- 0:00Speaker 1: So Festus is back.
- 0:02Speaker 2: Yeah, you're your sailor son.
- 0:03Speaker 3: My sailor son has a little break before he ships out,
- 0:08Speaker 3: and he had to move from San Diego.
- 0:12Speaker 1: And I've talked about this before.
- 0:14Speaker 3: A lot of the stuff goes into storage because he
- 0:16Speaker 3: doesn't need any furniture or anything. He can take some
- 0:19Speaker 3: stuff to the island, but not much.
- 0:22Speaker 2: Like what A.
- 0:24Speaker 1: Like clothes, like like photos.
- 0:28Speaker 2: How about his guitar.
- 0:29Speaker 3: Well, so he's gonna take a one guitar. It's gonna
- 0:33Speaker 3: take his acoustic guitar because he's on an island.
- 0:36Speaker 4: So yeah, and and he'll want to sit on the
- 0:39Speaker 4: beach and serenade the sailor boys.
- 0:42Speaker 3: And also I haven't talked to him him about this
- 0:45Speaker 3: or too bad Brad Wheeler about this, But Daddy Gary
- 0:50Speaker 3: had an idea that Festus should take up the harmonica
- 0:54Speaker 3: because it's because it's small and he can take So
- 0:58Speaker 3: I had an idea that, And I know Brad's out
- 1:01Speaker 3: of town right now, but when he gets back, I'm going.
- 1:03Speaker 1: To see if maybe one day.
- 1:05Speaker 3: Next week we can have Brad come in here with
- 1:09Speaker 3: Festus and give him a harmonica lesson.
- 1:13Speaker 1: So sure, I think.
- 1:15Speaker 3: That would be because Brad Brad's famous for that, for
- 1:18Speaker 3: for getting people hooked on the harmonica.
- 1:20Speaker 1: So we're going to see if he'll do that. So
- 1:22Speaker 1: are are you going to buy him harmonica? I think
- 1:26Speaker 1: with Brad's.
- 1:27Speaker 3: Yeah, I want him to Brad, whatever one you want
- 1:30Speaker 3: to get, we'll get him there.
- 1:32Speaker 1: But so there's that horner Okay.
- 1:35Speaker 3: So h so so some of the things he drove
- 1:38Speaker 3: back to store at our house while he's gone, another guitar,
- 1:44Speaker 3: his guns, he can't take those.
- 1:47Speaker 2: Oh darn.
- 1:50Speaker 4: And you never know when you might have to defend
- 1:52Speaker 4: yourself against a coconut crab.
- 1:55Speaker 3: And uh, yesterday I had a package which was perfume
- 2:02Speaker 3: that I ordered for myself, and I was standing in
- 2:04Speaker 3: the kitchen and I opened the box and Festus was like,
- 2:08Speaker 3: oh are we talking?
- 2:09Speaker 1: Are we talking cologne and perfume?
- 2:14Speaker 3: Apparently my son has twenty six bottles of cologne that
- 2:21Speaker 3: he uses for different occasions.
- 2:25Speaker 2: And oh, this one will be just perfect for that
- 2:27Speaker 2: late night dinner.
- 2:28Speaker 3: Exactly, and so so, so he brought home guns, guitars,
- 2:35Speaker 3: and twenty six bottles of cologne because he said, I
- 2:38Speaker 3: didn't want to ship those because what if they break.
- 2:41Speaker 1: And shit and everything smells like it. So I'm going
- 2:44Speaker 1: to be stored.
- 2:45Speaker 3: If you go to X ninety six dot com slash live,
- 2:47Speaker 3: this is just a small sample of.
- 2:51Speaker 2: He just started bringing it, and that's hundreds of dollars
- 2:53Speaker 2: worth of.
- 2:54Speaker 1: Cologne he just started bringing out.
- 2:56Speaker 5: Cool.
- 2:57Speaker 2: Wo No.
- 2:58Speaker 3: But the funny thing is Mohammed, my other son, not
- 3:03Speaker 3: the prophet, also is very into cologne.
- 3:07Speaker 4: You know. Actually I've heard that Mohammad the Prophet was
- 3:09Speaker 4: also into cologne.
- 3:10Speaker 3: Yeah, and they start having and they're comparing, Oh have
- 3:15Speaker 3: you tried to have Yeah, in my kitchen counter, we
- 3:19Speaker 3: had colognees.
- 3:21Speaker 4: You so you you you have fostered given birth to
- 3:27Speaker 4: two cologne addicts. I get which they go around and everybody,
- 3:33Speaker 4: anybody they passed or anybody they spend any time within
- 3:37Speaker 4: a room with her.
- 3:37Speaker 2: Jeez, I wish those guys wouldn't wear so much cologne.
- 3:40Speaker 3: No, just because you wear a cologne or like Colonne,
- 3:42Speaker 3: doesn't mean you wear too much of it. I have
- 3:45Speaker 3: never with either one of them, felt like they wear
- 3:50Speaker 3: a lot of it. You can wear a small tasteful
- 3:53Speaker 3: amount of cologne. I just had no idea, and that
- 3:56Speaker 3: they know the brands and oh have you tried this one?
- 4:00Speaker 3: And oh, have you compared this one to that one?
- 4:02Speaker 3: And they know the notes that, oh, this one has.
- 4:05Speaker 2: Notes of wow. So it's it's almost like being a girl.
- 4:09Speaker 1: But not im So I'm going to be still.
- 4:12Speaker 3: And I said you, so, are you going to take
- 4:14Speaker 3: any cologne with He said, I'll take a couple with me,
- 4:17Speaker 3: but the rest.
- 4:19Speaker 4: He's got a couple. He's got a couple. I'm sure
- 4:22Speaker 4: that have been known to really get the other guys
- 4:25Speaker 4: in the in the You know, boy, you smell great today, buddy.
- 4:30Speaker 4: I used to Now, I used to do that. I
- 4:32Speaker 4: used to have I used to have four colognes. I
- 4:37Speaker 4: would change them at the season, and I don't remember
- 4:39Speaker 4: what they were, and I know I think Polo is
- 4:42Speaker 4: one of them. But e'ves Saint Laurent and they they
- 4:47Speaker 4: would change with the season. I would change them with
- 4:49Speaker 4: the season, but I don't. But then I just finally,
- 4:52Speaker 4: you don't wear them anymore. No, I don't wear any
- 4:54Speaker 4: cologne at all. My wife doesn't she any scent.
- 4:59Speaker 2: She just like, what's that? It just it defends.
- 5:03Speaker 3: Or carry are you? I know for a while you did.
- 5:07Speaker 2: I don't as much anymore. French laundry. But but on
- 5:11Speaker 2: on occasion. I do have one. It's called fresh laundry. Oh,
- 5:15Speaker 2: fresh laundry. French laundry is a rest restaurant and it's
- 5:19Speaker 2: just smells kind of like soap.
- 5:21Speaker 1: It's it's a clean, a clean, clean smell.
- 5:24Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 5:24Speaker 3: Does Zoo wear perfume occasionally? Yeah, but not a not
- 5:29Speaker 3: an every day.
- 5:30Speaker 2: Not an everyday thing.
- 5:31Speaker 4: I don't remember the last Now I have, like, I
- 5:34Speaker 4: put some product in my hair that has and it
- 5:37Speaker 4: has kind of a scent to it, and but see
- 5:40Speaker 4: I do it early in the morning, so by the
- 5:43Speaker 4: time I see my wife later in the day, that
- 5:45Speaker 4: scent is gone.
- 5:46Speaker 1: Sketchy Blake has a great idea. What's that?
- 5:50Speaker 5: It's uh, it's what we do is we we have
- 5:52Speaker 5: different guys line up with colognes and Festus has to
- 5:56Speaker 5: sniff them and guess the cologne and we call it
- 6:01Speaker 5: have another sniff.
- 6:04Speaker 4: I had an idea. He has guns and he has
- 6:06Speaker 4: lots of bottles of cologne. Yeah, they'd make great target practice.
- 6:10Speaker 5: Oh maybe talk about stinking up the great outdoors.
- 6:14Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 6:14Speaker 3: No. And it was funny because last Christmas, Mohammad bought
- 6:19Speaker 3: Festus for Christmas a bottle of cologne and when he oh,
- 6:24Speaker 3: I think I talked about this at the time when
- 6:26Speaker 3: he opened at Festus was like, how did you know
- 6:29Speaker 3: this is one that I wanted? Like they just Mohammed
- 6:33Speaker 3: was like, I just I just picked it. I thought
- 6:35Speaker 3: this would be a good a good like he was
- 6:37Speaker 3: so happy that he picked this cologne one of he
- 6:40Speaker 3: has twenty seven bottles, but this was the one he
- 6:43Speaker 3: didn't have that he wanted.
- 6:45Speaker 4: My uh, for Christmas. I just remembered this. I got
- 6:49Speaker 4: my older, my youngest son a bottle of cologne and
- 6:54Speaker 4: I forget what.
- 6:54Speaker 2: It was it was, but it was expensive. It was
- 6:59Speaker 2: quite expense.
- 6:59Speaker 4: And some thing he asked no was something that my
- 7:02Speaker 4: wife asked for because she said he insists on wearing
- 7:06Speaker 4: cologne and he hoses himself in some kind of cheap
- 7:11Speaker 4: Get him some nice show, get him some really nice
- 7:15Speaker 4: cologne for Christmas. And I just went to I hadn't
- 7:19Speaker 4: been in a Nordstrom forever, went to the counter there
- 7:23Speaker 4: and said, I want something that's not offensive. It has
- 7:28Speaker 4: a very have to smell it, very light scent, very
- 7:32Speaker 4: just very you know, And she was actually, oh, I know,
- 7:36Speaker 4: I think I know what you mean, I know what
- 7:37Speaker 4: you're doing.
- 7:38Speaker 1: I mean you shouldn't be able to smell.
- 7:40Speaker 3: And I think if if Festus were here in the studio,
- 7:44Speaker 3: you wouldn't You should be able to only smell it
- 7:46Speaker 3: when you're like really close.
- 7:48Speaker 5: Yes, shouldn't walk it up room exactly how it should be.
- 7:51Speaker 4: Yeah, I for one, you know, now we we had
- 7:55Speaker 4: somebody who worked here who was very sensitive to that.
- 7:58Speaker 4: And this office has supposed to be a fragrance free
- 8:04Speaker 4: essentially office, and I think it basically is. And I
- 8:09Speaker 4: I really don't mind not smelling. I mean, I'm I
- 8:13Speaker 4: sort of like it too.
- 8:15Speaker 3: But see, you shouldn't be close enough to anybody at
- 8:18Speaker 3: work to smell their perfume.
- 8:20Speaker 2: Well, that's not necessarily true.
- 8:21Speaker 4: You're in a you know, you're in a production room
- 8:24Speaker 4: with with Katie or with you know, with Doug, and
- 8:27Speaker 4: you're in pretty tight quarters a lot sometimes.
- 8:31Speaker 5: Well, let's have a field trip to Sephora for him
- 8:34Speaker 5: while he's here, take it down. He can smell all
- 8:38Speaker 5: the samples that he likes.
- 8:40Speaker 4: I just wonder which colonne he's going to select, which
- 8:43Speaker 4: colonnes he's selecting to delight his fellow sailors.
- 8:46Speaker 2: Yeah, well we can ask Diego Garcia.
- 8:49Speaker 3: Can We'll have him on before he leaves, and you
- 8:52Speaker 3: can ask him all right,
