1 Corinthians 2:1,5 -The Gospel Witness- Pastor Rick Beaudry 2024-02-11

Calvary Chapel Bremerton - Sunday Service · Feb 13, 2024 · 1h 33m

Pastor Rick Beaudry draws on 1 Corinthians 2:1,5 to urge us to proclaim a simple, sincere gospel focused on Jesus Christ and him crucified rather than dazzling rhetoric or worldly wisdom. He warns against watering down doctrine to appease culture or politicians, calls for consistent, content-rich Bible teaching, and presses us to be ready to reprove error with discernment. Emphasizing reliance on the Spirit's anointing over marketing or theatrics, he exhorts believers to be faithful witnesses who preach repentance, the resurrection, and the return of Christ while trusting God to open hearts.
