- 3:38[SPEAKER_04]: Because your book is the entry point, not the end point.
- 3:42[SPEAKER_04]: So, when you bring all three of us together, publishing power, marketing, mastery, and the business monetization, you get something really, really special.
- 3:52[SPEAKER_04]: Yes, go.

- 3:54[SPEAKER_04]: This is the event that every author speaker and expert who's tired of selling books or just selling books who's tired of just selling books and ready to start building wealth from their words, so I don't need this anymore.

- 4:21[SPEAKER_04]: So we had a bill that we came together.
- 4:24[SPEAKER_04]: Oh, thank.
- 4:26[SPEAKER_05]: Oh, they loan man.
- 4:27[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
- 4:27[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, I am so excited.
- 4:29[SPEAKER_01]: You just hide this up even more.
- 4:30[SPEAKER_01]: Can we get a bit run around?
- 4:32[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 4:48[SPEAKER_04]: But look for the audience, you know, I know I read your bios a little bit, but for the audience, talk to the who who who is to read of Listen, I Man, I don't even know where to start because it's multi-complex, right, but what I will say this just to kind of narrow it down
- 5:07[SPEAKER_01]: I'm an entrepreneur like you said.
- 5:08[SPEAKER_01]: I've always tried literally everything under the sun.
- 5:11[SPEAKER_01]: 1999 is when I first started my journey of entrepreneurship.
- 5:14[SPEAKER_01]: I sold knives, vacuum cleaners, I used to be a bail bondsman or woman.
- 5:19[SPEAKER_01]: I did.
- 5:20[SPEAKER_01]: But people could get locked up around that time.
- 5:22[SPEAKER_01]: I wasn't a club.
- 5:23[SPEAKER_01]: So they kept getting locked up when I was outside.
- 5:25[SPEAKER_01]: So they'd be working out.
- 5:27[SPEAKER_01]: They're not done in shirts.
- 5:28[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, I tried it all.
- 5:30[SPEAKER_01]: And that's the key word.
- 5:31[SPEAKER_01]: Like, try per newer.
- 5:32[SPEAKER_01]: It was for 10 years.
- 5:33[SPEAKER_01]: I kept trying different things.
- 5:37[SPEAKER_01]: It wasn't until around 2009 that I got focused.
- 5:42[SPEAKER_01]: My father actually passed away from cancer, which kind of changed my trajectory in life, but also just like how life works.
- 5:49[SPEAKER_01]: Like we don't have forever.
- 5:51[SPEAKER_01]: And so when I moved to Atlanta in 2009, I was like, I'm gonna get focused on one thing and I am not gonna give up.
- 5:57[SPEAKER_01]: end up getting a network marketing long story short i wrote a book that's a whole other story but long story short a wrote a book and it was like when i wrote that book door started opening for me that never opened for me even in the industry that we're marketing and i was a top income earner in the industry so i was like oh i got something here and i wanted to show others really it was others in network marketing how to use a book to build their brand and business versus building the company
- 6:24[SPEAKER_01]: and yeah, fast forward to today.
- 6:26[SPEAKER_01]: I've just paid attention to the audience in the marketplace and we talk about books.
- 6:31[SPEAKER_01]: Most authors are not really selling books the way that we know that they could, but then it's also like use your book as a marketing tool.
- 6:39[SPEAKER_01]: The biggest mistake authors make it say right books to sell books versus writing a book to sell.
- 6:45[SPEAKER_01]: And so I will say that's my shortest.
- 6:48[SPEAKER_04]: All right.
- 6:49[SPEAKER_04]: All right.
- 6:49[SPEAKER_04]: All right.
- 6:50[SPEAKER_04]: We will get boy into it.
- 6:51[SPEAKER_04]: Man, that's time to,
- 6:53[SPEAKER_05]: He's like, he's mine, he's mine, he's mine, he's mine, he's mine, he's mine, he's mine, he's mine, he's mine, he's mine, he's mine, he's mine, he's mine, he's mine, he's mine, he's mine, he's mine, he's mine, he's mine, he's mine, he's mine, he's mine, he's mine, he's mine, he's mine, he's mine, he's mine, he's mine, he's mine, he's mine, he's mine, he's mine, he's mine, he's mine, he's mine, he's mine, he's mine, he's mine, he's mine, he's mine, he's mine, he's mine, he's mine, he's mine, he's mine, he's mine, he's mine, he's mine, he's mine, he's mine, he's mine, he's mine, he's mine, he's mine, he's mine
- 7:21[SPEAKER_05]: Like the entrepreneurs journey started for me around 1989, 1990, so we're in there.
- 7:26[SPEAKER_05]: But my book right in journey started, it was a guy by the name of James Malinchek.
- 7:30[SPEAKER_05]: He had a home study course and he said, if you want to be a authoritative, if you want to go, if you won't speak in engagements, if you want to be that person and use your voice in your story, you got to write a book.
- 7:40[SPEAKER_05]: So I took his home study course, wrote a book in 2008, co-authored it with my guy shout out to my boy Cheresh May.
- 7:47[SPEAKER_05]: uh... we wrote the book we in the clubs uh... with you know with the book you know seven of book in the closet and whatever we got to do and then two thousand twelve i moved to l.a.a.
- 7:56[SPEAKER_05]: and i started working with uh... tavis smiley and uh... tavis smiley became a mentor of mine and the legend and the legend and then doctor cornell west and worked upon them for a minute
- 8:05[SPEAKER_05]: And from there, I went to Arsenio Hall show.
- 8:09[SPEAKER_05]: Worked in Arsenio Hall show, brought his show back to CBS in 2013.
- 8:13[SPEAKER_05]: And then I wrote my book, Livy Dreams Out Loud in 2014, and it completely changed my life.
- 8:18[SPEAKER_05]: I was grinding, driving over, you know, I'm sending the time because his show had gotten canceled.
- 8:23[SPEAKER_05]: And I remember my boy called me, and he's like, bro, why are you still driving over?
- 8:28[SPEAKER_05]: Like, don't you got a book coming out?
- 8:29[SPEAKER_05]: And I was like, yeah, he's like, have you considered pre-selling your book?
- 8:33[SPEAKER_05]: And I'm like,
- 8:34[SPEAKER_05]: That's a great idea.
- 8:35[SPEAKER_05]: Pre-solder book made like 15K in like two weeks.
- 8:39[SPEAKER_05]: That changed everything for me.
- 8:41[SPEAKER_05]: Went on a whole PR tour across the country and just that changed everything for me.
- 8:47[SPEAKER_05]: And that just started opening up so many doors and then everybody started inquiring saying, how did you do this?
- 8:51[SPEAKER_05]: How did you do this?
- 8:52[SPEAKER_05]: How are you getting this beacon engagement?
- 8:53[SPEAKER_05]: How are you getting booked on these shows because I was getting booked on shows all across the country?
- 8:58[SPEAKER_05]: And from there bro, it just kind of it kind of blew up and exploded of people wanting to inquire and I was like, oh, I got a business.
- 9:05[SPEAKER_05]: In 2020 when COVID happened, it really exploded because everybody was at home and everybody wanted to write and so now
- 9:11[SPEAKER_05]: You know, my framework that I teach is purpose-published profit.
- 9:14[SPEAKER_05]: Livry dreams out loud as my company and we service and help individuals, literally globally around the country from actors and attainers, CEOs, I mean, anybody we help.
- 9:24[SPEAKER_05]: And so us coming together to create this force in this union, I feel like nobody's ever done anything like this.
- 9:30[SPEAKER_05]: I agree.
- 9:30[SPEAKER_05]: No, I'm just grateful to be in this space with you all.
- 9:33[SPEAKER_05]: I mean, I think the energy.
- 9:34[SPEAKER_05]: I think one thing that we're not like, yes, this is the author income summit.
- 9:37[SPEAKER_05]: But this is three individuals coming together, no ego, no friction.
- 9:41[SPEAKER_05]: You're going to keep hearing me say that because the bond and the unity that we have and just the openness and just understanding our pros and our cons and our strengths and our weaknesses is amazing.
- 9:50[SPEAKER_04]: I will say that it is refreshing that our energy is consistent.
- 9:56[SPEAKER_04]: You know what I'm saying?
- 9:57[SPEAKER_04]: I do this way for those who are pressing it.
- 9:58[SPEAKER_04]: It is refreshing to like, all right.
- 10:01[SPEAKER_04]: Like, you know, you know, it's like dating or whatever, right?
- 10:03[SPEAKER_04]: Like the first few dates is like, all right, cool.
- 10:06[SPEAKER_04]: And after, well, you know what I mean?
- 10:07[SPEAKER_04]: You come to me, he starts all right.
- 10:09[SPEAKER_03]: All right.
- 10:09[SPEAKER_04]: Just call it, just call it, just call it, just call it, like I appreciate that we are just, you know, who we are.
- 10:16[SPEAKER_04]: You know, for me, I mean, most people know my story who watched the show or if this is your first time watching, maybe you don't.
- 10:22[SPEAKER_04]: But by journey,
- 10:23[SPEAKER_04]: Same thing, I was an entrepreneur early, so I was an entrepreneur, since I was eight years old, packin' bags in the local supermarket, did everything, you know, fixin' pikes, whatever, you know what I mean?
- 10:33[SPEAKER_04]: Graduated from,
- 10:36[SPEAKER_04]: Packin' bags to selling mixed tapes and t-shirts, all three fisheries.
- 10:41[SPEAKER_04]: Um, got, you know, got my first job when I was 17 years old, we're gonna black list the videos.
- 10:47[SPEAKER_04]: Opportunity become a banker came when I was 18.
- 10:52[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, 18.
- 10:54[SPEAKER_04]: Did everything a bank in from teller to personal maker, private maker, branch manager.
- 10:58[SPEAKER_04]: I kind of felt like I was moving away from who I was wanted to serve, which was my neighborhood
- 11:06[SPEAKER_04]: And I got your point in banking where I was like managing money for like wealthy individuals and I was like I want to do that.
- 11:12[SPEAKER_04]: I want to you know, I want to you know, you know, what was Jay-Z?
- 11:15[SPEAKER_04]: Jay-Z said there's much bigger issues in the world I know so I first have to take care of the world.
- 11:19[SPEAKER_04]: I know Decided I want to start volunteering and and teaching and talking or whatever Similar to you.
- 11:25[SPEAKER_04]: I wasn't it was a seminar, but somebody I was I was speaking one day and it was like May you show powerful blah blah like how much do you charge to speak?
- 11:34[SPEAKER_04]: I was like, oh, it's like, I think he gets anything and I told him to do.
- 11:38[SPEAKER_04]: I was like, I don't get paid.
- 11:40[SPEAKER_04]: I just do this volunteer.
- 11:41[SPEAKER_04]: He was like, are you buddy?
- 11:42[SPEAKER_04]: I like it should be paid.
- 11:44[SPEAKER_04]: That's all the funny thing is I started to go around and try to get paid and I thought it was a pretty big deal that all was a CEO of a credit union I did all this thing especially a black guy from a project so I used to lead with that and no one cared Like they don't care that was a VP about 24 that I was 31 as a CEO of a career.
- 12:03[SPEAKER_04]: I know about it care And it's one day somebody told me it's like you should write a book if you write a book and give you the authority
- 12:10[SPEAKER_04]: Um, I wrote my first book in 2009, um, immediately got the authority like I immediately was like, you know, people would Giving like no people who never heard of me before named life.
- 12:21[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, I'll be like, yeah, that's the author of my right
- 12:28[SPEAKER_04]: You know who that is?
- 12:30[SPEAKER_04]: But that's what all, like it's just part of Matthew gave me the authority.
- 12:33[SPEAKER_04]: So it was that at that moment that I realized, yes, and to be honest with y'all, and I would love to hear your thoughts on this.
- 12:40[SPEAKER_04]: But to be honest with y'all, I really thought that I was going to be rich off a book.
- 12:44[SPEAKER_04]: Right, so I put my first work out for sure.
- 12:46[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, I thought I was going to sell million copies.
- 12:49[SPEAKER_04]: I had this whole thing mapped out.
- 12:50[SPEAKER_04]: I was going to sell 50,000 books.
- 12:52[SPEAKER_04]: It's like how does it get crazy with it?
- 12:54[SPEAKER_04]: And I don't remember my first time as an author.
- 12:58[SPEAKER_04]: You had mad books in my garage.
- 13:00[SPEAKER_04]: They're sitting there.
- 13:01[SPEAKER_04]: And I'm like, yo, how am I?
- 13:03[SPEAKER_04]: Like, I'm not making no money off these books.
- 13:05[SPEAKER_04]: And that's when I realized, like, yo, it got to be another way.
- 13:08[SPEAKER_04]: It wasn't until 2018.
- 13:12[SPEAKER_04]: that you know, so I wrote my first book, so it was like nine years later, I'll still try to hustle and figure it out.
- 13:18[SPEAKER_04]: Nine years later, I figured out what I call the six-figure author blueprint.
- 13:23[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 13:25[SPEAKER_04]: I wrote a book, it was about Jay-Z and the 444 albums, right?
- 13:29[SPEAKER_04]: So Jay-Z put out 444 June 30 of 2017, I remember the day midnight sat there, was listening to the album, I listen to the story of O.J., I kept listening to over and over and over again.
- 13:42[SPEAKER_04]: I'm like, Joe, he talking that talk.
- 13:44[SPEAKER_04]: I really thought that, you know, you know, you know, you
- 13:49[SPEAKER_04]: that was it.
- 13:49[SPEAKER_04]: But I kept listening, kept listening.
- 13:51[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, he talked about him.
- 13:52[SPEAKER_04]: Cheen on Beyonce, whatever, but most of the album was him talking about, you know, wealth.
- 13:58[SPEAKER_04]: And I said, yo, I'm gonna teach this.
- 14:01[SPEAKER_04]: So I started teaching it.
- 14:03[SPEAKER_04]: Long story short, I wrote a book called Wake Up Call, which I still is one of my highest album books to this day.
- 14:10[SPEAKER_04]: It's called The Wake Up Call, Financial Lesson 444.
- 14:13[SPEAKER_04]: I created courses.
- 14:15[SPEAKER_04]: I started going speaking.
- 14:16[SPEAKER_04]: I started making digital money off of that and I was the first year, 2018 was the first year I made six niggas off of books and from that time forward, I was like, no, this is it.
- 14:27[SPEAKER_04]: I'm going to use my book to sell my courses, to sell my community, to sell high ticket programs and that's the formula.
- 14:36[SPEAKER_04]: That's where I used to this day for myself.
- 14:38[SPEAKER_04]: I have clients that I help write books but then I also monetize them and here we are.
- 14:43[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 14:44[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 14:45[SPEAKER_01]: Well, you know, when I wrote my, when I wrote the first book, um, I honestly, I didn't even really think about like selling it literally, again, well, I'll tell you reason why I did it.
- 14:54[SPEAKER_01]: So at the time, I was a, a top income earner in the industry and I sat down with this lawyer.
- 14:59[SPEAKER_01]: And when I was telling him, I'm trying to sling some coffee.
- 15:02[SPEAKER_01]: I was in a coffee business.
- 15:03[SPEAKER_01]: I might know what he is.
- 15:04[SPEAKER_01]: So I was a coffee business.
- 15:06[SPEAKER_01]: And I was trying to recruit him.
- 15:07[SPEAKER_01]: And when he realized it was a beer man, he was like, girl, get him my face.
- 15:11[SPEAKER_01]: So in my mind, I was like, you know, I'm probably making where I'm money to him.
- 15:14[SPEAKER_01]: And he trying to play me like I'm some sucker.
- 15:16[SPEAKER_01]: And so I was like, let me write a book so that people will respect me.
- 15:20[SPEAKER_01]: So that was like, ultimately, the reason why.
- 15:22[SPEAKER_01]: I was like, I want to write a book so that when I go in front of these lawyers and doctors and executives and entrepreneurs, I don't have to leave with the company.
- 15:30[SPEAKER_01]: I leave with the fact that I'm success.
- 15:32[SPEAKER_01]: And then that's when I was like, okay, and I had no idea other than I was just going to use it to recruit more people into my home-based business But then this girl came up and he was like, you know, can you coach me?
- 15:42[SPEAKER_01]: I was like, well, yeah, you gotta sign up, gotta get a go-pack.
- 15:46[SPEAKER_01]: I was like, man, I'm giving this company all this landy right for them for me to coach them.
- 15:50[SPEAKER_01]: I was like, and then I sold like my first coaching course for like $500 and I have five people signed up and I was like
- 15:57[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, wait a minute, $2,500, I kept for like a quick presentation.
- 16:01[SPEAKER_01]: And so that's really for me.
- 16:02[SPEAKER_01]: It was literally to get respect.
- 16:04[SPEAKER_01]: Like I wrote it for respect.
- 16:05[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, yeah.
- 16:06[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 16:07[SPEAKER_04]: And so let me ask y'all, like at what point,
- 16:12[SPEAKER_04]: did y'all start figuring out that there was that books were more than just a calling car, but something that you could use as a marketing tool to make a lot of money.
- 16:24[SPEAKER_04]: Cause I know you go sidewalks and like you make a lot of money off of that, like when did you win the y'all realize this is a powerful tool?
- 16:34[SPEAKER_05]: I think it was, I think Brendan Bershard, like I started seeing how other cats, I think our programming,
- 16:41[SPEAKER_05]: because we just stop at the book like, oh, we gonna make this money like, if I just sell like 5,000 copies like independent, I can make a lot of money here.
- 16:49[SPEAKER_05]: But when I started learning about back in its systems and truly like leverage in the book and so many different ways to monetize the book because my first book that I wrote in 2008 similar to you was more so about, let me position myself as a speaker.
- 17:02[SPEAKER_05]: 2014 book was me sharing my message and my story about me being functionally depressed and contemplating suicide.
- 17:10[SPEAKER_05]: So it was my story like there's a different purpose and a different mission that drove me But I'm like there's gotta be more that I can create to give people because people started asking for more
- 17:19[SPEAKER_05]: They want to more.
- 17:20[SPEAKER_05]: They want to the book.
- 17:21[SPEAKER_05]: They do you have a course.
- 17:22[SPEAKER_05]: Do you do you coach?
- 17:23[SPEAKER_05]: Do you do this?
- 17:24[SPEAKER_05]: And when people ask you that for anybody that's paying attention, if they're asking, yes, you do even if you don't.
- 17:30[SPEAKER_05]: Right.
- 17:30[SPEAKER_05]: Right.
- 17:31[SPEAKER_05]: Create in that moment.
- 17:32[SPEAKER_05]: And it's not falsifying.
- 17:34[SPEAKER_05]: It's like, yes, you do because there's layers to your book.
- 17:37[SPEAKER_05]: And your book is really just a lead generation tool at the end of the day.
- 17:41[SPEAKER_05]: It's a great framing for you.
- 17:43[SPEAKER_05]: But they always want to go deeper.
- 17:44[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, yeah, people want the transformation.
- 17:47[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, and if you if you titled the book right y'all know I was talking about Alex from Rosie he just came out with it.
- 17:53[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, no disrespect.
- 17:55[SPEAKER_01]: Have you all seen the cover?
- 17:56[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, I see it.
- 17:57[SPEAKER_05]: It's basic space.
- 17:58[SPEAKER_05]: It's basic space.
- 17:58[SPEAKER_01]: You see how thick it is.
- 17:59[SPEAKER_05]: Yep.
- 18:00[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah
- 18:00[SPEAKER_01]: It's a hardback.
- 18:01[SPEAKER_01]: And when you add in like the shipping, it comes to like $45 dollars.
- 18:04[SPEAKER_01]: This man, they said he did like $25 million, but he spent about a half a million dollars a day.
- 18:10[SPEAKER_01]: But what I calculated, even if he just had like a $5,000 course.
- 18:13[SPEAKER_01]: So we know he probably charge the $25,000 plus for his high ticket.
- 18:18[SPEAKER_01]: He made, he did over a billion dollars from when he did it.
- 18:21[SPEAKER_01]: And again, like you said, because people want transformation.
- 18:23[SPEAKER_01]: They don't really want the information in the book.
- 18:25[SPEAKER_01]: Most people don't even want to read the facts.
- 18:27[SPEAKER_04]: That's a fact.
- 18:28[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 18:28[SPEAKER_04]: And I'm glad you mentioned that because I think that when I saw what Alex from Mozi did, it was like, it was like a hallelujah moment for me because I felt like I've been trying to tell people, this is the model, yeah.
- 18:47[SPEAKER_04]: And he used that same model.
- 18:50[SPEAKER_04]: to make a billion dollar billion.
- 18:53[SPEAKER_04]: Like, that's crazy to me, right?
- 18:55[SPEAKER_04]: Femmed to be able to do that.
- 18:57[SPEAKER_04]: But I want to ask you don't to read because I know like you, you, you, you, you, you to start, you know all the stats and all that stuff, right?
- 19:02[SPEAKER_04]: Talk a little bit about like authors, right?
- 19:05[SPEAKER_04]: Cause a lot of people who watching this,
- 19:07[SPEAKER_04]: Um, specifically probably have a book I did.
- 19:10[SPEAKER_04]: They want to, they want to write a book.
- 19:12[SPEAKER_04]: Um, and they're, they're tuning in.
- 19:14[SPEAKER_04]: We want, obviously, we want you to join the author income summit.
- 19:18[SPEAKER_04]: Um, but you know, I want this to be sort of like a masterclass to a little bit.
- 19:22[SPEAKER_04]: Right, or a preview of what they'll get inside of the summit.
- 19:26[SPEAKER_04]: Um, but a lot of people will.
- 19:28[SPEAKER_04]: Um, who they distinct that they write the book that automatically like this authority that we're talking about.
- 19:34[SPEAKER_04]: Well, this money that we talk about comes automatically, can you talk a little bit about the stats?
- 19:39[SPEAKER_01]: Yes, yes, 11,000 books.
- 19:42[SPEAKER_01]: Today we're published.
- 19:44[SPEAKER_01]: So that means yesterday 11,000.
- 19:46[SPEAKER_01]: tomorrow 11,000.
- 19:47[SPEAKER_01]: And then out of the 11,000 on all different types of topics, all genres, everything, only out of the 11,000, 10,000 of them won't even make a thousand dollars for the life of the bull.
- 19:57[SPEAKER_01]: So that's selling 40 copies.
- 20:00[SPEAKER_01]: A total of the life for the whole life.
- 20:02[SPEAKER_01]: Not, and I don't know what y'all, I can't live off a thousand dollars.
- 20:05[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, let it low 10.
- 20:06[SPEAKER_01]: In fact, most authors don't even make 10 that we talk about even the highest incoming earnings.
- 20:11[SPEAKER_01]: They don't even earn like 10,000 a year.
- 20:14[SPEAKER_01]: So when we think about it like, okay, well, why is it that so many people are writing these books and not having success because we've been lied to we've been told that, you know, if you just posted on somebody's third party sites people going all of a sudden find you.
- 20:27[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know how we think that they don't find us and all of a sudden like we like we all thought like let me sell these books and I'm going to make a million dollar selling books.
- 20:35[SPEAKER_01]: And so, no, you've got to first think about what is the marketplace one.
- 20:39[SPEAKER_01]: And the crazy thing is, y'all, like everybody that's watching, you've dealt with so many different things in your life if you just pick one.
- 20:47[SPEAKER_01]: Just just take one year that you overcame something and make that a movement, because that right there can build you a million dollar business.
- 20:54[SPEAKER_01]: Just offer that.
- 20:55[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 20:55[SPEAKER_01]: Overcoming this, how to do that steps to this literally.
- 20:59[SPEAKER_01]: And so, let's not be one of the 10,000.
- 21:01[SPEAKER_05]: Let's be one of the one that's.
- 21:05[SPEAKER_05]: is that most people don't understand that a book is a business.
- 21:09[SPEAKER_05]: Absolutely, we don't understand business.
- 21:11[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
- 21:11[SPEAKER_05]: And so I think that was a hurdle for me.
- 21:13[SPEAKER_05]: That was a real hurdle for me initially.
- 21:15[SPEAKER_05]: Like I didn't understand business at its core.
- 21:17[SPEAKER_05]: So when I started learning more about business, that's when the back end stuff really truly started to make sense.
- 21:22[SPEAKER_05]: You know, that book was just a front-end piece, but when I started really learning business, that made sense to me about the depths of what you can go through and how you can earn and create.
- 21:30[SPEAKER_05]: And like she just said, you focus for a year, you learn business, you turn that book into a business, and you really architect the system of what we're going to teach you here at Opera Income Summit.
- 21:41[SPEAKER_05]: I'll be some day.
- 21:42[SPEAKER_04]: Man, I'm actually glad you said that, because I had a prospect that I spoke to the other day
- 21:53[SPEAKER_04]: book business and you just made the label go up to me to realize that this person didn't know about business because we've been talking about doing a book for for very long time and for whatever reasons they wanted to go with a like a hybrid publicist not even like a it's not even like Simon like that's like a proper publicist and I looked at the like the contract or whatever or what they were offering and I'm saying this person
- 22:21[SPEAKER_04]: Why would you sign this deal?
- 22:23[SPEAKER_04]: Why would you do this deal with a hybrid publisher and do something that you could probably do yourself?
- 22:30[SPEAKER_04]: But then also this hybrid publisher does it like they're guaranteeing you money based on... What do you sell?
- 22:38[SPEAKER_04]: What do you sell?
- 22:40[SPEAKER_04]: Book sales, but they don't have the whole system.
- 22:42[SPEAKER_04]: They don't have the whole way to monetize.
- 22:47[SPEAKER_04]: And I think,
- 22:48[SPEAKER_04]: That is the biggest thing that, and it will, we're gonna teach you in the author income summit, is how do you treat your book as a business?
- 22:58[SPEAKER_04]: Because I'm published 20 books, but all of my books are a business.
- 23:02[SPEAKER_04]: Like I do not go on any platform without promoting my books, without promoting what I do,
- 23:10[SPEAKER_04]: And me promoting my books is promoting my business because every the the way that I write now every time somebody reads a book I'm leaving you into something else that I offer.
- 23:22[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, a product of service that I offer and I do that in that way and so a lot of people
- 23:26[SPEAKER_04]: who are going to these hybrid publishers.
- 23:29[SPEAKER_04]: Because first of all, most assignment issues is not going to sign you, right?
- 23:33[SPEAKER_04]: You have to have a literary agent.
- 23:35[SPEAKER_04]: And a literary agent is going to present you to this, you know, the publishing company.
- 23:42[SPEAKER_04]: It's like the music business now, right?
- 23:45[SPEAKER_04]: You have to have some following or some type of demand for them to even give you anything.
- 23:50[SPEAKER_04]: And the truth of the matter is that in my estimation of it, the only thing that really offering you is relationships.
- 23:57[SPEAKER_04]: They're going to open a door to have the relationship and they're going to get you on certain platforms or whatever the case may be other than that the true for the matter is and and I think we we've made more and can make more money than
- 24:15[SPEAKER_01]: they will ever make.
- 24:16[SPEAKER_01]: They will ever make because they given they're going to give the publishing company all their money and even if that's always something like unless they write you like a million dollar check up front I would even entertain it because you're basically going to be working your tail off just like in the music industry until you recoup them and then it ain't even 100% I met a guy he was a what a publishing company selling his book for $30 he was telling me he made $5.00
- 24:40[SPEAKER_01]: that goes back towards his, he's, he's, he's a fan, yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 24:45[SPEAKER_01]: $5 per book.
- 24:46[SPEAKER_01]: I'm like, are you kidding me?
- 24:48[SPEAKER_05]: It makes no sense whatsoever, just even to what you're saying right now.
- 24:51[SPEAKER_05]: First, you got to get a literary agent.
- 24:53[SPEAKER_05]: Right.
- 24:53[SPEAKER_05]: So that's the person.
- 24:55[SPEAKER_05]: Right.
- 24:55[SPEAKER_05]: And then you got to get a book published.
- 24:57[SPEAKER_05]: You're like, that can take some time.
- 24:59[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
- 24:59[SPEAKER_05]: And then once they agree and give you a deal, it could take 12 to 18 to 12, 18 to 24 months.
- 25:05[SPEAKER_05]: before they even bring you on, you have no control whatsoever, and that time frame, you could have been in published five, six, seven, eight, nine, ten.
- 25:12[SPEAKER_05]: And really build up your credibility at that time, so I always say, why don't you build it independently yourself first, and you can leverage that, because if you can prove that you can sell 10,000 copies of the book, then you can go get that deal.
- 25:25[SPEAKER_05]: Now you got more leverage versus, and you're showing that like you got a social media presence, you got to email presence.
- 25:31[SPEAKER_05]: It's just more leverage for you and it's better business for you to
- 25:33[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, and I love that though, too, because I think, again, music business, right, people forget that if you go to independent route, you have more levers like it, like I'm music, right?
- 25:43[SPEAKER_04]: If I go to a record label and I say, hey, hey, hey, I can wrap like a wrap like a sing.
- 25:48[SPEAKER_04]: Hey, look at me, he'll be looking at me.
- 25:50[SPEAKER_04]: They could, they could, they could buy my product, they could not, pantsetsetsetsetsetsetsetsetsetsetsetsetsetsetsetsetsetsetsetsetsetsetsetsetsetsetsetsetsetsetsetsetsetsetsetsetsetsetsetsetsetsetsetsetsetsetsetsetsetsetsetsetsetsetsetsetsetsetsetsetsetsetsetsetsetsetsetsetsetsetsetsetsetsetsetsetsetsetsetsetsetsetsetsetsetsetsetsetsetsetsetsetsetsetsetsetsetsetsetsetsetsetsetsetsetsetsetsetsetsetsetsetsetsetsetsetsetsetsetsetsetsetsetsetsetsetsetsetsetsetsetsetsetsetsetsetsetsetsetsetsetsetsetsetsetsetsetsetsetsetsetsetsetsetsetsetsetsetsetsetsetsetsetsetsetsetsetsetsetsetsetsetsetsetsetsetsetsetsetsetsetsetsetsetsetsetsetsetsets
- 26:11[SPEAKER_04]: what we're doing, now I got more leverage, now I can, you know, negotiate better and then now I have a better, better turn.
- 26:19[SPEAKER_04]: I know, you know, you know, get like you are the, you know, six Emmy Awards, you are really like a master of helping people craft this story.
- 26:30[SPEAKER_04]: Talk a little bit about in the income, you know, off the income summit, what are some of the things that they're going to learn?
- 26:37[SPEAKER_05]: One of the biggest things is that your transparency will lead to people's transformation.
- 26:42[SPEAKER_05]: And so the more transparent that you are, which is story, it's going to transform more lives.
- 26:47[SPEAKER_05]: One of the things that which is story, you have to stop thinking about yourself.
- 26:50[SPEAKER_05]: Right.
- 26:50[SPEAKER_05]: You really have to truly become selfless.
- 26:53[SPEAKER_05]: If you're going to step into the
- 26:54[SPEAKER_05]: space of becoming an author, you are the authoritarian, you are the expert, and you have a responsibility to share your story.
- 27:02[SPEAKER_05]: And so we're going to break that down, give them the necessary framework of what that looks like to tell your story.
- 27:08[SPEAKER_05]: Because a lot of times, I do, I kind of coach it in two different ways.
- 27:12[SPEAKER_05]: Sometimes I'm like, I just want you to just tell me what it is.
- 27:15[SPEAKER_05]: Other times, I'll critique and add more framing in context to it.
- 27:19[SPEAKER_05]: So an author income summit like we're going to give them things that like we teach that we that we charge you know $60,000 before we're giving it away to you for free was not free, but you get what I'm saying.
- 27:31[SPEAKER_05]: But they're going to learn the true essence and the framing of how to really package up your story because this is a trifecta, this is called the triple threat, right?
- 27:40[SPEAKER_05]: This is the triple threat like not only is this story telling he's business, she's everything like
- 27:48[SPEAKER_05]: But I'm really going to show you how to dial into your store, your mess, turn it into your message, turn your pain into purpose with some real framing and context of what that looks like.
- 27:58[SPEAKER_05]: So you can really keep those pages being turned.
- 28:00[SPEAKER_05]: And one of the things that I learned in Hollywood more than anything.
- 28:04[SPEAKER_05]: just be honest and run from the truth.
- 28:08[SPEAKER_01]: Can I even add something in and why I'm so excited about what you're going to be doing?
- 28:13[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, no, I got percentage.
- 28:15[SPEAKER_01]: So about 70% of most of the people who buy a book, they won't even read a pass after one.
- 28:22[SPEAKER_01]: And the people were like, now I like to read.
- 28:24[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, how many I read at Michelle Obama books?
- 28:26[SPEAKER_02]: Or is it a nice place back?
- 28:28[SPEAKER_01]: It was a nice place.
- 28:29[SPEAKER_01]: I'm not even because that was what the top grossing self-help books of all time.
- 28:34[SPEAKER_01]: And everybody went and they'll get her book.
- 28:36[SPEAKER_01]: But most people ain't even cracked it open.
- 28:37[SPEAKER_01]: And I'm not saying that it's not a good story.
- 28:40[SPEAKER_01]: It's her story.
- 28:41[SPEAKER_01]: But the goal here is we want people to be turning them page.
- 28:45[SPEAKER_01]: And so it's all in how you prep that set up with the storytelling and the title and all of that is so important.
- 28:51[SPEAKER_01]: And so
- 28:51[SPEAKER_01]: I think it's important for people to understand that like we write and I mean I've seen examples of some books where we really need to make sure we plan in those things out But the goal is to get them to turn in those pages and knowing that there is a what's next.
- 29:05[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, can I add something real quick?
- 29:06[SPEAKER_05]: I appreciate you just put out a live book for me.
- 29:10[SPEAKER_05]: One of the things that I always think about is your book is like a show or a movie, right?
- 29:15[SPEAKER_05]: And if you ever notice sometimes in shows and movies, the opening scene is something to give you a visual of what is going to look like.
- 29:24[SPEAKER_05]: It could be something very like catastrophic that happened, but they real you in enough.
- 29:29[SPEAKER_05]: And so if you think about social media in the first three seconds, the first ten seconds, like the first three pages, the first five pages, it's imperative that you really bring them in and like get them like to keep going, right?
- 29:43[SPEAKER_05]: And so from my producing and storytelling experience, one of the things I've learned and what I do with my books, I just signed a client last week who she released a book four or five years ago, it really didn't do well.
- 29:53[SPEAKER_05]: And she has a story where she was
- 29:58[SPEAKER_05]: a man did something to her that he had no business doing.
- 30:00[SPEAKER_05]: I'll just say that.
- 30:01[SPEAKER_05]: I don't say the term.
- 30:02[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
- 30:03[SPEAKER_05]: And so she stepped it into that, into this lane,
- 30:09[SPEAKER_05]: and it's like buried in chapter 11.
- 30:12[SPEAKER_05]: And I'm like, if you're going to do this, we got to start in a way to really bring people in and like really drive this point home, contextually of what you've learned from it, but we got to go there.
- 30:27[SPEAKER_05]: And so when I think about stuff of storytelling,
- 30:31[SPEAKER_05]: And especially in today's social media age, you got to get people quick.
- 30:34[SPEAKER_05]: You got to bring them in fact.
- 30:35[SPEAKER_05]: So we won't really teach you how to go about doing it.
- 30:38[SPEAKER_04]: It's funny that you say that because I learned that value will lessen podcasts actually.
- 30:43[SPEAKER_04]: Like I remember when I first started podcasting,
- 30:46[SPEAKER_04]: My goal for every guest was to take them through a journey like when did you start the middle and then give you the end I was looking at my analytics one day and I realized that most people didn't get to the end Right people would would drop off and so immediately I talked to the team and we was like I let's figure this thing out
- 31:05[SPEAKER_04]: And so we always started with the NMI.
- 31:07[SPEAKER_04]: We always started with the highlight, right?
- 31:09[SPEAKER_04]: Just like the movies, right?
- 31:11[SPEAKER_04]: You start with the highlight.
- 31:12[SPEAKER_04]: We let you know, here's the highlight.
- 31:14[SPEAKER_04]: Here's the thing, right?
- 31:15[SPEAKER_04]: And then we get you excited and want to know.
- 31:17[SPEAKER_04]: And then we, like, I hope before we get there, but wait, right?
- 31:20[SPEAKER_04]: The news doesn't, right?
- 31:21[SPEAKER_04]: The news will always tell you, man, this, the right, a teaser.
- 31:25[SPEAKER_04]: Oh, this, this, this tribal trash happened.
- 31:27[SPEAKER_04]: This child will think it's a terrible thing, this child will think.
- 31:29[SPEAKER_04]: But wait, before,
- 31:30[SPEAKER_04]: Let's go to the school.
- 31:31[SPEAKER_04]: Let's go to the school.
- 31:31[SPEAKER_03]: Let's go to the school.
- 31:32[SPEAKER_03]: Let's go to the school.
- 31:33[SPEAKER_04]: Let's go to the school.
- 31:34[SPEAKER_00]: Let's go to the school.
- 31:34[SPEAKER_04]: Let's go to the school.
- 31:35[SPEAKER_04]: Let's go to the school.
- 31:36[SPEAKER_04]: Let's go to the school.
- 31:37[SPEAKER_04]: Let's go to the school.
- 31:37[SPEAKER_04]: Let's go to the school.
- 31:38[SPEAKER_04]: Let's go to the school.
- 31:40[SPEAKER_04]: Let's go to the school.
- 31:40[SPEAKER_04]: Let's go to the school.
- 31:41[SPEAKER_04]: Let's go to the school.
- 31:42[SPEAKER_04]: Let's go to the school.
- 31:43[SPEAKER_05]: Let's go to the school.
- 31:45[SPEAKER_05]: Let's go to the school.
- 31:45[SPEAKER_05]: Let's go to the school.
- 31:46[SPEAKER_05]: Let's go to the school.
- 31:47[SPEAKER_05]: Let's go to the school.
- 31:47[SPEAKER_01]: Let's go to the school.
- 31:48[SPEAKER_05]: Let's go to the school.
- 31:48[SPEAKER_05]: Let's go to the school.
- 31:49[SPEAKER_01]: But yeah, you know, a lot of times I'm always sharing with certain people, especially people of influence, like pre-sell your book get it out there And a lot of people like, I don't really care, you know, I know you'll have clients too, because I've done with big money clients It's like, I'm good.
- 32:02[SPEAKER_01]: I don't need to make no money out front.
- 32:03[SPEAKER_01]: I just want to get it out there But what we have to understand is that the pre-sell is not only just about raising cash, which we're gonna be talking about that in the summit how to get up to 5,000 But also getting ambassadors
- 32:14[SPEAKER_01]: And so I have always, I've always believed that the best, the best form of marketing, or one of the best form of marketing, is getting other people to talk about you.
- 32:23[SPEAKER_03]: And you talk about, that's good, that's good.
- 32:25[SPEAKER_01]: You know, when you go to a movie, they got the camera, you know, like a premiere, they got the camera people right outside the movie, like, well, what you think, that should be the same thing.
- 32:32[SPEAKER_01]: And getting people to pre-order your book and celebrating those people is a way to get other people excited.
- 32:39[SPEAKER_01]: And so we're going to talk about some of those techniques.
- 32:41[SPEAKER_01]: where we've actually shown, listen, I'm just going to let y'all know, if you do want to work with any one of us individually or even together, not together, any one of you should show you, right?
- 32:52[SPEAKER_01]: We should show you, what is this, what's this, what's this, somebody, somebody talk about, Lisa, can I just get you on the phone?
- 32:59[SPEAKER_01]: So that was about, let's just talk about the phone.
- 33:01[SPEAKER_05]: One thing I want to say, I want to add to that, early we were talking about traditional publishing.
- 33:06[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
- 33:06[SPEAKER_05]: And one thing I really want to lean into and harp on is that,
- 33:09[SPEAKER_05]: That pre-sale phase is so eating as much revenue as you can, knowing what the splits are going to be with Amazon on the 642, right?
- 33:18[SPEAKER_05]: But also just being able to collect and get those email addresses, those names, and you get the contacts.
- 33:23[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
- 33:23[SPEAKER_05]: I don't even like, and I don't know how you all do, and I think this is great for us to talk about it.
- 33:28[SPEAKER_05]: But even with going to the Ingram Sparks route, like the buybacks and the returns and all that stuff that happened,
- 34:01[SPEAKER_05]: So they're going to allow you to order off the copies now or some of the tricks and things that you can do, like just a great platform to really do it, but pre-selling your book.
- 34:14[SPEAKER_01]: It's essential for many reasons, even leading into where you are going to help because think about it like this.
- 34:22[SPEAKER_01]: I had a client, she pre-sold about, I want to say about almost 700 to 800 copies.
- 34:28[SPEAKER_01]: if 10% of them became one of her higher tier slides.
- 34:32[SPEAKER_01]: She wouldn't even have to do that now.
- 34:34[SPEAKER_01]: She thought she was a girl.
- 34:35[SPEAKER_01]: Why don't you have other programs to practice?
- 34:38[SPEAKER_01]: So that's why I'm excited too, because I don't have to be on that space.
- 34:41[SPEAKER_01]: That's where you're gonna help.
- 34:42[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 34:43[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 34:43[SPEAKER_04]: And you know, you know, the funny thing about it, and I'm glad that you, you know, I mean, you, Ali, that, right?
- 34:48[SPEAKER_04]: The funny thing about it is that
- 34:51[SPEAKER_04]: It's easy, and I'm gonna just say six figures, but I'll just like, it's easy to make six figures as an author, for sure.
- 34:59[SPEAKER_04]: It's easy to make a million dollars as an author, for sure.
- 35:01[SPEAKER_04]: As long as you understand your value and what you offer, as long as you understand that, and you're confident about that offer, you could make six figures to a million dollars and it's very, really, really easy, right?
- 35:15[SPEAKER_04]: So I'll just like give you a simple math to anybody.
- 35:19[SPEAKER_04]: If let's just say that through your story, do your pain, through what you've been through, you've figured out a solution to this, right?
- 35:30[SPEAKER_04]: And you systemize the solution, you create a program, whether it's a mastermind, whether it's on 101, you created the solution that you can sell.
- 35:40[SPEAKER_04]: Let's just say for $10,000, right?
- 35:42[SPEAKER_01]: Absolutely.
- 35:42[SPEAKER_04]: Well, the truth of the matter is that all you have to do
- 35:50[SPEAKER_04]: 100 people that could, you could sell this thing for $10,000, and you made $1,000,000.
- 35:58[SPEAKER_04]: All you have to do is find 10 people, right?
- 36:03[SPEAKER_04]: to give this solution to, and now you've made $100,000.
- 36:07[SPEAKER_04]: And I'm simplifying it in that way, because I need you to understand that what I'm gonna teach you is how do you start with the end of mind, right?
- 36:17[SPEAKER_04]: Not start with, because most authors do this.
- 36:20[SPEAKER_04]: They say, well, I'm gonna start with this book, and then I'm gonna sell the book first, and then especially when I get to a certain level with this book, that's not all for the high ticket program, right?
- 36:33[SPEAKER_04]: The truth of the matter is that you can never increase your value, right?
- 36:39[SPEAKER_04]: Because if you come out as a premium brand, then people will always respect you as a premium brand.
- 36:46[SPEAKER_04]: If you come out as a economical brand, it is going to be very, very difficult for you to raise your price.
- 36:52[SPEAKER_04]: I give you a product example, right?
- 36:54[SPEAKER_04]: So a lot of people don't know, well, the car here,
- 36:57[SPEAKER_04]: Um, external, or as a economical brand, absolutely right, they were selling Kia's for like $20,000, $30,000 and people were like, oh my god, this is also, and they, they will buy these cars.
- 37:09[SPEAKER_04]: Well, Kia realized that that's not a sustainable model.
- 37:13[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 37:13[SPEAKER_04]: And so they wanted to get into the luxury, right?
- 37:15[SPEAKER_04]: They wanted to get into the premium car business.
- 37:18[SPEAKER_04]: And so they, they put out a $100,000 Kia.
- 37:22[SPEAKER_04]: no one bought it, right?
- 37:24[SPEAKER_04]: Because Kia was already associated with being an economical brand.
- 37:29[SPEAKER_04]: So imagine me paying a hundred thousand bucks for a Kia when that's already a brand.
- 37:34[SPEAKER_04]: That's the normal.
- 37:36[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 37:36[SPEAKER_04]: Now I'll give you on the flip side.
- 37:38[SPEAKER_04]: I'll be going to know.
- 37:39[SPEAKER_04]: That Tesla actually started as a premium brilliant dude.
- 37:43[SPEAKER_04]: You couldn't get a Tesla for less than a hundred K when it first came on, right?
- 37:47[SPEAKER_04]: And so people were waiting in line for Tesla's.
- 37:49[SPEAKER_04]: It was always only a prestigious type of car that only people would money had.
- 37:55[SPEAKER_04]: So guess what?
- 37:56[SPEAKER_04]: When Tesla wanted to start selling the economy cars and they lowered the price to 40,000, people ate those up.
- 38:04[SPEAKER_04]: Why?
- 38:05[SPEAKER_04]: Because if you start at premium, and now when you lower your prices and discount people will rock with you, same thing with authors, like you all gotta get through your heads that if you are an expert, like you say you're an expert, then why can't you,
- 38:19[SPEAKER_04]: offer a product of service at $10,000.
- 38:23[SPEAKER_04]: The truth of the matter, and this is what I believe, if you don't believe that your solution can help somebody make $10,000 or more, you should not be writing a book.
- 38:32[SPEAKER_01]: That is good.
- 38:33[SPEAKER_04]: You should not be writing a book.
- 38:35[SPEAKER_04]: You, you, my friend, are a fraud, because your story is not really helping nobody for room.
- 38:42[SPEAKER_04]: You know what I'm saying?
- 38:43[SPEAKER_04]: No, you're breaking me.
- 38:43[SPEAKER_04]: If your solution isn't really not going to be a nobody, why are you writing a book to help you or somebody to read your book and they're not going to get nothing out of it?
- 38:52[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
- 38:53[SPEAKER_04]: You want to invest their time into reading about your story and your story is not going to help them.
- 38:58[SPEAKER_04]: No.
- 38:59[SPEAKER_04]: And so the first thing you need to do is figure out how care about your story.
- 39:05[SPEAKER_04]: Don't tell me about your story.
- 39:06[SPEAKER_04]: How can your story help?
- 39:08[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 39:09[SPEAKER_04]: Which is why that's a selfless aspect.
- 39:11[SPEAKER_01]: And that's our purpose here in this world.
- 39:12[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, honestly, we wake up every day and not for us, both for the person that we're, that's what I believe, who we're supposed to help.
- 39:17[SPEAKER_05]: 100% and I mean, what does it say?
- 39:19[SPEAKER_05]: I told my story and made history.
- 39:22[SPEAKER_05]: It's exactly, yeah, it's true for me.
- 39:23[SPEAKER_05]: And I don't say this a lot, but the truth of the matter is, I told my story, I don't even know if I ever told you all this.
- 39:30[SPEAKER_05]: I don't have a website.
- 39:32[SPEAKER_01]: Hmm.
- 39:32[SPEAKER_01]: Wow.
- 39:32[SPEAKER_01]: That's, that's, that's T don't real quick.
- 39:34[SPEAKER_01]: I've never had it.
- 39:35[SPEAKER_01]: Everybody's taking a look at us on these certain things.
- 39:38[SPEAKER_05]: But I'm a seven figure coach.
- 39:40[SPEAKER_01]: Like, yeah.
- 39:41[SPEAKER_05]: Never had a website.
- 39:42[SPEAKER_05]: I had my word.
- 39:43[SPEAKER_05]: Hmm.
- 39:44[SPEAKER_05]: I had a process.
- 39:46[SPEAKER_05]: and everything for me has been word amount and referral.
- 39:49[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, please start it with me sharing my story.
- 39:52[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
- 39:52[SPEAKER_05]: So a lot of people don't know who they are.
- 39:55[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
- 39:55[SPEAKER_05]: They don't know why they're here and what they're meant to do.
- 39:58[SPEAKER_05]: So we like tell people like you got to share your story, share your story, but there's some mindset stuff that you have to really dig into to help them get to that point to see why.
- 40:06[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 40:07[SPEAKER_05]: Because a lot of times, people just don't know why.
- 40:09[SPEAKER_05]: They don't know where to start.
- 40:10[SPEAKER_05]: They don't have the clarity.
- 40:11[SPEAKER_05]: They have all these distractions in the world.
- 40:13[SPEAKER_05]: They think they're too old.
- 40:14[SPEAKER_05]: They got every excuse in the world.
- 40:16[SPEAKER_05]: And we know that excuses are tools of the incompetent that bill, my amiss, and nothing this knows.
- 40:20[SPEAKER_05]: Those that use them, still don't really do accomplish anything.
- 40:23[SPEAKER_05]: Right?
- 40:23[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 40:24[SPEAKER_05]: So.
- 40:25[SPEAKER_05]: we help you with that and so we we're going to give you the game like coming to this author income summit it ain't just coming out here just for shits and giggles right and you know it's really about is really about tapping into and understanding like you got three giants that are partnering up yeah and we're going to give you a $20 million or sure electric cash for ourselves and our clients like we've helped people make money and
- 40:55[SPEAKER_04]: because it's about income, right?
- 40:58[SPEAKER_04]: Like no longer, like, we're not the same, right?
- 41:04[SPEAKER_04]: Meaning like, I see authors of be like, oh yeah, you're author, yeah, I'm an author too, I cool.
- 41:09[SPEAKER_04]: But I like to say like, I am a best selling author because I sell books, right?
- 41:16[SPEAKER_04]: And I sell products, and I make, you know what I'm saying?
- 41:18[SPEAKER_04]: And so that's what we want to teach you.
- 41:19[SPEAKER_04]: And this is not like, I'm not going to say what you do too.
- 41:22[SPEAKER_04]: I'm not going to say them authors,
- 41:25[SPEAKER_04]: We gotta get out of the mindset of just doing the thing is okay.
- 41:33[SPEAKER_04]: For the title, whatever.
- 41:34[SPEAKER_04]: Yes.
- 41:35[SPEAKER_04]: Yes.
- 41:36[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 41:36[SPEAKER_04]: Because a lot of times we do it for the title, right?
- 41:39[SPEAKER_04]: We do it for the grand.
- 41:40[SPEAKER_04]: So we can put it in the bio.
- 41:42[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 41:42[SPEAKER_04]: And again, it's like, you know, again, it's, you know, we all do.
- 41:46[SPEAKER_04]: We take our job serious, right?
- 41:49[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 41:49[SPEAKER_04]: Meaning that.
- 41:51[SPEAKER_04]: Again, I'm not, nothing I do is for tighter.
- 41:54[SPEAKER_04]: Like everything I do, I want to reach the people.
- 41:58[SPEAKER_04]: And so even when I do a podcast or I do whatever, it's like, I don't call myself a podcast.
- 42:04[SPEAKER_04]: I want to make sure that people watch this.
- 42:07[SPEAKER_01]: Right.
- 42:07[SPEAKER_04]: And so if you're going to write the book, and you're going to invest your time, right?
- 42:10[SPEAKER_04]: It's something that you're never going to get back either.
- 42:12[SPEAKER_01]: Facts.
- 42:13[SPEAKER_01]: I was going to say, yeah.
- 42:14[SPEAKER_01]: I was saying, time is more valuable than money.
- 42:16[SPEAKER_01]: And we wasted every single day.
- 42:18[SPEAKER_02]: Every single day, yeah.
- 42:18[SPEAKER_01]: Every single, well,
- 42:20[SPEAKER_01]: Many ways to get it back.
- 42:25[SPEAKER_01]: It's a wise thing all this time doing something where you can't even put a value on that and then I'll let me though this I'm going to get along with some you're ready So you know back in the day before they ever have money right if somebody let's say I got some rice and you got some grain and you got some milk and I need some grain and some milk what I'm going to give you all for that
- 42:50[SPEAKER_01]: And I mean, human being said, you know what, let's make these gold coins into money and so instead of us exchanging value for value, we're just going to exchange this money for this grain, this rice, this milk.
- 43:03[SPEAKER_01]: And so now we start putting a value on this money, right?
- 43:07[SPEAKER_01]: God though is the one who created the value of exchange, that's how I believe.
- 43:11[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 43:11[SPEAKER_01]: And so eventually now we got paper money, we got credit card, and then we've gone through these life's experiences.
- 43:17[SPEAKER_01]: And so now what people have done is taking their life experiences, which to me, you cannot put a price on and we put way more value on money when honestly the truth should be this and this is why I always tell people and today I have someone today I did a call with he talk about well, you know, I don't really want to make a you know, it's not about the money for me.
- 43:34[SPEAKER_01]: I just want to impact lives.
- 43:35[SPEAKER_01]: I said let me tell you something that what you just did.
- 43:37[SPEAKER_01]: It's you can't sit out all opportunity to change lives because it costs money to do all of that and I need everybody That's watching to just put this in the chat.
- 43:47[SPEAKER_01]: It's just money You cannot exchange the value that you're gonna receive because again that was made by man the value was given to us
- 43:57[SPEAKER_05]: And the very reframe is that the more money you make, the more people you can help.
- 44:02[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, that's one of the cringe worthy things.
- 44:07[SPEAKER_04]: I hate that all the time.
- 44:08[SPEAKER_04]: Like, oh, I'm not really worried about the but it was impact lives.
- 44:10[SPEAKER_04]: Like, how can you impact lives?
- 44:12[SPEAKER_04]: It is not free.
- 44:13[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, like, I don't understand that.
- 44:15[SPEAKER_05]: Like, you really are the king struggle.
- 44:17[SPEAKER_05]: Right.
- 44:17[SPEAKER_05]: And I'm saying, he needed money.
- 44:19[SPEAKER_05]: Right.
- 44:19[SPEAKER_01]: That was it.
- 44:20[SPEAKER_05]: It is message out.
- 44:23[SPEAKER_05]: It is message out.
- 44:25[SPEAKER_05]: It is not money.
- 44:27[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
- 44:28[SPEAKER_05]: Did you try to run away from like book coaching like it was kind of like oh this ain't really it ain't really sex I mean, we do so much like I do this I do that like when did you too like really know that this is what you were supposed to be doing Yeah, like I mean for me
- 44:47[SPEAKER_04]: I'll be honest, I'm wondering for a minute, I'm really, I'm really, I'm so, I'm so, I'm so, I'm so, I'm so, I'm so, I'm so, I'm so, I'm so, I'm so, I'm so, I'm so, I'm so, I'm so, I'm so, I'm so, I'm so, I'm so, I'm so, I'm so, I'm so, I'm so, I'm so, I'm so, I'm so, I'm so, I'm so, I'm so, I'm so, I'm so, I'm so, I'm so, I'm so, I'm so, I'm so, I'm so, I'm so, I'm so, I'm so, I'm so, I'm so, I'm so, I'm so, I'm so, I'm so, I'm so, I'm so, I'm so, I'm so, I'm so, I'm so
- 45:07[SPEAKER_04]: And I'll be honest with you, I enjoy it.
- 45:11[SPEAKER_04]: Like I love speaking, like that's like I love to be on stage.
- 45:16[SPEAKER_04]: I love to, I love the audience.
- 45:18[SPEAKER_04]: I love teaching, I love interaction and things in that nature.
- 45:21[SPEAKER_04]: And so I like to be a leader.
- 45:25[SPEAKER_04]: And so I like to lead the masses, if you will, which is why I do podcast, I do, you know, I just speak into things in that nature.
- 45:31[SPEAKER_04]: When God tapped me, because it was a trap.
- 45:33[SPEAKER_04]: By the way, God tapped me and said, I'll I need you to lead the leaders now.
- 45:38[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, that's good.
- 45:39[SPEAKER_04]: Right, I didn't, I did a kick in the streaming because I figured like, hey, if I'm gonna leave the leaders to have them go on stage and what's it gonna leave me?
- 45:51[SPEAKER_04]: Like, yeah, I need the go on stage too.
- 45:53[SPEAKER_04]: Like running a business, a speaking business, selling bolts, doing, you know, all that stuff, like it's a, it's a time, you know?
- 46:02[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 46:03[SPEAKER_04]: And so I did it begrudgingly and,
- 46:07[SPEAKER_04]: But I noticed this is what I had to do, you know what I'm saying?
- 46:09[SPEAKER_04]: And so yeah, so I don't necessarily think that I ever, you know, was okay, well, like, hey, you got a coach, but I do know that I have enough information, right?
- 46:22[SPEAKER_04]: What I want for myself, I want for my brother and sister.
- 46:25[SPEAKER_04]: And I knew that a lot of people, you know what, what's the, what's the, what's the scripture?
- 46:31[SPEAKER_04]: They, they, they parents because of lack of knowledge.
- 46:33[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 46:33[SPEAKER_04]: And so as so for me, it's almost like,
- 46:37[SPEAKER_04]: You can't be a contradiction, I ask.
- 46:39[SPEAKER_04]: You can't walk for yourself, but you walk for others, right?
- 46:42[SPEAKER_04]: You can't walk for yourself, but you walk for your brothers and sisters.
- 46:45[SPEAKER_04]: And you have knowledge that has freed you and your family.
- 46:48[SPEAKER_04]: You're not sharing that knowledge with other people who have the similar skill that can free their family.
- 46:54[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 46:55[SPEAKER_04]: And so for me, I've just chosen the end, right?
- 46:59[SPEAKER_04]: But this is my birth price.
- 47:00[SPEAKER_04]: So end is better than an hour.
- 47:02[SPEAKER_04]: And so,
- 47:02[SPEAKER_04]: I'm not one of the coaches that I'm still on the, I'm still on the stage of stalker.
- 47:06[SPEAKER_04]: I'm still selling books.
- 47:08[SPEAKER_04]: I'm still, I'm actually doing what I'm teaching you.
- 47:11[SPEAKER_04]: Well, I'm also now teaching, I know at some point, and I mean, maybe we could talk about this, but at some point, I got to do the interview on inside the vault, and I was talking to a young lady, and she was like, she's franchising her business.
- 47:26[SPEAKER_04]: And I said franchise in the business.
- 47:28[SPEAKER_02]: I said, hold on, hold on.
- 47:29[SPEAKER_04]: And what do you think about us?
- 47:30[SPEAKER_04]: I said, yo, what if, I mean, you're here in this exclusive, but I say, what if after the income sum, and maybe maybe we go off in this, I don't know.
- 47:38[SPEAKER_04]: I mean, I dropped the y'all about this yet.
- 47:39[SPEAKER_01]: It's a lot of problems.
- 47:40[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 47:41[SPEAKER_04]: I just, I just, I just, I just, I just, yeah, yeah, yeah, so, so, so, so, so, yeah.
- 47:45[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, it's just, but, but, but, but, what is how we work y'all, okay?
- 47:49[SPEAKER_04]: What if we franchise our book culture program?
- 47:51[SPEAKER_04]: Right, meaning, so originally the author, I mean, still gonna be the author income summit was about us teaching them how to, you know, write a book, you know, make a six figure income from it, you're, look, you're a seven figure book coach without
- 48:08[SPEAKER_04]: a website.
- 48:09[SPEAKER_04]: You're a seven figure book coach.
- 48:11[SPEAKER_04]: I was seven for the book.
- 48:12[SPEAKER_04]: Right.
- 48:13[SPEAKER_04]: Imagine if we just took our process.
- 48:15[SPEAKER_01]: Absolutely.
- 48:16[SPEAKER_04]: And now, and, and I'm thinking, I'm like, I got that ADHD.
- 48:19[SPEAKER_04]: So I'm thinking about this on the spot.
- 48:20[SPEAKER_04]: So that's cool.
- 48:21[SPEAKER_04]: And you did network marketing before.
- 48:23[SPEAKER_04]: So you understand how to build teams and things in that nature.
- 48:26[SPEAKER_04]: Imagine if we build a structure in which we have.
- 48:29[SPEAKER_04]: You've heard of your first hour, hour program, hour book coaching program.
- 48:34[UNKNOWN]: Uh-huh.
- 48:34[SPEAKER_04]: And we franchise it.
- 48:36[SPEAKER_04]: We'll give you the framework.
- 48:37[SPEAKER_04]: We'll tell you how to bring it like we'll give you the whole framework.
- 48:40[SPEAKER_04]: And we'll actually teach you how to get your own high ticket clients to teach them.
- 48:44[SPEAKER_01]: I like you.
- 48:46[SPEAKER_01]: Thank you.
- 48:46[SPEAKER_01]: It's because there's so many people that want to get into this space trying to be successful in this space.
- 48:52[SPEAKER_01]: I definitely believe that it's a way to go.
- 48:54[SPEAKER_01]: Yep, for it's coming out.
- 48:55[SPEAKER_05]: We got something intellectual for sure.
- 48:57[SPEAKER_05]: I think, as I think about, I'm in a space and I told you all this, like, I want to sell.
- 49:01[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
- 49:01[SPEAKER_05]: So we can come together and create something to have, like, some IP here, based on the things that we're building that you all are going to get and become a community.
- 49:09[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, that's what I'm talking about.
- 49:10[SPEAKER_05]: I do have a question, like, you all see because you see so many people now.
- 49:15[SPEAKER_05]: popping up being book coaches.
- 49:17[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, and here we are.
- 49:18[SPEAKER_05]: We've been in the game 20 years doing this.
- 49:20[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, what do you all think for the audience that come into the author income sum of that they're going to get?
- 49:25[SPEAKER_05]: Mmm, that's different.
- 49:26[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 49:27[SPEAKER_05]: Versus the just regular book coach out here.
- 49:29[SPEAKER_05]: No, not to anybody that.
- 49:30[SPEAKER_01]: No, no, not just good.
- 49:31[SPEAKER_01]: Because we even want you all book coaches going to.
- 49:33[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, we've actually not only like you were saying, not only have we done it ourselves.
- 49:38[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 49:39[SPEAKER_01]: All of us have been on the stage and not just sold books, but made.
- 49:41[SPEAKER_01]: six figure days in selling products like that's that's easy peasy.
- 49:45[SPEAKER_01]: And so not only are we doing it ourselves, but we've actually successfully helped other people to do it.
- 49:51[SPEAKER_01]: And I think that's important because it is a difference between being able to sell a package and then deliver it.
- 49:57[SPEAKER_01]: And I find that many people do get into this coaching world and they're great at selling on the stage.
- 50:02[SPEAKER_01]: Amazing, but then when it's time to deliver those things, it's a big, it's a bit of a challenge.
- 50:07[SPEAKER_01]: And I'm going to be honest, it's not easy to deliver quality content where you know that at least 20% the 20 that are going to do it are going to walk away with tangible results.
- 50:18[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I agree.
- 50:18[SPEAKER_01]: And so I think that's really, I'm not saying I know that's what separates us.
- 50:22[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 50:23[SPEAKER_01]: We have not only just because a lot of coaches will say, well, I wrote a book, now I'm going to coach other people.
- 50:27[SPEAKER_01]: Right.
- 50:28[SPEAKER_01]: Right.
- 50:28[SPEAKER_01]: And so I think that's really what's going to help a lot of people to see like we're not just talking from the standpoint of our own personal success.
- 50:34[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 50:35[SPEAKER_01]: But how we've helped the thousands of people that we've worked with along this journey.
- 50:38[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 50:39[SPEAKER_04]: And I was say to those book coaches that just starting out or whatever the case may be, I know your intention is where, you know, it's the right intention.
- 50:52[SPEAKER_04]: And you know, maybe like you are a book coach because you've been able to write your own book now, it's time you want to help other people write their own book.
- 51:03[SPEAKER_04]: I get that, but I really think that, you know, take a page from us, don't leave with your ego, right?
- 51:11[SPEAKER_04]: Because ego is edging God out.
- 51:14[SPEAKER_00]: Right?
- 51:14[SPEAKER_04]: God is putting in front of you, people who not just
- 51:18[SPEAKER_04]: walk the walk and talk the talk like we've like we've done it for ourselves We've done it for other people.
- 51:24[SPEAKER_04]: I always say this.
- 51:25[SPEAKER_04]: I say don't do it to you get it right Do it to you can get it wrong.
- 51:30[SPEAKER_04]: There you go, right and so a lot of coaches they start the coach
- 51:33[SPEAKER_04]: with the one time they get it right, yeah.
- 51:35[SPEAKER_04]: The shooters they get it right, it's now a code.
- 51:37[SPEAKER_01]: That's good.
- 51:38[SPEAKER_04]: Don't do it to you get it right.
- 51:39[SPEAKER_04]: Do it to you can't get it wrong, right?
- 51:41[SPEAKER_04]: Like I have six to seven best sellers why because I learnt a methodology and I've been able to to create and recreate that methodology over and over again.
- 51:53[SPEAKER_04]: I'm also done it for other people.
- 51:55[SPEAKER_04]: So I know that met my methodology works.
- 51:57[SPEAKER_04]: You've done it for 11,000 people.
- 51:59[SPEAKER_04]: You've done it for all of your, your high ticket clients.
- 52:02[SPEAKER_04]: And this is a method.
- 52:03[SPEAKER_04]: It's a science that will not miss if you follow this thing.
- 52:07[SPEAKER_04]: And so I would tell those coaches, join, right?
- 52:11[SPEAKER_04]: Join the author income, you know, you know, summit and then I mean, again, tell us that you want to like, let us know, no, no, don't try to be secret in joining and then they don't come.
- 52:22[SPEAKER_04]: Stop trying to come people to us.
- 52:23[SPEAKER_04]: Yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes.
- 52:25[SPEAKER_04]: Because the thing is is like, I never, never, ever, I never looked at any other book coach as a
- 52:32[SPEAKER_04]: Because I understand that I have a certain voice and I'm going to attract certain people who have a certain voice.
- 52:39[SPEAKER_04]: You're going to attract certain people who have a certain voice.
- 52:41[SPEAKER_04]: You're going to attract certain people.
- 52:42[SPEAKER_04]: You're going to attract certain people.
- 52:44[SPEAKER_04]: So what's for me is for me.
- 52:46[SPEAKER_04]: And so get out of the mindset of competing.
- 52:51[SPEAKER_04]: We're not in competition.
- 52:52[SPEAKER_04]: Like if you are a book coach, like even like I haven't even seen it in like my programs.
- 53:02[SPEAKER_04]: help people like I've coached people in my programs and then automatically they kind of like run and try to be good book coaches need to and I'm like your fam like you could have just You know you so first like I'm my fam first of all you know
- 53:18[SPEAKER_04]: He know me, I don't know me, I don't know me, I don't know me, I don't know me, I don't know me, I don't know me, I don't know me, I don't know me, I don't know me, I don't know me, I don't know me, I don't know me, I don't know me, I don't know me, I don't know me, I don't know me, I don't know me, I don't know me, I don't know me, I don't know me, I don't know me, I don't know me, I don't know me, I don't know me, I don't know me, I don't know me, I don't know me, I don't know me, I don't know me, I don't know me, I don't know me, I don't know me, I don't know me, I don't know me, I don't know me, I don't know me, I don't
- 53:46[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, you know, if I really want to do this business, right, right, right, right, right, right, right, right, right, right, right, right, right, right, right, right, right, right, right, right, right, right, right, right, right, right, right, right, right, right, right, right, right, right, right, right, right, right, right, right, right, right, right, right, right, right, right, right, right, right, right, right, right, right, right, right, right, right, right, right, right, right, right, right, right, right, right, right, right, right, right, right, right, right, right, right, right, right, right, right, right, right, right, right, right, right, right, right, right, right, right, right, right, right, right, right, right, right, right, right, right, right, right, right
- 54:15[SPEAKER_01]: all in the same industry, all in one room, and I'm seeing $1 million launches and businesses.
- 54:20[SPEAKER_01]: And I'm like, yo, this is something we need to do as a community, because that's all I come across is whether you're a new author or you're a book coach.
- 54:28[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, I have so many people join the book program that want to be book coaches or publishers.
- 54:34[SPEAKER_01]: And I'm just like, okay, I'm filling it excited because I think I said this in a group text.
- 54:39[SPEAKER_01]: We don't got to feel like we got to do it all day.
- 54:40[SPEAKER_04]: Right, back to the air, if you hear.
- 54:42[SPEAKER_04]: And that's why I just feel like, you know, we're at a place where there are millions of people, millions, who have stories, who should be able to find their voices.
- 54:54[SPEAKER_04]: And so join the author and come something right?
- 54:57[SPEAKER_04]: So we can help you amplify your voice because here's the other piece.
- 54:59[SPEAKER_04]: And I'll let y'all say some last words, but here's my last words, right?
- 55:04[SPEAKER_04]: Um, Sora, um, which is over AI just came out with a hat where you could deep-fake a lot of, uh, celebrities and, and dead figures and things that at nature to the point where, um,
- 55:20[SPEAKER_04]: You, there's going to be a moment where you cannot believe your eyes, 100%.
- 55:25[SPEAKER_04]: Like, they're going to be so much fake things out there that you're going to look at something and you're not going to be able to tell whether it is or false, right?
- 55:35[SPEAKER_04]: And so what they're doing with AI right now is that they're inundating AI with all of this information, all this misinformation, all this stuff.
- 55:44[SPEAKER_04]: that is is is giving you sensory overload to the point where people are going to be so turned off of a social media that what they're going to crave is real interactions.
- 55:57[SPEAKER_04]: They're going to want to say what they're going to want real stories.
- 56:00[SPEAKER_04]: This is why y'all could look at some Google Barnes and Noble's, right?
- 56:04[SPEAKER_04]: Two years ago, I think two or three years ago, Barnes and Noble was five for bankruptcy and they were closing all of these stores, right?
- 56:11[SPEAKER_04]: But with the rise of booktop, because of TikTok and booktock, they started to, the people who stopped wanting to only be on an internet and they wanted book physical books.
- 56:23[SPEAKER_01]: Yes.
- 56:24[SPEAKER_04]: The, the man for physical books increased so much that bonds and nobles.
- 56:29[SPEAKER_04]: I think last year they opened like 40 some stores.
- 56:31[SPEAKER_04]: This year they bought the open up 50 something stores because the man for books have actually increased.
- 56:37[SPEAKER_04]: And guess what?
- 56:38[SPEAKER_04]: book signings are increasing, people are going to want to fear real human beings.
- 56:43[SPEAKER_04]: And so you, that's all I'm saying, there's no competition.
- 56:45[SPEAKER_04]: There's millions of people out there that have stories that need to share their stories and you have to be a leader in your story and people are going to want to come out.
- 56:55[SPEAKER_04]: They're going to want the meetups.
- 56:56[SPEAKER_04]: They're going to want the conferences.
- 56:57[SPEAKER_04]: They're going to want to test the physical book.
- 56:59[SPEAKER_04]: They're going to want to hear your real story, our relates to them.
- 57:02[SPEAKER_04]: And so listen, y'all.
- 57:03[SPEAKER_04]: Join the author income summit first of foremost all you got to do is invest your time.
- 57:10[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah
- 57:10[SPEAKER_04]: Right, you got three juggernautonist business who are giving you information.
- 57:15[SPEAKER_04]: I know you already got information from this, from what we just told you just now.
- 57:19[SPEAKER_04]: But you got three people who have done this, who have done the work, who are going to invest their time to teach you.
- 57:25[SPEAKER_04]: So, come to the author and come summon.
- 57:27[SPEAKER_01]: Absolutely.
- 57:28[SPEAKER_01]: I want to say that I believe that every single thing that has ever happened to you, there is a purpose in a reason for it.
- 57:34[SPEAKER_01]: And every single day that we wake up, the God gives us another day.
- 57:38[SPEAKER_01]: A lot of times people wake up and they say, why me?
- 57:40[SPEAKER_01]: And it's really for me, for you, to help other people.
- 57:45[SPEAKER_01]: And if you do not get out there and share what you've experienced and how you were able to push through.
- 57:50[SPEAKER_01]: And it's as small as just one little thing that you've been able to push through.
- 57:53[SPEAKER_01]: I feel like it's very selfish.
- 57:55[SPEAKER_01]: You cannot wake up every single day and say that you want to change people's lives and impact people's lives in your procrastinating on the book.
- 58:02[SPEAKER_01]: you're procrastinating on getting on the podcast, you're procrastinating on speaking on the stages.
- 58:07[SPEAKER_01]: Well, I just don't know how to do it.
- 58:09[SPEAKER_01]: Well, we're creating a solution, and the solution is to show up.
- 58:13[SPEAKER_01]: The worst thing you could do, y'all, is if you're agreeing in anything we said is to miss the author and come sum it.
- 58:20[SPEAKER_01]: And so that's what I'm gonna say.
- 58:22[SPEAKER_01]: I think it is very selfish, I don't know that sounds harsh, that we keep what we've been through to ourselves because it's not for us.
- 58:29[SPEAKER_05]: Absolutely.
- 58:30[SPEAKER_05]: And I think we all have something to offer.
- 58:32[SPEAKER_05]: That's why we're coming together.
- 58:33[SPEAKER_05]: Like, listen, you may not like exactly everything that I had to say, but you may like what he has to say, you may like what she has to say, but we're here for everybody.
- 58:41[SPEAKER_05]: We have some knowledge in some insight and some wisdom.
- 58:44[SPEAKER_05]: I mean, you're talking, what do we say 20 years?
- 58:46[SPEAKER_05]: 20 plus years, I mean, you hear us talking about create space like that was 2008, 2009.
- 58:51[SPEAKER_05]: So really we really have been here doing it putting in the work and for us coming together.
- 58:58[SPEAKER_05]: Like why don't you come in here and find somebody that you can network.
- 59:01[SPEAKER_05]: It's looking the chat.
- 59:02[SPEAKER_05]: Find somebody you can connect and network with.
- 59:04[SPEAKER_05]: This is what it's all about.
- 59:05[SPEAKER_05]: Listen, I do about these two individuals.
- 59:07[SPEAKER_05]: You know, long before they even knew about me and I just I saw their ads.
- 59:11[SPEAKER_05]: I saw their presence and never like you said never It was never competition to me.
- 59:16[SPEAKER_05]: It was respect.
- 59:17[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, and so for me to have the level of respect for them knowing what they're doing We just at the author income summit really want to in body the true spirit of greatness and what it is that who we are and how we show up Because to finish off what she just said man faith without works is dead You can have the greatest ideas the best story in the world, but if you don't get out here and work it
- 59:37[SPEAKER_05]: And I'm a true testament to it, you know, my one book has changed my life, like one book.
- 59:43[SPEAKER_03]: One book.
- 59:44[SPEAKER_05]: One book.
- 59:44[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
- 59:45[SPEAKER_05]: Change my life.
- 59:46[SPEAKER_05]: And so I want to share that story.
- 59:48[SPEAKER_05]: I want to talk about that and bring you all in and really change and help you all facilitate and grow as best as I can.
- 59:53[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
