- 0:00Speaker 1: This is the Ben and Ashley I Almost Famous podcast
- 0:03Speaker 1: with iHeartRadio.
- 0:06Speaker 2: All Right, hey guys, welcome to the Almost ns podcast.
- 0:08Speaker 2: Ben is at a corporate meeting now, so I am
- 0:11Speaker 2: joined by Wells Adams again, second time this month. But well,
- 0:16Speaker 2: last time we talked to you was three weeks ago
- 0:18Speaker 2: before Paradise started, and now we have so much more
- 0:21Speaker 2: to ask you about. First off, like, after watching the
- 0:26Speaker 2: past couple of weeks, are you putting in your request
- 0:29Speaker 2: to to transfer over to being the Golden Bachelor? Uh, bartender?
- 0:35Speaker 2: Are you like, eh, you know what, I've had enough
- 0:37Speaker 2: of these young folks.
- 0:39Speaker 3: Yeah, well, like the words that they're using, I don't
- 0:43Speaker 3: really understand.
- 0:45Speaker 2: Oh yeah we were talking. Oh you mean the words
- 0:46Speaker 2: that the older people are using.
- 0:48Speaker 3: No no no no no no, like the young these
- 0:50Speaker 3: young kids that are you know it's all about riz
- 0:53Speaker 3: Yeah you know, yeah, it's it's scary. Like I'm like,
- 0:58Speaker 3: I don't know this language. So like when I watch
- 1:01Speaker 3: a little bit of the Golden Bachler, I'm like, oh,
- 1:03Speaker 3: I'm pretty sure I could decipher most of these words,
- 1:05Speaker 3: so I wouldn't feel like a complete idiot. I don't
- 1:08Speaker 3: want to be the bartender on what do you want
- 1:10Speaker 3: to do Golden Bacher. I want to be the bartender
- 1:12Speaker 3: on the Golden Bachelor in Paradise. I'm just like fingers
- 1:15Speaker 3: crossed and I have okay, and so like you're friends
- 1:19Speaker 3: with the producers, so like, let's make this happen. I've
- 1:21Speaker 3: been thinking about this, like what this really needs to
- 1:23Speaker 3: look like? If a Golden bacheler in Paradise, it can't
- 1:25Speaker 3: happen in Mexico. It needs to happen in like Del
- 1:29Speaker 3: Boca Vista in Florida. You know, it needs to be
- 1:32Speaker 3: like an old age home. Okay, what if it?
- 1:34Speaker 2: Okay, that would be cool. I see where you're going
- 1:36Speaker 2: with that. But then do we make it to be
- 1:38Speaker 2: like snowy vacation so it's like in Aspen or someplace
- 1:43Speaker 2: like that.
- 1:43Speaker 3: No, because old people leave the snow and they go
- 1:46Speaker 3: to Florida. They're called snowbirds, So it needs it needs
- 1:50Speaker 3: to go down there. Yeah. So I've got thought this
- 1:53Speaker 3: whole thing out, and so it needs to go down
- 1:55Speaker 3: to Florida or like Palm Springs or like Scats someplace
- 2:00Speaker 3: that's like way too hot. Right, everyone needs to get
- 2:05Speaker 3: around visa the golf carts. Okay, so like everyone will
- 2:09Speaker 3: have their own golf cart. I feel like, and then
- 2:11Speaker 3: when someone doesn't get a rose at a rose ceremony,
- 2:14Speaker 3: they don't leave in like a you know, SUV black car,
- 2:18Speaker 3: they have to leave in a golf cart. I think
- 2:20Speaker 3: that would be so funny. I think dates need to
- 2:23Speaker 3: happen at a shuffle board court. They need to happen
- 2:26Speaker 3: at a bingo thing, Like there needs to be like
- 2:28Speaker 3: a bingo fight. I'm sure it'll happen, like whoever wins
- 2:31Speaker 3: bingo gets to go on the date and like whatever
- 2:35Speaker 3: and what else? What do old people love? Oh? And
- 2:39Speaker 3: the show like needs to like everyone needs to when
- 2:41Speaker 3: they do fantasy suites. It needs to happen like at
- 2:47Speaker 3: four forty five in the afternoon, like the sun still
- 2:50Speaker 3: needs to be up. When they're like see you later,
- 2:52Speaker 3: they close the door.
- 2:53Speaker 4: You know. Amazing.
- 2:56Speaker 2: Yeah, well, now that you bring this up, I think
- 2:58Speaker 2: it's undeniable that it's gonna happen. Been especially with the writings.
- 3:01Speaker 2: Why not milk it for all it's worth Listen.
- 3:05Speaker 3: I think the show is so Sacraine and like sweet
- 3:09Speaker 3: and it's I love the juxtaposition, especially that first episode
- 3:13Speaker 3: because I watched the first episode of the Golden Bachelor
- 3:16Speaker 3: and Bachelor in Paradise with Gary and with like half
- 3:21Speaker 3: the cast of Paradise.
- 3:22Speaker 4: Where in La we were a watch party thing.
- 3:26Speaker 3: Yeah, and it was he's, by the way, the sweetest
- 3:30Speaker 3: old man. I've not even old man. He's a young guy,
- 3:34Speaker 3: but he's the sweetest guy. I met his daughters and
- 3:36Speaker 3: his like his niece or whatever, and so we watched
- 3:40Speaker 3: that show. I had no idea what to expect. I
- 3:42Speaker 3: talked to producers and they were like, it's really good,
- 3:44Speaker 3: like it's really heartwarming. But the juxposition between like him
- 3:50Speaker 3: being so sweet and the ladies being kind of like
- 3:53Speaker 3: so lovable, and then to like you want to suck
- 3:56Speaker 3: on my toes, like I don't have the taste too,
- 4:00Speaker 3: she has to taste me. And it was like whoa.
- 4:02Speaker 3: We went from like the sweetest little shit to like,
- 4:06Speaker 3: what is this show?
- 4:07Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 4:08Speaker 3: So I love like the It was like a complete
- 4:11Speaker 3: one eighty. So yeah, I really do hope that there
- 4:15Speaker 3: is a golden Batcher in Paradise one day.
- 4:19Speaker 4: It probably will.
- 4:20Speaker 2: But speaking of Will, Will has been a main character
- 4:23Speaker 2: of the first two episodes of Paradise. Yeah, and he
- 4:26Speaker 2: and I say speaking of Will because he was the
- 4:28Speaker 2: one talked about sucking on toast if anybody doesn't remember, Yeah,
- 4:31Speaker 2: he is so funny to me because he just I'm
- 4:35Speaker 2: not sure is he the kind of guy that is
- 4:37Speaker 2: going to just fall in love with anyone? Because when
- 4:39Speaker 2: he says, after just like one romantic conversation after two
- 4:46Speaker 2: days in Paradise, I know I'm not one to talk,
- 4:48Speaker 2: but he goes, It's always been Mercedes, just always been Mercedes.
- 4:54Speaker 4: Tell us what you know about Will?
- 4:56Speaker 3: Yeah, it's I think that he so just desperately wants
- 5:00Speaker 3: to be loved and he's a really really sweet guy,
- 5:05Speaker 3: and he really wears his heart on his sleeve. And
- 5:08Speaker 3: I think what I love about him the most is
- 5:11Speaker 3: that there's a lot of like there for the right
- 5:15Speaker 3: reasons talk obviously every season, And I really do think
- 5:20Speaker 3: that Will wants to get married, Like I think that
- 5:22Speaker 3: like he really really wants to be engaged. He wants
- 5:25Speaker 3: to start a family. You can tell he's very family oriented.
- 5:28Speaker 3: Like my money's on, he is the biggest mama's boy
- 5:30Speaker 3: that anyone's ever met, So like, in that respect, I
- 5:36Speaker 3: can't put a lot of blame on him, Like he's
- 5:39Speaker 3: doing the thing that we are all hoping everyone's doing there,
- 5:42Speaker 3: which is really taking this seriously and really wanting to
- 5:45Speaker 3: find somebody. He's now getting kind of beaten down a
- 5:51Speaker 3: little bit. And I think that I was talking about
- 5:55Speaker 3: this on my podcast, and I don't know. I'm not
- 5:58Speaker 3: a woman, but I think I understand women enough. The
- 6:02Speaker 3: problem that Will has is he doesn't kind of ooze confidence,
- 6:07Speaker 3: and I think that's one of his his good traits.
- 6:12Speaker 3: He's just very honest, and I think he's very emotionally sophisticated,
- 6:19Speaker 3: but you can tell that he, like I think, questions
- 6:23Speaker 3: his worth and everything. And I think women can kind
- 6:26Speaker 3: of smell that from like a mile away. Yeah, And
- 6:29Speaker 3: I like, I didn't get a lot of conversations with him,
- 6:32Speaker 3: and I wish I had, and I wish I'd been
- 6:33Speaker 3: able to see all this because I really would have
- 6:35Speaker 3: been like, I think you need to play it a
- 6:36Speaker 3: little bit cooler, and I think things will be different
- 6:39Speaker 3: because if you on paper, he's six four six ' five,
- 6:43Speaker 3: he's ash, he's so handsome, like absolutely shredded. He's got
- 6:50Speaker 3: a good job, he wants to get and get Like
- 6:53Speaker 3: on paper, everything should be like this should be the guy,
- 6:57Speaker 3: you know, but he did. I think his confidence level
- 7:01Speaker 3: just needs to come up a little bit, and you know,
- 7:03Speaker 3: who knows what will happen with him the rest of
- 7:05Speaker 3: the season, and if he's around for seasons to come,
- 7:08Speaker 3: I think he'll learn more about himself and more about
- 7:13Speaker 3: how to kind of like act going down the road.
- 7:16Speaker 3: And that's one thing that I think the show does
- 7:19Speaker 3: really well because everyone comes with the show very very young,
- 7:23Speaker 3: us included. And I remember watching a back learning so
- 7:26Speaker 3: much about me and learning so much about women and
- 7:28Speaker 3: how they interact with like my personality and stuff. And
- 7:33Speaker 3: it's really like a good place of growth. And so
- 7:35Speaker 3: I do hope that for Will. But he does come
- 7:38Speaker 3: across a little like, I don't know, no confidence.
- 7:43Speaker 4: Yeah, at a little desperate.
- 7:46Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, I'm tiptoeing around the world.
- 7:51Speaker 2: But like also he's very endearing, like you say, and
- 7:54Speaker 2: I think that comes because he is a little maybe insecure.
- 7:59Speaker 3: Yeah. That scene of him and Mercedes on that day
- 8:04Speaker 3: bed where he starts crying, yeah, and she wants to
- 8:08Speaker 3: make out with it. Like I was thinking that. I
- 8:10Speaker 3: was like, if I'm a woman, I'd be like, what
- 8:12Speaker 3: am I doing? I'm at this guy's crying on my shoulders.
- 8:15Speaker 2: It's like the weirdest thing because I think girls like
- 8:17Speaker 2: it when guys cry in general, Like as a viewer,
- 8:20Speaker 2: I like watching will cry, But I don't want the
- 8:23Speaker 2: guy that I'm with to be like I wouldn't be
- 8:25Speaker 2: attracted to that, Like if he was sitting next to
- 8:27Speaker 2: me and he was.
- 8:27Speaker 4: About to make out with me, you know, yeah he'll learn. Yeah.
- 8:31Speaker 2: So, speaking of like egos, I have this sense that
- 8:36Speaker 2: Tyler Norris, who's coming in this week, may have grown
- 8:40Speaker 2: a little bit of one.
- 8:41Speaker 4: Am I wrong?
- 8:44Speaker 3: Oh I don't know. I mean he kind of got
- 8:47Speaker 3: a bad rap last season. If I'm being honest, I
- 8:52Speaker 3: think he got a little bit blindsided. And listen, he
- 8:57Speaker 3: was a really sweet guy last season in and yeah,
- 9:03Speaker 3: I don't I would say, I don't think so okay, okay,
- 9:07Speaker 3: that's good to me. He's the same guy. He's like
- 9:11Speaker 3: a very much a hot commodity, which I totally understand.
- 9:13Speaker 3: He's a very cute, good looking guy, and he also
- 9:17Speaker 3: kind of knows this world better than most you know,
- 9:19Speaker 3: like a lot of people this is their first time
- 9:21Speaker 3: on the beach, so he kind of is able to
- 9:23Speaker 3: come in with some knowledge about like how to navigate
- 9:27Speaker 3: these things, and he got burned last time. So I
- 9:29Speaker 3: think he knows what to look for and what not
- 9:32Speaker 3: to look for. But no, I wouldn't say he comes
- 9:35Speaker 3: in with like arrogance or like over ego.
- 9:39Speaker 2: Okay, okay, because I wasn't sure if he was just
- 9:41Speaker 2: walking down and being like, ah, I know I'm here,
- 9:45Speaker 2: everybody's excited.
- 9:47Speaker 3: Well yeah, I mean I think he knows he's an
- 9:49Speaker 3: attractive guy. But here's the thing, so is everybody else?
- 9:51Speaker 4: Yeah, I know, I know, So Aaron B. What's Aaron B?
- 10:05Speaker 1: Like?
- 10:05Speaker 2: Because it's another person that is on my list as like,
- 10:08Speaker 2: I'm not really sure how to vibe him.
- 10:09Speaker 4: Oh, vibe him?
- 10:11Speaker 3: Yeah. He is a very nice guy, comes from like
- 10:19Speaker 3: a very good family, chooses his words very wisely. He's
- 10:23Speaker 3: very smart, well spoken. He's also like a very religious
- 10:31Speaker 3: guy like his his his faith is an important thing
- 10:36Speaker 3: and he's just a stand up dude. He's also very tall.
- 10:40Speaker 3: He's like six six, he's the tallest guy that we
- 10:42Speaker 3: have there. Yeah, I really like he is. He's an adult,
- 10:50Speaker 3: if I can say. Yeah. But but but like him
- 10:53Speaker 3: and I, our energies are not the same. Like I'm
- 10:55Speaker 3: always like trying to crack jokes and like messing around.
- 10:58Speaker 3: He's a very serious.
- 11:01Speaker 2: Okay, So that's probably why I may not vibe him
- 11:04Speaker 2: through the TV because like, I just don't know that
- 11:06Speaker 2: we would like have fun conversations.
- 11:07Speaker 4: But not to say that he's not a nice guy.
- 11:11Speaker 3: Yeah, I think he's He's a lovely person. Yeah, he's
- 11:13Speaker 3: just like yeah, like I don't know if i'd like
- 11:15Speaker 3: go to the bar with him, like get drunk and
- 11:17Speaker 3: like mess around, like you know, I don't know.
- 11:19Speaker 2: See it's because he doesn't smile. That kind of makes
- 11:21Speaker 2: it he's not a smiling guy at all. Yeah, with maturity.
- 11:27Speaker 2: We have this fight between Aaron S and Peter. Yeah,
- 11:31Speaker 2: total opposites to Aaron B. Then right, Yeah, that.
- 11:35Speaker 3: Was a very interesting ordeal. I saw that whole thing
- 11:39Speaker 3: go down. Okay, So and I've had some time to
- 11:42Speaker 3: think about it because in real time, I was just like,
- 11:44Speaker 3: this is just bonkers, what's happening here? Okay. So there's
- 11:49Speaker 3: a couple things when and you probably remember this, and
- 11:54Speaker 3: from doing the show, you can you see it happen
- 11:56Speaker 3: every every season. Whoever has the whether it's the guys
- 12:02Speaker 3: or the girls. In this case, it was the guys
- 12:04Speaker 3: who had the roses in that particular night where the
- 12:07Speaker 3: head was like dancing and like doing that weird thing.
- 12:12Speaker 3: The people who have the roses get a little power hungry,
- 12:18Speaker 3: if you will, Like they know that they have the power.
- 12:22Speaker 3: They know the girls need to come to them, you know,
- 12:25Speaker 3: and it's always a bad look. And I always at
- 12:27Speaker 3: the bar, I'm like, this is not a smart thing,
- 12:29Speaker 3: because you know what, tomorrow you're not going to have
- 12:31Speaker 3: the roses, but everyone's going to remember that you were like,
- 12:34Speaker 3: ladies come to me. And so I think that there's
- 12:37Speaker 3: a little bit of that with Peter, like he's like,
- 12:41Speaker 3: the ladies need to come to me. But it's interesting
- 12:44Speaker 3: about what happened he had the only yes. What's interesting
- 12:49Speaker 3: to me is that he actively goes after Sam, who
- 12:54Speaker 3: is being pursued by Aaron s right, so all the
- 12:59Speaker 3: girls are come after him. He's like, but there's one
- 13:01Speaker 3: girl that's not coming after me that. So I don't
- 13:05Speaker 3: know if it was like an ego thing that he
- 13:07Speaker 3: was like, I need to talk to her as well.
- 13:10Speaker 3: But then I also understand, like we're you know, this
- 13:14Speaker 3: is the second day second rose ceremony. First first, I
- 13:16Speaker 3: don't even know that.
- 13:17Speaker 4: Was the first rose ceremony.
- 13:19Speaker 3: Yeah, so it's so early where I can understand him
- 13:21Speaker 3: being like I'm talking to everybody, you know, like I
- 13:23Speaker 3: deserve to be able to chat with everybody. And also
- 13:26Speaker 3: like Aaron asks, how close are you really with Sam?
- 13:29Speaker 3: I don't know if I believe it, so I understand
- 13:31Speaker 3: both sides. I also think that I might have had
- 13:35Speaker 3: something to do with that. I think I made him
- 13:38Speaker 3: a couple of drinks and then he starts dancing like
- 13:40Speaker 3: a crazy person behind them, and that's to me, seems
- 13:44Speaker 3: like a wells issue that I did to him. I'm
- 13:47Speaker 3: not one hundred percent sure on that, but I do
- 13:51Speaker 3: think it was funny, like it.
- 13:53Speaker 4: Was funny, it was weird tho initially it was funny
- 13:56Speaker 4: and then it was like, okay, this is ridiculous. Yeah,
- 13:58Speaker 4: I'm good at days out now, that's like one of
- 14:00Speaker 4: those fights that I like days out in.
- 14:02Speaker 3: And then like if so, this never really happened when
- 14:07Speaker 3: I was on the show, and you very rarely see
- 14:09Speaker 3: it when someone comes and pulls Usually it's like, Okay,
- 14:13Speaker 3: see you later, I'm gonna go. When someone says like
- 14:16Speaker 3: give me a couple more minutes, that that's when you
- 14:18Speaker 3: know you're like, oh no, oh, yeah, yeah.
- 14:21Speaker 4: I didn't.
- 14:21Speaker 3: I shouldn't have done this. Yeah, but Peter did not
- 14:24Speaker 3: feel that way at all. He had no like Puller's remorse,
- 14:28Speaker 3: and he was like, no, I'm gonna dance and whatever. Yes,
- 14:32Speaker 3: it was. It was a weird, uh, a weird thing
- 14:36Speaker 3: that happened. And also Sam like wasn't feeling it. I
- 14:38Speaker 3: don't think you know.
- 14:40Speaker 2: Yeah, Peter ends up giving his rose to Olivia, who
- 14:44Speaker 2: scares me a little bit.
- 14:45Speaker 4: What's she like in real life?
- 14:47Speaker 3: Uh? She is scary.
- 14:49Speaker 2: I was gonna say, you're gonna be like Ashley, you
- 14:51Speaker 2: would be very scared by her.
- 14:53Speaker 3: Yeah, you're You're spot on with everybody so far.
- 14:56Speaker 4: Oh yeah she is.
- 15:00Speaker 3: She's very honest and which makes her fantastic in the
- 15:07Speaker 3: interview chair, like when I watch the show back, like
- 15:09Speaker 3: she is so so good. But yeah, she Uh, she
- 15:15Speaker 3: does freak me out a little bit.
- 15:17Speaker 4: Does she ever say anything to you that made you uncomfortable?
- 15:21Speaker 3: Uh? No, I'll tell this story because it is funny.
- 15:26Speaker 3: She complained about my drinks a lot, and she always
- 15:30Speaker 3: said that they were too alcoholic.
- 15:32Speaker 4: Oh, I sure that usually people complain the opposite exactly,
- 15:36Speaker 4: like by law or like my law.
- 15:40Speaker 3: My bachelor law, like I can't make very stiff drinks,
- 15:42Speaker 3: Like I'm you know, like there's liability on my shoulders
- 15:46Speaker 3: about like making sure everyone stays pretty sober. So I'm
- 15:49Speaker 3: not making very stiff drinks. And yeah, if if there's
- 15:51Speaker 3: ever really complain about me, it's dude, this is the
- 15:54Speaker 3: weakest drink I've ever had. And it's like, what do
- 15:56Speaker 3: you want me to do? Man, We're making a TV
- 15:57Speaker 3: show and we don't want you falling down drunk. And
- 16:01Speaker 3: so she would complain about my drinks being too alcoholic,
- 16:06Speaker 3: and I was like, I'm sorry, like they're not that
- 16:10Speaker 3: alcohol I don't know what to tell you. And so
- 16:13Speaker 3: it kept up, and I started to get like a
- 16:15Speaker 3: little offended, you know, like I don't make terrible drinks.
- 16:19Speaker 3: I mean, I'm not like the best mixologist in the world,
- 16:22Speaker 3: but I'm not the worst either. And also, like margarite
- 16:25Speaker 3: is not too hard to make. So she asks for
- 16:28Speaker 3: a drink one time, and I went to a camera
- 16:32Speaker 3: person and I went to a sound guy and said, hey,
- 16:35Speaker 3: I know you're not on us right now, like they
- 16:37Speaker 3: were filming like other conversations, but I was like, can
- 16:39Speaker 3: you put a camera on me right now?
- 16:41Speaker 4: I love I feel like I've done that before. I'm like,
- 16:43Speaker 4: you're missing good stuff.
- 16:44Speaker 3: Yeah, like over here. So I was like, hey, watch
- 16:47Speaker 3: me film me make this drink. So I make her
- 16:50Speaker 3: a mocktail, right, so it's just there's no alcohol in
- 16:54Speaker 3: it whatsoever. And I shake it up like I am
- 16:57Speaker 3: making a real drink, and of course bartender the camera
- 17:01Speaker 3: guy's like, I don't know what I'm filming here, but whatever,
- 17:03Speaker 3: and so I give her the drink and like, without
- 17:08Speaker 3: missing a beat, she goes, oh, alcoholic, and I go,
- 17:14Speaker 3: you want to know what's funny? And she goes but
- 17:16Speaker 3: and I go, there's no alcohol in that drink, and
- 17:19Speaker 3: she goes, she would she would say this thing a lot.
- 17:21Speaker 3: She goes real back the tapes, real back the tapes,
- 17:24Speaker 3: and you're like, she was gonna say it.
- 17:26Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 17:26Speaker 3: So I say, oh, do you see why this camera
- 17:29Speaker 3: guy's on me right now? It's because he filmed me
- 17:31Speaker 3: making this drink to prove to you that you have
- 17:34Speaker 3: no idea what alcohol tastes like. And she like wouldn't
- 17:38Speaker 3: believe it. And so finally someone else was there I
- 17:42Speaker 3: can't remember who it was, and they're like, try this.
- 17:43Speaker 3: It is so alcoholic. And someone drank it and was like,
- 17:46Speaker 3: that's pineapple juice.
- 17:48Speaker 4: That's so good.
- 17:50Speaker 2: There was obviously some ingredient that you were putting in
- 17:52Speaker 2: there that she wasn't used to tasting in regular life.
- 17:56Speaker 3: Yeah, I don't think. I think it was probably lime juice,
- 17:59Speaker 3: if I'm big honest with you, which is a very
- 18:01Speaker 3: important ingredient in all Mexican drinks.
- 18:04Speaker 4: That is such a good story. Thank you so much
- 18:06Speaker 4: for sharing that.
- 18:07Speaker 2: Yeah, Okay, So other people that I want to talk about,
- 18:20Speaker 2: like their vibes, the vibe checks. Jess is with Blake,
- 18:24Speaker 2: and this is an unexpected pairing for me, just because
- 18:26Speaker 2: when she was on our podcast, she seemed very innocent
- 18:30Speaker 2: and very religious. Now he has not come across that
- 18:33Speaker 2: way to me in other prior shows. What's he like
- 18:37Speaker 2: in real life and what's their dynamic?
- 18:39Speaker 3: Like, Okay, Blake is probably too smart to be on
- 18:45Speaker 3: this show, if I'm like, he gets but he's also
- 18:49Speaker 3: been on enough that like he kind of gets it.
- 18:54Speaker 3: Like I remember there was a fight going down and
- 18:56Speaker 3: no one had cameras on it, and he like pulled
- 18:58Speaker 3: his mic and was like, is someone on this fight
- 19:01Speaker 3: over there?
- 19:01Speaker 4: Okay? So he's us all right?
- 19:03Speaker 3: Yeah, he was he's smart. But here's like I don't
- 19:07Speaker 3: know about his like how religious he is in comparison
- 19:10Speaker 3: to Jess. But he is a very good man, Like
- 19:14Speaker 3: his work is uh yeah, you know, virtuous, and he
- 19:19Speaker 3: believes in what he does. And he's Canadian, so like
- 19:21Speaker 3: he's obviously very sweet and nice and says sorry too often?
- 19:27Speaker 4: Does he say sorry?
- 19:28Speaker 3: Yeah, so sorry? Yeah, yeah you can hear he's got
- 19:34Speaker 3: some Canadians usually yeah key watching you'll, I mean, when
- 19:42Speaker 3: it happened between him and Jess, Like I wonder I'm
- 19:50Speaker 3: confused with Jess because she is a woman. She is,
- 19:54Speaker 3: you know, twenty two, twenty three years old, but then
- 19:57Speaker 3: she does have these like very he'd like qualities to her,
- 20:03Speaker 3: you know, like the glitter and like she's always kind
- 20:05Speaker 3: of very nervous and timid, and I just I always
- 20:09Speaker 3: wonder if she's like truly ready for what this is,
- 20:14Speaker 3: which is like a build up to an engagement, you know.
- 20:19Speaker 3: And I wonder how many like serious relationships she's been
- 20:22Speaker 3: in because she is so sweet and innocent and so
- 20:27Speaker 3: into that respect. Like Blake obviously has proven himself over
- 20:32Speaker 3: and over and over and over and over again as
- 20:34Speaker 3: a guy who like is ready to like go to
- 20:36Speaker 3: the next step, like now he even got engaged, right Yeah,
- 20:40Speaker 3: And I wonder if she's there like emotionally, you know,
- 20:45Speaker 3: or or like or it's like maybe a couple of
- 20:48Speaker 3: years down the road for her. I'm not really sure.
- 20:51Speaker 3: But they're both like the nicest people I've ever met,
- 20:55Speaker 3: and I'm rooting for him.
- 20:56Speaker 4: She loves Taylor Swift, as you know all of us do.
- 20:59Speaker 3: Everyone.
- 21:00Speaker 2: She's going through a little bit of an over exposure
- 21:02Speaker 2: phase and I'm a little bit tired.
- 21:05Speaker 3: I think it's real. There's a part of me that
- 21:08Speaker 3: thinks it's all fake.
- 21:09Speaker 4: Why would she need any fake pr.
- 21:12Speaker 3: The Travis Kelsey's I don't. I just it just doesn't
- 21:15Speaker 3: seem It seems very like calculus. I don't know, like
- 21:18Speaker 3: for some reason.
- 21:19Speaker 2: That's why I that's why I'm like kind of like
- 21:21Speaker 2: in a I need to like give myself a Taylor
- 21:23Speaker 2: break right now, because everything seems calculated. The Sophie Turner
- 21:27Speaker 2: stuff is extremely calculated. So I'm just like, Okay, let's
- 21:32Speaker 2: just anyway, but let's get to back to the the Taylor.
- 21:39Speaker 2: I haven't even like, I know, right, I haven't really
- 21:41Speaker 2: even expressed a lot of these feelings because it's like
- 21:43Speaker 2: so divisive.
- 21:46Speaker 4: But like you, guys, I love Taller.
- 21:47Speaker 2: So she's honestly my favorite artist of all time musically,
- 21:50Speaker 2: even though one time I told you it was Hanson.
- 21:52Speaker 2: Of course it's also Hansen, but like, as far as
- 21:55Speaker 2: you know a whole collection, yeah, it's probably Taylor.
- 22:00Speaker 4: She's just massive.
- 22:00Speaker 2: Anyway, the Taylor swift to the Bachelor franchise is apparently
- 22:04Speaker 2: Hannah Brown.
- 22:05Speaker 3: I feel like she's Jesus Christ.
- 22:08Speaker 4: Like, like, so, did you think that the over there
- 22:11Speaker 4: was an overreaction.
- 22:13Speaker 3: Yeah, like the second Coming of Christ came to Paradise.
- 22:16Speaker 3: It was very odd. Yeah, it was. I think it
- 22:21Speaker 3: was a it was a big overreaction. Like she's lovely
- 22:24Speaker 3: and she I think she probably is one of the
- 22:26Speaker 3: best bacherettes we've ever had, so like, I totally understand
- 22:29Speaker 3: the fanfare of it all. But I did think it
- 22:31Speaker 3: was so funny how like you know, like everyone's like, oh,
- 22:36Speaker 3: it's Hannah Brown, like all these women who are all tense,
- 22:39Speaker 3: they're all absolutely gorgeous, being like I should just leave now,
- 22:42Speaker 3: You're like, what are you talking?
- 22:44Speaker 2: What I told Ben last week? I actually kind of relate.
- 22:47Speaker 2: There is something about Hannah Brown.
- 22:49Speaker 4: That is very intimidating to me.
- 22:50Speaker 2: And I think it's just because there's something about our
- 22:53Speaker 2: personality that I said that I can't put a I
- 22:56Speaker 2: can't pinpoint.
- 22:57Speaker 4: What it is.
- 22:57Speaker 2: But there's a quality about her personality that I'm jealous
- 23:01Speaker 2: of and I want to be Yea in the same
- 23:03Speaker 2: in the same way that I feel I guess about Taylor.
- 23:06Speaker 3: Yeah, and I can totally see that. And she had
- 23:09Speaker 3: so many iconic moments, especially once being like a very
- 23:11Speaker 3: strong woman on the show, like moving the the rose
- 23:16Speaker 3: stand and everything, like that's so very iconic. And she's
- 23:20Speaker 3: and like her nickname is the Beast, like it's it's
- 23:22Speaker 3: I totally get it. My The thing that I kind
- 23:25Speaker 3: of didn't love about it was Rachel's there and she
- 23:30Speaker 3: also is the bachelorette, and like people don't weren't like
- 23:34Speaker 3: freaking out, they were kind of but there was a
- 23:37Speaker 3: part of me that was like, I don't I don't
- 23:40Speaker 3: love how this looks to me, you know, like there
- 23:44Speaker 3: is another bachelorette here who also is a badass and
- 23:47Speaker 3: of whom I love dearly, And so yeah, it was
- 23:50Speaker 3: it was a very interesting thing, but I get it,
- 23:52Speaker 3: Like she was on TV a lot, so I can
- 23:56Speaker 3: see how a lot of people are very like starstruck
- 23:58Speaker 3: by it.
- 23:59Speaker 2: Yeah, she's also Dancing with the Stars winner, Special Forces Winner.
- 24:03Speaker 3: She's a wee one.
- 24:04Speaker 4: Then yeah, is that over? That was the first season?
- 24:10Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 24:11Speaker 2: So then how did you feel about the fact that
- 24:15Speaker 2: they made it seem like she was single in there
- 24:17Speaker 2: to date for a second, because I think that was
- 24:19Speaker 2: the issue that we had, or like this is so
- 24:21Speaker 2: this is dumb, like everybody knows she's with someone.
- 24:23Speaker 3: My favorite thing was like, uh, Jesse, you know, at
- 24:26Speaker 3: the top of the Paradise skates being like head ye, Like, Jesse,
- 24:33Speaker 3: come on, man, you know who's coming because you have
- 24:37Speaker 3: to like prep your questions? Yeah, because because the bit
- 24:41Speaker 3: was we know she's coming, but we don't know why
- 24:45Speaker 3: she's coming, right, like right, So I thought I thought
- 24:48Speaker 3: that was very very funny of Jesse be like I
- 24:51Speaker 3: can't believe it. Of course, come on, you know she's here.
- 24:56Speaker 4: I know. Do you know who's coming before you go on?
- 24:59Speaker 3: No? And that's all always nice though, because they'll be
- 25:02Speaker 3: like a producer will be like, okay, go down, We'll
- 25:05Speaker 3: like mike me up, and they'll be like we're just
- 25:07Speaker 3: sending everyone there lots happened, get the download, so then
- 25:10Speaker 3: I can also use that as a way for them
- 25:13Speaker 3: to do recaps. They don't use it very often, but
- 25:16Speaker 3: like a lot of times, I'm like, all right, tell
- 25:17Speaker 3: you what's going on. So then someone's like, Okay, this
- 25:19Speaker 3: is the yeah. Yeah, like the whole the whole bit
- 25:22Speaker 3: of like is she here to date? Is she here
- 25:24Speaker 3: to not? And I liked how I'm sure she was
- 25:27Speaker 3: like my fiance, I think she was engaged.
- 25:29Speaker 4: At the time, she was engaged.
- 25:31Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, or my boyfriend might feel uncomfortable about this,
- 25:35Speaker 3: but just pulling one guy, so I'm gonna pull two guys,
- 25:38Speaker 3: so yeah, because you know, so it's the optics are
- 25:41Speaker 3: a little bit better. But yeah, the people there that
- 25:45Speaker 3: were like that knew what her story was at the time,
- 25:49Speaker 3: knew I think feel like knew that she wasn't there
- 25:52Speaker 3: to date anybody. But the guys, like I feel like
- 25:55Speaker 3: Sean was like he was the first one that popped up.
- 25:58Speaker 3: He said, Hey, that's good.
- 25:59Speaker 4: I know they were being so naive.
- 26:01Speaker 3: I liked I loved her coming there. Here's what I loved.
- 26:08Speaker 3: I loved the bit, like the whole thing was like
- 26:11Speaker 3: she got a lot of really juicy stuff out of them.
- 26:13Speaker 4: She did.
- 26:14Speaker 3: All those questions were very very good, made very very
- 26:18Speaker 3: awkward for everybody. So like, I love the idea of
- 26:23Speaker 3: the fireside chat that she got all that stuff out
- 26:26Speaker 3: of them. I don't even know if I needed the
- 26:29Speaker 3: like is she here to date? Is she not? You know,
- 26:31Speaker 3: like I think that's just more of like the sizzle
- 26:33Speaker 3: real promo stuff.
- 26:35Speaker 4: Okay, well, she's the Taylor Swift of the franchise. Then
- 26:39Speaker 4: who's the Travis kelce Jesse. I guess I don't know.
- 26:47Speaker 2: Well to think about this. Ben could be Ben, but
- 26:50Speaker 2: now Ben is beloved. Yeah, but it is if Travis
- 26:55Speaker 2: kelcey beloved, Like we need somebody who's like a little obnoxious.
- 26:58Speaker 3: In Kansas City, a little like Big Tyler Cameron.
- 27:02Speaker 4: Yeah, it could be more like Tyler.
- 27:04Speaker 2: No that Tyler's not obnoxious, but you know it's just
- 27:07Speaker 2: like the pandemonium around him, Yeah, obly Tyler, which hilariously,
- 27:11Speaker 2: you know, there's the two of them, I know together
- 27:15Speaker 2: that made literally headlines almost as Big and.
- 27:19Speaker 4: Taylor Swifted Travis Kelce' stuff.
- 27:21Speaker 2: Right, h all right, I know we have to let
- 27:24Speaker 2: you go in a second, but let's just talk about
- 27:25Speaker 2: Katie Thurston's arrival, which we do think is happening soon.
- 27:28Speaker 2: She was on our podcast last week, and it really
- 27:31Speaker 2: seems as if she's there to date. I was thinking
- 27:35Speaker 2: she was coming down as a hand of brown situation,
- 27:36Speaker 2: was going to lead some date. But she's teasing that
- 27:40Speaker 2: she might be having fun down there.
- 27:43Speaker 3: Yeah. I mean, obviously I can't tell you what the
- 27:46Speaker 3: answer is to that question, but like, we're having more
- 27:50Speaker 3: bachelorettes come this season than we've ever had.
- 27:54Speaker 2: Well, yeah, you said that last time, and I was like, well,
- 27:56Speaker 2: what are you talking about. There's only Rachel there to date,
- 27:59Speaker 2: thinking that Katie was just gonna go walk down the
- 28:01Speaker 2: stairs and do something, you know, inconsequential.
- 28:04Speaker 3: Yeah, well, here's the thing, Like we know that she
- 28:07Speaker 3: is single because she's also on like another reality TV
- 28:10Speaker 3: dating show, right, Like, so she's up for the challenge,
- 28:14Speaker 3: I suppose. But you'll have to wait and see about that.
- 28:17Speaker 3: But I will say this, we do a fun thing
- 28:23Speaker 3: with everybody that includes Katie and myself and Jesse when
- 28:28Speaker 3: she gets there. So that's gonna be a really fun
- 28:30Speaker 3: episode for everyone to watch.
- 28:32Speaker 4: Now you're throwing me off again, ya, I don't know.
- 28:35Speaker 3: We'll see.
- 28:37Speaker 2: She said that Blake turned white as a ghost when
- 28:40Speaker 2: she when they saw each other.
- 28:42Speaker 3: He was not pleased that that was happening. And I
- 28:47Speaker 3: don't know. I could be wrong about this, but I
- 28:49Speaker 3: think that they hadn't spoken for two since. Yeah, so
- 28:53Speaker 3: it was Can you imagine like running into your ex
- 28:57Speaker 3: and you haven't spoken in two years and then there's
- 28:58Speaker 3: a camera in front of you.
- 28:59Speaker 4: Yeah. Yeah, and they didn't end in what seems to
- 29:03Speaker 4: be the best situation.
- 29:05Speaker 3: Yeah, I don't think so, because.
- 29:07Speaker 4: She went on and dated John right away and yeah, and.
- 29:09Speaker 3: Then bottom of the van and I don't know.
- 29:12Speaker 4: It's weird, all right. Well, well, thank you so much,
- 29:16Speaker 4: full of insight and interesting tidbits. We really appreciate you.
- 29:20Speaker 3: Yeah, I gonna see you. Tell you what I say.
- 29:21Speaker 4: Hi, you see, I will bye, all right, see you.
