  You may have seen a recent YouTube video where I exposed people selling carcinogenic fertilisers.

  This makes my blood boil. I'm

  going to go into detail on this podcast all about it and those

  people responsible the particular issue is

  people selling cobalt and nickel fertilizers with
• 0:48
  fertilizers being in inverted commas cobalt sulfate
• 0:51
  nickel sulfate copper chloride cobalt chloride are stone cold carcinogens there
• 0:58
  is no doubt about this the scientific community and the health authorities all
• 1:03
  consider these to be carcinogens even worse than that they are residual.

  They stay around in the soil. If you inhale spray drift containing these products,
• 1:14
  they will stay in your lungs as a carcinogen.

  Now compare that to something like glyphosate.
• 1:21
  Debatable whether it's a carcinogen or not.

  And it will break down. It'll break down in the soil, it'll break down in you
• 1:26
  eventually. It's made of carbon, hydrogen, oxygen, a bit of phosphorus.

  These will not break down unless you put them in a nuclear reactor

  or you slam the earth into the sun they're
• 1:38
  heavy metals and they have additional problems that come with that and yes

  they do list that their carcinogens on the safety data sheet and

  they'll have a hazard warning on the on the label but if they're sold to you
• 1:49
  you might think they're safe to use might we think they're right to use the
• 1:53
  people selling them don't tell you that under the regulations you're meant to
• 1:58
  keep a workbook for 25 years stating where they were the carcinogens were used

  and how you controlled their spread.

  Now, are you keeping a logbook when you buy a product containing cobalt and
• 2:10
  nickel? No. And can you control where they go? No.

  And you're meant to ensure that workers aren't exposed to high levels of these.

  Now, a lot of people told me not to name and shame the people responsible,

  but I am anyway, because...

  Cancer is an important issue to me. It's affected my family.

  And the people selling them, the first two I'm going to name, are hypocrites.

  John Kempf of AEA and Graham Sate of Nutritex Solutions are selling carcinogenic fertilizers.

  But more than that, they're hypocrites because they talk about soil biology.

  They talk about protecting the farmers and protecting the soil against the ills
• 2:54
  and evils of commercial horticulture.

  They talk about how nitrates cause cancer.

  You know, I've heard Graham say, talk about that at Groundswell and how he was

  led on a journey to improve the health of farmers and farming and food.

  And that's what brought him to create NutriTech solutions.

  Well, that's a load of rubbish, isn't it? If you're selling carcinogens.

  John Kent talks about being a deeply religious

  talks about working with other Amish farmers In line

  with biology I don't know how they sleep at night They're

  selling carcinogenic fertilisers I don't know how they can go to church And

  look the other Amish farmers in the eye Knowing that they sell carcinogenic

  fertilisers Graham Sate sells cobalt shuttle Which is a stone cold Contains

  cobalt sulfate which is a stone cold carcinogen.

  John Kempf has seven products containing carcinogens with his micronutrient

  and his cobalt products being the worst.

  Now, people have said, aren't you scared of being sued? But you can't be sued

  if you're telling the truth.

  And you can't be sued if you've got evidence. And where have I got this evidence from?

  I've got it from Graham Sates' website. I've got it from John Kempf's website.

  I've got it from their safety data sheets.

  Now, they're not the only ones selling these products and there's some shockers

  out there at least their safety data sheet tells that they're carcinogenic

  there are others out there that don't there's others out there

  that are promoting their use in organic farming and

  i'm going to name and shame them later but they're not hypocrites because

  they're not talking about being on a journey to make soil healthier

  and humans healthier and they're not talking about protecting
• 4:38
  soil biology so they'll get named later and we'll
• 4:41
  also question the soil association and ecocert and omri who are allowing these
• 4:46
  products to be used on organic farms so watch this space now why am i doing

  it i want to prevent a lung cancer explosion in 10 to 20 years people are looking
• 4:56
  journalists and scientists are looking for a reason in spikes in a cancer around
• 4:59
  the world in the western world,

  pointing the fingers at certain agricultural inputs or gm crops let's start
• 5:06
  by looking at the use of carcinogenic fertilizers let's raid these companies
• 5:10
  and find out which farms they've been going on and how much they knew about
• 5:15
  them being carcinogenic.

  When you see Graham Sate or John Kemp, if they come back to Groundswell or any
• 5:20
  other trade shows around the world or farming events, ask them,
• 5:25
  is it true you're selling carcinogenic products?

  How does that square with your biological farming?

  These are stone-cold, residual, get-in-your-lungs, never-leave carcinogens.

  We need to shame these people and to stop them.

  Now, John Kemp's response has been to block me on Twitter.

  He doesn't stop selling them. He doesn't address the issue. now i

  did name one other person two other people one's since

  retired and one person has said

  he's going to carry on selling them or not sorry sorry

  not carry on selling them carry on advising their use even though

  he knows the highly carcinogenic residual compounds so joel williams i'd ask

  you to stop advising people to use cobalt and nickel sulfate you know if you've

  ever been affected by cancer in your family you know i don't think you can sit well with it

  it wouldn't sit well with me now i'm not offering an alternative i've been accused

  of saying you're only doing this so you can promote utremus products that's

  not true i'm not offering an alternative because cobalt and nickel are not needed

  as a fertilizer not even as a micronutrient.

  Certainly not in the levels that these people are saying they should be put on so

  there's no alternative to offer also morally i'm

  not religious but i've got morals and i wouldn't sell you a carcinogen

  and also i don't want to be accused of profiting from exposing people for selling

  carcinogens three reasons why i'm not offering an alternative now why are why

  are graham state and john kent selling carcinogens the first is in regenerative

  farming there's a paradigm,

  get crop nutrition right and you won't have pest diseases and weeds i don't

  believe in this paradigm.

  But you can see why you've come to that conclusion you know

  john kemp talks about how he was led on this journey because he

  applied his wonderful products to his field and there was no spider on the on

  the field using his system yeah there won't be john because you've killed them

  all with a biocide there won't be any there might be a yield bump but it's not

  because you've added a micronutrient,

  it's because you've killed everything that was there, the background levels

  of all the pests and pathogens.

  One very important extra point is that not only are these products carcinogenic,

  once you've diluted them, put them in the spray tank, the solution that you

  make is still classified as carcinogenic.

  That's how unbelievably toxic they are.

  If you were to take five litres of that diluted solution that you spray onto the crop and sell it,

  it would still need a label on it saying this product is carcinogenic now think

  about that with other fertilizers other poisons never that would never happen

  that's how unbelievably toxic these products are.

  They're also these gurus. They have to have a solution for every problem on the farm.

  Now, as a scientist, if a farmer comes to me and I don't have a solution for

  their problem, I'll say, I'm sorry, I've not got a solution for that.

  I might think about it for a while.

  I might offer them somebody else's solution or another way of looking at it.

  But if you're a guru and you're seen as the oracle, then you have to come up with a solution.

  And if all you can sell is micronutrient products, then that's what you're going to offer them.

  Now in certain countries you it's very

  difficult to sell pesticides if you're a small up-and-coming company you

  can sell micronutrients and so the only

  thing in your toolbox is micronutrients they're going to focus on

  them and then for some reason they've got

  down this dirty hole of selling carcinogens now i

  like regenerative farming i like direct drilling mint

  hill cover crops use are biologicals but

  i don't want to see it destroyed by a explosion

  in cancer in 10 to 20 years time and everyone's saying

  this absolute scandal this was a con from the start people need to get hold

  of this now and say look regenerative farming we're not having this organic

  farming we're not having this we need to stop using cobble and nickel salts

  and we need to name and shame more people who are using them and are selling them.

  So stop it. Stop it now because I'm coming after you and I won't stop until you stop selling them.
