- 0:05Welcome to The Hypnotist, the show that gives you inside
- 0:09access to cutting edge hypnosis with real clients facing
- 0:12genuine. Issues.
- 0:13Brought to you by The Hypnotherapist, demanded by
- 0:16celebrities, CEOs and even royalty, Adam Cox.
- 0:20These recordings took place live from Adam's clinic in London's
- 0:24world famous Harley Street. So get yourself comfortable and
- 0:31enjoy today's episode of The Hypnotist.
- 0:39Hi, it's Adam here and you're about to listen to one of the
- 0:44most unusual and multi layered themes of hypnosis sessions that
- 0:51I've done for a while and that's because I was working with a
- 0:55client that had recently. Had their first.
- 0:59Ketamine experience in a medical.
- 1:02Environment. And in that one hour experience,
- 1:06certain things came up about certain traumas they'd
- 1:09experienced in the past, certain feelings of self worth and the
- 1:13role that they felt that they were to themself.
- 1:17And that was they wanted to be a mother, a protector, A nurturer
- 1:21to themselves. And what was interesting is that
- 1:25this client had a connection. With.
- 1:30Certain historical. Things like the.
- 1:33Story of the Book of Kells for example.
- 1:36And if you ever are in Dublin, check out Trinity College in
- 1:41Dublin. And there is a library there.
- 1:43And it has the ancient library, but also has the Book of Kells,
- 1:47which is a book created by ancient monks in Ireland.
- 1:54And it was kind of hidden from invading Vikings and actually
- 1:59survived hundreds of years. And it's intact in this library.
- 2:03But it was painstakingly crafted by monks that used gold and
- 2:09certain kind of. Inks on.
- 2:11Parchment. So that's how it survived.
- 2:14For. Hundreds and hundreds of years.
- 2:17Like it's used as a metaphor to use certain things of nested
- 2:21loops. So levels of disassociation,
- 2:24certain inner child work, and the innate value.
- 2:28And at its. Core This is a session about the
- 2:32opposite of existential. Dread.
- 2:34Which is a feeling of well, who am I?
- 2:37At all. To existential joy, and that is
- 2:41a joyfulness of simply existing. And every now and then you get a
- 2:46glimpse of that in certain animals, for example, you just
- 2:51see them in a state of play and they have joy.
- 2:55Not because of. Circumstances of their life, but
- 2:58just they are joyful because they exist.
- 3:01And sometimes you, you see glimpses of that in individuals
- 3:06quite often in certain moments, but that existential joy and you
- 3:12know, statistically, if you think of all of the different
- 3:16kind of probabilities cosmically, genetically for you
- 3:20to. Even exist right now.
- 3:23It is one in trillions that you even exist in the exact way that
- 3:28you do right now. So there is.
- 3:30Certainly a way of feeling eternally grateful and joyful.
- 3:36That you even. Exist and yet society says but
- 3:40unless you have a certain job, certain conditions, certain
- 3:44environments, certain incomes and a car that you own, then
- 3:49you're not worthy or you're not important.
- 3:51Existential Joyce is the. Opposite and that.
- 3:54Is that you? Are.
- 3:56Valuable and worthy simply because you exist.
- 4:00So if these things connect, maybe you feel low self worth,
- 4:05not good enough, feeling that others are better than you.
- 4:09You might really get some value from this session because at
- 4:12it's core it's about self worth. And joy, rather.
- 4:16Than anxiety and dread. It was created for an
- 4:19individual. Some of the suggestions are
- 4:21quite specific, but you might get some value from that.
- 4:24So I would encourage you to find a quiet, comfortable place.
- 4:28The kind of place where you're not going to be distracted or
- 4:30disturbed. And.
- 4:32Justice to really connect with the essence of this, which is
- 4:35you are worthy and you are deserving of joy.
- 4:39O hold that thought. Relax.
- 4:41And enjoy the session. Take a deep breath in, and as
- 5:19you breathe in, breathe in a feeling of quiet tranquility.
- 5:28And as you exhale, give permission to release, to let go
- 5:42of any thoughts, feelings, sensations that don't belong
- 5:48here, in this place. Breathing in relaxation and
- 6:00exhaling tension. Each breath is a release.
- 6:11Each breath filters, discards what is not needed, and holds on
- 6:23to everything valuable and precious.
- 6:29Your unconscious knows how to pan for gold, to keep what's
- 6:36valuable and let go of the rest. So as you breathe in, just allow
- 6:45your eyelids to feel heavier, your jaw to feel loose.
- 6:53That's in. Each breath takes you deeper and
- 7:00deeper. Relaxed.
- 7:04The deeper you breathe, the more relaxed you feel, and the more
- 7:09relaxed you feel, the deeper you breathe.
- 7:15And as your body relaxes, your imagination awakens.
- 7:24And I wonder if you could imagine an ancient library, the
- 7:33kind of library that contains centuries of wisdom, knowledge,
- 7:42insights. And I want you to imagine that
- 7:47somewhere in that library is the most valuable and ancient book.
- 7:59A book written in symbols, each word a work of art.
- 8:12And this is not paper, but parchment, the kind of book that
- 8:19will last for centuries, a book bound in leather and gold.
- 8:31And as you stare into the pages of the book, just imagine you
- 8:37can hold the book. And as you feel the weight of
- 8:42the book, the texture of the pages, the artistic integrity in
- 8:53every word, I want you to feel connected to a period in time
- 9:07many, many years ago. Like somehow the book is a
- 9:14wormhole back in time. And just imagine travelling back
- 9:20to that place, perhaps ancient island,
- 9:41time, when conditions were brutal, and yet joy could be
- 9:50found in spending days to create one letter on one piece of
- 10:01parchment. That perhaps, perhaps, would
- 10:06echo through time. So as you find yourself in that
- 10:17rural place in history, notice the freshness of the air, that
- 10:26quiet connection with yourself. Maybe you can imagine a time of
- 10:34wind over green hills, stone monasteries standing quietly
- 10:41against the sky. And I want you to imagine seeing
- 10:47in one of those monasteries, after the sun has set,
- 10:55candlelight flickering, where monks sit in silence, working on
- 11:06something sacred, perhaps a book, or perhaps something more
- 11:17important. Because those working on the
- 11:23pages did not consider this a book, They considered it their
- 11:28life's purpose. The meaning was in their work.
- 11:36Imagine seeing those illuminated letters painted with gold and
- 11:42deep blue and emerald pigments, every page intricate, protected
- 11:51from invasion, hidden when danger approached, carried
- 12:02through storms, guarded with devotion.
- 12:10Because what was inside wasn't just precious, it was sacred,
- 12:19irreplaceable. And as you walk into that
- 12:26ancient stone room, I wonder if you can notice something that
- 12:36the monks are not guarding parchment, they are guarding
- 12:41light. And that light represents
- 12:46something eternal, something untouched by the chaos outside
- 12:53the walls. And somewhere deep inside you,
- 13:01you understand that light is a symbol of your essence.
- 13:18And there were moments in your life, moments that no one should
- 13:23endure, Moments of violation, captivity, coercion, times when
- 13:35power was taken. And even though those
- 13:40experiences happened. Something.
- 13:45Deeper was never touched. Connect with that place, your
- 13:52essence, your spirit, your intrinsic worth.
- 14:04Deep down you already know the trauma can wound the body, even
- 14:12shock the nervous system, perhaps even distort beliefs.
- 14:21But it can never contaminate essence.
- 14:25It can never erase value. It can never reduce inherent
- 14:32worth. Allow your imagination to take
- 14:38you back to an experience where time distorted, boundaries
- 14:46dissolved, A time when you saw something true.
- 14:54You saw your inner beauty the way your unconscious sees it,
- 15:03and you felt your spirit intact. Flawless.
- 15:10Untouched. Perfect and pure.
- 15:15And what if that was no hallucination?
- 15:19What if that was perspective? Without fear, you glimpsed
- 15:26yourself beyond labels, history. Take yourself back to that
- 15:37monastery and imagine. Just a single.
- 15:41Page from the Book of Cows. Intricate gold illuminated every
- 15:52line intentional. And what if that page is your
- 15:58being? The outer edges may have been
- 16:05weathered by life, but the gold leaf in the centre remains
- 16:12radiant. The gold is not added.
- 16:21It was always there, and even when hidden, even when doubted,
- 16:34even when you felt unworthy, during times of coercion, times
- 16:45where you felt powerless, the goal did not fade.
- 16:55It only felt covered, and now it is visible again.
- 17:17worrying about that sword of Damocles and whether it will
- 17:21drop and whether it's low levels of anxiety or full on
- 17:30existential dread. It has the premise that you are
- 17:36small and damaged, but your subconscious knows different.
- 17:46It comes from a place of existential joy.
- 17:52That premise is different. It's based on the idea that you
- 17:59exist and that in and of itself is miraculous.
- 18:08Your existence alone is extraordinary.
- 18:17The statistical probability of you even being alive is 1 in
- 18:23trillions. The fact that you exist and
- 18:29beyond that survived, endured, continued, and not because you
- 18:36were weak, but because something inside you is indestructible.
- 18:47So connect to that feeling of worth, Worth that is not
- 18:52conditional, not earned, not revoked, not negotiable.
- 19:05Connect with that word that is immutable, immortal in the sense
- 19:13that it exists outside events. Events happen in time.
- 19:25Your essence exists beyond time, and you've experienced what it
- 19:37feels like when time dissolves. And in that place where time is
- 19:47slow and fast, that pulsing feeling of cleansing and not
- 19:57needing to be cleansed at all, you felt something eternal.
- 20:05And that eternal quality is who you really are within.
- 20:34happy, innocent version of you. Invite the presence of that
- 20:43entity. Allow that version of you to
- 20:51experience hope, softness, possibility, and then teleport
- 21:04both of you away from that empty room into green Irish fields on
- 21:10a sunny day. And you don't see her as someone
- 21:17broken. You see her as someone powerful.
- 21:25I want you to imagine kneeling in front of her, that young face
- 21:33of infinite possibility. Look into her eyes and hear the
- 21:42words leave your lips as you tell her I have your back, you
- 21:51are safe with me. I will never abandon you.
- 21:59You are precious and you did nothing to deserve harm.
- 22:08You are not shame, you are light.
- 22:14And as those words connect with the very essence of who you are
- 22:23deep within, notice that you are not comforting her.
- 22:31You are becoming her protector. You are her mother now, A good
- 22:41mother, a fierce mother, a wise mother, the kind of mother you
- 22:53can never choose for yourself, but a mother who chooses
- 22:58herself. You always have your own back,
- 23:06even when others didn't, even when systems and plans failed,
- 23:14and even when. Those closest.
- 23:18To you abused power. You remained, and now you
- 23:25consciously parent yourself with love.
- 23:33And I want you to tell yourself what you wanted to hear back
- 23:39then when that was your age. Provide the words you needed to
- 23:53hear to heal, to not be worthy, but to know you were worthy.
- 24:07Because unworthiness was learned, it was imposed, and
- 24:13then it was reinforced. Sometimes it was just survival
- 24:19logic in unsafe environments, but it was never truth.
- 24:28Truth is simpler. You are worthy because you
- 24:34exist. You are valuable because you are
- 24:39alive, and you are beautiful because your essence cannot be
- 24:46damaged. You are intact, untouched at the
- 24:53deepest level, and no one can rewrite your intrinsic nature.
- 25:02Not violence, not coercion, not time, not betrayal.
- 25:09Your worth is not fragile, it is ancient.
- 25:15Just like. Those ancient.
- 25:17Manuscripts carried through centuries, hidden when
- 25:23necessary, protected when threatened, but never destroyed.
- 25:35And that recent experience lifted a veil.
- 25:41And all the labels and narratives, belief systems that
- 25:45were never true. It revealed what fear had
- 25:51obscured. And now you integrate that
- 25:56revelation soberly, calmly grounded.
- 26:05And you do not need altered states to access your worth.
- 26:11It is available. In ordinary consciousness, in
- 26:16just a breath presence, in quiet moments.
- 26:25So carry that awareness with you as a knowing, as a steady truth.
- 26:36You are not your past, your parents, your circumstances or
- 26:42situations. Those are events, moments.
- 26:52You are the illuminated manuscript.
- 26:56You are the gold at the centre. You are the protector of your
- 27:06inner child. You are existential joy
- 27:13embodied. You are infinite worth in human
- 27:17form, and that value does not fluctuate with memory, and it
- 27:26does not diminish with age. It does not depend on
- 27:31validation. It simply is.
- 27:39And I wonder if you can imagine waking up tomorrow feeling that
- 27:45existential joy, walking through your day with a quiet
- 27:51confidence, a grounded knowing that you are intact, you are
- 28:01precious, you are your own protector, and you are innately
- 28:09worthy. And in those fleeting moments
- 28:14where doubt or dread arises, remember the monastery and the
- 28:22candlelight, the fields, the gold illumination.
- 28:27And that's smiling in a child. And you smile because you now
- 28:36know the truth. You are infinitely worthy and
- 28:47always were. To allow yourself to float back
- 28:53from time, from fields, from monasteries to a library,
- 28:59holding a book, A book that became a wormhole into the power
- 29:06of your subconscious mind. Imagine closing the book and
- 29:15feeling that innate self worth within.
- 29:21Imagine leaving that majestic library and floating all the way
- 29:27back to the here and the now, taking all that value,
- 29:33worthiness and in a connection with you as it's time to awaken.
- 29:44Take a deep breath in through your nose and out through your
- 29:48nose. Just wiggle your fingers, wiggle
- 29:54your toes, connect and calibrate into the here and the now as I
- 30:00now count from 1:00 to 10:00 to awaken you.
- 30:04Starting to count 123 waking up 456 more alert 7-8.
- 30:13Open your eyes, open your eyes, 910.
- 30:18Wide awake, wide awake, wide awake.
