A Prayer for When We Feel Like We’re in the Dark

Loving God,

there are moments

when we cannot see clearly.

Moments when we do not know

what is coming next,

or how we are going

to make our way through.

Moments we feel like we’re in the dark.

But even in the darkness,

there is still some light.

Help us hold onto that light.

Help us walk

in the light of your love

as far as we can see,

as much as we are able,

for as long as we can.

Amen.
