- 0:02Hey, hey, hey, and welcome to this week's most exciting, most
- 0:08unique and most incredible podcast.
- 0:13Now, what we're about to do in this podcast is like no other
- 0:19than I've ever done before. I'm about to take you on a
- 0:24journey where you're going to understand the concept of having
- 0:30the biggest aha moment and how that can completely turn your
- 0:35life around. We are going to open up a new
- 0:40door that is usually closed and kept behind the scenes.
- 0:46We're going to invite you to come in and learn about a real
- 0:51life healing from a distance. And yet, as you witness it, you
- 0:57are gonna have your own downloads, you're gonna have
- 1:01your own inspirations, and you are gonna have a taste of what
- 1:07it's like to shift your frequency.
- 1:12So are you curious? Well, if you are, so am I.
- 1:16Because I'm about to go out on a limb and do something I've never
- 1:19done before. Because I'm about to become a
- 1:22client for a beautiful woman whose gift is unexplainable, she
- 1:29asked me that she wanted to be known as absolutely nothing.
- 1:35When I asked her what she wanted to be known for, it was
- 1:39absolutely nothing. Now, in my world, what that
- 1:42tells me is that absolutely nothing means absolutely
- 1:46everything. It's limitless.
- 1:49And this is a place in a space where you can become limitless
- 1:54too, because this is a place that the humble silence can
- 2:01reveal itself. And that mystery and that aha
- 2:07moment that this divine woman is able to give people to change
- 2:14the trajectory of their lives is nothing short of phenomenal.
- 2:21And yet it is a gift from God above.
- 2:24So come and enjoy the real magic.
- 2:27And as I bring her on, I can tell you what her name is.
- 2:31But I'm not going to put her in a box or give her a title other
- 2:35than to let you know. She is the Queen of Aha moments,
- 2:40and she is the insightful, discerning woman that wants to
- 2:46be known as nothing. And yet I say everything.
- 2:50So with no further ado, I give you the beautiful Sandra Koos.
- 2:55Hello, Sandra, how are you? Hello, Terry.
- 2:58I'm doing great. Thanks for having me.
- 3:00How are you doing? I'm going, well, I'm nervous.
- 3:03I must say. I'm very nervous because I'm
- 3:05about to enter into your space. And, you know, I mean, we can be
- 3:12like, there's nobody here that's listening or looking, and you
- 3:17can just be incredibly yourself. But let's start this by
- 3:23explaining to our audience where you come from because, you know,
- 3:28you do deal in trauma. So trauma is something that you
- 3:34believe keeps people in, you know, in the way of themselves.
- 3:39It keeps them stuck. Can you talk me through a little
- 3:43bit about trauma and how it affected you and what you've
- 3:48known about that? Sure.
- 3:52Well, where should I start? I've had quite a few traumas in
- 3:58my life. I was molested when I was 12,
- 4:02sexually arrested at 14, bullied in school between the age of 16
- 4:07to 17, sexually assaulted multiple times between the age
- 4:11of 19 and 25, raped at 22. And when I went to see a
- 4:16psychologist to help me because I didn't like the person I had
- 4:20become, he dismissed me after our main tech session with the
- 4:24words you've already worked through it all.
- 4:25What am I supposed to do? And then I hit rock bottom
- 4:31because I was deserved. A friends and family couldn't
- 4:34help me and mental health professionals didn't know how
- 4:39because there were no trauma informed and I had a choice to
- 4:42make. I had to choose what I want to
- 4:45be staying down at rock bottom and maybe go and do drugs or
- 4:48alcohol or even worse, take my own life or if I would climb
- 4:54back out. I climbed back out and that led
- 4:58me on the most amazing healing journey aha.
- 5:02Moments where are constant in my life and I learned so much about
- 5:06trauma, what it truly is and what it really stops us from
- 5:11becoming. I love that it's so trauma stops
- 5:16us from what we are becoming and yet we become as a result of our
- 5:22trauma. Like you said backstage, Oprah
- 5:26Winfrey inspired you with her wounds.
- 5:30Was it wounds to wisdom turn? Your wounds into wisdom, yeah.
- 5:34Wow. And I say pain to power and
- 5:37story to glory. So that is what this is
- 5:42definitely all about. Now, before we get into the
- 5:45nitty gritty piece of the session, I want to give you the
- 5:49stage to talk to me about the courts, the moment when one of
- 5:56your friends told you you'd better get one already and, you
- 6:01know, explain to the audience. And I want to know myself
- 6:07because I'm probably going to go out and invest in one.
- 6:10So I would like you to talk about what it is and what your
- 6:15friend meant by get one already and what effect it can have on a
- 6:22person's life or you know, most importantly your own life of.
- 6:27Course. Well, the day that happened, I
- 6:32still smile about because it's it was so profound.
- 6:37And yeah, it was kind of funny actually, when I think about it.
- 6:41I was in my early 20s. It must have been like a month
- 6:44or so after I went to see the psychologist.
- 6:47I had a friend and he was very spiritual.
- 6:49His father was a Reiki master. He knew about energy and
- 6:53crystals and all that and I knew nothing.
- 6:57Now I grew up in Germany where everything is more religious and
- 7:01spiritual is. Back then it was so there was no
- 7:04one who really could explain to me about spirituality and except
- 7:09for him so and one day he came to visit me.
- 7:12He saw me sitting on a couch, looking like a heap of misery,
- 7:15was totally defeated, and he stood in front of me, hands on
- 7:21his hips, stern face, and said get a quartz crystal already.
- 7:26And I had absolutely no idea what he meant.
- 7:32That's so funny. And what did he mean?
- 7:34So tell us what is a quartz crystal and what can it do for?
- 7:38Us. OK, well crystals emit energy.
- 7:42It can be proven. It's already books written about
- 7:45it. So there's actually scientific
- 7:47proof behind that. And every crystal vibrates in a
- 7:51certain frequency. So let's say when you're, let's
- 7:55say when you have a cold, you're sick.
- 7:58So then you frequency is different.
- 8:00And then you can take a crystal that helps with colds and flus
- 8:06and it will rebalance the frequency to what it where it
- 8:09should be and help you heal. Now this is the same with trauma
- 8:13or anything else. Which means the quartz crystal
- 8:17is also called the poor man's diamond because it's so powerful
- 8:22in helping us heal. So the IT equals the monetary
- 8:26value of a clean cut diamond. And what we do is, well, my
- 8:33friend and I went to a flea market and went to buy a crystal
- 8:38and he explained to me that I needed to pick take them in my
- 8:42hand and see which one felt right.
- 8:44For some, it may be they start to tingle or they get warm, or
- 8:48they just feel good in the hand or you cannot let it down.
- 8:53I could not take this crystal out of my hand even if I wanted
- 8:56to. It's like it was fused.
- 8:57I could not muster the power to take it out of my hand.
- 9:02So this is a sure sign if you're supposed to take it.
- 9:05Well, this. Is the best.
- 9:08I think I'm going to go out on the weekend and get myself a
- 9:13quartz crystal. So I do love them anyway.
- 9:16So I'm a magpie. I love shiny things.
- 9:19And, you know, I'm getting very nervous because we're about to
- 9:24go into a, you know, and I want to tell people why we're doing
- 9:29this because, you know, as a podcaster, my role is to bring
- 9:34out the genius zone in everyone. And, you know, this is something
- 9:41that we all have within us. And when I went on a deep dive
- 9:46with you, Sandra, what I discovered is it's not about a
- 9:51title. It's not about all of these
- 9:54certifications or accreditations.
- 9:58This is about a limitless discerning healing and an
- 10:05element that comes from total experience.
- 10:10And also almost like you've been led by spirit.
- 10:14So, you know, we decided that we would do this on the show, which
- 10:19is very unique. And I'm giving permission.
- 10:24And maybe people won't even get to see this.
- 10:26Who knows? Maybe you'll be lucky enough to
- 10:29see this. Maybe you'll be fortunate and
- 10:31blessed enough to hear it if you get to hear Sandra Cruz's
- 10:36beautiful way that she'll just, you know, go into this session
- 10:41with me. But firstly, I want to set the
- 10:43mood here and say if you are listening and you know yourself
- 10:49that you've got a challenge, you've got something in your
- 10:52life that you understand, that you're blocked by trauma.
- 10:57I want you to know that as you hear these words and this
- 11:02conversation that happens between Sandra and myself, this
- 11:07is really going to pour into your spirit.
- 11:10Your vibrational energy is going to rise.
- 11:15And I'm gonna say, you know, especially when you stay to the
- 11:19end, because there's gonna be moments where we're gonna go
- 11:22through the mud a little bit and there's gonna be questions that
- 11:25Sandra's gonna ask. However you stay to the end,
- 11:29your energy is going to rise. So is that OK with you, Sandra,
- 11:35if I say that 'cause I just did? Yes, it's OK.
- 11:40OK, awesome. All right, so let's get down in
- 11:44the mud. Like I say, let's get down
- 11:47grounded and dirty or whatever we need to do.
- 11:50And I'm going to hand over to you, I guess if I'm coming to
- 11:56see you, what would be, you know, what's the first thing
- 11:59that comes up that you would ask?
- 12:01And I'm going to let you take it away from here, OK?
- 12:06Well, first, if you came to me, we would have an intake session,
- 12:10so where we would get to know one another.
- 12:12Because what's important for me is that you feel safe with me.
- 12:16Because if you're going to go deep in your trauma, you have to
- 12:21feel safe to actually really dig deep.
- 12:24So if you don't like me, it's not going to work.
- 12:27We call that rapport building. So there's your first teaching
- 12:31everyone build rapport. You know whether you're a coach,
- 12:36healer, leader, or whether you are a parent, teacher or a
- 12:41friend. If you want to be influential,
- 12:44build rapport. Yes, very important.
- 12:49And as a trauma healer, the first thing is you need to be
- 12:52healed. I always tell my clients who
- 12:55want to go into trauma healing like I do, or any other modality
- 12:59that has to do with other people.
- 13:01You can only help someone heal as far as you have healed
- 13:04yourself. Wow, that is, that is profound.
- 13:09Did you grab that? Everyone?
- 13:11You can only heal as much as you've been healed yourself.
- 13:20Wow. So the more you get healed, the
- 13:24more the more profound. And I know from my own community
- 13:29and a lot of my community, they literally sit and wait for 7:00
- 13:33PM Friday night for the podcast to drop because they know
- 13:38they're all coaches, healers and leaders and they want to get
- 13:42inspiration. So they're going to love that.
- 13:45They're going to love hearing that.
- 13:48Wonderful. OK.
- 13:54You're ready. I am.
- 13:57I am ready. I am so ready.
- 13:59And I even allowed that silence to just create that scene so
- 14:06that I guess obviously you're picking up on some energy as
- 14:10well. Yes.
- 14:12So how would you like to start? Would you like to give a teeny
- 14:17back story of what we're going to talk about as we did
- 14:20backstage and then we dive in. Yeah, of course, absolutely.
- 14:26So back story, you know, I did transform my life massively in
- 14:322006, and I won't go into that detail, but there was a massive
- 14:39transformation of a lot of my life.
- 14:42And then I asked myself the worst question ever about 18
- 14:48months ago, and that was that. Because I, you know, I've been
- 14:52practicing as a trainer, coach Sheila, since 2006.
- 14:56I said, well, if everyone's evolving out of their trauma and
- 15:02if every new level is a new devil, you know, what's my next
- 15:07level? Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh.
- 15:11And I'll, I'll tell you something very interesting,
- 15:14Sandra. And this was a little bit
- 15:17different. I had an astrologist on the show
- 15:20and you know, we didn't do what we're doing exactly.
- 15:24We, but we give a like a little 5 minute, like a maybe a three
- 15:28to five minute sequence where they can bring their, their
- 15:32treasure to the show so that our listeners can really benefit.
- 15:37And so we said, oh, well, let's do some astrology, you know, and
- 15:40you know, you, you can do me. And I gave her all my elements,
- 15:45my star sign when I was bored, et cetera, et cetera.
- 15:49And she was shocked when we got to the end of the show for those
- 15:553 minutes. And she started to talk about,
- 16:00you know, she told me some things.
- 16:04And then when we wound up and we finished the show, she went,
- 16:08Terry, she said, I didn't want to say it on the show.
- 16:10She said but you're not going to be where you are.
- 16:14And I was in this great big two-story dream fairy tale house
- 16:18with my husband, a chiropractor. She said, you know, everything's
- 16:23going to change. And I could tell she was holding
- 16:27back from me and you know, and there she was.
- 16:31And she wasn't that experienced to be honest with you.
- 16:33And she won't mind me saying this because it was true, but
- 16:37she gave me more wisdom than I had from someone who would been
- 16:41around for 20 years in her industry.
- 16:44And so it it so it meant to be, well, not meant to be.
- 16:49What happened was that we went on this journey and Long story
- 16:53short, my husband went on a journey where he just went into
- 16:59a big downward slide and he got vascular dementia or diabetes 3
- 17:07as a result of out of control diabetes.
- 17:11But we, we were, you know, he was struggling for a while, but
- 17:14we didn't know. But then he doesn't do anything
- 17:17in half measures. So this day now bringing it into
- 17:22the now, he can't talk, he's non verbal so he can't walk and he
- 17:27can barely move. So I sort of value the moments
- 17:33where he's lucid and I find myself, I'm a very strong
- 17:38advocate. I'm very good at what I do as
- 17:41well. But a lot of doctors and a lot
- 17:45of people in the authority areas are having a lot of problems
- 17:52because I am his voice and I'm speaking for him.
- 17:56And I, at the moment, if I'm going to be like present tense,
- 18:03are going through where I can see they've put him on a
- 18:07medication that has made him decline even further and he
- 18:12can't even swallow food. And I'm telling them really, you
- 18:19know, this has got to stop. And I suppose if I'm looking at
- 18:24it from my own trauma, it's probably around feeling like I'm
- 18:31not being hurt. And then there's this battle of,
- 18:35if I'm going to be truly honest, because I've still got that, of
- 18:39course, I'm a human being. So even when I'm reaching out
- 18:45and I'm, I'm saying what I'm saying, I still have this little
- 18:49thing in the back of my head as I'm being judged.
- 18:53They're going to reject me. They're not going to like me.
- 18:56This is going to happen. And I find that there's that
- 18:59part of me that shrinks. And I mean, even someone very
- 19:03close to me says, maybe, maybe you just need to shut up,
- 19:09whatever. I don't know.
- 19:11But then another part of me says, no, keep going.
- 19:15And so what's my trauma? I guess my trauma is obviously
- 19:21that I feel like I can save the world.
- 19:25And I feel like I want to rescue him.
- 19:28Yes, I'm going to be honest and yes, I am advocating.
- 19:34And I've walked through the trenches to do it.
- 19:37But then there's that thing of me that's feeling like I'm not
- 19:41being hurt and I'm in fear with what's going to happen to him as
- 19:48a result of not being hurt. Is that you can ask me any
- 19:53questions from that if you like. Thank you.
- 19:57Thank you for being so open. Well, the first thing that comes
- 20:02to my mind is energy frequency. What I mean is we as healers, as
- 20:11divine beings, we are already moved in the 5th dimension, but
- 20:15the doctors, the nurses, they're all in the third dimension in
- 20:18the system still. So which means when you come
- 20:22from a higher level of the vibration, use your words are
- 20:26different. The energy of your words is
- 20:28different, so it doesn't resonate with them.
- 20:31Oh my God, boom right there. Sorry, can I just grab that?
- 20:37That is that is true because they're like, what's she talking
- 20:41about? And I can sense that and they
- 20:44don't know and I don't know. And we're, we're, we're going
- 20:47like this. But exactly.
- 20:49That's it. Exactly because your vibration
- 20:52is higher and they it's not about the words, it's about the
- 20:55vibration of the word. That's like when you have a
- 20:59discussion with a friend, a Co worker, someone and they just
- 21:01say what did you just say? What did you say?
- 21:04I don't care what did you just say?
- 21:05And you're like, do I spit your knees or something?
- 21:08You know, actually, but you're right about this.
- 21:11That is a huge aha moment right there, right?
- 21:15So how you fix that is you go down to their level of
- 21:19understanding. I know yes, but but they cannot
- 21:26get to your level. They're not there yet so you
- 21:28have to I wouldn't say dumb it down, but vibrationally dumb it
- 21:33down so they understand it's at their vibration so you can watch
- 21:36how they're talking. They're the doctors.
- 21:39If especially they're male, they're probably going to
- 21:40condescending. Like what does she know exactly?
- 21:45How did you? Know that.
- 21:48Go to their level of understanding.
- 21:51It's like what's? Yeah, and and look, I don't mean
- 21:54anything negative about them when I go oh, it's just that I
- 22:00just cannot believe how on point you are like, wow, that is
- 22:06massive. I just I do need to just
- 22:10acknowledge you there because that is a massive aha moment.
- 22:15I didn't see that coming. I didn't know that that's what
- 22:18it was that you know, there's and, and I should know because
- 22:23I'm a teacher of rapport. And what do you do when you
- 22:28rapport? You get onto people's levels.
- 22:30I didn't even see that. And that's usually the main
- 22:35issue with anything. It's always about energy, always
- 22:38about vibration. So you basically need to match
- 22:44how they're talking, not in the aggressiveness or assertiveness,
- 22:48but the level they understand. So it's the same with Reiki.
- 22:53When you talk about someone about Reiki and they're like,
- 22:56huh, what is this? So you go to their level.
- 23:00So usually I explain it in terms like how it happens in the body,
- 23:04you know, like you hit your elbow and it hurts what you do,
- 23:06you rub it. What happens with Reiki?
- 23:09Well, the energy works through the body and when you hit it,
- 23:12then the energy gets paralyzed. And that's why you see stars.
- 23:16The energy gets stuck there for a moment and can't move
- 23:18anywhere. And more energy is adding up to
- 23:22the energy jam. But if you rub it, then the
- 23:26energy gets mobilized faster. That's why the pain goes away
- 23:29faster. If you rub the elbow, then if we
- 23:32can't, then it takes longer. So I explained Reggie to them in
- 23:36a way that they can actually picture and understand even
- 23:38though they have no clue about energy, right And the same and
- 23:44it says with any communication they are not at your level
- 23:48energetically. So your words don't make sense
- 23:51to them. So.
- 23:54That's what it is. Lower the energy.
- 23:57OK, dumb it down. Yes, I don't like saying it like
- 24:02this because. You know, nobody else.
- 24:04No, it's not dumbing it down like they're smarter than me.
- 24:08They're in in books and medics and all that sort of thing.
- 24:11So don't hear me putting them down.
- 24:14What I'm getting is you're saying dumb down the energy,
- 24:18dumb down the, the frequency. So that's a very interesting
- 24:25because I mean, you know, I talk about that in terms of words and
- 24:31you know, if somebody is talking very low energy and they're
- 24:36they're sort of speaking this, you don't come and go.
- 24:40And then you you're talking up here at a high level 'cause
- 24:43you're gonna be hitting and missing.
- 24:45But what you're saying is exactly the same thing.
- 24:49Only I didn't even get that because it's an energetic
- 24:54component and I have the utmost respect that I know that they
- 25:00know. I always know that everyone, it
- 25:04doesn't matter. They don't have to be a doctor
- 25:06or a medic to know more than me. But I believe that everybody
- 25:11will know something that the other person doesn't know, if
- 25:15that makes sense, because that's why the genie is so, so OK, So
- 25:22do you feel by me? Actually, I guess dumbing down
- 25:26the energy because I'll just put it in that realm.
- 25:31And that is a huge aha moment. I mean, and you'd think that my
- 25:36energy would be terrible, wouldn't you?
- 25:39Because I mean, what I'm going through, you know, going through
- 25:44such a massive crisis and yet I, my energy seems to be higher
- 25:51than I can even recall. Do you have any explanation
- 25:55around that? Yes.
- 25:57Well, yes, your energy is a little lower because of that.
- 26:01And I already started doing my trauma Reiki on you, pulling
- 26:05some of the energy out and guiding in.
- 26:07But this is different. The vibration you're in is still
- 26:12higher because you're an enlightened being and you are
- 26:15embracing that. So this is two different things.
- 26:20You're still in the 5th dimension because your mind is
- 26:23already there, but your body, yes, is struggling and stress
- 26:28and worry and then anxiousness and then a little upset and
- 26:31anger, which is the next part of the communication.
- 26:36As soon as you let your emotions be seen or heard, they shut down
- 26:41and say, well, she's just an emotional woman.
- 26:45That's the downside of being a woman with all our emotions that
- 26:49are great, but men don't understand that.
- 26:54So which means emotions have nothing to do in communication.
- 27:00As soon as emotions come in, they shut down.
- 27:05So the facts logic, if and most people that think they have to
- 27:12explain and talk all the time. No, take a breather, just
- 27:18internally breathe, count to 10. And as you breathe out, you let
- 27:21this frustration go and then you focus on the task at hand, which
- 27:25is only the facts and why you don't want them to have that.
- 27:30Not because you feel don't ever start with I feel you already
- 27:34lost them at the I feel. So you say, I see this, I see
- 27:39he's declining, I see he can't swallow.
- 27:42So ask for the side effects of the medication or look it up
- 27:47yourself. So you have a sheet saying well,
- 27:48this and this is the side effect.
- 27:50This is what he has, so get me something different.
- 27:56Stay with the facts, be assertive and don't let your
- 28:00emotions in. And this is the hard part.
- 28:02That's huge that that is really, really huge.
- 28:05Stay with the facts and don't let the emotions in.
- 28:10So it's, it's very, very interesting to, to do that and
- 28:16to say that because it's, it's interesting that part of my, I
- 28:23guess upbringing and the way that I have, I guess created
- 28:28stories and beliefs within myself have been around, you
- 28:33know, kind of like softening the blow with everything.
- 28:36If you are telling someone something assertive, rather than
- 28:42sort of going in and just bang saying it how it is, kind of
- 28:46like almost putting cotton wool around it and allowing the the
- 28:53the landing to be gentle. But that doesn't actually work,
- 28:56does it? No, I don't sugarcoat things.
- 28:59I'm being very direct and to the point, and my clients love it,
- 29:03actually. So the same thing is in
- 29:07conversations. Because if you're afraid to
- 29:09speak up, ask yourself what's the worst thing that can happen?
- 29:14What is the very worst thing in this moment that could happen if
- 29:17you actually spoke up and set boundaries?
- 29:20What's the worst thing? They might be upset because they
- 29:23don't like boundaries. I mean, every doctor by default
- 29:25has a little bit of narcissism in them because they have to,
- 29:29you know, that they cannot get emotionally involved.
- 29:32They have to stay out of it. So they have this wall up.
- 29:36So of course, they cannot deal with emotions they don't want
- 29:39to. They have this all day long.
- 29:41So if you want to get through to them, be assertive.
- 29:45That's what they need. Yes.
- 29:48So they need they, they need that assertiveness and very
- 29:53straightforwardness and just facts and figures.
- 29:56So you talk about, you know, Speaking of narcissism and
- 30:01you've talked about some of your clients who have, you know,
- 30:07found themself with a narcissistic partner, say, for
- 30:12example. So I digress a little bit here,
- 30:14but it's interesting that just reminded me of this because I
- 30:20know for people that are listing into this, it really comes down
- 30:24to relationships, isn't it? So it's all about relationships
- 30:28and, you know, what are we attracting?
- 30:31And, you know, are we attracting narcissists into our life?
- 30:36Are we attracting because really, we've got to take our
- 30:39own responsibility, don't we? So even with myself, I've got to
- 30:45say to myself, well, you know, what am I attracting here
- 30:49anyways? And what is it that I'm doing
- 30:52that's attracting that? And I noticed that when you were
- 30:55backstage, you were talking about how you help clients who
- 31:00have attracted narcissistic partners and they've discovered
- 31:06that they're kind of like married or they've got together
- 31:10with their their mother or their father or, you know, a parent.
- 31:15And, you know, what do you think that is about where we do find
- 31:21ourselves in the same kind of pattern, different day,
- 31:25different week. Like, even though I'm talking
- 31:27about something tangible here, I can say that look, even though
- 31:32I've never had this happen before in my life, I've had very
- 31:36similar incidences where it's about my assertiveness.
- 31:41And so it comes back to what are we attracting?
- 31:44But what do you think is about us attracting the same sort of
- 31:50thing over and over again? Is it a life lesson so we can
- 31:53have that aha moment and move out with it?
- 31:57Yes, it's very simple. It's again about vibration.
- 32:02Because when you are growing up and you're growing up in a
- 32:05narcissistic family, then you don't know that this is what's
- 32:10happening for you. This is just life.
- 32:12So if a child is abused, that's life for them.
- 32:15They don't know that this is wrong.
- 32:18And so they're growing up with that.
- 32:21And so they have a certain vibration around themselves.
- 32:24So with their limiting beliefs, their self sabotaging behavior,
- 32:27their doubts, their fears, like people pleasing, for example,
- 32:31you know, when you crave love and you do something nice for
- 32:35your parents to say as a as a toddler, you help them empty the
- 32:38grocery bags and they give you this huge smile and say thank
- 32:41you. That was so great, which parents
- 32:44think is a good thing. But what they teach their
- 32:46children is, well, you get love when you're doing something for
- 32:49me, even though it's not the intent of the parent.
- 32:53I mean, any parent does that, you know, and encourages them to
- 32:56do more and better. But it can backfire, as with
- 33:02narcissism. It's even worse because they're
- 33:03never happy. No matter what you do, it's
- 33:06never good enough. So you try harder and harder and
- 33:09harder. And so you grow up believing you
- 33:12have to do things for others in order to be loved or don't speak
- 33:16up or the love is being taken away.
- 33:17So if you have your own opinion, it's not being liked by your
- 33:20parents. Well, like silent treatment.
- 33:24That's what I grew up with even though my mother was not a
- 33:27narcissist, but still. Yeah, yeah, I, I hear it.
- 33:32And and it's interesting when we understand what is actually
- 33:37going on. That aha moment, as you most
- 33:41famously talk about, is very much the moment where we can go.
- 33:47OK, so now you've told me that when I come to think of it, Oh
- 33:51my gosh, why didn't I even think of that?
- 33:53Sometimes you need someone to to actually help you.
- 33:57And this is where Sandra is going to help you.
- 34:00Have your aha moment. I can tell you if I can have an
- 34:03aha moment in that short amount of time just by speaking with
- 34:08this beautiful lady for 10 minutes and maybe not even that,
- 34:14then imagine what you can get. But I just want to draw on
- 34:18something else we spoke about backstage, and that was when you
- 34:23looked at yourself in the mirror.
- 34:24Now, this is a very interesting one from my perspective as a
- 34:28clinical hypnotherapist. Because, you know, we always
- 34:32recognize that if a person needed to break a bad habit,
- 34:37usually what happens is that it's not about OK, I want to be
- 34:42slim. However, what the world didn't
- 34:46realize is that do you realize there's a reason that you are
- 34:50keeping the extra layers on? But I'd like you to talk about
- 34:56the story of what happened to you when you looked in the
- 35:00mirror and what you asked yourself and then how that felt.
- 35:04Because I believe if, if there are people out there also
- 35:08listening that generally want to improve their body, you know, as
- 35:14I mean, we, let's face it, we just the way we do every
- 35:17anything is the way we do everything.
- 35:20So, you know, this is, this is really about, you know, the
- 35:26mindset and expanding it and, and being in that frequency.
- 35:30But can you share that story of what happened to you when you
- 35:34looked in the mirror and then what you discovered?
- 35:39Mm hmm. Sure.
- 35:41Well after I was raped I started to gain weight.
- 35:46I was. I just wanted to become
- 35:48invisible because everything that happened was by different
- 35:52random men and my body gained weight to protect myself and men
- 36:00left me alone. So for the longest time, I was
- 36:04being overweight and tried one diet after another, and all of
- 36:08them failed. And one day I looked in the
- 36:13mirror and I tried to imagine myself having the body I used to
- 36:18have when I went through all those issues, all those traumas,
- 36:24and I realized I was terrified. I was terrified of being thin
- 36:28because I was afraid that all of this would just start all over
- 36:31again. So that made me understand that
- 36:35there was something I needed to heal first in order to feel safe
- 36:39to lose weight. And as I was going on a journey
- 36:44of working through that, so chipping away at the trauma and
- 36:48the fear of being thin, the self love came out and that was the
- 36:53next aha moment for me is that self love is the foundation of
- 36:56everything. So when you have, when you
- 36:59completely love yourself, you will not allow someone else to
- 37:04abuse you. When you love yourself
- 37:06unconditionally, your courage comes back, your conviction,
- 37:13your confidence, it's all within you.
- 37:18It's just buried underneath the trauma.
- 37:19And the more you heal, the more just comes up automatically.
- 37:23So when there used to be a time where I was walking somewhere,
- 37:27head down, don't look at me. I'm now walking straight back,
- 37:32looking straight ahead and I have a stride that is full of
- 37:35confidence. But it's natural.
- 37:37It came back because I healed. And you know that healing like
- 37:44you know, people would listen to this and I know what I'm almost
- 37:50hearing some of your clients out there that are praying for your
- 37:54service, actually asking the question, what did she do?
- 37:59What did she do to recover from that?
- 38:03Because, you know, the fact that you went through a violation of
- 38:09your body and like, I just want to kind of bring forth the fact
- 38:16that it doesn't have to be something that happens to you in
- 38:21your 20s either. Because I've heard of people who
- 38:25have gained weight and been carrying extra weight and diets
- 38:31haven't worked. Fads haven't worked.
- 38:33And then we discovered that it was the 8 year old that was
- 38:38protecting themselves from being molested by an uncle or it was
- 38:44something that they had had deep in the recess of their
- 38:48subconscious mind to actually do that.
- 38:52And while people are doing all these diets, I think you, you
- 38:55might miss the magic in this that you're, you just naturally
- 39:00expand upon. But when a person finds out what
- 39:06the reason is, like you did when you looked at yourself in the
- 39:10mirror and you suddenly became terrified because of the fact
- 39:15that, Oh my gosh, you know, that would mean that I feel like
- 39:19there's going to be a lot of people that wake up and they may
- 39:22learn from listening to this, having heard what you've said
- 39:28that oh, so that's what's, so there's a reason for this.
- 39:32There's a reason for my addiction.
- 39:34There's a reason for my body. So I can hear those voices out
- 39:40there, though, from your dream clients that are asking the
- 39:43question, what do I do to get over something like that?
- 39:49Because that physical violation. So can we can we just kind of go
- 39:54a little bit into that? Sure.
- 39:57Well, when it comes to trauma, there's three phases.
- 40:01There's the victim phaser stage and then there's the survivor
- 40:05stage and the thriver stage. So when something traumatic has
- 40:09just happened, you're in the victim stage.
- 40:11So you're trying to process what happened, you're trying to make
- 40:15sense of it and usually come to the conclusion it has to be
- 40:18something you did because there's no other reason why
- 40:21someone would do something like this.
- 40:24And once you move through the victim stage, you get to the
- 40:27survivor stage, which means you have gained a little distance
- 40:32and you can look at your trauma from a more distant perspective
- 40:36and you can see it was not your fault they chose to do this.
- 40:41And then you get angry. You get so angry at everything
- 40:44and everyone. You get angry at them.
- 40:46You get angry at yourself for holding on to this.
- 40:49You're frustrated with yourself. You're punishing yourself for A,
- 40:53you're holding on to that and not letting it go.
- 40:55And B, why did you let this happen?
- 40:58So you're still angry at yourself, but you're more
- 41:03distant. The problem with the anger
- 41:05stage, it can last your whole life.
- 41:07So many people are so angry because they don't understand
- 41:11that the anger. Yes, it's important in your
- 41:14healing journey. It helps the distance, but it's
- 41:18also a mask. Anger is a mask for pain.
- 41:22It's easier to be angry than to actually feel what you're really
- 41:25feeling. So once you get through the
- 41:28anger and go deeper and look at what's really going on and you
- 41:31see the hurt, then you're ready to heal because then you
- 41:35understand the pain. And then when you get into the
- 41:40thriver stage, the trauma is in your way.
- 41:44You're frustrated, you want it gone.
- 41:47And that's usually when my clients find me.
- 41:50They just want it gone. They're ready.
- 41:52They're so ready. They want to do whatever it
- 41:54takes and that's the best time to heal because before you may
- 41:59go seek therapy and think the therapist is pulling the trauma
- 42:04out of you, but that's not how it works.
- 42:07You have to let it go. I can't pull anything out you're
- 42:11not willing to let go. Oh wow.
- 42:13Is that why I'm feeling so free? I mean, I just want to bring
- 42:18some conscious competency here, but you talked about because I
- 42:22think it's very important for people to know that if they're
- 42:25going to come into your portal and your space and experience
- 42:30your beautiful divine work from my own self, just just giving
- 42:36that snippet of what I've done. I feel such a sense of freedom.
- 42:42However, you also said that you did some healing on me.
- 42:47Yes, and I didn't even know. So can we talk a little bit
- 42:50about that? Because I can tell you right now
- 42:53and for everyone out there listening, I do feel very set
- 42:57free very much indeed. So please explain.
- 43:03Well, when I'm in a session with my clients, I always use trauma
- 43:07Reiki, which I develop. I'm going to start teaching
- 43:10soon. It's basically when you are
- 43:13talking about issues, we talk about things that trigger you.
- 43:17So and the trigger that comes up comes up with a lot of energy.
- 43:22And it is the energy that makes this trigger so intense.
- 43:24It's not the memory itself, it's the energy that's attached to
- 43:27it. So as we talk about the issue
- 43:30and you get your aha moments, with every aha moment, more
- 43:32energy is coming up because suddenly something makes sense.
- 43:35So something that was frustrating you is coming up and
- 43:38I just pull out the energy and then it's gone.
- 43:40So it doesn't bother you that much anymore.
- 43:44You have the aha moment. You're already working on
- 43:46changing it and adjusting. Let's say you're talking with
- 43:49the doctors like how you're going to approach them.
- 43:51You probably already think about that, making the plan of how to
- 43:55do it differently because now you have the freedom because
- 43:59you're not held back by that trigger and by those limiting
- 44:01reliefs attached to it, because I'm pulling out the energy
- 44:05that's coming up with it. And, and you know, I'm sure a
- 44:09lot of people want to know more about these trigger things,
- 44:13right? So could it be that I, you know,
- 44:19like I, I talk about pain to power, story to glory.
- 44:23This is what the genius zone is all about because there's always
- 44:26going to be a back story. So every divine person that
- 44:30comes on this show has this story and it's that story that
- 44:34connects with their clients and they go, Oh my gosh, how did
- 44:38they how did they heal from that?
- 44:40And that's what makes them want to get in contact, right?
- 44:44And I'm just kind of wondering to myself whether, you know,
- 44:47even though I do believe that it is a case of, you know, the fact
- 44:54that those triggers were there and they they may have been a
- 44:59hindrance and they may have caused a bit of grief, if you
- 45:03will, the fact that somehow, or rather they were healed.
- 45:08And now I know why. But now I'm kind of in that mode
- 45:13of asking the question, Do you feel that it's come from
- 45:16unresolved trauma from my past where perhaps like I had a
- 45:22couple of my very close loved ones who had accidents, who were
- 45:27hospitalized, who were in these situations where I know I felt a
- 45:33lot of pain. Do you think it came from that?
- 45:37It's very possible that these are connected if they're right
- 45:40on the same trigger, because the trigger is something that is.
- 45:44The trigger is a memory that has been within you for a long time.
- 45:48So it's basically, if the emotion in this moment in a
- 45:51situation is the same, then yes, that would bring it back up.
- 45:55Which is why sometimes if I work on deep trauma with my clients,
- 45:59there's so many flashbacks coming up from different
- 46:01moments, but they all have the same trigger.
- 46:06So because I felt the same way in that moment.
- 46:09And so the body is like what? The trigger is basically a
- 46:13guiding light toward what needs healing.
- 46:16If there was nothing to heal, a trigger wouldn't be there.
- 46:20Wow, did you just hear what that Lady just said?
- 46:24Now, do you have a trauma that is in your way?
- 46:28Do you have a vision that you want to be better but you know
- 46:34there's something stopping and blocking you?
- 46:37Well, how would you like to be able to have an aha moment and a
- 46:42healing session in as little as what are we here, 46 minutes?
- 46:48We did this in probably just 40 minutes.
- 46:52Well, go to the show notes and get in contact with this
- 46:56beautiful lady because she is absolutely phenomenal.
- 47:02Thank you, Sandra. You know, that that is, that is
- 47:05so incredible. I love that.
- 47:07And I, I mean, the, the, the triggers.
- 47:09Yeah, it's, it's like the same energy.
- 47:11Like you, you really specialize in energy and frequency.
- 47:16And, and I, we didn't say this, but I, I feel that it needs to
- 47:20be said. And that is that you are a
- 47:24person who everything you touch turns to gold.
- 47:28I'm just gonna put it out there like that because you're a
- 47:32creator, you're a writer, and I mean, you only have to look at
- 47:37your background. So you believe that the
- 47:40environment. And I think this is how we're
- 47:42going to sort of conclude the show.
- 47:45And I'm going to ask you a question here, but I'm going to
- 47:49point it towards this because it is your specialty.
- 47:52And that is that I always love to say at the end of the show,
- 47:56you know, if you could share something with a person that's
- 48:02out there that's absolutely just praying to hear what you've got
- 48:06to say. And it might be something you've
- 48:09already said or it might be something that you get off the
- 48:12show and you think, oh, Gee, I wished I hadn't said that.
- 48:16I want to give you the opportunity to share that right
- 48:18now. But I do want to kind of just
- 48:21frame it a little bit with the fact that you are an energy
- 48:27energy person that believes in the environment and our
- 48:32environment that we live in having that high energy.
- 48:37Would you like to give us some of your wisdom on that?
- 48:45Sure. We.
- 48:48Think that healing and energy is all about us, but that's just a
- 48:53fraction of it. What's so important, for
- 48:56example, is the energy of your home.
- 48:59My home is high vibrational, which means I only have things
- 49:03displayed that bring me joy. Anything that has no, that
- 49:09doesn't give me a, a good vibe or that I don't really care
- 49:12about is going whether it was a gift or something I bought and I
- 49:17outgrew it because a lot of people that hang on to gifts
- 49:22because I think they have to. But if it's takes on dust in a
- 49:27cupboard somewhere, it's not bringing you joy.
- 49:29It's becoming an annoyance because you say you could use
- 49:32that space for something else, but you have to keep it.
- 49:36So see it as you donate it and someone else will be thrilled to
- 49:40have that so that it has new energy and you it's fulfilled
- 49:43this purpose. So high reparation home is so
- 49:46important so you can heal. The same with your
- 49:49relationships. You will meet two people in your
- 49:53life, those that have already healed and will pull you up to
- 49:57their level like I do. Or you will meet someone who has
- 50:00not yet healed and will drag you down to there so they feel more
- 50:03comfortable in the space they're at.
- 50:06So those two kind of people you will meet and you need to
- 50:09differentiate, you need to understand what they do.
- 50:12So if someone makes you feel bad and comfortable or make you feel
- 50:15guilty for whatever reason, feels shameful because they just
- 50:20like to do that or they feel better when they can drag you
- 50:22down, they're not your friends. They're like, it sounds harsh,
- 50:28but they're like parasites because they choose not to do
- 50:33their healing. If they would, they could be at
- 50:36your level and rise with you, but they choose not to.
- 50:39So as you rise, they will fall away and then you will meet more
- 50:43people who are at your level and then you will more people who
- 50:47are even higher than you and help you to the next level of
- 50:50your being. So it's all about your
- 50:52surroundings and your trauma is just one aspect of it.
- 50:58Wow that's that's so good. I love that you have just
- 51:02brought so much. I could just go on for ages and
- 51:05ages and we've absolutely exhausted what we say.
- 51:09It keeps people's attention span right there here and now.
