- 0:07[SPEAKER_00]: Second Bill Jackwars fans, welcome in to Duval.
- 0:09[SPEAKER_00]: Daily, presented by jing Jack.com.
- 0:10[SPEAKER_00]: I'm Jordan O'Luga.
- 0:11[SPEAKER_00]: Thanks so much for being here.
- 0:12[SPEAKER_00]: Monday, January 19th, some news, I mean, shoot.
- 0:16[SPEAKER_00]: There's news going all over the dammit.
- 0:19[SPEAKER_00]: I felt crazy news going on right now.
- 0:21[SPEAKER_00]: Sean McDermott fired by the bills.
- 0:23[SPEAKER_00]: They're keeping Brandon Bean as the GM.
- 0:25[SPEAKER_00]: To me, that is absolutely backwards.
- 0:29[SPEAKER_00]: Good defensive head coach.
- 0:30[SPEAKER_00]: Leeds good defensive unit.
- 0:33[SPEAKER_00]: No wide receivers, lack of talent at a lot of spots.
- 0:37[SPEAKER_00]: This is not a bill show, I'm just saying.
- 0:40[SPEAKER_00]: Okay, Jacksonville Jaguars, according to Adam Shepter, their defensive coordinator, set to interview with the Baltimore Ravens for their head coaching job.
- 0:54[SPEAKER_00]: Now, we're gonna dive into this.
- 0:57[SPEAKER_00]: My first reaction was obviously big sad,
- 1:04[SPEAKER_00]: What a fit that could be.
- 1:08[SPEAKER_00]: I know a lot of Jack's fans are gonna wanna hear that, but to me, that could be such a great fit.
- 1:12[SPEAKER_00]: I could see him really be in just like the perfect Baltimore Ravens AFC North.
- 1:22[SPEAKER_00]: He's a tough guy, he's a tough coach, but he connects with his players so well.
- 1:31[SPEAKER_00]: He teaches well.
- 1:33[SPEAKER_00]: He's a forward-thinking, progressive thinker when it comes to football scheme, man.
- 1:44[SPEAKER_00]: Again, I've talked about this for the last week or so, which, well, it's only been a week since the Jags were eliminated basically eight days, but
- 1:54[SPEAKER_00]: camp.
- 1:56[SPEAKER_00]: I think he's such a great coach.
- 1:58[SPEAKER_00]: We'll continue to talk about why all that stuff.

- 2:07[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know how it all works, but I would really appreciate all the sport we can get.
- 2:11[SPEAKER_00]: And thank you all so much.
- 2:12[SPEAKER_00]: So, Anthony Campanylee.
- 2:15[SPEAKER_00]: already interviewed with the dolphins.
- 2:17[SPEAKER_00]: And he has coached in Miami before, linebackers coach there.
- 2:21[SPEAKER_00]: So there is some level of connection within the organization with Campanilei.
- 2:30[SPEAKER_00]: Not coached in Baltimore.
- 2:31[SPEAKER_00]: He is not coached in Baltimore.
- 2:32[SPEAKER_00]: In Baltimore's search is like a sweep they're interviewing a ton of head coaching candidates.
- 2:38[SPEAKER_00]: As they should.
- 2:39[SPEAKER_00]: All right, as I showed, but now Campanile is interviewing with them later today, according to, according to Adam Shefter, and I just, I don't want to see it, but I can see it.
- 2:54[SPEAKER_00]: I can see it.
- 2:55[SPEAKER_00]: Hey, man, that Baltimore Ravens swag.
- 2:58[SPEAKER_00]: Going up and down the sideline, coaching up that defense, coaching up the entire team, bringing in an offensive mind who can get the most out of Lamar Jackson.
- 3:12[SPEAKER_00]: I could see that, and the Miami job, I mean, any head coaching job in the NFL, you could say it's like a good job, right, it's a big opportunity.
- 3:24[SPEAKER_00]: This would be a job, like if Campanile was one of these guys, kind of like Ben Johnson, who's like super discerning about what the opportunity is to be a head coach, like once it to be the right opportunity, I don't know how it gets much better than Baltimore, honestly.
- 3:42[SPEAKER_00]: So, model of consistency as an organization, elite quarterback talent.
- 3:50[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, the other Summary is they can upgrade for sure, but I feel like that organization's identity falls in line very well with what Anthony Campanila is identity is.
- 4:05[SPEAKER_00]: And that division in general, AFC North, it's tough football, Anthony Campanila is tough
- 4:13[SPEAKER_00]: But yeah, so he's interviewed with Miami.
- 4:16[SPEAKER_00]: We'll interview with the Ravens.
- 4:17[SPEAKER_00]: You also have Grant Yudinsky, who has interviewed the Jaguar's offensive coordinator with the Cleveland Browns, and everywhere I look on Twitter, Browns fans are like, camps are guy, that's who we want.
- 4:28[SPEAKER_00]: We want it, I mean, I say camp.
- 4:30[SPEAKER_00]: Yudinsky is our guy, excuse me, great Yudinsky's our guy.
- 4:35[SPEAKER_00]: And I don't want to lose either of these guys.
- 4:38[SPEAKER_00]: I do want what's best for them.
- 4:39[SPEAKER_00]: I do want them to have their opportunities, right?
- 4:43[SPEAKER_00]: But I think for the jag wars having to lose or replace either or both would be a big deal.
- 4:49[SPEAKER_00]: Now obviously replacing Campanile would be probably a bigger task than replacing Yudinsky just because Liam Cohen is the head of the offensive program.
- 5:01[SPEAKER_00]: Great Yudinsky was a critical piece to that 100% but it is.
- 5:14[SPEAKER_00]: And that would be somebody that after a place for sure.
- 5:17[SPEAKER_00]: That's some brain drain on that offensive staff.
- 5:21[SPEAKER_00]: But replacing Campanila who the entire defense is like his baby, his, that's his thing.
- 5:29[SPEAKER_00]: and it was so well coordinated and so well coach and you saw so many players playing their best football their career.
- 5:35[SPEAKER_00]: It's a complicated defense in a way because you have so many different defensive fronts you're seeing and deploying makes it difficult for the offense to adjust to that.
- 5:45[SPEAKER_00]: And then behind that, you have all sorts of cover rotations, zone defense.
- 5:50[SPEAKER_00]: So in a way, it was very difficult for offenses to game plan for
- 5:55[SPEAKER_00]: I think it was really good when Offense has had to throw the ball down the field Less so when Offense's knew they could drink and dunk on you a little bit and then just the fact that he got that run defense playing as well as they did and they had pieces to be a good run defense Make no mistake about that Devon Hamilton has always been a good run defender Josh Heinz Allen and Trevon Walker have always been really good run defenders for a and Devon like so it's not like the cover was bear and he just turned a horrible
- 6:25[SPEAKER_00]: talent wise run defense into a great run defense, but he did a damn good job.
- 6:31[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, that was the best run defense in football easily.
- 6:36[SPEAKER_00]: Shout out to the Texans who lost by the way, and then we haven't talked about that on the show yet.
- 6:40[SPEAKER_00]: Shout out Texans not being able to make it to the AFC championship.
- 6:44[SPEAKER_00]: They've never made it pretty crazy.
- 6:49[SPEAKER_00]: Don't
- 6:52[SPEAKER_00]: I think a lot of people are way too harsh on CJ Stroud right now.
- 6:55[SPEAKER_00]: I'll say that.
- 6:56[SPEAKER_00]: Didn't play well.
- 6:59[SPEAKER_00]: But I don't be a conversation for another day.
- 7:06[SPEAKER_00]: Can you just see Campanile and Baltimore?
- 7:12[SPEAKER_00]: And it's going to be difficult for him to get hired.
- 7:15[SPEAKER_00]: And almost seems like you didn't squeeze more.
- 7:18[SPEAKER_00]: likely to get hired in Cleveland.
- 7:20[SPEAKER_00]: But who know, I mean, Sean McDermott's now on the open market.
- 7:23[SPEAKER_00]: There's so many coaches for teams to look at.
- 7:27[SPEAKER_00]: The Falcons of Hards to Fansky.
- 7:32[SPEAKER_00]: Now the bills are going to be conducting a search.
- 7:34[SPEAKER_00]: Will Campanile, or Edensky be involved in that?
- 7:37[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know.
- 7:40[SPEAKER_00]: It's going to be wild to just see how they is like 10 head coaches that have been fired, I think.
- 7:49[SPEAKER_00]: You don't normally see it like this, and chiply, he made a great point, John chiply.
- 7:54[SPEAKER_00]: Does it great?
- 7:55[SPEAKER_00]: Excuse me, does it a great job covering the Jaguars?
- 7:59[SPEAKER_00]: For SI, and he's like, if the Jags had held on to Doug one year too long, what type of position would they be in right now?
- 8:08[SPEAKER_00]: With this coaching search stuff, because it's just a massive sweeping NFL, like a third of the teams have fired their coach.
- 8:17[SPEAKER_00]: It's crazy, absolutely crazy, but the jags they got their head man, and that's the most important thing.
- 8:22[SPEAKER_00]: They got Liam Cohen, and he's not going anywhere.
- 8:25[SPEAKER_00]: So they got Cohen and Gladstone and Tony Bicelli, and I think they've got a great triumvirate of leadership at the top, they've got an owner who will spare no expense.
- 8:38[SPEAKER_00]: And I think they've got a bright future with or without these coordinators, but
- 8:43[SPEAKER_00]: You know, selfishly, you just want to see these guys in Jacksonville another year, keep the gang together and push forward, not have to hit the reset button in any way.
- 8:53[SPEAKER_00]: Let me know how y'all are feeling in the comment section below.
