- 2:34Today's conversation is with co-host of Southwest Radio Ministries, Watchman on the Wall, a daily daily audio program, Joshua Davis, to talk about his book, The Rise of the One Word World Mind, How to Thrive Under the Threat of Globalism.
- 2:52Josh, thank you so much for joining us here today on the Tenpenny Files.
- 2:56I really appreciate your time and thanks for writing your book.
- 2:59Well, thank you, Dr.
- 3:00T.
- 3:00It's wonderful to be with you.
- 3:03You know, this is really a thoughtful book.
- 3:05It's it's it's not a big book for the for the listeners and the watchers of this.
- 3:10It's not a big book, but it is packed with important information.
- 3:14Even your and you start with the first chapter talking about brainwashing.
- 3:19You argue that some powerful people are using classic brainwashing techniques to change the way people think.
- 3:26Can you give us a few examples of that?
- 3:28Yes, absolutely.
- 3:29And you're right, it is a smaller book, and I know people live busy lives, and that was part of my intention in trying to keep it as compressed as possible to the issues to help busy people to have something accessible that they can understand.
- 3:45And you're right, right out of the gate, we talk about brainwashing and how that that is working in our world today.
- 3:51The scripture tells us the pattern of those things, and we see it at work on a global scale.
- 3:59Basically, how brainwash washing works is that uh the brainwasher will try to realign the victims' values with their values.
- 4:11And that's the real goal in all of this is the realignment of values.
- 4:15So, in other words, what the victim calls good or bad will be realigned with what the brainwasher has determined is good or bad.
- 4:25And so that good or bad could actually harm the victim, but they have realigned the values so much that they're willing to choose what is harmful to them in order to stay in line with the brainwasher that is trying to influence the way that they think.
- 4:51Yes.
- 4:52Focusing on the truth.
- 4:54Right.
- 4:54Absolutely.
- 4:55It is.
- 4:56And uh, you know, I think that's ground zero of of the battle today is that everyone wants to be God themselves.
- 5:04And the issue of authority seems to be ground zero of this current battle that we're fighting.
- 5:10That if God's word is not my authority, uh, then I get to be the authority.
- 5:16I get to determine my gender, my identity, uh, my future, my plans, my goals, my money, everything revolves around me, and I become a god of my own making.
- 5:27And I think that that's part of the the spirit of our times, which also ties into Bible prophecy in the spirit of the end times that the Bible speaks about in many places in our New Testament.
- 5:40You know, I've interviewed or I've had conversations with other authors that have talked about we've talked a lot about the Z Gens, the you know, Gen Z, which is age 14 to 30.
- 5:51So we're basically talking about the 20 somethings, and that more than 50% of them are either agnostic or absolutely atheistic that they don't believe in God at all.
- 6:02And so if you don't have any grounding, particularly when you're a young person in any belief in God the Father, it's really easy to say, well, there isn't one truth, and it could just be my truth, and I differ from you, and so I'm right.
- 6:18How do we reach those people and to get them to understand that that it is truth is not subjective?
- 6:26Yes, yeah, there's a few good tactics that you can use when someone is claiming, well, truth is subjective.
- 6:32A friend of mine says that we use the roadrunner tactic, and that that harkens back to the old cartoon of the roadrunner and coyote and the coyote would always run over the cliff.
- 6:44He looked down, and there's that moment where he's just frozen in midair, and then suddenly he drops and you hear the big kaboom.
- 6:50And so part of that roadrunner tactic is to turn the argument around on itself when people are making these kinds of truth claims.
- 6:59Well, truth is subjective, okay.
- 7:00Truth is subjective, okay.
- 7:02Turn that around on itself.
- 7:02Turn that around on itself.
- 7:03Is that a subjective truth?
- 7:03Is that a subjective truth?
- 7:05No.
- 7:05No.
- 7:06You're saying it's absolutely true for all people, all places, all times that truth is subjective.
- 7:06You're saying it's absolutely true for all people, all places, all times that truth is subjective.
- 7:13And if somebody says there is no truth, turn that around on itself.
- 7:13And if somebody says there is no truth, turn that around on itself.
- 7:17Ask the question Well, is that statement true?
- 7:17Ask the question, well, is that statement true?
- 7:21Is it true that there is no truth?
- 7:21Is it true that there is no truth?
- 7:24And so a lot of these truth claims can be just totally turned around on itself and reversed.
- 7:24And so a lot of these truth claims can be just totally turned around on itself and reversed.
- 7:30And then they can look beneath them like the coyote over the cliff edge and say, I don't have any ground to stand on.
- 7:36And the argument defeats itself.
- 7:38So all these kinds of claims, you have your truth, I have my truth, all these claims really are self-defeating statements because they're using absolute truth and they have to use the fact that there is some foundational truth undergirding all these uh suppositions that they make, and they have to stand on that ground to even make their argument.
- 8:01And so absolute truth is just inescapable.
- 8:05And I think that your premise in the first part of your book here about the brainwashing is capitalizing on the fact that people have no grounding.
- 8:14And so if that sounds good, I believe that's the truth.
- 8:18And there are specific brainwashing techniques like NLP and you know, hypnotic sort of trances that people can use to capture those minds and take that forward.
- 8:30You agree with that?
- 8:31I do, yes.
- 8:32And uh more in the book, I'm talking about the bigger scale kinds of things, not necessarily through those particular means, but uh through conditioning of the way that we think.
- 8:43And and I think that you're right on when you say that the spirit of our age, the mindset that our current generations have, and when you take God out of the equation and the biblical foundation, the biblical worldview way of thinking, then you can open the door for just about anything to come in and to creep in and to something has to fill that vacuum.
- 9:06And so the secularists of our day who say, just check your faith at the door.
- 9:11You don't really, you know, we're irreligious and those kinds of things, they still have a worldview that they're operating from.
- 9:18And so what we're seeing on a global scale is the conditioning of the way that people think, little by little by little, and and how that aligns with the biblical end time scenario that's given to us in the scriptures.
- 9:31Yeah, for sure.
- 9:33You know, another uh main theme in your book, the right rise of the one world mind is globalism.
- 9:41And I've spoken to several authors about globalism.
- 9:45What is your definition of globalism and why is it such a growing threat across the of America and really around the world?
- 9:52Yeah, globalism is really just an attempt to bring the world together in one.
- 9:57And that can be in many different ways.
- 10:00One in government, one in economy, uh, one in worship, and all of that is the hallmarks of the biblical end time scenario, like in Revelation chapter 13, it talks about the antichrist or the beast system, and there will be that one world economy, one world worship, one world government at that place.
- 10:22And so in the book, I'm examining how are we taking steps in that direction?
- 10:27How are we moving in that direction right now?
- 10:30And there are powerful people and entire governments that are uh promoting a movement in that direction.
- 10:37And you could just look across all the different uh avenues that I explore in the book, whether that be government, economy, worship, etc., uh AI technology and how that that is helping this movement, and you can see many, many different examples of of how we're moving in that particular direction.
- 10:58How does becoming grounded in the word and really exploring and spending time with Bible prophecy able to help us stand against this glowing world, one world mind and one world government?
- 11:11Right.
- 11:12And that's a very good question because we have to have the foundation of God's word.
- 11:17It's not my opinion versus somebody else's opinion or whatever, and and people can argue about globalism and what it's doing, and are we there, are we not there, and all those kinds of things.
- 11:28But if we don't have the foundation in God's word, we don't have any mooring that we're attached to.
- 11:34And so uh, as a Christian, we need to be rooted and grounded in God's word as our authority to help us navigate these uncertain times that we live in and help us to see with clarity.
- 11:48You know, I think that God has given us his word so that we can have clarity in all the chaos that's swirling around us, and so that we can see clearly in this moment that we live in.
- 12:00And I think that's part of the biblical admonition for Christians who are alive in this day and time.
- 12:06And that's why I'm so glad that you've chosen to talk about these kinds of topics on your show, is that uh we are here to to warn others to what's happening, just like Noah, you know, the Bible describes Noah's role in his generation.
- 12:22He was there building the ark, and back then they couldn't go to Lowe's or Home Depot or Ikea or someplace like that and get a build an ark kit, you know, they had to uh cut the trees down, let them season, uh, let it all come together.
- 12:37And while Noah was building the Ark, he was also doing something else very important, and that was preaching the message that judgment was coming, even that ark in his backyard, so to speak, was a visual representation that judgment is coming, and little by little, as the ark is being built and Noah is preaching that message, people can see judgment's got to be getting closer.
- 13:00And so for Christians today, when we open our eyes and ears to the kinds of things that we're discussing, we can become like a Noah in our generation to get the word out to help people to see, hey, you need to open your eyes and open your ears and understand exactly how these things are taking place and how we're moving in this direction in our day-to-day, and that this world is not a playground, it's really a battleground.
- 13:27And uh, we are here as the Christian army for such a time as this, as the book of Esther says, and and so we have a responsibility, we have a calling in this moment.
- 13:37And so if we don't understand what God's word says on these issues, how are we going to know how to stand, where to stand, what hill to stand on?
- 13:46And so we have to have that biblical foundation.
- 13:50You know, having said that, does God's word actually offer solutions and advice for standing against the globalism?
- 13:58Because solutions is kind of the buzzword these days.
- 14:00Kind of the buzzword these days.
- 14:02Everybody is kind of weary of us just talking about the problem.
- 14:02Everybody is kind of weary of us just talking about the problem.
- 14:06They want to know what can we do about it.
- 14:06They want to know what can we do about it.
- 14:08What is God's word offer us in those in those in that direction?
- 14:08What is God's word offers in those in the in that direction?
- 14:11Yes, there's so many different solutions that God's word offers.
- 14:11Yes, there's so many different solutions that God's word offers.
- 14:15And I've never been one, like you just said, that likes somebody just saying problem after problem after problem, and never giving any solution, never giving any answers, never pointing to what the scripture says is the solution.
- 14:15And I've never been one, like you just said, that likes somebody just saying problem after problem after problem and never giving any solution, never giving any answers, never pointing to what the scripture says is the solution.
- 14:28I remember I was.
- 14:28I remember I was talking with somebody about AI and some of the dangers associated with it.
- 14:34And I was really just hanging on their words because what they were saying was so interesting.
- 14:40And then I asked them that question well, what hope do we have?
- 14:43What solutions can we come up with?
- 14:45And their answer was basically, well, there's not really anything we can do.
- 14:48And I was just left so deflated.
- 14:50I was like, my goodness, there's got to be some kind of solutions.
- 14:53But you're right.
- 14:54For every problem, there is a biblical solution.
- 14:57When we're talking about brainwashing specifically, I think that the solution for the brainwashing component to all of this is Daniel chapter number one.
- 15:07It's a fascinating chapter of scripture because we see that the Babylonian empire who had taken Daniel and his friends captive as young men.
- 15:17Most people think that they were teenagers the time that they were deported from Israel or the kingdom of Judah into Babylon.
- 15:25And so when they come in, they try to change everything about them.
- 15:29They change their names to reflect the uh Babylonian deities instead of Almighty God.
- 15:36They change their language, they change their education, they put them through this intense training program.
- 15:42They were willing to take their time with this effort, which is a key to brainwashing exercises, the slow, steady change over a long period of time.
- 15:53And so we see that brainwashing attempt at work in the life and the mind of young Daniel.
- 16:00And the scripture says in Daniel chapter one that Daniel purposed in his heart, and he made that choice within himself that he was going to stand on what he knew was true.
- 16:11He was going to be faithful to God.
- 16:13And so Daniel uh responded in a respectful manner.
- 16:19Uh, sometimes we think that Daniel was in no position to make a demand, and that's right.
- 16:26But even still, he was not powerless.
- 16:29Even though he was in captivity, he was not powerless.
- 16:32He had the ability to appeal, and he did so respectfully.
- 16:37And because he showed respect towards those who were overwatching him, that that put him in a platform to where they would at least listen to his suggestion.
- 16:47And so he proposed that test, and he and his friends would stick with their diet, and and everybody else would eat the uh the bounty that was literally fit for a king.
- 16:57I mean, Nebuchadnezzar didn't hold back the buffet.
- 17:00He said, Come and eat anything and everything you want, the best that we have to offer.
- 17:04And Daniel said he wasn't going to defile himself with those things.
- 17:09And so he purposed in his heart, and he appealed in a respectful way.
- 17:14And if you know the end of the story in Daniel chapter one, we see that Daniel ended up influencing Babylon.
- 17:20They changed the whole training program because they saw that Daniel and his friends looked better and they were smarter and they outpaced everybody else on the program.
- 17:30And so even though Daniel was in a uh brainwashing uh squeeze, if you will, that he didn't allow that to overcome him.
- 17:39He decided, I'm going to stick with God, even if it cost me my life.
- 17:43I'm going to stand on what I know is true.
- 17:46And he ended up influencing his captors instead of the other way around.
- 17:50It's a remarkable answer to the issue going on there.
- 17:54So uh for every globalist issue, there's a biblical solution.
- 17:58Uh, Daniel chapter one is a good example of that with brainwashing.
- 18:02There's many, many others that that we can touch on, and I talk about in the book, other solutions to these kinds of issues.
- 18:09Well, go ahead if you've got other ones that you'd like to like to comment on.
- 18:13Go ahead and okay, absolutely.
- 18:15Well, for instance, there in 2 Timothy chapter 3, it says that in the last days, perilous times will come.
- 18:22And I've got a chapter in the book where I talk about the rise of malignant narcissism, and that's just the widespread me virus, if you will, that's in our world today.
- 18:34We live in that selfie culture.
- 18:36Everybody's got their cell phones and they uh want to look at themselves and see themselves.
- 18:41Everybody's an influencer.
- 18:43You know, I've worked with younger people uh quite a bit in my life and in my ministry.
- 18:48And you know, you talk to people over the years, and at one point everybody wanted to be a lawyer, a doctor, an electrician, a plumber, and now you ask average kids what they want to be.
- 19:00I want to be a YouTuber.
- 19:02I want to be an influencer.
- 19:03And everyone has this idea of gaining the attention of the masses and wanting all the eyes to be on them.
- 19:11And the Bible tells us that in the last days, perilous times will come.
- 19:15For men shall be lovers of their own selves.
- 19:18It's rooted in a self-love.
- 19:21And in 2 Timothy 3, Paul goes on to explain what all of that looks like.
- 19:27And when you get to the end of the chapter, he explores a lot of solutions.
- 19:32And again, in the book, I've just got a whole chapter where I unpack 2 Timothy chapter 3 and walk through it verse by verse to explore the solutions, but it all comes back to the main point of emphasis that we've been discussing.
- 19:45And it's the authority of God's word.
- 19:48You know, the last two verses of 2 Timothy chapter 3, verses 16 and 17.
- 19:53A lot of Christians know those verses when you ask them what verses of the Bible talk about the authority and the inspiration of scripture, they they point to these two verses, all scriptures given by inspiration of God.
- 20:07A lot of times, though, we divorce that verse from its fuller context.
- 20:12And I think God has inspired his word for us to give us a GPS system, if you will, because it talks about how that his word is given for reproof, for doctrine, for correction, for instruction in righteousness.
- 20:27It's our guide.
- 20:29Those are all directional words that it's pointing us, either we need to correct something in our life, we need to stay on the right track, we need to adjust something in our life.
- 20:39And so God has given us this spiritual GPS system in his word, if you will, to help us navigate these perilous times that we're going to live in when people will be lovers of their own selves.
- 20:52And so for all these problems, we see more and more biblical solutions.
- 20:57Wow, those are really, really great solutions.
- 21:00Solutions.
- 21:00And I think that taking those apart piece by piece is really important and things that that are bite-sized pieces that people can absorb and then explore further, you know, and in other areas of the word of God.
- 21:00And I think that taking those apart piece by piece is really important and things that that are bite-sized pieces that people can absorb and then explore further, you know, and in other areas of the word of God.
- 21:13You know, your book, you've got three chapters in your book on the rise of a one world government, one world economy, and one world worship, which is all biblical end time prophecy that we will all be in those places.
- 21:13You know, your book, you've got three chapters in your book on the rise of a one world government, one world economy, and one world worship, which is all biblical end time prophecy that we will all be in those places.
- 21:29And we
- 21:29And we see it.
- 21:30I mean, if you just open your eyes and look around, it's it's everyday conversations now.
- 21:36It isn't something off in the future.
- 21:38It's here right now.
- 21:40So are all of these things that we prophesies coming together?
- 21:43Do you think we are at the point of the return of Christ?
- 21:47Well, we certainly could be.
- 21:48I believe in the eminency of the rapture of the church, which means it could just happen at any moment.
- 21:54I don't see any biblical signs that precede the rapture.
- 21:57And the fact that we're seeing the setting of the stage as we are shows us how close we could be to the end times events unfolding.
- 22:06And there's nothing else that needs to be fulfilled on God's prophetic timeline for these particular events to occur.
- 22:15There's nothing else on the timeline, you don't think?
- 22:19Well, in order for the rapture to happen, but yes, there are other things happening in the world.
- 22:23And you know, for instance, the kinds of things that we're seeing with the digitization of government and how all of that is coming together.
- 22:31It's remarkable to think about.
- 22:33And that's something I really touch on in those chapters.
- 22:36Uh, because for instance, in uh the EU, the European Union, they released last year uh digital border control system where people have to scan their face and their fingerprint.
- 22:49It's just like Revelation 13 talks about the mark of the beast.
- 22:52Now, I'm not saying those things are the mark of the beast, but it is a conditioning.
- 22:57That's more of that brainwashing that we're seeing that people just get so used.
- 23:01This is the way the world works.
- 23:03And governments, even here in the United States of America, are pushing for more of a centralized standardized biometric system.
- 23:12The Department of Homeland Security is talking about these kinds of things where face scans, fingerprint scans would all be digitized.
- 23:20The US has uh signed agreements with some of the other nations in the world to share information with each other, biometric information.
- 23:29So if somebody tries to enter the US and they're flagged because it recognizes the face scan or a fingerprint scan, whatever it may be, they're flagged and they're not allowed to enter.
- 23:40So the European Union is already doing this.
- 23:42If people want to travel to a European Union nation, they have to go through some of this biometric system.
- 23:50And so we could have a global database of all the world citizens.
- 23:55And what do you need to have a global government?
- 23:57You need to have a global citizenship.
- 23:59And could this kind of database be a precursor to that kind of thing?
- 24:05And so we are seeing the setting of the stage in a lot of different areas for the biblical end time scenario to emerge and the kinds of things that will be here during the tribulation period.
- 24:16But even some of the recent events with Iran and Israel and all of that really ties together with Bible prophecy too.
- 24:24Well, and then we've got the one world economy, the central bank digital currencies that are happening, and um the flux of wanting to digitize everything to put it on the blockchain and the rise and fall of cryptocurrency and what's happening with gold and silver.
- 24:41Um, we're living in really tumultuous times.
- 24:44Who was it that said, you know, may we live in interesting times?
- 24:47I don't think they had any idea what they were talking about when they said that.
- 24:51May we live in interesting times.
- 24:53I would rather live in much calmer, peaceful times to tell you the truth.
- 24:58But we are living in uh we're seeing all of it.
- 25:01I mean, it's just so prophetic and so many different things from prophecy that just seem to be unfolding.
- 25:06And I can't, and I'm a I'm a decent studier of history.
- 25:09I can't think of any time in the past where um all of these things were coming together.
- 25:15I, you know, I've thought about um times where bombs were falling on your head, like World War I, World War II, and war, that I'm sure that people were that were living in those countries must have surely thought this was uh the end times and that Jesus was coming back.
- 25:31But the combination of one world government, economy, and worship that you go into detail about in your book puts us at a different point in time in history.
- 25:42Do you believe that's so?
- 25:44I do too.
- 25:44Yes, I do.
- 25:45And the analogy I like to think about is that we're coming into much sharper focus.
- 25:52In other words, it's like a blurry camera lens, and the uh camera person is twisting all the knobs and buttons.
- 26:00I'm not a photographer as you can tell, but uh it's getting into a much sharper focus, and you can clearly see, you know, a good example of that is Revelation chapter 11, where it talks about the two witnesses who will be there.
- 26:14They are killed and their bodies are in the street for three and a half days, and the Bible says that all the world will see them.
- 26:22And you know, just a hundred years ago, people just said this has to be an analogy.
- 26:26This can't be taken literally.
- 26:28We how could the whole world see these dead bodies in the street and then with broadcast television and then the advent of the internet and now everybody has a smartphone and and you can easily see how that prophecy could come true in a literal manner.
- 26:44It's come into a much sharper focus.
- 26:47And so all these pieces of the puzzle are fitting together and it's making the picture look much more clear, and we're able to see it with a much sharper contrast and focus at this particular moment in history.
- 27:00I agree with you.
- 27:00And when, you know, the global language now for the most part is English, and we have all these apps on our phone now that can translate like 150 languages.
- 27:10So are uh in living in a country that doesn't have access to English, you can just run it through the app and know exactly what it says, where everyone will know, everyone will hear at the same time.

- 36:15His articles appear in monthly newsletter, Prophetic Observer and The Prophecy in the News Magazine.
- 36:21Josh also serves as a pastor staff for his home church in Bristol, Virginia.
- 36:27Josh, welcome back to the show.
- 36:29I'm so grateful to have you here to talk about this end times, which is, I think on the mind of every Christian these days.
- 36:37It really is.
- 36:38Yeah, thank you, Dr.
- 36:38T.
- 36:39You know, you spent an entire chapter discussing the rise of artificial intelligence.
- 36:44I've interviewed quite a few authors about this topic, and most people are quite cautionary about it.
- 36:53How do you see AI as being part of biblical end time scenario?
- 36:58Yes, it's really equipping a massive transformation in our world.
- 37:03You know, I was recently reading after a couple of major, I'm talking about Fortune 500 CEOs that people would recognize the name instantaneously.
- 37:13These aren't like number 490 that you've barely ever heard of, but these are household name companies, and we're talking about the CEOs, the presidents of these kinds of organizations.
- 37:25One of them said that the AI technology that's emerging today is the biggest thing since the internet.
- 37:32The other one took it a step further and said it's the biggest thing since electricity.
- 37:38Now, that wasn't at a joint panel.
- 37:40They weren't even sitting together.
- 37:42It was separate statements released on separate occasions by both of these corporate leaders of major, major international companies.
- 37:52And so they understand that there is an AI arms race, if you will, at work in the world right now.
- 37:59The United States of America is trying to be at the cutting edge of AI technology.
- 38:05And the mindset is we don't want to get left behind.
- 38:08Let's push forward, push forward, push forward.
- 38:10But now we're seeing a lot of people saying, let's just wait, let's pump the brakes, let's understand where we are before we open some doors that we can't uh undo and and open some avenues that uh maybe to our detriment instead of to our benefit.
- 38:25And so we're seeing this come, and there's a lot of big questions about AI technology.
- 38:31And people are starting to ask these questions.
- 38:33I think it was the state of Ohio that uh earlier or I should say towards the end of 2025, they were exploring should we allow AI to own property?
- 38:46And that sounds so silly, but when you think about the AI capabilities, uh, could uh an AI bot of some sort be considered a property owner?
- 38:57Could they be given uh, for instance, uh medical judgment calls over people, you know, uh power of attorney kind of thing, to where someone has set up their AI companion or AI bot to now make end of life decisions for themselves based on whatever they've put into it.
- 39:14So it's just crazy the kinds of things that we're seeing happen and the tool and how it could be used to really control people.
- 39:24And that's the thing about it.
- 39:26I think about when it connects with what the scripture says, how that this kind of network, the databases that we talked about earlier with the biometrics and all those kinds of things, how that these powerful tools could fall into the hands of the wrong people.
- 39:40And what happens when these tools do fall into the hands of the wrong people, somebody like the Antichrist and how he could use those tools to control people to restrict their freedom.
- 39:51And just to paint a little scenario for your audience, you know, think about uh when we had COVID and the lockdowns and imagine that we have some kind of global shock of that scenario of that level, and we all have digital currency in this scenario.
- 40:09We don't have cash anymore, let's say, and it's all controlled by AI.
- 40:14And so if I try to go purchase something outside of my zone, it's not going to allow me.
- 40:19If I need fuel, if I need food, if I need some life-sustaining medical device or medicine or whatever it may be, and I'm outside my zone, it's going to lock me in and limit where I can uh purchase things.
- 40:33And so that's what's dangerous when you combine all these avenues that we're exploring together, a central bank digital currency, uh the AI capabilities, and how these things could be used to control people and to restrict their freedoms.
- 40:49It's it is a uh a cautionary tale that we really need to be thinking about before we just launch into it, because when we talk about the mindset of our age today, when a new technology comes out, you know, we've been trained and we've been conditioned to think I've got to have the latest and greatest.
- 41:08The newest iPhone just came out, the newest smart TV just came out, the newest uh computer just came out, and and we have to have the latest and greatest.
- 41:17And we're so stuck in that mindset, that way of thinking, I've got to have the latest and greatest.
- 41:22When are we going to pass a point where we can't go back?
- 41:26And when we've given over all that information to uh companies or to the government or whatever that they're able to just uh shepherd us in the direction that they want us to go.
- 41:37Boy, you're spot on with that.
- 41:38And I think that uh, you know, I look at AI as um a bunch of uh rambunctious stallions that were in in a barn, and we just let the barn door open and let them just run with no no fence, no guides, no anything.
- 41:54And they're just running as fast as they can to get to the finish line because it's who can do the biggest, the fastest, the quickest, the most pervasive ever.
- 42:00The fastest, the quickest, the most pervasive ever.
- 42:03And everybody uses China as well.
- 42:03And everybody uses China as well.
- 42:05We got to compete against China.
- 42:05We got to compete against China.
- 42:07What about um, you know, I I did an interview a couple of weeks ago with um with Booker Scott on his book, talking about when what happens when when AI is demanding rights, like to do something or to not to do something or to have time off, or uh demands that if you try to shut off the AI technology.
- 42:07What about um, you know, I did an interview a couple of weeks ago with um with Booker Scott on his book, talking about when what happens when AI is demanding rights, like to do something or to not to do something or to have time off, or uh demands that if you try to shut off the AI technology, that's called murder now because they are sentient beings and they have feelings and thoughts that can be programmed to be just like humanoid thoughts.
- 42:38And he was putting a uh a proposal forward about we need a 28th amendment to define what is human.
- 42:46We've got a supreme court that can't even tell us what is a woman, right?
- 42:50Uh our constitution to be defined of what is a human being in terms of DNA and you know, all these different things is very, very interesting.
- 42:59And his book also said if we have AI that's that's working in uh in a company, who do they report to, or who controls them?
- 43:07Is it HR or is it IT?
- 43:10Yeah, that's fascinating to think about.
- 43:12Yeah.
- 43:13And there are a lot of components of what you've said that I don't like it when people refer to AI bots with human characteristics, like AI can learn.
- 43:23It's not really learning in the human sense of learning.
- 43:26And that's why we have to really define what does it mean to think?
- 43:29What does it mean to be human, as you said, and and what does it mean to to actually learn?
- 43:34Are they just processing lots of data and crunching lots of numbers, or are they learning in the human sense of learning?
- 43:42But it is, you're right.
- 43:43And uh AI bots are uh going to quickly surpass human ability when it comes to language and those kinds of things.
- 43:50And so it's something we certainly have to keep an eye on in these days.
- 43:54Well, I think it needs to be more than just keeping an eye on.
- 43:57I mean, it's truly a structure that's really pervasive.
- 44:01I mean, it just AI in our normal language just came into our language a couple years ago.
- 44:09And I remember hearing about it thinking, well, that's a ways off.
- 44:12And here we are, like today, chat GPT and Grok and you know, synchronicity, uh, all these there, it's just like talking about how's the weather or how did you enjoy your scrambled eggs for breakfast?
- 44:24You know, it's just conversation.
- 44:26Um, it's something that people need to be aware of and be cautioned about it.
- 44:31I mean, AI has already been responsible for several people committing suicide, and there's just there's just a lot of dangers, I think.
- 44:39I actually even had one pastor, this was a while ago now, to go far as say that they believe that that AI and what is evolving here, you know, AI actually has its own uh um its own private chat group on X.
- 44:54That they talk about their their uh their bad humans and how what can they do when they're humans they think are nefarious?
- 45:02I mean, seriously, this is much more pervasive than I think people most talk about.
- 45:07And I had a pastor tell me that he really felt that this was part of the rise of the super rise of the antichrist.
- 45:15Do you have thoughts about that?
- 45:17Yeah, it certainly could be.
- 45:18And you know, I've wondered, you know, in Revelation chapter 13, where it talks about the antichrist and the false prophet, and then you see that there's the image of the beast, and a lot of Bible prophecy teachers have said, could this AI technology become this image of the beast?
- 45:36You know, whether or not it could, I don't know.
- 45:39Uh now there's a lot up in the air about a lot of these things because AI requires so much electricity to power it.
- 45:46And during the tribulation, we understand that the power grid is going to be almost wiped out.
- 45:52It's going to be very limited.
- 45:53But they're talking about putting all these satellites into space where AI isn't dependent on the power grid here, and it's powered remotely from outside of planet earth, so to speak.
- 46:06And so there's a lot at work here that we can see, and it certainly is going to be a powerful tool in the hands of someone like the Antichrist that could use all these technological capabilities to easily control the world.
- 46:20And again, that goes back to that sharper focus image that we used where you know, years ago, people would wonder how are these things going to be possible?
- 46:28How's it possible for a global government?
- 46:30How's it possible to watch everybody and to control the whole world with one government?
- 46:37And now we're seeing with the camera equipment.
- 46:40I mean, you can buy cameras for your house that have facial recognition capabilities and all these kinds of things.
- 46:47And uh I know during the recent Super Bowl, they had a commercial that uh saying that lost pets could be found with ring doorbell and those kinds of things, and people started scratching their heads saying, does that mean that somebody can just whenever they want to log into my doorbell and look and see who's out there?
- 47:04And and so there's a lot of questions that do the surveillance state that these AI capabilities could allow.
- 47:11Yeah, you know, they you know, the that one of the more recent executive orders were allowing the the uh data centers to create their own power sources so that they didn't have to suck off the grid.
- 47:22You know, I want to get back to your book here because there's a chapter that you have because we've mentioned you know, um, end times so much in our conversation, because that's really that's really what your book is about.
- 47:33Yes, is the rise of one world mind that I would really really advocate all the listeners to pick up a uh a copy of this book because like you said, it's it's not real long, but it's really packed.
- 47:46And you have on page 105 of this book, you have a table that defines the difference between the rapture and the second coming.
- 47:55And I've never really seen, and you have each each side documented with scripture.
- 48:00I've never really seen this type of explanation before, which was really, really good.
- 48:05And um, is there can you give us a little more deeper explanation about that?
- 48:10The difference between the rapture and the second coming.
- 48:13Yes, they really are two separate events.
- 48:15If you read the scriptures carefully and closely, I believe that the proper approach to understanding scripture is the literal approach, and there's biblical precedent for that to go back to Daniel.
- 48:28Uh, when Daniel is in captivity in Daniel chapter number nine, he discovers Jeremiah's prophecy.
- 48:36So they must have had the scriptures there in Babylon, and he reads that 70 years were determined by Jeremiah.
- 48:42That goes back to Jeremiah chapter 29.
- 48:45And when you fast forward to Daniel's day, he reads that prophecy and he says, 70 years.
- 48:51There's coming an end to this Babylonian captivity.
- 48:54He understood it in a literal manner.
- 48:56He didn't say, well, one of these days we're going to get out of here.
- 48:59He understood the 70 years to literally mean 70 years.
- 49:0070 years to literally mean 70 years.
- 49:02And that set him in motion to seek the face of God in Daniel chapter 9, a powerful, powerful prayer.
- 49:02And that set him in motion to seek the face of God in Daniel chapter 9, a powerful, powerful prayer.
- 49:10And so I believe that we need to understand the scriptures in a literal manner.
- 49:10And so I believe that we need to understand the scriptures in a literal manner.
- 49:14And so when you come to passages that talk about the rapture of the church, First Thessalonians chapter four, for instance, when it talks about that we will be caught up.
- 49:14And so when you come to passages that talk about the rapture of the church, First Thessalonians chapter 4, for instance, when it talks about that we will be caught up.
- 49:23That's where we get the word rapture from the catching up.
- 49:23That's where we get the word rapture from the catching up.
- 49:26Uh the the Greek word there is harpodza.
- 49:27The Greek word there is har podzo, that RP sound, har podzo.
- 49:33It came into the Latin for rapturo, and then that comes into the English for rapture.
- 49:39So it's got that RP element all the way back to the Greek language of our New Testament.
- 49:45And so the catching up talks about to meet the Lord in the air.
- 49:50Now at the second coming, Christ comes for at the rapture, Christ comes for his saints to meet us in the air.
- 50:00At the second coming, he comes with his saints to the earth.
- 50:03In the second coming, he's coming with judgment and with war.
- 50:08And there's so many other differences between these two events that the scripture bears out in many different places.
- 50:15So these are two unique events.
- 50:18If you read the scriptures literally and understand what it's saying piece by piece.
- 50:36That there's there's discrepancies between the pre-trib rapture, the tri, you know, mid-trib rapture, you know, uh where's this whole event going to happen?
- 50:48And I personally don't think that it really matters.
- 50:51At the end of the day, we end up with the Lord sometime, and we're going to have to go through some difficult things in the meantime.
- 50:59But what can we do or what should we be doing in the meantime until the rapture comes whenever it comes on that timeline?
- 51:06And how do we withstand the enormous pressures of our age right now?
- 51:12I keep going back to Daniel, but remember what we said earlier, how that he stood in his generation.
- 51:18So we have to make that determination to stand firm.
- 51:21But there's other biblical characters that I point out in the book, people like David.
- 51:25When David stood against Goliath, he stood in the power of the Lord.
- 51:30You know, we don't fight this battle in our own strength.
- 51:32We stand in the Lord's power.
- 51:35And Moses is actually a negative example that I point out in the book, because when God called Moses at 80 years old to get off the sidelines, get back into the game.
- 51:46What did Moses do when God appeared to him at the burning bush?
- 51:50He just offered excuse after excuse after excuse why he couldn't do it.
- 51:54I can't do it.
- 51:55I can't do it.
- 51:55I can't do it.
- 51:56And God, the scripture says God became angry with Moses at that time.
- 52:02And so as Christians, we need to get off the sidelines and get into the game and stand firm in these days and understand where we are.
- 52:12And as I mentioned earlier with Noah, that we have a responsibility to get out God's message.
- 52:17God's given us that window of time.
- 52:20And here in the United States of America, our freedom of speech is being protected in this current moment.
- 52:25How long will that be the case?
- 52:28Uh with the kinds of things that we've talked about, we don't know.
- 52:32But while we have this window, we need to be doing everything that we can to get out the gospel message.
- 52:37You know, 2 Peter 3 9 is a verse that I often go to because it says that God isn't willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.
- 52:46And that's why God is giving us a window of time.
- 52:50That's why he gave Noah's generation a window of time.
- 52:54They gave him those 100 years or so that the scripture speaks about while the ark was being built to uh get right with God.
- 53:02And so as the church, we have an urgent message that the world needs to hear.
- 53:06And the gospel is that urgent message that we need to proclaim loud and clear.
- 53:11And if I could just add one more quick warning here, too, for those that don't know the Lord.
- 53:16This is what concerns me is that a lot of people may follow our conversation when we're talking about globalism, when we're talking about all these different avenues, and they can open their eyes to the realities of globalism, they can stand against AI and the onslaught of all the different things that may be coming.
- 53:34But if their heart's not right with God, what does it value them if if they survive whatever is to come and then they end up dying and dropping into eternity without the Lord Jesus Christ as their savior?
- 53:47And to me, that's a very sad state.
- 53:49And so I would encourage people don't just open your eyes to the threats of globalism, find the real answer who is Jesus Christ and turn to him for salvation.
- 53:59That's the ultimate hope that we have in all of this.
- 54:02It's not just hope of survival.
- 54:04That's why I gave the subtitle, How to Thrive Under the Threat of Globalism.
- 54:09It's not how to survive, it's how to thrive in this current moment.
- 54:14And that begins with faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.
- 54:18Well said.
- 54:19Well said, and I think that's a good concluding point on our conversation today.
- 54:23We've got about two minutes left.
- 54:25I want you to tell people where they can find your book, because I think this is a really, really important book.
- 54:31This sort of wraps up a whole bunch of conversations about end times in one place, where they can best find your book and where else they can follow your work.
- 54:39Yes, yeah.
- 54:40If they type in rise of the one worldmind.com, it'll take people directly to the place on our ministry website where they can purchase the book and find out more information about it.
- 54:52Again, it's Riseoftheoneworldmind.com.
- 54:56Our ministry website is SWRC.com, SWRC.com.
- 55:03Well, I think that's just wonderful.
- 55:04You know, Josh, this has been a just a wonderful conversation with here today about really important topics that affect all of us in these end times.
- 55:14And I think it's really, really important.
- 55:16Um, and you you concluded with the perfect statement, you know, none of this matters unless you have a real fellowship with the Lord Jesus, not just a relationship, not just like yeah, I know him, but a real fellowship that you really know him.
- 55:31And I think that that's really, really important.
- 55:34So with that, I want to close out with one of the favorite verses from the Bible.
- 55:37I close all of my podcasts with, whether they are live or prerecorded, which is Romans 12, 12.
- 55:43Rejoice in hope, be patient in trouble, because trouble will come and be persistent in prayer.
- 55:49Remember to lean into God, trust him for everything.
- 55:51He will never let you down.
- 55:53His timeline may not be your timeline.
- 55:55You may be want it today.
- 55:56He sees the bigger picture, you know, he stand by him, he will never let you down.
