These guys are not living long,

and we've got a Korean War veteran,

a captain that served at Iwo Jima.

He's in a veteran's home.

And before these guys pass away,

it occurred to me that their stories are

very important.

know but um if they're not recorded you

know they're they get lost so um that's

where it kind of like you know i

i had kind of wanted to sit down

and and uh interview these guys find out

their stories and uh you know and and

just uh find a way to to you

know allow that to live in history yeah

So that's why it kind of prompted me,
