- Apocalypse Ventures: Morning. The following audio transmission will forever change your album on society. You will no longer believe the narrative. You are about to wake up and see things for what they really are. facts and opinions. This is the Doom Daily Show. Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the Doom Daily Show. I am your host, Jester Dooms. The email, Doom Daily Show at gmail.com, everywhere on social media at Jester Dooms, the website www.jestersvoice. Good morning, everybody. It is a lovely Thursday, September 24th, 2026. Good morning. Hope all of you are having Decent weather. I've been really slapped sideways by the rain the last couple of days. It's really inhibiting things that are getting done. And if you listen to the show and pay attention, you know that I have a friend in town helping me do stuff. And the rain does anything but help us. So we are trying to find little things that could still be done outdoors in the rain and are working in the drizzle and in the mist and it's just kind of a pain in the ass. And when we do a project for the day, I want to feel accomplished, right? Like I want to have that feeling of accomplishment. I want to look back at the end of the day and be like, man, we got a lot done. This was a good day. But that hasn't happened the last few days because of the shit fucking rain. So we'll see what happens here. I mean, this also really has me thinking And I don't know if I want another project right now. I don't know if I want to bite any more off. But I got a guy hopefully coming out next month to work on the road down to the through the property. And he's bringing out big equipment and stuff like that. And and I'm like, really, I'm really thinking, man, should I have him level out a spot to put in a fucking pole barn? I'm like right there. Like, man, you know, if we had a pole barn, this big, wide, deep building. A lot of things could be built and be happening outside of the rain. I mean, think about it. You know, you could be doing construction projects in there, like I could build little buildings inside of the big building. We have a forklift. I could move stuff. Hell, I can even store some of the equipment attachments in the damn pole pole building. I don't know. It's just it's it's something I've been thinking about. You know, would it hurt to put in a a pole barn? Could be a good idea, could not be a good idea. I don't I don't know. Anyway. Something I am gonna ponder on because at the end of the day here, more storage needs to happen on the property. The end. The end. That's it. The end. Anyway. Moving on from that. had a lovely d dinner last night of lentil soup and leftover taco things. So I had loaded nachos and lentils. Lentil soup for dinner. Yeah. That was dinner. Gotta get back into doing the dinners. It's fun when my wife makes interesting things that I think it makes for a little bit of good entertainment on the show. Anyway. So yeah, we're trying to stay, you know, hyper fixated on these projects here, but I mean the sad reality is the rain is just fucking it up. But this also has distracted me from my excessive cleaning that will probably take place once my buddy goes goes home and goes back in a few weeks. When he goes back I'll be back to my excessive cleaning and excessive getting things done in that realm. Anyway, produce your scooter. How the hell are you over there? Good. Happy to hear it. See, producer Scooter has a big smile on his face yet again. I'm wondering if there's a special new man in his life. There might be. He's been very smiley the last couple days. One that can only assume he's got a new man. I I don't know. Anyway. So to recap, last episode we did, I had brought up, you know, the idea of a 24 7 live streaming channel. In order to get all the information that was going on in the government. And Producer Scooter said, you know, you're pretty much describing C SPAN. No. Yes and no. What I want is like three different screens inside the screen, right? With just scrolling everything that's happening at every moment. Do you remember how the old TV guide channels were where and I don't even know, is TV guide still a thing, producer scooter? Or you still watch it. That's the only okay, that's the only thing producer scooter watches. Okay. So if you remember T V Guide, when it when it got upgraded from just the boring blue screen and they had infomercials and different clips running at the top, but everything was still scrolling at the bottom. Like that's what I specifically want. I want a rolling, I want a rolling scroll at the bottom that is like updating you of what's happening, like in the moment. Like a section scrolls for a few seconds that's just war. A second scrolls for a few seconds that just finances and then fresh news out of the White House. And obviously that could be muted, but three different screens at the top, right, of breaking news around the nation. Okay. And then a middle screen of a live feed of what's going on currently from the press recorder, what's being announced and and Feed that thing on a loop till the next press release. Just feed it on a damn loop. Just have it restart and have caption on there so you can read it and still listen into the other thing. And then I would say I would want one more just for war coverage or just for disaster coverage, something like that. Like what's what's the big ticket item in the moment that we need to be concerned with right now? So you've got these three screens with everything scrolling at the bottom. That's more or less what I was describing. Anyway, we'll be right back after these messages. Hey, Producer Scooter here. I am still your host, Jester Dooms. So, in keeping the trend going for the week, got an article here on the Epic Times. Judge declines to immediately block White House ban of three news outlets. A federal judge on September 23rd declined to block President Donald Trump's White House ban of three outlets for now, as he weighs arguments from news outlets and the government. Judge Timothy Kelly of the US District Court for the District of Columbia said during a remote hearing that he was not immediately imposing a temporary restraining order that would have enabled CNN MSN now and Politico to access the White House. In quotations, I'll consider what you told me today and try to get you an answer as soon as I can, Kelly said at the conclusion of the hearing. The ban on CNN MS Now and Politico was announced by Trump on September 18th and began being enforced the following day. The White House sent letters to the outlets dated September 22nd that said the organization had violated the standards of professionalism and decorum inexpected of those given access to the White House complex, including by trafficking in verifiable falsehoods about national security and other issues and Publishing sensitive or classified information. That included CNN's reporting top secret details related to the construction of new White House bunker and politicos reporting that officials were considering lifting sanctions on Russia, even though the Trump administration has not actually intensified sanctions on Russia, according to the letters. Hmm. Hmm. So let's let's pause for a second. There I look at this in one of two ways. Okay. W first things first. Way one. If information is going to be released to anybody and it is sensitive and you don't want it out there, it shouldn't be being released to any news media outlet. It's their job to report on things. Okay. So if they if somebody slipped up and gave them that information, that's on that person that slipped up. If they're getting blueprints about the new bunker being built at the White House or they're getting like inside information about how it's being built and they're publishing that, I mean, that's that's news, man. That's taxpayer funded. You know, the people have a right to know. So if you don't want these things out there, you shouldn't be sharing them or allowing these people to acquire said knowledge. Now, on the flip side to this, the second part of this is if it is all false and it is all made up and this is all bullshit. Then these people should be held accountable. The end. A lawyer for the Outlets told Kelly during the hearing that the White House can only in emergency situations revoke press passes without notice. He pointed to previous rollings, including a 2009 decision in favor of reporter Brian Caram that ordered the government to restore Caram's White House press pass because it did not provide notice to Caram before the the revocation. Revocation. Kelly also said in 2018 that the White House appeared to violate the constitutional right to due process of Jim Acosta, a CNN reporter, by revoking his pass to the White House without giving him notice, and an opportunity to re to rebute the government's reason for the revocation and a written decision. So there you go. 78 reporters across CNN, MS Now, and Politico have been banned indefinitely without any notice, without any standards being Articulated, the lawyer for the outlet said. Kelly said during the september twenty third hearing, I think it is fair to say the process that the court laid out in those two cases wasn't followed here. Well, obviously, a government lawyer told the judge that the White House has given the outlets due process because it laid out a process for the plaintiffs to contest the bans. ⁓ the plot thickens. In quotes, the president should be able to take immediate action to protect national security, the lawyer said. Kelly responded I don't know how a letter that they got after their pass got revoked could provide them with the kind of standard that they would have to conform their conduct to. And that's that's kind of the thing too. I mean, if you're pulling people's passes and then sending them a letter like, hey, you fucked up, you fucked up, we took your pass, sorry. I mean, there there is no there is no way for them to, you know, follow rules, act accordingly, whatever. So like I can understand that part too. In filing before the hearing, lawyers for the outlet said the White House ban also ran a file of the First Amendment because Trump has made it clear the ban stemmed from their viewpoint. And I think that's a pretty fair statement. Government lawyers had said in a brief to Kelly that the ban did not infringe on First Amendment rights, and that the basis was that the outlets disclosed secret information, ⁓ basically putting national security in jeopardy. Now I mean, what do you do in that instance when you have a a news media outlet that you know is problematic? Does the first amendment allow them to be assholes? No, it doesn't. So, you know, then what do you do in that circumstance? In quotes, access to the White House is a privilege, not a right. They said pointing to previous rulings, including a nineteen sixty five Supreme Court decision. Trump previously banned the Associated Press from the White House in some other spaces. A federal appeals court cleared the ban from the Oval Off Office and certain other areas, but said the reporters must be allowed access to the East Room in the White House. At the very least, the government may control reporters' access to restricted presidential areas such as the Oval Office, even for viewpoint discriminator discriminatory reasons. The government lawyers said in a brief to Kelly, hmm, they said that part of the decision related to the East Room should be overruled. That's it. That's the article. We'll be right back after these messages. Jester from It's Doomsday Podcast and the Doom Daily Show here. Do you ever find yourself overloaded with way too much information? Ladies and gentlemen, welcome back to the Doom Daily Show. I am your host, Jester Dooms, the email, Doom Daily Show at gmail.com. Everywhere on social media at Jester Dooms. You know the rest. Make sure to like, share, and subscribe. Okay. I feel like I had talked this to death the last episode. And I don't really want to harp on it too much. But again, I go back to the simplistic idea that I think Trump is a little drunk with power. I think he's going a little bit overboard. In certain circumstances. And I think he is reaching for straws to keep news media outlets out of the White House that he doesn't want there. Now, could there be a way to solve this in a much more nicer fashion? Like a little bit more of a tactful scenario? Yeah. Why don't you know he's he's boys with Hannity? So why doesn't he just call Hannity on the phone and say, hey, listen, there's this story. We want you guys to have it first and we want to destroy CNN's ratings. Like, couldn't you do that? Or would that be like abusive power? I mean, I call my friends and I talk to them about, you know, work. Couldn't Trumpy Trump call Sean and be like, yo, what's up, dude? Check this shit out. And then he reports on it. And then he, you know, he's able to scoop all the other stations? I don't know. I don't know if that's legal or not, but I mean One would think you could, you know, one would think that would be a feasible thing, but who knows? But the other thing is too, like, is if you're drafting up memos and you're force feeding these memos to news media outlets that you like, and w you know, like they're doing a press release, blah, blah, blah. The press secretary's got a script they're reading through, and I'm sure there's a teleprompter there somewhere and they're getting this latest break and things. But somebody knew this first because they typed it up, right? So couldn't you just send the speaking points off to these news media outlets that you want to have the stories ahead of time? Fuck it. Let CNN and MS Now and Politico show up. Fuck ⁓ They're the last one getting the story. Fuck. I mean, that's where I'd be. Like, yeah, you guys can come if you want, but it it's been running on Fox for the last two hours. Eat my ass and then fucking walk out. I bet they'll just stop coming. I bet they won't show and they'll be like, fuck it, we're done. Screw this guy. We're we're out of here. We'll wait for the next, we'll wait for the next term. We'll come back. I don't know. I just you know, I just go back and I think that we would have more honest reporting news if news media outlets were held accountable for the things that they do wrong. That's it. And I don't think that that's I don't think that that's reaching. We have, ladies and gentlemen, we have Websites out there specifically designed for debunking news information, for debunking stories, for anything. I mean, you could even plug a lot of this stuff like AI's taking it over now. You just plug all this stuff into AI and it'll tell you like, well, you know, we s we scoured the interwebs and this is what we found. And it turns out this is what actually happened based on blah, blah, blah, blah. Unless you ask questions about like September 11, 2001, then you get some really contradictory shit. That's interesting. Anyway, but yeah, I I definitely think that if you would simply impose some negative consequences to these news media outlets for doing the kind of shit that they're doing, that's the way I look at it. But you have to ask yourself, is doing that, if if Trumpy Trump would do that, could that make matters worse? If he was the one that signed the executive order. imposing more rules and regulations on news media outlets, could that make matters worse? Because we know there's countries around the world where you cannot speak negatively about the world leaders or you will get got. And is that would we be starting to slide down that slope as well into like this dictator ship? I don't know. You think about it, you let me know. We'll be right back after this break. Can't get enough of Jester Doom's? Check out his other show, It's Doomsday Podcast, available on all podcast platforms. That's It's Doomsday Podcast. Back to the show. Ladies and gentlemen, welcome back to the Doom Daily Show. Still your host, Jester Dooms. All right. So I feel like we beat that with a dead horse, or we beat the dead horse out of that story. We we fuck the story up. We kill it. It's dead. It's over. There's nothing more to talk about with that. And I don't want to stay on that until we get some like updates or articles about what's transpiring. Okay. Enough is enough. It's it. It's over. It's done. I don't, you know. ⁓ This has to be one of the most like in the media fucking presidents ever. I don't like look. I don't remember outside of, you know, when the war happened, I don't remember Bush being in the media this much. Before Clinton and Monica, you know, did their thing. I don't remember him being in the media that much. Barack was in the media a lot, but it was due to like weird shit. And then Joe, no, we could fucking find Joe half the time. It was like we there was a time it was like months no one seen him. Everybody thought he was fucking dead. I don't know if y'all remember that, but his last his his during his presidency, it was like, what the hell is going on? Like, where the fuck is he at? Like no one's heard from like months went by. And everybody's just like, ⁓ he he must be dead. And they're just waiting to tell the American people that Kamala's taking over. You guys remember that? I don't remember how long it was. It could've I my I could be over exaggerated. It could have just been weeks, but there was like he you didn't see much of him. And it was because they couldn't put him in front of a camera, they couldn't let him talk. He was all sorts of fucked up all the time. Like half the time he was falling asleep, the other half of the time he was talking out of his ass and not making any fucking sense. It was it was some shit. Let's go brand it. ⁓ I think that the news agencies are kind of on their way out anyway. You know, in the grand scheme of things, I think they're kinda going away. I I hate to say this, but and and I'm gonna sound like a fucking I'm gonna tell you guys where I get my news from. If it's not blatantly obvious that I get most of my news from the Epic Times, you guys pss you're just not listening to the fucking show. I like the Epic Times. A lot, in fact. I find the way the stories are written to be very non-biased, but obviously they cater to one side of the political aisle. It's very clear. But the I The articles are written very factual, very non-biased. When somebody that's a celebrity or political figure is being torn down for something they've done wrong, there's not little jabs thrown out there. It's just facts. This is what happened. This is what we know. This is who's expected to investigate. And this is when we're supposed to get an update. The end. Story recap, what accusations were, what actually happened, blah, blah, blah. Over. Okay, so in the in Epic Times is an app. Okay, they email me, they send me notifications on the app. I could scroll through the app and get all the news I want about what's going on financially, US government, worldwide, everything. It's there. I like it. And I don't get paid to promote the Epic Times. I'm just saying it's what I like. Now, the flip side to this is where I get the rest of my news from, believe it or not, is social fucking media. People share things that they find intriguing. And if they hit my feed, I might click on it because I might find it intriguing. And then I'll go back and I'll look the story up. And typically on the Epic Times, I'll go, I'll find that story and I'll read about it there to get more of an idea of what what's happening. And then again, to go back to the Epic Times thing, the app has a feature to where if there's a breaking news article, something's happened. I could literally, if I'm Bluetooth to my vehicle, just hit play, it'll come through my speakers and it'll read me the whole damn article. So I can like get the news while driving. Late breaking, you know, the breaking news while driving. It's fantastic. So Is it possible that like actual news stations, actual reporting is going to be a thing of the past? Probably. You know, another thing to consider with that is everybody's got a smartphone. Some of these smartphones are shooting like 8K now. All right. And a lot of people are buying hobbyist mics. Like they're walking around with like decent quality microphones in their pocket. Better mic quality microphones. than I had when I started its Doomsday podcast in 2019. I had this whole fucking setup, man, this fucking stick mic on a stand and these this like special box that let the the mixer talk to the computer. And when there was like a bunch of us together like doing a segment for a show, we'd like three or four of us would have to like cuddle like huddle around one microphone. Like it was a shit piss system. And it w it had that very analog but in the background. Very analog sounding, not digital at all. All right. And now it's 2026. I'm talking to you guys through a road mic that fits in my fucking pocket. And I can do this all through my fucking phone. I mean, it like I had a fucking Pelican case with all this recording equipment in it. And I had to have a laptop or a desktop and had to connect to the internet and like do all these things. Nope. Phone, pocket full of mics, bam, let's ready to rock and roll. And I say this because so many people have this capability now. And I absolutely love I love it so much more. And I think the news media outlets love it too. And they don't want to admit that they love it, but I love the raw cell phone vintage cell phone videos footage that you get from breaking events. Like that's always the best. Like this the guy with the cell phone that wouldn't stop recording while the tornado's coming through and lawn chairs are flying at him. Like that's the best fucking footage. And then you see that come over and it's, you know, it's popular. It's it's in everybody's feed. It's hitting FYPs in different places. And, you know, boom. Everybody's seeing the craziness. Everybody's seeing what happened. And sometimes it's like a caption at the bottom, like, man survives F3 tornado, dodges, 37 launch chairs. And then it might have some like cinematic music going over it. And then you'll scroll, it'll pop up in your feed again. Same video, but somebody will have edited and slowed it down. And it's As you can see here, the F3 Tornado picks up 37 lawn chairs and one by one deliberately throws them at the cameraman and then slows it down as these lawn chairs are flying at him. Okay. And then a couple days later, it'll be remixed and spun back and forth with like system of a down plane over it and like lawn chairs just ping-ponging off the street lights. And it's like, ⁓ yeah, we totally know we totally everybody knows. What happened with that F3 tornado now? Everybody knows. Everybody's got it. News media outlets are posting it. It's everywhere. It's fine. What if that happens to be the future of news reporting? Just individual people with their phones, with their little mics in their pocket, and you don't see reporters in the field anymore. What if that becomes a thing of the past? And the news media outlets just they take, you know, user submitted stuff. They cut them a little check, like very freelance, like freelance type. Breaking news. Because it's only news if someone fucking reports it, right? If nobody starts to see it, nothing's happened. You get what I'm saying? So these guys, th this whole system of news reporting might be on its way out and we might see something way different in the next 10 years. I feel like it's already changed a lot. Like I feel in my lifetime the news has significantly evolved and has changed. Anyway, just my opinion. Jester wants to thank you for listening to the Doom Daily Show. Don't forget to like, share, and subscribe. That's about all the time we have for today. We'll be back here tomorrow on Friday for another exciting episode of the Doom Daily Show. Make sure to like, share, and subscribe. Producer Scooter, sir, if you would hit that button. Facts and opinions. This is
