAKER_05]: Hey, good to hear.
- 23:56[SPEAKER_05]: You're the guy, everybody hates.
- 23:59[SPEAKER_09]: Yeah, no.
- 24:00[SPEAKER_09]: Well, you kind of experienced the same thing if you're not a cheerleader.
- 24:05[SPEAKER_09]: You don't say the right thing, then people get mad at you and they stay mad at you.
- 24:09[SPEAKER_09]: There's an awful lot of people living in that free stuff stuff, but on the top end, that don't like to hear it.
- 24:18[SPEAKER_09]: When you start criticizing, school's super damaged.
- 24:24[SPEAKER_09]: You run the risk of having a problem from the same old people.
- 24:28[SPEAKER_09]: But I wanted to tell you something, I don't know.
- 24:34[SPEAKER_09]: Cornell thing a little differently.
- 24:36[SPEAKER_09]: What happened was they investigated at the time and the young lady said there was no force.
- 24:44[SPEAKER_09]: She willingly participated.
- 24:48[SPEAKER_09]: And so it didn't go anywhere.
- 24:50[SPEAKER_09]: They did the prosecutors.
- 24:51[SPEAKER_09]: What are you going to go?
- 24:54[SPEAKER_09]: She says nothing happened
- 25:04[SPEAKER_09]: You know, and the civil suit, they claim that everything was not about consensual and not whatever.
- 25:13[SPEAKER_09]: So, it's the difference between the two reports.
- 25:19[SPEAKER_09]: You know, it's kind of hard to understand.
- 25:22[SPEAKER_09]: I'm not saying it's a frivolous lawsuit, but this lawyer, which we love lawyers, has taken a case that's a couple years old.
- 25:34[SPEAKER_09]: and kind of changed the whole verbiage about the whole thing.
- 25:38[SPEAKER_09]: And this was not the way it was reported in the first place.
- 25:43[SPEAKER_09]: And you know, it's understandable that the same old people like Governor Hock, and then would jump on this and try to make it into something that it made out be.
- 25:54[SPEAKER_09]: But you can't file a big thing and it was consensual.
- 25:57[SPEAKER_09]: And then two years later, saying,
- 26:00[SPEAKER_09]: Yeah, but now they're going to ruin the lives of the seven the male students they'll be out of problem ruin and ruin and men's life is not a problem that's that's America right now I mean if you were young guy coming up where you wouldn't be talking to too many people But you know, I mean I don't know what happened.
- 26:19[SPEAKER_09]: I'm not saying that the young lady doesn't have a case or whatever But you can't file it two different ways based on money
- 26:28[SPEAKER_09]: And this simple thing is it's about money.
- 26:31[SPEAKER_09]: It's that you got to lawyer willing to say whatever they got to say to get some money.
- 26:38[SPEAKER_09]: You know, if you select that case against Trump, you know, where that lady's in the dressing room, I don't know.
- 26:43[SPEAKER_09]: She got 85 million for getting the squeeze in the dressing room or something.
- 26:48[SPEAKER_09]: And it's just very little to support that.
- 26:51[SPEAKER_09]: But, you know, in a simple case, still the standard approved is so much lower.
- 26:56[SPEAKER_09]: And that,
- 26:57[SPEAKER_09]: So now they've got to explain why it's different.
- 27:00[SPEAKER_09]: But the same people are going to jump out and say, you know, they're going to choose the cordel people and the prosecutors of being dismissive of the girl's story.
- 27:12[SPEAKER_09]: I don't think that's fair, but you know, they change the entire dynamic of the case.
- 27:21[SPEAKER_09]: And I came and fell up as a lawyer.
- 27:24[SPEAKER_09]: That's what I think.
- 27:26[SPEAKER_05]: Well, yes.
- 27:27[SPEAKER_09]: And you, I mean, it brings the crap out of the wood.
- 27:31[SPEAKER_05]: You get certain certain boutique law firms specialize in that.
- 27:35[SPEAKER_05]: Then you get state agencies like the division of human rights, which is crooked as a Ram's horn, but they get in the middle of it or the attorney general, my god.
- 27:44[SPEAKER_05]: And then the governor weighs in.
- 27:46[SPEAKER_05]: Local prosecutor there.
- 27:48[SPEAKER_05]: Oh, you know.
- 27:50[SPEAKER_05]: and he's afraid because that's a left-wing community and they might vote about of office.
- 27:54[SPEAKER_05]: So yeah, um, does she deserve some money?
- 27:57[SPEAKER_05]: Yes, probably, but, um, beyond that, I don't know what.
- 28:02[SPEAKER_09]: What is her going right?
- 28:03[SPEAKER_09]: I mean, does she deserve money?
- 28:05[SPEAKER_09]: I don't think, you know, you can't have it both ways.
- 28:09[SPEAKER_09]: And that's what we were seeing, you know, there was no crime at two years went by and now all of a sudden there's a crime.
- 28:15[SPEAKER_05]: Well, it doesn't have to be a crime in New York.
- 28:17[SPEAKER_05]: I mean, you know,
- 28:21[SPEAKER_09]: I don't understand a lot of it, but when now that there's money involved, the story is changed and the same old people have gotten out.
- 28:29[SPEAKER_09]: And it's nice timing, too.
- 28:31[SPEAKER_09]: You've got to give that lawyer the shifty lawyer.
- 28:34[SPEAKER_09]: You've got to give him credit.
- 28:36[SPEAKER_09]: I mean, he pumped this out, changed the story just before the election.
- 28:40[SPEAKER_09]: How neat is that?
- 28:43[SPEAKER_05]: Well, exactly.
- 28:44[SPEAKER_05]: And of course, the...
- 28:47[SPEAKER_05]: the governor is able to get away from the issue of energy costs and it trying to explain why we pay 29 cents a kilowatt and in tenancy a pay thirteen and why we pay eleven percent sales tax for small businesses under utility bills and other states don't do that she doesn't have to explain that and don't look for them to ask that question on the digital task
- 29:14[SPEAKER_09]: a lot of trouble here in New York and we're probably going to vote in the same people because now will you be voting this year what I'm sorry you vote oh yeah yeah okay yeah I'm going to vote I mean but I just don't I don't I wanted to get into Mr. times to see you know it and ask him you know what makes you want to
- 29:41[SPEAKER_05]: Well, I was I was amazed at the the Republican candidates up here are accepting and bragging about in their published material that they're getting matching funds give us twenty five dollars in the state will give us two hundred fifty uh... that's an atrocity i know it's legal i'm not accusing them of illegalities but holy count say what are they signing up for a snap and hepe care
- 30:10[SPEAKER_09]: The corrupt system, and you can't really blame people for taking advantage of the system.
- 30:17[SPEAKER_09]: I mean, both of them, I just don't see where that's an issue, and in that, these are the rules we've set up.
- 30:30[SPEAKER_09]: I mean, you get criticism for something that, what was it that you did?
- 30:36[SPEAKER_09]: You've got some kind of fun during COVID.
- 30:40[SPEAKER_09]: Oh, yeah, I don't.
- 30:41[SPEAKER_09]: Yeah, I don't care.
- 30:42[SPEAKER_09]: But the point is, that's the system.
- 30:44[SPEAKER_09]: It's like tax breaks.
- 30:46[SPEAKER_09]: These people who get mad about people who try to lessen their taxes.
- 30:51[SPEAKER_09]: You can't blame them.
- 30:53[SPEAKER_09]: This is New York State.
- 30:55[SPEAKER_09]: You have to be a crook.
- 30:57[SPEAKER_09]: To be in a crook in New York State is the way to ours.
- 31:03[SPEAKER_05]: Hey, listen, I saw a video.
- 31:07[SPEAKER_05]: It was on, I think, nosey neighbors at one of those things, and this is like, this is the advantage of what I call the citizen journalist, but it was a walk through a wooded area behind East Hills apartments and showed a massive homeless encampment
- 31:26[SPEAKER_05]: and i'm looking at those pictures and i'm saying i even said it to the north country's finest but i i just don't see dianne rutherford venturing out in the woods with all that trash there on even on a nice day like this it's just not gonna happen well i wonder what's gonna happen when it gets cold and send us out of its way yeah but i mean it really is uh... it really is a mess somebody should clean it up but jaffie don't care
- 31:57[SPEAKER_09]: you can't do anything about anything in New York.
- 31:59[SPEAKER_09]: You're done.
- 32:01[SPEAKER_09]: You've got layers upon layers of crap and you call it weak-all government.
- 32:09[SPEAKER_09]: And you wonder how people can vote for more taxes, more expenses, as far as the electorate or utilities.
- 32:17[SPEAKER_09]: How can they do this?
- 32:18[SPEAKER_09]: Well, it's because they're vested in the system.
- 32:22[SPEAKER_09]: Everybody's vested.
- 32:23[SPEAKER_09]: They want this to
- 32:25[SPEAKER_09]: I mean, we sent millions away from our state as far as young people, and we don't care.
- 32:32[SPEAKER_09]: We're just going to keep going at it.
- 32:34[SPEAKER_09]: I mean, as long as there's somebody who's got them from a job, they'll be able to pay the taxes.
- 32:40[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
- 32:41[SPEAKER_05]: Oh, here I'm getting tax messages from somebody.
- 32:44[SPEAKER_05]: He says, aren't you a failed use car salesman?
- 32:47[SPEAKER_05]: I wouldn't say failed.
- 32:48[SPEAKER_05]: I'd say mediocre, but I worked at it, went to work every day.
- 32:53[SPEAKER_09]: the personal attacks.
- 32:55[SPEAKER_09]: That's all they know.
- 32:56[SPEAKER_09]: You got one stooge.
- 32:58[SPEAKER_05]: And then there's somebody texting and ask you about your government pension.
- 33:02[SPEAKER_05]: Of course you got one.
- 33:04[UNKNOWN]: Well that's another example.
- 33:06[SPEAKER_09]: These are the rules that you people as voters sat.
- 33:10[SPEAKER_09]: That you can't blame somebody for wanting the government job because there's really nothing else that you know unless you're a successful business
- 33:25[SPEAKER_05]: And then the sky goes on to say, I'm sending this recording to the AG's office.
- 33:30[SPEAKER_05]: Big deal.
- 33:32[SPEAKER_05]: What's the same guy?
- 33:33[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
- 33:34[SPEAKER_05]: And he says admit it.
- 33:35[SPEAKER_05]: You took up PPP loan.
- 33:36[SPEAKER_05]: Let me tell you about PPP loan during COVID.
- 33:41[SPEAKER_05]: All the media outlets took them.
- 33:43[SPEAKER_05]: The lawyers' offices, the medical professionals, the not-for-profits like the Y, every business took them.
- 33:55[SPEAKER_09]: My wouldn't you they forced you they forced you out of business and you still have obligations why wouldn't you take it these are the rules that we set up don't cry about the rules about people taking advantage of it I mean how many people are driving around with up with the business and dress on the side of their pickup truck when they have no business you know all of this is a tax shelter or kelp
- 34:21[SPEAKER_09]: He can't blame people, he's like people buying cigarettes from the Indian, or excuse me, the native Americans.
- 34:28[SPEAKER_09]: I mean, you can't blame them for doing that.
- 34:31[SPEAKER_09]: They like to smoke, and they can't afford it in a huckle smoking thing.
- 34:35[SPEAKER_09]: What are the $20 of a pack or something like that?
- 34:38[SPEAKER_05]: Approaching that, yeah.
- 34:40[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, what would, if I smoked, I would go see the Yemenis and buy it for five bucks a pack.
- 34:46[SPEAKER_05]: I don't smoke, but if I did, I would.
- 34:51[SPEAKER_05]: I mean, if I could, if I had access to the classic strong Ford drum, I'd go buy liquor there and resell it because you can make more margin.
- 34:58[SPEAKER_05]: Why not?
- 34:58[SPEAKER_09]: Yep.
- 34:59[SPEAKER_09]: Yeah.
- 35:00[SPEAKER_09]: Well, just like the Canadian steak and the Chinese steel and the dump in it is a roll.
- 35:04[SPEAKER_09]: Yeah.
- 35:05[SPEAKER_09]: There's something.
- 35:06[SPEAKER_09]: It, you know, we have a corrupt system, Mr.
- 35:11[SPEAKER_09]: Taxpayer, Mr. Motor.
- 35:13[SPEAKER_09]: This is the one that you wanted.
- 35:15[SPEAKER_09]: This is, you vote for this at reelection cycle.
- 35:20[SPEAKER_05]: And we're going to vote for it again.
- 35:22[SPEAKER_09]: Yeah, we're going to do it again and it's fine.
- 35:25[SPEAKER_09]: And you know, the superintendent of Waterhouse schools is going to drive around.
- 35:29[SPEAKER_09]: I mean, can they go play on top of that car?
- 35:32[SPEAKER_09]: He's driving.
- 35:33[SPEAKER_05]: Well, he probably wants to, I think he wants to land over this year.
- 35:36[SPEAKER_05]: So I don't know.
- 35:37[SPEAKER_09]: Well, I would go with a small helicopter, put a pad up on top of the roof.
- 35:42[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
- 35:42[SPEAKER_09]: I mean, he may have to make a decision later tonight.
- 35:45[SPEAKER_05]: He might have to go over to Starbucks school.
- 35:47[SPEAKER_05]: And you know, it's a long way.
- 35:51[SPEAKER_09]: want.
- 35:51[SPEAKER_09]: That's kind of where I'm going on and I understand that a lot of people are vested in it but this you can't blame somebody for playing by the rules that you set up and as a taxpayer we set this stuff up.
- 36:07[SPEAKER_09]: Gotcha.
- 36:08[SPEAKER_09]: We support it.
- 36:10[SPEAKER_05]: All right that said I got to do a commercial is because we got to make money here.

- 37:27[SPEAKER_04]: He's funding his own campaign so he won't take money from lobbyists, special interest or political bosses.
- 37:33[SPEAKER_04]: The fake news media has tried to destroy him with bony poles, smears and personal attacks.
- 37:38[SPEAKER_04]: In Washington, Anthony will fight to lower cost.
- 37:41[SPEAKER_04]: Cut regulations, improve cell and internet service, stand up for veterans and farmers, and protect your constitutional rights.
- 37:49[SPEAKER_04]: On your second amendment rights, Constantino has earned the National Rifle Associations endorsement and its highest rating.
- 37:56[SPEAKER_04]: The National Rifle Association calls his opponent Blake Gendabene, a true enemy of gun owners' rights.
- 38:02[SPEAKER_04]: Gendabene is endorsed by Kathy Hopel and Chuck Schumer and they're propping up his campaign.

- 39:26[SPEAKER_07]: It's all you need to know.
- 39:29[SPEAKER_05]: Hey, I'm 1240 W-E-T-N. Good afternoon, you're on the air.
- 39:33[SPEAKER_06]: Good afternoon, Jeff.
- 39:35[SPEAKER_06]: I just wanted to mention I was looking on newsjunkie here for a minute.
- 39:42[SPEAKER_06]: they're talking about Jeff Johnson one to uh... uh... uh... approval so he can run his restaurant uh... year-round and i re i think that's a great thing you're all Jeff Johnson in my opinion jake even though i don't live in the city he's done a nice job around the city improving buildings and getting over thanks for the guy buildings and putting them back into the jade i think he deserves a
- 40:10[SPEAKER_06]: I think he deserves this without any issues at all.
- 40:12[SPEAKER_05]: Well, he's going to get issues.
- 40:14[SPEAKER_05]: They're already rallying the troops.
- 40:16[SPEAKER_05]: So yeah, what he wants to do is he owns Riddon, or does own the Gulf Courses.
- 40:24[SPEAKER_05]: And there's a clubhouse there as Gulf Courses have with a restaurant and bar in it.
- 40:30[SPEAKER_05]: And that's an accessory used can even know it's residential A.
- 40:33[SPEAKER_05]: Well, he wants to carve out an area around the clubhouse
- 40:39[SPEAKER_05]: restaurant you know i i know zoning because you know they they did a similar thing to me they changed the zoning in my neighborhood after it was over but you know only one yeah i don't think it's a bad thing i don't know what he gets out of it but the neighbors are going to repose it they're going to say we don't want to know a honky kank on flower avenue and uh... that's what you're going to hear and the
- 41:04[SPEAKER_05]: they're going to have it in the summer with a golf course there it's not going to hurt anything in the winter he's going to have his own well they're open all year round anyway I remember they used to have had new year's eef party there's you know they're open all the time now I I agree I mean it could be in in theory it could be problematic I don't think it really as long as there's a golf course and you can have the if it's a question of year round yes I agree it should
- 41:34[SPEAKER_05]: Nobody should have to not operate year round.
- 41:38[SPEAKER_06]: Well, I'd like to see him be able to do it.
- 41:40[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, me too.
- 41:42[SPEAKER_05]: We're sticking up for Jake.
- 41:44[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
- 41:45[SPEAKER_06]: And you know, it's a little bit more revenue for the city and way of sales tax and so forth.
- 41:52[SPEAKER_05]: They don't think of that.
- 41:53[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
- 41:54[SPEAKER_05]: Listen, what's going to happen is certain people are going to come out of
- 42:02[SPEAKER_05]: which I don't think we should have is going to reject it.
- 42:05[SPEAKER_05]: I don't know if that if a zone change also goes to the council or not under these new rules, but council should decide and they should approve it.
- 42:14[SPEAKER_05]: You know, I'm sure the doctor would vote no, and I'm sure the usual, but you know, this past the damn thing.
- 42:22[SPEAKER_05]: But it's very difficult because as I recall,
- 42:32[SPEAKER_06]: I hope there's others that will support us too.
- 42:34[SPEAKER_05]: All right.
- 42:35[SPEAKER_05]: Well, thank you.
- 42:37[SPEAKER_06]: You're more and welcome, Jeff.
- 42:38[SPEAKER_06]: Thank you.
- 42:39[SPEAKER_05]: Well, it might run into trouble.
- 42:41[SPEAKER_05]: And again, I don't know if they changed it.
- 42:44[SPEAKER_05]: But you used to be a few neighbors got together and signed a petition.
- 42:48[SPEAKER_05]: You could force a supermajority vote on a zone change.
- 42:51[SPEAKER_05]: So it's going to be difficult.
- 42:55[SPEAKER_09]: No matter what.
- 42:57[SPEAKER_09]: Yeah, I don't even know who's on this planning board.
- 42:59[SPEAKER_05]: Commissioner.
- 43:01[SPEAKER_04]: When they want to appear more important, yeah, exactly.
- 43:05[SPEAKER_05]: So I don't really know it.
- 43:09[SPEAKER_05]: I don't know why Jake wants to do it, but if Jake wants to do what it's fine with me, oh, we got a text from Cody Horbez.
- 43:26[SPEAKER_05]: Is he going to run for something again?
- 43:28[SPEAKER_05]: I don't think we've seen the last of him.
- 43:31[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, so we're going to do a break and we'll be right back.
- 43:36[SPEAKER_12]: Hi, I'm State Senator Mark Wallsick.
- 43:38[SPEAKER_12]: There is nowhere on Earth quite like upstate New York from our natural resources and landscapes to the grit and determination of our hardworking families.
- 43:47[SPEAKER_12]: I am incredibly proud to represent seven beautiful counties.
- 43:52[SPEAKER_12]: But your utility bill is too high.
- 43:55[SPEAKER_12]: Tax bill too big and the return on your hard work squandered in Albany.
- 44:00[SPEAKER_12]: Our state government has lost its way and New York has been a leader in what not to do.
- 44:06[SPEAKER_12]: One party rule has created a severe imbalance of power.
- 44:10[SPEAKER_12]: Nobody elected me to manage the decline of our great state.
- 44:14[SPEAKER_12]: And I'm fighting every single day to bring balance back to state government.
- 44:19[SPEAKER_12]: Please know that when you vote to send me back to Albany, you're hiring a Patriot who's not afraid to speak up for you and stand up against policies that make it harder for you to earn a living.
- 44:30[SPEAKER_12]: I appreciate your vote for me, Senator Mark Wallsick.
- 44:33[SPEAKER_13]: Paid for by Friends of Wallsick.
- 44:35[SPEAKER_13]: Some businesses invest in their online presence.
- 44:38[SPEAKER_13]: Others apparently declare war on their customers.
- 44:42[SPEAKER_14]: At BadWebSight.com, we believe websites should take as long as possible to load.
- 44:47[SPEAKER_14]: We are convinced that our customers enjoy searching for contacted information like it's a treasure hunt.
- 44:52[SPEAKER_14]: We reject modern mobile optimization in favor of microscopic buttons and sideways scrolling.
- 44:58[SPEAKER_14]: We maintain that every homepage deserves at least six competing fonts, cheesy music, distracting graphics and one blurry stock photo of executives pointing at nothing.
- 45:08[SPEAKER_14]: We proudly support outdated plugins, broken links, and layouts that make your head spin.
- 45:14[SPEAKER_14]: We believe customers should have to work hard for basic information.
- 45:17[SPEAKER_14]: And finally, we suspect your competitors sincerely appreciate all of this.
- 45:22[SPEAKER_13]: Your website should build trust, not test patients.
- 45:25[SPEAKER_13]: Let Confluent help you create an online presence customers actually want to use.
- 45:30[SPEAKER_13]: Go online at Confluent.co to get started today.

- 46:48[SPEAKER_05]: You know when I was somebody texting and comments on my generally we had good reviews on our interview yesterday.
- 46:55[SPEAKER_05]: Somebody texted and said, well you've supplied you with question.
- 46:58[SPEAKER_05]: No, they didn't.
- 47:00[SPEAKER_05]: I was off the cuff and so on.
- 47:03[SPEAKER_05]: You know, they generally speaking any of those interviews.
- 47:09[SPEAKER_05]: I mean, if I'm going to, they should be able to answer a wide range of questions.
- 47:18[SPEAKER_05]: that might, you know, I might say, well, we're going to talk about, like, you're upbringing, yes, you know, next half of the break.
- 47:24[SPEAKER_05]: And yeah, there's, there's his staff who's, oh, we don't talk.
- 47:28[SPEAKER_05]: Oh, we don't want to talk about his personal life, who's girlfriend or anything like, I don't talk about people's girlfriends or wives or anything on the air.
- 47:35[SPEAKER_05]: Just don't do it.
- 47:37[SPEAKER_05]: And in the case of both candidates for NY21,
- 47:40[SPEAKER_05]: their partners are both quite fetching.
- 47:42[SPEAKER_05]: So, you know, there, that cleans that up.
- 47:45[SPEAKER_05]: But the other stuff now, you know, when I asked him where it was born, I didn't think that was a trick question.
- 47:57[SPEAKER_09]: Well, all of any Amsterdam, they're near each other.
- 47:59[SPEAKER_05]: But the other stuff, I thought he was, you know, everybody falls back under talking points, but I thought he answered questions generally well.
- 48:06[SPEAKER_05]: I think he did over on the, yeah.
- 48:08[SPEAKER_05]: digital desk down the road there, and even put on a tie for that, which I thought was, well, I recommended that.
- 48:18[SPEAKER_17]: That was me.
- 48:20[SPEAKER_05]: Um, you know, they're certain, like you walked into, it's like going to church, you know, you don't go to church dressed in rags or something.
- 48:27[SPEAKER_05]: You're walking into Channel 7.
- 48:29[SPEAKER_05]: It's one thing to walk into the radio station here.
- 48:31[SPEAKER_05]: This is different.
- 48:33[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
- 48:34[SPEAKER_05]: And there is a casualness in politics now, if you've noticed.
- 48:37[SPEAKER_05]: I see a lot of people doing interviews now with open collars and all that.
- 48:42[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, and that's okay, up to, you know, up to a point.
- 48:46[SPEAKER_05]: But even in, earlier this year, I saw they were doing debates in California, for gubernatorial candidates with no tie on that crosses the line.
- 48:55[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, there's a time and a place for everything.
- 48:59[SPEAKER_05]: So, um,
- 49:02[SPEAKER_05]: Well, they're not going to kill that lady in Tennessee.
- 49:05[SPEAKER_05]: First, despite Pike?
- 49:06[SPEAKER_05]: Is that her name?
- 49:08[SPEAKER_05]: What should he do?
- 49:11[SPEAKER_05]: A federal appeal school act.
- 49:13[SPEAKER_05]: Oh, an hour before.
- 49:14[SPEAKER_05]: He was supposed to get the juice.
- 49:16[SPEAKER_05]: They give her the juice there or whatever they give her.
- 49:20[SPEAKER_05]: I don't know.
- 49:24[SPEAKER_05]: Yes.
- 49:28[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
- 49:31[SPEAKER_05]: I don't know.
- 49:33[SPEAKER_05]: I'm not big on capital punishment.
- 49:35[SPEAKER_09]: You know, they sit there for decades and all of that stuff.
- 49:40[SPEAKER_05]: There's shoot him at the time of the crime.
- 49:41[SPEAKER_05]: Like that guy in Ohio.
- 49:43[SPEAKER_05]: Or whatever it is, Ohio.
- 49:45[SPEAKER_05]: Oh my god, it killed his wife.
- 49:47[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
- 49:50[SPEAKER_05]: Because the, because the mistress said that it's either her or me.
- 49:53[SPEAKER_05]: So he said, well, I'll take care of that.
- 49:55[SPEAKER_05]: And he's like, he's from care of it.
- 49:58[SPEAKER_05]: But after you do it around the air.
- 50:00[UNKNOWN]: Yeah, good afternoon.
- 50:03[SPEAKER_08]: is water count a good city and count to move to.
- 50:09[SPEAKER_05]: I would say so, yeah.
- 50:11[SPEAKER_08]: Well, I mean, you know, as far as taste the incremental wise from an elephant.
- 50:21[SPEAKER_05]: Well, you know, everything in life is a question of where you choose to live, but I would say it's there's a lot of nice homes here in town, a lot of nice places to live, neighborhoods, a lot of good people.
- 50:33[SPEAKER_08]: I'm okay, but I just thought I'd check because it's come across their deaths to possibly move back to water town.
- 50:42[SPEAKER_05]: Oh.
- 50:42[SPEAKER_08]: And so we could be in the future.
- 50:47[SPEAKER_05]: Well, we'd be glad to have you.
- 50:51[UNKNOWN]: That's nice to know.
- 50:52[SPEAKER_05]: Okay.
- 50:54[SPEAKER_05]: All righty.
- 50:55[SPEAKER_05]: You're here.
- 50:56[SPEAKER_05]: Thank you.
- 50:57[SPEAKER_05]: By now.
- 50:58[SPEAKER_05]: All right.
- 50:58[SPEAKER_05]: We'll be back with more in a moment.
- 51:04[SPEAKER_05]: Evil spirits?
- 51:07[SPEAKER_05]: No?

- 53:01[SPEAKER_01]: I'm not running to be a career politician.
- 53:04[SPEAKER_01]: I'm running to listen because North Country families deserve a voice that listens.
- 53:09[SPEAKER_01]: One that carries our rural community's voices to Albany.
- 53:13[SPEAKER_01]: I'll work for better health care, stronger EMS, reliable broadband, and opportunities for our families and every community to thrive.
- 53:23[SPEAKER_01]: Because I believe in the people who call the North Country home,
- 53:26[SPEAKER_01]: Our future belongs to all of us, and it should be built by all of us, not just a few.
- 53:32[SPEAKER_01]: All of us together.
- 53:35[SPEAKER_01]: I'm Cassie Robbins Forbence, and I'm asking for your vote.

- 54:16[SPEAKER_07]: We'll bring you the latest in just minutes at the top of the hour on AM-1240-W-A-T-A.
- 54:20[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, I'm 1240-W-A-T-N. You know, when I mentioned earlier, this thing about matching funds for candidates, for candidates for assembly, Senate, Congress, and so on.
- 54:32[SPEAKER_05]: Not local local offices.
- 54:33[SPEAKER_05]: I wish it was for Americans.
- 54:35[SPEAKER_05]: It says here on this chart,
- 54:39[SPEAKER_05]: But if you raise $25, you get $300 from the state.
- 54:43[SPEAKER_05]: Now, let me tell you, media loves this.
- 54:45[SPEAKER_05]: We love it.
- 54:46[SPEAKER_05]: Put hands, money in the hands of people running for office.
- 54:49[SPEAKER_05]: But if you raise a $250 donation, you get $2,300 from the state.
- 54:55[SPEAKER_05]: It's not something free.
- 54:57[SPEAKER_05]: It's free.
- 54:59[SPEAKER_05]: And candidates are getting it.
- 55:02[SPEAKER_05]: You say, well, that's not right.
- 55:05[SPEAKER_05]: And it's especially good in the North country where nobody contributes to political campaigns because then that part of the culture up here and that kind of stuff.
- 55:15[SPEAKER_05]: So 50 dollar donation, the state gives you 600 dollars.
- 55:21[SPEAKER_05]: Isn't that something?
- 55:23[SPEAKER_05]: You know, I mean, I'm all for regulations that require fairness and balance in what we do.
- 55:31[SPEAKER_05]: I think it's, we have a moral and an ethical obligation to do that.
- 55:36[SPEAKER_05]: to just hand these people massive amounts of money?
- 55:40[SPEAKER_05]: What do they do with it?
- 55:42[SPEAKER_05]: There's a media, the media is not going to, the media will not run that story.
- 55:47[SPEAKER_05]: Because they look at it and they say, wait a minute, we're getting that money.
- 55:52[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
- 55:53[SPEAKER_05]: We want matching funds from the state.
- 55:58[SPEAKER_04]: Just the way it is.
- 55:59[SPEAKER_04]: I mean,
- 56:03[SPEAKER_05]: We're all in on the game as Gary said.
- 56:05[SPEAKER_05]: We're all in on it.
- 56:06[SPEAKER_05]: Okay.
- 56:08[SPEAKER_05]: Okay.
- 56:09[SPEAKER_05]: Uh, let's see.
- 56:12[SPEAKER_05]: Five minutes left.
- 56:14[SPEAKER_05]: I wonder if CNN is reporting on that.
- 56:16[SPEAKER_05]: A template hijacking of an aircraft yet.
- 56:18[SPEAKER_05]: It doesn't fit there agenda.
- 56:20[SPEAKER_05]: No.
- 56:22[SPEAKER_05]: No, sorry, but it was a let's roll moment for passengers.
- 56:28[SPEAKER_05]: And I can't wait to hear the stories.
- 56:32[SPEAKER_05]: Good afternoon around the air.
- 56:34[SPEAKER_15]: Man, that's crazy, Ollie.
- 56:36[SPEAKER_15]: They're crippling down.
- 56:38[SPEAKER_15]: You get somebody 50 bucks and then they get 600 off tax payers.
- 56:42[SPEAKER_15]: It's crazy.
- 56:43[SPEAKER_15]: That's why my dining is going.
- 56:46[SPEAKER_15]: Everything's going to be free, free, free, free.
- 56:49[SPEAKER_05]: Right.
- 56:50[SPEAKER_05]: And they're same people are criticism.
- 56:52[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, the same people are criticized, Mr. Mymdami are also taking all of these matching funds.
- 56:59[SPEAKER_15]: Exactly, but I have been ideal, I don't know.
- 57:03[SPEAKER_15]: Did you get any matching funds would you run from me?
- 57:05[SPEAKER_05]: No, we had to do it the hard way.
- 57:07[SPEAKER_05]: I mean, you know, I do this plan I would have had tens of thousands of dollars of free money.
- 57:12[SPEAKER_15]: I could have, you know Yeah, yeah, you could have put it in the signs or When I had some corporate dinner or whatever you wanted to do yeah, it's crazy And I wanted to make one more comment earlier and show you said something about appropriate a tire
- 57:32[SPEAKER_15]: like say that, uh, Lizinski, he wouldn't end his role, you know, he was with the president and the vice president.
- 57:41[SPEAKER_15]: He came in with a bright jean chair, you know, he'd be like, right, right, like look like he's flexing his muscles and stuff.
- 57:48[SPEAKER_15]: Next time he came back, they'd probably give me an earphone, but he had a two-core neck tie.
- 57:53[SPEAKER_15]: How long does it take to put a button down on?
- 57:56[SPEAKER_05]: Well, I think if you're going to the Oval Office, yeah,
- 58:01[SPEAKER_15]: Yeah, I know this is very inappropriate and then you got this other guy, I don't know.
- 58:06[SPEAKER_15]: I don't know all the muslims and names, but he's walking around with jeans and t-shirts and everything about.
- 58:13[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, they're not skinny jeans, are they?
- 58:16[SPEAKER_15]: Oh, I don't know.
- 58:17[SPEAKER_15]: I don't follow them guy that you see a picture and pissing me off from a clickover.
- 58:22[SPEAKER_05]: Exactly.
- 58:23[SPEAKER_05]: Exactly.
- 58:23[SPEAKER_05]: Well, you shouldn't be wearing jeans.
- 58:26[SPEAKER_15]: You're just saying they think jeans matter.
- 58:29[SPEAKER_15]: That money, especially if it's a comonocic taxpayers, it's that ridiculous and how do you know how they're going to spend it?
- 58:39[SPEAKER_05]: Well, you don't.
- 58:40[SPEAKER_05]: And really, I mean, once you give it to him, it's their business.
- 58:43[SPEAKER_05]: How they spend it, but the point is, it shouldn't be happening.
- 58:48[SPEAKER_15]: And I wouldn't be having it at all.
- 58:50[SPEAKER_05]: And I wouldn't brag about it, but they don't want to show you,
- 58:59[SPEAKER_05]: he's for totally doing himself uh... yeah well they're bragging about how it how it amplifies your donation give me a give me a hundred dollars and i get an extra thousand from the state well that's crazy that's absolutely crazy and it's antithetical to anything that resembles quote republicanism you know because they're the ones feeding it the trough just like the democrats
- 59:28[SPEAKER_15]: You don't triple it and then take it off the deck, please.
- 59:32[SPEAKER_05]: I know.
- 59:33[SPEAKER_05]: I know.
- 59:33[SPEAKER_05]: I'm right there.
- 59:34[SPEAKER_06]: Okay.
- 59:35[SPEAKER_15]: I got to run.
- 59:37[SPEAKER_05]: I know.
- 59:37[SPEAKER_05]: But I can trouble for bringing that subject up.
- 59:39[SPEAKER_09]: You know, I should get a big trouble for that.
- 59:41[SPEAKER_05]: But what the heck?
- 59:43[SPEAKER_05]: Hey, listen.
- 59:43[SPEAKER_05]: Glenn Curry will be in at five o'clock with the live at five show.
