- 0:47In April, we're coming up on eleven years, folks man. Nobody's
- 0:50been doing it longer here in the world of Philly sports. I am Jeff
- 0:53Warren. We got a great Opposition Territory podcast coming your way this week.
- 0:57I gotta tell you, it's intriguing to follow what the Super Bowl champions are
- 1:02gonna be doing during this off season. Free agency is right around the corner,
- 1:06The draft is around the corner. This team is a dynasty, Yes,
- 1:10the Kansas City Chiefs, I'm talking about, folks, A new dynasty
- 1:14is here in front of our faces. What are they gonna do to remain
- 1:18the top seed, the top team in the NFL. We are gonna get
- 1:23into a great discussion. So let's get to it and joining us from Arrowhead
- 1:26Pride, Yes, Arrowheadpride dot com. He is one of our favorites that
- 1:30we love to bring on our Opposition Territory podcast to get into this Kansas City
- 1:34Chiefs team the off season how they can and perhaps will remain dominant within the
- 1:42NFL. We've got the one and only Ron copp Junior. Ron Buddy,
- 1:46How you doing, man? Thanks for jumping on, Jeff, Thanks for
- 1:49having me, Man. I feel like I'm jumping in on a pretty you
- 1:53know, busy time for y'all. You know, the Jasey Kelsey retirement drop
- 1:56today. I don't know when this is dropping, but it'll be tomorrow.
- 2:00Yeah. Hey, you know there's Chiefs connections there, so maybe it does
- 2:02make sense. You know, absolutely it all fits together. Yeah. Absolutely.
- 2:06Well, look, you guys are riding high right now. You're riding
- 2:08high because I mean, of course, Chiefs coming off a Super Bowl and
- 2:14you know, just coming off a season where there was a little trepidation some
- 2:17questions being asked with regard to the Chief's team about how they were going to
- 2:23perform when we saw that they were underperforming in certain points of the season.
- 2:28So at the end of the day, they win the Super Bowl, they
- 2:30certainly can be called the dynasty at this point in time. We had the
- 2:35Patriots for years, and now Andy Reid has taken this Kansas City Chiefs team
- 2:40to that next level, to that echelon ron. So I wanted to get
- 2:45into, like from or I should say, aside from a pure jubilation standpoint
- 2:50of where Chiefs Nation is right now, what are the vibes moving forward with
- 2:54the Chiefs as they approached this offseason knowing that the pressure is now on for
- 3:00this organization, knowing that they want to continue with this dynasty. So what
- 3:04are the vibes here at this point. It's it's energy. I really do
- 3:07think it's it's everyone's kind of there's like this new boost. You know.
- 3:10I think sometimes after a long season, you know, football can be a
- 3:14long season, and it's like, man, you know you need a little
- 3:15break after you know, after twenty games and you know you need a little
- 3:20maybe content break or you know, break from your social media apps. But
- 3:23no, I mean it's just been full go since they won the Super Bowl.
- 3:28Because there is a chance at history, right the three peat has never
- 3:30been done in NFL history, and we haven't even seen it be attempted since
- 3:35the Patriots and O five before before you know, this whole passing era,
- 3:38before this whole even social media era. It's just so foreign to us that
- 3:42a team is on the doorstep of getting to a three peat. And I
- 3:46think we all are kind of feeling you kind of put like pressure right,
- 3:49like right, it is pressure, but it's but it's this it's it's this
- 3:52fun challenge that it's like, Okay, how are they going to do it?
- 3:53You know, how can they piece together this three peat team? You
- 3:57know, are they going to you know, go heavy on offense to kind
- 4:00of overcompensate, or you know, hey, are they gonna say, look
- 4:01what worked last year work? You know, hey, are they gonna get
- 4:04Chris Jones l Jerious need back find a way to do that and go.
- 4:08So there's a lot of different avenues, but it's just exciting. I think
- 4:11we're all just and I think the team's feeling it too. I mean,
- 4:13Mahomes mentioned three peat right after the game on the podium. He did,
- 4:15I think I think the team is an andy. I mean, I think
- 4:18they're all just. I think they kind of see the challenge ahead of him.
- 4:21I think we all do, and it's kind of an exciting, just
- 4:25kind of a fun offseason, just kind of seeing what they're gonna do,
- 4:27how much they're going to attack the chance for a repeat. You mentioned Patrick
- 4:30Mahomes, You mentioned how he talked about the potential three peat, you know,
- 4:34on the podium after winning the Super Bowl. He is undoubtedly, as
- 4:40we know, one of the greatest quarterbacks to play the game, and barring
- 4:45any long term injury, I mean, he's gonna be in this league.
- 4:47He's gonna be with this Kansas City Chiefs team for a little while longer,
- 4:50breaking records and certainly putting his face on that Mount Rushmore of quarterbacks. Ron
- 4:58He's certainly not a perfect quarter back by any stretch, and we saw a
- 5:00bit of that this season. However, again being able to win the Super
- 5:04Bowl, the perseverance is quite remarkable. So after seeing some of that up
- 5:10and down play from him this past season, where does he need to focus
- 5:14his attention on his game this coming year? And again for a quarterback that's
- 5:19getting ready to be on that Mount Rushmore, Maybe hard to say what he
- 5:24needs to hone in on in terms of his game, but where does he
- 5:27need to focus his attention given some of those ups and downs he had this
- 5:30year. Well, it plays into the improvements they need to make in the
- 5:34passing game in general. They need guys that are going to be difference makers
- 5:39down the field, and just last year they truly just did not. You
- 5:42know, I saw MBS get open those two times, and I know we'll
- 5:46talk about him, but we are no. This deep passing game for the
- 5:48Chiefs has been non existent for since, you know, not even since Tyreek
- 5:53left before that, you know, Tyreek's last season, that twenty twenty one
- 5:57season was the last time we really saw these similar struggles, and so I
- 6:00really really like to see them, you know, give him the ability to
- 6:03improve his downfield passing ability, because I do think the thing with it,
- 6:08Jeff about you know, you kind of hear Mahomes and we have the big
- 6:11arm. We all know he has a huge arm. He can throw at
- 6:13seventy whatever yards. But I think he doesn't get tested or he doesn't he
- 6:17has been so you know, accustomed or so trained to you know, get
- 6:21good at the intermediate the short stuff. I don't know how much he trains
- 6:25his deep accuracy anymore. And I do think it's something we kind of talk
- 6:29about it almost it's almost a joke, but it's kind of serious where I
- 6:31don't know how accurate he is down the field, you know, when he
- 6:33is throwing super deep bombs. I think there's a lot of times you do
- 6:36see him, you know, really hesitate to just let it loose and let
- 6:41a guy to get under it. It might be because of the chemistry he's
- 6:43had with receivers, you know, the lack of lack of or just the
- 6:46talent you know again, you know, I think they could improve that this
- 6:49offseason. But all about to say is like I think that is the one
- 6:53part of his game that I think he could really improve on as being,
- 6:56you know, a more accurate down the field thrower. I'm talking, you
- 6:59know, twenty thirty yards down the field in tight windows. You know,
- 7:01we've seen him make those throws. I'm not saying he hasn't, but I
- 7:04think I think there's something too. It hasn't. It doesn't come in volumes
- 7:08like it may should. It maybe should if you're Patrick Mahomes. I think
- 7:13that's very interesting because I cannot tell you how many times we saw that Chiefs
- 7:16team on national television, and I gotta tell you Ron time and time again.
- 7:21I was thinking to myself, how is it that they're not getting the
- 7:24ball down the field further perhaps thirty yards forty yards taking those shots on first
- 7:29and ten? How and why is it not happening. Yes, they have
- 7:32a prolific running game with Isaiah Pacheco in the back backfield. We're gonna get
- 7:36to that in a little bit. And then I'm like, Okay, not
- 7:40the strongest receiving corps. Rachie Rice very very good receiver, good in terms
- 7:45of his intermediate route running, for sure, But I was thinking to myself
- 7:48a lot, how in the world are they not going down the field again
- 7:53forty yards on first and ten. It was pretty remarkable to see. And
- 7:57then we see whether it's mvs and that we see some dropped passes here or
- 8:01there, or just some inaccuracies. I think it's fascinating that you mentioned that,
- 8:05and how it may all coordinate or correlate, I should say together,
- 8:09because you know, I remember last year when you were on the show with
- 8:11us, we talked about how the Chiefs wide receiver corps was a bit weak
- 8:15and what you wanted to see from them, you know, this past season
- 8:18here and even though it was a you know, quote week unit on the
- 8:22team. I'm wondering, how do you assess their productivity this past year and
- 8:26really what needs to happen with the unit in the future. Keeping in mind,
- 8:31you know, they did release Marcus Valdez Scantling. We've got the news
- 8:33about that, of course, but correlating what you were just talking about with
- 8:37Patrick Mahomes and this receiver corps, what really needs to happen with this receiver
- 8:41corp. I'm assuming there's gonna be some acquisitions and free agency, perhaps the
- 8:46draft. What are your thoughts here? Yeah, the funny thing going into
- 8:50twenty twenty four is that the receiving corps is all under contract, Like they
- 8:54really didn't have to make any moves if they didn't want to. You know,
- 8:56MVS Canarius, Tony justin Austin sky Moore, you know, McCole Harbin's
- 9:03really the only one that was gone from the the core receiving at the end
- 9:07of the year. So it's funny, like, you know, a lot
- 9:09of us are are ready for a complete turnover. They don't really have to
- 9:13do it now they are going to MVS is gone. I imagine you'll see
- 9:16Tony cut at some point, even though he has three million guaranteed. I
- 9:20just feel like he's too unreliable the season. He actually did kind of get
- 9:22benched towards the end of the season. He called it an injury, but
- 9:26it really was. You know, he wasn't around the team as much anymore.
- 9:30I think they were just kind of over the unreliability, the inconsistencies.
- 9:33So that gives them some room to shake it up this offseason and give them,
- 9:37you know, a chance to make a huge addition, because the thing
- 9:39with mvs Jeff is that he wasn't making He wasn't making a lot of production
- 9:46last year, right in terms of the stats catches, but he was running
- 9:48a lot of routes and he was running a lot of snaps, and they
- 9:52can fill that that who you know, who he was as a as a
- 9:56player in the offense with a better player, and that could all of a
- 9:58sudden be guy that's that's you know, catching for fifteen hundred yards or you
- 10:01know, you know that's probably a little high, but you know something in
- 10:05the thousand yard range where you can put a legit number one receiver in that
- 10:09spot instead of someone that's maybe you know, MBS is a role player.
- 10:11He's proven that. He proved that in Kansas City, and so I'm excited
- 10:13to see who they're going to attack Hi that way because I think you have
- 10:16a draft class at the top this year, very strong at the receiver position.
- 10:20I think you'll see Brett Viach be aggressive in that sense. But you
- 10:24also have some guys in free agency too. I think Calvin Ridley, you
- 10:26know, from the Jaguars, someone I'm intrigued with. That could be.
- 10:31You know, I was intrigued with Mike Evans, but we heard that he
- 10:33is going back to Tampa. Unfortunately, I was ready to use the get
- 10:37the the Tom Brady Randy Moss comparisons for the Mike Evans Patrick Mahomes you know,
- 10:41when when that happened, that linked up, I was ready for that.
- 10:45But Michael Pittman, I think we'd be fantastic honestly on the chief see
- 10:48like Michael Pittman, I think would be a fantastic addition based on route running
- 10:52and based on where Patrick Mahomes is with his game right now. A lot
- 10:54of those intermediate routes we were talking about earlier that the Chiefs have been really
- 10:58imploring a lot within the I think Michael pittm would be fantastic in that regard,
- 11:03right. I just think a number one receiver of any kind, just
- 11:05someone that that's going to give them, you know, a difference making ability.
- 11:09I would like to see them be aggressive in that sense, whether that
- 11:13is through the draft of free agency. But at the same time, you
- 11:16know there is other other roles to fill in the receiving course. So I
- 11:18think you could see double dip, whether it is you know, a big
- 11:22time free agent and then you know a pretty high pick in the draft,
- 11:24or maybe even two high picks in the draft, or you know, maybe
- 11:28a high pick in the draft and a value free agent. The Chiefs are
- 11:31going to double dip. I imagine a receiver and I imagine you're going to
- 11:33see guys that are again someone that's gonna win on the perimeter on the outside,
- 11:37but also guys are gonna win downfield. I think they really need to
- 11:39unlock that ability because, like you mentioned Rashi Rice and obviously Travis Kelcey,
- 11:43those guys are gonna win at the intermediate routes. You need guys that are
- 11:48gonna give them even more space by winning deep. Absolutely, again, folks,
- 11:52we're talking to Ron cop Junior. Follow him on Twitter at Ron underscore
- 11:54cop Kopp. He is a fantastic follow to get all your Chiefs news and
- 12:01lots of little tidbits here and there throughout Chiefs Nation and the NFL in general.
- 12:05He's a great, great follow And again Arrowhead Pride dot Com. You
- 12:09know we love our SB Nation sites. And as we're moving along here,
- 12:13I'm wondering how the Chiefs run should or could potentially bolster the running back position
- 12:18this coming season, if that's even in their plans. I mean, Isaiah
- 12:22Pacheco, He's been a really nice running back for this team. He's that
- 12:26number one starter for them for sure, But the Chiefs offense doesn't. They
- 12:30don't appear to have that dual threat running back Jerrick McKinnon didn't necessarily, I
- 12:35think, really fit that mold to too well with the team. Maybe they
- 12:37didn't use him as much just in terms of what I saw in terms of
- 12:41the eye test throughout this season. What are your thoughts on what they should
- 12:46or shouldn't do with the running back position this particular offseason. No, I
- 12:52think it's definitely more of a need than I think on the surface. You
- 12:54know, most people would look at it and be like, oh, yeah,
- 12:56they got Pachecko. They have a lead back and he's rowing into the
- 13:00position. But you know, this Chiefs team has always used multiple running backs
- 13:03and you saw it with Jarack McKinnon last year. Not this year, right,
- 13:07but last year he had all those touchdowns you know, in the stretches
- 13:11in that stretch down the season, like nine touchdowns in the red zone or
- 13:13something. I mean, they absolutely have a role for a kind of a
- 13:16pass down back, because that's the other thing with Pacheco. You know,
- 13:20he is an inconsistent pass blocker. There are times where he can he'll body
- 13:24a guy and really show his aggressiveness like he does as a runner, but
- 13:28that kind of you know, that kind of aggressiveness at the same time can
- 13:31be inconsistent and lead to maybe a whiff and then and then Mahomes is in
- 13:33trouble. That's happened at times. So they absolutely need someone to compliment him.
- 13:39And that's where, you know, going back to the receiver talk,
- 13:41Jeff like, it's not just the receivers that you could see get a shake
- 13:46up. It's really just the entire skill position group for the Chiefs. I
- 13:48think you could see them maybe even attack another tight end to fit with Kelsey,
- 13:52but also this running back position. I really do think you could see
- 13:54them get you know, maybe a legit name and free agency. You know,
- 13:58these running backs don't cost too much to get and even some of these
- 14:03running backs, you know, may even be okay with our right one year
- 14:05prove it deal. You know, I just want to get to a really,
- 14:07really good team and be the star of the show, like a DeAndre
- 14:09Swift. You know, he was on the Eagles last Year's somebody's going to
- 14:13bring up with you Yeah, yeah, you know he's he's probably looking for
- 14:16a little pay day if he can get it, because he definitely showed out
- 14:18for Philly right he was. He was definitely a guy that, you know,
- 14:20compared to what he was in that Detroit I think his value has gone
- 14:22up since that time. But at the same time, you know, could
- 14:26he just say, you know, could someone like that or you know something
- 14:28you know, Saquon Barkley, I know he's probably gonna want to get paid
- 14:31too. But there's guys and and in the draft as well. So I
- 14:35do think you're right that the Chiefs do need to attack specifically a guy that
- 14:37can be a pass catcher, be a pass protector as well, but but
- 14:43maybe multiple guys too. I think you could see them maybe get a couple
- 14:46of guys, you know, if it's a draft pick and a value free
- 14:48agent, but there will definitely be guys complimenting Pacheco and maybe even eating into
- 14:52snaps next year at the running running back position. I find it absolutely enthralling
- 14:56and just completely u I'm enamored by the fact that a Super Bowl team could
- 15:01be looking at bolstering the skill positions like we're talking about here, and I
- 15:05had a feeling our conversation may actually go in that direction, and it's just
- 15:09it's it's astounding, but in a in a positive way. It shows how
- 15:16good the coaching staff is. It shows how good the front office has been
- 15:20in terms of decision making over the past few years. It goes to show
- 15:24that the right decisions are being made for this organization. And it's it's absolutely
- 15:30entrolling to actually think about for this coming season, the fact that the Kansas
- 15:33City Chiefs may be looking to get more skill position players because it may be
- 15:39something of need. But on the opposite side of the ball, move over
- 15:41to the defense here, I mean there's definitely gonna be some areas the front
- 15:46office is going to need to focus on during this offseason. So I'm wondering,
- 15:48Ron, like, what are your top that say, top two areas
- 15:52of need when it comes to really addressing this Chief's defense in the future,
- 15:56whether it's through free agency the draft. I mean, what are your thoughts
- 15:58here? No, I think it all starts upfront and the trenches for the
- 16:03Chiefs. If you look at their depth chart next year. As of right
- 16:07now, they have one defensive tackle under contract, and it's Mike Panell who
- 16:11or not, excuse me, not Mike Panell, Neil fail, Neil Ferrell.
- 16:14Mike Panell is the vet Super Bowl hero. Neil Ferrell is the young
- 16:18buck Neil nose tackle from a few years ago the Raiders drafted and so nobody.
- 16:23He played sixty snaps for US this year. So you're talking about a
- 16:26defensive tackle room that really needs Chris Jones back. Yes, And if that
- 16:30deal doesn't get done, you're talking about you need a nose tackle, you
- 16:33need a three tech penetrator, you need depth at both of those positions.
- 16:37I mean you're talking about, you know, multiple multiple ads. So I
- 16:40think I really think defensive tackle is the main need for the Chiefs defense this
- 16:44year, even if they do get Chris Jones back, because they will need
- 16:45a starting nose tackle. You know, all their guys are are are are
- 16:49leaving in free agency, and there are some you know, interesting free agent
- 16:53names you know out there, like a Greg Gaines, you know, is
- 16:57a good nose tackle out there for free agents. But all that to say
- 17:00is it's that position. But then you just go outside and it's the defensive
- 17:04end position too, as crazy as it is to say, because they have
- 17:07spent their last two first round picks on the defensive end position George Carloftis and
- 17:11Felix and Udique Ozama Charles Amenehu towards ACL and the AFC Championship, and that
- 17:18really is going to set him back in terms of, you know, you're
- 17:21not really going to expect him to take the field maybe until the start of
- 17:25next season, and that's being optimistic. And so when you think about it
- 17:29like that, this team really does just have Carl Offtis and then last year's
- 17:33first round pick, who you know, is a developmental project to me in
- 17:36my opinion, and so this team really just needs to add to the trenches.
- 17:40You know, I really do want to see a Chris Jones deal get
- 17:41done. It sounds like we're getting towards that. It sounds like a lugerious
- 17:45need trade might happen and a Chris Jones deal is going to get done,
- 17:48and then you may see them kind of add around Chris Jones on in the
- 17:52trenches. But but yeah, I don't be surprised if if you know,
- 17:55we're all talking about roide receiver for the Chiefs in round one and all of
- 17:57a sudden, the Chiefs pick this buyer Murphy kid from Texas who looks like
- 18:00a freaking stud yep, or just one of these guys you know from the
- 18:04defensive tackle room at the top, or even make a move to get him,
- 18:08because I really think the Chiefs understand how important it is to win the
- 18:11trenches. And again, if they don't get the Chris Jones deal done,
- 18:15they're really going to have to do a lot of work up front to be
- 18:18to have a competent line next year. So I really think it all starts
- 18:22up front in the trenches. Their secondary as young they're back in his very
- 18:26young talented I think they can kind of, you know, sit on what
- 18:29they got there and really focus on the front, the front four. Really,
- 18:32I think they need to do that, not just for next season,
- 18:33but even the season after too. I mean, they really need to start
- 18:37getting some depth, quite frankly, and I could see this being a very
- 18:41heavy defensive draft for the Kansas City Chiefs for sure. So as we close
- 18:47out our discussion here, Ron, I got to ask you, because you
- 18:51know, it was one of those, you know, hot storylines. You
- 18:53know, this past week when the NFL Players Association they came out with their
- 18:57report cards for each team, and I'm going through and I'm reading through every
- 19:02one of them, and it was surprising to me how the Chiefs were graded
- 19:06just so poorly in certain areas. I couldn't believe it, Like the player's
- 19:11major concerns with like the lack of renovations at the at facilities and whether it's
- 19:17the locker room, I mean family, treatment and nutrition were graded really really
- 19:22poorly. I think like D and F or somewhere around there. The training
- 19:26staff received in F grade. And I'm thinking, this is a Super Bowl
- 19:30champion, this is a dynasty here. What is going on? How do
- 19:33you what do you make of these grades? Really? What are you making
- 19:36these grades in this entire exercise with the NFL Players Association report cards? I
- 19:41kind of think it's ridiculous. Every now and again, I think there's some
- 19:45legitimacy in terms of storylines that you hear about during the course of the season
- 19:48with certain teams and how their facilities kind of stink here and there. But
- 19:52I don't know what are your thoughts here with these report cards and with the
- 19:56chiefs grades here. Yeah they are. They were shocking, but not as
- 20:00as much because last year the first time they did it right. The year
- 20:03before, we were almost just as bad, I think, But I think
- 20:07it was worse this year. And really the worst one was the THO was
- 20:11Clark Khant getting the F minus tied with just one other owner for the worst
- 20:15grade given to an owner. And you know, I think the funny part
- 20:19about it was that it came out as he was holding a press conference announcing
- 20:23these renovations to Arahead because we're having a whole thing here where our baseball stadium's
- 20:27move in, so Ara had been expanding and and he's kind of it just
- 20:32it just happened to come out as soon as he was giving his own public
- 20:34address so it wasn't the greatest timing for him. It's it's been a battle
- 20:37for Clark. But uh, but it's really because the scoop here is that
- 20:41the Chiefs were promised after when when in the Super Bowl last year, the
- 20:45players were promised an upgraded practice facility in terms of the locker room, not
- 20:49the game locker room. The game locker room has been upgraded, but but
- 20:52you know, they don't spend their time there. They spend their time in
- 20:53the practice you know, where their practice facility is, and uh was not
- 20:57upgraded. In fact, the only think they got were seatback chairs instead of
- 21:02stools. Was was the kind of the famous line that's been going around here
- 21:06is that that was what you know, they were promised a new thing,
- 21:08and when they got there, that's the only thing that was you know,
- 21:14yeah, hey, right, they're they're they're helping something. But no,
- 21:17I I think it's it's interesting because I I'll give you a little scoop here
- 21:21too that, uh my, I have a buddy who's a practice squad player
- 21:25for the Chiefs. He was he was with them for the entire Super Bowl
- 21:26run, and I kind of asked him about these two. It was like,
- 21:30what do you make of this? And he was he was like,
- 21:33we don't even have a nutritionist on staff. The Chiefs have have no nutritionists.
- 21:37And he actually, I know because he was in Jacksonville on their practice
- 21:41squad beforehand and they had four nutritionists on staff. And he was like,
- 21:47he was like, yeah, I I couldn't believe it either, But I
- 21:49guess that just this is kind of what speaks to maybe some of the stuff
- 21:52with Clark Hunn is that he might not invest into the team as much as
- 21:56as maybe we realized. And you know, it has you know, these
- 21:59kind of things are good to get public because it might spur some change.
- 22:02It might you know, spur Clark to you know, put a little more
- 22:04money into the facilities, especially when you know, hey, I'm a season
- 22:07ticket holder, I know how much the tickets are going up. I think
- 22:11he can. I think I think they're doing just fine so they can iron
- 22:15an eighty thousand dollars nutritionists or something. Yes, I know, I know.
- 22:18I that was shocking. You know, you just think it was just
- 22:21they were just bad, But apparently they just have none and that's why it
- 22:23was great at death. So yeah, so I think I think you'll hopefully
- 22:29you'll see that improved next year, because I there's no way Clark can you
- 22:32know, it's it's an ego thing, right, there's no way he's gonna
- 22:34want that to be an F minus next year. Again. Yeah, absolutely,
- 22:38all right, Well again, folks. Ron Coop from Arrowhead Pride dot
- 22:41com follow my Twitter slash x ron underscore cop Kopp is a great, great
- 22:48follow, my friend. It is always great talking to you, Always great
- 22:51talking about this Chiefs team, and I'd love to have you on at some
- 22:53point down the road. Talk more NFL, talk more Chiefs, my friend.
- 22:57Yes, sir, yeah, you know, Chiefs and Eagles, I
- 23:00mean two of the Ugh, let's talk about teams. We got plenty to
- 23:03talk about around here, so yeah, let's do it, Jeff, thanks
- 23:06for having me. It really is astonishing to me how terrible those grades were
- 23:11for the Kansas City Chiefs. I mean, Andy Reid got an A.
- 23:14I think he was like the only only like A grade that the NFL Players
- 23:18Association folks that were doing those grades for the Chiefs like, I think that
- 23:22was the only A grade. I mean, it goes to show the type
- 23:25of culture Andy Reid has been able to implement out in Kansas City, and
- 23:30we know that better than anybody else in the Eagles Nation, how how great
- 23:33of a coach he is, and what he has meant to the NFL.
- 23:37So I guess that's not a surprise at all. But it was great talking
- 23:41to Ron, and we're certainly gonna follow what this Kansas City Chiefs team is
- 23:44gonna be doing during the offseason. Again, like I said, I can't
- 23:47wait to talk to Ron at some point down the road, reconnect with him.
- 23:51But with that being said, that's gonna do it for us here on
