- 0:17Speaker 1: Let's take some calls. Let's go to Mike in Florida. Mike,
- 0:20Speaker 1: how you doing.
- 0:22Speaker 3: Morning, Mark from a very frigid Florida.
- 0:25Speaker 1: What's the temperature down there right now?
- 0:27Speaker 3: It's forty seven down I know I saw ice school
- 0:32Speaker 3: clast yesterday for the first time in eight years. It
- 0:35Speaker 3: was very refreshing.
- 0:37Speaker 1: Well, it's like ten degrees here, so actually the little.
- 0:40Speaker 3: Warming those twenty nine overnight, So in any event.
- 0:46Speaker 1: Could a nicer salt? Well, what do you want to say, Mike?
- 0:50Speaker 4: So you know, it's interesting these elitist entertainer types. You know,
- 0:55Speaker 4: we're all spouting about ice, and you know, Molly Wing
- 0:58Speaker 4: Walled and Donny Ton Leguzamo and Trevor.
- 1:02Speaker 3: Noah, you know all either has beens or never wors
- 1:05Speaker 3: or never quite was. And the other thing about Don
- 1:07Speaker 3: Lemon being a journalist, you know what makes a journalist?
- 1:11Speaker 3: You can just say you're a journalist. I mean, for
- 1:12Speaker 3: having sake, if you're a barber, you have to jump
- 1:14Speaker 3: through more hoops to be practicing barber, being a barber
- 1:19Speaker 3: than than a journalist.
- 1:20Speaker 1: Does You could argue that the guy on Seeing And
- 1:23Speaker 1: even if he's just that anchor host, is a journalist.
- 1:26Speaker 1: But Lemon is for a couple of years now, I've
- 1:28Speaker 1: been an amateur podcaster, That's all he is.
- 1:30Speaker 2: So exactly exactly.
- 1:32Speaker 1: Thanks for calling, Mike. Let's go to uh Ron in Pittsburgh. Ron,
- 1:36Speaker 1: how you doing? I know, Mark good?
- 1:40Speaker 5: Hey, I got a little safety tip for all the
- 1:44Speaker 5: listeners of your show. I wouldn't go into a hospital
- 1:47Speaker 5: when the mega had How about all these nurses and
- 1:50Speaker 5: the ay't nuts your want? I mean, look at the
- 1:54Speaker 5: one nurse. One the one nurse who was trying was
- 1:58Speaker 5: just praying that that one the U be the one
- 2:01Speaker 5: lady the news is her baby the Caroline Leavitt, the
- 2:04Speaker 5: one nurse said.
- 2:06Speaker 1: Well, yeah, I mean there's some young crazy nurses. But
- 2:08Speaker 1: you got to remember doctors are all big Republicans. Doctors
- 2:12Speaker 1: are Trump supporters mainly because they've they've seen the government
- 2:15Speaker 1: screw them around a million ways. They see what a
- 2:17Speaker 1: disaster government.
- 2:19Speaker 2: Let's go ask you one more question.
- 2:20Speaker 1: Well let me think about it.
- 2:22Speaker 2: Yeah, okay, go you got the bath thone to Trump, right,
- 2:26Speaker 2: and I know I brought him flat earth year before,
- 2:28Speaker 2: but could you have him take a picture from a
- 2:30Speaker 2: satellite to Australia's like to see an ocean line and
- 2:33Speaker 2: roughside down, Like.
- 2:34Speaker 1: Yeah, I'll get right on that. I'll do it. During
- 2:35Speaker 1: the news, What the hell is this guy talking about?
- 2:38Speaker 1: Let's go to Jim and Yonkers. Jim, how you doing,
- 2:41Speaker 1: Good morning, Mark.
- 2:42Speaker 6: I was just wondering if you had watched an interview
- 2:45Speaker 6: that took place this weekend with the head of the
- 2:49Speaker 6: union of the Minneapolis Police Department where he came out
- 2:52Speaker 6: and stated that unequivocally, I has not been trained for
- 2:58Speaker 6: crowd control. He said that what is the responsibility of
- 3:02Speaker 6: the city that's having that issue with ice coming into it?
- 3:07Speaker 6: And I haven't heard that from anybody else.
- 3:10Speaker 1: Well, yeah, no, that's true, and it's pretty obvious. ICE
- 3:13Speaker 1: officers are not crowd controlled people. That's why there's no
- 3:17Speaker 1: problem with ice in any other state or city. It's
- 3:19Speaker 1: going fine, smoothly, peacefully everywhere else because the local police,
- 3:23Speaker 1: if there's demonstrators show up and control the protests. They
- 3:25Speaker 1: control the demonstrators. That's the way it's supposed to go
- 3:30Speaker 1: in Minneapolis, they've decided to do like a January sixth
- 3:33Speaker 1: where you make sure you don't have enough security. You know,
- 3:37Speaker 1: January sixth they turned down the ten thousand troops weren't
- 3:40Speaker 1: able to control the protesters and they ran through the capitol.
- 3:43Speaker 1: Same thing here, make sure there's no cops that way.
- 3:46Speaker 1: The protesters are all over the ICE ations physically confronting them,
- 3:49Speaker 1: and it leads to disaster. So and there's this myth
- 3:52Speaker 1: they've been spreading around, this talking point that's pretty false.
- 3:56Speaker 1: They only have forty seven days of training. That's not true.
- 3:58Speaker 1: There might be a couple with forty seven days of training,
- 4:02Speaker 1: but many of these ICE officers, longtime cops, longtime long resumes.
- 4:07Speaker 1: But you cannot expect them to do crowd control. That's
- 4:10Speaker 1: not what they're there for. They're there to arrest illegal, criminal,
- 4:14Speaker 1: illegal aliens. If a million protesters show up, you need
- 4:18Speaker 1: local police to do crowd control. In every other place
- 4:22Speaker 1: where ICE is, especially Texas, other places, they're doing much
- 4:26Speaker 1: much bigger operations. You know, they've only arrested three thousand
- 4:29Speaker 1: illegals in Minneapolis. In Texas they've arrested forty five thousand,
- 4:34Speaker 1: So they're much bigger operations in other cities, but local
- 4:37Speaker 1: police cooperate and everything's peaceful and orderly all the time.
- 4:42Speaker 1: Let's go to John and Long Island. John. How you doing?
- 4:46Speaker 5: Hey?
- 4:46Speaker 1: Mark?
- 4:47Speaker 5: How you doing?
- 4:47Speaker 7: I've been wanting to call you for so many years.
- 4:50Speaker 7: I've been listening to you, I think since nineteen seventy
- 4:52Speaker 7: eight and WPIX out of New York.
- 4:55Speaker 1: Yeah, you go.
- 4:56Speaker 5: I remember listening to Don Guido.
- 5:00Speaker 1: You know, he was like the Vincent of back then.
- 5:03Speaker 1: Used to call us every.
- 5:04Speaker 7: Sing like Vincent, do you ever?
- 5:07Speaker 5: Is he alive still?
- 5:08Speaker 1: I never knew who he really was. I never knew
- 5:12Speaker 1: the actual person really, he was just a caller every day.
- 5:16Speaker 7: Yeah. He used to do that dating game with him
- 5:18Speaker 7: that it was such a used to.
- 5:19Speaker 1: Dial a date until Howard Stern borrowed it.
- 5:23Speaker 7: Yeah right, you had it before Howard Stern.
- 5:25Speaker 2: I used to run home.
- 5:26Speaker 7: From high school to listen to WPI.
- 5:28Speaker 1: Wow you went to high school. Pretty impressive.
- 5:30Speaker 7: So I love you, Mark, Thanks you great listen. I
- 5:34Speaker 7: listened to you every day for fifty years.
- 5:35Speaker 1: You got a radio now, Wow, that's pretty good. There's
- 5:39Speaker 1: nobody better than you, all right, I have to agree
- 5:41Speaker 1: with that. Thanks, Thanks, Thanks for calling Hey, when we
- 5:45Speaker 1: come back, Howie Carr will be with us. We'll talk
- 5:48Speaker 1: to him in a moment. Lots to talk to him
- 5:49Speaker 1: about coming up on seven to ten w R.
