- 0:09Speaker 1: What if you think about it, it could be more
- 0:11Speaker 1: than that. A majority of the country and they want
- 0:15Speaker 1: to see And when Biden went out, you know on
- 0:17Speaker 1: occasion say we have to we will stop MAGA.
- 0:20Speaker 2: We will stop.
- 0:21Speaker 1: They say, no, let's make America great again. You know,
- 0:25Speaker 1: he's got to stop MAGA. So anyway, so it's been
- 0:28Speaker 1: very successful. But now we're in the middle of an election,
- 0:31Speaker 1: right smack in the middle.
- 0:32Speaker 2: Right now, Well, we're in the home street.
- 0:34Speaker 1: Yep, we have we have nineteen days left, but the
- 0:39Speaker 1: voting starts. You know, voting should be one day and
- 0:41Speaker 1: should be nineteen days or twenty days. It should, you know,
- 0:45Speaker 1: we have we have something. I think that's going to
- 0:48Speaker 1: be special. The numbers are very good, but who knows.
- 0:52Speaker 1: You know, you have to just keep working and it's
- 0:56Speaker 1: an honor to do the show with you guys.
- 0:58Speaker 2: Yes, sir, that means a lot to us.
- 1:00Speaker 3: And given then, you know, most people don't realize the
- 1:02Speaker 3: schedule that we kept back then too, which was on
- 1:06Speaker 3: the road over two hundred days a year, and that's
- 1:08Speaker 3: in the ring.
- 1:09Speaker 2: So I mean they were really hard.
- 1:11Speaker 1: So that was wow.
- 1:12Speaker 2: That's a yeah.
- 1:14Speaker 3: You just it's a crazy thing and you just condition
- 1:17Speaker 3: your body to it where you don't even after you
- 1:20Speaker 3: do it so much, you just don't even think about it.
- 1:22Speaker 1: How often did it out of somebody and they call
- 1:24Speaker 1: up and they say, get that guy out of the
- 1:27Speaker 1: room or put somebody else in fro right, yeah, right,
- 1:29Speaker 1: you got to fight two guys instead of it's good.
- 1:32Speaker 1: So we have a second one that we said, well no,
- 1:36Speaker 1: but that was on this one man because it's a
- 1:38Speaker 1: one man, you know, it's one thing. And then the
- 1:41Speaker 1: debate was like a big deal and that's over and
- 1:45Speaker 1: you think you have it won, and all of a
- 1:47Speaker 1: sudden they replace and then the new person always has
- 1:51Speaker 1: a honeymoon period, so she got six weeks of a
- 1:53Speaker 1: honeymoon period. Everybody thought good. They didn't think good of
- 1:56Speaker 1: her before. In fact, she was the last of thirteen
- 1:59Speaker 1: people that was going to be chosen. But they want
- 2:01Speaker 1: to be politically correct, so they picked this person and
- 2:05Speaker 1: she's not qualified. She got no votes. You know, she
- 2:08Speaker 1: dropped out. You know, she ran against Biden and she
- 2:10Speaker 1: dropped out. She's got no votes. They had thirteen people.
- 2:14Speaker 1: She was number thirteen, and they picked her, and I
- 2:17Speaker 1: guess that's okay. I don't know the process is pretty
- 2:21Speaker 1: smart enough, right. A woman sees this guy running. He's
- 2:26Speaker 1: running across the street. Now, who would do this? It's
- 2:29Speaker 1: fairly busy street, big you know, Congress. And she sees
- 2:35Speaker 1: him and she said, he's suspicious. I see people running
- 2:38Speaker 1: all the time that don't look so hot. But she
- 2:41Speaker 1: follows him for one block. He gets into the car.
- 2:46Speaker 1: She stops her car, starts taking pictures of his license plate,
- 2:51Speaker 1: and starts taking pictures of the type of car it was.
- 2:54Speaker 1: It was whatever, a van of some kind. And she
- 2:59Speaker 1: then takes the picture and sends him to the sheriff.
- 3:03Speaker 2: Who would do this?
- 3:04Speaker 1: And the sheriff says, wow, because they just had an
- 3:07Speaker 1: incident only happened three minutes before. So the sheriff then
- 3:12Speaker 1: gets a picture and he just had a call that
- 3:14Speaker 1: there's this big deal.
- 3:15Speaker 3: Going Emily, and they're they're setting over there. My my
- 3:20Speaker 3: political interests uh title nine, you met my daughter? Yes,
- 3:29Speaker 3: what are we gonna what are we going to do?
- 3:31Speaker 3: Or what are you going to do if elected? To
- 3:35Speaker 3: protect the integrity of women in sports and continue on
- 3:42Speaker 3: with just the fair play. And I don't I don't
- 3:45Speaker 3: mean to put you on the spot. And I appreciate
- 3:48Speaker 3: everything why But but I want to put a face
- 3:50Speaker 3: to it. If you can, can I bring my daughter
- 3:53Speaker 3: absolutely here?
- 3:57Speaker 1: Wow, we do this? I said, I'm going to do
- 3:59Speaker 1: it because I'm a fan. You know, I really think
- 4:02Speaker 1: you've done a great job. What is this? So tell
- 4:04Speaker 1: me what this is?
- 4:05Speaker 3: Also it's on my podcast. This guy here, I don't know,
- 4:11Speaker 3: eight years ago comes. He works for a veteran owned
- 4:15Speaker 3: and operated company nine line, very patriotic.
- 4:20Speaker 2: Aparel company ever? And what is it best? What apparel company? Ever?
- 4:25Speaker 2: Is that right? We're veteran, known and operated. Yes, sir,
- 4:28Speaker 2: give back charity built fifty tiny homes for almost better.
- 4:31Speaker 3: You're extremely busy. I think you have to go to
- 4:34Speaker 3: Michigan now. I just appreciate you giving us the opportunity
- 4:38Speaker 3: and and thank you for taking care of women's sports
- 4:43Speaker 3: obviously near and dear to my heart.
- 4:45Speaker 1: It's I bet you're going to be a good athlete, right, Yes?
- 4:48Speaker 2: Are you good?
- 4:49Speaker 3: Now?
- 4:49Speaker 1: Very good? What sport do you play other than the football?
- 4:53Speaker 2: So right now I'm just playing football because it takes
- 4:57Speaker 2: up a lot of my time. But I think when
- 5:00Speaker 2: I get.
- 5:00Speaker 1: To school, what position you're playing football? We're back? WHOA,
- 5:05Speaker 1: that's good? And you have good hands for that, I say.
- 5:07Speaker 2: Yet she got a pretty good arms.
- 5:09Speaker 1: Got a little bit of an arm. Huh, that's good. Well,
- 5:12Speaker 1: I'll be watching. Okay, I'll be watching.
- 5:14Speaker 2: It'll be in the Olympics.
- 5:16Speaker 1: You have to do me if I tell your father
- 5:19Speaker 1: that we had a great time, we're sitting down and
- 5:21Speaker 1: we look a little it's funny, you know, the real
- 5:25Speaker 1: experience kind of thing. I don't know if you've ever
- 5:27Speaker 1: experienced it, but a lot of people do. Where something
- 5:30Speaker 1: happens it's so big. And don't forget, I had thousand
- 5:34Speaker 1: more than you have in wrestling matches, you know, times
- 5:37Speaker 1: three if you fill up, and you know, I had
- 5:39Speaker 1: thousands of people out there. So number one is sort
- 5:42Speaker 1: of embarrassing. You know, you're speaking and all of a
- 5:45Speaker 1: sudden you're getting down on the floor. A lot of
- 5:49Speaker 1: amazing things happened. Number one. The the you could go
- 5:55Speaker 1: them fans, but the patriots, they were really patriots. They
- 5:58Speaker 1: didn't move, and there were a lot of shots for it,
- 6:01Speaker 1: at least eight. It's a lot, And the crowd control
- 6:06Speaker 1: expert said that one in particular set it's amazing because
- 6:09Speaker 1: when they hear both say no, do you play other
- 6:11Speaker 1: than the football. What position you're playing football? WHOA, that's
- 6:16Speaker 1: good and you have good hands for that? I say, she.
- 6:20Speaker 2: Got a pretty good arms.
- 6:20Speaker 1: Got a little bit of an arm. Huh, that's good. Well,
- 6:23Speaker 1: I'll be watching. Okay, I'll be watching.
- 6:26Speaker 2: Time.
- 6:26Speaker 1: We're sitting down and we look a little bit equal,
- 6:29Speaker 1: a little bit equal. Tell your father not to show
- 6:32Speaker 1: any picture where we're standing up together, because I don't
- 6:35Speaker 1: want to look like a small person. Do you understand
- 6:38Speaker 1: when you tell him that you'll watch that for me?
- 6:41Speaker 2: Yes?
- 6:41Speaker 1: Okay, do you understand that everybody? Because I've never felt
- 6:45Speaker 1: that small before. It was great, fellas, you're something very special.
- 6:53Speaker 1: Take care of yourself, appreciate it.
- 6:55Speaker 2: Thanks you see you again.
- 6:56Speaker 1: We'll see again. Get out and vote. I mean, I
- 6:58Speaker 1: know you're supposed to interview, but I find it very anxious.
- 7:01Speaker 1: How often did it happen where somebody gets really angry?
- 7:03Speaker 1: In other words, you hit a guy accidentally the wrong
- 7:06Speaker 1: way or something, and and he's had it. And these
- 7:10Speaker 1: are tough guys to start off with. You know, they're
- 7:11Speaker 1: not babies. How often did it happen where you're fighting
- 7:15Speaker 1: somebody and you made a mistake and you really got
- 7:18Speaker 1: and he gets angry and he and he really goes
- 7:20Speaker 1: at you.
- 7:20Speaker 3: Yeah, you know, back in the day, like so I
- 7:24Speaker 3: started with with Vincent nineteen ninety. But before that, you know,
- 7:29Speaker 3: in the late eighties and stuff like that, guys were
- 7:32Speaker 3: really salty and they didn't they didn't take too many.
- 7:36Speaker 3: You know, you're supposed to be a professional, and usually
- 7:39Speaker 3: guys would you think, well, if he hit me like that,
- 7:42Speaker 3: then you know it was for a reason. So you know,
- 7:45Speaker 3: you'd get a they'd mix it up in the ring
- 7:46Speaker 3: for a little bit, and then they'd get back in
- 7:48Speaker 3: the locker round.
- 7:48Speaker 1: Well what happened the guys would run into the ring
- 7:51Speaker 1: and stop it, right.
- 7:53Speaker 3: Yeah, No, A lot of the guys I'm really close with,
- 7:56Speaker 3: and then there's some guys that I don't care much for.
- 7:58Speaker 3: And but it's it's it's kind of like the way
- 8:02Speaker 3: I wish politics would get back to. Yeah, you know,
- 8:05Speaker 3: I may not agree with you, but I can I
- 8:08Speaker 3: can share a dressing room with you, I can shake
- 8:10Speaker 3: your hand, and we can do business.
- 8:13Speaker 2: And that's you know, that's how it is.
- 8:16Speaker 3: That there's some guys that you kind of naturally, you know,
- 8:19Speaker 3: you gravitate towards and become friends with and I had
- 8:22Speaker 3: a group of guys that were how many.
- 8:23Speaker 1: Years have you done it? It's got hit hard. It's
- 8:26Speaker 1: never been anything like it. Who would have ever thought
- 8:28Speaker 1: the word pandemic. I heard the word, but you never
- 8:30Speaker 1: thought it was like a modern day you figure nowadays
- 8:33Speaker 1: you take a shot and you're fine, right, it goes,
- 8:36Speaker 1: Everyone is fine. But we had a you know, it's
- 8:39Speaker 1: an ancient form of a disease in twenty seventeen that
- 8:43Speaker 1: killed one hundred million people, and we could have lost
- 8:47Speaker 1: one hundred million people do pretty easily. We lost many
- 8:49Speaker 1: millions of people all over the world. So I got
- 8:52Speaker 1: hit with that. We had a crazy election, which was
- 8:55Speaker 1: I won't get into it because I'm they're good, but
- 9:00Speaker 1: it was surprisingly you know, when I think back on it,
- 9:03Speaker 1: I was on the floor. I had blood pouring all
- 9:05Speaker 1: over the place. You would know this better than anybody
- 9:08Speaker 1: in the world. Probably. They say, when your ear gets damaged,
- 9:11Speaker 1: the blood, it's the bloodiest thing. It's very blood yeah,
- 9:14Speaker 1: and it has to do with cartilage. If your ear
- 9:17Speaker 1: gets cut or damage, it's very bloody. And you know
- 9:19Speaker 1: you probably yeah, I've had split yeah, yeah, more so
- 9:22Speaker 1: than like anything else, which is surprising. But I was
- 9:26Speaker 1: loaded up with blood, and but I was down, and
- 9:29Speaker 1: they thought I got hit numerous times all over the place,
- 9:33Speaker 1: and I said, nope, I got the ear. I want
- 9:35Speaker 1: to get up, Get me up. I'm squaming ware my
- 9:38Speaker 1: shoes because my shoes got dockedor when they when they jumped,
- 9:42Speaker 1: I mean they hit pretty hard, they were there fast,
- 9:45Speaker 1: they were very brave, and I don't know how that happened,
- 9:49Speaker 1: but my shoes got ripped off. So but it wasn't
- 9:53Speaker 1: a surreal experience.
- 9:55Speaker 3: Over thirty years, he's and he's like, he says, you know,
- 9:59Speaker 3: you've got this huge platform. You need to do something
- 10:02Speaker 3: with it. And my wife was the same way. She
- 10:05Speaker 3: was like, you, how long are you married? I have
- 10:08Speaker 3: been married for fourteen years.
- 10:10Speaker 1: Yes, this is your second marriage.
- 10:12Speaker 2: Who counts numbers? Numbers?
- 10:15Speaker 1: The second numbers a second. You can cut that part
- 10:19Speaker 1: of this sounds like it's gonna get a little bit.
- 10:23Speaker 3: I think, you know, I mean, I think you could relate,
- 10:25Speaker 3: like we both have kind of maybe out kicked our
- 10:28Speaker 3: coverage so much.
- 10:31Speaker 1: So much for that question.
- 10:32Speaker 2: Yeah, I'll take that question.
- 10:35Speaker 1: The answer started getting a little bit along bad thanks coming.
- 10:42Speaker 1: I never saw it quite like that. She didn't actually
- 10:44Speaker 1: go down. She walked back to a corner. She said,
- 10:47Speaker 1: it's harder than I've ever been.
- 10:49Speaker 2: Yeah, it was ridiculous.
- 10:50Speaker 1: The quarter pushes her back out. You can do it,
- 10:53Speaker 1: you can do but he goes with another left jeb
- 10:57Speaker 1: and she walked off. She said, I did. There's no
- 10:59Speaker 1: way I can be there now. There were two people
- 11:02Speaker 1: in the Olympics because I didn't even know they have
- 11:04Speaker 1: female boxing, there were two people that transitioned into women.
- 11:09Speaker 1: Both of them won the gold metal shocking. Are you
- 11:11Speaker 1: shocked to hear that?
- 11:12Speaker 2: Imagine that right? How would you like to.
- 11:14Speaker 1: Play this guy? Okay, he decides to transition. I don't
- 11:19Speaker 1: think we have to.
- 11:21Speaker 2: Somehow.
- 11:21Speaker 1: I don't think I don't think we have to worry
- 11:23Speaker 1: about but this would not be pleasant. It's been great
- 11:27Speaker 1: being with.
- 11:27Speaker 2: You, Yes, sir, thank you, thank you for that, and
- 11:33Speaker 2: I just going to this home stretch. I know you've
