- 0:04Speaker 1: six forty.
- 0:10Speaker 2: It is time for Handle on the News with Amy
- 0:14Speaker 2: Neil Gold.
- 0:17Speaker 3: They do it all the time. Okay, guys here, you're
- 0:20Speaker 3: happy people.
- 0:21Speaker 4: I don't care.
- 0:22Speaker 2: If you keep on doing that, you are fired as
- 0:25Speaker 2: KFI listeners and you will be escorted out of the building.
- 0:29Speaker 2: Do you know what they call people who come up
- 0:31Speaker 2: this early in the morning for a broadcast?
- 0:33Speaker 4: They call them losers? Okay, and.
- 0:38Speaker 1: Present company excluded and now Handle on the news, ladies
- 0:43Speaker 1: and gentlemen, here's Bill Handle.
- 0:47Speaker 4: Good morning everybody. You'll handle here if you say Wednesday morning.
- 0:53Speaker 2: Home Day, December three, and that promo we just did,
- 0:59Speaker 2: who wakes up in the morning and comes to the show?
- 1:01Speaker 4: We call them losers.
- 1:02Speaker 2: Of course, I was making fun of the people that
- 1:04Speaker 2: were there, all one of them who showed up at
- 1:08Speaker 2: five o'clock in the morning, and it was it was
- 1:11Speaker 2: pretty gracious. As we left at nine o'clock. We're talking
- 1:15Speaker 2: about the Anaheim White House. As we left at nine
- 1:17Speaker 2: o'clock and Amy, how many people did we have there?
- 1:21Speaker 4: Starting maybe ten people, twenty people?
- 1:24Speaker 5: We had We had about fifteen or twenty at the start.
- 1:27Speaker 2: The Yeah, and by the time Gary and Shannon came aboard,
- 1:31Speaker 2: the line went out the door and all the way
- 1:33Speaker 2: down Anaheim Boulevard to try to get in. All right,
- 1:38Speaker 2: let me say hello, and then I got some really
- 1:40Speaker 2: good news to tell you about number one.
- 1:43Speaker 4: Hello kono? Wait what? Okay?
- 1:51Speaker 2: Yeah, well, yeah, I just decided I would give you
- 1:53Speaker 2: a little kudo this morning.
- 1:55Speaker 4: Thank you. That's right. Will Kochsriber, good morning, Good morning, Bill.
- 1:58Speaker 2: Handle see if I can see you exist. If I
- 2:01Speaker 2: cannot see you, you don't. If a tree falls in.
- 2:04Speaker 4: The woods and no one hears it, do you hear?
- 2:07Speaker 4: Is there a noise or whatever?
- 2:08Speaker 1: The hell?
- 2:09Speaker 4: That is all right?
- 2:10Speaker 2: And good morning?
- 2:12Speaker 3: Good morning.
- 2:13Speaker 4: Oh you're wearing the sleepless parka. Oh you must be cold.
- 2:17Speaker 2: Huh yeah, no, yes, they call it a vest. Okay,
- 2:22Speaker 2: fair enough. And there's Neil, good morning. What's going on?
- 2:29Speaker 4: Neil? Oh there you are. I can't hear you. Neil,
- 2:31Speaker 4: you don't have your mic on it.
- 2:32Speaker 1: I make myself invisible. Watch.
- 2:35Speaker 4: Yeah, that's what you did.
- 2:37Speaker 1: If he doesn't see you on the screen, you go away.
- 2:40Speaker 2: That's true. You would disappear. And of course Amy, so
- 2:44Speaker 2: we started yesterday morning. Amy started at five o'clock with
- 2:48Speaker 2: Will and then Neil and I came aboard at six,
- 2:50Speaker 2: which Will always do. And we are at the Anaheim
- 2:53Speaker 2: White House and we were raising money for Catarina's Club
- 2:56Speaker 2: and Amy already announced some of the figures absolutely extraordinary.
- 3:01Speaker 2: Last year we did one point three million dollars total.
- 3:04Speaker 2: Last set yesterday we did nine hundred and fifty five
- 3:07Speaker 2: thousand dollars. And that is before Wendy's kicks in, before
- 3:12Speaker 2: Smart and Final kicks in. Gives us the numbers before
- 3:17Speaker 2: a whole lot of our sponsors, corporate sponsors kick in,
- 3:22Speaker 2: and you because you're part of the corporate stuff and
- 3:26Speaker 2: that the kioska that I think was Michelle arranged where
- 3:29Speaker 2: you could donate all over the city and Yamava Casino
- 3:33Speaker 2: was part of that anyway, So we are going these
- 3:37Speaker 2: are numbers before all of that, nine hundred and fifty
- 3:40Speaker 2: five thousand dollars and ninety two thousand pounds of pasta
- 3:44Speaker 2: and sauce.
- 3:45Speaker 4: And last year we did one hundred thousands.
- 3:46Speaker 2: So we're we're not even finished yet now as far
- 3:50Speaker 2: as the bids for and this is going to make
- 3:52Speaker 2: us feel good.
- 3:53Speaker 4: As far as the bids for the various.
- 3:57Speaker 2: Auction items, coaching meeting with doctor wendy five hundred and
- 4:02Speaker 2: seventy five dollars. While that doesn't seem like a lot,
- 4:04Speaker 2: that's for an hour of shrinkiosity, and that is pretty
- 4:09Speaker 2: good money for a shrink to talk to you. Dodger
- 4:12Speaker 2: games with Dean, A Dodger game with Dean and Tina
- 4:15Speaker 2: went for thirty one hundred. With Gary and Shannon went
- 4:19Speaker 2: for four thousand. The co hosting with John Cobalt for
- 4:24Speaker 2: one hour on his show went for forty five hundred dollars.
- 4:27Speaker 2: And the barbecue that Neil and I are putting together,
- 4:32Speaker 2: the private barbecue which we're going to broadcast, went for
- 4:35Speaker 2: eleven thousand dollars. Now before don't apply, because we're not
- 4:40Speaker 2: finished yet with ours.
- 4:42Speaker 4: There is some negotiation, a.
- 4:45Speaker 2: Little bit going into a negotiation with the top two
- 4:48Speaker 2: because they were so close. It was a question of
- 4:51Speaker 2: who jumped in just before the auction ended. So we
- 4:56Speaker 2: may end up doing a little like a sort of
- 4:59Speaker 2: a spin around, which will expand the money we bring
- 5:03Speaker 2: in astronomically.
- 5:05Speaker 1: Did you hear that another donor who donated a lot
- 5:09Speaker 1: found out afterwards and said, I would really like to
- 5:12Speaker 1: be at that event.
- 5:14Speaker 4: Too, Yeah, and came in with just a ton of money.
- 5:18Speaker 2: So our number at eleven thousand dollars is not even
- 5:21Speaker 2: going to scratch the surface of what this show not.
- 5:26Speaker 2: You guys, Neil and I, Well, okay, you guys are
- 5:28Speaker 2: going to be there, are going to bring in So
- 5:32Speaker 2: that's kind of neat. And I'll tell you what really
- 5:35Speaker 2: did it is in light of the Dodger game and
- 5:40Speaker 2: with Gary and Shannon and Dean and Tina, two separate
- 5:44Speaker 2: Dodger games that people attend with those people. I texted
- 5:47Speaker 2: to Conway last night. I don't know if he announced
- 5:51Speaker 2: it that if you increase the bid, we are I
- 5:56Speaker 2: announced that not only are we having this private barbecue,
- 6:00Speaker 2: but the entire lineup of the Dodgers and the Chargers
- 6:04Speaker 2: will be there at our barbecue and you get to
- 6:06Speaker 2: meet everybody for both teams. Now, yeah, that's why we're
- 6:11Speaker 2: sort of negotiating right now. Now, in reality, we're probably
- 6:14Speaker 2: not going to have those two teams there, so there's
- 6:19Speaker 2: going to be a little bit of discussion as to
- 6:21Speaker 2: what's actually being well it's actually being produced in terms
- 6:25Speaker 2: of the show what we're offering.
- 6:27Speaker 4: So I think.
- 6:28Speaker 1: It's more likely that Gary Hoffman invites you as his
- 6:32Speaker 1: plus one to his Dodger game, and yeah, coming to.
- 6:36Speaker 4: You probably that's true.
- 6:37Speaker 2: So anyway, we are that because stuff like that is
- 6:41Speaker 2: going on, and of course it's all about raising money
- 6:44Speaker 2: for Katarina's Club. Our our event may raise just insane
- 6:50Speaker 2: amounts of dollars, but that's a little unfair because the
- 6:55Speaker 2: other hosts are producing what they normally do, you know,
- 6:59Speaker 2: every year, which is great stuff, and they raise a
- 7:00Speaker 2: pile of money. What we're doing is something totally different,
- 7:04Speaker 2: and that is the private invitation or an invitation to
- 7:07Speaker 2: our private barbecue. That about twenty people are going to
- 7:10Speaker 2: be there and that's it. You know, friends, family, you guys,
- 7:13Speaker 2: Morning crew and pretty much that's it. So we're going
- 7:17Speaker 2: to show a lot of love to those people that
- 7:19Speaker 2: do show up.
- 7:20Speaker 1: Well, I don't say it like that. There's already been
- 7:22Speaker 1: talk of us being swingers.
- 7:24Speaker 2: That was the other one. Yes show by the way,
- 7:26Speaker 2: it may not happen. By the way, it may not happen.
- 7:29Speaker 2: It may not happen. We need permission of a few people,
- 7:32Speaker 2: you know, the top bidder and a few other people.
- 7:33Speaker 2: We have to ask swing no to swing. You don't
- 7:37Speaker 2: need permission to that you do need. I think this
- 7:41Speaker 2: is what the discussion. Could you go to the top
- 7:43Speaker 2: bitter saying, hey, do you mind if so? Anyway, I
- 7:45Speaker 2: just want a little inside baseball. Oh no, a little
- 7:48Speaker 2: inside baseball with Dean and Tina and Gary and Shannon.
- 7:51Speaker 2: That's inside baseball, all right, I think we start anyway.
- 7:57Speaker 4: Congratulations and thank you everybody.
- 7:58Speaker 2: Thank you all, because it does not happen without you,
- 8:02Speaker 2: it really doesn't. I mean, if it was just the
- 8:05Speaker 2: morning crew and the people that work here, they would
- 8:09Speaker 2: raise probably a total of eighty dollars because you know,
- 8:15Speaker 2: we work here at iHeart and generous, generous hearts of gold,
- 8:20Speaker 2: all of us have. All right, you ready to do it?
- 8:22Speaker 4: Guys? Are you ready to do it? Gone?
- 8:28Speaker 1: Thank you?
- 8:29Speaker 2: Thank you?
- 8:30Speaker 4: And Michelle. You can't talk to Michelle today.
- 8:33Speaker 2: She took a day off, which she normally does because
- 8:35Speaker 2: yesterday was only an eighteen hour day for her. So
- 8:38Speaker 2: and Michelle puts it all together, so it just without her,
- 8:42Speaker 2: it couldn't happen either. All Right, it's time for Handle
- 8:44Speaker 2: on the News with Amy neil me Elite. Sorry we're
- 8:52Speaker 2: doing this at seven o'clock, but the city of San
- 8:55Speaker 2: Francisco is suing Coca Cola, Kellogg, and a bunch of
- 8:59Speaker 2: other major food companies, saying it's exactly the same lawsuit
- 9:05Speaker 2: as against Big tobacco. You know what ultra processed food
- 9:09Speaker 2: does to people, You know how dangerous it is, and
- 9:13Speaker 2: you market this stuff and tell people, particularly parents, this
- 9:18Speaker 2: is healthy for your kids. And now the lawsuit starts
- 9:23Speaker 2: big time, and we'll talk more about that at seven o'clock.
- 9:27Speaker 5: Snaps under attach, the Trump administration says is gonna pull
- 9:31Speaker 5: SNAP funding in mostly Democratic controlled states starting next week
- 9:36Speaker 5: unless they provide information about the people who are receiving
- 9:39Speaker 5: the assistance. Agriculture Secretary Brooke Rawlins says the action is
- 9:44Speaker 5: in the works because those states are refusing to provide
- 9:47Speaker 5: the data requested, like names and immigration status of the
- 9:51Speaker 5: people who are getting the SNAP benefits. She says cooperation
- 9:54Speaker 5: is necessary to root out fraud in the program. Five
- 9:58Speaker 5: million people in California ge to SNAP through CalFresh.
- 10:02Speaker 2: I'm wondering how many Republican states are not reporting only
- 10:07Speaker 2: the Democratic states. I don't even know what democratic led
- 10:12Speaker 2: states are. What if your governor is a Democrat and
- 10:15Speaker 2: the legislature is Republican? What is you know who leads,
- 10:22Speaker 2: So I don't know that answer, but.
- 10:24Speaker 1: I do know they measure by homeless and human feces
- 10:28Speaker 1: on the street.
- 10:28Speaker 4: Yeah, they probably do.
- 10:30Speaker 2: But I'm proud to say that every single Republican state
- 10:35Speaker 2: in this country is a big, beautiful state, and the
- 10:38Speaker 2: Democratic states are not.
- 10:41Speaker 4: They are the worst of the worst.
- 10:43Speaker 1: Maybe they do it via MRI.
- 10:45Speaker 4: Yeah, Michel, it's okay.
- 10:49Speaker 2: We've got a few more to go on. Stuff like
- 10:51Speaker 2: this as going on. But we'll see what happens this
- 10:53Speaker 2: week with crazy Talk, all right.
- 10:55Speaker 1: Luigi Mangioni, twenty seven year old man accused of fatally
- 11:00Speaker 1: shooting the United Healthcare CEO Brian Thompson again was in
- 11:05Speaker 1: on Monday. Then he was in yesterday for the second
- 11:08Speaker 1: day of pre trial hearings in the New York State
- 11:11Speaker 1: murder case. A lot of interesting facts coming out about
- 11:14Speaker 1: all of this. Of course, he was wearing his suit
- 11:17Speaker 1: jacket and dress shirt, no handcuffs when he took the
- 11:20Speaker 1: stand or when he took a seat there in the
- 11:22Speaker 1: devent's table. But so we talked a little bit about
- 11:26Speaker 1: this yesterday. Among the items that were seized in his
- 11:29Speaker 1: backpack were the three D printed handgunnis silencer in a
- 11:34Speaker 1: notebook with handwritten entries. Prosecutors called these entries a manifesto
- 11:40Speaker 1: of sorts. One of the entries was leaked to the media.
- 11:43Speaker 1: If you remember, he allegedly wrote that parasites who run
- 11:47Speaker 1: healthcare companies simply had it coming. And they're going back
- 11:52Speaker 1: and forth on whether this is to be used as evidence,
- 11:58Speaker 1: even though it is obviously evidence. But also when he
- 12:02Speaker 1: was found at that McDonald's, famously apparently he wasn't read
- 12:07Speaker 1: his miranda rights or at least exactly.
- 12:09Speaker 2: That is the issue, and this is a motion to
- 12:13Speaker 2: determine whether the evidence they have is admissible or not.
- 12:17Speaker 2: For example, if the court rules that the search of
- 12:21Speaker 2: the backpack was done contrary to the law, they should
- 12:26Speaker 2: have had a warrant to go into the backpack. If
- 12:29Speaker 2: the court rules that that search is no good, everything
- 12:32Speaker 2: in that pack pack disappears as far as evidence. Everything
- 12:35Speaker 2: it's gone, as far as what he said to the cops,
- 12:39Speaker 2: because there were some statements that were made, and keep
- 12:41Speaker 2: in mind that manifesto quote was found in the backpack,
- 12:45Speaker 2: so all that disappears. Also, what did he say prior
- 12:48Speaker 2: to his miranda warnings? That also is in question. So
- 12:53Speaker 2: this case goes from assuming that that goes his way,
- 12:58Speaker 2: it goes from an air tight there's no chance he
- 13:01Speaker 2: could ever be acquitted to you know, there's not a
- 13:05Speaker 2: whole lot of evidence that's going to be introduced, or
- 13:06Speaker 2: at least his airtight evidence is not going to be introduced.
- 13:09Speaker 4: We'll see what the court has to say on this one.
- 13:11Speaker 5: Can't the police officer, though, saying that he went into
- 13:15Speaker 5: the backpack because he was threatened or felt threatened, that
- 13:19Speaker 5: he was worried he might have a gun.
- 13:20Speaker 3: How do you get a warrant for that?
- 13:22Speaker 2: Well, you know, those are exitgen circumstances that the police
- 13:26Speaker 2: officer is going to do. Now part of the motion
- 13:28Speaker 2: is if the backpack is, if it's not on his person,
- 13:32Speaker 2: if he's not reaching in it, if it's six feet away,
- 13:36Speaker 2: if it's in a place where it was not a
- 13:40Speaker 2: threat at all.
- 13:42Speaker 4: Now the court is going it was not a threat
- 13:45Speaker 4: at all.
- 13:45Speaker 2: So you can't argue exitgen circumstance where you could just
- 13:49Speaker 2: dive into the backpack.
- 13:51Speaker 4: You just can't do it. So that's the issue at stake.
- 13:56Speaker 5: Okay, all right, Russia may be ready to take on
- 14:00Speaker 5: the world. So President Vladimir Putin had a few comments
- 14:06Speaker 5: before sitting down with US Special Envoy Steve Whitkoff and
- 14:11Speaker 5: President Trump's son in law, Jared Kushnar, basically doubling down
- 14:16Speaker 5: saying Europe is messing up everything and saying Russia is
- 14:21Speaker 5: ready for war with the continent. And then he sat
- 14:24Speaker 5: down for five hours and talked with Witkoff and Kushner
- 14:27Speaker 5: about how to figure out.
- 14:30Speaker 3: How to stop the war with Ukraine.
- 14:32Speaker 2: Yeah, it's not going to stop until Putin gives something up,
- 14:37Speaker 2: and that is he wants all the land. That's a prerequisite.
- 14:40Speaker 2: He wants the land. Ukraine never joins NATO. He wants
- 14:44Speaker 2: an army. The standing army drops by thirty percent, and
- 14:48Speaker 2: those are the terms. And he's just not moving And
- 14:51Speaker 2: as far as ready to go to war, he's in
- 14:54Speaker 2: no position to go to war with.
- 14:56Speaker 4: The continent with the armies of NATO.
- 14:59Speaker 2: The only thing he's going for him himself is a
- 15:03Speaker 2: nuclear the nuclear weaponry. And is he actually going to
- 15:06Speaker 2: use that because at that point what ends up happening, Well, Moscow,
- 15:12Speaker 2: Saint Petersburg become parking lots. They won't use strategic weapons,
- 15:16Speaker 2: they'll use tactical weapons. In the battlefield small small grade
- 15:20Speaker 2: nuclear weapons. But you know, once you cross that line,
- 15:24Speaker 2: it gets a little bit dicey.
- 15:26Speaker 1: All right again, news paying off today. We talked about
- 15:31Speaker 1: this yesterday a little bit. The Matt Van Epps, he's
- 15:37Speaker 1: the Republican former state official and Army veteran, won the
- 15:41Speaker 1: special election for the House on Tuesday in Tennessee. This
- 15:46Speaker 1: was neck and neck, surprisingly, very very close race with
- 15:50Speaker 1: the Democratic challenger. This was the victory over Afton. Is
- 15:57Speaker 1: it behen Bain Bain? Yeah, well, I will tell you
- 16:01Speaker 1: that Afton Bain complained even more about the hatred of
- 16:07Speaker 1: Tennessee apparently afterwards.
- 16:09Speaker 4: And I want to point something out.
- 16:10Speaker 2: This is what I've been saying is in his speech
- 16:15Speaker 2: EPP's tolls supporters at that ballroom in Nashville. He said,
- 16:24Speaker 2: it's not all it's it's not about me representing you.
- 16:28Speaker 2: He pushed very hard. And here is a comment tonight.
- 16:32Speaker 2: You've sent the message loud and clear. The people of
- 16:35Speaker 2: Middle Tennessee stand with President Donald J.
- 16:38Speaker 4: Trump.
- 16:40Speaker 2: That's what it's about. That's what these elections are about.
- 16:44Speaker 2: And that's the part that absolutely derides me. But can
- 16:47Speaker 2: you say that when it was such a close race.
- 16:50Speaker 4: Sure you can.
- 16:51Speaker 2: Oh, isn't that close it It wasn't that close. It
- 16:53Speaker 2: wasn't that close. It was, but it should have been.
- 16:55Speaker 2: Last time around, it was twenty two points difference Trump.
- 17:00Speaker 4: Yeah, twenty two points.
- 17:01Speaker 1: I mean that's but that's my point, that there is
- 17:03Speaker 1: a shift at all in.
- 17:05Speaker 4: A very word, No, no, no, it is no, it
- 17:07Speaker 4: is shift. No, there's no question it is shifting.
- 17:09Speaker 2: And maybe it's not all about President Trump, every election,
- 17:15Speaker 2: every position, every point, Michael Mike Johnson, the Speaker of
- 17:19Speaker 2: the House, Maybe it's not about I am here simply
- 17:23Speaker 2: to forward Trump's election. It's Trump's agenda and nothing else.
- 17:27Speaker 2: That's what the speaker is here for. Come on, guys,
- 17:31Speaker 2: does that ever stop? I mean, I got even the
- 17:34Speaker 2: Republican members of Congress at that point, you go, hey, guys,
- 17:38Speaker 2: do you think you do this on your own?
- 17:40Speaker 4: Is there anything you can do? Anyway? You can tell it?
- 17:46Speaker 2: You know, I'm not unhappy about a conservative winning. I'm
- 17:49Speaker 2: fine with a conservative winning. I really am, because that's
- 17:52Speaker 2: the way Americans vote liberal, conservative, Republican, Democrat. I'm just
- 17:57Speaker 2: a little bit upset about obviously upset about what politics
- 18:00Speaker 2: are today.
- 18:01Speaker 1: Oh man, I couldn't imagine working with somebody or for
- 18:04Speaker 1: somebody that it's all about them all the time, no
- 18:07Speaker 1: matter what you do. It's like, hey, like, let's say
- 18:11Speaker 1: they had apastathon and they raised.
- 18:13Speaker 4: It was only here's the difference.
- 18:16Speaker 2: Here's the difference would be here is the difference because
- 18:20Speaker 2: you guys, unfortunately, do not say on a regular basis
- 18:25Speaker 2: five times per hour, this is about Bill handle.
- 18:29Speaker 4: This is not about us.
- 18:30Speaker 2: This is not about news, This is not about topics,
- 18:33Speaker 2: this is not about weather, talk about the show. It
- 18:35Speaker 2: is not about traffic. It is about Bill. That's all
- 18:39Speaker 2: we care about. And by the way, you have to
- 18:42Speaker 2: do that. Let me tell you, I'm going to be
- 18:44Speaker 2: there next time you guys negotiate whatever deal you're making
- 18:47Speaker 2: with the iHeart, I'm going to be in the room
- 18:49Speaker 2: because we're going.
- 18:49Speaker 4: To change that.
- 18:50Speaker 1: You trumped me again, sir.
- 18:52Speaker 4: There you go.
- 18:54Speaker 3: Well, then Bill, you're gonna love this story.
- 18:56Speaker 4: Gov.
- 18:57Speaker 5: Gav taken a little jab at President and tromp Youno.
- 19:00Speaker 5: He released the MRI results that everybody had been clamoring for.
- 19:05Speaker 5: He had the test done, I believe in October everybody said,
- 19:08Speaker 5: why do you get an MRI?
- 19:09Speaker 3: What's up?
- 19:10Speaker 5: Well, they released the results, they said he's fine, and
- 19:14Speaker 5: then Governor Newsom put out a memo addressed to the
- 19:18Speaker 5: media and said that from the California Department of Peak Excellence,
- 19:23Speaker 5: advanced imaging was conducted on Newsom's cardiovascular, musculoskeletal, and neurological health,
- 19:30Speaker 5: and I'm pleased to report that nothing about the Governor's
- 19:33Speaker 5: health is merely normal. The memo reads, Governor Newsom remains
- 19:36Speaker 5: the healthiest human currently alive or recorded in medical history,
- 19:41Speaker 5: and also says that Newsom's arteries are described as shimmering
- 19:45Speaker 5: and his resting heart rate is so steady the EKG
- 19:49Speaker 5: machine asked if he was meditating or just naturally enlightened.
- 19:53Speaker 2: See, I love this stuff, right, got it? Because this
- 19:56Speaker 2: is because this isn't about politics. This isn't about policy,
- 20:01Speaker 2: it's not about where America is going. It's just about
- 20:05Speaker 2: fun stuff being thrown out there, fun stuff being responded to.
- 20:10Speaker 2: This this brings politics to where it should be in
- 20:13Speaker 2: many cases, entertainment, and.
- 20:15Speaker 4: We've lost that.
- 20:16Speaker 2: Because a lot of politics is entertainment stuff.
- 20:19Speaker 1: Guys, Gavin Newsom's an absolute blow hard and completely ineffectual. However,
- 20:26Speaker 1: it's funny. It is and I don't think it's political. Yes,
- 20:29Speaker 1: it's political because they're on opposite ends. But this is
- 20:32Speaker 1: poking fun of the person Donald Trump, which exactly is
- 20:36Speaker 1: absolutely legitimate.
- 20:37Speaker 5: It's sort of like Gavin Newsom is Trump's own personal onion,
- 20:41Speaker 5: you know, the newspaper the.
- 20:44Speaker 4: Yes, absolutely, yeah, yeah, And this is.
- 20:48Speaker 1: Making just reflecting silliness.
- 20:50Speaker 2: Of Yeah, that's basically it that it does reflect the
- 20:53Speaker 2: silliness of what's going on. Silliness is fun to deal with.
- 20:57Speaker 2: It's the policy stuff that is more different. This actually
- 21:01Speaker 2: took place.
- 21:02Speaker 1: Oh gosh, about a molotov cocktails throw from where I lived.
- 21:07Speaker 1: Federal prosecutors said they're charging a Korea town man with
- 21:12Speaker 1: throwing Oh would you look at that? A molotov cocktail
- 21:15Speaker 1: at security offices just outside of downtown Los Angeles federal building.
- 21:20Speaker 1: This attack seems to be targeting immigration officials and the
- 21:26Speaker 1: headquarter there. But prosecutors are charging this man with attempted
- 21:30Speaker 1: malicious damage of a federal property, and investigat's saying that
- 21:35Speaker 1: he told them it was a terrorist attack. Probably not
- 21:38Speaker 1: what you want to lead with, Yeah, I guess.
- 21:41Speaker 4: And I don't know.
- 21:42Speaker 2: I don't know if that's going to really fly because
- 21:44Speaker 2: he's kind of crazy, he said his apartment. He confessed
- 21:48Speaker 2: to having set that on fire a few hours before
- 21:52Speaker 2: after receiving an eviction notice.
- 21:53Speaker 4: I'll show you. You want to vic me. You want
- 21:57Speaker 4: to re rent this place, let me tell you you're
- 21:58Speaker 4: not gonna have much to re rent.
- 21:59Speaker 1: And so he threw the ball atof cocktail at the
- 22:03Speaker 1: ice machine at his apartment and then figured that's probably
- 22:06Speaker 1: not the right one.
- 22:08Speaker 4: Okay, ice agents news.
- 22:10Speaker 3: It could be much ado about nothing.
- 22:11Speaker 5: Actually, La County supervisors have given preliminary approval to an
- 22:17Speaker 5: ordinance that ban's law enforcement, including immigration enforcement agents, from
- 22:22Speaker 5: wearing masks. They would also be required to wear identification
- 22:26Speaker 5: and make clear their agency affiliation during operations.
- 22:31Speaker 3: Yeah, good luck federal law. Trump's local law.
- 22:33Speaker 5: Legal experts say federal immigration agents would not be required
- 22:37Speaker 5: to follow a county mask ban, but Supervisor Janis Hahn,
- 22:42Speaker 5: who's behind the ordinance, says, if this leads to a
- 22:45Speaker 5: fight with the federal government in the courts, I think
- 22:47Speaker 5: it's a fight worth having.
- 22:49Speaker 4: And she's going to lose.
- 22:51Speaker 2: All you have to do is smile and say supremacy
- 22:54Speaker 2: Clause of the Constitution.
- 22:55Speaker 1: Conversation over, Yeah, It's going to be a problem though.
- 22:59Speaker 1: What if they say that the mask is for COVID.
- 23:03Speaker 4: It doesn't matter. The federal government, federal government, they can.
- 23:07Speaker 1: Force us to wear masks on one bat.
- 23:09Speaker 2: Well, yeah they can, Yeah, they can mandate, they can. Man, Yeah,
- 23:11Speaker 2: there's an issue of that issue.
- 23:14Speaker 4: You know what, there's a.
- 23:15Speaker 2: Cop of personal. No, no personal, that's a constitutional issue.
- 23:22Speaker 2: Cats are dogs, Okay, moving on, all right.
- 23:27Speaker 1: Doctor Eric Cordis a sad story. He is the doctor
- 23:32Speaker 1: that he and his wife Vicki, were found dead multiple
- 23:36Speaker 1: gunshot wounds inside the open garage of their home on Sunday,
- 23:40Speaker 1: November thirtieth. Horrible situation. The only thing that makes it
- 23:45Speaker 1: more horrible is that the witnesses that told the Simi
- 23:49Speaker 1: Valley police the shooter, described as a white man in
- 23:52Speaker 1: his thirties, fled in a black Sedan out of state plates. Well,
- 23:56Speaker 1: the the law enforcement and detectives used the flock camera
- 24:01Speaker 1: system around town and identified the vehicle of interest leaving
- 24:05Speaker 1: Simi Valley, later captured on those LPR cameras traveling southbound
- 24:10Speaker 1: on the two ten freeway registered to Eric Cordis. And
- 24:15Speaker 1: that's that's Eric Cordis's son, Rather and Vicky's step son,
- 24:21Speaker 1: Keith cordis of Kentucky and he was found dead in
- 24:25Speaker 1: a burned out car with a gunshot wound.
- 24:27Speaker 2: Now, for those of you that a issue or a
- 24:31Speaker 2: big deal about privacy and the government should not know
- 24:33Speaker 2: about any of this, it's kind of nice that they
- 24:35Speaker 2: can track down these cockroaches, all right, at least.
- 24:39Speaker 4: I think so one more amy, I think.
- 24:44Speaker 5: Glucose monitors could be linked to deaths and injuries. Malfunctioning
- 24:51Speaker 5: gluecoast trackers made by Abbott Diabetes carabin linked to more
- 24:55Speaker 5: than seven hundred severe adverse events, as they call it,
- 24:59Speaker 5: and maybe even seven people dying. The FDA issued a statement,
- 25:04Speaker 5: or the FDA said that. Then the medical device maker
- 25:07Speaker 5: issued a statement and said it had initiated a medical
- 25:11Speaker 5: device correction for certain free Style Libra three and Freestyle
- 25:16Speaker 5: Libra three plus sensors.
- 25:19Speaker 2: Yeah showing free yeah, free incorrect low glucose readings. And
- 25:28Speaker 2: so I just se seven deaths because of low glucose
- 25:32Speaker 2: and the recording on him we're God or God, We're God.
- 25:36Speaker 3: Wait, so what is it?
- 25:37Speaker 1: What is it?
- 25:38Speaker 5: If it does it says you have low glucose, but
- 25:41Speaker 5: you don't, do you get it yourself an insulin shot
- 25:43Speaker 5: and then that can kill you because you have too much.
- 25:46Speaker 2: Yeah, that too, from what I understand, if you have
- 25:49Speaker 2: low and you don't put in glucose, that's why everybody
- 25:53Speaker 2: it takes candy with them or a little box of
- 25:55Speaker 2: orange juice or whatever, or they used to. Now there's
- 25:59Speaker 2: technology there, but this one just says, from what this
- 26:02Speaker 2: story is out of USA today, that it's a low
- 26:06Speaker 2: glucose when it isn't. And so our god, our god,
- 26:13Speaker 2: our god, the recording that comes out, all right, I
- 26:16Speaker 2: think we're gone.
- 26:17Speaker 4: Guys.
- 26:18Speaker 1: The new Trump Glucose says you're the most fabulous glue
- 26:22Speaker 1: coast level, the best.
- 26:23Speaker 3: Glue close level ever.
- 26:25Speaker 1: Right, well, you're not going to read this next story.
- 26:29Speaker 1: You're really gonna get okay, all right.
- 26:31Speaker 2: Drunk raccoon Okay, drunk raccoon in a Virginia liquor store
- 26:34Speaker 2: breaks in, uh goes Yeah, breaks bottles and drinks the
- 26:39Speaker 2: alcohol in the bottom drawer of the bottom shelf and
- 26:42Speaker 2: passes out dlunk.
- 26:45Speaker 4: Yeah you see the picture. Yeah there he is down toilet, yes, played.
