  Speaker 1: number one in Ashton Genty, and then you were the

  Speaker 1: one that said, you know this, Amari and Hampton, guy

  Speaker 1: from North Carolina has every trait to be as good
• 0:37
  Speaker 1: as Ashton Genty. And if you go look at their
• 0:39
  Speaker 1: rookie seasons, obviously Genty was in a rough situation, but
• 0:42
  Speaker 1: I think Hampton showed that you were right. He looked
• 0:45
  Speaker 1: when he was healthy. Yeah, he was a really good back.

  Speaker 2: When he was playing. It looked like a good franchise back.

  Speaker 1: And so this year you go in and it seems
• 0:53
  Speaker 1: like there's a clear number one that we'll get into.

  Speaker 2: Uh, there is a clear number one.

  Speaker 1: There is a clear number one, and I wonder if

  Speaker 1: if anybody gotten into your Yeah, but this guy, he

  Speaker 1: can be that guy too.

  Speaker 2: Kind of prospect.

  Speaker 1: So let's just start with the clear number one Jeremiah

  Speaker 1: Love out of Notre Dame. Where is he among the
• 1:09
  Speaker 1: prospect the running back prospects you've watched tape on over
• 1:12
  Speaker 1: the last few years.
• 1:13
  Speaker 2: Oh, to me, he's fits. I think he's a better
• 1:17
  Speaker 2: prospect than Jen Dy, you know. To me, when I
• 1:20
  Speaker 2: watched Love, and I watched him last summer too, because
• 1:22
  Speaker 2: obviously he was a name that people were talking about,
• 1:24
  Speaker 2: and Notre dame'son a really good football team. I mean,
• 1:27
  Speaker 2: you're dealing with a guy that I think he's six
• 1:29
  Speaker 2: feet to twelve, so he's not small. I kind of
• 1:33
  Speaker 2: saw him in the sort of Bijon Robinson Jamier Gibbs mold.

  Speaker 2: You know, I think he's incredibly explosive, but he can
• 1:42
  Speaker 2: run inside. He's not just a fast guy. But the
• 1:47
  Speaker 2: other thing is he can detach from the formation. He's
• 1:49
  Speaker 2: a very very good receiver. I mean Bijon Robinson this
• 1:52
  Speaker 2: past season, twenty percent of his snaps he was detached, So,
• 1:57
  Speaker 2: you know, I think you can do that with Love.
• 1:59
  Speaker 2: But he is really explosive, but there's a physicality and
• 2:02
  Speaker 2: toughness to his running as well. So to me, he
• 2:05
  Speaker 2: you know, he falls into that category of a really
• 2:08
  Speaker 2: special prospect, you know. So, I mean I remember last
• 2:14
  Speaker 2: year when people said Genty, you know, he was the
• 2:15
  Speaker 2: best back to come out in ten years. I didn't
• 2:17
  Speaker 2: quite see that. I didn't. I didn't think he was
• 2:19
  Speaker 2: at the level coming out of Barkley or or or Bijon,
• 2:24
  Speaker 2: and Genty, you know, did gain a thousand. He was
• 2:26
  Speaker 2: in a really rough situation. Maybe now with Kubiak there
• 2:30
  Speaker 2: he'll gain fifteen hundred yards. I mean, gent, he's a
• 2:32
  Speaker 2: good back. This is no knock on Genty at all.
• 2:34
  Speaker 2: I just think Love is bigger. I think he's just
• 2:39
  Speaker 2: he's more explosive for sure, and I think he can
• 2:41
  Speaker 2: give you more in the past game as well.

  Speaker 3: Staying at that school, Greg, let's talk about to Darien Price.

  Speaker 2: Yeah, he's he's interesting because he you know, he stayed
• 2:53
  Speaker 2: there obviously, and and you know he made that choice,
• 2:56
  Speaker 2: and so he was he was more than just a backup.
• 2:59
  Speaker 2: I mean, you know, because because don't forget, Love only
• 3:02
  Speaker 2: carried one hundred and ninety nine times this year and
• 3:03
  Speaker 2: one hundred and sixty three times last year. So it's
• 3:06
  Speaker 2: not as if Love has you know, was a three
• 3:07
  Speaker 2: hundred carry guy. You know, Price is five to ten
• 3:11
  Speaker 2: more than five ten two oh three. He actually ran
• 3:14
  Speaker 2: well at the combine. You know, he's your classic case
• 3:19
  Speaker 2: of how do you see him? You know, we've had
• 3:22
  Speaker 2: this conversation many times over the years now these last
• 3:25
  Speaker 2: number of years, about quote unquote feature back and how
• 3:29
  Speaker 2: teams see that. And it's different for every team, you know.

  Speaker 2: I think we have this sense that there's certain guys
• 3:36
  Speaker 2: like like you look at Price at two o three
• 3:38
  Speaker 2: and people might say, oh, he's not a feature back.
• 3:41
  Speaker 2: Two o three is not big enough, But you know,
• 3:44
  Speaker 2: then it depends on team and and you know, obviously
• 3:46
  Speaker 2: the player we've always used is kind of the poster
• 3:48
  Speaker 2: child for this was Kyraen Williams, another Notre Damer, you know,
• 3:52
  Speaker 2: who had over three hundred carries in twenty twenty four
• 3:54
  Speaker 2: and well over two hundred this year. You know, no
• 3:58
  Speaker 2: one thought of him as a feature back coming out
• 4:00
  Speaker 2: a Notre Dame, but in Sean mcvay's system, he's a
• 4:03
  Speaker 2: feature back. Now this year they went a little more
• 4:06
  Speaker 2: with a two back with Blake Koram, who had a
• 4:08
  Speaker 2: meaningful number of carries. I think Price probably fits more
• 4:13
  Speaker 2: to me, and I like Price, but I think he
• 4:16
  Speaker 2: probably fits more in like that David Montgomery mold where
• 4:20
  Speaker 2: you know you can still get one hundred and fifty
• 4:22
  Speaker 2: hundred and seventy. I mean, I think Montgomery two years
• 4:25
  Speaker 2: ago Gibbs rookie year at two hundred plus carries, and
• 4:28
  Speaker 2: this year would have been right there if he didn't
• 4:30
  Speaker 2: miss three games. So you know, I think Price probably
• 4:33
  Speaker 2: falls more into that category than you build your offense
• 4:37
  Speaker 2: around him. So you know, he's not loose hip. There's
• 4:42
  Speaker 2: a little stiffness to him, but he has very quick feed.
• 4:45
  Speaker 2: He's a sharp, controlled cut guy as opposed to like,
• 4:48
  Speaker 2: as you know, a zuzu guy, you know, with really
• 4:51
  Speaker 2: loose hips. I would say he's not a true home
• 4:54
  Speaker 2: run threat, but he did show at times the accelerating
• 4:58
  Speaker 2: speed to run away from p people. He's very, very tough.

  Speaker 2: That's what you love about him. There's a competitive toughness
• 5:05
  Speaker 2: to his running and that's you know, that's coaches are
• 5:09
  Speaker 2: going to love that. I think he'd be seen as
• 5:12
  Speaker 2: a higher volume complement as opposed to a foundation back
• 5:16
  Speaker 2: that's the starting point of an offense. But I like
• 5:18
  Speaker 2: Jadarian Price all.

  Speaker 1: Right, Notre Dame always pumping out the running backs. Let's
• 5:23
  Speaker 1: talk about Arkansas's Mike Washington.

  Speaker 2: Now, he is a guy that I knew nothing about
• 5:29
  Speaker 2: because of his whole background. I mean, he's he had
• 5:32
  Speaker 2: one of those where started at Buffalo, went to New
• 5:35
  Speaker 2: Mexico for New Mexico State, I believe, for a season,
• 5:38
  Speaker 2: then came to Arkansas for one year and was really good.

  Speaker 2: I liked his tape a lot. Now, to me, I
• 5:45
  Speaker 2: think this guy can be a feature back. He's six',
• 5:47
  Speaker 2: one he's two twenty. Three he's got two things that
• 5:50
  Speaker 2: normally make you think feature. Back he's got speed and,
• 5:53
  Speaker 2: power and he's two twenty. Three so you, know he's
• 5:56
  Speaker 2: both a physical runner who can get hard yards inside
• 5:59
  Speaker 2: and he's home run. Hitter SO i came away from
• 6:03
  Speaker 2: From washington believing that this guy can truly be a
• 6:06
  Speaker 2: feature back in the. LEAGUE i, mean he's kind of
• 6:08
  Speaker 2: has a rare size speed. Profile you, know he's that
• 6:14
  Speaker 2: guy to. Me, now, AGAIN i don't know how people see,
• 6:17
  Speaker 2: him you, know and there's also a physical presence to his,
• 6:20
  Speaker 2: running WHICH i thought was really. Good so you, know you're,

  Speaker 2: dealing LIKE i, said with a guy that has just
• 6:29
  Speaker 2: when you talk about that kind of, SPEED i, mean

  Speaker 2: what is everybody looking? For on, offense explosive, backs guys

  Speaker 2: who can take it to the. House he can take
• 6:38
  Speaker 2: it to the. House.

  Speaker 3: Greg when you look At Jonah, coleman he played at two,

  Speaker 3: schools he finished up At. Washington he's kind of an intriguing.

  Speaker 3: Guy what are your thoughts on?

  Speaker 2: Him, yeah he's an intriguing guy because of the way he's.

  Speaker 2: Built he's built like a bowling, ball you, know and

  Speaker 2: you know from what you, hear and AGAIN i don't know.

  Speaker 2: This you, know people talk about he might have a weight,
• 6:58
  Speaker 2: issue you. KNOW i don't. KNOW i don't get into,

  Speaker 2: that but you, know he's he's a highly, competitive tough downhill.

  Speaker 2: Runner and because he's five eight and an, eighth he's

  Speaker 2: got a very low center of. Gravity but there's a

  Speaker 2: RUN i think he's got. PATIENCE i think he has

  Speaker 2: an innate feel to set up and manipulate both first

  Speaker 2: and second level defenders with how he uses his downhill
• 7:22
  Speaker 2: path and his stick. Steps he's he's explosive in the short.

  Speaker 2: AREA i mean he has that short area burst and
• 7:29
  Speaker 2: acceleration to hit the hole with velocity and natural. Power
• 7:33
  Speaker 2: he's not a home run. Hitter you, know he's kind
• 7:36
  Speaker 2: of more of a daughter and a, slasher but he's
• 7:39
  Speaker 2: got very good contact balance because of you, know his.
• 7:41
  Speaker 2: Size he, absorbs because he's so low to the, ground
• 7:44
  Speaker 2: he absorbs hits and he can, maintain resulting in a
• 7:48
  Speaker 2: good number of explosive runs that don't come from. Speed all, Right,
• 7:54
  Speaker 2: greg it might be.

  Speaker 1: Good just like with The Notre dame, prospects to ask

  Speaker 1: you About Nick singleton And lee and K Tron allen

  Speaker 1: together and they were basically interchangeable within the, offense and

  Speaker 1: they both had very one was a touchdown record holder

  Speaker 1: or the other was like an all purpose yards record.

  Speaker 4: singleton is a fascinating. Study, obviously he did not put

  Speaker 2: Was it The pittsburgh? Area he came out Of. Pennsylvania, No, no

  Speaker 2: Was he was like a five star recruit and the

  Speaker 2: top one hundred prospect. NATIONALLY i mean this this guy

  Speaker 2: you got. Something, yes he's an interesting. Guy he's he's

  Speaker 2: pretty much to me a one, cut downhill explosive. Back he's,
