  do I feel about haters on the Internet?

  Well, for me, I knew whenever coming to YouTube, as a former

  atheist, I knew that there were going to be religious people who

  were not going to be happy with some of my questions.

  Why did I know this? Because whenever I was a young

  person and I was involved in going to church and all that and
• 2:59
  believed I was a Christian back then when I say believed, I was

  a kid who didn't know everything about the Bible.

  I didn't know anything about like the history of theology.

  All's I knew was I was taught Jesus died on the cross for my
• 3:13
  sins. And you know that there was a
• 3:15
  bunch of people before him and after him.

  And I was explained pretty much that story and was told if you

  believe in him, then you call yourself a Christian and you go
• 3:26
  with that. But I was ignorant.

  I was uneducated and everything else and just a kid going along
• 3:32
  with all the other kids at the time and and what my family
• 3:36
  believed. I would later on become a a non
• 3:41
  believer. But during that time whenever I
• 3:43
  was a kid I noticed when you ask questions about God or religion

  and all that some people simply don't have any answers.

  Some people actually sound ridiculous when they're trying
• 3:53
  to explain or describe the concept of an omniscient,
• 3:57
  omnipresent, benevolent, or Omni.

  Lot of science and philosophy involved.

  When trying to describe that something a child wouldn't have

  been able to handle, a lot of some people got angry.

  Some people did not enjoy being questioned.

  Some people felt that you shouldn't question at all.

  So I figured if I had that kind of experiences in my real life,

  that coming to the Internet where I was connected to the

  entire world, I was going to probably get people who got

  bothered or were nervous or had anxiety about talking about God.

  And besides, YouTube was totally different than it is now.

  Like there wasn't a bunch of apologists.

  There wasn't. There were like some preachers

  and there were church videos and all that kind of stuff, but
• 5:04
  Christians and atheists weren't really a thing back then.

  There was like only a few atheists and I was one of them.

  That's one of the reasons why I think that I've got so popular,

  because at the time I was something fresh and new to the
• 5:18
  world as where there's atheism as a dime a dozen nowadays.

  So I don't think it was just because I'm a pretty man and

  super smart and ingenious and all that.

  With some of the things I come up with, it was that I was
• 5:34
  pretty much the only competition at the moment.

  I was the the new fresh product. So I don't beat my chest like a

  primate and and think that there was something great or special
• 5:46
  about it. I was just one of the first.

  Now, if you were to ask a lot of atheists back then when they

  listened to me, the ones that weren't making videos were just
• 5:56
  watching and listening. The ones that are honest with
• 5:59
  themselves, they'll probably tell you that I no matter what

  time I started YouTube or when I started getting involved, I was
• 6:09
  always special. There was something brilliant

  about me that was able to appeal and attract people and all this
• 6:16
  kind of stuff. Well the reason why I'm pointing

  all this out is this is where it starts getting into the hatred

  part. You're going to find religious
• 6:27
  people who don't like it. And because I was a bit snarky
• 6:30
  and I come off arrogant sometimes, there were some non
• 6:34
  believers that were concerned that I was rocking the boat.

  What I mean by this is imagine that you're you wear the same
• 6:43
  label as a group and they don't want to be represented as being
• 6:48
  negative or evil or bad or naughty or immoral or things
• 6:52
  like that. And you get a person like myself
• 6:55
  who is a good guy who can relate and identify and reach people

  but every once in a while has a mood swing and decide to say

  some pretty nasty shit. And then it makes other people

  think oh this is the way an atheist is.

  See unfortunately every time someone from religion or non

  religion and a group does something, unfortunately it

  stains the rest of the group. The rest of the group feels like

  Oh no people are going to think atheists are stupid, Oh no, the

  Christian said something really dumb.

  See how dumb Christianity is? There's always this

  generalization on broad sweep and that was the main thing.

  A lot of atheists wanted to be known as the intellectual

  freethinkers, rational, blah blah blah, but I didn't give a

  fuck about all that nonsense. I didn't care about upholding

  their religion or image or expectations or any of that

  shit. I considered myself a particular

  individual situation. Yes, I wasn't paying anybody's

  bills and nobody was paying my fucking bills.

  So I was going to say what the hell I wanted to.

  And I already realized I was old enough at that point to realize

  that no matter what I say, no matter what I do, people were

  always going to bitch and whine. Someone was always going to be

  upset. Someone was always going to have
• 8:25
  a sad or or melt like a snowflake.

  That's just the way it is. But to be super fair, when I

  originally started out, like in the first couple months, I

  really didn't think that I was going to reach anybody.

  I didn't think anybody was going to fucking listen.

  It was because of the nature of YouTube at the moment.

  YouTube was about fucking cats and dogs and dolphins making
• 8:50
  noises and shit. There was no atheist versus

  religion shit. So I didn't know that.

  Me getting up there, I didn't even know if I would get beyond

  a reach where, I mean, what category would I even fit in?

  Back then, the genres of where you can place your videos were

  pretty much like automotive. They had different ones in the

  beginning before Google took over and they added more

  categories. So it was like you had the

  choice between people, education.

  I don't even think fucking science was one of the

  categories. So you couldn't put anything
• 9:31
  that your view of science was about.

  Nobody cared about that. YouTube was a funny little place

  where you share pictures of your fucking kittens and that was it.

  And then a guy like me suddenly comes out of the fucking

  woodwork and starts hammering our religion and the Bible and
• 9:51
  questioning God and questioning and trying to do illogical
• 9:55
  fallacies and all this kind of shit.

  It was like a bomb went off. You know, people are like, what

  the fuck? Who is this guy?

  And there were atheists who were too cowardly and too spineless
• 10:08
  to be able to speak up for themselves or get out there.

  Even though there were a lot of non believers who were listening

  and watching, a lot of them were scared.

  They were afraid or they felt like they'd be persecuted, or
• 10:21
  they thought it would affect their jobs or their lives and
• 10:24
  all that. It's me.

  I didn't give a shit. I was.

  I've been a. Musician and a writer for a long

  time. So I strived.

  I thrived on publicity. It didn't matter if people went

  off on me and everything. Then it got me attention, you

  know? And when I say attention, I'm

  not talking about, oh, kudos and a thumbs up and shit.

  I'm talking about it got people's attention in the way

  where they continued to come back, whether they liked me or

  hated me. They kept returning to my

  channel and listening. And a lot of people actually

  learned from that. Now a lot of atheists realized,

  my goodness, the more controversial and the more rough
• 11:07
  this guy gets, the more bigger he gets.

  It was like the incredible hawk. You know, I was going to get

  hit. I was going to get fired upon.

  But I just got. Bigger and bigger and fucking
• 11:19
  greener. Obviously nastier now, I didn't

  want to. I I didn't have this desire when

  starting out to deliberately piss people off or bring people
• 11:33
  to tears. I didn't have this idea that I
• 11:36
  wanted to go out of my way to embarrass people.

  What I wanted to do was show that there was some kind of

  problem with religion. I wanted to show that there was
• 11:46
  some kind of problem with groups and tribalism.

  I wanted to show that. The science At that time, my
• 11:56
  admiration for science blinded me.

  I refused to look at all the things that were refuted in
• 12:02
  science. I refused to.
• 12:06
  Look into the assertions and claims and theories that science
• 12:10
  had made, especially in the field of evolution.

  So for a long time there, I actually held on to evolution.

  I actually was convinced we came from fucking monkeys and the
• 12:20
  Bible was just some kind of mythological.
• 12:23
  Story I had not been in a lab at all.
• 12:28
  I had never been in any kind of like, science industry myself,
• 12:33
  actually putting chemicals together to see that shit.

  I just assumed that because it was authority figures on TV
• 12:41
  saying so and that because books look so neat and colorful and
• 12:45
  the pictures seem about right and the claims were coming from
• 12:50
  people who were supposedly intelligent and being paid for
• 12:53
  their opinions, that it must all be fucking true.

  And I had the choice between ancient people from thousands of
• 13:01
  years ago or a bunch of modern day people that were involved in
• 13:05
  using modern day technology. So in my brain it said fuck
• 13:10
  these people know more than what the religious people know.

  I didn't know a great deal about the ancient times and shit like
• 13:18
  that, nor did I understand all the problems that science had at
• 13:22
  the time. And most people, I think
• 13:25
  nowadays realize that there's issues no matter where you look.

  It's just that if you're pushing agenda or you're wanting to
• 13:36
  narrate some political view or some kind of a scientific view,
• 13:42
  and you have a chip on your shoulder against someone else's
• 13:45
  beliefs or ideas, you're not going to let people in on the
• 13:50
  surprise or all the bullshit. You're not.
• 13:53
  There are a lot of people out there, let's just say that they
• 13:56
  want the world in reality to perform in a certain way and
• 14:01
  they're not willing to give credence to the other side type
• 14:04
  of deal. There's a lot of atheists who
• 14:07
  have this thought process that it's US against them, so they're
• 14:13
  never going to give who they perceive as the enemy any kind
• 14:16
  of rope, even if it means they got a lie, even if it means that
• 14:22
  they won't concede to any actual facts or evidence or truth.

  And that's sad. And unfortunately there's a lot
• 14:30
  of Christians like that too, where even if something is
• 14:33
  disproven, even if something is shown to not.
• 14:37
  Be quite what it looks like on the surface, or more than meets
• 14:41
  the eye. People tend to do that because
• 14:44
  they don't want to look fucking stupid.

  They want to look like they know what they're talking about.

  And I get that. So for me, making it through

  YouTube, I ended up start and receive people who didn't like

  what I was saying and I actually had Christians as well as

  atheists who I didn't know in real life who were trying to

  actually control me. I don't know how many of you out

  there, if you've got over 1000 subscribers, you probably ran
• 15:15
  into people like this where they don't know you, but for some
• 15:21
  reason they think that they can tell you what to do and that
• 15:24
  they can control how you make videos and how you do your
• 15:27
  channel. They're going to actually tell
• 15:29
  you what you're allowed to say. Some people are actually going
• 15:32
  to tell you that you shouldn't be cussing.

  You shouldn't be doing this like they're a fucking principal in a
• 15:38
  school telling the little kids what they can and can't do.

  And that kind of shit made me laugh and I deliberately

  aggravated those type of people. I was like, ah, I'll tell you

  what, why don't you go fuck yourself?

  I didn't care what they thought. Hey, I never did.

  Well, when you got that kind of attitude where you're not going

  to let people push you around or bud you in any kind of way and

  There's a lot of people who are going to respect that and

  So I knew it, I, I knew I was going to pick up some people who

  Did I know that people were going to spend from morning to

  night making fucking live streams talking shit about me,

  or creating video series after video series talk and shit?

  No, I didn't think people were that fucking stupid.

  I I thought that some people lacked knowledge in a lot of

  areas and needed education. But I did not know that people

  were so fucking stupid and lame in their life that they would

  make video after video after video mocking either the way you

  look or the way you sound or the way you talk.

  I had no fucking clue it was, I could understand like one or two

  videos, but if somebody just continues to do that shit over

  and over, then they're obviously retarded.

  That's that's the only way you can look at it.

  And I do believe, I'm a strong believer believing that there's

  I always, when I, when I look at it from my perspective, I knew

  that I wasn't forcing anybody to my YouTube channel.

  I wasn't going out and wrangling people and dragging.

  I figured if my channel was annoying enough or people didn't

  like my face or heard my voice and didn't enjoy it, they would

  simply go fuck off and go make their own videos or go watch

  somebody that they enjoy. I even would suggest that the

  people I would say look if you don't enjoy my shit and you need

  things that are more easier for your slow ass to understand, go

  watch fucking Barney the purple dinosaur or Pokémon or some shit

  or My Little Pony. Whatever seems to meet your IQ

  needs, you know? So I discovered quite quickly as

  the hate video started to pile up from Christians as well as

  atheists. And the ones from atheists were

  definitely far superior than the Christian ones.

  The Christian ones were like, you're, you're mean, God's going

  to get you kind of things is where the atheists were more

  personal. It was about the way you look,

  the way you sound, the way you talk.

  You know you're fat. You're stupid, you're blah,

  blah, blah, that kind of shit. Well, after a while of this

  going on, I mean, at first I was like, ah, damn, that's sad.

  It's too bad that these people are going this route and all

  that. But then I started noticing

  something fascinating happening. My subscribers were going up

  really, really fast. My view count was going through

  the fucking roof and I was getting a lot of traction on

  algorithm and I'm like, well damn, you know, I even attempted

  to see what would happen. I experimented, I tried making

  us. I tried for about a couple

  months just doing like really, really nice respectful videos to

  see if I could still get the traction.

  And sadly, when I did the experiment, it failed.

  Being nice and decent and you know, wearing kid gloves and all

  that wasn't getting. When I looked at the algorithm

  and it did the analytics, it didn't show that it was going.

  It was just kind of a little crunchy wave.

  But when I was acting like a Dick, the shit was going off the
• 21:13
  roof like a Rector scale or something.

  So I realized, OK, if I want to continue this consistent uphill

  deal, I'm going to have to remain controversial.

  I'm going to have to remain doing things a little rough.

  And I think this is one of the major reasons why you see a lot

  of this tension on YouTube with atheists and religious people.

  There are some religious people who are actually have an
• 21:41
  interest in their analytics. They want to know what the
• 21:44
  people out there are thinking about their message and how
• 21:47
  they're handling that. And the atheist, of course, some
• 21:51
  of these lazy fuckers out here don't want to work a job.

  So for them, they need to climb in order to get patrons and and

  get their get monetized and make money.

  And the only way to do that is climbing.

  So in order to do that really quick, instead of being

  intellectuals and rational thinkers, they decided to be

  controversial cunts that are hateful and abusive in order to

  get as much attention as possible.

  But there's a fucking risk to this type of behavior too.

  I discovered that everybody's discovered it.

  Some people, you'll probably notice, can get away with

  fucking murder other people. Unfortunately, like myself, I

  got so popular that even YouTube fucking noticed me.

  I wasn't just something hidden in the haystack anymore.

  So if I got controversial, if I said half the shit to somebody

  like Logan Paul or one of these fucking Youtubers, like what's

  his name? Tedda, What is PewDiePie or some

  shit? I mean PewDiePie is one of these

  people that are God like on YouTube where they can say any

  fucking thing they want. Chowder, Ben Shapiro, Candace

  Owens. On the intellectual side, those

  folks can say pretty much what they want.

  And as far as the goofy side, PewDiePie and Shane Dawson and
• 23:25
  people like that Onessian were able to say the fucking ignorant
• 23:29
  as shit. However, with people like
• 23:33
  Onision, things backfired because at some point some
• 23:37
  people and YouTube started to give a fuck about the hate
• 23:41
  videos and accusations and then Onision ended up losing
• 23:45
  everything. Onision tried to use every
• 23:49
  controversial thing you possibly could.

  And I think he got to the point where he he believed in his own
• 23:56
  fucking nonsense. And what I mean is he was
• 24:00
  basically sucking in his own farts and thinking that he was
• 24:03
  untouchable, invincible. He would allow any bullshit and
• 24:08
  if someone hated on him, he would dig in and actually
• 24:12
  emphasize it to give people the idea that that's actually how he
• 24:17
  was. He become a character of how
• 24:20
  people would represent him, if that makes sense.

  And I noticed that I could see it right off the bat when he
• 24:26
  started doing it and for a long time there at work.

  But then he made the mistake of breaking into the character when
• 24:35
  people started calling him a groomer and saying that he was
• 24:38
  having young girls at his house and all this.

  Yet he decided to dig into that and give weight to what the

  people were claiming because he thought it would actually help

  his channel, but it didn't. Onessian had unfortunately come

  to a point in his YouTube career where I guess people were tired

  of seeing his face. They just, they're sometimes on
• 25:04
  YouTube, it's people have what is called the Frankenstein

  moment, and I've seen it countless times.

  It's where people love you, but then you get so big and so

  popular that people start getting bored of you.

  Have you ever seen Rocky three? Most of you probably seen Rocky

  three. You know how Stallone,

  everybody's rooting for him and they love him and they and all
• 25:28
  that. But then in Rocky three, he's,

  you see him at the beginning going through this like collage
• 25:34
  of battles and he's kicking the shit out of everybody and he's,

  you know, defending his title and Mr. T sitting out there
• 25:43
  fucking getting pissed. He's mad.

  And he's thinking about how he'd love to see Rocky get his
• 25:48
  fucking head knocked off. And it's annoying him and it's
• 25:51
  aggravating him. And he feels as though Rocky's
• 25:54
  getting all this opportunities and easy shit as where he's down
• 26:00
  on the bottom, hardly known. And he believes that he deserves
• 26:04
  to be on top, actually believes he's better than Rocky.

  And eventually, obviously Rocky and Mr. T get in the ring.

  And Rocky, unfortunately, in the first fight, gets his ass

  fucking destroyed because he thinks he's so great.

  He underestimated Clubber Lane and he gets his fucking head

  knocked off. Well, that's what happens with

  some Youtubers. They get really famous and

  people start getting jealous. They start getting envious.

  They start asking why is it my fucking YouTube videos going

  nowhere but this retard who pours cereal all over his head

  is super famous? Why is that the fucking case?

  That doesn't make sense. Why is it that I make all these

  science videos but some fucking idiot can stick his head between

  his legs and suck farts out of his own asshole and get super

  famous? It's painful for people who are

  poor or don't have a lot of things going for them, or people

  don't love them or give them the attention they deserve, and then
