- 0:00Speaker 1: This is the Ben and Ashley I Almost Famous podcast
- 0:03Speaker 1: with iHeartRadio.
- 0:06Speaker 2: Welcome back to the Almost Famous podcast.
- 0:09Speaker 3: It's been in back by.
- 0:10Speaker 2: Very popular man, outrageously popular to the man, the man
- 0:16Speaker 2: who brings the joy, the truth, the light, the man
- 0:20Speaker 2: who lights up our years with his voice and analyzation
- 0:28Speaker 2: of reality television. Easton, Welcome back.
- 0:31Speaker 4: What an introduction. Wow, Well, I'm glad to be back.
- 0:35Speaker 4: I'm so honored to return. I am glad I passed
- 0:39Speaker 4: the audition. Yeah, and I'm excited to continue this world
- 0:44Speaker 4: of Perfect Match with you. Ben. I'm just having the
- 0:46Speaker 4: best time.
- 0:47Speaker 3: Yeah, you blew us away.
- 0:50Speaker 2: Listeners were scraping at their phones to comment. Please bring
- 0:56Speaker 2: Easton back, He's so good at this. We are breaking
- 0:59Speaker 2: down The Perfect Match episodes three and four. If you
- 1:02Speaker 2: haven't been a part of this yet, we're breaking down
- 1:04Speaker 2: the Perfect Match this season because Bachelor Nation has a
- 1:08Speaker 2: lot to do with this season of The Perfect Match.
- 1:10Speaker 2: We have two contestants now starting in episode three from
- 1:14Speaker 2: The Bachelor. Both Rachel and Clayton are on the beaches
- 1:18Speaker 2: in Tulom for the Perfect Match. We got to follow
- 1:22Speaker 2: their story. This is an exciting time for Bachelor Nation
- 1:24Speaker 2: to see if something can be rekindled after the massive
- 1:29Speaker 2: heartbreaks that occurred during Clayton's season of The Bachelor, leading
- 1:33Speaker 2: Rachel to go on to be the Bachelorette with Gabby Wendy. Today,
- 1:38Speaker 2: we're gonna be breaking down both episodes three and four
- 1:41Speaker 2: together because this season is great, but it's long and
- 1:45Speaker 2: we need to start consolidating, or we're gonna run out
- 1:48Speaker 2: of time, like.
- 1:52Speaker 4: We don't mean run out of time, like before we die.
- 1:55Speaker 2: Or I feel like this could go on for like
- 1:58Speaker 2: three months, like the show.
- 2:00Speaker 3: It's a really weird.
- 2:01Speaker 2: Thing when a show's streaming and it all gets released
- 2:04Speaker 2: and we're still talking about this like two and a
- 2:07Speaker 2: half months from now, and the show has been aired
- 2:10Speaker 2: for two and a half months and everybody's watched it.
- 2:13Speaker 2: I just feel like we'll get out of date.
- 2:15Speaker 4: I agree, And I wonder if the dating show model
- 2:20Speaker 4: lends itself better to week by week because people love
- 2:24Speaker 4: to analyze and like make theories and stuff. It's kind
- 2:27Speaker 4: of weird to have it all out there at once, right.
- 2:29Speaker 2: Yeah, it's like the binging thing. I also wonder I
- 2:32Speaker 2: don't know this world well enough. I wonder if the
- 2:35Speaker 2: money for a show is is better when it airs
- 2:41Speaker 2: week to week, Like, why would we ever do it
- 2:44Speaker 2: week to week if you're gonna get the same amount
- 2:45Speaker 2: of money for a show if people just binge it
- 2:48Speaker 2: in one night.
- 2:50Speaker 3: But here's the truth.
- 2:53Speaker 2: The press dies off and so the perfect match is
- 2:56Speaker 2: in everybody's thoughts right now, and it's all over the news,
- 3:00Speaker 2: especially episodes three and four, people are talking about and
- 3:05Speaker 2: in a month, nobody's gonna remember it, and so it's
- 3:07Speaker 2: kind of like a flash in the pan because it
- 3:09Speaker 2: comes and goes with a bachelor. It's all the only
- 3:12Speaker 2: thing people have in US weekly for two months as
- 3:15Speaker 2: it's airing exactly Okay, Easton, I'm going to get started
- 3:20Speaker 2: to just kind of get warmed up here. I know
- 3:22Speaker 2: there's a lot of nerves when it comes to co
- 3:24Speaker 2: hosting the Almost Famous podcast. There's a lot of responsibility.
- 3:27Speaker 2: So it's just like kind of rapid fires. Some thoughts.
- 3:30Speaker 2: How are you liking the show? Obviously you're here week
- 3:32Speaker 2: one we had Clayton and Ashley four, episodes two, you're
- 3:37Speaker 2: back for three and four, pretty far into this thing.
- 3:40Speaker 3: How you liking it?
- 3:41Speaker 4: And I'm loving it? I'm in It's a lot of fun. Again,
- 3:45Speaker 4: I don't watch a lot of these kind of like
- 3:48Speaker 4: dating reality shows, so I'm kind of like learning the
- 3:52Speaker 4: vibes and it's fun. I'm having a really good time.
- 3:57Speaker 4: I didn't know who any of these people were besides
- 4:00Speaker 4: Rachel and Clayton, and I'm loving him. I have like favorites,
- 4:05Speaker 4: I have people I dislike, and I'm like forming my
- 4:09Speaker 4: own relationships with these people. I'm forming my own perfect
- 4:12Speaker 4: match as I watched the show, and I'm having a blast.
- 4:14Speaker 4: I'm really joining this.
- 4:16Speaker 3: Who are you liking right now? Like, who are you
- 4:18Speaker 3: rooting for?
- 4:20Speaker 4: I love a d and Ali. They're like my favorite couple.
- 4:23Speaker 4: I love them. I want I know, well you know,
- 4:26Speaker 4: we'll get into it, but I want them to adopt me.
- 4:29Speaker 4: I love them and Louis. I've come around on Louis.
- 4:35Speaker 3: You were a fan of Louis at first.
- 4:36Speaker 2: I've been a fan of Louis not because I think
- 4:38Speaker 2: he's like the best dude in the world. He's entertaining
- 4:41Speaker 2: to me, and he's kind of like this. He's definitely
- 4:44Speaker 2: he actually he wants to not be twenty three. He's
- 4:46Speaker 2: definitely twenty three years old.
- 4:47Speaker 4: Oh yeah, a big time. He threw me for a
- 4:50Speaker 4: curveball in episode three, and I enjoyed that. I thought
- 4:55Speaker 4: that was a lot of fun. He's really standing out
- 4:57Speaker 4: to me and we'll get it again. We'll get into this.
- 5:01Speaker 4: But I really enjoy Freddie too. I've really I really
- 5:06Speaker 4: liked Freddy on the date in this episode. Yeah, so
- 5:09Speaker 4: those but if I had to pick one favorite Ad
- 5:11Speaker 4: and Ali, I will die for them. I love them
- 5:13Speaker 4: so much.
- 5:14Speaker 2: I think they're fantastic and it's awesome to see a
- 5:19Speaker 2: dynamic that you watch them and you're like, you could
- 5:21Speaker 2: actually work. Like it's very clear you can work in
- 5:24Speaker 2: the real world and the perfect match is not set
- 5:26Speaker 2: up as we talked about with Clayton to build those
- 5:29Speaker 2: real relationships, but you can meet your partner anywhere. And
- 5:32Speaker 2: it feels like to me at this point that they
- 5:36Speaker 2: are a real couple who really enjoy each other and
- 5:39Speaker 2: who can make each other laugh, and they have this
- 5:42Speaker 2: dynamic Easton.
- 5:43Speaker 3: You're a married man.
- 5:45Speaker 2: They have this dynamic that only exists within like years
- 5:49Speaker 2: of marriage where you can kind of like joke with
- 5:52Speaker 2: the other person about what's annoying you and you just
- 5:54Speaker 2: know it without saying it. But the person's like, I
- 5:56Speaker 2: know I'm driving them crazy right now. And it's awesome.
- 6:00Speaker 4: Yes, absolutely, And like I was watching them and I
- 6:03Speaker 4: kept having to remind myself, like, oh, they've only known
- 6:05Speaker 4: each other a couple of days at this point, like
- 6:08Speaker 4: they four days, Yeah, four days, that's crazy. But like
- 6:11Speaker 4: I'm like, oh, they've been together six months at least
- 6:14Speaker 4: or a year. But yeah, it's really I know that,
- 6:18Speaker 4: like this setting lends itself to a very intense connection
- 6:20Speaker 4: very quickly, But I just think that they get along
- 6:24Speaker 4: so well. They seem so compatible to me.
- 6:27Speaker 2: Well, it starts out with eighty and Ali were kind
- 6:30Speaker 2: of transitioning from episode two. They're in the boardroom making
- 6:33Speaker 2: the decisions on behalf of the house they just signed.
- 6:36Speaker 2: They decide to send Louis and Alex on a date.
- 6:41Speaker 2: Alex is the one that Ali was really pushing to
- 6:45Speaker 2: get into the home. I never felt like he was
- 6:48Speaker 2: doing it because he necessarily wanted to move on from Ad,
- 6:52Speaker 2: But I do think Ali was saying it with like, hey,
- 6:54Speaker 2: I wouldn't mind looking at her in the house for
- 6:56Speaker 2: the next few weeks.
- 6:57Speaker 4: Yes, And I mean Alex is attractive. And I got
- 7:05Speaker 4: to shout out this quote from her like introduction, I
- 7:09Speaker 4: just I loved I rewound it and watched this two
- 7:11Speaker 4: or three times. I am constantly horny, the sexiest fire
- 7:15Speaker 4: I've never been in love. So I want to save
- 7:17Speaker 4: my freaker side from my man if I find him here.
- 7:21Speaker 4: I am constantly horny.
- 7:22Speaker 3: I love that.
- 7:23Speaker 4: I want that on a T shirt.
- 7:26Speaker 3: Just walk around town.
- 7:28Speaker 4: I am constantly horny.
- 7:31Speaker 2: It's still amaze me since at the vulnerability and the
- 7:34Speaker 2: transparency that these contestants bring to the beach.
- 7:37Speaker 3: It feels like a theme of.
- 7:38Speaker 2: The season that they have found not only I don't
- 7:42Speaker 2: know what is it, ten attractive people, but ten very
- 7:45Speaker 2: vocal people about what they're on the beach four And
- 7:49Speaker 2: I enjoy it because again I go back to and
- 7:52Speaker 2: I sound like a record that's repeating itself. It makes
- 7:57Speaker 2: me uncomfortable, and I enjoy it because it's so different
- 8:03Speaker 2: than how I would function on a show like this.
- 8:07Speaker 2: And I enjoy watching it because I have respect, honestly
- 8:11Speaker 2: for their openness to just say, hey, I'm letting it
- 8:14Speaker 2: all out there.
- 8:15Speaker 4: Yeah, I mean, I'm with you. I think if I
- 8:17Speaker 4: was on the show, I would have completely differently than
- 8:20Speaker 4: they are. And so that's why I love watching this,
- 8:22Speaker 4: because it's like, oh, this is what it would be
- 8:23Speaker 4: like to be this open in this vocal.
- 8:27Speaker 3: This hot and horny all the time.
- 8:29Speaker 4: Yeah, too hot to handle in a lot of cases.
- 8:31Speaker 2: Yes, So I think on this date you preface Alex's
- 8:37Speaker 2: kind of feelings going into this date. They are a
- 8:40Speaker 2: very attractive couple. They have a lot of physical chemistry.
- 8:44Speaker 2: Here's my take on the date. Though, louis like she
- 8:49Speaker 2: makes him nervous. I think he's all talk, that's my
- 8:52Speaker 2: take on him. He's coming out swinging from the very
- 8:56Speaker 2: opening of this show with how Smoothie is and what
- 8:59Speaker 2: he can offer somebody, and he's kind of confident and
- 9:02Speaker 2: he's there. He goes on this date with Alex. It
- 9:05Speaker 2: feels like she makes him shudder, meaning he is so
- 9:09Speaker 2: like intimidated.
- 9:11Speaker 4: Yes, I agree. And when they're on the date, they're
- 9:15Speaker 4: like in this pool and they do the underwater camera
- 9:19Speaker 4: and you can see Alex is like touching his leg
- 9:22Speaker 4: and at one point I think she's like playing with
- 9:24Speaker 4: his curly leg hair.
- 9:25Speaker 3: Which it's kind of a weird camera shot.
- 9:28Speaker 4: Yeah, very very weird. But I can tell he's like
- 9:31Speaker 4: I got the same vibe that he's being. He's quietly
- 9:33Speaker 4: intimidated at this point and it's like, oh God, what
- 9:35Speaker 4: is this force of nature that I've been reckoning with?
- 9:38Speaker 3: I had to stop.
- 9:40Speaker 2: Like that shot made me feel awkward because I didn't
- 9:42Speaker 2: know what they were going to be showing underneath the water,
- 9:44Speaker 2: Like I don't need to know that she's touching his
- 9:47Speaker 2: leg hair and that he is enjoying it.
- 9:52Speaker 3: I didn't want to have to see that.
- 9:54Speaker 2: I didn't see it, luckily, but it felt like that's
- 9:56Speaker 2: what they were going to back us into.
- 9:59Speaker 4: Yeah, it was a We've talked about the camera work
- 10:04Speaker 4: in this show, like the the ims with the really
- 10:07Speaker 4: wide angle and like and this underwe the underwater camera.
- 10:11Speaker 4: Realizing that's an option, I'm like, oh god, what else
- 10:13Speaker 4: are we going to see with this thing? Now? I
- 10:15Speaker 4: know that's there?
- 10:16Speaker 2: Is there like a dude scuba diving like right next
- 10:18Speaker 2: to him, Like how is is this a drone camera?
- 10:21Speaker 3: Is it on a rope?
- 10:22Speaker 2: Like in my In My Years of Bachelor, they did
- 10:26Speaker 2: have some underwater shots, but it was a guy holding
- 10:29Speaker 2: this underwater camera. That shot was very close, so you
- 10:32Speaker 2: see like three ft away kind of floating into him.
- 10:34Speaker 3: Be like, oh my bad. Guys, Like.
- 10:37Speaker 4: That's the thing I keep reminding myself too, is like
- 10:39Speaker 4: they're they're doing this stuff. It's no different from Bachelor,
- 10:42Speaker 4: but like and there's like, you know, a guy like me,
- 10:44Speaker 4: like wearing a backwards hat and cargo shorts is holding
- 10:46Speaker 4: a camera like it's the at them.
- 10:48Speaker 2: So odd, that's so weird. Uh, this day doesn't have
- 10:53Speaker 2: a lot of like depth to it more than the
- 10:56Speaker 2: fact that they just feel like they're both into each other.
- 10:58Speaker 2: They're both there for similar reasons. They feel like very
- 11:01Speaker 2: similar humans. At this point Easton, it feels like to me,
- 11:05Speaker 2: there is no shot Louie is going with anybody other
- 11:08Speaker 2: than Alex.
- 11:10Speaker 4: Yep, but he's you know, he's really into Sandy. So
- 11:17Speaker 4: like when I saw this date, I was like, oh,
- 11:19Speaker 4: it's over. It's over for her. He's good. And they
- 11:22Speaker 4: keep showing other contestants talking about how Louis loves a
- 11:26Speaker 4: shiny new thing out Louis loves new things, like okay,
- 11:28Speaker 4: well here's a new thing. He's on a date with her.
- 11:30Speaker 4: It's over, and we learned that that is not the case.
- 11:34Speaker 4: It's very interesting.
- 11:35Speaker 2: It is very interesting. Freddie and Rachel are also set
- 11:38Speaker 2: up on a date. Remember this is all done by
- 11:40Speaker 2: Adi and Ali. The really funny dynamic. Here is Ady
- 11:45Speaker 2: back at the house. She's telling all the girls how
- 11:47Speaker 2: beautiful Alex is and how beautiful Rachel is, and how
- 11:51Speaker 2: nervous she is about her man, who also helped her
- 11:54Speaker 2: invite these people.
- 11:55Speaker 3: Into the home.
- 11:57Speaker 2: I enjoy these conversations because not only did it bring
- 12:00Speaker 2: some suspense to the show for me, where I'm like,
- 12:03Speaker 2: I get it, eighty, You're you're not wrong here, it's
- 12:06Speaker 2: also just funny and enjoyable to see contestants on a
- 12:12Speaker 2: rally show in a lot of ways be supportive of
- 12:16Speaker 2: other people, like Ady was saying, nothing more than just like, gosh,
- 12:20Speaker 2: dang it, these people are pretty coming in here.
- 12:22Speaker 3: I don't like it.
- 12:25Speaker 4: Yeah, it's again this like uh mechanic of bringing in
- 12:30Speaker 4: the new people through the boardroom. It's so it's so
- 12:33Speaker 4: interesting and it makes you like it adds so many
- 12:36Speaker 4: different layers to how you're playing the game here. But yeah,
- 12:41Speaker 4: I mean, eighty's really excited about everyone that could potentially
- 12:45Speaker 4: be coming in and uh and what she ends up choosing. Rachel.
- 12:48Speaker 4: Rachel Rekia are our favorite person someone I've spent a
- 12:54Speaker 4: lot of time with. Rachel. I was like seeing a
- 12:55Speaker 4: friend on screen. It was really cool.
- 12:57Speaker 2: It was I haven't seen her on screen a long time.
- 12:59Speaker 2: This felt like a very good, like Dan Namic, for
- 13:02Speaker 2: her to kind of walk in late meet this guy.
- 13:04Speaker 2: Both these dates Easton, in my mind, were perfect setups
- 13:08Speaker 2: if they were gonna break up a couple currently existing
- 13:11Speaker 2: in the house. It was just remind everybody, it's Freddie
- 13:14Speaker 2: and Madison still in the villa up to this point.
- 13:17Speaker 2: It was Louis and Sandy in the villa up until
- 13:20Speaker 2: this point. It felt like they hit a home run
- 13:23Speaker 2: when it came to breaking up these relationships because both
- 13:26Speaker 2: dates feel really good to me, and they feel like
- 13:30Speaker 2: very similar people.
- 13:31Speaker 3: Freddie.
- 13:32Speaker 2: If you listen to our last episode where Clayton co hosted,
- 13:35Speaker 2: he talks about just how great of a dude Freddy is.
- 13:37Speaker 2: He's everything you think he isn't and more. Rachel's an
- 13:41Speaker 2: amazing person, and so in my eyes, I'm like, Rachel
- 13:44Speaker 2: found her guy. There's gonna be no drama between her
- 13:48Speaker 2: and Clayton. They might even just say hi to each other,
- 13:51Speaker 2: but there's no way there's any crossover here. There's no
- 13:55Speaker 2: way these two entertained getting back together. That would be
- 13:59Speaker 2: foolish for them to try to do.
- 14:02Speaker 4: Yeah, this painting. Date is so cute and they seem
- 14:07Speaker 4: to be getting along great. And Rachel Rekia we know
- 14:10Speaker 4: her very well. She's gifted in many, many ways. Painting
- 14:15Speaker 4: is not one of her talents. I'm sorry, Rachel.
- 14:17Speaker 3: She can fly a plane. She cannot paint.
- 14:19Speaker 4: She cannot she cannot paint.
- 14:21Speaker 3: It is.
- 14:21Speaker 4: I'm going to say it right here. It's just the
- 14:23Speaker 4: worst painting I think I've ever seen. This is all
- 14:25Speaker 4: just abysmal. It made me want to turn the TV
- 14:28Speaker 4: off when I saw that painting. But that there, the
- 14:31Speaker 4: date is so cute, and I'm like, oh my god,
- 14:33Speaker 4: this is it. And I keep tricking myself because I'm like, oh,
- 14:36Speaker 4: this is this is her mat. She found her guy.
- 14:38Speaker 4: They're going to ride up in the sunset. Oh no,
- 14:41Speaker 4: how wrong I was.
- 14:42Speaker 5: Oh God, okay, I have to put you on to
- 14:53Speaker 5: these leggings I've been obsessed with lately. They're from this
- 14:56Speaker 5: brand called Tona, and get this, the designer behind them
- 15:00Speaker 5: also created Lululemon, so they know what they're doing. These
- 15:05Speaker 5: leggings are next level, think butterysoft, super flattering, and very comfortable,
- 15:12Speaker 5: but they're also very supportive in the right places. So
- 15:16Speaker 5: I started wearing them when the kids and I go
- 15:18Speaker 5: out to play, and now I'm basically living in them
- 15:21Speaker 5: twenty four seven. And here's what makes them even better.
- 15:24Speaker 5: With every payer you buy, it helps fund a mental
- 15:29Speaker 5: health counseling session for a teen in need. Isn't that
- 15:33Speaker 5: so awesome? Tona is on a mission to end teen
- 15:36Speaker 5: suicide and self harm, which we think is so important
- 15:40Speaker 5: and so incredible of them, So we partnered with Tona
- 15:43Speaker 5: to give you twenty percent off your order and free shipping.
- 15:47Speaker 5: So head to tonaactive dot com that is tnaactive dot
- 15:52Speaker 5: com and use code iHeart for twenty percent off in
- 15:55Speaker 5: free shipping.
- 16:00Speaker 2: And Alex's return from their date, Sandy says that her
- 16:03Speaker 2: stomach has dropped. Also, Freddy and Rachel returned back to
- 16:06Speaker 2: the villa from their date, and as Easton was kind
- 16:11Speaker 2: of referencing there, we have to remember that Clayton is
- 16:15Speaker 2: still at the villa with no idea that Rachel is
- 16:19Speaker 2: going to show up. Clayton is shocked. In fact, Easton,
- 16:25Speaker 2: we were all shocked. It's fun to see the two
- 16:28Speaker 2: of them together in a house that we can watch.
- 16:30Speaker 2: We have gotten to see it on an almost famous
- 16:32Speaker 2: podcast trip before there did seem to still be sparks,
- 16:35Speaker 2: so I wasn't shocked that maybe they would entertain each other.
- 16:39Speaker 2: But I was also thinking, at this point Rachel's with Freddy,
- 16:42Speaker 2: Clayton is not even going to get the time of
- 16:46Speaker 2: day from Rachel.
- 16:47Speaker 3: Why would she do that again? That would be.
- 16:50Speaker 2: Crazy interesting takeaway. It feels like most of the house,
- 16:55Speaker 2: if not all of the house, had no clue that
- 16:58Speaker 2: Rachel and Clayton would know each other.
- 17:00Speaker 4: Yeah, it seems like most of the people there, maybe
- 17:04Speaker 4: all of them have not seen The Bachelor before, Like
- 17:06Speaker 4: they seem very like they're aware of it, but.
- 17:09Speaker 3: I don't know.
- 17:09Speaker 4: There wasn't anyone that was like, oh my god, it's Raly,
- 17:11Speaker 4: it's Clayton from The Bachelor, like like they have those
- 17:14Speaker 4: reactions to other people like Juliette got a big pop
- 17:17Speaker 4: from a O. The csta key fans out there were
- 17:19Speaker 4: losing their minds. Uh, But they didn't know they had it,
- 17:23Speaker 4: that they knew each other A littlone had this dramatic
- 17:26Speaker 4: history and uh. Clayton says that the last time he
- 17:31Speaker 4: saw Rachel in person was about a year ago, and
- 17:35Speaker 4: I was thinking about that, and I'm like, was that
- 17:36Speaker 4: the Almost Famous trip. I got so excited because I
- 17:40Speaker 4: mean I wasn't there personally, but I was like, oh
- 17:42Speaker 4: my god, that's I wish. I was really hoping he'd say, yeah,
- 17:45Speaker 4: it was about a year ago in Pebble Beach, California
- 17:48Speaker 4: with the almost Famous podcast. But then actually I.
- 17:52Speaker 3: That you can listen to it anywhere.
- 17:55Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, you can listen to my immediate reaction. I
- 17:58Speaker 4: think I talked about it on the on the podcas. Yes,
- 18:00Speaker 4: but yeah, they're their reaction or their reunite recarnunion, Yeah,
- 18:07Speaker 4: their reunion. I was expecting it to just be like, oh, hey,
- 18:11Speaker 4: I'm doing I'm here too, like it's it's good to
- 18:13Speaker 4: see you, like may the best man win, and then
- 18:15Speaker 4: just kind of like going their merry way. Oh god, Uh,
- 18:18Speaker 4: it didn't happen. How did this happen? Like, like, how
- 18:21Speaker 4: did they how did that sparkt re ignited it?
- 18:25Speaker 2: I think it was a hello to a can we
- 18:27Speaker 2: come talk conversation where it and it happens at the
- 18:33Speaker 2: end of the night. I think both had had started
- 18:35Speaker 2: to realize that if not for each other, they were
- 18:38Speaker 2: going home. You know, the beauty of reality television and
- 18:43Speaker 2: how these shows are set up. Nobody really wants.
- 18:45Speaker 3: To go home.
- 18:45Speaker 2: You don't say yes to this experience, and you don't
- 18:49Speaker 2: get in shape for this experience. You don't buy clothes
- 18:52Speaker 2: for this experience. You don't start prepping for this experience
- 18:55Speaker 2: with the idea that, yes, I'm just going to give
- 18:57Speaker 2: it a good couple hour shot.
- 18:58Speaker 3: Here.
- 18:59Speaker 2: There's a lot of reasons why you want to stick around.
- 19:02Speaker 2: I think that is something that we have to remember
- 19:04Speaker 2: when it comes to the Clayton Rachel dynamic. Is it
- 19:07Speaker 2: definitely felt like Clayton had no interest in Juliette any longer,
- 19:13Speaker 2: that the two of them were holding on by a thread,
- 19:15Speaker 2: and that he knew if he didn't make the move first,
- 19:17Speaker 2: she would be probably dumping him as soon as she
- 19:20Speaker 2: was set up on a date with somebody she liked
- 19:22Speaker 2: just a little bit more. Rachel comes into a house
- 19:26Speaker 2: with some strong couples that already exist, and really her
- 19:29Speaker 2: shot is with Freddie kind of shockingly because I don't
- 19:34Speaker 2: see it, Freddie, the Freddie Madison relationship. I definitely see
- 19:38Speaker 2: that Freddi Rachel. I don't see the Freddy Madison relationship.
- 19:42Speaker 2: You know, Freddie seems pretty stuck on Madison. He comes
- 19:47Speaker 2: pretty much right back to her when he walks into
- 19:50Speaker 2: the house. This all comes up to Nick Lachey kind
- 19:53Speaker 2: of sharing with us the two ladies will be leaving
- 19:55Speaker 2: at the end of the night. So two of these
- 19:57Speaker 2: ladies that are in the house currently people who have
- 20:01Speaker 2: you know, been in cup relationships previously on the Perfect
- 20:04Speaker 2: Match and some of those newbies could be going home.
- 20:08Speaker 2: Alex and Rachel obviously newbies, but they had great dates.
- 20:13Speaker 2: This brings us to I think the Perfect Match we
- 20:15Speaker 2: would call like the cocktail party where everybody starts to
- 20:18Speaker 2: have to come together in some way to see who's
- 20:21Speaker 2: going to match and who's not.
- 20:23Speaker 4: Yeah, and I was thinking about the Madison Freddie relationship
- 20:28Speaker 4: and like Freddy goes on the date with Rachel and
- 20:31Speaker 4: Madison's just bawling. She's like so sad. Yeah, And I
- 20:35Speaker 4: think I can't remember who said it. It was Louis
- 20:37Speaker 4: or one of the British guys was like, oh, you
- 20:40Speaker 4: think that he just went away to wool and I'm
- 20:44Speaker 4: like yeah, yeah, I'm like screaming my TV. I'm like,
- 20:46Speaker 4: you've known each other for like seventy two hours, why
- 20:48Speaker 4: are you reacting this way? And I know they just
- 20:50Speaker 4: want to you know, they want to hang on, they
- 20:53Speaker 4: want to hang onto each other, they want to stick around.
- 20:56Speaker 4: It's Ollie says that she's that Madison's manipulating him with
- 21:00Speaker 4: her tears. This made me I'm not a Madison fan
- 21:04Speaker 4: at this point. I don't like Madison. I want her
- 21:07Speaker 4: to be castaway immediately. And but you know, then we
- 21:13Speaker 4: start this game of musical chairs at this cocktail party.
- 21:16Speaker 4: We're going to figure out who who has to go
- 21:18Speaker 4: home and and who gets to stay. There's a lot
- 21:21Speaker 4: of interest in Alex at this party. A lot of
- 21:24Speaker 4: people have a wandering eye.
- 21:26Speaker 2: Yes, Madison, you know, she was kind of a character,
- 21:31Speaker 2: not top of mind until this moment. She was so
- 21:36Speaker 2: emotional that it did rub me the wrong way. What
- 21:40Speaker 2: you came on this show. You just met this guy
- 21:42Speaker 2: the day before, you're so sad. It feels it does
- 21:48Speaker 2: feel in a lot of ways where Freddie is a
- 21:50Speaker 2: sensitive fella, that this will play into his decision making
- 21:54Speaker 2: because he doesn't want us to make Madison cry. I just
- 21:57Speaker 2: don't see it, Easton, I don't see it frustrates me
- 22:01Speaker 2: like it frustrated you. I don't like that she's doing this.
- 22:05Speaker 2: Everybody else there is handling it with respect and humor,
- 22:10Speaker 2: where it's like, gosh, dang it, yeah, our guy went
- 22:12Speaker 2: on a day with hot girl, or our girl went
- 22:14Speaker 2: on a day with the hot guy. She absolutely breaks down,
- 22:18Speaker 2: which to me would be in a lot of ways
- 22:21Speaker 2: a red flag on a show like this, where it's like,
- 22:24Speaker 2: how emotional can you really get after forty eight hours
- 22:28Speaker 2: of knowing somebody that they just went on a date
- 22:31Speaker 2: that they didn't even choose to go on. They got
- 22:33Speaker 2: told they were going on it. It's not like he
- 22:35Speaker 2: was like asking for it.
- 22:37Speaker 4: That's true. It's so bizarre, But you know, I guess
- 22:42Speaker 4: that this is the nature of perfect.
- 22:43Speaker 2: Match and anyway to see some relationships. Alex is getting
- 22:46Speaker 2: a lot of attention from the guys. It is a
- 22:49Speaker 2: very superstar moment for her. She comes into the house
- 22:53Speaker 2: and every head turns. I think that almost goes against
- 22:59Speaker 2: her because so many people are interested in her that
- 23:05Speaker 2: I think a lot of the guys are nervous to
- 23:07Speaker 2: even talk to her because they know that if they do,
- 23:12Speaker 2: they might get convinced to go a different direction. I
- 23:16Speaker 2: also don't know how much interest she showed anybody other
- 23:21Speaker 2: than Louie. I mean, I think there was obviously some
- 23:25Speaker 2: some single men in the house or some men that
- 23:27Speaker 2: were a lot more accessible to switching to somebody new
- 23:34Speaker 2: than Louie. But I kind of feel like she didn't
- 23:38Speaker 2: play it as hard as she could have. I think
- 23:40Speaker 2: she had Clayton. She could have gotten Clayton in a second.
- 23:44Speaker 2: I could honestly have seen her. I don't know where
- 23:47Speaker 2: Freddy's mind was at. It felt like Freddie was very
- 23:50Speaker 2: much a free agent, but shockingly he maybe isn't.
- 23:55Speaker 3: It just didn't it didn't make sense.
- 23:58Speaker 4: Yeah, I agree. At one point, Ollie talks to her
- 24:02Speaker 4: and again, like you know we said earlier, like I
- 24:04Speaker 4: think he just wants to have her around because she's
- 24:06Speaker 4: nice to look at, and it's like, oh, it would
- 24:08Speaker 4: be fun to just kind of have her nearby. But
- 24:10Speaker 4: I don't think we're gonna be the match. But I agree,
- 24:14Speaker 4: she's only really shown interest in Louie and I, you know,
- 24:17Speaker 4: I wonder if she she's from Temptation Island, so I
- 24:20Speaker 4: wonder if she is aware of Louis's reputation. I do
- 24:24Speaker 4: really I enjoyed they go on like a they go
- 24:28Speaker 4: off on their own, Louis and Alex and they do
- 24:31Speaker 4: like a speed dating thing because Louis like really trying hard,
- 24:34Speaker 4: like do I need.
- 24:35Speaker 3: To This is so funny. I forgot this scene.
- 24:40Speaker 4: It's so good. Uh, he's trying to decide if he's
- 24:43Speaker 4: gonna leave Sandy and go with with Alex, And something
- 24:46Speaker 4: I just thought was funny is he's like, uh, we
- 24:49Speaker 4: need to do a speed dating thing here, like let's
- 24:51Speaker 4: get to know each other. And then like then he
- 24:53Speaker 4: has just nothing to say, he has no question. She's like,
- 24:56Speaker 4: you ask me a question, are you are you interested
- 24:58Speaker 4: in anything? He's like, uh, what's her favorite color?
- 25:02Speaker 3: So good?
- 25:02Speaker 2: It's such a I mean, that's what I'm saying. I
- 25:05Speaker 2: think she throws Louis off.
- 25:07Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 25:08Speaker 2: I don't think he has the confidence that he communicates
- 25:14Speaker 2: and has shown most of the season. I think she
- 25:17Speaker 2: intimidates him and he's nervous about that. For whatever reason,
- 25:21Speaker 2: she makes him so nervous and you see it there. Well,
- 25:28Speaker 2: this kind of goes back and forth. It comes all
- 25:30Speaker 2: back to the Clayton and Rachel conversation. Ultimately, no big
- 25:34Speaker 2: shockers here. Ali Ndy match. First, then you have the
- 25:40Speaker 2: Freddie and Madison match. I think that is a shocker,
- 25:43Speaker 2: but we've kind of talked to that here, and at
- 25:46Speaker 2: that point, Rachel's seeing that maybe this date that she
- 25:49Speaker 2: went on is not going to be something that keeps
- 25:51Speaker 2: her around. Daniel and Lucy match not surprising. So we
- 25:57Speaker 2: have Rachel and Clayton, we have Louie still sitting out
- 26:01Speaker 2: there deciding between at this point Sandy and Alex, Clayton
- 26:09Speaker 2: wants Rachel to match. Yeah, Easton, as we live in
- 26:14Speaker 2: this vacuum and in this moment, I hear this and
- 26:19Speaker 2: see this, and I am saying, I remember when Rachel
- 26:22Speaker 2: co hosted a show with us, and I feel like
- 26:25Speaker 2: I asked her. I said, there's no way you got
- 26:27Speaker 2: back with Clayton, right, and she didn't answer me. I'm
- 26:33Speaker 2: at this point going, what are you doing?
- 26:35Speaker 3: Rachel?
- 26:37Speaker 2: I get it because I want Rachel around. And so
- 26:41Speaker 2: there is this side of me Easton when it comes
- 26:43Speaker 2: to gameplay that's saying, Rachel, just say yes, but don't
- 26:47Speaker 2: get too invested into this and wait until the next
- 26:50Speaker 2: week when somebody knew is here. I want you on
- 26:53Speaker 2: this show, so just do what you gotta do to
- 26:56Speaker 2: get on the show.
- 26:58Speaker 3: But there's a twinkle in her eye that.
- 27:00Speaker 2: I see that makes me feel like goodness gracious, Rachel,
- 27:07Speaker 2: you're still into this guy, like this is real for you.
- 27:11Speaker 4: I got the exact same vibe and we see, you know,
- 27:15Speaker 4: things go different way later on and we see her reaction,
- 27:18Speaker 4: and I felt so bad for her because, like, going
- 27:22Speaker 4: into this, I was remembering how Clayton treated her on
- 27:26Speaker 4: The Bachelor, and I was like, oh, there's no there's
- 27:28Speaker 4: no way, there's no way. But like when you're especially
- 27:32Speaker 4: in this, you're in tu loom, you're in this like
- 27:35Speaker 4: you're back in a very similar scene. How easily can
- 27:38Speaker 4: you slide back into those emotions or remember those initial
- 27:41Speaker 4: connections you had? That's those are hard to ignore in
- 27:43Speaker 4: those in those situations, Clayton says something to her that
- 27:48Speaker 4: I found that really stuck out to me. I enjoyed.
- 27:52Speaker 4: He said, I believe everything happens for a reason. It's
- 27:55Speaker 4: the screensaver on my phone. That's so good. With respect
- 28:04Speaker 4: to Clayton.
- 28:05Speaker 3: So deep, goodness, gracious, have never heard it before.
- 28:08Speaker 4: It's so deep, you know. So then after that moment,
- 28:13Speaker 4: anytime I was watching this with my lovely wife Allison,
- 28:16Speaker 4: but after anytime someone would like kind of say like
- 28:18Speaker 4: a cliched platitude or something, we would just go. It's
- 28:21Speaker 4: a screensaver on my phone.
- 28:22Speaker 3: Yeah, you know, I'm always horny.
- 28:27Speaker 4: Is the screensaver on my phone? And I wonder if
- 28:30Speaker 4: Clayton actually does have a have his log screen just
- 28:33Speaker 4: say everything happens for a reason.
- 28:35Speaker 3: I hope he does, and I hope it helps him.
- 28:39Speaker 4: Bless his heart, it helped him make this decision. Wants
- 28:42Speaker 4: to get back with Rachel.
- 28:45Speaker 2: Pause here for a second. Allison does watch this with you.
- 28:49Speaker 2: She's not big into reality television either. Is she enjoying
- 28:51Speaker 2: the perfect match?
- 28:52Speaker 1: She is?
- 28:55Speaker 4: She is tolerating the perfect match. I would She's not
- 29:00Speaker 4: at home right now desperately wanting to watch episode five.
- 29:04Speaker 4: But she had fun and she like I was just
- 29:09Speaker 4: I put it on, and I'm like, oh, she's gonna
- 29:10Speaker 4: be on her phone immediately, But she was like locked
- 29:12Speaker 4: in and she kept like pausing it to be like, Okay,
- 29:14Speaker 4: here's what I think Allie has to do here. So
- 29:16Speaker 4: she got more locked in than I was expecting. So
- 29:19Speaker 4: I think she's more into it than she's letting on too.
- 29:22Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean it is it's Jessica for me. They're
- 29:25Speaker 2: both big readers. I thought she was just gonna be
- 29:27Speaker 2: kindling the whole time during this show, but no, she
- 29:29Speaker 2: watched it also, which shocked me and surprises me at
- 29:33Speaker 2: every level. I don't know what it is about this show,
- 29:36Speaker 2: but we're hooked. Rachel and Clayton end up saying yes,
- 29:49Speaker 2: let's match. We see them go back to the room together.
- 29:53Speaker 2: It feels comfortable and also uncomfortable in a lot of ways,
- 29:59Speaker 2: where they're kind of reintroducing each other to one another,
- 30:04Speaker 2: even though they have had a history. They will now
- 30:07Speaker 2: be spending the night together in this hotel room for
- 30:12Speaker 2: the first time in years since Clayton was the bachelor
- 30:14Speaker 2: in the Fantasy suitees week, which we all know, you know,
- 30:17Speaker 2: blew up in his world and also hers. She was crushed.
- 30:24Speaker 2: But they say yes to each other. It is a
- 30:26Speaker 2: source of comfort for them to regnite in tou Loom.
- 30:30Speaker 2: Then we get into the Louis situation. Going into this evening,
- 30:35Speaker 2: I thought there was no question he was going to
- 30:37Speaker 2: be going with Alex, but we see something in Louis
- 30:40Speaker 2: that I don't know. I think it's a big moment
- 30:42Speaker 2: for Louie. I don't know if anybody has ever seen
- 30:45Speaker 2: this from Louis before, where the shiny new thing even
- 30:48Speaker 2: though it's shiny, very shiny. He says, no, I'm going
- 30:53Speaker 2: to go back to what I have. I think it's
- 30:56Speaker 2: a great moment for him when we should celebrate what
- 31:00Speaker 2: he's pushing to get with Louis. Juliette at this point
- 31:03Speaker 2: is saying, Hey, Louis, we're friends. Let's just make this
- 31:06Speaker 2: thing work, and he kind of laughs and says there's
- 31:08Speaker 2: no way. Sandy comes into the conversation not wanting to
- 31:13Speaker 2: work hard at convincing him. She just pretty much says,
- 31:15Speaker 2: do you do what you want to do. I'm not
- 31:17Speaker 2: going to try to convince you here. And I love that.
- 31:20Speaker 2: There's like a confidence in Sandy. And Alex is sitting
- 31:24Speaker 2: off to the side, fully expecting Louis to come back
- 31:29Speaker 2: to Alex, but he doesn't.
- 31:31Speaker 3: He picks Sandy.
- 31:32Speaker 4: It's beautiful. It's a big moment of growth for Louis.
- 31:36Speaker 4: For me personally, I don't know if he was actually
- 31:38Speaker 4: going through growth, but at least my experience, YEA a
- 31:42Speaker 4: living like, Wow, this guy's really like learning about like
- 31:44Speaker 4: connecting emotions to these to these feelings he's having and
- 31:48Speaker 4: looking at a future with this person, not just what
- 31:51Speaker 4: is exciting to me right now. However, we can't ignore
- 31:57Speaker 4: that during his speed dating with Alex, she she said
- 32:01Speaker 4: something about well, like I think she said something like
- 32:07Speaker 4: you seem like the type of guy that needs more
- 32:09Speaker 4: than one person or something, but like I'm down to share.
- 32:12Speaker 4: And he's like, oh really, and he's like saying, hmm,
- 32:17Speaker 4: what can I And so then he and then, with
- 32:19Speaker 4: the confidence of a twenty three year old man on
- 32:21Speaker 4: a reality show, he walks over to Sandy and he's like,
- 32:25Speaker 4: maybe a thriple situation and she's like, no, not at all.
- 32:30Speaker 4: And he's like, Okay, what a shot.
- 32:33Speaker 3: But I forgot that.
- 32:34Speaker 4: At that moment, He's like, I think he realizes what
- 32:38Speaker 4: he stands to lose, and he and he stays with Sandy.
- 32:41Speaker 4: It's really it is really beautiful. I do feel bad
- 32:44Speaker 4: for Alex because she she is only there for a day, right, Like,
- 32:48Speaker 4: she goes home immediately.
- 32:50Speaker 2: And it feels like she, in her mind did all
- 32:53Speaker 2: the right things. She petted his leg, talked about throples,
- 32:57Speaker 2: and I think she thought, Hey, what else could I
- 32:59Speaker 2: have on here? Yeah, we didn't get to know Alex well,
- 33:04Speaker 2: there is really one storyline that we got to know
- 33:06Speaker 2: about Alex. It is beautiful, though, and I don't know
- 33:10Speaker 2: if Louis would say that this was a moment of
- 33:12Speaker 2: growth for him or not, but it felt like it.
- 33:15Speaker 2: It felt like he was processing a lot slowly, but
- 33:19Speaker 2: processing it and deciding that, no, this Sandy is somebody
- 33:24Speaker 2: I am intrigued by, interested in.
- 33:26Speaker 3: And it's good for me. Let's stick together.
- 33:28Speaker 2: Their relationship skyrocketed to a depth that did not exist before,
- 33:33Speaker 2: so maybe this will end up being good for them.
- 33:35Speaker 2: But one thing that is never good for a couple
- 33:37Speaker 2: Easton is to see your committed partner in a monogamous
- 33:42Speaker 2: relationship make out with somebody else in front of you
- 33:47Speaker 2: in a lot of ways, or at least right beside you.
- 33:50Speaker 2: And that's what happens next in the Perfect Match, because
- 33:52Speaker 2: goodness gracious, that's what the Perfect Match is. The next day,
- 33:55Speaker 2: as everybody wakes up from the craziness of the night before,
- 33:59Speaker 2: we have said goodbye to Juliette at this point, who
- 34:02Speaker 2: says that Clayton and Rachel are going to be boring.
- 34:06Speaker 2: Nick Lache introduces us to something that I'm guessing is
- 34:11Speaker 2: tradition on this show, the kissing challenge, where all of
- 34:15Speaker 2: your senses are muted and you are now to kiss
- 34:20Speaker 2: every person in the house and rate it. A few
- 34:25Speaker 2: issues I have with this. One is obvious it's gonna
- 34:28Speaker 2: only affect the stronger couples.
- 34:31Speaker 4: Yes.
- 34:32Speaker 2: The second is, how do you not know who you're kissing?
- 34:35Speaker 2: Even like all these people are either big or they're small,
- 34:39Speaker 2: they have beards or they don't. You gotta be knowing
- 34:43Speaker 2: who you're kissing at any given moment. There's no surprises here.
- 34:48Speaker 4: Yeah. I mean, if you're like really just out of
- 34:51Speaker 4: it and not paying attention, how could you at least
- 34:54Speaker 4: not know that you were kissing Alie? Like he had
- 34:57Speaker 4: to be the one who like he's the only guy
- 34:59Speaker 4: with the giant beard.
- 35:01Speaker 2: Uh.
- 35:01Speaker 4: It's you know, and at the very least, like the
- 35:04Speaker 4: person you're matched with. You probably hopefully you've unless you're Clayton,
- 35:07Speaker 4: you've been kissing a lot at this point.
- 35:09Speaker 3: Uh.
- 35:09Speaker 4: And you probably know how they how they work their mannerisms.
- 35:14Speaker 4: This Uh, this kissing competition, the Waivers people must sign
- 35:20Speaker 4: to be on this show. It's crazy to me. Allison
- 35:23Speaker 4: called this consent to the game, and I was like,
- 35:27Speaker 4: oh my god. Uh, But then I was also, we're
- 35:31Speaker 4: watching them do this. They're wearing they're wearing blindfolds and
- 35:33Speaker 4: the ring these like these noise canceling headphones or something,
- 35:37Speaker 4: and they're just making out all at the same time,
- 35:39Speaker 4: all in a row, and we're hearing like music, you know,
- 35:42Speaker 4: royalty free music in the background. And but I'm wondering
- 35:46Speaker 4: at that, like Nicolache is standing there, is it just
- 35:48Speaker 4: like you just hear the sounds of the beach and
- 35:50Speaker 4: this just kissing noises. It must be such a gross
- 35:54Speaker 4: like thing to listen to as a crew guy there.
- 35:57Speaker 4: I couldn't stove thinking about that.
- 35:58Speaker 3: Yeah, it is one of the things with audio.
- 36:02Speaker 2: I remember talking about this when I was The Bachelor,
- 36:04Speaker 2: because you're miked up all the time, you know, you
- 36:07Speaker 2: go to the bathroom, you forget that you're miked up
- 36:10Speaker 2: after a while, you're kissing the noises like these poor
- 36:13Speaker 2: audio people have just heard the worst of the worst,
- 36:17Speaker 2: Like they mike up all the people at you know,
- 36:19Speaker 2: seven o'clock in the morning. At nine thirty, they're just like,
- 36:22Speaker 2: goodness gracious to turn them off. Nickolas Chay's job here
- 36:27Speaker 2: is so weird.
- 36:30Speaker 3: He's he's gotta be.
- 36:31Speaker 2: He's really though, fell into his his groove with Netflix
- 36:36Speaker 2: and all of these odd shows that he hosts, and
- 36:38Speaker 2: he hosts it in such a way that does bring humor,
- 36:41Speaker 2: but also just he feels disconnected. Honestly, he's just one
- 36:45Speaker 2: more body there, full of all these bodies kissing each other.
- 36:49Speaker 2: I think this game gets better Easton if they're gonna
- 36:53Speaker 2: play this game, like why blindfold and why put noise
- 36:57Speaker 2: canceling headphones on? You know who you're kissing, Let's really
- 37:00Speaker 2: make it awkward and make them look at each other, like,
- 37:02Speaker 2: let's make them recognize what's about to happen. I feel
- 37:07Speaker 2: like these blindfolds and noise canceling headphones are really just
- 37:12Speaker 2: an excuse to make this feel like it's acceptable.
- 37:15Speaker 3: Yes, I agree, I don't know if it works.
- 37:21Speaker 2: You're rating people of you know, I questioned the couples
- 37:24Speaker 2: that didn't rate their partner super high. But again we
- 37:28Speaker 2: go back to our love for Ady and Ali and
- 37:31Speaker 2: they give each other amazing scores. Eighty gave Ali a ten.
- 37:36Speaker 2: How sweet and cute is that?
- 37:39Speaker 4: I love it. There's a point in this challenge where
- 37:44Speaker 4: Freddy reveals that he eats thirteen boiled eggs every morning
- 37:51Speaker 4: and a tomato a baker's dozen eggs every morning, and
- 37:58Speaker 4: I can't remember why he said that it was like like,
- 38:02Speaker 4: look how good I am with my lips or yeah,
- 38:05Speaker 4: I don't. I wrote that down. I was like he
- 38:07Speaker 4: eat thirteen boiled eggs every morning. I don't remember what
- 38:09Speaker 4: the context was, but we get to learn that about Freddy. Oh,
- 38:13Speaker 4: they thought it was a food challenge at first, before
- 38:15Speaker 4: they start the challenge. That's why he brings that up.
- 38:20Speaker 4: And and also just you know, before we move too
- 38:24Speaker 4: far on from the the blindfold. I was just thinking,
- 38:26Speaker 4: like if I was doing this challenge, I keep putting
- 38:28Speaker 4: myself in these situations.
- 38:29Speaker 3: I think we all did have to.
- 38:31Speaker 4: I was like, they'd be we'd all be lined up
- 38:33Speaker 4: in a row, ready to like do the kissing, and
- 38:35Speaker 4: I'd be on my hands and knees trying to find
- 38:37Speaker 4: like where I'm supposed to stand stepping off the platform
- 38:41Speaker 4: or something. Ye like, it would just be sad.
- 38:44Speaker 2: I'd be Freddy pecking. He has an amazing scene of
- 38:48Speaker 2: just pecking people he can't find their lips.
- 38:50Speaker 4: He kisses like a bird. Yeah, there's there's I don't
- 38:57Speaker 4: get how people don't know they're kissing Alie that that's something.
- 39:00Speaker 4: And I like Lucy gave all the A ten and
- 39:04Speaker 4: I see that, and Daniel gets all mad that, like
- 39:06Speaker 4: he's like, how do you not know it was him?
- 39:08Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 39:08Speaker 4: And I have to agree, And that's why I like,
- 39:10Speaker 4: I don't want to think that like there's any producer
- 39:12Speaker 4: manipulation here, But I'm like, how could part of this
- 39:14Speaker 4: not be cooked a little bit? You know, like it's
- 39:17Speaker 4: just such a weird competition.
- 39:19Speaker 3: Yeah, you know who you're kissing? Yea if. But at
- 39:22Speaker 3: the same time, kind of.
- 39:23Speaker 2: Like Clayton was saying last time he was on the
- 39:26Speaker 2: show last you know, last episode, it there is gameplay,
- 39:30Speaker 2: but there's also not. I think a lot of these
- 39:32Speaker 2: people are just kind of winging it and having fun
- 39:34Speaker 2: and they're not really thinking, oh, I should give my
- 39:36Speaker 2: partner the highest score because I'll win it and.
- 39:39Speaker 3: Then we get to go to the boardroom.
- 39:40Speaker 2: I think a lot of them are still just like
- 39:42Speaker 2: having fun and being funny and doing crazy stuff.
- 39:45Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 39:45Speaker 2: I mean we see it with Louie. Obviously you would
- 39:48Speaker 2: know if you're kissing Louie or Clayton. But Sandy gives
- 39:50Speaker 2: Clayton a ten not and Louie gets mad and you
- 39:54Speaker 2: know that that wasn't Louie. So you're giving somebody a
- 39:57Speaker 2: ten who you know is not your part, and that's
- 40:01Speaker 2: foreshadowing for the future, but it happens the the episode
- 40:07Speaker 2: kind of ends. After this competition. The winners are Sandy
- 40:12Speaker 2: and Clayton. They will be going to the boardroom. They
- 40:16Speaker 2: do have now the power and control, and Clayton and
- 40:19Speaker 2: Sandy have a campfire date starting episode four. Now he
- 40:26Speaker 2: just coupled up with Rachel. We want to see where
- 40:30Speaker 2: the Rachel Clayton thing is going to go. But because
- 40:33Speaker 2: of the competition and the rules of the game, he
- 40:35Speaker 2: is on this date with Sandy.
- 40:37Speaker 4: Thoughts, I thought that was fun to put two people
- 40:43Speaker 4: that weren't matched up on a day, like the winners
- 40:45Speaker 4: of the competition, like make them go on a date.
- 40:47Speaker 4: That was kind of fun and some man wasn't expecting.
- 40:51Speaker 4: But it's just and I don't know what the timeline
- 40:53Speaker 4: actually is here. They make it seem like it's like overnight,
- 40:56Speaker 4: you know, and I like to think that it is.
- 40:57Speaker 4: But it's just crazy to me that he was so
- 41:01Speaker 4: hot on Rachel that night and then immediately not it
- 41:05Speaker 4: feels or like already climbing out of the pool. He's like, uh,
- 41:10Speaker 4: I'm open, you know, I'm open to exploring this with
- 41:13Speaker 4: someone else, and it's just like, oh my, it keeps
- 41:17Speaker 4: talking about my intuition. I wrote, like I was trying
- 41:19Speaker 4: to down I'm like I again, I'm sorry, Clayton. You
- 41:22Speaker 4: are a friend of the Almost Famous podcast. We like you,
- 41:25Speaker 4: we enjoy you, but my god, you suck here my intuition.
- 41:28Speaker 4: Oh come on, give me a break man. Also, I
- 41:33Speaker 4: meant to bring this up last time I was on.
- 41:35Speaker 4: The rooms are so messy. Their rooms are like disgusting.
- 41:39Speaker 4: I'm sorry. I know they're small, I know they're like busy.
- 41:42Speaker 4: It's just crazy, like it's just like suitcases with underwear
- 41:45Speaker 4: spilling out. There's all the hair, progress just towels everywhere.
- 41:48Speaker 4: It feels like it feels like a you're on spring
- 41:50Speaker 4: break or something with like college freshmen.
- 41:52Speaker 2: These are adults. I think that's a good note. He
- 41:55Speaker 2: is a fair note is these are adults. And if
- 41:58Speaker 2: no matter where, I would expect Dalton adults to clean
- 42:02Speaker 2: their room like I just do.
- 42:03Speaker 4: Yeah, especially when you know there's cameras in there. I mean,
- 42:05Speaker 4: come on, man. Uh so yeah, Clayton. Clayton is ready
- 42:11Speaker 4: to uh to to get out of this match with
- 42:15Speaker 4: Rachel already and uh I mean, at this point, is
- 42:19Speaker 4: he like, is he trying to hook up with Sandy?
- 42:23Speaker 4: Is that is that what he or No, He's he's
- 42:25Speaker 4: excited to see who's a potential for him in the boardroom.
- 42:28Speaker 4: That's that's what He's already looking to the next thing.
- 42:32Speaker 4: And is that like, do you think that's Clayton wanting
- 42:34Speaker 4: to stick around or is that Clayton like changing his
- 42:38Speaker 4: mind like he did as the Bachelor. What's happening here?
- 42:41Speaker 2: It's I think it is the moment, honestly, Easton. So
- 42:44Speaker 2: the uproar for from the fan base is loud against Clayton.
- 42:49Speaker 2: Uh this, I think we could confidently say that Clayton's
- 42:54Speaker 2: time on The Perfect Match did not help his image
- 42:57Speaker 2: and did not bring him fan support like he maybe
- 43:00Speaker 2: wanted it too or desired it too. And I would
- 43:05Speaker 2: think that out of everything else, I think the fan
- 43:07Speaker 2: base would have been okay with them going their separate ways,
- 43:10Speaker 2: especially if the two of them sat down and talked
- 43:13Speaker 2: and like, hey, this isn't working, but I'm glad we
- 43:15Speaker 2: were here another week and you met somebody and I've
- 43:17Speaker 2: met somebody, so let's continue on in different paths.
- 43:20Speaker 3: And it's been great.
- 43:21Speaker 2: I think this is the moment, the really the catalyst
- 43:26Speaker 2: of this episode happened so early in the episode where
- 43:30Speaker 2: he shows us that he is almost and playing Rachel
- 43:37Speaker 2: again again, And I think this hurts. I think it's weird.
- 43:45Speaker 2: I don't know how he thought this was a good
- 43:47Speaker 2: idea or why he decided to do it, especially if
- 43:49Speaker 2: he went on the perfect match to show that he
- 43:51Speaker 2: has grown as a person and that he believes everything
- 43:55Speaker 2: happens for a reason, all these things.
- 43:58Speaker 3: It is the moment.
- 43:59Speaker 2: That we see that I said, what is he doing?
- 44:04Speaker 2: He knows it's just gonna hurt Rachel, especially with the
- 44:10Speaker 2: the excitement that she showed to maybe rekindling with something
- 44:13Speaker 2: with him.
- 44:14Speaker 4: Yes, yeah, I'm just like And I know he's talked
- 44:18Speaker 4: a bit about like, oh that the editing didn't show
- 44:21Speaker 4: me in a great light or so, and I'm like,
- 44:23Speaker 4: how is like this is beyond Like I don't understand
- 44:27Speaker 4: how you can edit this to make it look different
- 44:29Speaker 4: than what it was here. Uh, it's I'm just like,
- 44:34Speaker 4: what is going on with this guy?
- 44:35Speaker 5: What?
- 44:36Speaker 4: Like it's just it's cruel to Rachel's It breaks my heart,
- 44:42Speaker 4: you know, I personally just I I was such a
- 44:44Speaker 4: big fan of Rachel. It kills me to see her
- 44:46Speaker 4: in pain like this. I'm like, oh my god, he's
- 44:49Speaker 4: doing this again. This is just so insane. Clayton, Damn.
- 44:55Speaker 3: It's rough. It's a rough, It's so rough. It's tough
- 44:58Speaker 3: for him.
- 44:59Speaker 2: There's no really excuses at this point to why he's
- 45:04Speaker 2: making the decisions he's making. When you have somebody that
- 45:07Speaker 2: you care about, that you have a history with, I think,
- 45:11Speaker 2: if anything, you can go on this date, but you
- 45:13Speaker 2: owe her a conversation before you make any drastic statements
- 45:18Speaker 2: or any changes to your relationship. But he didn't. Back
- 45:32Speaker 2: of the house during this date, Easton, we see some
- 45:35Speaker 2: couples get very upset about the kissing challenge. Shockingly, the
- 45:40Speaker 2: kissing challenge cause controversy in the house with some couples,
- 45:45Speaker 2: especially Daniel and Lucy. We get a little bit of
- 45:50Speaker 2: a glimpse into some people's mindsets during the kissing challenge,
- 45:54Speaker 2: but it hurt people. Shows me two things Easton, love
- 45:58Speaker 2: to hear what you think. One is, you know, a
- 46:01Speaker 2: few days into this experience, people do care about somebody.
- 46:04Speaker 2: There's some couples that I think are really invested into
- 46:07Speaker 2: each other. Some couples that have really grown and are saying, hey,
- 46:10Speaker 2: I don't want to see you with anybody else. As
- 46:13Speaker 2: a result, I would have loved for you and the
- 46:15Speaker 2: kissing challenge to rate me higher than the other person
- 46:17Speaker 2: that you knew.
- 46:18Speaker 3: Was not me.
- 46:19Speaker 2: That would have just been a nice thing to give
- 46:21Speaker 2: me some confidence moving forward. Even if you did think
- 46:23Speaker 2: that kiss was fantastic, I don't want to have to
- 46:25Speaker 2: think about it. It also shows me that the kissing
- 46:31Speaker 2: challenge should just not be a thing if they actually
- 46:33Speaker 2: want couples to form on the beach.
- 46:36Speaker 4: Wow. Yeah, I mean, I agree with you. It's so
- 46:42Speaker 4: hard for me to think about, like, because every relationship
- 46:46Speaker 4: I have been in, no matter how short lived, that
- 46:50Speaker 4: did take months and months of like emotional investment on
- 46:53Speaker 4: both parts, usually on the other person. But so it's
- 46:57Speaker 4: hard for me to understand that these people are so
- 47:00Speaker 4: connected after just a few days. And I know this
- 47:03Speaker 4: is like I know everyone we've talked to, it has
- 47:05Speaker 4: been on the show, on the Bachelor, Like it's just
- 47:08Speaker 4: the nature of how you have no other distractions, all
- 47:12Speaker 4: you're doing is thinking about your connection with these people.
- 47:14Speaker 4: So I get it, but it's just like it is
- 47:17Speaker 4: kind of I don't know it's just it's so interesting
- 47:20Speaker 4: to me that like, it's just it feels like such
- 47:22Speaker 4: a deeply emotional connection and decision to have to make
- 47:26Speaker 4: the kissing challenge is really just a minefield. I mean, damn,
- 47:33Speaker 4: Like when Daniel Lucy have this conversation. I mean, Daniel's
- 47:36Speaker 4: in the shower and Lucy is like, she's like, oh no,
- 47:39Speaker 4: I'm like, oh, Shu'll wait for him to get out
- 47:41Speaker 4: of the shower. Maybe we'll get to see some towel action. No, no, no,
- 47:43Speaker 4: she wants to talk about this right now. She is
- 47:46Speaker 4: not going to wait. He hit the water's running over him,
- 47:48Speaker 4: he's putting the he's putting the garnei frue tiss on,
- 47:50Speaker 4: and she's having this conversation with him. It's and I
- 47:54Speaker 4: feel bad for her, but also like, you know what,
- 47:58Speaker 4: there's a way to do this kiss game to save
- 48:01Speaker 4: the feelings of your partner. But also, I mean it's hard,
- 48:05Speaker 4: you like, can you identify everybody? I don't know, It's
- 48:09Speaker 4: it's tough. It's just it sets everybody up to fail.
- 48:12Speaker 4: I agree, I don't like the kissing challenge. You should
- 48:14Speaker 4: get it, Nicholas Schey, get that challenge out of here.
- 48:16Speaker 2: Yeah, it's hurting. It's hurting people. I don't like it.
- 48:20Speaker 2: It's making me feel something for them. Sandy and Clayton
- 48:22Speaker 2: returned from their date back to the house. Sandy and
- 48:26Speaker 2: Louie obviously are gonna have to talk. Did this date
- 48:29Speaker 2: go great?
- 48:29Speaker 3: Did it not?
- 48:31Speaker 2: I don't think anybody is too shocked that Sandy and
- 48:34Speaker 2: Clayton did not have this magical connection. I think Louie is, though,
- 48:40Speaker 2: frustrated because he is on this date with Sandy because
- 48:45Speaker 2: of the rating system of this kissing challenge. Goodness gracious,
- 48:48Speaker 2: I didn't even realize it until now. It feels like
- 48:50Speaker 2: this kissing challenge is lasting us a lot longer than
- 48:54Speaker 2: I wanted to. Yeah, Rachel and Clayton at this point reconnect.
- 49:02Speaker 2: Louis and Sandy are gonna be fine. They're gonna work through. Yes,
- 49:05Speaker 2: they're gonna make this thing work. But it's the Rachel
- 49:07Speaker 2: and Clayton relationship that I think now everybody's on the
- 49:12Speaker 2: edge of their seats to hear what is going to happen,
- 49:15Speaker 2: because his intuition knows that it's not going to work
- 49:17Speaker 2: out between them, and he doesn't want to hurt her
- 49:20Speaker 2: even though he's going to uh and it's just, you know,
- 49:25Speaker 2: the nature of how this thing has all been set
- 49:28Speaker 2: up Easton, I gotta get because I mean, I'm biased
- 49:31Speaker 2: and we're both biased. We love Rachel, She's been a
- 49:35Speaker 2: great friend of the podcast. Clayton just came on to
- 49:39Speaker 2: help us co host here. I just have a hard
- 49:42Speaker 2: time justifying any of his behavior here in any way,
- 49:47Speaker 2: shape or form. He It just to me feels like
- 49:52Speaker 2: such a game, place like moved by him to keep
- 49:55Speaker 2: her around, knowing it was gonna ultimately really hurt her.
- 50:00Speaker 4: Yes, I agree. I mean, even if you look at
- 50:03Speaker 4: this so coldly, just like a I am here playing
- 50:06Speaker 4: a game. I am playing a board game that means
- 50:10Speaker 4: I get to stay on vacation into Loom longer and
- 50:12Speaker 4: be on TV. It's still just like it is baffling
- 50:17Speaker 4: to me, and I just don't see how you can
- 50:21Speaker 4: have how you can act that way with such disregard
- 50:25Speaker 4: to the feelings of the other person. It's it's it's
- 50:28Speaker 4: it's insane because, like I, he could have just not
- 50:33Speaker 4: they could have just existed together. You know, she could
- 50:35Speaker 4: have come in be like, oh hey, we're both from
- 50:37Speaker 4: the same franchise, like you know, and fist bump each
- 50:40Speaker 4: other and then this kind of continued on. But he
- 50:44Speaker 4: initiated this whole reunion thing only to kill it twenty
- 50:49Speaker 4: four hours later. It's it's so crazy. I feel so
- 50:52Speaker 4: bad for her. She is clearly so hurt by this.
- 50:56Speaker 4: But you know, hey, Clinton's intuition said this is what
- 50:58Speaker 4: he has to do, so hey, my hands are tied.
- 51:01Speaker 3: You know, he needs to check that a little bit.
- 51:03Speaker 2: His intuition that I don't think it's working out for
- 51:05Speaker 2: him because either by a brilliant joke of the show
- 51:10Speaker 2: or just really bad unfortunate luck from Clayton. He decides
- 51:16Speaker 2: to go to the board room to hopefully set himself
- 51:20Speaker 2: up on a new date because his intuition told him
- 51:24Speaker 2: this was going to be the best decision for both
- 51:26Speaker 2: he and Rachel.
- 51:28Speaker 3: The brilliant joke, I think here, and I do.
- 51:31Speaker 2: I feel like the show has honestly kind of poked
- 51:33Speaker 2: fun at him and the Bachelor throughout. Really, I mean,
- 51:38Speaker 2: I think the Bachelor is I don't know how they
- 51:41Speaker 2: view it necessarily, but there's been these jokes in these
- 51:44Speaker 2: like one liners that have definitely poked fun at the Bachelor.
- 51:47Speaker 2: I also feel like Clayton has kind of gotten poked
- 51:50Speaker 2: fun at a few times here. I mean, I'm thinking
- 51:52Speaker 2: about that challenge where his head was in the water
- 51:55Speaker 2: when they were floating and pulling and getting cards and
- 51:57Speaker 2: he was too big for the raft.
- 51:59Speaker 3: He's a big dude, and he seemed to do it.
- 52:01Speaker 2: Just find it feels like they almost took a board
- 52:02Speaker 2: out of Clayton's raft so that he would sink.
- 52:08Speaker 3: The boardroom has four men as choices for this upcoming week.
- 52:14Speaker 2: Clayton is shocked and not able to put himself on
- 52:17Speaker 2: a date unless he is also going to be interested
- 52:22Speaker 2: in somebody that has not been what he's traditionally interested in.
- 52:25Speaker 3: The couple of things that stand out here, Jr.
- 52:28Speaker 2: Is on this he's from the ultimatum. He did a
- 52:31Speaker 2: trial marriage with Sandy, which I have never used that
- 52:36Speaker 2: phrase before marriage.
- 52:38Speaker 3: I don't know what that is.
- 52:40Speaker 4: Yeah, like is this something? Is this like another game?
- 52:43Speaker 4: Like it's that's so weird? How did that work?
- 52:46Speaker 3: Oh?
- 52:46Speaker 4: God?
- 52:48Speaker 2: I mean, what are we doing? Like really Easton, Like
- 52:51Speaker 2: where are we taking society? That His description on here
- 52:56Speaker 2: is he did a trial marriage with Sandy and they
- 52:58Speaker 2: didn't work out for them. They do know each other well,
- 53:01Speaker 2: so Clayton decides to put his own interests aside, even
- 53:07Speaker 2: though he's probably gonna go on match now officially at
- 53:09Speaker 2: the end of this episode, we don't know that for certain,
- 53:11Speaker 2: we don't know how this plays out, but he matches
- 53:14Speaker 2: Rachel and Scott. I think he gives her another chance
- 53:18Speaker 2: at a perfect match by putting her on a date
- 53:20Speaker 2: with Scott. We see him lead leave the boardroom and
- 53:26Speaker 2: Sandy has set a D and Jay are up her
- 53:32Speaker 2: former husband. Is that what I'm calling him, Sandy.
- 53:37Speaker 3: Husband fleeing? I don't know.
- 53:39Speaker 2: She sets a D and j R Up on a
- 53:43Speaker 2: date pottery class. I mean, good move for Clayton. I
- 53:47Speaker 2: do think out of all this craziness here, we do
- 53:50Speaker 2: have to give him some credit that he recognized that
- 53:53Speaker 2: he was leaving Rachel on her own lonely island, and
- 53:56Speaker 2: that he gave her a shot at a potential partner.
- 54:00Speaker 3: I do think that.
- 54:01Speaker 2: Was a in the midst of all this, it's a
- 54:03Speaker 2: chapter closing of him doing something good.
- 54:05Speaker 4: Yeah, a tiny sliver of redemption. I was really really
- 54:10Speaker 4: hoping when he saw the four guys on the in
- 54:12Speaker 4: the border room. I was really hoping to be like, hey, well,
- 54:15Speaker 4: you know, I came here to try new things and
- 54:17Speaker 4: be my real self. So I'm gonna set myself up
- 54:20Speaker 4: with Jalen. Yeah, I was going for that.
- 54:25Speaker 3: Oh my gosh, Oh that would be amazing.
- 54:28Speaker 4: Which, by the way, when they do the like introductions,
- 54:30Speaker 4: we get to meet these four new guys, a couple
- 54:33Speaker 4: guys from Love Island and Jalen from Too Hot to Handle.
- 54:36Speaker 4: They animate him looking like a demon. He leans his
- 54:40Speaker 4: head back and they give him red eyes and horns.
- 54:43Speaker 4: I was like, what the on earth?
- 54:45Speaker 3: I just don't know enough about these people to even
- 54:47Speaker 3: like understand.
- 54:49Speaker 4: Is that an in joke or something?
- 54:50Speaker 3: I don't know.
- 54:50Speaker 4: I don't know. Now I'm afraid of him, Like I'm
- 54:53Speaker 4: literally afraid of Jalen when he shows up there. Yeah,
- 54:57Speaker 4: but Jaron's a another cute date. I'm really enjoying the
- 55:02Speaker 4: these like crafty dates are setting people up on It's
- 55:05Speaker 4: the pottery date is very cute, and uh JR Is
- 55:10Speaker 4: coming in like a my guilty pleasure stealing girls from
- 55:14Speaker 4: their guys. I was like, oh damn. But then it's
- 55:16Speaker 4: a really sweet moment. They have so much in common.
- 55:18Speaker 4: They've got like they both have an insane amount of
- 55:20Speaker 4: brothers and sisters, like seven. Uh and uh, they're you know,
- 55:24Speaker 4: they both have like what three brothers and two sisters
- 55:27Speaker 4: or something like that they have they're both scorpios. I mean,
- 55:30Speaker 4: you can't deny that.
- 55:33Speaker 3: I you know what a couple of things.
- 55:36Speaker 2: I don't know how they get these people to say
- 55:38Speaker 2: the things they did like that, Carrington says, I'm a
- 55:41Speaker 2: a self aware douchebag.
- 55:44Speaker 3: Through like love bombs girls.
- 55:46Speaker 2: This guy's going my biggest pleasure is stealing girls from
- 55:49Speaker 2: their guys.
- 55:50Speaker 3: Like I just where are they finding these people east In?
- 55:54Speaker 4: What are they people doing?
- 55:55Speaker 2: And also, I'm with you in the midst of all
- 55:58Speaker 2: this wild and eaziness that is the perfect match and
- 56:02Speaker 2: guys talking about stealing girls and all of these things.
- 56:06Speaker 3: The producers are brilliant.
- 56:09Speaker 2: Because there's all this wild things happening and then they
- 56:12Speaker 2: put them up on the most wholesome dates of all time.
- 56:17Speaker 4: It's so funny, like there would be a challenge where
- 56:19Speaker 4: it's like, Okay, here's you're gonna lick each other's buttholes
- 56:23Speaker 4: and see if you can identify your partner. And then
- 56:26Speaker 4: then the next one is we're going on a picnic,
- 56:29Speaker 4: like what.
- 56:30Speaker 3: Ye come pick flowers?
- 56:33Speaker 4: Yeah, you know, we're picking wild flowers. I'm doing flower ranging.
- 56:37Speaker 3: Oh it's so ridiculous.
- 56:39Speaker 6: There's nothing about this that doesn't it's just all crazy,
- 56:43Speaker 6: Like it's a it's a mental roller coaster watching this,
- 56:47Speaker 6: because as soon as you also start to invest into
- 56:49Speaker 6: some person like eighty and Ali, she goes on a
- 56:52Speaker 6: date and as you said, it is cute.
- 56:56Speaker 2: Rachel seems to be really into Scott. He has a
- 56:59Speaker 2: dark sense of humor. They have a nice little date together.
- 57:03Speaker 2: He is trouble, she thinks and feels. But I think
- 57:07Speaker 2: at this point she's into it because I feel like
- 57:10Speaker 2: Rachel's kind of saying screw it. Like I tried to
- 57:12Speaker 2: go the safe route. I tried to do the thing
- 57:15Speaker 2: that made the most sense. It felt like I'm just
- 57:17Speaker 2: gonna enjoy my time here.
- 57:20Speaker 4: Yeah. Yeah, they get along great. I did think it
- 57:24Speaker 4: was funny that Rachel didn't remember his name halfway through
- 57:26Speaker 4: the date, because there's times during the show where I'm like,
- 57:28Speaker 4: oh God, who's that person again? So that's a nice
- 57:32Speaker 4: analog for the audience there. But I just want to
- 57:37Speaker 4: see I want Rachel to have a good time. I
- 57:40Speaker 4: just want her to be happy and have fun and
- 57:41Speaker 4: be treated with respective and kindness. That's all I'm asking for,
- 57:46Speaker 4: and she has Scott seem like they get along great.
- 57:49Speaker 4: Something I wanted to point out that goes on back
- 57:52Speaker 4: at the Villa that I really enjoyed was we get
- 57:56Speaker 4: introduced to the concept of Louis logic, where Louis logic
- 58:02Speaker 4: and he says the editing is so great because he says,
- 58:06Speaker 4: I'm a smart individual and then immediate cut too, I've
- 58:08Speaker 4: gotten back with my ex five different times, like five times.
- 58:14Speaker 4: My god, they can Clayton seem like a saint over here. Yeah,
- 58:20Speaker 4: So how they get these people say these things is awesome.
- 58:24Speaker 4: I'm loving it. I hope we get more Louis logic
- 58:26Speaker 4: as the show goes on. I want to know what
- 58:27Speaker 4: else goes on that man's in that man's mind.
- 58:30Speaker 3: Yes, Eastern great call out on the Louis logic. I'm
- 58:33Speaker 3: loving it. Man.
- 58:34Speaker 2: That's why I'm saying I love this show because I
- 58:37Speaker 2: don't fit in and I feel like I just soak
- 58:41Speaker 2: up all the craziness and try to understand what exactly
- 58:46Speaker 2: is happening.
- 58:47Speaker 3: There's a lot to be left desired. At the end
- 58:49Speaker 3: of this episode, we have a lot of questions on
- 58:51Speaker 3: our mind. One is Sandy's nervous to bring or to
- 58:54Speaker 3: see Jr. Again, But she's the one that brought him
- 58:57Speaker 3: into the house.
- 58:58Speaker 2: Yeah, So the question is did she just not want
- 59:01Speaker 2: to set herself up on a date because that would
- 59:03Speaker 2: be a little too forward and to let him come
- 59:06Speaker 2: into the house they can rekindle something, maybe like Rachel
- 59:08Speaker 2: and Clayton tried to. Rachel does seem to be beaming
- 59:12Speaker 2: with happiness and joy as she enters back into the house.
- 59:16Speaker 3: In Ady and Jr.
- 59:18Speaker 2: Return to break all of our hearts. They're holding hands Easton.
- 59:24Speaker 4: So sad to see that. I know this is how
- 59:28Speaker 4: the game works, This is perfect match. We are not
- 59:30Speaker 4: in a fairy tale. We are in nick Lache's twisted mind.
- 59:35Speaker 2: And I hope nicko Lache is making all of this.
- 59:40Speaker 3: That would be fantastic to me.
- 59:43Speaker 4: He's up in his ivory tower down there in tou loom,
- 59:45Speaker 4: moving his little pieces around the board for his own amusement.
- 59:48Speaker 4: But it made me so sad because I really I
- 59:52Speaker 4: had such high hopes for Ad and Alie and I
- 59:55Speaker 4: could see them going all the way. I really could.
- 59:57Speaker 4: I was like, will they be the one couple? Will
- 1:00:00Speaker 4: they be like Hannah, Hannah g and Dylan. Will they
- 1:00:03Speaker 4: just like link up at the beginning and then make
- 1:00:06Speaker 4: it all the way? Will they get married and have children?
- 1:00:08Speaker 4: Is that what's gonna happen? I don't think so. We're
- 1:00:10Speaker 4: in danger here. I would be very sad.
- 1:00:13Speaker 3: I'll be upset if you.
- 1:00:16Speaker 2: Find me during episode five, well yeah five with tears,
- 1:00:21Speaker 2: feeling like I just got played by love. It's because
- 1:00:27Speaker 2: eighty and Ali didn't work. I'm hoping that they find
- 1:00:31Speaker 2: a way to come back together again Easton. As always,
