- 0:00Speaker 1: And it's time right now for today's word. Hold your
- 0:06Speaker 1: ground in the dry season, Hold your ground in the
- 0:11Speaker 1: dry season. Psalms twenty seven thirteen says, I remain confident
- 0:16Speaker 1: of this. I will see the goodness of the Lord
- 0:19Speaker 1: in the land of the living. You know, there are
- 0:22Speaker 1: moments in life when the dream God placed in your
- 0:25Speaker 1: heart feels like it's drifting farther away instead and coming closer.
- 0:30Speaker 1: You pray, you believe, you do what's right, and yet
- 0:33Speaker 1: nothing seems to change. That's what makes Psalms. Twenty seven
- 0:36Speaker 1: thirteen so powerful. David says, I remain confident. Not confident
- 0:41Speaker 1: because everything looked good, not confident because the timing made
- 0:46Speaker 1: since but confident in spite of the dry season around him.
- 0:51Speaker 1: Joseph understood this kind of confidence. God gave him a
- 0:55Speaker 1: dream of leadership, influence, and purpose. The seed of greatness
- 0:59Speaker 1: was and it deep inside of him. But what followed
- 1:03Speaker 1: didn't look.
- 1:04Speaker 2: Anything like the promise.
- 1:06Speaker 1: He was betrayed by his brothers, He was sold into slavery,
- 1:10Speaker 1: he was falsely accused and thrown into prison.
- 1:13Speaker 2: Thirteen years past.
- 1:15Speaker 1: Years of disappointment, years of waiting, years where the dream
- 1:19Speaker 1: looked completely impossible, Joseph could have allowed bitterness to take root.
- 1:25Speaker 2: He could have.
- 1:25Speaker 1: Concluded that God had forgotten him, But instead, he held
- 1:28Speaker 1: his ground. He stayed confident in God's character even when
- 1:32Speaker 1: he couldn't understand God's timing. And because he stayed faithful
- 1:36Speaker 1: in the dry season, God positioned him for an unprecedented breakthrough.
- 1:42Speaker 1: And one single day, one morning, Joseph went from prisoner
- 1:45Speaker 1: to prime minister. See that's how quickly God can turn
- 1:48Speaker 1: things around for you. Maybe today you're in your own long,
- 1:54Speaker 1: difficult season. You're believing for healing, but the symptoms haven't changed.
- 1:58Speaker 1: You're praying over your children, but you haven't seen the
- 2:01Speaker 1: shift yet. You're working hard, but the promotion seems delayed.
- 2:06Speaker 1: The enemy loves to whisper It's never gonna happen. God
- 2:10Speaker 1: forgot about you. Just settle where you are. But I
- 2:12Speaker 1: want you to hear this, and hear it clearly. Your
- 2:15Speaker 1: dry season is not a dead season. God is still
- 2:19Speaker 1: working behind the scenes. He's still arranging connections, aligning opportunities,
- 2:24Speaker 1: and preparing you for your next level. One touch of
- 2:27Speaker 1: his favor can launch you into a place you could
- 2:30Speaker 1: never have gotten on your own. So don't you lose
- 2:33Speaker 1: your confidence now, No, no, no, don't you give up
- 2:36Speaker 1: right before your breakthrough. You keep honoring God, you keep
- 2:40Speaker 1: being faithful, You keep your heart right when it's the
- 2:44Speaker 1: right time, when you're prepared, and when the promises will
- 2:49Speaker 1: bring home or God the best glory. God's gonna unveil
- 2:55Speaker 1: what he's been doing all along, behind the scenes, and Joseph,
- 3:01Speaker 1: you'll look back and you'll say, I.
- 3:02Speaker 2: Didn't see it at the time, but God was directing
- 3:06Speaker 2: every step.
- 3:07Speaker 1: So you hold your ground in the dry season because
- 3:09Speaker 1: goodness is coming to meet you in the land or
- 3:12Speaker 1: the living.
- 3:12Speaker 2: Come.
- 3:13Speaker 1: Oh Jesus Father, thank you that you are our deliverer,
- 3:17Speaker 1: You're our vindicator when negative things come against us. Thank
- 3:20Speaker 1: you that we can remain confident in knowing that you
- 3:23Speaker 1: are faithful and that you never forget the promises that
- 3:26Speaker 1: you've made.
- 3:27Speaker 2: Help us to stay strong, Help us to.
- 3:29Speaker 1: Stay faithful and stay expected even in the dry seasons. God,
- 3:33Speaker 1: we believe we will see your goodness in our lives.
- 3:36Speaker 2: In Jesus' name.

- 3:40Speaker 1: to your everyday life, and you continue to be encouraged
