- 0:00Speaker 1: H close your eyes and make yourself comfortable. Take a
- 0:31deep breath in through your nose and slowly and gently
- 0:38breathe out through your mouth. Again, take a deep breath
- 0:45in through your nose and slowly and gently breathe out
- 0:52through your mouth. One more time, take a deep breath
- 0:59in through your nose and slowly and gently breathe out
- 1:07through your mouth. And with each breath you take, you
- 1:12feel calmer and more peaceful, And you are breathing in
- 1:18pure peacefulness, and you are breathing out all of the
- 1:23next thoughts that you've been carrying around that you don't
- 1:26need anymore. Just bring your breathing back to its normal rhythm.
- 1:34Just relax, Just follow the rhythm of your breath without
- 1:42changing it in any way at all. Pay attention to
- 1:48the thoughts in your mind, listen to them, and then
- 1:54just let them go. I go of your chatter in mind,
- 2:02let go of all the thoughts you no longer need,
- 2:08Let go of all your worries, and let go of
- 2:12anything that bothers you in any way. Just be you.
- 2:20Simply lie there and just be you, and just let
- 2:26go of the need to be anywhere, Let go of
- 2:29the need to be anyone and just let over the
- 2:33need to be anything at all, Just be you and
- 2:41enjoy the luxury after being no time, no tiktoks of clocks,
- 2:49no way you have to be. Just let go of
- 2:53all the stuff that you usually carry around with you.
- 2:57Just let it all go and just be the wonderful,
- 3:01amazing you. Now imagine the beautiful special rainbow floating just
- 3:11above your head, and you can see the purples and
- 3:14the blues. You can see the greens and the yellows,
- 3:19the oranges and the reds, and maybe you can even
- 3:23see some gold and silver too. See how it shines
- 3:28so brightly, See the beautiful colors, and it's like the
- 3:35colors are alive. That's because they are. Can you see them?
- 3:46Each time you breathe out, this beautiful rainbow grows larger
- 3:52and larger, and it starts to gently wash over you,
- 3:58helping you to relax. And you can actually feel the
- 4:03colors washing over your body. Can you feel it? Can
- 4:09you feel how warm it is? How it makes your
- 4:12skin tingle just a little bit everywhere the colors touched you.
- 4:19You feel yourself relaxing deeper and deeper, and you feel
- 4:24so peaceful, so calm, and so very relaxed. As you
- 4:34breathe in this beautiful rainbow light makes you feel so
- 4:38safe and protected, and you feel so loved. That's because
- 4:45you are safe, You are loved, and you are protected.
- 4:52Always in front of you is a flower filled with daffodils,
- 5:03all different shades of yellow, and all shimmering in the sunlight.
- 5:09And you watch as they raise their heads up to
- 5:12the sunlight, drawing all that they need, all of it
- 5:18from the sun, the warmth to grow and to stretch themselves,
- 5:24the light to raise themselves higher still, and they are
- 5:29surrounded by the light, just as you are. The yellow
- 5:36white rays of the sun lifts you up too, and
- 5:40you can feel your spirits rising. You can feel the
- 5:45inspiring rays of the sun shining down on your body,
- 5:50and you can feel the joy begin to enter your heart,
- 5:55and you feel ever so happy. You see many other
- 6:01different types of flowers, all swaying gently in the cool,
- 6:06calm breeze, all lifting their heads towards the sunlight, just
- 6:12like you, And you realize you can hear running water,
- 6:21so you stand off to see where it's coming from,
- 6:25and you walk along the gravel pathway towards the sound
- 6:30and As you draw closer to it, you see before
- 6:33you a wonderful, shallow stream, and the water was so
- 6:39clear and so inviting. You could even see tiny colorful
- 6:44fish as they swim on by. And there are rocks
- 6:50in the stream of yours, and the sound you heard
- 6:55is the water flowing around and over them. The sun
- 7:01is shining on the water, and it looks like a
- 7:04thousand stars are bouncing all over it, and it's so beautiful.
- 7:12And you decide to sit down on the bank by
- 7:15the stream for just a while, just to relax and
- 7:19just drift with your thoughts. And you gaze into the water,
- 7:25feeling so peaceful, so calm, so relaxed. It's lovely. As
- 7:37you sit there, each thought that you have, just let
- 7:42it go, place it into the water, and watch it
- 7:47as it washes away. And you watch as the thought
- 7:51just gently sails off into the distance, bouncing along the
- 7:57ripples of the water until out of sight. It's quite
- 8:02funny to watch. Really. When you have another thought, just
- 8:07do the same thing again and watch it as it
- 8:11sails off into the distance. And while you've been sitting
- 8:16here just thinking your little thoughts, you suddenly notice sitting
- 8:23beside you is a little brown dug He has his
- 8:28eyes closed, and you notice his lovely shiny brown feathers.
- 8:34You can even see some water drops on his folded wings,
- 8:40and you wonder what he's doing. He opens his little
- 8:46brown eyes and looks at you, and he tells you
- 8:50that his name is Marvin, and that he comes here
- 8:53every day at the same time, just to meditate by
- 8:58the stream. He says he likes to think of all
- 9:01the things he is grateful for in his life, and
- 9:05he likes to say thank you out loud because it
- 9:09makes him feel really, really good. He asks you you
- 9:15would like to join him and be grateful with him. Well,
- 9:19you say yes, but you're not really sure what you
- 9:23have to do, So Marvin explains. Marvin tells you that
- 9:31all you have to do is think of all the
- 9:34things you are grateful for, things like your parents, your friends,
- 9:40your pets, the ice cream that you ate last week,
- 9:44your lovely soft bed, your new school bag to carry
- 9:48your books, anything at all that you love and you
- 9:52are grateful for. You get the idea. So you sit
- 9:57with Marvin and your eyes and in your mind spend
- 10:04a few moments thinking of all the things you're grateful
- 10:08for all of the good things in your life, all
- 10:13of the things that make you happy. So just sit
- 10:17there with Marvin for just a moment. Now, Marvin opens
- 12:04his eyes and you do too. Marvin says, now it's
- 12:11time to say thank you for all the good things
- 12:15in your life. So the two of you say as
- 12:19loud as you can, thank you, thank you, thank you.
- 12:23Doesn't that feel good, especially when you say it really loudly.
- 12:29How do you feel right now? Can you feel the
- 12:34big smile on your face? Can you feel your heart
- 12:38all filled up with love and gratitude. Marvin smiles at
- 12:46you and tells you that you did very well for
- 12:49your first time. He's an expertcy he does it all
- 12:53the time. But it's now time for Marvin to go.
- 13:00He says his goodbyes and waddles off into the stream.
- 13:04You ask him where he's going. He says he's going
- 13:07home now, but first he wants to have a little swim,
- 13:13so he says goodbye again and swims off into the distance,
- 13:17quacking away happily as he goes. You think he's very mysterious,
- 13:23this Marvin, very very nice, but very mysterious. You don't
- 13:28know anything about him at all, but you do like him,
- 13:33what a lovely little mister Ducky is. You won't ever
- 13:37forget Marvin hell you he Now put your feet into
- 13:45the water and feel the cool, refreshing flow of it
- 13:49running gently over them, and it feels so wonderful, so
- 13:53refreshing and revitalizing. And you look around you, so free here,
- 14:01so relaxed, and it feels so wonderful just to sit
- 14:06with your feet in the cool, calm water, listening to
- 14:11the sounds of nature, just you, the water and nature,
- 14:19and you feel so very grateful just to be here.
- 14:24So sit for just a moment and just listen. Listen
- 14:32to the sounds of the crystal clear calming water as
- 14:37it soothes your very soul. Listen to the sounds of
- 14:42crystal clear calming water as it makes your soul sing
- 14:48with happiness. Now you realize, now you are back in
- 15:03your very own bed, feeling all warm and snuggling, and
- 15:12it's time for you to sleep now, as your eyes
- 15:15are becoming very heavy and your body is beginning to
- 15:20go all soft with sleepiness. So you settle down and
- 15:26pull the quilt or blanket up over your shoulders and
- 15:30take a big, deep breath in through your nose and
- 15:37then slowly and gently breathe out through your mouth, and
- 15:42you feel so happy you met Marvin today, so blessed,
- 15:49so grateful, as you take another deep breath in and
- 15:56slowly and gently breathe out one last time, deep breath in,
- 16:08and slowly and gently breathe house, And just as the
- 16:15wave of sleepiness is coming all over your body, you
- 16:22see once again Marvin's happy little face, lovely Marvin, Marvin,
- 16:29the Mystic Doug, and you give a great, big soft
- 16:34sigh as you smile and drift gently into the best
- 16:41might sleep ever have. Cancast
