- 5:47Virginia, offering a unique education model for
- 5:50$65 ,000 a year. Students will study for just
- 5:55two hours a day using adaptive apps, while afternoons
- 5:59focus on essential life skills. Instead of traditional
- 6:03teachers, students will have guides. Co -founder
- 6:07Mackenzie Price emphasizes that children do not
- 6:10need to be in class all day. With support from
- 6:14influential backers, Alpha aims to expand into
- 6:17charter schools. Critics question the effectiveness
- 6:21of this model for less motivated students, but
- 6:24proponents argue it encourages individualized
- 6:27learning. In business news, Tech executives are
- 6:33urging young people to rethink the value of college
- 6:36degrees in light of industry changes. Palantir
- 6:40CEO Alex Karp stated that work performance is
- 6:43far more important than educational background,
- 6:46claiming that joining Palantir guarantees career

- 8:29are making groundbreaking strides in translating
- 8:32the inner monologue, which could be a game changer
- 8:35for patients facing mobility issues or speech
- 8:39-related disabilities. A team at Stanford's Neural
- 8:43Prosthetics Translational Laboratory has developed
- 8:46a brain -computer interface, or BCI, that interprets
- 8:50neural activity from the brain's motor cortex.
- 8:54This method allows for the decoding of imagined
- 8:57speech, providing a voice to individuals unable
- 9:00to communicate effectively. While current technology
- 9:04has a limited vocabulary and an error rate of
- 9:07up to 33%, future improvements may enhance accuracy
- 9:11and restore fluent speech to those affected by
- 9:14paralysis. Get ready for the 10 most important
- 9:22movies set to shake the awards season in 2025.
- 9:27From The Long Walk, based on a Steph King novel
- 9:30about a life -or -death walking contest, to One
- 9:33Battle After Another, featuring Paul Thomas Anderson
- 9:37and Leonardo DiCaprio, the lineup is intriguing.

- 10:11folks. It's time for the quote of the day. And
- 10:15today, our quote comes from the American inventor
- 10:18and visionary, Alexander Graham Bell. And he
- 10:22said, leave the beaten track occasionally and
- 10:26dive into the woods. Every time you do so, you
- 10:29will be certain to find something that you have
- 10:32never seen before. And that's a wrap for this
