- 3:21Speaker 9: And Honor.
- 3:26Speaker 2: Honor the best guys, honor face.
- 3:31Speaker 9: Honor.
- 3:31Speaker 8: People really aren't obsessed with your face.
- 3:34Speaker 3: They well, they love my body and they love your
- 3:37Speaker 3: face on, which is so fun.
- 3:41Speaker 2: They sometimes they're putting your body on my face.

- 4:00Speaker 10: I mean we play the romantic couple ballonica and obviously
- 4:06Speaker 10: competing croquet players on national teams in national leagues that
- 4:10Speaker 10: meet every year.
- 4:13Speaker 1: Ye happens all the time, just once a year. It's
- 4:16Speaker 1: kind of our love story over the like a decade.
- 4:19Speaker 2: Yeah over Yeah, the first season one is over a decade. Yeah.
- 4:23Speaker 3: Three episodes covers three years and half each and it's
- 4:27Speaker 3: just been.
- 4:27Speaker 2: So years half each. Yeah, we love you, We love reform.
- 4:33Speaker 2: Free Form really went out there on.
- 4:35Speaker 6: The shout to the double F.
- 4:39Speaker 11: Two S one, but it feels like two s right.
- 4:44Speaker 8: You guys, we were we were the first nudity on
- 4:46Speaker 8: free Form.
- 4:47Speaker 7: Right, yere plus right is right, there's a little plus.
- 4:53Speaker 6: It's not cable.
- 4:54Speaker 7: Yeah, I hate to keep doing your introduction, but they
- 4:59Speaker 7: both believe it or not.
- 5:01Speaker 6: Just started acting.
- 5:02Speaker 1: We just started acting. Before this, I worked at a
- 5:06Speaker 1: Mac store. It wasn't an Apple store, it was a
- 5:10Speaker 1: Mac store. We kind of cleaned up Mac charge reports
- 5:14Speaker 1: a lot.
- 5:15Speaker 3: It's one of those stores where you go there and
- 5:16Speaker 3: you realize after you give it to them it's not
- 5:19Speaker 3: a Max store.
- 5:22Speaker 2: It's kind of a scam store of those studios. Yeah,
- 5:26Speaker 2: what did you do before?
- 5:27Speaker 3: Oh gosh, I cleaned all the holes at a Putt
- 5:30Speaker 3: putt course.
- 5:31Speaker 2: So you were ready for this role? Man, Well, don't
- 5:34Speaker 2: say that. I'm gonna say it against you're being na
- 5:37Speaker 2: I'm gonna say it.
- 5:38Speaker 6: Hey, guys, other people in the room.
- 5:41Speaker 3: I just so when we started shooting, we just realized
- 5:43Speaker 3: we had this undeniable chemistry and we are. It's so
- 5:46Speaker 3: amazing to shoot sex scenes with your best friend.
- 5:49Speaker 1: Literally, the thing is like, I've never experienced this. I
- 5:52Speaker 1: highly suggest with the best friend, go find your best
- 5:55Speaker 1: friend and shoot a Yeah, go out find your best
- 6:01Speaker 1: friend and shoot.
- 6:02Speaker 3: Say what are you doing? And and shoot a scene.
- 6:04Speaker 3: You don't have to actually have sex, but pretend like
- 6:07Speaker 3: you're having sex and film.
- 6:08Speaker 6: And a friend you like a little less to film it.
- 6:10Speaker 2: Yeah, then block it.
- 6:11Speaker 6: Yeah, another friend that you like a little less to
- 6:14Speaker 6: write it and do it.
- 6:15Speaker 8: A person who is sort of an acquaintance maybe can
- 6:18Speaker 8: play intimacy coordinator. Yes, there has to be some boundaries.
- 6:23Speaker 3: You don't want anyone to be too familiar with The
- 6:25Speaker 3: intimacy coordinator is biased.
- 6:27Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, totally.
- 6:29Speaker 4: Yeah, bias intimacy coordinators.
- 6:33Speaker 9: It is.
- 6:33Speaker 8: It really violates any level of professionalism or consent.
- 6:37Speaker 2: Because the exactly.
- 6:45Speaker 8: Is one versus I mean you you really brought that
- 6:48Speaker 8: to this role.
- 6:50Speaker 2: Yeah, well it's not. You can take the whole you
- 6:53Speaker 2: can yourself. We could really go on and on.
- 6:56Speaker 8: Well oh okay, well I want to go first.
- 7:04Speaker 11: I'm sorry. I'm so used to when they go off and.
- 7:08Speaker 6: And are kissing that I absolutely stop talking.
- 7:12Speaker 8: A lot of these the press tour in general, no
- 7:15Speaker 8: one else was going to get a word in.
- 7:17Speaker 2: So we.
- 7:19Speaker 1: Have been talking every single press tour maybe ninety seven
- 7:22Speaker 1: percent of the time.
- 7:22Speaker 2: Yeah, SMI as it should be bad and we go, yeah,
- 7:26Speaker 2: we go.
- 7:26Speaker 3: Yeah, it's so funny. That's the longest I've been quiet,
- 7:29Speaker 3: and I just got so sad.
- 7:31Speaker 8: Yeah, yeah, I bet it was crazy.
- 7:33Speaker 2: Don't be sad. Come on, I'm not anymore. You're bad.
- 7:37Speaker 8: Well, I usually use my words on the page. I
- 7:41Speaker 8: am the author of the best selling book Croquet.
- 7:46Speaker 1: Yes, and uh give the full title that we had
- 7:49Speaker 1: to edit out of the show.
- 7:50Speaker 2: Crogue, balls and Hoops. We had to cut that. We
- 7:56Speaker 2: had to cut that. It's really, you.
- 7:58Speaker 8: Know, it's it's it's a play on both things. Croquet.
- 8:02Speaker 8: That's what you do. You hit the balls in the
- 8:04Speaker 8: hoops with your with your mallet.
- 8:06Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 8:06Speaker 8: And then really, fundamentally, all sports have some level of
- 8:11Speaker 8: putting balls in holes. And I felt like that really.
- 8:14Speaker 2: And I got it easy.
- 8:15Speaker 9: I got you.
- 8:18Speaker 1: Actually told me that you did no research search about
- 8:21Speaker 1: what croquet actually plays like you have an idea.
- 8:24Speaker 2: Yeah, and you can tell that in the book.
- 8:25Speaker 8: I mean, thank you, yeah, thank you, thank you for
- 8:28Speaker 8: saying that we'll give us such freedom to to shoot.
- 8:30Speaker 3: You know that we're using our croquet mallets upwards, we're
- 8:33Speaker 3: using we're spinning on we're dancing on them.
- 8:35Speaker 2: There's a dance section of every cocaine game. Well, you know,
- 8:37Speaker 2: I found that there was.
- 8:39Speaker 8: People started telling me, even though I didn't want to know,
- 8:42Speaker 8: people started telling me there was a standard way to
- 8:44Speaker 8: hit a croquet mallet and it's right between the legs,
- 8:48Speaker 8: a straightforward thrust right at that ball and that's just
- 8:52Speaker 8: too on the nose. And uh, someone told me a
- 8:55Speaker 8: fun fact that women were not allowed to play the
- 8:59Speaker 8: classic stroke for long time.
- 9:00Speaker 7: Because it was literally it's what Lin Manuel is doing
- 9:04Speaker 7: with America and hip hop is what you're doing with croquet.
- 9:08Speaker 11: You have finally and gay gay.
- 9:12Speaker 2: That's what Manuel did with hip hop.
- 9:18Speaker 9: Yeah he made it gay.
- 9:20Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 9:21Speaker 9: What I love.
- 9:24Speaker 3: The way you make us hold the mallet by the
- 9:26Speaker 3: club section, hold it forward like the stick is a
- 9:30Speaker 3: long wiener and then we poked the ball obviously terrible
- 9:33Speaker 3: for the game.
- 9:34Speaker 8: Hard to do, it is, it's hard to do, but
- 9:36Speaker 8: it's it's a great shot.
- 9:38Speaker 6: Yeah, tell them your name, where you're from.
- 9:40Speaker 7: Let's about your content, about you.
- 9:46Speaker 11: This incredible work.
- 9:48Speaker 8: Well, I'm beloved author Brooks, fable Brooks in the room.
- 9:52Speaker 7: And so much about your your work that you don't
- 9:56Speaker 7: even you hide behind the book.
- 9:58Speaker 2: You do hide behind that.
- 10:00Speaker 8: I actually didn't you know a lot of authors have
- 10:02Speaker 8: their photo on the back jacket and if you look at.
- 10:07Speaker 7: It's an ad for Grinders, a QR code And actually
- 10:14Speaker 7: Grinder told.
- 10:15Speaker 2: Me their sales went.
- 10:23Speaker 3: And I hope this is not too personal. Times do
- 10:27Speaker 3: you get correspondence from people who bought what you wrote
- 10:31Speaker 3: and say, hey, I didn't realize your name was Brooks Fable.
- 10:33Speaker 3: I thought I was buying a book of fables.
- 10:38Speaker 2: Does that happen every day? Every day?
- 10:42Speaker 9: Book?
- 10:43Speaker 7: And it's buy books fables And they say books cool,
- 10:47Speaker 7: books of fables.
- 10:48Speaker 8: So there's this phenomenon that if you see jumbled letters
- 10:51Speaker 8: you can still read them right, that you can still
- 10:53Speaker 8: make out the word if you see it upside down
- 10:56Speaker 8: or backwards, like the human brain makes it that. So
- 10:59Speaker 8: I feel like it's related to that phenomenon. They're just
- 11:03Speaker 8: like book a fable. It's on a book. It looks
- 11:05Speaker 8: so close right. A lot of people said, I thought
- 11:08Speaker 8: I was buying my kid this book of Fables.
- 11:09Speaker 2: What is this porn?
- 11:12Speaker 8: I got a lot of complaints.
- 11:13Speaker 7: Imagine the kids scans the q A code.
- 11:17Speaker 6: Oh suddenly the kids leap from grinder.
- 11:20Speaker 8: Grinders, sales from kids have skyrocketing, and we don't.
- 11:24Speaker 2: We just think that's a bad idea. Don't don't don't, Hey, don't.
- 11:28Speaker 3: Guys, and yea, wait till you're eighteen to get on
- 11:31Speaker 3: grind Please, I can't believe I even have to say that.
- 11:33Speaker 2: I can't believe you have to say that. The second
- 11:35Speaker 2: you do turn eighteen. I think we.
- 11:41Speaker 3: Have fun, but just now you're going to have some
- 11:42Speaker 3: experiences you can't get back.
- 11:44Speaker 2: It was so amazing having you on set. I mean,
- 11:47Speaker 2: just like you said you hit in your book.
- 11:48Speaker 1: You were literally hiding in your book on set. I
- 11:51Speaker 1: mean you always have the book up to hear. We
- 11:53Speaker 1: do only see this much of you?
- 11:54Speaker 2: Do you cut those eye holes out of the middle
- 11:56Speaker 2: of you. I felt like you had to have some connection.
- 12:00Speaker 8: Yeah, I gave you the eyes.
- 12:02Speaker 2: But this is the first day any of you have
- 12:05Speaker 2: seen my face.
- 12:06Speaker 11: Is absolutely crazy.
- 12:07Speaker 4: To put a face to the eye holes and you
- 12:11Speaker 4: what has it been like to come out of the
- 12:13Speaker 4: shadows in this way? Because I'm sure you're getting like mobbed.
- 12:17Speaker 4: I'm sure with all these fans.
- 12:19Speaker 2: Definitely getting railed.
- 12:22Speaker 8: Okay, I meant you know, I meant mobbed.
- 12:29Speaker 11: Well, has this been good for you sexually?
- 12:32Speaker 9: It has?
- 12:32Speaker 8: You know, I didn't know anything about croquet, but I
- 12:34Speaker 8: did know about being a closeted gay person.
- 12:36Speaker 2: Yeah, I forgots. Thank you. Where did you come out? Well?
- 12:40Speaker 2: I guess this is it?
- 12:41Speaker 1: Whoa literally, there's twelve books.
- 12:49Speaker 8: There's twelve I've never officially made a statement identifying.
- 12:54Speaker 2: With people, just assuming, which is bad.
- 12:56Speaker 8: Don't you are.
- 12:58Speaker 2: Making statements today? Yeah, we're making savements a better section.
- 13:02Speaker 2: We're saying it. Oh yeah, yeah. I guess maybe now
- 13:07Speaker 2: is the time because people have been watching a lot
- 13:10Speaker 2: to maybe if you want to do it, we'll do
- 13:12Speaker 2: it later. We'll do it later. You guys introduce me
- 13:15Speaker 2: to that felt really good.
- 13:19Speaker 11: I'm that's absolutely huge, Brooks.
- 13:24Speaker 8: Obviously, I wasn't a croquet player. I didn't know anything
- 13:26Speaker 8: about croquet. I don't know anything about the sport. I
- 13:27Speaker 8: know the bare minimum, but I do understand that it's,
- 13:31Speaker 8: you know, the type of the type of feeling of
- 13:34Speaker 8: a community where you don't feel like you can tell
- 13:37Speaker 8: people who you are.
- 13:38Speaker 2: And I relate to that. Ok, yeah, it's viciously straight.
- 13:41Speaker 3: Yeah I wanted to shout straight you said bare minimum.
- 13:44Speaker 3: You think you added in the book where every team
- 13:47Speaker 3: has a bear minimum, where there's a minimum.
- 13:50Speaker 2: Of bear on each teams.
- 13:55Speaker 3: And there's just all these big burly men on the
- 13:57Speaker 3: side of each croquet game.
- 14:00Speaker 8: I really love that I've redefined the use of the
- 14:02Speaker 8: BM term poop has had it for too long.
- 14:09Speaker 9: Now your morning BM is.
- 14:13Speaker 2: Minimum is talking to you. And when poop gets something
- 14:18Speaker 2: is hard to get it back from poop.
- 14:19Speaker 8: It's really hard to get about number two.
- 14:22Speaker 7: Hard, poor number two. That number can't be anything besides pooh.
- 14:27Speaker 2: It's so sad.
- 14:28Speaker 8: Yeah, that poor number two, that poor number two, poor
- 14:31Speaker 8: number two. Of course I gave you number two in
- 14:34Speaker 8: an attempt.
- 14:35Speaker 2: Yeah, and people were like, oh, that's the poop one. Yeah, yeah,
- 14:40Speaker 2: but you still pulled through. Any way, Enough about me,
- 14:43Speaker 2: enough about me?
- 14:44Speaker 11: Come on, Oh my god, jump, shouldn't we go?
- 14:49Speaker 6: My god?
- 14:50Speaker 4: We should, My god, we should. We are twin showrunners.
- 14:56Speaker 6: I studied abroad in the UK for a month and.
- 14:58Speaker 4: I stayed in the United States during that time.
- 15:02Speaker 11: And so together.
- 15:06Speaker 9: I am Kathy.
- 15:07Speaker 6: Orange and I'm Pathy Orange.
- 15:12Speaker 11: Well, we have different dads, my.
- 15:17Speaker 2: Here we go, Here we.
- 15:19Speaker 11: Go, as as in our lives.
- 15:28Speaker 2: Another show, you guys.
- 15:30Speaker 11: Another show we worked on, of course, we have now.
- 15:35Speaker 2: With different twins with different dads.
- 15:39Speaker 7: And listen, we're half siblings who look alike, but we
- 15:42Speaker 7: like to call it twins with different dads.
- 15:44Speaker 11: And you know, we've heard all the jokes.
- 15:46Speaker 2: You know, the jokes to jokes for.
- 15:55Speaker 6: The jokes, what's the angle.
- 15:58Speaker 11: Half half happy you do?
- 16:00Speaker 4: Maybe maybe maybe I'll maybe I'll buy one, get one free.
- 16:05Speaker 6: I heard them all.
- 16:06Speaker 11: I don't even say it.
- 16:07Speaker 6: Don't say the.
- 16:11Speaker 9: Uh one of you.
- 16:13Speaker 6: It doesn't equal one, it's a half each. So what's
- 16:15Speaker 6: this two in one shampoo bole?
- 16:17Speaker 11: Exactly exactly.
- 16:19Speaker 4: I don't even say the shampoo one because we'd before.
- 16:24Speaker 7: Listen we are a classic show a duo. I look
- 16:28Speaker 7: into the camera, she looks. On set, we doubt mix
- 16:31Speaker 7: the two. We have four eyes wherever she is.
- 16:34Speaker 4: You know those birds that some can look three hundred
- 16:38Speaker 4: and sixty degrees, we.
- 16:39Speaker 6: Like to do that.
- 16:40Speaker 2: Not familiar with those birds that can look three.
- 16:42Speaker 8: We heard all.
- 16:48Speaker 6: We've heard everything about those birds, and.
- 16:50Speaker 11: We've heard everything about those birds.
- 16:51Speaker 4: We've heard everything about those deep creatures who can do
- 16:53Speaker 4: the same. Look wherever she is looking, I'm looking different
- 16:57Speaker 4: way to make sure all are faces are covered.
- 17:01Speaker 7: I actually believe if you are doing a show, a book,
- 17:05Speaker 7: a show, or a movie, anything with cameras that is
- 17:08Speaker 7: about two people falling in love, you should always have
- 17:10Speaker 7: two show run this because I'm always.
- 17:11Speaker 6: Looking at him and she's always looking at him.
- 17:13Speaker 2: Yes, yes, yeah, it was intense.
- 17:15Speaker 7: And all of his childhood scenes I'm doing lead on,
- 17:19Speaker 7: and all of his childhood scenes he's doing lead on,
- 17:21Speaker 7: and it shows the differences.
- 17:23Speaker 4: Of his lines of dialogue go through my team of writers,
- 17:27Speaker 4: and all of your lines of dialogue go through my team. Yes.
- 17:29Speaker 3: So many people would say that you guys cannot work together.
- 17:33Speaker 2: It's kind of the way this sounds.
- 17:35Speaker 4: So we are working so together that we are not
- 17:39Speaker 4: even in the same place.
- 17:40Speaker 6: There are moments.
- 17:41Speaker 7: When we are watching you two have sex on camera
- 17:44Speaker 7: and I go, now, we're working together.
- 17:46Speaker 6: Now, we are working So.
- 17:49Speaker 2: That for me has always been creepy.
- 17:51Speaker 1: The only time you guys come together as half sibling
- 17:53Speaker 1: twins is when we're having sex.
- 17:54Speaker 12: Yeah.
- 17:55Speaker 2: Well, and also you're in video village and you're so close, right.
- 18:01Speaker 8: We honestly had to do so many takes of the
- 18:03Speaker 8: sex scenes because you were in the shattalat.
- 18:05Speaker 4: I was I was doing such a good job show
- 18:09Speaker 4: running this show.
- 18:12Speaker 9: We both believe it or not.
- 18:14Speaker 7: We are the first class at USC Film School to
- 18:17Speaker 7: run to major in show running.
- 18:19Speaker 6: It's a major.
- 18:19Speaker 11: Now, it's a major.
- 18:21Speaker 4: Now.

- 18:42Speaker 8: came back with this accent.
- 18:44Speaker 6: Yes, because we were doing your childhood scenes there.

- 19:19Speaker 4: some like cheers at the end.
- 19:21Speaker 11: Yeah, and then you started saying meant.
- 19:23Speaker 8: To instead of had to.
- 19:24Speaker 4: There's little things like that that clued me in that
- 19:27Speaker 4: as soon as we get back in the same room,
- 19:29Speaker 4: you're gonna be British.
- 19:30Speaker 6: Yeah, And I just I needed that a little bit right.
- 19:32Speaker 3: Well, it's funny too, is because I actually, you know,
- 19:33Speaker 3: I had to have a Manchester accent, and because I was.
- 19:36Speaker 2: Doing it, do it all right Manchester. It's like literally
- 19:40Speaker 2: looking in the mirror if the mirror was from England.
- 19:44Speaker 6: Remember we practiced not to do that with your mouth
- 19:46Speaker 6: like that.
- 19:49Speaker 3: Smile if you beat me to die, but to show
- 19:53Speaker 3: you I'm gonna use mom ballad and beat you to not.

- 20:15Speaker 7: scene is word for word from the book.
- 20:17Speaker 2: Yes it is. Yeah.
- 20:18Speaker 8: Well you know when you when you when you write
- 20:21Speaker 8: a screenplay from your novel, you lose a lot of stuff.

- 24:22Speaker 3: Well, and if you haven't watched episode twelve, you have
- 24:25Speaker 3: to see the Christmas Cabin.
- 24:27Speaker 2: A beautiful episode, huge episode for us. We had so

- 24:45Speaker 7: six thousand, hundred gingerbread cooks.
- 24:48Speaker 1: So this was a whole thing, like you work on
- 24:50Speaker 1: a recipe that's cooks six hundred thousand.
- 24:54Speaker 3: Literally, I'm literally make them for the children's hospital, and

- 25:35Speaker 6: I forgot about the croquet, Paul.
- 25:36Speaker 7: We should talk about that.
- 25:39Speaker 11: That reminds me. That reminds me croquet.
- 25:43Speaker 4: So yeah, I think we had an amazing croquet consultant
- 25:46Speaker 4: on the show.
- 25:47Speaker 8: So was angry and he said, I don't know anything
- 25:53Speaker 8: about the game, and we said, nothing about this has
- 25:55Speaker 8: anything to do with croquet.
- 25:57Speaker 9: Why am I here every day?
- 25:59Speaker 2: She asked, why my hair every single day?
- 26:02Speaker 9: Well?
- 26:02Speaker 1: It was.
- 26:02Speaker 3: She was funny, but she I just didn't like your vibe.
- 26:05Speaker 3: I like laughing at her, but I didn't like what.
- 26:07Speaker 9: She had just.
- 26:10Speaker 11: I like, I think about her as a joke.
- 26:13Speaker 8: She was, that's very fun. Yeah, and that's what she was.
- 26:16Speaker 11: Fun that way, fun in that way.
- 26:18Speaker 7: If Emily didn't understand Brooks Maple's work, because like Brooks,
- 26:25Speaker 7: Brooks and Fable thinking, I'm so sorry, you.
- 26:29Speaker 2: Know the character who works.
- 26:35Speaker 6: Together.
- 26:36Speaker 2: It is it is a little bit.
- 26:40Speaker 7: But I will say that Emily didn't understand the volume
- 26:43Speaker 7: of your work.
- 26:44Speaker 9: Here.
- 26:44Speaker 7: All the books are about other people falling in love
- 26:46Speaker 7: in different environments. It's not about the environment, like the
- 26:50Speaker 7: Dentist School. The two people fall in love the dentist
- 26:53Speaker 7: School and that's not about dentistry, not.
- 26:57Speaker 8: Really, and a lot of a lot of every dentist
- 26:59Speaker 8: I see hates me.
- 27:02Speaker 2: And I love that book also, I mean you need feelings.
- 27:08Speaker 2: I loved it, thank you, love.
- 27:11Speaker 4: I mean the just the drama between this orthodontist and
- 27:16Speaker 4: a dental assistant.
- 27:18Speaker 2: Just forbid.
- 27:20Speaker 7: For how many female orthodontists Lesbian female orthodontists are out there?
- 27:26Speaker 2: Right, that's the lesbian one. So just can you tell
- 27:30Speaker 2: us do you like writing lesbian or gay more? Just
- 27:34Speaker 2: answer it already?
- 27:37Speaker 6: What about this?
- 27:37Speaker 7: What if we give you a job or a sport
- 27:39Speaker 7: and you say gay or lesbian.
- 27:42Speaker 8: Because that is kind of that's where I go.
- 27:45Speaker 2: And you don't have to lesbian. You can stick to
- 27:47Speaker 2: whatevery sexuality you want to say.
- 27:49Speaker 8: Oh, thank you all, just say the sexuality based on
- 27:51Speaker 8: what you give me, what you would write.
- 27:54Speaker 11: What how about how about baseball?
- 27:58Speaker 8: Oh, baseball is asexual?
- 28:01Speaker 2: Love that I love anxual woman.
- 28:03Speaker 11: I love an erotic asexual.
- 28:06Speaker 2: It's not gonna.
- 28:06Speaker 6: Happen, really good, really good. What about racing? Horse racing?
- 28:12Speaker 2: Oh that is that's lesbian? Yeah yeah, I was gonna say, yeah.

- 28:27Speaker 2: Oh, that that's a demi sexual.
- 28:30Speaker 8: Each marbles, competitive marble, competitive marbles.
- 28:35Speaker 9: Come on, gimme you guys lesbian. I don't know.
- 28:40Speaker 8: I'm gonna go fine, that's bisexual.
- 28:46Speaker 11: Yes, what about rowing?
- 28:48Speaker 8: Rowing is pan sexual, which a lot of people think
- 28:51Speaker 8: what's the difference?
- 28:53Speaker 2: And those people may be right. We don't know. We
- 28:59Speaker 2: don't know.
- 29:00Speaker 6: Got to improv comedy.
- 29:02Speaker 2: Comedy straight. Yeah, I kind of dipping in a straight romance.
- 29:10Speaker 2: Have I thought about dipping into it?
- 29:14Speaker 1: I just I saw that manuscript that you kind of
- 29:16Speaker 1: left out. It was interesting, It was interesting.
- 29:20Speaker 4: Okay, look, we don't want to push them on this
- 29:23Speaker 4: because we've broached the subject. And I know you're I
- 29:27Speaker 4: know you're not ready, but but but it is a
- 29:31Speaker 4: good manuscript, and I'm sorry we're being pushy, but.
- 29:33Speaker 9: It's so embarrassing.
- 29:35Speaker 7: It's embarrassing to write something straight and it be found
- 29:37Speaker 7: without you wanting to be shown.
- 29:41Speaker 8: Okay, So I know I just came out today on
- 29:43Speaker 8: this and I've I've been getting really mobbed and railed
- 29:48Speaker 8: since since this one took off because this is my
- 29:51Speaker 8: first huge hit.
- 29:53Speaker 6: Yeah, I can't believe the dentist lesbian dramedon' and that.
- 29:58Speaker 2: Sort of made me think, Okay, what is this?
- 30:03Speaker 8: You know? Uh, it made this safe. So the next
- 30:08Speaker 8: level for me is exploring what it would be like
- 30:17Speaker 8: to be an openly gay person who's secretly straight.
- 30:21Speaker 9: Wow.
- 30:22Speaker 6: Wow, And what sport or profession are they in?

- 34:07Speaker 1: kind of as a short play, a short film almost
- 34:10Speaker 1: like people like I just hear so many people getting
- 34:13Speaker 1: nervous like for auditions, and I just like never felt that.
- 34:17Speaker 1: I felt like it was like my opportunity to go
- 34:19Speaker 1: in there and show them something special. So like yeah,
- 34:23Speaker 1: like I just went in, I said hey, what's up?
- 34:26Speaker 1: And I did it. And yeah, the casting director said
- 34:30Speaker 1: I was great, and yeah, I went great. It was awesome,

- 34:55Speaker 2: saw this as another gig, and I basically was like,
- 34:57Speaker 2: I'll just go in. I loved the writing. It's much
- 35:00Speaker 2: so nice. You don't have to say that just goes out.
- 35:02Speaker 2: I really loved it.
- 35:03Speaker 3: That was amazing, and I just was having such a
- 35:06Speaker 3: good time doing it. I did self tape with my
- 35:08Speaker 3: friend and he was like my very special friend and
- 35:16Speaker 3: he was like, you're going to get this and I
- 35:17Speaker 3: said stop it and he said, no, you're going to
- 35:20Speaker 3: get this. And I felt good about the tape.
- 35:21Speaker 11: This was a very special friend you had.
- 35:23Speaker 2: Yeah, and I shot it.
- 35:24Speaker 3: You know a lot of people are doing auditions right
- 35:26Speaker 3: now where you shoot it kind of on location and
- 35:28Speaker 3: you're so smart.
- 35:29Speaker 2: So I shot it on a croquet field. I went
- 35:31Speaker 2: out into the field. Yeah.
- 35:33Speaker 7: I say that to actors all the time. I go,
- 35:35Speaker 7: what's stopping you from just making it?
- 35:37Speaker 2: Yeah? Literally, do it, just do it.
- 35:39Speaker 3: It's the first time I sent it in and I
- 35:41Speaker 3: got a call from the casting director. I'm not joking
- 35:45Speaker 3: half an hour later. They watched it immediately, but they
- 35:48Speaker 3: say you suck.
- 35:49Speaker 2: No kidding, dude, A kidding. I was like, wait, dude,
- 35:52Speaker 2: I know you're here with a part. It's great.

- 37:57Speaker 2: Well, he loved the book.
- 37:58Speaker 8: He actually he contacted me and said, I heard you're making,
- 38:01Speaker 8: you know, a series about the book? Is there any
- 38:06Speaker 8: way I could play a small part? I can only
- 38:08Speaker 8: give it out.
- 38:10Speaker 2: It's so nice to ask for something that you can

- 38:50Speaker 3: who fights through the unpredictable, and who can go and
- 38:53Speaker 3: defeat the odds, you hire someone named.

- 39:02Speaker 3: Saltt I mean without it, his name is Salt Wizard.
- 39:11Speaker 8: They only were as a team because without each other,

- 39:34Speaker 4: We would run through venues in Vancouver, like leaving the
- 39:38Speaker 4: saloon doors flapping at our right.
- 39:40Speaker 3: Well, it was so what we did was we ran
- 39:42Speaker 3: as we shot, and we actually took pictures instead of film,
- 39:48Speaker 3: so that when it looked back it felt.
- 39:51Speaker 2: Like slow motion. Well, we also did slow motion where
- 39:53Speaker 2: we had to do our words in two time speed.
- 39:55Speaker 12: Yeah.
- 39:57Speaker 2: Music video like a Coldplay music Yeah. It was crazy.
- 40:01Speaker 1: Yeah, Like the pictures were kind of like when an
- 40:03Speaker 1: anime runs out of money and has to do use
- 40:05Speaker 1: moving stills a little bit when you have the same technique, Because.
- 40:10Speaker 2: I think I.
- 40:14Speaker 1: Can I just ask you, like I've been like because
- 40:16Speaker 1: like as an actor, you know, like as an actor,
- 40:19Speaker 1: like to explore role is so interesting because like I
- 40:22Speaker 1: look at the text and I read the text and
- 40:24Speaker 1: the text becomes my Bible. But like I'm kind of interested,
- 40:27Speaker 1: like what were your themes and like what do you
- 40:31Speaker 1: like really grab from this experience? Like why did you
- 40:34Speaker 1: write the book? And like what were you trying to say?
- 40:37Speaker 1: Because I read the book once and loved it. Oh,
- 40:41Speaker 1: it's like my bible. I read it like one time.
- 40:43Speaker 11: It was Now were you able to hear anything they
- 40:45Speaker 11: were just saying? Because I found that so distracting.
- 40:49Speaker 2: Wait, what's distracting? You're just we're just hanging dude, we're
- 40:55Speaker 2: just friends.
- 40:55Speaker 8: We're just are you going to make any statements you
- 40:58Speaker 8: mentioned something earlier.
- 41:02Speaker 2: I'll do it after we pride, and I'll do it
- 41:05Speaker 2: right before we're on a float. We're on a float, right,
- 41:09Speaker 2: And why.
- 41:09Speaker 6: Can't you do it before the float?
- 41:11Speaker 2: I just don't want to. I just don't want it
- 41:13Speaker 2: to get I want to go there. I don't want
- 41:15Speaker 2: to concentrate it. I don't want to go there.
- 41:19Speaker 6: I don't want don't want to pay No problem.
- 41:21Speaker 3: Okay, We're so excited about the success of this, and
- 41:25Speaker 3: I'm just so excited. My best friend and I got
- 41:27Speaker 3: to make.
- 41:29Speaker 2: Hey, hey, my feet and.
- 41:35Speaker 6: Hi, leave it, drop it, drop it books.
- 41:44Speaker 8: You were going to answer, Yeah, it was very distracting.
- 41:47Speaker 8: I think you said something about themes in my book.
- 41:49Speaker 2: Like what do you why did you write it? What
- 41:52Speaker 2: do you want to do? What do you want it?
- 41:53Speaker 9: I want to do?
- 41:54Speaker 2: What do you want to? Yeah?
- 41:55Speaker 9: Like what are my themes?
- 41:58Speaker 2: What are your themes and stuff? I mean creation in Yeah,
- 42:01Speaker 2: just like in general, like you wanted to write something, Okay,
- 42:04Speaker 2: what are my themes?
- 42:05Speaker 1: Like?
- 42:05Speaker 6: Have you been in love? Do you have a partner?
- 42:07Speaker 6: I know your private life is really private.
- 42:09Speaker 2: Oh my god, that's such a good question.
- 42:12Speaker 9: I read your words.
- 42:12Speaker 6: I'll say this. I read your words, and I know
- 42:15Speaker 6: you're an incredible love maker, so I want.
- 42:19Speaker 2: To know, like how, Like, what where did you go there? Brooks?
- 42:29Speaker 9: Brooks?
- 42:29Speaker 2: Where did you go there?
- 42:31Speaker 9: Where did I?
- 42:32Speaker 2: Where did I go? Brooks?
- 42:33Speaker 11: You where energy and temperature in the room changed?
- 42:37Speaker 2: Where did you go go there? I'm right here, I'm
- 42:41Speaker 2: right here with you.
- 42:43Speaker 8: Brain.
- 42:46Speaker 6: Okay, uh uh okay, okay, what's going on?
- 42:54Speaker 9: Brooks?
- 42:54Speaker 6: What's going on?
- 42:57Speaker 2: Wow?
- 42:57Speaker 8: I'm getting very if you like to talking about if
- 43:00Speaker 8: you'd like to read an incredible love maker?
- 43:02Speaker 6: So just kind of.
- 43:05Speaker 8: Yeah, I mean this is I think everyone's obsessed with it, right,
- 43:08Speaker 8: They're obsessed with my words.
- 43:09Speaker 2: They're obsessed with what they're seeing in you, and that
- 43:11Speaker 2: is me. So well, you're not brook Brooks Maple in
- 43:16Speaker 2: the book, I'm everybody, but I'm everybody.
- 43:19Speaker 9: I'm gonna name.
- 43:20Speaker 2: Them all after me Bo Balloon. I felt like there's
- 43:24Speaker 2: no and what's your name?
- 43:29Speaker 6: Your Tica from Arizona?
- 43:30Speaker 11: You were all those people?
- 43:33Speaker 8: I Uh, I had an imaginary best friend when I
- 43:37Speaker 8: was a kid, as some people do, and I call
- 43:41Speaker 8: them Tika and Tika in there were two of them.
- 43:46Speaker 8: One was Tica, one was f And I used to,
- 43:50Speaker 8: you know, go for walks with them, and uh, they
- 43:54Speaker 8: tell me to take snacks out of the fridge. You look,
- 44:00Speaker 8: Oh wait, did you read my first book?
- 44:02Speaker 2: No, I just had a feeling that I knew this.
- 44:04Speaker 11: You intoned all this as an actor.
- 44:07Speaker 2: Read this, and I said, I think that this author
- 44:10Speaker 2: had an imaginary for nimpty.
- 44:13Speaker 7: I'll say this, this is funny you talk about the
- 44:15Speaker 7: snacks because it reminds me of chapter.
- 44:18Speaker 6: Five of Facebook.
- 44:19Speaker 2: Read it. Read it when you make a snack for
- 44:22Speaker 2: a balloon? Oh my god, one of my favorite passages
- 44:25Speaker 2: from these.
- 44:25Speaker 11: Snack for a balloon. It's a push and pull. It's
- 44:29Speaker 11: really like a battle for domination.
- 44:32Speaker 2: Absolutely log this so long to do that on set.
- 44:39Speaker 1: It was just like the amount of film that we wasted,
- 44:42Speaker 1: me trying to figure out how to make answer.
- 44:43Speaker 8: We shot this on film.
- 44:46Speaker 6: Film and you did it with and you made a
- 44:48Speaker 6: little croquet.
- 44:50Speaker 2: Mallett right, and.
- 44:53Speaker 8: You used a mini mallet to put the peanut butter
- 44:55Speaker 8: in the celery stead.
- 44:56Speaker 9: So good.
- 44:57Speaker 3: And the montage to that song was the we did
- 45:00Speaker 3: a dramatic version of Where's your Head at.
- 45:07Speaker 11: I am very excited to announce we heard we are
- 45:11Speaker 11: emailing that scene.

- 46:13Speaker 6: or something anyway.
- 46:16Speaker 4: But i'd love, especially while we're on this f y
- 46:18Speaker 4: C media blitz, would you read the passage of that scene,
- 46:22Speaker 4: or maybe we could do it as commentary where we
- 46:24Speaker 4: play the scene and we give commentary on what's happening.
- 46:28Speaker 7: We'll pause it, we'll pause it, but let's watch the
- 46:31Speaker 7: scene and then we can talk about having I read
- 46:33Speaker 7: a little play.
- 46:35Speaker 2: I love that, I love that, love love, I love
- 46:40Speaker 2: this balloon. Get off me, start to get in the
- 46:44Speaker 2: same place every chapter does. Get off me right, Get
- 46:48Speaker 2: off me?
- 46:48Speaker 4: What are you doing?
- 46:49Speaker 2: Mate? Shut up, dude, you idiot? Do you want to
- 46:52Speaker 2: snack you could see.
- 46:53Speaker 6: We filmed this on the option of a live on
- 46:57Speaker 6: a photo when you turn live on on iPhoto right,
- 47:00Speaker 6: because you could see it kind of move and that
- 47:01Speaker 6: starts back up. And I loved that choice.
- 47:03Speaker 2: Yeah, well we sort of picked it up when our
- 47:05Speaker 2: work with choice of all the all the photo. Yeah,
- 47:09Speaker 2: how would I show you my favorite snack? Ever? What's that?

- 47:17Speaker 1: you go buying us? You got marsh You stupid fucking moron.
- 47:22Speaker 11: He improvised that line.
- 47:24Speaker 9: Yeah, that's true. I didn't write it.
- 47:26Speaker 2: Slap your head off, clean off.
- 47:28Speaker 8: Let's go back to the Okay, So Balloon goes to
- 47:32Speaker 8: the kitchen and he pulls out a jar of peanut butter.
- 47:36Speaker 8: The lid's on really tight. His muscles are pulsing trying to.
- 47:42Speaker 2: Open the bar. Let me get it. No, you're too weak.
- 47:46Speaker 2: I can see in your croquet game too.
- 47:48Speaker 6: See now those muscles that shot right there, that's his
- 47:51Speaker 6: croquet double.
- 47:52Speaker 7: We got the double to do that because we wanted
- 47:54Speaker 7: it to look authentic, like a croquete croquet playing.
- 47:58Speaker 2: So it was cool to see it. I had a double.
- 48:01Speaker 2: Let me help you you person doesn't don't know the
- 48:04Speaker 2: first thing about anton a log one, Why don't you
- 48:07Speaker 2: go ahead and get me some raisins?
- 48:10Speaker 8: I love when Ta sends that was also improvised, but
- 48:14Speaker 8: was never supposed to leave.
- 48:18Speaker 2: All the.
- 48:20Speaker 8: Yes, that line really sent us on a whole days and.
- 48:24Speaker 9: And and China and and so.
- 48:28Speaker 8: China Jina China is on mother's name was confused, is
- 48:35Speaker 8: our mother, Jana is produces.
- 48:37Speaker 12: China Joina wizard wizards, and China is our mom and
- 48:43Speaker 12: China is their mom.
- 48:45Speaker 8: Okay, okay, anyway, finished reading?
- 48:48Speaker 2: Oh right?
- 48:49Speaker 8: So uh, well, in in the book version, he doesn't
- 48:53Speaker 8: leave to get raises the book.
- 48:55Speaker 11: So we'll skip to yes.
- 48:56Speaker 8: So uh, Balloon looks at Tika's Tika grabs a box
- 49:04Speaker 8: of raisins. He he just scatters them across the kitchen counter.
- 49:10Speaker 8: Balloon says, you're just making a mess, not a snack.
- 49:14Speaker 2: No good mess, nor a snack Levey. These raisins aren't
- 49:17Speaker 2: good enough. Go back and get me more.
- 49:21Speaker 7: And then we realized he just kept sending him to Oldie,
- 49:24Speaker 7: and I was getting a little bothered.
- 49:27Speaker 9: I love you, I love you, I love you.
- 49:30Speaker 3: It was just hard to for you to improvise kind
- 49:33Speaker 3: of innocuous sentences that just set us back a whole day.
- 49:37Speaker 2: And that's just man like.
- 49:39Speaker 1: If my character doesn't believe the raisins are good enough
- 49:41Speaker 1: for ants and a log, he's not gonna believe wouldn't.
- 49:44Speaker 4: Enough love the choice deduction nightmare. Of course this did
- 49:49Speaker 4: put you in the emotional place. And I know this
- 49:52Speaker 4: is a time when we were we were telepathically organizing this. You.
- 49:57Speaker 4: We needed you in such a fit, in such a
- 50:00Speaker 4: date that you could blow up in the following scene.
- 50:04Speaker 8: We've we've been talking about how you weren't in an
- 50:06Speaker 8: emotionals place yet, and we really you know. I turned
- 50:11Speaker 8: to them and they said, we've got this.
- 50:13Speaker 4: And I've watched a lot of TikTok clips about directors
- 50:16Speaker 4: lying to actors to make them do stuff, locking them.
- 50:20Speaker 9: In rooms and things, and I did.
- 50:22Speaker 3: I remember we used that real all the cashier and
- 50:27Speaker 3: I had to ask for the raisins where the raisins were?
- 50:31Speaker 3: And she said why And she wasn't even an actor
- 50:35Speaker 3: And I'm so.
- 50:35Speaker 6: Bad too, because we loved her up without her even
- 50:37Speaker 6: noticing the men's.
- 50:42Speaker 11: We used a lot of tragician distraction techniques.
- 50:45Speaker 6: Stuff felt wrong, right.
- 50:47Speaker 2: We didn't pay her, but you got her.
- 50:51Speaker 8: Well yeah, yeah she I don't know what's going to
- 50:54Speaker 8: happen if she sees the show and figures out, well.
- 50:56Speaker 6: Listen, if the government can love us, we can love them.
- 50:59Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 50:59Speaker 1: Literally, you're always you are talking, and all the cashiers
- 51:05Speaker 1: are the government.
- 51:07Speaker 2: So we got him back in the chapter, We're just like,
- 51:10Speaker 2: please please.
- 51:11Speaker 8: Of course, of course, Tica opens a drawer and pulls
- 51:17Speaker 8: out a miniature mallet, just like, just like for the
- 51:22Speaker 8: game croquet.
- 51:24Speaker 2: You know, if we play right now, I'm not letting
- 51:26Speaker 2: you in.
- 51:27Speaker 6: I like to see you try, just like a stock cross,
- 51:33Speaker 6: just like.
- 51:41Speaker 9: And I want.
- 51:44Speaker 2: Fact I thrown at twenty five.
- 51:47Speaker 9: That day.
- 51:49Speaker 11: And you kept asking for a spit bucket. I remember,
- 51:52Speaker 11: we couldn't find it. We had one on side, we
- 51:54Speaker 11: just couldn't find it. Was crazy, It was crazy.
- 51:58Speaker 8: It was crazy because your name's bucket and the phone
- 52:00Speaker 8: bucket anywhere.
- 52:04Speaker 6: Bucket, where's the bucket?
- 52:07Speaker 2: No bucket for bucket, Star didn't have a bucket.
- 52:13Speaker 7: My face with result was it doesn't have a bucket,
- 52:15Speaker 7: But Blizard doesn't have a bucket.
- 52:19Speaker 2: Everyone your face rest it doesn't.
- 52:23Speaker 6: Have a bucket. Oh god, I'm so excited about everyone.
- 52:27Speaker 2: Was the hottest scenes that we done. People are really
- 52:30Speaker 2: obsessed with it. It's like gone mega viral. Ants and
- 52:33Speaker 2: a log have gone viral literally that song, it was
- 52:37Speaker 2: an interesting song. And yeah, we also did c Bailey
- 52:43Speaker 2: Ray's Girl put Your Record on at one point for one.
- 52:45Speaker 7: Of the that was the croquete, the croquet training montage
- 52:50Speaker 7: that we're big fans of, Corina.
- 52:52Speaker 2: Let's play it. Will you want to read a little bit,
- 52:54Speaker 2: we'll go into it right.
- 52:55Speaker 8: Okay, so this is the training montage. So this is
- 52:58Speaker 8: actually right before for Tka and Balloon first meet.
- 53:04Speaker 6: Because they're in Rookie Croquet series. This is a rookie croquette.
- 53:08Speaker 11: This is like the minor leagues. It's sort of a
- 53:10Speaker 11: croquet farm system.
- 53:12Speaker 8: Yeah, there's a little bit of an exhibition training. They're
- 53:15Speaker 8: both interested in the game.
- 53:18Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 53:19Speaker 8: Uh, they've sort of seen each other walking in, but
- 53:22Speaker 8: they haven't spoken to each other yet.
- 53:26Speaker 9: Okay, everybody, grab your mallets.
- 53:28Speaker 2: You're gonna use that on that one. I use a
- 53:31Speaker 2: big one, Sorry, buddy, that's my mallet. That's the one
- 53:34Speaker 2: I used put record. I need that mallett. I'm not
- 53:44Speaker 2: giving you that mallet. It's mine, that's my mallet.
- 53:50Speaker 9: You can go. I'll tell you this.
- 53:52Speaker 6: If we're gonna shoot on real film, we're gonna use
- 53:53Speaker 6: real audio in the and I wanted to get a stereo.
- 53:56Speaker 6: But the last that song, Yes, the last that song,
- 53:59Speaker 6: get them to speak.
- 54:00Speaker 11: We played put your record on practical in the room.
- 54:05Speaker 8: I loved the I love the cover of it slowed down.
- 54:11Speaker 8: Later at the Christmas Oh Gavin.
- 54:15Speaker 7: When Balloon is making out with a chess player, to
- 54:19Speaker 7: make you jealous, I love you.
- 54:21Speaker 2: I love you, lady, I love you, lady, lady, I
- 54:25Speaker 2: love you, lady.
- 54:38Speaker 9: We never even snog. We never even.
- 54:46Speaker 6: Want them to do it.
- 54:47Speaker 2: Hold so.
- 54:51Speaker 9: I don't want to be able to hear that.
- 54:53Speaker 6: We turn it out, Salt Wizard, where's the bucket?
- 55:02Speaker 3: You know what's so funny about that scene is somebody
