- 0:07Speaker 1: Welcome into another episode of Inside the Charge. I'm Mattie
- 0:10Speaker 1: glab and I'm joined by Lockdown Cornerbacks. Your Davy is white.
- 0:16Speaker 2: This is your second week saying I don't know and.
- 0:19Speaker 1: Keep saying it because you keep making play straight.
- 0:21Speaker 2: As long as you keep saying it, I'm gonna keep
- 0:23Speaker 2: making play.
- 0:23Speaker 1: I'm speaking it into existing.
- 0:25Speaker 2: There we go. You know, we finished each other another.
- 0:27Speaker 1: Big game out of year. You had a big pass
- 0:30Speaker 1: break up in the second quarter on a huge tight end.
- 0:34Speaker 1: It was a touchdown saving play. How are you in
- 0:37Speaker 1: the right position to lay that hard hit?
- 0:40Speaker 3: We were in one of our own coverages where you know,
- 0:42Speaker 3: I gotta get my eyes back on the quarterback play
- 0:45Speaker 3: an area.
- 0:47Speaker 2: Uh.
- 0:47Speaker 3: You know, we did a great job of covering the
- 0:49Speaker 3: covering the guys down the field. It was a short field,
- 0:51Speaker 3: but we did a great job. It's taking all the
- 0:53Speaker 3: original reason away, and you know quarterback wanted to go
- 0:56Speaker 3: to the escort on the side to my side.
- 0:58Speaker 2: I was playing, you know, cover two drop man its
- 1:01Speaker 2: in the flat.
- 1:02Speaker 3: I was able to get a beat on it and
- 1:04Speaker 3: get to the guy before he was able to see me.
- 1:07Speaker 2: Maddie, because I'm not the biggest guy.
- 1:08Speaker 3: You know, so when these guys can are able to
- 1:11Speaker 3: square me up, like, it's not a good down time
- 1:13Speaker 3: for me. But I was able to get there before
- 1:15Speaker 3: he was able to see me and get the ball
- 1:18Speaker 3: and turn around and square me up. So yeah, I
- 1:20Speaker 3: was able to make a big time hit. You know,
- 1:21Speaker 3: I don't do many of those.
- 1:23Speaker 1: That was a hard hit. He bobbled the pass and
- 1:26Speaker 1: then couldn't come down with it because you hit him
- 1:28Speaker 1: so hard.
- 1:29Speaker 3: Trade, That's what I'm saying, Like, you know, I might
- 1:32Speaker 3: be small, but I come with a little punch.
- 1:33Speaker 2: I come with a nice little punch. But I had
- 1:36Speaker 2: been lifting wasted last week.
- 1:37Speaker 3: I had I had three weight lifted sessions last week,
- 1:40Speaker 3: so that could be that could be a deal. But
- 1:43Speaker 3: I just think with these guys when they don't see me,
- 1:47Speaker 3: I'm coming in with some power behind.
- 1:49Speaker 2: My little self.
- 1:50Speaker 3: So I just feel like, you know, if you're not
- 1:52Speaker 3: seeing Trey White out there, I'm coming with I'm packing
- 1:55Speaker 3: some power behind me.
- 1:56Speaker 1: When you notice the receiver doesn't see me, I have
- 2:00Speaker 1: a split second to get there and lay this head
- 2:02Speaker 1: on the guy. How do you make sure that you
- 2:06Speaker 1: nail it?
- 2:07Speaker 3: Oh, I'm gonna make sure because I don't get many
- 2:10Speaker 3: clean shots. Guys are really like seeing me and squaming
- 2:12Speaker 3: me up, and they ever like try to take advantage
- 2:14Speaker 3: of my size. But when I'm not, when they're not
- 2:17Speaker 3: able to see me and square me up, and I
- 2:18Speaker 3: can get a good read on it and get to
- 2:20Speaker 3: the spot before they can. Oh, it's gonna be a
- 2:23Speaker 3: good collision. It's gonna be a big collision. I gotta
- 2:24Speaker 3: make up for all of the times that it don't
- 2:28Speaker 3: go my way. So I gotta make a splash play
- 2:30Speaker 3: and make everybody know like, Okay, he will hit somebody.
- 2:33Speaker 1: Sometimes you gotta put it out there, put it out
- 2:36Speaker 1: on tape.
- 2:37Speaker 2: It's on tape now.
- 2:38Speaker 1: So yeah, that was one of those hits where people are.
- 2:41Speaker 2: Like, who for me too? It'd be like woo for
- 2:44Speaker 2: me too?
- 2:45Speaker 1: Did it hurt?
- 2:46Speaker 3: Nah, it didn't hurt, But like on the plane ride home,
- 2:49Speaker 3: I felt a little something though in the traps in
- 2:53Speaker 3: the tight end. I'm saying, I'm right now standing, I'm
- 2:58Speaker 3: probably a good one eighty ninety one ninety one.
- 3:04Speaker 2: This guy to.
- 3:06Speaker 3: Something to sixty five to just two fifty five to fifty,
- 3:12Speaker 3: So it's like sixty pounds on me, then you and
- 3:15Speaker 3: then you factor in the helmet to show the pass
- 3:18Speaker 3: and all of that.
- 3:19Speaker 2: Like he's two seventy.
- 3:20Speaker 3: I mean he's two seventy at that point, So yeah,
- 3:23Speaker 3: I gotta come with a little something.
- 3:24Speaker 1: You know what, Trey, you got the heart of a lion. Yeah,
- 3:28Speaker 1: we saw it out there. No, no, no, tiger, Tiger, tiger?
- 3:33Speaker 2: What that was? That was my no lions.
- 3:37Speaker 1: You know who came to eat against the Cleveland Browns
- 3:40Speaker 1: defensive end, Greg Russo. He was fierce. Two and a
- 3:43Speaker 1: half sacks, seven quarterback hits the fourth quarter. That dude
- 3:46Speaker 1: came alive. What was it about Buffalo's pass rush plan
- 3:50Speaker 1: that allowed Russo to have a sack and a half
- 3:52Speaker 1: on the final two drives.
- 3:54Speaker 3: Those guys, I always say, like to be a great
- 3:58Speaker 3: defensive front, it's like you gotta be in sync all
- 4:00Speaker 3: the time. And those guys are always in scene without
- 4:03Speaker 3: all the games that they run and just rushing it's
- 4:06Speaker 3: always the Russian coverage. But those guys do a great
- 4:09Speaker 3: job of just like working together, like Joey Bosa with
- 4:12Speaker 3: day Kwan with Greg, then in factor Aj in there,
- 4:15Speaker 3: and then you got who else.
- 4:17Speaker 2: We go mixing whoever we mixing in there?
- 4:20Speaker 3: Deon Walker D one one, you feel me, young guy
- 4:25Speaker 3: making plays, TJ Sanders, all these guys, man, but I
- 4:29Speaker 3: just feel like, you know, these guys are just getting
- 4:31Speaker 3: a knack for just getting to the quarterback. Like when
- 4:34Speaker 3: it comes down to it, these guys want to make
- 4:36Speaker 3: the play. They want to put the game pretty much
- 4:38Speaker 3: on the pass rushes back to know, like we're gonna
- 4:40Speaker 3: make this quarterback day uncomfortable. And I just feel like,
- 4:44Speaker 3: you know, with Greg, like he's such a huge body,
- 4:47Speaker 3: like he can like affect the quarterback in so many ways,
- 4:50Speaker 3: getting his hands up, bend in the corner, getting around
- 4:53Speaker 3: or just putting the offense Tachcaus in the quarterbacks lap.
- 4:57Speaker 3: So I mean, he's a guy that can do it
- 4:59Speaker 3: at all. I mean you even see even Joey dropping
- 5:03Speaker 3: back in coverage making a big time tackle on a
- 5:05Speaker 3: third and lone two. So I'm just saying, like these
- 5:08Speaker 3: guys do it all like they complete football players. And
- 5:10Speaker 3: like seeing Greg have a day like that two and
- 5:13Speaker 3: a half sacks, nine pressures, nine pressures pressures for one
- 5:17Speaker 3: guy for one guy.
- 5:20Speaker 2: That's dominance.
- 5:20Speaker 3: Like that's you see the money not the money though,
- 5:25Speaker 3: I think this is the rule. So like, no, when
- 5:28Speaker 3: you see when he do this with both hands, not
- 5:31Speaker 3: just one with both hands. I just he's saying, like
- 5:34Speaker 3: I'm here, but like look at me. Guy's a dominant
- 5:38Speaker 3: He's a dominant player. I mean he's been doing it
- 5:40Speaker 3: for a while. Just just to see the strides that
- 5:42Speaker 3: he's made, like just from twenty twenty, Like, yeah, I
- 5:46Speaker 3: remember him walking in here like as a rookie twenty
- 5:49Speaker 3: years old.
- 5:50Speaker 2: Like I was huge, and I gave him. I gave him.
- 5:53Speaker 3: I gave him a funny nickname though, cell phone. Why
- 5:57Speaker 3: because every time that I saw this kid, like he
- 6:00Speaker 3: had his cell phone in his hand, like he always
- 6:02Speaker 3: had it in these days. But the cell phone was
- 6:06Speaker 3: so small and his Greg hands is so big, Like
- 6:09Speaker 3: the phone was literally like a like like a flip
- 6:12Speaker 3: phone or something in his hand. I was like, bro,
- 6:13Speaker 3: like you gotta get the Max Like at that point
- 6:16Speaker 3: he had just like the regular iPhone. He didn't have
- 6:18Speaker 3: the Max Pro. I was like, everything gonna look small
- 6:21Speaker 3: in him, But bro, at least you get get you
- 6:24Speaker 3: something that you can at least die the numbers with
- 6:25Speaker 3: your fingers. But no big a big time day by
- 6:29Speaker 3: Greg Man in the whole D line, those guys, but
- 6:31Speaker 3: seven precious.
- 6:33Speaker 1: Yeah, seven quarterback hits, quarterback pressures.
- 6:35Speaker 2: Oh he had seven quarterback hit Yeah, he had seven.
- 6:38Speaker 1: By seven by himself.
- 6:40Speaker 2: When you said that, I thought.
- 6:41Speaker 3: You was saying, like, as a d line, we had
- 6:43Speaker 3: seven quarterback he had seven quarterback hits, nine prescires, two
- 6:46Speaker 3: and a half sack.
- 6:47Speaker 1: That's Greg Russo's style line.
- 6:48Speaker 3: That'srew that line stuffer, like he filled up the stats
- 6:53Speaker 3: like that.
- 6:54Speaker 1: A pass rush plan isn't something that happens right out
- 6:58Speaker 1: of the gate. In some games, you have to set
- 7:01Speaker 1: things up so in the fourth quarter when you need
- 7:04Speaker 1: a hit on the quarterback, it happens. How does a
- 7:07Speaker 1: pass rush plan unfold throughout a game?
- 7:11Speaker 3: I just feel like you gotta first of all, you
- 7:14Speaker 3: gotta get the quarterback behind the stick.
- 7:15Speaker 2: You gotta get the offense behind the sticks.
- 7:17Speaker 3: You gotta get a negative play on first second down
- 7:20Speaker 3: to make it you know, one dimension where the quarterback
- 7:23Speaker 3: has to drop back and pass it. So in those
- 7:25Speaker 3: situations like that's what the pass rushers want. Like you
- 7:28Speaker 3: in those situation, know the quarterback has to drop back.
- 7:30Speaker 3: You know they're gonna pass. You can see if they're
- 7:32Speaker 3: gonna chip you to see you know you can decipher, Like,
- 7:35Speaker 3: how do I want to attack this guy? I know
- 7:37Speaker 3: they're gonna pass. I know this guy gotta you know,
- 7:39Speaker 3: get back in his set. So how I'm gonna attack him?
- 7:41Speaker 3: So I've been setting them up with speed all day?
- 7:43Speaker 3: Maybe I hit him with a smim swim move. May
- 7:45Speaker 3: I hit him with a spin? May I hit him
- 7:48Speaker 3: with an ice pick? Or may I hit him with
- 7:50Speaker 3: the Von Miller ghost move?
- 7:52Speaker 2: You know what I mean? But I could be a
- 7:54Speaker 2: D line coach. You hear everything that.
- 7:56Speaker 1: Would be what would be your move if you were
- 7:58Speaker 1: a pass rusher.
- 7:59Speaker 3: I just feel like that ghost move it's like so
- 8:03Speaker 3: like it's one of the toughest things you can do
- 8:05Speaker 3: because it's just like you hit him with a move
- 8:06Speaker 3: and like you're there and but you're not there, and
- 8:08Speaker 3: then you just go celebrate like you're a ghost. So
- 8:10Speaker 3: it's just like the art of that is great. So
- 8:13Speaker 3: I just feel like, have you ever tried the ghost move?
- 8:16Speaker 2: Oh?
- 8:17Speaker 3: Most definitely if I'm coming on, if I'm coming on
- 8:20Speaker 3: the blitz, if I'm not Scott Free, like I don't
- 8:24Speaker 3: have many moves I meant like.
- 8:26Speaker 1: For fun in practice, Like oh.
- 8:28Speaker 3: For sure, Like I tried to do now, I try
- 8:30Speaker 3: to do the ghost move on d On one time
- 8:32Speaker 3: doing camp.
- 8:35Speaker 2: Then hit me.
- 8:36Speaker 3: He just like literally like tap me, like come on,
- 8:38Speaker 3: trade way, that's not gonna work on me. But yeah,
- 8:41Speaker 3: I tried it on him though we came on all
- 8:43Speaker 3: the bisiness. I just I was like, he not gonna
- 8:45Speaker 3: see me, Like, I don't really do this often, but
- 8:47Speaker 3: I try to hit him with a ghost move and
- 8:49Speaker 3: it it didn't go well.
- 8:50Speaker 2: It ain't well.
- 8:51Speaker 3: But yeah, I would say if I was a past rusher,
- 8:55Speaker 3: like that would be my my change up right there.
- 8:57Speaker 2: The ghost move for sure.
- 8:58Speaker 1: I like it. You know, well, I've been noticing something
- 9:01Speaker 1: in the last few games. The veterans are making plays.
- 9:05Speaker 1: You Jordan Poyer, who had an interception against the Browns.
- 9:09Speaker 1: Matt Mulano has put together a few important games where
- 9:11Speaker 1: he's had some meaningful tackles. Trey. It is week sixteen.
- 9:17Speaker 1: You guys have been in the league for several years.
- 9:21Speaker 1: Why have you been so physical in the last few
- 9:25Speaker 1: games when your bodies are not one.
- 9:28Speaker 3: That's that cold to that hot, to being gay icy high?
- 9:35Speaker 3: What's the copper fit Brett for the sleeve? Whatever we need?
- 9:40Speaker 3: What else we got? I mean, I just think you know,
- 9:44Speaker 3: but you know, I just think just the camaraderie we have,
- 9:48Speaker 3: like just coming down to stretch.
- 9:49Speaker 2: You we know, like urgency's high.
- 9:52Speaker 3: Games are more meaningful around this time, and you know,
- 9:54Speaker 3: each possession on defense means a lot, like we are
- 9:58Speaker 3: trying to get the ball back to our quarterback. So
- 10:00Speaker 3: I just think that guys know, you know, the urgency
- 10:03Speaker 3: is high. We know what's at stake. We know we
- 10:05Speaker 3: need to step up in these big time moments to
- 10:07Speaker 3: win these games. And I just think, you know, with
- 10:09Speaker 3: the veteran presence that we have on this team, like
- 10:11Speaker 3: these guys know their job. We know what we need
- 10:14Speaker 3: to do. We know like the simple call, okay, coach
- 10:16Speaker 3: called this, we know what we have to do. But
- 10:18Speaker 3: we we're to the point as a group like he
- 10:21Speaker 3: called in this defense, where can I make a play
- 10:23Speaker 3: within the scheme of the defense? And I just think
- 10:25Speaker 3: that's the step that we were taking. Now we're not
- 10:27Speaker 3: just doing our jobs. We're doing like the extra as
- 10:31Speaker 3: far as like where can I make a play in
- 10:33Speaker 3: this defense to not sabotage the defense, but also just
- 10:38Speaker 3: towing the line, crossing that line to where it's like
- 10:41Speaker 3: I gotta do something extra I know coach called this,
- 10:43Speaker 3: but I gotta go make a play for the team
- 10:45Speaker 3: within the scheme. And I just think when you have
- 10:47Speaker 3: guys that's been in this scheme for so long, they
- 10:50Speaker 3: know where to pick those spots to yeah, make those
- 10:52Speaker 3: type of players and take those type of chants. So
- 10:54Speaker 3: I just feel like that's what's really happening. We're just
- 10:57Speaker 3: going out there and playing free.
- 10:59Speaker 1: You know the schemes so well that at this point
- 11:01Speaker 1: in the season, you've wrapped it so many times that
- 11:03Speaker 1: you can play free, you can play fast, and like
- 11:06Speaker 1: you said, you can pick your spots. You what do
- 11:08Speaker 1: you what do the veterans say to each other after
- 11:10Speaker 1: you guys walk off the field after a game like
- 11:13Speaker 1: that where the old heads are making plays, you look
- 11:16Speaker 1: at each other and you're like, we still got it.
- 11:19Speaker 2: It's that Napa Valley. Fine wine.
- 11:22Speaker 3: I'm telling you, like, we ain't aging mad at We're
- 11:25Speaker 3: not aging at all.
- 11:26Speaker 2: Say what you want, not at all. You feel me.
- 11:28Speaker 3: You come down to the basement of the wine time,
- 11:30Speaker 3: we go have a little wine time, and I just
- 11:33Speaker 3: feel like, no, but I just think.
- 11:36Speaker 2: Just the love that we have for each other.
- 11:37Speaker 3: And also, you know, because MC Darmond has been doing
- 11:39Speaker 3: a great job of just mixing in like the walkthroughs
- 11:42Speaker 3: and you know what I mean, the meetings and just
- 11:44Speaker 3: giving us more time to rest Wednesday, giving us more
- 11:47Speaker 3: time to rest, you know, coming in a little bit later,
- 11:49Speaker 3: but also getting out working.
- 11:51Speaker 2: But it pays to have.
- 11:52Speaker 3: A veteran driven group to be able to handle that
- 11:55Speaker 3: that change up and also be professional and get all
- 11:58Speaker 3: the work that we need to get and so we
- 11:59Speaker 3: can be prepared on Sunday so we won't think about, oh,
- 12:03Speaker 3: if we were to practice on Wednesday, we had a
- 12:06Speaker 3: full week of practice, we would have won better. No,
- 12:09Speaker 3: we're a professional, like we've been doing this for a while,
- 12:12Speaker 3: Like we know what we need to do.
- 12:13Speaker 2: We go in and watch the tape.
- 12:14Speaker 3: At this point of the season, it's more mental than physical,
- 12:17Speaker 3: Like you want to just get to Sunday and just
- 12:19Speaker 3: be able to apply to things that you learned throughout
- 12:21Speaker 3: the week about your opponent. And at this point in the
- 12:23Speaker 3: time of the season, like offense is not really changing.
- 12:26Speaker 2: They can't put it in new, you know.
- 12:28Speaker 3: So it's just like, okay, let's hone in on what
- 12:30Speaker 3: they do on the meeting potatoes of what they do
- 12:32Speaker 3: and then let's go out there and play it free.
- 12:34Speaker 2: And I just think that's what we're doing.
- 12:36Speaker 3: We're just going out there with the awareness of what
- 12:39Speaker 3: are these guys gonna do, what they're gonna try to
- 12:40Speaker 3: do to attack us on these first couple series, Okay,
- 12:44Speaker 3: but then let's flush that and also let's do what
- 12:47Speaker 3: we do, like, let's worry about us and let's go
- 12:50Speaker 3: attack it the way that we do, but also with
- 12:53Speaker 3: awareness of what they do. But I just think we
- 12:55Speaker 3: wor more about us, and that's the main thing. I
- 12:59Speaker 3: feel like once we worried about us more and not
- 13:01Speaker 3: more worried about the opponent, we play better with the
- 13:04Speaker 3: clear mind like that at.
- 13:05Speaker 1: This point in the season, it's more mental than physical.
- 13:08Speaker 1: Two weeks left in the season, you're trying to punch
- 13:10Speaker 1: your ticket to the playoffs. What are you telling the
- 13:12Speaker 1: rookies about the mindset?
- 13:14Speaker 3: Hey, look, let's keep going like we got so much,
- 13:18Speaker 3: we got so much more to prove, Like we're still
- 13:20Speaker 3: getting better at this point, because you know, at this
- 13:22Speaker 3: point it's it's the the second season, I feel, and
- 13:26Speaker 3: I just think these last few weeks, these last couple
- 13:29Speaker 3: of weeks, we just got to continue to hone in
- 13:31Speaker 3: and continue to hone in on those fundamentals because you know,
- 13:34Speaker 3: after that it's winn to go home. So like we're
- 13:37Speaker 3: telling these guys like whatever you need to do to
- 13:39Speaker 3: get your mind right to not being a rookie, what
- 13:42Speaker 3: is called the rook the rookie, Like let's let's let's
- 13:45Speaker 3: be away with that. Like these these games are getting
- 13:48Speaker 3: so much meaningful, like and we can do something that's
- 13:50Speaker 3: so special, so it's like let's lock in. But I
- 13:54Speaker 3: just think with these guys, they first year here, like
- 13:56Speaker 3: it's so exciting. So I just think like we got
- 14:00Speaker 3: guys they they won't probably winning a lot, like except
- 14:04Speaker 3: for Jordan Hancott, he won a national championship, but it's
- 14:06Speaker 3: like a lot of these guys didn't come from winning programs.
- 14:08Speaker 3: So like seeing the winning and seeing how like this
- 14:12Speaker 3: is like a college atmosphere, like it's.
- 14:15Speaker 2: Keeping the attention. I don't think they're hitting the wall.
- 14:17Speaker 3: So I just think that, you know, we got a
- 14:18Speaker 3: lot of veterans on our group that you know, keep
- 14:20Speaker 3: keep it light, keep you know, keep the locker room light.
- 14:23Speaker 3: So these guys cannot feel like, you know, it's so
- 14:26Speaker 3: much pressure. But I just think that uh you know
- 14:29Speaker 3: with guys like myself and Jordan and Josh Dion, like
- 14:34Speaker 3: we just have a great collective group of guys that
- 14:37Speaker 3: you know what I mean, It's.
- 14:38Speaker 2: Not gonna let that happen. We not gonna let it happen.
- 14:40Speaker 3: We we got to lock in, like these games are
- 14:42Speaker 3: getting important and like we can do something special.
- 14:44Speaker 2: So we need our hands on deck.
- 14:46Speaker 3: And these guys know that, and uh so I think
- 14:48Speaker 3: we're we'll be good that we're not worried about these
- 14:50Speaker 3: guys getting tired, were ready to roll.
- 14:52Speaker 1: I love that. That's what we want to hear. At
- 14:54Speaker 1: this point in the season, the rookies are locked in
- 14:56Speaker 1: and radio as well as the veterans who are feeling
- 14:59Speaker 1: well an aging like fine wine, Napple Valley, Napa Valley,
- 15:04Speaker 1: the Reserve.
- 15:05Speaker 3: I'm talking about like a nineteen seventy something that holds.
- 15:10Speaker 1: A pretty penny tray.
- 15:12Speaker 2: Oh yeah, we're.
- 15:12Speaker 3: Gonna save up for it though, you know, we win
- 15:15Speaker 3: the game we're supposed to win.
- 15:16Speaker 1: Crack it open.
- 15:17Speaker 3: I'm cracking and all open, and I probably just stay
- 15:19Speaker 3: out there for a whole week.
- 15:20Speaker 2: Go to Napple actually and stay for a whole week.
- 15:22Speaker 1: As you should. You know, It's time to crown the
- 15:25Speaker 1: Dog of the Week who earned this week's award.
- 15:30Speaker 3: This is a tough one, you know, horror falk game.
- 15:33Speaker 3: I mean, I got a lot of teammates that balled out.
- 15:35Speaker 3: I mean it was a gritty game. But this guy here,
- 15:40Speaker 3: stack sheet stuffer. I'm gonna read it off like you
- 15:44Speaker 3: would do it. Nine quarterback hits. Nice, oh, nine quarterback pressures,
- 15:49Speaker 3: seven quarterback hits, two and a half sacks, a second
- 15:52Speaker 3: and half on the last two drives in the fourth quarter,
- 15:56Speaker 3: a fourth down stop too. M hm, oh my god,
- 16:01Speaker 3: cell phone six five, the human manthod the what else?
- 16:06Speaker 3: The Great Wall of Buffalo, Wall of Buffalo, Let me see,
- 16:10Speaker 3: let me see, the the g giraffe? What else could
- 16:14Speaker 3: I the elephant? I mean, what else can we call
- 16:17Speaker 3: this guy? I mean, Greg Russo, you my boy, or
- 16:21Speaker 3: the Dog of the week. You've you've been warning one
- 16:25Speaker 3: of these type of games. We needed you. You stepped
- 16:28Speaker 3: up when we really needed you to. It was a
- 16:30Speaker 3: big time, big time plays by you. Man man like,
- 16:35Speaker 3: I'm so happy that you got this, but we need more.
- 16:38Speaker 3: We need more of these from you for show like
- 16:40Speaker 3: two and a half sex like you really took that
- 16:42Speaker 3: game over by yourself.
- 16:43Speaker 2: Boy, he did you could do that? Somebody did it?
- 16:48Speaker 2: Was it was G time, G time. Yeah, this is
- 16:53Speaker 2: the Dog of the week. Man. Fully deserve it. Man.
- 16:56Speaker 3: This guy works extremely hard. Man like, he's hard on
- 16:59Speaker 3: himself too. And I just think that, uh, you know,
- 17:02Speaker 3: whenever you can go into a game and have stats
- 17:05Speaker 3: like that and just continue to just wear your team
- 17:07Speaker 3: and put it on and put us he put the
- 17:09Speaker 3: defense on his back and do stuff like that, man like,
- 17:12Speaker 3: you deserve the d a w.
- 17:16Speaker 2: G of the week dog straight dog Greg grew.
- 17:19Speaker 1: So rad Screg love it. You said, we need more
- 17:25Speaker 1: of that out of Greg Russo as a teammate. How
- 17:28Speaker 1: do you help a guy like that do it again
- 17:31Speaker 1: and again?
- 17:32Speaker 2: Oh, you gonna see that trophy. He gonna get this.
- 17:34Speaker 3: You see that trophe he gonna get on in a
- 17:36Speaker 3: couple of days. He's gonna be very motivated to keep
- 17:38Speaker 3: it at his locker. But I just think that, you know, Greg,
- 17:41Speaker 3: he's a competitor. He wants he wants to be great, like,
- 17:44Speaker 3: he want to have games like these, So you know,
- 17:48Speaker 3: for him to get that, get that taste of it,
- 17:50Speaker 3: I just feel like he's gonna get that little hunger
- 17:52Speaker 3: a little bit more and just keep going. But when
- 17:55Speaker 3: you have a game like that, just begin to just
- 17:58Speaker 3: start flowing, like you know what I mean. So whenever
- 18:01Speaker 3: you have a game like that, like even for anybody,
- 18:03Speaker 3: like they just start it just started flowing. You getting
- 18:05Speaker 3: the groove and you get that confidence like nobody can
- 18:08Speaker 3: block you. So now it's just you gonna seem like, damn,
- 18:12Speaker 3: he always in the backfield. He's always in the backfield now,
- 18:14Speaker 3: so I mean, he's been prying pressure all year, but
- 18:18Speaker 3: to come away with two and a half sacks, huge
- 18:21Speaker 3: guys pray for one sack, yeah, let.
- 18:23Speaker 2: Alone two and a half.
- 18:25Speaker 3: I mean, but I mean, I just think, you know,
- 18:27Speaker 3: the whole defense, the whole diffence line, and it's on
- 18:29Speaker 3: us too in the back end to get the quarterback
- 18:32Speaker 3: to pack the ball so he won't get to get
- 18:34Speaker 3: the ball out so fast so these guys can have
- 18:36Speaker 3: time to get back there.
- 18:37Speaker 2: So I'm gonna put that on me too.
- 18:40Speaker 3: You know, in the secondary, we gotta hold you gotta
- 18:42Speaker 3: make these quarterback hold the ball along so these guys
- 18:44Speaker 3: can get back their hell stats like that, you guys.
- 18:47Speaker 1: Had tighter coverage in the fourth quarter, for sure, it
- 18:49Speaker 1: allowed to Greg groups to pen your ears back and
- 18:52Speaker 1: get after a rookie quarterback. It was awesome to see
- 18:55Speaker 1: him have that game. Hopefully many more to.
- 18:57Speaker 2: Come, many more season.
- 18:59Speaker 1: Sure, it's the holiday season. Christmas is right around the corner.
- 19:03Speaker 1: Are the defensive backs exchanging presence? Yes, we know you
- 19:08Speaker 1: all you guys do? Is it a white elephant?
- 19:10Speaker 2: It's like a white elephant.
- 19:11Speaker 3: So all gifts on the table and it goes from
- 19:17Speaker 3: the youngest to the oldest, or the oldest to the youngest.
- 19:21Speaker 2: It goes like that.
- 19:22Speaker 3: But you know, you could pick a gift, but you
- 19:24Speaker 3: can get your gift stolen.
- 19:26Speaker 2: The gift can get stolen twice.
- 19:28Speaker 1: What's the price limit?
- 19:29Speaker 3: Oh, it's a minimum. This shit is so the minimum
- 19:31Speaker 3: is like fifteen hundred. Wow, So that's a pretty opinion.
- 19:34Speaker 3: Now for a guy with me, I got a whole
- 19:36Speaker 3: fam you know, I gotta get I can't be spending
- 19:38Speaker 3: that much on my team.
- 19:39Speaker 2: Is like that.
- 19:39Speaker 3: I love hundred now, I love my teammates to death,
- 19:43Speaker 3: But fifte minimum minimum.
- 19:45Speaker 2: You can spend more if you want to.
- 19:47Speaker 3: You're feeling generous, man, it's nineteen. It's fourteen ninety nine,
- 19:52Speaker 3: ninety nine for me, no over. We're not doing no
- 19:57Speaker 3: overs on this, Like I'm to the t love the guys,
- 20:02Speaker 3: but fifteen hundred is a pretty penning. Like around holiday season,
- 20:06Speaker 3: met with all these kids, like I can be giving
- 20:08Speaker 3: up no stuff.
- 20:09Speaker 2: But every year, though, it's it's always good.
- 20:12Speaker 3: It's always exciting to see like at least two or
- 20:15Speaker 3: three guys leading room a little mad because they get
- 20:17Speaker 3: that gift stolen that they really want. So yeah, it's
- 20:20Speaker 3: always be like that, but it's always fun, like we
- 20:23Speaker 3: have so much fun. We always have this inside joke though.
- 20:27Speaker 3: So one year, one of my favorite teammates, you you
- 20:31Speaker 3: know this guy very well. So he had this brilliant
- 20:34Speaker 3: idea to buy like normal text, the whole normal Text.
- 20:41Speaker 3: No he bought then yeah he was actually man, yes
- 20:47Speaker 3: for sure, and like everybody was like you know we
- 20:51Speaker 3: was you know we but after like we're like like
- 20:54Speaker 3: it was michaeh.
- 20:56Speaker 2: He thought it was Michael.
- 20:57Speaker 3: He bought the whole I'm like me and Poe like
- 21:00Speaker 3: we like like Michael, Like nah, nah, bro, Like no,
- 21:05Speaker 3: why you bring it buy a normal text for Christmas?
- 21:08Speaker 3: Like like we could get that in the facility, Like
- 21:11Speaker 3: we can literally go up there and get you can
- 21:13Speaker 3: get something to take home. So like he got a
- 21:15Speaker 3: little but heard about it, like he was he didn't
- 21:18Speaker 3: want to talk to for a couple of days.
- 21:19Speaker 2: So now every year, like when we were like, hey,
- 21:22Speaker 2: we got the.
- 21:23Speaker 3: Christmas Exchange coming up, Hey, no Norman text, no Ultra boots,
- 21:29Speaker 3: no nothing, no covert, no uh thorough guns, nothing, none
- 21:34Speaker 3: of that, no normal, no compacts. So that and it's
- 21:37Speaker 3: like funy, like I'm gonna text Michael after this and
- 21:41Speaker 3: I'm gonna text like we having the you know, the
- 21:43Speaker 3: Christmas exchange. Man, we already told the dudes like no
- 21:46Speaker 3: normal take I guarantee you he gonna like send me
- 21:49Speaker 3: some customers because he get mad each and every year
- 21:51Speaker 3: that we do it. But it's so fun and I
- 21:54Speaker 3: look forward to it. I think my gift is pretty good.
- 21:58Speaker 3: I'm not good at you know, the gift giving up.
- 22:00Speaker 1: When are you exchanging gifts?
- 22:02Speaker 2: It's gonna be Friday. So Friday.
- 22:03Speaker 1: I was gonna say, we're not going to reveal it
- 22:06Speaker 1: on here then, because this is gonna post. You guys
- 22:10Speaker 1: do gift exchange.
- 22:11Speaker 2: They be watching the pod too.
- 22:14Speaker 3: We got them, we got them ghost viewers though they're
- 22:16Speaker 3: not gonna tell me they tune but the day.
- 22:18Speaker 1: Tune in, they want to hear what White has to say.
- 22:20Speaker 2: For sure, you know, don't.
- 22:22Speaker 3: It's not very many pods I've been on and now
- 22:25Speaker 3: that I got my own little I'm invested in this.
- 22:29Speaker 2: We're gonna talk, We're gonna talk games. And they want
- 22:31Speaker 2: to hear.
- 22:32Speaker 1: What's the best gift you've gotten in this gift exchange?
- 22:34Speaker 1: Do you remember one one year that was just better
- 22:37Speaker 1: than most?
- 22:38Speaker 3: Yes, because this one that I still use, Well, I
- 22:44Speaker 3: would say too, but the best one, I would say, Okay, okay,
- 22:53Speaker 3: po Poor got me a Louiston a black Louisvuton like
- 23:00Speaker 3: roll roll suitcase. But it's not the one with the
- 23:03Speaker 3: the like the color LV. It's like it's like imprinted
- 23:08Speaker 3: in into the bag and it's black, but it's it's clean, Maddie,
- 23:14Speaker 3: and it's a little it's spacious too. You know, I'm
- 23:18Speaker 3: not a guy really many labels, but it's one of
- 23:21Speaker 3: those ones if you know, if you know, because it's
- 23:24Speaker 3: like you really can't see. Yes, it's real subtle and
- 23:27Speaker 3: that's and that's me. I'm a subtle guy. And he
- 23:30Speaker 3: knew that he did a great job with that one.
- 23:32Speaker 3: Like and to this day. That bag I still have
- 23:35Speaker 3: and I and I rode when I go on the
- 23:36Speaker 3: trip or something, if it's like a two day trip
- 23:39Speaker 3: packed that I mean, it does great. But also Levi
- 23:43Speaker 3: Wallace one year, lev love him. He got me a PlayStation,
- 23:49Speaker 3: a PlayStation five. But this is why I tell you,
- 23:52Speaker 3: like that it's one of the best gifts.
- 23:54Speaker 2: So I had it for like if he bought it
- 23:58Speaker 2: in twenty twenty.
- 24:00Speaker 3: So I've probably had its years. So the last year
- 24:06Speaker 3: I haven't opened it into. I didn't open it into
- 24:08Speaker 3: two thousand and twenty four, two years I didn't open
- 24:12Speaker 3: it because I don't play the game anymore, you know.
- 24:14Speaker 3: But Tristan, my son, my middle son, he got this
- 24:20Speaker 3: fascination with the what it's called the game the kids
- 24:25Speaker 3: were playing, not roadblos it's roadbloxing Fortnite. There it is
- 24:29Speaker 3: so now like this off season like this, we used
- 24:33Speaker 3: to have arguments like Dad, No, we're trying to get
- 24:36Speaker 3: out the plane right here. No follow me over here, No,
- 24:39Speaker 3: don't do that fortnight. Yes, I played with christ I'm respectable.
- 24:44Speaker 3: I'm respectable. I do respectable. But I'm saying we played
- 24:48Speaker 3: like the team death match of the team match and
- 24:51Speaker 3: it's literally like maybe two hundred and something people on
- 24:54Speaker 3: there and sometime we finished like twenty okay, the top
- 24:58Speaker 3: one we finished with like number eight. We was eight.
- 25:01Speaker 3: And this is my son. He is six years old though, man,
- 25:04Speaker 3: like he's like telling me about no, Dad, we gotta go.
- 25:07Speaker 2: We're over here.
- 25:09Speaker 3: But that I would say that's one of the best
- 25:11Speaker 3: gifts because like it's bringing the competitiveness out of my son.
- 25:15Speaker 3: And it's just like I'm getting mad at him when
- 25:18Speaker 3: he don't do anything, do something that I want him
- 25:20Speaker 3: to do because I'm thinking, like, no, we need to
- 25:21Speaker 3: get in the car and do it this way. But
- 25:22Speaker 3: he get mad at me if I'm not doing it
- 25:24Speaker 3: this way. But he's actually good at it though, that's
- 25:27Speaker 3: the thing, Like he's good at it. But I would
- 25:29Speaker 3: say it's one of the best gifts because that far
- 25:32Speaker 3: the son bunding time that we start to have, like
- 25:36Speaker 3: and we begin to look forward to it each of
- 25:39Speaker 3: every day.
- 25:40Speaker 2: But we didn't bring the game.
- 25:41Speaker 3: We didn't bring it up here rain No, No, we
- 25:44Speaker 3: left it back home because if we wanted to focus
- 25:46Speaker 3: school for school, he got a lock in.
- 25:47Speaker 2: The school got a lock in for sure.
- 25:50Speaker 3: But those are the two ones that come to mind,
- 25:52Speaker 3: but the one the game come to mind because I
- 25:55Speaker 3: started using it about a year ago and my son,
- 25:58Speaker 3: he's like really invested in it. So shout out to
- 26:01Speaker 3: Shout out to Les, Shout out to Poe. Man got
- 26:04Speaker 3: picked this week. Pope got a pick, this first pick.
- 26:08Speaker 3: Poe told me it's the first picking three ci.
- 26:10Speaker 1: I can't believe that.
- 26:11Speaker 2: I can't believe because he's been a ball off his
- 26:13Speaker 2: whole career. Yeah, but I.
- 26:15Speaker 3: Could tell now because he didn't really celebrate. He was
- 26:18Speaker 3: just praying to the ball the whole time. And like
- 26:21Speaker 3: we get to the sideline, you know, they come and
- 26:24Speaker 3: get the ball, like because they're gonna keep it for you.
- 26:26Speaker 2: But like I was like, hey, Po, like god, he
- 26:28Speaker 2: was like like.
- 26:30Speaker 1: Don't take this ball from me.
- 26:31Speaker 2: He didn't want to give it up. Man. I'm like, Paul,
- 26:33Speaker 2: get a pick of the boy.
- 26:34Speaker 3: You don't have a ball once you get to your life. Like, bro,
- 26:37Speaker 3: you don't understand, yo, Like shout out the Pope. Man,
- 26:41Speaker 3: Shout out to Poe. He got his first pick in
- 26:43Speaker 3: a couple in a couple of years, in a couple
- 26:45Speaker 3: of seasons.
- 26:45Speaker 1: Man, shout out to Poe. He comes here on the
- 26:47Speaker 1: practice squad thinking he's just gonna help out the team
- 26:50Speaker 1: from a leadership standpoint. You know what, posing their starting man,
- 26:54Speaker 1: he's been doing a great job really helping out the
- 26:57Speaker 1: second year, making some big plays.
- 27:01Speaker 3: That's what I say, man, that's the Napple Boys. That's
- 27:04Speaker 3: what I'm gonna that's the Napple boy. You cann get
- 27:08Speaker 3: a T shirt, make the Dapple Boys. Put all our
- 27:10Speaker 3: faces in the big, big old glass on one cover.
- 27:13Speaker 3: Been a big old glass of wine, like not age,
- 27:17Speaker 3: not agent. Right there, great idea. The Napple Boys. Come
- 27:21Speaker 3: on now, we're gonna put everybody thirty plus on them.
- 27:25Speaker 2: Everybody in the thirty plus club. You're gonna be You're
- 27:27Speaker 2: gonna be on.
- 27:28Speaker 1: A napper unless you're thirty years old.
- 27:30Speaker 2: Oh yeah, you gotta be thirty plus or.
- 27:33Speaker 3: I would say twenty eight ish with a couple of
- 27:35Speaker 3: significant injuries because a couple of years.
- 27:38Speaker 1: Okay, there you go.
- 27:40Speaker 3: But the thirty the thirty plus club, come on, man,
- 27:43Speaker 3: we the Napple Boys, the Napple Boys, and we aging fine,
- 27:47Speaker 3: We're doing great, great right now.
- 27:50Speaker 1: I love that we've come to this revelation on this
- 27:52Speaker 1: podcast about the Napple Boys.
- 27:54Speaker 3: I mean, the shirt is gonna drop. And I think
- 27:56Speaker 3: we're gonna do pretty good on that.
- 27:59Speaker 1: I know you, I promised proudly.
- 28:03Speaker 2: Oh yeah, we gotta we gotta do that for real.
- 28:06Speaker 1: What does a Christmas look like in the White household?
- 28:10Speaker 3: First of all, Maddie, we've been watching Home Alone for
- 28:15Speaker 3: like a for since December first, like one, two and three. Yes, yes,
- 28:23Speaker 3: Like every time we're we're in the common area, or
- 28:26Speaker 3: we're just talking about the day or just I'm getting home,
- 28:29Speaker 3: it's on. When I get home, it's own, get into bed,
- 28:32Speaker 3: it's on, go in the kids room, it's on.
- 28:35Speaker 2: Love Home Alone.
- 28:37Speaker 3: So we're gonna we're gonna run Home Alone the whole
- 28:40Speaker 3: the whole month.
- 28:41Speaker 2: We're gonna we do the tree.
- 28:44Speaker 3: We obviously we do the tree after Thanksgiving, so we
- 28:46Speaker 3: always have try to have a tree up by December.
- 28:48Speaker 2: First, got Christmas lights on the house. Shout out to
- 28:52Speaker 2: me for.
- 28:54Speaker 3: I didn't do it, No, no, no, no, I took
- 28:56Speaker 3: the initiative to get.
- 28:58Speaker 2: It up there. I didn't do it.
- 29:00Speaker 1: If I was doing that, man, your body on the
- 29:04Speaker 1: line for some Christmas.
- 29:05Speaker 2: For the kids, you know, the kids. We want to
- 29:07Speaker 2: come home from school and see something.
- 29:08Speaker 3: So what I did so I stayed across the street
- 29:11Speaker 3: from Reggie, and Reggie had his crist was like up
- 29:13Speaker 3: in like November, and they had to sign in his yard.
- 29:19Speaker 2: Yeah, how you doing? I got this?
- 29:22Speaker 3: How did you hear about us? I'm like, well, my
- 29:25Speaker 3: neighbor across the street, I just saw your sign in
- 29:27Speaker 3: his yard. I just want to do it exactly what
- 29:29Speaker 3: he did. I just want different colors, simple, just exactly
- 29:33Speaker 3: what he did.
- 29:33Speaker 2: Different Where should address? So they look up, Oh that's
- 29:38Speaker 2: red Reggie. Kill him. He's one of our first players.
- 29:42Speaker 2: We give hear him a discount. He's a great guy.
- 29:44Speaker 1: You said what I said, Well, what about me?
- 29:50Speaker 3: My name is such and such. Oh they came out,
- 29:54Speaker 3: no discount. I'm my first year. Reggie is like a repeat.
- 29:59Speaker 3: He was like one of the first.
- 30:01Speaker 2: But it's cool. I'm gonna earn my stroke. I'm gonna
- 30:04Speaker 2: earn my strike.
- 30:05Speaker 1: You know you said all posted about on Instagram.
- 30:08Speaker 3: Let you I let you put your I, let you
- 30:09Speaker 3: put your I, let you put you got three advertisement.
- 30:12Speaker 2: I let you put your sign in the front yard.
- 30:13Speaker 2: It's been in my front yard since the light's been up. Like,
- 30:17Speaker 2: let me so. If I so, I'll be a bad
- 30:20Speaker 2: I'll be a bad.
- 30:22Speaker 3: Consumer if I just go take the sign on my
- 30:24Speaker 3: yard and be like I wonder who did they lights?
- 30:27Speaker 2: You know, come on now give me.
- 30:32Speaker 1: The kids have a lot of presents to open up
- 30:34Speaker 1: on Christmas Day.
- 30:36Speaker 2: This is what we do. We do. Most kids not
- 30:39Speaker 2: patient any day. And Maddie, like I've learned.
- 30:41Speaker 3: We've tried it both ways, wrapping all the gifts and
- 30:45Speaker 3: leaving them, trying to leave them all open before they
- 30:49Speaker 3: could see, and doing a mixture of both, wrappings on
- 30:52Speaker 3: so they can have the excitement of ripping stuff open
- 30:54Speaker 3: and just then having a portion. So the best thing
- 30:58Speaker 3: that we just decide to do is just like have
- 31:01Speaker 3: it all open and just have it all fixed up
- 31:04Speaker 3: so I won't have when they open the box, hey
- 31:07Speaker 3: I wanna put this together. Then they open the next No,
- 31:09Speaker 3: I wanna do this one now. So no, this is
- 31:11Speaker 3: what I do, like the night before for Christmas, like
- 31:14Speaker 3: I just stay up, put all the batteries and everything,
- 31:17Speaker 3: screw everything on, put everything together so when they wake up,
- 31:21Speaker 3: everything is ready to go. So if you wanna go
- 31:22Speaker 3: rotch your bike, go do that. You wanna go do
- 31:24Speaker 3: your skateboard, you wanna do that. I don't have to
- 31:26Speaker 3: put nothing together. I just had to hear everything just
- 31:29Speaker 3: going whatever. No, So we do it like that. So
- 31:32Speaker 3: this year, I'm just gonna set everything up and uh,
- 31:35Speaker 3: they gonna have everything's gonna be ready to roll whatever.
- 31:37Speaker 2: You know. They ask for clothes, for sure, we got
- 31:40Speaker 2: a lot of clothes.
- 31:41Speaker 3: We got them in a lot of clothes, like I
- 31:42Speaker 3: want them boss to stay fresh. But when it comes
- 31:44Speaker 3: to like the toys and all that, we don't have
- 31:47Speaker 3: all that set up. Stuff start coming in. So yesterday
- 31:49Speaker 3: I got home, so ups deal with the boxes. So
- 31:53Speaker 3: I'm putting the boxes in the house. So Tristan be
- 31:55Speaker 3: like that, what are what are all those boxes? I said, oh,
- 32:00Speaker 3: I think that is for your mom, Like she ordered
- 32:02Speaker 3: some clothes for her to go to the game on Sunday.
- 32:04Speaker 3: You got to try to He's smart. So look, so
- 32:07Speaker 3: I go back outside. It was several boxes now, so
- 32:09Speaker 3: I go back inside. I was hoping when I go back.
- 32:12Speaker 3: When I went back outside, I was like, I hope
- 32:14Speaker 3: this little boy do not open these boxes while I'm
- 32:16Speaker 3: out here trying to get the I was like, oh,
- 32:19Speaker 3: he the one though, man, He's the one that I
- 32:21Speaker 3: don't have to worry about.
- 32:21Speaker 2: Like the middle child.
- 32:23Speaker 3: He's the one that I'm gonna have to worry about,
- 32:25Speaker 3: Like he's gonna be the child that don't have to
- 32:27Speaker 3: put the burglar boys on the window, cause he's gonna
- 32:28Speaker 3: be the one trying to sneak out the window.
- 32:30Speaker 2: Dude, stuff that him is supposed to be doing.
- 32:32Speaker 3: Oh for sure, for sure, I already know, like you
- 32:35Speaker 3: can tell when they personality, so which one is gonna
- 32:38Speaker 3: be doing what?
- 32:38Speaker 2: And he's the one.
- 32:39Speaker 3: So yeah, I definitely thought that he was gonna open
- 32:42Speaker 3: the boxes and see, no he didn't. He did. He
- 32:45Speaker 3: surprised me though, I'm telling he surprised me though. He
- 32:49Speaker 3: surprised me.
- 32:51Speaker 1: What doess White want for Christmas?
- 32:55Speaker 3: It's been a long time and I usually don't ask
- 32:58Speaker 3: for stuff for Christmas. This year, I'm going going out
- 33:01Speaker 3: on the limb.
- 33:02Speaker 2: Man.
- 33:02Speaker 3: I want a car. I want a car. It's an
- 33:04Speaker 3: old school car. It's one that I've been eying for years.
- 33:08Speaker 3: I'm pretty sure, like Buffalo, I know some of y'all uncles,
- 33:12Speaker 3: your great uncles, or your grandparents, like y'all can find
- 33:15Speaker 3: this for me.
- 33:15Speaker 2: I need it.
- 33:16Speaker 3: Nineteen eighty five Caprice Chevy. You probably don't know what
- 33:19Speaker 3: it is. It's a box Chevy, a four door. I
- 33:23Speaker 3: just need it original everything, original, original insize, original motor.
- 33:29Speaker 3: I want everything, original tires, white walls, no, no, no, no.
- 33:33Speaker 3: It can be painted, but I'm saying it could be
- 33:35Speaker 3: the original paint. I don't want a car that was
- 33:38Speaker 3: black and then they turned it blue.
- 33:40Speaker 2: No, I want the original color on that so I could. So.
- 33:42Speaker 3: Yeah, Bill's mafia, please help me find me a nineteen
- 33:46Speaker 3: eighty five Caprice box Chevy four door, specifically four door.
- 33:53Speaker 2: That's what I want. But am I gonna get it?
- 33:57Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 33:58Speaker 1: We're gonna put it out there in the universe.
- 34:00Speaker 2: They gonna help me find one.
- 34:02Speaker 3: A nice lot with low mileage on it, though, Like
- 34:04Speaker 3: I don't even you know, keep it under thirty thousand.
- 34:07Speaker 1: Wow, okay under thirty you're asking for a lot there,
- 34:11Speaker 1: thirty thousand.
- 34:12Speaker 2: Under thirty thousand, I don't know.
- 34:13Speaker 3: I feel like, honestly, if it's a if it's been
- 34:18Speaker 3: kept in great condition, for sure, under thirty thousand original
- 34:21Speaker 3: miles on it.
- 34:23Speaker 2: Come on, now, y'all, come find me.
- 34:26Speaker 3: I'm not a car, but this is one of the
- 34:28Speaker 3: like growing up like where I'm from, like in the
- 34:30Speaker 3: neighbor you know that.
- 34:32Speaker 2: Was the car.
- 34:33Speaker 1: That car.
- 34:34Speaker 3: Once you get you one of those, you know you're
- 34:37Speaker 3: doing something. You ride right, you ride nice, keep it
- 34:40Speaker 3: fish bowl too. You want you want people to see
- 34:42Speaker 3: you riding looking what no rims, nothing, just everything stopped.
- 34:47Speaker 3: Help me find this buffalo. That's what I want for Christmas,
- 34:50Speaker 3: besides all the you know, I want my family to
- 34:53Speaker 3: be together want you know, of course that's but.
- 34:56Speaker 2: Let me be selfish one time.
- 34:58Speaker 1: You can be selfish one time, one time, one time,
- 35:00Speaker 1: one time a year a couple of times. Well, I
- 35:04Speaker 1: haven't been having it around or would you just keep
- 35:06Speaker 1: it somewhere?
- 35:07Speaker 3: Oh no, I can't drive it here because of the snow.
- 35:09Speaker 3: It it'll mess, you know, mess up the bottom. You
- 35:12Speaker 3: drive it at home, Oh for sure, summertime, you know,
- 35:14Speaker 3: off season. You know the weather's nice, for sure. But
- 35:19Speaker 3: honestly I would drive it here though I would in the.
- 35:22Speaker 1: Spring and summer.
- 35:23Speaker 3: Yes, but I drive it. I probably drive it a
- 35:25Speaker 3: couple times in the snow. But I just got to
- 35:26Speaker 3: get the stuff on the bottom so it won't rot.
- 35:29Speaker 2: But it's an old school car.
- 35:30Speaker 3: I mean, it's reliable, it's still it's not one of
- 35:32Speaker 3: these cars that's made now with you know, you could
- 35:34Speaker 3: poke it and they have a little dent in it. No,
- 35:38Speaker 3: it's made of real steal, Like this is the real
- 35:40Speaker 3: original stuff. So madam, I'll let you drive it, you know,
- 35:44Speaker 3: let you drive.
- 35:45Speaker 1: It before you go to bad that night. Do you
- 35:46Speaker 1: look at pictures of this car?
- 35:48Speaker 2: Oh? For sure, I've been on I've been on craigs list.
- 35:50Speaker 3: I've been everywhere I google it trying to find like
- 35:52Speaker 3: where can I you know what I mean, where can
- 35:54Speaker 3: I get a good, reliable one?
- 35:55Speaker 2: For sure? You don't get a good and they're not
- 35:58Speaker 2: that crazy expensive.
- 36:00Speaker 3: Not to say that it's not a lot of Nah,
- 36:02Speaker 3: let me not say that because they people gonna be like, yeah,
- 36:04Speaker 3: there's a lot of money.
- 36:06Speaker 1: For an NFL player.
- 36:08Speaker 3: But this car is like you can get a good
- 36:10Speaker 3: one from like twenty into twhere between twenty.
- 36:13Speaker 2: And thirty thousand.
- 36:13Speaker 1: Okay, that's not too bad.
- 36:15Speaker 3: But a lot of people probably say like that's that
- 36:17Speaker 3: is a lot of money. But I'm just saying for
- 36:19Speaker 3: this car, for.
- 36:19Speaker 2: That specific car, that's a good that's a good price.
- 36:22Speaker 3: You can get a good one from around you know,
- 36:25Speaker 3: if you want to still, you know, take a leap
- 36:28Speaker 3: of faith.
- 36:28Speaker 2: You don't go down to about fifteen thousand. You can
- 36:30Speaker 2: get a nice one steal.
- 36:31Speaker 3: But I just feel like it's the one that's been
- 36:34Speaker 3: kept in the tip top condition. Probably tapped me out
- 36:37Speaker 3: about thirty thousand, all right, you know, I mean, you know, I.
- 36:42Speaker 1: Feel like I deserve you deserve a t I.
- 36:46Speaker 3: Feel like, you know, I'm gonna get i'mnna get it
- 36:48Speaker 3: if y'all help me out. I feel like Bill's mofe
- 36:50Speaker 3: gonna help me out. I know it's I see a
- 36:51Speaker 3: lot of old school around here, like original though. Yeah,
- 36:56Speaker 3: fish bowl and the person that I see driving, they
- 36:59Speaker 3: they from sixty to seventy to seventy nine, a sixty
- 37:05Speaker 3: to seventy nine, I'm telling you, and they taking great
- 37:08Speaker 3: care of the car.
- 37:09Speaker 2: Yeah, you could tell.
- 37:10Speaker 3: So if one of y'all great uncles, Grandpa's got one
- 37:14Speaker 3: of those run just just sitting around in the garage
- 37:16Speaker 3: that he not driving, come high landing up tray. Let's
- 37:20Speaker 3: make this is a serious inquiry, miracle, this is a
- 37:24Speaker 3: serious inquiry. I'm definitely gonna drop some money for serious
- 37:28Speaker 3: if I can find one of this.
- 37:29Speaker 1: All right, let's see if it happens.
- 37:31Speaker 3: Yeah, and I'm you know, what and if and if
- 37:34Speaker 3: it does happen, I'm gonna I'm gonna drive it through
- 37:37Speaker 3: the garage back there and'ma it's gonna be a guests
- 37:40Speaker 3: on the show.
- 37:40Speaker 2: It's gonna be guessing and talk it right there behind him.
- 37:43Speaker 3: What and you're gonna see Buffalo gonna see what they
- 37:45Speaker 3: did to help me out doing this holiday season?
- 37:48Speaker 1: Help out, Trydavius White. I love it, Trey. Thanks for
- 37:51Speaker 1: coming on and discussing Buffalo's big win against Cleveland, giving
- 37:54Speaker 1: us the dog of the week and talking a little
- 37:56Speaker 1: bit about Christmas and the holidays.
- 37:58Speaker 2: Holl Look, you always do this, though, she always do this.
- 38:03Speaker 2: Well is Christmas like with you?
- 38:06Speaker 1: I'll tell you, Okay, Okay, you know NFL life, right,
- 38:09Speaker 1: you know how it is. Let's see, we get a
- 38:13Speaker 1: day off, a couple days off. So I do this
- 38:16Speaker 1: every year. It's a quick trip back and forth between Chicago.
- 38:19Speaker 1: I stay here for Thanksgiving because it's too hard. But
- 38:22Speaker 1: for Christmas, I'm like, I'll go home, okay. So I
- 38:24Speaker 1: fly out on Christmas Eve or the night before, really late,
- 38:28Speaker 1: and then I fly back here on Christmas night. So
- 38:30Speaker 1: I'm home for like a day and a half.
- 38:33Speaker 2: That's great. Though, Yeah, it's amazing.
- 38:35Speaker 1: So many people are like, what that sounds awful. I'm like, no,
- 38:39Speaker 1: I'm home for Christmas, even Christmas. Yes, I do the
- 38:41Speaker 1: things with my family and I get back here for
- 38:43Speaker 1: practice on Friday.
- 38:44Speaker 2: What they want you to stay more than that, I
- 38:46Speaker 2: don't know.
- 38:47Speaker 1: They think I have like a two week break or something.
- 38:49Speaker 3: In the NFL, it's been fifteen it's been fifteen years,
- 38:56Speaker 3: thirteen years since I had a normal Christmas.
- 38:58Speaker 1: Yeah, it's just this is what you sign up for.
- 39:01Speaker 3: Last year, I had a football game on Christmas. So
- 39:03Speaker 3: it's just like I try to make the abnormal normal
- 39:07Speaker 3: for me.
- 39:08Speaker 1: Holidays are different in the league, and you just get
- 39:11Speaker 1: used to it and you're happy in Chicago.
- 39:14Speaker 2: I mean, but I know.
- 39:16Speaker 3: But I'm saying, like that's great though, Like so your
- 39:18Speaker 3: family always looking forward to, you know, seeing that's great.
- 39:22Speaker 3: I wish I could go home and see my grandma
- 39:24Speaker 3: for Christmas.
- 39:25Speaker 1: Like, has she ever been in Buffalo?
- 39:28Speaker 2: No?
- 39:28Speaker 3: Hold on, I don't know if my grandma ever came
- 39:31Speaker 3: to a game here. I don't know if she has. Nope,
- 39:40Speaker 3: I'm gonna say I'm gonna say no because I don't
- 39:42Speaker 3: know for sure. But I know I don't think she's
- 39:44Speaker 3: been to a game here. It's always game South, where
- 39:46Speaker 3: she just traveled to. But all my felm, they just
- 39:49Speaker 3: think coming here is they don't care if July.
- 39:53Speaker 1: They think it's cold.
- 39:54Speaker 2: They just think it's cold.
- 39:55Speaker 3: They honestly they think it's like the North Pole the
- 40:00Speaker 3: whole time is.
- 40:01Speaker 1: How do you live there? How do you be at
- 40:03Speaker 1: that plan?
- 40:03Speaker 2: My gird? Baby, I don't see. I don't see how
- 40:06Speaker 2: you be doing it.
- 40:07Speaker 1: You'll be seeing.
- 40:08Speaker 2: That's that's don't call. I was like, yeah, granted, Like
- 40:12Speaker 2: she's like, what about your hands and feet? Like grand
- 40:14Speaker 2: they got the heaters on the side. I just don't
- 40:16Speaker 2: know how you do it, like you don't be called.
- 40:20Speaker 3: I was like, yeah, I'm good, granted, like they they
- 40:22Speaker 3: do stuff to prevent us from Baby.
- 40:25Speaker 2: You're from Louis Annie. You know we don't play about
- 40:27Speaker 2: no cold weather.
- 40:28Speaker 3: This is her talking to me about Grandma. I swear
- 40:31Speaker 3: I'm good, Like I don't believe you. That's my grandma.
- 40:34Speaker 3: That's how she will talk to me. But no, she
- 40:37Speaker 3: hasn't been. But yeah, that's hard. I don't know that games.
- 40:42Speaker 2: Yeah, she been, she been to the Probo she been
- 40:47Speaker 2: for sure. Then she just she knows she she thinks
- 40:49Speaker 2: she is celebrity. Now.
- 40:50Speaker 3: She she was able to do an interview. Oh, talk
- 40:53Speaker 3: good about me and talk good about herself. So she
- 40:57Speaker 3: called herself an odd prog Grandma she is an all programmer.
- 41:00Speaker 1: H okay, I'll portray what all pro great grandma.
- 41:04Speaker 2: I mean grandma, not grandma, right, Grandma Rofference.
- 41:06Speaker 1: Grandma Ruffins, Yes, Graham Ruffins.
- 41:08Speaker 2: Sorry, she's she's great. She's great with that.
- 41:15Speaker 1: Happy holidays, Bill's Mafia. We hope you have a wonderful Christmas,
- 41:19Speaker 1: and we'll be back later next week. Next week, pencil
- 41:22Speaker 1: it in, come on,
