- 0:04Speaker 1: This is the Roguereecap with Linda McLaughlin. She's unfiltered, unforgiving,
- 0:08Speaker 1: and understandably annoyed by everyone. Make sure you like and
- 0:12Speaker 1: subscribe to her a podcast and follow her on x
- 0:15Speaker 1: at Roguereecap.
- 0:17Speaker 2: Well, Hey, everybody, Thursday night, here recording around midnight, and
- 0:23Speaker 2: I'm gonna start off the show just thinking about the
- 0:25Speaker 2: people of Currville, Texas. You know, I was talking to
- 0:28Speaker 2: a friend today who's from Texas, and she and I
- 0:32Speaker 2: were discussing just how out of the news this horrible
- 0:35Speaker 2: tragedy is. We lost so many children, we lost so
- 0:40Speaker 2: many people, just senselessly, sadly. Someone prepared for these natural disasters.
- 0:48Speaker 2: And I use the word natural very very loosely. And
- 0:53Speaker 2: I won't get into that right now because that's not
- 0:55Speaker 2: what I want to start the show off with. But
- 0:57Speaker 2: I just I ask you to please, if you can give, give,
- 1:01Speaker 2: you know, find out who the local people are that
- 1:02Speaker 2: are on the ground, that are working with you know,
- 1:06Speaker 2: the divers and the search teams and people that are
- 1:09Speaker 2: I mean, they've lost everything, you know, their houses are
- 1:12Speaker 2: down the river. There was like a whole area of
- 1:14Speaker 2: RVs that got sucked under the water and they're they're
- 1:19Speaker 2: still really struggling down there. So as we move on
- 1:22Speaker 2: and we talk about all sorts of other things like
- 1:25Speaker 2: the Epstein files or whatever, just remember that the death
- 1:30Speaker 2: count as of today from the flooding, it's one hundred
- 1:32Speaker 2: and thirty five people, and one hundred and sixteen of
- 1:36Speaker 2: them are writing Curville, and it's just it's really sad,
- 1:40Speaker 2: and my heart breaks for them, it really does. And
- 1:43Speaker 2: I'm so sad at the way that we as a
- 1:45Speaker 2: nation dealt with it as soon as it happened. You know,
- 1:48Speaker 2: all these people coming out saying, oh who cares, that's
- 1:52Speaker 2: Maga country, that's little white people, little white kids, all this.
- 1:57Speaker 2: It's just not the time, guys. It's just not the
- 1:59Speaker 2: time for racism or politicization. It's a time to be
- 2:03Speaker 2: a human being and help. I'm sure that wouldn't have
- 2:07Speaker 2: been tolerated during Hurricane Katrina. Just thinking out loud for
- 2:11Speaker 2: a minute, but really sad thinking of them, and honestly,
- 2:16Speaker 2: also thinking about all the pets. You know. I've made
- 2:19Speaker 2: several donations this week to different local spots, and one
- 2:22Speaker 2: of them was to a place that's taking care of
- 2:24Speaker 2: all the pets they're finding because either they got lost
- 2:28Speaker 2: in the flood where their owners succumbed to the floods.
- 2:33Speaker 2: They're injured as well, and they're lost. They need foster homes,
- 2:37Speaker 2: they need care. It's just really sad. And we're not
- 2:42Speaker 2: even a year out from what happened in North Carolina
- 2:45Speaker 2: with Hurricane Helene, and it's the same kind of thing.
- 2:49Speaker 2: You know. It's like, we set up camp, we broadcast
- 2:53Speaker 2: from there for a few days. We cover, you know,
- 2:56Speaker 2: people and their families who have lost their whole. I
- 3:00Speaker 2: mean I saw one guy. He lost his entire family,
- 3:03Speaker 2: his wife and his children, and he held on as
- 3:06Speaker 2: long as he could, and then he lost grip and
- 3:07Speaker 2: they all died and he lived. I mean, I can't
- 3:11Speaker 2: even fathom the survivor's guilt that that guy is going
- 3:14Speaker 2: to have for the rest of his days on this earth.
- 3:17Speaker 2: I cannot imagine for one moment how that would feel.
- 3:22Speaker 2: And I'm so grateful that I don't have to feel it.
- 3:25Speaker 2: But it's there's just a real heaviness to it. And
- 3:30Speaker 2: you know, while the rest of the world is freaking
- 3:32Speaker 2: out about how he can save an I llegal immigrant
- 3:35Speaker 2: who raped a child, I want to focus back in
- 3:38Speaker 2: on people who really need us. People who need prayer,
- 3:41Speaker 2: people who need funds, and people who need help, and
- 3:44Speaker 2: we just got to give a little. Everybody's got to
- 3:46Speaker 2: give whatever they can. And there's just so many places,
- 3:50Speaker 2: you know, whether we were I know, I keep going
- 3:52Speaker 2: back to this, but there's just so much of this,
- 3:55Speaker 2: whether it's the Palisades, why what happened in North Carolina,
- 4:00Speaker 2: parts of Tennessee and Georgia. You know, we're looking at
- 4:04Speaker 2: places like Texas and it's just really sad. So we
- 4:08Speaker 2: just need to keep them in our prayers and really
- 4:12Speaker 2: just focus on what we can do to help. I know,
- 4:14Speaker 2: that's what I'm going to try to do, and try
- 4:16Speaker 2: to stay away from the idiots to make it ugly
- 4:19Speaker 2: any uglier than it already is, that's for sure. And
- 4:22Speaker 2: it was totally in the same vein. Chip Roy today
- 4:27Speaker 2: was testifying about public radio funding because MPR, which is
- 4:32Speaker 2: national public radio, is pushing very hard to get more
- 4:37Speaker 2: funding from the government as President Trump and his administration
- 4:41Speaker 2: is slashing the funding that goes to them because they
- 4:43Speaker 2: are so liberal and it doesn't really make a lot
- 4:46Speaker 2: of sense to have taxpayer funds go to something that
- 4:49Speaker 2: is so one sided. If you're going to be one sided.
- 4:52Speaker 2: Then you can get your funds from private endorsement and investment.
- 4:56Speaker 2: You don't need taxpayer dollars because you are not representing
- 4:59Speaker 2: the taxpayers. You're representing a very select group of people
- 5:03Speaker 2: to whom you wish to have an echo chamber with.
- 5:06Speaker 2: So good luck with that. Plenty of people out there
- 5:09Speaker 2: who would love to give their money, all of these
- 5:12Speaker 2: anti capitalists who want to spread their message. Yeah, it's
- 5:15Speaker 2: going to go real well, I'll tell you that much.
- 5:17Speaker 2: But Congressmanship Roy, whose community has been really hard hit
- 5:23Speaker 2: by these floods, he spoke today into hearing and it
- 5:27Speaker 2: was just so spot on. You know, it's kind of
- 5:30Speaker 2: like that Burgess Owens tape that I played the other day.
- 5:33Speaker 2: You know, sometimes if you really hone in and you
- 5:37Speaker 2: just focus on what you're saying, it's just remarkable what
- 5:42Speaker 2: you can achieve. And Congressmanship Roy of Texas did it. Here.
- 5:46Speaker 2: Take a listen.
- 5:47Speaker 3: There's a lot of folks here talking about and extolling
- 5:50Speaker 3: the virtues of NPR, PBS, public broadcasting and so forth,
- 5:54Speaker 3: and you know, talked about how you know they're cutting
- 5:57Speaker 3: their funding is somehow going to endanger unities and rural communities. Well,
- 6:01Speaker 3: when the floods were hitting the people that I represent,
- 6:05Speaker 3: it took NPR through Texas Public Radio, nineteen hours to
- 6:09Speaker 3: post anything about the flooding on its social media. What
- 6:12Speaker 3: was NPR and TPR doing in the introm What were
- 6:15Speaker 3: they doing in the morning at four, five, six, seven
- 6:17Speaker 3: in the morning, when private radio stations that I listened
- 6:20Speaker 3: to and that I talked to were breaking in and
- 6:23Speaker 3: presenting the information of the news, They were playing a program,
- 6:27Speaker 3: a DC based program lobbying Congress for billions of dollars
- 6:31Speaker 3: to continue their funding. When the flood hit at four
- 6:33Speaker 3: in the morning, instead of providing local news, they were
- 6:36Speaker 3: airing the morning edition of the Washington d C. Well,
- 6:38Speaker 3: that's fine, they already had a pre tape. I get that.
- 6:40Speaker 3: But they didn't break in like the local stations did.
- 6:43Speaker 3: And so forth. The seven private stations posted over seventy
- 6:46Speaker 3: alerts on their social pages throughout the day, starting at
- 6:48Speaker 3: seven to twenty four in the morning. My point being,
- 6:51Speaker 3: private stations in the communities in which I live were
- 6:54Speaker 3: there for the people of Texas. They were there presenting
- 6:57Speaker 3: the information necessary, and the public stations were.
- 7:01Speaker 2: I mean, well done, sir, exactly right. This is what
- 7:05Speaker 2: we're talking about. If you cannot be there when you
- 7:09Speaker 2: are most needed, then we will not be there for you.
- 7:13Speaker 2: There's absolutely no reason why an organization like MPR and
- 7:18Speaker 2: all the public radio stations should be getting any taxpayer
- 7:22Speaker 2: money if the only thing they want to push is
- 7:24Speaker 2: a liberal agenda when it suits them to do so.
- 7:27Speaker 2: And to his point, yeah, sure, okay, you had a
- 7:30Speaker 2: show that was pre taped. We understand it happens. But
- 7:34Speaker 2: when there's breaking news, that means it's happening right now.
- 7:38Speaker 2: So you have to get a reporter in there to
- 7:40Speaker 2: get on and to start telling people where to go
- 7:43Speaker 2: and what to do. And here's the thing. Public radio
- 7:47Speaker 2: is typically something that people in their community listen to
- 7:49Speaker 2: because a lot of times it's where they're going to get,
- 7:52Speaker 2: you know, their local information if it's being run right.
- 7:57Speaker 2: So if at that time, you know, and everything's falling apart,
- 8:01Speaker 2: the only thing they had was the radio in their car,
- 8:04Speaker 2: or a transistor radio that they had in their house
- 8:07Speaker 2: or raybe in their garage or whatever it is, right,
- 8:10Speaker 2: it's a real problem if they can't get any information
- 8:14Speaker 2: because on those radios in your car and on those
- 8:17Speaker 2: transistor radios is where you get AM frequency, and that
- 8:20Speaker 2: AM frequency may be the difference between you finding your
- 8:23Speaker 2: way to higher ground, knowing that it's coming your way,
- 8:26Speaker 2: what direction it's coming, and being caught off guard and
- 8:30Speaker 2: not being able to live to see another day and
- 8:33Speaker 2: him really being so direct and to the point in
- 8:37Speaker 2: this hearing just kind of just set a tone in
- 8:41Speaker 2: my opinion, because they want to argue and say that,
- 8:44Speaker 2: you know, President Trump and his agenda and his administration
- 8:47Speaker 2: are just attacking the people's voice. Were you the voice
- 8:51Speaker 2: of the people that day July fourth weekend when little
- 8:54Speaker 2: children were dying and you were playing a can segment
- 8:57Speaker 2: because that was what was easier for you. And even
- 9:01Speaker 2: still you couldn't post on social media. Why wouldn't you
- 9:04Speaker 2: put a post on social media? How hard is that?
- 9:08Speaker 2: I don't know. It's you get to this spot where
- 9:11Speaker 2: there just aren't any excuses left and you have to say, well,
- 9:14Speaker 2: that's wilful you willfully didn't post that, you wilfully didn't
- 9:18Speaker 2: put in the extra effort. You willfully made a decision
- 9:22Speaker 2: not to help because of your political affiliations and what
- 9:26Speaker 2: you thought was more important. And that's what happened there.
- 9:29Speaker 2: And you know kudos to Chip Roy for having the
- 9:32Speaker 2: balls to say it and kind of lay it on
- 9:34Speaker 2: the line, because that's what we need more of. We
- 9:36Speaker 2: need more people doing that, and we need more people
- 9:39Speaker 2: speaking out. And it's it's an over it's an overarching
- 9:44Speaker 2: problem throughout our country with people not being able to
- 9:50Speaker 2: address real issues and common sense issues. As I was
- 9:54Speaker 2: saying in the last episode, hed guy emailed me today.
- 9:59Speaker 2: I don't know he got my email from god knows where,
- 10:02Speaker 2: but he sent this email to me and he goes,
- 10:04Speaker 2: you guys need to stop talking about Mom Donnie. You
- 10:08Speaker 2: guys need to stop talking about AOC and the squad
- 10:11Speaker 2: and Bernie Sanders and all the things that are doing wrong,
- 10:13Speaker 2: and you need to start talking about conservative candidates that
- 10:17Speaker 2: can replace them. And I agree with that. I do
- 10:20Speaker 2: think we need to spend more time talking about the
- 10:23Speaker 2: voices that will actually make a difference and can replace
- 10:28Speaker 2: the seats of rabbit and hyperliberal Democrats. Without question, here's
- 10:35Speaker 2: a problem. People like Kamidani have so much money. While
- 10:42Speaker 2: he screams that he is a man of the people
- 10:45Speaker 2: and says that no one should own private property and
- 10:48Speaker 2: we should all be in government food stores and capitalism
- 10:53Speaker 2: should be a thing of the past. He comes from privilege,
- 10:58Speaker 2: as do most of the these lunatics, covering their faces
- 11:02Speaker 2: in their heads because they believe in their message so
- 11:05Speaker 2: much they don't want you to know who they are.
- 11:07Speaker 2: I mean, honestly, that's what we're dealing with. I saw
- 11:10Speaker 2: one of these idiots get arrested the other day and
- 11:11Speaker 2: he's screaming because the police are unmasking them so that
- 11:15Speaker 2: they can write down descriptions and figure out who they are.
- 11:18Speaker 2: And he's screaming that he has a right to have
- 11:20Speaker 2: his mask on in the police officer she just looked
- 11:23Speaker 2: at him. She's like, no, you don't. You do not
- 11:25Speaker 2: have a right to cover your face right now. You
- 11:27Speaker 2: will be exposed for doing what you're doing and protesting
- 11:31Speaker 2: if you believe in anti Semitism so much that you
- 11:36Speaker 2: want to come up to where young people are trying
- 11:38Speaker 2: to go to school or head in for an extra
- 11:41Speaker 2: class or whatever it is in the summer, and you
- 11:43Speaker 2: want to come up and scream at them as a
- 11:44Speaker 2: man I don't know the sky looklike. He was probably
- 11:47Speaker 2: in his late forties early fifties, screaming and yelling at
- 11:50Speaker 2: these kids because they're Jewish. You don't want anybody know
- 11:52Speaker 2: who you are. Oh well, too late, we're going to
- 11:56Speaker 2: start exposing you. But my point in saying that is
- 12:00Speaker 2: there is this blind herd mentality of just going along
- 12:05Speaker 2: with this ridiculous Kami Donnie Bernie Sanders AOC. And what
- 12:11Speaker 2: I would love to see happen is to have these
- 12:14Speaker 2: idiots sit down and have to answer real questions. I
- 12:18Speaker 2: don't think they could. I don't think they could tell
- 12:21Speaker 2: you. You know. You know, like Kami Donnie says he's a
- 12:24Speaker 2: socialist or whatever. He couldn't tell you the tenets of socialism.
- 12:27Speaker 2: He couldn't tell you where it worked, because it never did.
- 12:30Speaker 2: But he couldn't tell you what nation it originated from,
- 12:34Speaker 2: or how it worked in other countries. You know, how
- 12:37Speaker 2: did people fare after communism?
- 12:40Speaker 3: You know?
- 12:40Speaker 2: And then you have people like from Russia, from Cuba,
- 12:43Speaker 2: from Georgia, you know, talking to you and saying you
- 12:47Speaker 2: have no idea what it is like to be under
- 12:50Speaker 2: the thumb of the government that wants to oppress you
- 12:53Speaker 2: and keep you and not allow you to do anything.
- 12:57Speaker 2: If you just take a look at what has happened
- 13:00Speaker 2: right now in the streets of Spain, or take a
- 13:03Speaker 2: look at what is happening in London. You know, it's
- 13:08Speaker 2: all across the UK, but London's pretty bad. And I
- 13:11Speaker 2: remember going to London just like five or six years
- 13:13Speaker 2: ago and thinking, man, I don't see a lot of
- 13:17Speaker 2: people from London here. And I started to ask, well,
- 13:20Speaker 2: where are you from? Where are you from? Just asking
- 13:22Speaker 2: I'm from Afghanistan, I'm from Pakistan. Oh okay, I'm from Uzbekistan.
- 13:29Speaker 2: Uh huh why are you here?
- 13:32Speaker 3: Oh?
- 13:32Speaker 2: Well, we're spreading the word of Islam. Oh that's great, Okay,
- 13:37Speaker 2: it's they weren't like, oh, we wanted a better life
- 13:39Speaker 2: or we heard it. You know, my husband and my
- 13:42Speaker 2: wife had a great job opportunity. It's oh, they have
- 13:45Speaker 2: a really good welfare program, and so we thought we'd
- 13:47Speaker 2: come and loafer around for you know, I don't know
- 13:49Speaker 2: fifty sixty years what I remember a guy I used
- 13:53Speaker 2: to work with and he married a girl from Germany,
- 13:56Speaker 2: and it was like right, it was right before Trump.
- 14:00Speaker 2: It was like maybe like twenty fourteen, and we were
- 14:01Speaker 2: talking and he said, I'm gonna leave, I'm gonna go.
- 14:04Speaker 2: I'm gonna marry my wife and we're gonna go there
- 14:06Speaker 2: and have our kids and live our life in Germany.
- 14:08Speaker 2: And I was like why and he's like, well, you
- 14:10Speaker 2: get subsidies and I would be an immigrant. I'm like
- 14:14Speaker 2: that that's why you want to go to Germany. He's
- 14:16Speaker 2: like yeah, because then I could work less and you know,
- 14:18Speaker 2: we could just spend more time. And I'm like, what
- 14:20Speaker 2: is this mentality. I'm not saying work has to be
- 14:24Speaker 2: your whole life, but the lack of desire to work,
- 14:27Speaker 2: to have your own money, to be your own person,
- 14:30Speaker 2: this is like a it's like an illness. And I
- 14:34Speaker 2: really commend you know, the people like in California that
- 14:39Speaker 2: started looking into who was funding all the rioters, because
- 14:41Speaker 2: once they did, it all stopped right because those people
- 14:44Speaker 2: didn't work. They were getting paid to riot and they
- 14:47Speaker 2: were just loafing around all day, blocking the streets and
- 14:50Speaker 2: blocking the highways and blocking the roads for regular folks
- 14:53Speaker 2: like me and you that are trying to get to work.
- 14:57Speaker 2: I mean, it's just it's a it's an entire higher
- 15:00Speaker 2: cultural mindset in this country that we are unable to
- 15:04Speaker 2: just say what is happening and this whole thing of like,
- 15:09Speaker 2: you know, we are trying to take illegals out of
- 15:12Speaker 2: our country because you know, we don't like black and
- 15:14Speaker 2: brown people, and the only people in the detention center
- 15:17Speaker 2: are black and brown people. There's no Europeans there. Well,
- 15:21Speaker 2: let's talk about that for a minute. If the most
- 15:25Speaker 2: amount of crossings came from the southern border, and the
- 15:29Speaker 2: southern border borders Mexico and people from Latin America, not
- 15:37Speaker 2: just Latin America, because we did have people there from
- 15:39Speaker 2: China because the cartels were working with people in Mexico
- 15:43Speaker 2: and shipping people over from China. But that's a little
- 15:45Speaker 2: bit of a rabbit hole. But who do you expect
- 15:49Speaker 2: to be in the detention centers. There's a larger scale
- 15:54Speaker 2: of people coming from Ecuador, Honduras, uh Uruguay, and Mexico.
- 16:04Speaker 2: They're not coming from Croatia. So yeah, you're going to
- 16:09Speaker 2: see more people that are Hispanic. That's just the way
- 16:13Speaker 2: it is. And these Congress people are saying it like
- 16:17Speaker 2: it's a selective, you know, opportunity for the ICE agents
- 16:21Speaker 2: to go. Now this time, we're going to take five
- 16:23Speaker 2: whites and four blacks and three Hispanics. That's not what's happening.
- 16:28Speaker 2: They're rating places that they know have under you know,
- 16:33Speaker 2: underlying issues with cartels, money, laundering, human trafficking, sex trafficking,
- 16:39Speaker 2: labor trafficking, and the illegal use of minors for all
- 16:43Speaker 2: of it. So we should be we should be in
- 16:47Speaker 2: favor of this, We should be happy about this. We
- 16:50Speaker 2: should be saying, yes, go and save the children. But
- 16:54Speaker 2: they don't. They can't. And it's interesting, you know, if
- 16:58Speaker 2: we look at the way that illegal aliens were treated
- 17:02Speaker 2: when Obama and Biden were in office, and we look
- 17:05Speaker 2: at those detention centers, those were terrible detention centers. Those
- 17:10Speaker 2: people were wrapped up in tinfoil, They had no place
- 17:13Speaker 2: to go to the bathroom. The cages literally look like
- 17:16Speaker 2: something you would see outside for animals. Now we have
- 17:20Speaker 2: facilities where we're trying to keep people held until we
- 17:24Speaker 2: can figure out what is going on with their immigration status.
- 17:29Speaker 2: And it's not a perfect system, and nobody's saying it is,
- 17:32Speaker 2: but it took a long time to break it, so
- 17:34Speaker 2: it's going to take a little time to fix it.
- 17:36Speaker 2: And since we're just about six months and I think
- 17:39Speaker 2: we're doing okay, doesn't mean we're not going to have mistakes,
- 17:42Speaker 2: and some of them are going to be big. But
- 17:44Speaker 2: this whole idea that we are running Nazi camps I mean,
- 17:49Speaker 2: that's disgusting. Have you do not know your history at all?
- 17:53Speaker 2: I mean, just go read the diary of Van Frank.
- 17:56Speaker 2: You want to talk about what really happened, and you
- 18:01Speaker 2: really want to talk about how people had to hide
- 18:03Speaker 2: for their lives. These people are not hiding for their lives.
- 18:07Speaker 2: They came here willingly, They worked here illegally and made
- 18:12Speaker 2: a choice to not become legal. They had a long
- 18:16Speaker 2: time to become legal, they didn't. There's people who have
- 18:20Speaker 2: lived here for twenty thirty years and they'll tell you
- 18:23Speaker 2: I never learned the language. I've always worked. I always
- 18:26Speaker 2: send my money back. So they're repatriating funds to their
- 18:30Speaker 2: countries of origin. They're not putting money back into the system.
- 18:34Speaker 2: And then you wonder why our debt and deficitors so ridiculously. Hi,
- 18:38Speaker 2: That's why it is a serious struggle to talk to
- 18:46Speaker 2: people about the things that they're saying when everything they're
- 18:50Speaker 2: saying is so egregiously false. And I was saying to
- 18:56Speaker 2: the other day there should be accountability for them. There
- 19:00Speaker 2: should be some sort of I don't know, penalty for
- 19:06Speaker 2: lying when you're testifying or making a statement in front
- 19:10Speaker 2: of Congress. You know, Jasmine Crockett, AOC, Zaia, Paul Rashida,
- 19:19Speaker 2: shalib Il had Omar. These are all terrible people. Then
- 19:25Speaker 2: you couple those idiots because they're like the newer idiots
- 19:29Speaker 2: with the Senator Warrens, the Senator Warners, Senator Cornyn, Senator Thune,
- 19:36Speaker 2: previously Senator McConnell, Speaker Pulos, Chuck Schumer. I mean, these
- 19:41Speaker 2: people have made a career out of lying on the
- 19:44Speaker 2: House floor. It's one thing to bend the truth so
- 19:47Speaker 2: that it sounds more like it's on your side and
- 19:50Speaker 2: that the Democrats are doing better than the Republicans. But
- 19:53Speaker 2: that's not what's happening. It's just out and outlying. They're
- 19:57Speaker 2: saying things that are not true, and nobody ever calls
- 20:00Speaker 2: them on it. Like if I was a reporter and
- 20:03Speaker 2: I was in some kind of gaggle and AOC was
- 20:05Speaker 2: saying things like they're just kept in horrible conditions, I
- 20:09Speaker 2: would say, Okay, so what justifies horrible to you? What's
- 20:13Speaker 2: horrible about it? What did you see? Well, they're in cages. Okay,
- 20:17Speaker 2: Well that was under Biden and Obama. They're not in
- 20:19Speaker 2: cages anymore. Now, they're at detention facilities. So they're places
- 20:23Speaker 2: with beds, cots, and bathrooms. What are you upset about?
- 20:27Speaker 2: Are you upset because we weren't letting them rome free.
- 20:30Speaker 2: What's more important American victims and their lives that were
- 20:34Speaker 2: taken too soon, unfairly in some cases, just the worst
- 20:40Speaker 2: and absolut most horrific way as possible by people who
- 20:43Speaker 2: never should have been here, or people who never should
- 20:46Speaker 2: have been here going through a process of being deported
- 20:52Speaker 2: and being given the option to work with DHS and
- 20:55Speaker 2: ICE so that they can come back legally. That's what
- 20:58Speaker 2: you're comparing to Nazi concentration camps. Is absolutely disgusting. Then
- 21:04Speaker 2: I think they should be charged. I think that for
- 21:07Speaker 2: every lie that they tell on the floor, they're charged
- 21:10Speaker 2: fifty to one hundred dollars. I guarantee you it will stop.
- 21:15Speaker 2: Without accountability. We cannot expect change because there is no
- 21:19Speaker 2: incentive to stop. So this is what we have to do.
- 21:22Speaker 2: We have to start making them It's almost like when
- 21:24Speaker 2: you swear and you got to put a dollar in
- 21:25Speaker 2: the cookie jar. You have to make them accountable. You
- 21:29Speaker 2: want to lie on the floors of Congress, no problem.
- 21:32Speaker 2: Fifty bucks for every lie you tell, fifty bucks and
- 21:37Speaker 2: I'm talking about out and out lies and saying stupid
- 21:39Speaker 2: things like the guy who says it's completely racist and
- 21:42Speaker 2: we're targeting black and brown people, or it's cages like
- 21:46Speaker 2: Nazi camps. Or the woman who said that she was kidnapped,
- 21:51Speaker 2: you know, by ice meanwhile, was all fake and stage
- 21:53Speaker 2: and the liberal media never corrects it. That's the stuff
- 21:57Speaker 2: we're talking about. And part of it is because we
- 21:59Speaker 2: have raised an entire generation of weak people, very weak
- 22:03Speaker 2: people who don't know how to stand out for themselves
- 22:06Speaker 2: and sure as hell know how to stand up for
- 22:07Speaker 2: the country. And to that point, I found a very
- 22:11Speaker 2: very funny piece of audio that I'm going to end
- 22:14Speaker 2: the show with tonight. I think you're really gonna enjoy it.
- 22:17Speaker 2: It's woke as a joke, meets your grandparents, pretty funny stuff.
- 22:22Speaker 2: Take a listen.
- 22:23Speaker 3: I just want to rest, Paul. Paul, you've been resting
- 22:26Speaker 3: since birth son shovels over there, Grandma.
- 22:30Speaker 2: I need a safe space. Go stand in the shed
- 22:33Speaker 2: and talk to Jesus.
- 22:35Speaker 3: I think I need a mental health day. Back in
- 22:39Speaker 3: my day, we called that Saturday.
- 22:42Speaker 2: I've got anxiety problems, sweetheart. When I had anxiety, I
- 22:47Speaker 2: called it Wednesday and kept on cooking.
- 22:50Speaker 3: I'm having an existential crisis. Try having doubt and a mortgage, Grandma,
- 22:56Speaker 3: I need to find myself.
- 22:58Speaker 2: Try the mirror. Unless that's too Grandma, I've got low
- 23:03Speaker 2: self esteem.
- 23:05Speaker 3: So do these biscuits still rise?
- 23:07Speaker 2: Anyway? I just got dumped again? So did last night's
- 23:14Speaker 2: cast role? Move on? How funny is that? Right? This
- 23:22Speaker 2: is the way that kids need to be raised. You
- 23:25Speaker 2: spend way too much time taking pictures of yourself, taking
- 23:30Speaker 2: pictures of your food, taking pictures of the sky, taking
- 23:33Speaker 2: pictures of I mean whatever, Go to work, read a book,
- 23:39Speaker 2: touch some grass. Dear God, enough already. I can't even imagine, honestly,
- 23:49Speaker 2: what would happen today if we were ever under attack.
- 23:54Speaker 2: I was talking to a friend yesterday and he said
- 23:57Speaker 2: to me, I have this new position, but I'm looking
- 24:00Speaker 2: for somebody fifty or older because I can't find anybody
- 24:04Speaker 2: younger that has the ability to work and think critically.
- 24:09Speaker 2: How sad is that? I was like, oh my god,
- 24:14Speaker 2: he said, I keep hiring them, and I have to
- 24:15Speaker 2: fire them because they're late, or they're on their phone,
- 24:18Speaker 2: or they're in the bathroom too long, because they have
- 24:20Speaker 2: to vape. Or whatever they're I mean, it's absurd. This
- 24:25Speaker 2: just isn't the way that real life works. It's just
- 24:29Speaker 2: not And at some point it's all going to come
- 24:33Speaker 2: back to bite U in the as, so we might
- 24:34Speaker 2: as well wake up now and try to fix it.
- 24:37Speaker 2: This is the Rogue Recap. I am Linda McLaughlin. Thank
