- 0:11Speaker 3: Former Christian Administration official.
- 0:12Speaker 4: You worked at Chris Christie and follow us each on
- 0:14Speaker 4: a lot of public service stuff.
- 0:15Speaker 5: Rich Valdez communists now with the Washington Times.
- 0:18Speaker 2: This is America, Richiev.
- 0:20Speaker 5: You're on the air with the Nation of the Nation
- 0:22Speaker 5: with America.
- 0:23Speaker 6: With your host, Rich Valdez.
- 0:27Speaker 5: What's up America. I am Rich Valdez Valdez with ans
- 0:30Speaker 5: at Rich Valdez on all of the social media. Welcome
- 0:33Speaker 5: to the Friday night edition of our program. I am
- 0:37Speaker 5: blessed and honored to be here with you. Give me
- 0:39Speaker 5: a call eight seven seven Valdes one eight seven seven
- 0:42Speaker 5: eight twenty five thirty three seventy one, Leave me a
- 0:45Speaker 5: message and get your comments on the show. And I
- 0:48Speaker 5: want to start with one of the biggest stories lighting
- 0:51Speaker 5: up the the Internet and all of that, which is
- 0:54Speaker 5: the latest right ed Trompitos and all this Magnus isn't
- 0:57Speaker 5: playing games with America's enemies. Today Friday, United States forces
- 1:02Speaker 5: launched strikes on multiple Alradian targets. That's in response to
- 1:05Speaker 5: a RAN's drone attack on a commercial ship in the
- 1:07Speaker 5: Strait of Horn moves and again that's a violation by
- 1:12Speaker 5: most standards of the ceasefire. Now, I'm sure they're going
- 1:15Speaker 5: to say we're coming back to the table only after
- 1:17Speaker 5: we throw a few missiles at your assets in the area.
- 1:20Speaker 5: This is how they do each and every time. But
- 1:23Speaker 5: this is what's going on. Our military has hit missile science,
- 1:26Speaker 5: drone facilities, you name it, we're hitting it. Trump is
- 1:29Speaker 5: making it crystal clear. You mess with shipping, you mess
- 1:32Speaker 5: with America's interests, and there will be consequences. So I
- 1:36Speaker 5: think it's important for us to have strong leadership here,
- 1:38Speaker 5: which means peace through that strength, not weakness, and not
- 1:44Speaker 5: through endless apologies. Right, So we'll get into that in
- 1:48Speaker 5: a little bit. But I do have a clip that
- 1:49Speaker 5: I want you to hear from El Trompezo, donaldos Magnus himself,
- 1:53Speaker 5: go right.
- 1:53Speaker 7: Ahead on violated the ceasefire.
- 1:56Speaker 8: Will they face any consequences you'll find out?
- 2:00Speaker 7: Do you consider the cease fire to still be in place.
- 2:02Speaker 9: I don't like the fact that they took a shot yesterday,
- 2:06Speaker 9: actually four we knocked down three at a ship, not
- 2:11Speaker 9: an allied ship, but a ship, a very expensive ship.
- 2:15Speaker 9: And it was fine, but it took a little beating.
- 2:19Speaker 9: They shouldn't be doing that. So you'll find out, will
- 2:21Speaker 9: you ask me?
- 2:22Speaker 7: You'll find out? Will you let's respond? What is your
- 2:23Speaker 7: message to Iran?
- 2:24Speaker 2: Respond?
- 2:25Speaker 7: Are you going to find out?
- 2:26Speaker 6: Sir?
- 2:26Speaker 7: Why do you think that they did that?
- 2:27Speaker 4: If the talks you said repeatedly, they're going, well, what
- 2:30Speaker 4: do you think the motivation is being run and attacking ship?
- 2:32Speaker 10: They were a little bit different. That's why I think
- 2:35Speaker 10: of it. Forty seven years no president did what we're doing.
- 2:40Speaker 10: So you just asked a question, you'll find out.
- 2:43Speaker 5: President Trump giving what I would say is probably one
- 2:46Speaker 5: of the best answers you could give, because again, the
- 2:48Speaker 5: media acts as if that the Iranian regime, right, the IRGC,
- 2:55Speaker 5: the Malas, the Islamic Republic of Iran, led by their
- 3:00Speaker 5: their radical clerics, are somehow reasonable people. So they're like,
- 3:05Speaker 5: but why would they do that? No, manly, I mean
- 3:09Speaker 5: it sounds like I'm you know, listening to my mom
- 3:12Speaker 5: and Maauela I watch on novela back in the days.
- 3:15Speaker 5: They get so shocked at the plot twists. The Iranians
- 3:18Speaker 5: have been bad actors for a long time. I don't
- 3:20Speaker 5: know how else to put that. I know some people say, oh,
- 3:23Speaker 5: those are those Republican talking points, you right wing crazy propaganda,
- 3:26Speaker 5: warhawk blah blah blah. Bottom line is these people do
- 3:30Speaker 5: bad things. They always have. You mean America doesn't do
- 3:33Speaker 5: bad things, rich Yep, I didn't say that we didn't
- 3:35Speaker 5: do bad things. I'll tell you one thing we don't do.
- 3:37Speaker 5: The government doesn't go around sanctioning people getting thrown off
- 3:41Speaker 5: of roofs because they're not wearing their burka or their hijab.
- 3:45Speaker 5: They don't stifle speech the way that these people do. Now,
- 3:49Speaker 5: I understand different rules. You know, when in Rome do
- 3:51Speaker 5: as the Romans do, I get it. My point is
- 3:53Speaker 5: these people. When was the last time you saw the
- 3:55Speaker 5: Americans or American terrorists with the support of the America
- 4:00Speaker 5: government hijacking a plane. Now, the closest you can get
- 4:05Speaker 5: to that is trying to call Ice a bunch of
- 4:07Speaker 5: terrorists or the United States military. But these people actually have,
- 4:11Speaker 5: you know, Joe Schmoe going up in the air and
- 4:13Speaker 5: taking planes and holding hostages, blowing things up, trying to
- 4:17Speaker 5: knock out ships in the middle of a ceasefire. This
- 4:20Speaker 5: is what they do. They're here to die. The women
- 4:25Speaker 5: have admitted that they breed the children so that they'll
- 4:28Speaker 5: have an army, not so they can have a family,
- 4:31Speaker 5: so they can have an army. And if I haven't
- 4:35Speaker 5: played that clip for you, it's not in English, it's translated.
- 4:39Speaker 5: But shocking to see this woman say, look, I have
- 4:42Speaker 5: my son. It's my honor of my life to see
- 4:44Speaker 5: my done die fortis cause that's why we keep having
- 4:47Speaker 5: children blew me away. I mean, it's kind of what
- 4:49Speaker 5: you think already, but when somebody tells you straight to
- 4:51Speaker 5: your face and now you know, it's like, hmmm, I
- 4:54Speaker 5: don't know anyway. Big wins we were talking about yesterday
- 4:58Speaker 5: for President Trump with the Supreme Court, a lot of
- 5:01Speaker 5: different things going on here. We're going to learn more
- 5:04Speaker 5: about what those winds mean. Oh and there's this one too,
- 5:07Speaker 5: President Trump ed Trump beto than all this magnus saying,
- 5:10Speaker 5: hold up a second. We're now selling gas for less
- 5:13Speaker 5: than we sold it for. At least barrels of oil
- 5:16Speaker 5: are cheaper than they were before we invaded Iran. And
- 5:20Speaker 5: I'm going to use everything I've got to investigate why
- 5:23Speaker 5: you guys are getting price gouged. And Trompito looking out
- 5:27Speaker 5: for the American people listen to this.
- 5:29Speaker 7: Like you said, yes, prices we're not coming down. Put out.
- 5:32Speaker 11: That's right.
- 5:32Speaker 7: You are a concern that there is price gouging. AI
- 5:37Speaker 7: take you advantage of the crisis. So can you want
- 5:40Speaker 7: me on that? So it's XR Mobile, it's show Run,
- 5:45Speaker 7: it's Shechelle, it's PP it's a lot of them.
- 5:51Speaker 10: The gasoline or the oil prices have come.
- 5:54Speaker 7: Down so much, and we are not.
- 5:57Speaker 10: Seeing anything at the pump by comparison to w should be.
- 6:01Speaker 7: We should be, in my opinion, at two.
- 6:04Speaker 10: Dollars and twenty five cents right now at the pump,
- 6:07Speaker 10: and we're higher than that. And we are doing a
- 6:11Speaker 10: big investigation. You know, they're not reducing the prices.
- 6:15Speaker 7: Commensurate with what's happening. Look, we are setting up think
- 6:20Speaker 7: of it.
- 6:21Speaker 10: Nineteen million barrels came out yesterday.
- 6:25Speaker 7: That is a flood. That's like a gusher, that's an
- 6:29Speaker 7: oil gusher.
- 6:31Speaker 10: And they should be much lower the gasoline prices, which
- 6:36Speaker 10: really is what people see more than anything else, but
- 6:38Speaker 10: you know, for their car. But the gasoline prices should
- 6:40Speaker 10: be much lower at the pump, and the oil companies
- 6:44Speaker 10: are possibly gouging.
- 6:46Speaker 7: I hope they're not. Otherwise, they're going to be in
- 6:48Speaker 7: big trouble. They're going to be in big trouble. We're
- 6:49Speaker 7: not going to play games I have. I told them,
- 6:55Speaker 7: I told them, don't gouge our people.
- 6:57Speaker 5: Don't gouge our people. Good Jobo. This is something that
- 7:01Speaker 5: I have to say I agree with. I've always been
- 7:03Speaker 5: fascinated at how they can raise the price of gas
- 7:06Speaker 5: at the pump at the drop of a dime. Iran
- 7:08Speaker 5: looked at us the wrong way, raise the raids right
- 7:11Speaker 5: right away. But then the second something happens to bring
- 7:14Speaker 5: it down. Oh, it takes five days. It takes four days.
- 7:17Speaker 5: Got to work its way through the system. What kind
- 7:19Speaker 5: of scamm are we running over here? So I'm glad
- 7:21Speaker 5: President Trump is doing that, taking on big oil. Where's
- 7:24Speaker 5: the left wing media now saying, Oh, Trump's always in
- 7:26Speaker 5: bed with the right wing causes? It sounds like he's
- 7:29Speaker 5: doing the right thing. Why because he's got a midterm
- 7:31Speaker 5: coming up? A I think he cares about the American people.
- 7:33Speaker 5: But even if he didn't, right, even if we make
- 7:35Speaker 5: that a moot point for political expediency, it makes sense.
- 7:39Speaker 5: And when you do things for political expediency that are
- 7:42Speaker 5: the will of the people. You've got a recipe for
- 7:45Speaker 5: a win, right even zoron Mam, Donnie gets that right
- 7:48Speaker 5: every now and again. Every now and again he does
- 7:50Speaker 5: things that you know, he knows his audience, he knows
- 7:52Speaker 5: his constituency, and he says, well, you know, I'm going
- 7:54Speaker 5: to be for this, even if the law says it's
- 7:56Speaker 5: not supposed to be that way. What does he care?
- 7:58Speaker 5: He doesn't care. Matter of fact, yesterday's a Supreme Court ruling.
- 8:02Speaker 5: He says, well, look, i don't care what the Supreme
- 8:04Speaker 5: Court says. I'm still going to I'm running my own
- 8:06Speaker 5: little country here called Manhattan, stan And hold on a second, mom,
- 8:10Speaker 5: diny'stan guess what. He makes his own rules, and he
- 8:13Speaker 5: is not going to abide by the Supreme Court. He's
- 8:15Speaker 5: made that much pretty clear. Go ahead.
- 8:17Speaker 12: Now. What that means when it comes to our city
- 8:20Speaker 12: is if you are worried about what this means for
- 8:22Speaker 12: your status, if you're worried about what this means for
- 8:24Speaker 12: your family, I would encourage you to call our Mayor's
- 8:28Speaker 12: office at Immigrant Affairs hotline, and you can do so
- 8:30Speaker 12: at one eight hundred three five four zero three sixty five. Again,
- 8:35Speaker 12: that's one eight hundred three five four zero three six
- 8:38Speaker 12: y five. Now, many of you know it's a city
- 8:41Speaker 12: of eight and a half million people. More than three
- 8:44Speaker 12: million of us were born elsewhere. I'm one of them.
- 8:47Speaker 12: We're a city that's proud of our immigrant heritage. And
- 8:51Speaker 12: when we think about especially what Haitian New Yorkers have
- 8:54Speaker 12: had to deal with, not just for weeks or month.
- 8:57Speaker 5: I like the Haitians personally, what is it that they've
- 8:59Speaker 5: had to deal with. I know you're saying, like at
- 9:02Speaker 5: home earthquakes, a horrible government, or you're saying they've gone
- 9:06Speaker 5: through something particularly bad here because of the temporary status
- 9:10Speaker 5: no longer being permanent and actually being temporary.
- 9:15Speaker 12: Months or years. But frankly, for decades, that's right.
- 9:19Speaker 5: For decades they had TPS, something that I don't think
- 9:22Speaker 5: anybody expected would be forever.
- 9:24Speaker 12: Right, They've seen a cruelty that has become normalized, and
- 9:29Speaker 12: to have it's.
- 9:30Speaker 5: A cruelty to enforce the laws. This was a court decision, sir,
- 9:33Speaker 5: not a cruelty.
- 9:34Speaker 12: People who frankly taught the world about freedom have their
- 9:38Speaker 12: own freedom be put in jeopardy by the actions of
- 9:40Speaker 12: a Supreme court in a federal administration.
- 9:42Speaker 5: There's a perfect example of what I'm talking about. He said,
- 9:45Speaker 5: the people that taught the world about freedom. How can
- 9:50Speaker 5: you be a Haitian and hear that and not want
- 9:53Speaker 5: to be his ally? Even if you don't like him,
- 9:55Speaker 5: you'll be like, you know, damn right, we talked them
- 9:57Speaker 5: about freedom. They don't know what we've been through. We've
- 9:59Speaker 5: had to eat small all animals, because of the poverty
- 10:01Speaker 5: being so bad, because of the corruption on our island,
- 10:04Speaker 5: because of the warlords, because of the cannibalism and the
- 10:07Speaker 5: voodoo and the craziness that happens in Haiti. And I'm
- 10:10Speaker 5: not saying anything bad on Haiti. These things have all
- 10:12Speaker 5: been reported. Right. I like the Haitian people, I really do.
- 10:16Speaker 7: So my.
- 10:18Speaker 5: Thinking here is again, Mamdannie is an expert at cow
- 10:21Speaker 5: towing to certain groups. That's what he does.
- 10:24Speaker 12: It is not only cruel, it's something that we will
- 10:26Speaker 12: not ever accept. And so we stand here as New
- 10:29Speaker 12: Yorker's proud of standing in solidarity and proud to do
- 10:33Speaker 12: everything that we can to keep people in their homes
- 10:35Speaker 12: and to keep people together.
- 10:36Speaker 5: All right, not much more to add there. This guy's
- 10:38Speaker 5: a fake, he's a phony, and he's a fraud, But
- 10:40Speaker 5: I do want to touch on this before we move on.
- 10:43Speaker 5: Congressman Brandon Gill was conducting a hearing and up on
- 10:48Speaker 5: Capitol Hill when Ms. Plata Plata was giving testimony on
- 10:53Speaker 5: a number of things, and she was asked a very
- 10:56Speaker 5: specific question and her answer to this in the affirmative
- 11:00Speaker 5: was pretty wild.
- 11:02Speaker 10: Check this out, just to ensure that individuals have access
- 11:05Speaker 10: to the food that they need to survive, or maybe
- 11:07Speaker 10: accessible to them.
- 11:08Speaker 13: Do they need sugary sodas to survive?
- 11:10Speaker 8: Some of them do?
- 11:11Speaker 13: Who do have low blood issues? Who make that right?
- 11:15Speaker 5: Some people need soda in order to survive? Some of
- 11:20Speaker 5: them do? She said, this is classic. I mean, I
- 11:24Speaker 5: can't get enough of these clips when you hear the
- 11:26Speaker 5: most crazy things, these absurdities, and I wish you could
- 11:30Speaker 5: see it. He's sitting there laughing. He's laughing his butt off,
- 11:33Speaker 5: because it's hard to keep a straight face when somebody's
- 11:35Speaker 5: looking at you straight faced telling you that people need
- 11:38Speaker 5: access to soda in order to survive.
- 11:41Speaker 13: We have kidney I think they need Coca Cola to survive.
- 11:44Speaker 5: He doubles down. Now she says people that have kidney
- 11:47Speaker 5: issues may need it to survive. I don't know about you,
- 11:51Speaker 5: but all my life i've heard you drink too much
- 11:53Speaker 5: of that stuff. You're gonna get diabetes and have kidney stones.
- 11:56Speaker 5: So what people with kidney problems need soda to survive.
- 11:59Speaker 5: I'm not going to do a chat GPT, I'm not
- 12:01Speaker 5: going to do a Google. I'm gonna let you correct
- 12:03Speaker 5: me if I'm wrong. If there are people out there
- 12:05Speaker 5: that need the sugared version of soda to survive because
- 12:10Speaker 5: of kidney disease, give me a call eight seven seven
- 12:12Speaker 5: while this one go ahead, play the tape.
- 12:15Speaker 13: Do you think that's the most appropriate use of our
- 12:17Speaker 13: tax dollars? I am not a physician, but medical records.
- 12:20Speaker 13: And next, you're just citing the health needs apparently of
- 12:24Speaker 13: the American people. So do the American people need coca
- 12:28Speaker 13: cola to survive?
- 12:29Speaker 12: I did not say that. I said that.
- 12:31Speaker 13: I'm asking you. I'm giving you the opportunity to say
- 12:34Speaker 13: yes or no. I will not answer for individuals and
- 12:38Speaker 13: their choices. You think that there are some Americans who
- 12:42Speaker 13: need Coca cola to survive? Is that your testimony?
- 12:45Speaker 4: I am happy to talk about the food, and don't
- 12:47Speaker 4: you just.
- 12:47Speaker 7: Don't know individuals.
- 12:49Speaker 13: You just don't know. I think most people can rationally
- 12:53Speaker 13: say that you don't need coca cola to survive.
- 12:55Speaker 5: Yeah, I would say that. Now, there was a point
- 12:57Speaker 5: in my life where PEPSI. Now, shoot, if I didn't
- 13:00Speaker 5: have my PEPSI might have been a rough day. But
- 13:02Speaker 5: this is part of the issue.
- 13:03Speaker 11: Right.
- 13:03Speaker 5: We look at this and we say, man, how is
- 13:05Speaker 5: it that we get people going to give testimony in Congress?
- 13:08Speaker 5: And I get it. They're trading barbs, right. She wants
- 13:11Speaker 5: to be snided with him, he wants to be slick
- 13:13Speaker 5: with her. But at the bottom of it all, this
- 13:17Speaker 5: is what they're here to do. That's his job. His
- 13:19Speaker 5: job is to provide oversight to these things. We're spending
- 13:22Speaker 5: tax payer dollars on these programs. She represents one of
- 13:25Speaker 5: those in some tangential sort of way, and she doesn't
- 13:28Speaker 5: want to come clean and say why they need access
- 13:31Speaker 5: to soda. You can't make that stuff up. Pretty wild stuff,
- 13:35Speaker 5: in my opinion, my humble opinion, maybe not so humble anyway.
- 13:39Speaker 5: What else we've got now, shifting gears? I want to
- 13:41Speaker 5: talk about something that's got a lot of people talking
- 13:43Speaker 5: and pretty gross. Stout. A fast food worker with an
- 13:48Speaker 5: illness was charged with poisoning someone after she spat on
- 13:53Speaker 5: their food. Surveillance cameras caught it, the customer got sick.
- 13:57Speaker 5: They believe the customer got sick. I'm not sure about
- 13:59Speaker 5: that part. And this woman was arrested and charged the
- 14:04Speaker 5: fast food worker. So we're going to get it to that,
- 14:06Speaker 5: because honestly, it's kind of crazy. I know it's a
- 14:09Speaker 5: you know, not an earth shuttering story, but it is Friday,
- 14:11Speaker 5: so I'm letting my hair down, and I have a question.
- 14:14Speaker 5: Can we rewire the negativity in our brains? Some coaches
- 14:20Speaker 5: and therapists say that we can, and I would venture
- 14:23Speaker 5: to say I'm sure we could, but some people don't
- 14:25Speaker 5: know how deep that is, right, whether it's trauma related,
- 14:28Speaker 5: if you were bred to be negative, et cetera, et cetera.
- 14:31Speaker 5: So more on that. It's a pretty wild story and
- 14:34Speaker 5: the power of resetting your brain in our Dear Richie
- 14:37Speaker 5: Personal Advice segment that's coming up at the bottom of
- 14:40Speaker 5: the hour. Of course, if you want to get in
- 14:42Speaker 5: on that, you can call and leave a message with
- 14:46Speaker 5: your personal advice question and we'll go ahead and use
- 14:50Speaker 5: that in a future Dear Richie segment. Number for that
- 14:53Speaker 5: it's eight seven seven valveds one. But before we go,
- 14:57Speaker 5: I want you to know that, you know, before moving
- 15:02Speaker 5: from Brooklyn and slinging haircuts in Hudson County, New Jersey,
- 15:06Speaker 5: I learned very early in life that real talk happens
- 15:11Speaker 5: in a barber chair. For many of us that like
- 15:16Speaker 5: to talk, you know, chatterboxes. We like to bring a
- 15:21Speaker 5: certain Jennesse quah to things. Right, So what's the point
- 15:26Speaker 5: of all this? Well, I like to talk about things
- 15:29Speaker 5: there's sometimes off the beaten path. Why because there's an
- 15:33Speaker 5: entertainment part of this as well as informative. And if
- 15:36Speaker 5: you're pulling me up at night, or you know, you're
- 15:38Speaker 5: listening to the podcast the next day, which almost all
- 15:42Speaker 5: of you do, being that we record late at night,
- 15:46Speaker 5: it's understandable that you might be burnt out from the
- 15:49Speaker 5: news of the day. So I try to keep it
- 15:51Speaker 5: a little bit lighter. Right anyway, We've got some calls
- 15:54Speaker 5: perhaps coming out, you know. I try to keep this
- 15:56Speaker 5: hour solid, and if I've got some really good stuff,
- 15:59Speaker 5: I'll put it in here. But a lot of you
- 16:01Speaker 5: call in from all over and then you don't leave
- 16:03Speaker 5: a message, so I hear just to breathing took those
- 16:07Speaker 5: obscene calls from back in the nineties. Anyway, I want
- 16:11Speaker 5: to remind you today is the last day, in honor
- 16:13Speaker 5: of America's two hundred and fiftieth birthday, that the first
- 16:17Speaker 5: dozen people to subscribe to the Valdes vip ad free

- 16:43Speaker 5: much more to come straight ahead. This show is free.
- 16:45Speaker 5: It's always going to be free. You just got to
- 16:47Speaker 5: listen to the ads, which you're coming up right now
- 16:48Speaker 5: on Richvaldesk keeping you company tonight. So keep it locked
- 16:51Speaker 5: right here because we're just getting started. Don't go anywhere.
- 16:54Speaker 1: This is America. This is America.
- 17:13Speaker 2: He's brown, he's bald, and he's breaking it down.
- 17:16Speaker 5: Oh he's still had someome what's his day, rich vel
- 17:19Speaker 5: days all right, Fabdia, welcome back, Rich Valdesk. We're going
- 17:25Speaker 5: to get into that crazy story about the fast food
- 17:27Speaker 5: worker in a moment. I just wanted to reiterate a
- 17:30Speaker 5: couple of things. One, shout out to Jason Barrett and
- 17:33Speaker 5: Barrett News Media. They're having their conference kicking it off
- 17:36Speaker 5: I think today, not today, on Monday, maybe Monday, Tuesday,
- 17:41Speaker 5: Wednesday of next week, so shout out to them or Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday.
- 17:46Speaker 5: It's a three day conference in New York City, news radio,
- 17:49Speaker 5: music radio. So much more going on sports, and they
- 17:55Speaker 5: do a really good job with that, So shout out
- 17:57Speaker 5: to them. Check them out at the Barrett whose I
- 18:01Speaker 5: think it's called the Barrett Media Summit. If you want
- 18:03Speaker 5: to learn more about that, check that out online. And
- 18:07Speaker 5: I wanted to also remind you that there's a big
- 18:10Speaker 5: development that we talked about yesterday with the Supreme Court.
- 18:13Speaker 5: But there are more Supreme Court cases coming out right,
- 18:16Speaker 5: not the least of which maybe we'll get over the
- 18:18Speaker 5: weekend or early on Monday, which is President Trump and
- 18:22Speaker 5: his ability to fire people. Right one of those firings,
- 18:27Speaker 5: I think a federal Reserve governor is on there as
- 18:31Speaker 5: well as somebody from the Fair Trade Commission. So we're
- 18:36Speaker 5: going to see how that stuff turns out. But there
- 18:40Speaker 5: is a lot on the line, not to mention, of course,
- 18:43Speaker 5: the biggest one, which is the birthright citizenship case, which
- 18:46Speaker 5: if you listen to this show a few months back,
- 18:48Speaker 5: when we were talking about this with the president of
- 18:53Speaker 5: the Government Accountability Institute, Peter told us that he wasn't
- 18:59Speaker 5: sure which way it went, but he was doubling down
- 19:01Speaker 5: on the importance of it. Well, I can tell Peter
- 19:05Speaker 5: Schwitz who that is, and I can tell you that
- 19:08Speaker 5: I don't believe that John Robert has the balls to
- 19:11Speaker 5: actually do this, to actually take on a serious matter
- 19:16Speaker 5: like this. I believe he's going to come up with
- 19:19Speaker 5: a way to punt. And you're going to see Alito
- 19:22Speaker 5: and Clarence Thomas Wright a dissent saying that this misses
- 19:27Speaker 5: the mark and it's blah blah blah, And you know
- 19:29Speaker 5: what we know is right because they're right. But that's
- 19:33Speaker 5: my thoughts. I really hope that in the next four
- 19:36Speaker 5: or five days I'm back on this mic and I'm
- 19:38Speaker 5: telling you, you know what, guys, I was wrong. Alito
- 19:42Speaker 5: showed courage and strength, determination, Americanism and he did the
- 19:46Speaker 5: right thing. I hope, I hope I'm wrong. Anyway, I
- 19:52Speaker 5: want to talk about this story because I saw it
- 19:54Speaker 5: and I thought it was kind of crazy, and I
- 19:57Speaker 5: want you to listen to this audio clip and then
- 19:59Speaker 5: we'll talk about it little bit. This is pretty wild stuff.
- 20:02Speaker 11: Ray We all wish would be just a gross urban legend.
- 20:06Speaker 11: But in McCurtain County, a former Arby's manager is charged
- 20:10Speaker 11: with felony poisoning, accused of spitting in a woman's food
- 20:14Speaker 11: and giving her herpies as a result. After a long
- 20:18Speaker 11: night bartending, Jenica Church stopped at Arby's in broken bow.
- 20:22Speaker 8: It was taken a little bit of time.
- 20:23Speaker 5: Thought they're probably mad at me because it was right.
- 20:26Speaker 7: About to close.
- 20:27Speaker 11: Jenica said she had some history with Amanda Hendrix, the manager,
- 20:31Speaker 11: but nothing major. She went home ate and shared sandwiches
- 20:35Speaker 11: with her father in law and grandmother in law. Jenica,
- 20:37Speaker 11: her husband, the kids, and the grandparents all lived together.
- 20:42Speaker 11: After that night, Jennica's mouth began to flare up like
- 20:45Speaker 11: it never had before. The doctor diagnosed her with herpes.
- 20:50Speaker 11: Several times a week, I get a flare up, it
- 20:54Speaker 11: goes all the way up to the top.
- 20:55Speaker 5: Of my eye. My eye twitches. I mean, it's very painful.
- 21:00Speaker 11: Wondering how now to a story we all wish would
- 21:03Speaker 11: be just a gross urban legend. How could she possibly
- 21:07Speaker 11: connect herpes to Arby's. Broken Bow is a small town,
- 21:12Speaker 11: Jennica says, Amanda Hendrix was bragging about spitting in her sandwiches.
- 21:17Speaker 5: Who does that? Who brags about doing something so gross?
- 21:21Speaker 5: I can understand people doing it. I don't think I
- 21:23Speaker 5: would do it, but I think that there's a lot
- 21:25Speaker 5: of people out there who are going to spit in
- 21:26Speaker 5: people's food. But how are you going to tell people
- 21:29Speaker 5: about it? I guess if you're dumb enough to spit
- 21:30Speaker 5: in somebody's food, you're probably dumb enough to tell your friends.
- 21:33Speaker 5: Go ahead.
- 21:35Speaker 11: That night, and Jenica's daughter heard the story. According to
- 21:39Speaker 11: the affidavit, Broken Bow police say they pulled cameras and
- 21:42Speaker 11: saw Amanda spitting in the food.
- 21:47Speaker 5: Literally caught red handed spitting in the food. This is wild. Now,
- 21:51Speaker 5: how do you if you know you're ill, you shouldn't
- 21:54Speaker 5: do that, right, I mean, come on, I know I
- 21:57Speaker 5: sound like a broken record here preaching to the choir,
- 21:59Speaker 5: telling bad people to do nice things. But this is wild.
- 22:02Speaker 5: I mean, tell me if I'm wrong. If I'm wrong
- 22:04Speaker 5: eight seven seven vow, that's one I want to hear.
- 22:06Speaker 5: Why you think this was the right thing to do.
- 22:09Speaker 11: She's charged with felony poisoning with intent to injure. A
- 22:12Speaker 11: warrant has been issued for her arrest.
- 22:15Speaker 6: You kiss my daughter's face off anymore?
- 22:17Speaker 5: That was like my thing. Just kiss your piece, go
- 22:19Speaker 5: back to the.
- 22:20Speaker 7: You know what I mean? Just I don't know.
- 22:21Speaker 8: It's I here.
- 22:22Speaker 11: That is like a tail that wouldn't happen.
- 22:24Speaker 14: That's literally what I was just about to say.
- 22:26Speaker 4: Like people say, oh, we'll sit in your food or whatever,
- 22:30Speaker 4: you know, but I've never seen that happen.
- 22:33Speaker 11: Jennica and her family filed a lawsuit against Amanda Arby's
- 22:36Speaker 11: and affiliated restaurant groups, claiming extreme anxiety, emotional distress, and
- 22:42Speaker 11: fear of infection. Jenica fears it'll impact her service industry work.
- 22:46Speaker 5: Personally, if I.
- 22:47Speaker 4: Go out to eat and I see somebody with that
- 22:50Speaker 4: big old thing on their face, I don't want.
- 22:52Speaker 13: Them serve in my food.
- 22:53Speaker 5: I can't help.
- 22:54Speaker 11: Could she possibly connect her be It's sad. The fallout
- 22:58Speaker 11: is tough for Jenica's mother in law Trisha Dollar hight
- 23:01Speaker 11: to even talk about.
- 23:04Speaker 13: I'm sorry.
- 23:05Speaker 8: When we were leaving today, poor woman. My son was
- 23:09Speaker 8: sitting at my table eating breakfast and he wanted a
- 23:13Speaker 8: kiss by but he could not have one.
- 23:16Speaker 13: So you bet I'm angry.
- 23:18Speaker 8: I see what it's doing to my grandchildren, to my son,
- 23:24Speaker 8: to my husband. I don't want to kiss my husband
- 23:28Speaker 8: he ate the food. Because he hasn't had an outbreak
- 23:32Speaker 8: doesn't mean he don't have it.
- 23:34Speaker 11: The family attorney, Will Blocker says he's kissed my daughter's
- 23:37Speaker 11: face off any Lord, that it appeared to be accepted behavior,
- 23:41Speaker 11: as no other witness employees did anything, and they let.
- 23:44Speaker 7: It go all the way out the door.
- 23:45Speaker 14: To the point my quiet and has a communicable disease
- 23:49Speaker 14: that has to be culture deeper than just Arbi's broken
- 23:52Speaker 14: bo Oklahoma. Maybe it's Flynn Restaurant Group and all three
- 23:55Speaker 14: hundred different kinds of stores they own.
- 23:57Speaker 6: I don't know, but we're going to find out.
- 23:59Speaker 11: So we reached out to can Both police about the footage,
- 24:01Speaker 11: but it is a holiday, so we'll reach back out
- 24:04Speaker 11: on Monday. We've also asked Arbi's for comment and have
- 24:08Speaker 11: not heard back yet.
- 24:09Speaker 5: Lord, unbelievable I got to tell you, this is some
- 24:14Speaker 5: wild stuff, right. So this lady was charged warrant for
- 24:19Speaker 5: her arrest, this lady gets the painful sores. I mean,
- 24:24Speaker 5: I don't even I honestly don't know how this works.
- 24:27Speaker 5: I thought you had to do a lot more intimate
- 24:29Speaker 5: type of thing. But I guess having someone spitch you
- 24:31Speaker 5: must have put a lot of spit on that one burger.
- 24:34Speaker 5: You know, I'm at a loss for words here. Do
- 24:39Speaker 5: I believe it happens, Yes, of course I get that.
- 24:42Speaker 5: I just don't know how to respond to this one.
- 24:44Speaker 5: I really don't. I don't know what I would do.
- 24:46Speaker 5: I don't know how I would respond. I'm pretty sure
- 24:48Speaker 5: I would lose my mind. I'd be nuts over this
- 24:51Speaker 5: because I mean, it's just so wrong. So hopefully these
- 24:54Speaker 5: people will sue and get rich. I'm sure that's eventually
- 24:57Speaker 5: what's going to happen. Is going to be a big
- 24:59Speaker 5: payout here. But man, and this is crazy.
- 25:04Speaker 7: Now.
- 25:04Speaker 5: Some people are saying the lady didn't actually get herpes.
- 25:12Speaker 5: They're saying that, you know, it's it's just what she's saying.
- 25:17Speaker 5: But I mean, if you look at the lawsuit, she
- 25:20Speaker 5: puts the pictures of the herpes either way, right, I
- 25:23Speaker 5: think the big thing here is that the person with
- 25:26Speaker 5: the herpes and that part doesn't seem to be in dispute.
- 25:32Speaker 5: Fast food worker Amanda Church, right, I think that's her name.
- 25:36Speaker 5: No hold on, Amanda Hendrix. Excuse me. She's spitting these
- 25:42Speaker 5: people's food. The police didn't investigation. It's on video. They
- 25:45Speaker 5: catch her doing it. To me, it's open and shut.
- 25:48Speaker 5: Whether the lady gets the herpes or not. I hope
- 25:50Speaker 5: she doesn't. She's saying she did. The family's all paranoid.
- 25:56Speaker 5: I mean it's wild, right, I mean, how do you
- 26:00Speaker 5: handles something like that. Hopefully this lady they throw the
- 26:02Speaker 5: book at her and this prevents future herpies spitters. I
- 26:06Speaker 5: don't know what to say. Just crazy stuff right here,
- 26:10Speaker 5: Crazy stuff right here. Anyway, that was one of the
- 26:13Speaker 5: crazy stories I wanted to share with you. Straight ahead,
- 26:18Speaker 5: you might be able to rewire your brain. If you're
- 26:20Speaker 5: one of those people that always sees the glasses half empty,
- 26:24Speaker 5: how do you adopt that glass half empty? Is it?
- 26:27Speaker 5: I should say glass half full attitude? The positive attitude?
- 26:31Speaker 5: Is it faked till you make it? Is it something
- 26:33Speaker 5: that you're taught or born or bred to do. We're
- 26:35Speaker 5: here to find out about that and how that works.
- 26:37Speaker 5: Straight ahead, keep it locked right here. I'm rich about this.
- 26:40Speaker 5: Don't move a muscle.
- 26:42Speaker 1: This is America. This is America.
- 26:57Speaker 5: The forty fifth President Donald Trump thinks it's an honor
- 27:01Speaker 5: to speak with Rich Valdez.
- 27:03Speaker 6: Oh, very good.
- 27:07Speaker 5: The honor is all yours. Conservative talk with a dash
- 27:13Speaker 5: of sofrito.
- 27:14Speaker 2: Now here's Rich Valdez.
- 27:22Speaker 7: Good evening.
- 27:22Speaker 3: I'm demlujin In. This is your Fox News report. The
- 27:25Speaker 3: US launching strikes against Iranian targets today, all in response
- 27:28Speaker 3: to an Iranian drone strike on a cargo ship in
- 27:31Speaker 3: the Strait of Horror Moves Yesterday, President Trump calling Iron's
- 27:34Speaker 3: actions a quote foolish violation of the week old ceasefire agreement,
- 27:38Speaker 3: but he claims the strait is still open, and Secretary
- 27:41Speaker 3: of State Mark Rubio announcing Israel and Lebanon have signed
- 27:44Speaker 3: a framework agreement, all in an effort to achieve lasting peace.
- 27:48Speaker 3: At least nine hundred and twenty people are dead and
- 27:50Speaker 3: thousands more are hurt after two massive earthquake shook Venezuela Wednesday.
- 27:55Speaker 3: Officials there are expecting those numbers to rise as crews
- 27:58Speaker 3: are still looking for any victim. A prosecutor is held
- 28:01Speaker 3: in civil contempt in the Tyler Robinson case. The judge
- 28:04Speaker 3: making this decision after the prosecutor gave statements to the media.
- 28:08Speaker 3: Robinson will still face the death penalty for allegedly assassinating
- 28:12Speaker 3: Charlie Kirk, but additional jury questionnaires and even a possible
- 28:15Speaker 3: jury expansion will be allowed. A federal judge declares a
- 28:19Speaker 3: mistrial in the case of the man accused as starting
- 28:21Speaker 3: the deadly Palisades fire in California last year. After thirteen
- 28:25Speaker 3: hours of deliberations, the jury deadlocked, with ten voting not
- 28:29Speaker 3: guilty and two set on guilty. Prosecutors do plan to retriumph.
- 28:34Speaker 3: And It's day number two of the Great American State Fair.
- 28:36Speaker 3: Today's theme American Groan, showcasing the people and hard work
- 28:40Speaker 3: that keeps the nation fed. The freefair set up on
- 28:43Speaker 3: the National Mall now through July tenth in New York.
- 28:46Speaker 13: I'm Bill Malugin. Have a great night, all right.
- 28:49Speaker 5: That's a quick update on headlines for the evening from
- 28:52Speaker 5: Bill Malugin from the Fox News Channel. And speaking of
- 28:56Speaker 5: Fox News, I wanted to get into a little bit
- 29:00Speaker 5: of a gentleman that I met. He's a young man,
- 29:02Speaker 5: young man that I met at a sea pac many
- 29:04Speaker 5: years ago, probably maybe six seven, eight years ago, and
- 29:09Speaker 5: his name is Daniel di Martino. He had fled Venezuela
- 29:12Speaker 5: to come here. Maybe not fled, but he left Venezuela
- 29:15Speaker 5: to come here and study and pursue a higher education.
- 29:18Speaker 5: And I think he's completed his PhD. And he's now
- 29:21Speaker 5: working with the Manhattan Institute as a scholar there. And
- 29:24Speaker 5: he was on Fox News and he had a lot
- 29:27Speaker 5: to contribute from his perspective, both as a scholar and
- 29:32Speaker 5: as someone who left Venezuela and dealt with the first
- 29:36Speaker 5: hand effects of communism there. And I thought it was
- 29:40Speaker 5: very interesting take that he had with respect to the
- 29:43Speaker 5: Democrats Socialists of America and what's happening in New York.
- 29:47Speaker 5: So I just wanted you to hear this take real quick.
- 29:50Speaker 15: He's a coordinated attack on the United States and on
- 29:53Speaker 15: the Democrat Party. The socialists in this country know that
- 29:56Speaker 15: they cannot create their own political party because they kind
- 29:59Speaker 15: of win elections under this system. Nobody would vote for
- 30:01Speaker 15: the Socialist Party. So what they're doing is that they're
- 30:04Speaker 15: trying to primary and take over the Democrats from the
- 30:06Speaker 15: inside and use them to advance their agenda. That's why
- 30:10Speaker 15: they have a separate infrastructure. That's why they're funded separately.
- 30:14Speaker 15: You know, when in New York City the primaries were
- 30:16Speaker 15: won by socialists last week or this week, what happened
- 30:20Speaker 15: was that Alicia Singham Goodwin, who is the niece of
- 30:26Speaker 15: Nevil Roy Singham, the far left billionaire in China that's
- 30:29Speaker 15: been funding all of this. She's on the steering committee
- 30:32Speaker 15: of the New York City DSA and was celebrating on
- 30:34Speaker 15: coordinating all of this. So we have I fear a
- 30:39Speaker 15: foreign attack to take over the Democrat Party and ultimately
- 30:42Speaker 15: the United States.
- 30:44Speaker 5: A foreign attack to take over the Democrat Party and
- 30:47Speaker 5: ultimately the United States. Wow, well, listen, I think he
- 30:52Speaker 5: might be onto something here. And what I'm talking about
- 30:56Speaker 5: is what we always envisioned socialists to be right, And
- 31:02Speaker 5: we talked about this the other night. We always envisioned
- 31:05Speaker 5: socialists as that classic image of an angry guy in
- 31:08Speaker 5: a beret, Chey Guevada or Hugo Chabas, right standing on
- 31:14Speaker 5: a soapbox screaming about seizing the factories and launching a
- 31:18Speaker 5: violent revolution to take back things for the proletariat and
- 31:23Speaker 5: are the brugeoisie rather or versus the bougeoisie. This is
- 31:28Speaker 5: the classic Marxist revolutionary communist, right. They want to blow
- 31:34Speaker 5: up the system today, build utopia tomorrow, and let's be
- 31:37Speaker 5: honest here, usually run out of other people's money by manyanta. Right.
- 31:42Speaker 5: But there's another pack of socialists out there, and we
- 31:45Speaker 5: talked about them the other night. They don't wear berets,
- 31:47Speaker 5: they wear tailored suits. They don't want a violent revolution
- 31:51Speaker 5: today because they're perfectly happy to steal your freedom tomorrow,
- 31:55Speaker 5: you know, one inch thick piece of legislation at a time,
- 32:00Speaker 5: death by a thousand cuts. They call themselves the Fabian Society.
- 32:06Speaker 5: Excuse me now. I talked about this several times, and
- 32:09Speaker 5: I think it's just good to repeat it because their
- 32:12Speaker 5: strategy is not really changed much. Right. They started back
- 32:20Speaker 5: in England back in the eighteen hundreds. They aren't like Marxists.
- 32:26Speaker 5: They're very different, right. They want to do things very slowly. Right.
- 32:33Speaker 5: Think of their mascot as a turtle with a monocle,
- 32:37Speaker 5: because their whole strategy is gradualism. Marxists want a sudden,
- 32:42Speaker 5: bloody revolution. The Fabians want a slow regulatory stranglehold. Marxist
- 32:49Speaker 5: smashed the state from the outside, and Fabians infiltrate the
- 32:54Speaker 5: state from the inside. Marxists use everything they can by force.
- 32:59Speaker 5: Fabians use bureaucracies, school boards, tax codes. Sound familiar, I
- 33:03Speaker 5: bet it does. They realize you don't need to fight
- 33:07Speaker 5: the army if you can just capture the institutions. If
- 33:10Speaker 5: you control the schools, the media, of the courts, you
- 33:12Speaker 5: can slowly nudge society into socialism while the average worker
- 33:16Speaker 5: is too busy working a double shift even notice what's
- 33:18Speaker 5: going on. This is what's happening. This is how they
- 33:22Speaker 5: get to tyranny. So enter Mamdani, AOC, Bernie Sanders healthcares
- 33:29Speaker 5: are right right, remember him, and they bring this across
- 33:33Speaker 5: the Atlantic to where we are, to what we're seeing
- 33:36Speaker 5: right now in America. We look at the radical left
- 33:38Speaker 5: and we think they're all anarchists, but they're really not.
- 33:41Speaker 5: They're highly organized modern Fabians using the exact same playbook
- 33:45Speaker 5: as Mamdani. Putting on the sued, well groomed beard, always
- 33:49Speaker 5: smiling with his hand on his heart. That's what he does.
- 33:52Speaker 5: Take a look at AOC. Oh, I'm crazy, Alexander oct
- 33:55Speaker 5: that's my least favorite congress woman from the Bronx and
- 33:57Speaker 5: Queens and her party of choice right, the Democrat Socialists
- 34:03Speaker 5: of America the DSA AOC really didn't launch a guerrilla
- 34:07Speaker 5: warfare campaign to take over the government. She ran for Congress.
- 34:12Speaker 5: She used the system to get inside the building. Think
- 34:15Speaker 5: about the Green New Deal. It wasn't a list of
- 34:20Speaker 5: terror demands passed after a coup. It was a massive,
- 34:24Speaker 5: sweeping piece of legislation that they wrote to change every
- 34:30Speaker 5: and to control every aspect of our lives in America.
- 34:35Speaker 5: What kind of car you drive, how you heat your home,
- 34:37Speaker 5: what you can need, until the government controls the entire economy.
- 34:43Speaker 5: That is textbook fabianism. It's socialism via committee meetings, via
- 34:48Speaker 5: c span, if you will. So you've got guys like
- 34:52Speaker 5: Zara Mamdani. Now he goes to the State Assembly in
- 34:55Speaker 5: New York. He's out there pushing for state controlled housing
- 34:58Speaker 5: and trying to tax the wealth out of existence. They're
- 35:02Speaker 5: not trying to overthrow the government. They're trying to become
- 35:05Speaker 5: the government and use the tax code as a weapon.
- 35:08Speaker 5: They want to make it so expensive and heavily regulated
- 35:11Speaker 5: to operate a private business or own a home that
- 35:13Speaker 5: Eventually you just throw your hands up and you say,
- 35:16Speaker 5: I think, dieg I'm fine, that's it. Let the state
- 35:19Speaker 5: handle it. That's their hope. And he's making very quick moves.
- 35:24Speaker 5: In my opinion, now at Trumpito don Aaldus Magnus. President
- 35:29Speaker 5: Trump sees right through this stuff. That's why the left
- 35:32Speaker 5: hates the America First agenda. When Trump talks about it,
- 35:36Speaker 5: dismantling the deep state, cutting regulations, draining the swamp, He's
- 35:39Speaker 5: throwing a wrench directly into the fabian gears. He's stopping
- 35:44Speaker 5: their slow coup. If you will, now, this is where
- 35:48Speaker 5: we we have power. This is where we're able to
- 35:52Speaker 5: pivot for a second, because listening to stuff can get
- 35:54Speaker 5: you depressed. Right, you're like, damn, rich, I didn't listen
- 35:57Speaker 5: to you to I wanted to laugh and learn about
- 35:58Speaker 5: what was going on tonight. Hear about the socialists takeover
- 36:01Speaker 5: of America. Stick with me. We all watch news. We
- 36:06Speaker 5: see this slow institutional change that's going on. You start
- 36:10Speaker 5: spinning into negative thinking. You get to this what the
- 36:15Speaker 5: psychologists call catastrophizing, to the type of mindset where you
- 36:19Speaker 5: think the country's gone, everything's ruined, why even bother? Right,
- 36:22Speaker 5: it produces apathy. Stop right there, take a breath. Oopsirh.
- 36:30Speaker 5: That's the exact doom and gloom mindset that they want
- 36:34Speaker 5: you to have. They thrive on your exhaustion and your apathy.
- 36:38Speaker 5: They win when you get so demoralized that you don't
- 36:41Speaker 5: turn out to vote. You tune out of life. You
- 36:44Speaker 5: turn off the radio, you turn off your TV, you
- 36:46Speaker 5: stop looking at your phone, you stop showing up to
- 36:48Speaker 5: the school board meetings. Negative thinking is a trap that
- 36:52Speaker 5: breeds passivity. Reagan said, we have to be informed patriots.
- 36:56Speaker 5: So we have to be so we have to do
- 36:59Speaker 5: a little mental alignment right now. Whether it's the way
- 37:02Speaker 5: you eat, the way you think about socialism, whatever type
- 37:05Speaker 5: of negative thinking you have. We got to realign that
- 37:09Speaker 5: you can't control what AOC is gonna tweet today. It's
- 37:11Speaker 5: gonna be all all crazy, no question. You can't control
- 37:14Speaker 5: what wacky bill they're gonna introduce in all Benny Washington
- 37:17Speaker 5: or wherever your state capitalist, but you can control your
- 37:21Speaker 5: own life. You can go outside, hit the beach. I
- 37:26Speaker 5: know that's what I like to do. Cook something, a
- 37:29Speaker 5: beautiful steak would be nice. I know they're very expensive
- 37:31Speaker 5: right now, don't get me started. On that, but the
- 37:33Speaker 5: exact type of steak that the climate crazies are trying
- 37:36Speaker 5: to ban. Right, forget the hamburgers. I'm talking about a ribbi.
- 37:39Speaker 5: Support a small business, Hug your kids, talk to your neighbors,
- 37:42Speaker 5: build a strong, joyful life, be positive about it because
- 37:45Speaker 5: this optimism, in my opinion, is our best weapon. Being happy,
- 37:49Speaker 5: self reliant, patriotic. This is what Reagan called what did
- 37:54Speaker 5: he call it? Happy warrior? I think that's what he
- 37:56Speaker 5: called it, right, happy warrior, because I refuse to be
- 38:00Speaker 5: a miserable, fabian socialist, but I'm happy to become their
- 38:04Speaker 5: worst nightmare. They want you to be discouraged, and they
- 38:08Speaker 5: want you to be dependent on being discouraged. So give
- 38:11Speaker 5: them the exact opposite. Be joyful, Stay joyful, keep fighting
- 38:15Speaker 5: the good fight with a smile on your face, and
- 38:16Speaker 5: keep that locked right here, because when we come back,
- 38:19Speaker 5: we're gonna hear about how we change this negative mindset.
- 38:23Speaker 5: Don't go anywhere. I'm Rich Valdez.
- 38:25Speaker 6: This is America.
- 38:42Speaker 2: This is America. He's making podcasting great again.
- 38:49Speaker 6: This is America with Rich Valdez.
- 39:04Speaker 5: All right, Elemidia, welcome back. This is late night talk.
- 39:09Speaker 5: Keeping your brain going while I keep your company and
- 39:13Speaker 5: the rest of the world is falling asleep. It's rich Valdez,
- 39:17Speaker 5: happy to be with you. Before the break, we were
- 39:19Speaker 5: talking about politics and institutional capture. And look, I can
- 39:23Speaker 5: feel the blood rising right, the blood pressure, you know,
- 39:27Speaker 5: crashing through your veins, and I can feel it right
- 39:31Speaker 5: through the airwaves. Let's take a breath, right, like we
- 39:37Speaker 5: did before, hit the pause button on the state of
- 39:39Speaker 5: the Union. Right, let's not think about politics for a second,
- 39:43Speaker 5: but really the state of ourselves. I have a clip
- 39:47Speaker 5: that we've got of an expert. She's a relationship expert
- 39:51Speaker 5: and an author named Tys Gibson. I think I'm saying
- 39:54Speaker 5: that right th Hi S, and she's talking about neuro
- 40:00Speaker 5: plasticity and rewiring our brains from attachment wounds. I want
- 40:04Speaker 5: you to listen to this because I think we could
- 40:06Speaker 5: learn from it to both calm ourselves politically and personally.
- 40:10Speaker 5: Listen to this, go ahead play to take guys.
- 40:16Speaker 4: Heller of really healing is to learn to rewire your
- 40:19Speaker 4: core wounds. There's three steps in doing this. Let's just
- 40:22Speaker 4: say that the core wound is not good enough. What
- 40:24Speaker 4: is the opposite? I am good enough. That part's really easy.
- 40:27Speaker 4: The second piece when it comes to actually rewiring these
- 40:30Speaker 4: things is I'm not a big believer in affirmations, the
- 40:33Speaker 4: reason being that affirmations are of the conscious mind. Conscious
- 40:37Speaker 4: mind cannot outwill or overpower or subconscious mind can only
- 40:40Speaker 4: rewire it.
- 40:41Speaker 5: So you mean I'm not supposed to be looking in
- 40:43Speaker 5: the mirror saying I've got the best head of hair
- 40:47Speaker 5: in late night radio, podcast, TV, you name it. I
- 40:52Speaker 5: should have be doing that. Okay, sorry, go ahead.
- 40:55Speaker 4: Part of why you hear people be like, oh, I
- 40:57Speaker 4: said I was going to quit eating cholate for my
- 40:58Speaker 4: New Year's resolution, and then they go back eating chocolate
- 41:00Speaker 4: three days later. Because the last things are built into
- 41:02Speaker 4: your subconscious we really have a hard time changing behaviors.
- 41:04Speaker 4: So first step, I am not good enough. I am
- 41:06Speaker 4: good enough, the opposite of your core wound. I'll be abandoned,
- 41:08Speaker 4: I'm worthy of connection, I'll be unloved, I'm lovable. Right,
- 41:11Speaker 4: So we pick the opposite step two because we need
- 41:14Speaker 4: repetition of emotions and imagery because repetition fires and wires
- 41:20Speaker 4: and neural pathways. Emotions and images do it at the
- 41:22Speaker 4: subconscious level. So you're like, how do we find emotions
- 41:25Speaker 4: and images. Well, interestingly, every memory we ever have is
- 41:29Speaker 4: a container of emotions and imagery.
- 41:31Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 41:32Speaker 4: Absolutely, So they say, okay, what was your favorite childhood memory?
- 41:34Speaker 4: And you were playing at the beach or the ocean,
- 41:37Speaker 4: and you see the reds bucket and you see the
- 41:39Speaker 4: waves and your family's faces like you see the images.
- 41:42Speaker 4: And we've all seen when people have an exciting experience
- 41:45Speaker 4: or a happy memory, they smile or they laugh or
- 41:48Speaker 4: their body language changes. And so what we do is
- 41:50Speaker 4: we're going to come up with ten memories to support
- 41:53Speaker 4: the new idea that we're trying to drive to the side.
- 41:55Speaker 5: Let's try that. So we're going to think about America
- 42:00Speaker 5: will not become a socialist wasteland or whatever personal thing
- 42:04Speaker 5: you want to put in there. And we're going to
- 42:07Speaker 5: think about times when it was not right. We're going
- 42:10Speaker 5: to think about times where you open that small business
- 42:13Speaker 5: and you've got those memories of somebody autographing a twenty
- 42:18Speaker 5: dollars bill for you to frame and put over your
- 42:19Speaker 5: cash register as a token of good luck. We're going
- 42:25Speaker 5: to create ten memories like that. This is an interesting exercise.
- 42:29Speaker 5: Let's continue subconscious mind.
- 42:32Speaker 4: So, for example, I am good enough ten times I
- 42:35Speaker 4: actually felt good enough, and they do not have to
- 42:38Speaker 4: be big. It can be things like I was a
- 42:39Speaker 4: good friend last week, I had our conversation with my
- 42:42Speaker 4: spouse two weeks ago. We need to just elictit a
- 42:44Speaker 4: little bit of emotion, that imagery of the memory, and
- 42:47Speaker 4: we need ten of them. Step three, we record ourselves
- 42:50Speaker 4: sing out loud, so ideally we write them down. We
- 42:52Speaker 4: record ourselves sing it into our phone, and then our
- 42:55Speaker 4: subconscious mind actually sponges up a lot of information more
- 42:58Speaker 4: effectively when we are in a se adjustable state, meaning
- 43:01Speaker 4: our brain is producing more alpha brain waves.
- 43:03Speaker 5: All right, so let's produce some alpha brain waves together now, right,
- 43:07Speaker 5: I am the best head of hair in all of radio.
- 43:11Speaker 5: Say with me, folks, or whatever you want to say.
- 43:14Speaker 5: America is going to thrive and prosper like it never
- 43:17Speaker 5: has before. All right, But it's not just the affirmation. Right,
- 43:22Speaker 5: We've got to go back to twenty eighteen. Mortgage rates
- 43:26Speaker 5: were two and a half percent, three percent. Some people
- 43:29Speaker 5: got those really close to two percent mortgages. Everything was
- 43:35Speaker 5: hitting on every cylinder. Four and a half percent GDP growth.
- 43:39Speaker 5: One of the best economies I've seen in my lifetime.
- 43:41Speaker 5: I think the best economy I've seen in my lifetime,
- 43:43Speaker 5: United States twenty eighteen, and I am. I'm happy. I'm
- 43:50Speaker 5: seventeen floors above Madison Square Garden remembering the progress and
- 43:55Speaker 5: the growth. I'm going use the word rapid growth that
- 43:57Speaker 5: my media career had and really my media business because
- 44:01Speaker 5: things were going so well and then it came crashing
- 44:05Speaker 5: down with Joe Biden. But hold on, this is about
- 44:07Speaker 5: positivity and alpha brain waves. So let's go back to
- 44:10Speaker 5: miss Gibson.
- 44:12Speaker 4: And so what we get people to do is to
- 44:13Speaker 4: sit down. They record themselves saying this out loud that
- 44:16Speaker 4: it takes two minutes to listen back, and your brain
- 44:19Speaker 4: produces a lot more alpha brain waves after a good meditation,
- 44:22Speaker 4: the first hour that you wake up before drinking coffee,
- 44:25Speaker 4: the last hour before you go to sleep, after intense exercise,
- 44:28Speaker 4: breath work, these types of things.
- 44:30Speaker 5: Hold on, I am not awake for what hour before
- 44:33Speaker 5: I have coffee. Coffee is like the goff I see
- 44:36Speaker 5: is like the first thing I do brush my teeth,
- 44:38Speaker 5: have coffee. Literally, it's like a requirement. Am I doing
- 44:41Speaker 5: this is wrong? All right? Let me stop interrupting. It's
- 44:44Speaker 5: ADHD forgive me.
- 44:46Speaker 4: You're in more alpha brain wave mode when your mind
- 44:48Speaker 4: is more relaxed, more still, and then what we're doing
- 44:51Speaker 4: is we're listening back to those things. During that time,
- 44:54Speaker 4: there is your own voice, in your own voice exactly
- 44:56Speaker 4: saying it out loud. You're listening back, and you're very
- 44:58Speaker 4: much focusing on the images and the emotion as you
- 45:02Speaker 4: feel back in that suggestible state. And neuroscience rear search
- 45:05Speaker 4: tells us if we are in a suggestible state, doing
- 45:08Speaker 4: that for twenty one days builds new neural networks that
- 45:11Speaker 4: are very strong that they are highly likely to step.
- 45:14Speaker 4: And what's really interesting is we surveyed people who did this.
- 45:17Speaker 4: We're like, okay, let's actually track how people are doing this.
- 45:20Speaker 4: People said they stepped to it every day for twenty
- 45:22Speaker 4: one days. We had like tens of sixty thousand people
- 45:24Speaker 4: who we did the survey on. People said they did
- 45:26Speaker 4: not miss a day for twenty one days. Reported a
- 45:28Speaker 4: ninety nine point seven percent score in actually rewiring the wounds.
- 45:32Speaker 4: So it's highly effective. It's very simple, and it's something
- 45:36Speaker 4: like anybody can do right now. And if you really
- 45:38Speaker 4: look like those wounds, those are the things that recavoc
- 45:41Speaker 4: on people's lives in relationships, Those are the really painful
- 45:44Speaker 4: things that Those are a relationship baggage that we're really carrying,
- 45:46Speaker 4: and those are why we keep choosing the wrong scenarios
- 45:48Speaker 4: over and over again, or that same unavailable partner. So
- 45:51Speaker 4: really simple starter tool for rewiring, And that's one I
- 45:54Speaker 4: like to share it to begin with, and it's something
- 45:56Speaker 4: people can just do at home from listening.
- 46:00Speaker 5: Again, that's Ty's Gibson. And I think that's really good advice, right,
- 46:05Speaker 5: really really good advice, because this is how we reframe
- 46:10Speaker 5: the noise. Right, isn't that fascinating? I mean, this woman
- 46:14Speaker 5: Ty's Gibson is basically telling us that your brain is
- 46:18Speaker 5: not set in stone. Those old negative programs running in
- 46:21Speaker 5: the back of your mind can actually be overwritten. Think
- 46:25Speaker 5: about how powerful that is or how beautifully this maps
- 46:28Speaker 5: onto what we deal with every single day. If you
- 46:31Speaker 5: spend all day reading furious tweets, watching the news, panicking
- 46:35Speaker 5: about the future, you're essentially creating an anxious attachment style. Right,
- 46:39Speaker 5: You're anxiously attached to the entire country, the future of
- 46:43Speaker 5: the entire country. You're constantly waiting for another shoot, a drop,
- 46:47Speaker 5: checking your phone, the latest tweets, the latest crisis, like
- 46:51Speaker 5: you know, like having a toxic partner, like an unstable
- 46:57Speaker 5: X Right America all right started in Biden, Oh my gosh.
- 47:03Speaker 5: But her point is that we don't have to stay
- 47:06Speaker 5: stuck in those reactive loops. And I love that. This
- 47:10Speaker 5: is part of the reason why I watch silly reality
- 47:13Speaker 5: TV to get my mind off of things. But we
- 47:15Speaker 5: can train our minds to focus on what's stable, what's secure,
- 47:19Speaker 5: something more constructive, total mental realignment. I love this. This
- 47:25Speaker 5: might be a future segment like in you know, once
- 47:28Speaker 5: a week, maybe every day. Who knows the realignment segment.
- 47:32Speaker 3: Now.
- 47:32Speaker 5: I know some of you out there thinking, come on, bro,
- 47:34Speaker 5: come on rich, this is this self help mumbo jumbo.
- 47:39Speaker 5: I'm a tough, self reliant conservative. I'm a man's man.
- 47:44Speaker 5: I'm a woman that doesn't need all this liberal mumbo jumbo.
- 47:47Speaker 5: I don't know if this is liberal stuff, honestly, or
- 47:51Speaker 5: you might be saying I don't have attachment wounds. I
- 47:53Speaker 5: have a mortgage. I get it. I got bills too. Listen,
- 47:59Speaker 5: hold your horses, relax, because science actually explains exactly what
- 48:04Speaker 5: this is. Right. It isn't just fluffy words. Right, there's
- 48:09Speaker 5: some hardcore numbers here. According to the gold standard data
- 48:13Speaker 5: on attachment surveys, roughly forty to fifty percent of the
- 48:17Speaker 5: adult population operates with an insecure attachment style. And I
- 48:21Speaker 5: guess this is most clearly evidenced in small children. When
- 48:26Speaker 5: they're attached in a healthy way. You say hey, go play,
- 48:32Speaker 5: and the kid goes in places when you say hey,
- 48:34Speaker 5: go play to the little kid and they immediately grab
- 48:37Speaker 5: their mom's knee and put their arms around her thigh
- 48:41Speaker 5: and they don't let go. It's not that they're shy,
- 48:44Speaker 5: it's not that there's an insecure attachment there. The kid
- 48:48Speaker 5: doesn't feel secure enough to leave his mother's side right
- 48:52Speaker 5: or her. And this is a real thing. So think
- 48:55Speaker 5: about that. Look to your left, look to your right,
- 49:01Speaker 5: and realize that the person next to you, on either
- 49:04Speaker 5: side of you, nobody's really perfectly secure. A lot of
- 49:08Speaker 5: people are running a subconscious let's call it, a program
- 49:12Speaker 5: that makes them either want to micromanage everybody right, anxious attachment.
- 49:17Speaker 5: Make sure you do this, make sure you do that.
- 49:18Speaker 5: You got to do this, make sure to do that.
- 49:20Speaker 5: And the opposite is true too. Some people will build
- 49:24Speaker 5: a moat around themselves, their house, their car, their life,
- 49:28Speaker 5: and never talk to another human being. They call that
- 49:30Speaker 5: avoidant attachment, where you just want to stay away from everybody. Why,
- 49:35Speaker 5: same thing, childhood wound that they're sounding the alarm over here.
- 49:44Speaker 5: So this is why I like to integrate these things.
- 49:47Speaker 5: I think this is fascinating. Right, let's call it political psychology.
- 49:50Speaker 5: And this type of healing I think is important for
- 49:54Speaker 5: conservatives in our movement and for society at large, because
- 49:58Speaker 5: it's going to help you have a stronger life, stronger family.
- 50:00Speaker 5: Studies show that parents passed their attachment styles down to
- 50:04Speaker 5: their kids. So if you heal your own patterns, you're
- 50:07Speaker 5: literally going to change the trajectory of your family tree.
- 50:10Speaker 5: What do I mean by that? My mom was a
- 50:13Speaker 5: very negative at times, and nervous person. You know. She was, no,
- 50:20Speaker 5: don't do that, because if you do this, and that
- 50:21Speaker 5: will happen, and this will happen. No, no, if you don't
- 50:23Speaker 5: do that, this will happen. Everything was always oh, be careful, right,
- 50:26Speaker 5: It was always this, this cautionary tale. My dad he
- 50:29Speaker 5: threw caution to the wind on a regular basis. He
- 50:33Speaker 5: didn't care, He could care less about anything. I mainly
- 50:38Speaker 5: saw it in between them, and then it became between
- 50:40Speaker 5: her and me. But she would tell no, don't do this,
- 50:42Speaker 5: don't do that. He was a huge going ah and
- 50:45Speaker 5: wave her off, just like I get out of here,
- 50:47Speaker 5: you know. And then of course she would complain, be like, oh,
- 50:50Speaker 5: it'll be rude and disrespectful, blah blah blah. But it
- 50:52Speaker 5: was funny. Even as a kid, I thought it was funny.
- 50:55Speaker 5: But when it happened to me, I would get very
- 50:57Speaker 5: frustrated and I'd be like, come on, come on here.
- 50:59Speaker 5: You know you're trying to micromanage me, right, And I
- 51:02Speaker 5: think any of us who have children know that the
- 51:05Speaker 5: older you kids get, the more you can just be like, hey,
- 51:07Speaker 5: do you need a stop micromanagement? Do you need money?
- 51:10Speaker 5: I don't need nothing. Right, many kids can become very
- 51:14Speaker 5: I would use the word difficult or hyperindependent. So when
- 51:20Speaker 5: it comes to true independence, insecure attachment drives people to
- 51:24Speaker 5: look outside of themselves for this validation. This is exactly
- 51:27Speaker 5: how people end up dependent on big government, looking for
- 51:31Speaker 5: the nanny state to fix their lives because they already
- 51:34Speaker 5: have this anxious attachment, this insecure attachment. So why not
- 51:40Speaker 5: let the fabians socialists come and fix my life? No,
- 51:45Speaker 5: thank you? And also I think it will affect us
- 51:48Speaker 5: health wise, right, better health. There's peer reviewed data out
- 51:51Speaker 5: there that shows that people with insecure attachment styles are
- 51:54Speaker 5: statistically more likely to experience physical discomfort, chronic sleep problems,
- 52:00Speaker 5: negative mood cycles, all that. So healing this stuff, these
- 52:08Speaker 5: deep wounds caused by the left, it's not just good therapy.
- 52:13Speaker 5: I'm gonna say I say it jokingly, but I mean,
- 52:15Speaker 5: the wounds aren't caused by the left. Right, we're reacting
- 52:18Speaker 5: to what the left is doing because of the wounds
- 52:20Speaker 5: we have from our childhood. This is the same reason
- 52:23Speaker 5: some people look at Q and on and they go, ah,
- 52:25Speaker 5: get out of here. And some people look at Q
- 52:27Speaker 5: and ON and they freak out and they're this is it.
- 52:30Speaker 5: The electronic emergency broadcast system is going to alert somebody soon.
- 52:35Speaker 5: This is it. And they tell all their friends and
- 52:36Speaker 5: there's a level of excitement they haven't felt since the
- 52:39Speaker 5: last time they believe something that wasn't true. This all
- 52:44Speaker 5: leads back in my opinion, I guess I'm Jungian in
- 52:46Speaker 5: my philosophical thought or psychological thought, but I think it's
- 52:52Speaker 5: time for us to leave the chaos on the back
- 52:53Speaker 5: burner for tonight because we have the ability to make
- 52:58Speaker 5: a change, to be filled with joy and attitude and
- 53:00Speaker 5: strength because why because God. So it's time for us
- 53:05Speaker 5: to get some sleep. It's Friday. Enjoy the gorgeous weekend.
- 53:08Speaker 5: We're heading into Independence Week coming up this week, next weekend,
- 53:14Speaker 5: fourth of July weekend. I can't wait anyway. This is
- 53:17Speaker 5: where I tell you we have to stand for something,
