Transcript
- 0:08Speaker 1: Sure, it's time Helly level love and love alone. Welcome
- 0:17Speaker 1: to the Naughty but Nice Sham. Your host, Rambert Shooter
- 0:20Speaker 1: Delane is traveling today, so it's just us Noughteast. But
- 0:22Speaker 1: don't worry, We've got a ton of gossip to get to.
- 0:25Speaker 1: What time is it? My friend's inn ares tea time
- 0:28Speaker 1: big story at the top of the show. So the
- 0:30Speaker 1: internet is exploding with a story about Kylie Jenna getting
- 0:35Speaker 1: snubbed by one of Timothy's Challomay's co stars. I love
- 0:39Speaker 1: that name Challomay at the Golden Globes. So Adessa, who
- 0:43Speaker 1: is a co star with Timothy I Marty Supreme, had
- 0:47Speaker 1: a very awkward moment at the Globes. Now that video
- 0:50Speaker 1: is going viral. Adessa went over to the table to
- 0:54Speaker 1: greet Timothy with an air kiss and a hurk. It
- 0:57Speaker 1: was very Hollywood. Came over to the table, Hello, They
- 1:01Speaker 1: bowed down to Timothy and Kylie. Kylie put out a
- 1:07Speaker 1: hand to say hello, and how desert, at least it
- 1:10Speaker 1: appears on the video, pulled away, leaving Kylie quite uncomfortable.
- 1:16Speaker 1: Now the clip has gone viral, and though the two
- 1:20Speaker 1: ladies did later interact with each other at the show.
- 1:23Speaker 1: They were clapping and hugging when Chalamaye. When Timothy won
- 1:27Speaker 1: Best Actor, these two did smile and hug. But now
- 1:31Speaker 1: there is an ongoing debate that Kylie Jenna was not
- 1:35Speaker 1: welcome at the awards show. This is playing into the
- 1:39Speaker 1: narrative that Kylie Jemener is a reality star. She's one
- 1:43Speaker 1: of the Kardashians. Hollywood doesn't like them. That was once true.
- 1:48Speaker 1: The reason this narrative is sticking is because it really
- 1:51Speaker 1: was once true. Nobody wanted the Kardashians around. Everybody made
- 1:56Speaker 1: fun of them. They did it, even publicly. John hamm
- 2:00Speaker 1: his eyes then once well, that has changed, Kim the
- 2:03Speaker 1: sisters have really had to prove themselves in Hollywood. She
- 2:07Speaker 1: is now a billionaire from her lipsticks, her beauty collection.
- 2:11Speaker 1: She's done just fine. In fact, she probably has more
- 2:14Speaker 1: money than most of those are the stars in that room,
- 2:18Speaker 1: including movie stars. And so Kylie now is accepted and
- 2:23Speaker 1: if she's not fool on you. Plus, Timothy was warned
- 2:28Speaker 1: last season when he was up for an Oscar that
- 2:30Speaker 1: it was Kylie that cost him the Oscar. Absolutely not true.
- 2:34Speaker 1: A lot of people believe that. Well, Timothy has been
- 2:38Speaker 1: really smart about this he knows that Kylie Jenna puts
- 2:42Speaker 1: a spotlight on him like pretty much no other star.
- 2:46Speaker 1: He's a big star in his own right. But the
- 2:48Speaker 1: reason he's the leader of this podcast today, the reason
- 2:51Speaker 1: his photograph from the Golden Globes was everywhere, is because
- 2:55Speaker 1: he was sitting next to Kylie Jenna. You might not
- 2:58Speaker 1: like the Kardashians. I do gets, but they are ratings machines.
- 3:03Speaker 1: We cover them on the podcast and we always get
- 3:05Speaker 1: a little bit of a backlash. I get it. I
- 3:08Speaker 1: love your response. Always give me what you feel. I'm
- 3:11Speaker 1: here for it. However, when we do do a Kardashian story,
- 3:15Speaker 1: I get to see the numbers they pop, We get
- 3:18Speaker 1: more listeners, we get more interaction. And so it's about time.
- 3:23Speaker 1: I think we all just figured out that these Kardashians,
- 3:27Speaker 1: these Genners, they're not going anywhere. They are very powerful.
- 3:30Speaker 1: They are really now a part of Hollywood, and we've
- 3:33Speaker 1: got to give them credit for that. They did this themselves.
- 3:37Speaker 1: Hollywood didn't like them. Remember the time when Anna Winter
- 3:41Speaker 1: at Vogue magazine, the fashion bible of the world. She
- 3:45Speaker 1: wouldn't put Kim on the cover. She wouldn't even have
- 3:47Speaker 1: Kim at her fabulous Met Gala, her big ball that
- 3:51Speaker 1: she does every year. Well that now has totally changed.
- 3:54Speaker 1: Kim's been on the cover, Kendall's being on the cover.
- 3:57Speaker 1: They are a centerpiece every year, the Met Ball, And
- 4:01Speaker 1: so the world has changed. We might not have, but
- 4:04Speaker 1: the world has changed, and the celebrities like Timothy who
- 4:08Speaker 1: get this are winning. So I'm sorry, haters, I'm sorry.
- 4:11Speaker 1: He is not factually crept that Kylie Jenner is hurting.
- 4:16Speaker 1: Timothy Shallon may absolutely not. All the evidence points in
- 4:20Speaker 1: the other direction. He just won a Golden Globe. He
- 4:25Speaker 1: is probably most likely I predict one hundred percent gonna
- 4:29Speaker 1: win the Oscar. And who's gonna be on his arm?
- 4:32Speaker 1: Kylie Jenna. A lot of people thought at the Golden
- 4:36Speaker 1: Globes that he had dumped her, that she wasn't coming
- 4:38Speaker 1: to the Globes because they did not walk the red
- 4:41Speaker 1: carpet together. And I saw a ton of pre award
- 4:46Speaker 1: experts on television really trying to make that point. Oh look,
- 4:49Speaker 1: Timothy's on the carpet by himself. He didn't bring Kylie.
- 4:52Speaker 1: That's a really smart move. He wants to pivot towards
- 4:56Speaker 1: the Oscars. He wants to prove everybody that he's a
- 4:58Speaker 1: really serious actor, not somebody that dates a reality star.
- 5:02Speaker 1: But then inside the ballroom, who was sitting next to him, Wow, Wow,
- 5:06Speaker 1: Kylie Jenna. So he's not embarrassed with Kylie. He knows
- 5:09Speaker 1: the power of the Kardashians. Mindside is telling me Chris
- 5:12Speaker 1: Jenna is even involved in this marketing campaign, which once
- 5:15Speaker 1: again is winning. He won, He's going to win the
- 5:18Speaker 1: Oscar And so I think here Hollywood should probably reassess
- 5:22Speaker 1: an Odessa, who I'm going to give the benefit of
- 5:25Speaker 1: the doubt to hear a young actress in Marty's Supreme
- 5:28Speaker 1: came over saw Timothy had an air huger a kiss,
- 5:33Speaker 1: but did appear to diss Kylie. You don't have to
- 5:37Speaker 1: be a celebrity for this to happen. How many times
- 5:40Speaker 1: have you been out and a friend has come over
- 5:42Speaker 1: to the table and have said a lot to somebody
- 5:44Speaker 1: but not to you, And you put your hand out
- 5:45Speaker 1: to shake someone's hand and they don't shake it. It's
- 5:48Speaker 1: a very very awkward moment. But I think the best
- 5:49Speaker 1: thing to do is to laugh at it, be like,
- 5:51Speaker 1: oh my godness, that was so awkward. Come here, give
- 5:53Speaker 1: me a hurk, Hello, how are you great? To see you?
- 5:56Speaker 1: And Timothy too, he should have said something if he
- 5:58Speaker 1: had seen something. If you came over to say hello
- 6:00Speaker 1: to me and didn't say hello to Bruce, I'd say hello,
- 6:03Speaker 1: this is Bruce, Rudy, Rudy, Rudy, I would I'd say Rudy, Rudy, Rudy.
- 6:08Speaker 1: And so I think Timothy here could have handled this
- 6:10Speaker 1: a little bit better, which brings us to our whole
- 6:12Speaker 1: question of the day. One of Timothy's co stars appears
- 6:16Speaker 1: to have snubbed Kylie Jenner at the Golden Globes. Should
- 6:20Speaker 1: Timothy Should Timothy have said something? What do you think
- 6:25Speaker 1: should Timmy have said? Hang on a second, this is
- 6:29Speaker 1: my girlfriend. You've just ignored my girlfriend? Or did you
- 6:32Speaker 1: not see? You don't even have to be that confrontational,
- 6:34Speaker 1: do you. You could just say, oh, you didn't see Kylie's here? Look,
- 6:37Speaker 1: Kylie's here. I always say you know Kylie? Don't you
- 6:40Speaker 1: you remember Bruce? Don't you go vote on our Twitter
- 6:43Speaker 1: page ad naughty nice rob Should he have said something?
- 6:47Speaker 1: Our Facebook page is naughty Gossip And be sure to
- 6:50Speaker 1: check back tomorrow to hear your results. Okay, moving along
- 6:53Speaker 1: more Golden Globe exclusives. Here Sean Ben was caught smoking
- 6:58Speaker 1: at the Golden Globe. So seanpen were shocking attendees by
- 7:02Speaker 1: smoking get this at his table at the Golden Globes
- 7:05Speaker 1: in the Beverly Hilton rather than step outside. We have
- 7:08Speaker 1: photographs of him puffing away while seated next to Leonardo DiCaprio,
- 7:13Speaker 1: with several cigarettes discarded into a water glascil. It's awful.
- 7:19Speaker 1: So there was a glass in front of him, a glass,
- 7:20Speaker 1: it was half full of water, and he had thrown
- 7:23Speaker 1: his cigarette butts in there. Fans noticed it immediately. I
- 7:26Speaker 1: noticed it immediately. Now sources are telling me exclusively and
- 7:30Speaker 1: you can read about this today on my substack robshooter
- 7:33Speaker 1: dot substack dot com. I've got an exclusive story up
- 7:37Speaker 1: that at least three times somebody went over to Sean
- 7:41Speaker 1: and said, you're not allowed to smoke in here. You
- 7:43Speaker 1: are not allowed to smoke in the Beverly Hilton Hotel.
- 7:47Speaker 1: No nobody is. If you and me went to the
- 7:50Speaker 1: Beverly Hilton Hotel and lit up a cigarette in the lobby,
- 7:52Speaker 1: see what happens. See how fast security we'd kick you out.
- 7:58Speaker 1: This plays into that awful, awful awful but maybe truthful
- 8:02Speaker 1: narrative that celebrities get away with stuff. It's one rule
- 8:05Speaker 1: for us, and it's another rule for them. They're the
- 8:08Speaker 1: one percent. Rules don't matter. They can do whatever they want.
- 8:12Speaker 1: And if they want a lighter a cigarette, not one several.
- 8:16Speaker 1: The water glass in front of him is full of
- 8:19Speaker 1: discarded cigarettes, not just one, several. One's bad enough. And
- 8:24Speaker 1: people in that room. George Clooney's aunt, Rosemary Clooney, the
- 8:28Speaker 1: great great singer. She died of lung cancer. George has
- 8:33Speaker 1: spoken out about smoking and cigarettes. Who used to smoke,
- 8:36Speaker 1: he doesn't anymore. Leonardo DiCaprio is now given up smoking,
- 8:40Speaker 1: and he's still vapes. He didn't say anything. So it
- 8:43Speaker 1: shouldn't just be down to the staff to go over
- 8:46Speaker 1: to the event planners, to the people who run the awards.
- 8:50Speaker 1: It should be the fellow celebrities in the room. If
- 8:52Speaker 1: I'd been Stephen Spielberg, if I'd been Gail King, if
- 8:55Speaker 1: i had been Julia Roberts, I'd say, Sean, you're not a
- 8:58Speaker 1: light to smoke in here. Put that out. And this
- 9:00Speaker 1: is what drives me really mad. I've been to this
- 9:02Speaker 1: award show a couple of times. There's a smoking area.
- 9:06Speaker 1: He couldn't be bothered. Sean Penn's that arrogant. He couldn't
- 9:09Speaker 1: be bothered to get up walk literally one hundred feet.
- 9:13Speaker 1: You walk out of the ballroom, you walk past the bar,
- 9:16Speaker 1: and there's a balcony and outside balcony, and you go
- 9:20Speaker 1: out there and you have a cigarette. That's why they're smoking. Now.
- 9:23Speaker 1: That balcony is normally not a smoking balcony. When the
- 9:26Speaker 1: hotel is not throwing an award show, you're not allowed
- 9:28Speaker 1: to smoke on that balcony. But they know so many
- 9:31Speaker 1: Hollywood celebrities still smoke that they set this up specially
- 9:35Speaker 1: for them. I'm sure the next day they had the
- 9:37Speaker 1: hotel staff in there cleaning and scrubbing and getting rid
- 9:40Speaker 1: of all that disgusting smell. I don't like smoking. I
- 9:43Speaker 1: don't like it at all. I'd be mad if I
- 9:46Speaker 1: was in the ballroom and suddenly somebody just lit up
- 9:49Speaker 1: a cigarette and not just one, several. He chained smoked,
- 9:54Speaker 1: and because he's Sean pen he got away with it.
- 9:56Speaker 1: Not right, Okay, this was a major moment of the
- 9:59Speaker 1: goal globes. Hollywood has shifted its age goldposts and I
- 10:05Speaker 1: don't know if this is a good thing or bad.
- 10:07Speaker 1: Perhaps the most jarring realization came quietly when George Clooney
- 10:12Speaker 1: and Julia Roberts were now framed as quote Hollywood elders.
- 10:17Speaker 1: The shift feels sudden, and it's sobering, and it's marking
- 10:21Speaker 1: and industry reckoning with time and legacy and who gets
- 10:25Speaker 1: to carry the torch? So insiders in the room said,
- 10:27Speaker 1: one of the most shocking things of the night is
- 10:30Speaker 1: now that Julia and George are considered elders in Hollywood.
- 10:34Speaker 1: They are the elders. I remember when it used to
- 10:36Speaker 1: be Bet Middler, Goldie Horn Share, Merrill, no the oldest
- 10:42Speaker 1: now in the business. It's shocking, it's shocking. George Clooney,
- 10:47Speaker 1: Julia Roberts. I thought he was terrific. She looked phenomenal.
- 10:52Speaker 1: What was interesting, too, is it did you see it?
- 10:54Speaker 1: Maybe you didn't because it was during the commercial break,
- 10:56Speaker 1: and I can see the feed and I have people
- 10:58Speaker 1: in the room. Although a lot of people take footage
- 11:00Speaker 1: now on the cell phone, so it is all over
- 11:02Speaker 1: all over social media. Julia and Steven Spielberg had a reunion.
- 11:07Speaker 1: Now if you remember, go back yergss decades when she
- 11:11Speaker 1: made hook. He was not that happy with her. There
- 11:14Speaker 1: were lots of stories at the time that they didn't
- 11:16Speaker 1: get along, and he's never worked with her since. Well.
- 11:18Speaker 1: At the Golden Globes, they were spotted chatting. So maybe
- 11:21Speaker 1: a little bit of peace amongst the celebrities, the directors
- 11:26Speaker 1: and once again, what do you think are Julia Roberts
- 11:31Speaker 1: and George Clooney now considered Hollywood elders. Oh thank goodness,
- 11:37Speaker 1: Brad wasn't there. Amanda ciphered grimaces after losing her Golden
- 11:42Speaker 1: Globe to Rosebyurne. I love Rose. She's been around forever.
- 11:46Speaker 1: And this is so interesting to me that you know
- 11:48Speaker 1: you're on camera. There's five nominees, is it four? Is
- 11:52Speaker 1: it five? I think it's five nominees for each category.
- 11:54Speaker 1: When they call your name out, there's a camera right
- 11:57Speaker 1: in your face. I've been at these shows. There's literally
- 12:00Speaker 1: camera person on the floor with a huge light. You
- 12:03Speaker 1: can't miss them. It's not subtle. The light is glaring
- 12:06Speaker 1: in your face. And some people choose to look at
- 12:09Speaker 1: the camera, look into the camera and wave. Some people
- 12:11Speaker 1: choose to just look away and pretend it's just a
- 12:14Speaker 1: casual shot. They weren't aware they were on camera. However,
- 12:17Speaker 1: it doesn't matter how you respond. What matters is every
- 12:20Speaker 1: single celebrity in that room know when they are on camera.
- 12:23Speaker 1: This is what they do for a living. They are
- 12:25Speaker 1: movie stars, they're TV stars. They know when a camera
- 12:29Speaker 1: is in their face. And Amanda couldn't pull together a smile.
- 12:33Speaker 1: In fact, she had like a grimace. It's a really
- 12:36Speaker 1: weird reaction. Now there are some people saying, oh, she
- 12:39Speaker 1: was joking and having fun. You know, you are paid
- 12:42Speaker 1: a lot of money, a lot of money to act.
- 12:45Speaker 1: This is the moment when you should act for two
- 12:48Speaker 1: three seconds act. I've been around these celebrities and I
- 12:52Speaker 1: can tell you every single publicist talks to their clients
- 12:56Speaker 1: who are nominated about how they should react. If their
- 12:59Speaker 1: name is not called, this is how you should react.
- 13:03Speaker 1: They should also talk to their clients and say, if
- 13:05Speaker 1: your name is called, this is how you should react.
- 13:08Speaker 1: And so it's a very very interesting big here. It's
- 13:11Speaker 1: not a surprise. It's not something where they're caught, oh god,
- 13:14Speaker 1: they're not caught by TMZ walking out of a Starbucks.
- 13:18Speaker 1: They're in a ballroom in a gown, in full hair
- 13:21Speaker 1: and makeup, and a camera is in your face, smile,
- 13:25Speaker 1: look gracious, applaud say well done. This should not be
- 13:30Speaker 1: a surprise, Amanda, get it together. This was a very,
- 13:35Speaker 1: very funny moment before the Globes. Just before the Globes,
- 13:38Speaker 1: Gail King was on the red carpet, so she works
- 13:40Speaker 1: for CBSCBS had the rights to the Globes. Or I've
- 13:43Speaker 1: got a great story going up today on substack. That's
- 13:46Speaker 1: when Nicki Glazer made fun of CBS at the Globes,
- 13:49Speaker 1: calling them a BS network. See BS, that's what you said.
- 13:53Speaker 1: The whole room screamed, laughing. They now have a new manager,
- 13:56Speaker 1: they've gone much more right wing. They've changed the toe
- 14:00Speaker 1: of the whole network. And so a lot of people
- 14:02Speaker 1: in Hollywood are like, oh, CBS now it's the new
- 14:05Speaker 1: Fox News. They're not so happy about it. So she
- 14:07Speaker 1: made some jokes about it, or she was so cheeky,
- 14:10Speaker 1: so funny. Gail was in the room and she was
- 14:12Speaker 1: not happy. However, what has eclipsed that story is that
- 14:16Speaker 1: before the Globes, Gail was on the carpet and she
- 14:18Speaker 1: spoke to Connor Story and Hudson Williams. If you don't
- 14:23Speaker 1: know their names, I didn't either. That the two stars
- 14:26Speaker 1: of heated rivalry. This is a huge show heated rivalry.
- 14:30Speaker 1: Everybody's talking about it, about two closeted gay hockey players,
- 14:34Speaker 1: lots and lots of sex in it. It's very steamy.
- 14:36Speaker 1: I've not watched it because I'm such appruved, but it
- 14:38Speaker 1: really is not suitable for work. And Gail was at
- 14:41Speaker 1: a party the night before the Golden Globes and everybody
- 14:44Speaker 1: was buzzing, really buzzing that these two actors would be there,
- 14:49Speaker 1: and she said something that could be mistaken as a
- 14:52Speaker 1: not suitable for work remarked, she said, innocently, she said,
- 14:57Speaker 1: they're coming. They're coming. That's what she was told. They're
- 14:59Speaker 1: coming to the party. They're going to be here any minute.
- 15:01Speaker 1: Gail wanted to leave, she was working the next day,
- 15:03Speaker 1: but she didn't want to leave the party until she
- 15:05Speaker 1: met these two stars. Well, her comments now have blown up,
- 15:10Speaker 1: not in a not in a good way, in a
- 15:12Speaker 1: really really naughty way. I think you know where I'm going.
- 15:14Speaker 1: I don't have to spell this out anymore, but oh, Gail, Gail, Gail, Okay,
- 15:19Speaker 1: we're going to take a quick break and we will
- 15:21Speaker 1: be right back. Welcome back to the naughty but Nice Show.
- 15:25Speaker 1: Your host, Rob Shooter. Hey, let's get to the polls. Duh.
- 15:30Speaker 1: Yesterday we revealed that when Kate Middleton Catherine Oh, Princess
- 15:35Speaker 1: of Wales, when she turned forty four just a few
- 15:37Speaker 1: days ago, the Sussexes did not reach out. We know
- 15:40Speaker 1: they didn't do it publicly. They didn't do it privately.
- 15:42Speaker 1: No card, no text, no email. They have her phone number,
- 15:45Speaker 1: they have a remail address. They all have cell phones,
- 15:47Speaker 1: so they could have called, but they chose not to.
- 15:51Speaker 1: Should they have? Should the Sussex have reached out? Has
- 15:54Speaker 1: this happened to you? You might have had a falling out
- 15:55Speaker 1: with somebody, but then when a birthday comes, Oh my goodness,
- 15:58Speaker 1: it's a lot of pressure because what do you do?
- 15:59Speaker 1: You say? Card? Do? You're not sending a card? They
- 16:01Speaker 1: chose not to. Should they have done it? Ooh, it's
- 16:04Speaker 1: split down the medal. This is so interesting. Fifty to
- 16:06Speaker 1: fifty fifty point fifty here it could go either way. Hey,
- 16:11Speaker 1: don't forget to vote on today's pole. Go to our
- 16:14Speaker 1: Twitter page ad Naughty Nice Rob. Our facebook page is
- 16:17Speaker 1: Nordly Gossip and be sure to check back tomorrow to
- 16:20Speaker 1: hear your results. And now it's time for and nicest
- 16:25Speaker 1: of the day, Oh, and nicest the day is surprisingly
- 16:28Speaker 1: Leonardo DiCaprio, who was really animated during the commercial breaks
- 16:32Speaker 1: at the Golden Globes. There's video online of him during
- 16:35Speaker 1: the breaks, and he's delightful to everybody in the room,
- 16:38Speaker 1: playful gestures, facial expressions, a side of Leo that we
- 16:42Speaker 1: never get to see. Campy. He was waving at Julia Roberts,
- 16:45Speaker 1: at Kate Hudson's, he was clapping, he was laughing. He
- 16:48Speaker 1: had a great, great mind. And then when the camera
- 16:51Speaker 1: cuts to him, he's always so solemn, isn't it. I've
- 16:54Speaker 1: been on a few private planes of all things with
- 16:57Speaker 1: Leonardo DiCaprio, and he's quite. He has the baseball cap
- 17:01Speaker 1: pulled down over his eyes, he has a scowl on
- 17:04Speaker 1: his face. He's not the happiest chap. But there is
- 17:06Speaker 1: a side of Leo that we don't get to see.
- 17:08Speaker 1: I'm not sure why he hides this side. It's a
- 17:10Speaker 1: delightful side, Leo. Let's see that side of you. Moore,
- 17:14Speaker 1: you are so much fun. Friends of his telling me
- 17:16Speaker 1: he's really campy. He's really funny. He loves laughing, except
- 17:21Speaker 1: when the public. When the cameras are around. There's two sides,
- 17:25Speaker 1: doesn't murder to everybody, and there's a really happy, go lucky, funny,
- 17:29Speaker 1: campy side to Lea and nicest of the day, and
- 17:32Speaker 1: I know it is the day, naughty, naughty, naughty. The
- 17:34Speaker 1: Golden Globes ditched the in memoriam segment, so we've had
- 17:37Speaker 1: a lot of losses this year. Rob Bryner, Robert Redford,
- 17:41Speaker 1: Geene Hackman, Diane Keaton, and their absence was deliberate, it
- 17:45Speaker 1: was not It was not an accident. Now a wachows
- 17:48Speaker 1: have a long tradition, a long tradition of remembering, remembering
- 17:53Speaker 1: the actors, remembering people we have lost, and to skip
- 17:56Speaker 1: it really drained. I felt an emotional and emotional gravity
- 18:00Speaker 1: from the show. However, Nicki Glazer did get a very
- 18:04Speaker 1: subtle shout out to Rob Ryaner in the closing credits
- 18:08Speaker 1: of the show. She came out wear and gets spinal
- 18:11Speaker 1: tap hat, obviously one of his legendary movies. What do
- 18:14Speaker 1: you think about this? Should there have been an in
- 18:16Speaker 1: memoriam segment? I get it. These as shows go on
- 18:19Speaker 1: a little bit, they ramble, they're too long, so to
- 18:21Speaker 1: cut a big segment like that you're going to cut
- 18:23Speaker 1: five five minutes or so, and so that's why they
- 18:25Speaker 1: do it. However, I think if we're handing out awards
- 18:29Speaker 1: really celebrating people's success today, it's awfully nice to look
- 18:33Speaker 1: back and see who shoulders we all stood upon. What
- 18:38Speaker 1: do you think? Okay, let's end with our moment of you, Rob.
- 18:42Speaker 1: You don't improve your life by doing more. That is
- 18:45Speaker 1: a huge mistake. You improve your life by doing less
- 18:49Speaker 1: of what doesn't matter. Most people are exhausted because they're
- 18:52Speaker 1: over committed. Progress doesn't come from piling on more goals. No,
- 18:58Speaker 1: it actually comes from so traction take away, don't add.
- 19:02Speaker 1: Stop saying yes to things that don't move you forward,
- 19:05Speaker 1: Stop reacting to things that demand your attention. Protect your
- 19:09Speaker 1: energy like it's the most valuable asset you have, because
- 19:13Speaker 1: it is. And when you clean all that noise, the
- 19:16Speaker 1: important stuff, it gets louder, and suddenly, without even trying,
- 19:22Speaker 1: your life starts working better for you. Hey, that is
- 19:27Speaker 1: it for today. Thank you so much for listening to
- 19:31Speaker 1: the Naughty but Nice with Rob and Nortisha. You're the
- 19:34Speaker 1: co host today. We're a production of Elvis Durant and iHeartRadio.
