- 0:52Speaker 2: Rock Johnson.
- 0:54Speaker 3: Dwayne the Rock john Dwayne the Rock.
- 0:56Speaker 2: Johnson just recently. I had to give him a very
- 0:58Speaker 2: special message about somebody that matters to me, and this
- 1:01Speaker 2: is what he sent me back in reply. Happy birthday
- 1:06Speaker 2: to you, Kylie Coulson, Happy birthday to you.
- 1:13Speaker 3: Happy birthday, Happy birthday, Happy birthday to you.
- 1:24Speaker 2: Is there anything that guy can't do?
- 1:26Speaker 3: I was just imagining while he was popping his.
- 1:28Speaker 2: Pecks right, well, it was either going to be Dwayne
- 1:32Speaker 2: Johnson or Jack Black, and I figured that Dwayne Johnson.
- 1:39Speaker 2: Now it's not actually your birthday today. We don't want
- 1:40Speaker 2: to give away the real date of your birthday, but

- 2:16Speaker 2: send those What am I I'm going to get in
- 2:20Speaker 2: trouble for this, Okay? Oh, you know what you could
- 2:23Speaker 2: do though, for a birthday gift. You could leave Kylie
- 2:25Speaker 2: a five star rating and review at Apple Podcasts. Let
- 2:28Speaker 2: everyone know what you think about the podcast and about Kylie.
- 2:30Speaker 2: That would come on. It's not all me.
- 2:32Speaker 3: It might happen to be your birthday in a day
- 2:34Speaker 3: or two.
- 2:34Speaker 2: Well stop that that that was uncalled for and completely inappropriate.
- 2:38Speaker 2: And I'm not sure if it's entirely true either.
- 2:41Speaker 3: Yes, so bad. Hey, we need to do you don't
- 2:44Speaker 3: mind a five star of you either day.
- 2:45Speaker 2: We need to talk about I'll do Better Tomorrow Birthday Girl.
- 2:49Speaker 2: Every Friday, for those of you who are new to
- 2:50Speaker 2: the podcast, we talk about the things that we've done well,
- 2:52Speaker 2: all the things that we haven't done well in the
- 2:54Speaker 2: past week.
- 2:54Speaker 3: We've got some doozies.
- 2:55Speaker 2: Today it's all about reflecting on how we can be
- 2:58Speaker 2: better parents, how it can be more in intentional tomorrow.
- 3:01Speaker 2: Hence the name of the segment, I'll do Better.
- 3:03Speaker 3: Can I just say I'm glad that there are tomorrows?
- 3:07Speaker 2: Yes? Yes, because we make mistakes all the time. By
- 3:09Speaker 2: the way, in just a couple of minutes, probably after
- 3:13Speaker 2: the break that will take in a few minutes, we're
- 3:15Speaker 2: going to share with you the biggest parenting fail of
- 3:18Speaker 2: our lives, and I'm just going to mention that it
- 3:20Speaker 2: accidentally had something to do with the nude beach. That's
- 3:23Speaker 2: all incident, very accidentally. We need to put that in
- 3:27Speaker 2: knee on Accidentally. We'll get to the nude beach shortly.
- 3:30Speaker 2: I can't believe that I just said that. So I'll
- 3:32Speaker 2: do better tomorrow. We've actually got about three weeks worth
- 3:34Speaker 2: to catch up on. I think we keep it brief
- 3:36Speaker 2: and what I would like to do is talk about
- 3:38Speaker 2: the I'm so sorry for anyone in a lockdown state.
- 3:43Speaker 2: It's coming. I promise, well, based on what I can't promise,
- 3:46Speaker 2: I don't have the authority to promise. The governments keep
- 3:48Speaker 2: on promising that it's getting closer and closer. Your opportunity
- 3:51Speaker 2: for a holiday. Because we're fortunate enough to be in Queensland,
- 3:54Speaker 2: we haven't been experiencing lockdowns like everyone else, and we
- 3:57Speaker 2: were able to go away for the first time in
- 3:59Speaker 2: such a long time time and have a family holiday.
- 4:02Speaker 2: And I think when it comes to I'll do better tomorrow.
- 4:05Speaker 2: The big win has been having a holiday, getting out
- 4:08Speaker 2: of the routine, and we were really nervous. We were
- 4:11Speaker 2: going to be in close proximity to other people for
- 4:13Speaker 2: an extended period of time, and we were so scared
- 4:16Speaker 2: that our kids were going to fight and just not
- 4:19Speaker 2: be very nice to each other. That is that reasonable
- 4:22Speaker 2: to say.
- 4:22Speaker 3: Well, they're going to get a bird's eye view of
- 4:24Speaker 3: the day in the life of happy families.
- 4:27Speaker 2: Yeah. Yeah. And now that I'm on the upcoming Channel
- 4:29Speaker 2: nine TV show p Rental Guidance, I feel like I'm
- 4:32Speaker 2: under the spotlight, under scrutiny more than ever. So we
- 4:34Speaker 2: were really stressing about this whole Do we take the
- 4:37Speaker 2: kids away and let people see what our family is
- 4:39Speaker 2: really like. You're making us sound really bad. The highlight
- 4:44Speaker 2: of the last few weeks with the holiday, and for
- 4:45Speaker 2: anyone who's dealing with lockdown, especially or anyone who just
- 4:48Speaker 2: hasn't had a holiday for a while, it was amazing.
- 4:52Speaker 2: We took all six kids and Chanelle, our eldest daughter.
- 4:55Speaker 2: We took her husband as well, so it was the
- 4:57Speaker 2: entire immediate family on for just over a week and
- 5:02Speaker 2: a very tiny cabin in a really tiny, confined space,
- 5:06Speaker 2: and it was just wonderful. The kids played games, they
- 5:11Speaker 2: sang songs, and when I say they sang songs. I mean, boy,
- 5:15Speaker 2: did they sing songs. I'm talking the whole family, and
- 5:28Speaker 2: it just it was NonStop the whole time, making all
- 5:30Speaker 2: of this noise, but we've got the entire family singing
- 5:33Speaker 2: and dancing and bouncing around the room while we're all
- 5:37Speaker 2: trying to relax. But it was it was just amazing
- 5:39Speaker 2: to see the children having that much fun.
- 5:40Speaker 3: Wow. What I've noticed is that often in family life,
- 5:45Speaker 3: home becomes this pressure pot of emotion. We're all got
- 5:49Speaker 3: our own pressures and you know, time restraints and concerns
- 5:53Speaker 3: and challenges, and we come together and life is hard.
- 5:57Speaker 3: And when we get the opportunity to just leave that behind,
- 6:00Speaker 3: drop the agenda, even for a few days, well, I
- 6:04Speaker 3: think part of it is as the children are getting older,
- 6:07Speaker 3: we're definitely seeing more of it. But just an opportunity
- 6:11Speaker 3: to let go of that agenda changes everything.
- 6:15Speaker 2: Yeah, I didn't want.
- 6:15Speaker 3: To come home, That's the honest true.
- 6:17Speaker 2: Day to day life, you kind of stop seeing each other,
- 6:19Speaker 2: and once you're on a holiday in a different environment
- 6:22Speaker 2: and dealing with different kinds of challenges and experiences, it
- 6:26Speaker 2: changes the dynamics of the relationships. And oh man, it
- 6:29Speaker 2: was just it was bliss, wasn't it. I mean, really,
- 6:31Speaker 2: it was mostly fabulously amazing. It was so great. There
- 6:37Speaker 2: were a couple of challenges though, in spite of the goodness,
- 6:40Speaker 2: Like there was the time when we went on a boat,
- 6:44Speaker 2: spent some time on a boat, and it had a
- 6:45Speaker 2: little rubber inflatable dingy dingy dingy. They called it the
- 6:49Speaker 2: tender off the back of the boat. I don't know
- 6:51Speaker 2: what a tender is, but I'm guessing it's the little
- 6:52Speaker 2: boat that floats along behind on the rope. And we've
- 6:55Speaker 2: been moored for a while. We've been because the kids
- 6:57Speaker 2: been doing some kayaking and stuff, jumping off the boat
- 7:00Speaker 2: into the water. We were in the Wit Sundays for
- 7:02Speaker 2: people who were wondering where were you, what were you
- 7:05Speaker 2: doing on a boat and where were they jumping? It
- 7:06Speaker 2: was in the Wit Sundays, so no sharks, no crocks,
- 7:09Speaker 2: totally safe. I'm sure it no sting is I'm sure
- 7:11Speaker 2: it was totally safe. And the skipper turned the boat
- 7:15Speaker 2: back on and he went from a walk around the boat,
- 7:17Speaker 2: made sure that everything was the way that it should be,
- 7:18Speaker 2: and somehow in the time that in the intervening time
- 7:21Speaker 2: from when he went past the back of the boat
- 7:24Speaker 2: to the front of the boat to start driving. Our
- 7:28Speaker 2: seven year old daughter, Emily managed to clamber down off
- 7:31Speaker 2: the back of the boat, reach out, grab the rope
- 7:33Speaker 2: and pulled that tiny little rubber inflatable towards the boat.
- 7:37Speaker 2: She climbed into it and just decided to float there
- 7:40Speaker 2: for a minute. It probably took her, I don't know,
- 7:42Speaker 2: fifteen or twenty seconds. In that time, the skipper fired
- 7:45Speaker 2: up the boat and started to I was going to say,
- 7:48Speaker 2: started to drive, but what do you do with the boat?
- 7:50Speaker 2: It started to started to get the boat motoring away,
- 7:53Speaker 2: And here we didn't know. We're all kind of just
- 7:56Speaker 2: enjoying the scenery and looking at the islands and the
- 7:58Speaker 2: beautiful color of the water. And I don't know who
- 8:00Speaker 2: it was for. Oh, one of the kids.
- 8:02Speaker 3: One of the kids went out the back to do
- 8:03Speaker 3: some reading and they just heard this little She was like,
- 8:08Speaker 3: that's really weird, and she just happened to look over
- 8:10Speaker 3: the back and he was Emily floating in the boat.
- 8:14Speaker 2: So she's actually in the boat while we're taking along.
- 8:16Speaker 2: It's totally unsafe, totally not okay. And well, the skipper
- 8:21Speaker 2: when he found out because we called out to him
- 8:23Speaker 2: straight away. We're like, you need to come and see this.
- 8:25Speaker 2: So he stopped the boat and he was like, I
- 8:28Speaker 2: need to get grank. Yet she was oblivious, but she
- 8:31Speaker 2: was really scared. Once we've gotten going and we were
- 8:33Speaker 2: like wow, like it happened so fast, the fact that
- 8:37Speaker 2: she was with us. Then I thought she was with you.
- 8:39Speaker 2: You sure thought that she was with me, but she'd
- 8:41Speaker 2: just gone off from a little adventure. Kids do this stuff.
- 8:45Speaker 2: Big take home lesson there in terms of I'll do
- 8:47Speaker 2: better tomorrow, and that is keep an eye on the kids.
- 8:51Speaker 3: I think there's another take home too. Yeah, I think
- 8:53Speaker 3: his parents we obviously see all of the bad that
- 8:56Speaker 3: could happen, and it was there's no taking away from it.
- 8:59Speaker 3: It could have been a devastating story, but it wasn't.
- 9:03Speaker 3: And so I think that we have to take the
- 9:05Speaker 3: opportunity to find some humor in it, because in spite
- 9:08Speaker 3: of the danger, it was hilarious thing.
- 9:10Speaker 2: It kind of was. Yeah, yeah, that reminds me of Lnelle'sknazzi,
- 9:13Speaker 2: the World's Worst Mum. She's the one who came up
- 9:16Speaker 2: with a free range parenting movement and she's kind of
- 9:18Speaker 2: saying a lot of people say, well, what would you
- 9:20Speaker 2: have done if something went wrong?
- 9:22Speaker 3: But it didn't.
- 9:23Speaker 2: It didn't and most of the time it doesn't. And
- 9:26Speaker 2: of course, but.
- 9:26Speaker 3: Because it didn't, you get to have the conversation with her,
- 9:29Speaker 3: So she was able. She learnt the lesson very very
- 9:33Speaker 3: very clearly that what she had done was wrong. But
- 9:36Speaker 3: we were able to talk to her about that afterwards,
- 9:38Speaker 3: once the emotion of everything had calmed down, and have
- 9:41Speaker 3: a conversation that hopefully helps teach her something.
- 9:46Speaker 2: And I mean that happens. You don't have to be
- 9:47Speaker 2: on a boat. It can happen with the kids on
- 9:49Speaker 2: the trampoline or on the swings, or in the kitchen
- 9:51Speaker 2: when one of them throws a knife or slams a
- 9:54Speaker 2: door on their brother's hand or something like that. Like
- 9:56Speaker 2: this stuff happens all the time in life, and we
- 9:58Speaker 2: get to have those conversations. So I'll do better tomorrow.
- 10:01Speaker 2: Number One, holidays are amazing. Number two, if your children
- 10:07Speaker 2: decide in the back of your head, Yeah, if your
- 10:09Speaker 2: children decide to disappear for a minute and you're on
- 10:11Speaker 2: a boat, keep an eye out or wherever you might be.
- 10:14Speaker 2: We've got to tell this story about the new beach.
- 10:16Speaker 2: We're going to do that right after break.
- 10:17Speaker 1: It's the Happy Families Podcast.
- 10:20Speaker 2: Are Screens Creating tension at home? Tweens?
- 10:23Speaker 3: Teens and Screens is a webinar to guide families to healthy,
- 10:27Speaker 3: safe superscreen solutions.
- 10:29Speaker 2: Bye today at happy families dot com, dot au slash shop.
- 10:33Speaker 3: It's the Happy Families Podcast, the podcast for the time
- 10:36Speaker 3: poor parent who just wants answers now And we've been
- 10:39Speaker 3: teasing you. We've got a story, a doozy. I'm going
- 10:42Speaker 3: to blame you. It's all your faults.
- 10:44Speaker 2: Come on. Okay, So here's it's actually not it was
- 10:46Speaker 2: all my faults. It actually was.
- 10:48Speaker 3: I will take I will take over.
- 10:49Speaker 2: I think you should tell the story since okay, I
- 10:51Speaker 2: don't want to say anything that's going to implicate me
- 10:52Speaker 2: in anything here.
- 10:55Speaker 3: So we went up to Bowen for holidays.
- 10:58Speaker 2: On where they do the bowl and mangoes. When I
- 11:00Speaker 2: grow the my shoes.
- 11:01Speaker 3: I also heard from the locals it's called blowing Bowen
- 11:04Speaker 3: because windy, so windy, and day one we looked at
- 11:08Speaker 3: each other and thought, what have we done?
- 11:11Speaker 2: We've blown off the planet. It was so windy, it
- 11:13Speaker 2: was so windy.
- 11:14Speaker 3: But thankfully, day two woke up and the sun was
- 11:16Speaker 3: shining and the wind had subsided. It's just just regularly
- 11:20Speaker 3: blowing is blowing. Bowin is also known for boulders. There
- 11:24Speaker 3: were boulders everywhere along the coastline, stunning, and I'm a
- 11:29Speaker 3: seven year old who just cannot stop climbing. She literally,
- 11:32Speaker 3: I swear she it was a mountain goat in another life.
- 11:35Speaker 3: She scales these rocks without in a blink of an eye.
- 11:40Speaker 2: So I'm in the water, I'm having a swim on
- 11:41Speaker 2: one of these days, and she wants to go for
- 11:43Speaker 2: an explore. She starts climbing around all of the rocks.
- 11:46Speaker 2: So We're at a place called Horseshoe Bay and I'm
- 11:49Speaker 2: swimming in between the flags at Horseshoe Bay with the
- 11:52Speaker 2: whole people, the other kids, and Emily starts moving in
- 11:55Speaker 2: sort of like a northerly direction I'm going to call
- 11:59Speaker 2: it instead of south. She was heading north, starts clambering
- 12:01Speaker 2: over the rocks. You follow her, And it was a.
- 12:04Speaker 3: Big deal for me, Like I'm not agile, like seven
- 12:06Speaker 3: year old, and these boulders really took a lot out
- 12:08Speaker 3: of me to get over and navigate. And we got
- 12:13Speaker 3: towards the end and I all I realized that if
- 12:16Speaker 3: we just kept going around the peninsula a little bit,
- 12:19Speaker 3: we'd actually get back to our cabin and I wouldn't
- 12:22Speaker 3: have to clamber over all of those boulders. And the
- 12:24Speaker 3: reason I knew it was possible was because from our
- 12:26Speaker 3: back door we would see lots of people.
- 12:29Speaker 2: Clam Yeah, that's right. So I was like, you know.
- 12:32Speaker 3: What, Emily's having a ball, let's do it. So it's
- 12:36Speaker 3: me going backwards.
- 12:37Speaker 2: And by this stage I'd gotten out of the water
- 12:38Speaker 2: to follow you because you'd been on the rocks for
- 12:39Speaker 2: twenty minutes, and I was like, I'm going to go
- 12:42Speaker 2: see where they're exploring. We're going to go on this
- 12:44Speaker 2: adventure together.
- 12:46Speaker 3: So you caught up with us. Just as we got
- 12:48Speaker 3: to the part where we were going to have to
- 12:49Speaker 3: be waist deep in water. Emily chucks the mental She
- 12:52Speaker 3: didn't want to get wet, so we put her on
- 12:53Speaker 3: your shoulders and we carried her around the corner and
- 12:56Speaker 3: we got back up onto dry land. Well, we hadn't
- 12:58Speaker 3: been going very far, and you realize that the ground
- 13:01Speaker 3: was pretty nasty. You didn't have any shoes.
- 13:04Speaker 2: There was all sorts of coral and rocks.
- 13:06Speaker 3: And shells, and you were kind of hobbling along, trying
- 13:09Speaker 3: to navigate this really rocky space. And I said, it
- 13:13Speaker 3: can't be too bad down on the flat over there,
- 13:14Speaker 3: because there's a guy and he's just walking along and
- 13:17Speaker 3: he just looked like he was cruising sure, and so
- 13:19Speaker 3: you you went ahead. Well, I couldn't see anything except
- 13:21Speaker 3: for his head. So you went ahead and looked at
- 13:24Speaker 3: me in absolute panic because there was no way to
- 13:28Speaker 3: turn around at that point. No, and said, Kylie, get
- 13:31Speaker 3: Emily now and come quickly.
- 13:34Speaker 2: And I'm trying to wave you. I'm trying to hurry up.
- 13:36Speaker 3: I broke out what you were doing. And you're looking
- 13:38Speaker 3: at that guy and you're looking at me and saying
- 13:39Speaker 3: hurry up. And you're looking at the guy and I'm.
- 13:41Speaker 2: Like, stop, stop, stop, turn around, go back the other way.
- 13:45Speaker 2: And he's looking at me like, who do you think
- 13:46Speaker 2: you are telling me what to do? And I'm telling
- 13:48Speaker 2: you hurry, hurry, hurry, and you're not hurrying. He was
- 13:50Speaker 2: walking towards us, completely stark as we found somew we
- 13:59Speaker 2: made it too, yeah, and last five meters away from me,
- 14:03Speaker 2: completely in the nutty.
- 14:04Speaker 3: By this stage, you've kind of grabbed Emilie's face tilted
- 14:09Speaker 3: it away from him and sheltered her eyes as you've
- 14:12Speaker 3: literally ushered her. And I up a back track because
- 14:15Speaker 3: what we didn't realize until we got to that point
- 14:18Speaker 3: that there was about fifteen people and.
- 14:21Speaker 2: They're all sitting there hit nothing on. And I'm like, okay,
- 14:25Speaker 2: so I'm going to say something really embarrassing here. But
- 14:27Speaker 2: I've always imagined a nude beach would kind of be
- 14:29Speaker 2: like this wonderful playground with everyone frolicking with their fabulous
- 14:32Speaker 2: bodies looking wonderful. And I've always kind of thought it'd
- 14:35Speaker 2: be pretty cool to go and go to a newd beach.
- 14:37Speaker 2: I mean, I'm a guy, right, I've thought that. And
- 14:41Speaker 2: what we saw instead was we were in Bowen.
- 14:44Speaker 3: Maybe they are better somewhere else.
- 14:46Speaker 2: Let's not even let's not even consider it. I will
- 14:49Speaker 2: never ever contemplate a nude beach again in the for
- 14:53Speaker 2: the rest of my life. There were lots of very
- 14:56Speaker 2: seedy looking people, kind of well, just all sitting around,
- 15:00Speaker 2: perving on each other naked. Most of them were well,
- 15:04Speaker 2: I didn't look carefully. I just want to highlight I
- 15:06Speaker 2: wasn't looking carefully, but with what I saw, I didn't
- 15:08Speaker 2: want to see and I was trying to protect Emily's eyes,
- 15:11Speaker 2: and as we walked past the funniest with the naked guy, Emily'.
- 15:18Speaker 3: Says, Daddy, why are you covering my eyes?
- 15:20Speaker 2: Is it because that man's naked. I'm like, oh no,
- 15:25Speaker 2: and I'm trying to run across these rocks. I don't
- 15:27Speaker 2: actually think that she saw anything. I had my hand
- 15:29Speaker 2: firmly across her eyes, but I think she must have
- 15:31Speaker 2: just caught a glimpse of something somewhere or I don't know,
- 15:34Speaker 2: so please don't So let's we don't judge. Please don't
- 15:39Speaker 2: judge us. Wat kid, watch where you're going. Gosh, read
- 15:43Speaker 2: the signs. Now there were no signs. Well, we discovered
- 15:46Speaker 2: on the other side of the beach was that there
- 15:48Speaker 2: were signs warning of an new beach once we'd gotten
- 15:50Speaker 2: past it, saying if you're coming from the other direction
- 15:53Speaker 2: you could get there. But we went like the impossible way.
- 15:56Speaker 3: Like I said, we'd been watching all of these other
- 15:58Speaker 3: people scale these boulders and didn't think anything of it.
- 16:01Speaker 2: There were those signs the way we went, but golly, anyway, so.
- 16:04Speaker 3: Clearly everyone wants to have a look at the new beach.
- 16:06Speaker 2: I'll do better tomorrow. The life lesson here, the thing
- 16:09Speaker 2: that every parent needs to remember. Kylie, what's the take
- 16:12Speaker 2: home message? Help me please, I'm not.
- 16:16Speaker 3: Sure, honey. Cover your children's eyes.
- 16:19Speaker 2: And your own. Just just stay away from that particular
- 16:24Speaker 2: spot that's always saying. On the bright side, though, we
- 16:27Speaker 2: had a great holiday in spite of some awkward moments.
- 16:31Speaker 3: One of the biggest highlights of our trip, though, was
- 16:34Speaker 3: watching Emily go snorkeling. We did this last year. We
- 16:38Speaker 3: tried it, attempted it. I think she lasted what about
- 16:41Speaker 3: five minutes.
- 16:41Speaker 2: Well, not even it was terrible.
- 16:43Speaker 3: Before she said, can you take me to the island,
- 16:45Speaker 3: and you spend an hour and a half exploring the
- 16:47Speaker 3: sand and finding shells.
- 16:48Speaker 2: We're a great keple island off your poon, and the
- 16:51Speaker 2: end of time, well.
- 16:51Speaker 3: The rest of us were snorkeling and finding all of
- 16:53Speaker 3: these amazing things in the reef. And this time round.
- 16:57Speaker 2: Fifteen months later, grown up so much, and she was
- 17:00Speaker 2: like a fish in that water. She was having so
- 17:02Speaker 2: much hips store call flippers and away she went. So
- 17:06Speaker 2: the kids do grow up, the holidays do get better.
- 17:08Speaker 2: And as long as you're careful where you walk, careful
- 17:10Speaker 2: which bold as you climb over. Chances are when you
- 17:13Speaker 2: have your next holid, it's going to be great. And
- 17:16Speaker 2: we really hope that this has been an informative I'll
- 17:18Speaker 2: do better tomorrow.
- 17:20Speaker 3: I don't know about informative, but hopefully we've had a
- 17:22Speaker 3: good laugh.
- 17:23Speaker 2: Okay, So the intention behind all of this, the reflection
- 17:26Speaker 2: really though, is that the kids do grow up and
- 17:28Speaker 2: they get better and better at holidaying and getting out
- 17:31Speaker 2: of the routine can be really important for building relationships
- 17:34Speaker 2: and memories.
- 17:34Speaker 3: And I don't think it's just the kids though, I
- 17:37Speaker 3: think we get better.
- 17:38Speaker 2: Yeah. Well you did some risky things. You did things
- 17:40Speaker 2: you've never done before, not including the beach I'm talking about.
- 17:42Speaker 2: Well maybe I'm sure that's something you've never done before
- 17:45Speaker 2: as well. But you jumped off the boat into the water.
- 17:47Speaker 2: That was pretty scary for you.
- 17:48Speaker 3: Well, jumping into the middle of the ocean, so that
- 17:52Speaker 3: was scary in and of itself. But I didn't only
- 17:54Speaker 3: just jump in. I had to jump from the roof
- 17:56Speaker 3: of the boat.
- 17:57Speaker 2: And there were turtles and there were sting rays and
- 17:59Speaker 2: all sorts of things in the and you did it.
- 18:01Speaker 2: So that was very exciting. We really hope that this
- 18:05Speaker 2: podcast today, this older better tomorrow. Who has given you
- 18:08Speaker 2: an opportunity to reflect on how you can holiday better
- 18:10Speaker 2: with your family and the way that you can create
- 18:13Speaker 2: wonderful memories with them. When lockdown ends or when you
- 18:16Speaker 2: do get to go on your next holiday, we hope
- 18:18Speaker 2: that it's really really soon, because gee, it's wonderful.
- 18:21Speaker 3: I think one more thing that's really worth highlighting in
- 18:24Speaker 3: light of what we're dealing with with lockdowns and restrictions everywhere,
- 18:27Speaker 3: is that you can have an amazing holiday just in
- 18:30Speaker 3: your backyard. We didn't go into state, We didn't have
- 18:32Speaker 3: to leave the country to enjoy wonderful experiences and time together.
- 18:38Speaker 2: Yeah. Well, hopefully borders are going to be opening up
- 18:41Speaker 2: soon and vaccinations continue to increase, but in the meantime
- 18:43Speaker 2: a great point. The Happy Families podcast is produced by
