João Klauss, Justin Haak score after Rapids’ own goal and Galaxy rally for 3-2 victory
João Klauss and Justin Haak scored following a second-half own goal by Colorado’s Reggie Cannon and the Los Angeles Galaxy rallied to beat the Rapids 3-2. Rookie Donavan Phillip scored his second goal four minutes into his fourth start and Paxten Aaronson scored in the 39th for a 2-0 lead at halftime for Colorado (11-13-3). The Galaxy (9-10-9) cut it to 2-1 in the 53rd minute on Cannon’s miscue, and Klauss scored his sixth goal — unassisted in the 66th to tie it 2-all. Haak scored for the first time this season to give the Galaxy the lead in the 74th minute.
